- 0:44Speaker 1: victory and a life that is full of the Holy spirits,
- 0:51Speaker 1: a life that is brought to maturity in Christ. We
- 0:54Speaker 1: are not supposed to be babes in Christ our whole lives.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Hey man. We are not supposed to just walk around
- 1:01Speaker 1: in our spiritual diapers. You know, We're supposed to grow
- 1:04Speaker 1: up and mature in the Word. And so this is
- 1:08Speaker 1: our heart, this is our desire. I'm your host, I'm

- 1:53Speaker 1: to join us in a life chat every day at
- 1:56Speaker 1: eleven am Pacific Standard time. We are in there to
- 2:01Speaker 1: pray with you, to connect with you, and we'd like
- 2:04Speaker 1: to hold each other accountable. We believe that the ingrafted
- 2:09Speaker 1: word is able to save our souls and so we
- 2:13Speaker 1: have chosen to walk down that narrow path, that narrow
- 2:17Speaker 1: world that leads to life. So I encourage you guys
- 2:20Speaker 1: to come and join us in a life chat. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: also encourage you to bring the whole family together and
- 2:28Speaker 1: listen to this podcast as we go verse by verse,
- 2:34Speaker 1: breaking down the word together, getting an understanding of it
- 2:39Speaker 1: and learning how to apply it right. The Book of
- 2:44Speaker 1: James tells us not to be hearers of the words only,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but to also be doers of the word. We have
- 2:52Speaker 1: an Accountability Partner segment in this podcast that means you
- 2:56Speaker 1: can interact with us. All you have to do is
- 3:00Speaker 1: fill out the information. There's questions there that they are
- 3:05Speaker 1: self examining questions or should I say self confrontation. This
- 3:11Speaker 1: is something that we need to do on a daily
- 3:12Speaker 1: basis and just go over the questions and be honest
- 3:17Speaker 1: with yourself and then reach out for us to contact
- 3:22Speaker 1: and follow up with you, and we will love to
- 3:24Speaker 1: pray with you and to walk you through anything that
- 3:28Speaker 1: you may be dealing with so that we can see
- 3:31Speaker 1: you on the other side in victory. Amen. We need
- 3:35Speaker 1: to confess and forsake a life of sin and replace
- 3:39Speaker 1: it with the Word of God. Hallelujah. So that's our agenda,
- 3:45Speaker 1: that's our purpose, that is our plan. Today, we're gonna
- 3:49Speaker 1: pick it up and acts chapter seventeen. We're gonna go
- 3:52Speaker 1: through verse ten through fifteen, and we're also coming at
- 3:56Speaker 1: you from the New King James Bible. Get your Bible's ready,
- 4:01Speaker 1: your highlighters in your no paths, because we're diving in
- 4:04Speaker 1: the Word together. Let's go before the Father in prayer.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Heavenly Father, we thank you, Father God for waking us
- 4:13Speaker 1: up today. We thank you for your healing grace. So God,
- 4:17Speaker 1: we thank you for your presence that is here right now,
- 4:20Speaker 1: your intent in your heart for this podcast, your intent
- 4:24Speaker 1: and your heart for the listeners. We ask o God,
- 4:27Speaker 1: that you will use this so God as a mighty weapon,
- 4:30Speaker 1: a mighty tool to pierce the darkness to reach our
- 4:34Speaker 1: brothers and sisters. Oh God, Oh Lord, who have lost
- 4:37Speaker 1: their way. Oh God, let it be a beacon of
- 4:40Speaker 1: light to bring them back home. Oh God, help us
- 4:44Speaker 1: to remain on the narrow path and not veer left
- 4:48Speaker 1: to the right. And we asked this in Jesus' name. Amen.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And that's the big Hallelujah right there. So, as I
- 5:02Speaker 1: was saying, we're gonna be in the Book of Acts
- 5:05Speaker 1: at eight, chapter seventeen, verse ten through fifteen, this is
- 5:10Speaker 1: actually one of my favorite passages in the Book of Acts.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So I'm excited that we're going over it today. So
- 5:19Speaker 1: we're gonna pick up where we're left off. In Thesalonaika,
- 5:24Speaker 1: we see Paul the Silast escaping danger once again, continuing
- 5:29Speaker 1: the mission and staying faithful even when they are under pressure. Right,
- 5:36Speaker 1: they're like America's most wanted right now. I mean, of course,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I know America wasn't around back then, but you know,
- 5:44Speaker 1: when I'm trying to say that almost every city they've
- 5:47Speaker 1: been to, they have been chased out of those cities
- 5:53Speaker 1: by the unbelieving Jews, right and by wicked men who
- 5:58Speaker 1: are stirred up against the message.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It looks like you lost another one.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And it's gonna happen again. But there's a little twist.
- 6:10Speaker 1: There's something different about these groups, this group of people
- 6:16Speaker 1: as we read. So let me make sure I got
- 6:24Speaker 1: everything on my end. I'd like to get the scriptures up.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We're gonna read the passage and its entirety. Then we're
- 6:37Speaker 1: gonna go back and we're going to break it all down.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it in the mean King James, all right,
- 7:00Speaker 1: where the city says men. Then the brethren immediately sent
- 7:06Speaker 1: Paul in silence away by night to Bria. When they arrived,
- 7:12Speaker 1: they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: want to say this again. I love this pattern. Paul
- 7:21Speaker 1: stays consistent. He goes where the people gather there were
- 7:26Speaker 1: more fair minded, They were more fair minded than those
- 7:32Speaker 1: in Thessala and Nika, and that they received the Word
- 7:37Speaker 1: with all readiness, and search the scriptures daily to find
- 7:42Speaker 1: out whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed,
- 7:48Speaker 1: and also not a few of the Greeks. Now, but
- 7:51Speaker 1: it means not a few, that means a whole lot
- 7:54Speaker 1: of them. A large number of Greeks believe. They here
- 7:59Speaker 1: we go again. Now, this is the same thing we
- 8:01Speaker 1: saw in Thessalon Aika. Prominent women as well as men believed.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But here's the turning point right here verse thirteen. But
- 8:14Speaker 1: when the Jews from Thessala and Aika learn that the
- 8:18Speaker 1: Word of God was preached by Paul and Aborea, they
- 8:23Speaker 1: came there also and stirred up the crowds. Now, I
- 8:28Speaker 1: wonder how were they able to do this? How are
- 8:30Speaker 1: they able to always stir up the crowds? They knew
- 8:34Speaker 1: how to get people involved. The one thing I want
- 8:40Speaker 1: to notice, they didn't just do it themselves. The Kingdom
- 8:45Speaker 1: of Darkness is united. They didn't come on their own.
- 8:50Speaker 1: They got reinforcements in backup. They went to the crowds
- 8:56Speaker 1: to cause them to do their dastardly deeds right fourteen.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Then immediately the Brethren sent Paul away to go to
- 9:08Speaker 1: the sea, but both Silas and Timothy remained there. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: those who conducted Paul brought him to Athens. In receiving
- 9:22Speaker 1: a command for Silas and Timothy to come to him
- 9:26Speaker 1: with all speed, they departed like man, this is good,
- 9:35Speaker 1: all right, So let's break it down verse ten, And
- 9:40Speaker 1: the Brothren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night
- 9:50Speaker 1: to Bria. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue
- 9:56Speaker 1: of the Jews. Amen. So now notice with me that
- 10:08Speaker 1: how strategic this move was. They left under the cover
- 10:13Speaker 1: of night to avoid further violence. Here, Amen, so faith,
- 10:23Speaker 1: our faith will sometimes require action and discernment together. This
- 10:32Speaker 1: was strategic for them to get away from the Jews
- 10:36Speaker 1: that followed them all the way from Thessala and Ka.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I think that was amazing. Now Paul did not stay
- 10:44Speaker 1: where it was not safe. He had enough wisdom to
- 10:49Speaker 1: flee and to leave the scene. But they moved forward.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They did not back down at all. Everywhere they went,
- 10:58Speaker 1: they preached when they taught the word. Nowabria was the
- 11:05Speaker 1: next mission field, ready to receive the truth of the Gospel,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and the truth is always a threat against the lie.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Now this shows us God's timing is perfect, and safety
- 11:23Speaker 1: does not mean that we should hide it, be passive
- 11:29Speaker 1: and be inactive. We should still be active even though
- 11:35Speaker 1: we're trying to remain safe or trying to avoid danger.
- 11:41Speaker 1: It looks like you lost another one in verse eleven.
- 11:45Speaker 1: These were more fair minded than those in Thesalonaika. I
- 11:50Speaker 1: love that. In some translation, I think the old king
- 11:54Speaker 1: James said that they were more noble than those that's Nika,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and that they received the Word with all readiness. They
- 12:04Speaker 1: were ready to receive it. They were not prejudiced, they
- 12:08Speaker 1: were not envious, they had nothing in their hearts. And
- 12:12Speaker 1: this reminds me of the parable of the seed and
- 12:16Speaker 1: the sower. And if you ever, if you get some time,
- 12:21Speaker 1: we'll make some time to read that parable after this podcast,
- 12:26Speaker 1: because I want to point out that the seed was
- 12:32Speaker 1: sewn into different ground. There was stony ground. Some seed
- 12:37Speaker 1: had thorns that choked the seed. Some seed was so
- 12:42Speaker 1: shallow there was no root for the seed to grow.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Then there was some seed that fell into good ground.
- 12:49Speaker 1: This is good ground because if you remember, as we
- 12:53Speaker 1: went through our other episodes, we pointed out how that
- 13:00Speaker 1: the other cities were envious of Paul. They had bitter envy,
- 13:10Speaker 1: They were jealous, and they were angry. The seed of
- 13:16Speaker 1: the Word cannot grow in that type of soil. It
- 13:21Speaker 1: is very important that we till the ground of our heart.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm always asking God to examine me and checking my
- 13:30Speaker 1: heart to see what is in it and asking the
- 13:33Speaker 1: Holy Spirit to remove it. And man, if this is
- 13:38Speaker 1: not something that we can do or we have the
- 13:39Speaker 1: power to do, we have to yield to the Holy
- 13:42Speaker 1: Spirit and yield, and I love it because these men
- 13:47Speaker 1: have good ground. They had a readiness to receive the word,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and not only did they receive it, they searched the
- 13:56Speaker 1: scripture daily to find out whether these things or so.
- 14:01Speaker 1: This is what we're supposed to be doing today. This
- 14:05Speaker 1: is a good example. And it's sad to say. What
- 14:11Speaker 1: do we always say on this podcast? That is, it
- 14:15Speaker 1: is a narrow road and only a few will find it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You want to know who's on that narrow road. The
- 14:27Speaker 1: people that when they go to church they receive the
- 14:32Speaker 1: word with the readiness. But not only do they receive
- 14:38Speaker 1: the word, they search the scriptures to find out whether
- 14:41Speaker 1: or not it is so a man, There's two things
- 14:46Speaker 1: that make you good ground. Receive the word, be ready
- 14:52Speaker 1: to receive it once you receive it, search the scriptures.
- 14:58Speaker 1: This is pleasing unto God. As a matter of fact,
- 15:02Speaker 1: the book Timothy, it says to Stody to study, excuse me, Stody,
- 15:07Speaker 1: to study thyself, to show yourself approved, that you are
- 15:14Speaker 1: a good worker, that you are prepared, that you are noble.
- 15:19Speaker 1: We need to know this word like the back of
- 15:22Speaker 1: our hand. The word of God is our weapon against
- 15:25Speaker 1: the enemy, against our flesh and this world. It's not
- 15:31Speaker 1: about being led by our emotions. Our emotions cannot defeat
- 15:35Speaker 1: our enemy, our own reasoning, our own thought, life, our
- 15:42Speaker 1: flesh cannot win this battle. Beloved, we have to do
- 15:46Speaker 1: it through the Holy Spirit, by the Word of God. Amen,
- 15:50Speaker 1: with a ready heart. I love the brands, man, I
- 15:54Speaker 1: love it to see people respond this way, but it's
- 15:59Speaker 1: sad that this is only a few. All the other cities,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you don't hear of them responding like the Agareeons did. Amen.
- 16:13Speaker 1: They were examining the word daily. They were not passive
- 16:19Speaker 1: in their faith. Now Greek word for fair minded e
- 16:29Speaker 1: u g e n ees, I'm not going to try
- 16:35Speaker 1: to pronounce that and means noble minded or an open heart.
- 16:47Speaker 1: As I said a minute ago, some of the other
- 16:49Speaker 1: translations said that they were more noble than the others.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So they were noble minded and open hearted towards the faith.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Faith is not just hearing. Faith is testing truth against scriptures. Right,
- 17:16Speaker 1: faith comes by hearing, but we need to test the
- 17:20Speaker 1: truth against what has been written. Don't accept any teaching
- 17:28Speaker 1: at faith value, not even this own, not even this podcast,
- 17:33Speaker 1: not even what I teach over the airwaves. You needed
- 17:38Speaker 1: again confirm it in God's words right, allow the Holy
- 17:44Speaker 1: Spirit to guide you in that hallelujah, verse twelve. Therefore
- 17:51Speaker 1: many of them believed, and also not a few of
- 17:55Speaker 1: the Greeks, prominent women as well as men. Gospel. Look
- 18:00Speaker 1: at how powerful the gospel is. This is how we
- 18:04Speaker 1: need to go out into our community and man, we
- 18:08Speaker 1: need to go out and love on people. Look at
- 18:13Speaker 1: how they were reached. Hallelujah. And so I love the
- 18:23Speaker 1: fact that it's like the pattern just goes over and
- 18:27Speaker 1: over again, the fact that they go to the synagogue.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Then there's believers, and then there's prominent men and women.
- 18:38Speaker 1: The Jews believe in the Greeks believe, and it's like
- 18:42Speaker 1: a great revival that breaks out. I pray Lord that
- 18:45Speaker 1: this repeats in our lives today. Hallelujah. Now God, God's
- 18:52Speaker 1: word across as cultural and social boundaries, because the Greeks
- 18:59Speaker 1: and the Jews, Jews our fellowshipping together. Faith multiplies when
- 19:06Speaker 1: people are open hearted. Hallelujah. Now you can say the
- 19:11Speaker 1: Greeks or the Gentiles and prominent women believe and God's
- 19:17Speaker 1: truth doesn't discriminate. We need to reach beyond our comfort
- 19:23Speaker 1: zone and share Christ with everyone we come in contact with, Hallelujah,
- 19:32Speaker 1: verse thirteen. But when the Jews from Thussala and Nika
- 19:36Speaker 1: learned that the word of God was preached by Paul
- 19:41Speaker 1: at Bria, also they came there to agitating and stirring
- 19:49Speaker 1: up the crowd. See, they know who to go to.
- 19:55Speaker 1: They knew what type of people that would do their
- 19:58Speaker 1: dirty work. Opposition follows the gospel wherever it goes. My
- 20:09Speaker 1: pastor always says that two kingdoms are activated. When God moves,
- 20:14Speaker 1: the kingdom of darkness will also move to try to counteract.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Truth always meets resistance. The enemy tracks the message. Those
- 20:33Speaker 1: threatened by truth may try to spread chaos or even fear.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Stay alert and ground it in your faith. Don't trip.
- 20:51Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I used to say that
- 20:55Speaker 1: it's a good thing that we meet opposition and resistance. Allelujah.
- 21:04Speaker 1: In verse fourteen. Then the Brethren immediately sent Paul away
- 21:12Speaker 1: nighttime to the sea Silace, and Timothy stayed there. Now
- 21:19Speaker 1: Paul moved strategically while maintaining ministry. Now we touched on
- 21:26Speaker 1: that sometimes in ministry you need to separate temporarily for
- 21:33Speaker 1: safety or for strategy. He separated from Timothy in Silas,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but Paul moved to protect himself and the mission that
- 21:49Speaker 1: God called him on. Silence and Timothy remained to support
- 21:56Speaker 1: ongoing ministry. Sometimes you can reach more people by sending
- 22:05Speaker 1: out your disciples or delegating those who are in your charge. Amen,
- 22:11Speaker 1: As you spend time with people discipling them, there has
- 22:17Speaker 1: to be a point where they go out and they
- 22:20Speaker 1: further the gospel message. We need to be passing this
- 22:23Speaker 1: down from generation to generation. Now, a God can use
- 22:30Speaker 1: different roles in the same mission. Not everyone moves at
- 22:36Speaker 1: the same pace. Hallelujah. In verse fifteen, and those who
- 22:45Speaker 1: escaped Paul brought I mean, and those who escorted Paul
- 22:50Speaker 1: brought him to Athens and received a command for Silas
- 22:57Speaker 1: and Timpathy to come to him at as soon as possible.
- 23:02Speaker 1: They departed. Allelujah. Now, while traveling, Paul continued coordinating ministry.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Faithful ministry requires communication, vacation. Faithful ministry requires communication, planning,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and trust. Paul did not abandon Saul, I Mean, Silence
- 23:35Speaker 1: and Timothy. He set plans in place to continue the
- 23:40Speaker 1: ministry even under pressure. You need to stay mission minded.
- 23:50Speaker 1: And I love the fact how they submitted to Paul
- 23:55Speaker 1: how when Paul gave the word, they immediately obeyed. Paul
- 24:01Speaker 1: had honor, and he had respect amongst his disciples, amongst
- 24:06Speaker 1: the people that he poured into. Sometimes it's a heartbreaking
- 24:11Speaker 1: thing when you pour into someone and they betray you.
- 24:18Speaker 1: That's exactly what Judas did to Jesus. When you pour
- 24:25Speaker 1: your whole heart and you're doing it with integrity, and
- 24:28Speaker 1: all you want to do is share the word. You
- 24:30Speaker 1: want to see this person grow. You want to see
- 24:33Speaker 1: God do everything in their lives that God wants them
- 24:38Speaker 1: to do. But people don't understand that it takes character.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Sometimes if a character is not ready for that next level,
- 24:51Speaker 1: you can self destruct. And that's one thing that really
- 24:58Speaker 1: upsets me in our ministry that his hot nation is
- 25:04Speaker 1: when other people come in and they try to I
- 25:09Speaker 1: guess you could say, take the leadership role or make
- 25:13Speaker 1: decisions in the disciples that I'm working with, right when
- 25:22Speaker 1: they're not. They're not. How can I say this? Of course,
- 25:30Speaker 1: your pastor was given by God and man, and a
- 25:34Speaker 1: pastor is to disciple men. God has given them that
- 25:40Speaker 1: authority in that role. But when other people come in,
- 25:45Speaker 1: move the pastor out of the way, they're not pouring
- 25:48Speaker 1: into them. They're not discipling them. They're not all they
- 25:52Speaker 1: can see. And here's the thing, especially with the ministry
- 25:56Speaker 1: like ours, we deal with artists and people who showcase talent,
- 26:01Speaker 1: and people are very talented. They think that they can
- 26:04Speaker 1: do ministrying because they're talented, because they can rap or sing,
- 26:10Speaker 1: that they think they should be out there and start
- 26:13Speaker 1: their own platform, when that is not the case. The
- 26:17Speaker 1: case is character building. If you don't have the character,
- 26:22Speaker 1: you're going to go out on self destruct and you're
- 26:26Speaker 1: gonna go out especially if you have a platform, you're
- 26:30Speaker 1: going to affect more people and you're gonna be held
- 26:34Speaker 1: more accountable. God's process is to be sent out, to
- 26:40Speaker 1: be discipled, and to be sent out. God cares more
- 26:45Speaker 1: about your character than about what you do. And so
- 26:49Speaker 1: there's been times when people would come and they would
- 26:55Speaker 1: take liberties to tell people to you know, of course,
- 27:01Speaker 1: they can tell you how to you know, create your
- 27:06Speaker 1: own brand, or how to do this, how to do
- 27:08Speaker 1: that and do the other, But do they care about
- 27:13Speaker 1: your soul? Do they care about your character? These men
- 27:18Speaker 1: were submitted to Paul. The Bible says submit to godly authority,
- 27:28Speaker 1: to submit to the word If you can't submit to
- 27:31Speaker 1: your pastor or leader, how are you going to submit
- 27:33Speaker 1: to God? But the children can't submit to their parents,
- 27:38Speaker 1: how are they going to submit to God. It's not
- 27:41Speaker 1: whether they're wrong or right. I mean, of course, if
- 27:45Speaker 1: they are encouraging you to sin, and I'm not saying
- 27:50Speaker 1: submit to that if they go against God's word, But
- 27:53Speaker 1: I'm not saying that they have to be perfect. Like
- 27:59Speaker 1: the Bible says, I'm your parents, honor is unconditional. Maybe
- 28:04Speaker 1: your parents learn out of pocket in a lot of
- 28:09Speaker 1: different areas, but we can still choose to forgive and
- 28:12Speaker 1: honor them. Why because we are obeying God. And if
- 28:17Speaker 1: you're leader or parent, or whoever it may be, is
- 28:22Speaker 1: out of pocket, by your obedience, God will correct them right.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And then there's a season where you will be risen
- 28:31Speaker 1: up and you will be pouring into others. And it's
- 28:36Speaker 1: the same process. We got to see the fruit. They
- 28:40Speaker 1: have to be tested. You got to see faithfulness and
- 28:45Speaker 1: see that God is working before you send them out.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And man, hallelujah, I love it. I love how these
- 28:56Speaker 1: brothers responded to Paul. Immediately after they received the command
- 29:01Speaker 1: to continue the ministry. They honored him as their leader. Nowadays,
- 29:07Speaker 1: we do not honor people in positions of leadership. Society
- 29:11Speaker 1: does not honor police officers. The church does not honor
- 29:17Speaker 1: the pastor anymore. Teachers are getting beat up and threatened
- 29:21Speaker 1: by students. These are God's gifts. These people were put
- 29:26Speaker 1: in place to help you. You hurt yourself when you
- 29:33Speaker 1: sabotage God's order. Amen, It's not about egos, not about saying,
- 29:41Speaker 1: oh I'm in charge, Oh I'm Paul, and I can
- 29:44Speaker 1: command y'all to come wherever I'm at. Now that that
- 29:48Speaker 1: is not it at all. This is order. This is
- 29:53Speaker 1: staking on mission. All right, Let's go ahead and go
- 30:01Speaker 1: to a quick break.
- 30:03Speaker 4: This is.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Something that, Amen, God is just amazing.

- 30:18Speaker 4: is the hiss hop radio shows.

- 31:13Speaker 3: broke the day, gotta sat on the road.
- 31:14Speaker 4: We were just playing cotton.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Rob had provide from the start because we grew up
- 31:18Speaker 3: with on far in the revival in the city.

- 31:34Speaker 4: We got a chance one day. I know, I know
- 31:36Speaker 4: we see a lot in you one day. Put out.
- 31:42Speaker 1: God, please, last child. I set up Proud this morning.

- 31:49Speaker 3: Way bout sixteen from the way the grave.
- 31:54Speaker 2: God, please say the set of Proud play time.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Wage old gre Need you need John.

- 32:40Speaker 2: Oh oh.
- 32:47Speaker 4: You need you need John, You need joint.
- 32:56Speaker 2: God Please, that's child God need job up.
- 33:10Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 33:14Speaker 4: is the His Hop Radio show.
- 33:33Speaker 1: All right. We are back from the break that was
- 33:36Speaker 1: the four to oh four crew right here on His
- 33:40Speaker 1: Hot Radio podcast and your love check them out. Hit
- 33:47Speaker 1: you with that hot heat every time. Right here on
- 33:52Speaker 1: the podcast, we're talking about the Book of Acts. We're
- 33:58Speaker 1: talking about opposition under fire. We're talking about order and ministry.
- 34:07Speaker 1: We're talking about opposition as part of following Christ on
- 34:13Speaker 1: a trip on that also, strategic action doesn't mean compromise,
- 34:20Speaker 1: doesn't mean can be complacent or to give up the
- 34:24Speaker 1: mission altogether. Talked about fair mindedness scripture, loving hearts receive
- 34:32Speaker 1: the Gospel. Those who actually train their hearts in the
- 34:36Speaker 1: scripture is very reasonable. All we have to do is
- 34:41Speaker 1: our homework and we will come to our own conclusions.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And Man, God did not make it difficult at all.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And ministry often requires collaboration, flexibility and endurance, and I
- 35:01Speaker 1: pray that God will give us all those things. Now
- 35:05Speaker 1: it's time for the accountability partner segments. As you mentioned
- 35:10Speaker 1: when we started this podcast that there are a lot
- 35:14Speaker 1: of Christians who are still playing around with sin. We
- 35:18Speaker 1: need to stop it. I had to check myself just recently, Man,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I was like, sometimes when I get convicted, I get
- 35:26Speaker 1: convicted to the core, like there is no second guessing.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I need to make sure that I'm right, but I'm
- 35:33Speaker 1: good that I'm making it in. We cannot take this
- 35:36Speaker 1: for granted. There's nothing in the word that you're going
- 35:40Speaker 1: to find where it says it's okay to sin, and
- 35:42Speaker 1: if you sin, you will make it into the kingdom.
- 35:46Speaker 1: And man, we need to wage war against it. And
- 35:52Speaker 1: why not get reinforcements. We see that that's what the
- 35:57Speaker 1: enemy does. You saw the Jews. They went from city
- 36:01Speaker 1: to city to persecute Paul. But instead of going to
- 36:06Speaker 1: the authorities, they go to all the monsters and gang
- 36:10Speaker 1: bankers to get reinforcement and then want to stir up
- 36:14Speaker 1: a whole city. They make a huge impact. They were
- 36:18Speaker 1: able to stir up an entire city against the Apostles.
- 36:25Speaker 1: So imagine what we do when we come together in prayer.
- 36:28Speaker 1: The Bible says that we chase tens of thousands. Amen.
- 36:34Speaker 1: But we are in God's family. We need to be
- 36:38Speaker 1: more united and work together, and we need to chase
- 36:43Speaker 1: the enemy out of our community. Amen, hallelujah. And one
- 36:48Speaker 1: of the way to do it is hold each other accountable,
- 36:51Speaker 1: pray for one another, correct one another as needed out
- 36:56Speaker 1: of love. Right, you don't need to be obnoxious about it,
- 36:59Speaker 1: but out of love that of grace, and keep each
- 37:03Speaker 1: other in the word. That's the whole point. So there's
- 37:08Speaker 1: daily challenges we put in a life chat, so I
- 37:12Speaker 1: would invite you to go over there and read them.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Read yours today. There's assignments attached to it. Call your
- 37:18Speaker 1: accountability partner and ask who in your life can support
- 37:24Speaker 1: you through spiritual storms. He can pray with you together,
- 37:30Speaker 1: can help you walk through the tough challenging times in
- 37:35Speaker 1: your walk with God and man hallelujah. We need our reinforcements.
- 37:44Speaker 1: And also if you want to go further on the app,

- 38:14Speaker 1: the questions and be honest with yourself, amen, and let

- 38:29Speaker 1: a music ministry. We have a radio station. We're soon

- 39:22Speaker 1: hit them over to the life chats for the trivia.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Who is gonna be the trivia champion for today? Right now?
- 39:32Speaker 1: The last person that you saw was missus his hot
- 39:37Speaker 1: She knocked Zone three out of his spot. So who's
- 39:44Speaker 1: gonna knock her out of her spot today? As the
- 39:48Speaker 1: trivia champ? Is the question? Now? The question is who
- 39:56Speaker 1: were the two camp hands? It stayed in Bria while
- 40:01Speaker 1: Paul traveled. Who were his two companions? You stayed behind
- 40:09Speaker 1: while Paul went ahead? All right, the first one to
- 40:13Speaker 1: answer it is the trivia champ for today. I also
- 40:22Speaker 1: want to give a community shout out. I want to
- 40:25Speaker 1: mention the business mixer that we do the first Tuesday
- 40:29Speaker 1: of every month, the lvn M Business Mixer. Go to

- 41:48Speaker 1: Now I'm going to highlight our nonprofit organization, his Opination, Inc.
- 41:56Speaker 1: We are a monitored We are a a nonprofit organization
- 42:02Speaker 1: of five to oh one c three, a public charity,
- 42:08Speaker 1: and we also going to the community. We minister at
- 42:12Speaker 1: the juvenile detention centers. We go out, we hold concerts
- 42:17Speaker 1: and events. We started out as a venue a Christian
- 42:23Speaker 1: club back of twenty twelve and we were able to
- 42:27Speaker 1: keep the doors open for about six and a half
- 42:29Speaker 1: years doing the free concerts, free events, free shows, and
- 42:34Speaker 1: we've had a minister's multiple ministers back to back come
- 42:39Speaker 1: out and minister on our platform. And that's how we
- 42:45Speaker 1: birthed the podcast, the station, the TV network, all that
