- 2:14all that good stuff we're gonna make it happen we got
- 2:17the new york city mayor's race next week november 4th
- 2:21and it's one of those deals where if you're
- 2:24not sure what the hell is going on let's talk about you know for the most part
- 2:28we're going to talk about the top candidates we got zoran mandani from the democratic
- 2:33party young brother in his mid-30s you know doing his thing whatever it is and
- 2:39you cromo and an established democrat who decided,
- 2:43hey, I'm going to keep running as an independent as he lost the nomination or
- 2:48the nomination for the Democratic Party.
- 2:51Back in the primaries, you got Curtis Lewa representing the Republican Party.
- 2:56Curtis Lewa, I think this is like his second or third time that he's running. I mean, he's...
- 3:01Let me just say that the dude is like taking the L's for the Republican Party
- 3:05when it comes to New York City. New York City, look, my thing is this.
- 3:08What are we talking about here? 85%, 80% of New York City people are Democrats.
- 3:14So having a Republican person running such as Curtis Lee, well,
- 3:18somebody got to do it. You know what I mean?
- 3:20So that's that situation with that situation.
- 3:23So let's get on with my thoughts and what I think and so on and so forth.
- 3:29For those most people out there who have listened to my podcast when it comes to politics.
- 3:33And I love politics. I love all that good stuff because I love educating my people.
- 3:39And if I do decide to run, it's one of those things that, listen,
- 3:44I need your support. I need your help.
- 3:46It's not about believing that I can or the city needs New York City,
- 3:51whatever it is that we need you.
- 3:53It goes a little bit deeper than that. Because when it comes to politics,
- 3:57you're going to need all the help, especially in New York City.
- 4:00You're going to need all the donation, all the help, all hands on deck with whatever it is.
- 4:06But we definitely make it happen. One of the things that my understanding When
- 4:11it comes to these prediction polls Is that you got Zoran Mandami Former Queens Assemblyman.
- 4:19Running and for the boss He looks like he's the favorite candidate We have Andrew
- 4:24Cuomo Once again, former Democrat Now running independent People be like,
- 4:29oh, so he's still running Yeah, he's still running You know what I mean?
- 4:33And Curtis Lewa Let me just go with the Curtis Lewa because he is,
- 4:38let's just say in these top three, there's other candidates out there that be running.
- 4:43And I always emphasize to people, don't think that these three people are the
- 4:49only ones who are running for major.
- 4:51These are the top three candidates in New York City. There's other candidates.
- 4:55I would love to go more in that in terms of who's the other candidate,
- 4:59but it's one of those things where, how can I say it to you?
- 5:03But it's, I mean, I'm independent and I'm just going to throw this.
- 5:09I'm independent. I wish there were real independent candidates,
- 5:13not Andrew Cuomo, in case he got the means, he got the monies, all that good stuff.
- 5:18I wish there was other third party. I mean, I know that Andrew Yang,
- 5:22who ran for president, I mean, who ran for president and ran for mayor,
- 5:26he got his moving forward kind of party, but, you know, I don't know where's
- 5:30that at. You know what I mean?
- 5:32I just wish that there were more candidates who are at least more independent, more to that effect.
- 5:39My issue, let's say, with Curtis Lewa, right?
- 5:42Curtis Lewa, it's one of those people that, you know, he's been doing some activist
- 5:48work, whatever it is, former Guardian Angels is what the founder of Guardian
- 5:52Angels, those people with the Red Beret in the 80s.
- 5:56If you are aware of that, and as of age, that they'll remember certain people
- 6:02that decided to take it upon themselves to kind of in New York City in the 80s.
- 6:07But in the 80s was wild new york city is always wild in
- 6:10the 80s my understanding i came here in the late 80s but
- 6:13in the 80s i heard new york city was stupid wild
- 6:16so you got these uh individuals that were patrolling the
- 6:20train train station the streets and you know because sometimes they listen uh
- 6:26by the time that you call police you call 911 good luck it's gonna take a while
- 6:32so you got these people and you got a courtesy who took it upon himself to say let's make it happen.
- 6:38To what you feel about that, hey, by all means. But my thing is this with Curtis.
- 6:44And I always said this about the Republican Party in New York City.
- 6:49New York City is very Democrat. It's very bluish. So in order to keep,
- 6:54and this is me talking here in general,
- 6:57in order to keep like a monopoly with these two parties, where I call them a
- 7:02duopoly, is that you need people to run, let's say, Republican.
- 7:07You need someone on the opposite side so you could say, hey,
- 7:11the people that voted for me, that means there's Republicans in New York City.
- 7:15Do they mean? Do they trust me?
- 7:17Do they believe in me? Do they think that I'm going to be a great mayor in terms
- 7:21of Curtis Lee? Well, you don't know. But the numbers have shown.
- 7:25Last time he ran against Eric Adams, the former mayor, who did his four years
- 7:30and is not running, dropped out about a month ago.
- 7:33And it's one of those things that, you know, Curtis Lee, you know,
- 7:37like I've mentioned in my socials, he's the one that takes the L for the R.
- 7:42Basically, he takes the laws for the Republican Party, because I don't think...
- 7:48And in the top of my head, I don't think that there is a viable Republican candidate
- 7:53who could actually run for media.
- 7:55The days of Giuliani. Giuliani was a different monster.
- 7:58He's a district attorney. Whatever he was, you know, he built something.
- 8:02Whether you agree or not, he built a little resume there.
- 8:06And again, it's hard for Republicans throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
- 8:13Staten Island, Queens, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan.
- 8:17Showing all that love to the five boroughs, you already know.
- 8:20But the fact is that Curtis Lee was just that representative who represent the
- 8:25Republicans and the Republicans that are living in New York City.
- 8:28Again, I always see that it's just taking our L for the Republican Party in
- 8:34a sense because I don't think that they will, how can I say it to you?
- 8:39I don't think that they would run and sacrifice their best candidate or someone who could win.
- 8:44I don't think that they were going to do that. They might have some Republican
- 8:48people here running, doing little things here in little districts here in New York City.
- 8:53But again, I don't think that the Republican Party is here to be like,
- 8:57let's put people, you know, our top people here to run mayor,
- 9:01whatever the case. They're just going to throw somebody who might have a name.
- 9:05But again, Curtis Slaywood will have nothing to lose when it comes to the elections.
- 9:10And that's the way I see it. If you want to vote for him, you know,
- 9:14I mean, I'm going to try to just little discern what they represent.
- 9:18But, you know, New York City, probably got his crime.
- 9:21That's always been a thing. Homeless.
- 9:24There's been an uptick. But we see something funny going on.
- 9:29Immigrant issues. Again, New York City, it's one of those things that they take
- 9:33one for the team when it comes to the political machine You know,
- 9:36there's a lot of issues and rent and so on And I often said about New York City,
- 9:43Is that New York City is like a convenience store, right?
- 9:46You know, for those people who have lived life where they had to,
- 9:52because of an emergency, had to go to a convenience store.
- 9:55And when I say convenience, you could even mention a bodega.
- 9:59You always got to see these things that when you're in New York City,
- 10:02you pay a little extra just for you to have that convenience that you could get anything 24-7.
- 10:09I love my bodegas. I love my delis. I love all that. But the truth is this.
- 10:15If I'm looking for something extra that I need, whether it's,
- 10:18you know, let's say diapers for those who are family, family people,
- 10:23little milk, whatever it is, that's that extra, extra thing that they, I get it, they charge.
- 10:29And that's the way I see New York City is that you're paying extra when it comes
- 10:34to the rent, when it comes to food, when it comes to many things,
- 10:37you're paying extra because you are living in a place where you could get it all 24 seven.
- 10:43So then here comes Andrew Cuomo, who was the former governor of New York,
- 10:48and he had to resign because there was some type of scandal.
- 10:52And sadly, you know, for me, the way I see Cuomo, Cuomo's like a wannabe Trump,
- 10:56in a sense, and they fit the profile.
- 10:59You know, these are people that came from power, that had relatives,
- 11:03his father, and so on, was the governor of New York.
- 11:07You know, these are people that have this last name that resonates with people
- 11:11that I got money because, oh, yeah, your father did this, your father's that.
- 11:15And they come from these political machine or kind of I would call the mafia,
- 11:21you know, the Democratic mafia.
- 11:23The Democratic mafia and also in the Republican Party as well is that they have
- 11:28people who basically have been doing office work for a long time,
- 11:32but they reap the benefits of their last name and their connections.
- 11:37Similar to Donald.
- 11:39Donald Trump has, how can I say, reaped the benefits of being Trump,
- 11:43being his father's son, whatever it is, his connections.
- 11:47So basically, that's the way I see Cuomo.
- 11:50And once again, this is where I always say, if someone in the scandal where
- 11:57he harassed a couple of women, whatever it is,
- 12:00sadly once again depending on who
- 12:03is the candidate we turn
- 12:06the other cheek around and that's where i say to myself you see this is what
- 12:11politics and this is what bothers me about politics that you got certain groups
- 12:15whether it's the me too movement whatever it is you know pro-woman whatever
- 12:20you want to you know say to those effect is that depending on the candidate.
- 12:25If it's Donald Trump, oh, we got to go because Donald Trump,
- 12:28he's a woman, whatever it is, the case.
- 12:31But then Cuomo, he gets a free pass. You understand where I'm coming from on that one?
- 12:35And that's the sad thing because he's giving a free pass to many of these folks.
- 12:39They fit that profile. They white, they got a name, they got money, they got power.
- 12:44And because of dumb and these individuals, because you got a D on your name
- 12:50and then you're fighting Trump or whatever the case might be.
- 12:54Oh, no, no. You know what? We're going to vote for the lesser evil,
- 12:57and that's why we got to do Cuomo, whatever.
- 13:00See, that's sad. That breaks my heart because as someone...
- 13:05Who's feeling inspired to say, you know what, I want to run,
- 13:08but I want to run independent.
- 13:10But you see, the political machine tends to kind of, you know,
- 13:14they don't, you don't vote for people.
- 13:16You kind of, they already select the people that you need to vote.
- 13:19And sadly, people, that's what they do.
- 13:23And when it comes to Zoran's mandany came out of nowhere, out of nowhere, out of nowhere.
- 13:30But to me, it's not a coincidence because, you know, we could go with the Trump.
- 13:34Winning the presidency the first time around. We could go with Barack Obama,
- 13:39you know, fighting against Hillary.
- 13:41And we could go, you know, on and on and on. And the political machine have
- 13:46a way to kind of go to this factory of these political leaders that might look like you.
- 13:54They will have some color. They will sound like you.
- 13:58And when I say like you, we're talking about, you know, hey, listen, people
- 14:02of the so-called minorities the black community the
- 14:05muslim latino all these are communities that
- 14:08are underrepresented or sometimes overrepresented depending on who it is sometimes
- 14:14they just want to add color to congress just so they can say hey yeah we represent
- 14:18you and sometimes that's how i feel about mandani and my thing is this i have
- 14:24mandani on my voting Bing!
- 14:27When it comes to the primary, I put him second. Guess who was number one? That would be me.
- 14:34For those people out there that sometimes you want to vote, but you don't know
- 14:38who to vote, and you're conscious like, damn, I don't believe in these.
- 14:41Do I have to? No, sometimes you can just write your name in.
- 14:44That's why they say blank. That's why they say write in. Let's go.
- 14:48And if you don't know who to vote, look at my links. Look at my name.
- 14:52Put my name in there, because 2029 is coming.
- 14:55But when it comes to Zoran Mandani, you know, he might have said a couple of
- 15:00things that, hey, listen, I agree.
- 15:02You know, when it comes to our child care situation, when it comes to the rent.
- 15:07And believe it or not, I know people that if they're not living with people, whether it's a partner.
- 15:14You know, whether it's family member or someone to that effect,
- 15:17where if you're not living with them, 50% of your salary, regardless if you're
- 15:21making, you know, 80, 90, 100K.
- 15:25If you don't have anyone, then sadly, 50% of your salary goes on rent.
- 15:30With the other money, you know, you have to be careful. But,
- 15:34hey, think about it. It's that.
- 15:36Now, again, not everybody's built to want to own condos and houses and whatever the case might be.
- 15:42They just want to be citizens of New York City. Wake up, go to work,
- 15:45be productive, be a good member of society, do the good works and all that good stuff.
- 15:50And you know mandani's bringing some certain things
- 15:54that i've spoke about when it comes to child care
- 15:57when it comes to rent when it comes
- 16:00to crime when it comes to affordability new york city is that city new york
- 16:05city last time i checked i remember years ago i uh force magazine 35 billion
- 16:1135 billionaires living in new york city i think it was like 450 000 millionaires,
- 16:18Keep that in mind So we have what Maybe 100 150 billionaires living in this
- 16:24world Are you talking about,
- 16:2634 out of that list That are living in New York City So that means that.
- 16:33In order for, let's say, those individuals who got the means,
- 16:37who got the money, to say I'm in New York City living a good life,
- 16:41doing my thing, my company's doing all that good stuff.
- 16:44But somebody pays the price for that.
- 16:47And to live amongst them, that's the price that New York City residents,
- 16:52and you're talking about even what we would call the blue-collar, white-collar workers.
- 16:59Hey listen they gotta uh make ends meet and
- 17:02sadly living in new york city is that because you
- 17:05live amongst those individuals that means that the price of everything will
- 17:10go up and if i'll give an example i could get out of new york city and go to
- 17:14yonkers white plains and go to other areas of new york state or what we call
- 17:20the tri-state we got new jersey and we got connecticut and the sad thing is this,
- 17:25that I could find certain products that are less there.
- 17:28But you see, I'm going to spend gas money, right?
- 17:31Going to fill out a tank of $30, $40, whatever it is, just to go to Connecticut,
- 17:35Jersey to buy stuff because it's cheaper.
- 17:38And that's where the argument comes in when it comes to New York City.
- 17:42Well, at least you don't have to drive that far, right? That's the argument.
- 17:46We got you. Whatever you need, we got you. But it's a price to pay.
- 17:49And a person like Mandani My issue is with Mandani Is that he is backed up By
- 17:56this machine This liberal machine Who for some reason These are the creators
- 18:01Of the Ocasio-Cortez The Bernie Sanders.
- 18:05Ocasio-Cortez You know Congress You're in the Bronx District District 15 if I'm not mistaken 15 or 14,
- 18:12But the fact is this That they Look like you They sound like you Sometimes they
- 18:18act like you But they're not us And I'll be talking about that In my part two
- 18:23In a sense Of my podcast When it comes to,
- 18:27Mayoral Raise here You know Me throw in my name Hey listen We can make it happen.
- 18:33The sad thing is that I'm suspicious when these people, they become and it's
- 18:38like, you know, Mandani, you know, he's like in a factory of these leaders,
- 18:43these puppets, these parrots that Malcolm X warned us about.
- 18:47And that's one of the biggest issues that I have when it comes to people like
- 18:51Mandani or any political candidate that looks like us, that have a background
- 18:57of, you know, whether it's Puerto Rican, Black, Dominican or anything like that.
- 19:01Sadly you know we get control for all
- 19:04the people that got the means and the sadly the
- 19:07liberal machine that's in new york city tends to want to like pat themselves
- 19:11on the back yeah you know we represent you guys and we support you guys but
- 19:16in reality they don't and now they pushing mandani as this savior whatever the
- 19:21case might be here you know now sadly i know that mandani gets that thing.
- 19:25Oh, but he's a socialist. And I look and I tell people it's this.
- 19:29Regardless of what it is, we live in a capitalist country, capitalist city.
- 19:34It doesn't matter what your idea or the ideology would be, communist,
- 19:38socialist, capitalist, whatever it is, liberal, conservative,
- 19:42whatever it is, it's a machine.
- 19:45It's a machine and, you know, people will bend the knee for that machine.
- 19:49And I don't want people to think, hey, listen, if I'm running and I have an
- 19:52idea where the government should take more control of certain aspects of life,
- 19:58people are going to be like, oh, well, you know, you're a socialist.
- 20:01And then, you know, that discredit me. Because I think in this country When
- 20:05we use those words We attach those.
- 20:10Ideologies In countries like Venezuela Socialists, Russia,
- 20:14China Communists, and we say well they're struggling Because of that,
- 20:18but we can't say Well we're struggling because it's capitalism You know what
- 20:21I mean, what makes What system better We can't say oh because Russia there's
- 20:27people struggling, there's people that are living The good life too In those systems,
- 20:32Venezuela is a little different story Because United States have sanctions Over
- 20:36Venezuela for whatever it is They sell their oil to,
- 20:40Middle Eastern countries You know how that works So you got a lot about Venezuela
- 20:44But don't think that these people are just coming here Just because it's a socialist
- 20:49System And they're president socialists Just don't think that that's what it
- 20:55is There's other Crazier stories behind that,
- 21:00And when you sanction a country Then you're going to get a flood Of people from
- 21:05those countries coming over here,
- 21:07So for me When it comes to Wambandani Don't think hey listen But he's a socialist
- 21:12and he wants to do it Listen again It doesn't matter what system is Right now
- 21:17we're in a system That yet we still have poverty in New York City,
- 21:21Crime is a thing Domestic violence is a thing What are we doing I live here
- 21:25and I always explain to people I don't like to talk policies it's.
- 21:30In a sense where you cannot tell me, wait, listen, what policies have we have
- 21:35done in this New York City? I've been living here for three decades.
- 21:38What have we have done to help get the black people off, you know, areas that are poverty?
- 21:46You know, poverty leads to crime. You know what I mean?
- 21:48Not everybody that does the crime is a criminal.
- 21:51Sadly, when it comes to poverty, you get hungry, you're malnourished,
- 21:55you don't think right, you know, your mind is somewhere else.
- 22:00Mental issues.
- 22:03That's a thing in New York City. You know what I mean? But remember,
- 22:07all this comes that in New York City, the so-called capital of the world, have these people.
- 22:13So my take when it comes to voting for these individuals is that it's just a political machine.
- 22:18And we've seen Cuomo, you know, go after Mondani, Cuomo, you know,
- 22:22saying these negative things.
- 22:24But, you know, sometimes I feel like Cuomo is part of that system,
- 22:28just like Hillary. They help each other out.
- 22:30They help the Republican Party out by saying some stuff that is not very popular.
- 22:35So that's where we get the, if Mondani gets elected, people are going to be
- 22:39like, oh, man, I can't believe that people voted for Mondani and what people think.
- 22:43And I'm like, have you not seen what the likes of the Cuomos,
- 22:48the Hillary Clintons, they get paid by the machine just to, how can I say it to you?
- 22:54Tank their elections so you could elect the other person, whether it's Republican
- 22:59or someone in opposite, let's say Mandani, so that you could still run this political machine.
- 23:05Remember, the midterms is coming next year. For those living in America,
- 23:09the midterms will be, oh, it's the second year of that president.
- 23:12It's the second year of Donald Trump, Congress. We need to take over Congress,
- 23:18the Senate, whatever it is.
- 23:19And then you pop up all that for the next presidential election,
- 23:232028. It's this cycle that the machine always create.
- 23:27And the likes of Cuomo, I'll be honest, he just taken one for the team. He got nothing to lose.
- 23:32If he loses the election, so what? What does that mean? Is he going to be homeless?
- 23:36Is he going to go and have a mental breakdown issue? No.
- 23:40He's going to go out there and go to the news and the press.
- 23:43And whoever's running Democrat in the 2028 presidential election, guess what?
- 23:49He's going to support that person because, hey, we're fighting Trump.
- 23:52Or in 2028, we're fighting whatever it is that's running.
- 23:55Because, you know, President Trump cannot run again in the next something,
- 24:01unless something wild happens. You know what I mean?
- 24:03You know, World War II, I remember. I can't say I remember because I was not
- 24:07living during that time.
- 24:08But the president back then Franklin Delano Roosevelt
- 24:12was a three-term president because the circumstances
- 24:15is that you got to keep it going we got
- 24:18to keep it going but this World War II we can't have
- 24:21a change of you know a president whatever
- 24:24it is so we don't know you know what I mean but the
- 24:27sad thing is that you know the likes of Cuomo's and the Trump they
- 24:30all look the same it's like cookie cutter you
- 24:34know and I don't mean but to offend people but hey listen I don't
- 24:37hold back cookie cutter white men with power regardless of
- 24:40what you feel about them they would always be there
- 24:43and i'm pretty sure cuomo will make the rounds
- 24:46nobody's gonna probably ask him about his uh harassment or whatever it is because
- 24:52it's cuomo he's a democrat ah cuomo's just gonna open his mouth and say something
- 24:56about trump and that's it people are back on the bandwagon you know what i mean
- 24:59see how this works and it's up
- 25:02to us that at one point us the voters gotta wake up and say Hey, listen.
- 25:07No more, no mas.
- 25:11It's the legendary boxer that said to Roberto Duran, to Sugar Ray,
- 25:16back in the 80s, early 80s.
- 25:17He's getting punched left and right. He said, no more, no mas,
- 25:20no mas, no mas. Can't take it no more.
- 25:22And I want people to wake up and say, no more.
- 25:26The political machine have exhausted and has pushed this whole agenda with the
- 25:32Zorans, the Cuomos, the Sliwa.
- 25:35They all kind of like in the same cookie cutter type of sense.
- 25:38None of them are New York City And that's the thing What New York City needs,
- 25:44See New York City needs New York City New York City needs that person That is
- 25:49New York City That struggled through New York City You might have to say oh
- 25:53you know Eric Adams But you know what Eric Adams fell into that,
- 25:58Machine as well With the likes of you know Reverend R.
- 26:03Sharpton you know what I mean Another corruption and New York City That's what it does,
- 26:07Now, if those people feel like Zoran, it's that little kind of thing where you could say, yes,
- 26:14you know, finally, maybe New York City will stay away from these corrupted people,
- 26:18these people that been doing the thing, whatever it is for a long time, the Cuomas and Sliwa.
- 26:24Will give him that hope. But I always said, and I'm going to guarantee you is
- 26:29this, you got a person like Zoran, he's in, and there's going to be people who
- 26:33might feel slighted the way they feel slighted with Bernie Sanders.
- 26:37The way that some people feel slighted with Okasa Cortez, again,
- 26:42they're not here to really help.
- 26:44They're just here to buy votes or sell votes so that you could go out there
- 26:50and think like you got hope, but you don't.
- 26:54Sadly, as long as people is created by the machine, then you're going to have
- 26:59people that's going to go on their socials, that's going to go on the streets
- 27:02and say, well, I'm disappointed for voting for Zoran or whatever it is.
- 27:06You're going to get disappointed for voting for Zoran. You're going to be disappointed
- 27:10for voting for Trump, Sliwa, Cuomo.
- 27:14I mentioned Trump because there are those people, those people
- 27:17are going to be uh feeling uh biden harris
- 27:21you don't feel disappointed because at the
- 27:24end you're letting the machine dictate you and this
- 27:26is that one chance that perhaps four years from now if
- 27:30i decide let's make it happen and not four
- 27:33years from now i could start telling hey i'm gonna campaign my information is
- 27:37down below make it happen perhaps this is that real time where real people are
- 27:44the one who's out there in the news talking about what they're going to do for
- 27:48the people because we need real people.
- 27:51And we need people that are running who are real people, not these people with
- 27:56these titles, not business title, PhDs, whatever, HDs, whatever master's degree,
- 28:03whatever it is that you did, political science.
- 28:06Now we need the real people who struggle in this country, in this city to once
- 28:11again be the forefront because New York City needs New York City.
- 28:16And what better person than me? I am New York City. But let's make it happen. I'm out of here.
- 28:23Must love. You already know. Hit that like, comment, all that good stuff.
- 28:27Let's make it happen. If you're out there and do your vote, vote wisely.
- 28:32Do your homework. Once again, it's not about who you support and what party.
- 28:36It's about how much more can you take that you are adding fuel to the political machine.
- 28:43And sadly, the political machine doesn't care about you. anyways let's make
- 28:49it happen deconstructing topic podcast i'm out of here much love peace.
