Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cameridge Edge.
- 0:14Speaker 1: All right, we are live from Bravo con I am
- 0:17Speaker 1: with doctor Nicole Martin, which I have to ask you
- 0:20Speaker 1: a question.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Do I call you doctor?
- 0:24Speaker 3: No? You do not, Please don't. It's very formal, Like
- 0:27Speaker 3: even in the hospital, the nurses just call me Nicole
- 0:30Speaker 3: or even Nikki. Nikki is so cute.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I wish that you kind of went by I like Nikki.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I've always been a Nikki. I just became a Nicole
- 0:38Speaker 3: when I started doing Housewives. Why is that? I don't know.
- 0:41Speaker 3: That's what it's It's what they went with, and it
- 0:42Speaker 3: like stuck. And now I feel like every time it's
- 0:44Speaker 3: like doctor Nicole. It's a lot. What does your.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Fiance call you Nicole? Nicole?
- 0:49Speaker 3: But he's always called me Nicole. He was the only
- 0:50Speaker 3: one that called me Nicole. Everybody in my family, my
- 0:53Speaker 3: childhood friends called me Nikki.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Okay, Nikki. I think Nikki suits you.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I like Nikki.
- 0:59Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:00Speaker 2: And every Nikki that I know I like. I can't
- 1:03Speaker 2: say the same for Nicoles, though.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Nicole's like a little hard. It's like it's see, yeah,
- 1:08Speaker 3: it's it's aggressive.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's aggressive. I mean, not every not everybody can be
- 1:13Speaker 1: Teddy Joe. I mean it's a really gal name. I'm
- 1:17Speaker 1: sure that's on the top of your lists for your
- 1:20Speaker 1: baby name.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Teddy. I hadn't considered it, but you know what, we
- 1:26Speaker 3: kind of want to stick with a G name. I
- 1:28Speaker 3: don't know why. It's like Grayson. I kind of want
- 1:30Speaker 3: something that matches Grayson.
- 1:32Speaker 2: My guess is that you're having a girl.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And if I and I feel like you could name
- 1:39Speaker 1: your daughter's name Giselle.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Jell's a good, pretty girl name with a G.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Well, what else is there? Griselda?
- 1:48Speaker 3: I really like Genevieve, Oh my gosh.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Pretty, and Genevieve is really pretty. But then I just
- 1:53Speaker 1: don't want it to be shortened to Jen.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Jenna is nice.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Jenna's nice.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Viv Oh, Viv was my French name, and you know
- 2:01Speaker 1: when you're in high school and you have to take
- 2:03Speaker 1: French and then you pick a French name.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Mine was the Vet. I shortened it to Live.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I think I can say three words in French. So
- 2:14Speaker 1: thank you so much, Chilton had prep for all that
- 2:16Speaker 1: you taught me a great academic experience. I made it
- 2:20Speaker 1: through eleventh grade, so I'm nowhere near a doctor, but
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm happy to have doctor.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:27Speaker 1: First off, congratulations, thank you. I have to ask an
- 2:31Speaker 1: additional question. When you did your announcement, I thought it
- 2:35Speaker 1: was a double announcement that you were married and having a.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Baby, you know what. After we shot it and I
- 2:40Speaker 3: saw it, I was like, oh, people are going to
- 2:42Speaker 3: be so confused, like the white the flowers, and it wasn't.
- 2:45Speaker 3: It was just a baby announcement. Okay, So did I
- 2:49Speaker 3: get married at there? There was not an elopement.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Okay, because Tam and I got into it, not in
- 2:55Speaker 1: a bad way, but on the pod because she was saying,
- 2:57Speaker 1: why do you think that they're a whole day off
- 3:00Speaker 1: on getting married and we obviously didn't know you were
- 3:02Speaker 1: pregnant or trying or anything at that point, And I said,
- 3:05Speaker 1: because I don't think that Nicole does anything halfway, and
- 3:10Speaker 1: I think it's going to be over the top. I
- 3:13Speaker 1: think it's going to be all the things and she
- 3:14Speaker 1: doesn't have the bandwidth to deal with it at this
- 3:17Speaker 1: point in time.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Correct.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And but then I was like, shit, did they just alone?
- 3:21Speaker 2: And I lost another bet.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I'm going to be you hit it on the like
- 3:24Speaker 3: the nail on the head. So I don't like to
- 3:26Speaker 3: do anything half assed. It's never been my way of being.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And we really want to do like something big, something special,
- 3:32Speaker 3: probably a destination wedding, maybe Saint Bart's St Lee Como,
- 3:36Speaker 3: and that takes time. That takes time to plan, time
- 3:38Speaker 3: to get everybody there. And I'm turning forty next year,
- 3:41Speaker 3: so I knew I was kind of running out of
- 3:43Speaker 3: time in terms of, you know, safely having a baby.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And so when I had to prioritize what we wanted
- 3:49Speaker 3: to do, I was like, I really want to have
- 3:51Speaker 3: a baby, and so we were actively trying very hard
- 3:55Speaker 3: to get pregnant. And now we're remodeling the house and
- 3:58Speaker 3: we want to finish that so that the baby has
- 4:00Speaker 3: a room.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Listen, I'll just live in the house the way it
- 4:04Speaker 1: is if you need just like a tenant that won't leave.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I'm happy, just.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Incredible. We're very excited.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So did you do IVY if you got pregnant naturally?
- 4:13Speaker 3: No, we got pregnant naturally. What we did use, which
- 4:16Speaker 3: I recommend this is like, I know you guys have
- 4:18Speaker 3: a lot of female listeners. I used the mirror. It
- 4:21Speaker 3: was like It's like, what is that. It's like a
- 4:22Speaker 3: little machine where basically you pee on a stick and
- 4:26Speaker 3: you stick it in and it tells you your LH,
- 4:28Speaker 3: your fiside, your stick it in the machine you pee.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I was like, hold on, let me clarify. You on
- 4:34Speaker 3: a stick and then you stick this. You put the
- 4:36Speaker 3: stick in the machine and it tells you your LH levels.
- 4:39Speaker 3: It tells you your estrogen levels. So it basically tells
- 4:41Speaker 3: you the exact day that you're ovulating, so that you're
- 4:45Speaker 3: not just guessing and like am I ovulating? So you
- 4:48Speaker 3: can really time it if you're trying. Because I did
- 4:50Speaker 3: feel like, you know, every month that went by was
- 4:52Speaker 3: like a missed opportunity and it was starting to cause anxiety.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Well did it start? Do you know?
- 4:57Speaker 1: When? I know, at least for me, because I couldn't
- 4:59Speaker 1: get pregnant naturally with my first two, and it started
- 5:02Speaker 1: like I started having to like schedule sex to like
- 5:05Speaker 1: the next level.
- 5:06Speaker 2: And then it was that it becomes fun, I know,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and then you're like.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Just get it in, Like I don't want to have
- 5:10Speaker 3: sex on a Wednesday after work when I'm tired, but
- 5:13Speaker 3: I got abula. It's annoying.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so you guys were able to avoid that.
- 5:19Speaker 1: But now are you considered I think I was considered
- 5:22Speaker 1: this what do they like.
- 5:24Speaker 3: To say, Oh, geriatric pregnancy. Yes, yes, I am a
- 5:27Speaker 3: geriatric pregnancy, which was one of the reasons why you know,
- 5:30Speaker 3: I'm almost fifteen weeks. But we waited so long to
- 5:33Speaker 3: announce because since I am such high risk that OBI
- 5:36Speaker 3: wanted to do extra genetic testing on the baby, because
- 5:38Speaker 3: as we get older, your risk of having a baby
- 5:41Speaker 3: with a chromosomal abnormality increases. So we did something like
- 5:44Speaker 3: an amnuocentesis. It's called the CBS where they stick a
- 5:47Speaker 3: needle in your belly and take out. So we waited
- 5:50Speaker 3: two weeks for the full genetic panels to come back,
- 5:52Speaker 3: and we actually got those results on Tuesday, So that's
- 5:54Speaker 3: why we were like on Wednesday, we shot the announcement,
- 5:56Speaker 3: we released it, and we were really excited because we've
- 5:59Speaker 3: been holding onto it versus all.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's huge, and I mean you couldn't really tell
- 6:03Speaker 1: now unless.
- 6:04Speaker 2: That you were really like sizing up the situation last night.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Oh I feel big.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Well, it's it's also walking around like there's something that
- 6:12Speaker 1: happens in your feet where it feels like, wait.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Guys, I already switched like I had to put on
- 6:17Speaker 3: the Hobveana's no shame in my game. My feet got swollen.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Do you have cankels yet?
- 6:22Speaker 3: I don't have cankles, but I have like like cow toes,
- 6:26Speaker 3: like the toes.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, Yeah, no, it's and so I'm trying to
- 6:32Speaker 1: do the math right now. Will you be pregnant or
- 6:35Speaker 1: will you have just birthed when next season starts filming.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I will be very pregnant for reunion, which we usually
- 6:42Speaker 3: do around January, and then baby is due toward the
- 6:46Speaker 3: end of April, and we start filming typically beginning of April.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Okay, so it'll be like.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Hi, here's a baby shower and a baby. Yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I mean, but at least you'll be at the tail
- 6:55Speaker 1: end of it. You'll probably be slightly edgy.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Point.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's gonna that's gonna go great for my cast beads.
- 7:03Speaker 1: How much do you typically drink when you're filming, Like,
- 7:06Speaker 1: I must be a big I'm.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Not a big drinker. I feel like I always like
- 7:09Speaker 3: to stay very composed, so I try to limit my
- 7:12Speaker 3: drinking during filming. So to me, I don't think that's
- 7:15Speaker 3: gonna be a big deal. It's more just like the
- 7:18Speaker 3: emotions and being tired and extra irritable and cranky. Yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 3: and the only ten you lash out unnecessarily.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And then when other people are drunk and then they're
- 7:26Speaker 1: talking NonStop, your patience level extra annoyed. Yeah, you know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: like you realize, oh, that person's a close talker, or
- 7:33Speaker 1: they east are their breast smells, other things annoy you
- 7:36Speaker 1: when you're sober. Yeah, Like there were things that I
- 7:39Speaker 1: didn't realize about the women on Beverly Hills when I
- 7:43Speaker 1: wasn't pregnant and drinking and part of the conversation versus
- 7:46Speaker 1: once I was pregnant. I was like, honestly, if I
- 7:48Speaker 1: have to hear one more peep out of your mouth
- 7:50Speaker 1: right now, it's eleven thirty. We've said the same thing
- 7:53Speaker 1: eighty two times, and if you don't zip it and
- 7:56Speaker 1: move it right along.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Like that's how I feel I'm gonna be at that point,
- 8:00Speaker 3: I'm just over it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah, are you over anybody currently in your group of friends?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Honestly, I'm in a pretty good place with most people
- 8:10Speaker 3: on my cast. I feel like this season, at least
- 8:12Speaker 3: for me, was one of amends for the most part.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Well, we see a different relationship with you and Larsa forming,
- 8:20Speaker 1: And I have to say I have always had a
- 8:22Speaker 1: little bit of I've always kind of not seen Larsa
- 8:27Speaker 1: for being the I always had a little bit of
- 8:29Speaker 1: an issue with her on the pod, like I always
- 8:31Speaker 1: kind of came for her a little.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Bit, and I said some things, and then last.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Night she was really loving and fun and supportive and
- 8:39Speaker 1: a girl's girl, and I was like, hold up, was
- 8:42Speaker 1: I just proven wrong?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Like I hate that when you're know it all and
- 8:45Speaker 2: then all of a sudden.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I also really I think Marcus is really good for her.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I feel like he brings out like a very like
- 8:52Speaker 3: sweet and kind of like compassionate side of her, And
- 8:55Speaker 3: so I feel like he's I don't know, he brings
- 8:59Speaker 3: out like a nice side of her. We're seeing that
- 9:02Speaker 3: more often.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yeah, So who do you think you're closest with currently
- 9:07Speaker 1: on the show.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I've always been really close with Gerty. I think we've
- 9:10Speaker 3: always bonded over coming on the show at the same
- 9:13Speaker 3: time being newbies, and we got really close this year
- 9:17Speaker 3: with her going through her whole cancer experience. So, if
- 9:20Speaker 3: I had to say who I'm closest to right now,
- 9:21Speaker 3: I'd say, Gerty.
- 9:33Speaker 1: And what exactly is happening between Russell and Larsa?
- 9:39Speaker 2: Because I see it in the Super Tears.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, So Gerty and Larsa have kind of this ongoing.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I think it's really just a misunderstanding. But it started
- 9:51Speaker 3: last season and it just continues to grow this season,
- 9:54Speaker 3: and then toward the end it just gets worse and
- 9:57Speaker 3: gets worse, and then Larsa said something and Real was
- 10:00Speaker 3: in the room and he finally just he stands up
- 10:03Speaker 3: and he's like, enough's enough. Yeah, because Marcus said he's
- 10:06Speaker 3: soft spoken, so for to get Russell to.
- 10:08Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking to say something.
- 10:10Speaker 3: It was building. It was building all season over a
- 10:15Speaker 3: couple of months.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But why do you think that Gerty originally said that
- 10:18Speaker 1: Larsa was fake when they had always been kind of
- 10:21Speaker 1: in a good place.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I think it had to do with what Gerty saw
- 10:26Speaker 3: behind the scenes. So whenever we were doing a group scene,
- 10:29Speaker 3: it seemed like they were fine. But then you'd see
- 10:31Speaker 3: kind of the interviews and what Larsa would say behind
- 10:34Speaker 3: the scene, and she was like, wait, I thought we
- 10:37Speaker 3: were friends. Why are you like saying this in.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Your interviews about so you think Larsa started it.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I think there were some things that were said that
- 10:45Speaker 3: maybe Gerty didn't realize Larsa felt that way, and then
- 10:48Speaker 3: when she saw the interviews, she was like, ohait, I
- 10:50Speaker 3: didn't realize you thought I talked too much? You know,
- 10:52Speaker 3: why are you saying for me to put a muzzle
- 10:54Speaker 3: on it behind my back? Like that's not something friends say,
- 10:56Speaker 3: you know, friends hear each other out. And then it
- 10:59Speaker 3: was just I think the interview bits that kind of
- 11:01Speaker 3: got to her. And then at our reunion when we
- 11:04Speaker 3: were in New York. You know, Larsa and Alexi are
- 11:07Speaker 3: good friends, and it felt like Larsa obviously had Alexia's
- 11:10Speaker 3: back more than Gerdy, and at some point she told
- 11:12Speaker 3: Gerdy to shut up, and so she was like she
- 11:14Speaker 3: was offended. She was offended. I think it was lots
- 11:16Speaker 3: of little things that happened behind the scenes so.
- 11:19Speaker 2: That she came in already annoyed from last.
- 11:22Speaker 3: From last season, all these little tidbits, and then she
- 11:26Speaker 3: said something on an interview, she called me a page
- 11:29Speaker 3: and something, and then it just like snowballed.
- 11:31Speaker 1: From yeah, and then what is your thought on this
- 11:35Speaker 1: new Alexia? Like I feel like Alexi may be of
- 11:39Speaker 1: spent some time on Twitter seeing what everybody said about
- 11:42Speaker 1: last season, and then she comes in and she's now
- 11:45Speaker 1: making all these emits, Like she came on to Teas
- 11:48Speaker 1: in a pod and I remember her saying I refused
- 11:50Speaker 1: to film with Adriana, and I said, that's bullshit.
- 11:53Speaker 2: If somebody's on your cast, you have to film with everybody.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Don't have a choice like that, Like, and I think
- 11:58Speaker 1: that is so silly to eaven and say that, because
- 12:00Speaker 1: then you're you're asking somebody to be fired.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And do you think she's good for the show or
- 12:04Speaker 2: she's not good for the show.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I think they're both great for the show. I think
- 12:07Speaker 3: both Alexia and Adriana bring something. I was very excited
- 12:11Speaker 3: at the beginning of this year when we had the
- 12:13Speaker 3: Neuevel Horrizontis party and she was like, I'm sorry for
- 12:16Speaker 3: the things I said, you know, because Alexi and I
- 12:18Speaker 3: haven't always gotten along. So I was very hopeful that
- 12:21Speaker 3: this was like Alexia two point zero.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But it's gonna shift.
- 12:24Speaker 3: It shifts well. I like, at the end of the day,
- 12:27Speaker 3: people are who they are, and as much as you
- 12:29Speaker 3: can like regret talking a certain way or doing a
- 12:32Speaker 3: certain thing. If you are innately like that, I think
- 12:34Speaker 3: that those things come out. And as much as she tried,
- 12:37Speaker 3: I think there are moments in the season where you're like, oh,
- 12:39Speaker 3: there's the old Alexia.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Well, I think she really was showing a different side.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And then once she stood up and she started talking
- 12:49Speaker 1: about the apology, the nine minute apology. I could only
- 12:53Speaker 1: get through thirty seconds of it.
- 12:55Speaker 3: It was it came from a good place. You know,
- 12:57Speaker 3: he had good intentions.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So but why do you think a nine have you
- 13:02Speaker 1: ever apologized to somebody for nine minutes straight?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Never he got excited. He was just you know, like
- 13:09Speaker 3: shooting the ship by himself.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:12Speaker 1: But do you think he was actually doing that for
- 13:14Speaker 1: your fiance or do you think he was doing that
- 13:16Speaker 1: for the hate he was getting online?
- 13:19Speaker 3: You know, he actually set Anthony like a handwritten card
- 13:23Speaker 3: and chocolates and flowers, like kind of like being funny,
- 13:27Speaker 3: So it could be I think it was actually like
- 13:28Speaker 3: you know, like he that was off camera, that was
- 13:30Speaker 3: that was private, and so I feel like it was genuine. Well,
- 13:34Speaker 3: I I'm probably a little bit like, oh, I don't
- 13:36Speaker 3: like the way I looked.
- 13:38Speaker 2: How awkward was that moment?
- 13:39Speaker 1: At the end when you guys are all sitting there
- 13:41Speaker 1: and she stands up and she's like, I know, you
- 13:43Speaker 1: guys are all wondering why Todd isn't here, and then
- 13:46Speaker 1: they allude to like it's about to be this breakup
- 13:48Speaker 1: and then she's like, no, we're not getting divorced. Because
- 13:51Speaker 1: it played out extremely awkward, it was weird. I think
- 13:54Speaker 1: the editing was definitely least strange. We were all wondering
- 13:57Speaker 1: where Todd was.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I mean, we still I still don't know why exactly
- 14:00Speaker 3: Todd didn't come to the Ribble's hoarison.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Part is does he ever film with the group throughout
- 14:05Speaker 2: the season?
- 14:07Speaker 3: We do a double date Anthony and I and Alexia
- 14:10Speaker 3: and Todd. So he films with go better than the
- 14:13Speaker 3: last It goes much better than greeno or I mean,
- 14:16Speaker 3: I mean the standards there. He said, I'm like, really low.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Anything was better than that. No, but we actually had
- 14:21Speaker 3: a nice time.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Uh.
- 14:23Speaker 3: He does film a little bit with I think smaller groups.
- 14:27Speaker 3: It's a lot. We're a big group, we're nine, and
- 14:30Speaker 3: then you get our plus ones and it gets loud
- 14:33Speaker 3: really quick.
- 14:33Speaker 1: No, there's there's so many of you guys that you're
- 14:36Speaker 1: the only franchise which you and put Miami and Potomac
- 14:39Speaker 1: are my two favorites, but you're the only franchise where
- 14:42Speaker 1: I have to keep notes of all of the women
- 14:44Speaker 1: and then do like side notes because there's so much
- 14:46Speaker 1: going on, I can't keep track.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But something that I learned last night. Okay, so there
- 14:51Speaker 2: was a scene.
- 14:52Speaker 1: There was a moment last year where Larsis says something
- 14:56Speaker 1: like you slept with everybody in the hospital. But then
- 15:00Speaker 1: I heard who Larsa was referring to actually just had
- 15:04Speaker 1: two names, yes, and that was the whole thing. And
- 15:08Speaker 1: you could have at that point stood up for yourself
- 15:12Speaker 1: and said, you're just saying that because the person that
- 15:15Speaker 1: I did hook up with.
- 15:16Speaker 3: But I didn't know that that was why she was confused.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I thought she was just talking shit to be malicious, right,
- 15:21Speaker 3: Like in my mind, I thought she was just she
- 15:23Speaker 3: knew the truth and was like trying to be an
- 15:25Speaker 3: asshole and hurt me and like exaggerate it. I didn't
- 15:28Speaker 3: realize it was because she had heard it's like Mark Anthony,
- 15:31Speaker 3: and she heard Mark and had heard Anthony, and she
- 15:33Speaker 3: assumed that Mark and Anthony were two different people. So
- 15:37Speaker 3: I didn't know where she was coming from. She met
- 15:39Speaker 3: multiple people because she had thought it was two people.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I don't know, it was really just a missing either way.
- 15:44Speaker 2: How many years ago was it?
- 15:46Speaker 3: I mean, Jesus, I've been out of residency for thirteen years. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 3: even with Anthony for eight. It's been a long time.
- 15:55Speaker 3: And honestly, a lot of my the issues with Larsa
- 15:57Speaker 3: were all misunderstandings, Like we never actually had a real
- 16:00Speaker 3: problem with each other. It was all what I heard,
- 16:03Speaker 3: what someone told me.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It was all like her safe And if you're not
- 16:07Speaker 1: filming other than Gertie, is there somebody on the cast
- 16:11Speaker 1: that you really trust and would open up to and
- 16:14Speaker 1: share your life with.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I think Julia and I are very close. Julia's showing
- 16:18Speaker 3: a different side of herself. She's a little spicy mama
- 16:21Speaker 3: this season. Yeah, I agree, and she's you know, she's
- 16:25Speaker 3: not distanced herself from Adriana, and that's not the right word,
- 16:27Speaker 3: but I think she's spreading her wings in terms of
- 16:30Speaker 3: getting to know some of the other women and forming
- 16:32Speaker 3: new friendships. But we are pretty close. We like to
- 16:35Speaker 3: hang out with Martina. Anthony and Martina get along really well,
- 16:38Speaker 3: and Lisa and I have always gotten along.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think about sharing so like the
- 16:43Speaker 1: way that Lisa shares so much with Jody about Lenny, And.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I mean I wouldn't. I wouldn't operate like that, you know.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I think you have to treat like new relationships kind
- 16:55Speaker 3: of like with special you know, like special, and so
- 16:58Speaker 3: I feel like putting all of the stress of the
- 17:00Speaker 3: divorce and talking about your ex and all that stuff
- 17:03Speaker 3: on a brand new relationship it can be a little heavy, right.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Do you think she's solely angry at Lenny or she
- 17:09Speaker 3: still loves him? I mean, listen, I think he'll always
- 17:13Speaker 3: have a place in her heart no matter what. It's
- 17:15Speaker 3: the father of her kids. They were together for basically
- 17:17Speaker 3: half of her life. Yeah, I'm sure she still loves him.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I don't think she's in love with him. What kind
- 17:23Speaker 3: of vibe did you get from him? You seem like
- 17:25Speaker 3: a pretty good rate of people. You know, he was
- 17:27Speaker 3: always very like he always kept everybody at arm's length.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I didn't get a chance to get to know him
- 17:32Speaker 3: very well, but he was never a doting partner, you know, Jody. Now,
- 17:36Speaker 3: I don't know if you had a chance to meet him,
- 17:38Speaker 3: but he's so affectionate and he gives her so much
- 17:40Speaker 3: attention and he's so complimentary of her. We never saw
- 17:43Speaker 3: that side of Lenny. Lenny always seemed very critical and judgmental,
- 17:48Speaker 3: and I think he thrived on kind of like belittling
- 17:51Speaker 3: her and keeping her in an insecure place.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Well, I am wondering, and I know this is maybe
- 17:56Speaker 1: I shouldn't even say this, but I've noticed that both
- 18:00Speaker 1: Lenny's new person and Lisa both use an incredible amount
- 18:05Speaker 1: of filters on their photos.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Like we all do?
- 18:08Speaker 3: We all do you know we are? We all use
- 18:10Speaker 3: face to face face app Hollywood for number one aggressive,
- 18:15Speaker 3: I'm like, I like cute. Two yeah, don't give me
- 18:19Speaker 3: no now Hollywood does sometimes makes me look good like that.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I know, like it's we all do it.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Whoever face apped our photo last night that all of
- 18:27Speaker 1: us are together? I was like it was somebody went
- 18:29Speaker 1: to Hollywood five number four we love like fimbots. But
- 18:34Speaker 1: I know that you're an antthesiologist. What kind of doctors
- 18:39Speaker 1: do you normally do that for?
- 18:41Speaker 2: So?
- 18:42Speaker 3: I work at an ambulatory center. I do a lot
- 18:45Speaker 3: of sports medicine, so a lot of orthopedic cases, semurology,
- 18:50Speaker 3: reconstructive plastics. We don't do any straightforward plastics, uh guynecologic procedures,
- 18:55Speaker 3: everything that's outpatient. So if you can imagine going in
- 18:58Speaker 3: having a small surgery and going home that same day,
- 19:00Speaker 3: we would do it. Anything that involves staying overnight, you know,
- 19:02Speaker 3: open heart surgery, big abdominal procedures, anything cranial neurosurgery, we
- 19:07Speaker 3: don't do.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Has being on Miami affected your career in any way?
- 19:12Speaker 3: You know, I'm very fortunate. I have been at the
- 19:14Speaker 3: same institution since I was a resident, so I have
- 19:16Speaker 3: been where I'm at since two thousand and one, so
- 19:19Speaker 3: I've been there for over twenty years. Yeah, I mean
- 19:22Speaker 3: they know me very well. They don't let the nonsense
- 19:25Speaker 3: on TV kind of impact the way, you know, they
- 19:28Speaker 3: view me. So I've been very fortunate that I haven't
- 19:31Speaker 3: had any issues at work.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And I have to say Gray's Anatomy has I'm one
- 19:34Speaker 1: of those people that have watched Grey's Anatomy from the start,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and like when I was pregnant, I watched every single
- 19:42Speaker 1: episode to the to the end. One of my daughters
- 19:45Speaker 1: had to have neurosurgery and I remember looking one of
- 19:49Speaker 1: the doctors was really harsh with me, like afterwards, like
- 19:51Speaker 1: said something to me that I was just like, I
- 19:53Speaker 1: was floored, I was crying, I was all the things.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And one of the nurse practitioners said to me, she goes,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I know you've probably watched Gray's Anatomy. That's actually real life.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Like some of these doctors have zero bedside manner and
- 20:09Speaker 1: they're just genius.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Like is that true? Like is it like Scrubs or
- 20:12Speaker 2: Gray's Anatomy or any.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Of there are parts I think, you know, in terms
- 20:17Speaker 3: of personalities, you will see, you know, a range of personalities.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Some surgeons are incredibly smart and intelligent and skills, but
- 20:24Speaker 3: probably lack a little in their social skills, you know,
- 20:26Speaker 3: their inner personal skills are not the best. In terms
- 20:29Speaker 3: of like the workplace relationships, I think residency is a
- 20:33Speaker 3: lot like that. You know, we're all in our twenties.
- 20:36Speaker 3: When we're doing residency and we're working eighty hour work weeks.
- 20:39Speaker 3: You put a bunch of twenty year olds in a
- 20:41Speaker 3: building for eighty hours a week, things are going to happen.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Do you guys actually sleep in the closets like they
- 20:46Speaker 2: do at We.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Have little call rooms, they're not closets, and they have
- 20:51Speaker 3: small cots in them, but yes, we do have small
- 20:53Speaker 3: little rooms where we sleep in.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Is that where it happened with Mark Anthony?
- 21:00Speaker 3: Never happened at work with Mark Anthony. I'm glad we're
- 21:03Speaker 3: using a code name. By the way, when it worked,
- 21:05Speaker 3: it gave you the post. But we did meet during residency.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Okay being Nubie because Miami obviously started years ago.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Now it's back. You guys are finally where you belong
- 21:16Speaker 2: on Bravo and we.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Were like the ugly step had step children of the
- 21:20Speaker 3: franchises like we were even last year. Do you remember
- 21:24Speaker 3: at Bravo Con they sat all the franchises up on
- 21:27Speaker 3: stage and we were like, I know.
- 21:28Speaker 2: You were down on the lower but then I was like,
- 21:32Speaker 2: I was the foot rest.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Why are we down here? So it's nice to finally
- 21:37Speaker 3: be back.
- 21:37Speaker 1: On But do you think the ogs treated you differently
- 21:41Speaker 1: because you got to come in as a housewife and
- 21:44Speaker 1: some of them were friends of or they had these
- 21:45Speaker 1: existing relationships.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I do. I do think a thousand percent, and I
- 21:49Speaker 3: still think that. I think it's gotten better, but for
- 21:52Speaker 3: the first two years, absolutely.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you think that any of the current friend
- 22:08Speaker 2: of should actually carry a mojito?
- 22:11Speaker 3: I definitely think that Adriana and Marisol should carry mojitos.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I you know, our friends of They're at every single event,
- 22:20Speaker 3: they go to every single cast trip, they do interviews,
- 22:23Speaker 3: like they put in a lot of work too. I
- 22:25Speaker 3: think it's like a label at this point because they're
- 22:28Speaker 3: so involved.
- 22:29Speaker 2: But do you think they're so involved because they want
- 22:32Speaker 2: to be good friends or because they want to.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Be I don't. I think if you gave them a
- 22:38Speaker 3: mohito they would drink it. I don't. I mean, I
- 22:43Speaker 3: don't think that they're gonna be like, no, thanks, I
- 22:45Speaker 3: don't want a mohito.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I think it's just a matter of, like, you know,
- 22:49Speaker 3: we we're a big group already. How many people can
- 22:52Speaker 3: you do full stories with in terms of you know,
- 22:54Speaker 3: sharing family life and all those things. You only have
- 22:57Speaker 3: so much time on an episode and so many episodes
- 23:00Speaker 3: that I don't think there's enough time to dive deeper
- 23:02Speaker 3: into other people's stories. I really think that's the biggest
- 23:05Speaker 3: difference is you don't get as much personal story right
- 23:08Speaker 3: from them. And I don't think it's that they don't
- 23:11Speaker 3: want to share it.
- 23:12Speaker 1: But I am feeling like this season, especially like I
- 23:15Speaker 1: feel like last season, Adriana and Marisol both seemed a
- 23:18Speaker 1: little I mean, granted I've seen one episode, but that
- 23:21Speaker 1: they seem more intertwined in the friendships.
- 23:24Speaker 2: And now it kind of seems like they're both on
- 23:27Speaker 2: little islands by themselves.
- 23:29Speaker 3: But I think they put themselves on those little islands.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I don't think it's it was like a decision that
- 23:34Speaker 3: you know. I think Adriana had a lot of issues
- 23:36Speaker 3: obviously with Alexia and Marisol that isolated her a little bit.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And you'll see people start or questioning Marisol's loyalties and.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But are we going to see Alexia versus Marisol. I
- 23:48Speaker 2: feel it. I feel it my bones.
- 23:50Speaker 3: There's there's definitely some questions that arise about that relationship,
- 23:55Speaker 3: for sure, because I could feel it on Girls Trip,
- 23:58Speaker 3: and I feel like last night or whatever night it was,
- 24:01Speaker 3: it was just adding fuel to the fire. And I
- 24:05Speaker 3: think their friendship will be tested for sure.
- 24:07Speaker 2: This year. They're friendship will be tested.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I can say that anytime I've been with any of
- 24:12Speaker 1: the Miami ladies, everybody has been super friendly, open.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I have had the hardest time probably connecting with Marisol.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Really, She's so amazing on social media, like she comments
- 24:23Speaker 3: on everything, night, engaging, friendly, but every time.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm an introvert, so maybe she is too.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I don't know, or maybe she doesn't like me. It
- 24:35Speaker 1: could be maybe, or maybe it's just a personality thing.
- 24:38Speaker 1: But that I'm surprised because she is very outgoing. She
- 24:42Speaker 1: doesn't need much to like get going.
- 24:45Speaker 2: It wasn't just me that she was like that too
- 24:47Speaker 2: last night anyway.
- 24:52Speaker 3: You know, listen, it took me like three years for
- 24:54Speaker 3: her to actually like have a conversation and like enjoy
- 24:57Speaker 3: my company. I don't even know if she actually enjoys
- 24:59Speaker 3: my company. Good luck.
- 25:02Speaker 1: If I get her on, I will ask her if
- 25:04Speaker 1: she enjoys your company doesn't enjoy mine?
- 25:08Speaker 2: Now in closing the wheel, all right, who would you
- 25:17Speaker 2: be scared that could outshade you here?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Like, is there any housewife that you think if you
- 25:23Speaker 1: had to go head to head with any franchise, that
- 25:28Speaker 1: you don't think.
- 25:29Speaker 2: You'd be up to snuff?
- 25:30Speaker 3: You know who I think is incredibly smart and it's
- 25:34Speaker 3: not necessarily shady. I just think she's always so witty
- 25:36Speaker 3: and intelligent as heather to brow.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I feel like.
- 25:40Speaker 3: We are very similarly. Like I think we're both very
- 25:46Speaker 3: cerebral and I think that.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I I think.
- 25:51Speaker 3: People that are louder, there's people that are more aggressive,
- 25:54Speaker 3: But I think we have.
- 25:55Speaker 1: A very similar When I see certain things that you're doing,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm like, I can see that she's in her head
- 25:59Speaker 1: right now and she's thinking this through.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Like, I don't think that you're a person that acts.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I'm really not impulsive. I try not to be impulsive.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Sometimes I am, you know, sometimes you poke.
- 26:10Speaker 2: The bear and then it just comes out, like when
- 26:12Speaker 2: you threw down the black card.
- 26:13Speaker 3: That was complete impulsive. That was just like, what do
- 26:15Speaker 3: you mean? I can't ask my question. I'm gonna buy
- 26:17Speaker 3: this guy's time.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Oh I know what else? Other question I forgot? Go
- 26:21Speaker 2: for it. Do you think you or your dad is
- 26:23Speaker 2: gonna have the baby?
- 26:24Speaker 3: First? Oh, I don't think my dad is pregnant yet.
- 26:28Speaker 3: He hasn't told me that yet, so I'm thinking he
- 26:30Speaker 3: answers me. Oh my god, the things my dad puts
- 26:32Speaker 3: me through this season, guys, you have no idea hold
- 26:35Speaker 3: on does he have somebody he wants to impregnate at
- 26:37Speaker 3: this point he does?
- 26:39Speaker 2: How old is she?
- 26:41Speaker 3: Like younger than me? If you have to watch, because
- 26:45Speaker 3: you'll see the whole thing go down this season.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Do you think being on TV has changed your dad
- 26:50Speaker 2: or he's always been that way.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I mean he's always been a big personality, but he
- 26:55Speaker 3: loves I think like he thrives in this yea, yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 3: you know, I think he steps it up. And the
- 27:01Speaker 3: other day he called me. He's like, oh my gosh,
- 27:02Speaker 3: someone reached out to me. They're filming a movie in
- 27:05Speaker 3: Miami and they want me to be in the movie.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, Dad, what's this movie about. He's like,
- 27:11Speaker 3: like an eighties drug lord. I'm like, oh my lord,
- 27:14Speaker 3: are you kidding me? You're gonna be a You're gonna
- 27:17Speaker 3: be some eighties drug lord. Like really, you guys, make
- 27:19Speaker 3: sure to go down this rabbit hole with me. Please
- 27:22Speaker 3: don't thank.
- 27:22Speaker 2: You so much, doctor Nicole Nikki you a new name
- 27:25Speaker 2: for thank you so much. We appreciate you.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Thank you
