- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, And as always, I invite
- 0:06Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. Today, Heavenly Father,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we come before you with hearts that are hurting. Some
- 0:15Speaker 1: of us are under attack from every direction. We're battling disappointments.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We're carrying heartbreak, facing unexpected setbacks, and trying to find
- 0:25Speaker 1: the strength to keep moving forward. Lord, there are wounds
- 0:29Speaker 1: that people can see, and there are wounds hidden deep
- 0:33Speaker 1: within our souls. But Father, nothing about our pain is
- 0:37Speaker 1: hidden from you. Lord. You know what it feels like
- 0:41Speaker 1: to be rejected. You know what it feels like to
- 0:43Speaker 1: be misunderstood. You know what it feels like to be
- 0:46Speaker 1: betrayed and disappointed. So today we bring every broken piece
- 0:52Speaker 1: of our hearts to you. We bring the tears we've
- 0:55Speaker 1: cried in private. We bring the questions we don't have
- 0:58Speaker 1: answers to. We bring burdens that we've carried for far
- 1:02Speaker 1: too long. Father, when we're under attack, help us to
- 1:05Speaker 1: remember that you are our refuge and our fortress. When
- 1:09Speaker 1: the enemy tries to fill our minds with fear and
- 1:12Speaker 1: discouragement and hopelessness, remind us that you are greater than
- 1:15Speaker 1: every attack. You are greater than every obstacle. You are
- 1:19Speaker 1: greater than every weapon formed against us. Lord, heal the heartbreak.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Heal the disappointment that came from doors that close unexpectedly,
- 1:28Speaker 1: relationships that ended painfully, prayers that seem unanswered, and dreams
- 1:34Speaker 1: that did not unfold the way we expected. Father, there
- 1:38Speaker 1: are some hurts the words cannot describe, but you understand
- 1:42Speaker 1: every one of them. God, strengthen us where we feel weak,
- 1:47Speaker 1: when we want to give up. You hold us up
- 1:50Speaker 1: when we feel defeated. Remind us that the battle belongs
- 1:53Speaker 1: to you. When our faith feels fragile, Become the strength
- 1:57Speaker 1: we cannot find within ourselves. Oh fine, God, guard our
- 2:01Speaker 1: hearts from bitterness, Protect us from becoming hardened by what
- 2:06Speaker 1: has hurt us. Help us not to allow disappointment to
- 2:09Speaker 1: steal our hope or heartbreak to steal our joy. Instead,
- 2:13Speaker 1: let these painful moments drive us closer to you. Oh Lord,
- 2:18Speaker 1: remind us that attacks don't mean abandonment. Difficult seasons don't
- 2:24Speaker 1: mean that you've left us. Even now, while we're walking
- 2:27Speaker 1: through the valleys, God, you are walking with us. You
- 2:30Speaker 1: are fighting battles we can see you're working behind the
- 2:33Speaker 1: scenes and ways we don't even understand. So Father, restore
- 2:37Speaker 1: what has been broken, renew what has been depleted, revive
- 2:41Speaker 1: what has grown weary, and give us beauty for ashes,
- 2:44Speaker 1: strength for weakness, and hope for tomorrow. God, Today we
- 2:48Speaker 1: declare that this attack will now destroy us. This disappointment
- 2:52Speaker 1: will not define us, and this heartbreak. God will not
- 2:57Speaker 1: have the final word. Your love, your grace, and your
- 3:01Speaker 1: power will carry us through. Thank you Lord for being
- 3:04Speaker 1: our healer, Thank you Lord for being our defendant, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: thank you Lord for being our strength. We trust you
- 3:11Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Amen, Amen, and Amen.
