- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawtral Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day. If you'd become the
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hawtrail Energy you want to a track. Hello you guys,
- 0:27Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode. Today is most likely Thursday
- 0:31Speaker 1: because with vologmiss going on, I'm posting every second day
- 0:36Speaker 1: on Instagram and TikTok, along with obviously getting work things
- 0:40Speaker 1: done on top of doing stuff for the podcast. So
- 0:43Speaker 1: I apologize if this is up a day late, but
- 0:45Speaker 1: right now we're going in with the mindset of just
- 0:48Speaker 1: getting an episode up a week. So if it's a
- 0:50Speaker 1: daily or a few hours late, you know why. It's
- 0:52Speaker 1: because I'm literally running around like a wild woman, just
- 0:56Speaker 1: trying to get things submitted and things just up running
- 1:00Speaker 1: for my job. But I always feel good showing up
- 1:04Speaker 1: on the mic and talking with you guys, because obviously
- 1:06Speaker 1: it's something that I look forward to every single week.
- 1:08Speaker 1: We have a very exciting episode today because first off,
- 1:12Speaker 1: it's a new month. Happy December. Cannot believe we are
- 1:15Speaker 1: in the last month of twenty twenty five. We have
- 1:17Speaker 1: a lot of exciting episodes coming up this month. I
- 1:19Speaker 1: definitely love to talk a lot about our plans for
- 1:22Speaker 1: twenty twenty six and how we're going to end our
- 1:25Speaker 1: year off with reviewing our goals, reviewing the things that
- 1:29Speaker 1: we accomplish for ourselves to end off such an amazing year,
- 1:33Speaker 1: whether it's small goals or big goals. I think every
- 1:35Speaker 1: single year we walk away with something to be so
- 1:38Speaker 1: proud of and something that we did for ourselves or
- 1:40Speaker 1: something that we achieved. So definitely going to be a
- 1:43Speaker 1: lot of talking about reflecting from twenty twenty five things
- 1:46Speaker 1: we're going to be doing in twenty twenty six all that. So,
- 1:50Speaker 1: as you can see in today's episode, we are going
- 1:52Speaker 1: to be talking about glow up habits and rituals I'm
- 1:55Speaker 1: taking into twenty twenty six. And I actually have twenty
- 1:58Speaker 1: six things here that I list it off, all these
- 2:02Speaker 1: things that I either do daily or things that I
- 2:04Speaker 1: discovered this year that I'm obsessed with that I want
- 2:07Speaker 1: to keep doing throughout twenty twenty six because I truly
- 2:10Speaker 1: feel like these things that I do on a daily
- 2:13Speaker 1: basis have made me feel so good on the inside
- 2:17Speaker 1: and out When I do these things. I feel good
- 2:19Speaker 1: going into my day. I feel productive, my energy levels
- 2:22Speaker 1: are good. All that like just things that I really
- 2:25Speaker 1: try to strive to do every single day that when
- 2:27Speaker 1: I know I'm doing these things, I feel good mentally,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I look good physically, I just feel like my absolute
- 2:34Speaker 1: best self. And so there's going to be a lot
- 2:35Speaker 1: of these things that I've talked about obviously in previous episodes.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But the point is that this is like my ideal
- 2:40Speaker 1: list of the twenty six things that I'm taking into
- 2:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty six that you guys can reference if you
- 2:47Speaker 1: ever are in a funk or you need some motivation
- 2:50Speaker 1: when it comes to becoming that version of yourself that
- 2:53Speaker 1: you want to become. You have this episode to look
- 2:56Speaker 1: back at, listen kind of just remind yourself these things
- 2:59Speaker 1: to do to make yourself feel good, to make yourself
- 3:03Speaker 1: feel like you're that person that you've always wanted to become,
- 3:06Speaker 1: all that this version that you just really want to be.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So this is why we're gonna do this episode. It's
- 3:11Speaker 1: going to be the perfect episode to listen to to
- 3:14Speaker 1: look back on whenever you're feeling like you need the
- 3:16Speaker 1: motivation or boost of confidence to know that these little
- 3:20Speaker 1: things truly do make a huge impact in your day
- 3:22Speaker 1: to day life. So before we even get into talking
- 3:25Speaker 1: about the rituals and habits of going into twenty twenty six,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I want to give a little update on my end.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Lots of stuff going on with logmis obviously, so that's
- 3:33Speaker 1: been my main priority. If you guys didn't know, I
- 3:36Speaker 1: am doing vlogmis on TikTok and Instagram where I film
- 3:39Speaker 1: basically full day in the life from six am to
- 3:41Speaker 1: ten pm. I do every second day because if I
- 3:44Speaker 1: did every single day like that, it would definitely be
- 3:46Speaker 1: very difficult for me to manage other things. There are
- 3:49Speaker 1: some people that do it for all twenty five days,
- 3:51Speaker 1: but a lot of those people only manage one social
- 3:54Speaker 1: media account, whether it's just TikTok or Instagram, just YouTube,
- 3:57Speaker 1: or just have a podcast. Because I like to do
- 4:01Speaker 1: it all and I like to be active on all platforms,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I really take a step back and I realize, Okay,
- 4:07Speaker 1: what can I actually do that's still involved with vlogmiss.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But I'm not overdoing it and I'm not burning myself
- 4:15Speaker 1: out while trying to manage other things like the podcast YouTube.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You know, obviously, we have the house going on, which
- 4:21Speaker 1: has been a huge thing. That's been a huge time
- 4:23Speaker 1: consumer for us with designing this house. So I'm doing
- 4:26Speaker 1: twelve days of log miss where I post a full
- 4:28Speaker 1: vlog every second day and if you guys listen to
- 4:31Speaker 1: the last episode I mentioned it, but I do a
- 4:33Speaker 1: giveaway for every vlog miss where you have the chance
- 4:36Speaker 1: to win a gift card. So if you don't follow
- 4:39Speaker 1: me on social media and you want to enter the giveaway,
- 4:42Speaker 1: please make sure to follow me. I have my handles
- 4:45Speaker 1: in the description down below. So obviously that's been going on.
- 4:48Speaker 1: As I said the house update, we have foundation, which
- 4:51Speaker 1: is super exciting. I just posted a YouTube blog if
- 4:54Speaker 1: you want to go watch that there. I have a
- 4:56Speaker 1: live reaction of me actually seeing that we have foundation.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And I was not expect that at all. I went
- 5:01Speaker 1: with the intention of going to see the lot like
- 5:04Speaker 1: literally nothing was going to be done, like no progress whatsoever,
- 5:07Speaker 1: just because we're still so early on in the journey
- 5:11Speaker 1: that I just didn't think that we would have anything up.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I didn't think anything would be up honestly till January.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So that was a really nice surprise and I just
- 5:19Speaker 1: was so excited to see some progress and we have
- 5:22Speaker 1: a lot of deadlines coming up for this month for
- 5:25Speaker 1: the house along with January, so I do think these
- 5:28Speaker 1: next nine months are going to go by really fast.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But I'm very excited to share everything with you guys,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and I've been sharing little sneak peaks of what our
- 5:36Speaker 1: designers have done for certain rooms in the house. So yeah, again,
- 5:40Speaker 1: if you want to see some sneak peaks of the house,
- 5:42Speaker 1: it's all on my social media. I wanted to talk
- 5:45Speaker 1: about some December goals because I used to do monthly
- 5:49Speaker 1: goals where I would share with you guys things that
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm making a priority this month or each month that
- 5:54Speaker 1: I go into and I feel like I haven't done
- 5:56Speaker 1: that in such a long time. And my December goals
- 5:59Speaker 1: are very different than goals that I've had in the past.
- 6:02Speaker 1: A lot of the goals that I typically do are
- 6:04Speaker 1: health related, but I kind of wanted to change it
- 6:05Speaker 1: up for this month specifically because I feel like December
- 6:09Speaker 1: is such a special month when it comes to the holidays. Obviously,
- 6:14Speaker 1: we try our best to spend as much time with
- 6:16Speaker 1: family and friends, and you know, maybe if you you know,
- 6:20Speaker 1: don't spend time with family, spending time with just people
- 6:22Speaker 1: who you truly care about, or just friends that you
- 6:26Speaker 1: might be super close with. I think it's so important
- 6:28Speaker 1: to be surrounded by people that you care for. And
- 6:32Speaker 1: this December, one of my main goals is to spend
- 6:35Speaker 1: as much time with friends, family, honestly just enjoying more
- 6:39Speaker 1: quality time with my husband. Zach and I were actually
- 6:42Speaker 1: talking about this last week, and we were just talking
- 6:45Speaker 1: about how we are both so work driven. And I
- 6:48Speaker 1: love that about Zach and I love that about myself,
- 6:50Speaker 1: is that we both are very work oriented. But sometimes
- 6:53Speaker 1: I think we kind of forget that we do also
- 6:55Speaker 1: have a relationship that we need to obviously make a priority.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And you know, so I feel like every relationship kind
- 7:01Speaker 1: of goes through funks where you kind of forget that, oh,
- 7:05Speaker 1: we should probably keep dating, or oh, we should probably
- 7:07Speaker 1: still do fun things together. Right. So Zach and I
- 7:09Speaker 1: had a bit of a conversation last week and we're like,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you know what, we need to go back on dates,
- 7:12Speaker 1: Like when was the last time we went on a date.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So we ended up going out for dinner last weekend
- 7:16Speaker 1: for the first time since like August. That sounds so bad,
- 7:19Speaker 1: but obviously he's been super busy with work, and we've
- 7:22Speaker 1: obviously been saving money for the house, so we've been
- 7:24Speaker 1: kind of avoiding, you know, going out for dinner and
- 7:26Speaker 1: all that. But we're like, you know what, we need
- 7:27Speaker 1: to get back into it, even if it's like dates
- 7:30Speaker 1: that don't involve like a heavy price tag, right, Like
- 7:32Speaker 1: it could be the smallest thing like going to the
- 7:34Speaker 1: movie theaters, going bowling, going mini putting, Like just think
- 7:38Speaker 1: of like the little things that could be fun to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do to get out of the house and all that.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I feel like when you live with someone, obviously, like yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 1: it's great you get to live with your partner or
- 7:46Speaker 1: your husband, like it's obviously the best, but things almost
- 7:50Speaker 1: feel very like repetitive because like you do the same
- 7:52Speaker 1: thing every night. You cook dinner together, you clean up,
- 7:54Speaker 1: you go to bed, and that's that. Like there's nothing
- 7:56Speaker 1: that's really spending quality time together, if that makes sense.
- 7:59Speaker 1: So we both wanted to make it a priority this
- 8:01Speaker 1: month to get back into dating, you know, spending time
- 8:05Speaker 1: with family, friends, doing fun things at home like building
- 8:08Speaker 1: a gingerbread house, watching Christmas movies together, all that. So
- 8:12Speaker 1: something that we're really making a priority this month is
- 8:15Speaker 1: spending more time with friends, family and quality time with
- 8:18Speaker 1: my husband. Another one is starting to plan out my
- 8:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty six vision board, my goals. What do I
- 8:24Speaker 1: kind of envision for my new year. So that's definitely
- 8:28Speaker 1: something that I want to start planning. Once Christmas is
- 8:31Speaker 1: over with December twenty sixth or twenty seventh, I'm going
- 8:34Speaker 1: to be on Pinterest, I'm going to be scrolling. I'm
- 8:36Speaker 1: going to start planning out things that I want to
- 8:39Speaker 1: achieve for myself for the new year. So that's something
- 8:41Speaker 1: I always try and make a priority in December. And
- 8:43Speaker 1: then my last December goal is really just focusing on
- 8:46Speaker 1: not burning out and overdoing it this month. This month
- 8:49Speaker 1: is always very busy for me, and I feel like
- 8:52Speaker 1: I always overdo it and then I kind of have
- 8:54Speaker 1: a bit of a crashout. So I really want to
- 8:56Speaker 1: make sure that I prioritize the little things that obviously
- 9:01Speaker 1: manage my stress levels, help with my anxiety, all that
- 9:04Speaker 1: taking time to do stretching, taking time to do a
- 9:07Speaker 1: little bit of meditation, like just finding ways to really
- 9:10Speaker 1: calm myself down, going for walks, like remembering to focus
- 9:14Speaker 1: on myself and not too much on the work overload
- 9:17Speaker 1: or whatever. So really just trying to focus on my
- 9:20Speaker 1: mental health this month, and yeah, that's kind of like
- 9:22Speaker 1: my December goals. If you haven't done goals for yourself
- 9:25Speaker 1: for the month, this is your reminder to do so,
- 9:28Speaker 1: even if it's just writing it out in your journal,
- 9:30Speaker 1: It's so important to do monthly goals, and I just
- 9:33Speaker 1: wanted to bring that back into today's episode as a
- 9:35Speaker 1: little reminder to set goals for yourself every single month. Okay,
- 9:39Speaker 1: so now let's get into the most exciting part of
- 9:42Speaker 1: this episode, which is talking about habits and rituals and
- 9:45Speaker 1: taking into twenty twenty six. So I've found twenty six
- 9:49Speaker 1: things that I've done consistently or things that I've discovered
- 9:54Speaker 1: this year that I truly feel like makes me feel
- 9:57Speaker 1: like the hottest version of myself. I feel good while
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm doing it. It feels like it's the version that
- 10:02Speaker 1: I've always wanted to become. And I feel like doing
- 10:05Speaker 1: these things, either daily or weekly or monthly, has truly
- 10:09Speaker 1: made me feel like the best version of myself. The
- 10:11Speaker 1: first one being putting on makeup and dressing cute for
- 10:14Speaker 1: myself every single day. This is something that I've talked
- 10:17Speaker 1: about many, many times, especially in episodes when it comes
- 10:19Speaker 1: to like the winter uglies, or just wanting to have
- 10:22Speaker 1: a mini glow up or just feel good about yourself.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It is amazing how good you feel every single day
- 10:28Speaker 1: when you actually put a little bit of effort in yourself.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I feel like the days where I feel really low
- 10:34Speaker 1: and just like not myself. It's usually the days where
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm still in my pajamas all day, I haven't done
- 10:40Speaker 1: my skincare, I haven't done my makeup. I literally feel
- 10:42Speaker 1: like I look like a beg of shit, like not
- 10:44Speaker 1: gonna lie. Those are days where I don't feel motivated.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I don't want to do anything in the house. I
- 10:49Speaker 1: just want to curl up on the couch and do nothing.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But when I actually force myself to go take a shower,
- 10:54Speaker 1: do a little bit of skincare, put literally the smallest
- 10:57Speaker 1: amount of makeup on. I'm talking like a little bit
- 10:58Speaker 1: of concealer, a little bit of a a little bit
- 11:01Speaker 1: of blush, put some lipliner on, add a little bit
- 11:03Speaker 1: of a lip gloss, and you're good. I don't wear muscara,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I don't wear foundation. I literally do the most minimal makeup.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But I feel so confident in myself when I do
- 11:13Speaker 1: put the effort of putting on that little bit of
- 11:15Speaker 1: makeup and then obviously putting on a cute set, whether
- 11:18Speaker 1: it's a matching workout set or a matching sweat set,
- 11:21Speaker 1: or again putting on a pair of genes with a
- 11:24Speaker 1: white basic tea. Like literally as simple as that. But
- 11:27Speaker 1: I feel good going into my day and I feel
- 11:29Speaker 1: more productive when I actually put the effort in myself
- 11:32Speaker 1: because I feel good, I feel like I look good,
- 11:35Speaker 1: I feel more confident. So it's a small little thing,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but that's one thing that I feel like has made
- 11:39Speaker 1: a huge difference in my year is actually putting in
- 11:42Speaker 1: the effort every single day of doing those little things
- 11:45Speaker 1: to make me feel good about myself. Another thing that
- 11:48Speaker 1: has changed my life, and this is something I've taken
- 11:51Speaker 1: into many years, which is waking up early and actually
- 11:54Speaker 1: focusing on myself before I start my work day. If
- 11:57Speaker 1: you are not a morning person, maybe this is your
- 11:59Speaker 1: sign to be come one. I truly feel like the
- 12:02Speaker 1: mornings are the most crucial part of your day. Spending
- 12:06Speaker 1: an hour, two hours, thirty minutes. It doesn't really matter
- 12:10Speaker 1: finding any time in your morning to do whether it's
- 12:13Speaker 1: one thing or two things. For yourself where you feel
- 12:16Speaker 1: like you've started your day in a great way. I
- 12:19Speaker 1: personally feel like the way you start your day is
- 12:22Speaker 1: the way that your day's going to go. It could
- 12:24Speaker 1: be making your bed, it could be dedicating ten minutes
- 12:27Speaker 1: every single morning to meditation. It could be reading a
- 12:31Speaker 1: few pages in your book before you start your day.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Whatever makes you feel good that you did before you
- 12:37Speaker 1: started your day. You consistently do that for a week,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you're gonna feel so much better about yourself. You're gonna
- 12:43Speaker 1: feel so good going into each day. So I talk
- 12:46Speaker 1: about it so many times about how I think mornings
- 12:48Speaker 1: are so crucial to have a morning routine, to actually
- 12:51Speaker 1: focus on doing the little things that make you feel
- 12:53Speaker 1: really good before you start your day. Maybe you're the
- 12:56Speaker 1: kind of person that doesn't like to work out in
- 12:57Speaker 1: the morning, that's so fine, But there's other things that
- 13:00Speaker 1: you can do in the morning to set yourself up
- 13:02Speaker 1: for success. Whether it's journaling, planning, like, there's so many
- 13:05Speaker 1: little things that you could do in your morning that
- 13:08Speaker 1: doesn't involve working out. It could be going on a walk,
- 13:11Speaker 1: a ten minute walk, like literally, it could be the
- 13:12Speaker 1: smallest things, but all those things that you're doing before
- 13:16Speaker 1: you start your work day. As I said, it could
- 13:18Speaker 1: be one to two things. It doesn't really matter. You're
- 13:20Speaker 1: still doing that for yourself, and you're doing that before
- 13:23Speaker 1: you start your work day. So this is your sign
- 13:25Speaker 1: to maybe wake up thirty minutes earlier than you typically would,
- 13:27Speaker 1: focusing on things that make you feel good about yourself
- 13:30Speaker 1: before starting your workday. This one kind of goes hand
- 13:32Speaker 1: in hand with the one I just talked about, which
- 13:34Speaker 1: is obviously waking up early and doing little things that
- 13:37Speaker 1: make you feel good before you start your work day.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But I feel like making my bed every single morning
- 13:43Speaker 1: has changed my life. Like I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I feel like I feel clean, I feel organized when
- 13:50Speaker 1: I make my bed every single morning. My husband looks
- 13:52Speaker 1: at me like I'm crazy. Sunday morning, I'm like, okay,
- 13:55Speaker 1: get get your bed out of bed, like I'm making
- 13:56Speaker 1: the bed, and he's like, what if I'm gone on
- 13:59Speaker 1: a train and I come home after a week, is
- 14:01Speaker 1: my bed made? Absolutely not. My husband does not make
- 14:04Speaker 1: the bed. I get upset because I'm like, why didn't
- 14:07Speaker 1: you make the bed? Like it takes five minutes to
- 14:10Speaker 1: literally make the bed, And I'm telling you right now
- 14:13Speaker 1: I've heard Mel Robbins talk about this so many times
- 14:15Speaker 1: on our podcast episode. But making your bed is the
- 14:19Speaker 1: smallest task, but it's one thing that you could do
- 14:22Speaker 1: every single morning that makes you feel like you started
- 14:25Speaker 1: your day in the right way. My mindset immediately makes
- 14:28Speaker 1: me feel like, Okay, I made my bed, I'm already
- 14:30Speaker 1: feeling productive. I'm putting in the effort to make my
- 14:33Speaker 1: space feel organized and clean. Sometimes we'll even spend like
- 14:36Speaker 1: ten minutes in the morning after I make my bed,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I put on my workout clothes five ten minutes before
- 14:40Speaker 1: Pilate's class. Sometimes I'll even just do a quick tidy up,
- 14:43Speaker 1: like making sure the house is all set to go,
- 14:45Speaker 1: you know, putting away dishes that we wash maybe the
- 14:47Speaker 1: night before, Like making sure the house is all tidy.
- 14:50Speaker 1: That way, I don't have to worry about it later
- 14:51Speaker 1: in the day. I feel like it just gives good
- 14:54Speaker 1: energy going into my day when I feel like my
- 14:57Speaker 1: space is organized and when my bed is made. So
- 15:00Speaker 1: it's a small little task, but I do think it
- 15:02Speaker 1: makes a huge difference going into my day. Another thing
- 15:05Speaker 1: that I love that I'm taking into twenty twenty six
- 15:07Speaker 1: is daily ice rolling. I loved ice roll my face.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You could order something from Amazon for literally twelve dollars.
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's not expensive, but I don't like to do the
- 15:17Speaker 1: whole like dip your face in ice water. That's not
- 15:20Speaker 1: for me. I've also heard mixed reviews about that, where
- 15:23Speaker 1: people are saying that it's not really the best for
- 15:25Speaker 1: your skin, like putting your face on direct ice cubes.
- 15:29Speaker 1: But I will say that if you get an ice roller,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you take it out of the fraser five minutes before
- 15:33Speaker 1: you use it. I usually like to rub it on
- 15:35Speaker 1: my hand before I apply it to my face, just
- 15:37Speaker 1: so that it's a little bit warmer, because obviously it's
- 15:39Speaker 1: pretty cold. But I feel like my face has looked
- 15:42Speaker 1: so much more defined, and it deep puffs so much.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Because when you wake up early, or when you wake
- 15:48Speaker 1: up in general, when you're sleeping obviously for like seven
- 15:51Speaker 1: eight hours or nine hours, however long you sleep, you
- 15:54Speaker 1: feel a little swollen. Sometimes I don't know about you guys,
- 15:56Speaker 1: but sometimes I wake up and my eyes are a
- 15:57Speaker 1: little puffy, my cheeks are just looking a little swollen.
- 16:01Speaker 1: So I find when I do an ice roll every
- 16:03Speaker 1: single day, I just feel like it literally depuffs my
- 16:06Speaker 1: face immediately and the bonus to it if you do
- 16:09Speaker 1: wake up early. I feel like it kind of wakes
- 16:11Speaker 1: me up because obviously cold compress on your face is
- 16:14Speaker 1: going to wake you up. So I love doing this.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I do this every single day. I love it so much.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But again, this is something that you can get on
- 16:21Speaker 1: Amazon for like twelve bucks. It's not expensive, but it's
- 16:23Speaker 1: just a daily habit that I truly love that I
- 16:26Speaker 1: will be taking into twenty twenty six. All Right, this
- 16:28Speaker 1: next one, you guys are gonna be like Kaylee. You
- 16:30Speaker 1: talk about this all the time. We get it. It
- 16:32Speaker 1: is so good for you. Blah blah blah. Okay, Yes,
- 16:35Speaker 1: walking eight to ten thousand steps a day has changed
- 16:38Speaker 1: my life. I will say it is truly the best
- 16:41Speaker 1: feeling ever when you actually hit your step goal for
- 16:43Speaker 1: the day. Too. But I've always been that kind of
- 16:45Speaker 1: person growing up where I felt like I always had
- 16:48Speaker 1: to do intense cardio always, So I always felt like
- 16:51Speaker 1: I had to go on a treadmill and sprint for
- 16:54Speaker 1: ten minutes, or go on a spinning bike and spin
- 16:57Speaker 1: for an hour. I will not lie. I hate intense cardio.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I did it because I thought I had to do it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I thought Okay, Well, if I want to feel my
- 17:06Speaker 1: absolute best self, I need to sweat my butt off
- 17:09Speaker 1: and do these really high intense workouts. These past two years,
- 17:13Speaker 1: I've discovered how important walking is and how walking can
- 17:17Speaker 1: be your cardio throughout the week, and I personally feel
- 17:21Speaker 1: like walking has just been the best way to clear
- 17:25Speaker 1: my mind to get outside. It's truly a free therapy
- 17:29Speaker 1: session in my opinion, like literally just walking outside listening
- 17:31Speaker 1: to a podcast, like right there and then I'm already
- 17:33Speaker 1: feeling so much better going into my day knowing that
- 17:35Speaker 1: I've gotten fresh air, I've gotten to walk in all that.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I used to be a spin co girly Okay, loved
- 17:41Speaker 1: my spinning classes. Recently, I haven't been loving it. I
- 17:45Speaker 1: don't know why I've stepped away from it. I have
- 17:47Speaker 1: only done pilates and strength workouts at home for like
- 17:50Speaker 1: the past two to three months. I would say, but
- 17:53Speaker 1: I would say spinning is considered a hit workout. Obviously,
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's a cardio session. You're pushing through it for an hour,
- 17:58Speaker 1: And I would just say these past six months, I
- 18:01Speaker 1: was just not feeling it anymore. I just felt like
- 18:03Speaker 1: I was forcing myself to go just to get a
- 18:05Speaker 1: cardio session in it wasn't something that fulfilled me, and
- 18:09Speaker 1: walking was something that I feel like this year specifically
- 18:13Speaker 1: really transformed how I felt about walking. I got a
- 18:16Speaker 1: walking pad, you know. I spend thirty minutes daily going
- 18:19Speaker 1: on it, sometimes an hour. Sometimes I'll do two different
- 18:22Speaker 1: thirty minute times, Like I'll do a thirty minute walk
- 18:25Speaker 1: in the morning at thirty minute walk in the afternoon.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Like it really allows me just to destress, take my
- 18:31Speaker 1: mind off of things, just walking, relaxing again, still getting
- 18:35Speaker 1: a bit of cardio in. But yeah, walking has changed
- 18:38Speaker 1: my life. I'm telling you right now, if you're not walking,
- 18:41Speaker 1: get on a treadmill and walk. It is life changing,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and it's cardio. It's the easiest way to get cardio in.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And I feel so good doing it, and I don't
- 18:49Speaker 1: feel the stress of doing you know, a hit workout
- 18:52Speaker 1: or a hit cardio session. I feel like walking is
- 18:55Speaker 1: the best form of movement for literally anything, and anyone
- 18:59Speaker 1: can do it so easy and you feel good doing it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Another habit that I love that I'll be taking into
- 19:05Speaker 1: twenty twenty six is doing workouts that actually make me
- 19:08Speaker 1: feel good and things that'll actually stick to because if
- 19:12Speaker 1: you start working out at a plate studio and you
- 19:14Speaker 1: hate pilates, please stop it. Do not do it if
- 19:17Speaker 1: you don't love it. You want to wake up every
- 19:19Speaker 1: single morning, or you want to wake up every single
- 19:21Speaker 1: day going into your workout class and actually enjoying it.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You want to say that you love what you're doing,
- 19:26Speaker 1: you love the movement, you love the way you feel.
- 19:29Speaker 1: If you don't love the workout, you're not going to
- 19:31Speaker 1: be consistent with it. You're not going to have a
- 19:33Speaker 1: routine for yourself to do on a daily basis. So
- 19:36Speaker 1: this is your sign to maybe try different workout classes out,
- 19:39Speaker 1: try different things. So if you're not loving what you're doing,
- 19:41Speaker 1: currently find something that you'll love. Because when you love
- 19:45Speaker 1: a workout so much, that's when you're actually consistent with
- 19:48Speaker 1: it and you're actually motivated throughout the week to do it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I get so many questions asking how do you do it?
- 19:53Speaker 1: How are you always feel motivated? And obviously I have
- 19:56Speaker 1: my days where I don't feel motivated, But the one
- 19:58Speaker 1: thing that keeps me going is knowing I wake up
- 20:00Speaker 1: every single morning, I do the workout that I truly
- 20:03Speaker 1: enjoy and that I truly love, and I can go
- 20:06Speaker 1: into each day, knowing that I feel good about what
- 20:09Speaker 1: I did, Like I don't think about it all day,
- 20:11Speaker 1: thinking like, oh, I hated that workout class. I wasn't
- 20:13Speaker 1: enjoying it, and then guess what, I'm probably not going
- 20:15Speaker 1: to go the next week because I didn't enjoy it.
- 20:17Speaker 1: When you actually enjoy it, you're motivated to book the class,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you want to go again, you want to pay for
- 20:22Speaker 1: a membership. You start meeting friends, you start getting close
- 20:25Speaker 1: with the instructors, you start loving the community that you're in,
- 20:27Speaker 1: like it's an environment that you'll actually enjoy going to,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and you'll feel motivated to go because you actually enjoy
- 20:35Speaker 1: the people you're surrounded with, the workout that you're doing.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't explain it, but I feel
- 20:40Speaker 1: like that is the best way to describe it. Is
- 20:43Speaker 1: when you create a workout routine for yourself and you
- 20:45Speaker 1: go to workout classes that you actually enjoy, you'll actually
- 20:47Speaker 1: stick to it and you'll actually achieve your goals. So
- 20:51Speaker 1: that's that. Another thing is taking supplements that support my
- 20:54Speaker 1: gut and overall health. I think this is something that
- 20:57Speaker 1: some people skip out on, and I think it makes
- 20:59Speaker 1: a huge difference in your mindset and how you feel.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I personally feel like since I started taking a prebiotic
- 21:05Speaker 1: and probiotic every single day along with some colostrum, I
- 21:10Speaker 1: feel like I've been so good mentally, I feel again
- 21:14Speaker 1: like I have more energy. I feel like, I don't know,
- 21:17Speaker 1: like I go into my day with a better mindset
- 21:20Speaker 1: knowing that I'm taking these supplements to better my health.
- 21:24Speaker 1: And the gut plays such an important role in so
- 21:27Speaker 1: many ways, in your skin, in your hair, like everything
- 21:30Speaker 1: is related to our immune system, So you know, I
- 21:33Speaker 1: think putting your gut first is a huge priority, so
- 21:36Speaker 1: finding ways to support it, like taking supplements, talking to
- 21:40Speaker 1: your doctor. I just had a doctor's appointment yesterday. I
- 21:43Speaker 1: literally brought my supplements in because I'm like, I want
- 21:45Speaker 1: you to tell me that I'm doing the right thing,
- 21:47Speaker 1: Like are these things good for my body? Should I
- 21:49Speaker 1: stop taking it? Am I okay to take this if
- 21:52Speaker 1: I ever do get pregnant? All those questions that I
- 21:54Speaker 1: was just asking her, and she's like, no, taking a
- 21:57Speaker 1: probiotic and probiotic is incredible. It is so so good
- 22:00Speaker 1: for you, and she thinks everybody should be taking that.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And then colostrum is a new thing that she actually
- 22:06Speaker 1: has never heard of, and she was like really impressed
- 22:09Speaker 1: that I actually had that. So anyways, but she's like,
- 22:12Speaker 1: you know, it's so important to make your gut a
- 22:15Speaker 1: huge priority when it comes to your health. So taking
- 22:18Speaker 1: supplements consistently I feel like has been a huge game
- 22:20Speaker 1: changer for me. And yeah, I just think it's so
- 22:23Speaker 1: important to focus on your gut health along with obviously
- 22:26Speaker 1: your overall health. Next one is having a consistent skincare routine.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I think the key to clear skin is using the
- 22:34Speaker 1: same products, keeping your skincare routine very basic. You don't
- 22:37Speaker 1: need eight products to put on your face. I feel
- 22:40Speaker 1: like when I use four or five products, literally that's it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I cream, moisturizer. I usually use the milk glazing, which
- 22:49Speaker 1: is kind of like an essence kream. I don't know
- 22:51Speaker 1: if I said that. And then sunscreen, like I literally
- 22:54Speaker 1: don't do much. I do not do any retinol. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: do not do any tip of like acid, you know,
- 23:00Speaker 1: on my face. I don't know even know what it's
- 23:01Speaker 1: called hyaluronic acid or wherever it is. I feel like
- 23:04Speaker 1: that just doesn't work for me. I do a retinal
- 23:07Speaker 1: actually that's a lot. I do a retinal in my
- 23:09Speaker 1: nighttime routine once a week. That's it. I don't do
- 23:11Speaker 1: it more than that because my face just doesn't react
- 23:14Speaker 1: well to retinal. But I try and do it very minimal,
- 23:18Speaker 1: like a very minimal skin carroutine, and I feel like
- 23:20Speaker 1: that's what works for me. But just having a consistent
- 23:22Speaker 1: skin care routine in general, I think makes a huge
- 23:25Speaker 1: difference in your skin. Your skin will thank you, and
- 23:28Speaker 1: I do think that plays a huge impact on your
- 23:30Speaker 1: clear skin. So having a consistent skin care routine I
- 23:33Speaker 1: think makes a huge difference when you're actually obviously consistent
- 23:36Speaker 1: with it, And I feel like using the same products
- 23:39Speaker 1: makes a huge difference as well. This is a new
- 23:41Speaker 1: one for me this year, and wow, am I obsessed
- 23:44Speaker 1: with it. Magnesium before Ben Wow, Wow Wow. I cannot
- 23:49Speaker 1: explain to you how this has changed my life. Like
- 23:52Speaker 1: I feel so much more well rested while I'm sleeping.
- 23:56Speaker 1: When I wake up in the morning, I'm up, like
- 23:58Speaker 1: I am up and atom I am ready to take
- 24:00Speaker 1: on the day. I feel like my sleeps have just
- 24:02Speaker 1: been so much better since I started taking magnesium. On
- 24:07Speaker 1: top of that, if you're someone like me, that works
- 24:09Speaker 1: out pretty consistently, Okay, my muscles have not felt as
- 24:13Speaker 1: sore because of me taking this every single night. Like,
- 24:17Speaker 1: I don't know why I took so long to take magnesium,
- 24:21Speaker 1: but wow, wow, wow, it has changed my life. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: was talking to my doctor about it yesterday and she's like, no,
- 24:26Speaker 1: this is literally everybody needs to take magnesium like it
- 24:30Speaker 1: is life changing. I don't know why I didn't start
- 24:33Speaker 1: doing this before. I'm so mad at myself because I
- 24:35Speaker 1: feel like this has just been such a game changer
- 24:36Speaker 1: in my mood and energy and everything since I started
- 24:39Speaker 1: taking it. But obviously, again, any tip the supplements who
- 24:42Speaker 1: take chat to your doctor about it. As I said,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I literally brought all my supplements to my doctor's appointment
- 24:46Speaker 1: to make sure that everything I was taking was okay.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But magnesium is so so good, and I feel like
- 24:51Speaker 1: it's been a huge game changer for me specifically. This
- 24:54Speaker 1: is another great one that I will definitely be taking
- 24:56Speaker 1: into twenty twenty six is positive self talk. You have
- 25:00Speaker 1: no idea how many times my husband will catch me
- 25:03Speaker 1: talking to myself, Like, not in a creepy way at all,
- 25:06Speaker 1: but if I'm in a negative headspace, I will literally
- 25:09Speaker 1: whisper to myself and talk myself out of that negative headspace,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and I truly feel like having positive self talk really
- 25:17Speaker 1: does like take your mind off of those things that
- 25:20Speaker 1: you were thinking about before that put you in that
- 25:22Speaker 1: negative head space. Like really saying those positive things and
- 25:25Speaker 1: putting just a positive aspect into your mind, you see
- 25:30Speaker 1: things so differently and you feel so much better about yourself,
- 25:33Speaker 1: about the situation, everything. When it comes to anything, talking
- 25:37Speaker 1: to yourself in a positive way is so so crucial,
- 25:41Speaker 1: So especially if you're someone that may have a bit
- 25:43Speaker 1: of mental health issues. I go through, you know, periods
- 25:46Speaker 1: of really high stress or anxiety. I feel like when
- 25:49Speaker 1: I talk to myself in a positive way and I
- 25:51Speaker 1: say positive things to myself, I just feel like I
- 25:54Speaker 1: feel like a whole new person and I feel better
- 25:56Speaker 1: about myself, I feel better about the situation all that.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So really focusing on practicing positive self talk, I think
- 26:02Speaker 1: is crucial. Okay, this is something that I actually haven't
- 26:05Speaker 1: talked about yet, But since September, I have not really
- 26:10Speaker 1: had alcohol at all. I think I've had maybe two drinks. Yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 1: two drinks. I think I've had two drinks. For one
- 26:20Speaker 1: was at a spa and then the other was at
- 26:24Speaker 1: a dinner, that is it. Like I literally have not
- 26:26Speaker 1: had any alcohol since. I do think cutting out alcohol
- 26:31Speaker 1: has been a huge thing for my mental health and
- 26:36Speaker 1: how I felt. And again, I've always been the kind
- 26:39Speaker 1: of person where all of a balance, Like I've always
- 26:42Speaker 1: been like, you know, odd time, I'll have my drinks whatever,
- 26:45Speaker 1: But there has just been something that I I don't
- 26:48Speaker 1: want it anymore, Like I just I don't crave it,
- 26:50Speaker 1: Like I would rather order a mocktail than order an
- 26:54Speaker 1: alcoholic beverage. And I feel like restaurants have been making
- 26:57Speaker 1: that so much more of a you know, common thing
- 27:01Speaker 1: that people do. Like I feel like it's so common
- 27:03Speaker 1: to see mocktails on restaurants menus and all that, and
- 27:08Speaker 1: I've just been a mocktail girly and I feel like
- 27:11Speaker 1: I've really been embracing that. But I don't know, I
- 27:13Speaker 1: just like haven't had the need to have a glass
- 27:17Speaker 1: of alcohol. But I do think it's actually improved my life.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Like I do think it's been a huge thing for
- 27:23Speaker 1: me mentally, I've been feeling really good. And again, alcohol
- 27:26Speaker 1: is not for everyone, and sometimes if you think it's
- 27:29Speaker 1: best for yourself to not have it, that's okay too.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So I feel like, as long as you're with people
- 27:34Speaker 1: that fully support it or you know, people obviously don't
- 27:38Speaker 1: care if you drink or not. I think it's important
- 27:40Speaker 1: to be in friendships that people will support your decision
- 27:42Speaker 1: and understand your decision as to why you're not drinking.
- 27:46Speaker 1: But that's kind of what's been going on. I guess
- 27:50Speaker 1: for me is yeah, being a mocktail girly. Something else
- 27:54Speaker 1: that I'm taking into twenty twenty six that I feel
- 27:56Speaker 1: like has been a huge game changer for me in
- 27:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty five is brain dumping everything. Any idea that
- 28:03Speaker 1: comes to my head, anything that I've visualized or things
- 28:05Speaker 1: that I want for myself in life. I will always
- 28:08Speaker 1: either write it in the notes in my phone, take
- 28:10Speaker 1: a screenshot of something that I visually like, go in
- 28:13Speaker 1: my journal, write out something that I specifically visualize for
- 28:17Speaker 1: myself in the future. It is so important to constantly
- 28:21Speaker 1: brain dump every single day because let's be honest, there's
- 28:24Speaker 1: ideas coming in your head all the time. If you
- 28:27Speaker 1: don't write it down in that moment, you will forget.
- 28:29Speaker 1: You will. So doing a brain dump every single day
- 28:32Speaker 1: I think is so so important. This is why I
- 28:34Speaker 1: go on Pinterest daily because I think Pinterest is the
- 28:37Speaker 1: most amazing app. You're constantly visualizing things for yourself that
- 28:41Speaker 1: you envision for yourself, your future, your goals. It makes
- 28:45Speaker 1: you think of ideas that you may have never thought
- 28:47Speaker 1: of that you want for yourself. Just constantly visualizing your
- 28:51Speaker 1: dream in life, your dream goals, the version that you
- 28:53Speaker 1: want to become. It's just so so important to constantly
- 28:57Speaker 1: find ways to write things out that you're thinking in
- 29:01Speaker 1: that exact moment, and it just kind of like structures
- 29:04Speaker 1: out how you want your life to look like, if
- 29:07Speaker 1: that makes sense. So yeah, I think it's important too obviously,
- 29:10Speaker 1: write daily goals, write weekly goals, and write anything that
- 29:15Speaker 1: comes to your mind that you are passionate about or
- 29:17Speaker 1: things that you see for yourself. Another thing that I've
- 29:20Speaker 1: done this year that I got back into that I
- 29:22Speaker 1: want to take into twenty twenty six is meal prepping.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I kind of chatted about this in a video a
- 29:27Speaker 1: few weeks ago about how I'm like ninety percent sure
- 29:30Speaker 1: that I was under eating and not even realizing it
- 29:32Speaker 1: because ever since I started to meal prep, the energy
- 29:36Speaker 1: that I feel throughout my day versus having a small
- 29:38Speaker 1: little lunch or a small little snack plate. I feel
- 29:43Speaker 1: so so much better actually eating a full meal and
- 29:46Speaker 1: going into my day with enough energy till my dinner.
- 29:50Speaker 1: And it sounds so bad because lunch was always that
- 29:53Speaker 1: kind of meal for me where I'm like, oh, I'll
- 29:54Speaker 1: just skip it, or oh, I'll just make something quick
- 29:57Speaker 1: because you know, I just never knew what to make.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You know, I work from home, so I'm kind of like, oh,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I don't need to make a big meal. I can
- 30:03Speaker 1: just have a big dinner, a big breakfast, small lunch, whatever.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Ever since I started meal prepping and actually making a
- 30:09Speaker 1: meal for four days, four to five days is usually
- 30:12Speaker 1: how long it lasts me. I used to hate eating
- 30:14Speaker 1: the same thing every single day, but I've actually started
- 30:16Speaker 1: to find recipes now that I really do enjoy, and
- 30:18Speaker 1: I actually enjoy eating every single day, and I just
- 30:22Speaker 1: have so much more energy. I'm seeing food as fuel,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and I just never really realized how much our bodies
- 30:29Speaker 1: really needed full meals to be fully transparent. Like I
- 30:32Speaker 1: thought I could survive off of either skipping lunch or
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know, having a small meal. But ever since actually
- 30:38Speaker 1: eating a full balance lunch, my energy levels and productivity
- 30:44Speaker 1: levels have just been so much better. So that's just
- 30:46Speaker 1: coming from experience from someone who was like literally under
- 30:49Speaker 1: eating for the first half of this year, and then
- 30:51Speaker 1: I started meal prepping this summer and then I feel
- 30:53Speaker 1: like everything changed for me, like energy wise, productive level wise,
- 30:56Speaker 1: like everything. And I truly do think it's because I'm
- 30:58Speaker 1: actually eating a well balanced lunch for skipping out on
- 31:02Speaker 1: the meal. Okay, this next one is very much a
- 31:04Speaker 1: girly thing to do, but actually putting in the effort
- 31:07Speaker 1: of doing in everything, shower once a week and doing
- 31:10Speaker 1: a blowout makes you feel so much better. Like I
- 31:14Speaker 1: love blowing out my hair once a week. I love
- 31:17Speaker 1: doing a little bit of makeup, you know, putting on
- 31:19Speaker 1: a cute outfit, having my hair fully blown out, and
- 31:22Speaker 1: I feel good about myself. And you know what, every
- 31:24Speaker 1: time I actually do that, now that I think about it,
- 31:26Speaker 1: my husband usually compliments me. He's like, oh, you look
- 31:28Speaker 1: nice today, because usually I have my hair up in
- 31:30Speaker 1: a ponytail. You know, I have very minimal makeup on,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I have a cozy outfit on. Again because I work
- 31:35Speaker 1: from home, I still like to put a little effort
- 31:36Speaker 1: in myself. As I said, still look put together. But
- 31:40Speaker 1: you know, my hair is not really done. I don't
- 31:41Speaker 1: really care what I look like whatever. When I actually
- 31:44Speaker 1: do my weekly blowout and I like put the effort
- 31:46Speaker 1: of my hair, my husband will always say something and
- 31:47Speaker 1: I do find it funny because again, it's just putting
- 31:50Speaker 1: in that effort every week to like do something for yourself.
- 31:53Speaker 1: And let's be honest, having your hair freshly blown out,
- 31:56Speaker 1: it's truly the best feeling. It's a girl feeling that
- 31:59Speaker 1: no guy I would ever understand is having a freshly
- 32:02Speaker 1: washed blowout, and just like you want to leave the house,
- 32:06Speaker 1: You want to get out, you want to go out
- 32:07Speaker 1: for dinner, you want to see the girls. Like I
- 32:09Speaker 1: don't know how to explain it, but like I feel
- 32:10Speaker 1: like when my hair is freshly done, I'm feeling good
- 32:13Speaker 1: and I want to leave the house. Another one is
- 32:16Speaker 1: planning out your day before the next day. I always
- 32:21Speaker 1: always talk about this, but having a little to do
- 32:23Speaker 1: list of knowing everything that you have to do the
- 32:24Speaker 1: following day makes you feel already going into your day,
- 32:28Speaker 1: like you know what's about to happen and you're ready
- 32:31Speaker 1: to be productive and you have all this shit that
- 32:33Speaker 1: you need to get done. Like planning things out makes
- 32:36Speaker 1: your life so much easier. It's such a small task. Again,
- 32:39Speaker 1: could be in your notes on your phone, could be
- 32:40Speaker 1: in your journal, but writing out everything that you need
- 32:43Speaker 1: to do the next day just makes yourself feel so
- 32:45Speaker 1: much more organized. You know exactly what you need to do.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You don't need to stress about forgetting something or if
- 32:50Speaker 1: you had an appointment that you forgot about. Like if
- 32:52Speaker 1: you prep everything the day before, you'll know what you
- 32:55Speaker 1: need to do going into the next day. So it's
- 32:57Speaker 1: a very small task, but it does make a huge
- 32:59Speaker 1: difference going into your day and going into your week.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Another one is daily gratitude. It's so crucial to be
- 33:09Speaker 1: grateful every single day for the light that you've created
- 33:12Speaker 1: for yourself, the people that you're surrounded by, your parents,
- 33:16Speaker 1: your loved one, your sister, your life, everything, Like, it's
- 33:19Speaker 1: so so important to be grateful for things that God
- 33:23Speaker 1: has given you. I feel like I've definitely leaned into
- 33:26Speaker 1: my faith a bit this year and definitely like realize
- 33:29Speaker 1: how appreciated I am for the life that God has
- 33:33Speaker 1: given me. And when you're thankful for things that have
- 33:35Speaker 1: come into your life, I do think more good things
- 33:38Speaker 1: come to you. And just yeah, practicing daily gratitude I
- 33:42Speaker 1: think really makes a huge difference in your mindset, how
- 33:45Speaker 1: you feel about life, how you see life, and just
- 33:48Speaker 1: makes you realize how grateful you are to be able
- 33:51Speaker 1: to do the little things like moving your body, your health,
- 33:54Speaker 1: the people that you surround yourself with all that. Oh,
- 33:57Speaker 1: this is another one that I feel like I've grown
- 33:59Speaker 1: so much this year You're in and that is saying
- 34:01Speaker 1: no to plans without having to over explain why if
- 34:05Speaker 1: I don't want to go out, I am okay with
- 34:09Speaker 1: saying I'm not going out like I feel like last
- 34:12Speaker 1: year I would have felt forced like, oh, I need
- 34:15Speaker 1: to get out of the house though I need to
- 34:16Speaker 1: see people whatever. If I don't want to go, then
- 34:19Speaker 1: I'm not going. I definitely don't have FOMA anymore. I
- 34:22Speaker 1: truly enjoy the times that I have here at the
- 34:26Speaker 1: house with my husband, with my dog. If I want
- 34:29Speaker 1: to go out, though, I'm going to go out. If
- 34:31Speaker 1: I don't want to go out though, and I don't
- 34:33Speaker 1: want to do whatever my friends are doing, I'm okay
- 34:36Speaker 1: with not having to explain why I'm not going. I'll
- 34:38Speaker 1: just be like, hey, can't make it, but thanks for
- 34:41Speaker 1: thinking of me, you know what I mean? Like I
- 34:42Speaker 1: don't care. Like, at the end of the day, it's
- 34:45Speaker 1: so important to just say yes things you actually want
- 34:47Speaker 1: to do, because then at least you're there and you
- 34:49Speaker 1: feel good about your decision. You're not there because you
- 34:51Speaker 1: felt like you forced yourself to go right. So I
- 34:53Speaker 1: don't know, I feel like saying no is okay and
- 34:56Speaker 1: I don't have an issue with anymore. And when I
- 34:59Speaker 1: do say yes, it's to things that I actually want
- 35:01Speaker 1: to go to. This is another thing that I talk
- 35:02Speaker 1: about all the time. But something else I want to
- 35:04Speaker 1: take into twenty twenty six is really just continuing to
- 35:08Speaker 1: romanticize the little things in my life. When it's you know,
- 35:11Speaker 1: making my coffee, lighting a candle, drinking out of a
- 35:15Speaker 1: fancy glass. Maybe it's buying yourself flowers, putting flowers in
- 35:19Speaker 1: the house. Maybe it's wearing a matching set. Maybe it's
- 35:22Speaker 1: drinking water out of a wine glass. It could also
- 35:25Speaker 1: be putting on music while you're cleaning. Like doing the
- 35:28Speaker 1: basic things in your life, but making it a little
- 35:31Speaker 1: bit better by romanticizing it, by making it just a
- 35:34Speaker 1: little bit more elevated. You feel so so much better
- 35:37Speaker 1: about how your little life is. And yeah, just spending
- 35:41Speaker 1: the time to actually romanticize it and make it feel
- 35:43Speaker 1: a little bit more elevated. Is something that just makes
- 35:46Speaker 1: you feel very classy. Another thing for twenty twenty six
- 35:50Speaker 1: that I think is a non negotiable is habit stacking,
- 35:53Speaker 1: doing multiple things at once. It is truly going to
- 35:57Speaker 1: be your best friend if you're able to do two
- 35:58Speaker 1: things at once, whether it's driving in the car and
- 36:01Speaker 1: listening to a podcast or walking on the treadmill and
- 36:04Speaker 1: reading a book. Like, there's so many things that you
- 36:06Speaker 1: could think about that you could do two things at once,
- 36:09Speaker 1: but habit stacking is so crucial. I think it's been
- 36:11Speaker 1: a huge game changer for me going into twenty twenty five.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I love doing this and it's definitely been easier to
- 36:17Speaker 1: obviously get everything that I want to get done in
- 36:20Speaker 1: a short period of time, Like in my morning routine,
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'll habit stack. I think it just is a huge
- 36:25Speaker 1: game changer and is great for people who maybe have
- 36:29Speaker 1: a early start to work. If you can do multiple
- 36:31Speaker 1: things at once early in the morning to get everything
- 36:34Speaker 1: that you want to get done before you start your day.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I think habit stacking is key. Okay, we have five
- 36:39Speaker 1: more things here, but laying out your clothes before the
- 36:43Speaker 1: next day. I don't need to explain that, but I
- 36:45Speaker 1: do think having your clothes all set and ready is
- 36:48Speaker 1: another thing, kind of like when it comes to making
- 36:49Speaker 1: your bed every single morning, it's just kind of like
- 36:51Speaker 1: a daily habit that's easy to have all set and done.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Every time before you go to bed, you grab the
- 36:56Speaker 1: clothes that you're going to wear. It makes things fast efficient,
- 36:58Speaker 1: you don't need to think about it. You know exactly
- 37:00Speaker 1: what you're gonna be wearing the next day. So I
- 37:02Speaker 1: feel like that's the key to starting your day off,
- 37:05Speaker 1: is knowing everything that you're gonna wear that day. Another
- 37:08Speaker 1: thing is regular stretching and being more mindful about wanting
- 37:11Speaker 1: to relax. So finding ways like listening to meditation, taking
- 37:15Speaker 1: ten minutes out of your night to stretch and just destress,
- 37:19Speaker 1: and just actually being intentional and forcing yourself to relax,
- 37:23Speaker 1: I think is so so crucial, especially for people who
- 37:25Speaker 1: might be constantly working out or in a job that
- 37:28Speaker 1: keeps you on your toes and you're on your feet
- 37:30Speaker 1: all the time. Like, actually spending the time to stretch
- 37:32Speaker 1: and relax before you head to bed is super super crucial.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Another thing is consuming content or TV shows that actually
- 37:40Speaker 1: fulfill you. I get caught so many times watching things
- 37:43Speaker 1: on social media that have no purpose at all or
- 37:47Speaker 1: has spiked my anxiety or has spiked my stress. And
- 37:51Speaker 1: now I've been really intentional with things that I watch
- 37:54Speaker 1: and things that I actually want to consume on social media,
- 37:57Speaker 1: especially when it comes to TV shows. I talked about
- 37:59Speaker 1: this and my most YouTube video, but I feel like
- 38:01Speaker 1: watching old TV shows have broughten so much light into
- 38:05Speaker 1: my mind, and like watching things that I watched as
- 38:07Speaker 1: a teenager and almost TV shows that I would consider
- 38:11Speaker 1: my comfort shows have brought me so much joy, And
- 38:15Speaker 1: I don't know, I feel like I just feel better
- 38:17Speaker 1: mentally when I'm watching comfort shows and watching things that
- 38:21Speaker 1: I watched in my teens, and I'm consuming things that
- 38:23Speaker 1: I actually want to consume. So being really intentional of
- 38:27Speaker 1: what you want to watch on social media or what
- 38:29Speaker 1: you want to watch in a TV show, I think
- 38:31Speaker 1: plays a huge impact in your mind, your mindset, and
- 38:35Speaker 1: how you go into your day to day. Another one
- 38:37Speaker 1: is having coffee after breakfast. We've definitely talked about this
- 38:41Speaker 1: in the past, but your cholesterols definitely spike when you
- 38:45Speaker 1: drink coffee before breakfast or just on an empty stomach
- 38:48Speaker 1: in general. So this is your sign to eat a banana,
- 38:51Speaker 1: eat a granola bar. It could be the smallest thing,
- 38:54Speaker 1: but just having your coffee after breakfast will be a
- 38:57Speaker 1: huge game changer for yourself. And again, it really helps
- 38:59Speaker 1: with your energy levels, it helps manage your anxiety. I
- 39:02Speaker 1: feel like when I have a coffee on an empty stomach,
- 39:04Speaker 1: my anxiety literally spikes immediately. So I always make sure
- 39:08Speaker 1: to eat something before I have my coffee. And it's
- 39:11Speaker 1: just something that's been a regular thing for me now
- 39:14Speaker 1: and I feel like it just has been a huge
- 39:15Speaker 1: impact in my day to day life. I'm a big
- 39:18Speaker 1: girly girl, as you guys know, so for me, monthly
- 39:20Speaker 1: beauty appointments is a non negotiable. Getting my nails done,
- 39:23Speaker 1: getting my eyebrows done, getting the odd spray tands. Sometimes
- 39:27Speaker 1: I feel so much more put together when I do
- 39:29Speaker 1: these appointments. And I know it's not for everybody, but
- 39:32Speaker 1: I do feel really good when I get a manny petty,
- 39:35Speaker 1: when I get my eyebrows wax, when my hair is
- 39:38Speaker 1: freshly blown out. It's the little things, but I do
- 39:40Speaker 1: think it makes a huge difference in how I feel
- 39:44Speaker 1: and how I want to see myself, Like, I just
- 39:46Speaker 1: feel good when I do those little appointments, and I
- 39:49Speaker 1: just feel a lot more put together. And the last
- 39:51Speaker 1: one that I wrote was eating at home eighty percent
- 39:54Speaker 1: of the time, home cooked meals over takeout. Obviously having
- 39:58Speaker 1: the odd takeout meal on the weekend or going out
- 40:00Speaker 1: for dinner, whatever the case may be. But I do
- 40:03Speaker 1: think eating at home and having home cooked meals plays
- 40:06Speaker 1: a huge impact how you feel your mood everything. Obviously,
- 40:09Speaker 1: cooking everything yourself, you know exactly what's going in the food.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Obviously it's a healthier lifestyle choice as well when you're
- 40:16Speaker 1: eating home cooked meals. And I don't know, I just
- 40:18Speaker 1: feel like you feel good when you actually make a
- 40:20Speaker 1: home cooked meal versus ordering takeout every single night. But
- 40:25Speaker 1: those are the twenty six things that I'm taking into
- 40:28Speaker 1: twenty twenty six that I think are non negotiables for
- 40:31Speaker 1: me that have either changed my life or have made
- 40:33Speaker 1: such a huge positive impact in my day to day life.
- 40:36Speaker 1: So I hope this episode was inspiring for you or
- 40:40Speaker 1: it's almost like a reminder to do these little things
- 40:43Speaker 1: that allow yourself to make you feel like you're the
- 40:45Speaker 1: best version of yourself or you feel good when you're
- 40:48Speaker 1: doing these things and actually being consistent with it makes
- 40:51Speaker 1: a huge, huge difference in your day to day life.
- 40:55Speaker 1: But I'm going to end this episode off here. I
- 40:57Speaker 1: love you guys also much. I hope you guys enjoyed
- 40:59Speaker 1: the start of the twenty twenty six episodes for December.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Really just gearing up for the new year ahead. But
- 41:07Speaker 1: I love you guys allso much. Thank you guys for listening,
- 41:09Speaker 1: and I will see you guys in next week's episode.
