- 0:08Speaker 1: These are things that are bugging you, dear, dear friends
- 0:11Speaker 1: of the program, and we don't want them to bother
- 0:13Speaker 1: you anymore. So please, if something's eating at you, something's
- 0:18Speaker 1: got stuck in your craw, you send it to us.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It's things that must go. And sometimes, if we read
- 0:25Speaker 1: yours on the air, that helps you feel better. And oftentimes, well,
- 0:29Speaker 1: not oftentimes, but occasionally, I would say, these things actually
- 0:33Speaker 1: will disappear from your life. So it's things that must go.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Send them to radiofromhell at x96.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Com.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Put must go in the subject line, and we'll get
- 0:42Speaker 1: to it. Jeannie, you want to start today?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Sure. This one from Housekeeper Mariah.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Dear Lords, I.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Come before you once again, a humble housekeeper. Asking for
- 0:52Speaker 3: your help in making these things vanish from my life.
- 0:55Speaker 3: First and foremost, my anxiety. It's crippling sometimes, and I'll
- 0:59Speaker 3: find one thing wrong and then enter a spiral that
- 1:01Speaker 3: quickly becomes self-fulfilling. Second, and slightly less irritating, people who
- 1:06Speaker 3: leave large piles of garbage around the provided garbage cans
- 1:10Speaker 3: in the rooms at the hotel that I work in.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And finally, and grossest of all, People who blow their
- 1:17Speaker 3: nose in the shower and then don't make sure that
- 1:20Speaker 3: they have checked to see that the snot rocket goes
- 1:22Speaker 3: down the drain.
- 1:23Speaker 2: So it's okay to do it as long as you're
- 1:26Speaker 2: letting go.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Just make sure it goes down.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Seriously, I shouldn't have to worry about your boogers while
- 1:31Speaker 3: I'm already scrubbing where your feet have been. Thank you,
- 1:34Speaker 3: Housekeeper Mariah. Doing the Lord's work there, Mariah. This from
- 1:40Speaker 3: Please Don't Use My Name. I work in a small
- 1:42Speaker 3: fabric store where the clientele is mostly white women over
- 1:45Speaker 3: the age of 60. My thing that must go is
- 1:47Speaker 3: the casual racist and homophobic comments that come out of
- 1:51Speaker 3: their mouths completely unprompted. There's no way to respond without
- 1:56Speaker 3: getting fired because anything I would say would definitely get
- 1:59Speaker 3: me fired. This must go. This from Tony. Good morning.
- 2:04Speaker 3: My thing that must go. The gays who want to
- 2:06Speaker 3: dress up as the $ 15 million bird from the Kelly
- 2:09Speaker 3: Clarkson game magic store drama. Oh. They should be dressing
- 2:15Speaker 3: up as Vivian Ward and Edward Lewis. God bless you, Tony.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Those are the pretty woman characters.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 2:21Speaker 2: All right. Let's see.
- 2:23Speaker 3: And then finally, these from Susie. Reckless Tesla drivers must go.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Stop flying around, switching lanes, and causing chaos. And please
- 2:34Speaker 3: use your blinkers so we can at least try to
- 2:35Speaker 3: figure out what stunt you're going to try next. Thanks
- 2:37Speaker 3: for letting me listen. Also, turkey bacon must go.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Just in general.
- 2:44Speaker 3: If you're going to have bacon, just have bacon.
- 2:47Speaker 2: No one's making you buy it.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You know, I saw a billboard yesterday. Rodizio Grill, bacon month. Everything,
- 2:56Speaker 1: that's their whole theme for the month.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wow. Bacon. Carrie, you want to go next? Okay. This
- 3:02Speaker 2: one from Zane. Good morning, lords. Me and Mrs.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Zane were in Disneyland last week.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Things that must go.
- 3:10Speaker 4: October is supposed to be not a hot month.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Right. It was a hot this month. Disneyland's average temperature
- 3:20Speaker 4: was 75 to 90 degrees.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was gross. Get used to it.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yep.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's not going away.
- 3:25Speaker 4: This one is a true complaint. Number two, not enough shade.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Rather hardly any shade. Like I said, a couple of
- 3:32Speaker 4: days get close to 90 degrees plus humidity. Number three, hotels.
- 3:37Speaker 4: The hotel was nice. Breakfast, on-site Starbucks, shuttle to the park, pool,
- 3:41Speaker 4: hot tub. Although our shower didn't drain all the water, though.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It kind of built up. Maybe it's because of the boogers. Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 4: The toilet also did that gurgle burping sound.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It sounded a little clogged.
- 3:55Speaker 4: It was my first time there.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Mrs.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Zane has been there six or seven times now. She
- 4:00Speaker 4: told me it was expensive, but I really didn't understand
- 4:03Speaker 4: how expensive until all of our money was gone after
- 4:06Speaker 4: a short time there. It's true, and it just keeps
- 4:10Speaker 4: going up. Every October they raise the price. I had
- 4:14Speaker 4: the entire week off. Used the rest of my vacation time.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I wish I had some more time off because this
- 4:19Speaker 4: week is now dragging ass.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I need a.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Vacation after my vacation. Let's see this one from Casey.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yelling, let's go! I think it was Deadpool that.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Brought this little more to the forefront, but on many
- 4:36Speaker 4: game shows and almost all competitive reality shows, every episode
- 4:41Speaker 4: will have someone at some point yelling, let's go!
- 4:45Speaker 2: Getting old fast.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Make it go. And finally, this one from Jason. Halloween
- 4:52Speaker 4: adjectives must go. Words like spooktacular, bootiful, boys and ghouls.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I love Halloween, but these words have gotten a little stale.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Fangs for letting me listen.
- 5:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'll bring it home here. I have a couple of
- 5:12Speaker 1: my own. First of all, people who, and I hear
- 5:15Speaker 1: a lot of people doing it, and I don't know
- 5:16Speaker 1: where it started, saying 100%.
- 5:18Speaker 2: 100%. 100%, man.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And they'll say it several times in a conversation. Oh, yeah, 100%.
- 5:26Speaker 2: 100%. A way of saying, you know, I'm very positive
- 5:30Speaker 2: about this. I do that.
- 5:32Speaker 3: 100%.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And we need to decide, this is my other thing
- 5:35Speaker 1: that must go, we need to decide, is.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It amen or amen? Amen. Amen. It has to. Well,
- 5:44Speaker 2: is that what we're going to decide? It's amen at
- 5:46Speaker 2: the end of a prayer?
- 5:48Speaker 3: Well, I'm just thinking of the song. Amen.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I think it's amen in a casual use, but in
- 5:55Speaker 4: a professional use, it's amen.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You think? Yeah. Maybe so.
- 5:59Speaker 3: To the Father.
- 6:01Speaker 1: This one is Ty from West Valley here. You can
- 6:03Speaker 1: use my name. Taking the day off today, which is
- 6:05Speaker 1: a plus. but realizing that I taped up a sign
- 6:08Speaker 1: at my cubicle that says, quote, celebrate inner beauty for
- 6:12Speaker 1: physical beauty fades, signed, some ugly wise guy. Oh. Thing
- 6:16Speaker 1: that must go is I didn't realize I'd left the
- 6:18Speaker 1: sign up, so if anyone goes into or past my cubicle,
- 6:21Speaker 1: they're going to see it. Is that work appropriate? I
- 6:23Speaker 1: don't know, but there's an end of it. If people
- 6:25Speaker 1: see it, they see it. Thanks for letting me listen.
- 6:28Speaker 2: It's fine. Yeah, shoot. You should be okay. Here's a
- 6:31Speaker 2: quick list of things that must go. It says, Ow.
- 6:33Speaker 1: What? Don't you know who he is? When I have time,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I will bring you some jalapenos that I have grown.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Thank you for letting me listen. Feel free to edit this.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I sent it not quite awake.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Hunter. And finally, this one. Hello, Lord. Yes, you can
- 7:08Speaker 2: use my name.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's Whitney. My thing that must go this week is rebranding.
- 7:14Speaker 1: My credit union rebranded. We are rebranding at work. Even
- 7:18Speaker 1: government entities are rebranding it.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Department of War was the suggestion.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It feels like just when you get used to one name,
- 7:29Speaker 1: you have to shift, and then half the people don't shift,
- 7:32Speaker 1: so no one knows what anyone is talking about anymore.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Please make this go away. It's a waste of time
- 7:38Speaker 1: and money. Thanks for letting me listen. Oh, I did
- 7:41Speaker 1: have one more short one. The spelling of Hurricane Utah.
- 7:45Speaker 1: If you want me to say hurricane, then spell it
- 7:48Speaker 1: that way. How do you take a common word and
- 7:51Speaker 1: say it differently? I will always say hurricane unless they
- 7:55Speaker 1: spell it differently.
