  We had a wee bit of drama. Initially because a bit of

  panic. It wouldn't, the address

  wouldn't be accepted and usually that's just a, you know, put

  your address in again and it goes through didn't work for any

  of us. And then we saw a lot of people

  seem to be in that position. I think it was maybe people

  outside the US only because maybe they had a different,

  obviously they have this flat 999 rate in the US, so maybe

  they just didn't add the other rates for us over here.

  But it went through eventually after about 20 minutes or so.

  through some of the, the actual armor and weapons, It's so it's

  more fantastical than you would think it would be.

  Some of. Like hard pieces are a bit

  weird, yeah. Get messed, fried, the stuff you

  Oh, absolutely. They're just, they're absolutely

  insane. And you know, that and some of

  the helmets and some of the combination pistols with, with

  swords and there's, there's some, there's some strange

  things out there. But yeah, I, I, I, I think it's

  fun to kind of go go in the fantastical direction as well.

  Oh, definitely. For sure.

  And you're, you're a fan of museums and stuff, Dennis,

  looking at all this kind of stuff.

  I have. I think you have a couple of

  good ones over there in America and obviously over here where,

  you know, a lot of that stuff comes from here originally, the

  medieval stuff at least. And.

  Have you been to any over in the UK or?

  I've been to a couple in Spain. Oh yes, it's a good spot for

  that. Been been to one in Dublin years

  ago and then in France as well. But it's, it's been, it's been a

  while and I should get refreshed.

  We do have a couple of decent ones, you know, here in the, in

  the US there's one in Philadelphia and obviously the,
• 20:59
  the museum in New York City is really quite, quite nice.

  There's a decent one in Chicago as well.

  And even even locally, we have one here that has relatively
• 21:10
  decent medieval Armory. So it's, it's, you know, it's
• 21:17
  what you make of it and how, how you can kind of, you know, use
• 21:20
  your time and get out there and see things.

  Absolutely. And would you take some
• 21:25
  references for your customizing from, from that kind of stuff,
• 21:28
  you know? Oh, absolutely.

  Metallics and shades and that kind of thing, as well as kind
• 21:32
  of design. Yeah, absolutely.

  And, you know, and it's, it's funny because you look at some
• 21:37
  of the, the, the, you know, the, the, the armor that's on exhibit

  and you can see a lot of them originally were covered in, you
• 21:46
  know, either some type of lacquer or some type of, you
• 21:49
  know, painting. And, you know, it's like how,
• 21:52
  how can I, how can I get that, that type of, you know, color
• 21:57
  and, and really integrate it into what we're doing.

  Again, it's not anything that's, you know, world changing event
• 22:04
  here, but it's just fun, that's all.

  It's it's I think it's nice to be, you know, to, to sometimes

  be a little bit accurate to maybe what they did historically

  or, or to have a reason why you did something.

  It's like I did this kind of shade or wash on the armor

  because I saw it in yeah, I know this old stuff for you.

  That's pretty cool. Yeah, and it's, it's, it's fun.

  And I've, I've just enjoyed the painting process and you know,

  I'm starting to print my own stuff as well now.

  So how? Are you?

  Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, yeah.

  So it's, it's, it's just you know, again, for, for like large
• 22:41
  scale type of projects, I'll usually, you know, have either
• 22:46
  Anthony Velez from Noble Bear or Paris from dusk till dawn, do

  the printing. But just for just kind of trial
• 22:53
  and error stuff. I'll do it myself, but I don't
• 22:55
  have the the patience or the capacity to to sit down and and
• 22:59
  run a run a print farm here. Yeah, that's that is a lot of

  work and a lot of smelly work and with small kids.

  Yeah, yeah, that would probably, I'd be divorced fairly quickly
• 23:11
  if I was caught in speeding the prints.

  Yeah, for sure. But it's cool to, you know, if

  you do have a design, either you get, you know, either doing the

  design yourself or if you commissioned someone to do a 3D
• 23:25
  sculpt for you, you can at least print it yourself, do a paint

  prototype, you know, mess around, maybe even think, oh,
• 23:33
  that that little piece is sticking out a bit too much or
• 23:35
  not enough or whatever. So.

  They're very, very shiny. So I took it apart and I sprayed

  And then I did a I, I just, you know, kind of just put a little

  bit of silver on to the end of a dry brush and kind of stifled it

  in so it would match the, the color from the, the you can see

  the torso is from one of the Furious 4 and so match that

  fairly easily. And then I used a weathering

  medium. It's called Nush.

  Really good. Because if you mix it up, what I

  did is I mixed it with some black and just a couple dots of

  So it it, it looks like it's all kind of the same color, which is

  bit of weathering. It has sunshine but not enough

  when when I was up at the the Metropolitan Museum of Art in

  was going through as a touring exhibit.

  reference. And that wasn't enough.
