Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: On today's show, We're gonna have someone on that we
- 0:02Speaker 1: vowed never to have on this show again, but hey,
- 0:05Speaker 1: we're gonna do it anyway.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Let's go roll the intro.
- 0:12Speaker 1: All right, all right, and your line from Philly it's
- 0:17Speaker 1: a number one Raven Paulo as Polly Fool's go here
- 0:23Speaker 1: with Tony Foolsco.
- 0:25Speaker 3: And Tony Yo.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Huge show to New Year, can't we know?
- 0:29Speaker 1: We continue to chronicle the breakup of Skip Dayless's Swanton Shop,
- 0:34Speaker 1: which shows while the whole concept of embraced debate has
- 0:37Speaker 1: been nothing but a total.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Failure, colossal disaster exactly.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You know people that're tired of all this arguing in
- 0:44Speaker 1: this back and forth.
- 0:45Speaker 3: You know, we have a new slogan.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Instead of embrace debate, how about erase debate? Yeah?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Perfect, Yeah, there you go.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You know, we all know that when it comes to
- 0:54Speaker 1: sports and opinion, there's only one correct point of view,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and that's it.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Don't you agreet Tony one hundred spot on?
- 1:03Speaker 1: You know, that's why we've been so successful for so
- 1:05Speaker 1: many years in this business, because you know the audience
- 1:08Speaker 1: is they don't want to hit two sides of everything.
- 1:10Speaker 1: They just they just had to get to tell them
- 1:11Speaker 1: the correct side and move on.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Isn't that right? Don't it?
- 1:14Speaker 2: I couldn't agree more.
- 1:17Speaker 1: See this is this people take notes, you know, the
- 1:19Speaker 1: people in this context is how you.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Make great sports contents.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Absolutely absolutely, And as the saying goes, we're like two
- 1:28Speaker 2: p's in a pond over here.
- 1:30Speaker 3: That's what we are.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Anyway, Today we're gonna bring on a man who has
- 1:34Speaker 1: tried to make it on debate shows to his peril.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Now he's gone solo, either because he wanted to do
- 1:40Speaker 1: it because you know, nobody could stand him anymore. Anyway,
- 1:43Speaker 1: we'll ask him about that. You know someone who has
- 1:45Speaker 1: been kicked off this show many times. I gonna guess
- 1:48Speaker 1: it's gonna happen again, most likely Jason Whitlock, and we're
- 1:52Speaker 1: gonna get his thoughts on which side he's on, Skip
- 1:54Speaker 1: of Shannons.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well, probably the wrong side as usual, That's what
- 1:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna guess anyway.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, before we get into that, first, a word from
- 2:02Speaker 1: our good friends at Outback Steakhouse. Have you ever tried
- 2:07Speaker 1: Australian food? Well, believe it or not, it's not as
- 2:10Speaker 1: weird and off putting as it sounds. In fact, Tony,
- 2:13Speaker 1: you have your own story here tell the people.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, A couple of weeks ago, I got my aunt
- 2:19Speaker 2: Marie and her boyfriend Nunzio a gift card to Outback Steakhouse. Well,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I saw them the other night, and Nunzio seemed so happy.
- 2:28Speaker 2: He told me he really enjoyed eating out down Under
- 2:31Speaker 2: with my aunt. I asked him what he ordered at Outback,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and then he seemed confused. He said he'd never eaten
- 2:38Speaker 2: there and didn't even know what Outback was. And I said,
- 2:42Speaker 2: but you talked about eating out down Under with my
- 2:44Speaker 2: aunt And oh uh, forget what I was saying. Let's
- 2:49Speaker 2: just move on.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Terrific story, Tony. Anyway, a special treat for.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Our listeners, visit Outback dot com now and to the
- 2:55Speaker 1: promo code fusco and get point zero two percent off
- 2:58Speaker 1: any gift card purchase of seven.
- 3:00Speaker 3: One hundred dollars or more off of only valid in Alaska.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well, now another check this out of the way.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Let's get right into our top story story. All right, First,
- 3:12Speaker 1: out the Gate, the big story in sports media, Skip
- 3:16Speaker 1: Dayliss and Shannon show yea, you know, get your divorce
- 3:18Speaker 1: because they seem to clearly hate each other.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Any way.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know, people are saying that this is all Skip's fault,
- 3:25Speaker 1: that Shannon's right believe in all this what you know,
- 3:28Speaker 1: this is what I totally hate about sports TV these days.
- 3:32Speaker 3: You know, this idea that.
- 3:33Speaker 1: These former athletes can come on and be better at
- 3:36Speaker 1: sports talk than journalists and seasoned radios. It's just ridiculous
- 3:40Speaker 1: and frankly rude to our proud profession, isn't.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It, right, Tony.
- 3:44Speaker 2: You know, it's a toxic situation because these Hall of
- 3:48Speaker 2: Fame athletes on TV now, they just naturally assume they
- 3:52Speaker 2: know more about sports because they, you know, we're in
- 3:55Speaker 2: locker rooms and actually on the field, and that's a
- 3:58Speaker 2: real problem.
- 3:59Speaker 1: It's just terrible, you know, ruining the whole foundation of
- 4:03Speaker 1: what our proud industry of sports doc radio is built on.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, we understand, and Skip Bayless understands tool that
- 4:09Speaker 1: the only way to have a perspective on sports is
- 4:12Speaker 1: to have no direct association with it at all.
- 4:15Speaker 3: That's how you remain.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Objective, exactly. You gotta be objective.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know, perfect segue that, Tony as usual,
- 4:23Speaker 1: because on the subject of another true journalist in this business,
- 4:27Speaker 1: we saw an absolutely terrific take gampere this week from
- 4:31Speaker 1: just a brilliant observer of sports.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Of course, I'm talking about.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Chris mad Dog Russo, who said boldly and correctly, mind you,
- 4:39Speaker 1: that this year's Nuggets team was totally overrated and that
- 4:43Speaker 1: the nineteen eighty six Celtics would sweep the Nuggets four
- 4:46Speaker 1: roaw no contest, and Tony mad Dog Russo is so
- 4:50Speaker 1: right here is it?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Absolutely this year's Nuggets team would stand no chance against
- 4:55Speaker 2: the eighty six Celtics. All you gotta do is look
- 4:59Speaker 2: at the number of Hall of Famers on each team.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That's the ultimate way to judge a team. That eighty
- 5:05Speaker 2: six Celtics had six Hall of Famers, the Nuggets have none.
- 5:11Speaker 2: That's a glaring difference.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Such a great point that, Dony, And you know another
- 5:15Speaker 1: angle here that you know, I can't believe the media,
- 5:18Speaker 1: or maybe I can believe that the media is just
- 5:21Speaker 1: too chicken to talk about.
- 5:23Speaker 3: You'll hear it on this show people.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Doesn't anybody find it a little strange that in the
- 5:29Speaker 1: span of a week we've seen two athletes win major
- 5:33Speaker 1: championships from a country that nobody's heard of. You got
- 5:37Speaker 1: Novak Djokovic, Serbian when in the French Open. Then you
- 5:42Speaker 1: got Nicola Djokik, also Serbian, within the NBA finals, and
- 5:47Speaker 1: nobody in our business seems to bat and I find
- 5:51Speaker 1: and find this weird.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It's it's very disconcerting, isn't.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It, Tony Very? You know, I don't get my information
- 5:57Speaker 2: from the Internet because I'm not dumb and gullible. I
- 6:00Speaker 2: go to trusted sources like Encyclopedias. I went to my
- 6:05Speaker 2: most trusted world book, Encyclopedia that I've had for thirty years.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And what's so strange is that there's no mention of
- 6:13Speaker 2: a country called Serbia. But now everyone's talking about Serbia
- 6:17Speaker 2: this and Serbia that. Isn't it just a little strange
- 6:21Speaker 2: how this quote unquote country is so important all of
- 6:24Speaker 2: a sudden.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Just terrific perspective and research that Dony and Yank you
- 6:29Speaker 1: what I'm about to say is controversial, but you know
- 6:33Speaker 1: it's a duty as journalists it must be said.
- 6:36Speaker 3: What about Chernobyl.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You know, you had all that nuclear radiation springing all
- 6:41Speaker 1: over the place like forty years ago or so.
- 6:44Speaker 3: You look now at what's going on.
- 6:45Speaker 1: All of a sudden, you got these monster athletes sprouting
- 6:49Speaker 1: up everywhere in this country over there.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You know we've seen this before. Just look at the
- 6:53Speaker 2: incredible Hulk. The radiation transformed Bruce Banner and made him huge.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You apps, abolutely one hundred percent have to consider that
- 7:03Speaker 2: maybe all those gamma rays from Chernobyl got into their
- 7:06Speaker 2: DNA and gave them super strength.
- 7:09Speaker 3: You absolutely have to.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know, this is what they call in the business
- 7:12Speaker 1: people investigative journalism.
- 7:15Speaker 3: We do real news on the show, unlike.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Well the outlets and a ninety three years.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah, as we head into the summer, you know this
- 7:22Speaker 1: time of year, the sports world starts to slow down.
- 7:25Speaker 1: We all know that, but you know it doesn't stop
- 7:27Speaker 1: these desperate sites like ESPN dot Com from try and
- 7:30Speaker 1: act like all these stories going on are a big dal.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So right now, what we're gonna do is I'm gonna
- 7:35Speaker 1: read actual headlines from the front page of ESPN dot
- 7:38Speaker 1: Com to Tony and I'm gonna see if he cares
- 7:41Speaker 1: or not. It's a segment we call do you give
- 7:43Speaker 1: a fund?
- 7:44Speaker 3: Do you give a all? Right?
- 7:47Speaker 1: First headline here, Tony Nevada passes three hundred and eighty
- 7:51Speaker 1: million dollar bill to fund A's stadium.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Do you'll give.
- 7:55Speaker 2: An I pass on reading this article.
- 8:00Speaker 1: No Yankees owner firm in support of struggling Volpe.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Do you'll give a I will be struggling to read
- 8:10Speaker 2: this article.
- 8:11Speaker 1: No Rangers hiring ex Capital's head coach Laviolette.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Do you give a.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm going to leave violet This article unclicked.
- 8:23Speaker 1: No Najee Harris backs Ourb's calls out longevity narrative.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Do you give a fun?
- 8:31Speaker 2: This narrative has no longevity, only short jevity.
- 8:37Speaker 1: No Ambappe hits out at France over Messi treatment.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Do you'll give a hmm? I'm going to m skipe
- 8:47Speaker 2: this article.
- 8:49Speaker 1: No Tiafo Mussetti to face off in stute Gard quarters.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Do you'll give a hmm?
- 8:58Speaker 2: You know, given the recent success of Francis Tiafo, all
- 9:02Speaker 2: eyes will be on this match. Following the recent retirement
- 9:06Speaker 2: of Serena Williams, the US Tennisse sees and die in
- 9:09Speaker 2: need of a new face. While Tiafo does only have
- 9:12Speaker 2: a fifty one career win percentage, he is twenty three
- 9:16Speaker 2: and nine this year and picked up his first non
- 9:19Speaker 2: hard court title when taking the US Men's Clay Court Championships.
- 9:24Speaker 2: So I'm interested to see if he can continue that
- 9:27Speaker 2: momentum against Mussetti, a very formidable sixth seed. So yes,
- 9:32Speaker 2: I do give a wow.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Okay, then yeah that concludes us.
- 9:39Speaker 2: There you go, do you'll give a give?
- 9:43Speaker 1: And uh, well, just in time, donty, because I see
- 9:46Speaker 1: our guest coming on the line, So let's bring him
- 9:48Speaker 1: on the Fusco Satellite Networks Satellite All right, I guess
- 9:54Speaker 1: today hosts his own show Feels with Jason Whitlock on
- 9:58Speaker 1: Blaze Media to be on ESPN, FS one and a
- 10:02Speaker 1: bunch of other networks that quote unquote parted ways with him,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you know who knows what happened, but that does make
- 10:08Speaker 1: himself an expert on the topic we're about to discuss,
- 10:11Speaker 1: so let's bring him in.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Jason Whitlock, welcome back, come back to this show.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Yeah on the cry On put expert in parting ways?
- 10:20Speaker 4: Jason with about expert.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Well, first of all, it's a it's a Chiron, so
- 10:24Speaker 1: congratulations on knowing this business. But Cryon does seem to
- 10:28Speaker 1: fit your style of media, so maybe it wasn't a
- 10:30Speaker 1: misspeaker anyway.
- 10:32Speaker 3: All right, let's just move on. You know, rough start
- 10:34Speaker 3: there for you, Jason, but we'll let you bring it.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Okay, you can still make up ground here.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You only have twenty thirty years in TV. Maybe you
- 10:40Speaker 1: need one more. All right, let's start with the Skip
- 10:42Speaker 1: and Shannon breakup, right. You know, it sounds like they
- 10:44Speaker 1: really did not like each other at the end. There
- 10:47Speaker 1: you we all know you have worked on many debate
- 10:49Speaker 1: shows where you know, people started at the end to
- 10:52Speaker 1: let's say, take umbradge with you, you know, co host directors, producers,
- 10:56Speaker 1: network heads, wardrobe people and means, yeah, but now we
- 11:00Speaker 1: want to know whose side of you taking care Skip
- 11:02Speaker 1: of Shannon's.
- 11:04Speaker 5: That's a tough tough because I think they both have,
- 11:08Speaker 5: you know, compelling arguments they both have aside to their story.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I didn't like the way Shannon handled the Damar Hamblin
- 11:19Speaker 5: deal and threw Skip Bayless under the bus.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I didn't like that at all.
- 11:25Speaker 5: I have to admit Shannon did become the driving force
- 11:31Speaker 5: on that show. He was the star of that show,
- 11:35Speaker 5: and I have to admit that. But did Shannon treat
- 11:40Speaker 5: Skip properly in my view? In my view the Damar
- 11:44Speaker 5: Hamblin situation, throwing him under a bus, I didn't like
- 11:48Speaker 5: that at all, and I understand why that doom the
- 11:52Speaker 5: relationship from Skip's point of view, Uh, you know, Skip's controlling,
- 11:58Speaker 5: uh treated you know, I think, in Shannon's mind, treated
- 12:02Speaker 5: Shannon as inferior and a stepchild for seven straight years
- 12:07Speaker 5: and probably should have given up some ground and made
- 12:12Speaker 5: it more of a fifty to fifty relationship in terms
- 12:14Speaker 5: of topics on the show and things like that.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I think Shannon had earned that. You know, he was
- 12:20Speaker 4: the star of that show.
- 12:22Speaker 1: That is the longest we've ever let anyone talk on
- 12:25Speaker 1: the show. So congratulations to.
- 12:27Speaker 2: You, because I admittedly took a nap during that answer.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Oh oh sorry, but okay, anyway, you know he's onto something, right.
- 12:34Speaker 1: We got a problem with these athletes on TV.
- 12:36Speaker 2: You know exactly what I was gonna say.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, these Hall of Fame athletes, they think they know
- 12:41Speaker 1: more than journalists.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Because yeah, they've been in the locker rooms and on
- 12:44Speaker 3: the field.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So what that doesn't that doesn't mean they know more
- 12:47Speaker 1: than journalists exactly.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So isn't Shannon from a journalistic point of view, actually
- 12:52Speaker 2: inferior to Skip?
- 12:53Speaker 4: It?
- 12:54Speaker 5: What about journalists from a journalation's point of view? No
- 12:56Speaker 5: question about it.
- 12:57Speaker 3: There you go.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Look, I thought it was a terrible look the way
- 13:01Speaker 5: Shannon turned into a groupie for Lebron James.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Shannon's a Hall.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Of Fame NFL player, and he went on TV for
- 13:10Speaker 5: five six straight years pretending to be a Lebron James groupie.
- 13:15Speaker 5: I thought that was beneath Shannon, and it certainly isn't
- 13:18Speaker 5: journalistically sound. And so yeah, skip the superior journalist, but Shannon,
- 13:23Speaker 5: the superior personality.
- 13:26Speaker 3: That is so well said.
- 13:27Speaker 2: You know, this is again agreement.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Forget the debate, agreement, This embrace debate is stupid. That's
- 13:35Speaker 1: why we're saying, erase debate. This is what should be two,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you know, three people getting together to agree on Yes.
- 13:42Speaker 2: No more embrace debate. That's over.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Let me say this, didn't you I thought it was
- 13:46Speaker 5: hilarious when Shannon grabbed a Kleenex on his last day
- 13:51Speaker 5: and I thought he was wiping away tears.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Skip, when you lay your head down tonight, I just
- 13:57Speaker 4: want you to see one thing. Give everything I had.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I give you everything. That was comical to me.
- 14:08Speaker 5: It was like, hold on, man, y'all weren't a war,
- 14:11Speaker 5: y'all weren't playing football or basketball games.
- 14:14Speaker 4: But I give you everything. Wow.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm kind of moved by this recreation so on
- 14:21Speaker 1: very emotions, sand and Sharp was faking it?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Is that what you're saying?
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, those two you can't be liking tweets calling Skip
- 14:29Speaker 5: a piece of doodoo and then the next day beyond
- 14:32Speaker 5: air about I love you Skip, thank you so much.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Wow, send this to the sports on me.
- 14:38Speaker 5: That's what he was doing exactly, and it was a
- 14:41Speaker 5: performance where Skip is a bit more authentic.
- 14:44Speaker 3: You know, Tony, I do agree Skip Bayless.
- 14:47Speaker 1: When I think of authenticity in this business, I think
- 14:50Speaker 1: of Skip Bayless, you know.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And I also think of you, Jason. And you don't
- 14:55Speaker 3: want to know why, because.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Even when you have takes that are terrible, you stick
- 14:59Speaker 1: by them. Ye. I started an article you posted today.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Here was the title of the article.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna read this to you, Nicola Djokitch's indifference to
- 15:09Speaker 1: NBA greatness speaks to the pitfall of globalism.
- 15:14Speaker 3: So that thanks the question.
- 15:15Speaker 1: When you wrote that article, were you trying to get
- 15:17Speaker 1: as few people to read it as humanly possible?
- 15:22Speaker 4: No? I was not.
- 15:23Speaker 5: I was trying to use sports to make a bigger
- 15:26Speaker 5: point about society at large. That's what I do all
- 15:30Speaker 5: the time, Guys.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Sounds fascinating. But all right, I keep going, yeah, go ahead,
- 15:35Speaker 3: I want to hear this. Take it.
- 15:36Speaker 5: So, I was connecting it to the larger thing that's
- 15:39Speaker 5: going on at large.
- 15:40Speaker 4: When you start bringing in foreign talent and.
- 15:46Speaker 5: Different cultures to America, you start losing the identity of
- 15:50Speaker 5: your institutions like the NBA or whatever.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You know, I got giving me. You wrote this whole article.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I got two words to refute it.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Yep.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Give it to him, Tony.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Joel Embiid, There you go.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Joel Embiid comes over to this country and immediately wins
- 16:09Speaker 1: a title. And of course we're talking about the scoring title. Yes,
- 16:13Speaker 1: more intensive than an NBA title. You gotta beat five
- 16:17Speaker 1: hundred players.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You can rely on your.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Team, you can't have your teammates do it for you.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Now, what do you say, Joel Embiid proves you're totally wrong?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Did you listen to the Doc Rivers interview with Bill Simmons.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Boy, stop listening to Doc Rivers on not in the
- 16:30Speaker 1: middle of Game seven.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Just like the rest of the Sixers.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Those guys are hard to coach.
- 16:35Speaker 5: Man, Joel Embid, you know, good player, but I don't
- 16:38Speaker 5: think he takes the game seriously enough.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Uh, scoring title, thirty three points a game.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your scoring average? From what I heard of
- 16:47Speaker 1: going on in Los Angeles?
- 16:49Speaker 3: It's zero?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, zero in Los Angeles.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we heard your Saturday nights are pretty empty there,
- 16:55Speaker 1: whitlock yep in Nashville too.
- 16:58Speaker 4: That's accurate.
- 17:00Speaker 1: See, that's see, that's called journalism. That's how you do
- 17:04Speaker 1: it right there, how you do a journalism learn wit Locksley.
- 17:07Speaker 1: We did the backstory.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I am now on the subject.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Of journal journalism. You're gonna you're gonna love this. In fact,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you're gonna kick yourself for not realize watch this. You know,
- 17:15Speaker 1: you know you're you like a conspiracy, right you do.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But you're kind of you kind of whiffed on this one.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You know, if you're in the past week, we've seen
- 17:23Speaker 1: two players, two athletes from the same random country win
- 17:27Speaker 1: major championships. You got Novak Djokovic, a Serbian, He goes
- 17:32Speaker 1: and wins the French Open. Then you got another Serbian,
- 17:34Speaker 1: Nicola Djokick, he wins the NBA Finals. It makes no
- 17:38Speaker 1: sense how this random country is producing all these dominant
- 17:41Speaker 1: athletes unless you look at one thing. Jason Chernobyl nuclear
- 17:46Speaker 1: accident forty years ago, and then of a sudden, now
- 17:49Speaker 1: you've got genetic mutations now appearing in the population. Over there,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you got a seven footer who can shoot three points
- 17:57Speaker 1: like a small person. Makes no sense unless you think
- 17:59Speaker 1: about it, your thoughts.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to give this some thought.
- 18:04Speaker 5: This some thought, man, This this is like, uh well,
- 18:08Speaker 5: the first time I ever saw a loose change about
- 18:11Speaker 5: nine to eleven.
- 18:12Speaker 4: It blew my mind.
- 18:13Speaker 2: See, he's jealoustony, he's jealous. So now he's jealous.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Maybe the nuclear thing has, you know, empowered these guys
- 18:23Speaker 5: and made them special athletes.
- 18:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to give this some thought.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I just come in and admit it's a folly Tony.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That is the finest piece of journalism I've ever heard.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I bowed nothing close to it. Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to say that.
- 18:39Speaker 2: See I know it, I know it.
- 18:41Speaker 6: You know.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Let me just tell yourself and Jason, you got your
- 18:45Speaker 1: egos too big, But you know it's all so big.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's the door and I'm gonna throw you right out
- 18:51Speaker 1: of it right now because you're up this show show.
- 18:55Speaker 5: I just got done exercising. I need to go eat.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I'm exercising my right.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Yeah, wait, exercise in your off the show from possessing
- 19:04Speaker 2: the show.
- 19:05Speaker 4: See ya, you know what this means?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Oh, get out of here, Jay, Hang up the phone.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Number one.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Number one is what that means?
- 19:16Speaker 2: Off the line, Jay, hang up the phone.
- 19:19Speaker 3: They have it people.
- 19:20Speaker 1: That's officially the nineteenth show that Jason Whitlock has been
- 19:23Speaker 1: thrown off of.
- 19:24Speaker 2: YEP, at some point we got to witlock him out
- 19:27Speaker 2: of the show. He can't come on anymore.
- 19:29Speaker 3: They're well said, Tony.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Know that a great way to turn around, because it's
- 19:32Speaker 1: otherwise a terrific show.

- 19:35Speaker 1: Of course, we want to thank you good friends, our
- 19:36Speaker 1: sponsor out Back Steady, thank you.

- 19:48Speaker 2: Hurry up?
- 19:49Speaker 6: You said the eighty six Celtics were better than this
- 19:52Speaker 6: year's Nuggets because they had more Hall of Famers.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, yeah totally.
- 19:59Speaker 6: But you do realize all those Celtics players weren't Hall
- 20:02Speaker 6: of famers when they were playing, so that argument is
- 20:06Speaker 6: just plain idiotic.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I'd like to see you on a
- 20:12Speaker 1: plane that crashes.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to be like most play is in
- 20:17Speaker 2: the Hall of Fame. Dead Yeah done, that's it. No more,
- 20:22Speaker 2: We're done.
- 20:23Speaker 6: No, you said Serbian athletes are so dominant because of
- 20:28Speaker 6: the nuclear effects of Chernobyl.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, crazy, upsetting, but true.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Yeah, if that even was true. Nuclear radiation doesn't make
- 20:38Speaker 6: it stronger. You only see that happen in comic books,
- 20:42Speaker 6: not in real life.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well you know what else you only see
- 20:47Speaker 1: in comic books nerds like you.

- 20:53Speaker 2: Your girlfriend. Yeah, he's done. Let's get out of it here,
- 20:58Speaker 2: we're done.
- 20:59Speaker 6: By the way, what you do realize why there's no
- 21:02Speaker 6: such country called Serbia thirty years ago?
- 21:04Speaker 2: It's mysterious, bro, very mysterious.
- 21:08Speaker 6: Serbia was part of Yugoslavia, then it declared independence in
- 21:13Speaker 6: two thousand and six. But I shouldn't be surprised if
- 21:17Speaker 6: you don't know that though.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, speaking of surprises, wait until you start
- 21:24Speaker 1: your car tonight.
