Latest / Solomonster Sounds Off / WWE Raw 8/11/25 Review | FOUR STRAIGHT WEEKS of Main Events Marred By A Lazy DQ Finish
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: WWE was north of the border tonight. They were in
- 0:04Speaker 1: Quebec City, So when you're in Canada, you can pretty
- 0:07Speaker 1: much bank that you're gonna get a really good crowd.
- 0:09Speaker 1: There's a great crowd, great crowd in Quebec City, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: we got some really good wrestling on the show, mainly
- 0:16Speaker 1: from EO Sky and Roxane Perez. That was a very
- 0:21Speaker 1: good match that those two ladies had tonight, and that
- 0:25Speaker 1: is where the compliments end for this show. We had
- 0:29Speaker 1: a tag team made event tonight. It was cmpunk in
- 0:32Speaker 1: La Knight taking on bron Breaker and Bronson Reid. And
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't want to sit here and tell you that
- 0:40Speaker 1: I expected that there would.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Be a clean finish in this main event.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It would be nice, right, It's always nice to get
- 0:46Speaker 1: a clean finish, but I can't really sit here and
- 0:49Speaker 1: tell you that I was expecting one. I feel like
- 0:53Speaker 1: I would have tolerated what we got tonight in that
- 0:56Speaker 1: main event at the finish a little bit better had
- 1:00Speaker 1: we not gotten disqualification after disqualification after disqualification after disqualification.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Every single week on this show, Seamus comes out, he
- 1:14Speaker 1: talks about banger after banger. We could talk about DQ
- 1:17Speaker 1: after DQ. After DQ, I want to take you back
- 1:20Speaker 1: to the gauntlet match that CM Punk one to earn
- 1:25Speaker 1: the right to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at
- 1:28Speaker 1: Summer Slam. I remember that gauntlet match they did. CM
- 1:32Speaker 1: Punk won that gauntlet. You would have to go all
- 1:34Speaker 1: the way back to that gauntlet to find a main
- 1:37Speaker 1: event match on this show that actually ended clean with
- 1:42Speaker 1: a clean, decisive winner. On July twenty first, technically even
- 1:48Speaker 1: though it didn't close the show, but the main event
- 1:50Speaker 1: of the show. Main event match on the show was
- 1:53Speaker 1: Stephanie Vaquier and Eosky, and that match ended in a disqualification.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So then you fast forward to July twenty eighth, we
- 2:03Speaker 1: had Jay Usso against Bronson Reid, which ended in a disqualification.
- 2:12Speaker 1: You fast forward to August fourth, last week's show, you
- 2:16Speaker 1: had seth Rawlins one on one against La Knight for
- 2:20Speaker 1: the World Heavyweight Championship in a match that ended in
- 2:24Speaker 1: a disqualification, And then we arrived tonight north of the border.
- 2:30Speaker 1: CM Punk doesn't matter what country we're in. That doesn't
- 2:33Speaker 1: seem to make a difference. We had Cmpunk in La
- 2:37Speaker 1: Night against bron Breaker and Bronson Reid and wouldn't you know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: how did this match end? It ended in a disqualification
- 2:46Speaker 1: and we had seth Rollins interfering in the match, which, honestly,
- 2:51Speaker 1: as a match, it was fine. It was a good
- 2:53Speaker 1: main event until we hit the finish and then I realized, boy,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I feel like I have suffered from deja vu. This
- 2:59Speaker 1: feeling washed over me as I watched seth Rawlins interfere
- 3:03Speaker 1: in this match, and I said, boy, you know, it
- 3:05Speaker 1: almost feels like I've seen this before. It's almost like
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm watching a rerun. And so seth Rawlins and brown
- 3:12Speaker 1: Breaker and Bronson Reed, they lay a beat down on
- 3:15Speaker 1: the baby Faces, and then jay Uso comes out and
- 3:18Speaker 1: he comes out with a chair to fight off the heels,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and then Adam Pierce comes out and Adam Pierce makes
- 3:24Speaker 1: the announcement of the World Heavyweight Championship match that we
- 3:27Speaker 1: are going to get at the end of the month
- 3:30Speaker 1: at Clash in Paris. Now, I was hoping that we
- 3:33Speaker 1: would get a championship match and not some kind of
- 3:35Speaker 1: a six man tag because that would have been fucking lame, right,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and nobody wants to see that. CM Punk and La
- 3:41Speaker 1: Knight both have valid reasons to want to get a
- 3:45Speaker 1: rematch with seth Rawlins. CM Punk was champion for five
- 3:48Speaker 1: minutes at Summerslim and he got screwed out of the
- 3:50Speaker 1: World Heavyweight title. La Knight on last week's show got
- 3:54Speaker 1: screwed out of the World Heavyweight title when CM punk
- 3:57Speaker 1: interfered in his business. So it only makes that they
- 4:00Speaker 1: would stake their claim and maybe we would get a
- 4:03Speaker 1: triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. But we
- 4:06Speaker 1: can't have a triple threat match because we have to
- 4:08Speaker 1: insert one more in person. And you would think, boy,
- 4:11Speaker 1: they're gonna put Roman Reigns in that match. I really
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't want to see that because I'd rather not have
- 4:17Speaker 1: Roman in Seth in the ring together unless they're gonna
- 4:19Speaker 1: go one on one. Well, it's not Roman Reigns. You
- 4:21Speaker 1: don't got to worry about that. He may have a
- 4:24Speaker 1: different match on that show. No, they put jay Usso
- 4:29Speaker 1: in that to make it a four way match in Paris,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and I'm sitting here and I'm going legitimately, and I
- 4:35Speaker 1: know he's a former world champion and all that that
- 4:38Speaker 1: was months ago. Legitimately, the only reason that Jay Usso
- 4:43Speaker 1: is in that match in Paris is for his entrance.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: That's it. They want the crowd to yeat and people
- 4:52Speaker 1: have fun when they yeat. And remember the reaction he
- 4:56Speaker 1: got in in Leon, France the last time when they
- 4:58Speaker 1: had backlash last year.
- 5:00Speaker 2: That's it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: That's the only reason that jay Uso was in that
- 5:03Speaker 1: main event at Clash in Paris because he really has
- 5:06Speaker 1: no business being in that match, but everybody is gonna
- 5:11Speaker 1: go yeat, and so he's got himself a World Championship
- 5:14Speaker 1: match and now we have a fatal four way on
- 5:17Speaker 1: that show, so that is official. And as far as
- 5:19Speaker 1: what Roman Reigns is going to be doing, Look, the
- 5:22Speaker 1: thing with Roman Reigns is that he's being advertised locally
- 5:26Speaker 1: anyway in Philadelphia for Raw next week, and he's being
- 5:30Speaker 1: advertised for the show the following week on the twenty fifth,
- 5:32Speaker 1: they're going to be in the UK, They're going to
- 5:34Speaker 1: be in Birmingham, So unless he's there for a dark match,
- 5:38Speaker 1: he's going to be back on Raw next week. And
- 5:41Speaker 1: the thing that would make the most sense, and we
- 5:42Speaker 1: actually had a video package tonight specifically focused on Bronson
- 5:46Speaker 1: Reid and talking about Roman Reigns and targeting Roman Reigns.
- 5:52Speaker 1: So it all fits together. He's been stealing the man's shoes.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Roman reigns against Bronson Reed feels like the match for
- 5:59Speaker 1: Clash in Paris out if they wanted to hold off
- 6:02Speaker 1: and push that match off for Perth because Roman's gone
- 6:07Speaker 1: all of September. That's when he's filming Street Fighter. He's
- 6:10Speaker 1: not leaving yet, so it's entirely possible. I mean October again,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it's still two months away. But if he's gone for
- 6:17Speaker 1: the entire month of September, then yes, it's possible we
- 6:20Speaker 1: could get that first Roman Reigns Bronze and redmatch for Perth.
- 6:25Speaker 1: It's too far away. If he's back on TV next week,
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's the match, so Roman will likely be occupied with him.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I don't know what bron Breaker does, but they'll figure
- 6:34Speaker 1: something out for him. But like, I'm watching this main
- 6:37Speaker 1: event tonight and just the laziness of what they do
- 6:43Speaker 1: where I sit here and I feel like I'm watching
- 6:45Speaker 1: a rerun every single week. It's just the show is
- 6:50Speaker 1: so creatively bankrupt right now. I mean, they shaved half
- 6:56Speaker 1: an hour off the show. It's not three hours anymore.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And then you have a week like this where again
- 7:02Speaker 1: it feels like a slog to sit through the show.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And that's the way I felt about SmackDown on Friday.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And I'm sitting here and I'm trying to debate, Wait,
- 7:09Speaker 1: which was worse. I'm not sitting here trying to debate
- 7:13Speaker 1: which was the better of the two shows. It's like, no,
- 7:15Speaker 1: which one was worse than the other, And so I
- 7:20Speaker 1: have to go SmackDown just because we got better wrestling
- 7:22Speaker 1: on Raw tonight. I mean, I can't honestly compare the
- 7:26Speaker 1: two shows and say that there was anything on SmackDown
- 7:28Speaker 1: that I remember being as good as the match that
- 7:31Speaker 1: Eosky in Roxane Perez had tonight.
- 7:32Speaker 2: So that's at least one point in favor of Raw.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But man, so far, coming out of Summerslim, these shows,
- 7:38Speaker 1: they do not inspire a lot of excitement when it
- 7:42Speaker 1: comes to Clash in Paris, for example. You know, it's
- 7:46Speaker 1: not like they didn't try to tell certain stories tonight.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You know, for example with Eosky and Osca and Kyrie
- 7:53Speaker 1: sayin right, I mean you could see where that's going.
- 7:55Speaker 1: There's a rift forming there. I don't know if the
- 7:58Speaker 1: Kabuki Warriors are officially going heel or not, but like
- 8:01Speaker 1: that's a direction they're taking. And that's fine. I mean
- 8:04Speaker 1: they've teased that now for several weeks. But I'm looking at,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you know, most of the rest of the show and
- 8:09Speaker 1: whatever the stories are that are, you know, kind of
- 8:12Speaker 1: in progress right now, and then shit like we got
- 8:15Speaker 1: at the end of the show. I'm just like, this
- 8:17Speaker 1: is just this feels creatively bankrupt right now. Where's the excitement.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Where's the stories that are gonna grab you and make
- 8:24Speaker 1: you want to tune in the following week? Man, I
- 8:26Speaker 1: can't wait to see what's gonna happen next week. There
- 8:29Speaker 1: really is no wondering. I know exactly what's gonna happen
- 8:31Speaker 1: next week. It's gonna basically be a variation of what
- 8:33Speaker 1: we saw this week. But man, when I when I
- 8:37Speaker 1: saw that main event finish and I realized that it
- 8:39Speaker 1: was four fucking weeks in a row of that, I mean,
- 8:43Speaker 1: there's just no excuse. There's no excuse, and it's all
- 8:48Speaker 1: on triple H. No excuse that we were supposed to
- 8:54Speaker 1: have a Women's World Heavyweight Championship match tonight and it
- 8:57Speaker 1: got pulled a few hours before the show because supposedly
- 9:02Speaker 1: medical did not clear Naomi. That's what they said publicly,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on. They did mention on
- 9:07Speaker 1: the show very briefly that Naomi was not medically cleared
- 9:10Speaker 1: and she was not on the show tonight. She was
- 9:12Speaker 1: not in a backstage segment, she didn't do a run in.
- 9:16Speaker 1: There was no other mention of her during the show.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So I don't know what the issue is or the
- 9:21Speaker 1: injury is, and so we'll leave it at that. Hopefully,
- 9:24Speaker 1: whatever it is, it's nothing serious. It's nothing that would
- 9:27Speaker 1: necessitate her having to vacate the championship. I don't know
- 9:31Speaker 1: if she got hurt, when that even would have happened,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I don't know. So we have very little information so
- 9:37Speaker 1: far in the way of what's going on in Naomi.
- 9:39Speaker 1: But that is why EO Sky was wrestling Roxanne Perez
- 9:43Speaker 1: and not wrestling Naomi for the championship tonight.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But that match that EO.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And Roxanne had that was, honestly for me anyway, the
- 9:50Speaker 1: highlight of the show, and credit to Roxanne. She was
- 9:55Speaker 1: great in the match, but crowd was super into EO again,
- 9:58Speaker 1: which is great to see. Even though she's out of
- 10:01Speaker 1: the world title picture right now. I mean, she was
- 10:04Speaker 1: supposed to get a world Championship match, but she's not
- 10:06Speaker 1: really in the world title scene at the moment. Hopefully
- 10:10Speaker 1: that momentum will carry over. But yeah, when this show
- 10:12Speaker 1: was over, I was just like, eh, like, what are
- 10:16Speaker 1: we doing here? What are we doing here? This is
- 10:22Speaker 1: not great TV? It's not and the main event finishes
- 10:28Speaker 1: over and over again. Something has to be done. Okay,
- 10:30Speaker 1: change it up. I'm begging you, please, for the love
- 10:32Speaker 1: of God, just change it up. This is your raw
- 10:37Speaker 1: on Netflix review. It's Monday night, August eleventh, twenty twenty five.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I am the solemn monster. Like and subscribe. Super chats
- 10:47Speaker 1: are open. We have a bonus goal going onto the
- 10:50Speaker 1: chap but on the likes end, you know, the drill.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Four hundred likes. It's the minimum that we're shooting for.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I do want to say thank you because we're very close.
- 10:58Speaker 1: We are less than one hundred subscribe was away from
- 11:01Speaker 1: eighty eight thousand. What was it in Back to the Future,
- 11:04Speaker 1: eighty eight miles an hour takes you to the future,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Take us to the future. Let's get to eighty eight thousand.
- 11:11Speaker 1: That's the next goal. So thank you for getting me
- 11:15Speaker 1: very close. I don't know when we're gonna hit it. It
- 11:16Speaker 1: might be, it might be a little bit, but we'll
- 11:19Speaker 1: we'll get there soon enough. So thank you for that.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Somebody in the chat said, do you think Naomi may
- 11:25Speaker 1: be pregnant. I don't know, nobody knows. It is interesting
- 11:30Speaker 1: that you mentioned that, though, because she had done an
- 11:32Speaker 1: interview and this was many, many months ago. It was
- 11:36Speaker 1: definitely earlier this year, and I know maybe she was
- 11:40Speaker 1: on some pot like the Bella's podcast, whatever it was,
- 11:45Speaker 1: but she was talking about wanting to start a family
- 11:47Speaker 1: and wanting to have kids and realizing that she's at
- 11:50Speaker 1: she's at an age now where if she's gonna do it,
- 11:53Speaker 1: she's gonna have to do it soon. So that is
- 11:56Speaker 1: that is something to wonder. I don't just mean if
- 12:00Speaker 1: if that's the reason that she was pulled from the show,
- 12:02Speaker 1: but even in the near term.
- 12:05Speaker 2: You know, it's something that I think is.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Easy to forget sometimes on the women's side, which is
- 12:10Speaker 1: that you do get to a certain age where you're
- 12:13Speaker 1: going to want to settle down and start a family,
- 12:17Speaker 1: if that is, if that is a goal of yours,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and yeah, the guys don't have to worry about that,
- 12:22Speaker 1: because hey, it could be fucking forty years old. Forty
- 12:25Speaker 1: five years old. They could they could be wrestling into
- 12:28Speaker 1: their fifties. It doesn't matter. But for the women who
- 12:31Speaker 1: want to have kids and start a family, yeah, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: mean that is it is a consideration, and Naomi is
- 12:36Speaker 1: on record as saying that is something she would like
- 12:38Speaker 1: to do. So I don't know that that has anything
- 12:40Speaker 1: to do with this, but I guess we'll find out
- 12:43Speaker 1: soon enough, won't we.
- 12:46Speaker 2: We don't know what we don't know.
- 12:50Speaker 1: But the show opened tonight with Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
- 12:54Speaker 2: They were at ringside.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They announced that Naomi was not medically cleared, and so
- 12:59Speaker 1: the Women's World Championship match that they advertised for tonight
- 13:02Speaker 1: was in fact not going to happen. It was canceled,
- 13:05Speaker 1: at which point CM Punk made his way out to
- 13:09Speaker 1: the ring and Punk got a great reception. He said
- 13:12Speaker 1: that the fans made it hard for him to be angry,
- 13:15Speaker 1: but then he thinks about how there should be gold
- 13:18Speaker 1: around his waist right now, and he gets angry all
- 13:20Speaker 1: over again, says I have a Seth Rollins problem. Don't
- 13:26Speaker 1: we all a few more finishes like that tonight? We're
- 13:30Speaker 1: all going to have a Seth Rollins problem. He added
- 13:32Speaker 1: that Rollins is trying his best to be CM Punk
- 13:35Speaker 1: but failing miserably. Punk recalled becoming champion for the first
- 13:39Speaker 1: time in WWE in over a dozen years. Punk said
- 13:44Speaker 1: that defans thought he was relentless in his pursuit of
- 13:47Speaker 1: his goals and he was obsessed with becoming champion. Then
- 13:50Speaker 1: he is even more obsessed with becoming champion and regaining
- 13:53Speaker 1: the title, so he knew to hate the game and
- 13:57Speaker 1: not the player. Punk's that he doesn't hate the game
- 14:01Speaker 1: because he's cashed in before, but he still hates the
- 14:04Speaker 1: player that is seth Rowins. Punk said Rollins would not
- 14:07Speaker 1: have to pretend to be injured because he would get
- 14:10Speaker 1: his hands on him and he would break his leg.
- 14:13Speaker 1: So then La Knight's music interrupted, he headed down to
- 14:16Speaker 1: the ring. Knight held his hand out for a handshake,
- 14:20Speaker 1: which Punk accepted, and Knight said that Punk was robbed
- 14:24Speaker 1: at SummerSlam and he deserves his rematch. But Knight recalled
- 14:28Speaker 1: Punk attacking Rollins during the match last week, which cost
- 14:32Speaker 1: him potentially the World Heavyweight Championship and got him disqualified.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Knight said that he understood, but it was the wrong place,
- 14:41Speaker 1: wrong time, so he said that he and Punk don't
- 14:43Speaker 1: have a problem, right, You and I are cool. He'd
- 14:46Speaker 1: like to keep it that way. He asked Punk to
- 14:49Speaker 1: go after Rollins. Go ahead, do it, but do it
- 14:52Speaker 1: after the bell, and Knight said that Punk will get
- 14:56Speaker 1: his rematch after he gets his punk ass Night if
- 15:01Speaker 1: he thought that he was going to become champion after
- 15:03Speaker 1: Rollins stomped your head in like a coconut on the
- 15:06Speaker 1: concrete last week, I saved you basically is what CM
- 15:09Speaker 1: Punk was saying to him. He said, you're welcome, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: he told him to get to the back of the line.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Knight said that when he thinks about what Punk did,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you know as far as saying thank you, he said,
- 15:21Speaker 1: thank is not the word that he would place in
- 15:24Speaker 1: front of the word you, and he recalled Punk, saying
- 15:28Speaker 1: that there are levels to this. He said Punk is
- 15:31Speaker 1: not on his level. Knight said he would do Punk
- 15:35Speaker 1: a favor by forgetting last week clean slate. It's like
- 15:38Speaker 1: it never happened, so long as Punk doesn't let it
- 15:41Speaker 1: happen again. So the second favor was that after he
- 15:46Speaker 1: beats Rollins, who wins the World Heavyweight Championship, Punk can
- 15:49Speaker 1: be his first successful title defense. So then Paul Hayman
- 15:53Speaker 1: comes out right, we hear, ladies and gentlemen. He walks
- 15:56Speaker 1: out onto stage with bron Breaker and with Bronton Reed,
- 15:59Speaker 1: who had bold pairs of Roman reins of shoes draped
- 16:02Speaker 1: over his neck. Hayman mocked the French fans by saying
- 16:06Speaker 1: a few words in French and then saying that he
- 16:08Speaker 1: would do whatever it took to get out of their
- 16:10Speaker 1: province as quickly as possible so that he could avoid
- 16:12Speaker 1: their guttural language. Haym Un told Knight that he should
- 16:16Speaker 1: avoid getting into the favor business with CM. Punk said
- 16:20Speaker 1: that doing so will take years off your life and
- 16:23Speaker 1: will cost you your tribal chief. Knight he had a
- 16:27Speaker 1: great line in here where he called Bronson Reid a
- 16:31Speaker 1: walking foot locker. That amused me. Punk cut Hayman off.
- 16:36Speaker 1: He said someone was gonna get punched in the face tonight.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He told Breaker and Reed to come on down. So
- 16:41Speaker 1: Hayman said he did teach Punk well. He said that
- 16:44Speaker 1: they can make it Punk and Knight against Breaker and
- 16:46Speaker 1: read right here tonight and l A. Knight said, look,
- 16:50Speaker 1: we're not looking for Breaker and Reed. He didn't seem
- 16:53Speaker 1: very interested in that, But then Punk cut him off
- 16:55Speaker 1: and said we accept and Night was not very happy
- 16:59Speaker 1: about that. He said Punk doesn't speak for him, but
- 17:01Speaker 1: then he accepted the challenge anyway. Hayman was ready to
- 17:05Speaker 1: head backstage, Breaker though, was not, and bron Breaker begins
- 17:09Speaker 1: to walk down the aisle because he's angry, and Bronson
- 17:14Speaker 1: Reid and Paul Hayman they have to stop him and
- 17:16Speaker 1: they have to restrain him. And this was the best
- 17:18Speaker 1: part of the entire segment. Bron Breaker is standing there
- 17:21Speaker 1: in the isleway and he's looking into the ring. He's
- 17:24Speaker 1: looking at CM Punk and he yells towards Punk, you're
- 17:26Speaker 1: forty seven. What are you gonna do? And he he
- 17:31Speaker 1: looks over at La Night and he says, you're forty
- 17:34Speaker 1: goes you guys are one hundred years old combined. The
- 17:40Speaker 1: Steiner math is not mathing here. That's number one. But
- 17:45Speaker 1: those last fifteen seconds were the best part of the
- 17:47Speaker 1: entire segment. It was a pretty paintbine numbers segment otherwise,
- 17:52Speaker 1: but then bron Breaker just made it all worthwhile there
- 17:55Speaker 1: with that little rant there at the end. He's great
- 18:00Speaker 1: when he comes to the trash talking. It's definitely something
- 18:02Speaker 1: I've noticed that he has done more of in the
- 18:04Speaker 1: last several weeks, and I don't know if that's just
- 18:07Speaker 1: something that was suggested to him by Paul Haman because Hayman,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I know Hayman works very closely with him behind the scenes.
- 18:13Speaker 1: But I definitely hope he keeps doing it, because like
- 18:17Speaker 1: when he's got somebody down in a rest hold or
- 18:20Speaker 1: a submission hold in the ring, it's at a tag match,
- 18:23Speaker 1: he looks up at the partner he did it with Roman,
- 18:24Speaker 1: it's Summer Slim. I think that's that's great. It's one
- 18:28Speaker 1: of the things I love about his whole act. But
- 18:32Speaker 1: he's not wrong. I mean, when you combine their ages,
- 18:34Speaker 1: they are actually eighty eight years old. It's not quite
- 18:38Speaker 1: a hundred so, but combined they are eighty eight years old,
- 18:43Speaker 1: only about five years younger than Rick Flair. So the
- 18:47Speaker 1: whole point of this was to build tension between Punk
- 18:50Speaker 1: and Knight and main event for the show, Candy Co exists.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I know, it's not like we haven't seen this before.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Backstage in the Judgment day Clubhouse, Finn Balor spoke with
- 19:03Speaker 1: Raquel Roxanne, j D McDonough, Dominic Mysterio showed up with
- 19:08Speaker 1: El Grande Americano and the others were not very happy
- 19:11Speaker 1: to see him. Why is he here? Who invited him
- 19:14Speaker 1: in here? Balor pulled Dom aside and said, look, I'm
- 19:17Speaker 1: pretty good at reading the room and the others don't
- 19:20Speaker 1: want him here, and dom said that it was part
- 19:23Speaker 1: of his strategy for Triple Mania this Saturday. Balor said,
- 19:27Speaker 1: you know, it would be great if Americano could help
- 19:29Speaker 1: you bring the Triple A Mega Championship back to the
- 19:31Speaker 1: Judgment day, so Dom and Americano they headed out. Balor
- 19:36Speaker 1: suggested to Riquel and Roxanne that they go speak with
- 19:39Speaker 1: Adam Pierce about getting themselves a rematch for the women's
- 19:43Speaker 1: tag team titles. That led to aj Styles and Dragon
- 19:49Speaker 1: Lee against Dominic, Mysterio and El Grande Americano seventy five
- 19:54Speaker 1: percent of the Triple Mania main event right here in
- 19:56Speaker 1: this match. The only one missing was Vikingo having a
- 20:00Speaker 1: four way for the Mega title on Saturday, so Dom
- 20:03Speaker 1: entered wearing a Lucha mask that he took off as
- 20:06Speaker 1: he headed to the ring. They also did they did
- 20:09Speaker 1: announce that Corey Graves and JBL not Conan. Conan is
- 20:14Speaker 1: being inducted on Saturday into the Triple A Hall of
- 20:16Speaker 1: Fame by Raymisterio. So the announced team for Triple Mania
- 20:21Speaker 1: will be Corey Graves and JBL. They'll be doing the
- 20:24Speaker 1: English commentary. And look, I know that JBL has made
- 20:28Speaker 1: a few appearances for Triple A earlier this year. Last
- 20:32Speaker 1: year he snuck into Triple Mania. He was a surprise
- 20:35Speaker 1: appearance on the show. I get all that, but the
- 20:39Speaker 1: idea that JBL is going to be providing the commentary
- 20:41Speaker 1: for Triple Mania is just very funny to me. So
- 20:46Speaker 1: Dragon Lee wiped out Americana with a dive before the
- 20:49Speaker 1: match even started, and that gave the baby Faces the
- 20:52Speaker 1: edge until they went to the commercial break. Dragon Lee
- 20:55Speaker 1: made a hot tag after the break, but the Heels
- 20:57Speaker 1: got the advantage again. This led to a second nine
- 21:01Speaker 1: minutes into the match. Americano ripped it Lee's mask during
- 21:06Speaker 1: the second break, and he exposed a decent amount of
- 21:09Speaker 1: his face. The match slowed down until it was time
- 21:12Speaker 1: to come back from the break, as is usually the formula,
- 21:17Speaker 1: Dragon Lee hit Americana with a double footstop. Dominic yanked
- 21:20Speaker 1: Styles off the apron to prevent a tag, but Styles
- 21:24Speaker 1: chased him around ringside and tackled him and a cameraman
- 21:28Speaker 1: over the barricade. Oops. Styles made a hot tag hit
- 21:33Speaker 1: Americana with the fireman's carry neck breaker. Don broke up
- 21:37Speaker 1: the cover, so Dragonly Monkey flipped Dominic right into a
- 21:42Speaker 1: Styles clash, which was actually a very cool spot. Americano, though,
- 21:46Speaker 1: shove Lee off the top rope, so AJ gave him
- 21:49Speaker 1: a reverse DDT. Outside the ring, Americano he tried slipping
- 21:53Speaker 1: the little steel plate into his mask, but he was
- 21:56Speaker 1: climbing up to the apron before he got the plate in,
- 21:59Speaker 1: and so before he can get it in, AJ caught
- 22:02Speaker 1: him with an in zaguri and he drops the metal
- 22:04Speaker 1: plate on the floor, but sitting on the floor outside
- 22:07Speaker 1: was dom Dom puts his lutram mask back on and
- 22:11Speaker 1: then he slips the metal plate under his mask.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Now Aj is in the ring. The match is still
- 22:19Speaker 2: in progress.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Here Styles rolls up Americana, who kicks out, and when
- 22:23Speaker 1: he kicks out, that sends Styles into the ropes. Dom
- 22:27Speaker 1: is on the apron and he gives AJ a head
- 22:29Speaker 1: butt and so AJ is completely out of it. He
- 22:33Speaker 1: stumbles backwards and Americano rolls him up for the three count.
- 22:39Speaker 1: So this was a solid match. It was a long
- 22:41Speaker 1: match too, it lasted over fifteen minutes, and honestly, it
- 22:45Speaker 1: was probably better than solid. But the reason I say
- 22:49Speaker 1: that it's a solid match and not a great match
- 22:51Speaker 1: is that it was a little hard to tell with
- 22:54Speaker 1: six minutes or seven minutes of fucking ads in the
- 22:58Speaker 1: middle of it. So he was only solid. No real
- 23:02Speaker 1: surprise here, no real surprise here to see AJ take.
- 23:05Speaker 2: The losing fall.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Think about it, like, seventy five percent of this match
- 23:07Speaker 1: is in the Triplemanium main event on Saturday. Why would
- 23:10Speaker 1: you beat any of these guys?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Why would you do that?
- 23:15Speaker 1: AJ loses. He had a cheat to beat him, So
- 23:19Speaker 1: it's not like it hurts AJ styles. All it does
- 23:22Speaker 1: is make him angrier and throw fuel on the fire
- 23:25Speaker 1: when he eventually gets his rematch for the IC title
- 23:27Speaker 1: against Dom. So the finish made all the sense in
- 23:30Speaker 1: the world to me. But again, everything else I saw
- 23:33Speaker 1: here was perfectly solid. So earlier today, Sammy's ain was
- 23:39Speaker 1: talking to Adam Pears in the back and he asked
- 23:42Speaker 1: him if he had decided on a World Championship match
- 23:44Speaker 1: yet for Clash in Paris. I got bad news for you, Sammy.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm afraid I've got some bad news You're not factored
- 23:52Speaker 1: into the equation here. He desperately wanted the match. He says,
- 23:56Speaker 1: I know I can be the world champion. He's like
- 23:59Speaker 1: the little engine could. It's getting to the point now
- 24:01Speaker 1: where if he constantly says it on TV, he looks desperate.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Pierce said that he couldn't make any promises, but he
- 24:08Speaker 1: told Sammy to focus on Russev tonight and then they
- 24:11Speaker 1: could talk about it. So Seamus walked in and Pierce said, look,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I don't want you going after Rusev again. I'm not
- 24:17Speaker 1: going to have a repeat of what happened on the
- 24:19Speaker 1: show last week. We're not going to have all the
- 24:21Speaker 1: mass chaos and all the mass carnage that we had
- 24:23Speaker 1: on Raw last Monday. And Seamus goes, oh yeah, who's
- 24:26Speaker 1: going to stop me? So Sammy butts in. He goes, look,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I know that you want to get your hands on Russev,
- 24:33Speaker 1: but this match tonight is very important to me. So
- 24:34Speaker 1: I'm asking you as a friend, please stay out of it.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And then Seamus agreed and he said, after the match
- 24:42Speaker 1: is over, he's going to go after that bulgarian bastard. Backstage,
- 24:48Speaker 1: Eo Sky lamented to Adam Pierce about not getting her
- 24:52Speaker 1: Women's World Championship match here tonight as promised Riquel Rodriguez
- 24:57Speaker 1: and Rox Sane Perez. They showed up to mack her
- 25:00Speaker 1: and EO said that she came to Quebec to fight,
- 25:04Speaker 1: so Adam Pierce made the match after EO challenged Rock
- 25:08Speaker 1: Sand It was going to be one on one that
- 25:10Speaker 1: was coming up a little bit later on Sammy Zane
- 25:14Speaker 1: one on one against Russev. This was in Sammy's home province,
- 25:19Speaker 1: so you can imagine the reaction that he got. He
- 25:21Speaker 1: was on SmackDown on Friday. They were or were they?
- 25:23Speaker 1: They were in Montreal and he got a great reaction there.
- 25:26Speaker 1: So he got another one tonight. Zayanne hit an Arabian
- 25:29Speaker 1: press to the floor, crowd popped. Russev though cut him
- 25:33Speaker 1: off with a Urinagi. Zayn made a comeback after a
- 25:36Speaker 1: break and hit a Tornado DDT. Sammy went for a
- 25:39Speaker 1: Halluva kick, but Russev cut him off with a Machka
- 25:42Speaker 1: kick for a two count. Sammy avoided the accolade, he
- 25:46Speaker 1: got a schoolboy that didn't work. Rusev avoided the exploder
- 25:50Speaker 1: and he hit Sammy with the ten beats I guess
- 25:54Speaker 1: just to piss off Seamus. The ten beats of the
- 25:58Speaker 1: Bulgarian I guess installed for too long though, So Sammy
- 26:02Speaker 1: hit an exploder in the corner, and then the camera
- 26:04Speaker 1: zoomed in super tight on Sammy as he was setting
- 26:07Speaker 1: up for the Halluvia kick. And when that happens, it's
- 26:09Speaker 1: because they don't want you to see what's going on outside.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Something is about to happen, and sure enough, and boy,
- 26:14Speaker 1: this certainly lit my world on fire today.
- 26:17Speaker 2: This got me excited.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You know what, I should change my whole opinion of
- 26:20Speaker 1: this show and flip it from a thumbs down to
- 26:21Speaker 1: a thumb's up. Because guess who showed up here? As
- 26:25Speaker 1: I feared. I talked about this in the SmackDown review
- 26:28Speaker 1: on Friday night. Guess who showed up for the disqualification
- 26:33Speaker 1: the favorite finish for Paula bec It was the MFTs.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Solo's Sokoa and his MFTs. They showed up on Raw
- 26:42Speaker 1: tonight and they dragged Sammy out of the ring. This,
- 26:47Speaker 1: of course, was payback for Sammy pinning Sola. If you
- 26:50Speaker 1: missed it, even though Sammy's Ain's on Raw, it doesn't
- 26:53Speaker 1: matter anymore. Of course, there is no brand split anymore.
- 26:56Speaker 1: So La Night now, I guess is officially on Monday
- 26:58Speaker 1: Night Raw. Great, that's where he should be. Sammy's ain.
- 27:02Speaker 1: He was on SmackDown because they were in Montreal. Fine,
- 27:05Speaker 1: who gives a shit. But it's a little weird because
- 27:07Speaker 1: he is technically a raw star and he pinned the
- 27:10Speaker 1: United States champion. Now, when you pin a champion on TV,
- 27:14Speaker 1: you best be getting a title shot because otherwise that's
- 27:17Speaker 1: pretty fucking stupid. So this was payback for him pinning
- 27:21Speaker 1: Solo Socoa on Friday night. They put the boots to
- 27:24Speaker 1: him outside on the floor. Officials run down to chase
- 27:28Speaker 1: them away. So off go the the MFTs. Stop provoking
- 27:34Speaker 1: these things into existing. Look, I just common sense. I
- 27:37Speaker 1: figure we're going to see them on Monday night, because
- 27:39Speaker 1: they had already announced that Sammy was wrestling Russev. I said,
- 27:42Speaker 1: these fucking guys are going to show up on a
- 27:44Speaker 1: row Monday night, and then there they were. So anyway,
- 27:47Speaker 1: the crowd was not happy about this, but then they
- 27:50Speaker 1: were when Seamus appeared out of the crowd. He caught
- 27:53Speaker 1: Russev with a knee strike. Seamus then tossed a security
- 27:57Speaker 1: geek over the announced desk before brawling with Russev through
- 28:02Speaker 1: the crowd and out of the arena. Michael Cole made
- 28:06Speaker 1: a comment in all this. He said that Sammy's Ain
- 28:08Speaker 1: might have gotten himself closer to a title match had
- 28:12Speaker 1: he won. Yes, a United States Championship match, not a
- 28:19Speaker 1: World Heavyweight championship. Man. Now is not the time to
- 28:23Speaker 1: be doing Sami's Ain going after the World Heavyweight Championship.
- 28:26Speaker 1: If you're gonna do it, you save that for the
- 28:28Speaker 1: end of the year, going into the Royal Rumble and
- 28:30Speaker 1: maybe heading into WrestleMania. And there are even some people
- 28:34Speaker 1: that don't want to hear that. That is one of
- 28:36Speaker 1: the stories though that I think we will likely said.
- 28:39Speaker 1: There's a couple of different options. Well, it's more than
- 28:42Speaker 1: a couple. But you can talk about Punk, you can
- 28:44Speaker 1: talk about Roman. I think the Sammy story would be
- 28:48Speaker 1: a nice story to tell if they tell it properly.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I think it's a story that could work, but it's
- 28:52Speaker 1: not a story to be told now. The United States
- 28:55Speaker 1: Championship is what he should be challenging for because he
- 28:58Speaker 1: pinned the champion. Now, I know every Everyboddy fucking pins solo,
- 29:01Speaker 1: so so it doesn't matter I may have a pinfall
- 29:03Speaker 1: win over Solo so COO. I don't remember, but that's
- 29:07Speaker 1: where Sammy's ain't appears to be heading now after the match,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and I think it came during the commercial break, So
- 29:14Speaker 1: if you weren't watching during the break, or you didn't
- 29:16Speaker 1: have your VPN or whatever, you may not have seen it.
- 29:19Speaker 1: But after the match, there was an amusing shot of
- 29:23Speaker 1: Michael Cole and Corey Graves. They had the camera on
- 29:26Speaker 1: the announcers their ringside and they're talking in the background.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Right behind them, right in front of the barricade.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Right behind them on.
- 29:33Speaker 1: The floor is the security guard that was thrown over
- 29:38Speaker 1: the desk by Shamus, and he is laying there and
- 29:40Speaker 1: he's in pain, and Michael Cole is just talking and
- 29:43Speaker 1: moving on to the next segment, and Corey Graves has
- 29:45Speaker 1: to stop him and say, uh, hello, he got this
- 29:49Speaker 1: guy over here because Cole didn't even notice him. He
- 29:52Speaker 1: looks down and he goes oh. He goes, yeah, I
- 29:54Speaker 1: don't care about that guy because he hit me in
- 29:56Speaker 1: the elbow. So basically, fuck that guy. That was Michael
- 30:01Speaker 1: Cole's attitude. He didn't give a shit about this guy.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Adam Pierce and security are backstage now. Solo beat Socoa
- 30:14Speaker 1: in Japan. Brother man, I've been all over the place.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Maybe it was in Japan.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I'll have to check my record and see if I
- 30:24Speaker 1: have a win over Solo. So maybe we got Boots
- 30:29Speaker 1: in the chat. I'm pretty sure Boots has a win
- 30:34Speaker 1: over Solo. So so Adam Pearce is in the back
- 30:39Speaker 1: now and he and security are leading Solo's crew out
- 30:42Speaker 1: of the building. That's the last we saw, Thank god
- 30:45Speaker 1: of the MFTs. Now. Pierce is also on the phone,
- 30:49Speaker 1: seemingly yelling at the SmackDown general manager Nick All this
- 30:53Speaker 1: about his men showing up on his show, as if
- 30:56Speaker 1: this doesn't happen every week, his men showing up on
- 30:59Speaker 1: his show. He gets interrupted by another referee who runs
- 31:03Speaker 1: over to inform him that we have finally separated Russev
- 31:06Speaker 1: and Seamus, and Pierce says, are you sure, because he
- 31:10Speaker 1: did such a great job last week, go back and
- 31:14Speaker 1: confirm it. Just make sure that you have in fact
- 31:16Speaker 1: separated them. And I guess they did, because we didn't
- 31:19Speaker 1: see or hear from Seamus or Russev for the rest
- 31:21Speaker 1: of the night last week. They kept cutting in right,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and they were brawling all over the building. That didn't
- 31:25Speaker 1: happen this week, so the referee ran off. Then Pierce
- 31:29Speaker 1: was interrupted by Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Grayson Waller,
- 31:35Speaker 1: and Woods was very upset because Penta last week ruined
- 31:38Speaker 1: his twelve thousand dollars hat, his Black Morning hat. So
- 31:44Speaker 1: Pierce said that Woods could take it up with Penta
- 31:47Speaker 1: in a match on next week's show. This is now
- 31:52Speaker 1: where they aired the Bronson read video promo video that
- 31:55Speaker 1: I mentioned earlier. He said that he became a big
- 31:58Speaker 1: star because he attacks Rolins. Reed said that he earned
- 32:02Speaker 1: Rollin's respect and he was invited into the Vision. Reid
- 32:07Speaker 1: said that he doesn't want Roman Reins his respect. He
- 32:09Speaker 1: said he punked out Rains twice and the only reason
- 32:12Speaker 1: that it hasn't happened a third time is because Roman
- 32:14Speaker 1: hasn't stepped up. Reed said that it will keep happening
- 32:18Speaker 1: until Roman acknowledges his tribal thief. So there you go.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I mean Roman, whenever he.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Comes back, and if he is likely in Paris, that's
- 32:28Speaker 1: the match, not a tag match. Roman reigns against Bronz
- 32:33Speaker 1: and Reed trying to get his shoes back the sneakers
- 32:38Speaker 1: are on the I can imagine what he must have
- 32:39Speaker 1: paid for those sneakers. They may as well attach one
- 32:42Speaker 1: of those Tony Kahn stipulations to the match, you know,
- 32:44Speaker 1: four hundred thousand dollars match.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I don't know, I mean those some of those shoes.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Who knows it could be one hundred thousand dollars worth
- 32:52Speaker 1: of sneakers right there. But that's clearly the direction that
- 32:56Speaker 1: they're headed in, and I'm okay with that. And maybe
- 32:59Speaker 1: it's a case where Roman beats Reed one on one
- 33:02Speaker 1: and then they build to Roman and bron Breaker one
- 33:05Speaker 1: on one. You know, maybe that could be the match
- 33:07Speaker 1: in Perth. So Eo Sky was shown walking backstage when
- 33:14Speaker 1: she encountered the Kabuki Warriors and Kyrie Say said that
- 33:19Speaker 1: they were sorry about EO losing her title match tonight.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Oscar said that they could be in EO's corner, and
- 33:25Speaker 1: EO said, I've beaten Roxane before I could handle her again. Thanks,
- 33:29Speaker 1: but no thanks, and off to the rings. She went
- 33:34Speaker 1: for her match one on one with Roxane Perez. EO
- 33:39Speaker 1: was in control. She wiped out Perez and Raquel outside
- 33:43Speaker 1: with a suicide dive, although Raquel took the brunt of
- 33:45Speaker 1: the impact. Perez just popped right back up and attacked
- 33:50Speaker 1: EO from behind to get the heat. Maybe I don't know,
- 33:52Speaker 1: maybe Eo was only supposed to hit Raquel, but she definitely,
- 33:57Speaker 1: you know, took both women out.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:58Speaker 1: It was just weird sing roxand just pop up like
- 34:01Speaker 1: nothing there. Eo made her come back after the commercial break.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Roxane brought Eo down off the top rope at one
- 34:08Speaker 1: point with her karana. Perez caught Eo with a knee
- 34:12Speaker 1: drop for a two count. The referee was distracted by Raquel,
- 34:17Speaker 1: so Perez raked EO's eyes and then hit a shining
- 34:20Speaker 1: Wizard covered her but only got two and again. The
- 34:22Speaker 1: crowd was super behind Eo here, so like every near fall,
- 34:26Speaker 1: Eo would kick out, place would go nuts, Eo would
- 34:29Speaker 1: pop up, she would do that the pose that she does,
- 34:32Speaker 1: and everybody loses their minds. She's fucking great. That's why
- 34:35Speaker 1: I say like her and Gunther. If I had to
- 34:38Speaker 1: pick two favorites right now, male and female in WWE,
- 34:41Speaker 1: and frankly, it doesn't even matter. I mean male, male
- 34:44Speaker 1: or female. The two best wrestlers in WWE right now,
- 34:48Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned Gunther and Eosky. Those are
- 34:51Speaker 1: my two. So it's great that she is still as
- 34:55Speaker 1: over as she is no matter where they go. Hopefully
- 34:58Speaker 1: that long may ca continue. But Roxanne, I don't want
- 35:02Speaker 1: to take anything away from her because she was doing
- 35:04Speaker 1: really well in this match too. So again the referee
- 35:08Speaker 1: was distracted by Raquel. We had the eye rake there by.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Roxanne Perez put EO in a cross face, but EO
- 35:15Speaker 1: eventually slipped out and hit a backbreaker for a two count.
- 35:19Speaker 1: EO then hit a springboard moonsalt outside to take out
- 35:22Speaker 1: both women right in front of the announced desk and
- 35:25Speaker 1: then back in the ring. This was the only hiccup
- 35:28Speaker 1: of the entire match. EO went for her genius of
- 35:30Speaker 1: the sky moonsalt and Roxanne got her knees up, but
- 35:36Speaker 1: it didn't really matter because what happened was EO was
- 35:40Speaker 1: and this is rare for EO, but EO was off.
- 35:43Speaker 1: She did not land in the position that she had
- 35:45Speaker 1: intended to, and so she did not connect with Roxanne's
- 35:49Speaker 1: knees at all, her knees, her boots, nothing. Instead, EO
- 35:54Speaker 1: when she came down, she drove her knees right down
- 35:57Speaker 1: into Roxanne's chest and at first glance, I thought she
- 36:00Speaker 1: landed right on her face, and Roxanne grabbed her face.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I'm like, oh no, but it was more like the chest.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I think where she landed it did it look like
- 36:09Speaker 1: a fun landing. But she was supposed to land on
- 36:12Speaker 1: the knees she didn't. But then she sold it anyway.
- 36:14Speaker 1: She sold it like she hurt her own knees because
- 36:17Speaker 1: she wasn't supposed to go for the pins, So what
- 36:18Speaker 1: are you going to do? Right, She's selling that she's hurt.
- 36:22Speaker 1: So both women were down as Raquel distracted the referee
- 36:26Speaker 1: for a second time. Here comes Oscar and here comes
- 36:29Speaker 1: Kyrie sing, and they go after Roxanne and they're holding
- 36:33Speaker 1: her on the apron and in comes Eo. Roxaneo ducks
- 36:37Speaker 1: out of the way and EO stops short. She puts
- 36:39Speaker 1: the brakes on before she collides with her friends, but
- 36:43Speaker 1: then Perez shoves EO into Oscar and Kyrie, knocking.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Them off the apron.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Roxanne rolls EO up while holding the tights and she
- 36:51Speaker 1: gets the wind and EO was very upset after the
- 36:55Speaker 1: match as she gazed down upon her friends on the
- 36:59Speaker 1: floor rings. This was a very good match, the best thing,
- 37:04Speaker 1: the best match on the entire show, and there were
- 37:06Speaker 1: several good matches on this show. Honestly, the wrestling, the
- 37:09Speaker 1: inn ring wrestling is what carried this show, and it
- 37:12Speaker 1: was nothing out of this world. But as far as
- 37:14Speaker 1: the wrestling goes, this was the highlight of the night
- 37:17Speaker 1: right here, even with the botched Moon Salt spot, and
- 37:21Speaker 1: the crowd was super into it. Rocks End's ye know,
- 37:24Speaker 1: it's funny on commentary they're talking about how you know,
- 37:27Speaker 1: she's the prodigy and she's Booker T's star pupil from
- 37:31Speaker 1: Reality of Wrestling and far advanced for her years, you know,
- 37:36Speaker 1: even though she hasn't been doing this very long and
- 37:38Speaker 1: she's you know, she's still relatively young, she works like
- 37:41Speaker 1: a veteran and there's a lot of truth to that,
- 37:44Speaker 1: you know, when I'm watching her in the ring, it
- 37:47Speaker 1: kind of feels that way, you know. So she's very
- 37:50Speaker 1: good and EO obviously is one of the best in
- 37:53Speaker 1: the world. So I don't know what kind of match
- 37:57Speaker 1: EO and Naomi would have had one on one. It
- 38:00Speaker 1: might it might have been very good, it might have
- 38:02Speaker 1: been only good. I think we probably ended up getting
- 38:06Speaker 1: the better in ring match of the two honestly, So
- 38:09Speaker 1: it's a shame we didn't get the Naomi match, but
- 38:11Speaker 1: they more than made up for it. I know the
- 38:13Speaker 1: World Championship wasn't on the line, but no one was
- 38:16Speaker 1: expecting EO Sky to win the belt back. I mean,
- 38:19Speaker 1: let's be i you you're fucking lying if you thought
- 38:21Speaker 1: that Eo Sky was winning that championship back tonight. So really,
- 38:25Speaker 1: what what did we really lose in that regard? Now
- 38:29Speaker 1: in the back later on, this is where the storytelling
- 38:34Speaker 1: aspect comes into play here in the back later on,
- 38:37Speaker 1: there's a very upset EO Sky who confronts Osca Kyrie,
- 38:41Speaker 1: saying is kind of in between them, trying to play peacemaker. Here,
- 38:44Speaker 1: Eo blames Oscar for the loss. Right, she told them thanks,
- 38:47Speaker 1: but no thanks, right, she didn't need their help, She
- 38:49Speaker 1: didn't ask for them to come out there. So she shoves.
- 38:54Speaker 1: She gives her a shove, or Oscar does rather. She
- 38:59Speaker 1: gives Eo a show, and Eo is shocked, and so
- 39:03Speaker 1: is Kyrie, and Osca just walks off, and Kyrie just
- 39:07Speaker 1: she looks at Eo. She looks in Oscar's direction. She
- 39:10Speaker 1: doesn't know what to do. Then ultimately she walks off
- 39:14Speaker 1: with Oscar. Then again later in another segment, EO is
- 39:19Speaker 1: just completely depressed. She's walking through the backstage area. She
- 39:23Speaker 1: runs into Stephanie Vicaire and Stephanie is getting these roles
- 39:27Speaker 1: where she's in the back for like ten seconds. Again,
- 39:30Speaker 1: we need more Stephanie Vicaire on these shows. But all
- 39:33Speaker 1: she did on this show was she ran into EO
- 39:37Speaker 1: and she said to her, you're not the only one
- 39:39Speaker 1: who is ODA World Championship match, and she walked off. Goodbye, Stephanie.
- 39:47Speaker 1: EO kept walking. Ria Ripley shows up, big pop from
- 39:51Speaker 1: all the fans in the arena, and Rhea tried reasoning
- 39:56Speaker 1: with EO and asks her if she really feels like
- 39:58Speaker 1: she could trust Oscar and Kyrie. ANDEO says she knows
- 40:02Speaker 1: what she's doing and she doesn't like it. She didn't
- 40:05Speaker 1: like the implication, and she told her stay out of it.
- 40:10Speaker 1: So are we going to get Oscar and Kyrie going heel?
- 40:14Speaker 1: Probably the real issue seems to be between Oscar and EO,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and less so Kyrie because in all of these segments
- 40:21Speaker 1: that they've done teasing some sort of jealousy or dissension,
- 40:27Speaker 1: you know, because Oscar is always the one right making
- 40:29Speaker 1: the comment like, oh your friend, where's your friend? RIEA. Ripley? Right?
- 40:33Speaker 1: And then tonight it was like, hey, we'll come out
- 40:36Speaker 1: there with you. That was Oscar's suggestion, and EO said no,
- 40:41Speaker 1: she declined, and then we had the miscommunication and then
- 40:45Speaker 1: so things are breaking down very quickly here. It could
- 40:49Speaker 1: be a case where Oscar goes hel, Kyrie's kind of
- 40:51Speaker 1: caught in the middle, or they'll just both turn heel
- 40:55Speaker 1: and they'll fucking attack.
- 40:56Speaker 2: EO one of these weeks.
- 40:57Speaker 1: But it felt to me, even a couple of weeks ago,
- 41:00Speaker 1: like the direction here, especially for Rhea.
- 41:03Speaker 2: What's Ria gonna?
- 41:04Speaker 1: I've been asking that question, what do you do with
- 41:06Speaker 1: Rhea Ripley until we get to Perth in October? Because
- 41:11Speaker 1: she'll be challenging for the championship at some point in
- 41:14Speaker 1: Perth in October, no doubt in my mind, what do
- 41:16Speaker 1: you do with her in the meantime? She's one of
- 41:18Speaker 1: the most popular stars they have. You got to get
- 41:20Speaker 1: her on the show. Well, this is it. She's right
- 41:23Speaker 1: in the middle of all this drama with Osca and
- 41:25Speaker 1: Kyrie and EO, and it's building to a tag team match.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So we're gonna get Ria, Ripley and Eosky against the
- 41:31Speaker 1: Kabuki Warriors. The only question is when and where do
- 41:33Speaker 1: they do that? In Paris? Right, that'd be a great
- 41:35Speaker 1: match to do in Paris. I just don't know, because again,
- 41:38Speaker 1: Triple H likes to keep those shows very tight. You're
- 41:41Speaker 1: not gonna have that many matches on the show, and
- 41:43Speaker 1: a lot of them are going to be contested for
- 41:45Speaker 1: a championship. Is there going to be room to do
- 41:47Speaker 1: a match like that?
- 41:48Speaker 2: There should be.
- 41:49Speaker 1: There absolutely should be Rhea, Ripley and Eosky or two
- 41:53Speaker 1: of the biggest stars in the entire roster. You don't
- 41:55Speaker 1: need a championship involved to get them on a show
- 41:58Speaker 1: like that. That should be the pl match. And so
- 42:02Speaker 1: for Rhea, that's how you kind of bridge the gap
- 42:05Speaker 1: and kill time between now and then, and then eventually
- 42:07Speaker 1: we can get Eo Sky one on one with Oscar.
- 42:10Speaker 1: That's the match I'd like to see. That's the match
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm waiting for. I mean, you could throw Kyrie in
- 42:17Speaker 1: and make it a triple threat. I don't need it
- 42:19Speaker 1: to be a triple threat. Just give me Eo and
- 42:21Speaker 1: Osco one on one. Today's episode is sponsored by Betterhelp.
- 42:26Speaker 1: These days, it feels like there's advice for everything. Eat this,

- 44:26Speaker 1: better help h e LP dot com slash Solomonster. So
- 44:32Speaker 1: Jackie Redmond in the back interviewed ja Uso. He said
- 44:36Speaker 1: it hurt him to miss raw last week and it
- 44:38Speaker 1: hurt him to see what happened to Roman Reigns said
- 44:41Speaker 1: he missed raw because he had family business to take
- 44:43Speaker 1: care of. Jay put Rollins and the bron Bronze on notice.
- 44:49Speaker 1: La Knight interrupted. He noted that people thought Jay was
- 44:53Speaker 1: conspicuous by his absence last week. People thought that, but not.
- 44:57Speaker 1: La Knight told him that the line for the World
- 45:02Speaker 1: Championship and to get their hands on seth Rollins starts
- 45:06Speaker 1: behind him, and so Jay offered to put Night at
- 45:11Speaker 1: the back of the line. So this was their way
- 45:15Speaker 1: of interjecting Jay Uso into something that honestly he didn't
- 45:19Speaker 1: really need to be a part of. But this is
- 45:21Speaker 1: what set the whole thing up. Here, we have Becky
- 45:25Speaker 1: Lynch against Maxine Duprex for the Women's Intercontinental Championship, and
- 45:32Speaker 1: I was wondering too, because yeah, they were in Canada
- 45:36Speaker 1: tonight and Naddy is the one who threw the challenge
- 45:40Speaker 1: out last week. And then Becky was like, no, no, no,
- 45:42Speaker 1: I want wrestle you. I'll wrestle her, I'll wrestle Maxine.
- 45:46Speaker 1: And I'm watching this and I'm like, man, why wouldn't
- 45:49Speaker 1: you want to do Becky and Natty in Canada? But
- 45:52Speaker 1: Maxine Dupree obviously is the stepping stone, right She's round one,
- 45:56Speaker 1: so this was round one. Lynch mocked Maxine told her
- 46:00Speaker 1: to get out of her ring, and Dupree look like
- 46:03Speaker 1: she was going to. She looked like she was about
- 46:04Speaker 1: to leave the ring. Instead, she gave Becky an arm drag.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Lynch took over anyway and hit multiple sup plexes. Maxine
- 46:12Speaker 1: countered though a man handle slam into a stunner. She
- 46:16Speaker 1: applied an ankle lock, but Becky rolled out of it.
- 46:20Speaker 1: That led to Maxine doing a very oddly timed cartwheel
- 46:24Speaker 1: here in the middle of this match, just showing off,
- 46:28Speaker 1: and then she booted Becky into the corner. Maxine hit
- 46:31Speaker 1: a flying crossbody for two. Then she hit a spin kick.
- 46:36Speaker 1: It didn't look great, but she tried. Then they traded cradles.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Becky tried stealing a win by grabbing the bottom rope.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Referee caught her, though Lynch applied to disarm her moments later,
- 46:47Speaker 1: and Maxine very quickly tapped out, so Becky retains. And
- 46:51Speaker 1: when the match was over and Natty got into the
- 46:53Speaker 1: ring to check on Maxine and then Becky booted her, so,
- 46:57Speaker 1: as expected, Becky Lynch against the Italia. That's likely going
- 47:02Speaker 1: to be the next match. Again, Maxine was she was
- 47:05Speaker 1: the warm up, is what she was. She was the
- 47:09Speaker 1: appetizer to the main course here, which was Becky Lynch
- 47:13Speaker 1: against Natty. Right, that's really the match that they're building
- 47:16Speaker 1: to here. Actually, the match they're really building too is
- 47:19Speaker 1: Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella, which we'll probably be in Paris,
- 47:23Speaker 1: but before we get there, I'm sure we'll get Becky
- 47:26Speaker 1: against Natty on raw. Look, Maxine, we don't get to
- 47:30Speaker 1: see Maxine very often. We don't get to see Maxine
- 47:33Speaker 1: very often period, let alone in the ring. Clearly she's
- 47:37Speaker 1: improved from where she was. I don't know a year ago.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I've lost all concept of time here because this woman
- 47:46Speaker 1: never ever gets in ring time on this show. She'll
- 47:49Speaker 1: get a cameo in the Women's Royal Rumble, she may
- 47:52Speaker 1: be in a Battle Royal every now and then. She's
- 47:55Speaker 1: not factored into anything meaningful on this show. So I
- 48:00Speaker 1: couldn't even tell you. I mean, I think she was
- 48:02Speaker 1: in the Battle Royal at Evolution. I could be wrong,
- 48:04Speaker 1: but beyond that, I couldn't tell you the last time
- 48:06Speaker 1: I saw Maxine Dupree in a match. Like supposedly her
- 48:10Speaker 1: and Natty were getting put together as this new tag team,
- 48:12Speaker 1: and they came up with a name, the Dungeon Dolls.
- 48:16Speaker 1: We haven't seen them. When was the last time we
- 48:17Speaker 1: saw the Dungeon Dolls on raw Never? I don't think,
- 48:21Speaker 1: in the history of the fucking show. So we don't
- 48:25Speaker 1: get to see her very often. I don't really have
- 48:26Speaker 1: anything to compare it to. And the problem for her
- 48:31Speaker 1: is she's improved a little bit, I guess, but you're
- 48:36Speaker 1: only going to improve so much if you're not being
- 48:38Speaker 1: given ring time. Like they even made the effort on
- 48:41Speaker 1: SmackDown at least to try to get BFAB in matches.
- 48:45Speaker 1: They don't even do that with Maxine. And they don't
- 48:47Speaker 1: run house shows anymore. Right, It's very rare that they're
- 48:51Speaker 1: gonna be on a European tour in a couple of
- 48:53Speaker 1: weeks and they've got a bunch of live events, but
- 48:55Speaker 1: that's rare. They really don't do house shows hardly at
- 48:58Speaker 1: all anymore. And Mark Shapiro of TKO has said they're
- 49:02Speaker 1: going to scale down even more next year, so at
- 49:04Speaker 1: some point there will be no house shows anymore. I
- 49:07Speaker 1: don't know how someone like Maxine dupree unless they send
- 49:10Speaker 1: her back to NXT for a short run down there
- 49:12Speaker 1: is supposed to get reps and actually improve. I'm sure
- 49:15Speaker 1: she's training, and she's probably in the ring with Natty
- 49:17Speaker 1: and that's great, but you can't replicate being in the
- 49:20Speaker 1: ring in an actual match in front of a live
- 49:22Speaker 1: crowd by doing stuff like that. So I don't know
- 49:26Speaker 1: how she's supposed to improve beyond the level that she's
- 49:29Speaker 1: at now if she's not actually allowed to wrestle matches.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I don't really understand how that's supposed to work. But
- 49:37Speaker 1: as far as her role on this match, she did fine.
- 49:42Speaker 1: That seth Rollins met with his crew backstage, and he
- 49:45Speaker 1: was in very good spirits because he thought that he
- 49:48Speaker 1: would have to deal with Sea I'm Punk in La
- 49:50Speaker 1: Night tonight, but instead they had to deal with bron
- 49:53Speaker 1: Breaker and Bronson Red instead. And like I'm listening to
- 49:57Speaker 1: him say this, and I'm just thinking, like, you, you
- 50:00Speaker 1: share a fucking locker room with these men, It's not
- 50:03Speaker 1: that hard for them to track you down and jump
- 50:04Speaker 1: your ass right there in the backstage area. Like, I
- 50:07Speaker 1: don't know what you're talking about. I could pretty much
- 50:09Speaker 1: kick your ass anytime they want Rollin said that I
- 50:13Speaker 1: guess my job is done here, so he left to
- 50:18Speaker 1: head for the personal jet to get out of Quebec City.
- 50:24Speaker 1: There was an extended video feature here on Bailey. It
- 50:27Speaker 1: was actually very well done. Who was talking like she's
- 50:30Speaker 1: at a crossroads in her career. She looked like she
- 50:32Speaker 1: was about to cry multiple times here and you could
- 50:36Speaker 1: hear it in her voice. She said that she's been
- 50:38Speaker 1: doing this for a long time, thirteen years. She wanted more,
- 50:42Speaker 1: but she felt less, She felt nothing. She was called
- 50:46Speaker 1: a role model long before she ever started calling herself one.
- 50:51Speaker 1: She wanted to be that person that people looked up to.
- 50:54Speaker 1: But now here she was all by herself. Everything that
- 50:57Speaker 1: led up to now has gotten her nowhere. She couldn't
- 51:00Speaker 1: remember the last time she felt proud of herself, and
- 51:03Speaker 1: it was her own fault and the camera it went
- 51:07Speaker 1: out of focus a little bit here and she was
- 51:09Speaker 1: acting like she had a headache or something, and then
- 51:13Speaker 1: the shot went black and then all you heard in
- 51:17Speaker 1: the background was that that heel cackle. Remember when she
- 51:21Speaker 1: used to do those ding dung hello segments. That that's
- 51:25Speaker 1: what it's from, that heel run. So they played that
- 51:29Speaker 1: little sound effect there at the end. They're clearly teasing
- 51:33Speaker 1: a heel turn, but they made it a little too obvious,
- 51:37Speaker 1: you know, when they played that sound there at the
- 51:38Speaker 1: end of the segment. I would have left that part out.
- 51:41Speaker 1: I thought that was a mistake to have that in there.
- 51:43Speaker 1: It really wasn't necessary. I thought the rest of the
- 51:46Speaker 1: video was well done, and that has me, you know,
- 51:50Speaker 1: curious as to where they go next. Do we get
- 51:54Speaker 1: more videos like this? Is there just going to be
- 51:57Speaker 1: a new Bailey the next time we see her in
- 51:59Speaker 1: the ring? Or are they going to slow the bill
- 52:00Speaker 1: to it? So I thought the rest of the segment
- 52:03Speaker 1: was very good, but it didn't need that last part there.
- 52:07Speaker 1: So they come back live to Jackie Redman. She's in
- 52:10Speaker 1: the back with Lyra. Valkyrie asked her about the video,
- 52:13Speaker 1: and Lyra hoped that Bailey was okay. She was kind
- 52:16Speaker 1: of caught off guard, a little rattled by the video.
- 52:21Speaker 1: She had no idea what was going on with Bailey
- 52:23Speaker 1: and said that she would not have known because Bailey
- 52:25Speaker 1: shut her out. And Lyra was struggling with how to
- 52:29Speaker 1: react to this, and she refused to accept any sort
- 52:32Speaker 1: of responsibility or that any of this was her fault.
- 52:34Speaker 1: She said Bailey was the reason that she couldn't challenge
- 52:37Speaker 1: for the Intercontinental title anymore. So she said this is
- 52:40Speaker 1: not my fault, and Bailey is on her own. She's
- 52:44Speaker 1: like the female Snitzky. Now it's not her fault. The
- 52:50Speaker 1: main event was CM Punk and La Knight against bron
- 52:54Speaker 1: Breaker and Bronson Reid. The baby Faces were in control
- 52:59Speaker 1: until the used a distraction to take over during the
- 53:02Speaker 1: commercial break. Night came back a Breaker, though knocked him
- 53:06Speaker 1: over the announced desk with his leaping clothesline off the apron.
- 53:10Speaker 1: That led to a second commercial break. Less than ten
- 53:13Speaker 1: minutes into this match, we had two breaks. Night began
- 53:18Speaker 1: crawling for the hot tag as Breaker was stalking outside
- 53:21Speaker 1: the ring to go after Punk. Punk saw it coming,
- 53:24Speaker 1: so a Breaker backed off, but that meant that Knight
- 53:26Speaker 1: couldn't make the tag When he tried to, The Bronze
- 53:29Speaker 1: gave Knight the old Steiner Brother's top rope Bulldog. Punk,
- 53:33Speaker 1: though broke up the pin attempt. Punk finally made the
- 53:36Speaker 1: hot tag and he hit Breaker with a leg lariat
- 53:39Speaker 1: and vertical suplex. Reid was about to go after Punk,
- 53:42Speaker 1: but Knight intercepted him with the baseball slide. Punk hit
- 53:45Speaker 1: Breaker with a flying elbow drop and then called for
- 53:48Speaker 1: the go to sleep, but of course he didn't go
- 53:52Speaker 1: to the jet. Here comes Seth Rollins and he runs
- 53:57Speaker 1: into the ring. He attacks Punk for the disqualification for
- 54:00Speaker 1: the fourth straight week on this show. The final match
- 54:05Speaker 1: of the night ends in a DQ and these fans
- 54:09Speaker 1: were not happy, and I don't blame them so because
- 54:13Speaker 1: it's really just rinse repeat with this show. That's what
- 54:15Speaker 1: it feels like. It is rinse repeat every single week
- 54:18Speaker 1: with this show. So the Heels attacked until Jay Usso
- 54:22Speaker 1: entered to his music. He attacked Breaker with a steel
- 54:25Speaker 1: chair in the aisle. Rollins bailed before Reid swatted the
- 54:28Speaker 1: chair away from Jay. Jay fought him off anyway and
- 54:32Speaker 1: knocked him out of the ring, and then Jay stood
- 54:34Speaker 1: tall in the ring with Cmpunk in La Night when
- 54:37Speaker 1: Adam Pierce walked out, and Pierce walked out on stage
- 54:41Speaker 1: and he told Rollins, you are going to have to
- 54:44Speaker 1: defend your World Heavyweight Championship in Paris. You're gonna have
- 54:48Speaker 1: to defend it not just against one person, You're gonna
- 54:51Speaker 1: defend it against multiple individuals. You're gonna defend your world
- 54:54Speaker 1: Heavyweight championship. He set against Jay Usso, You're gonna defend
- 54:58Speaker 1: your World Heavyweight Championship against and you are going to
- 55:01Speaker 1: defend your World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk and it
- 55:05Speaker 1: is going to be a fatal four way match and seth.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Rollins obviously was not very happy about this development.
- 55:13Speaker 2: So Punk was so happy.
- 55:14Speaker 1: That he celebrated by shaking the ropes like the ultimate Warrior.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Knight was less enthused. He argued with Punk. Knight shove Punk,
- 55:23Speaker 1: Punk then tackled him. Jay Usso was watching all of this.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Jay tried to pull Night off of Punk, so Knight
- 55:29Speaker 1: gave him a back elbow. Punk set up Night for
- 55:32Speaker 1: a go to sleep, but he got speared by Bron
- 55:34Speaker 1: Breaker and Rollins and his crew. They beat up all
- 55:37Speaker 1: the dumb baby faces. Breaker ran around the ring, He
- 55:41Speaker 1: spared La Night out on the floor. Reid gave Jay
- 55:44Speaker 1: a death valley driver and then a tsunami splash, and
- 55:47Speaker 1: then Rollins stomped Knight as he re entered the ring,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and then he stomped j and then Breaker and Reed.
- 55:54Speaker 1: They're holding CM Punk down on his knees and Rollins
- 55:58Speaker 1: is looking down at Punk. He's talking shit to him
- 56:01Speaker 1: and then Rollin's stomps punk and the vision they celebrate
- 56:06Speaker 1: as Raw goes off the air. The main event I
- 56:10Speaker 1: thought was going along fine until the stupid finish, the
- 56:13Speaker 1: very stupid, predictable finish. Uh. And as I said earlier,
- 56:17Speaker 1: it's not even that I would have necessarily, under normal
- 56:20Speaker 1: circumstances expected a clean finish in a match like this,
- 56:24Speaker 1: because they probably don't want to beat bron Breaker or
- 56:27Speaker 1: Bronson read right now after're you know, getting read ready
- 56:30Speaker 1: for Roman reigns. And it would have been easier to
- 56:34Speaker 1: accept and swallow if if they just weren't so goddamn
- 56:38Speaker 1: lazy every week with these finishes. I mean, it's ridiculous.
- 56:41Speaker 1: It is such a lazy cop out to do that
- 56:45Speaker 1: every single week, and they know their audience is just gonna,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you know, lap it up, because oh whatever, right, we
- 56:52Speaker 1: got our moments, you know, we get we get to
- 56:54Speaker 1: see all the big.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Stars, and so who gives a shit?
- 56:57Speaker 1: You know, not not everybody feels that way, but enough
- 56:59Speaker 1: people feel that way that they just feel like, well,
- 57:01Speaker 1: we can do whatever we want. We can be as
- 57:04Speaker 1: lazy and put in you know, you know, the just
- 57:07Speaker 1: very basic minimum amount of effort here of thought into
- 57:12Speaker 1: what we want to do on these shows, and that's
- 57:14Speaker 1: why you end up sitting here on a lot of weeks,
- 57:16Speaker 1: as I am sitting here right now after the last
- 57:18Speaker 1: three or four weeks with this feeling of just like
- 57:21Speaker 1: I feel like I've seen this story before. I feel
- 57:24Speaker 1: like this is not the first time I've seen this,
- 57:27Speaker 1: and that's not good. It's not a problem, by the way,
- 57:31Speaker 1: that's limited just a Monday night Raw, but it has
- 57:34Speaker 1: been a Monday night Raw problem for the last four weeks.
- 57:37Speaker 1: So now we have this four way in Paris again.
- 57:42Speaker 1: I don't know that anyone expects that the outcome is
- 57:45Speaker 1: going to be anything other than Seth Rollins retaining the
- 57:48Speaker 1: World Heavyweight Championships. So you look at this and go, Okay,
- 57:52Speaker 1: they're not just gonna pin CM punk again. Who is
- 57:55Speaker 1: in there to take the losing fall? Now you may
- 57:58Speaker 1: hear this and go, well, that's why Jay Uso is
- 58:01Speaker 1: in there. Jay Uso is in there to take the
- 58:03Speaker 1: losing fall. See I don't think so. I think La
- 58:05Speaker 1: Knight is in there to take the losing fall, and
- 58:07Speaker 1: they'll just beat him again because they have a lot
- 58:10Speaker 1: more invested in Jay Uso and look at jay Uso
- 58:13Speaker 1: is a bigger star than they do. La Night, La Knight,
- 58:16Speaker 1: to me and their eyes is the expendable one. So honestly,
- 58:20Speaker 1: if anybody other than La Knight takes the losing fall
- 58:22Speaker 1: on that match, I would be shocked. I think the
- 58:26Speaker 1: only reason jay Uso realistically is in this match isn't
- 58:30Speaker 1: even to take the losing fall. I think it's to
- 58:33Speaker 1: do this and get the entrance and come through the
- 58:36Speaker 1: crowd in Paris and everybody will be eating and it'll
- 58:38Speaker 1: be one of those moments that they love so much.
- 58:41Speaker 1: It's all about moments, and that's why he's in this match.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He really has no business being in this match. This
- 58:46Speaker 1: was an issue of Punk and Knight and it should
- 58:49Speaker 1: have been a triple threat match. But what else are
- 58:51Speaker 1: they going to do to get jay Uso on the show? Right?
- 58:53Speaker 1: They want to get him on the show, Well, this
- 58:55Speaker 1: is their way of getting him on the show. Overall,
- 58:59Speaker 1: this is a very dull episode of Raw EO Rock Sande.
- 59:04Speaker 1: That's the end ring highlight. There was other good wrestling
- 59:06Speaker 1: on the show. The main event had some good wrestling.
- 59:08Speaker 1: The Aja tag match with AJ and Dragon Lea against
- 59:13Speaker 1: Grande Americano and Dom. There was some good wrestling there too,
- 59:17Speaker 1: but just everything else in terms of the segments and
- 59:19Speaker 1: the storytelling, it just felt like nothing really hit for
- 59:23Speaker 1: me tonight. Yeah, I'm interested to see where the EO
- 59:27Speaker 1: and Oscar stuff goes, but beyond that, it's just rinse, repeat,
- 59:32Speaker 1: rinse repeat, paint by number shit with this show. This
- 59:36Speaker 1: was not a great episode of raw. This this was
- 59:39Speaker 1: not a great period of SmackDown in raw coming out
- 59:42Speaker 1: of SummerSlam week. I am not impressed. How would you
- 59:48Speaker 1: greade raw? From Quebec City. Twenty five point eight percent
- 59:53Speaker 1: of you have given this show an A grade, Uh,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: thirty four point seven percent give it a B, twenty
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: one point four percent give it a C, and on
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the report card eighteen percent give it a D. At
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Solo Monster on Twitter is where you can go. All
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you professors out there, you can go give them whatever
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: grade you think they deserve. It was definitely not an
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a show. Let's take a look at your super chance.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I swear if we get another disqualification at the end
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: of the show last next week, I just I'm gonna
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: lose it. I'm gonna just fucking lose it. You imagine
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: five weeks in a row, they give us a main event,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: DQ finish start with d Site says, I hate this
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: stigma that wrestlers who are in their late thirties or
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: forties can't be top stars because look at DDP and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: WCW or aj Styles when he came to WWE, or
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Cody Rhoads when he came back to WWE. What are
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: your thoughts? I mean, who's saying that. Who's saying that
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: guys in their late thirties can't be top stars? I
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: think most of their top stars are in their late thirties,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: early forties. Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, how old is Jay
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: usso right, he's got to be getting up there, La Knight,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: CM Punk. I don't know how old is Drew McIntyre.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: What's he up to? Rollins? Rollins is probably forty. I
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: think that's pretty much the average age of all their
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: top stars right now in WWA. I think the idea
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: is that if you are someone who is of that
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: age who's only first now getting a big push, or
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: if you're relatively if you're a relative and this is rare,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: if you're like a relative newcomer or rookie who's getting
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in very late. That's that's rare though, like DDP is
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a rare case. I don't think DDP had his first
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: match until he was thirty five, So he's the exception,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: He's not the rule. But yeah, I mean the idea that,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you know, wrestlers who are of that age can't be
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: top stars. The idea is that if you are of
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: that age and have not been pushed previously as a
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: top star, they may be less likely to want to
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: first give you that level of push because if they
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: look at you and go, we need somebody who we
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: can build around for five to ten years, are they
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: more likely to do that with someone who's forty or
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: are they more likely to do that with someone who's
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: thirty three? Right, Damian Priest. Also, Damian Priest, I think
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: is forty or forty one? Penta is forty. A lot
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: of these guys who are already of that age. Dry
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Chicken says after watching WWE Unreal, the creative team in
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the writer's room are bland, like a pasta dinner without
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: any tomato sauce. It's time for the WWE talent to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: step up their imagination and start giving some creative input
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: with the creative team for their storylines. How do you
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: know they're not already doing that. We don't know if
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: they are or not. And you gotta be careful when
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you say that, because there are talents that will give
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: ideas that are even worse than the ideas that WWE
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: is pitching. Putting creative power into the hands of talent
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: isn't always a great thing. I think it's good for
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: everybody to have input. They could offer ideas and suggestions.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I think that's fine. Dry Chicken says a Killer Cross
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: in Darby Allen program on AW Television would be cinema.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Let's will it into existence. I don't think he would
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: be a good fit for AW. I don't I think
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Tony might push him out of the gate and then
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: he'll just get bored with him and he'll be fucking
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Lance Archer on that show.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I don't think AW is a good.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Fit for him at all. We got GMB no chance,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: but most likely to go Heal Cody or Bianca Byanca
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: more than Cody of the two Bianca Nick Grosso. What
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: are your thoughts on WWE possibly running a main roster
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: pl on the same day as All Out that's typical
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: petty wwe bullshit. I mean, are you really surprised, I
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: mean they do it on purpose. We know this already,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: just them being petty assholes. I knowb He says, Bron
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: slipped up on his math while shouting punkin Knight's combined age.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Better holler uncle Scott for a little math lesson. Yeah,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I'd be down for that. EV and m thank you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: for the thirty dollars drop ashure. Let's take a look
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: at what he said here. I wanted to come in
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and celebrate my birthday with you and the family tonight,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: but I found out my aunt passed away yesterday. Oh no,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: my heart was already heavy heading into today, but yesterday
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: broke me. I thank you and the family very much. Well,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I'm very sorry to hear that. I think we're all
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: very sorry for your loss. I will wish you a
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: happy I know it's not very happy for you, but
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I'll wish you a happy birthday anyway, and hopefully you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: can take your mind off it for a little bit.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: But that is awful. I'm very sorry. Pro Wrestling Fan
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: nineteen ninety five celebrating thirty seven months of membership. I
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: used to care about the WWE brand split. But at
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: this point it's a complete and utter clown show. Triple
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: knows needs to end it if he isn't going to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: honor it. He doesn't give a shit, I mean on
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the brand splits that he's just as bad as Vince
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: on the brand split stuff. They don't care. It's a
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: way for them to separate the rosters to a degree,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: but they're gonna make the moves that they want to make.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: And the thing is, you get two general managers and
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: they don't even incorporate them into it.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Right, They just show up.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: And then like tonight, Adam Pierce gets angry and he
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: calls Nick all this and he bitches him out on
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: the phone. It's like, why are they not working together
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to either trade people or work out arrangements where so
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and so will show up on the show next week
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and then we'll have an IOU and we can get
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: somebody from their brand to come on our show one day. Like,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: they don't do it. They don't do it, they don't care.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: They're lazy when it comes to that stuff. They're very lazy.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Bass Bears says, laughing my ass off. Oh that I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: don't know, dude, I have no idea. Your guess is
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: as good as mine. But to go back to Jeremy Roses,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I didn't forget about you, Jeremy.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: We wanted to know.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Do I think Seth and Punk will have a Hell
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: and a Cell match at the September pl E.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I hope not.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: We just had a CM Punk Helen a Cell match
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: with Drew McIntyre last year. I don't want to see
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: another one. Come up with some other stipulation for it.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: If you're gonna do it on that show. And he says,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I think Cross is re signed and will cost sam
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I mean Sammy if he's gonna go for the championship
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: is something that's further down the line. But I'm gonna
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: say no. I'm going to say no. Dry chicking Man's
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Warner and Steph de Lander are a great couple, and
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: they are also nasty. What they did to Santina Morello's
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: office on TNA Birds and the Bees. I did not
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: see what they did, so I cannot comment on it.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Alex says brother Solo.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: We might need Teddy Long to return and announce he
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: disquadqualification match in order for us not to get a
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: DQ finish. Unreal it is unreal. Jeremy says, Roman versus
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Bronson choose on a pole match. Josh Carlos ninety eight,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: remember Stephanie Kier being number one contender? Whilp. Yeah, I
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: don't know. Again, I don't know what's going on with Naomi.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I guess uh. Look, I mean, if it is something
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: that is going to keep her out of the ring
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: for a while, then you know, I mean, they'll have
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: to work something out as far as how they want
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: to handle that whole situation. But it's just it's premature
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: to until we know more. It's just premature to even
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: try to book, Like, how is Stephanie going to get
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: her shot?
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Right now?
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Stephanie and Naomi is the match for Paris until we
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: hear otherwise retro koah am I the only one sick
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: of hearing there are levels to this. I don't know why,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: but that phrase just makes me cringe. Maybe it's just me. No,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: it's it's pretty cringey. Once everybody starts saying it, it
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: becomes pretty cringey. Dried Chicken says I would intentionally piss
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: off Triple H saying sixty nine, I would in saying
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: what you would say sixty nine. What the hell are
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you talking about? Jason says, shouldn't Bronson Reid's finisher be
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: called the shoe Nami?
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Now it should? Yeah, absolutely, He's got the shoe Lafalla.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: It should be the shoe Nami. The shoe Nammy splash,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: shoe NAMMI spla boy, say that five times fast, the
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: shoe Nami spz.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: I can't say it once.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Uh, Matthew, what do you think of a Cody versus
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Orton feud? Since Orton was leader of legacy and mentored
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Road seems obvious and I'm shocked they haven't done it yet.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Matthew.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I've been talking about this possible feud for a year now,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: so I'm with you. I mean, there's a lot of
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: history to draw on there, this history, even from the
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: last few months and Cody beating him in the King
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: of the Ring finals, So that is a few that
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I am surprised that they have not already done, and
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: they absolutely need to do. Lost Dill three months of
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: channel membership. Appreciate all your hard work and dedication always
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: getting me through my nights at work. Thank you, Solo, Well,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: thank you Lost Dill. I'm glad to have you with
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: us on all of these streams. Joseph Brooks on WWE
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: two K twenty five. I'm doing a true WCW invasion
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: in universe mode. I need help for a war Games
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: match from my invasion pay per view. So for my
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: car his Stone Cold against Goldberg, Undertaker against Sting, DDP
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: against Rock og Kane against the Giant. Well, you've taken
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: a lot of big names out of your Wargames match.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Ideally I would want to have some of those names
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: in wargames. See, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't have
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: war Games on that same show. I think you're blowing
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: through all your big matches on one night. Why would
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: you do that? It's terrible promotion. You need to have
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: your fantasy card with a bunch of matches like that
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: and save war Games for the next big show, so
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: that way you can get people like Sting and DDP
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: and Rock and Austin in wargames. Jeremy Rose, who did
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you think was the third man or the third man
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: was going to be in nineteen ninety six. I don't
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: remember who I thought it was going to be. It
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: wasn't Hogan. I think you know what I think my
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: thought was it was going to be Stinger Luger. I
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: think I was leaning towards Luger, that somebody in the
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: course of the match was gonna turn And when they
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: did the injury angle with Luger to get him out
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: of the match, I thought, Okay, it's got to be Luger.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I wasn't thinking Hogan though. Bobby means, I do believe
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: we are on a collision course for Bailey Lyra. Plus,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I think Maxine Dupre and NXTA makes sense to me.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I mean, she never should have been called up from
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: NXT to begin with before she was ready. It's the
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: whole fucking point of NXT. I don't understand that. I
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: really don't. And then Eo versus Stephanie is pure cinner
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Is that word again? Is that word again? Em and
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: M I wanted to come in and celebrate my birthday
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: with the well we read this one already again. We
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: extend our condolences to our good friend for his loss.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: But happy birthday, my friend, as happy as it could
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: possibly be. Now look at that two more orange here
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: we might unlock a bonus be the booker. Bass Beer says,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: yes again, I don't know Matt Fisher says, it's bremode.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: It's always pre mode around here. Also, the only way
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: it could be more perfect is another bre mode. I
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: should have figured it was you both times, mister Ruby Dog,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Joey Ryan next hog show book it Well, if on
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: some farm somewhere they actually do have hog shows with
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: a bunch of hogs, he can certainly be a part
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: of that show. But he won't be a part of
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: our hog show. He wants to go roll around with
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: pigs somewhere by all means what he does in his
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: personal time. I really don't give a shit. Angel nine
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: months of membership. Totally agree with Solo Monster not a
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: great show. But eo versus Rock Sande was so good
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Arabian Night. With how dull the show was, I'm disappointed
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: the Quebec crowd didn't start. We want cross chance. My opinion,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: his departure is not a work. Not everything is. That
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: is true, Not everything is. I do not believe it
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: to be a work. We'll just say that.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: We got eminem.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: If there is one thing that I can do to
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: make everyone's day, I would need Nick Wayne's mom's help. Okay, well,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: he's the one who wanted to hear the song. So
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: there you go. You can thank Eminem for it's a
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: damn good song. Thank you, Eminem.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Bobby's World.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Sorry to do this to you, brother, but I see
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: you're having issues with the chats. Did you miss mine
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: or did you read it and I missed it? Now
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I read yours? Yeah, actually I just I literally just
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: read it. Oh man, I hate this update. Let me,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I am we might have to get rid of the screen.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Just keep it on me like this is driving me nuts,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: and I love I just love the answer they gave
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: me too, like nope, can I pause.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: Them or something?
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Nope? Like oh okay. It's very interesting to me when
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: companies actually make updates to a program or a product
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: and they actively make it worse. Don't you just love
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: that they actively make it worse than it was before.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Good job, guys, Cameo Johnson, been a fan since my
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: military days in Europe. Respect for holding it down during
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: the dark era of WWE when it was unwatchable. Ever
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: visit Chicago beers on me.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Thank you, Cameo.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I appreciate you very much. I pop into Chicago every
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: few months for hog should come down to one of
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: the shows, probably be back there in November, most likely November.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I don't know what venue I think we've I think
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: we've outgrown our previous venue. But I'm looking forward to
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: getting back to Chicago in a few months. Bace Beers
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: says nine ninety nine with a nine to ninety nine
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: super chat. I still have that nine ninety nine network
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: promotion burned into my brain. They know how to market.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I'll tell you that, doctor Scorpio. What's the difference between
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: a good joke and a bad clock timing?
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Lol? I'll show myself out just showing some love. You know.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: If I didn't like you, I don't know what I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: would say, but it wouldn't be very nice. But I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: do like you, so thank you, Doctor Scorpio. Terrible Dried
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Chicken says kill her Across and Scarlet should be the
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: host for an indie Halloween event. I know Scarlet is
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: very much into the like spooky Halloween stuff like WWE
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: on their YouTube channel has in the past posted stuff
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: with Shatzi and Scarlet visiting haunted houses and stuff, so
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I know she's really into that.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: I love Halloween.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: They're actually opening a Spirit Halloween not too far from
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: me soon. Once that's open, I'll be browsing around. Devin says,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: what were some of young Solo's favorite Colisseum home videos
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: growing up? Smack Them Whackham is my favorite one. Probably
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: that's the one that has the first Brett Hart world
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: title change against Rick Flair. I was amazed that they
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: would just put that on a Colisseum video. You don't
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: see that very often, like a WWF title change on
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: a coliseum video that didn't err on TV. So that
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: was one. I mean, there were a bunch that I
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: had or that I rented. Invasion of the Body Slammers,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: a bunch of wrestle fest videos. Yeah, the wrestle fests
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: maybe smack them Whackam and then the wrestle fests were
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: probably the ones I liked the most. Darth Panic be
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: the Booker. Yes, indeed, Doctor Scorpio. My streamer tried to
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: do a sponsored stream, but all he did was complained
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: about the product.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Okay, I'm done.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Sorry. My streamer tried to do a sponsored stream, but
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: all he did was oh my god. M and M says,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: let's end my birthday on a high note with double
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: B the Booker. It will be absolute cinema. You're correct, sir,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Cameo Johnson. If you can pick three dream matches, what
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: would they be. Well, I've often said Brett Hard against
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Kurt Angle. I know they very much wanted to work together.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: It just obviously never worked out. But Brett and Kurt
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: would have been won. Hmm. Like the biggest dream matches,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Savage was in one I always wanted to see set
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: thought Savage and I know for some reason, I always
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: thought Savage and Folly as Mankind. I don't know if
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: that would be the top of my list, but like
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: that was always one of those matches. I was like,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: man that would have been a great match, like with
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Savage in his prime against Mankind, like ninety six Mankind
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: when he was at his physical peak doing that character.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Shawn Michaels in the Rock was always a match that
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I felt like we really missed out on Austin and
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Hogan just for the marquee value of it. Obviously that's
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: a huge match. So those are some of them. Today's
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: episode is sponsored by Hymns coming out of Summer Slim.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Last week there was a wrestler in the news I
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: won't say who, but he was talking about his hair
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: loss and how much it really affected him and his
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: quality of life and how he wished he would have
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: taken steps to address the issue years ago. And you
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: can understand why. You know, it's a cosmetic business that
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: they're in. This person's on TV all the time, very visible,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: but there are thousands of men out there going through
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: the exact same thing who are not public figures, They
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: are not on television in front of millions of people,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: but they can still feel that same shame, and they
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: shouldn't because there's nothing to be ashamed of. Thinning hair
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: is a problem that affects lots of people, and if

- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Arabia and I Financially and national exposure wise, aw makes
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: the most sense for Cross. He hated his time in
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: TNA and how they treated him, specifically, especially financially. Do
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you remember, yeah, but you got to remember something that
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: was a different time in TNA. It's under different management now,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: and if he has any goals of returning to WWE,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: TNA is probably the best place for him. There were issues.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I do believe there were issues with them or Scarlett
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: and Don Kallus that could be a factor. I mean,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: callous works in AW. Now that's a whole situation I'm
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: not going to get into. But for maybe that reason,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: and also just I don't think Cross is a good fit.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I don't think he's someone Tony Khan would push. I
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: don't think he's the kind of performer or wrestler that
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Tony Khan is going to be gung ho about in
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: the way that he is people on his roster like
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: a Will Osprey or Swerve Strickland. So I feel like
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: he might be hot out of the gate, and then
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: even if there is something there to capitalize on, it'll
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: be like the WWE thing all over again and.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: It'll just die. So if it's just purely about.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Money, sure, you know he could. He could try and
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: see if there's interest in going to AW. I just
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: don't think that's going to be a good fit. I
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: don't think that Tony Kahan would do much more with
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: him than what Triple h did. I think TNA could work.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I think New Japan could work. And I don't know
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: that they're spending a lot of money on you know,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: foreign talent right now. But AW would be very low
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: down on the list of places that I think cross
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: if you went with Thriving. This my opinion, Jeremy Rose.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Funny thing about commentary during Hogan's heel turn is Bobby
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Heenen saying he knew it the whole time and continued
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to bury Hogan. Lol. He was the goat. Why wouldn't
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: he his whole career, even going back to the Twin
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Cities in the AWA when he was managing Nick Bockwinkle,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: he was feuding with Hogan, so of course he would
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: hate the guy regardless. He was consistent in his hatred
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: for Hogan. Doctor Scorpio again, thank you for that super chat. Duffsvids.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: What are your top three favorite holidays? In order? Thank
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: you for your stream solo. Thank you for all the
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: love dufsvids. You help keep this place running. I appreciate you. Halloween.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Halloween is definitely number one in order. Huh, Halloween?
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Christmas?
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Do I even have a third that I feel that
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: strongly about? I really don't. Thanksgiving. Yeah, Thanksgiving, I would say,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: if I had to rank them in order, you know what,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: here's here's the order, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas in that order. Christmas,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: I just like the festive season, the lights like I
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: like that aspect of it. Thanksgiving love the food, hanging
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: out with you know, family that you know we still
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: get to hang out with. But Halloween is my number one.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Noodle puddings, Daddy Ugarte knows noodle pudding. It is very
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: misleading when I call it noodle pudding, and I posted
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: pictures of it online before from Thanksgiving. I have a
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: cousin who makes we call it noodle putting. It's not putting.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: It's being very misleading. People think it's like a it's
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: like a fucking it's not putting it.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: The best way I.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: Could describe it is it's like a It's like a
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: noodle casserole. Basically picture is lice a cake, but instead
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: of cake, it's all these noodles and cinnamon and everything,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: and it's just sort of baked together. It's so good.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: I always have it on Thanksgiving. Kevin says, love carrying
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Cross's interview with Ariel Must Watch is that a new
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: one he did one previously near. I'd put Sammy in
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: that fatal four way instead of J. You know what,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: I'm not too gung ho about jumping into the Sammi
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: thing just yet, but yet you're right, I probably would
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: put him in there as well in place of J.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: Terrible Dried Chicken says, fuck it. Give Bailey a split
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: personality gimmick. I don't know. Can she pull it off?
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: There are some performers in wrestler who could pull off crazy.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: I think Alexa Bliss did a pretty good job of that.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: Daphne did a pretty good job at that back in
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: the day, Rosemary in TNA. I don't know. I say crazy,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: I mean that's it doesn't mean she has to be crazy.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: But again, if you're talking the split personality things, there
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: has to be something to differentiate the two. So I
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: just assume like one of her personas would be kind
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: of crazy, you know, and unhinged, and then the other
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: one could be the role model, like you want to
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: go to the opposite end of the spectrum. If you're
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: going to do two different personalities, can't she pull it off?
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: I don't know, got nothing to lose, It's not like
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Bailey has really been given much to do recently.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: That's terribly interesting, cameo Johnson.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: We know Vince is like Voldemort, but do you think
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: there are some things wwe being ignorantly corporate now that
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: he wouldn't go for. I mean, the number one thing
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: is the advertising and sponsorships on the mats. He always
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: wanted to keep a clean ring. He did not want
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: any sponsor logos on the mats around ringside. Well that's
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: not true because they did have stuff on, like the
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: led barricade, but they've gone so overboard with it, so
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: disgustingly overboard with it. That is one thing that he
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: would never have allowed. And it's one thing to have,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: like the slim gym logo right in the middle of
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: the ring, like okay, fine, I don't even have an
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: issue with that, but having i mean literally like seven
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: or eight logos all over the mat and then the
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: turnbuckles and everything like that's something you would never have
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: seen if he was still in power, you would never
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: have seen that. But they just they're gonna make money
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: any way they can, anyway that you can. That's why
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: you're hearing talk about, you know, possibly to WrestleMania is
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: one of these years, you know, you give one to
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Saudi and you do the regular WrestleMania. So now instead
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: of having too WrestleMania Maine events a year, we're gonna
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: have fo WrestleMania Maine events a year, to the point
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: where being in the WrestleMania main event won't mean anything.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: It'll mean nothing. That's where we're headed. WrestleMania every month.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: Remember when we had WrestleMania Backlash a few years ago.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: It'll be that all over again. WrestleMania Backlash, WrestleMania Bad Blood,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: WrestleMania money in the bank. It's ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. Who's
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: to say Vince wouldn't have changed his mind because he's
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: an old fucker. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: It's the one thing he held on to, like grim death.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: He would not allow his mat to be debased in
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: that way. And even if he would have, I think
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: he would have gone as far as having one sponsor
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: in the middle of the ring like WCW used to do.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: They had Snickers, they had Slimjim, but not all over
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: the place where it's like, okay, if you want to
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: tattoo something on my arm. Go ahead. TKO comes in
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: and says, hold my beer. You can tattoo me on
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: the arms. You could tattoo me on the legs. You
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: could tattoo my fucking forehead. You could put a tattoo
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: on the back of each of my shoulders. You could
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: put a tattoo on the back of each of my
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: ash cheeks. They don't care. As long as you cut
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: the check, that's all that matters. It's time to be
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: the booker.
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: Ladies or gentlemen.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: It is now time to be the booker. We get
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: two rounds tonight thanks to you guys. It's exciting. Love it,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: love it when we get to do double be the booker.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: They're going to start putting sponsor logos on all the merch. Oh,
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: that'll be coming. Absolutely, You'll see at least some of
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: the top names will be coming down to the ring. Cody,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: you'll have Wheatley American Vodka's logo on his fucking trunks
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: or his his tights. I mean, if Roman Rings doesn't
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: get like a Nike sponsorship out of this, I mean,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: what are we doing here, Jay Uso and wingstop.
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: Oh it's coming all right, Tag team be the booker.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: We have hmm, Mason Madden and well, I mean, if
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: you go by their names in wwe really like in
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: this image it's Mansor and Marseille, but it's a Mason
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Madden and Mansur in the Ring of Honor. The blue
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: chee ladder. Yes, they're branding the tables and the ladders.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: Now well, no, it was the fireball ladder, but in
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: due time we'll get the blue choe ladder. Actually, I
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: think the suggestion I made was the blue choe bell.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: The steel steps will be the Snickers steps. Put the
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: Snicker's logo on each step. Oh it's coming. Well, you
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: know how they remove the top part of the ring
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: steps and they have the flat bottom part. Once they
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: remove the top part, it reveals the sponsor logo for
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: that night, and their fucking logo is right there on
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: top of that flat part of the ring steps. All
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: this stuff will happen. All this stuff will happen. So
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be the Ussos against Mansor and masse kicking
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: us off. Here in be the I find Mason man
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: Soor entertaining. The question is do we give this match
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: a bell Mason Mansor against the USOS bucket. I'm giving
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: it the bell. I'm giving it the bell. Bred Hart
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: forty one months of channel membership. This month is my
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: tenth anniversary of being a sound off listener. Wow, how
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: about that a decade a decade. Thank you for sticking
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: with me, brother, I appreciate. Here's to the next ten
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: pre show for a backlash, We'll put the USOS against
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: the Mason Mansor on the pre show. Okay, they don't
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: do matches on pre shows anymore. In AW, they do
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: too many matches on the pre show. In WWE, they
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: don't do any matches. It's just one extreme.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: Or the other.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Willow Nightingale, one of my favorites from AW. Willow is great.
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: Willow Nightingale will be battling Mayu Ewatani. You don't know
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: who Mayu e Watani is. I suggest you look her up,
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: but if you're any kind of fan of Joshi Wrestling,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: you know exactly who Mayui Watani is. In fact, I
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: think she had a movie made about her life over
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: in Japan. And our first of two main events here,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: don't forget, we got one more yet to come. Here
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: we go. Oh boy, look who it is. It's Dax Harwood,
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: one half of FTR Dax Harwood and Be the Booker
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: has pulled himself away from the Twitter machine to actually
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: participate in this main event. I'm shocked.
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: And who will he be stepping into the ring with.
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: Let's find out he'll be stepping into the ring with
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: Bobby Lashley. Well not if MVP has his way, he won't.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: If MVP is going to exercise his creative freedom in aw,
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: that ain't going to be happening. We'll find out who
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: wins out on that end, if it's MVP or Tony Kahan.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Stay tuned. Oh, that's a sweep. I just realized. I
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: just realized that's as I almost completely forgot. That's a
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: clean sweep. There you go. Well, he knows who's losing
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: this man, Yeah, we know who's winning that match. Dak
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: Harwood's Michael says, Dax Harwood sounds like a porn name.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: You know it kind of does it? Does? Dax Harwood
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: sounds like a porn stars name. Well, anyway, let's move
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: on to the second round. That lovely visual. We go
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: to round number two. Be the Booker, we might have
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: MVP booking the matches here. In round two, I believe
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: he's exercising his desire to book round two. So let's
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: see what we end up with. And we're gonna have
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: a barbed wires steel cage match to kick us off here.
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: It's going to be a barbed wire steel cage tag
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: team match. That's gonna be crazy, barbed wires steel cage
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: tag team match with the Holly Cousin. Well, they're a hardcore,
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: so it's perfect. The Holly Cousins, hardcore and crash. That fits.
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: Pick the perfect teams for this, The Holly Cousins against
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Public Enemy in a tag team barbed wire steel cage match.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: It's perfect.
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: That worked out.
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: Well. Can we do a double sweep? That doesn't happen?
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: It's like a unicorn. It doesn't happen very often. You
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: don't see them very often. But I think we have
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: a chance. All Right, A good job, MVP. You did
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: well with that one.
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: MVP.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: You're gonna kill the town here with the stipulation. Another
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: barbed wire steel cage match has been booked. Oh man,
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: you're gonna kill the stipulation is what you're gonna do.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: And it's gonna be a women's match, No less a
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: women's steel cage barbed wire match with Live Morgan, Poor
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: Live Morgan, My god. Live Morgan is out injured. She
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: had surgery, she's hurt, and her first match back, we're
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: putting her in a barbed wire steel cage match. Respin,
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: it's not how it works. Live Morgan against Willow Nightingale. Boy.
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: We are certainly doing a lot of repeat choices tonight,
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: aren't we? But I dig the match though. Liv Morgan
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: is kind of crazy and she's not afraid to throw
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: her body around. We saw her in the elimination chamber
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: earlier this year. She's not afraid of taking a beating
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: in the ring and Willow and we saw Willow in
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: a fucking anarchy in the arena match and then that
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: match she had it all out last year with Chris Statlanders,
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: so she doesn't mind. We are on the verge of
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: a double. Sweet guys, this is amazing. I feel it.
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: I feel it. I have a good feeling about this.
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: We're gonna end with an Ultimate X match, Ultimate X
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: a TNA special. Now, there's a lot of climbing involved
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: in this match, the Dame match, so it really does
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: come down to who we land on. I don't want
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: to be picking a fucking great colleague of being an
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: Ultimate X match. So this is gonna be quite the
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: test here. It all hinges upon this. Oh boy, Oh
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: it's Vato Sting. Look, this will never this will never
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: not be funny to me.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: I have no.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: Memory of this being a thing. I have no memory
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: of this angle. I have no memory. I assume obviously
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: he's dressed up as a member of LAX, but I
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: don't remember the context. I don't remember anything about this.
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: I just look at the image and I fucking laugh
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: every single time. I think all the versions of Sting,
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: this might be my favorite. But now we have Vatos.
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: Sting has to climb like upside down basically for the
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: ultimate Cholo Sting. Yes, yes, it's Votos. Come on, man,
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: Vatos Sting against Roman Reigns the tribal chief, and it
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: will be an Ultimate X match, and.
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: That is indeed.
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: A double sweep. Just trying to visualize this match, Roman
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: reigns and Sting first of all, as a match, that
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: would be awesome. But Roman reigns and Sting in an
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: Ultimate X match, it'd be a miracle of nobody falls
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: to their death. There you go. Two clean sweeps. You
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: got it, Enjoy it. It doesn't happen very often. It's
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: very rare. He could knock the X down with his bat,
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: that's true, could hold on with one arm and then
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: have the bat in the other arm and just yeah,
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: but don't you have to have possession of the X dee.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: Like if he hits the EX and it falls to
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: the floor, then it's whoever catches it, right, He could
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: hit it with the X or he could hit it
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: with the bat. It falls and Roman is just standing
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: underneath it and catches it wins, So then that doesn't
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: do him any good. We have got Brian Finelli's going on. Brian,
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: that side Russian leg sweep was brought to you by Snickers,
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: says Michael Cole. Well, how about this deal with ESPN
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: where they're potentially going to simulcast major plees on the
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: ESPN linear networks, which could include ESPN Proper and potentially
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: even ABC. Imagine WrestleMania the main event being aired on ABC.
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: In the middle of the match, like someone is thrown
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: outside the ring and put a little box in the
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: corner of the screen that says WrestleMania continues, they go
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: to break in the middle of the WrestleMania main event.
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: It's possible.
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: It's possible. The yatagaratsu favorite female psycho gimmick was two
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: thousand and two Victoria. She had the music, the facial expressions,
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: and the aura and moveset of an axe murderer. Maybe
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: she was an axe murderer. I liked it.
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: Why she used to come out with the.
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: Uh tattoo music, all the things she said, that's that's
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: still my favorite theme of hers.
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: What was the other one that started like uh with.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: That woman's voice, like whoa? What was that song? I
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: ain't the lady to mess with? Right, it's like whoo,
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: I ain't the lady to mess with? That one was okay,
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: but all the things she said is still her best theme.
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: Duffs VID's Blue Choo Chairs Hit Hard, Stay Hard. I
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: like it.
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: Actually, no, I hate it.
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: I don't want to. I don't want to see any
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: of this. I don't want to will this into existence.
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: Terrible dried Chicken home depot or Low's will be a
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: sponsor for a ladder match? I two of them, Uh
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: not far from from where I am, and I have
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: to I have to say I've become a Low's guy,
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: I find generally fine more of what I'm looking for
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: in Low's than I do Home Depot. Larry Jester Slim
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: Jim Kendo sticks would be better than tables. Well, I
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: mean that would make more sense, wouldn't it, Because the
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: kendo sticks kind of look like giant slim Jims. You
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: could paint them. You could paint them brown or red.
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: Thunder Force. Remember when Vince wouldn't allow Cmpunk to have
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: sponsors on his ring gear. Yeah, that was many years ago.
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: Brock came back though, and he had Jimmy Johns on
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: his shorts because he had a pre existing agreement with them.
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: He was the only one who was allowed that. No
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: one else was allowed to have any sponsors of their own.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: Dry Chickens says Dax Harwood against Bobby Lashley. MVP is
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: the referee, Stokely is the ring enforcer. Cash Wheeler and
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: Shelton on commentary with X Caliber and Matt Fisher says,
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: have a good night, guys, stay good, enjoy the nine
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: hundred and thirty four hours to go of wrestling this week,
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: well after tonight it's nine hundred and thirty two. There
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: is a lot of wrestling, but that's why we're here,
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: all right. We're here to talk about all of it.
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: In fact, that's what I'll be doing on Wednesday next
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: time I'm live with you here on this channel, we'll
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: be for the aw Dynamite post show, and then Friday
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: night after SmackDown as well. Tomorrow night I'll be with
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: JD on his channel for Tuesday Night Titans. So there's
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: a lot of wrestling discussion yet to come this week.
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: If you missed it, episode nineh God, what am I
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: up to? Nine twenty four getting close to one thousand?
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: Episode nine twenty four of the sound Off one up Yesterday.
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: Great episode, great feedback, and we hit number two for
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: all wrestling podcasts on all of Apple podcasts. We hit
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: number two, which is very cool.
- 1:48:59Speaker 2: So I thank you for that. If you missed it,
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: go back and check that out.
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: Sean de celebrating twenty eight months of membership, says the
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: wwees going through like ad withdrawal from all the decades
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: that Vince didn't want ads all over the Squared Circle
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: now that he's gone, feels like it and shout out
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: to Paul twenty eight months of membership as well. Just
- 1:49:28Speaker 1: like Sean, you're like twins. It's like you joined at
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: the same time. I've been watching a lot of old
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: school wrestling NWA, very good stuff back in the day
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: for being a lifelong WWF fan. Any favorite matches from
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: that NWA days. Yeah, I mean one of my favorites
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: is the cage match I quit. It was Tully Blanchard
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: and magnum Ta for the US title. I don't remember
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: what event it was. If it was Stark Star Kate,
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: it was five, I forgot the event. That's a classic match.
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: If you've never seen that one, definitely go check that out.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: I would also recommend to you because it's it's I mean,
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: some of my favorite matches was just after they went
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: from they pulled out of the NWA and so it
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: was already WCW at that point, so it might not
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: be exactly what you're looking for. Although, just to go
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: back to the NWA for a second look, Sting and
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: Flair had their classic match at the first Clash of
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: the Champions in eighty eight, right that forty five minute draw.
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: Lex Luger during that period when he was the United
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: States Champion, Lex Luger had some really good matches. I
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: want to say with Ricky Steamboat, but also he had
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: a match with Flair. I think it was after Sting
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: hurt his knee. That would have been nineteen ninety. But
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: if you want to see some cool shit that you
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: probably never saw if you were a WWF fan, only
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Wrestle War ninety two. There's a War Games match best Wargames,
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: my favorite War Games match of all time, Sting Squadron
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: against the Dangerous Alliance led by Paul Hayman Paulie Dangerously.
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: The Wargames matches.
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: They did in ninety one at Wrestle War and ninety two,
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: both of them, but ninety two to me is better
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: than ninety one. And then in ninety two there was
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: a series of matches between Sting and Big Van Vader.
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: Fucking awesome. One of my favorite series of matches. If
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: you want the ultimate classic trilogy, though, you got to
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: go back to eighty nine in the NWA. Those were
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: the Rick Flair Ricky Steamboat matches, Shytown Rumble, wrestll War
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: eighty nine. Oh god, what was the other one? Shit?
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: I forgot, but the three matches that they are most
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: well known for in eighty nine. If you've never seen those,
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: then you need to stop what you're doing and go
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: watch those. So definitely make sure that's on your list. Ah. Yes, Roderick,
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: thank you, says Luger. Steamboat was on Bad eighty nine two. Yeah,
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: you know again. People will give Luger shit. He was
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: not the best n ring worker, but you go back
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: and watch his work from the late eighties, like especially
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: eighty nine, maybe eighty eight, eighty nine, he was really
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: good and he has some really good matches, And I
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: feel like there were people who say shit that never
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: actually saw him work during those years. So if you've
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: never seen it, it's worth going out of your way
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: to go check it out for the first time. Ah. Yes,
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: Flare and Steamboa, that's right. Clash of the Champions in
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: New Orleans, thank you. Yep. Rick Flair and Terry Funk
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: had a great eye quit match. Clash of the Champions
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: that was New York Knockout I think was the subtitle
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: right of that show that was in eighty nine. Yep, absolutely,
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: Vader two. I got to give Vader as flowers Man.
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: Vader's matches during that period, Vaders matches with Sting, Vaders
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: match with Rick Flair at starkd in ninety three, Vaders
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: matches with Cactus Jack, especially their Halloween Havoc match. Sting's
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: match with Cactus Jack at Beach Blast in ninety two,
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: that's another one. Rick Rude during that period had a
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: great run of matches in WCW, you know, against Sting
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: and against Flair, and Yeah, it was a lot of
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: good stuff back then, and I didn't appreciate it myself
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: until years later, because, like you, I was younger and
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: I was watching WWF. I just wasn't. I was paying
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: attention to the kind of what was going on in WCW,
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: but I wasn't really a WCW fan. But there was
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: a lot of good stuff that I only got to
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: really experience many years later. Yeah, Rude and Steamboat Ruden.
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: Steamboat had an iron Man match, didn't they. I think
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: it was a thirty minute ironmn match. Barry Wyndham, sure, yeah,
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: Barry Wyndham and Flair. God when Flair's DVD set, that
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: Triple dis DVD set came out many many years ago,
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: I think the match that I'm thinking of with Flair
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: and Wyndham is on there. Whatever event that was, that
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: was a great one too. Stinging Luger against the Steiners. Yep,
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: that was Super Bowl. I think that was the first
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: Super Bowl. I think that was the very first one.
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: I've always said, you know, I got a question before
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: asking me. Might have been from God who sent the
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: question in I already forgot. Oh God, it was uh
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: is a cameo cameo John and sent that question before
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: I think about my top fantasy matches. You've heard me
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: in the past say this before. I've I know I've
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: said it multiple times because I've been asked about it
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: in the mail bag. Like the ultimate fantasy warfare match,
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: like both guys in their prime, Big Van Vader early
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: nineties against Brock Lesner, and it honestly, it could be
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: Brock from the first run, or it could be Brock
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: when he first came back in twenty twelve. I would
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: prefer the Brock where he did more than just supplexes.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: But even if you took that version of Brock, the
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: supplex city Brock from the mid twenty tens, Brock Lesner
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: and Vader, put those two fucking guys in the ring.
- 1:55:43Speaker 1: Holy shit match that would have been. That would have
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: been fantastic. That to be the Booker match right there
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: that we've never landed on. But one day, one day
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: we have to Cecil Robinson. You should have a sound
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: effect for two clean sweeps. I should, you know what
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: I always envision maybe the Mario sound effect when you
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: when you get the mushroom or a flower like that
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: power up noise. That might be a good one. Yeah,
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: I should.
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: Vader would eat him alive.
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I know about eat him alive.
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: I'm not so sure about that.
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: Do brawl for all? Prime Brock against Prime Vader.
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: Brawl for all.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: Brock's got the UFC, He's got the fight experience. Vader
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: didn't have that. Vader was just a big dude who
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: hit hard, but that's about it. But he was a
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: lot bigger though, I mean he weighed more. I guess
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: if he wanted a smother and just kind of put
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: all of his weight on him and kind of wear
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: him down that way.
- 1:57:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: I don't know how like a fight would have looked
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: between those two. Yeah, those are, but you know what,
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: those would be my two. I think those would be
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: my top two right there. Brett Hardtigainst Kurt Angle and
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: Prime Brock against Prime Vader. Sign me up for those? Uh,
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: Navy forty one eighty one on the Sound of You
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: mentioned Super WrestleMania. Did you have it on Genesis? The
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: SNS had no finishers or champions Mode until later with Royal.
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I had it on I think I
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: had it on I'm pretty sure I had it on
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: Super Nes. I know I had Raw on Genesis when
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: that Raw game came out in ninety four that had
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: Diesel and I think Bambaan was in there.
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: But I'm pretty sure.
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: WrestleMania, the RC game, Super WrestleMania, I think that stuff
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: was on the Super Nes For me, all all fuck up?
- 1:58:16Speaker 1: Fuck that tree? Hey, luis planting a tree? Wwe really
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: dropped the ball with carrying Cross. Should he and Scarlet
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: go to TNA or ae W or Scarlet should join
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: Wow Women of Wrestling. Well, I mean, if they can
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: get a you know, financially an offer that they are
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: are happy with. I do feel like TNA would probably
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: be a good landing spot for them. For Cross, I think,
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: you know, there's there's multiple options for him. I think
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: he'll kill it doing indies for a while, so I
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: I don't even think he needs to necessarily be in
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: any kind of a rush to sign a contract anywhere.
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: I think he's got a very lucrative, very successful indie
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: run for him. But ultimately, if he doesn't end up
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: just going back to WWE, I think TNA would probably
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: be the prime landing spot for him. And again it
- 1:59:21Speaker 1: would give him a gateway back into WWE if that's
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: his ultimate goal. And keep in mind, now, this is
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: the second time that he has been effectively let go.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: I mean, his contract expired in this case, so it's
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: you know, it's not like they released him, but they
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: basically said, hey, we don't want to resign to you.
- 1:59:39Speaker 1: That's what happens when they let your contract expire. Previously
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: he had been released, And I've said this about other
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: people like braun Stroman, people who have been released multiple times.
- 1:59:48Speaker 1: Like you also kind of asked the question like do
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: you want to go back? You know, it's one thing
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: when it happens to you once, when it happens to
- 1:59:57Speaker 1: you twice, you know, when it happens to you multiple times,
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: do you even want to go back and work for
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: those people again? You know? But WWE is still the
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: biggest game in town, and the ones that will probably
- 2:00:10Speaker 1: be able to pay the most money. I mean not
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: that Tony Kahm pays peanuts to his talent. But they're
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: the biggest game in town. That's why everybody desires to
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: go there. But it's got a sting, you know, when
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: you end up going back and then you end up
- 2:00:26Speaker 1: on the outside again, and it's like, do I go
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: back again? Or you know, clearly these people don't really
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: appreciate me for what I bring to the tables, so
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: I'd rather be somewhere else.
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: Again.
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: I don't know what's going through his head on that front,
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: but I feel like that's what would be going through
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: my head, you know, and I would be upset about that.
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't necessarily want to work for these people anymore.
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: They don't appreciate what I bring to the table. I'll
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: take my services somewhere else, you know. That would be
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: my attitude. Power spying games Roaman against reed sneakers on
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: a pole bro no poles, no poles. Maybe we do
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: it the way they do it here in New York,
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: where you can actually set two poles up, but you
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: don't have to climb the poles, but you set two
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: poles up like here with the power lines you always see.
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: I don't know if this is how it is where
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: you are. But you'll be driving down the street and
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: it's not like this on every street, but you will
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: find streets where there is a pair of sneakers tied
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: together right in the middle of a power line above
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: the street. And so maybe they could set two poles
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: up in the ring and then just have well, I
- 2:01:42Speaker 1: guess there's two pairs, but you can just tie them
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: and they're just hanging from the middle. I feel right
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: at home, super Pony. Is there any chance this cross
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: thing is a work?
- 2:01:57Speaker 2: Brother?
- 2:01:57Speaker 1: It's pro wrestling. I wouldn't bet my life on it,
- 2:02:02Speaker 1: but I am telling you it is not a work,
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: you know, just one last thing on the cross stuff.
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: Like I even talked about it on the sound off.
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: I thought that in the end there was either an
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: offer made or there would be an offer made and
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: he would stay. And I figured that's ultimately how it
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: would resolve. You know, they would see that there's this
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: ground swell of support and they could certainly find a
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: spot for him on the roster. And it appears that
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: is not the case. And so.
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: I hope for his sake.
- 2:02:39Speaker 1: And I saw the video he put out yesterday, which
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: was very well done, and he has a special connection
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: with his fans. He has a lot of fans out there,
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: and he has a special connection with them. And I
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: hope that he is able to grow that. I hope
- 2:02:55Speaker 1: that the buzz around him in the momentum that he
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: has right now can continue wherever he goes, wherever he lands,
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: and that he could parlay that into something because honestly,
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: even if he would have ended up back in WWE,
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: it's very apparent to me, even though Triple H is
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: the one who brought him in scarlet back, it's very
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: apparent to me that they do not want to push
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: him in any serious way. I mean that that's again,
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: if Triple H really wanted to do something major with him,
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: he had the chance to do so, he opted not to,
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: you know, whatever his rationale.
- 2:03:30Speaker 2: Whatever his reasoning was for doing so or not doing so.
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: But I hope it all works out for him because
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: his other places to work and WWE is not the
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: only game in town. Life does not end just because
- 2:03:43Speaker 1: WWE is not interested in you. And I think he's
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: smart enough to understand that, and I think he's going
- 2:03:50Speaker 1: to do very well for himself. Like I said, you know,
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: kind of booking his own events in the meantime, and
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: then ultimately wherever he wants to end up, hopefully he'll
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: be able to take this and it'll carry over there
- 2:04:03Speaker 1: and he'll have a little more freedom maybe to do
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: the kind of things that he wants to do that
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: maybe he wouldn't have had in WWE. So I wish
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: him well. I hope it all works out. Do I again,
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: do I think it's a work. I don't see what's
- 2:04:17Speaker 1: accomplished at this point. If it is, like there's so
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: many reports out there now about people in corporate positions
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: in WWE. Wrestle Votes had something saying that even the
- 2:04:26Speaker 1: corporate side is of the impression he and Scarlet are gone, So.
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: What are they are they working the corporate side, They're
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: working the.
- 2:04:33Speaker 1: Roster, Like you get to a point, we just went
- 2:04:36Speaker 1: through this with the seth Rollins stuff, like at some
- 2:04:39Speaker 1: point it's just stupid. It doesn't serve any real purpose.
- 2:04:44Speaker 1: You know, you're just sowing the seeds of disrespect or
- 2:04:47Speaker 1: not disrespect, but distrust with people within the organization. And
- 2:04:53Speaker 1: I don't see, frankly, if it was to be a work,
- 2:04:56Speaker 1: which again I don't believe it is, and then he
- 2:04:59Speaker 1: should up one day like okay, like what is even
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: accomplished by it? It's just if it's a work, it's
- 2:05:07Speaker 1: a very stupid work. So no, it is not a work.
- 2:05:14Speaker 1: In WWE wrestling and gaming, how would you book a
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: Vader title reign very similar to the one he had
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: in WCW, where you know, you feed him opponents that
- 2:05:28Speaker 1: he can go in there and have great matches with.
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: And I don't think that's people who are necessarily bigger
- 2:05:34Speaker 1: than him. There aren't too many people on the roster
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: today that would be bigger than Vader. You feed him
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: the right opponents, and I think he can go in
- 2:05:43Speaker 1: there and have some great matches, some classic matches, David
- 2:05:46Speaker 1: and Goliath type matches, But he goes on a dominant
- 2:05:49Speaker 1: run and you book him as champion for a solid
- 2:05:51Speaker 1: year with him as the monster on top until you
- 2:05:55Speaker 1: settle on that baby face that you want to be
- 2:05:57Speaker 1: the guy right like Sting was back in the day.
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: Who's gonna slay the beast, slay the dragon and be
- 2:06:05Speaker 1: able to topple this guy and you just carefully build
- 2:06:08Speaker 1: to that moment. You know, Vader is that final boss
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: kind of guy. So I put that championship on him
- 2:06:17Speaker 1: for at least a year and let him just fucking
- 2:06:19Speaker 1: rip through the roster, not squash everybody again. You want
- 2:06:22Speaker 1: him to go in there and have good competitive matches,
- 2:06:25Speaker 1: but you know he has to be dominant. He could
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: be that dominant Monster champion for a while, and then
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: you build to your hero, the guy that you want
- 2:06:35Speaker 1: to build the company around, being the one to beat him.
- 2:06:37Speaker 1: It's simple as that. It's not rocket science. Just finding
- 2:06:40Speaker 1: the right people that could be the hard part. Sometimes
- 2:06:44Speaker 1: the rest of it should be easy. Once you have
- 2:06:46Speaker 1: the people, you have the pieces. You just got to
- 2:06:48Speaker 1: put him in place. But thank you brother anyway, Be well,
- 2:06:54Speaker 1: stay safe. Every sells a great night. Go check out
- 2:06:57Speaker 1: episode nine twenty four if you have not already done so.
- 2:07:00Speaker 1: If you have, go listen to it again and I
- 2:07:03Speaker 1: will see you back here on this channel on Wednesday
- 2:07:05Speaker 1: night for the Dynamite Post Show and on Tuesday Night
- 2:07:09Speaker 1: Titans tomorrow night. Until then, take care, guys,
