- 2:15Speaker 2: Charlotte has some fu turn up moments in January, I won.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Matter of fact, it wasn't January, ex fact where I
- 2:26Speaker 2: won Prince of the Right Pride. I had been you know,
- 2:30Speaker 2: been booking, busy, you know with you know, with poetry,
- 2:34Speaker 2: you know, having you know, working on a different network,

- 2:43Speaker 2: and be back with Roy Mike.
- 2:46Speaker 3: It has been.

- 3:02Speaker 2: like they said, the chance of my dreams you want
- 3:05Speaker 2: to do that, But nevertheless, we are going to get
- 3:09Speaker 2: into the topic. Oh, let me introduce you my bad
- 3:13Speaker 2: see see my bad see I got kind of My
- 3:15Speaker 2: name is mister Zacher Williams stage stand as Zach Attack
- 3:19Speaker 2: and this is the Royal Mic. So basically, let me
- 3:22Speaker 2: give you a little background about boy. You're right, So
- 3:25Speaker 2: royal Mic is all about you know, especially your feelings.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You know, come on and say what you want to say.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You know, ain't no hard feelings. It is no hard feelings.
- 3:33Speaker 2: At the end of the day, we are here to
- 3:35Speaker 2: have a conversation in an honest conversation. This is why
- 3:38Speaker 2: I created the Royal Mic. It's like you got the mic,
- 3:41Speaker 2: say what you wanted to say. So tonight conversation, it's
- 3:44Speaker 2: going to be really good. The compass conversation is today,
- 3:50Speaker 2: are men too sensitive? Then men just stop lying? Lem
- 3:56Speaker 2: see it again? Are men are too sensitive? Or that
- 4:00Speaker 2: men are just lying top lying? So this afternoon, I
- 4:06Speaker 2: do not want to rush this conversation. I don't want
- 4:09Speaker 2: to sound too perfect. I don't want to sound like.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I figure everything out.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I just want to be honest because this is one
- 4:16Speaker 2: of those topics that everybody has opinion, but not everybody
- 4:20Speaker 2: really sits.
- 4:21Speaker 3: With it the truth.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Everywhere I go, social media, real life conversations, going to
- 4:30Speaker 2: the barber shop, we talk about relationship, we talk about
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know, men, we talk about females, we talk about
- 4:37Speaker 2: a whole lot of things. But I keep hating the
- 4:42Speaker 2: same thing over and over and over again. Men are
- 4:47Speaker 2: too soft now, Men are too emotional now. Men are
- 4:51Speaker 2: not where it used to be. And I have to
- 4:54Speaker 2: sit with that, not just stay here, but really ask myself,
- 5:00Speaker 2: why do actually people say that down these days?
- 5:03Speaker 3: What do they mean?
- 5:05Speaker 2: The men are too emotional, too sensitive? Are we finally
- 5:10Speaker 2: telling the truth? Are we just stepping into a new era,
- 5:14Speaker 2: Like men's are really feeling their stuff? Because when people
- 5:19Speaker 2: said men it is different back then than now, what
- 5:24Speaker 2: doesn't really mean? When men were quiet? The men didn't
- 5:29Speaker 2: have a sample out this them, The men didn't open up,
- 5:33Speaker 2: the men didn't sit down and said I'm hurt, I
- 5:35Speaker 2: feel okay, I need help because something quite didn't mean
- 5:40Speaker 2: it all there. And a part I feel like people
- 5:44Speaker 2: skipping over is you have to ask the real questions.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Are men actually being too sensitive? Or men's are finally
- 5:56Speaker 2: telling the truth? How they been feeling the whole all right.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And I'm not talking about just the one typical man.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I'm talking about all mens. That means the straight mens,
- 6:09Speaker 2: the gay mens, the bisexual men's, the massacre men's, the
- 6:13Speaker 2: soft spoken men's, the men's who fit the image that
- 6:17Speaker 2: expect to me men's, and men's who don't know how
- 6:21Speaker 2: to sess the feelings no matter what as the category
- 6:25Speaker 2: you fall into, lad to day, you are stole human
- 6:28Speaker 2: and you are still with hurt, and you are always
- 6:30Speaker 2: saying to express your feelings. So I want you to
- 6:35Speaker 2: just sit with me, right, I just I just want
- 6:37Speaker 2: you to sit with me. I want to take it back.
- 6:39Speaker 2: You know, the men's from the seventies and nineties, and
- 6:44Speaker 2: now I want us to go back in not time frame.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yes I was not in the time frame, but I
- 6:49Speaker 2: feel like I have a lot of experience, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 2: having different men's.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Come out my life. And you know, I have a dad,
- 6:57Speaker 3: I have an uncle, have a grandfather. You know I have.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Who was in those errors, you know, So let's picture it.
- 7:05Speaker 2: You know, the seventies and eighties a time where men
- 7:09Speaker 2: who raise environment didn't know to leave a lot of
- 7:14Speaker 2: room of emotional expression. Emotional expressiments. Expressions are bad. You
- 7:21Speaker 2: don't be asked how you feel. No man asked you
- 7:24Speaker 2: to sit down and talk to me. Instead, you was
- 7:28Speaker 2: giving responsibilities early, pressure early, and exposed to things that
- 7:36Speaker 2: they don't talk about. Early you were taught that being
- 7:44Speaker 2: a man means to carry everything in and holding everything together.
- 7:51Speaker 3: You don't want to fall apart or you don't want.
- 7:54Speaker 2: To be open how you really feel. They told you
- 8:01Speaker 2: to keep everything in private. You know, back then my
- 8:07Speaker 2: understanding was, you know, what stands in the dark, stays
- 8:11Speaker 2: in narc You know what happened into the household, streeper
- 8:15Speaker 2: on the rug. You do not need to carry it
- 8:18Speaker 2: as men's you know.
- 8:21Speaker 3: And that in that back dade, you know that mindset did.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It was pressing down Like what I mean by like
- 8:29Speaker 2: men's was definitely you know, I feel like it was
- 8:34Speaker 2: like I would have said miserable. I wouldn't say miserable,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I would depressed, angry, suicide, like those thoughts. When you
- 8:47Speaker 2: get into the seventy eighties and nineties, nobody didn't believe
- 8:51Speaker 2: in therapy, nobody believe in getting help from what my
- 8:56Speaker 2: belief is this, This is just my belief in my opinion,
- 8:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna say that it's my opinion. You know, you
- 9:01Speaker 2: have to keep everything in private way nobody can't see.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And the mindset didn't just come from anywhere. It was
- 9:08Speaker 2: passed down, you know, father passing down to son. Communication
- 9:13Speaker 2: was reforced, and culture was protected. Especially in the black community.
- 9:19Speaker 2: The mindset was tied to survival and a lot of
- 9:23Speaker 2: men didn't have a space to be soft, open express
- 9:31Speaker 2: because life was already heavy back then, and some emotional
- 9:36Speaker 2: becomes something that you push aside throughout the day. But
- 9:41Speaker 2: I want to slow this down right now because it's
- 9:44Speaker 2: very important. Just because a man doesn't speak about the
- 9:48Speaker 2: emotion doesn't mean.
- 9:51Speaker 3: He don't have them. They l everybody feels the same way.
- 9:57Speaker 3: What come? Do men care?
- 10:00Speaker 2: How you say? Everybody feels the same way, you know,
- 10:05Speaker 2: especially now in these days, men's are being very spoken,
- 10:12Speaker 2: men are being going to therapy, men are sitting down
- 10:16Speaker 2: with other men's and talk about, Hey, it's okay to cry,
- 10:20Speaker 2: you know, it's okay to show emotions. It's okay to
- 10:24Speaker 2: ask for help, it's okay to be frustrated, it's okay
- 10:30Speaker 2: not to holy in, you know, because back then they had.
- 10:37Speaker 3: A lot to carry.
- 10:39Speaker 2: You know, being a man of the house, you know,
- 10:42Speaker 2: providing for their family. You know, they can't be like
- 10:47Speaker 2: females back in the day, you know, you know, staying
- 10:50Speaker 2: at home, cooking and cleaning, or you know, taking care
- 10:54Speaker 2: of the kids, making sure that if the food is cooked,
- 10:57Speaker 2: making sure that you know, the households take care of us.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Ninety days, it's first, it's all over.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Everybody is feeling a title.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Everybody is a title to their emotions. Everybody is entitled
- 11:16Speaker 2: to their emotions. They feel like they're falling apove without support,
- 11:22Speaker 2: they feel like they don't have a love to express
- 11:26Speaker 2: their feelings. You know, you know, even when you know
- 11:31Speaker 2: what comes down to, like with me growing up, because
- 11:35Speaker 2: I feel like I was a hard I had a hard.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Time, you know, espress my feelings growing up.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Especially when I was born, you know, in the late late nineties,
- 11:45Speaker 2: I would say, in the late nineties, having moments in
- 11:53Speaker 2: my life and see that they struggle to talk about
- 11:58Speaker 2: their feelings, you know, to oh, they feeling that that
- 12:03Speaker 2: was a hard thing to do, and then it got
- 12:05Speaker 2: passed down to me, like I didn't know how to
- 12:09Speaker 2: express my feelings. I was like frustrated, I was angry,
- 12:13Speaker 2: I was doing things that I'm supposed to be doing.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I was acting out.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And and that doesn't disconnect. We have not Naama. Back then,
- 12:24Speaker 2: you know, back then was kind of a little hard
- 12:28Speaker 2: for them. They didn't have to outflit. They didn't have
- 12:33Speaker 2: you know, therapy, they didn't have let's go to the
- 12:36Speaker 2: Bible shop, let's talk about feelings. They didn't have like
- 12:39Speaker 2: group through conversation like we got now.
- 12:42Speaker 3: They didn't have that back then.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I know my grandfather, you know, he had to wake up,
- 12:48Speaker 2: you know, two o'clock in the morning, you know, walk
- 12:52Speaker 2: down this long road and to make sure he.
- 12:59Speaker 3: He catched up by us.
- 13:00Speaker 2: You know, back then a lot of like a lot
- 13:02Speaker 2: of money then' you knows it was a lot back
- 13:06Speaker 2: then then now you know, dollars was a lot back then.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You know, I could say that my grandfather said, like
- 13:14Speaker 2: ray was a lot cheaper, like it was like fifty
- 13:16Speaker 2: cent not in any days. But that's that's over here there.
- 13:22Speaker 2: But I know that he'd been frustrated. I know that,
- 13:26Speaker 2: you know, sometimes he don't bring enough home, like enough
- 13:30Speaker 2: money to bring home. Now. Mind you, my my grandparents
- 13:34Speaker 2: they had about nine kids, and in that nine kids,
- 13:38Speaker 2: you know, you have to feed each one of them,
- 13:43Speaker 2: want of no kids go hungry and having that frustration.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You know, you you got to provide for your family.
- 13:52Speaker 2: You just can't bring nothing home, especially when you have
- 13:59Speaker 2: one person working, want taking care of the houstle. It's
- 14:01Speaker 2: not too taking care of it and it still dark,
- 14:08Speaker 2: but it was hard. I can't imagine being back there.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Imagine being back there and to see a lot of
- 14:21Speaker 2: people struggle, you know, back then. I can't see that.
- 14:25Speaker 2: How did they handle their emotions? You know, like how
- 14:31Speaker 2: did you know they deal with depression? You know, how
- 14:36Speaker 2: did they do with suicide?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Thought?
- 14:38Speaker 3: Like, how did they do with you know, have an addiction?
- 14:43Speaker 2: You know a lot of people like how did they
- 14:48Speaker 2: felt back then? And even when it happened having a wife,
- 14:55Speaker 2: Like how did the conversation goes between you know, man
- 15:00Speaker 2: and wife back then. I can't imagine a man coming
- 15:05Speaker 2: home and be like, I'm tired, I don't feel like
- 15:07Speaker 2: doing this, I didn't feel like going to work. I
- 15:10Speaker 2: don't feel like I'm good enough for you. You know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: I can't imagine how like couples back then really had
- 15:22Speaker 2: a conversation. You know, from my point of view, it
- 15:25Speaker 2: was like you gotta suck it up. You gotta go
- 15:28Speaker 2: out there. You got a family, family, family, and I
- 15:32Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, They're fine. You know, back
- 15:34Speaker 2: then they had a really big families. And and just
- 15:40Speaker 2: to have that or a man's back, that is a
- 15:47Speaker 2: lot I'm talking of. You know, if your kid's acting out,
- 15:52Speaker 2: you know, if your kids have a disability like my
- 15:56Speaker 2: financial struggles, you know, death doing like I can't imagine it.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And I feel like when men back then, I feel
- 16:08Speaker 2: like they were sitting in the room by their stuff.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Sometimes men even drink to depress their feelings, oppressed their
- 16:15Speaker 2: feelings to me, and and and they had an outlet.
- 16:21Speaker 2: And I'm telling you I have seen it. I know.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I know y'all know somebody who was born in the seventies,
- 16:28Speaker 2: the eighties and.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Nineties, who who.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Felt like that. And you know, I sit here, you.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Know, I think about my family.
- 16:36Speaker 2: You know, I think a lot of men, you know,
- 16:39Speaker 2: they went into you know, drinking, you know, smoking weed,
- 16:43Speaker 2: doing cocaine, doing hair like to to press their feeling
- 16:46Speaker 2: because they didn't know how to talk about it, you know.
- 16:51Speaker 2: And and that's and that's a problem. And we're gonna
- 16:56Speaker 2: and we were gonna talk about how it is a
- 16:59Speaker 2: problem as today it is. It's not a problem today,
- 17:04Speaker 2: it's just I feel like men are very too since
- 17:06Speaker 2: five today. But again that's just my opinion. But a
- 17:13Speaker 2: lot of men loved deeply because they didn't know how
- 17:16Speaker 2: to show it in any way, how to feel like
- 17:19Speaker 2: created a disconnect. Because you can provide, you can be present,
- 17:24Speaker 2: you can even try, but if your emotional is not
- 17:27Speaker 2: connected there, you feel something.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Is missing, like sit for a second, like I want
- 17:33Speaker 3: you to sick for a second.
- 17:35Speaker 2: A lot of people have listened, A lot of people
- 17:38Speaker 2: listen how to expressed us. You've been around someone you
- 17:43Speaker 2: love and you got the feeling you've been around somebody
- 17:48Speaker 2: who show up by stuff feel alone, like not everybody's
- 17:55Speaker 2: gonna care. Back then, sometime they didn't know how to
- 17:59Speaker 2: They didn't know how to you know, tell you it's
- 18:03Speaker 2: gonna be okay. They don't know how to be like,
- 18:09Speaker 2: they didn't know how to help with us to react
- 18:13Speaker 2: to that. Like I said, acting passed down to generation,
- 18:18Speaker 2: you know, and and when you grow up around there
- 18:21Speaker 2: and when you started to normalize it. This how men are.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Men don't talk, Men don't express their feeling. Men don't explain. So,
- 18:36Speaker 2: so what happened now? Will you repeat the same thing.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I'll go against it because some men grew up and
- 18:43Speaker 2: be the same thing. Quiet clothes, hard to react because
- 18:47Speaker 2: that's all they know how to show. Back then, it's
- 18:52Speaker 2: hard to tell somebody back then, I love you, especially when.
- 18:56Speaker 3: You are talking to your sons. You know, so our.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Father in sign of relationship's very important because you know
- 19:04Speaker 2: your father is teaching you how to be a man.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You know, it taught you, you know how to.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Go about from how to treat females, you know how
- 19:14Speaker 2: to you know, make money, how to provide. You know.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Back then, that was it. It wasn't I love you.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It wasn't like having needs emotional conversation. It's about I
- 19:27Speaker 2: think and getting it with the promo is normalized. But
- 19:34Speaker 2: other men is going through the opposite direction. Now these days,
- 19:37Speaker 2: he said, I'm not going to do that. I'm trying
- 19:40Speaker 2: to open up more. I want to express myself. I'm
- 19:42Speaker 2: gonna be more emotional. And we sit here complain that
- 19:48Speaker 2: men are to saws, and you sit here and men
- 19:51Speaker 2: are too sensitive, men sore, too emotional. You know, I
- 19:58Speaker 2: was told, you know the anybody knows me, I'm getting
- 20:01Speaker 2: I'm very I spell, I'm very specially feels a lot.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I say, what's on my mind.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I come off trying to I would say that I
- 20:12Speaker 2: come off trying to make sure I'm seeing in the
- 20:16Speaker 2: right words, that having the right attention. Sometimes I don't care,
- 20:20Speaker 2: I would say, sometimes I don't care, but I wanted
- 20:24Speaker 2: to go against the odds now like I said earlier.
- 20:28Speaker 2: And if you have been rocking with me, oh you
- 20:31Speaker 2: know justice watch broadcast. If you have been rocking me
- 20:34Speaker 2: with black canvas, and you have been walking me while
- 20:36Speaker 2: I'm hitting on the stage while I'm doing poetry, and
- 20:41Speaker 2: if you have been walking me last year on all
- 20:43Speaker 2: your might, I'm really specially by feelings. I were really
- 20:47Speaker 2: beginning towards odds because why not, why not sit here?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Why not have these conversations? Some men need to know
- 21:00Speaker 2: about it. Do I have all the experience to talk
- 21:03Speaker 2: about it?
- 21:04Speaker 3: No?
- 21:05Speaker 2: But I can talk about minds. I can talk about
- 21:08Speaker 2: how I was. I could talk about.
- 21:10Speaker 3: You know, I broke the cycle, you know, And I
- 21:17Speaker 3: thank God for making me who I am as a person,
- 21:20Speaker 3: you know, in evolving me into a man.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Eyes I am today. I just had a I just
- 21:32Speaker 2: had a funny moment just staying.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Like I didn't know why.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I kind of know my dad's dad, and I see
- 21:41Speaker 2: why my dad has built back then and now he's
- 21:44Speaker 2: more softer now.
- 21:45Speaker 3: In these days.
- 21:48Speaker 2: But having a father, like I said, having a father
- 21:51Speaker 2: in some relationship is very important. You know, we always
- 21:56Speaker 2: want to you know, express are you know our our goals,
- 22:02Speaker 2: you know our accomplishment to our fathers.
- 22:05Speaker 3: You know you want us to to show.
- 22:11Speaker 2: That we are doing you know, we are not following
- 22:13Speaker 2: your stuff step, but we are being better than you.
- 22:19Speaker 2: And my dad always tell me, you know, I want
- 22:22Speaker 2: you always do better than me. And I always tell
- 22:25Speaker 2: people who always come under me, especially generation now, do
- 22:28Speaker 2: better than me. Do provide, do provide more better than me?
- 22:34Speaker 2: Don't follow what I do because it takes me a
- 22:38Speaker 2: long time to get here. And expression feelings and being
- 22:44Speaker 2: a gay black male, it's very hard. You know, being
- 22:49Speaker 2: gay is number one. It's the hardest. On top of
- 22:54Speaker 2: that me being black and me being big that on
- 22:57Speaker 2: top of it, that's a lot of layers that I carry,
- 23:02Speaker 2: you know, And it's a lot of emotional mindset. You
- 23:08Speaker 2: have to have to live in my community, to live
- 23:11Speaker 2: in all of this, but I'm telling you now it
- 23:16Speaker 2: will be okay. It will be okay because we are
- 23:21Speaker 2: out of safe space. I feel like I created Roy
- 23:24Speaker 2: and might have to say space for me and those
- 23:26Speaker 2: two people who like me, and there those people who
- 23:28Speaker 2: listen to me.
- 23:30Speaker 3: You might not agree why I say.
- 23:33Speaker 2: You might not likewise say, but you get something out
- 23:37Speaker 2: of it, you know, And I want somebody to get
- 23:43Speaker 2: something out of this today, because it is okay to
- 23:48Speaker 2: be emotional, It is okay to show your feelings. It
- 23:52Speaker 2: is okay to be feminine.
- 23:55Speaker 3: It's okay you.
- 23:56Speaker 2: The But if you're that number one person in their room,
- 24:04Speaker 2: if you get what I'm saying, then be that. Nobody's
- 24:08Speaker 2: stopping you from being who you are. Especially men out here,
- 24:13Speaker 2: they just now today, they just now expressing their feelings
- 24:16Speaker 2: more and more. Now, can I say that men are
- 24:22Speaker 2: doing too much manipulations?
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yeah they are. Some of them are being.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Too sensitive and taking everything to heart, like like they
- 24:38Speaker 2: don't listen then reacted, they don't think before speaking. Yes,
- 24:44Speaker 2: men are being more as like want to be in
- 24:47Speaker 2: a female role cool, have no property. If you feel
- 24:51Speaker 2: like you want to do that, go ahead. If you
- 24:55Speaker 2: are traditional man, be intrital man. If you do not
- 24:58Speaker 2: want to be that, be who you are. That's now everybody,
- 25:06Speaker 2: and and before I move into my next subject, my
- 25:08Speaker 2: next subject, I want I want you to ask this
- 25:13Speaker 2: question for you. Have you ever felt love and felt alone?
- 25:19Speaker 2: What does it feel to grow up without emotional guidance?
- 25:28Speaker 2: Do we repeat what we saw? Are we try to
- 25:31Speaker 2: fix it?
- 25:32Speaker 3: And?
- 25:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I girl with you on what you said on
- 25:35Speaker 2: that It is.
- 25:38Speaker 3: It is.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It is not to me to be emotional and emotional today.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It's not. It is the question, it's not to be
- 25:49Speaker 2: like but are we so? So? Here's my attention to that.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Here's my attention when I said that, are we intentionally
- 25:58Speaker 2: doing to please other people? Or we just acting what
- 26:02Speaker 2: we saw? Like? It's nothing wrong being so emotional? But
- 26:08Speaker 2: are we listening what people are seeing? Especially when it
- 26:11Speaker 2: comes down to a people who really matters to us?
- 26:16Speaker 2: You know? Sometimes we can be a pain in the ass.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Sometimes yes we can't. We can't we can be We
- 26:21Speaker 2: have our ego, especially women may have a big ego
- 26:23Speaker 2: than female. I'm gonna have to say it, men have
- 26:26Speaker 2: a bigger ego than females and we and our ego
- 26:32Speaker 2: gets so big and blow out a balloon and everything
- 26:38Speaker 2: getting emotional. And now these days, I'll say this, this
- 26:42Speaker 2: generation we live in here is very too sensitive. And
- 26:45Speaker 2: why I say that because they do not know how
- 26:48Speaker 2: to supresh their feelings in a way that this should
- 26:50Speaker 2: be spreshing. Now, my generation, we went to therapy.
- 26:57Speaker 3: You know, we didn't. We didn't.
- 26:58Speaker 2: We didn't put everything under the we bring everything to lights.
- 27:05Speaker 2: In this generation, they pick up a gun, they shoot.
- 27:11Speaker 2: They don't like have a conversation. Now do I do?
- 27:16Speaker 2: Do I agree with violence? Eat his z? Do I
- 27:21Speaker 2: believe a life of life?
- 27:23Speaker 3: Nope?
- 27:29Speaker 2: Cases by cases, I would say that cases by cases,
- 27:32Speaker 2: but nobody should die anywhere, Like I should be honest
- 27:35Speaker 2: with you.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I'll take that back. I'll take that back. Life of
- 27:39Speaker 3: life doesn't no no, no, no no. You should not
- 27:43Speaker 3: pick up a gun and somebody cann like curse you
- 27:45Speaker 3: while or somebody made you miserable.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Like sometimes just walk away. I will say that, just
- 27:51Speaker 2: walk away, because I'm telling you, behind closed doors, behind
- 27:55Speaker 2: on bars, what's freedom?
- 28:00Speaker 3: And that's from my grandma.
- 28:04Speaker 2: That's when they I'm telling you, I know a lot
- 28:07Speaker 2: of people who've been behind prison that tell you, I
- 28:12Speaker 2: love my freedom and I love my life. But let's
- 28:18Speaker 2: let's and let's get into it. But two, I want
- 28:22Speaker 2: just to ask those questions and the same thing I
- 28:26Speaker 2: said today men's today. So let's let's talk about mens today,
- 28:30Speaker 2: you know, because this conversation starts to get uncomfortable, you know,
- 28:35Speaker 2: man will open up more more. Men's are talking about therapy,
- 28:39Speaker 2: talking about traumas. Men are talking about you know, they're
- 28:41Speaker 2: feeling identity and healing things that they never knew before.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Like some people.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Are looking for growth, others not. Others are looking for
- 28:53Speaker 2: the weakness. And when it tends to be why that,
- 28:57Speaker 2: people said men's are too solved, and it gets to
- 29:01Speaker 2: the point where men's are too soft, you know, But
- 29:05Speaker 2: let me slow it down, let me ask.
- 29:07Speaker 3: The real question to the men's out there.
- 29:12Speaker 2: And men's are finally saying, you know, I'm hurt, I'm struggling,
- 29:18Speaker 2: and I don't feel okay, a fact, fact, I'm.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Exactly I'm thinking the words of my mouth.
- 29:33Speaker 2: But men's are really asking not these days, I'm hurt,
- 29:37Speaker 2: I'm struggling, and I don't feel okay.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Doesn't make them weak?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Uh? Does that make him honest? Because honesty feels uncomfortable
- 29:49Speaker 2: when you used to be sellent now. I think the
- 29:53Speaker 2: way we're saying it now, it is not too softness.
- 29:59Speaker 2: It's not the softness but being visible, being visible. And
- 30:05Speaker 2: what I mean by that they are being seen back
- 30:08Speaker 2: then is visible not being seen.
- 30:09Speaker 3: That's what I say about that when we.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Are seeing things that are not always just not being spoken.
- 30:16Speaker 2: You know, I'm gonna be real just because where the
- 30:19Speaker 2: balance need the matter. Everybody is libel. Vulnerability is growth.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Not everybody, not everything is the label of viilippeen being growth.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Some men use emotional to avoid responsibilities. Someone said this
- 30:35Speaker 2: is how I feel about don't take accountability.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Of what they're trying to do.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And a flash rich people, it does you know, we
- 30:46Speaker 2: we we get to the point of men, we get
- 30:48Speaker 2: to the point of we don't know how to accountability.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, we don't.
- 30:55Speaker 2: And it goes to the same thing the females. And
- 30:57Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not knocking them down, but I'm talking
- 31:00Speaker 2: to the men. We don't know how to take accountability. And yes,
- 31:07Speaker 2: it's okay to special feelings, but also ment where you
- 31:09Speaker 2: are wrong. Like I said, men got this big ego
- 31:14Speaker 2: and get out and get uncomfortable in this big balloon
- 31:19Speaker 2: and they don't like to admit when they are wrong.
- 31:23Speaker 2: And that's the problem. You know, naive that you have
- 31:27Speaker 2: a two conversations happen at the same time. One side
- 31:29Speaker 2: that men need to open up more. The outside men
- 31:32Speaker 2: men need to toughen up again. This is now, We
- 31:36Speaker 2: are definitely having this conversation.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Now, where is the in between?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Because truth if both sides are missing something, because the
- 31:50Speaker 2: real answer is not one or the other, the real
- 31:54Speaker 2: answers balanced. Men need to learn how to feel but
- 32:01Speaker 2: still be a leaders. It's okay to express yourself. It's
- 32:08Speaker 2: okay to to.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Talk to somebody.
- 32:14Speaker 2: It's okay to be like, hey to a female, even
- 32:17Speaker 2: some even some guys talk to guys. And I know,
- 32:20Speaker 2: I talked to my other half. You know, we talk
- 32:22Speaker 2: about a feeling. You know, we check into each other.
- 32:24Speaker 2: You know, it's just very important that you get checked up.
- 32:28Speaker 2: It's very important and and sometimes you don't even have
- 32:33Speaker 2: to have a conversation to other people. You just need
- 32:35Speaker 2: to check in it on yourself, like every morning when
- 32:39Speaker 2: you wake up. You know, I think I feel like
- 32:42Speaker 2: everybody should, you know. Yeah, see, we're gonna get into that.
- 32:51Speaker 3: We're gonna get into it.
- 32:52Speaker 2: We're gonna get into a relationship, healthy relationship, because it's
- 32:58Speaker 2: it's very important and that we still take a dollibility.
- 33:06Speaker 2: It's very important that you know we checked on on
- 33:09Speaker 2: each other. It's very important, and checking it on yourself
- 33:13Speaker 2: in general, like wake it up in the morning and
- 33:17Speaker 2: be like, hey, how do I feel yesterday? Like I
- 33:20Speaker 2: feel like every guy every first or so, I said
- 33:22Speaker 2: a quote to the self, something to make sure they
- 33:25Speaker 2: are they here mentally, because sometimes we be having a
- 33:31Speaker 2: rough days. Sometimes our co workers be pissing us off.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Sometimes our boss be pissing it off. Sometimes our friends
- 33:38Speaker 2: be pissed off. Sometimes the world we live in will
- 33:40Speaker 2: piss us off. Like we always on edge, and with
- 33:46Speaker 2: this administration, we are definitely always on edge.
- 33:50Speaker 3: But that's not here.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I did the point I want to talk about. It's
- 33:57Speaker 2: okay to check in on yourself. You don't have to
- 34:00Speaker 2: have nobody else's pnniction. Sometimes everybody don't need a therapist.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Sometimes sometimes therapy is sometimes it's a scam. I mean,
- 34:11Speaker 2: if you want me to sit here and talk to you,
- 34:12Speaker 2: sit here and talk to you, be like mm hmmm,
- 34:15Speaker 2: mm hmmm.
- 34:16Speaker 3: So I'm gonna pat the same thing back to you.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Sometimes you could you are your own therapy. Sometimes you
- 34:25Speaker 2: just waste too money because you just wanted someone to
- 34:26Speaker 2: hear you out. And it's okay to do that if
- 34:29Speaker 2: you need help for it. Sometimes your friend could be
- 34:32Speaker 2: your therapist. I don't, I don't call. I used to
- 34:36Speaker 2: go therapy, but I don't go therapy anymore because I
- 34:40Speaker 2: check in myself. I make sure that I'm giving myself
- 34:44Speaker 2: one hundred percent every single day. Now if I feel
- 34:48Speaker 2: like I'm going sideways, oh I feel like the person
- 34:53Speaker 2: anxiety is taken over, then I have a check in
- 34:58Speaker 2: with my therapist. That therapists probably don't even see me,
- 35:04Speaker 2: probably what two years, probably just to check in. Billy Gay, Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 2: I'm good. Anything you talk about, No, and sometimes don't
- 35:15Speaker 2: even weigh up the money. Yeah, everybody going through something. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 2: everybody have a struggle. Everybody's a title to their own opinion.
- 35:25Speaker 2: That's why I set the beginning. You know, it's my
- 35:27Speaker 2: opinion reversus yours, and we can find them the ground.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Like I said, you don't have to agree what I'm saying.
- 35:32Speaker 2: But sometimes you listen to me, are like, oh, I
- 35:35Speaker 2: see you get the saying. So I want to ask
- 35:38Speaker 2: you this questions again, you know mental all the days.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Need to find that balance, need need to find that
- 35:45Speaker 2: balance and to take accountability and also be honest. You know,
- 35:51Speaker 2: are men weaker than are just being more honest? If
- 35:55Speaker 2: vulnerability is uncomfortable for people to see, where does accountability
- 36:00Speaker 2: to fit into emotionals? Are we willing to grow through emotions?
- 36:08Speaker 2: Where is the balance? What comes down to men? I
- 36:13Speaker 2: want you to ask those questions because every time I
- 36:16Speaker 2: I want you to ask the question of yourself. And
- 36:18Speaker 2: it goes the same thing with females. You know, are
- 36:21Speaker 2: you being a better person as you what yesterday? You know,
- 36:26Speaker 2: I'm not a female, not a female, don't know how
- 36:29Speaker 2: females feel. I don't. I don't get that I'm a male.
- 36:32Speaker 2: At the end of the day, I am Miguel and
- 36:34Speaker 2: the end of the day. But and it goes to
- 36:40Speaker 2: our next conversation. Relationships and expectations now will come down
- 36:53Speaker 2: to relationship is where everything shows up. You know a
- 36:57Speaker 2: lot of people say men don't communicate, But let me
- 37:03Speaker 2: ask you this, do men not communicate or do their
- 37:10Speaker 2: communicate differently? Because if men were to never taught how
- 37:16Speaker 2: to be emotional, if men was never taught emotional language,
- 37:23Speaker 2: how he is supposed to act on it. On top
- 37:29Speaker 2: of that, how do you expect the men to have
- 37:34Speaker 2: a safe space because being strong but being emotional, being
- 37:42Speaker 2: a leader but not in control, being vulnerable. Don't need
- 37:47Speaker 2: to be weak because all that comes out in the relationship
- 37:57Speaker 2: not confusing. You know, that's not confused. Being leader to
- 38:02Speaker 2: be frustration. And it's on both sides because non the
- 38:06Speaker 2: mans feel like, no matter what I do is not enough.
- 38:13Speaker 3: And I think that way. Everybody.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I think that way, everybody going through no matter what
- 38:19Speaker 2: I do is not enough, especially no it deals with
- 38:22Speaker 2: these females, and I can be wrong. It's the same
- 38:25Speaker 2: with the gods. It's saying the gods when you didn't
- 38:28Speaker 2: the same sex. It's the same thing. Are you making
- 38:34Speaker 2: enough money? What are you providing? How's your mostal stability?
- 38:44Speaker 2: You know, where's your mindset? What is your plans for
- 38:47Speaker 2: five years from now? Like that is a lot to
- 38:51Speaker 2: deal with, especially when you don't have no plans, especially
- 38:57Speaker 2: when you're getting to know somebody, because you know, females
- 39:03Speaker 2: want men to make a lot of money, and sometimes
- 39:06Speaker 2: men are being okay that females are making more than them.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Some are just too lazy to get a job because
- 39:17Speaker 2: they are very capable of what they wanted to do,
- 39:19Speaker 2: they just feel lazy, too comfortable. Sometimes, y'all, females makes
- 39:24Speaker 2: guys feel not manly and taking care of the massulinity.
- 39:37Speaker 2: It's okay to bring a bread winning in the house,
- 39:38Speaker 2: so not every man wants that. Every man wants to
- 39:41Speaker 2: be the bread winner. Every man want to be a
- 39:44Speaker 2: chief in their house. Every man wants to feel I
- 39:47Speaker 2: can't say every man. Some men, I'm gonna take that back.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Some man wants to feel important to the egos, to
- 39:56Speaker 2: the emotions. Some traditional man wants to be that some
- 40:00Speaker 2: tradition men do not want their women to work to
- 40:03Speaker 2: take care of the household. Some men want their women
- 40:06Speaker 2: to work to bring in the income. Ninety days, you're
- 40:09Speaker 2: gonna need two incomes. I'm just saying you're gonna need
- 40:13Speaker 2: two incoms. But ninety days men are not taking care
- 40:21Speaker 2: of their responsibilities. They are having kids and kids after kids,
- 40:27Speaker 2: and as the kids that as the kids, they're not
- 40:29Speaker 2: taking care of them. They not taking care of them.
- 40:31Speaker 2: And wonder why we have a low percentage of fathers
- 40:38Speaker 2: being in some life. And now, granted I give the people.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna give the men's this. You have other men
- 40:48Speaker 2: stepping out into our father roles, being stepfathers, you know,
- 40:53Speaker 2: being role models, being leaders, you know, having these mental
- 40:57Speaker 2: mental program having these.
- 41:00Speaker 3: What's what I'm looking for, what's the what I'm looking
- 41:02Speaker 3: for big brother programs to have the.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Rules because I feel like kids ninety day they lost
- 41:09Speaker 2: in the sauce. They don't know how to express their feelings.
- 41:13Speaker 2: They don't know how to have conversations. It's always always
- 41:20Speaker 2: got a weapon. And I understand it's frustrated. I understand
- 41:25Speaker 2: it's I don't want to say nuanced. It's more normalized.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Ninety days, it is. We have normalized it now. We
- 41:40Speaker 2: have normalized you know, mothers are blaming in their son,
- 41:44Speaker 2: their father is better than their daughter. It has been
- 41:46Speaker 2: normalized that our kids out here and not getting angry.
- 41:54Speaker 2: We have normalized that kids are not even finishing college.
- 41:58Speaker 2: We have normalized our kicking our kids out of the
- 42:00Speaker 2: house way too early. We have normalized that once you're eighteen,
- 42:08Speaker 2: you are a doubt. No they're not. Yeah they are,
- 42:14Speaker 2: but they're still minds to develop.
- 42:16Speaker 4: They're still need goddess after age of eighteen, they still
- 42:20Speaker 4: need got it, especially in their twenties, and the twenty
- 42:24Speaker 4: is most of them portant process.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Of life when you are going to make mistakes. And
- 42:33Speaker 2: so many men's are lost in the song. And so
- 42:36Speaker 2: many men's are having kids way too early.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Even not even have the.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Mindset of how to raise a kid, how detect how
- 42:45Speaker 2: to change a pample, how to make a bottle, what
- 42:49Speaker 2: do they do when the babies cry?
- 42:51Speaker 3: How what do you do when a baby's stick? They
- 42:53Speaker 3: don't know how to do that, and and.
- 43:00Speaker 2: And that's and and that's that's very normalized.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Nine these days.
- 43:07Speaker 2: We have normalize certain things. We have normalized this is
- 43:12Speaker 2: what a relationship looks like. We have normalized that. We're
- 43:19Speaker 2: just gonna be in the first day these one night staying,
- 43:23Speaker 2: we're gonna call her a day. And sometimes females are
- 43:26Speaker 2: okay with that. You know, sometimes females just want a
- 43:28Speaker 2: baby and not a husband. A baby daddy is not
- 43:32Speaker 2: a husband. Now to day, you know, people get married
- 43:34Speaker 2: and actually two days later, two years in a relationship,
- 43:37Speaker 2: they work, they got divorced.
- 43:39Speaker 3: A lot of people don't know what a relationship looks like.
- 43:44Speaker 2: You know, we we we we you know, we have
- 43:47Speaker 2: sex with a B, C, and D and be fine
- 43:50Speaker 2: with it.
- 43:51Speaker 3: And we don't know who a baby daddy is or
- 43:55Speaker 3: we don't know.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Where my child at when I'm gonna ask, you don't
- 44:00Speaker 2: even know your kids, how your kid is. You don't
- 44:03Speaker 2: even know your kid's birthday, and that's a problem.
- 44:06Speaker 3: We don't even know how they have a communication.
- 44:09Speaker 2: We don't even know how to shut up and listen sometimes,
- 44:14Speaker 2: and that's that's the relationship on they day. We make
- 44:16Speaker 2: it normalize and why music's work frequently because.
- 44:19Speaker 3: It's you see all over.
- 44:22Speaker 2: We see it on social media, we see it on
- 44:25Speaker 2: Netflix's for you Hulu, we see it. We see in
- 44:31Speaker 2: the person that's who's next to us. We we you
- 44:35Speaker 2: see in our kids. You sometimes kids seeing their parents
- 44:42Speaker 2: who dating older. That that that's how it is. We
- 44:51Speaker 2: normalize it. And is it wrong to say that how
- 44:55Speaker 2: we feel ninety days now, you just it is what
- 45:00Speaker 2: it is by telling you having a health relationship. But
- 45:05Speaker 2: i'm'a tell you communication is very important and not to
- 45:14Speaker 2: not to be heard, but to listen to what they're
- 45:19Speaker 2: saying and acting on it. I'm not saying to everybody's perfect.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I was to say, I can't say I don't perfect
- 45:25Speaker 2: because it took me a long time. Where we at today,
- 45:28Speaker 2: I'm in a five relationship, almost a five year relationship.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Like to and be honest how you feel. Like, let's
- 45:42Speaker 2: say to your dude or to your female, like, hey,
- 45:45Speaker 2: I don't have one hundred fenty day I don't I
- 45:48Speaker 2: don't have all of it today. My mind is frustrated.
- 45:53Speaker 3: My my, my heart, I'm I'm not here today.
- 45:57Speaker 2: And it's it's okay to say that. And and if
- 46:02Speaker 2: our partner of yours don't understand that, then you in
- 46:05Speaker 2: the wrong position. Then that's not for you. Don't don't
- 46:10Speaker 2: settle for nothing less that you know you are worthy for.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I think it's it speaks ninety days. Like even with
- 46:20Speaker 2: the marriage, like we have these big weddings, you know,
- 46:23Speaker 2: we have these fams coming up, we have the distination wedding,
- 46:27Speaker 2: and sometime.
- 46:30Speaker 3: We don't even go.
- 46:32Speaker 2: We don't even fix the problems that we have in relationship.
- 46:36Speaker 2: We just cover up because it looks good. It looks
- 46:39Speaker 2: good to get everybody to get married. It looks good
- 46:41Speaker 2: to have a ring on the finger. Oh that's a
- 46:43Speaker 2: big rock. But nobody's take the time to get to
- 46:46Speaker 2: know somebody. You don't even know your partner favorite color.
- 46:50Speaker 2: You don't even know what their you know, turn off,
- 46:52Speaker 2: a turn turn on. You don't even know their mother
- 46:55Speaker 2: and father. You don't even know their past. You don't
- 46:58Speaker 2: even know where they come from. You don't even know
- 47:02Speaker 2: where their breaking point is.
- 47:04Speaker 3: You do not know you.
- 47:08Speaker 2: And that's the hard thing about it. We get into
- 47:11Speaker 2: relationship to please other people. We get in a relationship, but.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Oh I got a man, now I got a female.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, we don't get through that. And it's okay.
- 47:21Speaker 2: It's okay if you want to do that. A lot
- 47:25Speaker 2: of people out there are fine with it. A lot
- 47:28Speaker 2: of people are fine with having.
- 47:30Speaker 3: A relationship opening relationship.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Not me, but people are fine with that. But you
- 47:37Speaker 2: have to be honest. But also you have to give
- 47:40Speaker 2: the partner a choice if they want that. But also
- 47:44Speaker 2: you have to give you a partner if they want a relationship.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Because communication is all about telling you communicate, communicate, communicate,
- 47:54Speaker 2: and don't overshadow their feelings either. Don't shut their feelings down,
- 47:59Speaker 2: especially what a man is talking to you, how they
- 48:01Speaker 2: tell you how they feel. Don't don't do that that.
- 48:06Speaker 2: That's the most disrespectful thing ever, because I feel like
- 48:11Speaker 2: men's We come so far as not being shut down.
- 48:16Speaker 2: We come so far of you know, of what a
- 48:24Speaker 2: man is? And and really nobody have a definition. What
- 48:32Speaker 2: is a man is? How a man SUPs to act?
- 48:35Speaker 2: And everybody have their different definitions, some are the same.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Nobody have a clear there is not a clear definition
- 48:44Speaker 2: that this means. This even with females. You we don't
- 48:50Speaker 2: even know how to be a lady. What's the definition
- 48:52Speaker 2: of being a lady? Class? Some people be ratchet, some
- 48:59Speaker 2: just some of them very emotional, Like what's the what's
- 49:04Speaker 2: the being a woman, what's the being a lady? What's
- 49:05Speaker 2: the being a man? What's the being a boy? Like?
- 49:07Speaker 2: There's no definition of these things. These are all on
- 49:11Speaker 2: feelings traditional from the Bible. To be honest with you,
- 49:20Speaker 2: there is it, no is it, no definition for these things?
- 49:30Speaker 2: And and I want to just bring it back is
- 49:36Speaker 2: you know, to my queer people out there, especially those
- 49:40Speaker 2: for our men's, you know right now.
- 49:46Speaker 3: We are doing so much. We we are really doing
- 49:49Speaker 3: too much, especially for my black for my for my
- 49:53Speaker 3: black gay mens, we are really doing too much. To
- 49:57Speaker 3: my back women. You want to call yourself, we're doing
- 49:59Speaker 3: some You need to calm down.
- 50:02Speaker 2: And those who get it get it into my great guys,
- 50:09Speaker 2: be okay, be comfortable who you are. It's okay if
- 50:17Speaker 2: you have a gay friend. It's all gay people just
- 50:20Speaker 2: not hitting on.
- 50:20Speaker 3: You, you know.
- 50:24Speaker 2: And I think and that goes with emotionals too, because
- 50:28Speaker 2: you're not comfortable who you are, you think it's like
- 50:32Speaker 2: having somebody who doesn't who doesn't have the same belief
- 50:35Speaker 2: as you, or.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Who love the same sex as you. Y'all can't be cool. Nah.
- 50:42Speaker 2: I can't say that everybody attention don't have a good tentions.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I can say that I feel like we all met
- 50:53Speaker 2: somebody who went through that, who really went through that,
- 51:00Speaker 2: and and it's nothing wrong being solved.
- 51:04Speaker 3: It is nothing wrong being who is nothing wrong for
- 51:09Speaker 3: being who you are. And and let kids be kids,
- 51:15Speaker 3: and and then and that kids because it's it's it's
- 51:17Speaker 3: it's way too.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Much of kids not being kids. And it goes back
- 51:23Speaker 2: what I say all the time. People need outlet people
- 51:29Speaker 2: just need to talk to somebody, even checking in yourself,
- 51:32Speaker 2: check with your family member of somebody, cause it's really
- 51:39Speaker 2: is okay. And yes, I'm going to leave you with this,
- 51:46Speaker 2: and yes the conversation might not be this long as
- 51:50Speaker 2: I usually be it. But I want to leave you
- 51:53Speaker 2: with this cause it's very important. You know, men's are
- 52:02Speaker 2: expressing itself and it's okay. So maybe men are too
- 52:07Speaker 2: sense of maybe.
- 52:09Speaker 3: Just need time when men don't have to lie anymore,
- 52:14Speaker 3: not lying about how they feel, not lying but what
- 52:17Speaker 3: they're dealing with, not lying about who they are.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Because maybe feeling uncomfortable it's new. Does it mean it
- 52:29Speaker 2: means to be wrong, doesn't mean that the goal is
- 52:32Speaker 2: to go back for being you know, traditional men not
- 52:34Speaker 2: speaking your feeling. The goal is to move forward. And
- 52:38Speaker 2: how we look at that. Can men can feel still
- 52:42Speaker 2: feeling be a leader. Men can still be strong and
- 52:46Speaker 2: so be honest. Men can have a safe space. We
- 52:51Speaker 2: just have to allow them to have a safe space.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Because I know there's somebody out there who's meant to
- 53:00Speaker 2: a mess up, who don't know how to chill their feelings,
- 53:05Speaker 2: who don't know how to out it, and just picking
- 53:09Speaker 2: up a gun and just picking up a gun and
- 53:11Speaker 2: just do wash You and everybody that's not okay to
- 53:15Speaker 2: talk to somebody, talk to your fan, family, school counselor something.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Check in on yourself, because at the end of the day,
- 53:22Speaker 2: you are poor as the next person who's next to you.
- 53:26Speaker 3: And I'm gonna say again, you.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Are important to the next person who's next to you,
- 53:35Speaker 2: and that's real. And be who you are what you
- 53:39Speaker 2: meant to be, and stop lining out here and take accountability.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Stop caring with the next person who said because at
- 53:50Speaker 3: the end of.
- 53:50Speaker 2: The day, sometimes everybody's not gonna have a contention who
- 53:53Speaker 2: you're talking to.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Tell you don't miss out your opportunity to grow.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Vulnerability is normalized, that's normalized even more. Hey, go check
- 54:10Speaker 2: up your husband and see he's okay. His mental health
- 54:12Speaker 2: is okay. Go check out your boyfriend and see he's okay.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Instead of sitting here like he ain't doing too much
- 54:19Speaker 2: or he ain't talking to me now he go check
- 54:22Speaker 2: on him.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Go check on your son and see he's okay.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Go check on your daughter, Go check on your your father,
- 54:29Speaker 2: see if he's okay. We gotta do more check ins.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Go check on your cousin while he'd been missing so long?
- 54:40Speaker 2: What happened figuring that out? So we sitting here judging,
- 54:46Speaker 2: and I want to leave you all today. Like I said.
- 54:50Speaker 2: You might not agree with me when I said the
- 54:52Speaker 2: whole tired night, but I hope you got something at
- 54:58Speaker 2: least a little bit, maybe just me being good for me,
- 55:01Speaker 2: just being here, just meeting up your day.
- 55:03Speaker 3: Maybe just you wanna see my face and I know.
- 55:06Speaker 2: I cute, right, But hope you got something out of this,
- 55:12Speaker 2: cause this is what Royal Mic is all about. Having
- 55:16Speaker 2: a space, space for everybody, having I say, space for
- 55:25Speaker 2: everybody that comes down to whatever you want to classify
- 55:30Speaker 2: yourself with. This is meant to be your say space.
- 55:34Speaker 2: And I'm here to drive the conversation, not record to
- 55:38Speaker 2: here to learn, to listen, to understand to people who
- 55:42Speaker 2: don't understand, who don't understand. That was Royal Mic any
- 55:47Speaker 2: platform I have, and that's when I'm with and telling you,
- 55:56Speaker 2: Like I said, I am Prince of Trysting Black Pride.
- 55:59Speaker 2: I do have a coming up on July twenty fifth.

- 56:07Speaker 2: is thirty dollars and it's it gonna be live and

- 56:15Speaker 2: It's national poetry. Mine it is write it down. And
- 56:22Speaker 2: that's the thing is I forgot to say, write it down.
- 56:25Speaker 2: If you can't talk about it, write it down and
- 56:28Speaker 2: you don't have to show the about it. You gonna
- 56:29Speaker 2: burn it.
- 56:30Speaker 3: And that's what that's all I forgot.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Write down sometimes pressure feelings, do a painting, go out,
- 56:36Speaker 2: do alrdy and it's so much things you could do
- 56:39Speaker 2: with spress your feelings, especially men's don't don't don't, don't
- 56:45Speaker 2: sit in, don't don't And like I said, get your
