  Luke 12, which says, "I tell you, my

  culture. We fear standing out when

  everyone else blends in. But Jesus says

  the greatest danger isn't losing your
• 1:30
  reputation. It's losing your allegiance.

  It's choosing safety over obedience,
• 1:36
  silence over courage, comfort over
• 1:39
  conviction. [snorts] And Jesus tells us
• 1:41
  exactly what's at stake. If you
• 1:43
  acknowledge him publicly, he'll
• 1:45
  acknowledge you before the angels of
• 1:47
  God. But if you deny him, if you shrink
• 1:50
  back, he'll deny you. Not because he's
• 1:52
  harsh, but because allegiance is the
• 1:55
  evidence of love. Jesus didn't come to
• 1:57
  build a religion that makes everyone
• 1:59
  feel okay with their traditions. He came

  to restore a relationship that demands
• 2:04
  loyalty to a king. And that loyalty,

  Jesus says, will divide houses,
• 2:09
  friendships, and religious circles. Not

  because you're looking for a fight, but

  because following Jesus exposes who or

  what we truly fear, and many will not

  tolerate that. Run today's play. Choose

  one place where you've been quiet. And

  today, take one courageous step of

  allegiance. Where has fear made you
• 2:29
  silent about Jesus? At work, at home, in
• 2:32
  your extended family, around your
• 2:34
  friends, in your online influence, in
• 2:37
  decisions where compromise feels easier
• 2:39
  than obedience. Speak truth with
• 2:41
  humility. Stand firm with love. Refuse
• 2:44
  compromise. Acknowledge Jesus openly.
• 2:48
  Better to stand alone with Jesus today
• 2:50
  than stand away from him forever. Thanks
