  latest episode. Finally one that I felt worthy to give my quick reaction on

  the last two or not you listen to the show anyway tomorrow, tomorrow,

  tomorrow if only right? So, I mean, like, this is some

  interesting choices made here, and some of the clips that we saw from before

  the season even premiered, where we saw Kirk saying a few things that made

  zero sense. Finally do now the whole I'm from space you know, I

  wasn't born on Earth was a weird thing to include in the initial trailers for
• 0:40
  the season, but now we see why right here in episode three, where

  On and Kirk travel back in time. I like the way that they set
• 0:50
  this up. It was a little unique, little different than how most time
• 0:53
  traveling episodes kind of happened. I kind of had some smiles and some laughs
• 0:57
  throughout the entire episode. I really enjoyed it. I even liked the little
• 1:00
  bit of, well not a little bit about a lot heavy romance between these
• 1:04
  two characters, one who knows he's destined to just not exist anymore, and
• 1:08
  the other that knows that she'll never have this person anymore. It's an interesting
• 1:12
  It's an interesting episode for sure, and I really love the fact that we
• 1:17
  know these side characters. Not that Kirk is a side character. He kind
• 1:22
  of is obviously in Strange New Worlds, but that Leon is really a side
• 1:27
  character. But she's someone we intimately know very very well, and we know
• 1:30
  a lot of our backstory. You know. We just know way more about
• 1:34
  her by season two, episode three than we ever knew about anybody on Discovery
• 1:40
  other than Michael Burnham, so and so ru. That was it. I
• 1:45
  still can't name the Bridge crew on Discovery and don't care. But anyway,

  back to a Strange New Worlds. Finally a good episode. I really enjoyed
• 1:51
  it. There's a lot to pick apart. There's some ups and downs.

  The driving thing was hilarious. I really enjoyed that they just missed the ability

  to have sabotage come on that that should have just I mean, come on,

  guys, you just just had it playing somewhere or even just like the

  copyright free you know version that someone did in a guitar only that's on the

  radio. When he starts the car out right, I mean, just something.

  The way they make the money with a chess hustle. It was fantastic.

  I loved it. I know there's a lot of people who are gonna

  poop poo that and they got a hotel room and yeah, he got it.

  Nah, it's great. It's great. So I enjoyed it. I

  can't wait to look talk with the guys about it and go through all the

  ins and outs, because there are some things about it that are a little

  irritating, but hey, overall, excellent episode. Feels like you might be
• 2:37
  getting back on track to the one offs of good stories, good interaction with
• 2:40
  character development, definitely improvement over the last two. So we'll see how it
