Grand Experience Gets Major Upgrade | Des Moines News
City council votes this Friday on a revamped plan for The Grand Experience, adding a 6,000-seat amphitheater and boosting tax incentives to over $100 million. The massive West Des Moines complex now includes a 142-room hotel, indoor waterpark, family entertainment center, second hotel with 120 rooms, and workforce housing — all set to break ground late 2027 with completion in 8-10 years.
