George Romero’s Final Zombie Story + Can Your Body Rate Horror? | 10/6/26
George A. Romero’s final zombie story has officially finished filming.
Principal photography has wrapped on TWILIGHT OF THE DEAD, developed from a story Romero conceived with Paolo Zelati before his death.
Kate Beckinsale and Betty Gabriel lead the film, with the Paz Brothers directing and longtime Romero collaborator Greg Nicotero handling special effects.
The film is being positioned as the final chapter in the zombie saga that began with Night of the Living Dead in 1968.
