- 0:49Speaker 2: Your girls just spells, and you know where you've landed.
- 0:52Speaker 2: You've landed in the safe space with Wes de.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Compress half have fun and guess what just.
- 0:59Speaker 2: As y'all it's being desiltra we here, we are here, Hey,
- 1:09Speaker 2: this is a desert does already does already does already
- 1:15Speaker 2: he does already doesn't? Right?
- 1:18Speaker 1: You look girl? You look good? Won't you that? Let
- 1:21Speaker 1: me that ain't read? Ready? How you be? Girl? Man,
- 1:29Speaker 1: jess I am good.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Today has been a uh, busy but good, busy but good.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I think that's kind of speaks to the season it's
- 1:37Speaker 2: been in this transitional preparing season of course, like technically
- 1:42Speaker 2: we're going into an actual we're in a new season.
- 1:45Speaker 2: All you know what I'm saying. And you can just
- 1:47Speaker 2: always just tell when things are just shifting and changing. Man,
- 1:52Speaker 2: let's talk about a shift. Jessica has been going through shift.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Flip yeah, side laid down to the side that fro
- 2:00Speaker 2: fried use a frying pant y'all your girls mentioned when
- 2:05Speaker 2: I've been telling you about transition and listen, I physically transitioned.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh that's not that's that's not right.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I didn't physically, yeah, obviously because you're watching me, but
- 2:20Speaker 2: you know that kind of okay, So let me just
- 2:28Speaker 2: that took a turn, that took a term.
- 2:31Speaker 1: So I moved. I moved.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I moved from Montgomery to Maham, back to my hometown, actually,
- 2:44Speaker 2: back in the place I was raised in. I'm making
- 2:46Speaker 2: the home I was raised in. So I'm renting from
- 2:49Speaker 2: my father right now, which is the very unique opportunity
- 2:53Speaker 2: because somebody was telling me the other day that they
- 2:55Speaker 2: were a lot of black families don't keep or they
- 3:00Speaker 2: haven't don't know a lot of black families that keep
- 3:02Speaker 2: the home. They're always wanting to sell it or do something.
- 3:07Speaker 2: And so I'm grateful for the opportunity that my daddy
- 3:09Speaker 2: has given me to, you know, uh.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Move with ease this.
- 3:17Speaker 2: But even though it's been like there's been an ease
- 3:20Speaker 2: to it, it's been some hardship to it for multiple
- 3:25Speaker 2: different reasons that some of the stuff I just won't
- 3:27Speaker 2: share because there's none of y'all business.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And I love y'all, but y'all I can't talk to
- 3:33Speaker 1: y'all about it.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But but I will share that. Earlier this year, I
- 3:41Speaker 2: was talking about my my my word for the year,
- 3:46Speaker 2: well for my birthday, and my word for the year
- 3:53Speaker 2: was or is resurrection. And that's the way I was
- 3:57Speaker 2: thinking about the fact that I had you guys. Uh
- 4:03Speaker 2: I asked you guys to dress up as we did.
- 4:08Speaker 1: We had all black at your birthday.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Y'all had didn't that because did you have the word
- 4:14Speaker 2: then or no? I had the word then and I
- 4:17Speaker 2: seen somebody, I saw someone else do it a black
- 4:21Speaker 2: to the death of Uh.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I don't know what they were talking about.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It was the death of something and was I think
- 4:28Speaker 2: regarding them like being outside like smacking and stuff and
- 4:33Speaker 2: uh so, so I had y'all were black. And I
- 4:39Speaker 2: thought about that yesterday and it made me think that.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Think about my word of the year resurrection.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And I was talking to our dear friend Bree here,
- 4:55Speaker 2: that's our friend, y'all. I show not too much with y'all,
- 4:58Speaker 2: but I'll share with y'all. But girl, she was praying
- 5:00Speaker 2: for me last night and she said something that was
- 5:04Speaker 2: so powerful. She was like, as you as the Lord showed,
- 5:08Speaker 2: as Jesus showed his hands to the disciple to prove
- 5:12Speaker 2: like him the whole. They he was crucified as you're
- 5:16Speaker 2: going through your crucifixion stage. Because I kept telling people
- 5:20Speaker 2: I feel like I'm dying. I kept telling I really,
- 5:25Speaker 2: they say, dot of flesh, baby, baby baby.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It's just like I'm still trying to figure out.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay, Lord, I know not to curse this season because
- 5:37Speaker 2: I know this is stretching my capacity. I also know
- 5:41Speaker 2: this is hurting. This is hurt This is painful. People
- 5:45Speaker 2: will see the glitz and Glenna Park, but I'm gonna
- 5:46Speaker 2: tell you all the truth. It's been painful, but if
- 5:49Speaker 2: I can still stand and come through it now on
- 5:52Speaker 2: my own, I got people like your girl does at Wray.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's why we stuck. Like I wish, I wish somebody
- 5:58Speaker 2: would try to I will. I wish a husband would
- 6:02Speaker 2: for real, but we already know.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I got husband approval hashtag. I'm in there. But I
- 6:13Speaker 1: think that if I didn't.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Have people like you breathe Stacy, if I didn't I
- 6:19Speaker 2: didn't have people like y'all, I I would be missed
- 6:24Speaker 2: up right now, real talk, I would be messed up.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I was talking to my sister, and I know I've
- 6:32Speaker 2: been I've been wearing out like I'm not a lie.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So I'm looking forward to the break that we're about
- 6:38Speaker 2: to take. Can you can you talk to them about
- 6:41Speaker 2: the break that we're finna take, because and then we're
- 6:44Speaker 2: gonna get into some topics. I think that some people
- 6:46Speaker 2: don't know when it's time to to take a break.
- 6:49Speaker 2: But there's biblical references that we can use in order
- 6:54Speaker 2: to support I need for a risk. You know when
- 6:58Speaker 2: we started last year, we did this last year. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 2: last year. We did it last year in July. And honestly,
- 7:05Speaker 2: really it ain't like it ain't like it isn't like
- 7:08Speaker 2: we're we necessarily say hey, at the time, we're gonna
- 7:11Speaker 2: do this month this month. It really kind of just
- 7:13Speaker 2: it is probably kind of predicated on kind of like
- 7:15Speaker 2: what's happening, you know what I'm saying. And so last
- 7:18Speaker 2: year we was like, hey, we're gonna take off of
- 7:20Speaker 2: the month. We didn't do that one at the top
- 7:22Speaker 2: of the year. Closer to the top of the.
- 7:24Speaker 1: We did July last year. Yeah, July last year.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And what that did It allowed us to prepare for it, right,
- 7:29Speaker 2: So we record, there's no secret record once a month,
- 7:33Speaker 2: and typically we pre record for the for the next month, right, So,
- 7:37Speaker 2: which meant if we're gonna be off a whole month,
- 7:39Speaker 2: that's four episodes that we knew that we had to
- 7:41Speaker 2: have make sure that we had ready to go. So
- 7:43Speaker 2: it just allowed us to, uh do some extra recordings
- 7:46Speaker 2: and things like that, so that we were prepared for
- 7:49Speaker 2: the month of July to calm because we won't recording nothing.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Baby went to go part we did with an anti
- 7:57Speaker 1: PAM and she just like loved on a so good.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Like I loved.
- 8:01Speaker 2: She was very intentional about making sure that she planted
- 8:06Speaker 2: seeds of one rest but also planet seeds of uh
- 8:10Speaker 2: just doing the things that you love that brings your
- 8:12Speaker 2: joy to help fill you up, because there's there's gonna
- 8:14Speaker 2: be times, yes we need to physically stop and rest,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but there's gonna be sometimes where the schedule is is
- 8:20Speaker 2: not allowing that, right, So you have to do those
- 8:23Speaker 2: do the things that still bring you joy, that still
- 8:27Speaker 2: kind of helped fill you up. And I think that's
- 8:30Speaker 2: kind of what I took back from that moment because
- 8:31Speaker 2: I loved I always I call it fancy coffee. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I was about to say she talked about basically basically
- 8:38Speaker 2: in TPAM, she said, you can have stopbards at home
- 8:41Speaker 2: and baby listen. She was her spread was laid. So
- 8:45Speaker 2: that was the first time I was like, dang, this
- 8:46Speaker 2: fancy coffee. So it was like little certain things that
- 8:48Speaker 2: I just picked up and I still kind of.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Do because I was like, I like this, you know.
- 8:51Speaker 2: She's like I like, you know, this kind of thing
- 8:54Speaker 2: is in my coffee, and I like this kind of
- 8:55Speaker 2: teas and I like these things, and so I don't
- 8:58Speaker 2: always have to buy them out.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I can buy them and do that home, like anytime
- 9:02Speaker 1: I get ready to I you don't have to wait
- 9:04Speaker 1: on the pleasure. I don't have to wait on a pleasure.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I think that a part of being And this is
- 9:11Speaker 2: for like any creatives, anybody that's been on like YouTube
- 9:15Speaker 2: or but especially the people that were called to specifically podcasters.
- 9:22Speaker 2: That first year was a grind, like more so mentally
- 9:27Speaker 2: for me, especially when I didn't have desil Ray. So
- 9:30Speaker 2: I I got DESI Ray in between year one and
- 9:33Speaker 2: year two when it was zero to one, it was
- 9:36Speaker 2: just me and so I was trying to navigate that thing.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I was trying to figure things out, and I wasn't
- 9:44Speaker 2: successful because as successful as I am now, because it's
- 9:48Speaker 2: when the Lord gives you a partner.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Right, talk to me, talk to the people.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It enhances what you when you what you have, it
- 9:56Speaker 2: does not dilute. And so if you if you're struggling
- 10:02Speaker 2: in partnership or struggling in the season and you have
- 10:04Speaker 2: a partner, the enhancement got to be there even in
- 10:08Speaker 2: the struggle because deesil Ray and I have had struggle moments.
- 10:12Speaker 1: We was homeless. We were homeless.
- 10:18Speaker 2: So when people tell me, oh, I can't, I can't
- 10:20Speaker 2: do this because I don't have but we didn't even
- 10:22Speaker 2: have a place to record.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Okay, we was out here.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Can we borrow your business, then we're gonna give you
- 10:27Speaker 2: flip free publicity type stuff until b GTV. We're not
- 10:31Speaker 2: there today, but they're still our brothers and brothers and sisters.
- 10:35Speaker 2: We kind of just felt like during the episode today,
- 10:38Speaker 2: so guess what you just we're doing an episode. And
- 10:41Speaker 2: so I think that after so much hard work, the
- 10:47Speaker 2: Lord just put on my heart for us to just
- 10:51Speaker 2: we don't have to do this every month. Even though
- 10:53Speaker 2: it's just only once a month, it's still on behind
- 10:58Speaker 2: the scenes.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You got the admin part, you have the you have the.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Editing, you got the social media, media content, you have
- 11:08Speaker 2: a lot of things and and just not having to
- 11:13Speaker 2: think about interviewing someone talking or having a conversation. I
- 11:18Speaker 2: think that it was necessary for that season. And then
- 11:22Speaker 2: so when we did it last year, I said, I
- 11:24Speaker 2: think this needs to be an annual thing.
- 11:26Speaker 1: We have to plan for.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Risk, and I think that's why a lot of us don't.
- 11:29Speaker 2: We're not successful in the podcasting world because we don't
- 11:34Speaker 2: plan to risk that. Okay, So just a quick we
- 11:38Speaker 2: we help people enhance their podcast in podcasts.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So my brand under Jessica S. Smith.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You guys, if you paid attention to my social media lately,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I've been offering podcast strategies and all that good stuff,
- 11:53Speaker 2: trying to work on a consistent schedule. But babe, they
- 11:56Speaker 2: sold that that first one out. Doesn't rightly they sold
- 11:58Speaker 2: that first one out. There's a and I have something
- 12:01Speaker 2: together called pop podcast on Purpose.
- 12:03Speaker 1: And one of the.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Things that we teach is batch recording. And if you
- 12:10Speaker 2: don't know what batch recording is is basically what Desira
- 12:12Speaker 2: said in the beginning. As far as we do four
- 12:17Speaker 2: episodes in one sitting, we do four episodes in one city,
- 12:22Speaker 2: and normally that those episodes are for the for the
- 12:26Speaker 2: next month. So when y'all look at these episodes, typically
- 12:30Speaker 2: there there are episodes that we did previous month outside
- 12:35Speaker 2: of people like you know when we did Omar. You know,
- 12:39Speaker 2: if it's like special stuff, we'll kind of like change
- 12:42Speaker 2: up the schedule or whatnot. But and that I'm let's
- 12:47Speaker 2: put a pin in that. I'm proud of myself because
- 12:50Speaker 2: Jessica used to be strict.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Yeah, just used to be striged.
- 12:55Speaker 2: No, it's gotta be like this, we gotta stay in
- 12:58Speaker 2: the same place.
- 12:59Speaker 1: We gotta have this subject.
- 13:02Speaker 2: So as she talked about that, that partnership, what what
- 13:07Speaker 2: what it has done for both of us. I think
- 13:10Speaker 2: it's stretched both of us personally. Like I'm not a
- 13:13Speaker 2: I'm very like woo, let's free, let's go, let's be
- 13:15Speaker 2: just go woo, let's do it, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And I'm not I'm very high level like visionary, high level.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I'm not used to be. I used to be much
- 13:25Speaker 2: struggle with the details of a thing, right, Jessica's very
- 13:28Speaker 2: type A. It's got to be like dress right, dress
- 13:31Speaker 2: like boom boom boom, were gonna put all things in
- 13:32Speaker 2: the boxes and what our partnership has done was enhanced
- 13:37Speaker 2: what we have, right, So it has made me now
- 13:40Speaker 2: like I'm paying close attention to details of things.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yeah right, and Jessica has.
- 13:44Speaker 2: You know, just relaxed a little bit because for us
- 13:48Speaker 2: not to be a bg TV right now, it could
- 13:51Speaker 2: have been a whole thing. It's the background is supposed
- 13:54Speaker 2: to be. But you know what's interesting though, I think
- 13:57Speaker 2: I had to go through that part to be able
- 14:00Speaker 2: to tell other podcasters.
- 14:02Speaker 1: That I'm teaching weekly via the seven figure podcast community.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I tell them every week it is okay, first of all,
- 14:14Speaker 1: use what you have, because what you have is enough
- 14:17Speaker 1: for you to start. Oh my god, I'm gonna repeat
- 14:22Speaker 1: that because that just the first one was for me.
- 14:24Speaker 1: This one for y'all. Use what you have. It's enough
- 14:29Speaker 1: for you to start.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Start, and some of us get into our headspace, a
- 14:34Speaker 2: headspace of well what it doesn't look like this, and
- 14:38Speaker 2: it doesn't look like that. I was talking to a
- 14:40Speaker 2: client yesterday when we were doing one on one.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And I was telling her.
- 14:46Speaker 2: She's she's about to have an adult podcast and she's
- 14:49Speaker 2: just a dope person, right, but she's very she is
- 14:53Speaker 2: very much so type A because of her profession she
- 14:57Speaker 2: she is together, and I get I got her. I
- 15:00Speaker 2: understood her concerns, but I had to tell her. I
- 15:04Speaker 2: was like, you have majority of what you would need.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You have the aesthetics, you have, you know what I'm saying,
- 15:09Speaker 2: you're branding, you have all of this. And when I
- 15:13Speaker 2: was we were talking about a mic and another I
- 15:17Speaker 2: think a chair or something like that. At first we
- 15:19Speaker 2: were bringing it up and I heard her say that,
- 15:21Speaker 2: but then we got to the deeper issue of what
- 15:23Speaker 2: she was concerned about would mess up her consistency.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Now let's talk.
- 15:27Speaker 2: About you know what I'm saying, Let's talk about that, okay.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And so when we were able to talk about that,
- 15:34Speaker 2: we were coming up with some solutions regarding, Okay, if
- 15:37Speaker 2: this is gonna be this, how would this look right?
- 15:42Speaker 2: The solution will And I'm saying this or whatever because
- 15:44Speaker 2: I don't want you to have business. But y'all said
- 15:48Speaker 2: it when it comes out, y'all, y'all see it when
- 15:49Speaker 2: it comes out, because guess what Jessica and does really
- 15:52Speaker 2: more than like gonna have something to do with it.
- 15:56Speaker 2: But but I think I needed to be reminded of
- 16:01Speaker 2: I used to be that person. I used to be
- 16:04Speaker 2: the one telling Desert Ray, no, we can't do this.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I don't want to do this.
- 16:09Speaker 2: We can't do this, and da da da da what
- 16:12Speaker 2: we're about to get ready to do for the break?
- 16:14Speaker 2: She advised it last year. I told her no. I
- 16:18Speaker 2: told her no, but we were, we were. We had
- 16:20Speaker 2: a target. We had a target. We had a goal
- 16:23Speaker 2: to get to one hundred episodes. So I was I
- 16:27Speaker 2: was solid on my note. I think she understood it
- 16:29Speaker 2: more now I was, like the target, there's a different
- 16:32Speaker 2: type of target. Like right now we're focusing on and
- 16:35Speaker 2: we'll just tell you truth. We're focused on monetization, like
- 16:37Speaker 2: we're focused on bringing making from content to cash, as
- 16:42Speaker 2: Omar would say. And so now that's our focus, and
- 16:47Speaker 2: we're taking we take the break.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Now we're taking another break.
- 16:52Speaker 2: So the next few episodes after this you'll see our
- 16:55Speaker 2: older episodes.
- 16:57Speaker 1: We're doing a throwback. That's first.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Let's just talk about how much is it is a
- 17:02Speaker 2: blessing to be able to like you have we have
- 17:05Speaker 2: a there's a bank of content, got a catalog, a
- 17:08Speaker 2: catalog of content, like and it's all like because of
- 17:13Speaker 2: it's all kingdom, you know what I'm saying, And we
- 17:16Speaker 2: can we can put it back and it still be
- 17:18Speaker 2: just as good, just as relevant as it was when
- 17:20Speaker 2: we did it.
- 17:21Speaker 1: A year ago. Yeah or whatever that looked like you
- 17:23Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And she and she didn't like last I think last
- 17:27Speaker 2: year when we were talking about the break, she was like, no,
- 17:30Speaker 2: we gotta d So we made sure that we got
- 17:32Speaker 2: the episodes in this year, like she said, because the
- 17:35Speaker 2: focus is a little different, and we got the content.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, we can, we can.
- 17:39Speaker 2: We can step back a little bit and grab some
- 17:42Speaker 2: some throwbacks and still it still be a blessing. You
- 17:44Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. The content is still relevant. That's
- 17:47Speaker 2: the beauty of starting. Come on, that's the that's the
- 17:50Speaker 2: beauty of starting. Like I there's there's YouTube videos that
- 17:54Speaker 2: you know, I'll go in to search something on YouTube
- 17:57Speaker 2: because that's what it is. YouTube is a search in
- 17:59Speaker 2: nginin right, go in and search something and a video
- 18:03Speaker 2: pop up from four years ago, five years ago, six
- 18:05Speaker 2: years ago, and guess what, the content that I'm looking
- 18:08Speaker 2: for is still there and it's still very relevant today,
- 18:10Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So it's not a yes.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I think as you grow, as you learn, some things.
- 18:16Speaker 2: As you know, revenue comes and you can actually invest
- 18:20Speaker 2: more into what you want to do.
- 18:22Speaker 1: It's just important to stop start.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I've actually had a conversation with with a guy that's
- 18:27Speaker 2: starting the podcast, and you know that's this thing.
- 18:30Speaker 1: He's like, I got a camera all these things. I said, Hey,
- 18:32Speaker 1: you got a phone.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah, like, you got a phone that can connect to
- 18:36Speaker 2: your laptop and if you want to do it in
- 18:39Speaker 2: the software program, cool, but you got what you you
- 18:41Speaker 2: already got a mic, like what we talk about right now,
- 18:44Speaker 2: you want to prolong it because you ain't got this
- 18:46Speaker 2: camera that cost one thousand dollars.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Like use your phone. Just start where you're at,
- 18:51Speaker 1: Start with where you have.
- 18:53Speaker 2: And then what I'm learning is that our baby, the
- 18:58Speaker 2: forty plus people love Jessica the love they love Justica.
- 19:03Speaker 2: And that was a majority of who I had in
- 19:06Speaker 2: that class that I did the strategy session, and they
- 19:10Speaker 2: they need that type of intimate time because they it's
- 19:14Speaker 2: this technology is moving so fast. By the time they
- 19:17Speaker 2: learned one thing, they I mean they still they just
- 19:23Speaker 2: learned this one. Now we five steps ahead on iois
- 19:27Speaker 2: twenty six. You know what I'm saying, Like I ain't
- 19:30Speaker 2: even upgraded my phone from the eighteen you know, I
- 19:33Speaker 2: it's eighteen you're talking about.
- 19:34Speaker 1: IOI is twenty six, you know.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So there's a there's grace on our lives, apparently to
- 19:40Speaker 2: reach the older, older audience or more mature. I don't
- 19:42Speaker 2: like saying older, more mature audience, because baby there was
- 19:46Speaker 2: a I think she was probably in her late sixties,
- 19:48Speaker 2: early seventies. Maybe forty forty three thousand people subscribe to
- 19:54Speaker 2: her on on Facebook. She's trying to translate that to YouTube,
- 19:59Speaker 2: like being able to have those type of conversations and
- 20:01Speaker 2: letting people know, hey, it's possible.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't care how old you are. I don't care
- 20:05Speaker 1: what your budget is. I don't care, you know.
- 20:08Speaker 2: And when people when people, I've had several people like
- 20:12Speaker 2: overly anxious about why got have this, to have a
- 20:15Speaker 2: get this, blah blah blah blah blah, So desiraate, I
- 20:18Speaker 2: won't I really And this ended up turning kind of
- 20:20Speaker 2: turning into this episode. So I will get back to
- 20:23Speaker 2: the whole break thing. But can you explain to people
- 20:27Speaker 2: what they need, like the necessities.
- 20:32Speaker 1: That are needed to start a podcast?
- 20:34Speaker 2: So the necessity so a podcast is traditionally audio yes, right. Traditionally,
- 20:40Speaker 2: a podcast is audio where you're recording your voice and
- 20:44Speaker 2: you're putting on a platform where people go and listen.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So, because technology and the nature of how we consume
- 20:51Speaker 2: content has shifted to a lot of video now, even
- 20:54Speaker 2: though YouTube has been out since two thousand and five, six,
- 20:57Speaker 2: seven eight, right, but video content is becoming really popular now.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So video podcasting has now become a popular thing. So
- 21:06Speaker 2: when you're starting a we're gonna speak mainly to video podcasts, right,
- 21:11Speaker 2: The things you're gonna need is something to record video,
- 21:15Speaker 2: audio and lighting. Literally, that's those are like the three
- 21:19Speaker 2: main that's that's that's the basic too. Photography, videography in general.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's like making sure you have good clean audio. And honestly,
- 21:27Speaker 2: if you have lighting and good decent lighting and decent audio,
- 21:33Speaker 2: and you gotta you know, your video quality maybe be
- 21:35Speaker 2: like webcam, yeah quality, like people can can can listen
- 21:39Speaker 2: through that because they can still hear the content that
- 21:42Speaker 2: you're that you're putting out, right, Like I be, I
- 21:45Speaker 2: don't know if you've ever watched the video, and and
- 21:46Speaker 2: I feel like I don't know, like squinting make me
- 21:49Speaker 2: try to hear better, but I'll be squinting, like, dam
- 21:51Speaker 2: I don't even know, like if you just lose interest. Right, Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: So audio, it does audio, video and lighting. Right, so
- 21:58Speaker 2: we're talking about, uh, everybody has earbuds. Everybody has earbuds.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I don't say everybody, but earbuds are easily accessible. Yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 2: they're budgetable, they're budgetable. They have Bluetooth mics now that
- 22:12Speaker 2: are are pretty reasonable in price, and then there are
- 22:15Speaker 2: some like USB mics that plug directly into your into
- 22:20Speaker 2: your your computer or whatever that are pretty decently priced. Right. Light,
- 22:25Speaker 2: free light, natural light, Yeah, a window, a door, sliding door,
- 22:29Speaker 2: glass door, or you know, ring light. You know, there's
- 22:33Speaker 2: also pretty decently priced lighting options. Camera, y'all already know
- 22:38Speaker 2: about to say. Everybody got a phone, and.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Most of the phone nowadays are.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Honestly probably better than some of the point shoot cameras
- 22:48Speaker 2: that that we look at now, right, Yeah, but there
- 22:50Speaker 2: are some entry level options when it comes to video
- 22:53Speaker 2: that you can invest in that's not gonna cost you
- 22:56Speaker 2: a bank for you to get started. So let me
- 22:59Speaker 2: ask you this question as far as equipment. As far
- 23:02Speaker 2: as equipment, because you she is the tech person and
- 23:06Speaker 2: the just just did show. Okay, as far as equipment.
- 23:10Speaker 2: If somebody wanted to had a budget of like, uh,
- 23:17Speaker 2: let's say one hundred dollars, is that reasonable to start?
- 23:20Speaker 2: If I already have my phone, If you already have
- 23:22Speaker 2: your phone, yes, literally, like within that light, get your
- 23:26Speaker 2: light and something to record your audio.
- 23:29Speaker 1: When I say record your are there like a mic? Right?
- 23:31Speaker 1: So when you say light, are you like? Can you
- 23:34Speaker 1: say the brand of light?
- 23:35Speaker 2: So I have a Newer is a brand that I
- 23:39Speaker 2: frequent very often. Newer g m V is a brand
- 23:43Speaker 2: that I frequent often. There's also Ammoran, There's there's a
- 23:49Speaker 2: bunch of different companies that pretty much have the same
- 23:52Speaker 2: similar light light options.
- 23:54Speaker 1: It's just going to be a matter of budget.
- 23:56Speaker 2: So they even have like some budget friendly ones, Like
- 23:58Speaker 2: I've gotten lights for thirty dollars, forty dollars, fifty dollars.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Then I've also bought some lights that was two hundred
- 24:04Speaker 2: hundred dollars, you know what I'm saying. And really the
- 24:09Speaker 2: one that was lesser was decent. It was a decent
- 24:12Speaker 2: light to get started, you know what I'm saying. But
- 24:13Speaker 2: as I've built, as I've built my kit, and as
- 24:16Speaker 2: I've invested, I've invested in higher quality pieces. Yeah, so
- 24:22Speaker 2: Desire is about to start doing like content regarding like
- 24:24Speaker 2: teaching people how to like do their lighting or do
- 24:29Speaker 2: technical things or whatever. So when she launches that, you guys,
- 24:32Speaker 2: y'all make sure y'all y'all go.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Over there to her youthube page and like amp it up.
- 24:38Speaker 2: But no, I had her say that because I'm always asked,
- 24:42Speaker 2: you know, I want I want to have this and
- 24:45Speaker 2: it or whatever. Let me tell y'all about Jessica Smith
- 24:48Speaker 2: when she was starting. I knew that I needed a
- 24:52Speaker 2: mic I needed. I knew I needed like yeah, and
- 24:56Speaker 2: I knew I knew I wanted a good camera. I
- 25:01Speaker 2: didn't take in consideration even using my phone. I wish
- 25:04Speaker 2: I did because the first couple episodes would actually probably
- 25:08Speaker 2: been decent. I knew how to strip the audio and
- 25:12Speaker 2: put some decent audio on it and use the audio I
- 25:14Speaker 2: had from the mic from the mic, but because I'm
- 25:16Speaker 2: smart like that, like I know how to really make
- 25:21Speaker 2: it look good. But I didn't even consider because I
- 25:22Speaker 2: didn't think my phone was a tool outside of me
- 25:25Speaker 2: searching or talking on But there's so many things like
- 25:27Speaker 2: I'm even thinking about, like people you may not have
- 25:30Speaker 2: access to like a I'm gonna call it a pro
- 25:32Speaker 2: grade editing program like Premiere Pro or the Venture Resolve
- 25:37Speaker 2: or Final Cut Pro.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Right, but there's cap cut. There's cap cut.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Cap Cut has the ability for you to be able
- 25:43Speaker 2: to separate your video on your audio and overlay you know,
- 25:47Speaker 2: overlay say the audio from your your actual mic that
- 25:52Speaker 2: you did, right, Yeah, and they have a free version
- 25:54Speaker 2: that they do that they still allow you to.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Edit pretty well on they do. So I think that.
- 26:02Speaker 2: The biggest thing starting out is just record. You don't
- 26:07Speaker 2: release without recording. And the listen of Drew Viz, I
- 26:10Speaker 2: don't care if you're if you if you spend thousands
- 26:13Speaker 2: of dollars on your first on some equipment, those first.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Couple of episodes day, they're gonna be rough. They're gonna
- 26:18Speaker 1: be rough. They gonnas and.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I don't know, I still still feel like there's gonna
- 26:27Speaker 2: be some type of roughness to it because I can't
- 26:30Speaker 2: say that I even know people that have been in
- 26:32Speaker 2: the profession just like, oh okay, let me just do it,
- 26:35Speaker 2: or unless you've been like if you just coach d
- 26:39Speaker 2: she's just good at everything. She's just good at everything.
- 26:43Speaker 2: But unless you are that type of special person. You're
- 26:47Speaker 2: gonna it's gonna be some rough patches, you know what
- 26:49Speaker 2: I'm saying, And like, y'all please go watch my first episode.
- 26:53Speaker 1: It was trash. It was me trying to Hi.
- 26:57Speaker 2: This is chessca and I'm a little nervous, like I
- 27:01Speaker 2: did some super Girl.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Real bad with that.
- 27:04Speaker 2: With with the raggedy camera that I tried to I
- 27:08Speaker 2: thought I was getting a great deal of y'all. And
- 27:10Speaker 2: camera used to cut off on me in the middle
- 27:14Speaker 2: of me recording. And the first time it did it,
- 27:17Speaker 2: it was in the middle of me interviewing Bri she
- 27:22Speaker 2: Bree was my first guess.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So I set this thing up or whatever.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I'm I'm playing desl Ray and I'm playing myself at
- 27:30Speaker 2: the same time.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So it can be done.
- 27:32Speaker 2: So I don't want to hear no excuses what y'all
- 27:34Speaker 2: can't do, because y'all doing any boy, y'allself.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I had to be be desl Ray And at.
- 27:40Speaker 2: This point Felicia shout out to Felicia, you know, at
- 27:43Speaker 2: our admin or one of our admins now, and I
- 27:50Speaker 2: just I wish I would have known I could use
- 27:53Speaker 2: my phone. I just didn't know that. I didn't I
- 27:56Speaker 2: did not The research that I did was so how
- 28:00Speaker 2: I will say it was high level. It was people
- 28:02Speaker 2: that had the funds to get there. I wasn't in
- 28:05Speaker 2: a space where I could spend six hundred dollars on
- 28:08Speaker 2: one camera. I need to have a six hundred dollars budget.
- 28:10Speaker 2: And so when people say what do I need to use? What? Okay,
- 28:14Speaker 2: what is your budget? What are you willing to invest?
- 28:18Speaker 2: That's the first question. You gotta start interviewing yourself. What
- 28:21Speaker 2: am I willing to invest right now? What do I
- 28:25Speaker 2: have that could help me while I grow into my
- 28:30Speaker 2: the things that I want?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Right?
- 28:32Speaker 2: You got to give yourself permission as a podcaster to
- 28:35Speaker 2: grow into the things that you want.
- 28:37Speaker 1: This is why I love Debby Shan so much.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Okay, people will always hear me sing his praises for
- 28:42Speaker 2: the simple.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Fact that now David has a leg up.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Just because he has some knowledge on cameras and all
- 28:50Speaker 2: this stuff like that, just being as creative, like the
- 28:53Speaker 2: tools that you have already in you. Like I was
- 28:55Speaker 2: into camba before, I was doing canba classes before, so
- 28:59Speaker 2: when it came to a thumbnail, I didn't feel like
- 29:02Speaker 2: doing it at first. So you won't see them on
- 29:03Speaker 2: the first thing. But when I started really doing thumbnails,
- 29:06Speaker 2: I was figuring out what I what I wanted to
- 29:08Speaker 2: look to do. But I ain't have to worry about
- 29:10Speaker 2: who's gonna do my thumbnails. I wouldn't worry about that.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I use what I have.
- 29:14Speaker 2: So David Shan's is a perfect example, because that man
- 29:17Speaker 2: did not have all the glitz and glamour.
- 29:20Speaker 1: He had a white wall that looked like this.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I don't know what it looked like because I don't
- 29:25Speaker 2: I can't see what I look like from on y'all's perspective,
- 29:28Speaker 2: But this is a white wall on the back of me.
- 29:31Speaker 1: And he had rolling chairs. He had it was desk
- 29:37Speaker 1: computer chairs. And he would have to go run press record,
- 29:44Speaker 1: come back, Hey, yo, it's David Shans whatever how you
- 29:47Speaker 1: have he started, and then he had his conversation. He
- 29:51Speaker 1: would have to make sure that the camera was still
- 29:53Speaker 1: recording because it was just him and the guests. This
- 29:56Speaker 1: is the same man that people pay to help them
- 30:01Speaker 1: with everything. Keep in mind, like he actually when he
- 30:04Speaker 1: started really doing content, though, he was in his dining room,
- 30:08Speaker 1: in his dining room at the table, same thing, with
- 30:11Speaker 1: a with a little wall, with a little wall. He
- 30:13Speaker 1: used what he had.
- 30:15Speaker 2: He just I don't even think Dave has had the
- 30:18Speaker 2: creator Creators Club. What is that place called creator? No,
- 30:23Speaker 2: baby Club creators Babe. Now I'm having a brain fire.
- 30:28Speaker 2: But his space in Atlanta, We're gonna have to just
- 30:31Speaker 2: just tag it. He has a space in Atlanta where
- 30:34Speaker 2: other creators can record their content as well. Right, it's
- 30:38Speaker 2: an event space too, But he uses that space. He
- 30:41Speaker 2: invested in that space. He built that from the ground up.
- 30:44Speaker 2: But that was he was about four hundred episodes.
- 30:50Speaker 1: When he built it.
- 30:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, So stop looking at what
- 30:54Speaker 2: people have. Now.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We got to stop looking at people.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And this just goes for every not just for podcasting,
- 31:01Speaker 2: in every stage of life. You can't compare my hundred
- 31:05Speaker 2: episodes to your first I can never. I want to
- 31:09Speaker 2: get into and understand the technology part or whatever. Right
- 31:13Speaker 2: does a ray And I've talked about there and I've
- 31:15Speaker 2: even considered like doing like a course or something like
- 31:18Speaker 2: that so I can get the technology so when she
- 31:20Speaker 2: be talking, I won't miss those whatever she takes because
- 31:24Speaker 2: baby talking to does a ray. Sometimes I'll be like, okay,
- 31:28Speaker 2: let me chat GPT because we were not understand each other.
- 31:32Speaker 2: But I think that I think there, what was the
- 31:38Speaker 2: point I was making. I almost forget what was us?
- 31:41Speaker 2: What was us saying?
- 31:43Speaker 1: I was talking about David Shan's talk about Davis.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Oh, we can't how we can't compare like somebody's whether
- 31:49Speaker 2: they are now.
- 31:50Speaker 1: To where you are, thank you. So I can't compare.
- 31:53Speaker 2: When I started really learning these terms and how to
- 31:56Speaker 2: use the camera or whatever, like des a rate woman evolved,
- 31:59Speaker 2: I was.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I begged her to let me help her.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I literally begged her, and she finally did, okay, because
- 32:05Speaker 2: she couldn't take pictures and record at the same time.
- 32:09Speaker 2: And so I was taking pictures like okay, just press
- 32:12Speaker 2: this and I'm just doing I'm just pressing. She adjusted whatever,
- 32:15Speaker 2: and I'm just pressing. I can follow directions, and she said, oh,
- 32:18Speaker 2: you did pretty good because I got a good eye.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I think I got a good eye. I can see
- 32:23Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, I'm gonna use what I
- 32:25Speaker 2: have to assist. I don't know about everything these dolls
- 32:28Speaker 2: and turning the camera this that's not my portion yet.
- 32:32Speaker 2: But I can't compare my my level of excellence in
- 32:37Speaker 2: photography or videography to what she brings because she's been
- 32:41Speaker 2: doing this for a hundred years.
- 32:43Speaker 1: She's old.
- 32:47Speaker 2: She is more mature than me in this space, and
- 32:51Speaker 2: so some of us are looking. Unless you're gonna and
- 32:53Speaker 2: you're gonna either pay invest money or time time and
- 33:00Speaker 2: you either way, you're gonna invest some level of time.
- 33:02Speaker 2: But if the increase comes when you don't have that
- 33:04Speaker 2: much money, unless you gonna pay, like we can't be
- 33:08Speaker 2: cheap around like paying people for their for their uh
- 33:12Speaker 2: for their expertise. If we're gonna hire a Desi rae
- 33:15Speaker 2: to come record multiple episodes in a session, let's do that.
- 33:21Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, like, and then you won't
- 33:23Speaker 2: have to worry about how it looks because the professional
- 33:26Speaker 2: is there. But if you're not the professional, and you
- 33:28Speaker 2: go ahead and tell your audience, Hey, this is what
- 33:31Speaker 2: I'm doing, this is how I'm doing it, you know,
- 33:35Speaker 2: and then watch this. The fact that I'm this is
- 33:37Speaker 2: so good. I want you to I don't want you
- 33:39Speaker 2: to miss this. The Lord just dropped this on me.
- 33:41Speaker 2: And I think the fact that I did not have
- 33:45Speaker 2: everything I need made room for desiree.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Did you hear what I just said?
- 33:53Speaker 2: The fact I didn't have everything that I need on
- 33:57Speaker 2: the level that I wanted to wanted it.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It made room for Desiree, but I still started. And
- 34:05Speaker 1: the reason why desil Rae could find me because I
- 34:08Speaker 1: was visible. You cannot get the help that you want,
- 34:14Speaker 1: or the help that God wants to sin without your
- 34:17Speaker 1: visibil visibility. You have to be seen in the place,
- 34:20Speaker 1: you know how to.
- 34:21Speaker 2: They tell us that the women that's that single desiray,
- 34:24Speaker 2: we ain't gonna find them at the house, we ain't
- 34:26Speaker 2: gonna find We ain't gonna find him at house. So
- 34:28Speaker 2: you need to go outside. You need to at least
- 34:29Speaker 2: go get you some ice creams. You know what I'm saying.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Unless you're trying to date your delivery man, you gotta
- 34:36Speaker 2: get out the house, all right, I'm telling you, unless
- 34:42Speaker 2: you want to be stuck at not being a podcaster,
- 34:45Speaker 2: start recording and releasing.
- 34:48Speaker 1: It's just as simple as that. And so I'm not
- 34:50Speaker 1: I'm not fussing I did.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I did.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I did because I'm passionate about it.
- 34:56Speaker 2: It's in love because you allowing something that doesn't matter
- 34:59Speaker 2: to stop from doing what you're supposed to be doing.
- 35:01Speaker 2: You're allowing something that you think that that supersedes your voice,
- 35:08Speaker 2: that supersedes the gift that guy has given you the
- 35:11Speaker 2: supersed supersedes.
- 35:12Speaker 1: The message that's in your belly.
- 35:15Speaker 2: You're allowing the quality of a camera and what type
- 35:20Speaker 2: of camera. Girl, y'all do not see the equipment that
- 35:24Speaker 2: we're using. You just see the results of the equipment.
- 35:27Speaker 2: So if I can do the same thing with some
- 35:29Speaker 2: other equipment that is not as expensive, like my phone.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I've seen people make documentaries and movies with iPhones.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I mean they think they may they may have done
- 35:39Speaker 1: that with an Android too. I don't know. I'm just
- 35:40Speaker 1: saying I just knew it was iPhones.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we just use that phone, but the Android has updated.
- 35:45Speaker 2: We got one church member that has an Android. I'm
- 35:47Speaker 2: gonna call her name out, but she knows who she
- 35:49Speaker 2: is and it works and it works. So I think that,
- 35:54Speaker 2: like Desiree said, you said, what we need like sound video,
- 36:00Speaker 2: light sound video.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It needs.
- 36:04Speaker 2: If you don't put emphasis on something, get your mic first.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I paid. I think I had a j Lab mic.
- 36:11Speaker 1: If y'all go look at it.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I don't know if y'all can see it in the shot,
- 36:13Speaker 2: but if y'all go look at it, I had a
- 36:15Speaker 2: j Lab mic and it was fifty dollars from Best Buy.
- 36:19Speaker 2: That's your first investment. That was my first investment. My
- 36:22Speaker 2: second investment. I paid one hundred dollars for a cannon
- 36:24Speaker 2: camera that cut off on me.
- 36:30Speaker 1: And I'm just used.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I'm just using it as a prop when I when
- 36:33Speaker 2: I get my thes a, Ray's gonna do my Creators
- 36:37Speaker 2: of Space at home. But I did that and that
- 36:41Speaker 2: got that off Facebook marketplace. You know what I'm saying.
- 36:45Speaker 2: So give yourself a grace as you grow. Grace to grow,
- 36:48Speaker 2: Grace to grow. But yep, y'all ending with the thought
- 36:54Speaker 2: that we are going to be taking a break. We
- 36:59Speaker 2: are gonna we're going to take a break. It's necessary
- 37:02Speaker 2: to take a break. And the Lord just dropped this
- 37:05Speaker 2: in my in my spirit, y'all know. If you don't know,
- 37:11Speaker 2: please go read it. It's a story about Noah. Noah's
- 37:14Speaker 2: the man that created the first the first ship, the
- 37:18Speaker 2: first cruise ship, if if you want to call it
- 37:20Speaker 2: like that. But Noah got the assignment from the Lord
- 37:26Speaker 2: to construct a cruise not a cruise ship, but a
- 37:29Speaker 2: arc and because he was going to destroy the land,
- 37:37Speaker 2: right and I think it was, it was. It was
- 37:42Speaker 2: a wild months, if I'm not mistaken. Before they got
- 37:47Speaker 2: off the like the water like it's everything settled to
- 37:50Speaker 2: where they can get back on land.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Right. And one of the things that Noah did.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Was he celebrated himself or celebrated. He celebrated with some libation.
- 38:10Speaker 2: He celebrated, and he rested after the assignment was complete.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:19Speaker 2: And the Lord is showing me telling me even right
- 38:21Speaker 2: now that not only do we need to rest, but
- 38:24Speaker 2: we need to celebrate. And that's something that we're gonna do.
- 38:27Speaker 2: We're going to not only rest, but celebrate the fact
- 38:32Speaker 2: that we've made it thus far, to celebrate the winds,
- 38:36Speaker 2: celebrate the accomplishments.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Like who gets the who gets to.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Uh have Tabitha Brown someone of her caliber on the
- 38:50Speaker 2: podcast and on a hundredth episode? You know, who gets
- 38:55Speaker 2: to interview somebody like Omar elta Corey. Who who gets
- 39:00Speaker 2: to dream to ask about certain people? Who has list speaks,
- 39:04Speaker 2: you know, someone that is so balanced and well endowed
- 39:07Speaker 2: in her in her feel like who gets to interview
- 39:11Speaker 2: doctor Defundi?
- 39:12Speaker 1: Like who gets to do that?
- 39:13Speaker 2: Who gets to be in rooms and be on stages
- 39:16Speaker 2: and get approved for media be a media outlet in
- 39:20Speaker 2: a room full of twenty three thousand people? Like who
- 39:23Speaker 2: gets to do that that deserves celebration. That deserves celebration,
- 39:29Speaker 2: and it also deserves rejuvenation. And so while we're on
- 39:35Speaker 2: this break, we're not taking a we're technically, if you're
- 39:38Speaker 2: a part of the safe space, we're not taking a
- 39:40Speaker 2: break from you because we're still meeting the second and
- 39:44Speaker 2: fourth Mondays be a zoom.
- 39:47Speaker 1: We're on Patreon.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I'm doing extra content over there, only nineteen dollars a month, y'all, Like,
- 39:53Speaker 2: and that's supporting all the administrative needs right now. Like
- 39:56Speaker 2: this is for that space of y'all. Y'all ask for it,
- 39:59Speaker 2: and so you I would love for you to come
- 40:01Speaker 2: over there and be a part of it. But yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 2: we're not taking a break from them, you know what
- 40:06Speaker 2: I'm saying. We're actually teaching them and leaning into freedom
- 40:09Speaker 2: right now. We're leaning into having learning about freedom so
- 40:13Speaker 2: we can be free for the to manage the capacity
- 40:15Speaker 2: that God has for us in twenty twenty six, like
- 40:18Speaker 2: we're anything about Jessica S. Smith is Ford moving It's
- 40:24Speaker 2: Ford movement.
- 40:25Speaker 1: It's good.
- 40:25Speaker 2: And so if you're gonna be a part of this
- 40:27Speaker 2: process with us, if you're gonna lean and trust on us,
- 40:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna we're gonna give you the real We're not.
- 40:32Speaker 2: We're not trying to sugarcoat anything any for anybody. So
- 40:35Speaker 2: I hope, if anything, you've learned anything out of this,
- 40:38Speaker 2: out of this space, y'all, I pray that you guys
- 40:42Speaker 2: have learned how to trust what you have right now.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Trust you the version of you right now who hallelujah,
- 40:51Speaker 2: Trust the version of you today, because you can never
- 40:55Speaker 2: If you don't trust the version of you today, tomorrow's
- 40:59Speaker 2: version you won't matter. Tomorrow's version of you won't be
- 41:02Speaker 2: able to be free. Hallelujah. Tomorrow's version of you is
- 41:07Speaker 2: waiting on today's version to start. Twenty one hundred plus
- 41:14Speaker 2: episodes hundred well, I don't know at this point, this
- 41:17Speaker 2: episode probably the one thirties at this point, something like that.
- 41:21Speaker 2: And so you gotta trust yourself for the day, trust
- 41:24Speaker 2: what you have, and execute, execute what you have desiate
- 41:27Speaker 2: you got something for the people. Yeah, I would just say,
- 41:30Speaker 2: just piggybacking off what you said. It is just I
- 41:32Speaker 2: think we don't trust. We don't trust who's in us,
- 41:37Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, because if we did, we
- 41:38Speaker 2: wouldn't let little things. And I say us, I'm talking
- 41:42Speaker 2: to myself too, right, we wouldn't let the small things
- 41:45Speaker 2: like stop us from moving forward. You know what I'm saying,
- 41:48Speaker 2: Because if he says that we have, he knows the
- 41:52Speaker 2: plans that he has for us, their plans to prosper us,
- 41:55Speaker 2: they're good, you know what I'm saying, which means that
- 41:57Speaker 2: everything we need is already in us and it's already
- 42:00Speaker 2: laid out for us.
- 42:01Speaker 1: We just have to keep moving. But we can't get
- 42:03Speaker 1: to it if we ain't starting nothing.
- 42:04Speaker 2: If we have come on now, we can't get to
- 42:07Speaker 2: it if we ain't starting nothing. Y'all. I really appreciate
- 42:10Speaker 2: you guys. We appreciate you guys. Let us know what
- 42:13Speaker 2: you learned. Let's let us know what resonated with you
- 42:18Speaker 2: in the comments. We want to talk if y'all. I
- 42:20Speaker 2: don't know about y'all, but y'all being on anybody else platform,
- 42:24Speaker 2: but this platform, we try to respond to everybody, to everybody.
- 42:28Speaker 2: And so when y'all down a come in and it
- 42:31Speaker 2: be me responding. I don't have That's not an adman
- 42:33Speaker 2: thing does A ray don't even respond, that's me. That's
- 42:36Speaker 2: me responding. And so we're not to the space where
- 42:39Speaker 2: I'm like my team is going to respond to you.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Like I don't, I don't. We don't have that. It's
- 42:44Speaker 1: it's real over here.
- 42:45Speaker 2: So just tell us what resonated with you, guys, What
- 42:49Speaker 2: do you need from us? Maybe we're gonna start doing
- 42:52Speaker 2: more content or say I'm gonna also start doing more
- 42:56Speaker 2: content regarding like teaching you about podcasts and the behind
- 42:59Speaker 2: the scenes type stuff. Uh, and offering you, guys an
- 43:03Speaker 2: opportunity to work with work with not just me, but
- 43:05Speaker 2: does ray Like we're a team and so just tell
- 43:09Speaker 2: us what you need, tell us your desire and then
- 43:11Speaker 2: join join the safe space. Right we're doing Uh, We're
- 43:16Speaker 2: we're working on surrendering through and through accountability, finding freedom
- 43:22Speaker 2: and working on exposure. And part of that exposure is
- 43:25Speaker 2: podcast and learning how to be a content creator where
- 43:28Speaker 2: our influence lives and grows and resides. And so were
- 43:32Speaker 2: not stand you with the information you guys, So we
- 43:35Speaker 2: want to just invite you with open arms. But we
- 43:38Speaker 2: love you because I feel I feel a Baptist Baptist
- 43:42Speaker 2: annoyting on me right now because I got a little
- 43:44Speaker 2: long winded at the end, got a little Baptist on annoyingting.
- 43:47Speaker 2: But we love you, We honor you. Thank you so
- 43:51Speaker 2: much for tuning in until next time. Until next week,
- 43:54Speaker 2: remember life could be much more simple if you just
- 43:58Speaker 2: ask
