  spacex's Starship super heavy rocket.

  Now we all know that SpaceX will be launching starlink satellites

  on a Starship in the future. We don't know exactly when
• 0:23
  they're going to be launching Starship and starlink together,
• 0:27
  but hopefully it'll be within the First or second orbital
• 0:32
  flight test of Starship. Now, we have seen the starlink
• 0:37
  version of a Starship. We've seen the little Pez
• 0:41
  dispenser in the front. I think it's the front.
• 0:44
  I guess we call it the front of a Starship shoots out, little
• 0:48
  Pez star links. We know that's going to be
• 0:51
  really cool. We know the orbital flight test
• 0:55
  may happen sometime this year. Elon is stated that there's To
• 1:00
  be starlink or sorry, a Starship ready by July and then he said,
• 1:06
  there's going to be another one in August and then probably
• 1:10
  another one after that in September 1 and October probably
• 1:13
  one per month. If Ilan has his way, we all
• 1:15
  know. Ilan time though, we all know
• 1:17
  this. So Ilan, time is whenever they
• 1:20
  get it done. Kind of elon's best.

  Projections are the Starship will be done in July but more
• 1:28
  than likely on Ilan. Time Starship will be ready.

  Sometime in August of 2022. They have a ton of stuff to do
• 1:38
  for Starship still. They still have to get the
• 1:40
  orbital launch Mount ready to go.

  They have to get the tower prepped.

  They just did some tests to the tower today.

  So that was pretty cool. They have to get the lift arms,
• 1:51
  ready for either both booster and Starship or just booster,
• 1:55
  they have to do some more tests there, make sure everything
• 1:57
  still works properly because over time You know, that the
• 2:01
  towers Hughes and it's always being worked on.

  So they have to make sure those processes work, those systems
• 2:06
  work, they have to test Starships booster so they have
• 2:11
  to do a cryogenic test. They have to do, static fire
• 2:14
  test. They have to make sure that all
• 2:16
  the plumbing works from the actual launch mount to the
• 2:23
  Starship and to the booster to to both of them as they're
• 2:26
  stacked. So they have to do a stack test
• 2:28
  as well. There's so much Is this Starship
• 2:30
  has to go through in order to launch.
• 2:33
  Now when they do the stack test possibly stack it on top of each
• 2:36
  other. They may do a static fire burn
• 2:39
  for a really quick one with with the booster.
• 2:44
  And then of course, cryogenic and pressure test for both of
• 2:47
  those as they move forward. So I've been waiting for
• 2:51
  Starship to launch for a long time.

  I moved to Starbase area last September so I was there for
• 2:58
  about nine months on the side of the road.

  We're all these images are coming from these ones over

  here. That's from my footage from the

  side of the road at Starship at Starbase and there's a really
• 3:07
  important thing that we have to think about here.

  The hls program with Starship and NASA, that's a very
• 3:14
  important thing. We have to think about but
• 3:16
  something even more important than the hls program is the
• 3:20
  Department of Defense with SpaceX.

  The SpaceX has been launching private their own private
• 3:27
  starlings for a while. They've been launching.
• 3:30
  Other private companies. Payloads cargo satellites etc
• 3:34
  for a long time, but the Department of Defense has been
• 3:37
  contracting SpaceX to launch their satellites and other
• 3:40
  things into orbit for years, right?
• 3:43
  So they have a working relationship with SpaceX and the
• 3:47
  Department of Defense really wants to tap into Starship in
• 3:51
  the future. So Starship has a huge amount of
• 3:57
  space in it that the department defense.

  Says is about the size of a C-17 cargo plane and they can get
• 4:04
  that to anywhere on the planet Earth in about 60 minutes right
• 4:09
  now, sometimes it takes a whole day to get from one point to
• 4:13
  another for the Department of Defense that US Department of
• 4:16
  Defense. So R Is it feasible to use a
• 4:20
  Starship to launch cargo across the world to point B from point
• 4:26
  A to point B in 60 minutes. Ilan said Anywhere in the world,
• 4:31
  in 60 minutes, that's a huge, huge leap forward for any sort
• 4:36
  of cargo that can go anywhere in the future.

  Now, think about this too. This is like a little Sidetrack.

  I want to talk to you guys about just for a second FedEx.

  And UPS, is it worth the money to launch something?

  On a Starship? Maybe Starship becomes the next
• 4:56
  Fed Ex or the next UPS, who knows when the next USPS their

  slow, though. So they wouldn't, they wouldn't

  let the USPS doesn't matter. So, next FedEx, next UPS, maybe
• 5:08
  they can transport things, our things that we buy on Amazon
• 5:12
  within 60 Minutes. I mean, from one, of course, not

  to our homes because her It's a wouldn't exist if they landed
• 5:19
  near them but maybe they would land nearby at a station and
• 5:23
  then they would sort all the stuff out.

  I don't know. I'm just, I'm just spin this out

  something, which would be kind of fun.

  working together to Cargo transport 60 Minutes across the

  world. That makes sense, 60 Minutes

  across the world. The logistics of this are

  insane, so they have to send a rocket, a gigantic 400-foot tall

  rocket into space as a travel, all the way across the Earth and

  then it has to land someplace else in a battlefield.

  Could be could be an MBA, See somewhere near a city that they

  need to do work at some please possibly in the middle of
• 6:21
  nowhere where they need to set up a base.

  And they have the things equivalent to a cargo plane, a
• 6:26
  C-17, cargo plane in the Starship that the show is

  sent across the world and this was retracted, the B3 and B4

  were retracted from this Department of Defense image.

  So it shows those probably what they're going to be transporting

  from the Starship to the ground across the role.

  As you can see, there's a Starship launching in the

  background to so possibly I mean they could have a fleet of these

  things. They could send 100.

  C-17s across the world within an hour.

  You know, how dangerous could that be for any other area in

  the world? That's against the United States
• 11:19
  or how much humanitarian Aid? Could we send places really
• 11:23
  quickly? See if there's a disaster, you

  know, like I say before food water, everything like that

  Personnel to help people when there's earthquakes or mudslides

  or something like that or floods.

  To save people's lives. It could possibly be part of
• 11:38
  that but the dod is using this case as a point-to-point space
• 11:45
  Transportation. So as you see it right here,

  it's possible. They're using it for
• 11:51
  humanitarian aid but also point-to-point space
• 11:57
  transportation for people for cargo.

  I mean some of these things like that good fit.

  On the Starship, something big like that.

  Like a school bus can fit in a Starship.

  I just think, let's just say that.

  What else can Fitness? Starship tons and tons of Aid.

  So, c-17s that big collection of shelters Vehicles, construction

  equipment, and other gear that can be pre-positioned around the
• 12:24
  globe and move to any place that US Air Force needs to stand up
• 12:28
  air operations. So this, I'm reading this from

  The Intercept who wrote about this the other day and they had
• 12:35
  Few other things, quick reaction forces, they are doing a study
• 12:41
  right now with SpaceX and Starship to see if this is
• 12:43
  actually feasible. So, let me know what you think

  You know, let's build out the Starships but we get to use

  this thing and is specs SpaceX. Okay, with that, are they okay

  with transporting things? Like weapons and Humanity?

  Of course. Humanitarian Aid.

  They're fine with that. They've sent Starling satellites
• 13:27
  to Ukraine. That's cool.

  But also You know, what about does SpaceX get into the

  military game? Even more than it already is?

  I don't know. I I mean it's a it's a kind of

  tricky subject to those point. So what are they going to do?

  Are they going to work with the Department of Defense?

  Or are they going to do it alone with their private investors in?

  Make this into sort of like a you know like SpaceX is sort of

  like the Star Trek of the future.

  You know, we're sending thousands of people to Mars to
• 13:57
  colonize Mars and to have a peaceful off.

  And for the rest of the solar system, or are they going to go

  the other route? Like the other large
• 14:07
  manufacturers of rocketry? Are they going to use the
