  - Today's prayer focus is talking about how

  - a fresh start.

  - Scripture text come from Lamentations

  - three twenty two through 23 and says,

  - as compassion's

  - never fail,

  - they are you every morning,

  - great is your faithfulness.

  - Well, you know, the challenge that we're facing

  - is that starting over can feel intimidating.

  - Maybe the relationship ended or
• 0:59
  - a failed plan
• 1:01
  - or life just unexpectedly
• 1:03
  - changed,
• 1:06
  - or you're simply realizing that you moved a
• 1:09
  - different direction
• 1:11
  - and not sure which way to go in
• 1:13
  - that direction.

  - You know, starting again can make us feel
• 1:17
  - like everything
• 1:18
  - before it was wasted.

  - But
• 1:23
  - we often view starting over as going back
• 1:26
  - to zero,
• 1:27
  - which
• 1:28
  - actually isn't
• 1:31
  - altogether true.

  - But you're not beginning with nothing.

  - You're beginning with experience,
• 1:40
  - lessons,
• 1:41
  - wisdom,
• 1:43
  - growth,
• 1:44
  - and most importantly,
• 1:46
  - you're beginning with God.

  - Prayer changes

  - starting over from
• 1:55
  - the mindset of I have to rebuild everything

  - God, show me how to build from here.

  - You don't need the entire plan today.

  - You need the next faithful step.

  - That being said,

  - let's leave the tomorrows on the throne.

  - Dear Lord, give us courage to begin again.

  - Keep us from viewing this new beginning as

  - failure.

  - Use what we've learned,

  - guide our next steps,

  - and help us trust that you can build

  - something meaningful from where we are today.
