- 1:49Speaker 1: a lot to us. So thank you so much for
- 1:51Speaker 1: being a part of our show. We really, really appreciate it. Yes.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Thank you. So Rachel, You seem frazzled. Are you doing okay?
- 2:00Speaker 2: It's Thursday. It's almost the weekend. This should be good.
- 2:02Speaker 2: But you've got a lot going on this week.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I've had a crazy week. First of all, we had
- 2:09Speaker 1: two great guests that we had on this week. But
- 2:11Speaker 1: then I'm going to start with this because it's just
- 2:14Speaker 1: so crazy. As I was driving here, I had to
- 2:16Speaker 1: deal with a psychotext from Kate Lohan. Because I posted
- 2:22Speaker 1: this morning a picture of my interview that I did
- 2:25Speaker 1: last night, which doesn't come out for a couple of
- 2:28Speaker 1: weeks or whatever. But I had Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and Kate Lohan's estranged husband on the show. And there
- 2:36Speaker 1: was a photo. And then we all went out to dinner.
- 2:38Speaker 1: We went out to dinner with Tariq and his wife.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Tariq is a man that people might remember. I'm not
- 2:43Speaker 1: saying his last name because I can't pronounce it properly.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Salaway or something. And I love Tariq. He's so great.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But he became famous years ago because he crashed, apparently
- 2:52Speaker 1: crashed the White House with his then wife, Michaela, who's
- 2:56Speaker 1: now remarried to the, one of the singers of Journey.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And so they made news because people were like, who
- 3:03Speaker 1: are these two that crashed the White House? And so
- 3:06Speaker 1: we became friends in like 2013. And, you know, now we,
- 3:11Speaker 1: reconnected and had dinner last night with his new wife.
- 3:14Speaker 1: She's not that new. She's been around for six years
- 3:16Speaker 1: and she's beautiful and fun. And then we met up with,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you know, some people that were, you know, in business
- 3:22Speaker 1: with Michael, which is why he's in town. And so
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's it. So I just posted the fact that I
- 3:26Speaker 1: had him on the show and that we were at
- 3:28Speaker 1: dinner and I get a text about 20 minutes ago
- 3:32Speaker 1: as I'm getting in my car to drive here. You
- 3:34Speaker 1: guys won't believe this. So this is from Kate Lohan,
- 3:36Speaker 1: who by the way, used to be a friend of
- 3:38Speaker 1: mine who, when she was having hard times with Michael,
- 3:42Speaker 1: she would come and stay at my apartment in New York.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So this morning at 10 42 AM, you're such a
- 3:47Speaker 1: sneaky bitch, Rachel, meeting up with my husband. It's typical Rachel.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And I'm just like, what? Yeah. By the way, she
- 3:56Speaker 1: just got out of prison yesterday for like her third
- 3:59Speaker 1: DUI and just her complete psycho behavior. And she went
- 4:03Speaker 1: in for, I don't know, to go to the court
- 4:07Speaker 1: seven days ago and was drunk. So they put her
- 4:09Speaker 1: in jail. She wasn't even supposed to go to jail
- 4:12Speaker 1: that day, but she's going to go away for a
- 4:14Speaker 1: long time. This kind of toxic behavior is what we
- 4:16Speaker 1: were talking about on Michael's show yesterday. He stays with
- 4:20Speaker 1: her because she's the mother of his kids, but she's
- 4:23Speaker 1: just so toxic. I am saying it now because she
- 4:28Speaker 1: threatens about stuff like this. And then she's the type
- 4:30Speaker 1: of person and Michael talks about in the show, but
- 4:33Speaker 1: she will stage things and like call TMZ or call different, um,
- 4:37Speaker 1: media companies and then tell them all this stuff, chirp
- 4:40Speaker 1: in their ear and then stages. So she'll say like, um,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know, Michael's driving drunk and then she'll, you know, uh,
- 4:47Speaker 1: she'll stage it. Do you know what I mean? Like
- 4:49Speaker 1: if he was drinking, he's not drinking right now, but
- 4:51Speaker 1: she would then call the cops when he got in
- 4:53Speaker 1: the car. So, I mean, just really psycho behavior. And
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm quite frankly over it. So I'm not scared of her.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't give a shit. And I'm not going to
- 5:00Speaker 1: like have somebody text me a message like this when
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'm like going through my life. And I'm just interviewing
- 5:05Speaker 1: her estranged husband who happens to be a friend of
- 5:07Speaker 1: mine for 14 years. So I don't want her husband.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I don't need her husband. I'm friends with him. I'm
- 5:13Speaker 1: allowed to be friends with him. And he made the
- 5:14Speaker 1: choice to come on the show. So I'm not Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I mean, first off, number one, jealousy. I mean, right. Just,
- 5:22Speaker 2: I mean, I, And the picture that you took and
- 5:25Speaker 2: you posted on Instagram was awesome. And you guys were
- 5:29Speaker 2: in a group. It's not like you were cozied up
- 5:31Speaker 2: together or anything like that. So it's ridiculous really. And
- 5:37Speaker 2: I mean the staging, the paparazzi stuff, a lot of
- 5:40Speaker 2: people do that, but that's kind of like to the extreme.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, to set people up for a bad, for
- 5:46Speaker 1: a lie, that's not cool. And that's why she's, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: been in and out of prisons for the, you know,
- 5:52Speaker 1: jail for the last eight years. And that's why Michael
- 5:55Speaker 1: has full custody of the kids. And, but I'm just
- 5:57Speaker 1: so sick and tired of people trying to, you know,
- 5:59Speaker 1: blame me for their bad relationships. And to add in
- 6:03Speaker 1: the typical Rachel, I mean, that really threw me over
- 6:06Speaker 1: the edge because doing her husband a favor, by the way,
- 6:09Speaker 1: you know, and.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Their kids and their kids. Yes. Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Do you find that you get stuff like this a lot? Because,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you know, past headlines, past relationships. It's not like you
- 6:24Speaker 2: have sought out these relationships or anything like that. But
- 6:28Speaker 2: do you find that you have women who get angry
- 6:31Speaker 2: or jealous.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Or just label you? Yeah. And they're so obnoxious and
- 6:34Speaker 1: label me, of course. By the way, yes, I was
- 6:39Speaker 1: involved with a married man 14 years ago. By the way,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I don't date married men.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So, you know, and I'm not, by the way, I've
- 6:47Speaker 1: never cheated on anyone that I've been with ever. I'm
- 6:51Speaker 1: completely monogamous and I believe in relationships. So I'm not
- 6:55Speaker 1: that vixen like that. I like to be in a relationship.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm not in one now, but I'm looking for, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: looking to be in one. And I just find it
- 7:03Speaker 1: to be like disgusting when jealous women or women that
- 7:06Speaker 1: have issues put their stuff on me because it's just
- 7:09Speaker 1: not okay anymore with me. I'm like so pissed about it. Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Which is why you started- I didn't even move on,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but like that just kind of text in the morning
- 7:16Speaker 1: on a Friday is just like, fuck off, you know?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Like I don't know who she thinks she is to
- 7:21Speaker 1: be able to talk to me like that.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You're so tough though. And this is what people love
- 7:25Speaker 2: about you. You don't take shit. I love that. Kind
- 7:28Speaker 2: of why you started the podcast, take back your narrative.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like that's not who I am. Stop labeling me that way.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And I love that. Okay. Stuff like that like makes
- 7:37Speaker 2: me shake inside. I get like, so we, but you're
- 7:40Speaker 2: just like, fuck you. I'm moving on.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I love that.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But it, no, but it gets to you. I know.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Constantly come at you, but like I've worked for so
- 7:48Speaker 1: long to prove myself when quite frankly, I really didn't
- 7:52Speaker 1: need to do that to anyone else, but that of
- 7:55Speaker 1: who I am and the type of person I am
- 7:56Speaker 1: and what I do and how good of a mom
- 8:00Speaker 1: I am. And like my morals are not, you know,
- 8:02Speaker 1: just cause I'm talking to a guy doesn't mean I'm
- 8:05Speaker 1: even remotely thinking about fucking them.
- 8:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Yes, I do know.
- 8:09Speaker 1: It's so, I'm like the man and the woman in
- 8:12Speaker 1: my life. Like I don't, you know, cause I'm so
- 8:14Speaker 1: tough and resourceful. I get everything done. Like Unless somebody
- 8:17Speaker 1: really adds something to my life, I have no interest.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I like, you know, I'm a little bit of a shredder.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I just, I have no patience. And the second they
- 8:24Speaker 1: get jealous or insecure or any sort of feminine energy,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm just like, bye, because I don't have time for it.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And I'm not soothing and calm and sweet, you know?
- 8:32Speaker 1: So like, anyway, it's harder for me to.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So you had Michael Lohan on. He's coming up. Not
- 8:38Speaker 2: released yet. We've had some other great guests on. We
- 8:41Speaker 2: had two wonderful guests on this week. Let's talk about
- 8:44Speaker 2: that a little bit. We had Nicole Mitchell on the
- 8:47Speaker 2: show and Atuza Rubenstein.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Totally different type of guests, by the way, but
- 8:54Speaker 1: so interesting. And we were out at dinner last night.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was even, they were asking me the type of
- 8:58Speaker 1: guests I have on my show. And I was explaining
- 9:01Speaker 1: those two and how different they are, but how interesting
- 9:06Speaker 1: they are. So Nicole, for people that didn't listen to
- 9:08Speaker 1: it yet, was a woman who was married with three kids.
- 9:11Speaker 1: She was a pastor, a female pastor, and was very
- 9:14Speaker 1: good at public speaking. She believed in Christ and all
- 9:19Speaker 1: this religious stuff and was very good and happy in
- 9:22Speaker 1: her life. And then after years of sort of struggling
- 9:25Speaker 1: with stuff, realized that she was queer and That's the
- 9:28Speaker 1: term she uses for herself. And then from there, she
- 9:31Speaker 1: realized that she was very into her sexuality.
- 9:35Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 9:38Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 9:43Speaker 4: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve
- 9:50Speaker 4: a treat.
- 9:54Speaker 5: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 9:57Speaker 5: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And wanted to become a stripper. So from pastor to stripper,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I find it, you know, headline making. I find it
- 10:11Speaker 1: so interesting. And by the way, she's so well-spoken.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I was going to say that.
- 10:15Speaker 1: She's really respect what she says because she's so well-spoken.
- 10:19Speaker 1: She's not some ditzy woman. And now she teaches women
- 10:22Speaker 1: who want to embrace their sexuality and also want to
- 10:24Speaker 1: make money and get on OnlyFans, how to have an
- 10:27Speaker 1: OnlyFans account, how to make money. Because she went from
- 10:29Speaker 1: literally being on food stamps to making over seven figures.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:33Speaker 1: A year is divorce now, really takes care of herself.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And I really respect that. I do too. Choosing your
- 10:41Speaker 1: path that makes you happy, life is way too short.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So what did you think of her interview?
- 10:45Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Oh, No, I loved Nicole. She really surprised me, first
- 10:49Speaker 2: of all. And she is just absolutely adorable. She's like
- 10:53Speaker 2: girl next door, cute, but like very open about, like
- 10:57Speaker 2: you said, her sexuality. She will talk about any subject, anything,
- 11:01Speaker 2: including deep throating, things like that, everything.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It was so interesting to me, yeah.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Her backstory is fascinating. She was so repressed. She grew
- 11:10Speaker 2: up in actually a very repressive religious environment. And she
- 11:16Speaker 2: left it. She's very happy now, super successful. And I
- 11:19Speaker 2: was going to say, she says in the podcast, it's
- 11:22Speaker 2: not just about spreading my legs and whatever. It's about
- 11:26Speaker 2: opening my heart to people. She really gives people a
- 11:30Speaker 2: glimpse into her life. She does add a lot of value.
- 11:33Speaker 2: She teaches classes. She's a life coach. And she's very successful,
- 11:39Speaker 2: which I was really interested in. And a lot of people,
- 11:42Speaker 2: there's a lot to learn from Nicole. So don't judge
- 11:46Speaker 2: the episode. Listen, give it a listen. It's entertaining and
- 11:50Speaker 2: you're going to be surprised by Nicole. So, yeah, but
- 11:53Speaker 2: totally different than our guest on Wednesday, Atuza Rubenstein. They
- 11:57Speaker 2: took very different paths and I was so impressed by Atuza.
- 12:02Speaker 2: she is so down to earth, just so down to earth.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And I just loved her story. Like, what did you
- 12:08Speaker 2: think you were there in person with her?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we were in person. We met in, uh, we
- 12:12Speaker 1: met up in New York and, um, first of all,
- 12:15Speaker 1: she's just so stunning and interesting in, in person, you know,
- 12:20Speaker 1: she's a very tall woman. Um, she's just so stylish and,
- 12:25Speaker 1: you know, she walks in and you're just like, wow,
- 12:27Speaker 1: she's gotta be someone, you know? And I think, um,
- 12:31Speaker 1: the way she spoke, the way she carried herself, the
- 12:35Speaker 1: way she talked. And by the way, the reason why
- 12:37Speaker 1: I booked her was because a couple of my friends
- 12:39Speaker 1: who are very well-known people in the fashion business right
- 12:42Speaker 1: now said to me, you know, this is a woman
- 12:45Speaker 1: you should have on your podcast because she's so interesting
- 12:48Speaker 1: and she ruled the world to the point where like
- 12:51Speaker 1: SNL was using her in a skit because she was
- 12:53Speaker 1: so well-known at such a young age. And then she
- 12:56Speaker 1: just gave it all up. And you know, we want
- 12:59Speaker 1: to know why and what happened to her, but she
- 13:00Speaker 1: was our idol. She was an icon. She was a
- 13:02Speaker 1: legend back then. And like, we want to know what
- 13:05Speaker 1: happened because she just resurfaced again on social media. So
- 13:09Speaker 1: I was honored when I saw that she was like
- 13:12Speaker 1: following me and she was liking all of our stuff.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And then I asked her to be on the program
- 13:16Speaker 1: and we had some mutual friends and she just was
- 13:19Speaker 1: like so fantastic in person and what a story. So,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you know, I don't know, for people that didn't know
- 13:25Speaker 1: her name as a household name, it's actually a really,
- 13:27Speaker 1: really cool story about, you know, you can have everything
- 13:32Speaker 1: and still be unhappy. And then what you choose to
- 13:34Speaker 1: do with that is like how you go on a
- 13:39Speaker 1: new path in your life. And you can stay on
- 13:41Speaker 1: that because money might be what drives you and that
- 13:44Speaker 1: can get you through and you can find happiness in that.
- 13:46Speaker 1: But she had all the money. She had a husband.
- 13:49Speaker 1: She had all these things going on, but she just
- 13:51Speaker 1: was not okay inside. And I think it was just
- 13:53Speaker 1: a really interesting story. Because not a lot of people
- 13:56Speaker 1: would have the courage to quit and to give up
- 13:59Speaker 1: all that.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I agree. And she gave it up for motherhood and
- 14:03Speaker 2: to be a wife. And that's very commendable. And we
- 14:07Speaker 2: can all relate to Atuza because she has done it all.
- 14:11Speaker 2: She's been a total boss babe in the career world.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And she's been like a stay-at-home mom. She's an entrepreneur.
- 14:20Speaker 2: So many things.
- 14:21Speaker 5: And I.
- 14:22Speaker 2: predict that there's a lot coming from her soon. I
- 14:26Speaker 2: think she's going to, you know, she's battling cancer, but
- 14:29Speaker 2: she's winning. She's gone through this messy divorce, but she
- 14:32Speaker 2: is totally... going through this journey. And I think she's
- 14:37Speaker 2: going to do something big here.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Me too. I hope so. I hope so. So
- 14:42Speaker 1: I want to hear about what's happened in the seven
- 14:46Speaker 1: days since we announced that you're getting married.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 1: For people that don't know what I'm talking about, Kelly
- 14:51Speaker 1: is getting married on New Year's Eve of 2024. And
- 14:55Speaker 1: the catch here is that we don't know who she's marrying.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So we're looking for him. So in the week since
- 15:00Speaker 1: we announced this, we created a Bumble site online. We
- 15:04Speaker 1: created a Seeking Arrangement site online. And we've been entertaining
- 15:09Speaker 1: different people that are reaching out to us about who
- 15:12Speaker 1: wants to get set up with Kelly. So I will
- 15:15Speaker 1: start by saying, because I've been managing some of these
- 15:18Speaker 1: accounts like the response was like, are you real? Remember
- 15:23Speaker 1: the guy who told you to like go stand next
- 15:25Speaker 1: to a telephone? Yeah. I do hold up a daily
- 15:28Speaker 1: newspaper so he could see that you're a real person. Yep.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yep.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So tell me, tell me all about what's been going
- 15:35Speaker 1: on this week.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. So I have a new second full-time
- 15:40Speaker 2: job now it's vetting these potential suitors and no, it's,
- 15:45Speaker 2: it is, This is why I was single for a
- 15:48Speaker 2: long time and I just didn't have time to date.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I just wrote it off because, wow, it's a lot.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's time consuming. It is. You have to put something
- 15:58Speaker 1: into it to get the right person because you have
- 15:59Speaker 1: to sift through all the junk. Yes.
- 16:03Speaker 2: There's a lot of sifting going on. I've already received
- 16:07Speaker 2: my first dick pic. So that's it. Yep. Yep.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Was it good?
- 16:12Speaker 2: It was good. Yes, it was good. Should I do
- 16:14Speaker 2: a dick rating? Yes. Yes.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It wasn't a close-up, actually. It was a full head-to-toe.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 16:22Speaker 2: The body was amazing. I didn't look super close at
- 16:27Speaker 2: the dick.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I mean, I did. You didn't zoom in or anything?
- 16:30Speaker 2: I mean, okay, I'm lying. I did do that, but
- 16:35Speaker 2: it was good.
- 16:35Speaker 1: So are you going out on a date with him
- 16:37Speaker 1: is the question?
- 16:37Speaker 2: No, absolutely not.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Because of the dick?
- 16:40Speaker 2: No, not because of the dick. Well, first off, he
- 16:44Speaker 2: used this lame excuse and was like, oh my God.
- 16:48Speaker 2: The next day he was like, I didn't mean to
- 16:51Speaker 2: send that. I thought I was just sending you a picture.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I'm like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. And then he was like, I
- 16:56Speaker 2: tried to delete it. Okay, I think I deleted it.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure you didn't see what I just sent.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Because you hadn't responded and said, oh, what an amazing dick.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I mean, is that what guys want you to say?
- 17:08Speaker 2: That's the most beautiful dick I've ever seen in my life.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I am giving you an award and a prize for
- 17:14Speaker 2: best dick. I don't know.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I don't know. I have a gentleman here I can ask. Richard,
- 17:18Speaker 1: what are your thoughts? What do you want to hear
- 17:20Speaker 1: from a woman?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Richard, by the way, does anyone call you dick, Richard?
- 17:24Speaker 1: He said yes.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 17:28Speaker 1: If you send a dick pic, do you want to hear, oh,
- 17:30Speaker 1: that's a nice one? Or you just wanted to send
- 17:33Speaker 1: it for your own, you know, Oh, he wants the validation,
- 17:37Speaker 1: he said.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Okay.
- 17:38Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Good to know. So you got to validate next time.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I think they all do. He was a little unique anyway,
- 17:45Speaker 2: and I learned a good lesson. Don't ever send someone
- 17:50Speaker 2: your cell phone number or give someone your personal cell
- 17:53Speaker 2: phone number until you've met them in person and vetted
- 17:56Speaker 2: them in person. And that's the one time I did it.
- 17:59Speaker 2: After I did it, I was like, oh, I wish
- 18:01Speaker 2: I could take that back because I Also, I Googled
- 18:04Speaker 2: my own cell phone number out of curiosity and it
- 18:08Speaker 2: all comes out.
- 18:08Speaker 1: All your information came out? Yes.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 1: That's really scary. Yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I used to work in real estate and that's the
- 18:14Speaker 2: same phone number I had for my business then. And
- 18:18Speaker 2: I've never changed it. I should probably change it. But anyway,
- 18:21Speaker 2: so anyway, besides that, that was exciting. But I'm on
- 18:27Speaker 2: two dating apps that I've never been on before, Seeking
- 18:30Speaker 2: and Bumble. They're very different.
- 18:33Speaker 1: They're very different. But before we even started the seeking,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I think you had already been invited on a boat
- 18:38Speaker 1: trip this weekend from someone.
- 18:41Speaker 5: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 18:44Speaker 5: know about the drawer.
- 18:46Speaker 4: The drawer. Just the one square before bed. Or two,
- 18:53Speaker 4: you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 19:00Speaker 5: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 19:03Speaker 5: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yep.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I got invited.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Are you going to go?
- 19:14Speaker 6: I am.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Wow.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I think.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Have you guys been speaking?
- 19:19Speaker 2: So it's someone I knew before. So I, I know
- 19:23Speaker 2: him like in real life and he's a super great guy.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess there was no love connection
- 19:30Speaker 2: before and there probably isn't now either.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well, did you actually go on a date with him before?
- 19:36Speaker 2: No, no, I didn't. It wasn't a date. So I've
- 19:39Speaker 2: only known him like in a personal, you know, just
- 19:41Speaker 2: like knowing the same people being in the same places.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And I also got invited to a concert that I'm
- 19:48Speaker 2: going to.
- 19:49Speaker 1: When is that?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Oh God.
- 19:51Speaker 2: It's like in a week or something. So I am super.
- 19:54Speaker 1: We're going to have so much to follow up on
- 19:57Speaker 1: and hear how the in-person offers went. So after, I'm curious,
- 20:01Speaker 1: after these guys asked you out, did you stop going
- 20:03Speaker 1: on the site and looking at other guys?
- 20:04Speaker 6: Yes.
- 20:06Speaker 5: No.
- 20:07Speaker 2: No, I'm looking for my husband here. I can't just
- 20:09Speaker 2: stop after one person invites me on a date, you know?
- 20:13Speaker 1: I'm just making sure that that's your mindset.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Oh, that is.
- 20:17Speaker 1: So now talk to me about what your thoughts are
- 20:19Speaker 1: on the difference between Seeking Arrangement and Bumble.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Okay. And first, and I also want to point out
- 20:25Speaker 2: the differences between Tinder and Bumble also, because I've been
- 20:28Speaker 2: on Tinder in the past, night and day difference. So
- 20:31Speaker 2: on Bumble, what I'm noticing is a lot more stable,
- 20:37Speaker 2: secure professional men, you know, who are good, like seem
- 20:41Speaker 2: like genuinely good people. Most of them have kids. They
- 20:45Speaker 2: are looking for a long-term relationship. Nobody on Bumble like
- 20:50Speaker 2: really wants a hookup or anything, which I'm happy about.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's great.
- 20:53Speaker 1: A lot more- They may just have not told you
- 20:55Speaker 1: that yet, but yeah, I know what you mean. Tinder
- 20:57Speaker 1: does seem like you're swiping to just see who I
- 21:01Speaker 1: want to fuck, who I want to fuck.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes. Tinder's totally like that. And then you've got all,
- 21:05Speaker 2: on Tinder, the men can make the first move. Bumble,
- 21:09Speaker 2: they cannot make the first move, which I hate because
- 21:12Speaker 2: I don't like making the first move. Part of the
- 21:15Speaker 2: courting process for me is seeing how a man will
- 21:18Speaker 2: make the first move. I like it. I like their
- 21:22Speaker 2: opening lines. I want to see what they use as
- 21:24Speaker 2: the initial pickup line or whatever and see how creative
- 21:27Speaker 2: they are. I like that. So I don't like that
- 21:29Speaker 2: about Bumble. But the quality of men on Bumble– also,
- 21:33Speaker 2: they're older. They're a little older on Bumble, I feel like, too.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I feel like Tinder is, like, more for the younger guys.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I think a little older is important because they've had experience.
- 21:42Speaker 1: They have a little stability that comes with them, you know.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So usually these are divorced men with some kids. You
- 21:49Speaker 1: have kids. It, like, makes more sense. It makes so
- 21:52Speaker 1: much sense. Some, like, 28-year-old who just, you know, has
- 21:55Speaker 1: a cougar complex or whatever.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. So on Bumble, my first day that I
- 22:01Speaker 2: signed up, I had 300 likes on it from like
- 22:07Speaker 2: 300 different people reaching out. And that was, it was
- 22:12Speaker 2: very overwhelming and I can't sift through all that. And
- 22:15Speaker 2: this is why I've delayed or deleted dating apps in
- 22:18Speaker 2: the past because I can't, I can't process it. It's
- 22:22Speaker 2: so much. And like, what, I don't know what to do.
- 22:24Speaker 2: And like, what about this? This is a great guy.
- 22:27Speaker 2: What if I miss out on the right one? And
- 22:29Speaker 2: it's so overwhelming. It's like being presented with this huge
- 22:35Speaker 2: buffet of gourmet food. No, I'm like, what do I
- 22:38Speaker 2: eat first? I want the dessert too. No, but it
- 22:42Speaker 2: is hard. But I've been talking to a couple of
- 22:45Speaker 2: great guys on there. Some of them are so great
- 22:50Speaker 2: and so sweet that I almost feel like he might
- 22:55Speaker 2: not be the one for me because he would like,
- 22:57Speaker 2: it seems like go get married today. Like, so kind
- 23:01Speaker 2: of like just really yearning for that long-term relationship. And
- 23:05Speaker 2: I want to take it really slow. So, but yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 2: So Bumble's great. Seeking is a whole different thing too.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I have never been on that. And it's very interesting
- 23:16Speaker 2: to me. There are a lot of, I mean, there
- 23:18Speaker 2: are some like catfishy kind of men actually on seeking
- 23:22Speaker 2: who are say they're so wealthy and they own a
- 23:28Speaker 2: company and they blah, blah, blah, whatever. And that might be,
- 23:31Speaker 2: but they try to inflate their presence and stuff.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I mean, because part of what's on
- 23:39Speaker 1: there is their net worth or how much they make
- 23:42Speaker 1: a year, because that's somewhat of the guidelines of what
- 23:47Speaker 1: that site is about. And from looking at your your
- 23:51Speaker 1: posts or whatever, I've noticed that the guys that are responding,
- 23:56Speaker 1: they're all genuinely interested in you. But then when I
- 23:58Speaker 1: look at their stats, they just look like ding-dongs because
- 24:02Speaker 1: it's like, oh, I'm worth over, my net worth is
- 24:05Speaker 1: over a hundred million dollars. No, it's not.
- 24:07Speaker 3: No, it's not.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You look like you're 30. You look like you live
- 24:10Speaker 1: in your parents' basement. Like, you know, you could tell
- 24:13Speaker 1: when people write stuff like that, that they're just full
- 24:15Speaker 1: of shit, you know? And It doesn't matter. Nobody needs
- 24:19Speaker 1: to have that much money. Like that's crazy. But like
- 24:21Speaker 1: the fact that they put that down just makes me
- 24:23Speaker 1: feel like they're a liar anyway. So you should pass.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I agree.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And what we need to say is you have been
- 24:30Speaker 2: in charge of my seeking account. You started it out
- 24:34Speaker 2: because we know I have a bad picker. So you.
- 24:38Speaker 2: just cut to the chase. See, I don't know if
- 24:41Speaker 2: you would have been like that on your own dating
- 24:44Speaker 2: account or whatever, but like for me, you were like, nope, nope.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I would just delete people before you even see it
- 24:51Speaker 1: because I was like, he's a loser. He's a liar.
- 24:53Speaker 1: He's a ding dong, like, you know, whatever. And sometimes
- 24:56Speaker 1: I would send you a picture and you'd be like, oh,
- 24:58Speaker 1: he's cute. And I'm like, no, he's not. He's like 12. Boom.
- 25:02Speaker 1: He looks a little feminine.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Boom.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You know, whatever. So Um, yeah, we've been going through
- 25:07Speaker 1: them very quick, but you have such a response that
- 25:10Speaker 1: like people are freaking out. Like they've never seen anything
- 25:12Speaker 1: like you on their site in your area, you know? So, um,
- 25:15Speaker 1: there's a lot of sugar daddies in the Midwest, I guess,
- 25:19Speaker 1: who are eagerly awaiting a date or a response from you.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yes. We'll see how that plays out. Yeah. But it
- 25:27Speaker 2: has been interesting. You know, I'm not caught up in
- 25:31Speaker 2: how much money somebody makes or anything like that, but
- 25:34Speaker 2: I love being surrounded by professional, successful people who have
- 25:38Speaker 2: something to teach me about because I'm very, I'm entrepreneurial
- 25:43Speaker 2: and I've started a business and things like that. And
- 25:45Speaker 2: I like to be surrounded by people who can bring
- 25:48Speaker 2: something to the table and, you know, kind of mentor
- 25:51Speaker 2: me a little bit too, not just like dating. And
- 25:54Speaker 2: like we talked about last week, so many times have
- 25:57Speaker 2: I been the one who pays for everything, which is crazy.
- 26:02Speaker 2: And now I see I was being used a few
- 26:05Speaker 2: times in some relationships and I never want to experience
- 26:09Speaker 2: that again. I have no problem paying once in a while,
- 26:11Speaker 2: but like, yeah. And that's not on that particular site
- 26:16Speaker 2: that people are not really like that, you know? So yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 1: No, I agree. I think it's, I think it'll be
- 26:22Speaker 1: interesting to see how, if anything pans out there or
- 26:24Speaker 1: if you actually like anyone or have a connection. Cause
- 26:27Speaker 1: I know when I've been responding for you on that site,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I've been saying like chemistry is important, you know, let's,
- 26:33Speaker 1: you know, cause some people will be really aggressive and
- 26:35Speaker 1: be like, can you meet on Friday or whatever? It's like, no,
- 26:38Speaker 1: let's talk for a second. If there's chemistry, then I
- 26:41Speaker 1: would be interested in meeting you. But like, I have
- 26:43Speaker 1: to hear who you are a little bit first.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Absolutely. Yeah. Like we've talked about on lots of episodes,
- 26:48Speaker 2: like with Aliza, Jewish matchmaking guru, she talked about that too.
- 26:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And I have noticed in a lot of men's profiles
- 26:57Speaker 1: on there that it says that they're looking for true love,
- 27:01Speaker 1: that they're looking, they're marriage minded, that they are looking
- 27:04Speaker 1: for something more than just a hookup. So I do
- 27:07Speaker 1: think that that site can be really helpful for the
- 27:09Speaker 1: right person.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I think so too. One thing I want to add
- 27:13Speaker 2: about seeking is I love the direct communication. It's a
- 27:17Speaker 2: site for people who know exactly what they want. They've
- 27:21Speaker 2: tried traditional dating in the past. They've either been screwed
- 27:25Speaker 2: over or just not finding quality people. So if you
- 27:30Speaker 2: are someone who knows exactly what you want and you're
- 27:33Speaker 2: good with that kind of direct communication, you can just say,
- 27:36Speaker 2: I'm looking for this. I'm looking for this. Oh, I
- 27:39Speaker 2: want something else. Okay, bye. Good luck. You know, and
- 27:42Speaker 2: you just part ways. And it's just, it's not like
- 27:46Speaker 2: any other dating.
- 27:47Speaker 6: Don't miss a minute of United Soccer League action. The
- 27:50Speaker 6: USL Championship and USL League One are on CBS Sports
- 27:53Speaker 6: and ESPN platforms all season long. With additional coverage on
- 27:58Speaker 6: Sirius XM FC, Channel 188, and select matches available in
- 28:02Speaker 6: Spanish on 2DNA. It's your time to take part in
- 28:06Speaker 6: building what's next. Visit uslchampionship.com or uslleague1. com for complete listings.
- 28:13Speaker 6: Find your local club and be part.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Of what's next.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Dating site iPhone. ever seen. And so I really like
- 28:20Speaker 2: that you establish right away if you would have long-term
- 28:24Speaker 2: goals that match.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Sure. And if people are still unfamiliar with what to
- 28:29Speaker 1: expect in that kind of dating pool, we did do
- 28:34Speaker 1: an episode with a woman who basically lives her life
- 28:37Speaker 1: as a sugar baby. And you should go back and
- 28:39Speaker 1: listen to that episode. I think it's episode five, maybe
- 28:42Speaker 1: somewhere at the beginning, but it was very informative. It
- 28:45Speaker 1: was one of our best interviews actually. And it was
- 28:48Speaker 1: a girl who was working in retail and then she
- 28:52Speaker 1: saw someone come into her store and realized that was
- 28:55Speaker 1: a completely different life than what she had and she
- 28:59Speaker 1: wanted it. And so she goes on to discuss like
- 29:01Speaker 1: how she became a sugar baby and what that's like
- 29:04Speaker 1: and what it's been like and her experiences. So I
- 29:06Speaker 1: think that's a really interesting episode. People have loved it.
- 29:09Speaker 2: People have loved it. It's called Confessions of a Sugar Baby.
- 29:13Speaker 2: You can find it anywhere. You, you know, get your podcasts,
- 29:17Speaker 2: look down towards, you know, one of our earlier episodes,
- 29:20Speaker 2: but it's great. Not saying I'm going to be a
- 29:23Speaker 2: sugar baby, but I do.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Doesn't mean it, but you can meet someone professional and
- 29:28Speaker 1: successful on that site.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And also, I mean, I know you, so I know
- 29:32Speaker 1: you're not responding to these people or even wanting from
- 29:34Speaker 1: these people, to be like, oh, take me out, get
- 29:38Speaker 1: me a Chanel purse as a gift. That's not even
- 29:40Speaker 1: the conversations that you're even having there because I'm having
- 29:43Speaker 1: half the conversations for you. So that's not even it,
- 29:46Speaker 1: but it's just the type of people are interesting.
- 29:48Speaker 2: That's all. Totally. And seeking has rebranded itself in the
- 29:53Speaker 2: last few years. It's not just a sugar baby situation anymore.
- 29:58Speaker 2: It's also for people who, like I said, know what
- 30:02Speaker 2: they want, haven't had luck with the traditional dating apps
- 30:05Speaker 2: and it's regular dating apps. So it's great. So yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 2: that's what's going on. We'll see what happens and I
- 30:11Speaker 2: will keep you guys updated. And again, if anybody does
- 30:15Speaker 2: think they've got a quality man for me to bring
- 30:18Speaker 2: to the dating pool, you can email us.
- 30:21Speaker 1: What's the email again?
- 30:23Speaker 2: It is gettingmarriedatmisunderstoodpodcast.com.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I can't wait to see how this transpires in the
- 30:32Speaker 1: next week.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. Me too. So let's move on to
- 30:36Speaker 2: some current events. Let's get off of my dating life.
- 30:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Today is Donald Trump's birthday. Did you know that?
- 30:44Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yes. The Twitter versus blowing up, um, talking about his
- 30:49Speaker 2: birthday today. Uh, so hopefully he has a happy birthday.
- 30:53Speaker 2: He's got a lot going on in his life right now.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah. I wonder how he's feeling on his birthday. I
- 30:59Speaker 1: wonder if he's spending it with Melania.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Definitely playing golf. He's in Florida. He's not too far
- 31:04Speaker 2: from you really.
- 31:05Speaker 1: So yeah, we definitely do not go in the same circles, but, uh,
- 31:09Speaker 1: He is down here in Florida. Yeah.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I can tell you where he's not. He's not on
- 31:13Speaker 2: a cruise ship. Let's talk about the news a little bit.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Some of this cruise ship news that's been happening. We
- 31:20Speaker 2: were going to talk about this story last week. We
- 31:22Speaker 2: didn't get a chance. But there is a norovirus epidemic
- 31:27Speaker 2: happening on cruise ships lately. Have you ever been on
- 31:30Speaker 2: a cruise, by the way?
- 31:31Speaker 3: I have.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I went on a cruise years ago. It was the
- 31:34Speaker 1: worst experience of my life. First of all, I just
- 31:37Speaker 1: felt seasick the whole time. Second of all, the ship's
- 31:40Speaker 1: like really big and annoying. Like it takes you forever
- 31:43Speaker 1: to get all these places. When there's bad weather, it's like,
- 31:46Speaker 1: you know, moving around and like you just feel gross.
- 31:49Speaker 1: the quarters, even if you get something on the nicer areas,
- 31:54Speaker 1: are really small. If you're there with a guy you
- 31:57Speaker 1: don't know well, you've got to share a bathroom. It's
- 31:59Speaker 1: just gross, especially if the norovirus is going on. And also,
- 32:04Speaker 1: there's so much food. It's like gluttonous. But I don't
- 32:07Speaker 1: play shuffle ball or whatever. I don't do all those things.
- 32:10Speaker 1: So It just wasn't fun for me at all. I
- 32:13Speaker 1: did not like it. I just, I'm not a cruise person,
- 32:16Speaker 1: but there are people that love the cruises. But what
- 32:18Speaker 1: we read is that there's been a lot of problems
- 32:21Speaker 1: on these cruises where most of the people ended up
- 32:24Speaker 1: having projectile vomiting situations and explosive diarrhea, explosive diarrhea. So
- 32:31Speaker 1: imagine being on a date with a guy and having
- 32:34Speaker 1: to share this, you know, cabin with with someone and
- 32:37Speaker 1: you're just in there with explosive diarrhea and you're banging
- 32:40Speaker 1: on there being like.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Get out.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I've got to go now. You know, I mean, the
- 32:43Speaker 1: whole thing is so horrible.
- 32:44Speaker 2: It's so horrible and it gets worse. But can you
- 32:47Speaker 2: imagine being on your honeymoon and that happening?
- 32:50Speaker 6: Oh, true.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yeah. It'd be so terrible.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But it gets even worse than just the diarrhea because
- 32:57Speaker 2: people have died. On one of the celebrity cruise ships,
- 33:00Speaker 2: it was going from New Jersey to Bermuda. The norovirus
- 33:04Speaker 2: just came on strong and there were 200 passengers who
- 33:14Speaker 2: were experiencing this and one of them actually died. This
- 33:18Speaker 2: is a terrible story.
- 33:20Speaker 1: So Robert- The gentleman who was put in an ice
- 33:23Speaker 1: bucket or something?
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. So Robert Jones, he died from heart complications
- 33:29Speaker 2: after this virus. And He was put in a cooler,
- 33:34Speaker 2: a beverage cooler on the ship. He was there for
- 33:37Speaker 2: days just laying on the floor in a body bag.
- 33:41Speaker 2: He decomposed so badly during that time. I'm laughing, but
- 33:46Speaker 2: it is not funny. It's really horrible. He decomposed so
- 33:49Speaker 2: badly during that time that he couldn't even have an
- 33:52Speaker 2: open casket for his funeral. Okay. Yeah. And the family's, yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 2: it's terrible. It's really sad. The family is suing for
- 33:58Speaker 2: $ 1 million due to that.
- 34:00Speaker 1: And honestly, I mean, that's crazy.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I think $ 1 million is like getting off pretty cheap.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Too little. I mean, imagine you work there and you're
- 34:10Speaker 1: going in to grab, you know, some diet Cokes for
- 34:12Speaker 1: some people out at the pool and there's a body.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I mean, how awful. And then this poor man who
- 34:17Speaker 1: was traveling with his wife and, you know, they're looking
- 34:21Speaker 1: forward to this holiday and they're, you know, pooling all
- 34:24Speaker 1: their money together to, you know, to go on this trip.
- 34:27Speaker 1: And then he just drops dead and they don't even
- 34:30Speaker 1: take care of him properly. The whole thing is really awful.
- 34:32Speaker 1: This is why I'm saying cruises are a bad decision.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Do something else besides going on a cruise.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Speaking of that, why it's a bad decision. Well, I've
- 34:39Speaker 2: never been on a cruise. I don't want to go
- 34:41Speaker 2: on a cruise because of so many horror stories, but
- 34:44Speaker 2: I would feel very claustrophobic. I feel like, I feel
- 34:47Speaker 2: like I'd, yeah, I feel like I'd get bored, but
- 34:50Speaker 2: I know there's a lot of activities, but there have
- 34:52Speaker 2: been so many unexplained deaths on cruise ships and the
- 34:58Speaker 2: big company, sometimes they kind of like cover things up or,
- 35:02Speaker 2: you know, people randomly fall overboard and go missing or
- 35:06Speaker 2: there've been murders and things like that on.
- 35:08Speaker 1: It's just like, do you remember that story of they
- 35:11Speaker 1: have it in the true crime world of It was
- 35:13Speaker 1: like a very good looking couple and they were on
- 35:15Speaker 1: their honeymoon and he fell out the window. It was
- 35:18Speaker 1: like blood off of the balcony and he went missing
- 35:22Speaker 1: and they assumed that he went in the water cause
- 35:23Speaker 1: he's never been found again. And I'm not sure why
- 35:26Speaker 1: that maybe the fiance or the wife was charged, but
- 35:29Speaker 1: I just remember that I've seen it on a couple
- 35:31Speaker 1: of date lines or whatever, but I thought that was crazy.
- 35:34Speaker 2: That is crazy. I remember that from True Crime World.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I don't remember all the details, but I totally remember
- 35:39Speaker 2: what you're talking about. But that's not the only time
- 35:42Speaker 2: that's happened either. There have been several mysterious deaths that,
- 35:46Speaker 2: you know, just a lot of crazy stuff. No cruises
- 35:49Speaker 2: for me. No diarrhea.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Let's keep that off our list for sure.
- 35:53Speaker 2: So, okay. I know you probably don't drink beer. Do you?
- 35:56Speaker 1: Are you a beer girl? I've never had a beer,
- 35:58Speaker 1: if you can believe that. I can't believe that. Yeah. Okay.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I stick to Chardonnay and Aperol spreads, but I have
- 36:05Speaker 1: a fear of throwing up. Did you know this about me?
- 36:07Speaker 2: You told me that early on when we met and yes,
- 36:11Speaker 2: I knew that.
- 36:12Speaker 1: It's a really crazy fear. When I was four years old,
- 36:16Speaker 1: I ate poison berries and my mother gave me Ipecac
- 36:18Speaker 1: because she called poison control and they said that that's
- 36:20Speaker 1: what you give a child when they eat something poisonous.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And I had, I mean, sorry, I want to spare
- 36:26Speaker 1: you the details, but I will say I had rice
- 36:28Speaker 1: and beans and some green grapes for breakfast. lunch that day.
- 36:32Speaker 1: And I projectile vomited all this. To this day, I'm 48.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I do not eat rice and beans. I do not
- 36:37Speaker 1: eat green grapes. It traumatized me in a way because
- 36:40Speaker 1: it was so violent the way you throw up when
- 36:42Speaker 1: you take Ipecac that I'm petrified of throwing up. Like
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'd rather be on a hijacked plane and I've never
- 36:48Speaker 1: thrown up again. I have medicine in my house to
- 36:51Speaker 1: prevent me from feeling nauseous.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Don't miss the USL Championship Final on CBS, November 21st
- 36:57Speaker 3: at noon Eastern. Will the Pittsburgh Riverhounds retain their crown,
- 37:01Speaker 3: or will new title winners emerge? Don't miss the conclusion
- 37:05Speaker 3: to the 2026 season, Saturday, November 21st, noon Eastern, on CBS.
- 37:12Speaker 1: We are not a household that throws up. Anytime my
- 37:14Speaker 1: daughter has a stomachache, I like talk her down. I'm like,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you're not going to throw up. You're going to be fine.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It's something that scared me from childhood.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. So even like the flu or anything,
- 37:26Speaker 2: you just.
- 37:27Speaker 1: I've never, no. I don't drink a lot is how
- 37:30Speaker 1: we got on this conversation, but because I don't go
- 37:34Speaker 1: on roller coasters, but I don't want to do anything
- 37:36Speaker 1: that's going to put myself in a situation where I
- 37:39Speaker 1: throw up. And if I hear somebody gagging- I will freeze.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I'm not somebody that has any nervous energy, but if
- 37:46Speaker 1: someone gags in the vicinity of me where I can
- 37:49Speaker 1: hear it, I start to panic. I'm like, oh my God,
- 37:53Speaker 1: what is that? Get me away from that person.
- 37:56Speaker 2: What if it's your dog?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Oh, well, my dog gags all the time because she's
- 38:00Speaker 1: always getting into some sort of nonsense. But it's, I
- 38:04Speaker 1: get upset for her. Like, you know, I, I feel
- 38:07Speaker 1: like empathetic about it because I know it's so scary,
- 38:10Speaker 1: but dogs, because they throw up all the time, it's
- 38:12Speaker 1: not a big deal. I mean, my dog just spends
- 38:14Speaker 1: her life, you know, shitting and throwing up kind of,
- 38:16Speaker 1: so it's a little bit tragic, but I don't get
- 38:19Speaker 1: as upset. I, I do get nervous for her, but
- 38:22Speaker 1: it's not something where I'm like, oh my God, I
- 38:23Speaker 1: have to like run out of the room.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I, I throw up All the time. No,
- 38:28Speaker 2: I really don't. But I have thrown up a lot.
- 38:31Speaker 2: It is the worst. It's terrible. And yeah, speaking of alcohol,
- 38:35Speaker 2: I can't drink very much and can't handle my alcohol
- 38:39Speaker 2: at all. But sometimes I do it anyway. And when
- 38:41Speaker 2: I do, I will throw up. So note to self,
- 38:44Speaker 2: I'll do that way far away from you if I
- 38:46Speaker 2: have to do that. But back to beer. Have you heard? No,
- 38:50Speaker 2: that's a great rabbit hole. Have you heard, though, about
- 38:55Speaker 2: the whole Bud Light thing going on? Their new spokesperson. Oh,
- 38:59Speaker 2: tell me. very conservative people have had a terrible reaction.
- 39:08Speaker 2: People are boycotting Bud Light. It's craziness because Dylan Mulvaney
- 39:15Speaker 2: is a transgender woman. And that's a little controversial. People
- 39:19Speaker 2: have had a terrible reaction to that and they have
- 39:22Speaker 2: boycotted Bud Light.
- 39:24Speaker 1: But as of today, Because she was a transgender?
- 39:26Speaker 2: Because of that. And I think that's crazy and hateful
- 39:29Speaker 2: and horrible.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Well, I think like Hicks in middle America, or is
- 39:32Speaker 1: this like a real boycott?
- 39:34Speaker 2: It's a lot of hicks in middle America, but I
- 39:37Speaker 2: think it's across the country. People have been boycotting Bud Light.
- 39:40Speaker 2: It really has had an effect on their sales. They're
- 39:43Speaker 2: no longer the number one beer. Trending today, the new
- 39:47Speaker 2: number one beer is Medelo, which is bottled or brewed
- 39:52Speaker 2: in Mexico. It's a Mexican beer, which is interesting because
- 39:55Speaker 2: you've got people on the very conservative side boycotting Bud Light. Well,
- 40:00Speaker 2: now they have forced a Mexican beer to be the
- 40:03Speaker 2: number one beer. It's all owned by Anheuser-Busch though. So
- 40:06Speaker 2: it's all the same parent company. Probably really doesn't have
- 40:09Speaker 2: much of an effect on their bottom line. But I
- 40:12Speaker 2: just found that interesting. So it is Pride Month and
- 40:15Speaker 2: they released this beer can with Dylan Mulvaney's picture and
- 40:19Speaker 2: everything in honor of Pride Month, which I think is
- 40:22Speaker 2: great to support all communities, transgender, LGBT, and everything. It's
- 40:27Speaker 2: gotten a lot of hate. I'm not down with that.
- 40:29Speaker 1: So that's just- No, of course I'm not down with
- 40:31Speaker 1: that either. But it is a very interesting choice of
- 40:34Speaker 1: a spokesman for a beer company, which is primarily very manly.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Yes, very blue collar beer. So it was an interesting
- 40:43Speaker 2: marketing move for them. It did end up backfiring, but
- 40:48Speaker 2: who knows, you know, maybe years down the road, they'll
- 40:51Speaker 2: look back at this time and they'll say this was
- 40:53Speaker 2: a pivotal moment. I don't know, you know, who knows
- 40:56Speaker 2: what's going to happen, but Medelo is trending today.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Well, maybe if I go to a bar tonight, I'll
- 41:03Speaker 1: try it for my first time to see what it
- 41:05Speaker 1: tastes like.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Medelo might not be a good one to start with.
- 41:09Speaker 2: It's kind of like, It's like a more, it's a
- 41:11Speaker 2: heavier beer. So yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Well, I figured since it was number one, a lot
- 41:15Speaker 1: of people like it, but.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah. A lot of people do like it. Stick with
- 41:18Speaker 2: your Chardonnay though.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I think that's way better.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Oh, we have to mention that this coming Sunday is
- 41:23Speaker 2: Father's Day. I totally forgot. I'm such a jerk. Yeah. Well,
- 41:28Speaker 2: my dad passed away four years ago. Your dad's not
- 41:32Speaker 2: around anymore. Do you think about Father's Day? Like when
- 41:35Speaker 2: that day comes around, do you think about your dad?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Are you sad? Like, how do you feel about Father's Day?
- 41:40Speaker 1: I think I think about it for a second because
- 41:43Speaker 1: I don't like to think about it. So, and my
- 41:45Speaker 1: father hasn't been in my life for a very long time.
- 41:47Speaker 1: My father died when I was 15. And even before that,
- 41:50Speaker 1: you know, I didn't see him all that often. He
- 41:53Speaker 1: lived in Alaska. I lived in New York and then
- 41:55Speaker 1: I was sent to boarding school. So, It was, you know,
- 41:59Speaker 1: it's been a very long time. I do, if I
- 42:01Speaker 1: sat around and thought about him, it would, or thought
- 42:05Speaker 1: about the fact that I don't have him on Father's Day,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I probably would go down a rabbit hole feeling sad.
- 42:09Speaker 1: So I choose not to think about it. My daughter
- 42:12Speaker 1: always spends Father's Day with her dad. And so I
- 42:15Speaker 1: think that's important for her. You know, I definitely think
- 42:18Speaker 1: in divorce families, it's important for kids to, you know,
- 42:21Speaker 1: spend time with their fathers and appreciate them, even if
- 42:23Speaker 1: you don't. don't co-parent well, or even if you don't
- 42:26Speaker 1: get along with them, I still think it's, you know,
- 42:29Speaker 1: important for her to have her day with her dad. So,
- 42:32Speaker 1: you know, I appreciate him for being her father. And
- 42:36Speaker 1: that's about the extent of it.
- 42:37Speaker 2: So I'm divorced as well. I wanted to touch on
- 42:40Speaker 2: that too about celebrating Father's Day and Mother's Day in
- 42:43Speaker 2: a divorced family. How does that work? I always too
- 42:47Speaker 2: may not agree with my ex all the time. Usually
- 42:50Speaker 2: we do, but I think it's super important. I always
- 42:53Speaker 2: have helped the boys buy a gift for their dad
- 42:56Speaker 2: or something like that. That's nice.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I would want them to do that for me. So
- 43:00Speaker 2: Try to be nice. So happy Father's Day coming up
- 43:03Speaker 2: to all the dads. Celebrity chat. Let's do a little
- 43:07Speaker 2: celebrity chat. Yeah. We missed this last weekend too. You're
- 43:11Speaker 2: more like well-versed on the reality TV and all of
- 43:15Speaker 2: that stuff than I am. I need to get a
- 43:18Speaker 2: little more into it, but Is Scandival over yet? I
- 43:22Speaker 2: feel like it's totally died down after the part three
- 43:26Speaker 2: of the Vanderpump Rules reunion. And we need to talk
- 43:30Speaker 2: about that a little bit. It was last week. You
- 43:33Speaker 2: watched it. You watched all three parts.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I had a really hard time watching it. I
- 43:38Speaker 1: thought the verbal abuse that went on towards Tom and
- 43:43Speaker 1: Raquel was so out of line. I thought it was
- 43:46Speaker 1: shocking that Bravo wouldn't have told Andy or Lisa Vanderpump
- 43:53Speaker 1: that they have to mediate that better because the way
- 43:57Speaker 1: that not only the girlfriend who was cheated on, but
- 44:02Speaker 1: the two others that were sitting next to her, or
- 44:06Speaker 1: there was more than that, but specifically two people that
- 44:10Speaker 1: were just So awful. One of the guys kept leaving
- 44:13Speaker 1: the set. Another girl was standing up calling names, calling
- 44:17Speaker 1: Raquel names like moron or whatever. And I just, it
- 44:20Speaker 1: was actually hard to watch because I was like, honestly,
- 44:24Speaker 1: if something happens to this girl, if she takes her
- 44:26Speaker 1: life or if. there's any negative consequences, like real tangible consequences,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I hope these people are held liable. Like I thought
- 44:34Speaker 1: that was really insane, the level of anger and projection
- 44:39Speaker 1: for people that she didn't even do anything to. So,
- 44:41Speaker 1: I mean, let's all get honest. We all know somebody
- 44:43Speaker 1: who's cheating. We all know somebody who has cheated. Like
- 44:46Speaker 1: it could have been your friend or not. And maybe
- 44:48Speaker 1: you feel betrayed. But it's not your issue. It's the
- 44:51Speaker 1: three of them that are dealing with it. And I
- 44:53Speaker 1: thought it was so wrong for a network to allow
- 44:56Speaker 1: that level of bullying. People have killed themselves for a
- 45:00Speaker 1: lot less.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Oh, totally.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:02Speaker 1: And I think it's just completely disgusting that so many
- 45:06Speaker 1: people have jumped on that bandwagon of like herd mentality
- 45:09Speaker 1: because they feel wronged about something. They want to jump
- 45:11Speaker 1: all over these two. And, you know, it's not condoning
- 45:15Speaker 1: their behavior. It's not condoning the negative behavior of other
- 45:19Speaker 1: people that want to shame them, bully them, and, like,
- 45:22Speaker 1: literally make them kill themselves. It's, like, incredibly wrong. It's
- 45:26Speaker 1: incredibly wrong. I think it's disgusting. And I think if
- 45:29Speaker 1: the tides don't turn at this point, now that the
- 45:31Speaker 1: show's over, to, like, say, okay, we've had enough and
- 45:35Speaker 1: we can't accept this anymore, like, then I think Bravo's
- 45:38Speaker 1: actually going to have it backfire on them.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I think so too. And people online agree with exactly
- 45:44Speaker 2: what you're saying. Yeah. There was a buildup, you know,
- 45:47Speaker 2: part one, two, and then the finale part three, it
- 45:50Speaker 2: seemed like the internet was agreeing with Ariana. You know,
- 45:53Speaker 2: they were totally on her team on her side and
- 45:57Speaker 2: there were a lot of cyber bullies. People were like
- 45:59Speaker 2: really ganging up on Raquel, but after part three was released,
- 46:03Speaker 2: it was like the tipping point. It seemed like people
- 46:05Speaker 2: were like, wow, this is super cringy. This is really horrible.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And yeah, They also released information that Raquel had actually
- 46:14Speaker 2: checked herself into a mental health facility because of this
- 46:18Speaker 2: overwhelming hate and just vitriol that was coming from people.
- 46:23Speaker 2: She just couldn't handle it anymore. And so she checked
- 46:25Speaker 2: herself into a mental health facility. Yes, I think people finally,
- 46:29Speaker 2: finally were like, okay, this is really bad. This has
- 46:32Speaker 2: to stop. And now it just doesn't seem like... I'm
- 46:35Speaker 2: not seeing a whole lot about the whole Scandaval issue
- 46:38Speaker 2: anymore on social media.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Well, actually, Page Six posted something just as I was
- 46:42Speaker 1: sitting down with you. I quickly looked at it. Yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 1: and they were saying how somebody from The View, I
- 46:48Speaker 1: think I have to look now who it was, but
- 46:50Speaker 1: a celebrity or something was taking Raquel's side at this point.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And I just think it's gross. And I really hope
- 46:56Speaker 1: that people... don't give them a platform to be like, well,
- 47:01Speaker 1: now we forgive her. But what I also thought was
- 47:03Speaker 1: gross is like some stuff came out of the reunion
- 47:05Speaker 1: and then the next morning you see shirts being made,
- 47:09Speaker 1: you know, to represent a certain statement or, you know,
- 47:14Speaker 1: she was on like in Glamour magazine using all these
- 47:17Speaker 1: ridiculous quotes. And it's kind of like, why? She was
- 47:20Speaker 1: cheated on. Join the club. I mean, there's a big deal,
- 47:23Speaker 1: of course, but what's the big deal that she gets
- 47:25Speaker 1: to be in Glamour to talk about, you know, to
- 47:27Speaker 1: shame other people? And the quote they use was so
- 47:31Speaker 1: weird because she's like, when I'm in a relationship, that
- 47:33Speaker 1: doesn't give you free right to like take over my body.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I'm not your fleshlight or something. Well, if you're not
- 47:39Speaker 1: in a relationship, it's called a friendship. It's called a roommate. Yeah.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And if you're in a relationship, you're probably supposed to
- 47:46Speaker 1: have sex with them because that's the only thing that
- 47:48Speaker 1: differentiates the two. So, you know, if you wanted to,
- 47:52Speaker 1: was she now calling him like a rapist? I like
- 47:54Speaker 1: didn't understand that. I just thought it was so weird.
- 47:56Speaker 2: They painted him to be very creepy, very like hypersexual.
- 48:00Speaker 1: She should have broken up with him.
- 48:02Speaker 2: I mean, I agree.
- 48:02Speaker 1: We had some balls and stand up for yourself, you know,
- 48:05Speaker 1: but this girl has totally gotten, you know, every opportunity
- 48:09Speaker 1: because of what happened to her. And I just think
- 48:12Speaker 1: it's bizarre, you know, because it's like it was a
- 48:14Speaker 1: private matter, but they're on a show. So it was
- 48:17Speaker 1: a public matter, but she's like getting rewarded with movie
- 48:20Speaker 1: deals and TV deals and magazine things. And, you know,
- 48:23Speaker 1: now she's opening a business, a sandwich shop, and she's
- 48:26Speaker 1: selling merchandise. And it's just like, wait a minute, who's
- 48:30Speaker 1: making out like a bandit out of this? It doesn't
- 48:33Speaker 1: seem like she's that devastated. Do you know what I mean?
- 48:36Speaker 2: We all know the show wasn't doing as well. It
- 48:39Speaker 2: wasn't as successful before this whole scandal came out. And
- 48:42Speaker 2: now it is literally like there's merch. There's everything. They
- 48:46Speaker 2: are making a huge profit off of it. I feel
- 48:48Speaker 2: like a lot of it was orchestrated for that reason.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I think their actions were so over the top and gross.
- 48:55Speaker 1: But that's just me. I wouldn't be friends with that
- 48:56Speaker 1: kind of group.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Hopefully, we can move on from Scandival. I think everybody's
- 49:02Speaker 2: kind of tired of it, really.
- 49:03Speaker 1: To be honest. Yeah, I think so.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Swim suit season is here. Well, it's always here for
- 49:07Speaker 2: you because you live in Florida, but me in the
- 49:09Speaker 2: Midwest bathing suit season is here. It's got me, you know, I'm,
- 49:13Speaker 2: I'm working on my body, trying to get, you know,
- 49:16Speaker 2: beach ready and all of those things. But you know,
- 49:18Speaker 2: who else is beach ready? Martha Stewart.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Oh, yes.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Have you seen this? The cover of Sports Illustrated?
- 49:25Speaker 1: I mean, I think she looks great, you know. And
- 49:27Speaker 1: then Sharon Stone posted a thirst trap bathing suit photo.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I mean, I think we all do when it gets
- 49:32Speaker 1: warm out and everyone's been on Ozempic for a while.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:35Speaker 1: You know, so I think, you know, it's the time
- 49:38Speaker 1: you're going to see a lot of thirst trap bathing
- 49:39Speaker 1: suit photos. You know, I actually like looking at those
- 49:42Speaker 1: because I like to know who's making the best bathing
- 49:44Speaker 1: suits of the season.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So, like, I happen to love Maya Swimwear. They
- 49:48Speaker 1: have this great ruching in the back that makes you
- 49:51Speaker 1: look like you have a good ass. Love that.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 1: So, I mean … To me, that's like the reason
- 49:57Speaker 1: that I kind of look at these things because I'm like, oh,
- 49:59Speaker 1: that's great. Or, oh, Martha's 80 and she looks like that. Awesome.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I can go to the gym and like I can
- 50:04Speaker 1: fix myself really quickly. So yeah, I appreciate these women
- 50:07Speaker 1: that do that.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. And as you know, in my 40s, whatever,
- 50:11Speaker 2: I love to see women who are just still rocking
- 50:13Speaker 2: it when they're older and it gives me a lot
- 50:16Speaker 2: of hope. Speaking of Ozempic, Is that still like a
- 50:20Speaker 2: big thing or is it kind of dying down? What
- 50:22Speaker 2: do you think?
- 50:23Speaker 1: No, I think it's a big thing. I was just
- 50:24Speaker 1: at dinner last night, as I've mentioned three times, and
- 50:26Speaker 1: a couple of the women at the table were like
- 50:29Speaker 1: talking about it and wanting to get on it, wanting
- 50:31Speaker 1: to find a doctor. And even one of the guys
- 50:32Speaker 1: we were with was curious about it. So I think
- 50:36Speaker 1: eventually it'll become a very mainstream thing for weight loss.
- 50:40Speaker 1: And I think that a lot of people were getting
- 50:41Speaker 1: shamed for it for a while, but I think it'll
- 50:43Speaker 1: end up being a mainstream thing. Cause it does, it
- 50:46Speaker 1: does work very well. I know a ton of people
- 50:48Speaker 1: on it. Um, and as long as they can handle
- 50:50Speaker 1: the side effects, some people have really bad side effects.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Some people, you know, don't even feel it. So I
- 50:55Speaker 1: think it'll become a mainstream thing for sure.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I don't understand the stigma, especially if you're overweight and
- 51:01Speaker 2: you are struggling.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Why not?
- 51:03Speaker 2: I mean, use it for six weeks, get healthy.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I think the stigma was that it's created for people
- 51:08Speaker 1: with diabetes. So I feel like, you know, those people
- 51:11Speaker 1: are like, oh my God, you know, or people that
- 51:13Speaker 1: don't know, because listen, a doctor can prescribe it to anyone.
- 51:17Speaker 1: There's a surplus. I mean, it's not like people are
- 51:20Speaker 1: like not going to be able to get it. You know,
- 51:21Speaker 1: the company is enjoying all this new press about it.
- 51:24Speaker 1: So they're, you know, they're making more of it. So
- 51:28Speaker 1: it's not like people with diabetes are going to die
- 51:30Speaker 1: because they don't get their medicine because- people that want
- 51:33Speaker 1: to lose weight, these vain people just want to use
- 51:35Speaker 1: their medication. I think that's a bunch of bullshit.
- 51:37Speaker 2: I mean, there are tons of medications, prescription medications throughout
- 51:41Speaker 2: history that have multi-purpose uses. So I don't see the
- 51:44Speaker 2: big deal. I used Ozempic and I'm very thankful for it.
- 51:48Speaker 2: And I don't, I'm not embarrassed of it at all
- 51:50Speaker 2: because it helped me so much.
- 51:52Speaker 1: And yeah. Yeah. And you didn't have bad side effects, right?
- 51:55Speaker 2: I didn't have, I don't feel like I had any
- 51:57Speaker 2: side effects. Obviously it made me have not much of
- 52:01Speaker 2: an appetite, but that's the whole point of it. I
- 52:03Speaker 2: didn't have, I didn't throw up, didn't have like anything bad.
- 52:07Speaker 1: How much weight at this point have you lost?
- 52:09Speaker 2: I've lost 22 pounds now since.
- 52:11Speaker 1: The very start.
- 52:12Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Getting ready to fit in the wedding dress.
- 52:15Speaker 5: Yes.
- 52:15Speaker 2: I have to fit in the wedding dress, all of that.
- 52:17Speaker 2: So yeah, it's, it's been great. So little bit of
- 52:20Speaker 2: a glow up a little bit of a midlife glow up.
- 52:22Speaker 1: So good.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Good.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Okay. So that's all I've got for today. Rachel, what
- 52:27Speaker 2: about you? Anything else?
- 52:28Speaker 1: That's it. I, you know, again, I'm struggling with my
- 52:31Speaker 1: week so far. I've had house guests. I've had my
- 52:34Speaker 1: dogs gotten out of the gate, gated yard a couple
- 52:36Speaker 1: of times. I'm heading home now to go meet with
- 52:39Speaker 1: an obedience trainer. And we just got the electric fence
- 52:42Speaker 1: put in yesterday. So, I mean, I've got a lot
- 52:44Speaker 1: going on, but we wanted to, you know, of course
- 52:46Speaker 1: stop and have a moment of happy hour so we
- 52:49Speaker 1: could talk to you guys. The one thing we didn't
- 52:51Speaker 1: do today was spit or swallow because we don't have
- 52:55Speaker 1: our alcohol sponsors yet, but we have people on board.
- 52:58Speaker 1: So next week we will have our alcohol with us
- 53:01Speaker 1: and we will decide what we are spitting and what
- 53:04Speaker 1: we are swallowing. So we can't wait to bring that
- 53:06Speaker 1: to you next week.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I can't wait. A little bit raunchy. It's going to
- 53:09Speaker 2: be great. It's going to be so fun. So everybody
- 53:11Speaker 2: have a wonderful weekend. Happy Father's Day.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Yes, for sure. And if you get some time, if
- 53:16Speaker 1: you're going to the gym, if you're walking around, please
- 53:20Speaker 1: catch up on all of our episodes. If you have
- 53:22Speaker 1: any questions for us, DM us. If you have any
- 53:24Speaker 1: guest suggestions, DM us.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yes, we have a lot of amazing guests coming up.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Everyone's going to want to check that out. Yep.
- 53:31Speaker 1: So you need this weekend to catch up so you
- 53:33Speaker 1: can listen as we put stuff out.
- 53:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:37Speaker 2: All right. Well, cheers, Rachel.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Happy Thursday. See you soon.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Oh, that's okay.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Okay.
