A once-shelved Looney Tunes hybrid movie, “Coyote vs. Acme,” is finally hitting theaters after a wild ride from near cancellation to resurrection. Starring Will Forte as Wile E. Coyote’s lawyer and John Cena as his slick Acme defense attorney, the live-action/animated mashup was filmed in 2022 but shelved by Warner Bros. for tax reasons — leaving the cast heartbroken.
