- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty Bill.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Handle here on a Thursday morning, May twenty eighth. Amy
- 0:12Speaker 2: earlier this morning in the news talked about the National
- 0:16Speaker 2: Spelling Bee is going on, and.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It's what did you say?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Seven in Southern California spellers, young spellers are going to
- 0:26Speaker 2: the spelling Bee.
- 0:27Speaker 3: So it's down now to two in Southern California, one
- 0:31Speaker 3: from La County and one from San Bernardino County.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And I'm assuming it's either a Korean, a Vietnamese person,
- 0:39Speaker 2: or a Chinese kid, because inevitably they always win. And
- 0:44Speaker 2: the reason is, do you remember the story of the
- 0:46Speaker 2: boat people that were coming from North Vietnam and they
- 0:50Speaker 2: were escaping and they go on these rickety boats and
- 0:53Speaker 2: go thirty five hundred miles and if they weren't eaten
- 0:56Speaker 2: by sharks, they would hit the United States, they would
- 0:59Speaker 2: hit the shoreline. So you had these kids, eight nine
- 1:02Speaker 2: year old kids that got off the boat hit sure
- 1:06Speaker 2: started school because they didn't speak English. A week later,
- 1:08Speaker 2: they either win the Westinghouse Science Contest or the spelling Pee.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It's one of the two. Well immigrants an astounding immigrant story, I.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Think actually One of the kids is fourteen year old
- 1:24Speaker 3: Shrey Perik from Day Creek Intermediate in Rancho Cucamonga. And
- 1:29Speaker 3: the other one is also an eighth grader, Olive for
- 1:33Speaker 3: Halkitt from Mermon School in Brentwood.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, Merman School. So one I'm assuming is Indian.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I forgot to add Indian to that in any case
- 1:44Speaker 2: that inevitably happens. And by the way, that's not being
- 1:48Speaker 2: a racist, I don't think so. It's just acknowledging that
- 1:52Speaker 2: these immigrants are extraordinary, extraordinary.
- 1:55Speaker 3: People, and their parents really encourage these colors.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's the culture. It's the culture.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and the parents don't speak English, and it's just
- 2:04Speaker 2: an amazing immigrant story that America really is the land
- 2:08Speaker 2: of opportunity. Okay, let me tell you what's going on
- 2:12Speaker 2: in California. New law the governor is signing it will
- 2:17Speaker 2: ban anyone from interfering with California elections. And this is
- 2:23Speaker 2: just in time for the primaries on June second, next week,
- 2:27Speaker 2: and it takes effect immediately criminalizes the act of taking
- 2:31Speaker 2: ballots from the custody of a local election official. And
- 2:35Speaker 2: why is this Well, because Riverside County share of Chad
- 2:39Speaker 2: Bianco running for governor and a firm trumpet this year
- 2:46Speaker 2: sees more than six hundred thousand ballots from his own
- 2:51Speaker 2: registrar of voters. And why did he seize those ballots
- 2:56Speaker 2: because he was checking for proof of fraudulent voting.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Have you heard anything since then?
- 3:01Speaker 2: No? Has he found fraudulent evidence evidence of fraudulent voting.
- 3:06Speaker 1: No he has not.
- 3:08Speaker 2: This is all part of the conspiracy world where if
- 3:12Speaker 2: a Democrat wins an election, it is a fraud if
- 3:18Speaker 2: a Democrat wins. And this started with, of course the
- 3:21Speaker 2: election deniers and the Joe Biden election that by definition,
- 3:26Speaker 2: Democrats winning are fraudulent.
- 3:28Speaker 1: If Republicans win, that's a fair election.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And Chad Bianco is prove positive that's the case. We're
- 3:36Speaker 2: going to grab all these votes and investigate whether or
- 3:40Speaker 2: not fraudulent voting took place. Okay, why not? And here's
- 3:46Speaker 2: the problem. It's the conspiracy world run a monk, and
- 3:50Speaker 2: it's just a shame. And then here is the outcome
- 3:54Speaker 2: of all this, and that is we don't have fair
- 3:57Speaker 2: elections anymore, only have rigged election if a Democrat wins.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And I never thought we'd come to this. I really
- 4:06Speaker 2: don't now, not that I'm a big fan of the
- 4:09Speaker 2: Democrats in many ways because the Democrat because there's so
- 4:11Speaker 2: much polarization, there is a big move for the Democratic
- 4:15Speaker 2: Party and Democratic candidates to go hard left, and I
- 4:19Speaker 2: think that's not good for us some moderate you know,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'm somewhere in the middle, and so I don't like
- 4:25Speaker 2: either side when you talk about the polarization. But what
- 4:30Speaker 2: you don't hear is on the Democratic side saying that
- 4:34Speaker 2: if a Republican wins the election, it is a fixed election.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It is a rigged election. Democrats actually, well, they bide
- 4:44Speaker 2: by and they accept elections where Republicans win. Republicans, many
- 4:50Speaker 2: of them don't go the other way. It's fraud. So
- 4:55Speaker 2: let's investigate, and in the case of Chad Bianco, let's
- 4:59Speaker 2: pick up six one thousand ballots, six hundred thousand of
- 5:02Speaker 2: them and start looking at fraudulent activity. By the way,
- 5:08Speaker 2: all of the fraud that was alleged by during the
- 5:12Speaker 2: for example, the Biden Trump where Trump lost the first
- 5:16Speaker 2: time around to Biden, and all the fraud that was committed,
- 5:21Speaker 2: enormous amounts of fraud, overwhelming amounts of fraud. Sixty three
- 5:26Speaker 2: judges throughout every single one of those cases. Was there
- 5:31Speaker 2: one that succeeded. Nope, because there wasn't widespread fraud. I
- 5:37Speaker 2: mean they found you know, you've got a couple of
- 5:39Speaker 2: them here and there, because you have one hundred and
- 5:41Speaker 2: seventy million American voters, so you're going to find something wrong.
- 5:45Speaker 2: But this is widespread fraud, and that's the allegation, and
- 5:49Speaker 2: it just rips me anew and it really does. I mean,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I really have a hard time with that. And I
- 5:54Speaker 2: guarantee you, I guarantee you. If Chad Bianco loses the
- 5:59Speaker 2: race for governor or the first thing he's going to
- 6:01Speaker 2: say before congratulating Newsome, We'll say this was a rigged election.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Okay that's my guess. Okay, I may be wrong. I'm
- 6:11Speaker 2: hoped I'm wrong. Calendar this one, would you, Amy and Neil?
- 6:15Speaker 2: This is what I'm saying before are the general election
- 6:19Speaker 2: in November. Assuming that Bianco makes it on the ballot,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and we don't know at this point whether he does
- 6:26Speaker 2: or doesn't, it's probably going to be a Bessarah and Hilton,
- 6:31Speaker 2: I think is the way it's going to go. And
- 6:33Speaker 2: California is weird because it's not a party system. Where
- 6:39Speaker 2: the Republican and the Democrat go against each other in
- 6:43Speaker 2: the general. It's a two top the two top top vote.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yetters and the Democrats put this up. By the way,
- 6:51Speaker 2: this was a democratic move to make sure that only
- 6:54Speaker 2: Democrats are going to be on the ballot because it
- 6:57Speaker 2: will be the top two and has come home to
- 6:59Speaker 2: bite him in the end. And by the way, the
- 7:03Speaker 2: Democrats deserve that because well, you know, you can argue
- 7:08Speaker 2: that that's rig two to an extent. Okay, I'll go there,
- 7:12Speaker 2: I'll go there, But the election is not rigged.
- 7:18Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:20Speaker 2: There is a story I want to share with you
- 7:23Speaker 2: about a community that's tearing itself apart.
- 7:25Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:25Speaker 2: That happens a lot. But what makes this a fun story.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's a luxury survivalist community. Survivalists are basically nuts. They
- 7:37Speaker 2: know the end of the world is coming, Armageddon is coming,
- 7:40Speaker 2: and they want to be around after, for example, the
- 7:44Speaker 2: bomb drops or riots take over the world, and they're
- 7:48Speaker 2: going to sit there and hunker down in these bunkers
- 7:51Speaker 2: and have plenty of weapons and have plenty of food
- 7:54Speaker 2: and they're going to survive.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Okay, so there's one survivalist community.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Actually, they tout themselves as the biggest and richest out there,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and the residents signed a ninety nine year lease and
- 8:09Speaker 2: there is an hoa and it hasn't been easy. There
- 8:15Speaker 2: is a class action lawsuit proposed that is seeking refunds
- 8:20Speaker 2: for more than one hundred of these tenants, alleging that
- 8:24Speaker 2: the developer violated state law. And of course the company says,
- 8:28Speaker 2: we didn't do anything wrong. Now, if you go there,
- 8:30Speaker 2: it's in South Dakota on what a shaker, row upon
- 8:34Speaker 2: row of these concrete bunkers with steel blast doores in
- 8:39Speaker 2: this grasslands area, five hundred and seventy five of them,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and they're clustered on a former munitions depot near South
- 8:48Speaker 2: Dakota's Black Hills. And it is the largest. That's how
- 8:51Speaker 2: it's built, the largest survival community on Earth.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And here's the pitch.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Ride out the nuclear war, the next pandemic, societal lapse,
- 9:00Speaker 2: and you'll be safe. Well, let me be safe. But man,
- 9:04Speaker 2: it's this dream sour. Here's the problem. There are lawsuits
- 9:09Speaker 2: all over the place over septic systems, property taxes, off
- 9:13Speaker 2: leash dogs.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Growing list of community rules.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And you know what I can understand that, you know,
- 9:22Speaker 2: I get really angry at my HOA. But the problem
- 9:26Speaker 2: is is that this HOA is changing terms mid midterm,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and by the way, they can, they can. And there's
- 9:35Speaker 2: a retired locomotive engineer in a little town nearby said,
- 9:40Speaker 2: you get that many people with the same mentality in
- 9:43Speaker 2: a small place, they're going to cross each other. It's
- 9:46Speaker 2: known as vivos X point and the brainchild of this guy,
- 9:51Speaker 2: Robert Vinceno, a LA based entrepreneur, had a vision in
- 9:55Speaker 2: nineteen eighty, let me build a large underground ructure to
- 10:01Speaker 2: protect a thousand people from coming from this life extinction
- 10:06Speaker 2: event is coming. And he began working with local wrenchers
- 10:10Speaker 2: to convote convert the South Dakota property far from known
- 10:15Speaker 2: nuclear targets and high crime anarchy rome zones cities because
- 10:22Speaker 2: it's for like minded survivalists to ride out the event. Okay,
- 10:29Speaker 2: crazy ninety nine year leases on the shelters fifty dollars
- 10:35Speaker 2: fifty five thousand dollars upfront plus annual ground rent and
- 10:39Speaker 2: service fees HOA fees, and you can build out the
- 10:43Speaker 2: ross space yourself or hire his contractors. And he touts
- 10:47Speaker 2: five stars survival luxury and comfort bill.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Have you watched Fallout?
- 10:56Speaker 1: No is that what this is about kinda.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I mean, they are in these bunkers because something happens
- 11:02Speaker 3: up up on the up world, you know. But they've
- 11:05Speaker 3: been in these bunkers for years and years, and they're
- 11:08Speaker 3: all they're pretty privileged, I think. I mean, they had
- 11:13Speaker 3: chosen for few who got to go. And then of
- 11:15Speaker 3: course there's paradise where they're living their lives in a
- 11:18Speaker 3: bunker because of a catastrophic event on the surface. Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of it's a lot of conspiracy
- 11:23Speaker 2: stuff going on. And I was talking my friend, my partner, Saville.
- 11:29Speaker 2: We had a meeting, a business meeting, and one of
- 11:32Speaker 2: our distributors is a survivalist and he so and he
- 11:38Speaker 2: has a lot of gold because it's legitimate when things
- 11:41Speaker 2: go south. Gold is something you know, is a real currency.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And I asked him because knowing that he I had gold,
- 11:50Speaker 2: and I said, so are you continuing to buy gold?
- 11:54Speaker 2: And he said, nope, I'm done with that, No more
- 11:58Speaker 2: currency for me. And I'm looking at him and I go, really, so,
- 12:04Speaker 2: what do you think is going to happen? You know,
- 12:06Speaker 2: when the big one comes and out you go on
- 12:09Speaker 2: the ground. You know, how are you going to buy anything.
- 12:12Speaker 2: How are you going to be able to get anything?
- 12:14Speaker 2: And he looked at me with half a smile and
- 12:17Speaker 2: a glint in his eye, and he said, ammunition. Ammunition
- 12:24Speaker 2: is going to be the currency. And I looked at
- 12:27Speaker 2: him and I saw crazy, is what I did. So
- 12:33Speaker 2: I didn't know that there really was five hundred and
- 12:37Speaker 2: fifty of these shelters.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And you live in this bunker. I mean, would you
- 12:41Speaker 1: live in a bunker? There are no windows.
- 12:44Speaker 2: You're sitting in this underground facility, and there are people
- 12:49Speaker 2: that do that for months at a time, sort of
- 12:51Speaker 2: use it as a vacation home.
- 12:52Speaker 1: There's your vacation. Instead of going to the beach.
- 12:55Speaker 2: You're going to resort, You're going in an underground bunker
- 12:59Speaker 2: in a concrete room. You know.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And what are you gonna do after the big one comes? Okay?
- 13:06Speaker 2: You know, I don't want to be around I really
- 13:09Speaker 2: don't if the only people are survivalists.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Oh God help us. All right, we're done now.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Axios is reporting that the USC and Iran have reached
- 13:22Speaker 2: a deal, but need the President's final approval.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And based on what the.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Iranians are demanding and what the president is demanding, I
- 13:33Speaker 2: don't know how a deal is reached, because they're pretty
- 13:36Speaker 2: far apart, and we'll, of course, as soon as we
- 13:40Speaker 2: get some information, we'll go through it. In the meantime,
- 13:44Speaker 2: there is a story I want to share with you
- 13:47Speaker 2: about an organization called the Valley Bureau Foundation. It's an
- 13:52Speaker 2: LAPD affiliated nonprofit that donates money to the police department.
- 13:58Speaker 2: And man, you donate money, do you get some perks?
- 14:03Speaker 2: For example, cruising around the city in porsches with high
- 14:07Speaker 2: ranking police officers. Well, that one was canceled a little
- 14:10Speaker 2: bit too much. But modernizing the department's computer systems, outfitting
- 14:16Speaker 2: officers with body cameras, purchases of new drones have been
- 14:20Speaker 2: paid through charitable foundations, and that is what happens and foundations,
- 14:26Speaker 2: and they're kind of neat because the police department is well,
- 14:31Speaker 2: is it underfunded?
- 14:33Speaker 1: Yeah, for the most part.
- 14:34Speaker 2: It is always struggling to see how many police officers
- 14:38Speaker 2: are on the streets. We should have about ninety five
- 14:42Speaker 2: hundred or ten thousand, we're going to have probably eighty
- 14:45Speaker 2: eight hundred. And you've got maintenance, which is always a problem.
- 14:50Speaker 2: The helicopters, the cars, the trucks, those portable command centers
- 14:56Speaker 2: and so what ends up happening is that these foundations,
- 15:00Speaker 2: and there are about four one hundred of them around
- 15:03Speaker 2: the country, with the LA one being by far the
- 15:08Speaker 2: biggest because most of the donations are pretty small because
- 15:14Speaker 2: a lot of police departments are small. Well, not this one,
- 15:18Speaker 2: not this one, this one, LAPD Bureau. The foundation goes.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Money goes to modernizing the aging computer systems, by the way,
- 15:29Speaker 2: because there's no money in the system outfitting officers with bodycams.
- 15:33Speaker 2: When bodycams first started and the police department didn't have
- 15:37Speaker 2: the money, it was the foundation they came up with
- 15:39Speaker 2: the money for testing those. There is a professor at
- 15:44Speaker 2: the University of Windsor in Canada who studies police foundations.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It's always someone who studies this weird stuff and said
- 15:51Speaker 2: that these foundations have gained tons of influence because cities
- 15:55Speaker 2: are dealing with economic challenges and now a lot of it,
- 16:00Speaker 2: people say is pretty legitimate goes towards fostering community relations,
- 16:04Speaker 2: morale boosting efforts. For example, the LAPD one, they put
- 16:10Speaker 2: a sound system at the training facility which LA did
- 16:14Speaker 2: not put up. And often private police funding pace for
- 16:19Speaker 2: militarized equipment K nine units armored vehicles for example, and
- 16:25Speaker 2: most neighborhood police stations now have their own dedicated mooster
- 16:29Speaker 2: organizations and charitable funds helped maintain the fleet of helicopters
- 16:35Speaker 2: in LA support spouses and children.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Of slain officers. And of course no one's going to
- 16:41Speaker 1: argue that.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But I'll tell you what really got the people a
- 16:45Speaker 2: little bit upset on this one is that there was
- 16:51Speaker 2: a September eleventh meeting of last year, and according to
- 16:55Speaker 2: the minutes the Valley Bureau Foundation, this one just for
- 16:58Speaker 2: the San Frando Valley. Organizers lined up senior police officials
- 17:03Speaker 2: to ride in lead cars and they were going to
- 17:08Speaker 2: take big donors with them, and they were going to
- 17:12Speaker 2: be twenty motorcycle officers to clear traffic along the route.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Oops.
- 17:20Speaker 2: That one got people even within the foundation going that
- 17:25Speaker 2: is just a little bit too far. Yeah, the car
- 17:29Speaker 2: rally was going to take place, and then you had
- 17:31Speaker 2: three people in the foundation saying absolutely not. The argument
- 17:36Speaker 2: that the foundation uses is that they buy equipment laptops, monitors,
- 17:44Speaker 2: wireless printers where there is money in the budget for
- 17:47Speaker 2: the command post in which they have, and that reduces
- 17:50Speaker 2: the burden on taxpayers.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Fine, no one's going to argue in that. I think
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's terrific. But here's what ends up happening.
- 17:58Speaker 2: If you are a donator, Oh man, do you get
- 18:02Speaker 2: some perks?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Do you get perks?
- 18:05Speaker 2: For example, if you're looking for a concealed weapons permit
- 18:10Speaker 2: that's fast tracked. I'm assuming and there's no indication of
- 18:16Speaker 2: that at all. So I'm just no evidence at all
- 18:19Speaker 2: of this. But I assuming traffic tickets you have an
- 18:22Speaker 2: easier time with. Certainly you're on the good side of
- 18:28Speaker 2: the cops. Now, personal experience with a police officer, I
- 18:34Speaker 2: am known being very pro police officer. I am very
- 18:39Speaker 2: pro cop and I've been known for that by the
- 18:43Speaker 2: police department. And so one day I was caught blowing
- 18:48Speaker 2: through a stop sign, and of course the light went
- 18:52Speaker 2: on and I got pulled over and the cops stops
- 18:56Speaker 2: me driver's license and he said, you know what you
- 18:59Speaker 2: did to go? Yeah, yeah, I blew through the stop sign.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I mean you got me, there's no question about it.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And he looked at my driver's license and he recognized it,
- 19:09Speaker 2: and he said, just be careful driving, don't do this again. Now,
- 19:15Speaker 2: when's the last time you blew through a stop sign
- 19:18Speaker 2: and a cop got your driver's license and said, don't
- 19:22Speaker 2: worry about it. Why because that's a perk that I
- 19:27Speaker 2: have gotten Since then, I've gotten plenty of tickets. By
- 19:29Speaker 2: the way, that happened only once. But the point is,
- 19:32Speaker 2: if you're connected, you get some perks. You're basically you're
- 19:38Speaker 2: treated differently. So if you're a big donator, donator to
- 19:44Speaker 2: these foundations, you get brakes. Now is it stop? Yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 2: you're not going to get an escort of twenty cops
- 19:55Speaker 2: from one place to another. Okay, that's where the line
- 19:58Speaker 2: was drawn. Hey, I want to share with you a
- 20:00Speaker 2: story about something called inheritance bullying, and that's coming up,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and man, it is ripping apart families.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Now.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Inheritance fights you really think happen only after someone dies.
- 20:14Speaker 2: You know, you got a will a siblings feel slighted,
- 20:18Speaker 2: a family home becomes the center of a dispute. But
- 20:21Speaker 2: here's what's going on is you got kids who are
- 20:25Speaker 2: asking parents for an advance on their inheritance. Why, Well,
- 20:34Speaker 2: because you know, mom and dad are old, they're easy,
- 20:39Speaker 2: they're very vulnerable, they don't.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Need the money. And here you are.
- 20:43Speaker 2: You can't buy a house, you have a hard time
- 20:45Speaker 2: getting a job. Gee, why don't you help me now
- 20:49Speaker 2: instead of after you're dead. And here is the problem
- 20:53Speaker 2: with that. First of all, you help who. Let's say
- 20:57Speaker 2: you have two siblings, three siblings, one or two or
- 20:59Speaker 2: doing great, and the one really needs an inheritance, really
- 21:03Speaker 2: needs the money now. Also, the vulnerability of older people.
- 21:09Speaker 2: For example, if one sibling is taking care of mom
- 21:12Speaker 2: and dad, or mom or dad in a home, well,
- 21:15Speaker 2: you have the ability. They have the ability to stop
- 21:19Speaker 2: visitors if if they're controlling bank accounts, they have the
- 21:24Speaker 2: ability to do a whole lot of damage.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And this has become a big deal.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You know why, because the wealth today of the old
- 21:35Speaker 2: elderly people is in homes, it's in real estate. And
- 21:39Speaker 2: they are not sophisticated people because they're not business people.
- 21:42Speaker 2: They're just sort of regular people that bought a house
- 21:44Speaker 2: thirty years ago and now they're incredibly wealthy relative to
- 21:49Speaker 2: what the kids are. So this is what the kids
- 21:52Speaker 2: are doing, very very Is it unfair? Yeah, And it's horrible,
- 21:59Speaker 2: is what it is. It is disgusting. And so what
- 22:04Speaker 2: do you do. Well, if you're another sibling, you want
- 22:08Speaker 2: to watch out, You want to take care that mom
- 22:11Speaker 2: and dad are protected. I get questions like this constantly
- 22:16Speaker 2: on handle on the law. And one of my favorite
- 22:20Speaker 2: questions about mom or dad dying is, let's say you
- 22:26Speaker 2: have a child that has taken care of mom and
- 22:28Speaker 2: dad forever, you know, put them in assisted living, helping
- 22:32Speaker 2: them out with their living situation, writing their bank accounts,
- 22:36Speaker 2: and all of a sudden you have a death, for example,
- 22:39Speaker 2: and some sibling.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Out there comes out of the woodwork and says, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: want half of this, or I'm making a claim.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Or here's one recently is there was a daughter and
- 22:54Speaker 2: the mom was the only one left and mom died,
- 22:57Speaker 2: and so the daughter had mom made it, and there
- 23:01Speaker 2: she was with a box of mom's ashes, and another
- 23:06Speaker 2: daughter who she she hadn't even heard of, or she
- 23:10Speaker 2: hadn't heard from twenty years, comes back and says, I
- 23:14Speaker 2: want half the ashes of mom.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You know what do I do? Do I go to court?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Can I go to court?
- 23:24Speaker 2: And the answer I give is do you have a
- 23:27Speaker 2: fireplace at home? I thought that was pretty good. That's
- 23:36Speaker 2: a good handle on the law of answer. So my kids, oh,
- 23:41Speaker 2: this happens. When one of my daughters came up to
- 23:44Speaker 2: me a couple of years ago, Hey, Dad, do you
- 23:47Speaker 2: think I have an advance on my inheritance. I said,
- 23:51Speaker 2: here's the problem. You're assuming you're gonna get any of it. Okay,
- 23:56Speaker 2: that's a big assumption. And number two, how about no,
- 24:01Speaker 2: you're not going to get an advance. There is no
- 24:03Speaker 2: chance in hell. But then again, here I am, I'm working,
- 24:07Speaker 2: I have most of my facilities, my faculties with me.
- 24:12Speaker 2: What happens when I'm old and crusty and I need
- 24:15Speaker 2: my diapers changed and I become very vulnerable and gee, dad,
- 24:20Speaker 2: you really.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Don't need the money.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Diapers are only so expensive you can buy lots and
- 24:27Speaker 2: lots of them.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a tough one. It's a tough one.
- 24:31Speaker 2: So this inheritance bullying is putting number one, it really
- 24:36Speaker 2: is putting family homes and generational wealth at risk big time.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And it's happening more and more. Okay, done with that
- 24:46Speaker 1: coming up?
- 24:48Speaker 2: Permanent daylight savings, our daylight savings time, I want to
- 24:53Speaker 2: talk about that because that comes up every year.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Does it make sense?
- 24:57Speaker 2: No?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yes, maybe kind of sort of. This is KF I
