- 0:32Speaker 2: Larry June Man, shout out, bro Man.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I do feel like you have been
- 0:38Speaker 3: like such a powerhouse in hip hop for so long,
- 0:43Speaker 3: especially when it comes to just like doing it the
- 0:46Speaker 3: Texas way independent, you know what I'm saying, And it
- 0:49Speaker 3: feels like the last like two or three years, you finally,
- 0:52Speaker 3: for whatever reason, just started to kind of get your flowers.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I think I just saw you on Joe Rogan. So
- 0:57Speaker 3: if I feel if someone's on Joe Rogan, it's biggest
- 0:59Speaker 3: play form in the world.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It was my brother, man.
- 1:03Speaker 3: But do you feel that, like, do you feel like
- 1:05Speaker 3: finally like you've always had your respect within hip hop?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Youvice had your respect within obviously the host South Trade
- 1:11Speaker 3: has been just a movie for how many years? A decade? Yeah,
- 1:15Speaker 3: But do you feel like recently you finally kind of
- 1:18Speaker 3: started to get recognized from like more of the gatekeepers,
- 1:22Speaker 3: more of like the You had a pretty uphill battle,
- 1:25Speaker 3: you know, especially coming out.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Of and I'm still having that battle, but I thank
- 1:30Speaker 2: god just he opened in the lane for me. But
- 1:34Speaker 2: I think he doing it at his pace. So how
- 1:38Speaker 2: big I'm gonna get? I haven't got there yet, but
- 1:42Speaker 2: I'm on the uphill climb still right now, and he,
- 1:45Speaker 2: you know, he's doing different things to let me know
- 1:47Speaker 2: that it's not a point of giving up.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It's not option.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Just little things happen that keep you going, Like, you
- 1:52Speaker 3: know what, I'm on the right mission, like I gotta
- 1:53Speaker 3: keep going.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, man, you know it's just all kind of
- 1:58Speaker 2: crazy things happening left and right in a good way.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 1: So I'm grateful. Man.
- 2:05Speaker 3: How did you end up on the Rogan podcast?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Like?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Like, who connected that? Oh? He's had Jay Prince on,
- 2:10Speaker 3: He's at Willie Dion. He's I mean, obviously he's a
- 2:12Speaker 3: hip hop guy.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Joe Joe's you know, that's family. That's like
- 2:16Speaker 2: my brother. But you know, I'm tied in with the UFC,
- 2:19Speaker 2: so you know, Dana's my that Me and Dana White
- 2:22Speaker 2: real close and just the whole staff.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Oh, you guys talked about that too, like the what's
- 2:26Speaker 3: the big the big Fighter.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm not a yeah, the Beast.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You guys had him, you know, uh yeah, the Beast,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Dustin Ployer, Kevin Holland. It's so it's so many of
- 2:39Speaker 2: them tied into. But you know, I have an actual
- 2:41Speaker 2: licensed deal with UFC because you know, we have UFC
- 2:44Speaker 2: bump boxes.
- 2:45Speaker 3: You listen, you got everything bump boxes. People win the
- 2:49Speaker 3: Super Bowl, they got a bump box. Deebo Samuels running
- 2:52Speaker 3: around with a bump box. Everybody's listen. If people don't understand,
- 2:57Speaker 3: and I am not being paid to say, it's not
- 2:59Speaker 3: because you're here. I tell this to people all of
- 3:01Speaker 3: the time. Do not waste your fucking money on any
- 3:05Speaker 3: of these three four five hundred dollars bullshit bluetooth speakers.
- 3:12Speaker 3: The bump box is crazy.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It is crazy, and we man, you know, we just
- 3:17Speaker 2: released a new version, which is the remix that looked
- 3:20Speaker 2: like the cassette tape.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you just showed me. It looks crazy. I think
- 3:24Speaker 3: the one I have is called a Flair eight. Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we still got all those we got, we
- 3:29Speaker 2: got the we got so many different ones. You know,
- 3:33Speaker 2: we did the deal with the Gronkowskis. So we got
- 3:35Speaker 2: shaker cups that got the speakers on them now too,
- 3:38Speaker 2: like a cup, yeah, the shaker cups. Yeah, yeah, you
- 3:43Speaker 2: know our headphones coming.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You're familiar with a corn hole is yeah corner.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know any coin hole that has a
- 3:51Speaker 2: speaker on it, we own the rights to it. So
- 3:53Speaker 2: we had a new corn hole bump boxes.
- 3:56Speaker 3: So one of my best friends is best friend Will
- 4:00Speaker 3: he is. One of his best friends is the guy
- 4:01Speaker 3: from Swat, the beautiful baldheaded man. What's his name? You know?
- 4:05Speaker 3: His name Samar Moore, And he's a part of the
- 4:09Speaker 3: Cornhole League.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't know each other, but I find them
- 4:15Speaker 2: and make sure we get So.
- 4:16Speaker 3: He has like in his backyard ESPN Ocho or whatever.
- 4:20Speaker 3: ESPN number Board broadcast the cornhole competition, but it's ESPN
- 4:25Speaker 3: like he has a whole, like real cornhole like arena
- 4:29Speaker 3: in his backyard.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You know somebody who knows. Yeah, so put me with him.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, cornble shit is booming right now. You need
- 4:40Speaker 3: to get a hold of you know what else is
- 4:41Speaker 3: popping right now that everybody's doing. And I don't know why,
- 4:43Speaker 3: but have you heard of pickleball? Pickleball is like the
- 4:47Speaker 3: new fucking way, Like overweight dudes who like don't want
- 4:50Speaker 3: to work out work out because they're like, yo, it's
- 4:53Speaker 3: fun and I burned calories. But it's not like you know,
- 4:57Speaker 3: running in place pickleball that I just know there's a
- 5:02Speaker 3: paddle and I know that there's a rapper who owns
- 5:06Speaker 3: a team. Yeah, oh, Katie is a part owner of
- 5:13Speaker 3: the team in New York. There's a pickleball league that
- 5:17Speaker 3: just started, and Kevin Durant I think is one of
- 5:20Speaker 3: the owners. I know he is one of the owners.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Of the Oh yeah, bro, Katie.
- 5:24Speaker 3: You got to get locked in. I wonder, like you
- 5:27Speaker 3: always hear about the Joe Rogan Spike. You go on
- 5:29Speaker 3: the show, do you see spikes and analytics followers, music
- 5:32Speaker 3: goes up, everything goes up or.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I haven't even I ain't really paid attention because I've
- 5:37Speaker 1: been moving on.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Now you've been moving on. Stop You're an album mote.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But what I will say is.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Different people ain't who ain't necessarily familiar with my music
- 5:47Speaker 2: and other stuff. When they see me, they're like, man,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I just seen you on Joe Rogan podcast. Yeah, you
- 5:51Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So definitely a blessing. But I
- 5:55Speaker 2: know one time Joe posted the bump box and I
- 5:57Speaker 2: know that day alone.
- 5:59Speaker 3: With something crazy numbers sold.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure, Man.
- 6:04Speaker 3: That shi it's dope. Congrats on. Has anybody try to
- 6:07Speaker 3: come and buy you guys out yet, like a bigger company.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You know they have, But we work so much now,
- 6:13Speaker 2: like yeah, and if we do, it's gonna have to
- 6:17Speaker 2: make sense, Like.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It's gonna have to be like Apple or something crazy.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd have to be something crazy, and I will
- 6:22Speaker 2: still be tied into it.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you bets we built that from here. You guys
- 6:26Speaker 3: have sweat equity, but you also have like personal equity
- 6:28Speaker 3: into the company.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Do you guys still have the store in Riverside there
- 6:33Speaker 3: was that you guys had, like a flagship store.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not I'm not sure because you know we had.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Of course, we have to one in Houston in the gallery,
- 6:39Speaker 2: but it got to the point we don't even need
- 6:42Speaker 2: the stores, Like it's just on the line so crazy.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You know why I have the brick and mortar if
- 6:46Speaker 3: you don't need it.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was dope to too, do you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: just to be able to do that. But right now
- 6:54Speaker 2: it's just it's going like if you look at the
- 6:56Speaker 2: Barbie movie in.
- 6:57Speaker 3: There, yeah I saw that.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so we just were a little bit of everywhere.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Man, did you think like obviously you believed in bump Box,
- 7:05Speaker 3: But it's crazy because it's true. Like I remember, I
- 7:08Speaker 3: used to always just associate bump Box with you because
- 7:12Speaker 3: that's how I found out about it, right, But it's
- 7:14Speaker 3: transcended it and it's so like you said, it's in
- 7:17Speaker 3: the biggest movie ever. Yeah, yeah, Like did you ever
- 7:20Speaker 3: have any idea we get this big?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Honestly?
- 7:22Speaker 3: No?
- 7:23Speaker 2: You know, it's still it's still excitement there that that
- 7:27Speaker 2: we're growing. Like when my you know, we had the
- 7:30Speaker 2: headphones the waves that came out, and now we got
- 7:33Speaker 2: the the in ear headphones that's about to drop.
- 7:35Speaker 3: To Hey, whatever headphone company you were involved with, I
- 7:38Speaker 3: still have those headphones that was with us, that was them, Okay,
- 7:41Speaker 3: I still have us, but now we got the ones
- 7:43Speaker 3: ok and they wireless.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah everything. Oh yeah, you guys, we're gonna crush it
- 7:50Speaker 1: for sure. Uh.
- 7:52Speaker 2: We got some called slapstick too, and like you can
- 7:58Speaker 2: put it on anything metal, a little stick to it
- 8:01Speaker 2: and it's a Bluetooth radio loud as hell, you know
- 8:05Speaker 2: what I'm saying. Like we got almost like a magnet.
- 8:07Speaker 3: You just slap it places like if you're if you're
- 8:10Speaker 3: in the shop, if you're working on cars.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, anything metal. Yeah, it's waterproof, I would say,
- 8:19Speaker 2: for the most part. Yeah, waterproof and yeah, for sure.
- 8:23Speaker 3: What do you got on this new album?
- 8:25Speaker 2: I really didn't do features, man, I have first class
- 8:29Speaker 2: with Larry June. I have uh first class with Larry June.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I have swear I'm with t I and my nephew Nico.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But other than that, it's just strictly me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Man. I hate to do this because my daughter, do
- 8:45Speaker 1: you think?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Man?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Hey, truth, I'm doing an interview right now. What's wrong, baby? Okay,
- 8:52Speaker 2: soon as I get done, I'm gonna come get you. Okay,
- 8:55Speaker 2: you heard me?
- 8:57Speaker 3: All right?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Leiah?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Your daughter lives out here.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she just moved. She and she in
- 9:05Speaker 1: Vegas now.
- 9:06Speaker 3: But yeah, she's saving tax money, you know.
- 9:09Speaker 2: She here. Actually she here Now, I just flew it
- 9:10Speaker 2: here because you know, you don't have to worry about that
- 9:12Speaker 2: in Texas. Yeah, you know, she a Texas baby. She
- 9:15Speaker 2: was boring though, said yeah, yeah, my nephew Nico. Other
- 9:21Speaker 2: than that is strictly me. I wanted this tape. This
- 9:25Speaker 2: tape is just kind of like the the reintro to
- 9:28Speaker 2: me because you got to realize, for years, I ain't
- 9:30Speaker 2: really been able to just put out consistent music on
- 9:33Speaker 2: album because you may have somebody getting killed by police,
- 9:39Speaker 2: or you may have a natural disaster, and you know,
- 9:42Speaker 2: when it comes to that, unfocused on the people, you
- 9:44Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So I wasn't able. So this
- 9:47Speaker 2: is the first one to kind of get me back.
- 9:50Speaker 2: And okay, he's still on it, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Because now when I'm moving around, I got so many
- 9:56Speaker 2: relationships people overly excited, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Like, and also a lot of people are there's a
- 10:02Speaker 3: whole new wave of people who associate who don't really
- 10:04Speaker 3: associate you with being a rapper right right that they
- 10:07Speaker 3: look at you as a businessman. They look at you
- 10:09Speaker 3: as somebody who gives back, who's helping people during the hurricane,
- 10:12Speaker 3: somebody who's you know, just tied in in so many
- 10:15Speaker 3: different ways culturally that it's like, hey, also, I do
- 10:17Speaker 3: this at a high.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Level, right so now on this album, I wanted it
- 10:21Speaker 2: to be just more than me, just a good vibe,
- 10:24Speaker 2: nothing crazy, just straight good vibe music that people can
- 10:29Speaker 2: relate to them from all walks of life, all dramas,
- 10:32Speaker 2: you know, our a's brackets. And after that then I'm
- 10:35Speaker 2: gonna come in and start putting press on.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I want to know how because right now two of
- 10:42Speaker 3: the most hottest rappers period are from your region. D
- 10:47Speaker 3: Baby in that Mexican O t.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, both of them doing, both of them.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Are doing their thing. I wanna say, how much are
- 10:51Speaker 3: you kind of paying attention to like what they're doing?
- 10:54Speaker 3: Because man, OT just saw that a show in LA
- 10:56Speaker 3: He just finished his first headline of tour, and so
- 11:00Speaker 3: you know.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I'm definitely familiar with them.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 11:03Speaker 1: You know, I always.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Embraced people early before the stuff start really jumping off.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So it was always love.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Man.
- 11:12Speaker 2: You know, I'm one of the people man I salute, congratulate,
- 11:15Speaker 2: you know, just really I stand behind just our city anyway, especially,
- 11:19Speaker 2: you know, I love watching some of the younger generation
- 11:23Speaker 2: go to do their thing. You know what I'm saying,
- 11:25Speaker 2: have they shot? Because everybody had they shot. It's no
- 11:28Speaker 2: point of watching certain people haget like, yeah, the blossom
- 11:32Speaker 2: for the next So it's them. You know, I'm gonna
- 11:35Speaker 2: be introducing the world to the Rejects, which is a
- 11:40Speaker 2: bunch of street cats from the city. They have their
- 11:43Speaker 2: own fan base that make authentic music that I feel
- 11:47Speaker 2: need to be shown to the world and displayed. So
- 11:50Speaker 2: the Rejects coming, and of course you know that's me.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You have Big Tony, Calwayne Ski Taste, Jack Boy, thirty Ways,
- 12:04Speaker 2: Larid of Savage, Million Bucks, h Fast Money, trying not
- 12:14Speaker 2: to forget anybody. I bet my mim be so so
- 12:19Speaker 2: all over man. But definitely gotta check file them. That
- 12:23Speaker 2: tape gonna be something because I'm.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I have to say that sounds that sounds like a
- 12:28Speaker 3: massive like that sounds like more like a collective like
- 12:30Speaker 3: Wu Tang Clan kind of Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's definitely. It's definitely interesting.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Man.
- 12:35Speaker 2: They first single gonna come out called Detention, and it
- 12:38Speaker 2: may release real soon. You know what I'm saying there,
- 12:41Speaker 2: that got the visual shot for that. I mean we
- 12:45Speaker 2: just jack boy. Yeah, we just were working man, everybody
- 12:48Speaker 2: doing their thing.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah. I think it's refreshing too, because I do feel
- 12:51Speaker 3: like no matter like you know, we always think of
- 12:54Speaker 3: like the puke he the peak h Town kind of
- 12:57Speaker 3: like you know, oh five three h four, you know,
- 13:01Speaker 3: Mike Jones, Paul Walls, Switcher House, Slim Thug Yourself. What
- 13:08Speaker 3: I like about the new ship I'm hearing is it
- 13:10Speaker 3: sounds very Texas. And obviously Travis has put out a
- 13:14Speaker 3: lot of records that sound very Texas and paid a
- 13:16Speaker 3: lot of homage to Age Town. But I feel like
- 13:19Speaker 3: it's it's just dope to kind of see like these
- 13:21Speaker 3: dudes making like unapologetic Texas music. And it worked on
- 13:25Speaker 3: like a big level too.
- 13:26Speaker 2: So the reason it works, right, Texas support is Texas support.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You never even really gotta leave.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Texas, right, So it's right if anyone's ever driven through Texas,
- 13:39Speaker 3: it's crazy. Yeah, definitely, it never ends.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so you got you got that.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And when you have that and the foundation built around it,
- 13:51Speaker 2: it trickles in the other markets and you know they
- 13:54Speaker 2: try and feel like, oh well, what's that, what's what's
- 13:57Speaker 2: what's that?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Child jam?
- 13:59Speaker 2: And then they get on, then they go put their
- 14:00Speaker 2: people on it. So it works. Man, there's nothing wrong
- 14:04Speaker 2: with stamp true to your roots.
- 14:05Speaker 3: You know.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So a lot of times people trying to do other
- 14:07Speaker 2: stuff to get in and fit in, and it's like
- 14:12Speaker 2: if you had just held up a little longer your time,
- 14:14Speaker 2: would it game, because people are gonna get to your way. Everybody,
- 14:18Speaker 2: everybody had their waves. It never feels think about it.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Every market have they time.
- 14:23Speaker 3: I look at a guy like you know, even like
- 14:27Speaker 3: you know, shout outs, like a guy like payso Pays
- 14:29Speaker 3: and and and those guys like Suce Waka, I feel
- 14:32Speaker 3: like his wave is like finally kind of connecting on
- 14:35Speaker 3: like a really big level. And he's been kind of
- 14:37Speaker 3: independently like yeah yeah heading the business for so long,
- 14:41Speaker 3: and it feels like he like he had the bet
- 14:43Speaker 3: thing last year, like and it's like, oh, like finally
- 14:45Speaker 3: there's like a national spotlight on what he's been doing
- 14:48Speaker 3: for so long. So I feel like Texas, h town
- 14:50Speaker 3: in general, even Dallas is going crazy. A big extra
- 14:53Speaker 3: plug is incredible. Yeah yeah, So it's just dope to
- 14:56Speaker 3: see Texas have like another just new.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It's naturally man, from Houston to Dallas state. It's just
- 15:02Speaker 2: naturally hustlers.
- 15:04Speaker 3: You know.
- 15:05Speaker 2: We definitely had a hustler's mentality that we come from
- 15:08Speaker 2: where we used to slang stuff out the Trump on
- 15:11Speaker 2: the regular.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You know.
- 15:12Speaker 2: And and also with the hustling mentality, is we not
- 15:17Speaker 2: necessarily take a no for answer. We're gonna find a
- 15:19Speaker 2: way to get in and fit in however we can.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And when I say we, I'm speaking just for the
- 15:24Speaker 2: Texas culture in general.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Sure.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So Yeah, when you stay consistently and you do things
- 15:29Speaker 2: like that, it's definitely going to hit people radars. And
- 15:32Speaker 2: then when they hit their radars, you know, you take
- 15:34Speaker 2: it and you you magnified and grow it and blew
- 15:37Speaker 2: it up.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I always wondered, you've done so much for your city.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I feel like when people think of your city, you're
- 15:45Speaker 3: synonymous with it. At this point, you're a community leader
- 15:48Speaker 3: at this point. Did you ever get unbanned from the
- 15:51Speaker 3: box in Houston?
- 15:53Speaker 2: So it's crazy you say in Houston, rubband band? I
- 15:56Speaker 2: was never just banned in Houston. It was Radio one, Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: worldwide still that way, Radio one the company there's still
- 16:02Speaker 2: to trade the Truth band?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah? Wow? Well bro, was there ever any has there
- 16:08Speaker 3: been any sort I mean, look, that was like what
- 16:09Speaker 3: over ten years ago? Right, Like that was so long ago,
- 16:11Speaker 3: might have been longer than fourteen years. Yeah, it's been
- 16:13Speaker 3: so long. Like you would think people grow people.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I definitely grown. Mean, I haven't thought about it.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I don't.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I don't speak on them, I don't, right, I just
- 16:22Speaker 2: keep it moving, you know. I found my lane and
- 16:24Speaker 2: it works.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah. And you know, you're also not an artist that
- 16:27Speaker 3: necessarily needs radio to be successful, like.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Right, you know, and that's another reason when I take
- 16:31Speaker 2: time to salute a lot of the younger artists coming up,
- 16:35Speaker 2: they created way as well. Radio isn't necessarily even needed
- 16:39Speaker 2: anymore for you to chart, for you, the tool for
- 16:43Speaker 2: you to monetize, you know what I'm saying, for your
- 16:45Speaker 2: family right right. So definitely it's a blessing. I've I've
- 16:52Speaker 2: seen a lot of people come and go, and I'm
- 16:53Speaker 2: still here. And then when you think when I actually
- 16:56Speaker 2: did have radio, I wouldn't nowhere as big as I.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Now, that's just a real ship. That's some real ship. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 3: that's true, Yo. When you do you ever look back
- 17:06Speaker 3: at like you know, I was, I was just talking
- 17:09Speaker 3: with my boy Amir about kind of like the peak
- 17:12Speaker 3: grand Hustle days. Shout to Dreux and obviously yourself and
- 17:18Speaker 3: Bob was in the mix, and Iggy as Elliott was
- 17:21Speaker 3: in the mix. Travis Travis was in the mix. It
- 17:24Speaker 3: was just such a crazy like.
- 17:26Speaker 1: R P ra rah, you know, Tokyo, there's a lot of.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Us, just a crazy movement. I mean before he got
- 17:33Speaker 3: you know, aired out. I mean, I love the Alphamega. Dude.
- 17:35Speaker 3: He had such a crazy voice. But you ever look
- 17:37Speaker 3: back at those days and just like be like damn,
- 17:39Speaker 3: Like that was like a moment. You know. It feels
- 17:42Speaker 3: like sometimes we live and we're part of history, but
- 17:45Speaker 3: we don't know that we're living in it at the time.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Right And it probably actually if you was actually in it,
- 17:52Speaker 2: you still would never see it the way.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That the outside, like the way the world saw it.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Right, Like for instance, me right ask the music, like
- 18:02Speaker 2: when I come around, whether it be the music or
- 18:04Speaker 2: just for me being on frontline and helping people, people
- 18:07Speaker 2: be amazed to me.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I'm normal as can be. It's just the normal me.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So I don't I don't really realize what I am
- 18:16Speaker 2: to people, you know what I'm saying.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And even when you speak of the Hustle Game.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It was gad everybody talking about hustling, everybody wearing Hustle Gang, closed,
- 18:26Speaker 2: Hustle Gang everything.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying to where.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I think because we were living in it, it's kind
- 18:33Speaker 2: of hard to see what everybody else saw, but we
- 18:36Speaker 2: definitely appreciate it because shit, you know that was at
- 18:40Speaker 2: that time. Everything people was doing was Hustle Gang for sure.
- 18:44Speaker 3: For sure, take back to like was it the BT
- 18:47Speaker 3: Awards with like Drama was DJing and just everybody. It
- 18:50Speaker 3: was just a moment for sure, Man, a moment. That's
- 18:53Speaker 3: why I was. I was also talking about it with Drama.
- 18:54Speaker 3: I was like, bro, how crazy was that?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Shout out to them, you know they're working on a
- 18:58Speaker 2: PSC album right now. Really Pimp Squad Click, Yeah they
- 19:01Speaker 2: they back on. I just left from out there ment.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I just shot the video to the record Swell, and
- 19:07Speaker 2: I was out there for his movie from make Sure
- 19:09Speaker 2: Everybody go check out the Movie Departments. That's something dope
- 19:13Speaker 2: with a bunch of comedians.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I would say, I love to see t I like
- 19:17Speaker 3: pivot and try to just do whatever, Like he's just
- 19:19Speaker 3: doing what he wants at this point, Like if you're
- 19:21Speaker 3: a legend. You could just do what you want.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And I don't even think it's that we do. We
- 19:24Speaker 2: want the thing. We just enjoying life.
- 19:27Speaker 3: That's what I gonna say. Like to me, he's doing
- 19:29Speaker 3: the comedy shit the right way, Like he's like going
- 19:32Speaker 3: to open mics, he's getting on the mic. He's he's
- 19:35Speaker 3: you know, I feel like comedy and hip Hopp's parallels
- 19:38Speaker 3: like you got to start somewhere, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:41Speaker 3: And I feel like he's doing it the right way.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, here's that movie.
- 19:44Speaker 2: The movie came out the apartments, Like what was the
- 19:47Speaker 2: movie with a bunch of comedians back in the day?
- 19:50Speaker 1: Was at Call was?
- 19:51Speaker 3: There was a lot of those movies with a bunch
- 19:54Speaker 3: of big comedians. Don't know about car Wash. I remember
- 19:57Speaker 3: the Wash with Snooping doctor dre Neither somebody way back
- 20:00Speaker 3: then with Richard Pride type. Yeah I was born in
- 20:02Speaker 3: eighty seven.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Well yeah, so yeah, it's definitely one of the ones
- 20:07Speaker 2: that's gonna count this now. Yeah, and it's dope, even
- 20:13Speaker 2: though it's Sun King and that too. But I think
- 20:16Speaker 2: we had a point life, man. We just like that's
- 20:19Speaker 2: the reason why I did this. Alpen Man We're just living. Like,
- 20:22Speaker 2: what's the point of waking up angry every day or
- 20:24Speaker 2: stress or running to the same walls. Man, we just
- 20:28Speaker 2: got to live and enjoy life. Like my movie coming out.
- 20:31Speaker 2: It's a comedy too. You got a movie coming Yeah,
- 20:33Speaker 2: it should drop any day on too. It's called Soul.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That's a two B game because I've I swear to God,
- 20:39Speaker 3: my favorite thing to do is just search up to
- 20:41Speaker 3: be on Twitter and just watch.
- 20:43Speaker 2: It so you know it's two parts. It's two parts
- 20:45Speaker 2: of it, right. You do have the bootleg movie? Great though, Yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 2: but some of that shit is just funny.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I gets hilarious.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I was telling him. I was like, bro, we got
- 20:56Speaker 3: the cameras, like we should shoot like a white trash tube.
- 21:00Speaker 3: It definitely would It definitely would go.
- 21:02Speaker 2: But the other thing people don't realize ship to B
- 21:05Speaker 2: be having better movies than Netflix and the other ship.
- 21:07Speaker 1: They be having real.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a lot off you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 2: So that's the thing people should definitely go because you
- 21:16Speaker 2: know the first thing they do is like what you did?
- 21:18Speaker 2: They go look at it and they're like, man, I'm
- 21:19Speaker 2: never downloaded to.
- 21:20Speaker 3: People who don't know to be's free. So if you
- 21:23Speaker 3: have a smart TV, you're just in the game.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you know, I have partners like Murder Pain,
- 21:29Speaker 2: you know, Chris and a lot of them.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I believe t Muler, a lot of them.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You know, they took to Be to another level because
- 21:39Speaker 2: we didn't get familiar with to be till we start
- 21:40Speaker 2: watching the show McGraw or to a Living or.
- 21:48Speaker 1: What was the other one?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Love.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I know it's a lot of them. They got right
- 21:53Speaker 1: now to be special.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah. And I heard that like they're really good, like
- 21:59Speaker 3: like they pay well.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you can they. I learned about TWOV.
- 22:03Speaker 2: They said it was a man who shot a whole
- 22:04Speaker 2: video on the iPhone. I've seen raying it up, ran
- 22:09Speaker 2: up a bag, ran it up. What are we doing
- 22:14Speaker 2: shoot a movie?
- 22:15Speaker 3: Come on? You mentioned t I. You guys have this
- 22:21Speaker 3: the guy who does these pranks where he.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Says, shout out, shout out White though Mike, I've been following.
- 22:26Speaker 1: We built me and him building, We built the relationship
- 22:29Speaker 1: of this.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I've been following this guy for a long time and
- 22:32Speaker 3: I think he's funny and because he does other stuff
- 22:34Speaker 3: besides just you know that. And by the way, he
- 22:38Speaker 3: does look really white.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but people don't know he's not.
- 22:41Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. I know he's not, but he
- 22:43Speaker 3: looks really like even if somebody took it the wrong
- 22:47Speaker 3: way and he tried to explain like no, no, no, no,
- 22:49Speaker 3: this is what my parents look like, I don't know
- 22:52Speaker 3: if he can get that far. So that prank was real,
- 22:56Speaker 3: Like your guy's reaction was like real, it looked a
- 22:59Speaker 3: little set up.
- 23:00Speaker 2: What I would be honest with you is it's way more.
- 23:06Speaker 2: That happened that day before y'all. I got to see
- 23:08Speaker 2: what y'all see. So we'll leave it at that. Okay, But.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I would just say that you would be like top
- 23:16Speaker 3: five guy, wouldn't prank.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I put it like this, It was.
- 23:20Speaker 2: It was a lot interesting that day and that was
- 23:24Speaker 2: realized that they Yeah, so.
- 23:26Speaker 3: If we just leader at that, yeah, you know, yeah, okay.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Though they might good people though, man, and I you know.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Just I'm just because we've been seeing some some of
- 23:35Speaker 3: these pranksters. Like I don't know, if you saw a
- 23:38Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago someone got shot at the mall.
- 23:40Speaker 3: It's all yeah, it's like, you know, you gotta be careful, man.
- 23:42Speaker 3: People ain't playing around these.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Because you know, like the worst thing I can tell
- 23:46Speaker 2: you now, the worst thing when me would be if
- 23:49Speaker 2: I'm with my kids, it ain't nothing. Nobody gonna be
- 23:51Speaker 2: able to tell me nothing, you know what I'm saying.
- 23:53Speaker 2: It's like so, but I also gave him game too,
- 23:57Speaker 2: you know, like I told him, hey, man, like the Saint,
- 24:00Speaker 2: the always going viral ain't good.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And this isn't like a sustainable, scalable way to do it,
- 24:08Speaker 3: Like do it and have an audience and then then
- 24:13Speaker 3: start doing skits or then make a two by movie
- 24:17Speaker 3: or just start acting dude. You know, I think Drew
- 24:19Speaker 3: Ski has done like such an incredible.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Job of like and his ass is funny. With the ship,
- 24:24Speaker 2: I don't I don't know how he wakes up with
- 24:27Speaker 2: the thought process.
- 24:29Speaker 3: He has the most specific like scenario videos that you
- 24:34Speaker 3: just relate to and you never yeah and you're just like, bro,
- 24:37Speaker 3: like the one with the where he was playing the girls,
- 24:40Speaker 3: like who are security guards at the front desk and
- 24:42Speaker 3: he's like chewing gum and like on the phone.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Just be my homie too.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Man. He's great, but he's done it. He's like building him.
- 24:49Speaker 3: But he's got a sports agency, Like it's really crazy.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I just did.
- 24:55Speaker 2: It was an idea of the skit that just came
- 24:57Speaker 2: out with me and Jack Funny. Definitely a Chicken funny
- 25:00Speaker 2: out man three one three. He's super dope. But you know,
- 25:03Speaker 2: if you really pay attention, I've been in that world
- 25:06Speaker 2: with a lot of comedians already, so I've been doing
- 25:09Speaker 2: I've been doing skits since Buying Days was lit Forest
- 25:14Speaker 2: Chick Talker.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Did you go to the Comedy Mothership in Austin. That's
- 25:20Speaker 3: Jill Roden's clubs.
- 25:22Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no no.
- 25:23Speaker 3: There's some dope comedians out of Texas right now. Ralph Barbosa.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Have you heard of him?
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I just met him. Another one live in Texas.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Is it Matt Rife.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, he's funny, he's lit.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I think the last last time I was in Austin
- 25:39Speaker 2: for comedy was with Dave Chappelle.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so I went to comedy store once. In Hollywood,
- 25:46Speaker 3: I go to comedy Store a lot, but I went
- 25:48Speaker 3: one time and it was one of the times where
- 25:50Speaker 3: they were like, hey, everyone needs to check their phone
- 25:55Speaker 3: because Chappelle's about to practice all his ship tonight with
- 25:59Speaker 3: no Like, you had no idea, so you like pay
- 26:02Speaker 3: for like a you know, twenty five dollars ticket to
- 26:04Speaker 3: just see you know whoever they put on stage and
- 26:07Speaker 3: Dave Chappelle comes out lights of a cigarette. He did
- 26:09Speaker 3: like two hours.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he always you know, he usually ends trade for
- 26:14Speaker 2: me with the comedy show. It's amazing. So yeah, yes,
- 26:16Speaker 2: now that's my brother for real, for real man. And
- 26:20Speaker 2: also it's big for him that like like he uplifts
- 26:23Speaker 2: me like no other like he he'd be proud like
- 26:26Speaker 2: a big brother for just the stuff that I do too,
- 26:29Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, and stuff like that give
- 26:30Speaker 2: you energy to keep going.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I think, like what he does is so inspiring because
- 26:34Speaker 3: he's like the person who walked away from the biggest show,
- 26:41Speaker 3: like the biggest sketch comedy television show ever. I think
- 26:45Speaker 3: he had thirty million dollars on the table and he's like, nah,
- 26:48Speaker 3: this don't feel right. Yeah, one thing, he got it
- 26:50Speaker 3: right back. He stands for what he stands and he
- 26:54Speaker 3: just does what he wants, like if he don't feel like,
- 26:57Speaker 3: if it don't feel good, he ain't gonna fuck with it.
- 26:59Speaker 2: You know.
- 27:00Speaker 3: He definitely more people should move that way.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he's authentic.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Like money like money ain't everything, you know what I'm saying.
- 27:07Speaker 2: You know, in this day and age, for some people,
- 27:10Speaker 2: it is. For people like us, it's not worth jeopardizing
- 27:15Speaker 2: your principles, your mols, and your legacy, you know, because
- 27:19Speaker 2: right now, for people like myself, the legacy is important.
- 27:23Speaker 2: The stuff that I do in a community fighting, that's
- 27:26Speaker 2: all part of my legacy, my story. My kids will
- 27:30Speaker 2: be able to be proud of who they pops.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Was right, right, No, for sure, it's crazy too because
- 27:36Speaker 3: your legacy is like cemented at this point, and you've
- 27:41Speaker 3: kind of gone from like being like a guy if
- 27:44Speaker 3: you really want to, like a Houston or Texas hip
- 27:47Speaker 3: hop fan, you just knew about trade because it was
- 27:49Speaker 3: like the guy in tech who runs Houston. It's like
- 27:51Speaker 3: the guy you don't want to fuck with in Texas,
- 27:53Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. And like, you know, fast
- 27:57Speaker 3: forward fifteen years, you're like very much a community leader.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You're very much like when you think of like you know,
- 28:04Speaker 3: when I think of you and mister Rogers were doing
- 28:06Speaker 3: out there just crazy, just like not a lot of
- 28:11Speaker 3: people would roll their sleeves up and like actually do
- 28:14Speaker 3: the work to like help their neighbors I tell people
- 28:17Speaker 3: or also not just that by the way, like I've
- 28:19Speaker 3: seen you post if some sort of situation happens.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So we do a lot to touch on the stuff
- 28:25Speaker 2: with Rogers, Like people don't really realize the time it's
- 28:29Speaker 2: relief gang, right, Yeah, they don't realize the time and
- 28:31Speaker 2: everything that we went through and dealt with, you know,
- 28:35Speaker 2: from help to family to just we dealt with a
- 28:39Speaker 2: lot trying to do what we could do for everybody,
- 28:42Speaker 2: you know, and that that's the part that that's always
- 28:48Speaker 2: gonna be implanting in both me and him. But you know,
- 28:50Speaker 2: to the rest of the way, they don't really understand.
- 28:52Speaker 2: They only see what we showing that that was only
- 28:55Speaker 2: twenty percent of what we do. You see what I'm saying,
- 28:58Speaker 2: like you got because you're not doing it for We
- 29:01Speaker 2: only doing it when we show it. We show for
- 29:03Speaker 2: awareness because it gets people more help. And it also
- 29:07Speaker 2: plant seed to show people that they can do things
- 29:10Speaker 2: to help people, you know, like everybody think you gotta
- 29:13Speaker 2: be me andaires they help people, and that ain't the case.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Sometimes they ain't take money.
- 29:16Speaker 2: It may take the time or just the ear, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 2: and like nobody seeing a sleeping and cars not being
- 29:24Speaker 2: able to eat for days or or you know, just
- 29:28Speaker 2: different stuff like it's a lot that came with that, man,
- 29:31Speaker 2: but we dedicated to it even to this day.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I'm something happened. I'm one of the ones that's going
- 29:36Speaker 1: from Well, I.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Was gonna say, can you give us like a random example,
- 29:38Speaker 3: because like I've seen it a bunch, Like if there's
- 29:43Speaker 3: a situation where something bad happens to somebody, or you know,
- 29:46Speaker 3: there's an unfortunate thing, like you'll pull together your resources,
- 29:49Speaker 3: you'll post about it. You know. Can you give me
- 29:51Speaker 3: a situation in which you just helped somebody that because
- 29:54Speaker 3: I think some people who don't really necessarily follow you,
- 29:56Speaker 3: they know about what you guys did in the hurricane,
- 29:58Speaker 3: but you guys do stuff all the time for people.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Oh man, it's it's too much to name.

- 32:34Speaker 3: used that promo code boulet try for free for a month.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Let's get back to the interview.
- 32:38Speaker 2: They talked to me earlier about Ms. Martha, which was
- 32:42Speaker 2: the seventy seven year old lady they took the jail,
- 32:44Speaker 2: I mean the later they took the jail for seventy
- 32:47Speaker 2: seven dollars to like eighty somethings level.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I got there for.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Her, started working to rebuild a house, raised of like
- 32:56Speaker 2: forty fifty thousand, done a lot of different for you.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Got that.
- 33:04Speaker 2: The man that they showed me they was trying to
- 33:07Speaker 2: take his land in Texas elder man when out there,
- 33:11Speaker 2: spoke up for him. RP to Homie Canal. I don't
- 33:15Speaker 2: know if you see the dude. He had less than
- 33:18Speaker 2: a few days to live. He was on hospice and
- 33:20Speaker 2: I saw him recently passed away. Yeah, I was one
- 33:23Speaker 2: of the Mexican dude, right yeah, well no, he's Indian.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Oh okay, okay, Yeah, but I saw the food community
- 33:28Speaker 3: pages posted him and he just passed away maybe two
- 33:30Speaker 3: days ago.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Right, so when they reached out, I was one of
- 33:34Speaker 2: his one of his favorite rappers up. I believe his page,
- 33:39Speaker 2: let's we just give it eight or ten thousand followers
- 33:42Speaker 2: and within them, his biggest thing that he wanted was
- 33:46Speaker 2: to be able to get to the people and motivate him,
- 33:48Speaker 2: you know, to show people, even with him knowing his
- 33:52Speaker 2: time was coming, still be grateful.
- 33:55Speaker 3: And just the video that really like was crazy to
- 33:58Speaker 3: see was the I think if there's a video, he
- 34:00Speaker 3: posted it the day before he passed or two days
- 34:03Speaker 3: before he passed, and he was barely hanging out, but
- 34:05Speaker 3: he was still very.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Like yeah, and for me, for me to take him
- 34:09Speaker 2: from to eight or ten thousand people being able to
- 34:14Speaker 2: see who he is to almost two hundred thousand in
- 34:17Speaker 2: the matter a couple of days. Help spread his message.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Man spread his message like no other. You have people
- 34:22Speaker 2: shout out to the rock. You had people everybody from
- 34:25Speaker 2: all across the world reaching out, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:27Speaker 2: So it's just so many different things that I do,
- 34:31Speaker 2: you know, you had, you had the recent hurricanes in
- 34:38Speaker 2: the Mississippis. You know, I'm out the front line with that.
- 34:41Speaker 2: It's just it's so much different stuff that we do,
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yeah for sure. Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Then you know, we still fighting for Breonna Taylor. We
- 34:47Speaker 2: still want justice for that special fuck you to Daniel Cameron,
- 34:51Speaker 2: and you know we still keep it going.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy too because if you think about, like,
- 34:56Speaker 3: you know, some of the activis that came out of
- 35:00Speaker 3: the pandemic, you know, it felt at at a certain
- 35:05Speaker 3: point in time like it was just trendy some people.
- 35:09Speaker 3: But you got to but let me finish my thought.
- 35:11Speaker 3: What I was gonna say was and then and then
- 35:12Speaker 3: you'll see people like cor Day, You'll see people like
- 35:15Speaker 3: my son, people like you like, and it's like, Yo,
- 35:17Speaker 3: this is not just because it's popular to post a
- 35:20Speaker 3: black square on Instagram or it's popular to spread awareness
- 35:23Speaker 3: because we're stuck in the house.
- 35:24Speaker 2: So the thing with that is people don't really understand. Again,
- 35:28Speaker 2: they only know what they see. They don't know our
- 35:30Speaker 2: lives were at risk every day. I don't know if
- 35:32Speaker 2: you know, you know me, my son, we moved. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna get to that too. We moved to Kentucky.
- 35:38Speaker 2: We were living now. Wow, So imagine being followed by helicopters.
- 35:42Speaker 2: You you getting random unmarked cars, following being shot at,
- 35:50Speaker 2: whether it maybe tear gas, different stuff.
- 35:53Speaker 1: You know, we've been through. We've been through a lot.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Man, I'm talking about any anything when anything can go
- 35:58Speaker 2: the same man Dan just for us showing up to
- 36:01Speaker 2: his house, had us arrested, trying to give us feelings.
- 36:05Speaker 2: But you can't do nothing to the officers that cold
- 36:08Speaker 2: blooded killed Breonna Taylor. Crazy, you see what I'm saying.
- 36:12Speaker 2: But I tell people when they comes to stuff like that,
- 36:15Speaker 2: anytime we leave out the house, shit, it's not guaranteed
- 36:17Speaker 2: we're coming back. That ship just as serious as the
- 36:19Speaker 2: street life. When you're dealing with going against crooked officers.
- 36:23Speaker 3: The cops are the biggest game.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And it's crazy.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Police literally move like a gang.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Yeah. But what I want to say, I'm not gonna.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I'm not gonna. I'm a I'm a realistic person. I'm
- 36:33Speaker 2: not gonna pending on all of them because even times
- 36:36Speaker 2: when we were arrested and stuff like that, you have
- 36:38Speaker 2: officers pulls aside like, man, I respect what y'all doing.
- 36:42Speaker 1: It gotta be this way.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say this, like, obviously most cops are good,
- 36:47Speaker 3: but I just mean in terms of like the culture
- 36:49Speaker 3: of police. There's unwritten laws that they had they follow.
- 36:52Speaker 2: It is very it's so crazy to be funny, right,
- 36:55Speaker 2: Like when people talk about the streets and the industry
- 36:59Speaker 2: snitch and right, officers feel the same way if you
- 37:03Speaker 2: go tell on them.
- 37:04Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say. The same way
- 37:06Speaker 3: if a cop sitches on another cop that the.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Yeah you outcast. Yeah, so it's definitely the same ship.
- 37:15Speaker 3: It is definitely the same ship. It is crazy. I
- 37:17Speaker 3: wonder I have you had any sort of like because
- 37:23Speaker 3: you feel like the type of person who could run
- 37:24Speaker 3: for office and win. Never I don't do politics. Have
- 37:28Speaker 3: you ever met with like you know, you know, I've
- 37:30Speaker 3: seen Killer Mike meet with the governor of Georgia, who
- 37:34Speaker 3: I know is more of a conservative guy.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Have you ever tried to meet with this It's nothing
- 37:37Speaker 2: you really can do coming through Texas and not know
- 37:41Speaker 2: who I am. So I came across just about anybody.
- 37:45Speaker 2: There's been times rather than even say their names, has
- 37:49Speaker 2: been times some of the people at the top of
- 37:51Speaker 2: the ladder reached out to to talk all to try
- 37:56Speaker 2: and come move through the town and want me to
- 38:00Speaker 2: pull up, and I just won't. I just stand on principles.
- 38:02Speaker 2: You know, if it's something I believe in, cool if not,
- 38:05Speaker 2: know now what I do now is I try and
- 38:08Speaker 2: give people the knowledge, like I gave a lot of
- 38:10Speaker 2: people that know you can actually be in jail and vote.
- 38:16Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like it was just it
- 38:17Speaker 2: was different things that could be done. And then a
- 38:20Speaker 2: lot of people, you know, their mentality was like what
- 38:23Speaker 2: I need to vote for? My vote don't count. But
- 38:25Speaker 2: when I start helping them understand matters if you feel
- 38:29Speaker 2: the count or not. The way we win is to
- 38:32Speaker 2: get the right people in office. You see what I'm saying,
- 38:35Speaker 2: Because if we ain't voting, we letting the people who
- 38:37Speaker 2: gonna fuck us over at our times sit in office
- 38:40Speaker 2: and whether they run up money on and like Texas.
- 38:43Speaker 3: For for whatever reason, Texas has gotten a lot closer
- 38:46Speaker 3: in terms of it's I know it's a conservative state,
- 38:49Speaker 3: but it also is like a state that I feel
- 38:51Speaker 3: like a lot of people are are willing to look
- 38:54Speaker 3: at other ideas.
- 38:56Speaker 1: If you will, you.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Go to a place like Austin. Austin is like a
- 39:00Speaker 3: blue city in a red state. You know what I'm saying,
- 39:02Speaker 3: Like Austin kind of feels like it's its own, like
- 39:06Speaker 3: it's its own, like it's like you go into a
- 39:08Speaker 3: whole other place when you're there.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Austin's always That's always been a lot of any of
- 39:14Speaker 2: us from Houston. That's always been music wise on our
- 39:17Speaker 2: biggest fan bases.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Love Austin, Yellow Roads, great establishment.
- 39:22Speaker 2: As far as the industry itself, it's a dope place
- 39:25Speaker 2: because they love music.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I look at.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Austin as when you go to a lot of these
- 39:31Speaker 2: festivals and different stuff, just certain people walking around Bellfoot
- 39:35Speaker 2: is just smoking hippie hippie life, you know what I'm saying.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Of course, you know they got the streets. I got
- 39:40Speaker 2: family out there, you know I know that.
- 39:42Speaker 1: But it's just it's just a good vibe city, you
- 39:45Speaker 1: know for sure?
- 39:48Speaker 3: How much like obviously the album comes out on the twentieth, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 39:52Speaker 3: next Friday. How are you are you liking it? Stay
- 39:58Speaker 3: like pretty active with music for you kind of guys.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Put this out, let it live and then see how
- 40:03Speaker 3: you feel.
- 40:04Speaker 2: As of now, I'm going to stay active until i'm needed.
- 40:09Speaker 3: There's the rejects.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yeah, the reject Yeah, Reject's gonna come to And then
- 40:14Speaker 2: after this, I'm gonna start I got over two thousand
- 40:17Speaker 2: released record I'm gonna start letting records out. I'm gonna
- 40:20Speaker 2: start letting the Wild Factor records out. You see what
- 40:23Speaker 2: I'm saying. Because one thing people don't realize in the industry,
- 40:27Speaker 2: I probably have the most powerful relationships they is You're
- 40:31Speaker 2: not gonna you can't find nobody who's been featured more
- 40:35Speaker 2: or has more features than me. The closest would be
- 40:38Speaker 2: two chains. You know what I'm saying. And I'm I'm
- 40:42Speaker 2: pretty sure anybody tell you I like my relationships is
- 40:46Speaker 2: some way different.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Man.
- 40:48Speaker 2: So I think I'm gonna get to a point where
- 40:50Speaker 2: I just start releasing a bunch of crazy records.
- 40:52Speaker 3: For the fun of it, because why I sit on them.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Man, I'm sitting on two thousand records plus, so I've
- 40:57Speaker 2: been sitting on them a long time. But I don't
- 41:00Speaker 2: I don't really. I do it just for my own person,
- 41:04Speaker 2: you know, even though my people say it selfish, But
- 41:07Speaker 2: just do it for my own person, like when you
- 41:10Speaker 2: go to the studio. Definitely, that's that's that's my go
- 41:13Speaker 2: to you know, I don't smoke a drink. That's that's
- 41:15Speaker 2: my go to, but not only would it be in
- 41:19Speaker 2: my uh.
- 41:22Speaker 1: My go to is like.
- 41:26Speaker 2: When it comes times where situations go on, I have
- 41:29Speaker 2: to pick be up for the people or focus on myself,
- 41:32Speaker 2: and I always pick you know what I'm saying. I
- 41:35Speaker 2: always pick the people, so I never really get to
- 41:37Speaker 2: get the fair shot.
- 41:39Speaker 1: This is the first time.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Nothing's really fully interrupted me from trying to push up
- 41:45Speaker 2: put an album out. So I'm just living it while
- 41:49Speaker 2: I can. To next shit hit and I gotta get
- 41:52Speaker 2: back to it.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Is Texas open carry? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, do you
- 41:56Speaker 3: because you know, like we're in California where they make
- 41:58Speaker 3: it extremely difficult to like protect yourself, and you know
- 42:03Speaker 3: there's good things and bad things about that. Obviously there's
- 42:06Speaker 3: a terrible school shooting that happened in Texas all day
- 42:10Speaker 3: I was there.
- 42:10Speaker 1: That's to see that, you know, off front line for all.
- 42:12Speaker 3: That was a heartbreaking situation.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Yeah, may they rest in peace.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I am like typically a liberal guy, but I do
- 42:19Speaker 3: feel like our countries moved so past, like ever changing
- 42:23Speaker 3: the gun culture. This is just who we are, like
- 42:25Speaker 3: we are the United States, Like I think that there
- 42:27Speaker 3: should be like obvious background checks, like very common sense things.
- 42:32Speaker 3: But I just wonder for you, like, do you feel
- 42:34Speaker 3: like in Texas certain shit doesn't happen as often because
- 42:38Speaker 3: people think twice about.
- 42:41Speaker 2: So it's a given a curse, right, is a given
- 42:43Speaker 2: the curse people think twice one because shit, the person
- 42:47Speaker 2: you're thinking of going may have exactly what you have,
- 42:51Speaker 2: So you're not really trying to write feel that.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, you have that. But then
- 42:56Speaker 1: it's like.
- 42:59Speaker 2: The curse is, damn, you're in power with some of
- 43:01Speaker 2: the the goofies that just do stupid shit that don't
- 43:04Speaker 2: stand on principal and nothing and ben In accidentally hurt
- 43:08Speaker 2: a child or something else. So you know, it's it's
- 43:10Speaker 2: the gift and a curse.
- 43:11Speaker 3: With it, man, which is like it's almost like here,
- 43:14Speaker 3: like the gift in the Curse of California is like,
- 43:16Speaker 3: you know, there's not as much like I guess it's
- 43:20Speaker 3: not as easy to just go to a Walmart and
- 43:21Speaker 3: buy AR fifteen and go shoot up a fucking your
- 43:24Speaker 3: workplace or a school. It's very hard to do that.
- 43:28Speaker 3: The curse is you might get ran up on, and
- 43:31Speaker 3: it's really like like it's active. I'm sure you've seen
- 43:33Speaker 3: the smashing grabs and people in the bay get bipped
- 43:35Speaker 3: every fucking day, like it's it's wild like. So it's
- 43:38Speaker 3: kind of like it's kind of like you got to
- 43:39Speaker 3: pick your boys in a little bit. And it's unfortunate
- 43:42Speaker 3: this is America because you ain't never gonna get rid
- 43:44Speaker 3: of the guns. No, no, no matter what. There's too
- 43:46Speaker 3: many of them, too much big business.
- 43:49Speaker 1: No man.
- 43:49Speaker 2: But believe it or not, you just you have to.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I've learned to adapt to my environment. I'm gonna tell
- 43:58Speaker 2: you one thing that really really got to me, right.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I was one day because I like my son Houston.
- 44:05Speaker 2: You know, he's thirteen. I exposed him to the game,
- 44:09Speaker 2: like he's gonna have both smarts, he can be a
- 44:12Speaker 2: square in the street kids the same time, just.
- 44:14Speaker 1: So he'll know what to do or not to do.
- 44:18Speaker 2: And if I expose it to him, no child can
- 44:21Speaker 2: come key him up and excite him to go do
- 44:24Speaker 2: no crash dumb shit because his pops and already showed him.
- 44:26Speaker 2: So I was like, man, you know what, fuck it,
- 44:30Speaker 2: let's let's just go to the gun range.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:32Speaker 2: But in my mind, it's like, damn, I don't want
- 44:34Speaker 2: people sitting here wining because he's young.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Man. I went in there.
- 44:37Speaker 2: It was kids seven or eight years old all the
- 44:40Speaker 2: way up. The just plays Super Pac. But my point
- 44:46Speaker 2: of saying that is people already preparing to.
- 44:49Speaker 3: And they already sit into their environment and you never know.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I mean, she's getting they can get real and the
- 44:56Speaker 2: world is getting real right now.
- 44:58Speaker 3: General I Twisted does a good job. In Chicago, he
- 45:04Speaker 3: had classes, so.
- 45:05Speaker 2: You know, it's crazy. I told him he's gonna have
- 45:07Speaker 2: to come. I told him we were well. We ended
- 45:09Speaker 2: up doing trade there so we didn't get around to it.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Then I just had my listening part in Chicago. He
- 45:14Speaker 2: came out shout out to him, Raoul. But yeah, I
- 45:17Speaker 2: told me, he's gonna have to train me to make
- 45:19Speaker 2: sure I can be a sharp shoot.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some time.
- 45:22Speaker 3: He's really good at like he's training like people how
- 45:24Speaker 3: to properly own a weapon at a like like you
- 45:26Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Like because at the end of
- 45:27Speaker 3: the day, like that's something that I think in the
- 45:29Speaker 3: black community isn't taught. You know what I'm saying.
- 45:32Speaker 1: You realize, man, from where we come from.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Back again, we used to think the whole side with that,
- 45:38Speaker 2: you're not hitting none of them. We used to think
- 45:40Speaker 2: it was goofy for people to be like that.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, so yeah, and a lot of people's lives
- 45:48Speaker 3: probably got saved because it was held the wrong way.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yeah that too.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what's ing. Hey, it's crazy because so I was,
- 45:58Speaker 3: I was in Vegas, I got the hang out with
- 46:00Speaker 3: James Harden. Your guys just new coach was there. He
- 46:03Speaker 3: may Yodoka, who I'm sure just shout out to him. Man,
- 46:07Speaker 3: he's a legend, you know what I'm saying. He's a
- 46:08Speaker 3: real Uh, he's a real Uh, He's a legend, you
- 46:11Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Uh.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Harden is like there was rumors of him coming back
- 46:16Speaker 3: to Houston. I hope, So I don't think it's gonna happen.
- 46:19Speaker 3: But how much like James Harden is like about as
- 46:23Speaker 3: Houston as you can get.
- 46:25Speaker 2: He's there all the times, my brother, his weekends is
- 46:27Speaker 2: passed and you know, even with a lot of stuff
- 46:30Speaker 2: I do in the community, he jumped side by side
- 46:33Speaker 2: with me. You know, him his whole team, you know,
- 46:36Speaker 2: Super solid Ude, his whole foundation all the way from
- 46:40Speaker 2: plau to everybody. You know, they all hands on man,
- 46:43Speaker 2: so man, you know, it's his club.
- 46:45Speaker 1: There are a lot of businesses.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Though when like, uh like like I always wonder like
- 46:52Speaker 3: I saw the kid Thompson who got drafted by you
- 46:53Speaker 3: guys this year. I don't know if he even knows
- 46:56Speaker 3: who you are, because he's a literal child. I think
- 46:58Speaker 3: he's from the Bay mostly. But I wonder, like if
- 47:01Speaker 3: I if I got drafted to the Rockets, the first
- 47:03Speaker 3: thing I would do is DM. I would DM train
- 47:05Speaker 3: a man.
- 47:06Speaker 2: They don't even necessary have to write because my relationship
- 47:09Speaker 2: is so strong with the Rockets and the Astros and
- 47:12Speaker 2: stuff like that.

- 47:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's like a civil war. Yeah, Dallas versus Houston.
- 47:31Speaker 2: You know, Man, Astros today end man. Even though you know,
- 47:34Speaker 2: they went cheated. They went through their phase of people
- 47:37Speaker 2: hating on the low, but at the end of the day,
- 47:40Speaker 2: they came back and so it was pure greatness.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Was it hard for people from Houston to adopt the
- 47:47Speaker 3: Texans as their team?
- 47:50Speaker 1: I mean, what do you mean?
- 47:53Speaker 3: I just feel like, you know, anytime there's like an
- 47:55Speaker 3: expansion team, even like here, right, like the Chargers are LA.
- 47:59Speaker 3: No one gives a fuck about the Chargers in LA,
- 48:01Speaker 3: Like they just don't care. Right the Oilers left. Then
- 48:04Speaker 3: there's the Cowboys who are like just everyone's team. You know,
- 48:09Speaker 3: are are Are you a Texans or a Cowboys guy?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Man, I've always been ied my city.

- 48:30Speaker 2: it's either Houston or Texas, So anything coming out of that,
- 48:33Speaker 2: I'm always on the stand.

- 52:38Speaker 3: I own a club now in a z and I'm
- 52:41Speaker 3: like conflicted because I'm a hardcore Phoenix Suns fan and
- 52:45Speaker 3: some of our biggest customers are sons and sometimes they
- 52:49Speaker 3: come in on nights that I'm like, as a fan, like,
- 52:53Speaker 3: but there's a game tomorrow. Yeah, like, bro you need
- 52:57Speaker 3: but you guys a party. In my opinion, and I
- 52:59Speaker 3: would tell this to people like, obviously, I think Atlanta
- 53:01Speaker 3: gets the credit for being the strip club city. I
- 53:04Speaker 3: personally think Houston is the best strip club city in
- 53:07Speaker 3: the country.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Right now.
- 53:08Speaker 3: We definitely you guys got to byob thing going on.
- 53:12Speaker 1: We the place right now that everybody come to.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Yes, every We is what people look at as the
- 53:18Speaker 2: party city right now, Like if you want to go
- 53:20Speaker 2: have a good time, great food. Yeah, yeah, definitely. I've
- 53:23Speaker 2: learned that the culture is definitely.
- 53:26Speaker 3: And a lot of people like you live there that
- 53:28Speaker 3: people don't live there that too. I talked to so
- 53:31Speaker 3: many artists like, oh, I'm living in Houston.
- 53:32Speaker 2: I'm like, really, can tell you a lot of them,
- 53:34Speaker 2: tons of them, Yeah, because I wouldn't say.
- 53:39Speaker 3: There's Like I was talking to be a Be the
- 53:40Speaker 3: pac Man and he was like, I've been living in Houston.
- 53:42Speaker 3: I mean this is on camera, so I can talk
- 53:43Speaker 3: to you. Like a lot of people love Houston. Man. Yeah,
- 53:45Speaker 3: you get the good Mexican food, not quite as the
- 53:47Speaker 3: West Coast.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Man.
- 53:49Speaker 2: This is the third barbecue. This is the third damn time.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Because I was on a d podcast last you get
- 53:56Speaker 2: said Texas Mexican food is definitely better than now. You
- 54:01Speaker 2: guys got barbecue though. Have you have you ate Mexican
- 54:04Speaker 2: food and Texas so much? You gotta come with us?
- 54:08Speaker 2: Then I've gone with Give me you give me a
- 54:10Speaker 2: restaurant right now, I'm gonna make sure I go to
- 54:13Speaker 2: before I leave text Mexican. See, we ain't even talking
- 54:17Speaker 2: about that. We're not even gonna call it tics maybe.
- 54:19Speaker 3: No, no, no, they have like Mexican spots there, Like.
- 54:24Speaker 2: You give me a restaurant here, I'm gonna take my
- 54:26Speaker 2: ass stare and I'm sugar find out.
- 54:29Speaker 3: You know what it is is. I always say, if
- 54:32Speaker 3: I rank the best Mexican food, it's San Diego because
- 54:35Speaker 3: it's right there, the borders right there. Proximity. Of course
- 54:39Speaker 3: El Paso's got good Mexican food because of course proximity
- 54:42Speaker 3: is right wat is right there. I was just look
- 54:46Speaker 3: at proximity right. The thing about San Diego is they
- 54:49Speaker 3: got all the ill Mexican food, and they got the
- 54:52Speaker 3: il my eastcols, so you get all the like the
- 54:55Speaker 3: seafood ship, the shrimp cocktail, and then LA's just got
- 54:58Speaker 3: the best taco trucks in the game. I got them.
- 55:01Speaker 3: And then Arizona then Texas.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Fuck no, yoh yeah, I'm not even gonna do Texas
- 55:09Speaker 2: like that. We ain't letting that out. You're gonna you
- 55:12Speaker 2: need to come to Texas with us, then we're gonna
- 55:13Speaker 2: go in the bus.
- 55:14Speaker 3: I'm supposed to have you gone hog hunting out there yet.
- 55:18Speaker 1: So I did you know? It's crazy.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I took me and my son and I just didn't
- 55:23Speaker 3: post it because you never know, because it is. It
- 55:25Speaker 3: is a pretty intense video. I've seen the videos of
- 55:28Speaker 3: the guys on the helicopters just mowing down.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Now we got in the trenches with him.
- 55:32Speaker 2: It wasn't that we in the middle of the night in.
- 55:34Speaker 3: The pitch blush stabbing me. Did you have to do that?
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm finna sew you. I just know what you know.
- 55:41Speaker 3: I got invited to go to Texas with Ot and
- 55:45Speaker 3: he said, baby, we're gonna go hog hunted. Baby, and
- 55:49Speaker 3: he's like, we're gonna be in the back of a
- 55:50Speaker 3: truck with a machine gun, just mowing down pigs. And
- 55:54Speaker 3: I'm a huge animal lover, but I don't love him
- 55:56Speaker 3: enough not to eat them. Obviously, I wouldn't eat.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I wouldn't eat, goddamn me.
- 56:01Speaker 3: I'll eat the swine. The swine is the I.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Mean, I'm not that type of hog. We talking about
- 56:05Speaker 1: wild boys jeans.
- 56:06Speaker 3: You don't eat that, see. But then I understand why
- 56:10Speaker 3: they want you to kill the hogs because they are
- 56:12Speaker 3: an invasive species in Texas for people don't know. They
- 56:14Speaker 3: fuck up crops, they kill pets, they're they're just they're
- 56:17Speaker 3: just not the nicest pigs. But they're also the literal
- 56:20Speaker 3: pig that poomba is in the Lion King. So you know,
- 56:24Speaker 3: I'm probably gonna end up going is murdering a bunch
- 56:26Speaker 3: of pombas in the middle of I.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Don't look at it like that, but if you ever
- 56:30Speaker 2: get caught in the vicinity of one of them, you fuck.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Are they mean?
- 56:34Speaker 1: Are they nice?
- 56:36Speaker 3: So maybe that.
- 56:37Speaker 2: They probably got one of the most vicious bites you're
- 56:40Speaker 2: gonna you.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Know what, maybe that is the more dangerous way. I'm
- 56:44Speaker 3: gonna approach this, but it'll make me sleep at night
- 56:47Speaker 3: better so I don't feel like a murderer. Is I'm
- 56:49Speaker 3: gonna just get out of the truck and I'm gonna
- 56:51Speaker 3: wait for them to come and meet and then I'm
- 56:53Speaker 3: gonna kill them.
- 56:54Speaker 2: It's not gonna be there, and they fast and shit,
- 56:57Speaker 2: so we out there. We have to use night vision
- 57:00Speaker 2: to see him from a distance.
- 57:03Speaker 3: I've seen the videos. Listen, I've seen the tiktoks there.
- 57:07Speaker 3: It's crazy. That's the next vlog we're doing We're going
- 57:10Speaker 3: to Texas. Oh wow, that is a look at that
- 57:14Speaker 3: pig's teeth. Bro, do you stuff that are hanging on
- 57:20Speaker 3: the wall home? No, you see me, I'm gonna take
- 57:24Speaker 3: one of them and I'm gonna put it on the
- 57:26Speaker 3: podcast set. We're gonna do the taxidermy.
- 57:31Speaker 2: And you do know they come and pack so you
- 57:33Speaker 2: it can be a bunch. Yeah, that's you in trouble.
- 57:36Speaker 2: If you don't know what you're doing and you ain't
- 57:38Speaker 2: out there with the right people. You fuck what?
- 57:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, is it a thing you could inform me?
- 57:45Speaker 3: Do people pay to go hunt them?
- 57:47Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 57:48Speaker 2: You know, people get paid to go hunt them because
- 57:51Speaker 2: so we can make money.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's why.
- 57:54Speaker 2: So the people who go up in the helicopters, they
- 57:56Speaker 2: definitely get paid the people who take people out, you
- 57:59Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, because it's they so much of
- 58:03Speaker 2: a problem.
- 58:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard that they're really bad for the environment, but.
- 58:07Speaker 4: They're also like, you know, it's a little very little
- 58:10Speaker 4: all right, trying to tell me that my friend has
- 58:14Speaker 4: a pig, but not that kind of he's got a pig,
- 58:17Speaker 4: like a little guy pig.
- 58:19Speaker 1: But so not a boar. Yeah, boys not to be
- 58:23Speaker 1: played with.
- 58:23Speaker 3: That'd be a pretty sick if you're actually.
- 58:25Speaker 1: You won't even be able to put a boy down
- 58:27Speaker 1: with a handgun like that.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Well, I so so I had heard uh I was
- 58:31Speaker 3: talking with uh Otis Pops and he was saying that
- 58:35Speaker 3: sometimes you got to shoot it and then you got
- 58:38Speaker 3: to slice it from behind, which to me sounds like
- 58:42Speaker 3: something I'm just not willing to do.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I ain't got that close to it.
- 58:45Speaker 3: I'm good. I don't want to ever stab anything unless
- 58:49Speaker 3: I have to.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely if you got a particular family.
- 58:52Speaker 3: If you have to, you're gonna stab somebody. But I'm
- 58:55Speaker 3: not going to do it like just because it's Monday,
- 59:00Speaker 3: like it's money. Let's go fucking slice some pigs throats
- 59:02Speaker 3: out here, all right. So the new album is uh
- 59:05Speaker 3: Stuck in Motion Stuck in Motion tracks eighteen tracks. It's
- 59:09Speaker 3: your first album in a while. Yeah, I think it's
- 59:11Speaker 3: what been five years as well.
- 59:13Speaker 1: As a real album. Yeah, it's been there's been a minute.
- 59:16Speaker 1: You know.
- 59:16Speaker 2: I threw out songs and little tapes and stuff, but noah,
- 59:20Speaker 2: this is and even when I threw our tapes that
- 59:22Speaker 2: kind of got lost in the shuffle because again we're
- 59:25Speaker 2: dealing with life. Yeah, but this is the first real
- 59:28Speaker 2: album that I'm actually, you know, crazy thing. As much
- 59:30Speaker 2: as y'all know me, and I'll be around y'all. I
- 59:32Speaker 2: don't really do interviews.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't do a lot, you see what I'm saying.
- 59:36Speaker 2: So when now when you see me talking doing that,
- 59:39Speaker 2: then it's it's that it's time.
- 59:41Speaker 3: You're on. You're on, You're on the campaign. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:43Speaker 3: definitely there it is. Man, Well listen, go get the album,
- 59:46Speaker 3: go support it, Go buy a bump box Daring crowd.
- 59:49Speaker 2: All the way, bump box dot com two x is.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Make sure y'all go get that.
- 59:52Speaker 3: They're amazing. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. If you break a chord, though,
- 59:57Speaker 3: you're fucked, because.
- 59:59Speaker 2: So the thing is they just got to reach out
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: to it. A lot of people do that once they
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: lose a chord. They'd be like, man, my box ain't wearing,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Like if you ain't give me the opportunity.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: So you had given me, Like when me and Head
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: interviewed you a while ago, I think Jeezi came up
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: to the station at the same time. Daughter you had
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: your daughter with you. You had given me like a
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: small like one of the smaller ones, right, and the
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: chord went out. So I tried to buy that cord
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: on Amazon. I bought like three different chords and none
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: of them would keep this thing on. And I called
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: when you guys opened the store, I was like, oh,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: this is great, this isn't too far. I called the
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: fucking store. I said, hey, guys, I got this model.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Can I just go up there and buy a chord?
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: And they're like, nah, we don't sell just the chord
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: and I was like, well, I.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Don't know what the fuck you didn't just call me because.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: I did call you and then you just sent me
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: ah new bump box.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: That's the easy way too.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah. So that's when I got the big Doggie Style one.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: And Doggie Style is my favorite hip hop album ever,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: all top three at any given day could be number one,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: so I Style was a class for sure. But yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: so go get a bump box they're incredible, and a
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: slapstick yeah yeah, and some headphones. And by the way,
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: the headphones sound amazing. It's I mean, the ones I
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: have are probably four or five years old at this point,
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: but they sound fucking great.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: So you know, it's crazy people didn't really realize how
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: dope they were not everybody trying to get them, and
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: we don't have.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Because at the time there was like those beat studios
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: and yours sounded way better because those were the ones
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: I was. I was using that the radio. But and
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: then I got the ones from you and they sounded
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: fucking way better.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And you know, once we were out, everybody like, fuck.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Man, we need to get that. And now it's like
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: it's too late.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: But but the end years is the way to go.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: That's what everyone's doing.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: And the thing is with me being in music, my
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: partner Rov and everybody over there is like we always
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: gonna make sure that shit louder, more basic, more clear.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's the thing we go for.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: You know, we're not trying to We're not trying to
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: hit a quick lick for sure.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Is gonna kill my glass is coming out with how
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Bavy Glasses. That's gonna be crazy. The movie, the cartoon
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: movie coming Me and Mizzie still got a movie unreleasing.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I just saw you posted with Mazi.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, you guys got a whole album together. Yeah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: we already had one out. We got a second one.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: You know, wait, how long ago did you guys put
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: that out? Like twenty sixty?
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Yeah, because for people who don't know, Mazzi has albums
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: out with artists that you before you even like. Because
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I really the first time interview Mazzi was twenty seventeen,
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: and I think he had the ship with you. He
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: had a ship with gun Play out. He's got a
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: bunch of collap album.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: That's that's my little brother for real, for real, Like
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: he's the best our relationship is. It ain't really about
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: the music for sure. And then you know, I'm just
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: a big bro to hus. So we were talking about
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: the last ninety See, I'm probably one of the only
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: people that put press on them when it's time the
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: work because I'm a I'm a monster.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: And he's like one of the coldest rappers period.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know that that's the man. But yeah,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: we got the movie. We still got another album. That album,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I still got a I still have an album sitting
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: up that never released with Thug. I have one sitting
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: up with Conway, one with Dave East who else just
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: sitting on a hard drive. You and Conway have a
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: whole album. Yeah, and this ship jam no super What
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: are you waiting for? The thing is I make times music.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: You don't gotta come out today, It'll come out and
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: still shake some shit up.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Have you talked to Thug or had any communication with
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: him since he's been away?
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: You know, I've been to court. I just want to
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: visit him, probably less than a month or two ago.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: How's he doing?
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: You're good man. I think that the main thing is
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: keeping faith, but just going through the process. The process
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: is the hard part, bro, because even with me in
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: life right now, right nobody wants to go through the
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: process because that's the most frustrating and that's what's building
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: us for growth for whatever is about to come for us.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Right But spirit wise, yeah, he was.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: He was cool'd.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Yeah, he was chilling. Yeah, definitely.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: You know, I think people don't understand. It's I think
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: some people are thinking it's a federal reco it's a
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: state reco.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Yeh's a state you know. It's still it's just disappoint serious, yeah, serious,
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: It just disappointing because I know his heart. I know
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: him for real, for real, like I know he only
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: tried to help everybody, you know what I'm saying. And
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: but in life that's what a lot of us get,
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: the ones who tend to try and help a lot
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: you know, intended backfire backfire owners at times.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: But I feel the gonna be all right man. And
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you know the other thing is.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: It's a blessing at the same time because now, guess what,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: God been exposed things and people who shouldn't have been
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: around you. So now when he comes home, it's strictly
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: focused on your family, your kids, and those who really
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: fuck with you.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it seems like almost everybody folded around him, unfortunately
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: a lot of people.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I just feel like, you know, it's not my
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: situation to speak on for sure.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: More I'm gonna roll whatever he rolling with.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: But definitely it hurt to see him just have to
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: just sit there and everybody else just doing what they do.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's what I always say about that. The
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: situation obviously is until I hear how Thug feels about,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: you know, certain things.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: That's you know, that's that's ultimately gonna be it. He's
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: gonna have the final say so with that, you know, right,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: So yeah, that makes sense.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: Well, listen, man, go get the album when it drops Friday.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: This will come out probably next Wednesday, So a couple
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: of days from now the album be out go support
