- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hello, and welcome to another episode of Grace Explained.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Today we're going to go ahead and look at the issue of who are you?
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Many times people don't quite, especially Christians I should say, don't quite understand who they are in Christ.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: They don't understand their identity in Christ, they don't understand the way that God looks at them, and they think of themselves the way sometimes other Christians look at them, or the world even looks at them.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: There's a big thing with Christians judging other people.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: They judge not only unbelievers, but they love to judge believers.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: And then there's also the world that likes to judge believers and Christians and call them hypocrites because they're not doing the things that they think they ought to be doing according to the word of God.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: And the word of God is not saying you have to be this way to be a Christian.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: The word of God is saying you ought to be this way because you are a Christian.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So we're going to go ahead and look at who are you?
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And the question is really, who are you in Christ?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Many Christians, when you talk to them, at least the ones I've talked to, they'll say, Well, I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I would hear that a lot.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: When they understood the grace of God and they understood their salvation that they have through God's grace, they would say, Well, I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Which is very true, but they it's really not that they are a sinner saved by grace, but they were a sinner saved by grace.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And really what they've got to understand is that when God looks at them, God doesn't call them a sinner saved by grace.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Scripture doesn't call them a sinner saved by grace, and the Apostle Paul does not call them a sinner saved by grace.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: What we have to understand is who we are in Christ.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And we are not sinners saved by grace, but instead we are saints.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: So here in Romans chapter 1 and verse 7, Romans 1, verse 7, he says, To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: So the believers in Rome, when Paul was writing a letter to them, you know what he called them?
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Saints.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 2.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 2.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Unto the church of God, which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Now Corinth was considered a very carnal church or a fleshly church, a church that thought about the things that they wanted to do and not the things that God would have them to do.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: But when we look at this verse, unto the church of God, which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus called to be saints.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: And right there we see a little bit of the definition of what a saint is.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The word saint, if you look it up in Webster's 1828 dictionary, it says a saint is a person sanctified.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Well, 1 Corinthians 1 2 says to them that are sanctified, not in themselves, sanctified not in their works, sanctified not in their beliefs, but sanctified in who?
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Sanctified in Christ Jesus.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So the definition is a person who a person sanctified, a holy or godly person, one eminent for piety and virtue.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: It is particularly applied to the apostles and other persons mentioned in the scriptures.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So those persons aren't just apostles, aren't just disciples, aren't just the faithful men and women of the scriptures, but they're anyone who is a believer, they're sanctified, thus being called a saint.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: That word sanctified simply means to be made holy, consecrated, set apart for sacred services.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Well, when we look at it, that that term be made holy, and the definition that we would that we would use is someone who is set apart, made holy, set apart for the purpose in which God created you in Christ Jesus.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: A sanctified person, there's a purpose, they're different than the rest of the world, and they are set apart, and and they're set apart for the purpose in which God has set forth for them to be.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So a person who is sanctified is called a saint.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: A saint is not someone who does all these great deeds and has lived this wonderful life, and then a group of men in a church decided to call them a saint.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: That is not a saint.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: A saint is anybody who has believed the gospel, trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, and the moment that they put their faith and trust in that, they became a saint in Christ Jesus, because they were sanctified in Christ Jesus.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And because they are sanctified in Christ Jesus, they are called to be saints.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: 2 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 1.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: And if you look here, you see these are all salutations that and greetings that Paul is writing to these different believers and these different local churches.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: In 2 Corinthians 1 1, he says, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God and Timothy, our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints which are in Achaia.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: So you see there he says, unto the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: So he again mentions the saints that he's with in Achai.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: So he has these saints that he's with, and who are these saints?
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: These saints are believers.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: These are people who have who have believed the gospel.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: The term a lot of people use today is, oh, they're Christians.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, those are Christians.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Well, really, the scriptural term is they're saints.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: That's who they are.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: They're saints.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 1.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 1.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God to the saints which are at Ephesus.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So again, he's writing to the believers at Ephesus, and when he writes to the believers at Ephesus, he calls them what?
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Not Christians.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: He calls them saints.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: To the saints which are at Ephesus.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: That's who he's writing his letter to.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: The saints.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: So what are we?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Who are we?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: We're saints.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: One more Philemon, Philemon 1:1.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Philemon chapter 1, verse 1.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: He says, Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: So he's talking to all the saints that are in Christ Jesus, which are at Philippi.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: So you see there, he again brings up, I'm sorry, that's Philippians 1.1.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Philippians 1.1.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: That's who he's talking to, the saints at Philippi.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: So in Philippians 1.1, he's talking to the saints.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Another one is Colossians 1-2.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Colossians 1-2, to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ, which are at Colossae, to the saints and faithful brethren.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: So again, those who are believers who have trusted the gospel and believed the gospel and put and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, they aren't called Christians by Paul.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: They're called saints.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Now Philemon 1 verse 5.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Philemon 1 verse 5, hearing of thy love and faith which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus Christ, toward all saints.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: So that term saints, when someone says, Who are you?
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm not a sinner saved by grace.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: That just sounds like I'm someone who just continually falls, continually makes mistakes, who continually is not doing the things you ought to be doing.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Those things, he's a sinner saved by grace.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: No, that's that's who you were.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: You're not a sinner saved by grace, but you were a sinner saved by grace, but now you are a saint.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: And Paul has made it very clear to us that we are saints.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: We are saints of God.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: We are saints in Christ Jesus.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: And so when we when we look at other believers, we should recognize them as saints.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: And so the term Christian, the term of sinner saved by grace, those aren't things we want to use.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: We want to tell people that, hey, you're a saint.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: You're a saint of the Most High God.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Um 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 17.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 17.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: So when we understand we're a saint, we're sanctified, we're set apart for the purpose in which God created us.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: So you've got to understand, we were created once in the flesh.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: When God created Adam, he created man.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Then from man, he took a rib and he created woman.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: And then from woman, they procreated and they create, and this is God's plan, and they create a child.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: And then that child becomes a creature.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: That child is a is a is a creation of God and it's in the flesh, but we're not just that creation, we're also a new, the moment we trust Christ and we put our faith in him, we're a new creation.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: He says, therefore, if any man be in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5 and verse 17, if any man, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: So it doesn't matter what time you what what what time or age you were when you put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, everything before that is passed away.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: So that's why I say you're not a sinner saved by grace, but you were a sinner saved by grace.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I'm not one now, but I was a sinner saved by grace.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Now I'm a new creature in Christ.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: I think about the story of the illustration of a caterpillar.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: When we look at a caterpillar and we see a caterpillar, a lot of times caterpillars got a lot of legs, they're pretty fuzzy.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Um if you show it to a young person, I mean I sing a young person, I mean a child, you know, they may think, they may be grossed out by it because they don't know what it is.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: It looks like a bug to them.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Um and they're like, ugh, you know, and if you put it on your finger and you put it on their hand, they may freak out and they don't want it on there because it's a caterpillar.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: It's like a worm.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: It looks like a worm with a bunch of legs and it's all furry and hairy and has all the, and so they don't like being a caterpillar.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: And so you have this caterpillar and it and it's just crawling around trying to make it, and then finally it finds a place where it kind of hides and it and it becomes a catalyst, and it kind of gets into its little own little home there.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: And in in that moment, there's a transformation happening, and and something was happening, and that caterpillar is transforming.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: And then when that catalyst breaks open, all of a sudden there comes out something, and when this comes out, people don't look at what comes out of that catalyst, and they don't go, hey, look, it's a caterpillar with wings now.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: They don't say that.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: When you see that caterpillar transformed, you don't go, oh look, there it is.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: That caterpillar's got wings.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: That's what it is.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: It's a caterpillar with wings.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: No.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Well, that's the same thing as saying, well, I'm a sinner saved by grace.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you were a sinner saved by grace.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: In that catalyst, you were a caterpillar, but you when you came out of that catalyst, you know what?
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: You became a butterfly.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: You became a new creature.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: People don't look at that what what that was and or what that is, and says, oh, that's the caterpillar with wings.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: They look at it and they go, look at that what?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Beautiful butterfly.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Not heard many people, I don't think I've heard anybody go, look at that ugly butterfly.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: They'll say, look at that beautiful butterfly.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: They may have thought it was an ugly caterpillar, but right now it's a what?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Beautiful butterfly.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Because it's no longer a caterpillar.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: It's what?
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: It's a butterfly.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: It's a new creature.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: Second Corinthians 5 17 tells us if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Old things are passed away.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: That caterpillars no longer exist.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: That our old sin nature is gone.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's God got rid of it.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: We still have it in our body, but God says it's gone.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And he says, Behold, all things are become new.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: You know why?
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Because you're no longer a caterpillar, you're a butterfly.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: And you're not just a butterfly, you're a what?
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: A beautiful butterfly.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 10.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: So when we think about this idea of that, hey, we're not just a butterfly, but we're a beautiful butterfly, it's that same thing.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Old things are passed away.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: That old that old stuff we used to do is gone, and now everything is new and it's beautiful.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Ephesians 2 and verse 10, he goes, For we are his, God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto what?
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: Good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Now there's a couple things here that people need to understand were not our workmanship, we're God's workmanship.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: We're created in who?
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: Christ.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: We're created in Christ's what?
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Unto good works.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: The good works that we do aren't our good works, whose good works are they?
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: They're Christ's good works that He's doing through us, which God hath before ordained that we and here's the key word, should walk in them.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: So many times I hear people say, You must walk in them, and if you're not walking in them, then you're really not a new creature in Christ.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: If you're not walking in them, then you're really not a believer.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: If you're not walking in them, then you're really not saved.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: If you're not walking in them, then you're really not a Christian.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: If you're not walking in them, then you're really not a saint.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: You must walk in them.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: That's not what the verse says, folks.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: The verse says that we should walk in them.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: This is why should we walk in them?
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Because it's who we are now in Christ.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: We're a new creature in Christ.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: We're no longer that caterpillar, we're now that butterfly.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: And when we when our mind starts thinking this way about who we were and now who we are, we start thinking differently.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Colossians chapter 3 and verse 9 and 10.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Colossians 3 and verse 9 and 10.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: So as we go ahead and we look at these things, he says, lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Who's the old man?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: He's that that old sin nature.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: He's that that that old person, he's that old, if you will, caterpillar.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: You've put away the old man with his deeds, with the things he that he did.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: And he goes in verse 10, and have put on the new man, which was renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: So we have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: Though you understand more about who you are in Christ, you understand more about being a new creature, you understand more about being about our new man, you understand more about the good works that were ordained that we should walk in.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: How?
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Because we're renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: We're renewed in knowledge after God and under uh and Jesus Christ and God and understanding who we are in him.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: So as we see, not only are we a saint, someone who's sanctified and a saint, but we're also a new creature.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: We're also uh a new man in Christ.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: And then if you look at Galatians chapter 3 and verse 26, we're also children of God.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: He says in Galatians 3.26, for ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: You see, we're we're not just we're not outside the house looking in through the window, we're in the house.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: We're not we're not wishing that we could be a part of this family.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: We are a part of this family.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: We are children of God.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: And as understanding that we're children, it's very, very important to understand that there's a special bond, there's something special there as being a child of God.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Because we're not only a child of God, but we're sons and heirs.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: And that term sons is is not just meaning men.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Um it's it's the issue of sonship, it's the issue of the close uh knit child.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: If you look at Romans chapter 8, Romans chapter 8, and we have looked at this passage before in the past.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Romans chapter 8 and verse 14, he says, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: The moment you put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you become saved, and you become a saint, you are a son of God.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: But he says in verse 15, for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry of a father.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: That idea of adoption isn't just the way we know of it today.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: When we think of adoption, we think of adoption as, hey, adoption is someone, you know, someone who didn't have a family and their parents put them, put them up for adoption because they didn't want them, and another couple went ahead and took them into their family.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: That's part of it.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: We are child, we are children of God, we are part of his family now, but it's not just that.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: That adoption is the idea of a full-grown, mature son of God.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: When God looks at us, he doesn't look at us as a child.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: He looks at us as a full-grown mature son of God.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: And he goes, Whereby we cry, Abba Father?
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Remember, we said that that term was used one other time when the Lord Jesus Christ was at the Garden of Gethsemane and he cried, Abba Father.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: It was it was that term father father.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: It was that term where where a child would would cry out to their to their to their father.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: That's what he was doing.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Not only did Christ do it, but we also have that.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Relationship with God the Father, the creator of heaven and earth.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: We have the relationship that we can cry out to Him, Abba Father.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: And so when we understand that we can cry out and we can say Abba Father, and we can look at Him and we can say, Father, Father, and we have this special relationship that not the world doesn't have.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Only believers have.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Only saints have.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: And we we have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba Father, the Spirit itself bears beareth witness with our Spirit that we are the children of God.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: And if children, then what?
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: If you're a child and your parents have money, then you became a what?
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: An heir.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: So there's an issue of we're not just children of God, but we're heirs of God.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: You see, if children, then we're heirs and heirs of God.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: And who is the Lord Jesus Christ?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: He is God the Son.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: He is the Son of God and God the Son.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: He is part of the Godhead, is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: So everything that God has, the Lord Jesus Christ has.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: So we're not just, and of children, then heirs, heirs of God, and we're what?
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: Joint heirs with Christ.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: You see, when we understand that we're joint heirs with Christ, everything that Christ has, guess what we have?
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Everything he has.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: And that's not, again, riches on this world.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: That's not blessing, that's not a big house or lots of money or a Lamborghini.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: It has nothing to do with any of that.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: We're not just heirs of God, but we're joint heirs with Christ.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: And every spiritual thing that Christ has, guess what?
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: You have it too in Christ.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: If so be we suffer with him, we may also be glorified with him.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Remember, I told you, we suffer in this world.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: We suffer in this world.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: God never said it was going to be easy, but he did promise us one thing.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: You may suffer with him on this earth.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: But I will tell you this much, you will be glorified with him.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: One day he's going to have a body, and it's going to be a glorified body.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: We're going to have that same body.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: We're going to have a body fashioned like unto his glorious body.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: And we'll spend, maybe in a few weeks, we'll look at that particular item and understand our our our glorified body a little bit better.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: But understanding who we are in Christ, we're not sinners saved by grace.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: We were past tense sinners that are saved by grace.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: But now, who are we?
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: We're saints.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: We're children of God.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: We're a new creature in Christ.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: We're not only sons of God, full-grown, mature sons of God, but we're heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: If you don't know, if you're a saint, it has nothing to do with what you do, has nothing to do with you being nice, has nothing to do with you helping people, has nothing to do with you feeding the poor.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Those are all great things and things that believers should help with other people.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: But what does it have to do?
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: It has to do with you simply putting your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: If you've never put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you would understand that you're a sinner and that Christ came down on this earth.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: He died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: And if that you will simply put your faith and trust in that and that and that alone, you will have the free gift of eternal life.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: And then you will become a saint of God.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: If you've never put your faith and trust in him, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
