- 0:50Speaker 1: We got a couple of things coming up that I
- 0:53Speaker 1: want to share with you guys so that you guys
- 0:56Speaker 1: can be in the.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Loop to what we're doing.
- 0:58Speaker 1: For those that don't know who I am, let me
- 1:01Speaker 1: quickly do some little housekeeping, give out a couple lood
- 1:06Speaker 1: catch you up. So I am the visionary of AA
- 1:10Speaker 1: L a C, which is African American author Libacy Awareness campaign,
- 1:13Speaker 1: The Crew Podcast, which is a network of podcasters. We
- 1:18Speaker 1: can currently have nine amazing hosts over on that network,
- 1:24Speaker 1: nine amazing queens that share their voice. I often say
- 1:29Speaker 1: that we are the change that we desire to.
- 1:31Speaker 2: See in this world.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So that's who I am. I am just someone that's
- 1:38Speaker 1: out here trying to make a difference, trying to be
- 1:41Speaker 1: that change that I want to see in this world.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Change starts and ends with us. So I'm just out
- 1:48Speaker 1: here trying to be that voice for that person that
- 1:50Speaker 1: think that they don't have a voice. Know that you
- 1:53Speaker 1: do have a voice, and there is something that you're
- 1:55Speaker 1: supposed to be doing regardless of where you are, Know
- 2:00Speaker 1: that you are right where you're supposed to be. Because
- 2:03Speaker 1: God knows what we can go, what we can handle.
- 2:06Speaker 1: He knows what we're going to go through. He knows
- 2:09Speaker 1: all that before we were even conceived in our mother's womb.
- 2:13Speaker 1: We just have to go through the process. We have
- 2:15Speaker 1: to stay the course and stay encouraged. You know, things
- 2:18Speaker 1: come up, we go through things, and we just have
- 2:20Speaker 1: to learn how to deal with those things and how
- 2:22Speaker 1: to get through those things.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Y'all. I am.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Y'all know this month is Mental Health Awareness Month and
- 2:29Speaker 1: we're getting ready to close it out, but this month
- 2:31Speaker 1: is Mental Health Awareness Month. Those that follow me and
- 2:34Speaker 1: have been a part of things that I do, know
- 2:37Speaker 1: that that has been one of my struggles, that has
- 2:40Speaker 1: been one of the things that I have struggled with
- 2:42Speaker 1: on this journey. Today, I'm fifty years old, and I
- 2:46Speaker 1: can tell you that for most of my life I
- 2:49Speaker 1: struggled with it and didn't know what it was. But
- 2:52Speaker 1: probably about six or seven years ago, well, a little
- 2:56Speaker 1: longer than that now, y'all. I keep wanting to push
- 2:58Speaker 1: things back, but it's been a little longer than that,
- 3:00Speaker 1: because I just celebrated ten years.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Being a domestic violence survivor.
- 3:07Speaker 1: During that process was when I found out about a
- 3:11Speaker 1: lot of the mental health issues that I was dealing
- 3:13Speaker 1: with and that I had been struggling with for years,
- 3:16Speaker 1: depression being one of them, PTSD being another. I was
- 3:23Speaker 1: borderline bipolar, I was a mantic depressiont So I had
- 3:30Speaker 1: a lot of things going on, y'all. But I did
- 3:32Speaker 1: not find out until I went through domestic violence, going
- 3:36Speaker 1: through domestic violence and finding out a lot about me,
- 3:40Speaker 1: finding out a lot about who I was dealing with
- 3:46Speaker 1: things from my childhood, because there are a lot of
- 3:49Speaker 1: things that you know, you you just you cannot identify
- 3:53Speaker 1: because you.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Don't know what they are. You know.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I didn't have nobody talking about depression, didn't have nobody
- 3:58Speaker 1: talking about PTSD, didn't have nobody talking about these things
- 4:02Speaker 1: that I was dealing with. So if they're not talking
- 4:05Speaker 1: about it, they're not dealing with it, then how can
- 4:07Speaker 1: I get helpful it if they're not even acknowledging it.
- 4:10Speaker 1: So going through that process of going through domestic violence,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I was able to discover some things. I was able
- 4:16Speaker 1: to find out a little bit about who I was,
- 4:19Speaker 1: find out a little bit about what I was dealing with,
- 4:22Speaker 1: had an opportunity to sit down with a psychiatrist, had
- 4:26Speaker 1: an opportunity to work with two therapists. Y'all, I had
- 4:31Speaker 1: to have a therapist about one of my therapists. So
- 4:34Speaker 1: that just tells you how deep things were. But I
- 4:38Speaker 1: was willing to go through the process, willing to go
- 4:40Speaker 1: through those things that I needed to go through so
- 4:44Speaker 1: that I could be doing some of the stuff that
- 4:46Speaker 1: y'all see me doing today. Am I am I perfect? No?
- 4:52Speaker 2: I am not perfect. Do I still struggle? Yes? I
- 4:56Speaker 2: have my days. Depression and grief.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Have been one of those things that I have struggled
- 5:01Speaker 1: with over the last i'm gonna say five years. But
- 5:08Speaker 1: I have learned because now I'm able to identify these
- 5:12Speaker 1: things and now I know I know when I'm feeling
- 5:17Speaker 1: that depression spirit coming over me. I know when I'm
- 5:22Speaker 1: going through grief. Even on yesterday, I had a moment.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I had a moment where I was missing my brother,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and then when I began to miss my brother, I
- 5:34Speaker 1: start missing other people that have gone on before me.
- 5:37Speaker 2: And then I cried a little bit, and then I
- 5:40Speaker 2: moved from that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know, because I knew my brother, I started hearing
- 5:45Speaker 1: those voices. That's why, y'all, I'm telling you, create memories.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Get out here and create memories. Create those things that
- 5:52Speaker 1: when you start going through, when you start missing your
- 5:56Speaker 1: loved one, you can remember.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Those things that y'all did to You can remember those laughters.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You can remember the good things.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And that's what helped me get through yesterday. You know,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I remember that my brother would not want me doing this.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He would not want me sitting here crying. He would
- 6:15Speaker 1: not want me sitting here moping and having a pity party.
- 6:20Speaker 1: He would want me out here enjoying life. He will
- 6:23Speaker 1: want me out here pursuing those things that we talked about,
- 6:27Speaker 1: some of the things that he and I talked about.
- 6:29Speaker 1: He would want me out here doing those things so
- 6:31Speaker 1: that I can create and leave a legacy for those
- 6:34Speaker 1: that are coming behind, so that those that may not
- 6:37Speaker 1: knew my brother, they can know my brother because I
- 6:40Speaker 1: vowed to create something that would remind people of who
- 6:45Speaker 1: he is and the things that he done. So that's
- 6:49Speaker 1: what we have to do, and that's what I did
- 6:51Speaker 1: on yesterday as I was preparing to get ready for
- 6:56Speaker 1: this twenty one day challenge. Y'all know, I'm the visionary
- 6:58Speaker 1: of the one hundred douth the movie. So with the
- 7:01Speaker 1: one hundred Out the Movement for those that may not
- 7:03Speaker 1: know what the one hundred Out the Movement is. We
- 7:06Speaker 1: are a diverse group of authors, creatives. We have publishers,
- 7:13Speaker 1: we have editors, we have graphic designers, we have educators, professors, ministers,
- 7:22Speaker 1: you name it. We have all of them a part
- 7:24Speaker 1: of this group because we are a diverse group of
- 7:27Speaker 1: authors that have different backgrounds and our main objective is
- 7:31Speaker 1: the forces, and that is connect, collaborate, create in community.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Bill y'all, we have to learn how to support. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: when I say support, it's not a one way support
- 7:44Speaker 1: because a lot of times we often we want to
- 7:47Speaker 1: solicit services. We want to solicit our services to other
- 7:51Speaker 1: people so that they can be a part of the
- 7:53Speaker 1: things that we're doing, but then we don't want to
- 7:55Speaker 1: offer anything back. It's like it's always one sided. We
- 7:59Speaker 1: don't We're not one side at the one hundred author movement.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm going to give constantly anyway, because that's just who
- 8:07Speaker 1: I am. Those that know me, anybody that invite me
- 8:11Speaker 1: to be a part of their platform and to be
- 8:13Speaker 1: a part of what they're doing, know that I just.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I can't go by myself.
- 8:19Speaker 1: If you want, we need to come be a part
- 8:21Speaker 1: of your platform, I need you to be able to
- 8:23Speaker 1: invite some more of the people that's a part of
- 8:26Speaker 1: the things that I'm doing because I'm What I am
- 8:29Speaker 1: doing is not just for me. What I'm doing is
- 8:31Speaker 1: for a community of people. Currently, we have forty nine
- 8:35Speaker 1: amazing authors a part of the platform.
- 8:39Speaker 2: They're active in and active.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Because we do have authors that work jobs, that do
- 8:45Speaker 1: other stuff that can't be active inside of the group.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I understand that. So they are still a part of
- 8:53Speaker 1: what we do, they're just not active inside of our chat.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 8:56Speaker 1: We do challenges, we do shout outs, We do stuff
- 8:59Speaker 1: to bring about visibility and to show UH camaraderie, UH teamwork,
- 9:07Speaker 1: shows partnership, things that would keep us together.
- 9:12Speaker 2: So I'm looking at some of the comments.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Chanette says, I have a jar that I started to
- 9:18Speaker 1: fill up with memories of my son so that when
- 9:20Speaker 1: I have those moments, I can go back and read
- 9:23Speaker 1: the memories.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Good idea. That is a very great idea, Channette.
- 9:27Speaker 1: You should think about maybe designing some type of jars
- 9:33Speaker 1: or some type of things that you can maybe go
- 9:36Speaker 1: along with your book, and that can be something that
- 9:39Speaker 1: you can incorporate with your brand and name it. Name
- 9:43Speaker 1: that jar, some type of grief jar. Come up with
- 9:47Speaker 1: something that you can incorporate that with your book. That
- 9:50Speaker 1: is a great idea, Chanette.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I love that. I love that Shanette is chiming in
- 9:57Speaker 2: on Facebook.
- 9:58Speaker 1: She said that she would. She started a jar and
- 10:03Speaker 1: she filled them with memories of her son. So she
- 10:06Speaker 1: jopped down things and write them put them inside of
- 10:08Speaker 1: the jar. So when she's having those moments, she can
- 10:11Speaker 1: go back and she can pull out one of those
- 10:16Speaker 1: things that she have in there, and she can read
- 10:18Speaker 1: about her son, and she can reflect on her son,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and she can enjoy the moment. Because see, y'all, I
- 10:24Speaker 1: tell you it's okay to have these feelings, and we
- 10:27Speaker 1: all should be able to experience these feelings. If you're angry,
- 10:32Speaker 1: feel angry, feel sad, feel however you feel. You should
- 10:36Speaker 1: be able to feel that way. But know that you
- 10:40Speaker 1: don't have to stay there. And that's what it's about,
- 10:42Speaker 1: not staying where you are.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's okay to feel how you feel. Come on, TikTok, y'all,
- 10:48Speaker 2: go ahead, shoot me some basketballs.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Shoot me some basketballs. Shoot me some basketball, Show me
- 10:52Speaker 1: some love, show me some love.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Show you girls some love. Show your girl some love.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you, Thank you for tuning in, Thank
- 10:58Speaker 2: you for tuning in. If you would, please share this,
- 11:01Speaker 2: Share this, Share.
- 11:02Speaker 1: This, Share this because you never know what the next
- 11:05Speaker 1: person may be in need of. We are getting ready
- 11:08Speaker 1: to launch our twenty one day Challenge and I would
- 11:11Speaker 1: love for a lot of you guys to participate in
- 11:13Speaker 1: this challenge.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna go over in just a second what the
- 11:17Speaker 1: challenge is going to until, y'all is twenty one days
- 11:21Speaker 1: and it is detailed. It's really going to dive into
- 11:24Speaker 1: some things, gonna really show you how you can be active.
- 11:27Speaker 1: If you do this, and if you are consistent, you
- 11:30Speaker 1: should be able to see a difference in your visibility
- 11:34Speaker 1: and your followship and all of those things.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But you have to put in the time. You have
- 11:40Speaker 2: to put in and do the work.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You can't expect for something new to happen if you're
- 11:48Speaker 1: doing the same thing and you're not changing anything, and
- 11:52Speaker 1: it's insanity. That's what it's called insanity. And we're not
- 11:55Speaker 1: moving into insanity. We are moving in excellence when moving
- 11:58Speaker 1: in greatness. So I challenge you TikTok, I challenge you Facebook, YouTube,
- 12:04Speaker 1: Twitch subs that I challenge you to get involved in
- 12:08Speaker 1: the twenty one day Challenge. Y'all, we've been floating the
- 12:11Speaker 1: twenty one day Challenge all around. If you are not
- 12:14Speaker 1: aware of the twenty one day Challenge, if you do
- 12:16Speaker 1: not know how to get attached to the twenty one
- 12:19Speaker 1: day Challenge, please go over to linked treck Queen of
- 12:24Speaker 1: Collaborations and check out the twenty one day Challenge. Y'all
- 12:29Speaker 1: join the twenty one day Challenge. Let me tell y'all
- 12:32Speaker 1: a little bit about the twenty one day Challenge.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Let me pull it up. I got another I got
- 12:35Speaker 2: to pull up on another device.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But y'all, I'm gonna tell y'all, I'm really not that
- 12:41Speaker 1: tech savvy y'all see me doing all this stuff, y'all
- 12:43Speaker 1: probably think I am so tech savage.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I got y'all going on full different devices right now,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and I'm trying to pull up something on another device.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So know that. Know that I just try to make
- 12:55Speaker 2: it happen where I can make it happen.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I just try to make the best of what I
- 12:59Speaker 1: can and use the resources that I have to do
- 13:02Speaker 1: what I can do to make a difference. And that's
- 13:04Speaker 1: what it's all about. Because we got to remember, if
- 13:06Speaker 1: we take one step, y'all. It ain't in the Bible,
- 13:10Speaker 1: but I believe it because that's what I've been taught.
- 13:12Speaker 1: If we take one step, he gonna take, he gonna
- 13:14Speaker 1: take for a couple of months of us and it's
- 13:17Speaker 1: just us just having faith and believing. So, y'all, I'm
- 13:20Speaker 1: going to go over the twenty one day challenge and
- 13:24Speaker 1: give y'all an overview of what the twenty one day
- 13:28Speaker 1: challenge is. I just gotta pull it up over here
- 13:30Speaker 1: on my other device. Again, the music that's playing in
- 13:35Speaker 1: the background is not my music. It is playing on
- 13:38Speaker 1: Alexa and it is for my entertainment person pers purposes.
- 13:43Speaker 2: It is playing it.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Is playing lightly in the back, so you may hear
- 13:48Speaker 1: faintly some music playing in the back, but it is
- 13:51Speaker 1: not part of the streaming. It is for my personal
- 13:56Speaker 1: enjoyment as I do this stream. So I am trying
- 14:04Speaker 1: to pull it up, y'all. Gotta find it.
- 14:14Speaker 2: H let me see shout. Mm hmmm. Gotta check my
- 14:34Speaker 2: blood pressure real quick, y'all.
- 14:39Speaker 1: M h.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm looking for I'm trying.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm looking for what's the name so I can go
- 14:46Speaker 1: over it with you, guys, because I want to share
- 14:47Speaker 1: it with you.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Here it is.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'm sorry, it was just taking me just a little
- 14:51Speaker 1: longer to get to it. I told you I ain't
- 14:53Speaker 1: the I ain't the best with this technology, but I'm
- 14:56Speaker 1: gonna do with it. I'm gonna make it do what
- 14:58Speaker 1: it do.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So the on One Day Challenge starts on June first,
- 15:02Speaker 1: which is Sunday, and we break it down into weeks
- 15:08Speaker 1: and then we break it down in today. So the
- 15:10Speaker 1: first week is called break the Ice and Build your Story.
- 15:14Speaker 1: The very first day, we're gonna do your origin story.
- 15:20Speaker 1: How did you fall in love with words? That's that's
- 15:24Speaker 1: gonna be the first day. The second day the book
- 15:27Speaker 1: that changed my life. You're gonna review a book and
- 15:32Speaker 1: invite people to come and participate. So you're gonna share
- 15:35Speaker 1: this with your audience. You're gonna engage with your audience.
- 15:38Speaker 1: The third day, we're gonna boost a literary myth, for example,
- 15:44Speaker 1: the truth about becoming a best selling author. So whatever
- 15:47Speaker 1: myth that you have heard, we want you to talk
- 15:50Speaker 1: about those myths, and we want you to dispell of
- 15:53Speaker 1: those myths, like we want you to tell people if
- 15:57Speaker 1: if you know a myth about becoming a best selling
- 15:59Speaker 1: arts so of course we are. Most of us are
- 16:02Speaker 1: now best selling authors. So y'all we know, we know
- 16:05Speaker 1: that it is a myth, so we can tell we
- 16:07Speaker 1: can share with somebody how we became a best selling
- 16:10Speaker 1: author so that they can be encouraged to try to
- 16:14Speaker 1: become a best selling author. So again, that is day four.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Day five is going to be the power of passages.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So what you're gonna do is read a passage from
- 16:24Speaker 1: your book, or if you apart if you haven't done
- 16:28Speaker 1: a personal book, you'll read apart from an anthology. You
- 16:33Speaker 1: gotta do that, and then I say I'm sorry, Day
- 16:37Speaker 1: four I skipped Day four. Day four is a day
- 16:40Speaker 1: in my literary world. So that is you can do
- 16:44Speaker 1: behind the scenes of your workspace, things that you do
- 16:49Speaker 1: to prepare to write, things that you do to whatever
- 16:55Speaker 1: your routines is when it comes to writing. Because you
- 16:57Speaker 1: want to bring people inside of your literary world. So
- 17:01Speaker 1: how do you do that. That's gonna be Day four.
- 17:03Speaker 1: You're gonna have an opportunity to do videos, go live.
- 17:07Speaker 1: You can pre record this stuff or you can actually
- 17:10Speaker 1: go live and show people what you're doing.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Every day.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Requirement is though, that you go live for at least
- 17:18Speaker 1: ten minutes so that people can.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Engage with you and really get involved in what you're doing.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Day six is going to be a Q and a
- 17:28Speaker 1: ask Me anything. So you're gonna allow your community to
- 17:32Speaker 1: ask you questions. And now what I would do is
- 17:35Speaker 1: I would do it in the form of something that
- 17:39Speaker 1: you can capture their emails so that you can stay
- 17:41Speaker 1: in contact with them so that you can reach out
- 17:43Speaker 1: to them and if you get an opportunity, because you
- 17:47Speaker 1: may not get to answer everybody question, what I would
- 17:50Speaker 1: do is also follow up with those that are active,
- 17:54Speaker 1: those that participate, follow up with them. Now, we got
- 17:57Speaker 1: to learn how to be intentional and how to really
- 18:00Speaker 1: engage and connect with those that support the things that
- 18:02Speaker 1: we do. They don't come over and support us just
- 18:05Speaker 1: because they was drawn to us for a reason, and
- 18:07Speaker 1: we got to learn how to support them back for
- 18:10Speaker 1: supporting us. So we gotta come up with ways to
- 18:13Speaker 1: do that. Day seven A it's tribute time. Day seven
- 18:18Speaker 1: is tribute time. So this is what you're gonna do.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You're going to spotlight a unappreciated literary figure or mentor.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So this is your time to showcase those that have
- 18:30Speaker 1: mentored you, those that you think are in the literary
- 18:34Speaker 1: world that are not being recognized like they should be recognized.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It may be your favorite author, it may be a publisher,
- 18:40Speaker 1: it may be an editor, it may be a graphic designer.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It may be somebody that's in the literary world that's
- 18:45Speaker 1: doing amazing work and nobody is recognizing them. So this
- 18:50Speaker 1: is your opportunity to put a spotlight on them and
- 18:53Speaker 1: to do a tribute for them.
- 18:55Speaker 2: And that closes out Week one.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So what I did in each section was also if
- 19:04Speaker 1: you go over and check out the actual outline for
- 19:08Speaker 1: the twenty one day challenge, it has a reflection and
- 19:13Speaker 1: summary reflection. So we'll go over what we did throughout
- 19:17Speaker 1: that week and reflect on that.
- 19:19Speaker 2: So this is what it says.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It says by the end of week one, you should
- 19:23Speaker 1: have shared personal stories and values, initiated thoughtful conversation around
- 19:28Speaker 1: books and writing, Engage with your audience through interactive content
- 19:32Speaker 1: and Q and a's a begun to foster a welcoming
- 19:37Speaker 1: and inform loyal community around your literary journey. This is
- 19:42Speaker 1: connecting with those that support you. This is connecting with
- 19:46Speaker 1: those that come over and follow your page. If these
- 19:52Speaker 1: elements took place, you lay a strong foundation for a
- 19:57Speaker 1: deeper engagement and set in inviting tone for the weeks
- 20:02Speaker 1: to come.
- 20:04Speaker 2: If not, if you did not.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Consider which pieces can be revisited and repurpose to connect
- 20:12Speaker 1: with your community.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Say you you skip a.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Day, or you forget to do one, or you join late,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you have an opportunity to catch up.
- 20:21Speaker 2: You have an opportunity to revisit.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You have an opportunity to go back and repurpose things,
- 20:26Speaker 1: so you have an opportunity to be involved Week two.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It's called spark the conversation and disrub the norm. Spark
- 20:36Speaker 1: the conversation and disrupt the norm. So day eight is
- 20:41Speaker 1: the dark Side talk openly about rejection, writers, bark, and failure.
- 20:48Speaker 1: This is the opportunity where you can talk about those
- 20:50Speaker 1: things that did not go how you expected them to go.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You can talk about some of these maybe not so
- 20:57Speaker 1: good reviews that you may have received, and you can
- 21:01Speaker 1: talk about, you know, your feelings, your perspective, how you
- 21:04Speaker 1: have felt on this journey.
- 21:06Speaker 2: So if you receive.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Rejection letters, for some that have a inquired to these
- 21:12Speaker 1: big publishing houses, if you have gotten rejection letters, if
- 21:16Speaker 1: you want to talk about those rejection letters and how
- 21:18Speaker 1: you felt and what you did to move from that,
- 21:21Speaker 1: this is your opportunity to share, because you sharing could
- 21:24Speaker 1: help somebody else. So this is the opportunity to do that.
- 21:29Speaker 1: They dine your shake up debate. So this is what
- 21:34Speaker 1: we'll do. Literary fiction versus commercial poetry, versus pros, etc.
- 21:43Speaker 2: So we're shaking it up.
- 21:45Speaker 1: So you we're gonna have We want you to find
- 21:48Speaker 1: someone that is opposite your juror so that you can
- 21:53Speaker 1: talk about and discuss differences and lights and just have
- 21:57Speaker 1: a debate. And this is connecting with someone. For those
- 22:02Speaker 1: that are attached to the one hundred aufter movement, you
- 22:05Speaker 1: have forty eight other people that you can connect with
- 22:09Speaker 1: and do this with. And during this process, we should
- 22:13Speaker 1: have accountability partners. We should have someone that is making
- 22:18Speaker 1: sure that we are standing the course and we are
- 22:21Speaker 1: making sure that they're standing the course. So this will
- 22:23Speaker 1: be a great opportunity to have accountability partner, to have
- 22:26Speaker 1: someone that is doing this with you, and y'all can
- 22:29Speaker 1: keep tabs on each other. Y'all can push each other,
- 22:32Speaker 1: y'all can motivate each other. Y'all can encourage each other.
- 22:37Speaker 1: They ten If I was editor in chief, what would
- 22:42Speaker 1: you change about the literary world? This is your opportunity
- 22:46Speaker 1: to talk about what you would do different inside of
- 22:50Speaker 1: the literary world. What have you noticed that you would
- 22:53Speaker 1: do different. What are some things that you would encourage
- 22:56Speaker 1: others to do if you were the editor in chief?
- 23:02Speaker 1: Literary controversy, discuss a hot literary topic. Examples diversity AI
- 23:09Speaker 1: in books. Also, we can talk about band books. You
- 23:12Speaker 1: can talk about various different things and these are just
- 23:16Speaker 1: examples of things that you can talk about. Day twelve
- 23:20Speaker 1: is the flash fiction Poetry Slam. We want you to
- 23:25Speaker 1: create a live or invite audience to participate.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And you can do a flash fiction.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Where you can just read, or you can have where
- 23:36Speaker 1: y'all can just read different parts of your books. Or
- 23:39Speaker 1: you can have a poetry slam where you can just share.
- 23:41Speaker 1: If you are a poet, you can share your poetry
- 23:44Speaker 1: because I know a lot of us in the one
- 23:46Speaker 1: hundred Author movement are poets as well as authors.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Day thirteen Host a guest. This is when you bring.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Another author or creative onto a live and y'all y'll
- 24:00Speaker 1: talk about you'll brands you in gauge with that author
- 24:06Speaker 1: that you bring into the platform. Day fourteen crowd source
- 24:13Speaker 1: a story. Write a story together with live suggestions, take
- 24:18Speaker 1: suggestions from your audience, Get your audience involved, get them
- 24:22Speaker 1: involved in the storyline, get them involved in the characters,
- 24:27Speaker 1: get them involved, and y'all write that story together. And
- 24:32Speaker 1: that is they fourteen. So this is a reflection for
- 24:38Speaker 1: day for week two. So and I outline this, and
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's an outline so that you can follow it and
- 24:45Speaker 1: you can keep up with it, and you can make
- 24:47Speaker 1: notes so you can jot it down. So once you
- 24:50Speaker 1: join the challenge, you would get outline of this so
- 24:53Speaker 1: you'll know exactly what you're supposed to be doing every day.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And then it gives you like little examples and stuff.
- 25:00Speaker 1: So after we've completed week two, the reflection, spark the
- 25:05Speaker 1: conversation and disrupt the norm.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Disrupt the norm.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Congratulations on wrapping up a bowl and thoughtful, provoking week.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Let's reflect on how your creative community face challenges, debated ideas,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and embrace new ways of thinking. Consider exploring these things
- 25:29Speaker 1: and these are suggestions are these are just options that
- 25:32Speaker 1: you can explore. Again, this is coming from the twenty
- 25:35Speaker 1: one day challenge that keeps off on June first. You
- 25:39Speaker 1: still have time to join. It is not too late.
- 25:42Speaker 1: So these are things that you can consider exploring. Which
- 25:46Speaker 1: day topic rejection, gear, debate, controversy, ETETA spark the most
- 25:51Speaker 1: discussion and emotion. How did your audience feel about opening
- 25:56Speaker 1: up to uncomfortable or controversial subjects. Did your coming say
- 26:00Speaker 1: around the topics like literary norms, AI or diversity change
- 26:04Speaker 1: your perspective? It's so how like we got to have
- 26:07Speaker 1: these conversations with our audience, with ourselves and with those
- 26:11Speaker 1: that are around us, because we want to know that
- 26:14Speaker 1: if we're going to continue to be writers, we're going
- 26:16Speaker 1: to continue to be answers, We're going to continue to
- 26:17Speaker 1: push our work that we have out here. We want
- 26:20Speaker 1: to know what are our supporters, what our readers, what
- 26:24Speaker 1: are those that are engaging with us? How do they
- 26:28Speaker 1: enjoy our stuff? What are they doing? And what don't
- 26:30Speaker 1: they like about our stuff? We want to know at all.
- 26:34Speaker 1: We want to know it all because we want to
- 26:35Speaker 1: know how that we can do better, How can we
- 26:38Speaker 1: perfect the things that we're doing, and how we can
- 26:41Speaker 1: better what we're doing so that we can continue to
- 26:43Speaker 1: put out stuff that you would want to purchase, stuff
- 26:45Speaker 1: that you would want to support. Also, which live event,
- 26:52Speaker 1: your flash fiction, your poetry slam, your guess check, your
- 26:54Speaker 1: crowdsource story which generated surprising ideas, connections and collaborations. So
- 27:01Speaker 1: this is this is what you want to see what works.
- 27:06Speaker 1: This is how you evaluate what works and what does
- 27:09Speaker 1: not work. So you can go back and you can
- 27:11Speaker 1: see what works for you and what doesn't. So how
- 27:14Speaker 1: can you carry forward the momentum from these from this honest,
- 27:19Speaker 1: wide range conversation in your ongoing writing or creative journey.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And that's what I wanted to do. Spot spark that conversation,
- 27:28Speaker 1: you know, get that conversation going, whether we're having it
- 27:31Speaker 1: for with ourselves or we're having it with other people. Okay,
- 27:35Speaker 1: wrap up your reflection by noting this any changes you
- 27:38Speaker 1: like to see in your literary space after the week's dialogue.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Is there anything that you would do different, anything that
- 27:45Speaker 2: you want to change, any risk you took in what
- 27:50Speaker 2: you learned from them?
- 27:51Speaker 1: So did you step outside your box with participating in
- 27:55Speaker 1: this twenty one day challenge? Was it something different than
- 27:58Speaker 1: you normally do? Did you step outside.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Your comfort zone? We participate and.
- 28:02Speaker 1: If you did, how did you feel stepping outside your
- 28:05Speaker 1: comfort zone? How did you feel doing something totally different?
- 28:11Speaker 1: In one conversation or moment you want to remember or
- 28:16Speaker 1: an inspirational moving forward?
- 28:19Speaker 2: What one thing that you can take away from here?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Always when you go into something, be purpose and intentional
- 28:27Speaker 1: about taking something away from what you're doing.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Don't just go in open, go in with an intention
- 28:34Speaker 2: of taking something away.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Now we got a couple of more We got a
- 28:38Speaker 1: couple of more sections week three, So now we're moving
- 28:42Speaker 1: on to week three.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Week three is.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Building community and launch your vision. So now we started
- 28:51Speaker 1: to develop some things. Now we're working on establishing and
- 28:56Speaker 1: developing the community that you have. Most of us have
- 29:00Speaker 1: already developed a community. We already have followers. We already
- 29:04Speaker 1: have pages, we've already established the brand, We've already start
- 29:08Speaker 1: the footwork. Now it's time to just keep it up
- 29:12Speaker 1: and to reflect on what we are starting to be.
- 29:17Speaker 1: So building a community and launching your vision. Day fifteen
- 29:22Speaker 1: Reading Challenge, Assign a prompt, discuss with the community what
- 29:29Speaker 1: the prompt is about and what you're what whatever you're
- 29:33Speaker 1: gonna talk about. So you assign a prompt and then
- 29:37Speaker 1: you discuss it with your community. So if you have
- 29:41Speaker 1: a book out already and you wanna talk about your book,
- 29:44Speaker 1: you put a promp up about your book and then
- 29:46Speaker 1: y'all discuss that. Day sixteen is called a rapid fire.
- 29:49Speaker 1: It's in literary questions in ten minutes, invite audience to answer.
- 29:55Speaker 1: So you're gonna have ten questions that you're gonna be
- 29:57Speaker 1: posting for your audience.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You come up with these questions and post.
- 30:04Speaker 1: If it's about your book, if it's about something that
- 30:06Speaker 1: y'all have been engaging on your personal page. Because I
- 30:10Speaker 1: hope that you are engaging with the people that support
- 30:13Speaker 1: you on your page and you're not just posting stuff
- 30:16Speaker 1: and not engaging with them. So if they are engaging
- 30:20Speaker 1: and they have been engaging. You have an opportunity to
- 30:23Speaker 1: do the rapid fire just ten literary questions. It can
- 30:27Speaker 1: be all about your book if you want to find
- 30:29Speaker 1: out how much they know about you, know about your book,
- 30:32Speaker 1: know about the platform.
- 30:34Speaker 2: It can totally be about nothing but you. But if
- 30:37Speaker 2: you want to just.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Be about the literary world, you can incorporate it into
- 30:40Speaker 1: about the literary world as well. So Day seventeen Future
- 30:46Speaker 1: lit Predictions for publishing, tech and storytelling.

- 31:35Speaker 1: they have been encouraging other people to come over and
- 31:38Speaker 1: support the things that you're doing, you should be giving
- 31:41Speaker 1: back as well.
- 31:42Speaker 2: So give away a freebie, give away, a.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Discount, a resource, give away, something that can be beneficial
- 31:51Speaker 1: to those that support you, so that they will continue
- 31:54Speaker 1: to support you and that they would share what you're
- 31:56Speaker 1: doing with somebody else. Day twenty one, y'all, no, I'm sorry.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Day twenty it's testimonies and shoutouts. This is the highlight,
- 32:07Speaker 1: community members and audience impact. This is the time where

- 32:18Speaker 1: shared your book. They have actually actively committed and participated
- 32:25Speaker 1: all twenty one days.
- 32:27Speaker 2: They have supported you. They have I mean they have
- 32:31Speaker 2: been there.
- 32:31Speaker 1: This is the time that you want to give those
- 32:34Speaker 1: shoutouts and give those testimonies and share with people what
- 32:39Speaker 1: has been taking place over these last twenty days.
- 32:42Speaker 2: So that is your time to do that. And then

- 33:08Speaker 1: all about. Celebrate your wins. How do you celebrate your wins?
- 33:12Speaker 1: You share results, make announcements of your next big move,
- 33:18Speaker 1: your book launch, y'all.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Celebrate your community, those that support you.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Talk about if you got courses coming out, you got

- 33:34Speaker 1: may have, y'all, that is.
- 33:36Speaker 2: The time to share.
- 33:37Speaker 1: So that is week three. Now reflection for week three. Again,
- 33:44Speaker 1: congratulations because now you are completed Week three. This has
- 33:49Speaker 1: been a powerhouse of connections, creative and forward thinking energy.
- 33:56Speaker 1: As this chapter wraps up, take a moment to look
- 33:59Speaker 1: back at all you and your community have achieved. Know
- 34:04Speaker 1: that you didn't do it by yourself. That there were
- 34:06Speaker 1: some people that were cheering you own, that were supporters,
- 34:10Speaker 1: that were tuning in every day, that were sharing. Those
- 34:13Speaker 1: are the ones that you want to celebrate. Now we
- 34:17Speaker 1: want you to dive into a You have read your stuff,
- 34:22Speaker 1: You've done challenges, you've shared discoveries, you've done book recommendations,
- 34:27Speaker 1: you've done inspiring discussions. You've done a lot to really
- 34:30Speaker 1: get people engaged. So now test your literary instinct with
- 34:36Speaker 1: your your rapid fire questions. We want to make sure
- 34:40Speaker 1: that you that you are able to.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Connect with your audience. Reflect on those questions that captured
- 34:54Speaker 2: that captures your attention, and then we want to reflect how.
- 34:59Speaker 1: You grew over these twenty one days. You know what work,
- 35:03Speaker 1: what didn't work, That's what we want to know. How
- 35:07Speaker 1: did your own vision for this space shift and expand
- 35:11Speaker 1: through the process. So what did you think in the
- 35:16Speaker 1: beginning and how did it change towards the end. Did
- 35:20Speaker 1: you think that you were going to be able to
- 35:22Speaker 1: do all of this stuff as you begin to partake
- 35:26Speaker 1: in it, As you begin.
- 35:27Speaker 2: To do it, did it get better? Was it beneficial?
- 35:31Speaker 1: Like we want honest feedback, but as you move forward?
- 35:36Speaker 1: After we have an as you move forward section, we
- 35:39Speaker 1: reflect on all the it and then I give you
- 35:43Speaker 1: some tips buzz for boosting tips is what it's called.
- 35:47Speaker 1: So I give you some tips to boost your visibility
- 35:52Speaker 1: and to help you during this process. So using consistent hashtags,
- 35:56Speaker 1: create your hashtags, create you some hashtags that you you
- 36:00Speaker 1: want to use throughout this twenty one days, something that
- 36:03Speaker 1: you can incorporate into your brand that you're already doing.
- 36:08Speaker 1: So for us, we use hashtag one hundred Authors on
- 36:13Speaker 1: the move. We use hashtags one hundred authors to watch,
- 36:16Speaker 1: hashtags authors on the Rise, and then hashtag, collaborate, hashtag, create, hashtag, community,
- 36:25Speaker 1: hashtag aa LAC, and you hashtag your brand because we
- 36:30Speaker 1: want to make sure that you are recognizing your brand.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So if you want to be a part of the
- 36:37Speaker 1: twenty one day challenge, please make sure to get connected,
- 36:42Speaker 1: and we also encourage you to share it with somebody
- 36:46Speaker 1: pay it forward. If you're not attached to the one
- 36:49Speaker 1: hundred Author movement, y'all, we have fifty one more spots

- 36:57Speaker 1: connect with ninety nine other like minded individuals that are

- 37:05Speaker 1: have the same aspirations. Our number one goal is to
- 37:09Speaker 1: be the change that we desire to see in this work,
- 37:13Speaker 1: and change starts and ends with us. So with that
- 37:17Speaker 1: being said, y'all, I want to challenge you guys to
- 37:20Speaker 1: get attached, get attached to the things that we're doing
- 37:23Speaker 1: over here with the Crew Podcast, Aspiring Autic Magazine aa LAC,
- 37:27Speaker 1: which is the African American Author Literacy Awareness campaign.
- 37:31Speaker 2: But we truly believe in bringing awareness to black and
- 37:34Speaker 2: brown aptors around the world in those topics that are
- 37:38Speaker 2: affecting our black and brown community because a lot of
- 37:40Speaker 2: things people don't want to talk about that need to
- 37:43Speaker 2: be a talked about in address within our black and
- 37:45Speaker 2: brown community. Again, y'all, as we close out Mental Health
- 37:51Speaker 2: Awareness Month, it does not stop. Mental Health Awareness is
- 37:55Speaker 2: a three hundred and sixty five day thing for me twenty.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Four to seven because I am I am a overcomer,
- 38:03Speaker 1: I am a warrior, I am a conqueror, because I
- 38:07Speaker 1: deal with these things, and I want other people to
- 38:10Speaker 1: know that you can. You can't still function, you can
- 38:14Speaker 1: still thrive, you can still walk in your purpose and
- 38:17Speaker 1: deal with those things.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Because we have to understand too.
- 38:20Speaker 1: If we read and we understand our Bible, there were
- 38:23Speaker 1: people in the Bible that deal with anxiety, depression, and
- 38:26Speaker 1: all those other things everything that we're dealing with. Know
- 38:29Speaker 1: that people before us deal with those same things. He's
- 38:33Speaker 1: already made a way out. He provided us with resources,
- 38:38Speaker 1: he provided us with doctors. They are here for a reason. No,
- 38:44Speaker 1: they may not be able to do all of the
- 38:47Speaker 1: work because then now once you get your diagnosis, now
- 38:51Speaker 1: you know what you're dealing with. Now you figned out,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you can research yourself. You can find out what you
- 38:58Speaker 1: need to do to be the best version of yourself.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Because at the end of the day, y'all, we got
- 39:03Speaker 1: to understand that doctors, y'all, they have a license to practice.
- 39:09Speaker 1: They are not the say it all, know it all,
- 39:12Speaker 1: the end of it all. Because they have a license
- 39:15Speaker 1: to practice, they're practicing on you. They're they're practicing these
- 39:18Speaker 1: different drugs. They're practicing. They're not they're not the final
- 39:23Speaker 1: say so as they can practice, so can you. So
- 39:29Speaker 1: when when when things are I'm telling you you need
- 39:34Speaker 1: to know what's going on with you and learn how
- 39:38Speaker 1: to incorporate, y'all, the word. He don't give us all
- 39:42Speaker 1: the things that we need. We got to learn how
- 39:44Speaker 1: to put that word in our life and apply it
- 39:45Speaker 1: to our life. Because we pick up that Bible and
- 39:47Speaker 1: it may say John, it may say Mark, it may
- 39:50Speaker 1: say Mary, it may say Susie, it may say how
- 39:53Speaker 1: whole lot of other names. But you got to learn
- 39:55Speaker 1: how to put your name in the place of those names.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Because what he did for one, he said he would
- 40:00Speaker 1: do for us all. So we got to know that
- 40:03Speaker 1: and we gotta understand that, and we got to believe that.
- 40:07Speaker 2: So know that. So I am Queen Angela.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I am the visionary of AA L a C, which
- 40:14Speaker 1: is African American out the Legacy were in this campaign,
- 40:16Speaker 1: also the visionary of The Crew podcast, which is an
- 40:20Speaker 1: amazing all female network of podcasters.
- 40:24Speaker 2: We are a diverse group of podcasters.
- 40:26Speaker 1: We come from social workers, professors, librarians, medical workers.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Individuals with disabilities, entrepreneurs, you name.
- 40:39Speaker 1: It, we are that group. We're all authors in our
- 40:43Speaker 1: own rights. Some of us are do publishing, we are coaches.
- 40:49Speaker 1: We do a lot, but we're able to share other
- 40:53Speaker 1: people's perspectives. We're able to share them through the outlets
- 40:57Speaker 1: that we have. We have a magazine and we also
- 41:01Speaker 1: have a grief support group. We on live on The
- 41:06Speaker 1: Crew podcast every fifth Sunday, So whenever there's a fifth Sunday.
- 41:10Speaker 2: In the month, we will be on live. We will
- 41:13Speaker 2: be sharing this.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Coming up in June, we're gonna have two guests on
- 41:19Speaker 1: and we're just gonna be talking and sharing. Matter of fact,
- 41:22Speaker 1: one of our co hosts is also going to be
- 41:25Speaker 1: one of our guests because she has been dealing with
- 41:28Speaker 1: she's had to deal with the grief process of losing
- 41:31Speaker 1: her mom. So she's gonna be on that podcast with us.
- 41:35Speaker 1: If you are dealing with grief, I encourage you to
- 41:39Speaker 1: follow us. We are on Facebook. We are the Healing
- 41:43Speaker 1: Voices NAVI Navigating through Grief. That is the name of
- 41:48Speaker 1: our podcast. And again I say we air every fifth Sunday.
- 41:54Speaker 1: We are also we are also attached to the Matters
- 41:59Speaker 1: of the Art conference is a quarterly conference. We're getting
- 42:04Speaker 1: ready to go into our third. Our third conference. I
- 42:08Speaker 1: think we had the first one back in February. The
- 42:11Speaker 1: second one was the beginning of this month May, and
- 42:15Speaker 1: then we're gonna have the third one. It's gonna be
- 42:19Speaker 1: in August, and then we'll close out in November with
- 42:22Speaker 1: our fourth conference. And it's called Matters of the Heart
- 42:26Speaker 1: because we all know that God deals with our heart.
- 42:29Speaker 1: He deals with our heart, and if we are passionate
- 42:32Speaker 1: about those things, if we place it on our heart,
- 42:35Speaker 1: if we place it down in our heart, we can
- 42:38Speaker 1: see and we can see how God works in our life,
- 42:43Speaker 1: how He moves in our life. But y'all, we have
- 42:45Speaker 1: to put it in our heart. A lot of us
- 42:48Speaker 1: we have good intentions, but it's really not what's in
- 42:53Speaker 1: our heart. So we wonder why things don't always go
- 42:57Speaker 1: the way that we want them to go. I tell you,
- 43:00Speaker 1: God deals with the matters of your heart. You put
- 43:02Speaker 1: it in your heart, and you truly, you truly mean it.
- 43:06Speaker 1: It's gonna come to pass. It's gonna manifest in your life.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And we have to learn how to use these words
- 43:13Speaker 1: that he's given us. Now he's given us the instructions
- 43:17Speaker 1: in the Bible. He's given us these instructions like this
- 43:21Speaker 1: is the basic. It is the basic instructions before leaving earth.
- 43:28Speaker 1: So we have to apply these things. No, everything in
- 43:33Speaker 1: there may.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Not work for you, because you have your.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Own journey, you have your own everything were all made
- 43:40Speaker 1: up different, so it may not exactly.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Work for you. But you'll never know what will work if.
- 43:46Speaker 1: You're not applying. So a lot of us we're sitting
- 43:48Speaker 1: and we're waiting. We're waiting for things to fall out
- 43:51Speaker 1: the sky. We're waiting for things to happen that's not
- 43:53Speaker 1: going to happen. We have to be we have to
- 43:58Speaker 1: be the blueprint of our our lives. If you want
- 44:01Speaker 1: to leave a legacy, you have to get out here
- 44:05Speaker 1: and do something to leave a legacy. A legacy is
- 44:08Speaker 1: just not gonna fall out the sky.
- 44:10Speaker 2: You know, no one is.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Coming to help you. He told us to look to
- 44:14Speaker 1: the heels from which our help comes. And it was
- 44:16Speaker 1: just to remind us. If we look up and we
- 44:19Speaker 1: look out and we see all of this amazing stuff
- 44:21Speaker 1: out here, he our daddy owns it. It belongs to
- 44:25Speaker 1: our daddy. Our daddy got all this. So guess what
- 44:29Speaker 1: If it belongs to our daddy, that means we got
- 44:31Speaker 1: access to it. And how do you get access to it?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Not by sitting down. You got to get up and
- 44:36Speaker 1: do something. He said, faith with God works is dead.
- 44:40Speaker 1: So if you're not doing anything but believing it ain't happening,
- 44:45Speaker 1: it ain't happening. And I do not want to be
- 44:47Speaker 1: one of those people that end up in that box.
- 44:51Speaker 1: And I got all these things inside of me that
- 44:53Speaker 1: I did not allow to come forth that He's placed
- 44:55Speaker 1: inside of me because he gives us gifts and talents.
- 45:00Speaker 1: And if you keep coming across this page, and you
- 45:02Speaker 1: keep coming across this live, you keep coming across the
- 45:06Speaker 1: the reals you keep coming across, then know that there's
- 45:08Speaker 1: something that you're supposed to be doing. Because stuff is
- 45:11Speaker 1: not gonna keep popping up and keep coming across your path.
- 45:15Speaker 1: If there's not something that you're supposed to be doing,
- 45:18Speaker 1: it's not a coincidence, because I don't believe in coincidence.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Everything is ordained.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He knew that this day would be this day before
- 45:25Speaker 1: I was even conceived. In my mother's room Jeremih twenty
- 45:28Speaker 1: nine and eleven. It says he declared. If he declared,
- 45:32Speaker 1: that means that he past him declared means past tend.
- 45:36Speaker 1: That means that he's already done this stuff for us.
- 45:40Speaker 1: When he said it was done, y'all, it was done.
- 45:42Speaker 1: There's nothing new following under the sky. There's nothing new.
- 45:46Speaker 1: There's no white savior horse coming out the sky to
- 45:50Speaker 1: save you. There's nobody coming to save you. If you
- 45:53Speaker 1: want to be saved, you gotta save yourself. How do
- 45:57Speaker 1: you save yourself? You gotta know who you are. You
- 46:00Speaker 1: gotta know what your purpose is. You gotta know why
- 46:02Speaker 1: you were placed here on this earth. There are people
- 46:05Speaker 1: that you're supposed to be impacted. No, we may not
- 46:08Speaker 1: reach everybody. It's not our job to reach everybody. We're
- 46:12Speaker 1: not gonna reach everybody, but you got to be able
- 46:14Speaker 1: to reach those that are in your path because you
- 46:18Speaker 1: don't want blood on your hands.
- 46:21Speaker 2: And that's how I have felt.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I felt like when I got out of place, when
- 46:28Speaker 1: I got out of course, there were people that were
- 46:31Speaker 1: depending on me. There were lives that could have been
- 46:34Speaker 1: railed when I was out there doing what I was
- 46:38Speaker 1: doing and not doing what I was supposed to be
- 46:40Speaker 1: doing when I got off course, when I got off track.
- 46:44Speaker 1: So now we got to make sure that we are
- 46:46Speaker 1: in a line.
- 46:48Speaker 2: No, we're not perfect.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I'm not saying you got to be perfect, but you
- 46:52Speaker 1: got to have a heart, a willing heart, a heart
- 46:57Speaker 1: that's willing to change, that's willing to train as form.
- 47:01Speaker 1: See when we repent and be willing to turn from
- 47:05Speaker 1: those things, y'all, God, he's just to forgive us. He's
- 47:09Speaker 1: said he will forgive us. And once he forgives us, y'all,
- 47:12Speaker 1: we just got to forgive ourselves and move on. We
- 47:15Speaker 1: can't continue to hold things over our head and hold
- 47:19Speaker 1: the past over our head. I'm often reminded by something
- 47:24Speaker 1: that one of my prayer best Desactioneeria. She's saying, it's
- 47:27Speaker 1: our past. It is our past that brought us to
- 47:30Speaker 1: this prayer line. It is our past that makes us
- 47:34Speaker 1: fall down on our knees. It is our past that
- 47:37Speaker 1: that that that pushes us and makes us want to
- 47:40Speaker 1: do right. So don't think we just got here, and
- 47:44Speaker 1: don't think that we are perfect, because we are not.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 47:48Speaker 1: We struggle a lot of us, A lot of these
- 47:50Speaker 1: people that you see doing this stuff, that's doing these lives,
- 47:54Speaker 1: that's that's that's coaches, that's motivational speakers, that's doing the
- 47:58Speaker 1: things that you see us doing. We're doing it because
- 48:01Speaker 1: the place that we come from and us not wanting
- 48:04Speaker 1: other people to go down the roads that we went down,
- 48:07Speaker 1: wanting other people to have better wanting people to not
- 48:10Speaker 1: have to go through what we en doing. So if
- 48:13Speaker 1: I can help loosen that, if I can help, you know,
- 48:16Speaker 1: make your.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Journey less uh.
- 48:22Speaker 1: But turn off and and hardship and less distractions, then
- 48:28Speaker 1: that's what I want to do. I want to be
- 48:31Speaker 1: a helpmate and not a distraction, and that's what we
- 48:37Speaker 1: should be doing. So I want to encourage you guys.
- 48:42Speaker 1: If you are authors and you are not attached to
- 48:45Speaker 1: the movement, I want you to get attached to the movement.
- 48:51Speaker 2: It's an opportunity for you to connect with other authors.
- 48:55Speaker 2: It's an opportunity for you to network. It's an opportunity
- 48:58Speaker 2: for you to be involved in the live events that
- 49:01Speaker 2: we do because we go out and we go to
- 49:04Speaker 2: different cities. We have currently the Chase in Your Dream
- 49:07Speaker 2: Book Tour. Were getting ready to head to Chicago. We're
- 49:10Speaker 2: headed into Spartanburg, South Carolina. We're headed to New York.
- 49:14Speaker 2: We're headed to.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Charleston, South Carolina, California, Riverside, California, and then we're gonna
- 49:26Speaker 1: close out in San Antonio, Texas. So you guys have
- 49:29Speaker 1: an opportunity to connect with other like minded authors if
- 49:33Speaker 1: you are an author and you're looking for a platform
- 49:36Speaker 1: an environment like that. We have a group chat and
- 49:41Speaker 1: then we have two pages that we uh well. We
- 49:45Speaker 1: have two groups and a page, and then we have
- 49:47Speaker 1: a group chat where we do a lot of our communication,
- 49:49Speaker 1: a lot of staying in communications with each other. If
- 49:53Speaker 1: you're on Facebook, we have a chat where we're inside
- 49:57Speaker 1: of the chat, we share in words. If there's any
- 50:03Speaker 1: opportunities that come up, say individuals are doing podcasting, they
- 50:08Speaker 1: have radio shows, they have magazines, there have been awards
- 50:11Speaker 1: that have come across. We share all of that inside
- 50:14Speaker 1: of that chat so that you can have an opportunity
- 50:17Speaker 1: to showcase your brand. It's not about competition over there.
- 50:20Speaker 1: It is all about us bringing these things to the
- 50:24Speaker 1: forefront so that if others want to participate. We have
- 50:27Speaker 1: individuals that have been nominated for awards and they come
- 50:30Speaker 1: and they share how they got nominated so that other
- 50:33Speaker 1: people can get nominated and share their brain. And that's
- 50:36Speaker 1: what it's all about. At the end of the day.
- 50:38Speaker 1: It's all about us helping and supporting each other go
- 50:42Speaker 1: to the next level and helping each other get visibility,
- 50:45Speaker 1: to get seen and to get heard. I'm new to
- 50:50Speaker 1: this over here on TikTok. I'm getting used to it.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I'm learning a little bit. I gotta know, I gotta
- 50:58Speaker 1: engage a little more. I'm not new to TikTok, but
- 51:01Speaker 1: as far as the lives and the engaging and the interaction,
- 51:06Speaker 1: that's something that I have not been doing. But it's
- 51:09Speaker 1: something that I'm going to do more of. I'm going
- 51:12Speaker 1: to do more of in the near future. We are
- 51:15Speaker 1: working on that now, so y'all will see me, y'all
- 51:19Speaker 1: will see me going.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Live right now. I am live on.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Most all of our platforms that we stream live through
- 51:26Speaker 1: which is substat.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I'm still trying to figure out how I can stream
- 51:40Speaker 1: TikTok through our streaming platform because we have.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I use.
- 51:50Speaker 1: EVEV moots even even it even moots whatever it's called.
- 51:57Speaker 1: That's a platform I use. It's something like stream yard,
- 52:00Speaker 1: but I like it. I like the graphic part of it.
- 52:04Speaker 1: It's more and then it's a lot clear. The volumes
- 52:08Speaker 1: are are good. Sometimes there is some issues, because y'all
- 52:11Speaker 1: know what all these technology and all these platforms. There
- 52:14Speaker 1: are issues, but the issues that we have sometimes don't
- 52:18Speaker 1: outweigh the benefits of the platform and the different things
- 52:22Speaker 1: that we're able to utilize with the platform. So I'm
- 52:25Speaker 1: grateful for that. I'm grateful for that and the upgrade
- 52:28Speaker 1: on that. Again, we have an opportunity to stream to
- 52:33Speaker 1: nine platforms at the same time. So that's we are
- 52:38Speaker 1: live now here on Twitch YouTube, and then I'm streaming
- 52:41Speaker 1: to five six different platform within Facebook's six different areas
- 52:49Speaker 1: within Facebook. I think, yeah, I got quite a few
- 52:52Speaker 1: pages on Facebook because I have quite a few different things.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That I do.
- 52:57Speaker 1: I have one for the podcast, have one for the magazine,
- 53:00Speaker 1: have one for my coaching program have one for the authors,
- 53:03Speaker 1: so I have quite a few different pages over there,
- 53:08Speaker 1: so we scream on those pages because we want to
- 53:10Speaker 1: keep everybody. We want to keep everybody in the loop.
- 53:12Speaker 1: We want everybody to know what's going on. But I think, y'all,
- 53:17Speaker 1: that's about it for me, I've shared a lot. The
- 53:22Speaker 1: most important thing is get involved in that twenty one
- 53:25Speaker 1: day challenge. Get involved in the one hundred author movement.
- 53:29Speaker 1: If you are not already attached, I'm telling you it
- 53:32Speaker 1: is an opportunity for you the network. If you are
- 53:36Speaker 1: someone that like to collaborate, like to partner, like to
- 53:40Speaker 1: support others while supporting yourself, and you want that same support,
- 53:46Speaker 1: then this is the group because we believe in support,
- 53:49Speaker 1: and we believe in network, and we believe in collaborating.
- 53:51Speaker 1: So definitely want you guys to join the group and
- 53:55Speaker 1: get attached to some of the things that we're doing.
- 53:57Speaker 1: We may be coming to your city. You can get
- 53:59Speaker 1: in and be a part of the event when it
- 54:02Speaker 1: comes to your city. See how you can be involved.
- 54:05Speaker 1: You have to be attached to the movement in order
- 54:08Speaker 1: to be involved, So get involved with the movement if
- 54:12Speaker 1: you want visibility, if you want to attach y'all come
- 54:16Speaker 1: on over, join the twenty one day Challenge and allow your.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Brand to be seen in her.
- 54:22Speaker 1: No'aw, it's up to you because you are the face
- 54:25Speaker 1: of your brand and nobody can tell your story like you.
- 54:29Speaker 1: So y'all get involved, get attached, and allow him to
- 54:33Speaker 1: move in your life. Y'all, when we move out of
- 54:36Speaker 1: the way, then he can move and he can do
- 54:38Speaker 1: the things that he want to do. So I'm on
- 54:41Speaker 1: pause for a moment. If y'all got some questions, post
- 54:45Speaker 1: your questions. Post your questions. If you got some comments,
- 54:48Speaker 1: do you like for me to read on the air?
- 54:50Speaker 1: Post your comments. I can read them, get them up
- 54:52Speaker 1: on the air. I want to thank everybody over on
- 54:56Speaker 1: TikTok that is chiming in. I appreciate you, guys. I
- 54:59Speaker 1: appreciate you guys. I appreciate you for all the love.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Go ahead, shoot me some basketball. For all those that know,
- 55:05Speaker 1: I played basketball at Morris Brown here at Atlanta, So
- 55:09Speaker 1: my little gift over on TikTok is the basketball. So
- 55:13Speaker 1: y'all shoot me some basketballs. If you win, show me
- 55:16Speaker 1: some love and support here on TikTok. And if you

- 55:33Speaker 1: You can send some stars, or you can subscribe. You
- 55:36Speaker 1: can subscribe if you on Facebook, you can't substrive to
- 55:42Speaker 1: the platform. That way, whenever I go live, you will
- 55:46Speaker 1: definitely be notified of the lives. Anytime we go live
- 55:49Speaker 1: with the podcast anything, you will be in the loop.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Only ninety nine cent a month, y'all, that would be
- 55:55Speaker 1: the best nine to nine cent. I promise you that
- 55:58Speaker 1: you've invested in yourself, not nine cent a month to
- 56:00Speaker 1: subscrive over there on my platform. And that is last
- 56:06Speaker 1: name first, Smith, Thomas Angela, Smith Thomas Angela. That is
- 56:11Speaker 1: the platform on Facebook, y'all, go over subscribe only ninety

- 56:21Speaker 1: support the things that I do. I often hear people
- 56:23Speaker 1: say that they love what I do. If you love
- 56:26Speaker 1: what I do, invest that not a nine cent, y'all,
- 56:29Speaker 1: It's only not a nine.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Cent And I'm sure get you get your note a nine.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Cent value by the content that I post, the nuggets
- 56:37Speaker 1: that I drop, the things that I do, You're definitely

- 56:48Speaker 1: only nine a nine cent. That ninety nine cent will
- 56:50Speaker 1: help me continue to be able to breathe the content.

- 58:40Speaker 1: great opportunity to share your brand. Again, you are connected
- 58:43Speaker 1: to approximately ninety nine other individuals. We may have some
- 58:49Speaker 1: authors that are not active, but it does not stop
- 58:52Speaker 1: us from utilizing the.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Ones that are active.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So you have an opportunity to connect with nine nine
- 59:00Speaker 1: other like minded individuals that it's out here.
- 59:04Speaker 2: What we have. One thing that we all have in
- 59:07Speaker 2: coming is we all have a story. We all have
- 59:11Speaker 2: a story.
- 59:11Speaker 1: We all have something that somebody else can benefit from.
- 59:16Speaker 1: The one thing is are you willing to share that story?
- 59:20Speaker 1: Are you willing to be vulnerable enough to allow individuals
- 59:23Speaker 1: to connect with you? So the other individuals can be
- 59:26Speaker 1: healed as you heal. That's what I say. We are
- 59:30Speaker 1: healing and we allow on others to heal as we
- 59:33Speaker 1: heal by sharing our story, by sharing our perspective, by
- 59:37Speaker 1: doing those things that we're doing. So I encourage you guys,
- 59:42Speaker 1: do not sit by and be idle. Utilize those gifts
- 59:49Speaker 1: and those talents. If you have a gift of writing poetry,
- 59:54Speaker 1: write some poetry, find out.
- 59:57Speaker 2: How you can.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Not how you can incorporate your poetry into a business.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: So I have several people that.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: They said they just started writing poetry and then people
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: would just ask them to write different things for different things.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: So they was they started. I have some that started
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: a business. She does birthdays, she do graduations, any type
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: of event that somebody wants a special personalized poem, they usually.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Reach out to her.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: She does the poems, she even does a little design,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: she frames it and then she ships it to them. Yeah,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: there's all types of things that you can incorporate with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: your brand, with your books, with your whatever it is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: that you're doing. Give gift boxes every month. Like if
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you have a book and you have you can create
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a book club that has a gift box and you
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: can send out a gift box every month, you can
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: do prizes like y'all. There's so much stuff that you
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: can do as an author to push your brand and
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: to really develop a community, and just because y'all.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: And then you gotta think to y'all.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: A lot of us we go in these groups and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: we're just posting our books, and we're thinking that, hey,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: these people, if you're not connecting with them, they're not
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: gonna buy your book. People want to know who you are.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: And that has been the concisest across various platforms that
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I have been on. I've interviewed people, I've talked to people,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I've sit down and even talking with readers and those
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: that buy your book, you know, one of the things
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: that they'd say is they want to connect to the author.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: They want to know who the author is. They want
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to get a like cause some of these people when
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: they reading your book, they are really thinking that they're
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: in your life, that they are a part of your life.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So that's the connection that they want. So you have
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to be able to provide that connection. You have to
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: be relatable. We have to be relatable. We can't just
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: assume that you know, because people follow us that.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: They can relate to us.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And then sometimes people follow us and we may not
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: even be who they need, but they know that because
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: of the things that we do that people may come across,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: so they stay on the platform and they follow.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: But you may be the person that the person on
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: my platform is in need of.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But if you're not coming forth and showing yourself, utilizing
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: the opportunity to make yourself known, then how would they
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: know you? How would they know your services? How would
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: they know what books you provide? How would they know
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: your coaching program? How would they know anything about you?
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: If you are not sharing.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Sometimes we are our worst enemy because a lot of
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: us we want to move in silence.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: We want to stay behind the scenes. We don't want
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: to come to the forefront.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: We want to be private people because we don't want
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: people to know who we are. Honestly, you know what
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: that what private? What that's all about. That's still some
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: healing that needs to take place. To be honest, that's
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: still some healing that need to take place. Because he
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: didn't tell us to be in secret here. The only
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: thing that he said for us to do in secret
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: was to pray and to to to fast and when
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: you're doing that anyway, that is something that you're doing
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: for yourself. You're not doing it for anyone else.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: So it should be done in secret.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: But when you're out here in pact the lives, and
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you're out here, if you're saying.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: You're a speaker, you're a motivation, there's.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: No way that you can move in silence. There's no
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: way that you can move secretly. And you're an influencer
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and you're supposed to be impacting lives. You're supposed to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: be that change. You can't be quiet and stay in
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the background and think that you're gonna be able to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: influence and impact anybody.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Because the first thing when people see you, they're gonna
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: think you give it in. They're gonna they don't want
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: to be I don't know what they gonna know. They
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: need to see you out in the front.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: They need to see you moving and operating in that
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: that God has called you too. I'm telling you that
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: because I used to be that person, y'all. I used
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: to be that person. I used to think that because
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I didn't have all the accolades.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Didn't have all of the degrees, I.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Didn't have all of the education, I didn't have all
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: of the things that people were throwing around that hey,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I wasn't hey, I wasn't up there on they level.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: So I was just staying in the background, just doing
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: what I knew that I thought I was supposed to
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: be doing, and just doing it and just making it
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: do what it does. And then God kept placing me
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in the midst of people. He kept placing me in
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: the circle with people. And every time I would get
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: placed in the circle with people, this would be one
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: of the things that they would say. It's not about titles,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: it's not about degrees, it's not about education. But it's
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: about that that God is placed in you. He's given
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: us all gifts and talents in his word Proverbs eighteen
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and sixteen and say he will make room for you.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Your gifts will make room for you and make you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: great before men. And that is paraphrase. But if you
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: go over to Proverbs eighteen and sixteen, you can read
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: it for yourself. Not only read it for yourself, speak
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: it over your life and allow it to be life
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: so that it can manifest in your life. To a
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: lot of we see this stuff, we read this stuff,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: but we don't believe it and then we don't even
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: speak it over our lives, y'all. I had to speak
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Jeremiah twenty nine eleven over my life. I had to
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: recite that to myself. I had to repeat it to myself,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: repeat it to myself, repeat it to myself. Until one
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: day I got up and I realized that I had
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a purpose, because when God dropped it in my spirit,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I was like, ain't no way I'm supposed to have
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: a purpose in going through all of this.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: There's no way this is my purpose.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Going through domestic violence on the brink of committing suicide suicide,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I was suicidal and going through domestic violence, and I
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: was like, ain't no way this can be my purpose,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: not knowing that everything that I endured, everything that I
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: went through, y'all, made me able to be able to
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: do the stuff that I'm doing now. If I not
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: went through domestic violence, if I had not been shot
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: blank range with a side off shotgun, how would I
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: be able to host the twenty four hour domestic Violence
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Awareness Conference and give other individuals, other advocates, and other
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: survivors and opportunity to share their story, to connect with
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: other people so that they know that they don't have
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: to go through this, that they're not alone on this journey.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: But I had to go through it. If I'm not
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: endo it, how could I be here telling you about
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: it today. So whatever you're going through, whatever you have
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: went through, know that it was necessary. It was required,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: It was a part of the process because if you
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: not went through it, you wouldn't be able to tell
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: somebody else how you got through it.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: And because you got through it, you're.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Able to help somebody else. So hold on to that
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: and trust the process and know that there's nothing, nothing,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: that God has all out to come upon you that
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: he didn't already know.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: He knew it before we were even in our mother's womb.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: He knew everything that was gonna take place in our life.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: So trust and believe that he's already made a way out.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: He's already made a way out, he's already ordained and
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: mapped it out. Now it's up to you to walk
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: into it. It's up to you to walk into it.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: It's up to you to catch up with your destiny.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: And if you don't know what your destiny is, if
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you don't know what your purpose is, if you don't
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: know what it is that you're supposed to be doing, y'all.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: We got coaches over here. I am a coach, you
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: see right here. Coach I can help you. I can
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: help you tap into those gifts and those talents that's
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: on the inside of you, because y'all, they're there. You
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: didn't get dropped out of the sky. You were tritgively
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: placed in this earth, and you were placed here for
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: a reason. It's up to us to discover what those
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: reasons are. Find out what it is that we're supposed
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to be doing, how we are supposed to be impacting lives,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: because that is what we're supposed to be doing. Walk
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: in your destiny, catch up with your destiny. Allow those
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: things that he said, those things that have been spoken
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: over your life, and those things that have been prophesied
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: over your life, y'all, allow them to manifest, allow them
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: to come to pass.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: How do you do that.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: You gotta get out here and do something. You can't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: keep sitting down and expecting things to happen in your life.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stop saying it. You gotta get up,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: you gotta move, you gotta put some off behind it.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: We got books in us, we got podcasts in US,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: we got magazine articles in US. We got so much
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: in us that need to come out so that it
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: can impact the world. Y'all, there is a world of
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: people hurting them that are looking for directions, that are
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: looking for a way out. And God has equipped some
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: of us to be that beacon of light for others.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: But yet some of us sit and we're not being obedient.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: To that that He has called us to. Some of
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: us here they're hearing it and ignoring it. But it
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere. It ain't going nowhere. So if you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: keep coming to process this platform and you keep hearing
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: the same thing, just humble yourself. Just humble yourself and say, Lord,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: show me the way. You know, I had to move
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: out my way and I just had to say, Lord,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: I just use me. I am willing and just use me.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: You just got to be willing to work unto the
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Lord and not unto people, because when you work unto people,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: people have expectations, and you can't have expectations when you're
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: dealing with people because we are all different. So when
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: you work unto the Lord, your expectation is that God is.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Gonna do for you what you do for others. I
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: believe it.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: When when my apostle, doctor Kimberlee Thomas say it, I
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: believe it, and she said it so much to y'all.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I share it everywhere I go because I believe that thing,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and I believe that what you do for others, God
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: will do for you. So trust him on today, whatever
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you're standing in need of on today, trust him and
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: believe that he's yet working on your behalf, that he's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: already worked it out. So whatever it is that you
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: need to walk into that you need to do, because y'all,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: we have to do the work. We can't just expect
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: things to happen. So I challenge you, get involved. Get involved,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Get involved. You have an opportunity to allow your brand
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: to speak, to allow your brand to be heard, to
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: allow your brand to be seen.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Do it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You can do it through the one hundred Author Movement.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: You can do it through the twenty one Day Challenge.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: If you just want to get a feel of who
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: we are and what we do over on the various
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: platforms attached to the Queen of Collaboration, this is your
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: opportunity to connect, get involved, and allow God.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: To do what he said he would do. In your life,
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: move about your way.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: And let him be y'all. I think my time here
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: is almost up. I'm gonna hang around a few more
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: minutes because I'm trying to do this challenge. I'm trying
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: to be obedient. I'm trying to partake in this challenge
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: over here on TikTok and trying to really see how
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: this works. Not just on TikTok, but y'all, I really
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: want to engage and to really get our community involved
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: and see how we can get some more other community's involved.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: If you are an urban lit author, street lit author,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: real life story author, or if you have a topic
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: that cannot be talked about nor doing normal so called
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: when our babies are up, but you want to say,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you got a topic on incests or essays or domestic
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: violence or things of that nature that may not can
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: be talked about during prime time while the kids are up. Y'all,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I am launching a podcast called The Real in Raw
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Author Slunge starting July seventh. July seventh is going to
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: be our first day that we air online. It's a
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: safe place for those that have those type of topics.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: If you have a memoir or you have something that
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: may not be appropriate for those babies, and the hours
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: when those babies are up, that ten o'clock hour on Mondays,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: it's gonna be that time where you can come through.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: You can share those those topics that may be set,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: those topics that you know may raise some controversy or
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: may raise some eyebrows, but you want to share them.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: We want you to be able to share it in
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: a safe place. So we have established a real en
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: raw author slounge for those urban lit, those street lit,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: those real life stories, those stories on essays, the d M,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: the domestic violence incences, those things like that. We want
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to provide a space for you. So start in July seventh,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: ten pm Eastern Standard time, we're gonna be going live
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: on the Crew podcast and it's gonna be a our
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: show where we're gonna be sharing maybe whatever the topic
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: is for that day, what's hot in the news. May
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: have an author interview, may have a panel discussion, however
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: we're led that week, that's what we're gonna do. We're
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: opening it up because we want to be able to
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: provide an outlet for discussion. Y'ad, it's time to be
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: able to discuss some of these things. That people have
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: been brushing under the rug, people have been putting aside,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: and they've not been undressing them.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: When you don't address stuff, when you brush it under
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the rug, guess what that rug. That rug begins to
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: build up and that rug becomes a mountain. So now
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: it's time to uncover that rug and deal with some
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: of those things that's under that rug. Get that rug
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: cleaned up so it can be flat again and people
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: won't be tripping because when the rugs start rising up,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: people don't trip over. So let's get some things in
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: order again. Get attached to the one hundred. Get attached
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to the one hundred after movement. If you are an
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: author or creative, someone that is looking to connect, collaborate,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: curl and community at cakes, so we have connect, collaborate, create.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: And community t Bill.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: If that is you, we want you to join us

- 1:16:24Speaker 1: guys to share this with somebody, Share this with somebody
