- 0:10Speaker 1: This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
- 0:14Speaker 2: People love him and respect him. Roger Stone.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Now, give him a zone. It's The Stone Zone. Here's
- 0:21Speaker 1: Roger Stone.
- 0:24Speaker 3: You are now entering The Stone Zone. Yesterday in my
- 0:28Speaker 3: show and also On my website, Stone Cold Truth, I
- 0:33Speaker 3: finally published the fact that I've been watching what's happening
- 0:36Speaker 3: in Ukraine, and I've concluded that it's time, in fact,
- 0:41Speaker 3: past time, for the United States to cut off the
- 0:44Speaker 3: endless aid pipeline to Ukraine and stop propping up President Zelensky.
- 0:50Speaker 3: President Trump tried to do the right and practical and
- 0:52Speaker 3: sensible thing for American families and energy markets. He announced
- 0:57Speaker 3: an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, effective immediately, so
- 1:02Speaker 3: that neither side would keep hitting each other's energy infrastructure.
- 1:06Speaker 3: He also negotiated a deal with the Russians to sell
- 1:12Speaker 3: diesel fuel, both to the United States and to other
- 1:15Speaker 3: countries around the world. This matters a lot at home.
- 1:18Speaker 3: High diesel and fuel prices hit truckers, farmers, families at
- 1:22Speaker 3: the pump, and manufacturers. Trump has been clear Ukrainian strikes
- 1:27Speaker 3: on Russian refineries had been driving up those costs, and
- 1:31Speaker 3: then he worked out a deal to get more diesel
- 1:33Speaker 3: flowing to the United States as well as other global markets.
- 1:37Speaker 3: The goal was simple. Stop the mutual destruction of energy assets,
- 1:41Speaker 3: lower prices, and then create space for real negotiations to
- 1:46Speaker 3: finally end this war. What happened? Well, within hours, the
- 1:51Speaker 3: ceasefire was treated as optional by the Ukrainians, reports came
- 1:55Speaker 3: in of continued strikes on energy targets in Russia. Zelensky
- 1:59Speaker 3: publicly said Ukraine had paused and then declared, we're done,
- 2:04Speaker 3: violating the agreement he just made, and resumed attacks on
- 2:08Speaker 3: Russian refineries, including the Ryazan facility and others. He framed it,
- 2:13Speaker 3: of course, as a response to Russia's action. And the
- 2:17Speaker 3: president himself noted there have been violations on both sides.
- 2:21Speaker 3: But the bottom line for Americans is, Ukraine is far broader.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We have literally paid hundreds of billions of dollars in
- 2:30Speaker 3: both military and humanitarian aid and other associated costs. Much
- 2:37Speaker 3: of that money cannot be accounted for. It is abundantly
- 2:41Speaker 3: clear that Zelensky, who was thumbing his nose at the
- 2:45Speaker 3: president with this action, has no intention of settling the
- 2:49Speaker 3: war anytime soon, nor do those NATO nations who are
- 2:53Speaker 3: propping him up while not paying their fair share for
- 2:57Speaker 3: Ukraine's defense. It's important to point out again that when
- 3:03Speaker 3: East and West Germany were reunited with the approval of
- 3:08Speaker 3: the Russians, we in turn agreed that we would not
- 3:11Speaker 3: push Ukraine into NATO. Not one inch east, said Secretary
- 3:17Speaker 3: of State James A. Baker, and that was codified in
- 3:22Speaker 3: both the Budapest Memorandum and the Minsk Accords. Joe Biden
- 3:27Speaker 3: and Barack Obama violated that. Barack Obama gave them Crimea,
- 3:33Speaker 3: the richest part of Ukraine, and Joe Biden decided to
- 3:37Speaker 3: move forward and push Ukraine into NATO, which the Russians
- 3:42Speaker 3: view as NATO missiles mounted on the ground pointed at Russia.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Not at all different, by the way, than the situation
- 3:52Speaker 3: that America faced in 1962 when the Soviets placed Russian
- 3:58Speaker 3: missiles 90 miles from the shores of Florida. It is
- 4:05Speaker 3: absolutely clear that Zelensky has no intention of ending this war.
- 4:09Speaker 3: He is now conscripting 16-year-olds to be sent to the
- 4:14Speaker 3: front and be cannon fodder. Let me be clear that anybody,
- 4:19Speaker 3: like the neocons and the globalists who now attack me
- 4:24Speaker 3: as a Russophile, my family was mowed down by Russian
- 4:28Speaker 3: tanks in Budapest in 1956. I'm no fan of Vladimir
- 4:33Speaker 3: Putin or his system of government. But don't tell me
- 4:36Speaker 3: that Ukraine is a democracy or that this is about democracy,
- 4:40Speaker 3: because he will not allow elections. He has outlawed every
- 4:44Speaker 3: political party but his. He has arrested priests and pastors.
- 4:49Speaker 3: He has closed the single largest church in the country.
- 4:53Speaker 3: He regularly closes down newspapers, radio stations, and arrests journalists.
- 4:59Speaker 3: There is no democracy in Ukraine, just as there is
- 5:03Speaker 3: no real democracy in Russia. So look, I expect all
- 5:08Speaker 3: the incoming that I will get being called a Russian
- 5:11Speaker 3: stooge and so on by the neocons, but Zelensky is
- 5:15Speaker 3: making a fool of Uncle Sam And Donald Trump has
- 5:19Speaker 3: the courage and I think is very clear. He's already
- 5:22Speaker 3: expressed a desire to replace Zelensky. But since there are
- 5:26Speaker 3: no elections, that's not going to happen. It is time
- 5:29Speaker 3: to cut the financial thread and stop pissing away literally
- 5:34Speaker 3: millions of dollars. Proving that we here in the Stone
- 5:39Speaker 3: Zone are not a partisan outfit, I'll report on an
- 5:43Speaker 3: extraordinary story from Florida. where there is a skin-tight race
- 5:48Speaker 3: for governor going on. The Republican Party of Florida is
- 5:51Speaker 3: threatening criminal prosecution of television stations and the Democratic Party
- 5:57Speaker 3: by the terms of its own somewhat convoluted legal theory
- 6:00Speaker 3: that anyone who speaks about a Leon County grand jury's
- 6:04Speaker 3: finding that high-ranking state officials diverted $ 10 million in the Hope,
- 6:11Speaker 3: Florida scandal should be fined and those spots should be
- 6:15Speaker 3: removed from the air. The facts here are pretty clear.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Ron and Casey DeSantis diverted $ 10 million in federal Medicare
- 6:24Speaker 3: funds to a dark money political committee they used to
- 6:28Speaker 3: fund a constitutional statewide amendment campaign against legalizing marijuana. This
- 6:34Speaker 3: money was earmarked for the poor, the elderly, and the handicapped.
- 6:38Speaker 3: James Uthmeyer, who was then the governor's chief of staff
- 6:41Speaker 3: but now the appointed attorney general, facilitated the transfer. Then
- 6:46Speaker 3: Attorney General Ashley Moody, now appointed to the U.S. Senate,
- 6:50Speaker 3: approved the transaction. The Florida State House held revelatory hearings
- 6:55Speaker 3: on the matter. Ultimately, the perpetrators returned the $ 10 million,
- 7:01Speaker 3: but took it not from state Medicare funds, but pardon me,
- 7:04Speaker 3: took it from state Medicare funds, not from their own
- 7:07Speaker 3: political coffers to which the money they grabbed had flown.
- 7:12Speaker 3: When initially asked about this illicit transfer, Governor DeSantis urged
- 7:16Speaker 3: reporters to ask his wife since the HOPE project was,
- 7:20Speaker 3: as he put it, her thing. The governor's defenders claim
- 7:24Speaker 3: that the $ 10 million came from a fine that had
- 7:27Speaker 3: been levied against a company who was caught overcharging the
- 7:32Speaker 3: Medicare system. This argument doesn't hold water because the fines
- 7:36Speaker 3: still belong to the state Medicare system and should have
- 7:38Speaker 3: been used to fund Medicare programs themselves. not to illicitly
- 7:42Speaker 3: fund a campaign against those the desanti, as I like
- 7:46Speaker 3: to call them, oppose. Despite the law, this is an
- 7:49Speaker 3: egregious violation of both state and federal law. A grand
- 7:54Speaker 3: jury in Orange County released a presentment rather than indictments
- 7:59Speaker 3: and then sealed those documents so people, also known as voters,
- 8:03Speaker 3: would not know precisely what had happened. For some reason,
- 8:08Speaker 3: there is no report other than a clean bill of
- 8:12Speaker 3: health from then Attorney General Pam Bondi. We know nothing
- 8:16Speaker 3: about the level of investigation by the feds. But the
- 8:20Speaker 3: grand jury presentment was sealed by the judge, as I say.
- 8:26Speaker 3: The grand jury presentment leaked and then was widely reported
- 8:30Speaker 3: in the media, including in the Miami Herald, the Tampa
- 8:33Speaker 3: Bay Tribune, CBS News. Miami, and elsewhere. Since the revelations
- 8:40Speaker 3: the grand jury's presenting is not in any way a crime,
- 8:43Speaker 3: even though the Republicans say it is, the grand jury proceedings, therefore,
- 8:47Speaker 3: have not been challenged as inauthentic or inaccurate, and they're
- 8:52Speaker 3: now in the public domain. Interestingly enough, this scandal does
- 8:55Speaker 3: not touch Republican Governor Gubernatorial nominee Byron Donalds, who has
- 9:00Speaker 3: not defended the actions but has referred reporters questioning him
- 9:04Speaker 3: about it to Governor Ron DeSantis for answers. In a
- 9:08Speaker 3: lawsuit filed last Friday and a letter sent the same
- 9:12Speaker 3: day to station managers across Central Florida, the Republican Party
- 9:16Speaker 3: argues that the grand jury's report and its findings became
- 9:20Speaker 3: contraband on October 7th when a state appeals court ordered
- 9:24Speaker 3: the report erased. Under the party's novel legal theory, broadcasting
- 9:29Speaker 3: the report's content gist or import is now a first-degree
- 9:33Speaker 3: misdemeanor and criminal contempt of court. It also requested the
- 9:38Speaker 3: Florida Department of Law Enforcement and prosecutors to investigate the
- 9:42Speaker 3: media stations. The verified complaint, filed in Highland County Circuit Court,
- 9:48Speaker 3: asks a judge to issue a temporary restraining order without
- 9:51Speaker 3: any notice to the other side. It names the Florida
- 9:54Speaker 3: Democratic Party, three of the four statewide Democratic candidates, and
- 9:58Speaker 3: the owners of 11 television stations in the Orlando, Tampa
- 10:02Speaker 3: Bay markets, including WFTV, WESH, WKMG, WOFL, WTVT, WFLA, WTPSP,
- 10:14Speaker 3: and WFTS. The target is a 30-second spot paid for
- 10:19Speaker 3: by the Democrat Party and approved by their candidates. The
- 10:24Speaker 3: ad says, and I quote, a leaked grand jury report
- 10:27Speaker 3: found taxpayer money was quietly moved into a dark money
- 10:31Speaker 3: political committee that James Uthmeyer controlled, not to the Florida
- 10:35Speaker 3: families it was meant for. They found $ 10 million misappropriated.
- 10:39Speaker 3: It closes with the words conspiracy, concealment, corruption. Uthmeyer... who
- 10:45Speaker 3: is now the sitting Attorney General, is on the November
- 10:49Speaker 3: 3rd ballot. The Republican Party complaint describes him as a
- 10:53Speaker 3: candidate the advertisement targets. The suit rests with the First
- 10:58Speaker 3: District Court of Appeals, October 7 opinion written by one
- 11:01Speaker 3: Judge Lance Neff, ordering the 116-page presentment expunged in its entirety.
- 11:08Speaker 3: That ruling, as has been widely reported, was issued only
- 11:12Speaker 3: after the party fighting to make the report public was
- 11:15Speaker 3: kept from learning that the appeal even existed. Very questionable.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Under the court's own rulings, the ruling is not final
- 11:22Speaker 3: until 15 days after it was entered or until disposition
- 11:26Speaker 3: of any motion for rehearing. So at the earliest, the
- 11:29Speaker 3: ruling would not go into effect until this Friday, which
- 11:32Speaker 3: means that people across Florida will see these advertisements all weekend.
- 11:37Speaker 3: When asked whether the lawsuit was premature since the filing
- 11:40Speaker 3: is not yet final, the Republican Party Chair Evan Powers
- 11:43Speaker 3: told the media they're not going to change their minds. Meanwhile,
- 11:49Speaker 3: the appellate court has ordered State Attorney Jack Campbell of
- 11:53Speaker 3: Orange County to explain why the courts should not appoint
- 11:56Speaker 3: a special master to investigate how the unredacted grand jury
- 12:01Speaker 3: reached the media and whether the court's injunction was violated.
- 12:05Speaker 3: The court order also instructed the state's attorney, a Democrat,
- 12:09Speaker 3: to demonstrate why he should not be sanctioned for an
- 12:12Speaker 3: August 26 email to lawyers for Uthmeyer and others suggesting
- 12:16Speaker 3: a clerk of the appeals court or the Leon County
- 12:19Speaker 3: clerk were responsible for the leak and why he should
- 12:21Speaker 3: not be referred to the Florida Bar for discipline. Campbell
- 12:25Speaker 3: is required to provide answers under oath within five days.
- 12:29Speaker 3: The Republican Party argues the ruling changes the legal status
- 12:33Speaker 3: of the report's contents. But the grand jury summarized that
- 12:36Speaker 3: witness testimony, as the party says, anyone who knows broadcasts
- 12:40Speaker 3: the content, gist, or import of that testimony is violating
- 12:44Speaker 3: law 905.27 of the Florida statutes. A violation is a
- 12:48Speaker 3: first-degree misdemeanor, for one can be sent to jail. The
- 12:53Speaker 3: law is then straightforward, according to party lawyer Benjamin Gibson
- 12:57Speaker 3: of Schutts and Bowen, writing to the station managers Friday,
- 13:01Speaker 3: knowingly broadcasting these advertisements built on the contents of confidential
- 13:05Speaker 3: presentment is criminal conduct in Florida. I don't know any
- 13:08Speaker 3: lawyer who agrees with that assertion. Gibson's letter went further
- 13:12Speaker 3: than the lawsuit. It told the stations the party was
- 13:15Speaker 3: referring the matter to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
- 13:19Speaker 3: and relevant prosecutorial authorities. This story gets deeper and deeper.
- 13:24Speaker 3: The Democrat Party's, the Republican Party's desperation for the facts
- 13:29Speaker 3: regarding this case not to be known is quite extraordinary.
- 13:33Speaker 3: When we come back, I will tell you the rest
- 13:36Speaker 3: of this story, a story of deep Florida politics in
- 13:39Speaker 3: the Sunshine State.
- 13:41Speaker 4: The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple
- 13:46Speaker 4: Podcast Network.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The Stone Zone This is the Stone Zone. Now, give
- 14:02Speaker 1: him a zone. It's the Stone Zone.
- 14:05Speaker 5: A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going
- 14:09Speaker 5: and he's smart and he's strong.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And people love him. Not everybody, but people love him
- 14:14Speaker 2: and respect him. Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Here's Roger Stone.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Welcome back into the Stone Zone. We're talking about the
- 14:24Speaker 3: case in which Governor Ron DeSantis and his wife his
- 14:27Speaker 3: then Chief of Staff, now Attorney General, and his Attorney General,
- 14:31Speaker 3: now the U.S. Senator, were involved in siphoning $ 10 million
- 14:36Speaker 3: in taxpayer money from Medicare to use it for their
- 14:41Speaker 3: dark money political campaign opposing the statewide constitutional amendment. They
- 14:47Speaker 3: quietly returned that money because, well, taking it was a crime.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And now, because the Democrat Party has made a TV
- 14:54Speaker 3: advertisement statement about this DeSantis scandal, the Republicans are in
- 14:59Speaker 3: court threatening both the Democrats and television stations not to
- 15:07Speaker 3: air the ad. It's very interesting that they complained to
- 15:13Speaker 3: the Department of Law Enforcement. The letter from the Republican
- 15:18Speaker 3: Party's lawyer went to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Copies were sent to FDLA Commissioner Larry Keefe and statewide
- 15:27Speaker 3: prosecutor Brad McVeigh. McVeigh works in Uthmeyer's office with Uthmeyer
- 15:32Speaker 3: on the ballot and a party to this transfer. This
- 15:35Speaker 3: makes the involvement of FDLA an egregious conflict of interest.
- 15:41Speaker 3: The lawsuit was filed by a different firm, Sasso &
- 15:43Speaker 3: Sasso of Maitland. Democrats have not responded in court, but
- 15:47Speaker 3: a serious rebuttal on the law is expected. It makes
- 15:50Speaker 3: sense why the Republican Party of Florida, under the direction
- 15:53Speaker 3: of Ron DeSantis, would want to cover up this story.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Everyone should remain mindful that if elected, Governor Byron Donalds
- 16:02Speaker 3: would have the full authority to appoint a state prosecutor
- 16:06Speaker 3: under state law to dig into this scandal from the
- 16:08Speaker 3: beginning and determine what really happened. The only reason the
- 16:13Speaker 3: DeSantises aren't currently charged for their conduct is the general
- 16:17Speaker 3: amnesia of their staff, which was demonstrated in the state
- 16:21Speaker 3: legislative hearings in which they were questioned and their amnesia
- 16:25Speaker 3: before the grand jury, which found that they misappropriated the funds.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Those are grand jury words. Whether it's the insurance crisis,
- 16:33Speaker 3: skyrocketing utility rates. deep corruption, or Ron DeSantis' flat refusal
- 16:38Speaker 3: to campaign for President Donald Trump after he was defeated
- 16:43Speaker 3: by him. DeSantis never appeared at a single Florida campaign
- 16:46Speaker 3: rally for President Trump, nor did he appear at any
- 16:49Speaker 3: other campaign event outside of Florida. President Trump was kind
- 16:53Speaker 3: enough to let Ron DeSantis address the Republican National Convention.
- 16:58Speaker 3: but those who think that he's going to be president
- 17:01Speaker 3: should recognize that this scandal and his lack of loyalty
- 17:05Speaker 3: to the man who made him president, who lifted him
- 17:08Speaker 3: out of obscurity when he was at 1% in the
- 17:11Speaker 3: polls or at single digits in the polls, and his
- 17:14Speaker 3: campaign coffers were empty, catapulting him to the governor's nomination
- 17:20Speaker 3: and then campaigning hard to make him governor. And his
- 17:23Speaker 3: response was to pay back President Donald Trump with treachery.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And then, Even after challenging him and receiving a beating,
- 17:31Speaker 3: he didn't have the decency or the political smarts to
- 17:34Speaker 3: then put his back into the president's reelection and has
- 17:37Speaker 3: essentially done very little for Byron Donalds. I'm Roger Stone.
- 17:42Speaker 3: There's a story of Florida State sunshine politics. You're listening
- 17:45Speaker 3: to Stone Zone. Don't go away.
- 17:49Speaker 1: The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative.
- 17:52Speaker 2: On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
- 18:05Speaker 6: This is the Stone Zone. Now, give him his own.
- 18:10Speaker 6: It's the Stone Zone.
- 18:11Speaker 5: A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going,
- 18:15Speaker 5: and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Not everybody, but people love him and respect him. Roger Stone.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Where's Roger Stone?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Here's Roger Stone.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Welcome back into the Stone Zone. Widespread unrest in French
- 18:29Speaker 3: cities produced looting, arson, and more than 1,800 arrests over
- 18:34Speaker 3: the weekend. Shopfronts were smashed in Paris, Marseille, and other
- 18:38Speaker 3: locations by enraged migrants. A 19th century town hall in
- 18:43Speaker 3: Limoges was set on fire. President Emmanuel Macron stated there
- 18:47Speaker 3: is no place for violence and that rioters must face consequences.
- 18:51Speaker 3: But this is the result of open borders. This is
- 18:55Speaker 3: the result of the invasion of radical Muslims and an
- 18:59Speaker 3: enormous Muslim community that is the centerpiece of this unrest.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Le Figaro and other outlets attributed the scale of the
- 19:09Speaker 3: disorder to years of weak criminal enforcement, radical left activism,
- 19:13Speaker 3: and failures of the immigration and assimilation policy. There's an understatement.
- 19:19Speaker 3: At first, the media said the protests were just led
- 19:21Speaker 3: by students upset about their school books. That was just
- 19:25Speaker 3: a cover for the true nature of the revolt. We
- 19:28Speaker 3: were told the students were upset because there weren't enough teachers.
- 19:30Speaker 3: This was fake news. Now, mass groups set vehicles and
- 19:34Speaker 3: buildings on fire and ransacked businesses. Interior Minister Loren Nunes
- 19:40Speaker 3: faced calls for resignation from both the left and the
- 19:43Speaker 3: right after the government appeared unprepared for the intensity of
- 19:47Speaker 3: the clashes. These are the inevitable consequences of multiculturalism on display.
- 19:53Speaker 3: The damage to commercial districts and public buildings has already
- 19:56Speaker 3: imposed costs on residents and businesses and owners who have
- 20:00Speaker 3: no role in the unrest. This is very much like
- 20:02Speaker 3: what happened when Black Lives Matter programs went forward in
- 20:06Speaker 3: the United States back in the bizarro world of 2020.
- 20:09Speaker 3: The barbarians are inside the gate, but the French government
- 20:13Speaker 3: let them in. It is only the potential election of
- 20:17Speaker 3: Marie Le Pen by which I believe France has any
- 20:20Speaker 3: other future. Otherwise, France will fall. Meanwhile, former President Barack
- 20:26Speaker 3: Obama issued a lengthy statement Sunday accusing the Trump administration
- 20:31Speaker 3: of political weaponization in its investigation of Representative Ilhan Omar's
- 20:36Speaker 3: immigration history, Specifically, Obama objected to the 6 a.m. raid
- 20:41Speaker 3: on Ilhan Omar's home by the DHF's investigative unit. Their
- 20:47Speaker 3: opinions were really in a twist about this at CNN
- 20:50Speaker 3: as well, which is extraordinarily funny because they didn't seem
- 20:54Speaker 3: too concerned when 29 FBI agents swarmed my home at
- 20:58Speaker 3: 6 o'clock in the morning to arrest me for a
- 21:00Speaker 3: first-time nonviolent process crime. when normally informing my attorney that
- 21:07Speaker 3: I would be charged would have required me to simply
- 21:10Speaker 3: turn myself in. But had they done that, they would
- 21:13Speaker 3: have had the made-for-television spectacle of my arrest. Indeed, there
- 21:18Speaker 3: were CNN cameras 25 feet from my front door. I
- 21:23Speaker 3: know they arrived 15 minutes before the FBI because I
- 21:28Speaker 3: had deduced through a phone call from somebody at CNN
- 21:33Speaker 3: the day before that If they were seeking my address,
- 21:36Speaker 3: in fact, I told my wife, they're coming to arrest
- 21:38Speaker 3: me tomorrow morning. She said, you've been saying that every
- 21:41Speaker 3: weekend for the last three months, based on the constant
- 21:44Speaker 3: leak of stories, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, AP,
- 21:48Speaker 3: that Mueller focuses on Stone, Mueller closing in on Stone,
- 21:53Speaker 3: Mueller tightens the noose on Stone. Of course, they never
- 21:56Speaker 3: called me in front of the grand jury. But rather
- 22:00Speaker 3: than simply contact my attorney and tell him, actually, They
- 22:03Speaker 3: were in touch with my attorney because the day before
- 22:05Speaker 3: I turned over 30 text messages from Randy Credico, one
- 22:09Speaker 3: of their main witnesses, that proved that he was lying
- 22:12Speaker 3: and that I wasn't telling the truth. That didn't matter.
- 22:15Speaker 3: The very next day, 29 heavily armed FBI agents wearing
- 22:19Speaker 3: night goggles and brandishing fully automatic assault weapons surrounded my home,
- 22:25Speaker 3: arriving in 17 armored vehicles with an FBI helicopter overhead.
- 22:29Speaker 3: And as my good friend Sean Hannity likes to remind me,
- 22:32Speaker 3: two amphibious units pulling up to the dock behind my
- 22:35Speaker 3: house with FBI agents wearing their frogman outfits, but also
- 22:44Speaker 3: brandishing M4 assault weapons. Because the government was shut down
- 22:49Speaker 3: at this time, because of a big budget impasse, and
- 22:53Speaker 3: the fact that these FBI agents, there were more than
- 22:55Speaker 3: 29 when you include the 13-hour search in which they
- 22:59Speaker 3: tore apart my home, cost the taxpayers $ 1. 1 million. But
- 23:05Speaker 3: CNN is not upset about this. They're upset about the
- 23:09Speaker 3: raid on Ilhan Omar's home. It made an aid for
- 23:14Speaker 3: which a judge issued an approval order. The head of
- 23:19Speaker 3: the effort to deport illegals, Tom Homan, stated that Omar
- 23:23Speaker 3: will be held to the same standards as any other
- 23:26Speaker 3: citizen and that evidence of fraud would trigger the established process.
- 23:30Speaker 3: it would come to no surprise that Obama could come
- 23:32Speaker 3: out against Omar's records being scrutinized. Remember all the hoopla
- 23:36Speaker 3: about his birth certificate? That was properly investigated by Sheriff
- 23:40Speaker 3: Joe Arpaio, an old friend of mine, and many of
- 23:42Speaker 3: the discoveries he found were quite troubling. So Obama is
- 23:45Speaker 3: heavily invested with the political class in being above the law. Obviously,
- 23:50Speaker 3: he thinks Ilhan Omar is above the law. There's evidence
- 23:53Speaker 3: that her father lied on his immigration forms. There's even
- 23:56Speaker 3: evidence that she married her own brother. to illegally enter
- 24:01Speaker 3: the country and be naturalized. We need to have one
- 24:04Speaker 3: system of justice, not two. The endgame, in my view,
- 24:08Speaker 3: should be a full investigation and a trial, but if
- 24:12Speaker 3: this is fully and completely adjudicated, it's time for Ilhan
- 24:15Speaker 3: Omar to be sent back to Somalia or housed in
- 24:18Speaker 3: a six-by-eight cell. Meanwhile, one of my least favorite members
- 24:24Speaker 3: of the U.S. Senate, Senator Raphael Warnock, I remember the
- 24:28Speaker 3: video of him running over his wife, his estranged wife,
- 24:32Speaker 3: in their driveway during his campaign. He's quite a guy.
- 24:35Speaker 3: He said that President Donald Trump is a crook and
- 24:38Speaker 3: he got to go when asked about impeachment. That's interesting
- 24:42Speaker 3: because there's been real questions about Senator Warnock's financing and
- 24:45Speaker 3: his use and administration of slum housing owned by his church.
- 24:51Speaker 3: But that didn't come up in this particular interview. Host
- 24:55Speaker 3: Kristen Welker said, I want to talk about the agenda. If,
- 24:57Speaker 3: for example, Democrats win back the House, as you know,
- 25:00Speaker 3: one of the biggest debates is what should be the
- 25:02Speaker 3: top of their agenda. Should Democrats move to impeach President
- 25:05Speaker 3: Donald Trump for a third time? Where do you stand
- 25:08Speaker 3: on this, Senator? Do you believe Democrats should impeach President Trump?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Should they win back the House? Warnock said, and I quote, listen,
- 25:15Speaker 3: Donald Trump is a crook. There's no evidence of that.
- 25:18Speaker 3: And he's got to go. The people who are enabling him,
- 25:20Speaker 3: they ought to be held accountable. So we ought to
- 25:23Speaker 3: have the investigation to get to the truth behind this.
- 25:25Speaker 3: and the corrupt administration in American history. At the same time,
- 25:29Speaker 3: we have to walk and chew gum at the same time.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Americans are being crushed under these costs, which are connected
- 25:34Speaker 3: to his corruption. Now, I'm afraid the costs are connected
- 25:38Speaker 3: to the fact that he had to stop the Iranians
- 25:41Speaker 3: from having a nuclear device with which they could destroy
- 25:43Speaker 3: not just this country, but the world. So we have
- 25:47Speaker 3: to end this war. Well, I agree with Warnock there,
- 25:49Speaker 3: but it can only be won through victory. He wants
- 25:53Speaker 3: to stop the tariffs. He wants to fix health care.
- 25:55Speaker 3: He wants to do all these things at once, but
- 25:57Speaker 3: he admits that their principal goal is going to be
- 26:00Speaker 3: to try to impeach Donald Trump. Now, we know they
- 26:03Speaker 3: could probably get a party-line vote if they wouldn't control
- 26:06Speaker 3: the House, which is very much in doubt, by the way.
- 26:09Speaker 3: But the chances of them getting two-thirds of the U.S. Senate,
- 26:12Speaker 3: I think, are impossible. So an impeachment will be yet
- 26:15Speaker 3: another piece of theater for the American people, but a
- 26:20Speaker 3: complete stall on progress. But this is not the first
- 26:25Speaker 3: time Hakeem Jeffries, I love that guy's name, Hakeem Jeffries
- 26:29Speaker 3: has announced that revenge and investigation of Donald Trump and
- 26:33Speaker 3: everyone around him will be the top of their agenda.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Senator Slotkin, a former CIA operative now elected to the Senate,
- 26:41Speaker 3: says that young people should be discouraged from working for
- 26:44Speaker 3: the Trump administration or supporting Trump's campaign because they might
- 26:48Speaker 3: end up being investigated. So it's very clear that you
- 26:52Speaker 3: will have gridlock rather than help for the American people.
- 26:55Speaker 3: That the Democrat Party, the old party of Harry Truman
- 26:59Speaker 3: and Franklin Roosevelt, Hugh Carey, one of the greatest governors
- 27:03Speaker 3: in New York history, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Democrats who believed
- 27:10Speaker 3: in free enterprise, capitalism, strong national defense, God, that Democrat
- 27:15Speaker 3: Party literally no longer exists. And this is a progressive, left, radical,
- 27:23Speaker 3: Islamic-induced party, and the top of their agenda is revenge.
- 27:28Speaker 3: The top of their agenda is destruction of our way
- 27:30Speaker 3: of life. The DSA, which has now come to dominate
- 27:35Speaker 3: the Democrat Party, is very open about their goals. They
- 27:38Speaker 3: want to do away with the U.S. Senate. They want
- 27:40Speaker 3: to add members to the Supreme Court or Others want
- 27:44Speaker 3: to do away with the Supreme Court. Impossible, entirely. They
- 27:48Speaker 3: offer you, of course, free this, free that, free everything,
- 27:51Speaker 3: without ever saying who will actually pay for it. Socialism
- 27:55Speaker 3: has never worked, nor has communism. They're really pretty much
- 27:58Speaker 3: the same thing. Socialism being a half-step to communism has
- 28:03Speaker 3: never worked on the face of the earth. It has
- 28:05Speaker 3: brought poverty. It has brought poverty. The chilling of human
- 28:13Speaker 3: rights has brought starvation. It has brought horrific abuse of
- 28:18Speaker 3: its people, but it has not ever produced prosperity. Very
- 28:24Speaker 3: clear what the Democrats have in mind should they win
- 28:27Speaker 3: these next elections. Speaking of that question, I think it's
- 28:31Speaker 3: important to note that the polls are beginning to look
- 28:35Speaker 3: quite interesting to me. Now, I wanted to make it
- 28:37Speaker 3: very clear. I've said this many times on the Stone Zone.
- 28:41Speaker 3: There are polls and there are polls. Americans are poll happy.
- 28:44Speaker 3: We're poll crazy. But not every poll you read about
- 28:48Speaker 3: on X or every poll you read about on social
- 28:50Speaker 3: media is legitimate. A legitimate poll has many criteria. First
- 28:55Speaker 3: of all, the sample size needs to be large enough
- 28:58Speaker 3: to be scientifically meaningful. Secondarily, it has to be properly
- 29:03Speaker 3: weighted and drawn so it accurately reflects the electorate which
- 29:07Speaker 3: you're trying to measure. In other words, the correct number
- 29:10Speaker 3: of men. women, Catholics, Protestants, Hispanics, young, old, and so on.
- 29:16Speaker 3: You have to have a true sample. Then you have
- 29:18Speaker 3: to have questions that are worded in a completely neutral
- 29:23Speaker 3: and unbiased way. And then lastly, the order of the
- 29:28Speaker 3: questions is crucial. So for example, if you said in
- 29:32Speaker 3: taking a poll, Sam Brown has never paid taxes. Does
- 29:37Speaker 3: that make you more likely or less likely to vote
- 29:39Speaker 3: for Sam Brown? Before you ask the ballot question of
- 29:42Speaker 3: Sam Brown versus his opponent, say, Johnny Jones, that's called
- 29:47Speaker 3: order bias. A lot of these polls that I'm looking
- 29:50Speaker 3: at are designed for two things. One, it is to
- 29:56Speaker 3: depress voters. In other words, if you're a And you
- 30:00Speaker 3: see a poll that shows the Democrats winning handily. You
- 30:03Speaker 3: are disincentivized to vote. You are unenthusiastic about voting. That
- 30:11Speaker 3: is the goal, to suppress the vote. The other one,
- 30:16Speaker 3: of course, is for the bandwagon effect and therefore fundraising. So,
- 30:22Speaker 3: for example, one of the most outrageous examples of misconduct
- 30:29Speaker 3: I've ever seen by a pollster. A poll in the
- 30:32Speaker 3: 21st District of New York, that's the seat where Elise
- 30:36Speaker 3: Stefanik is retiring. Republicans have nominated businessman Anthony Constantino. Democrats
- 30:42Speaker 3: have nominated a local farmer named Blake Gendebeen. But the
- 30:47Speaker 3: Siena Institute produced a poll in which they said Gendebeen
- 30:51Speaker 3: was ahead, but that's because they included a man named Christopher,
- 30:57Speaker 3: who is not on the ballot, who is simply a
- 31:00Speaker 3: write-in candidate in their ballot question. This is malpractice. It
- 31:06Speaker 3: got the desired headline, but all the credible polls that
- 31:10Speaker 3: I've seen show that in this Republican district, which is
- 31:13Speaker 3: more competitive than usual because of the national environment, that
- 31:19Speaker 3: Constantino continues to maintain a slim but significant lead. What
- 31:26Speaker 3: does surprise me in the same polling is how strong
- 31:30Speaker 3: Bruce Blakeman is running against Governor Kathy Hochul. And now
- 31:35Speaker 3: I've seen a gain by the Republican candidate for Attorney
- 31:37Speaker 3: General as well. The other number that jumped out at
- 31:41Speaker 3: me last time I looked at data from this region,
- 31:44Speaker 3: I've looked at three upstate polls, is that Chuck Schumer
- 31:47Speaker 3: could be the single most unpopular politician that I have
- 31:50Speaker 3: seen in in my 50 years in American politics, either
- 31:53Speaker 3: Republican or Democrat. In one congressional district I looked at,
- 31:58Speaker 3: he had a 72% disapproval rating. That was 42% strongly disapproved,
- 32:04Speaker 3: 30% said only somewhat disapproved. So the poll number has
- 32:09Speaker 3: some intensity to it. If I were Chuck Schumer, I
- 32:13Speaker 3: would avoid the mistakes so many other senators have made
- 32:16Speaker 3: by hanging out in Washington too long and running for
- 32:19Speaker 3: that last term. The late, great Jacob Javits did that
- 32:23Speaker 3: only to lose his seat. He did so while extraordinarily ill.
- 32:28Speaker 3: He was a great man. He was a great senator.
- 32:30Speaker 3: He served the Empire State well, but he didn't know
- 32:33Speaker 3: when to hang it up. And I'm afraid that that
- 32:35Speaker 3: is the case with Chuck Schumer. I'm Roger Stone. We're
- 32:38Speaker 3: talking all things politics here in the Stone Zone. And
- 32:41Speaker 3: we'll be right back.
- 32:43Speaker 4: The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative. On the Red Apple
- 32:47Speaker 4: Podcast Network.
- 33:00Speaker 6: This is the Stone Zone. Now, give him his own.
- 33:04Speaker 6: It's the Stone Zone.
- 33:06Speaker 5: A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going
- 33:09Speaker 5: and he's smart and he's strong.
- 33:11Speaker 2: And people love him. Not everybody, but people love him
- 33:14Speaker 2: and respect him. Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Here's Roger Stone.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Welcome back into the Stoner Zone. Senator Alyssa Slotkin, Democrat
- 33:25Speaker 3: of Michigan, said during an appearance at the University of
- 33:27Speaker 3: Chicago on Tuesday that she wants planned prosecutions of all
- 33:31Speaker 3: Trump administration figures to deter young people from taking jobs
- 33:35Speaker 3: in the administration. She, of course, doesn't cite any evidence
- 33:38Speaker 3: of indictable crimes or corruption. The Michigan Democrat made the
- 33:43Speaker 3: remarks at the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics during
- 33:46Speaker 3: a live recording of Vox America's Actually podcast with editorial
- 33:51Speaker 3: director Astrid Herndon. Clip of the exchange circulated widely on X.
- 33:58Speaker 3: What's amazing about this is, of course, Slotkin was one
- 34:00Speaker 3: of those veterans who only months ago urged those in
- 34:04Speaker 3: our armed services to ignore orders from the commander in chief.
- 34:09Speaker 3: That in itself, I think, is seditious. So she's part
- 34:13Speaker 3: of the seditious six. It will come as no surprise
- 34:16Speaker 3: to you that Slotkin formally worked for the CIA. She
- 34:21Speaker 3: says she wants to examine what she calls signature cases
- 34:24Speaker 3: and target not only the president, but all of the
- 34:26Speaker 3: officials around him. I want to look at these signature cases,
- 34:30Speaker 3: not just focus on the president, but on the people
- 34:32Speaker 3: who enabled him. Slotkin said, I want young people coming
- 34:36Speaker 3: out of school to say, should I go to work
- 34:38Speaker 3: for the Trump administration? That sounds like fun. It might
- 34:40Speaker 3: be an opportunity. I want them to be like, Lord,
- 34:43Speaker 3: that might be buying myself a ton of problems that
- 34:46Speaker 3: I don't want. So let me avoid participating in that.
- 34:49Speaker 3: I want that deterrence message. This is a chilling talk
- 34:53Speaker 3: from any elected official. The account posted in the video,
- 34:58Speaker 3: I think it was Thinker Chicago, claims the senator hopes
- 35:01Speaker 3: the planned prosecutions will frighten young conservatives away from politics forever.
- 35:06Speaker 3: What would have happened if this had been said before
- 35:08Speaker 3: the campaign of Barry Goldwater, whose losing campaign still gave
- 35:12Speaker 3: birth to an entire conservative movement that ultimately elected Ronald
- 35:16Speaker 3: Reagan and then later Donald Trump? Slotkin argued the Democrats
- 35:21Speaker 3: should pursue prosecution of Trump officials if they retake Congress,
- 35:24Speaker 3: comparing the effort to post-authoritarian cleanups in Europe. In Poland,
- 35:29Speaker 3: they call this the iron broom, cleaning the place up,
- 35:33Speaker 3: Slotkin said at the time. The goal here is to
- 35:35Speaker 3: have a list of signature cases that go after some
- 35:38Speaker 3: of the most obvious and harmful abuses of taxpayer dollars.
- 35:41Speaker 3: The irony here, of course, is that I could tell
- 35:43Speaker 3: you of at least three and perhaps four crimes that
- 35:46Speaker 3: there's substantial evidence that Slotkin herself has engaged in. So
- 35:50Speaker 3: this is nothing but hardcore partisan warfare. It's not about
- 35:58Speaker 3: accountability and justice. It's about revenge and retaliation by the Democrats.
- 36:04Speaker 3: In her speech, the former CIA officer named Homeland Security
- 36:07Speaker 3: Christy Noem, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and U.S. Attorney Jeanine
- 36:11Speaker 3: Pirro's figures, she argues should be held accountable, telling the
- 36:15Speaker 3: audience that misusing taxpayer money can land you a sentence
- 36:18Speaker 3: of up to 20 years. Needless to say, she put
- 36:22Speaker 3: forward no evidence that any of those three officials have
- 36:25Speaker 3: engaged in those activities. The comments come after months of
- 36:29Speaker 3: Slotkin herself was the target of a Trump Justice Department investigation.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Pirro's office sought to indict the senator and five other
- 36:36Speaker 3: Democrat lawmakers over a 90-second video urging military members to
- 36:41Speaker 3: refuse orders from the be a commander-in-chief. Trump called it seditious,
- 36:47Speaker 3: pointed out that treason was punished by death. Of course,
- 36:50Speaker 3: in D.C., a federal grand jury declined to return an
- 36:53Speaker 3: indictment in February. It's very clear what the Democrats have planned.
- 36:59Speaker 3: It is an all-out assault on Donald Trump, his cabinet,
- 37:04Speaker 3: his family, and his supporters. Meanwhile, they have no plan
- 37:10Speaker 3: to lower gas prices. They have no plan to create jobs.
- 37:14Speaker 3: They have no plan to lower food prices. They have
- 37:17Speaker 3: no plans to make housing more affordable and more available.
- 37:22Speaker 3: They have no plan to end the war in Ukraine
- 37:25Speaker 3: and Russia. And God knows what they might do in Iran,
- 37:30Speaker 3: where there's a very real danger of the regime having
- 37:33Speaker 3: nuclear weapons. I'm Roger Stone. And I'm trying to, like
- 37:37Speaker 3: Paul Revere, blow the bugle here so you know exactly
- 37:41Speaker 3: what the Democrat Party has in mind. If anybody wants
- 37:45Speaker 3: to know what will happen to this country, I urge
- 37:46Speaker 3: you to look at these videos of what's happening right
- 37:49Speaker 3: now in France. It is chaos as a wave of
- 37:53Speaker 3: illegal immigrants are on a crime spree, destroying what was
- 37:57Speaker 3: one of the greatest countries on Earth, a place that
- 38:00Speaker 3: Napoleon turned into a showplace. That is coming here. For
- 38:05Speaker 3: anyone who doesn't understand, these scenes of what you are
- 38:08Speaker 3: seeing in France, that's coming to the United States unless
- 38:11Speaker 3: we continue to close our borders and deport the illegals
- 38:15Speaker 3: who would be the centerpiece of these riots. I'm Roger Stone.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Thank you for joining us in the Stone Zone. Until tomorrow,
