- 0:02Speaker 1: On scor Lis Oscodia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Riata Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Reata Panalty Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 3: up tonight, Former Treasurer Josh Freidenberg delivers an extraordinary speech
- 0:17Speaker 3: calling out the Prime minister's week leadership. Nickkata and Louise
- 0:21Speaker 3: Roberts will join me shortly to discuss that and much more.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'll get Douglas Murray's reaction to the attack in BONDI.
- 0:28Speaker 1: C J.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Pearson will have.
- 0:29Speaker 3: The latest from the US, including Donald Trump formally suing
- 0:32Speaker 3: the BBC for five billion.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Dollars, and Michael.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Loftis will tell us about Hollywood director Rob Ryaner's tragic murder.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Left is Losing.
- 0:41Speaker 3: It features this young lass who identifies as everything.
- 0:47Speaker 5: My pronouns are evam, at least that's what I share
- 0:50Speaker 5: with people most often. But for this particular meeting, I
- 0:53Speaker 5: will come out fully as saying that my pronouns are.
- 0:56Speaker 4: She they him. But first, prim Miss Anthony.
- 1:00Speaker 3: He has focused on tighter gun control, he's even warned
- 1:03Speaker 3: of the dangers of the far right, but he's failed
- 1:07Speaker 3: to focus on the real issues of radical Islam, the
- 1:10Speaker 3: importing of hate and the normalization of anti Semitism, including
- 1:15Speaker 3: by his own government. Words matter, So let's look at
- 1:19Speaker 3: the words the PM used after the attack and the
- 1:21Speaker 3: words he omitted. As reported by Frank Chung official transcripts Shaw,
- 1:26Speaker 3: the Prime Minister spoke more than five thousand words publicly
- 1:30Speaker 3: in the day.
- 1:31Speaker 4: After the attack.
- 1:32Speaker 3: He did not once say the words Muslim Islam or
- 1:36Speaker 3: Islamic extremism.
- 1:38Speaker 4: He did say this.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Though the Director General of Asia has warned about a
- 1:44Speaker 6: range of threats, but it any Semitism, the rise of
- 1:51Speaker 6: right wing extremist groups as well, and we continue to
- 1:54Speaker 6: work closely with our security agencies.
- 1:58Speaker 3: And again on Monday night with the ABC, he drew
- 2:01Speaker 3: attention to the rise of the far right.
- 2:05Speaker 7: The threat of any Semitism, as we have seen, is
- 2:09Speaker 7: very real. Threats of other occurrences, such as the rise
- 2:14Speaker 7: in the far right, which has also been identified of
- 2:18Speaker 7: course by Mike Burgess, is also a threat as well.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Joining me now is Mensi's Research Center senior fellow Nikata
- 2:27Speaker 3: and Sky News contributor Louise Roberts. Louise two mentions of
- 2:32Speaker 3: right wing extremism. There nothing about Islamist motives, Islamic extremism.
- 2:39Speaker 8: That's right, he continues, to conflate you know, far right
- 2:43Speaker 8: with this issue. And I think you can talk about
- 2:46Speaker 8: Islamic extremism without offending the Muslim community, and maybe that's
- 2:50Speaker 8: what he's worried about. It certainly has been suggested in
- 2:53Speaker 8: other areas. But you know, clearly for everyone in the
- 2:55Speaker 8: Jewish community, they know the root cause of this problem.
- 2:58Speaker 3: So for the.
- 2:59Speaker 8: PM to dodger and weave and duck and dive and
- 3:02Speaker 8: not actually address this issue head on is disgraceful.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Nick.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's not just the Prime Minister. We've got the counter
- 3:11Speaker 3: terrorism the intelligence services that appear to be fixated on
- 3:16Speaker 3: right wing radicalism as opposed to Islamic radicalism.
- 3:20Speaker 4: In this country.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Nearly half of the Australian Security Intelligence Organizations investigations last
- 3:26Speaker 3: year involved what they call mixed ideologies or nationalist and
- 3:31Speaker 3: racist ideologies. A decade ago, just one in ten of
- 3:35Speaker 3: asio's cases involved right wing extremist Nick, I wonder whether
- 3:40Speaker 3: we have taken our eye off the Islamist threat.
- 3:44Speaker 9: Definitely taken our eye off it rita, or rather the
- 3:46Speaker 9: officials have I think on this station, I've heard many
- 3:49Speaker 9: people remind us so that it's still a huge threat. It
- 3:53Speaker 9: is a very well organized international network who set out
- 3:57Speaker 9: to do horrible things in countries like Australia, using people locally,
- 4:01Speaker 9: and that seems to be what happened. But you see,
- 4:04Speaker 9: we have paid, we've taken our eye off the threat
- 4:07Speaker 9: when we allow people to march across Sydney Harbor Bridge
- 4:10Speaker 9: hub Bridge with Jihadis flags, you know, saying horrible hate
- 4:15Speaker 9: things about death, death to the IDF and worse, when
- 4:19Speaker 9: we allow that, when we tolerate that, when our former
- 4:22Speaker 9: Foreign Minister is on the bridge with them, smiling away,
- 4:26Speaker 9: walking in procession, that we've clearly lost the plot. We've
- 4:29Speaker 9: clearly forgotten who the bad guys are. Now we have
- 4:32Speaker 9: to remind ourselves. And I think Anne Onlys is having
- 4:35Speaker 9: trouble because basically he's been pandering to the very same
- 4:41Speaker 9: people who want to push Israel off the map. He has,
- 4:44Speaker 9: he's been gone to the UN, he's supported independent Palestine,
- 4:48Speaker 9: and that's what he's been doing for the last two
- 4:51Speaker 9: years when he should have obviously been standing up for Australia,
- 4:54Speaker 9: standing up for our values and standing up for the
- 4:57Speaker 9: Jewish people in Australia.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Or Former Treasurer Josh Fredenberg delivered a incredible speech earlier today,
- 5:07Speaker 3: including a scathing message to the Prime minister have a listen.
- 5:13Speaker 10: Firstly, Prime Minister, ban the hate preachers. On October the
- 5:20Speaker 10: eighth in La Kember, you had Islamic preachers say that
- 5:29Speaker 10: October the seventh was back of courage and pride. When
- 5:37Speaker 10: the Muslim community here's that message for the last two
- 5:40Speaker 10: and a half years. Is this any surprise.
- 5:46Speaker 3: It's clear the former Treasurer has had enough of the cowardice,
- 5:50Speaker 3: the moral equivalents and the propaganda.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I heard.
- 5:57Speaker 10: One of the leading journalists from the ABC say this
- 6:00Speaker 10: has nothing to do with religion. Well, you know what
- 6:05Speaker 10: that is. That's propaganda. We cannot accept people coming to
- 6:10Speaker 10: this country. We cannot accept people staying in this country
- 6:14Speaker 10: who do not subscribe to Australian values. This is a
- 6:17Speaker 10: matter of self defense.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Nick.
- 6:23Speaker 3: It wasn't just the ABC putting that message there. It
- 6:26Speaker 3: even came from law enforcement trying to claim that this
- 6:30Speaker 3: had nothing to do with religion.
- 6:33Speaker 9: Well, it's a weirdly perverted form of religion. Reader, let's
- 6:37Speaker 9: say that. Or he's worried about saying of course he
- 6:40Speaker 9: is worried about saying Muslims. Why doesn't he just say
- 6:42Speaker 9: death cult? You know, there's plenty of other ways to
- 6:45Speaker 9: describe these horrible people and their ideological hatred, not just
- 6:51Speaker 9: to the Jewish people, but of us. I mean, they
- 6:54Speaker 9: would happily if it hadn't have been the Jews who
- 6:57Speaker 9: were in the in focus at the moment because of Israel,
- 7:00Speaker 9: well in Gaza, I'm sure they would be happy to
- 7:03Speaker 9: carry out these attacks against the general Australian population. So yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 9: I mean, let's just let's call it out, because I
- 7:11Speaker 9: don't know who the Prime Minister's talking to, by the way,
- 7:14Speaker 9: read in the Muslim community, because I talked to Muslims
- 7:17Speaker 9: who say they wish the Prime Minister would call this out.
- 7:20Speaker 9: They want nothing to do with this mad mob. They
- 7:23Speaker 9: want to they want to expose this just as heaven,
- 7:26Speaker 9: just as much as you and I do. And the
- 7:28Speaker 9: Prime Minister needs to stand up for the sake of
- 7:31Speaker 9: Muslims to distinguish this very very bad ideological strain which
- 7:37Speaker 9: has been causing death around the world for the last
- 7:40Speaker 9: twenty years or more, to distinguish that from ordinary law
- 7:44Speaker 9: of Muslims who just want to raise their kids, go
- 7:46Speaker 9: to work and do well in this country.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Louise, what we heard from Josh Friedenberg today was the
- 7:55Speaker 3: sort of clear eyed leadership that we've been lacking. It
- 7:58Speaker 3: was such a contrast to what we've heard in recent
- 8:02Speaker 3: days from the Prime Minister and other senior ministers.
- 8:06Speaker 8: Yes, absolutely, and he spoke at length and you could
- 8:09Speaker 8: see the crab were actually enraptured by what he was saying.
- 8:12Speaker 8: They were applaud in just about every point that he made,
- 8:15Speaker 8: and he showed such anger and such passion as well,
- 8:18Speaker 8: the two things we have not seen from the Prime
- 8:20Speaker 8: Minister or Richard Miles or any of the other senior
- 8:23Speaker 8: ministers have been wheeled out to go to you know,
- 8:26Speaker 8: various events and then get heckled because they're not welcome.
- 8:29Speaker 8: There's no sort of passion or anger, particularly from the
- 8:32Speaker 8: Prime Minister, and that's what you really want to see.
- 8:34Speaker 8: He sort of talks very merely mouthed and sort of
- 8:36Speaker 8: clutches his notes and it's all very soft. And terrorists
- 8:40Speaker 8: don't respect that. They respect strength. I mean, you know,
- 8:43Speaker 8: Trump is a perfect example of that. He shows strength,
- 8:45Speaker 8: he shows passion. I just wish we could see this
- 8:48Speaker 8: from the PM. We've seen it from Josh Briedenberg today clearly,
- 8:51Speaker 8: and why hasn't resonated and I was fascinated to see
- 8:55Speaker 8: him actually say that the PM had to take personal
- 8:58Speaker 8: responsibility for the day of the people on the beach
- 9:01Speaker 8: at Bondai, particularly that beautiful little ten year old girl, Matilda.
- 9:05Speaker 8: And when I heard that, I thought, Wow, this is
- 9:07Speaker 8: a man who's very angry and actually he's articulating what
- 9:10Speaker 8: a lot of Australians, very disappointed Australians are feeling about this.
- 9:15Speaker 8: In this vacuum of leadership we now have.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Well, Nick, where is the Prime Minister, Where is Penny Wong?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Why aren't they they're delivering speeches like that, or delivering
- 9:28Speaker 3: whatever it is they want to say. You could argue, well,
- 9:31Speaker 3: the Prime Minister wouldn't be welcome there, as Josh Fredenberg
- 9:35Speaker 3: obviously is.
- 9:35Speaker 4: But so what we saw John.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Howard be be present and speak up after Port Arthur
- 9:45Speaker 3: in crowds where he wasn't welcome, but he had the
- 9:48Speaker 3: strength and the conviction to be there.
- 9:50Speaker 4: That's what we need from our Prime minister right now.
- 9:52Speaker 4: We need him to be there to show he cares.
- 9:55Speaker 3: It's not about getting a good reception from the local
- 10:00Speaker 3: it's about showing that he's.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Got their back.
- 10:03Speaker 3: He knows what he's doing, and he's going to keep
- 10:05Speaker 3: them safe going forward.
- 10:07Speaker 9: He's completely lacking in moral courage rita, and we've seen
- 10:12Speaker 9: that over the last few days. I think he's also
- 10:14Speaker 9: lacking in some intellectual firepower, you know, the thing that
- 10:19Speaker 9: tells you this is just horrible, this is wrong. This
- 10:23Speaker 9: is the Jewish people who went through the Holocaust, who
- 10:27Speaker 9: came here for safety. You know, I can't help thinking
- 10:31Speaker 9: about that eighty seven year old man who fled Ukraine
- 10:34Speaker 9: to get away from the anti Semitism of Hitler, injured,
- 10:37Speaker 9: having to go through Siberia with his mother, nearly freezing
- 10:41Speaker 9: to death and nearly starving to death, gets to Australia
- 10:45Speaker 9: and then he's shot on Bondou Breach Beach by Jahadist
- 10:48Speaker 9: on a Sunday afternoon. It is just horrible. How do
- 10:53Speaker 9: we let this happen to our country? Can the Prime
- 10:55Speaker 9: Minister stand up and tell us how he is going
- 10:57Speaker 9: to get back the country that I moved to in
- 10:59Speaker 9: nineteen eighty nine, that I came because I loved it.
- 11:01Speaker 9: It was peaceful, safe, everybody got on, Everybody got on
- 11:04Speaker 9: with their neighbors. There was no racial hatred or anything.
- 11:09Speaker 9: All this has happened recently, and it is accelerated under
- 11:12Speaker 9: this prime ministership. Nearly four thousand attacks on Jews since
- 11:17Speaker 9: October seven, four thousand, that's five a day, and they're
- 11:20Speaker 9: any of the registered ones. Can't you just see what's
- 11:23Speaker 9: happened to this country and stand up for our country
- 11:26Speaker 9: and the people who live here, all the people who
- 11:29Speaker 9: live here Jewish, Muslim I don't care. Stand up for
- 11:32Speaker 9: this country.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Now, Australia's week leadership is drawing attention in the US.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Have a look at this clip from Sean Hannity on
- 11:42Speaker 3: Fox News.
- 11:44Speaker 11: Australia's government largely turned a blind EyeT to this horrific,
- 11:48Speaker 11: unacceptable behavior and continued to welcome hardline Islamis into their country.
- 11:54Speaker 1: This is insane.
- 11:55Speaker 11: In other words, nothing in Australia is going to change
- 12:00Speaker 11: while he is their leader, Louise.
- 12:04Speaker 3: This is getting attention around the world and people are shocked.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I know, Jews around the world are absolutely appalled by
- 12:14Speaker 3: what's happening in Australia. They don't see Australia as a
- 12:17Speaker 3: safe place for Jews any longer. And I think that
- 12:20Speaker 3: is just a national disgrace.
- 12:22Speaker 8: It is a national disgrace and the fact that you know,
- 12:24Speaker 8: someone like Sean Hannery has a huge reach, is very influential,
- 12:28Speaker 8: lots of contacts at all levels of government. The fact
- 12:31Speaker 8: that he's mocking mister Albaneze in this way and saying
- 12:34Speaker 8: nothing will change. Basically Jewish people will not feel safe
- 12:38Speaker 8: while he is leader. I mean it's absolutely eviscerating and humiliating.
- 12:42Speaker 8: But I mean maybe it doesn't impact the p and
- 12:44Speaker 8: maybe he doesn't care about that sort of stuff. I
- 12:46Speaker 8: don't know, but I watched that thought. Ouch, that's brutal
- 12:50Speaker 8: and also accurate to be honest.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Well, yeah, Nick, that's why it hurts because every word
- 12:57Speaker 3: you just heard was one hundred percent accurate. That's that's
- 13:02Speaker 3: why it's powerful.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Nick Kata.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Luis Roberts, thank you so much for your time tonight,
- 13:07Speaker 3: joining me now. Is the author of international best sellers,
- 13:10Speaker 3: including his latest work on democracies and death cults.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Douglas Murray.
- 13:14Speaker 3: The Islamic State inspired Bondy terrorist attack has devastated this country.
- 13:20Speaker 3: It shocked the world, but the local Jewish community here
- 13:24Speaker 3: in Australia say they're not surprised.
- 13:27Speaker 4: They saw this coming.
- 13:31Speaker 12: Yes, I think they saw it coming, and many people
- 13:35Speaker 12: saw it coming.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I was in Australia last last year.
- 13:40Speaker 12: I spoke to people in the Jewish community, as many
- 13:43Speaker 12: other communities, and it was perfectly obvious that there was
- 13:47Speaker 12: going to be a boiling point reached in Australia because
- 13:51Speaker 12: the Australian authorities have decided to allow incitement to murder
- 13:57Speaker 12: to go on on Australia's streets for more than two
- 14:00Speaker 12: years now. They have been utterly incapable of doing anything
- 14:08Speaker 12: or seeming to want to do anything. When people stand
- 14:12Speaker 12: outside Sydney Opera House forty eight hours after the largest
- 14:17Speaker 12: mask of Jews since the Holocaust and call in large
- 14:20Speaker 12: numbers in the center of Sydney for the Jews to
- 14:22Speaker 12: be gassed, the Australian authorities didn't seem to mind that.
- 14:26Speaker 12: They didn't seem to mind when week after week people
- 14:30Speaker 12: called for into Farda, which is violent terrorist attacks to
- 14:34Speaker 12: be globalized and brought two places like Australia. They didn't
- 14:38Speaker 12: mind that when that was called for on Australian streets
- 14:41Speaker 12: in cities. I saw the protests myself last year in
- 14:46Speaker 12: Sydney and Melbourne across Australia.
- 14:50Speaker 1: The authorities didn't.
- 14:51Speaker 12: Seem to mind that and lo and behold into Fada
- 14:55Speaker 12: came to Australia in the acts of these two discussed individuals,
- 15:01Speaker 12: acting it seems, in the name of the Islamic State,
- 15:04Speaker 12: but they could have been acting for any jihadist group.
- 15:08Speaker 12: They could have been like the people who have previously
- 15:12Speaker 12: sought to carry out attacks in Australia on behalf of
- 15:15Speaker 12: the IRGC, one of the terrorist wings of the terrorist
- 15:19Speaker 12: government in Tehran. All of this was completely to be expected.
- 15:25Speaker 12: You didn't have to be Jewish to notice it. But
- 15:27Speaker 12: of course Jews noticed it first because it was their
- 15:31Speaker 12: places of worship that have been firebombed in the last
- 15:35Speaker 12: couple of years. It's Jewish businesses that have been attacked
- 15:38Speaker 12: and boycotted. So yes, this is both completely shocking and
- 15:44Speaker 12: appalling and at the same time completely unsurprising.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Now the focus from our Prime Minister in the aftermath
- 15:55Speaker 3: of this terrorist attack has been gun control. We've already
- 15:59Speaker 3: got some of the toughest gun laws anywhere in the
- 16:02Speaker 3: world and Douglas, as we've seen in the UK, we've
- 16:06Speaker 3: seen in France and elsewhere. Terrorist don't need guns to
- 16:10Speaker 3: inflict carnage.
- 16:13Speaker 1: No they don't.
- 16:14Speaker 12: I mean in Manchester just last month in Manchester, England,
- 16:19Speaker 12: a jihadist decided to attack a synagogue using his car.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And then a knife. So no, it's not about guns.
- 16:29Speaker 12: And Albanizi and others just demonstrate their unbelievable weakness and
- 16:36Speaker 12: their total inadequacy for the roles that they've assumed or
- 16:40Speaker 12: been voted into when they say things like this. There's
- 16:43Speaker 12: a set of ways very weak politicians like I'm sorry
- 16:47Speaker 12: to say your Prime.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Minister in Australia do at times like this.
- 16:51Speaker 12: But what they never address these week leaders across Western
- 16:56Speaker 12: countries is the obvious thing, which is, how abouts to
- 17:00Speaker 12: do with homegrown radicals and people who are imported who
- 17:05Speaker 12: are radical. How About it's that you have in arms
- 17:10Speaker 12: in Australia calling for g HAD. How About it's you
- 17:14Speaker 12: have extremist Islamist groups who are allowed to operate and
- 17:18Speaker 12: incite violence. And how about it's the fact that you
- 17:22Speaker 12: allow every week at least thousands of thousands of people
- 17:28Speaker 12: to call for Interfara, to call for g HAD, to
- 17:30Speaker 12: call for violence in Australia. What do these political leaders
- 17:35Speaker 12: think They're going to stop everyone from being allowed to
- 17:38Speaker 12: buy knives. They're going to try to crack down on
- 17:41Speaker 12: Australians even more of being allowed to own guns. It's
- 17:46Speaker 12: just preposterous and this is what weak leaders do. I
- 17:50Speaker 12: remember after the London terrorist attacks in twenty seventeen, Theresa
- 17:54Speaker 12: May and co. Said this is about online radicalization. You
- 17:57Speaker 12: and I have talked about before, Rita, but just to
- 18:02Speaker 12: be in the middle of this will once again and
- 18:04Speaker 12: for the Prime Minister to think this is about guns
- 18:07Speaker 12: is as preposterous as thinking that the nie attack in
- 18:10Speaker 12: France was about truck ownership.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, as well said, And there was a fantastic news
- 18:17Speaker 3: report yesterday showing the Australian Prime Minister spoke more than
- 18:21Speaker 3: five thousand words in press conferences and interviews statements in
- 18:26Speaker 3: the day after the Bondeitera attacked, and yet Douglas, in
- 18:30Speaker 3: more than five thousand words, he did not once say
- 18:33Speaker 3: the word Islamist, Islamic extremism, Muslim Islam. But he did
- 18:39Speaker 3: raise the threat of right wing extremist groups twice, Douglas twice.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It is just a topic that they don't want to tackle.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Of course, because very very weak leaders do that.
- 18:53Speaker 12: If there's something they can't deal with, they decide to
- 18:57Speaker 12: go on to some other problem. You'll notice I imagine it.
- 19:01Speaker 12: We'll get more in the days ahead about the need
- 19:03Speaker 12: to tackle antisemitism, Islamophobia and all other forms of extremism
- 19:08Speaker 12: and prejudice, and how we have to stamp out hate
- 19:12Speaker 12: and all this sort of thing.
- 19:13Speaker 1: This is pure words, pure words.
- 19:16Speaker 12: Was blood spilt on the sands of Australia is a
- 19:20Speaker 12: pure words, And you know it can be better. President
- 19:25Speaker 12: Trump today in Washington made some remarks so I was there,
- 19:29Speaker 12: in which he referred to the appalling attack this past
- 19:35Speaker 12: weekend in Australia, and President Trump said, this is why
- 19:39Speaker 12: we need to tackle the evils of antisemitism and radical Islam.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Now, why cannot why can't the.
- 19:46Speaker 12: Prime Minister of Australia say something like that? Why can't
- 19:51Speaker 12: he identify what this was? You know, I just wrote
- 19:55Speaker 12: a piece that just came out to a city journal
- 19:58Speaker 12: in which I mentioned a it's worth just lingering for
- 20:01Speaker 12: a moment if I may read it. On this comparison,
- 20:04Speaker 12: Six years ago, a lone gunman went and massacred some
- 20:07Speaker 12: Muslims in New Zealand, and it was an absolutely appalling attack,
- 20:13Speaker 12: and the whole world was united in its unbelievable horror
- 20:21Speaker 12: of what that lone gunman did. Imagine if forty eight
- 20:25Speaker 12: hours after the New Zealand mosque attack, thousands of people
- 20:30Speaker 12: on Australian streets had come out to celebrate the massacre.
- 20:34Speaker 12: Imagine if forty eight hours after the New Zealand attack
- 20:38Speaker 12: and christ Church, hundreds and hundreds of Australians called for
- 20:41Speaker 12: more Muslims to be massacred.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Imagine if every.
- 20:45Speaker 12: Single day and week for the next two years, every
- 20:49Speaker 12: single city in Australia was brought to a halt by
- 20:52Speaker 12: people calling for more massacres like that at the mosque
- 20:55Speaker 12: in christ Church. Do you think that the Prime Minister
- 20:58Speaker 12: of Australia would use this pabulum? Do any of us
- 21:03Speaker 12: think that the Australian authorities would have allowed that to
- 21:06Speaker 12: have gone on? If for two years Muslim businesses and
- 21:10Speaker 12: Muslim places of worship had been attacked on a monthly
- 21:14Speaker 12: and weekly sometimes basis in Australia, would Albanese have decided
- 21:20Speaker 12: that that was all fine as well? These are questions
- 21:22Speaker 12: that we need to ask because we all know what
- 21:24Speaker 12: the answer to that is. No, Absolutely, he wouldn't. None
- 21:28Speaker 12: of that would have been accepted. No, if people in
- 21:30Speaker 12: the Muslim community whilst that was going on, were saying
- 21:33Speaker 12: we can't worship without people fire bombing our places of worship.
- 21:37Speaker 12: I would imagine that everyone would say something about this
- 21:39Speaker 12: and say it's not just the problem for Muslims. I mean,
- 21:43Speaker 12: why is it the case that the Australian government has
- 21:47Speaker 12: allowed this for these years. It's not like the Australian
- 21:49Speaker 12: government is some free speech absolutist entity. I gave an
- 21:53Speaker 12: example in my City Journal piece of Hillel Fuld, who
- 21:56Speaker 12: lost his brother in Israel some years ago to a
- 21:59Speaker 12: ga Is the terrorist, and whose brother, in his last
- 22:02Speaker 12: moments saved many lives by managing to kill the terrorists
- 22:07Speaker 12: before he died himself. Hillel Fuld, who lost his brother
- 22:11Speaker 12: to a g had this thought to come to Australia
- 22:13Speaker 12: last summer and was barred from entry by the Australian authorities. No, no, no,
- 22:18Speaker 12: the Australian authorities didn't bar those government. No, but they
- 22:22Speaker 12: did bar the brother of a victim of terrorism who
- 22:26Speaker 12: was going to come to Australia and might might have
- 22:29Speaker 12: said something that could have offended pro terrorism people in Australia.
- 22:33Speaker 12: So the brother of a terrorist victim was barred from Australia.
- 22:38Speaker 12: This is the Australian government's speech standards. This is the
- 22:42Speaker 12: standards of the Australian government, the bureaucracy.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Just on Australia's political response. Where among the countries that
- 22:52Speaker 3: have recognized the Palestinian state, We've had anti Israeli rallies,
- 22:57Speaker 3: as you've said, in our capital cities for more than
- 22:59Speaker 3: two years. We've had Zionism really demonized, and hate towards
- 23:05Speaker 3: the Jewish community has been normalized.
- 23:08Speaker 4: And many blame.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Australia's foreign policy for emboldening that hatred.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Douglas, do you see it that way too?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Well, it's not the primary reason.
- 23:20Speaker 12: I mean, Frankly, Australia, like Britain and most European countries,
- 23:24Speaker 12: has no significant role in the Middle East. Nobody listens
- 23:28Speaker 12: to any of them anyway, because why would they.
- 23:31Speaker 1: But you know, it certainly doesn't help, does it.
- 23:35Speaker 12: I mean again, there's an invasion of Israel by Palestinian
- 23:41Speaker 12: terrorists in October twenty twenty three, and the Australian government
- 23:46Speaker 12: is one of the governments foolish enough to decide to
- 23:51Speaker 12: reward the Palestinian terrorists by giving them yet another state,
- 23:54Speaker 12: or claiming that they can give them yet another state,
- 23:56Speaker 12: when in fact, of course, they have no ability to
- 23:58Speaker 12: do so whatsoever. Of course, the Australian government, like other
- 24:02Speaker 12: European governments and others, they pandered to these mobs. Because
- 24:06Speaker 12: of these mobs, as I say, I've seen them, you've
- 24:07Speaker 12: seen them, We've all seen them in Australia, I keep
- 24:10Speaker 12: on ratcheting up the pressure and they make these obscene
- 24:14Speaker 12: claims like Israelis are committing genocide in Gaza as opposed
- 24:19Speaker 12: to fighting a very brutal war which the Palestinians started.
- 24:25Speaker 12: And you know, as a result of this, yes, the
- 24:29Speaker 12: Australian government, like so many other.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Governments, has just pandered to the extremists.
- 24:35Speaker 12: I would if Australia had been invaded by an army
- 24:41Speaker 12: of some four thousand terrorists a couple of years ago,
- 24:45Speaker 12: you know, Rita, it wouldn't matter to what the cause
- 24:48Speaker 12: of those people was.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It wouldn't matter.
- 24:51Speaker 12: I wouldn't give them what they wanted after massacring Australia.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Would I wouldn't give what they wanted.
- 24:57Speaker 12: I would decide that, in fact, we didn't make our
- 25:00Speaker 12: policy foreign or domestic at the barrel of a gun,
- 25:03Speaker 12: or on the orders of mass rapists.
- 25:06Speaker 1: And so on.
- 25:10Speaker 12: It's a stupid thing that the Australian government did, and
- 25:16Speaker 12: it's grandiose and ignorant.
- 25:18Speaker 1: And much more. The crucial thing is that they rewarded terrorism.
- 25:22Speaker 12: But the people who seem to want a Palestinian state
- 25:25Speaker 12: the least of the Palestinians because they've had eighty years
- 25:28Speaker 12: to have a state and instead they keep on just.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Waging war on their neighbors. But I mean, no, this
- 25:34Speaker 1: whole thing.
- 25:35Speaker 12: It's pandering its weakness by the Australian government like other
- 25:39Speaker 12: governments in the West, and it's just it's so sickening.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Reto. I don't need to tell you. It's just so
- 25:47Speaker 1: sickening to.
- 25:48Speaker 12: See Australians on a beach being gunned down when none
- 25:52Speaker 12: of this had to happen, and if you had a
- 25:55Speaker 12: sensible government and sensible policies, none of this blood would
- 26:00Speaker 12: have been spilled.
- 26:03Speaker 3: And I think that's why there's such anger in the
- 26:06Speaker 3: Jewish community, because after every terrorist attack we've seen around
- 26:11Speaker 3: the West, we're told to not look back in anger
- 26:15Speaker 3: and diversity is our strength.
- 26:17Speaker 4: We must just come together.
- 26:18Speaker 3: But those words seem like just empty platitudes and they're
- 26:23Speaker 3: not working. This time Douglas. The Jewish community is angry.
- 26:27Speaker 3: They feel betrayed by our political leaders.
- 26:32Speaker 12: But it's not just the Jewish community Reta, I mean
- 26:35Speaker 12: it's everybody. Everybody in Australia has been betrayed, just as
- 26:40Speaker 12: everyone in Britain has been betrayed, just as everybody in
- 26:44Speaker 12: France has been betrayed. We've been betrayed by leaders who
- 26:48Speaker 12: make very very bad decisions and then expect the rest
- 26:52Speaker 12: of us to live with the consequences of them. Yes,
- 26:55Speaker 12: on a number of occasions, in particularly the last two years,
- 26:58Speaker 12: with the massive upsurge anti Semitism, Jews have been at
- 27:02Speaker 12: the absolute forefront of suffering this. But you know, the
- 27:07Speaker 12: people who carry out attacks on Jews, they don't like
- 27:11Speaker 12: Australia either.
- 27:13Speaker 1: They hate Australia as well.
- 27:14Speaker 12: They happen to hate the Jews first, but they hate
- 27:16Speaker 12: Australia as well. Find an Australian patriot among the pro
- 27:22Speaker 12: Isis groups in Australia, Yes, find a wonderful typical Ossie
- 27:29Speaker 12: among any of the imams and hate preachers who've been
- 27:32Speaker 12: calling for the destruction of Israel and the downfall of
- 27:35Speaker 12: the West in recent years. You know, find me a
- 27:38Speaker 12: decent patriot. Among those people, you won't find them anymore
- 27:41Speaker 12: than you will among the people calling for the same things.
- 27:44Speaker 1: In Canada, America, Britain, Europe.
- 27:48Speaker 12: It's it's it's such. It seems like such a cliche,
- 27:51Speaker 12: but it's still the truth. Sometimes just cliches are cliches.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Because they're true.
- 27:56Speaker 12: But yes, very often the Jewish and he gets this
- 28:01Speaker 12: kind of hatred and violence first, but they never last.
- 28:06Speaker 12: It's everybody else next.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And I feel so dismayed and.
- 28:12Speaker 12: Full of just horror about these events because, Frankly Reto,
- 28:17Speaker 12: as you know better than anyone, so many of us
- 28:20Speaker 12: have warned about this. It's not just the Jewish community,
- 28:23Speaker 12: many people in the Jewish community, but many others as well,
- 28:26Speaker 12: including some brave figures from the Muslim community. Is too few,
- 28:30Speaker 12: but some, and they've warned, and they've said that the
- 28:35Speaker 12: radicalization within parts of the Muslim communities has got.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Out of control. And you know, so many people warned.
- 28:44Speaker 1: It wasn't just Jews.
- 28:45Speaker 12: So many people warned, and so many people were ignored,
- 28:49Speaker 12: and so many people's lives would have been saved if
- 28:52Speaker 12: those people hadn't been ignored.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Absolutely, we've all been betrayed. By our wake ladies. Douglas, Mary,
- 29:00Speaker 3: thank you so much for your time. Tonight, gilt Car
- 29:03Speaker 3: Matt left He's losing it past the latest from the US,
- 29:06Speaker 3: including Donald Trump formally suing the BBC for five billion dollars.
- 29:11Speaker 13: C J.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Pearson has the details. You're watching the Reader Panny Show
- 29:31Speaker 3: and it's time for lefties losing it And you know
- 29:34Speaker 3: the view has become a national and international joke when
- 29:38Speaker 3: the finest TV series produced in recent years makes the
- 29:43Speaker 3: program the butt of its jokes.
- 29:46Speaker 1: What do you need?
- 29:48Speaker 14: I don't know what to do.
- 29:50Speaker 7: We'll shit do whatever.
- 29:50Speaker 14: You want to read a book and watch TVV were
- 29:53Speaker 14: in daytime talk shows. You don't like the view or something?
- 29:57Speaker 14: What's the view?
- 29:58Speaker 7: What you pissed off men about?
- 30:00Speaker 14: How much do they hate millionaires and Trump and man
- 30:03Speaker 14: and you and me and everybody else? I gotta be
- 30:05Speaker 14: up there ass about. It's pretty funny, Bill Trump funny.
- 30:10Speaker 14: I ain't jokes like Park Church by you, tund funny.
- 30:15Speaker 14: Either depends on your proximity to the fart.
- 30:19Speaker 4: That was the series.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Landman second season is out now, don't miss it. I
- 30:25Speaker 3: love how they described the view a bunch of pissed
- 30:28Speaker 3: off millionaires bitching about how much they hate millionaires and
- 30:31Speaker 3: Trump and men. That's a very good description from Billy
- 30:35Speaker 3: Bob Thornton, whoever wrote that line for him.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Now Living up.
- 30:39Speaker 3: To the worst stereotype of the program was host will
- 30:42Speaker 3: Be Goldberg, who went on an angry, unhinged rant full
- 30:47Speaker 3: of lies that she then had to apologize for.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Let's hear a little.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Bit of her tantrum, her on air tantrum, which was
- 30:54Speaker 3: the course aimed at Donald Trump.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Have you no shame?
- 31:01Speaker 13: No shame at all? This is Can you get any lower?
- 31:07Speaker 13: I don't think so. And what do you have to
- 31:10Speaker 13: say about what's happened around the world? Where is our
- 31:13Speaker 13: voice as Americans? Somebody's got to speak up for us.
- 31:18Speaker 13: Our hearts are breaking through all of this, through Rob,
- 31:22Speaker 13: through what's happened at Bondai Beach, what happened at Brown
- 31:26Speaker 13: And you don't find the time to say, as Americans,
- 31:31Speaker 13: we hate what's happening. You ain't my president. Man.
- 31:35Speaker 4: We'll be right back.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Oh they were right back or right, and Whoopee was
- 31:39Speaker 3: forced to correct her lies.
- 31:41Speaker 4: How humiliating.
- 31:43Speaker 13: I'm gonna make a correction here. As it turns out,
- 31:46Speaker 13: yesterday apparently you know who put his condolences out to
- 31:53Speaker 13: the people who are looking down at us from heaven
- 31:56Speaker 13: and the folks at Brown.
- 32:00Speaker 4: She say, you know who.
- 32:01Speaker 3: She can't even bring herself to say President Trump's name.
- 32:05Speaker 3: She's a child reading Harry Potter and unable to save Voldemort.
- 32:09Speaker 3: But even as she corrected her lies and confirmed that
- 32:13Speaker 3: President Trump had shared condolences for the shootings at Brown
- 32:16Speaker 3: University and the Islamist terror attack at Bondi Beach, she
- 32:21Speaker 3: still had more vitriol.
- 32:23Speaker 2: My bad.
- 32:24Speaker 13: You did say something, not what I would like to
- 32:27Speaker 13: have heard from you, but you did do it, So
- 32:31Speaker 13: there you go.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Let's hear now from Nashville Councilwoman Delicia Porterfield giving a vacuous,
- 32:39Speaker 3: meaningless land acknowledgment and then taking it one step further
- 32:44Speaker 3: and claiming that illegal immigration is not even a thing
- 32:47Speaker 3: because everyone.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Is illegal on stolen land. Where did they find these people?
- 32:53Speaker 15: Good evening everyone, Today is December of the fourth. I
- 32:56Speaker 15: want to start by acknowledging that this meeting is being
- 32:59Speaker 15: healed on the unseated stolen land of the Cherokee, shiny
- 33:03Speaker 15: and Uchi people, and to remind you that no one
- 33:06Speaker 15: is illegal on stolen land. Built by stolen labor.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Now this next dude may be in a dress, but
- 33:14Speaker 3: he knows precisely who and what he is and is
- 33:17Speaker 3: not obsessed with policing other people's speech or playing the victim.
- 33:22Speaker 4: This is how it should be.
- 33:24Speaker 16: It is having a penis make you any loss of
- 33:26Speaker 16: a woman.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I will never lose my penis.
- 33:29Speaker 16: I'm not gonna do no surgery.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Are you a woman?
- 33:32Speaker 14: No'm I'm a kind of penis man.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I'm a man.
- 33:35Speaker 1: What is a woman?
- 33:36Speaker 14: A real woman is one that's got a vagina on it.
- 33:39Speaker 14: But I'm a cross dresser.
- 33:42Speaker 1: I'm a man.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I'm a man.
- 33:44Speaker 6: I really am.
- 33:45Speaker 2: So you're not a woman.
- 33:46Speaker 17: I am not a woman, and I don't clim to
- 33:48Speaker 17: be a woman, and I don't want to be a woman,
- 33:51Speaker 17: and I have.
- 33:51Speaker 4: No concern reason well said sir.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Now contrast that with this next last. I say last
- 33:58Speaker 3: because it is a war. But she goes by multiple pronouns,
- 34:03Speaker 3: in fact all of them.
- 34:05Speaker 4: It's a bit grady.
- 34:07Speaker 5: My pronouns are they them? Or at least that's what
- 34:09Speaker 5: I share with people most often. But for this particular meeting,
- 34:13Speaker 5: I will come out fully as saying that my pronouns
- 34:15Speaker 5: are she they him.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Now listen to this lefty losing it, reportedly a nurse, bright,
- 34:21Speaker 3: a poor worker just doing her job at Target. She
- 34:25Speaker 3: launches the most vile verbal attack on this worker, who
- 34:29Speaker 3: somehow manages to remain calm and polite.
- 34:32Speaker 18: Do you let you wear that shirt?
- 34:33Speaker 8: Shirt?
- 34:34Speaker 4: Yes?
- 34:35Speaker 18: So?
- 34:37Speaker 4: Why are you taking to my picture?
- 34:38Speaker 14: Why are you wearing that shirt?
- 34:39Speaker 18: You're working? It's not a Target hair shirt.
- 34:42Speaker 4: I can wear red, any red shirt.
- 34:44Speaker 18: It's not a plane shirt. It doesn't have to be
- 34:48Speaker 18: so Charlie kirkshirt. Yes, oh yes, I know.
- 34:51Speaker 8: Stupid.
- 34:52Speaker 18: No, why do you wear that You're at work at Target?
- 34:56Speaker 18: That's not a Target shirt. It's not a plain red shirt.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You support a racis and it's not racist.
- 35:05Speaker 18: You support Arasis. Yes he is. Yes, I'm here and
- 35:12Speaker 18: arguing you're not. You should go get your manager. You
- 35:14Speaker 18: should not be allowed to wear the artwork. Unacceptable, unacceptable,
- 35:19Speaker 18: that's your The opinion is he's the faces and you
- 35:22Speaker 18: support him and you shouldn't be. You should not be
- 35:26Speaker 18: allowed to wear that. This is going to be taken
- 35:30Speaker 18: above your that's insane and scene.
- 35:37Speaker 9: And peace.
- 35:43Speaker 3: That woman deserves a go fund me page for putting
- 35:45Speaker 3: up with that and that nurse should never work again,
- 35:49Speaker 3: not with people anyway. Now, let's go to the failed
- 35:52Speaker 3: city of Minneapolis in the once great state of Minnesota
- 35:56Speaker 3: before it became known for crime, fraud and gum.
- 36:00Speaker 4: A tampon Tim Wolls.
- 36:02Speaker 3: But Wolls is not the only inept clown in the stage.
- 36:05Speaker 4: We're about to hear from the stupidly.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Woke Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara, who seems to think
- 36:12Speaker 3: imposing the law, imposing immigration law is akin to persecuting
- 36:17Speaker 3: baby Jesus.
- 36:19Speaker 17: It cannot help but think of what is happening in
- 36:23Speaker 17: our city today and how that echoes with how outsiders
- 36:28Speaker 17: have been treated for thousands of years, how Mary and
- 36:33Speaker 17: Joseph themselves were considered outsiders and forced to stay in
- 36:39Speaker 17: a barn. That's what we're getting ready to commemorate as
- 36:43Speaker 17: Christians around the world while all of this fear is
- 36:48Speaker 17: happening right here in our town.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Joining me now is the RNC Youth Advisory Council co CHAIRCJ.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Pearson. CJ. What's your response to that?
- 37:01Speaker 16: You know, I'm speechless, and I'm never speechless, so it
- 37:04Speaker 16: doesn't I don't even honestly believe the words that came
- 37:07Speaker 16: out of his mouth. You know, those in the left
- 37:09Speaker 16: love to quote the Bible when it's convenient, but they
- 37:12Speaker 16: never quote the Bible when it comes to muiliating the
- 37:14Speaker 16: generals of children. Never quote the Bible when it comes
- 37:17Speaker 16: to there being only two genders. They never quote the
- 37:19Speaker 16: Bible when it comes to actually believing in the basic
- 37:22Speaker 16: premises of the text. But when it comes to allowing
- 37:26Speaker 16: unfettered illegal immigration to our country, they all of a
- 37:29Speaker 16: sudden become theologians.
- 37:30Speaker 2: It's quite interesting to me.
- 37:32Speaker 16: But here's the deal. When it comes to this, if
- 37:35Speaker 16: these police officers are more focused on actually going after
- 37:38Speaker 16: real criminals and violent crime and instead not defending violent
- 37:42Speaker 16: criminal realiens, maybe the state of Minnesota would be a
- 37:45Speaker 16: lot safer safer and people would be moving into the
- 37:49Speaker 16: state and not running for the hills.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Now, say Jay, let's talk about the media and the
- 37:56Speaker 3: talk in DC today is all about that vantishy piece.
- 38:00Speaker 3: But before we dive into that one, President Donald Trump
- 38:04Speaker 3: has officially sued the BBC for five billion dollars. He's
- 38:09Speaker 3: described the British broadcasters editing of his speech as deceptive
- 38:14Speaker 3: and inflammatory.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Let's have a look.
- 38:16Speaker 3: At just how deceptive the BBC was We're going.
- 38:20Speaker 12: To walk down to the capital and I'll be there
- 38:24Speaker 12: with you.
- 38:25Speaker 2: And we fight. We fight like hell. We're going to
- 38:29Speaker 2: walk down to the capital.
- 38:34Speaker 17: And we're going to cheer on our brave.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Senators and congressmen and women.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Just the subtle difference there, ZJ.
- 38:43Speaker 3: The President has had fantastic success suing media companies for
- 38:48Speaker 3: their deliberate lives. Has had big wins against mainstream media
- 38:51Speaker 3: including ABC and CBS, and also social media giants like
- 38:56Speaker 3: the meta Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Now X does he
- 39:01Speaker 3: do you expect him to have another big win here?
- 39:04Speaker 3: Five billion dollars is an extraordinary sum to be seeking.
- 39:10Speaker 16: Well, reader, based on that track record, I certainly would
- 39:12Speaker 16: embed against him. You know, this is a guy who
- 39:14Speaker 16: has quickly become the f around and find out president.
- 39:17Speaker 16: For some reason, all these people seem so eager to
- 39:20Speaker 16: find out. It seems as if BBC is something going
- 39:23Speaker 16: to be nags in that list.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Now, let's talk about that story dominating DC today and
- 39:31Speaker 3: beyond DC. It's going to be said it's a Vanity
- 39:35Speaker 3: Fair profile on White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.
- 39:40Speaker 4: She has slammed Vanity Fair.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Accused the reporter Chris Whipple of writing a disingenuously framed
- 39:46Speaker 3: hit piece. She also said significant context was disregarded and
- 39:51Speaker 3: much of what I and others said about the team
- 39:54Speaker 3: and the president was left out of the story. Well, duh, lady,
- 39:59Speaker 3: my question see why in God's name would Susie Wiles
- 40:03Speaker 3: any person in the Trump administration trust a media outlet
- 40:08Speaker 3: like Vanity Fair.
- 40:09Speaker 4: I mean, this is an own goal, you know.
- 40:12Speaker 16: I think sometimes you're a little you have a little
- 40:14Speaker 16: of optimism, and probably you see people better than what
- 40:17Speaker 16: they actually are. And so I think looking at this
- 40:20Speaker 16: story with Vanity Fair, Vandy Fair will be Vanity Fair,
- 40:23Speaker 16: but I think it's still deceitful, and it's obvious what
- 40:26Speaker 16: their goal was to be here. They're trying to divide
- 40:28Speaker 16: the most effective chief of staff we've seen in probably
- 40:31Speaker 16: American history from president who's been incredibly effective. But fake
- 40:35Speaker 16: narratives don't actually distort real results, and what we've seen
- 40:38Speaker 16: in this president are exactly that, results that have been
- 40:41Speaker 16: executed by a very competent chief of staff. You know,
- 40:44Speaker 16: I think this was an unfortunate situation by deceitful journalists
- 40:48Speaker 16: who sought more to make himself the story in the
- 40:50Speaker 16: headline than actually portray the truth of what an incredible
- 40:53Speaker 16: leader Susie Willis has been.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Well again, I think he can't be that naive. You
- 41:02Speaker 3: know how these media atlets operate, you know, the individual
- 41:06Speaker 3: journalist and their ideology. It's quite often very public. And
- 41:12Speaker 3: you've put yourself in that position. I think it's got
- 41:15Speaker 3: to be on you. I mean, some of the comments
- 41:18Speaker 3: that have been attributed to the President's chief of staff
- 41:21Speaker 3: include the claim that President Trump, who is a teetotler,
- 41:24Speaker 3: he's never had alcohol. She described him as someone with
- 41:28Speaker 3: an alcoholics personality, and she said the Vice President JD.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Vance has been a conspiracy theorist for a decade. Now,
- 41:36Speaker 3: I understand the context around that is missing CJ.
- 41:40Speaker 4: But it doesn't look great.
- 41:43Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 41:43Speaker 16: I think contact is definitely missing there. And I think
- 41:46Speaker 16: when she referred to the President as having a little
- 41:48Speaker 16: bit of an alcoholic personality, she meant that he was
- 41:51Speaker 16: obsessive about putting wins on the on the table for
- 41:55Speaker 16: the American people. And I think he's done exactly that.
- 41:57Speaker 16: When it comes to ged Vance, we can speak theorists.
- 42:01Speaker 16: I think I often say, is the conspiracy the conspiracy
- 42:03Speaker 16: theorists of today? The truth tellers of tomorrow, and I
- 42:06Speaker 16: think Jay evanstro being proven right about a lot of
- 42:08Speaker 16: the things that were once conspiracy theories. They're now just
- 42:11Speaker 16: matters of fact today. And so, you know, a lot
- 42:14Speaker 16: of these quotes, I think we can't take them at
- 42:16Speaker 16: face value just because of how deceitful we know left
- 42:18Speaker 16: wing publications like The Vanity Fair to be. But I
- 42:21Speaker 16: think that this White House has certainly probably learned its
- 42:24Speaker 16: lesson not just from the quotes, but from the photographs.
- 42:27Speaker 16: I think the photographs were one of the things that
- 42:28Speaker 16: actually really caught my eye just.
- 42:30Speaker 2: How deceitful they are.
- 42:32Speaker 16: You know, you see a picture of Kalleen John Peter
- 42:34Speaker 16: in a previous article that they did about her, where
- 42:36Speaker 16: she looks like a supermodel Tyra Banks even maybe right,
- 42:39Speaker 16: but Caroline Levitt, they absolutely edited to make it look
- 42:44Speaker 16: just unlike her. And I've seen Caroline Levin in person
- 42:47Speaker 16: many many times. She does not look like any of
- 42:49Speaker 16: the photos that I saw come out of this article.
- 42:51Speaker 16: It's absolutely deceitful in every way whatsoever.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Well, I'm not shocked because when they put together a
- 42:58Speaker 3: hit pace, it's comprehensive.
- 43:00Speaker 4: It's not just the framing of the story.
- 43:03Speaker 3: It's not just what they deliberately exclude, but it's the pictures.
- 43:07Speaker 4: It's the images, it's the captions, it's the whole lot.
- 43:10Speaker 4: That's why you do not trust these people.
- 43:14Speaker 1: C J.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Pearson, thank you for your time.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Tonight, Thanks for having me. Good us here you still
- 43:19Speaker 1: to come.
- 43:20Speaker 3: My Hollywood director Rob ryaner is tragic murder, allegedly at
- 43:23Speaker 3: the hands of his own son. Michael Lofters has the details.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Welcome back.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Joining me now is writer and comedian Michael Lofters.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Michael.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Earlier this week, film director Rob Rayner and his wife
- 43:51Speaker 3: Michelle were found dead in their Los Angeles home. Los
- 43:55Speaker 3: Angeles prosecutors have charged the couple's son, Nick Reiner, with
- 43:59Speaker 3: two counts of murder. What more can you tell us
- 44:02Speaker 3: about this tragic case?
- 44:06Speaker 2: I don't I don't really know.
- 44:07Speaker 19: And it's and it's hard to even take any kind
- 44:10Speaker 19: of stance on it right now because every time you
- 44:14Speaker 19: turn around, there's some.
- 44:15Speaker 2: New crazy development.
- 44:17Speaker 19: It's like, oh, it's bad enough that there's this this horrible,
- 44:21Speaker 19: horrible thing happened, and then you find out, oh, wait,
- 44:24Speaker 19: there was a party at Conan O'Brien's house and there
- 44:26Speaker 19: was an argument there, Oh, and this guy was mad
- 44:29Speaker 19: at Bill Hayter, and you're like, who could possibly be
- 44:32Speaker 19: mad at Bill Hayter? And then now you find out
- 44:35Speaker 19: that people are angry at Trump because of the tweet.
- 44:38Speaker 19: And then now you're finding out that like Rob Reiner
- 44:41Speaker 19: was in cahoots with Clapper and Komy, and the whole
- 44:45Speaker 19: Russia gets you just I just need to step back
- 44:49Speaker 19: from this whole thing for a good long time. It's
- 44:51Speaker 19: like one of those Russian nesting dolls. Every time you
- 44:54Speaker 19: open it, there's like a new, huge development.
- 44:57Speaker 3: You're right, Michael, this case is mol to lay it
- 45:00Speaker 3: and we're finding out more and more, and at its heart,
- 45:04Speaker 3: it's a tragedy to have a loving couple killed allegedly
- 45:08Speaker 3: at the hands of their son. Cinematographer Barry Markowitz was
- 45:13Speaker 3: a close friend of the Rhiners, and he said just
- 45:15Speaker 3: a few weeks ago they were enjoying loving dinners and
- 45:19Speaker 3: TV time with their children. He said, he was business
- 45:22Speaker 3: as usual in the house. They eat dinner together, old
- 45:25Speaker 3: school and a lot of love, always a lot of love.
- 45:29Speaker 3: This crime has sent shock waves through Hollywood. Michael Rayner's
- 45:35Speaker 3: politics has been in the spotlight, but his list of achievements,
- 45:39Speaker 3: the list of movies he was involved with, it's impressive
- 45:43Speaker 3: his back catalog. He leaves a powerful legacy.
- 45:49Speaker 19: Yeah, there was a stretch there where Rob Reiner was
- 45:52Speaker 19: like the Babe Ruth of Hollywood. I mean it was,
- 45:56Speaker 19: you know, spinal tap misery, stand by me when Harry
- 46:01Speaker 19: mets Like every movie was just.
- 46:03Speaker 2: A ginormous blockbuster.
- 46:06Speaker 19: And thankfully will always have those because the guy was
- 46:11Speaker 19: incredibly gifted. And James Woods, Rob Reiner gave James Woods
- 46:18Speaker 19: career a huge breath of life. So the wonderful thing
- 46:22Speaker 19: about Reiner is, like the people who worked with him,
- 46:26Speaker 19: you could separate the art from the artist and the
- 46:28Speaker 19: politics from the director.
- 46:30Speaker 2: And I think that's what a lot of people need
- 46:32Speaker 2: to do. Now.
- 46:33Speaker 19: You can disagree with people but still appreciate the wonderful,
- 46:37Speaker 19: wonderful films that he's made.
- 46:40Speaker 2: You can't.
- 46:41Speaker 19: You can't argue with his list of success It's it's
- 46:44Speaker 19: just amazing.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Let's bring some happy news.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Donald Trump Junior has asked Palm Beach socialite be Tina
- 46:52Speaker 3: Anderson to be his bride over the weekend at Camp David.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Page six reports the couple jetted to the presidential retreat
- 47:01Speaker 3: to celebrate and since thirty ninth birthday, and that's where
- 47:05Speaker 3: Trump Junior dropped one knee and propose here is the
- 47:09Speaker 3: happy couple earlier today with President Trump. It's really been
- 47:15Speaker 3: the most unforgettable weekend of my life.
- 47:17Speaker 12: And as Mary the love of my life, and I'm
- 47:20Speaker 12: just like the luckiest girl on the world.
- 47:22Speaker 11: So thank you.
- 47:23Speaker 5: I think you're to thank you.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 47:31Speaker 4: Michael. Are we going to have a white House wedding?
- 47:35Speaker 19: I think we'll and we should have it in that
- 47:38Speaker 19: that brand new ballroom. That thing's already paid for itself.
- 47:42Speaker 19: Now I just have my fingers crossed that some liberal
- 47:45Speaker 19: judge doesn't find this wedding to be unconstitutional and cancels
- 47:50Speaker 19: the whole thing.
- 47:53Speaker 3: I would not be shocked and Biden appointed judge will
- 47:56Speaker 3: declare that this wedding could not possibly go ahead. Now,
- 48:00Speaker 3: before you go, Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica Kirk, and Candace
- 48:04Speaker 3: Owens have come together explain to my audience the significance
- 48:09Speaker 3: of this meeting.
- 48:10Speaker 4: And it went for some four and a half hours.
- 48:12Speaker 19: Michael, Yeah, the mystery and the plot deepens here with
- 48:17Speaker 19: this one. Candace Owens has a lot of conspiracies well,
- 48:21Speaker 19: I should say theories about what she thinks.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Is really going on.
- 48:25Speaker 19: And then Erica kirk as if she hasn't been through enough,
- 48:29Speaker 19: I think really took the high rode to do this
- 48:31Speaker 19: private meeting, and.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Good for these two girls.
- 48:34Speaker 19: Get together, hash it out, and let's figure out what
- 48:38Speaker 19: the next step is. How do we grow the movement
- 48:41Speaker 19: that Charlie started, and how do we stop this infighting
- 48:46Speaker 19: and move forward because the last time I checked, the
- 48:48Speaker 19: world still has plenty of problems.
- 48:50Speaker 3: To solve, absolutely, and the last thing we need is
- 48:55Speaker 3: conservatives turning on conservatives over well, really any issue. Michael Loftus,
- 49:00Speaker 3: thank you so much for your time tonight, and that's
- 49:03Speaker 3: all the time I have. Newsnight is up next
