- 0:21her chicken coop along with all her chickens.
- 0:28Hey, everybody, good morning. From the very busy chicken coop,
- 0:32all kinds of girls laying eggs out here already.
- 0:35So today I want to talk to you guys about what you do when you
- 0:39have this repetitive negative thoughts that are going off in
- 0:43your head. Now, I want to be really clear
- 0:45about this. That's that's called being
- 0:47human. Negative thoughts are part of
- 0:51our strategy to protect ourselves.
- 0:52They're just part of how we are hard wired and they are part of
- 0:56the system to keep us safe. You know, negative thoughts come
- 1:00in because they are telling us to be cautious.
- 1:02They think they're helping. So of course you're going to
- 1:06have them. Of course they're going to show
- 1:07up. Of course, it's part of our
- 1:09dynamic of just being human beings.
- 1:12That being said, we don't like them.
- 1:14We don't want to keep them and we have to get rid of them.
- 1:17So once you recognize that they're not giving you useful
- 1:21information that you already know you, you've taken what you
- 1:25needed, you already get it. For instance, let's just say
- 1:29there's something going on in the market and your your
- 1:32business is off or whatever. And your negative thoughts are
- 1:35just like, you know, the market's off.
- 1:37You know you have to pay attention to certain things in
- 1:40order to be OK. So you do that like you're,
- 1:43you've got the information, there's no question you've got
- 1:45the information. You know what you need to do
- 1:48when you're working on it. Ruminating on the negative
- 1:51thought does not necessarily help you become more successful
- 1:56because it ends up attracting more negative thoughts and more
- 2:00awful things that can come your way.
- 2:02So they have to stop. The initial part of that though,
- 2:05the initial part of it coming up and trying to give you
- 2:07information is so you can get your butt moving, so that you
- 2:11can actually start to make things happen.
- 2:13Because if you didn't have those thoughts, then you wouldn't know
- 2:17there was a sense of urgency. Does that make sense?
- 2:19So you're you're pushing yourself with that information,
- 2:22but once the information is there, staying in that is toxic.
- 2:26Keeping that loop going is toxic because it's not helping you get
- 2:30past it. All it's doing is causing you to
- 2:32stay depleted, calling you to stay in a place of saying, oh
- 2:36gosh, now here I am and I don't know what to do.
- 2:40This is terrible. I am stuck.
- 2:42And you know it's never going to get any better.
- 2:43What if it never gets any better?
- 2:45I love when the negative thoughts go down the road of
- 2:47what if, what if, what if, what if, what if?
- 2:50That is so debilitating when you're in the what ifs and you
- 2:56can't break that pattern. And I'm not saying that you
- 2:59can't. I'm saying in your head you say
- 3:00I just can't seem to stop this. You have to realize that most of
- 3:05the time it's because you are running a pattern you've already
- 3:09ran many, many times. So it's very ingrained.
- 3:13It's really in you and you have to change your approach.
- 3:16Now for me, this comes down to not putting myself into the the
- 3:23my head alone, meaning I will listen to audibles.
- 3:26Sometimes I can't even read because my negative thoughts
- 3:29take over and I'll read the same paragraph five times and I'm not
- 3:33taking any of it in. My eyes are reading the words,
- 3:35but my head is still looping. I'm and I know anyone who's
- 3:39listening could probably say they've had the same thing
- 3:41happen but that's where Audible is so great.
- 3:45If you don't have an Audible account or you've never used it,
- 3:47go get one because it's the best thing ever.
- 3:49You put the headset on and you just start listening.
- 3:52Now the bonus to this is even if you're not consciously
- 3:56listening, your subconscious mind is listening.
- 3:59Your subconscious mind is taking in that information and it's
- 4:03working behind the scenes. You don't always see it, but
- 4:06this is just like a seed in the ground.
- 4:08The seed in the ground is growing.
- 4:10You don't see what's happening underneath.
- 4:12You don't know what's going on. You don't know that those the
- 4:15seed has cracked. The roots are there.
- 4:16You don't know anything. All you know is I put it there.
- 4:20I'm waiting to see what happens. We're willing to do that with
- 4:23seeds, but we don't do that with our head.
- 4:25And I'm telling you, the most useful thing that I can tell you
- 4:29today is get an Audible account and start listening.
- 4:33Because you're not qualified to be in your own head.
- 4:35So you have to stop it. You have to shut that voice off,
- 4:39and the only way you can do it is by drowning out the voice
- 4:42with somebody elses voice. So pick a book.
- 4:46You know, one of my favorite all time books and I know I've, I've
- 4:51professed this many times. If you've seen me speak, if
- 4:54you've have seen any videos, if you've done anything.
- 4:56I've been on the podcast. You know, I talk about Doctor
- 4:59Joseph Murphy, but I love this guy.
- 5:02And again, he's sadly passed away years ago.
- 5:07But his energy, his thoughts, he was so simple and so pragmatic
- 5:10and so on point. And he has a little book called
- 5:14How to Attract Money by Doctor Joseph Murphy.
- 5:17This book was written during the Depression and it is fabulous
- 5:22because no matter what your struggle is in your business or
- 5:26with the markets or anything, once you listen to this book,
- 5:29and I've listened to this book, I'm not even exaggerating when I
- 5:32tell you I've listened to it over 500 times.
- 5:35There are parts of this that I know verbatim, if not like
- 5:39entire chunks of it, Most of it it.
- 5:42It is by far one of the best things on the planet.
- 5:46So grab the book, read the book, and stop staying in your own
- 5:50head because it's not resourceful and it won't help
- 5:53you. The trick to remember is
- 5:55everything that you have always done is in play in those moments
- 5:59of pressure and stress and you have to interrupt those
- 6:02patterns. And quite honestly, we are not
- 6:06qualified to interrupt our own patterns sometimes because we
- 6:09have always done it the way we've always done it.
- 6:10So we don't know to do it any different.
- 6:12We need different ideas, different strategies, different
- 6:14thoughts, different energy. And that's what using Mr. Murphy
- 6:18and Audible or anybody else that you might want to listen to.
- 6:21But don't go to a book that's like a fiction book.
- 6:24Go to a book that's like a self help book that you can listen to
- 6:28and take in different ideas because you know those crumbs
- 6:32are like little seeds that you're planning that are going
- 6:34to change things for you. So work on this.
- 6:37Try this, but don't stay unresourceful.
- 6:40OK my friends, I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:42I hope you have a blessed day. Bye.
