- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 1: Say, what are you trying to do?
- 0:03Speaker 3: Beyond the usual controversial talking and welcome to prepare yourself.
- 0:14Speaker 4: Okay for Craig now preparing my dew spectacle here.
- 0:20Speaker 5: Particulate stimulated, gets your writing.
- 0:25Speaker 1: There you go, you start becoming a team.
- 0:30Speaker 6: Is the Craig Pullin Show.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Jesus, oh God, no talking to het.
- 0:36Speaker 2: This station is well the ultimate power in the universe.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Your host's a good man, Craig.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That's right. This is the Craig Collins Show. K S
- 0:46Speaker 1: e V. The Voice of Texas.
- 0:48Speaker 7: Thrilled to be with you from six to seven o'clock
- 0:50Speaker 7: every single night on this radio station. So much stuff
- 0:54Speaker 7: to talk about in the world of politics, Texas politics.
- 0:59Speaker 7: Ken Paxton made a Hearentans on Fox over the weekend
- 1:01Speaker 7: that I thought was interesting Saturday in America, I think
- 1:04Speaker 7: was the show that he was on with Kaylee Mcananny,
- 1:07Speaker 7: who was a great press secretary herself, one of several
- 1:11Speaker 7: that President Trump has had. And it's interesting to see
- 1:14Speaker 7: who will be next in that role. But lots and
- 1:16Speaker 7: lots of things, as I said out there, to discuss.
- 1:19Speaker 7: I do want to start with this though, and Chris
- 1:22Speaker 7: Salsato will be joining me tomorrow on this show, which
- 1:25Speaker 7: I'm very excited about. I'm happy that he's going to
- 1:27Speaker 7: make some time in the evening to jump on and
- 1:30Speaker 7: talk to me. But what a run at KSV for
- 1:33Speaker 7: Chris Salsado fourteen years as our morning show host. He
- 1:37Speaker 7: announced this morning, if you don't know what I'm talking about,
- 1:40Speaker 7: that he will be stepping away at the end of
- 1:42Speaker 7: this week. Salsato has been a fixture of a political
- 1:47Speaker 7: conversation in Texas his television show whatever for so long,
- 1:51Speaker 7: and that's not going to change. I think he did
- 1:54Speaker 7: simply tease what's coming up next for him, and I
- 1:58Speaker 7: think more information about that will likely be revealed. I'm
- 2:01Speaker 7: probably gonna press him on it when I have him
- 2:03Speaker 7: on the show tomorrow. I don't know if he'll tell
- 2:06Speaker 7: me anything, because he probably can't until it all gets announced.
- 2:09Speaker 7: But I think he said there's gonna be like a
- 2:11Speaker 7: soft opening to what he does next next week, and
- 2:15Speaker 7: then the week after that a big opening to what
- 2:17Speaker 7: he does next. He also mentioned that he had hoped
- 2:20Speaker 7: that KSV could factor into the equation as far as
- 2:23Speaker 7: his next opportunity, and unfortunately that didn't work out.
- 2:26Speaker 1: The way he might have hoped it. Who knows.
- 2:28Speaker 7: Who knows if Salsato will wind up being a voice
- 2:31Speaker 7: you hear occasionally or often somehow via this radio station.
- 2:35Speaker 7: It's so weird. I'll say this for anybody who's sad
- 2:39Speaker 7: this week that Salsado is departing. You never know in
- 2:43Speaker 7: this industry what happens. I heard Chris X joke about
- 2:46Speaker 7: whether or not he's fired at the end of this week.
- 2:48Speaker 7: Who knows if I'm fired?
- 2:49Speaker 1: You never know. But you also don't know who's coming
- 2:51Speaker 1: back through a door.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Which has been one of the more amusing things that
- 2:55Speaker 7: I've seen throughout my radio career is that you watch
- 2:57Speaker 7: people go, you wave him goodbye, you wish him good luck,
- 3:00Speaker 7: and like three months later, you're sitting next to them
- 3:02Speaker 7: at a meeting and they're like, ah, awesome, you're back.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So you never I don't know. I'm not saying that
- 3:07Speaker 1: I have.
- 3:07Speaker 7: Any reason to think that like Salsado will return a
- 3:10Speaker 7: few months after leaving. I just I think it's interesting
- 3:12Speaker 7: this industry and the way it works so consistently, the
- 3:16Speaker 7: way that you see that so wildly often that I
- 3:19Speaker 7: figure I at least mentioned it.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And again we'll talk to him about it tomorrow.
- 3:23Speaker 7: But he deserves a bunch of praise for what he
- 3:25Speaker 7: did for years here, for fourteen years here. KSEV Radio
- 3:30Speaker 7: is certainly a place and Salsado talked about it that
- 3:33Speaker 7: is an outlier in the radio industry, meaning that it's
- 3:36Speaker 7: an independently owned company when you're seeing a lot of
- 3:39Speaker 7: independently owned companies go away, that is still fighting, that
- 3:43Speaker 7: is still making its way here in this community, one
- 3:46Speaker 7: of the biggest cities in the country. Again, all just
- 3:49Speaker 7: echoing stuff that Salsado said this morning, and so it's amazing.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And he said that he would have loved to have.
- 3:55Speaker 7: Retired here if things could have worked out differently than
- 3:58Speaker 7: they did. And I think Barrett Media and others it
- 4:00Speaker 7: so industry like press covered it things that some of
- 4:05Speaker 7: us radio people pay attention to. You that you listening
- 4:07Speaker 7: probably don't pay that much attention to. But anyway, just
- 4:10Speaker 7: one more time, congratulations on an incredible run for Salsado
- 4:14Speaker 7: and his morning show. And I'm sure he'll be missed
- 4:17Speaker 7: not just by our listeners and our audience, but by us,
- 4:21Speaker 7: by the people that he got to know here. For you,
- 4:24Speaker 7: not necessarily me, I'm the new guy.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Although I definitely.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Got to talk to Salsado quite a bit on the
- 4:29Speaker 7: phone throughout the time that I've worked here, but I'm
- 4:32Speaker 7: sure everybody else who knows him quite a bit better
- 4:34Speaker 7: and for quite a bit longer. And I think he
- 4:36Speaker 7: even referenced having conversations last week the Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick,
- 4:41Speaker 7: who owns the place, and that's pretty cool. I've gotten
- 4:44Speaker 7: to meet the Lieutenant Governor once, and I also thought that.
- 4:47Speaker 1: That was cool.
- 4:49Speaker 7: And probably not if I call Dan Patrick someone that
- 4:52Speaker 7: he'd answer the phone, not because he dislikes me.
- 4:54Speaker 1: He probably like, who the hell is this guy?
- 4:55Speaker 7: No, I'm kidding, But anyway, I'm sure we'll hear more
- 4:58Speaker 7: from Salsado all week via What's Next. And I think
- 5:02Speaker 7: he even referenced that he and Russell might get a
- 5:05Speaker 7: little emotional on Friday, because Russell are our program director
- 5:09Speaker 7: has also been his producer for all fourteen years of
- 5:12Speaker 7: his run, which is almost unheard of in radio as well.
- 5:16Speaker 7: One for a program director to also be running the
- 5:18Speaker 7: board and producing stuff, but two for you know, a
- 5:21Speaker 7: team to be doing the same thing for as long
- 5:23Speaker 7: as they have, so you know, one more time. I
- 5:26Speaker 7: know it took a lot of time to talk about
- 5:27Speaker 7: something that's inside baseball for us here in radio that
- 5:31Speaker 7: I'm assuming a whole lot of the audience cares quite
- 5:34Speaker 7: a bit about, just because you know, we become family,
- 5:37Speaker 7: the listeners hopefully become family with us, the hosts.
- 5:41Speaker 1: All right, I do want to start with Ken Paxton.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Paxton, as I said, did an interview over the weekend
- 5:46Speaker 7: where one of the questions that came up was about
- 5:49Speaker 7: the crazy stuff. Tallar Rico says, this is the reason
- 5:52Speaker 7: Paxton needs more money. His campaign, I should say needs
- 5:56Speaker 7: more money because Texans need to know the saying things
- 6:00Speaker 7: that Ken Paxton's or that excuse me, that James Tallerrico says,
- 6:03Speaker 7: and it's Ken Paxton's job to get that information out
- 6:07Speaker 7: to you to everybody. That all of his ads should
- 6:10Speaker 7: have that as a core component of it. And yet
- 6:13Speaker 7: we're just not seeing enough ads from Paxson right now.
- 6:16Speaker 7: And it sounds that money is a part of that fight,
- 6:18Speaker 7: that there's not as much raised as there should be,
- 6:21Speaker 7: and maybe there's a strategic decision to wait a little
- 6:24Speaker 7: longer to start rolling these ads out and say October
- 6:27Speaker 7: when they probably should be rolled out now. I would
- 6:30Speaker 7: think that you need this before Labor Day to be
- 6:33Speaker 7: a thing that you're doing. But tall Rico talked about
- 6:36Speaker 7: how Texas is brainwashing children using the Bible as propaganda.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I think was the way that tall Rico phrased it.
- 6:43Speaker 7: And mcinanny asked Ken Paxton what he thought of that idea.
- 6:48Speaker 7: That's something that is probably a core component of how
- 6:51Speaker 7: a lot of us live our lives here in the
- 6:53Speaker 7: state faith and how tall Rico is describing it as propaganda.
- 6:58Speaker 7: The Bible itself, ten Commandments, things like that are somehow
- 7:02Speaker 7: to one of the two people running for a Senate
- 7:04Speaker 7: seat in this state controversial, which should be one of
- 7:08Speaker 7: many things that is disqualifying for the candidate himself.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But here we go.
- 7:12Speaker 8: No, we're teaching history. We're teaching things that happened in
- 7:16Speaker 8: the past. Some of those are biblical, some of those
- 7:18Speaker 8: are most is not biblical. So it's broad history. And
- 7:22Speaker 8: I don't know why James tall Rico, he says he's
- 7:24Speaker 8: a Christian, although he says he hates Christianity does has
- 7:27Speaker 8: attacked Christianity at every stage, including this teaching and even
- 7:31Speaker 8: putting the Ten Commandments in. He said it was Christian
- 7:34Speaker 8: bullying and hypocrisy on our part to have the ten
- 7:39Speaker 8: in our school. So he's definitely on the fringe element
- 7:42Speaker 8: of people in Texas, but they just don't know it.
- 7:45Speaker 8: So that's one of the reasons he's avoiding the media
- 7:47Speaker 8: is because he doesn't want to answer your questions about
- 7:49Speaker 8: his radical socialist democratic views.
- 7:52Speaker 7: Well, he wants to reshape himself too, is what I
- 7:54Speaker 7: would have said as a follow up question to Ken Paxton.
- 7:57Speaker 7: There is Tallarico wants to pretend he's been something else
- 8:00Speaker 7: his entire career, And essentially this is always the game
- 8:03Speaker 7: plan of the left.
- 8:05Speaker 1: They treat you like your bleep and stupid.
- 8:07Speaker 7: I want to say a different word, I can't, so
- 8:09Speaker 7: I'll just say bleep and stupid.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But they do.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Kamala Harris did the same thing when she was suddenly
- 8:15Speaker 7: thrust into the role of being the presidential nominee, even
- 8:18Speaker 7: though she won absolutely zero primary races, because they believe
- 8:23Speaker 7: in a version of authoritarianism that we actually don't believe
- 8:27Speaker 7: it on the right. The left believes in taking away
- 8:29Speaker 7: your ability to choose certain things. But nonetheless, as that happened,
- 8:34Speaker 7: all of a sudden, Kamala Harris was saying stuff that
- 8:36Speaker 7: her career demonstrated she didn't believe, and they just assume
- 8:40Speaker 7: you're a moron.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:41Speaker 7: Granted, Harris also said stuff that sounded like she got
- 8:44Speaker 7: lost in a logic circle that never ended, which Talarico
- 8:48Speaker 7: doesn't do as much. He's more eloquent in when he
- 8:50Speaker 7: lies to you and to me and to everybody. But
- 8:53Speaker 7: we should all know that we should all simply acknowledge
- 8:57Speaker 7: the constant amount of lying and the constant amount of
- 9:01Speaker 7: hypocrisy that is just spewing from the Tallarico campaign because
- 9:06Speaker 7: of how different it is than what he said, Well,
- 9:08Speaker 7: he's trying to be a politician in Austin because and
- 9:11Speaker 7: while living with his mom and then voting in places
- 9:13Speaker 7: that he shouldn't have voted in, or running in elections
- 9:16Speaker 7: he should have been running in all kinds of weird
- 9:17Speaker 7: things that he did that's not talked about enough.
- 9:21Speaker 1: But that's where we're at.
- 9:22Speaker 7: We're at a place right now where when you discuss
- 9:24Speaker 7: tall Rico, if you're a Texan that is somehow absorbing
- 9:30Speaker 7: and listening to the way the left is controlling the narrative.
- 9:34Speaker 7: You might walk around believing that he's been a moderate
- 9:37Speaker 7: for a long time, and you are woefully wrong about that,
- 9:40Speaker 7: and you shouldn't let your I'm not going to call
- 9:43Speaker 7: it stupidity. You shouldn't let your inability to focus more
- 9:48Speaker 7: and not you and me. I'm not necessarily talking to
- 9:50Speaker 7: this audience. It's a very savvy political radio audience that
- 9:53Speaker 7: we have at KCV Radio. But many of the people
- 9:56Speaker 7: out there who won't turn on this radio station or
- 9:58Speaker 7: who thumb through it and get mad at the things
- 10:00Speaker 7: they hear me and all the other hosts say, those
- 10:03Speaker 7: people are woefully ignorant. They're useful idiots, as they're often described,
- 10:07Speaker 7: because they believe a thing that they should have every
- 10:10Speaker 7: ability to disprove with just a few clicks.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Of a computer.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Another thing out there that I thought was interesting is
- 10:15Speaker 7: that there seem to be some reinforcements being sent Ken
- 10:20Speaker 7: Paxson's way. I don't know if it's going to be
- 10:22Speaker 7: money or just this, but Stephen Miller of the White
- 10:25Speaker 7: House said that you can see in taxas some pretty
- 10:30Speaker 7: significant differences between the two candidates running, and how many
- 10:33Speaker 7: people are just going to assume that one of those
- 10:36Speaker 7: two can't possibly win. This is not an individual here
- 10:40Speaker 7: in Texas saying this sort of thing. Of course, it's
- 10:42Speaker 7: the Deputy Chief of Staff and Policy of Homeland Security.
- 10:46Speaker 7: But the conversation is ongoing with everyone who's saying that
- 10:50Speaker 7: tall Ico is someone that you should know fully and
- 10:54Speaker 7: if you don't know fully. It's a little bit on
- 10:56Speaker 7: the Republicans and on Paxson to raise the money to
- 10:59Speaker 7: run the campaign and run all the messaging that gets
- 11:01Speaker 7: it out there, but it's also on you to be
- 11:03Speaker 7: able to figure that out for yourself.
- 11:06Speaker 9: In Texas, you have a candidate in tall Rico who
- 11:11Speaker 9: is against Christianity, he's against meat, he's against oil and gas,
- 11:17Speaker 9: and he's in fame men and women's sports. So that
- 11:20Speaker 9: has about a I think a one percent approval rating
- 11:23Speaker 9: in the state of Texas to talk about something deadly
- 11:27Speaker 9: serious but.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Here, I'll actually stap it right there.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Yeah, those are all believes that tall Rico has that
- 11:33Speaker 7: have that limited. I don't know if one percent is
- 11:36Speaker 7: right or scary. Whatever percentage of people in Austin might
- 11:39Speaker 7: push it to like two. But by and large, the
- 11:41Speaker 7: vast majority of Texans on both sides of the political aisle,
- 11:44Speaker 7: do not believe any of that stuff. But tall Rico
- 11:47Speaker 7: is very anti meat and anti oil and anti so
- 11:50Speaker 7: many things that he might have had to be anti
- 11:53Speaker 7: when he was running for political positions in Austin. And
- 11:57Speaker 7: I've said this before, and I really think this matter.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Whether you've heard me say it here or somewhere else,
- 12:03Speaker 7: is irrelevant. If someone proves to you that they were
- 12:07Speaker 7: willing to want run a radically left leaning, you know,
- 12:10Speaker 7: insane all the way in the fringe corners campaign when
- 12:14Speaker 7: running for one sort of political office in one place
- 12:17Speaker 7: like Harrison, California, or tall Rico in Austin. Then when
- 12:21Speaker 7: they pretend that they're actually in the middle, even if
- 12:24Speaker 7: you think that they're telling the truth now and they
- 12:26Speaker 7: just lied before, the main thing they've actually shown you
- 12:30Speaker 7: is that you can't trust anything they say. Like the
- 12:33Speaker 7: people who actually do pay attention and tell me that
- 12:35Speaker 7: now tall Rico only said those things because he wanted
- 12:39Speaker 7: to win that job at that time. He's more in
- 12:41Speaker 7: the middle than he claimed to be. Then I can't
- 12:45Speaker 7: understand how that's an excuse that makes you want to
- 12:47Speaker 7: vote for someone like I've never understood that when they
- 12:50Speaker 7: acknowledge the lying, they just try to flip it so
- 12:53Speaker 7: it's not current, it's past lying. Because any lying should matter,
- 12:58Speaker 7: any lying should be like, man, maybe we shouldn't actually
- 13:01Speaker 7: get this person in a position of power because they
- 13:03Speaker 7: seem to be someone who's full of crap all the time.
- 13:06Speaker 7: Here is taller Ico talking about the Save America Act
- 13:09Speaker 7: or the Save Act as it's called now, and how
- 13:12Speaker 7: he claims it prevents black people from voting in elections,
- 13:16Speaker 7: which is wildly debunked, including by black people themselves.
- 13:21Speaker 1: You know, I might actually shoot a video.
- 13:23Speaker 7: I feel like I should do this, or just go
- 13:25Speaker 7: into certain communities in Houston and ask people in the
- 13:28Speaker 7: middle of the day if they have a driver's license.
- 13:31Speaker 7: And I'll try to ask a bunch of black people
- 13:33Speaker 7: if they have a driver's license and if they think
- 13:36Speaker 7: having or not having one is an important product or
- 13:39Speaker 7: an important aspect of having a discussion about, you know,
- 13:42Speaker 7: who you vote for within the election. I don't even
- 13:44Speaker 7: care who they actually support. I just want them to
- 13:47Speaker 7: all out the lie that is that people of a
- 13:50Speaker 7: certain race would be prevented from voting because of the
- 13:53Speaker 7: requirement of a photo ID. It's actually inherently racist of
- 13:56Speaker 7: a statement, but here's tall Rico making it.
- 14:00Speaker 5: As human beings have the right to shape our own destinies,
- 14:03Speaker 5: and we do that through the vote, and so many
- 14:06Speaker 5: brave Americans, so many brave Black Americans, have fought and
- 14:09Speaker 5: died for that right. And so for politicians in Austin
- 14:13Speaker 5: or in Washington, as they're now doing with this Save Act,
- 14:16Speaker 5: they are trying to rob our neighbors', particularly our black WIBs,
- 14:20Speaker 5: of those God given rights. So I have a track work.
- 14:23Speaker 7: How my first reaction if I were actually doing the interview,
- 14:27Speaker 7: as Tallaryico says, that is how you're saying out loud
- 14:30Speaker 7: that you think that people cannot obtain a driver's license
- 14:34Speaker 7: because there are a certain race. If that were true,
- 14:37Speaker 7: which it's not. Of course, if it were, it would
- 14:40Speaker 7: be a story itself. I've often talked about this that
- 14:44Speaker 7: if say, a black person who's a US citizen showed
- 14:48Speaker 7: up to get a driver's license anywhere in Texas and
- 14:50Speaker 7: was rejected and they're like, but no, I deserve this,
- 14:54Speaker 7: and they were said no to, that would be a
- 14:56Speaker 7: story all over mainstream media because of how much mainstream
- 15:00Speaker 7: media looks to talk about that stuff. Actually, I'm not
- 15:03Speaker 7: going to force him to jump in on this topic,
- 15:05Speaker 7: but one thing producer Phil has said to me off
- 15:07Speaker 7: the air before is and I forget exactly how he
- 15:09Speaker 7: phrased it. People talk a lot more about race in
- 15:12Speaker 7: the United States than they do in the Bahamas. It's
- 15:15Speaker 7: just not a discussion that comes up as much there,
- 15:18Speaker 7: and it comes up a lot here, and all of
- 15:19Speaker 7: it's because of emotional manipulation. To me, I don't know
- 15:22Speaker 7: if you want to jump in on this or if
- 15:23Speaker 7: you just want to plead the fifth, but I think
- 15:24Speaker 7: it's interesting. Oh, you got a phone call. You got
- 15:26Speaker 7: to take a phone call, producer. Phil's got to answer
- 15:28Speaker 7: the phone. I just think it's so interesting that he's
- 15:31Speaker 7: right about that, that there's a lot of discussions where
- 15:34Speaker 7: race does not need to at all be a factor
- 15:37Speaker 7: or a portion of an argument on the right or
- 15:41Speaker 7: the left. Like you don't need to say I'm fighting
- 15:43Speaker 7: this fight because of prevention of racism or this sort
- 15:47Speaker 7: of thing. If it's wildly not true, and they do it,
- 15:51Speaker 7: they do it anyway because they think it helps them
- 15:53Speaker 7: win in whatever election. We got barked in spring calling
- 15:56Speaker 7: in I'll throw a Bart in the air.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Ready, Bart, what do you want to say?
- 15:59Speaker 10: Hey, Greg, I'm going to say Phil having the comment
- 16:01Speaker 10: on the voting requirement for photo ID. Sure they made
- 16:04Speaker 10: those same claims back when they first passed that back
- 16:07Speaker 10: in twenty sixteen. I know that it'd be voter suppression.
- 16:12Speaker 10: Every year since twenty sixteen, the number of votes have
- 16:15Speaker 10: gone up in Texas. I know they can easily refute
- 16:18Speaker 10: this argument if they just point to the facts.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Well, you know what's also interesting about that, Bart Georgia
- 16:23Speaker 7: is a really good example of this. When Georgia changed
- 16:25Speaker 7: some of its rules, a lot of Democrats were saying
- 16:27Speaker 7: it was Jim Crow two point zero, and then the
- 16:30Speaker 7: very next election, black people voted in a larger number
- 16:34Speaker 7: than had ever voted before in the state, and Jim
- 16:37Speaker 7: Crow didn't really allow for that. It didn't cause exactly
- 16:39Speaker 7: go ahead, I don't know what else you want to say.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Well, no, they I mean, they tried to put Stacy
- 16:44Speaker 10: Abrams in there, trying to get the boost to vote
- 16:47Speaker 10: up there. Now they're having the ex mayor of Atlanta
- 16:49Speaker 10: that ran away because they couldn't control Atlanta run. Now, yes,
- 16:53Speaker 10: I'm like, these are facts that they need to point out,
- 16:56Speaker 10: But like Paxton, they need to push these facts or
- 16:59Speaker 10: not public I mean, and that's the only reason race
- 17:02Speaker 10: is close.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Amen. You know, I totally agree with you.
- 17:04Speaker 7: I think that the need for Paxton to raise more money,
- 17:08Speaker 7: however that's done, if it's through pockets of people here
- 17:11Speaker 7: in Texas or the Republican machine, gives them a little
- 17:14Speaker 7: bit more cache that I know that they have that.
- 17:16Speaker 7: I know that President Trump and others have You need
- 17:19Speaker 7: an informed electorate to make a decision. And there's so
- 17:22Speaker 7: many things that Tallarico has said very very recently that
- 17:27Speaker 7: seem to be things that most Texans would be like, no,
- 17:29Speaker 7: I can't, I can't back that.
- 17:31Speaker 10: And recently is a key thing because right now it
- 17:33Speaker 10: seems like every time they have somebody at dsa candidate
- 17:36Speaker 10: says we need to get rid of Thanksgiving or we
- 17:39Speaker 10: deserve nine to eleven, they say, oh, that was a
- 17:41Speaker 10: long time ago. They've apologized for.
- 17:43Speaker 7: That, right, Yeah, thank you so much for the call.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Bart in Spring, He's right about that. That's so often
- 17:49Speaker 7: where you hear people say that, oh, that opinion has
- 17:53Speaker 7: changed so much. Even the crazy lady in Wisconsin who
- 17:57Speaker 7: lost and thankfully is not going to wind up being
- 17:59Speaker 7: any more of a political name. Hang, she was saying
- 18:04Speaker 7: that tech that excuse me that Thanksgiving was her favorite
- 18:07Speaker 7: holiday after saying just a few months earlier than that
- 18:11Speaker 7: that it should be canceled, and it was horrible. And
- 18:13Speaker 7: so this shows you how full of crap they are
- 18:16Speaker 7: all the time on so many things. I think that's
- 18:18Speaker 7: been one of the biggest complaints from the left of
- 18:22Speaker 7: the left is that they often lie to your face
- 18:25Speaker 7: and promise you things that they never deliver on. And
- 18:28Speaker 7: yet when you talk about insanity doing the same thing
- 18:31Speaker 7: over and over again, you see a bunch of people
- 18:33Speaker 7: just vote for that side because like, ah, this time
- 18:35Speaker 7: it'll be different. This guy seems good. The things he
- 18:38Speaker 7: says seem like they're going to be true, even when
- 18:41Speaker 7: they're blatant. Live all right, some other things out there
- 18:43Speaker 7: that I do want to play before we take our
- 18:44Speaker 7: first break.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I have a couple of national things that I'd like
- 18:47Speaker 1: to discuss first.
- 18:49Speaker 7: There were two moments in a press conference with President
- 18:52Speaker 7: Trump that I thought were really interesting, the first one
- 18:55Speaker 7: being a question about the strait of hormones and what
- 18:58Speaker 7: President Trump says he should do with it. It's something
- 19:00Speaker 7: I think that President Trump should do with it, and
- 19:02Speaker 7: I think America should do. So I agree with him
- 19:05Speaker 7: on the stance of this. I know that the veteran
- 19:08Speaker 7: I had on this past Friday for my Veteran Voices
- 19:11Speaker 7: segment told me that this is impossible, and he had
- 19:14Speaker 7: actually served in the military in and gone into the
- 19:19Speaker 7: strait of our moves at a time when you know,
- 19:21Speaker 7: contention was actually happening. But here, I want to play
- 19:23Speaker 7: this with President Trump a little bit.
- 19:24Speaker 1: First. That's what you said that.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It would soon declare the Straight Up fore News to
- 19:28Speaker 3: be a territory of the United States.
- 19:29Speaker 11: Could you elaborate, Well, I just think it's a great idea. Yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 11: I mean, we control it. We control it with the blockade.
- 19:35Speaker 11: We have a blockade. We control it with the blockade.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And I like the ideas me too.
- 19:42Speaker 11: We have total control over the street. Now they can
- 19:45Speaker 11: be a nuisance, they can put a mine in the water,
- 19:47Speaker 11: and people don't like having mindset. There have million dollarships,
- 19:50Speaker 11: you know, et cetera. But the blockade has been very
- 19:53Speaker 11: effective and you know we're taking out and now maybe
- 19:56Speaker 11: that will stop or maybe it'll open up even further.
- 19:59Speaker 11: But we're taking out millions of barrels of oil a week.
- 20:03Speaker 11: If you look at the kind of numbers that we're doing.
- 20:05Speaker 11: We're doing. The strait is open, and the up prices
- 20:09Speaker 11: are coming down and they will continue to come down.
- 20:11Speaker 7: And that's going to be a huge, huge hold sorry,
- 20:13Speaker 7: mister president, that's gonna be a huge, huge part of
- 20:16Speaker 7: how people actually vote in November if oil prices continue
- 20:19Speaker 7: to go down. Let's get to Jimmy X. Who's on
- 20:21Speaker 7: the phone. Jimmy, what do you want to say?
- 20:24Speaker 12: Hey? Brother Craig, good show.
- 20:27Speaker 10: Hey, how you do you?
- 20:28Speaker 12: And you and Chris back to back. Man, you're giving
- 20:31Speaker 12: voice to freedom.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Oh, thank you.
- 20:33Speaker 12: And if if the facts aren't being known, it's not
- 20:37Speaker 12: because you two aren't trying.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 20:41Speaker 7: This is Jimmy to the second Power. By the way
- 20:43Speaker 7: I said, Jimmy, I saw on the screen.
- 20:44Speaker 12: Go ahead continue, Yes, this is the second Power. Yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 12: me and the OG we had a discussion a couple
- 20:51Speaker 12: of weeks ago, and I want to address that. First.
- 20:53Speaker 12: Evidently he didn't hear all I said because he disagreed.
- 20:57Speaker 12: But when what I said was that we agree with
- 21:01Speaker 12: them as much as we can until it crosses principles
- 21:04Speaker 12: to which we cannot stand by.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, I know what you're referencing.
- 21:11Speaker 4: You.
- 21:11Speaker 12: I think he missed that. But anyway, he is he
- 21:14Speaker 12: is my buddy and he has a great guy and
- 21:19Speaker 12: that part but cool, you know, it's.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Actually really funny.
- 21:23Speaker 7: Jimmy X to the second power. I just want you
- 21:25Speaker 7: to know Jimmy X is on the line to go next.
- 21:27Speaker 7: So whatever you say, I'm gonna get to hear from
- 21:29Speaker 7: Jimmy X again too. I just noticed that he just
- 21:31Speaker 7: got put on hold of excellent.
- 21:32Speaker 12: Excellent. Well, I'll tell you what. He's a veteran's why.
- 21:37Speaker 12: He's a philanthropic businessman that contributes a lot to the community. Yes,
- 21:43Speaker 12: and I have a lot of respect for him, So
- 21:46Speaker 12: I just wanted to clear it up as I think
- 21:48Speaker 12: he missed part of what I was saying. But even
- 21:52Speaker 12: if he didn't, we're still brothers of conservatives.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Sure.
- 21:58Speaker 7: Well yeah, and I think to explain to the audience
- 22:00Speaker 7: because they don't know. Some audience members don't know what
- 22:03Speaker 7: you're talking about. You had called in and we had
- 22:04Speaker 7: had a conversation about some of what faith compels you
- 22:08Speaker 7: to do, some of how faith asks you to behave
- 22:10Speaker 7: in certain scenarios, including scenarios in which you are more
- 22:14Speaker 7: respectful than you should be. Politics doesn't seem to really
- 22:17Speaker 7: allow for that. There are times where in political worlds
- 22:21Speaker 7: and what you're saying is you have a line that
- 22:24Speaker 7: when somebody crosses it, there's no more mister nice guy.
- 22:28Speaker 7: There's a whole bunch of calling it what it is,
- 22:30Speaker 7: which I know Jimmy X would do and I would do,
- 22:32Speaker 7: which is like, well, that's communism, that's this.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's that.
- 22:36Speaker 7: So there's a push pull to I think that in
- 22:38Speaker 7: all of our hearts with when we want to be
- 22:41Speaker 7: respectful to others and when we know we can't for
- 22:44Speaker 7: the sake of everyone else that might be listening to
- 22:46Speaker 7: a conversation.
- 22:48Speaker 12: Well, this past week, for instance, in tall Rico, a
- 22:52Speaker 12: pastor in I think humble y, full throated endorsed him
- 22:57Speaker 12: from the pull pit.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah, And.
- 23:01Speaker 12: I don't know how a pastor can support a person
- 23:07Speaker 12: that's that is in favor of slaughtering a child up
- 23:12Speaker 12: until the ninth month of their birth. That is a
- 23:17Speaker 12: democrat and you you can't find that because someone thirty
- 23:22Speaker 12: nine clearly says that that is a valuable treasure that
- 23:27Speaker 12: was recorded before it was born. Yes, And in regard
- 23:32Speaker 12: to Tallerco, you know he's got his grandpap on TV
- 23:35Speaker 12: as a Baptist minister. He is so far from the
- 23:38Speaker 12: Baptist faith. And I'm not Baptist, but I have a
- 23:41Speaker 12: lot of friends that are. He is so far from
- 23:43Speaker 12: the Baptist faith. I can't believe that the Baptist allowed
- 23:47Speaker 12: him to use the name in a commercial. Sure, but
- 23:52Speaker 12: that's America. Yeah, but they are shape shifters. They will
- 23:56Speaker 12: say whatever it takes, and I will just go back
- 23:59Speaker 12: to the The whole reason that we have the fall
- 24:02Speaker 12: in society that we have is because it was so
- 24:07Speaker 12: close to the truth in the garden. Just a couple
- 24:10Speaker 12: of words were different, but it tricked a woman and
- 24:15Speaker 12: a man, and they've made a decision that forever changed
- 24:20Speaker 12: the world. We are at a point to where, unless
- 24:23Speaker 12: people are smart, the truth is so close to the
- 24:27Speaker 12: fiction that's being sold that unless you really pay attention,
- 24:32Speaker 12: you will make a decision that can ruin our nation.
- 24:36Speaker 12: So I pray that you don't do that. Now, Ken
- 24:39Speaker 12: Paxton and Ted Cruz are going to be in Houston.
- 24:42Speaker 12: They are in a conference by the Republicans and that's
- 24:47Speaker 12: coming up, so people be looking for it. And all
- 24:50Speaker 12: I wanted to do is to be more energized when
- 24:53Speaker 12: he does do an interview, You've got to be energetic.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Amen. Thank you very much for the call. Jimmy X
- 24:59Speaker 1: the Second.
- 25:00Speaker 7: I absolutely agree with you on what you said about
- 25:02Speaker 7: needing more energy within this political party. I just found
- 25:05Speaker 7: out that my cousin Vinnie, who does a show on
- 25:08Speaker 7: this radio station, Vince colin As, will be in Dallas
- 25:11Speaker 7: for the big giant mid term convention that's going to
- 25:15Speaker 7: be happening. I'm gonna have to weasel some way for
- 25:17Speaker 7: KSSYVT also put me in Dallas so I can hang
- 25:19Speaker 7: out with the couz and also be around people that
- 25:22Speaker 7: are going to be pretty important.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Let's get to Jimmy X. Jimmy X is on hold, Jimmy,
- 25:26Speaker 1: what do you want to say, Bud.
- 25:29Speaker 4: My cousin Vinnie two?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yeah it is. It's the two youths. Man, Go find
- 25:35Speaker 1: those two youths. All right, what do you want to say?
- 25:39Speaker 4: Well, I just want to stay to my brother in arms,
- 25:42Speaker 4: Jimmy X to the second power. Yes, God bless you, brother.
- 25:46Speaker 4: I do remember a couple of weeks ago, no harm,
- 25:49Speaker 4: no foul. I'm his point. I probably didn't hear the
- 25:54Speaker 4: whole comment. I've been married thirty five years. It's not
- 25:57Speaker 4: the first time I've heard those words.
- 26:01Speaker 7: I heard them today via text from my wife that
- 26:05Speaker 7: I didn't understand something she told me was happening tonight.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I love that, man.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Yeah, oh I got that earlier too. Man about that.
- 26:12Speaker 12: That's funny, but.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Uh but quick funny. I called in, you know, not
- 26:18Speaker 4: my first call, no produce of Phil answers. I'm like, hey, man,
- 26:23Speaker 4: how you doing? You know? Ba ba bun. He's like,
- 26:27Speaker 4: what's your name again, dude? Jimmy Oh? And I said,
- 26:35Speaker 4: I know, And he mentions that Jimmy X is the
- 26:37Speaker 4: second power. Just called Dan. Yes, and I said, I know,
- 26:40Speaker 4: I know, all white guy's down the wife right, and uh.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I see Phil laughing in studio right now.
- 26:48Speaker 12: I love he is.
- 26:49Speaker 1: He loves it.
- 26:50Speaker 7: Phil is a black guy for anybody that doesn't know.
- 26:52Speaker 7: Jimmy X obviously does know. And Phil thinks that's pretty funny.
- 26:56Speaker 7: But yeah, you're you're the most regular caller that this
- 26:59Speaker 7: show has. So but he only works twice a week.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Man. To Fhill's defense, he only gets to be here
- 27:04Speaker 1: Monday and Tuesday.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I know, man, I know it's all good man.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 27:11Speaker 4: But the reason I called Dan is I may have
- 27:15Speaker 4: heard this on another show earlier than you about a
- 27:19Speaker 4: million times, but it's the lying liars line, and that's
- 27:25Speaker 4: where we're rough against.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Yes we are, we are, and it's it's amazing here, Jimmy.
- 27:30Speaker 7: I want to say this though, because this does frustrate me.
- 27:33Speaker 7: And I know you're a guy that's put paid attention
- 27:34Speaker 7: to politics for a long time. There are times when
- 27:38Speaker 7: there are people that I know, Brian Noonan is an
- 27:40Speaker 7: example of that, that I think are intelligent, and then
- 27:43Speaker 7: they say something that's so disproven and so stupid that
- 27:48Speaker 7: you just look at them and you think yourself, You're like,
- 27:50Speaker 7: how can you still think that?
- 27:51Speaker 1: How can you still believe that?
- 27:52Speaker 7: How have you not seen any of the information that
- 27:55Speaker 7: disproves the thing you just said, or in the case
- 27:58Speaker 7: of Tallarico, shows how much much of a liar he
- 28:00Speaker 7: is who lies, and how much of a hypocrite he
- 28:03Speaker 7: is from the stuff he said before. Like, we think
- 28:05Speaker 7: we're doing a good job on some of this messaging,
- 28:08Speaker 7: and then it occasionally has demonstrated to us, to me
- 28:11Speaker 7: that we're not that somehow people on the other side
- 28:14Speaker 7: still have put their fingers in their ears long enough
- 28:17Speaker 7: to not hear.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Any of this.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Well, most of us empower critical analytical thinking. We always question,
- 28:28Speaker 4: we always do our research. And on their side, they're
- 28:33Speaker 4: just very gullible. Okay. They believe things like, oh, we're
- 28:38Speaker 4: gonna put a billionaire's tax and it's gonna make your
- 28:42Speaker 4: life better, right, Oh, we're we're going to reduce carbon emission. Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 4: that's crazy, and they're gullible.
- 28:50Speaker 7: Well yeah, And honestly, the Democratic Socialists say they're even
- 28:53Speaker 7: going to take people's properties away, that they don't want
- 28:55Speaker 7: private property to be a thing anymore.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That's beyond stupid.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Continue, No, it's there, but people believe it, and their
- 29:04Speaker 4: side buys it, and they're getting votes. And we've got
- 29:08Speaker 4: to be careful because look, Craig, professor, if the state falls,
- 29:17Speaker 4: it is going to embolden them and they are going
- 29:20Speaker 4: to go into warped seed moving this country to communism. Okay, yes,
- 29:27Speaker 4: and it's not going to be pretty. In the history
- 29:31Speaker 4: of the world, there is no example where a nation
- 29:34Speaker 4: went from freedom loving people to communism without a very
- 29:39Speaker 4: bloody armed conflict.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And then a lot of harribleness the entire time they
- 29:44Speaker 1: stay communist.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Continue, that's exactly it. You don't overturn it, man, Okay.
- 29:51Speaker 4: And and and we've got to be careful here. Many
- 29:56Speaker 4: James Calrico is a communist, okay.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Is a commits the well.
- 30:07Speaker 7: And let's talk about Gina for just a quick second,
- 30:10Speaker 7: because I think this is a good thing to get
- 30:12Speaker 7: your response on. I heard even from my wife the
- 30:14Speaker 7: other day that she found out that Gina's offering to
- 30:17Speaker 7: give every text and money and she wanted to ask
- 30:20Speaker 7: me about that. She's like, we have a surplus, and
- 30:22Speaker 7: Gina said, she's going to give people money. What do
- 30:24Speaker 7: you think of that? And my wife is is lovely
- 30:26Speaker 7: in the sense that she'll ask me questions, I'll tell
- 30:28Speaker 7: her stuff and she'll she'll just believe me every time
- 30:31Speaker 7: that we have a discussion about something. I like that
- 30:34Speaker 7: she trusts my opinion of it. Not only is that
- 30:36Speaker 7: ridiculously never going to happen. Not Gina would not have
- 30:39Speaker 7: the ability to just cut checks every text in.
- 30:42Speaker 1: But that would be a horrible idea.
- 30:44Speaker 7: If that's how we use the surplus that we have
- 30:46Speaker 7: in this state, we would start getting closer and closer
- 30:48Speaker 7: to becoming the Illinois of the world that have massive
- 30:51Speaker 7: amounts of debt if you just start sending money out.
- 30:54Speaker 7: But it's just such an interesting thing because she's mentioned
- 30:57Speaker 7: that as part of the promises of her campaign that
- 31:00Speaker 7: if she gets elected, she's essentially buying your vote by
- 31:03Speaker 7: promising to send everybody a check.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Clause. Dude, that's what the.
- 31:11Speaker 1: True. Yeah it is. Well, thank you man for the calls.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Stop free dad. There is no such thing as a
- 31:18Speaker 4: free lunch, remember that.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Amen, Thank you for the call, Bud alright brother bye. Uh.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You know it's funny with Jimmy X.
- 31:27Speaker 7: As I had somebody ask me if I should rename
- 31:30Speaker 7: the show The Professor on KCV, because that's the nickname
- 31:35Speaker 7: that Jimmy X gave me. I think very quickly to
- 31:37Speaker 7: when I was first on this radio station, and I
- 31:40Speaker 7: don't feel that I live up to that Jimmy X.
- 31:43Speaker 7: I'll tell you that if somebody asks me, do you
- 31:45Speaker 7: want to rename the show? Because there were there were
- 31:46Speaker 7: a couple other names when I started back in March
- 31:49Speaker 7: to do this six to seven o'clock maga. Craig, which
- 31:52Speaker 7: Chris X and others called me, was one idea, and
- 31:55Speaker 7: then the Professor was the other one.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I just I don't feel that I deserve the monica.
- 32:00Speaker 7: I just go by Craig Collins because you know, you
- 32:03Speaker 7: can decide who I am and what I am and
- 32:05Speaker 7: what I say, what I think.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I know that got a little.
- 32:08Speaker 7: Confusing there, but you can be the decision maker on
- 32:11Speaker 7: your own. I don't like giving myself a nickname, although
- 32:14Speaker 7: Jimmy did give it to me, but I should tell
- 32:15Speaker 7: him that that it was an idea that was discussed
- 32:18Speaker 7: and I didn't say full on no to it.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I just said I didn't really think I deserved it.
- 32:22Speaker 7: But we got to take our first break late again,
- 32:25Speaker 7: as always as we do here on the show, when
- 32:27Speaker 7: we get a bunch of calls early on, I thank
- 32:29Speaker 7: it everybody that chimed in. Jimmy, Jimmy X to the
- 32:31Speaker 7: second Power and Bart, I will take a quick break.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I have one more trump piece.
- 32:35Speaker 7: Of audio I want to play because it went very
- 32:37Speaker 7: viral and he crapped all over CNN and they absolutely
- 32:41Speaker 7: deserved it. So that more coming up in a bit.
- 32:43Speaker 7: This is the Craig Collins Show KSV, the Voice.
- 32:46Speaker 13: Of Texas Officers located one Sugar Creek Center, sugar Land, Texas.
- 32:51Speaker 6: Thinking of buying a home, it's important to start off
- 32:54Speaker 6: with a solid pre approval. Hi, I'm Kathy Baker from

- 35:48Speaker 7: This is the Craig Collins Show KSV, the Voice of Taxes,
- 35:52Speaker 7: Thrilled to be with you as I always say, a
- 35:54Speaker 7: whole crap ton of stuff to talk about, and yet
- 35:56Speaker 7: this viral moment from earlier today of President Trump cramping
- 36:00Speaker 7: all over CNN is probably one of the more talked
- 36:03Speaker 7: about things on social media because he hates the fact
- 36:07Speaker 7: that they're a bullies and crappy people and definitely people
- 36:12Speaker 7: who deal a whole lot in fake news. Here he
- 36:15Speaker 7: is confronting them for about twenty seconds on it.
- 36:19Speaker 11: Quiet, you're very disrespectful in front of this young man.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Shut up, he understands.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Quiet. Who you're with?
- 36:30Speaker 11: Fake news?
- 36:31Speaker 1: You're fake news.
- 36:33Speaker 10: You're loud.
- 36:34Speaker 11: You're a loud, boisterous person your fake news. Be quiet,
- 36:37Speaker 11: Be quiet, be quiet?
- 36:40Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 36:41Speaker 11: You're a fake reporter and you report fake news.
- 36:44Speaker 9: Go ahead.
- 36:45Speaker 7: No one's asking you a question right now, No one's
- 36:47Speaker 7: allowing you to speak. Why are you talking some more
- 36:50Speaker 7: and yelling stuff from the corner of the room that
- 36:52Speaker 7: you're yelling it from. Trump does this a lot, But
- 36:55Speaker 7: this is the latest version of go viral, and I
- 36:58Speaker 7: do think it's hilarious.
- 36:59Speaker 1: You know what, zactually really funny about this? Though.
- 37:02Speaker 7: If there's one observation I'll make that demonstrates that the
- 37:06Speaker 7: left might get mad but that they're obviously full of
- 37:08Speaker 7: crap about it. Is that Biden, when he was at
- 37:11Speaker 7: all lucid, which was almost never, would do this occasionally
- 37:14Speaker 7: to the Fox News reporter because and this was the
- 37:17Speaker 7: funniest part about a Biden press conference when he was
- 37:20Speaker 7: in office, is he would be given a sheet of
- 37:23Speaker 7: people to call on because his brain didn't work well
- 37:26Speaker 7: enough to recognize people anymore, so he'd look down, he'd
- 37:29Speaker 7: say a name, and then he'd look up and wait
- 37:31Speaker 7: for sounds to start happening, and he actually usually i think,
- 37:35Speaker 7: had the question and what his answer was supposed to be,
- 37:38Speaker 7: because there were times where they actually got a photo
- 37:40Speaker 7: of it and you could see like the crib notes
- 37:42Speaker 7: version of the thing that Biden had. But what was
- 37:45Speaker 7: amusing to me was occasionally when he'd still make a mistake,
- 37:48Speaker 7: it was like he'd look down, maybe his brain was
- 37:50Speaker 7: functioning so poorly he couldn't even read, and then he'd
- 37:53Speaker 7: look up and he'd point at somebody and it would
- 37:55Speaker 7: be Fox News and they'd ask him a hard question
- 37:58Speaker 7: and he'd tell him to shut up because he'd it too.
- 38:01Speaker 1: And he's not the only one.
- 38:02Speaker 7: They're not the only two politicians that have ever treated
- 38:05Speaker 7: the opposing side of media poorly or in this case,
- 38:09Speaker 7: I think, just honestly, and of course only one gets
- 38:13Speaker 7: criticized for it.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Trump is the only person I.
- 38:15Speaker 7: Think it's actually I've said this, and I'll say this too,
- 38:18Speaker 7: and then we'll move on to a different topic. I
- 38:21Speaker 7: am convinced, and I don't think anybody could do anything
- 38:26Speaker 7: that would convince me otherwise of this simple belief I have.
- 38:29Speaker 7: But I am convinced that if it's a democrat in
- 38:31Speaker 7: power going after Iran, that mainstream media would be praising
- 38:35Speaker 7: it as a humanitarian effort to save a country from
- 38:39Speaker 7: an authoritarian ruler or you know, administration, a controlling arm
- 38:46Speaker 7: of that country that is causing widespread horrors to exist
- 38:50Speaker 7: in Iran, because that is a real thing, and President
- 38:53Speaker 7: Trump has talked about it. He's mentioned that he is
- 38:55Speaker 7: trying to stop them from killing innocent civilians who do
- 38:59Speaker 7: simple things like and so I am utterly convinced that
- 39:03Speaker 7: if it were a democrat that had the you know
- 39:05Speaker 7: what's to do this, that the way that they were
- 39:07Speaker 7: talking about Iran would be talking about Iran would be
- 39:10Speaker 7: profoundly different, and constant praise and demanding the American people
- 39:15Speaker 7: to accept higher gas prices as we continue this historic fight,
- 39:18Speaker 7: this thing that's happening that no one had the you
- 39:22Speaker 7: know what's again to do until this person got into office.
- 39:26Speaker 7: The only problem they have with that narrative is that
- 39:28Speaker 7: it's Trump who did it, and so they hate that.
- 39:30Speaker 7: Before I play any more, audio of some other stories
- 39:34Speaker 7: out there that I think are interesting on maybe a
- 39:36Speaker 7: national level, and a Hassan Piker thing, and I have
- 39:39Speaker 7: not talked much about Hassan Piker, the incredibly insane person
- 39:43Speaker 7: that seems to be leading some of the discussion on
- 39:46Speaker 7: the left, just an absolutely radical piece of crap for
- 39:49Speaker 7: a variety of reasons. Before I do that, I do
- 39:51Speaker 7: want to mention a story that's making the rounds a
- 39:53Speaker 7: lot of places about Ken Paxton. He has sent warnings
- 39:57Speaker 7: to one hundred and ten Texas cities and told them
- 40:01Speaker 7: that they cannot raise property taxes above state limits or
- 40:04Speaker 7: he will fight them every time we have any form
- 40:09Speaker 7: of a discussion about who should be the next senator
- 40:12Speaker 7: in this state, whether it's Talafrico, Tala, whatever you want
- 40:15Speaker 7: to call him, wacko and Ken Paxton. One of the
- 40:18Speaker 7: things that no one can take away from Paxton. If
- 40:21Speaker 7: you want to say that he is baggage and there's
- 40:23Speaker 7: reasons that certain conservatives might not vote for him, fine,
- 40:26Speaker 7: go ahead, do what you want there.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I don't think it's true.
- 40:29Speaker 7: I don't think any real conservative could vote for tall
- 40:32Speaker 7: Rico over Paxton, or literally any conservative over tall Rico. Like,
- 40:38Speaker 7: if you would vote for Tall Rico, you can't possibly
- 40:40Speaker 7: call yourself a conservative at all.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I just don't think that's possible.
- 40:45Speaker 7: But nonetheless, the thing that no one can take away
- 40:47Speaker 7: from Paxton is how incredibly effective he's been as the
- 40:50Speaker 7: attorney general. He's someone who's won a tremendous amount of fights,
- 40:55Speaker 7: fights against insane ideas of the left, certain administrations, whether
- 41:00Speaker 7: that's Biden, Obama, whoever it might be. He's done an
- 41:03Speaker 7: incredibly good job of winning in places where other people
- 41:07Speaker 7: don't and where other states don't. Most other states, in
- 41:10Speaker 7: fact don't, maybe Florida the only exception where they've done
- 41:14Speaker 7: about as well but probably not quite as well as
- 41:17Speaker 7: Paxon has done in fighting those fights. And this is
- 41:19Speaker 7: another example of that. So many places in Texas right now,
- 41:23Speaker 7: so many people are talking about the property taxes, talking
- 41:27Speaker 7: about how horrible they are how if you look at
- 41:29Speaker 7: certain stats. Even though Texas does quite well in the
- 41:33Speaker 7: fact that we don't have a state income tax, the
- 41:37Speaker 7: property taxes out weigh that in a lot of places.
- 41:39Speaker 7: In Houston, for example, one of the worst places in
- 41:42Speaker 7: the country as far as property taxes are concerned. And
- 41:45Speaker 7: that doesn't even factor in the smaller taxes that punch
- 41:48Speaker 7: you even more in the face when you look at
- 41:50Speaker 7: like county level and whatnot. But property taxes are horrible.
- 41:54Speaker 7: Senator Bettancourt has fought them for a long time. And
- 41:57Speaker 7: actually Senator Bettancourt is also in the news, and I
- 41:59Speaker 7: can talk about that in a little bit. But I
- 42:02Speaker 7: just think this is a really intelligent move for Paxton
- 42:05Speaker 7: to make because it's protecting the rights of Texans to
- 42:09Speaker 7: not pay insane amounts more. We're already upset about the
- 42:13Speaker 7: property taxes we do pay, and there's about one hundred
- 42:16Speaker 7: cities that would like that to get even worse for
- 42:18Speaker 7: you and me, and Paxton's warning them they can't go
- 42:21Speaker 7: over any sort of state limit because they'll be very
- 42:24Speaker 7: much in trouble for that.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And you know what, here, I'll just talk about the
- 42:27Speaker 1: other thing very quickly.
- 42:29Speaker 7: The Houston Chronicle and several other places are talking about
- 42:32Speaker 7: something that a Senator Bettancourt has been blowing the whistle
- 42:36Speaker 7: on for a while, talking about certain election issues that
- 42:41Speaker 7: might exist here in Texas. Ken Paxson actually also talked
- 42:44Speaker 7: about how there are probably people and I think they
- 42:46Speaker 7: can even prove there are some people that are not
- 42:49Speaker 7: legally in the state that are voting even in this
- 42:51Speaker 7: state without the right to do so, and they're going
- 42:53Speaker 7: to get in trouble, and I think some examples were given.
- 42:56Speaker 7: One of the things I loved about Senator Bettancourt's kind
- 42:59Speaker 7: of a approach to this topic and the things he's
- 43:01Speaker 7: done to raise awareness is talking about the people that
- 43:04Speaker 7: have po boxes as addresses who try to vote because
- 43:08Speaker 7: you can't possibly live at a peo box like That's
- 43:10Speaker 7: the laziest version of trying to say I'm a Texan,
- 43:14Speaker 7: I'm a real citizen that deserves the right.
- 43:17Speaker 1: To vote, and I live inside a PO box like that.
- 43:20Speaker 1: That's not even trying.
- 43:22Speaker 7: That's not even taller eco pretending that he lives with
- 43:24Speaker 7: his mom when he doesn't live there anymore, so that
- 43:26Speaker 7: he could do certain things politically that he shouldn't have done.
- 43:29Speaker 7: This is even worse and Senator Bettencourt has been at
- 43:32Speaker 7: the forefront of forefront of fighting it for a while,
- 43:35Speaker 7: and the Houston Chronicle even admitted that I don't know
- 43:38Speaker 7: if they like it, because the Houston Chronicle is certainly
- 43:40Speaker 7: a leftist publication, but they had to that when you
- 43:43Speaker 7: talk about potential audits happening as far as voters here
- 43:48Speaker 7: in Houston are concerned, and also what Paxson is now
- 43:51Speaker 7: talking about is as far as the potential for at
- 43:53Speaker 7: least some people out to vote without the ability to
- 43:56Speaker 7: do so here in this state because certain cities and
- 43:59Speaker 7: places are trying to allow that to happen. All of
- 44:02Speaker 7: those things matter, All those things deserve to be talked
- 44:05Speaker 7: about and deserve to.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Be highlighted more.
- 44:07Speaker 7: And it's nice when they become something that mainstream media
- 44:10Speaker 7: and left leaning media can't ignore, which did happen just
- 44:13Speaker 7: a few days ago. It's in the Chronicle, I think
- 44:15Speaker 7: is of late last week, and you can see it
- 44:18Speaker 7: that Senator Bettencourt has name dropped a couple times because
- 44:22Speaker 7: you know, actually, this is the best way to say it.
- 44:26Speaker 7: There are people who are paying attention and who are
- 44:28Speaker 7: fighting the good fight, and in the case of the
- 44:30Speaker 7: Senator he's someone who's doing this on a lot of
- 44:32Speaker 7: these topics that matter to you. And then there's a
- 44:35Speaker 7: lot of people who aren't paying attention who don't know that.
- 44:37Speaker 1: This is happening.
- 44:38Speaker 7: We have people that will call into the radio station
- 44:40Speaker 7: occasionally and say something and it's like, well, no, that's
- 44:43Speaker 7: not true. They are fighting that someone is trying to
- 44:46Speaker 7: prevent that from happening, whether they're winning or losing because
- 44:50Speaker 7: of other politicians and other decisions that are being made.
- 44:53Speaker 7: Is a problem that we all need to pay more
- 44:55Speaker 7: attention to so that people who don't vote the way
- 44:58Speaker 7: they're supposed to their jobs. We just need to care more,
- 45:02Speaker 7: I guess is the right way to say it, and
- 45:04Speaker 7: most Texans, I think do when that thing that's being
- 45:08Speaker 7: discussed harms you. If people vote that shouldn't vote. And
- 45:12Speaker 7: if Talla Rico can win an election, he shouldn't win.
- 45:15Speaker 7: A lot of Texans will care that. But it would
- 45:17Speaker 7: be better if we care before that happens to prevent
- 45:20Speaker 7: it from happening. Essentially, all right, I want to play
- 45:22Speaker 7: the Hassan Piker thing. I thought this was interesting. It's
- 45:24Speaker 7: making the rounds.
- 45:26Speaker 1: It is a San Piker doing an interview with.
- 45:29Speaker 7: Some horrible lefty people, one of which I think is
- 45:33Speaker 7: actually wearing like a Pete Bootage Edge twenty twenty election shirt, which.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Just looks so stupid.
- 45:40Speaker 7: But I want to play this because I think it's
- 45:42Speaker 7: interesting the question that was asked of Hassan Piker, insanely
- 45:46Speaker 7: left guy who is helping certain politicians on the left
- 45:51Speaker 7: in their election campaigns, in their primary races and other things.
- 45:55Speaker 7: He gets a lot of views, a lot of people
- 45:57Speaker 7: pay attention to him in Liberia, but he's definitely an
- 46:02Speaker 7: insane moron in my opinion, and he sort of demonstrates
- 46:06Speaker 7: how egotistical he is because I do think this is
- 46:09Speaker 7: a pretty good question to ask of him about political strategy,
- 46:13Speaker 7: and he can't seem to understand why the answer he
- 46:16Speaker 7: gave was terrible.
- 46:17Speaker 13: Here we go, Hassan, you recently said that progressives might
- 46:21Speaker 13: have to moderate in the general election, at least.
- 46:24Speaker 1: With the why they communicate.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Now, does that mean you don't mind if say abdol
- 46:28Speaker 3: el Sayed or Iosay threw you under the bus.
- 46:31Speaker 1: That's what it takes to wayn.
- 46:34Speaker 14: I don't think there is a necessity for them to
- 46:36Speaker 14: do this, because I think they're ackling the form is
- 46:39Speaker 14: probably the more appropriate way to deal with questions like
- 46:42Speaker 14: that and just simply ask, why are we doing guilt
- 46:45Speaker 14: by association?
- 46:46Speaker 7: Yeah, because they're guilty of associating with you, and you
- 46:49Speaker 7: hate that. You don't like that because as someone who's
- 46:52Speaker 7: a political pundit prenominantly on the internet, you are.
- 46:55Speaker 1: As radical as they get.
- 46:57Speaker 7: In order to get the views, the eyeballs, the people
- 46:59Speaker 7: to pay tention to you, and then you try to
- 47:01Speaker 7: influence the party, and in influencing the party, you say
- 47:04Speaker 7: a lot of insane stuff. But here's here's the thing
- 47:06Speaker 7: that that audio is missing, and that audio should understand
- 47:10Speaker 7: better than it does. These radical lefties like l said
- 47:14Speaker 7: or AOC believe all the same stuff that hasan Piker believes.
- 47:18Speaker 7: So when the people ask should they throw you under
- 47:22Speaker 7: the bus, should they distance themselves from you? In order
- 47:25Speaker 7: to win an election somewhere because the DSA, the Democratic
- 47:29Speaker 7: Socialists of America are losing at least some of the
- 47:32Speaker 7: pr battle that. Thankfully they're losing because most Americans think
- 47:36Speaker 7: that DSA people are insane. The reason that Piker says
- 47:40Speaker 7: what he does is because he knows as well as
- 47:42Speaker 7: I do, and you should that most of these people,
- 47:44Speaker 7: Talla Rico, these types of crazy individuals, they believe all
- 47:48Speaker 7: that far left ridiculous stuff, and they actually want that
- 47:52Speaker 7: to be the way that our society in our country
- 47:54Speaker 7: is governed.
- 47:55Speaker 1: If they get a chance to get their hook in.
- 47:57Speaker 7: The door, they'll push further and further for communism, Marxism,
- 48:01Speaker 7: all the things that you and I know are horrible
- 48:04Speaker 7: and that some of the listeners called in earlier to
- 48:06Speaker 7: talk to me about, like taking away property DSA. People
- 48:10Speaker 7: have actually said that they think private property is wrong,
- 48:13Speaker 7: and anyone that's in a house, that owns a home,
- 48:17Speaker 7: you would And here's my favorite part of that too,
- 48:19Speaker 7: just real quick and I have more audio. I should
- 48:21Speaker 7: have done something fun before we get out of here,
- 48:24Speaker 7: but I want to play this other political stuff. My
- 48:27Speaker 7: favorite thing is that most people on the left will
- 48:30Speaker 7: pretend that they support something until someone showed up at
- 48:33Speaker 7: their door, Like if someone actually knocked in your door,
- 48:35Speaker 7: you own a house, you're a Democrat, you voted that
- 48:38Speaker 7: side into power, And they go, all right, now we
- 48:40Speaker 7: don't think that private property is allowed anymore, so you
- 48:43Speaker 7: have to give us your house.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Then they would belived that's.
- 48:46Speaker 7: The version of I think it was Billie Eilish who
- 48:49Speaker 7: made the comments about how you know you can't do
- 48:53Speaker 7: certain things on stolen land. And then someone pointed out
- 48:56Speaker 7: that her mansion in California is on land that should
- 48:59Speaker 7: be owned by a Native Americans, and there was a
- 49:03Speaker 7: push for Billy Eilish to give her mansion to the
- 49:06Speaker 7: Indians who should own it, to the Native Americans who
- 49:08Speaker 7: should own it, and they even said they'd love to
- 49:10Speaker 7: take it, which was my favorite part of that story.
- 49:13Speaker 7: When the spokesperson for the Native Americans in the eye,
- 49:15Speaker 7: I can't remember.
- 49:16Speaker 1: What tribe it was. I was like, yeah, we'll take
- 49:19Speaker 1: the house if she's willing to give us the house.
- 49:21Speaker 7: And then silence from Billie Eilish because they don't like
- 49:25Speaker 7: it when it shows up at their door. Anyone who
- 49:28Speaker 7: was a fan of a sanctuary city started to not
- 49:32Speaker 7: like it once Texas started to send people out to
- 49:34Speaker 7: Chicago or anywhere else that claimed that they were sanctuary cities.
- 49:38Speaker 7: All right, I want to play one last thing in
- 49:39Speaker 7: the world of politics, and I can't help, but I
- 49:42Speaker 7: do want to play this too. This is Ram Emmanuel,
- 49:46Speaker 7: one time adviser to Barack Obama, saying how ridiculous ridiculous,
- 49:52Speaker 7: ridiculous some of these Democratic positions are, and how the
- 49:55Speaker 7: Democratic Party is in fact out of touch. Of course,
- 49:58Speaker 7: this won't land anywhere it's supposed to land. It's people
- 50:01Speaker 7: like me who play it because we like that someone
- 50:03Speaker 7: on the left is saying the thing the rest of
- 50:06Speaker 7: us know is true. And I dumbly assume that this
- 50:09Speaker 7: would do a better job of demonstrating that I'm not
- 50:12Speaker 7: just giving you a bias opinion, that I'm giving you
- 50:14Speaker 7: an opinion that people on the left even think is accurate.
- 50:18Speaker 1: But who knows.
- 50:18Speaker 7: We'll go ahead and play it anyway, just for you know, giggles,
- 50:21Speaker 7: and see how we go here.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Here it is twenty twenty eight is a choice election,
- 50:25Speaker 2: and we better be able to show people that were
- 50:27Speaker 2: grounded in their values and grounded in their economics. And
- 50:31Speaker 2: anything that gets into defunding the police or bathroom access
- 50:35Speaker 2: rather than classroom excellence is a distraction from actually what
- 50:39Speaker 2: President Clinton President Obama, who both normally get elected reelected,
- 50:42Speaker 2: showed us how to win. We don't have to relearn
- 50:44Speaker 2: this letter.
- 50:45Speaker 7: We have to yeah, we don't have to relearn this lesson.
- 50:47Speaker 7: And actually, the funny thing about Obama is he even
- 50:49Speaker 7: really campaigned pretty hard against like deporting people, keeping people
- 50:53Speaker 7: out of the country that aren't supposed to be here,
- 50:54Speaker 7: and the Democrats of today.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Not that I'm actually praising Obama.
- 50:57Speaker 7: There's a lot of things he did that I didn't like, obviously,
- 51:00Speaker 7: as you know too, But even he seemed to understand
- 51:04Speaker 7: that some of these policies of twenty twenty six just
- 51:06Speaker 7: do not play with the United States citizen base, the
- 51:12Speaker 7: average everyday US citizen that some Democrats, like asan Piker,
- 51:16Speaker 7: seem to think is actually a good thing. All Right,
- 51:18Speaker 7: we're just about out of time, and I like to
- 51:20Speaker 7: do as much as I can of sillier stuff. I
- 51:23Speaker 7: call it a quick four ish set of topics. Usually
- 51:26Speaker 7: I'm attempting to do four of these topics. I'm not
- 51:29Speaker 7: gonna have enough time to do it. But we can't
- 51:30Speaker 7: just do serious stuff and political stuff all the time,
- 51:33Speaker 7: or we'd go crazy.
- 51:35Speaker 1: This is not necessarily fun, though. This is kind of sad.
- 51:38Speaker 7: One of the stars of Heroes, Hayden Panitieri, died yesterday.
- 51:44Speaker 7: She was thirty six years old. I saw when it
- 51:47Speaker 7: first broke that she had passed away, that people weren't
- 51:51Speaker 7: really sure what happened, but inevitably today the announcement. The
- 51:55Speaker 7: update is that she likely died of an overdose. The
- 51:59Speaker 7: nine to one one call that made and she was
- 52:01Speaker 7: in South Carolina even though she doesn't live there, in
- 52:04Speaker 7: an airbnb with an on again, off again boyfriend who
- 52:06Speaker 7: had beaten her in the package is horrible, But I
- 52:10Speaker 7: guess the only reason to mention this, and certainly not
- 52:12Speaker 7: an uplifting a way to end the show, is how
- 52:15Speaker 7: much of a talented person I thought she was back
- 52:17Speaker 7: when I saw her in Heroes, and how often it
- 52:20Speaker 7: seems that Hollywood destroys people. Hayden Panitieri, if I'm saying
- 52:24Speaker 7: her last name correctly, is someone that had been in
- 52:27Speaker 7: television or movies or commercials from like the age of
- 52:32Speaker 7: an infant. I think the first thing she did in
- 52:36Speaker 7: media she said she didn't even remember she was a baby,
- 52:38Speaker 7: in like some commercial for baby food or something. And
- 52:42Speaker 7: then she was in soap operas and all kinds of things,
- 52:43Speaker 7: and inevitably in a couple bigger TV shows, Heroes in
- 52:47Speaker 7: Nashville among them, that gets chewed up and spit out
- 52:51Speaker 7: by Hollywood, a place.
- 52:53Speaker 1: That is hardcore left, hardcore liberal.
- 52:56Speaker 7: And claims that they care about people, and yet we
- 52:58Speaker 7: see this story again and again and again of a
- 53:01Speaker 7: horrific thing happening with a young person. And actually, what's
- 53:05Speaker 7: really interesting to me is that a co star of hers, I.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Think in a Disney movie.
- 53:10Speaker 7: I didn't see it, but I saw that this all
- 53:12Speaker 7: trended online also died, Michelle Trachtenberg, like a year ago,
- 53:17Speaker 7: and I think she died of like diabetes complications or
- 53:19Speaker 7: something horrible. In the case of Hayden Pannetieri, who had
- 53:23Speaker 7: recently wrote a memoir about her struggles with addiction and
- 53:27Speaker 7: other things, she likely died of an overdose. But it's
- 53:31Speaker 7: just insane to think how Hollywood takes these people and
- 53:34Speaker 7: just absolutely choose them up and spits them right back
- 53:37Speaker 7: out into the world in just sort of the most
- 53:39Speaker 7: horrific way it possibly can. All Right, that's it. That's
- 53:42Speaker 7: the whole show. We don't have time for anything else.
- 53:44Speaker 7: I did have more fun stuff planned, like a woman
- 53:47Speaker 7: who spray painted herself to try to hide in trees.
- 53:51Speaker 1: And also I was trying not to get an hoa.
- 53:54Speaker 7: I think, fine, but I'll probably talk about that tomorrow
- 53:57Speaker 7: because anybody who's anywhere in the world or in this
- 54:00Speaker 7: country that tries to defeat in hoa by spray painting
- 54:04Speaker 7: yourself and hiding in the forest is somebody I at
- 54:06Speaker 7: least want to talk about, not saying I agree with
- 54:08Speaker 7: them on all the things they do, but I'm at
- 54:10Speaker 7: least amused because a lot of people hate their hoa.
- 54:13Speaker 1: But that's it. That's the show.
- 54:14Speaker 7: As I said, we're back tomorrow from six to seven o'clock.
- 54:16Speaker 7: Chris Salcedo is a guest that will be on to
- 54:19Speaker 7: talk about his legendary run in Mornings here.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Talk to you next time.
