- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to Ryan
- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: One on two point seven Kiss FM. Every sort of
- 0:13Speaker 2: a booty call. We recently started hearing about this foody
- 0:15Speaker 2: calls squat with somebody meet him on it for the
- 0:18Speaker 2: three meal, just for the yeah, just for the food,
- 0:21Speaker 2: just for the moment to not have to pay the bill.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Tiny met Robbie on Hinge. So Hinge has a special
- 0:27Speaker 2: place in our heart. But the latest trend on Hinge
- 0:31Speaker 2: is what sicny.
- 0:32Speaker 3: A duty call And it's kind of like this Bob
- 0:36Speaker 3: the Builder trend that's happening on Hinge right now. Women
- 0:40Speaker 3: are turning to the dating app to get free handyman.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Service, and look, I get it.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It is it gets pricey to hire a handyman to
- 0:49Speaker 3: come and fix a faucet or fix something in your
- 0:52Speaker 3: house or build furniture. So instead of their usual dinner
- 0:55Speaker 3: and drinks, they'll actually put on their profile. I am
- 1:00Speaker 3: looking for someone, or I'm looking to be won over
- 1:02Speaker 3: by someone who is handy, who is good with their hands,
- 1:06Speaker 3: who can put together some furniture, who can build something,
- 1:09Speaker 3: things like that, and that they shared that this their
- 1:12Speaker 3: past matches not only helped assemble furniture, but even bought
- 1:16Speaker 3: plants to spruce up their places and hung lamps or
- 1:21Speaker 3: hung art. And it's a duty call you you assigned
- 1:26Speaker 3: them duties.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Okay, let's go.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I want you to comment on this because you met
- 1:31Speaker 2: Robbie old fashion way.
- 1:34Speaker 3: How long did it take Robbie to do a duty
- 1:38Speaker 3: for you?
- 1:38Speaker 1: A long time into my house until like third date?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Is that quick? What? But like I feel like I
- 1:56Speaker 1: would never just put it out.
- 1:57Speaker 4: There and say, hey, come help me. I don't don't
- 2:00Speaker 4: even know the first thing he helped me handy in mind, I'm.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Sure he does.
- 2:05Speaker 4: I'm sure there has to there had to have been
- 2:07Speaker 4: something specifically, but it was.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It was COVID.
- 2:10Speaker 4: It was already like we were already in lockdown and
- 2:12Speaker 4: I couldn't get someone to come and fix something under
- 2:15Speaker 4: my seeing so that we already been dating for like
- 2:16Speaker 4: five or six months.
- 2:19Speaker 2: So you know, as an unmarried person on the show here,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I just want to tell you that I am not
- 2:27Speaker 2: I would not be a good respondent to the duty call.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm not good at the duty I'm not great.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm waiting, by the way, I get nervous when I
- 2:36Speaker 2: try and make a drink and there's a date with me, like,
- 2:38Speaker 2: you know, what's your drink and I have to like
- 2:40Speaker 2: make the drink and I'm trying to talk and mix
- 2:42Speaker 2: a drink for it's hard. I have a little bit
- 2:45Speaker 2: of panic. So I'm not a duty call kind of guy.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But you tell me when the logistics call trend comes,
- 2:52Speaker 2: because I am logistics to the nines.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We want planning.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Do you want time? You want look logistics? I mean
- 3:01Speaker 2: I should work for FedEx. I know logistics like ups
- 3:05Speaker 2: and FedEx.
- 3:05Speaker 1: That's in my hand.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Everyone everyone has their qualities, and everyone has their person
- 3:10Speaker 3: that will match perfectly with them.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You don't find it attractive that a guy can make
- 3:15Speaker 2: things happen, plan things organize, and yeah, thank you siicity.
- 3:19Speaker 3: But bonus points if you can also build stuff with
- 3:22Speaker 3: your hands.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Let's leave the dating apps to finding love.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Let's not keep using them to build furniture, get free meals, like,
- 3:31Speaker 4: let's let the dating apps be what they're supposed to be.
- 3:34Speaker 3: So a sociologist says that this trend taps into a
- 3:38Speaker 3: shift after the pandemic. People now value utility and action
- 3:42Speaker 3: over just small talk. It's a way for guys to
- 3:46Speaker 3: impress with their I don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 1: With your skills.
- 3:50Speaker 3: What skills they got real world problem solve solving skills.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I got that. I can work out logistics.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I can if you need planning, I could be your guy.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I think if a guy came and like did something
- 4:03Speaker 3: for you, Yes, if you're using them, that's one thing,
- 4:05Speaker 3: But if you're actually genuinely trying to get to know
- 4:07Speaker 3: them and they're doing a task for you, it's kind
- 4:10Speaker 3: of hot.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Like did you imagine a first date somebody saying, what
- 4:13Speaker 4: do you want to do? Can you come over here
- 4:15Speaker 4: and fix my coffee table? Leg and they'll go grab
- 4:17Speaker 4: a drink hot.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not mad at it. I've never imagined saying
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm not mad at it. Well, you don't have to
- 4:23Speaker 1: imagine anything anymore. You're Marid forever. Yeah, you're done, So
- 4:26Speaker 1: lay off of them. Are you owing?
- 4:28Speaker 3: It's no, it's like cue, oh okay, I thought you
- 4:31Speaker 3: were like sad that you're not in a date any No.
- 4:33Speaker 1: No, no, no, no no no.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But yeah, there's warnings that, like you're letting strangers into
- 4:38Speaker 3: your house, so maybe don't do that.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Thanks for coming.
- 4:40Speaker 2: So apparently we have moved on from just these, uh,
- 4:45Speaker 2: those predictable You call them golden Retriever boyfriends? Right, right,
- 4:50Speaker 2: sweet guys are golden Retriever boyfriends?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yes?
- 4:53Speaker 3: Always adoring you, giving you that weaponinery, what's the problem?
- 4:57Speaker 3: I listen, this is I write this article, but I
- 5:00Speaker 3: was intrigued by it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So now they're saying, what is the issue with golden retrievers?
- 5:05Speaker 1: There's no issue? There is no issue.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Is there any issue? No any issue with golden boyfriends
- 5:10Speaker 2: in the back.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Room, Maybe some would say it doesn't excite them enough
- 5:13Speaker 3: to have a golden Retriever boyfriend.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So that would be the issue. They're too sweet too, sure,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you know, it was like the good guy never wins
- 5:20Speaker 1: type of vibe. I don't believe that. I don't believe.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I don't believe that.
- 5:24Speaker 3: But if you're making me dig deep at why people
- 5:26Speaker 3: would be against golden Retriever boyfriends.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So now the new thing we're hearing about is the
- 5:31Speaker 2: black Cat's boyfriend.
- 5:32Speaker 1: What is that?
- 5:32Speaker 3: So think about I'm going to put it into characters
- 5:35Speaker 3: so that maybe this will help you out, like Conrad
- 5:37Speaker 3: from the Summer I Turned Pretty, or Felix from Too Much,
- 5:40Speaker 3: or even car Me from the Bear. Okay, so think
- 5:44Speaker 3: these types of characters. These guys are not overly affectionate,
- 5:47Speaker 3: They're not gushy. They're more moody, mysterious. They are emotionally intense.
- 5:53Speaker 3: They show love and small but very like meaningful ways.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Maybe they'll give you a quick glance or a rare
- 6:00Speaker 3: compliment from time to time, And for some weird reason,
- 6:05Speaker 3: it feels way more special when these dudes do stuff
- 6:09Speaker 3: like this, and then overly romantic guys like Golden Retrievers.
- 6:14Speaker 3: And I don't know what the science behind that in
- 6:17Speaker 3: your head is, but I definitely have been there, like
- 6:20Speaker 3: I have yearned for that affection when I was younger
- 6:23Speaker 3: and I would date guys like this, and anytime they
- 6:26Speaker 3: would give me some sort of positive I'd be like, oh,
- 6:29Speaker 3: I feel so good, Which is such a crazy way
- 6:32Speaker 3: to think when you put it in that way, you know,
- 6:35Speaker 3: But it's the black cat, the black catboyfriend.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Is it because the black cat boyfriend only says it
- 6:40Speaker 2: when they mean it, and the Retriever doesn't.
- 6:42Speaker 1: They just always say, don't know?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Is it because the black cat boyfriend is less thoughtful
- 6:46Speaker 2: and then thoughtful sometimes like so hot and cold?
- 6:49Speaker 1: There's an addictiveness to it.
- 6:50Speaker 3: It's almost like, uh, like, it's like a.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Slow burn in the love.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I don't understand less fireworks but deeper connections.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What's confusing, Tanya. It's like the.
- 7:03Speaker 4: People who were team Edward Colin in the Twilight Days,
- 7:06Speaker 4: you know, like Jacob obviously loved her more.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's exactly that.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Well, let's not go back to the shows in two
- 7:13Speaker 2: thousand and four and where we were on both teams.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That's why I brought up the summer term, but that's
- 7:18Speaker 3: exactly same thing.
- 7:19Speaker 4: It's Jeremiah like he's the Golden retriever, Conrad's the black Cat.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So do these characters you refer two on TV?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Are they created and then we as real people react
- 7:30Speaker 2: or are they created because we as real people act
- 7:32Speaker 2: black Cattie, I.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Think real people act this way. I definitely have dated
- 7:37Speaker 3: a black cat boyfriend before, and I thought and the
- 7:40Speaker 3: whole time it was like I was competing for his
- 7:44Speaker 3: affection or his love and I was yearning for it,
- 7:47Speaker 3: like I wanted it more and that person would never
- 7:50Speaker 3: give me it.
- 7:50Speaker 1: But when he did, I felt like it was.
- 7:52Speaker 3: So special because he wouldn't give it up so much
- 7:55Speaker 3: not liking that, you know what I mean?
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yes, I doad Halloween cost No, I was just thinking
- 8:02Speaker 2: about halloween costumes.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Black cat boyfriend hot costume.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's actually a great costume.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Very topical, easy to do. Angie, thank you for coming
- 8:10Speaker 2: so as I understand it. Here, you saw your friend's
- 8:14Speaker 2: husband flirting aggressively with somebody.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yep, exactly, and I'm more flirting.
- 8:24Speaker 1: What do you mean details?
- 8:27Speaker 5: Okay, So I I was out over the weekend at
- 8:30Speaker 5: a party and I noticed this and it's just been
- 8:33Speaker 5: stuck in my head ever since. Like, I saw my
- 8:36Speaker 5: friend's husband. He was just like getting really close, clearly flirting,
- 8:40Speaker 5: leaning and like touching her arm, was bringing her ear,
- 8:43Speaker 5: like the kind of flirting you expect from somebody who
- 8:46Speaker 5: is single, not married. I don't really know if it
- 8:49Speaker 5: went any further than that, but all I know is
- 8:50Speaker 5: that it did not sit right was me. And now
- 8:53Speaker 5: I just can't stop thinking about it because I'm close
- 8:55Speaker 5: friends with his wife. So like, what is my responsibility
- 8:59Speaker 5: as a friend. Do I say something to her because
- 9:01Speaker 5: I know it could break up her marriage? Or do
- 9:02Speaker 5: I just stay out of it because it's not really
- 9:04Speaker 5: my place.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Mma. I'm marinating on this for a second.
- 9:14Speaker 3: There's a way about it where you're gonna come and
- 9:16Speaker 3: accuse him.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But do you know who the woman was that he was?
- 9:23Speaker 5: No, she was she was a rand like I've never
- 9:26Speaker 5: seen her before. She was just a mutual friend, I guess.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I mean maybe it's like casual like I saw your
- 9:31Speaker 3: husband over the weekend and he was with some girl, Like,
- 9:35Speaker 3: is that his friend?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Or do you know her? That's it?
- 9:38Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 9:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think by telling her you're gonna necessarily
- 9:44Speaker 4: ruin her marriage.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Because then you leave it on her to go ask
- 9:47Speaker 1: her husband, right.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Like, Hey, it's gonna well, it's also gonna create you
- 9:51Speaker 2: being pushed away because you're going to bring this up
- 9:55Speaker 2: to your friend. Her husband's gonna be addressed by your friend,
- 9:59Speaker 2: and now the couple might not want to hang out
- 10:02Speaker 2: with you.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Not the couple. The husband will start probably what if.
- 10:06Speaker 2: He gets out of it? What if he's like are
- 10:08Speaker 2: you why would she say that? When he makes some
- 10:10Speaker 2: sort of starts gash, you're the bad person?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Is not worth it?
- 10:18Speaker 2: He may he may squirm out of it, and then
- 10:21Speaker 2: she turns on you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: But this is she alive, like she knows what she saw.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Okay, well then you just if Robbie, we were somewhere
- 10:31Speaker 3: and I saw Robbie canoodling with Mikayla. You heard her,
- 10:35Speaker 3: and nobody told Tanya And it wasn't anything, but it
- 10:39Speaker 3: was like but it was like.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know that he had his hand on her arm
- 10:42Speaker 1: or whatever, and they were laughing about something.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I would maybe say something to Tanya and be like, hey,
- 10:49Speaker 3: your guy.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Was like works here, that's weird. Well let's pretend that
- 10:52Speaker 1: we didn't know him, Kayla.
- 10:53Speaker 3: But I'm just saying, if you saw that and you
- 10:56Speaker 3: didn't tell me, it is so mad, it's I would
- 10:59Speaker 3: tell you, but I wouldn't be like, Robbie's cheating on you.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I would just be like, if, excuse me, what if
- 11:04Speaker 2: Robbie said, Darling, honey, Darling, I was putting neo sporin
- 11:11Speaker 2: on her.
- 11:11Speaker 1: She had a bite. Now what do you do? Why
- 11:16Speaker 1: you the pop? You believe Robby? I mean, yes, you're right.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:20Speaker 3: This is Robbie's eyes like he's gonna hate me, and
- 11:23Speaker 3: Tom's gonna forgive Robbie, and then now I can't hang
- 11:25Speaker 3: out with.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Him exactly, Angie bad. Iady to bring it up. Exercise
- 11:33Speaker 2: and role playing.
- 11:35Speaker 1: When you will play it really puts it in perspective.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Born is that time your bug bites everything?
- 11:45Speaker 3: You know what, Angie? How about like for me want
- 11:47Speaker 3: shame on you? For me twice shame on me type
- 11:49Speaker 3: of things. So like if he does it again, then
- 11:51Speaker 3: then you say something.
- 11:53Speaker 5: I'm an agreement. I vibe with that. I like that.
- 11:57Speaker 2: We have a good conclusion. Good luck, Thanks for calling Angie.
- 12:00Speaker 2: All right, we got a quote of the day here
- 12:01Speaker 2: in a second. But it's Friday. It does not forget
- 12:03Speaker 2: it's Friday.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Wake up. The day is all day Friday.
- 12:06Speaker 2: So adding this to foods, they say it can really
- 12:10Speaker 2: help you live a little bit longer.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And that is adding spice.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Ooo. They said that people who ate spicy foods almost
- 12:17Speaker 2: daily have fewer deaths from heart disease, cancer, and breathing
- 12:20Speaker 2: issues in general. So if you eat the spice on
- 12:23Speaker 2: a regular now, spice doesn't I used to eat a
- 12:25Speaker 2: lot of spice.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It doesn't work for me. Now it bothers me.
- 12:29Speaker 2: There's ginger kind of spice like ginger fine, but other
- 12:33Speaker 2: spices like hot spices of and arrow's hurt.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I think your taste, but they're all out of whack.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Why do you think that because you change your diet
- 12:40Speaker 3: up so much and you go so extreme that like
- 12:42Speaker 3: now you can't even have like some tabasco on your.
- 12:45Speaker 2: This is what my best friend just told me. Really yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 2: because I used to love all those sauces.
- 12:49Speaker 1: What's your sauce called that? You guys Elchi lead though.
- 12:52Speaker 1: See I used to travel with sauces like that.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Those sauce you put them on eggs, you put them
- 12:56Speaker 2: on potatoes, put them on fries.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Anyways, spice today's quoting on a Friday. The wrong people
- 13:02Speaker 2: always teach the right lessons. That is basically what I
- 13:05Speaker 2: was trying to tell you. If you Mincio's listening the
- 13:08Speaker 2: wrong people.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm teaching you a good lesson.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Riley and Nelsegundo. Riley, good morning, Good morning. How are
- 13:17Speaker 2: you doing.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I'm doing well.
- 13:19Speaker 7: How are you?
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'm super good? Thank you for asking.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So what I know is, uh, your family is mad
- 13:28Speaker 2: at you for selling your baby's baby clothes.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 13:33Speaker 7: It's actually my my baby stroller that my family got me.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Oh your family got it? Are you? Now? Why are
- 13:42Speaker 1: they mass?
- 13:42Speaker 7: My parents got us this really nice orbit baby stroller.
- 13:47Speaker 7: Right when my daughter was born. We were kind of
- 13:49Speaker 7: looking around for strollers and they went ahead and sprung
- 13:52Speaker 7: for the Orbit one and we've used it for six
- 13:56Speaker 7: years and with two children, we have used this stroller
- 14:01Speaker 7: so well. And now my youngest is.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Too old for it.
- 14:06Speaker 7: So I when I hadn't sold it on Facebook marketplace, Right,
- 14:11Speaker 7: that's what you do with these things.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Yeah, why are they mad at you for that?
- 14:15Speaker 7: My parents are mad because they said I should have
- 14:18Speaker 7: saved it for my baby sister, and I say, baby,
- 14:22Speaker 7: she's my little sister. I just will never not call
- 14:24Speaker 7: her baby sister. Okay, but he's old enough to date
- 14:28Speaker 7: and get married, but she's not even in a relationship yet.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and why do you have to store this thing
- 14:34Speaker 3: in your garage or your house for something that may or.
- 14:39Speaker 7: May not happen exactly doesn't even have any prospects. So
- 14:47Speaker 7: my sister's also mad at me. My parents are mad
- 14:50Speaker 7: at me. My sister was apparently also expecting to get it,
- 14:54Speaker 7: and no one told me any of this, so we'll know.
- 14:57Speaker 7: Am I in the wrong.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Well, you're whatever you want to do. You're a grown adult.
- 15:02Speaker 2: You could do what you want with the stroller. It's yours,
- 15:05Speaker 2: Like when you have it, it's given, it's yours.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Here's the thing, you gotta do that.
- 15:09Speaker 2: You gotta play the step back card, step back family,
- 15:13Speaker 2: step back things to be mad at.
- 15:16Speaker 1: This is what we're upset about. When our blood boiled
- 15:19Speaker 1: over this.
- 15:19Speaker 2: There were so many are things that could get to
- 15:21Speaker 2: us and waste our time and our energy and release cortisol.
- 15:24Speaker 1: This should not be one of them. You got to
- 15:27Speaker 1: play that card, I think, yeah, Or why don't you
- 15:29Speaker 1: just let them store it? Well, it's too late now
- 15:31Speaker 1: she sold it. Well.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Hey, you know every time I go to Disneyland, I
- 15:37Speaker 2: stop and I am blown away by the strollers.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I mean the next some of them I didn't know.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You know, they're like car companies make stroller I know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I like the parking for them.
- 15:47Speaker 3: This orbit was just talking about the seat, like three
- 15:50Speaker 3: sixties around.
- 15:52Speaker 1: They they are amazing. Some of them are all tricked out,
- 15:56Speaker 1: they really are. But you can also strollers.
- 15:59Speaker 3: They also resale for a very good price, I know
- 16:02Speaker 3: from experience. Riley and and you should not feel guilty
- 16:06Speaker 3: about it at all, because you know what, that money
- 16:07Speaker 3: that you made from that stroller is going right back
- 16:10Speaker 3: to your kids.
- 16:11Speaker 2: What's it Kelly blue book on that stroller's key?
- 16:15Speaker 7: Oh I got five hundred dollars after using it for
- 16:18Speaker 7: six years.
- 16:18Speaker 1: You see, there you go.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It's dying. It's better than the blue Book. All right,
- 16:22Speaker 2: thank you Riley, Thank you, guys.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Bye you after physics like a two thousand dollars stroller.
- 16:30Speaker 1: If you get it with oh why I.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Know, if you get it with like the car seat
- 16:34Speaker 3: and the bassident and the whole hoopla for it, I'm
- 16:36Speaker 3: telling you, that's what I'm saying.
- 16:38Speaker 1: They're all tricked out.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Do you know that Kelly blue Book is the car
- 16:41Speaker 2: thing when you're gonna sell resell car?
- 16:44Speaker 1: Yeah? I know why. That's why because I mentioned in
- 16:47Speaker 1: time said she didn't know what it was.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Oh I missed that. Yes, Kelly blue Book that's still around.
- 16:54Speaker 3: That's still like, why is it? Who's Kelly?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Use anybody?
- 16:59Speaker 2: No?
- 17:00Speaker 1: No, Kelly specifically had this book like this. It's like car.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Thanks for listening to us, Ryan Seacrest. Here's Sey, Tanya
- 17:12Speaker 2: and the back room altogether. For a second date update.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Here's what we got guys from Marisa with one S.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I remember for years I was spelling my dearest friend
- 17:25Speaker 2: Michelle's name wrong one or two l's one.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Mm hm, and you're spelling over two. Yeah, yeah, I
- 17:32Speaker 1: mean the common way is too well, I think yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 1: But finally she's like, you know, you spelled my name wrong.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Oh good, embarrassing you spell my name wrong? For I
- 17:41Speaker 1: still spell wrong? Yeah, you're still spelt wrong. I don't
- 17:43Speaker 1: understand how. I think it's all corrected in his phone. Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I think it's just the way I saved it the
- 17:48Speaker 1: first time. I missed. I E at the end, and
- 17:50Speaker 1: you just put E Susain.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I like, I like this my nickname for you. You
- 17:56Speaker 2: are so Cusaine, a csain in the membrane. All right,
- 17:59Speaker 2: let's get to this. I've acid reflection from too much
- 18:04Speaker 2: of coffee.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Okay, Marissa, good morning, Good morning.
- 18:10Speaker 2: So you are out there in the dating world, Sherman Oaks.
- 18:14Speaker 2: He had a great first date with the guy. Then
- 18:15Speaker 2: he blocked you on his phone. I got a hard block.
- 18:18Speaker 8: Yeah, and you think you know why? Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 18:22Speaker 8: pretty sure I know why. Just a little backstory. We
- 18:25Speaker 8: actually met at the gym and I grabbed his water bottle.
- 18:29Speaker 8: We both have like a Stanley cup that looks exactly
- 18:32Speaker 8: the same, and I know it's pretty basic, right, but
- 18:36Speaker 8: like he ran out to me and he was like,
- 18:40Speaker 8: I think you have a water bottle and sure enough
- 18:42Speaker 8: it had La King Spike sticker on it. And anyway, yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 8: it was pretty funny and I liked him, but I
- 18:50Speaker 8: was like, I'm not going to re and then I
- 18:52Speaker 8: found him on bubble and I swept right and he
- 18:55Speaker 8: we matched, you know. So like we went to Sherman
- 18:59Speaker 8: Oak and we went to this place called Local Peasant.
- 19:03Speaker 9: Have you been there?
- 19:04Speaker 1: I have?
- 19:06Speaker 8: Yeah, it's great and it was really romantic and we
- 19:09Speaker 8: had a great conversation and then we ended up holding
- 19:12Speaker 8: hands like on the walk and it was just like
- 19:14Speaker 8: really magical. And anyway, so we're walking and I see
- 19:21Speaker 8: the psychic and it's like when you know Sherman Oaks
- 19:24Speaker 8: psychic or something, and I just thought it'd be funny.
- 19:26Speaker 9: So I was like, you know, and he did the moment.
- 19:28Speaker 8: I was like, let's do it, and he was like no,
- 19:31Speaker 8: resistant and like no, no, no no, and I was like
- 19:34Speaker 8: excited about it, and he was just like kind of
- 19:37Speaker 8: like go at the flow, like first day, like you
- 19:39Speaker 8: know what, Okay, fine, So we were laughing and we
- 19:44Speaker 8: go in there and the psychic is like, you're going
- 19:48Speaker 8: to get married, and we were all like what to
- 19:51Speaker 8: the two of you? Yes, and I thought it was funny.
- 19:55Speaker 8: He was freaked out, but like everything was different now
- 20:00Speaker 8: for that. We walked back to my car and we
- 20:02Speaker 8: didn't we were not holding hands and he did not
- 20:05Speaker 8: give me good night.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And I don't need to call him.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I would be the same, like, it's not hurt. It's
- 20:15Speaker 2: a psychic saying it, which would freak me out. No,
- 20:19Speaker 2: it's not cool. You don't want to hear that right away.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Or do you?
- 20:22Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 20:26Speaker 8: Yeah, I didn't think it was that much of a
- 20:28Speaker 8: big deal.
- 20:29Speaker 2: But why pursue this If the psychic said you're going
- 20:34Speaker 2: to get married, he doesn't want it, like kind of
- 20:36Speaker 2: game over, whish.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I doesn't know if this is the reason exactly.
- 20:41Speaker 2: It's for sure, guys, guys, please this is the reason.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Also going to a psychic that would freak me out to.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I mean that that was a bold move the restaurant
- 20:51Speaker 1: to hey, let's stop in the psychic shop.
- 20:52Speaker 3: But I like the spontaneity in it, like that is
- 20:55Speaker 3: almost romantic and fun in its way.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I'm out.
- 20:59Speaker 5: I'm just telling you, like if you go get some
- 21:03Speaker 5: frozen yoga or anything, but this, well that's place.
- 21:08Speaker 8: But I just feel like, like it's not a big deal,
- 21:11Speaker 8: like maybe we could get past it.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Well, I can tell you how this is going to go.
- 21:16Speaker 1: But we're gonna call him.
- 21:17Speaker 2: You'll listen in, and he's gonna say he was freaked
- 21:19Speaker 2: out that you want to go into a psychic store
- 21:20Speaker 2: and then the whole marriage thing. That's my prediction. I
- 21:24Speaker 2: have known to be wrong a lot, but as a
- 21:28Speaker 2: dude who does date in this place, this is what
- 21:34Speaker 2: I would think. All right, man Mercaes, Hold on one side,
- 21:38Speaker 2: bottom of it, Okay, one of two point seven Kiss FM.
- 21:43Speaker 2: It is a second date update. I'm predicting the outcome.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I'm I'm Dallas Rain's forecasting the outcome. Hold on one second.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And I do want to say that, like I appreciate
- 21:55Speaker 2: the talent or gifts that psychics have.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It's just not for me. Oh, I love it so much,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you guys love it.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I just don't really want to know, because if I'm told,
- 22:06Speaker 2: then it's in my head.
- 22:07Speaker 1: A psychic, a medium, all of that give it to me.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I'd rather just play out. So that's why we're here.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Marissa meets this dude. They go out in Sherman Oaks
- 22:17Speaker 2: to dinner. Everything's going well to dinner, and then she says, oh,
- 22:21Speaker 2: look there's a psychic shop. Let's go in and I'm
- 22:24Speaker 2: guaranteeing he He's like, oh gosh, okay, So he goes
- 22:29Speaker 2: in and then the psychic with her gift says, or
- 22:34Speaker 2: his gift says, you guys are gonna get married. He
- 22:38Speaker 2: drops her off, he blocks her. What do we need
- 22:41Speaker 2: to ask? But she wants to know if that's the.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Reason I'm gonna bet on this one. So Marissa, be
- 22:49Speaker 1: very quiet.
- 22:49Speaker 2: We're gonna put him on the phone and we're gonna
- 22:50Speaker 2: hear what he has to say, but you just be
- 22:53Speaker 2: very quiet.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Hold on one second.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Adrian, good morning, it's Ryan Seacrest. You're KIDSFM with us.
- 23:00Speaker 1: How are you?
- 23:03Speaker 6: I'm okay? How are you?
- 23:05Speaker 1: I'm actually great.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I do have a bit of acid reflex from drinking
- 23:09Speaker 2: cold coffee, which is on I don't have ice coffee,
- 23:11Speaker 2: but I did this morning.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yeah. I love ice coffee.
- 23:15Speaker 2: So anyway, we're calling about a woman that you met
- 23:20Speaker 2: named Marissa. I believe you, guys water bottled and then
- 23:24Speaker 2: matched on fumble bumble humble, and then you went out
- 23:27Speaker 2: on a date.
- 23:29Speaker 6: Okay, Yeah, did do you know her?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Do you remember?
- 23:35Speaker 6: Yeah? I mean, yeah, we matched on bumble.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And that was a date.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Well before I answered that, why am I on the
- 23:46Speaker 6: radio talking about this?
- 23:49Speaker 2: That would be the question I would ask as well,
- 23:51Speaker 2: yeacause we happened to know that you met her and
- 23:54Speaker 2: you guys went out and then you blocked her on
- 23:56Speaker 2: your phone, and we were just curious as my be
- 24:00Speaker 2: as to why you blocked her on the phone.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Is there a reason for that?
- 24:05Speaker 2: Well?
- 24:05Speaker 6: Is she listening right now?
- 24:07Speaker 1: If I said no, I'd be lying. So there you
- 24:12Speaker 1: have it. I mean, she's here.
- 24:16Speaker 6: I don't want to be mean or anything.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But why did you break it off?
- 24:22Speaker 2: What happened on that one date that we heard about
- 24:26Speaker 2: that you blocked her after?
- 24:27Speaker 1: For why?
- 24:30Speaker 6: Well, you know, it's just a it's kind of kind
- 24:36Speaker 6: of like weird to to talk about marriage on a
- 24:38Speaker 6: first date.
- 24:39Speaker 1: You know, I do agree, really, I mean.
- 24:47Speaker 6: She's great, she's hot, she's super funny, but.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You know, gets carried off by the marriage.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, But did she talk about.
- 24:56Speaker 1: It or did a third party suggest that?
- 24:59Speaker 6: Well, well, we went on the day, there was a psychic.
- 25:03Speaker 6: We kind of went in there and and the psychic
- 25:06Speaker 6: kind of said, you know, about marriage, and it was
- 25:09Speaker 6: just just really weird to be talking about that all
- 25:12Speaker 6: on a first date.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Okay, So Adrian, that was what I thought, and that
- 25:17Speaker 2: I understand. The only thing is, Marissa, before you respond
- 25:23Speaker 2: to this, Adrian, I think the harsh block is a
- 25:26Speaker 2: little a little aggressive, maybe just a whole like maybe
- 25:30Speaker 2: a whole like, you know, it's so nice to meet you,
- 25:33Speaker 2: but I think that this isn't going to end up anywhere.
- 25:37Speaker 2: And you're lovely and I hope you find the right
- 25:39Speaker 2: person you match with something like that.
- 25:41Speaker 1: But Marissa, what's your response to this?
- 25:45Speaker 8: Okay, Look, I know I freak you out. I know
- 25:47Speaker 8: that was weird, and I agree. I just want to
- 25:50Speaker 8: see if that maybe we can move past it and
- 25:51Speaker 8: pretend like it never happened and just go out again.
- 25:58Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know. I kind of appreciate that,
- 26:03Speaker 6: you know, you're going through all this effort and everything
- 26:05Speaker 6: to get a hold of me, but I mean, I
- 26:09Speaker 6: really don't think that that that this is going to
- 26:11Speaker 6: work out, And I mean I really kind of think
- 26:14Speaker 6: like I should just go.
- 26:16Speaker 9: I think it's just not a big deal, like, well,
- 26:18Speaker 9: well what if we just I'm so sorry I did this,
- 26:20Speaker 9: and I just wish it's never happened, you know. I,
- 26:25Speaker 9: like I said, I think you're great and everything, but
- 26:28Speaker 9: it's just a little too weird for me, and and
- 26:31Speaker 9: I just don't think that this is something that's going
- 26:33Speaker 9: to work out for us.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, she just said you're too weird for
- 26:39Speaker 1: like that.
- 26:40Speaker 2: To cut it off, don't don't You don't want to
- 26:42Speaker 2: convince somebody to date.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not your dude. It just sucks.
- 26:48Speaker 8: I wish I never like went into the psychic.
- 26:54Speaker 6: I mean, I'll be honest, I think I just I
- 26:57Speaker 6: really got this is all just really crazy and just
- 27:00Speaker 6: really weird for me. And it's just just to be honest,
- 27:04Speaker 6: like none of this is my cup of tea, and
- 27:06Speaker 6: having all this like air out on the radio, it's
- 27:08Speaker 6: just it's just weird for me. And I just think
- 27:10Speaker 6: it's a bit much. So I just I really think
- 27:13Speaker 6: I gotta go.
- 27:14Speaker 2: So Also, this psychic doesn't have a lot of credibility
- 27:17Speaker 2: because she was wrong. And you guys are anonymous, I
- 27:21Speaker 2: mean your marriage and here we are, So what kind
- 27:23Speaker 2: of psychic information is that?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Well? We never know, you never know, you might find
- 27:28Speaker 1: their way back to each other, Adrian, thank you for
- 27:31Speaker 1: coming on.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Marissa, This is great news, closure, clarity, You'll find the
- 27:36Speaker 2: person that you do not to do.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Pitch yourself too, and that's what you want. Second date
- 27:43Speaker 1: up there. Thank you both for coming on with us.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you, my good luck. Okay, thanks.
- 27:53Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Let's talk how about these cameras at the house? Sisany
- 28:02Speaker 2: what do you know?
- 28:02Speaker 3: Okay, I have a mix, Actually I do nest. I
- 28:08Speaker 3: have the ring camera, so yeah, basically between Google Homes
- 28:12Speaker 3: and Ring. So the one that we have in the
- 28:16Speaker 3: front is our ring. And the other day we had
- 28:20Speaker 3: a random stranger knock on our door and say, hey,
- 28:23Speaker 3: I'm I'm doing construction down basically across the street in
- 28:27Speaker 3: one of your neighbor's houses, and my car was hit.
- 28:31Speaker 3: And he's like, I'm pretty sure it was one of
- 28:33Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it was one of your neighbors. And
- 28:35Speaker 3: they're not like owning up to it basically or something
- 28:38Speaker 3: like that. And so you wanted to see if I
- 28:40Speaker 3: could look if we could check our ring footage to
- 28:43Speaker 3: see if it captured the incident.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And then I was like, ah, I actually speak to them.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Were you there?
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yes?
- 28:49Speaker 1: And so I was just like you're outside or just
- 28:51Speaker 1: through the mic. No I was outside.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I was like speaking to him and like in person,
- 28:55Speaker 3: and but in my head I was like, Okay, I'll check.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 28:58Speaker 3: I like kind of acted dumb and then I was like,
- 29:00Speaker 3: we'll figure it out. Plus he didn't even know the
- 29:02Speaker 3: exact day. He's like it could have been this date
- 29:03Speaker 3: or this date.
- 29:04Speaker 2: And I'm like, bro, I'm nervous about yeah, and drama
- 29:10Speaker 2: like knocks on my door.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'm afraid if you could be of service to your neighbors,
- 29:14Speaker 1: you should be of service to you.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Now here's the kicker, Tanya rad What I wouldn't be
- 29:19Speaker 3: of service to my neighbors. I would be throwing them
- 29:21Speaker 3: under the bus. If there was an incident that was
- 29:24Speaker 3: captured and if they were guilty.
- 29:25Speaker 4: If your neighbors hit your other set across the street
- 29:29Speaker 4: man neighbor, then they should be held accountable for their actions.
- 29:32Speaker 1: One period is yelling on the yelling you are yelling.
- 29:37Speaker 3: One is a neighbor, and one is the guy that's
- 29:39Speaker 3: working construction. He doesn't live in the neighborhood. So my
- 29:43Speaker 3: loyalty stands with my neighbor, nor should.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Stand with them. Who is at fault? What happened.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I don't know because it didn't capture it, and I'm
- 29:51Speaker 3: so happy that it didn't because I don't want to
- 29:53Speaker 3: be a part of it. What would you do if
- 29:57Speaker 3: it captured it and it totally showed your neighbor was.
- 29:59Speaker 1: At fault, I'd give them the footage.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Then you're the neighbor on the block that ratted out
- 30:04Speaker 3: your neighbor across the street.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because are these the good neighbors, the ones that
- 30:08Speaker 1: are a little older.
- 30:10Speaker 3: All my neighbors are fantastic. I love all my neighbors.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't throw them on. No, I don't think so.
- 30:16Speaker 1: My neighbors did it for me when I got hit.
- 30:18Speaker 4: My car was parked on the street and in the
- 30:20Speaker 4: middle of the night got hit by I assuming was
- 30:22Speaker 4: a drunk driver.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Tables or turned totally. The stranger was against you, and.
- 30:27Speaker 4: They were neighbors, but they were up the street, maybe
- 30:30Speaker 4: like twenty houses up, but all the houses in between
- 30:32Speaker 4: our houses came running down, knock knock, knock.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Can I asked you a question, how much footage do
- 30:37Speaker 2: you actually watch of these cameras? Do you go back
- 30:39Speaker 2: and just like watch strings of stuff or do you
- 30:42Speaker 2: fast forward?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Like how much do you see? Sometimes I do.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Like it's if I had four notifications of people at
- 30:47Speaker 3: my friend door, I'd be like, who was that? Oh
- 30:49Speaker 3: that was Amazon, that was whoever? That was the kids
- 30:51Speaker 3: getting home from school?
- 30:52Speaker 6: Like what you know?
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's like you kind of just see the little clips
- 30:54Speaker 1: of it.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But yeah, for me, normally, it's like a raccoon who
- 30:59Speaker 2: came by the door. Yeah, you know it's a badger.
- 31:01Speaker 2: So interesting here, Tony, you'd be more aggressive.
- 31:05Speaker 1: No, I actually don't watch any footage like zero.
- 31:08Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, you'd be more aggressive in the situation.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Oh, yes, yes, yes, because I have been.
- 31:12Speaker 4: I have been the victim of it, and I was
- 31:16Speaker 4: grateful to have neighbors that said you who look twenty
- 31:19Speaker 4: doors up? Because that car is definitely the one that
- 31:22Speaker 4: hate you.
- 31:24Speaker 2: So do you think of Airbnb's differently now because of
- 31:28Speaker 2: these indoor cameras?
- 31:30Speaker 1: I do consider it, you do, right?
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:32Speaker 1: They allowed to are not allowed to. I don't know
- 31:34Speaker 1: what the rules are, but I don't love it.
- 31:36Speaker 4: When you signed those contracts for an airbnb, you really
- 31:38Speaker 4: sign your life away.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You sign any of those contracts, it reads anything, it's
- 31:42Speaker 3: like sign sime thing.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm afraid.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I mean, I'm afraid to walk out of the bathroom
- 31:48Speaker 2: get into the bed with you know, my normal is nothing.
- 31:53Speaker 2: But I actually rented this, Funny, I rented this. I
- 31:56Speaker 2: rented this house over the summer. And guess what they
- 31:58Speaker 2: had as a feature of the bed a mirror. Yes,
- 32:04Speaker 2: who puts a mirror above the bed and then rents
- 32:06Speaker 2: the house?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Freaky diaky people. Yeah, kind of liked it. Yeah, so
- 32:11Speaker 1: you put it to youse. Good for you.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I mean I woke up in the morning lonely and
- 32:16Speaker 2: I just you know, looked at me like, okay, motivation
- 32:19Speaker 2: to get out.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Of bed's funny.
- 32:21Speaker 2: But but just a question, like if a single guy
- 32:24Speaker 2: who's single back there, I'm running out of options, Mikayla.
- 32:30Speaker 2: If a guy went out with you, he came back
- 32:33Speaker 2: to his place. Let's see, he has a house, right,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and he had a mirror above his bed.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Oh I don't, but you don't like that?
- 32:43Speaker 10: No, like you mean right, yeah, I don't. He might
- 32:48Speaker 10: want said, do you think like behind like his bed frame?
- 32:53Speaker 1: No? No, no, on the ceiling.
- 32:55Speaker 10: Oh okay, yeah, no, okay.
- 32:57Speaker 1: That's behind the bed frame is like to do.
- 33:00Speaker 3: But that's not so weird now, one would probably put
- 33:03Speaker 3: a mirror on the ceiling so that it would.
- 33:05Speaker 10: Capture I don't like for yeah, I would think that's weird.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So a major streamer now recommending shows based on your
- 33:16Speaker 2: astrological sign. Let's walk it down and then see what
- 33:20Speaker 2: we think.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Well, it's Netflix, and it's called your Zodiac watch List.
- 33:25Speaker 1: It will be updated.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Throughout the year to keep pace with the zodiac calendar
- 33:30Speaker 3: and the few examples that we can pull from here,
- 33:33Speaker 3: So let's start with Leo's Tubs soup. Basically confident, generous,
- 33:39Speaker 3: and loyal. So their recommendations will include content like the
- 33:43Speaker 3: Crown Emily in Paris.
- 33:49Speaker 2: It's actually it's actually good your cancer cancer, It's like
- 33:56Speaker 2: to cry a lot if you want that.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Maybe Gilmore Girls and Georgia Grey's Anatomy. No, I love
- 34:03Speaker 3: all those shows, but you're gonna also like the ones
- 34:06Speaker 3: that they suggest for mine, which are competition shows like
- 34:10Speaker 3: Squid Game, Love Is Blind, Building the Band.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I'm an aris I love those two.
- 34:15Speaker 3: This is Harry's rising interesting because for me, I know,
- 34:20Speaker 3: I don't care for Squid Game, I don't care for
- 34:22Speaker 3: Love Is Blind.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You do sing out?
- 34:24Speaker 3: I did watch Building the Band, and that was actually
- 34:25Speaker 3: very good, Ryan Capricorns, Netflix, things that you should watch, Suits,
- 34:31Speaker 3: Hostage Department Q.
- 34:34Speaker 1: We're some relaxation R and R all those shows.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Scorpios are a little bit more charismatic, seductive, mysterious, maybe
- 34:42Speaker 3: Wednesday Untamed or you see. I've been pick and pool from.
- 34:46Speaker 1: All of these Hostage I've not seen Hostage Intrigued Department.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Somebody did recommend to me. I didn't get there yet.
- 34:54Speaker 1: That's and you did love suits.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I did, Okay, I did, But actually you're gonna find
- 35:01Speaker 2: the shocking.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I love this idea. I do too, but I feel
- 35:04Speaker 1: like it's not spot on for mine. But you can.
- 35:07Speaker 1: They'll give you suggestions for every sign. So it's also true.
- 35:10Speaker 2: It's like just one more way to find something that's easier,
- 35:14Speaker 2: because if you just search sarch search without some something
- 35:17Speaker 2: some like.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I need them to say top ten.
- 35:19Speaker 2: I need them to say most one, otherwise I'll never
- 35:23Speaker 2: find anything.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I'll just I'm just.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Getting used to the new algorithm of the new design
- 35:27Speaker 3: that they did, because it took me a minute.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Well, we have new presets on the iHeart radio app.
- 35:32Speaker 1: It doesn't take long. I love that that one's easy,
- 35:34Speaker 1: doesn't take long. Doesn't take long.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Hello, Kelly, how are you doing well?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Thank you? I understand you need some help from us.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I really do well.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Tanya is the best that advice. Go ahead, Tony, Oh,
- 35:49Speaker 1: thank you so much. But what what is that's the issue?
- 35:53Speaker 5: Okay, So basically I've grown I grew up near San Francisco,
- 35:57Speaker 5: but I've been living here in LA for the last
- 36:00Speaker 5: ten years, and in that time, I've traveled back home
- 36:04Speaker 5: for all of my friends big events like weddings, bridle showers,
- 36:08Speaker 5: baby showers, all of it. And now it's my turn
- 36:11Speaker 5: because I'm getting married here in LA and not one
- 36:15Speaker 5: of my friends from San Francisco are making the trip down.
- 36:18Speaker 5: I think it feels like really unfair because I've always
- 36:21Speaker 5: shown up for them, but when it comes to me,
- 36:23Speaker 5: it really seems like they can't even be bothered. And like,
- 36:26Speaker 5: I can really understand that traveling is a whole big ordeal.
- 36:30Speaker 5: It's time money, and it was definitely my choice to
- 36:33Speaker 5: go to their events, but this is the first time
- 36:36Speaker 5: I've really asked for anything, and it feels really one sided.
- 36:38Speaker 5: So now I'm just kind of torn about what I do,
- 36:41Speaker 5: Like do I confront them, should I call them out?
- 36:43Speaker 5: Or just accept that maybe I value these friendships more
- 36:47Speaker 5: than they do.
- 36:48Speaker 1: So how many friends are we talking about?
- 36:51Speaker 5: I am about five?
- 36:53Speaker 1: Wow, and you went to their weddings all five.
- 36:57Speaker 5: I went to weddings, bridal showers, you know, baby those monas.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yeah, question just for you. Why would they all say no?
- 37:09Speaker 5: I guess it's too much of a commitment. And since
- 37:11Speaker 5: I'm last getting married, maybe they're like busy with their
- 37:16Speaker 5: already happened marriages and babies.
- 37:20Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I mean, it's not that far their flights like, no
- 37:24Speaker 1: that happens.
- 37:25Speaker 3: This is a clear sign that they are not your
- 37:29Speaker 3: real friends.
- 37:31Speaker 1: That's sad.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Those sanity hear that, like she did all that for them,
- 37:35Speaker 2: and five people will not show up for her on
- 37:38Speaker 2: every company.
- 37:39Speaker 3: So unless they're not showing up because of a work
- 37:41Speaker 3: commitment or you know, having the baby, that's a different story.
- 37:46Speaker 3: But if they're just literally RZP no because of inconvenience,
- 37:50Speaker 3: then that's not a real friendship.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Okay, So we move on. When is your wedding? It's
- 37:56Speaker 1: in three months and where.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Beverly Hills.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Wow, so funny you mentioned that. So I got ordained
- 38:09Speaker 2: for Tanyan Robbie's wedding.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Have you heard. Oh, yes, of course, so I certified.
- 38:17Speaker 1: He's trying to offer his services geographically. It makes sense
- 38:21Speaker 1: for him.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Easyany's protective at that. But let me know because.
- 38:27Speaker 5: I I mean, I couldn't even imagine their faces if
- 38:33Speaker 5: they saw you at our wedding date.
- 38:36Speaker 1: What's the date?
- 38:38Speaker 5: November seventeenth?
- 38:41Speaker 2: All right, let me uh take a look at Tanya assistant.
- 38:45Speaker 2: We'll talk about it. But I would love to, you know,
- 38:48Speaker 2: send a video be there. I don't know, but if
- 38:50Speaker 2: your five friends can't, that's not cool.
- 38:53Speaker 5: I know. But if you could come, or if you
- 38:56Speaker 5: could do something, that would be so cool. Are you kidding?
- 38:58Speaker 1: On it? On it? On it?
- 39:00Speaker 2: Hey, here's the good news. I found no one. At
- 39:02Speaker 2: least you found somebody.
- 39:05Speaker 1: We're not at the end yet. Story is still evolving.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Oh gosh, all right.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Or maybe you have found someone but you just haven't
- 39:14Speaker 4: made it.
- 39:16Speaker 5: An invisible string.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Yes, maybe there's an invisible string tying you to somebody.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Okay, listen, thank you so much for calling. We appreciate
- 39:23Speaker 2: your vulnerability with us. Honestly, it's not easy to talk about.
- 39:27Speaker 2: But Kelly, we'll get your number. And uh we'll stay close.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Okay, Okay, thank you guys so much. I really appreciate it.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Of course, of course, thanks for calling hang on, thanks
- 39:39Speaker 2: five hundred bucks.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I mean, I wouldn't mind.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I don't know what the day of the week is
- 39:44Speaker 2: or the dates are, like what's happening, but I wouldn't
- 39:47Speaker 2: mind dropping by or shooting a very long video about
- 39:52Speaker 2: these awful friends. Dimitri help me with it. Come on,
- 39:56Speaker 2: let's go one or two point seven Kiss FM. Let's
- 39:59Speaker 2: go do it for us. We're going to roll out.
