- 0:01Speaker 1: The Hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on Radio Holdarchy.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Pink Floyd there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show.
- 0:10Speaker 2: But right now it's time for.
- 0:14Speaker 3: We're up to brewery.
- 0:21Speaker 4: That's right, Brewery of the day every single day and
- 0:24Speaker 4: the lead up to Beer Vanner and Wellington which is
- 0:26Speaker 4: this Friday and Setney. By the way, we feature a
- 0:28Speaker 4: different brewery from around New Zealand.
- 0:30Speaker 5: Today it was one from Australia, that's right, remember that.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Yeah that was last week. Whilst today we're off to
- 0:36Speaker 4: Beautiful Sunny Feelers.
- 0:38Speaker 5: Oh Sunny Feelings again.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Joking, we're off to beautiful Dunedin Fellers, Beautiful Dunedin for
- 0:45Speaker 4: Emerson's Brewery.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Yeah, we're same.
- 0:49Speaker 4: We've actually done a live show from there.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Yes, it it was very good. It was a biggie yeah,
- 0:53Speaker 5: yeah at the door.
- 0:54Speaker 4: In nineteen ninety two, after spending a year in Edinburgh
- 0:57Speaker 4: and experiencing beers overseas, Richard Emerson was in Spo to
- 1:00Speaker 4: try to create the same variety and quality back home
- 1:02Speaker 4: in New Zealand. He being profoundly deaf from birth, you
- 1:07Speaker 4: found that brewing was something that he could do and
- 1:09Speaker 4: do well. Wow, interesting, isn't it? With his heightened sense
- 1:12Speaker 4: of smell.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Has written as well, or written a book or something.
- 1:15Speaker 4: But flavor and aroma became central to his beers in
- 1:18Speaker 4: the Emerson's way of doing things. Emerson's Brewer is now
- 1:20Speaker 4: an icon of craft brewing Indoneeda and across New Zealand.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Go and taste a golden drop of Emerson's finest at
- 1:27Speaker 4: Beavana this Friday and Saturday.
- 1:28Speaker 5: The use of the adjective profoundly it was only often
- 1:32Speaker 5: used in two cases. One there profoundly deaf, and the
- 1:36Speaker 5: other would be to be profoundly moved. Otherwise you don't
- 1:39Speaker 5: really use profoundly. It's it's a really interesting observation. I'm
- 1:43Speaker 5: trying to think.
- 1:45Speaker 2: There's times when when I am profoundly sickened.
- 1:49Speaker 5: M Is it a term you use though?
- 1:51Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:52Speaker 5: Is it?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:53Speaker 4: Like a picture Jason using that way a regular term
- 1:56Speaker 4: would probably do the trick.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Oh, certainly, I am a profoundly second by right?
- 2:04Speaker 4: No, okay, there are still tickets available for beer Vanna
- 2:07Speaker 4: by the way, Beervanner dot co dot insid.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Kidding what is going on in this country? Man? Honestly?
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I know your beavanner dot co dot inzid get
- 2:19Speaker 4: amongst it, and we'll see you there on the Friday,
- 2:21Speaker 4: the Friday morning session. I believe we'll be tagging along
- 2:23Speaker 4: and haven't we look around.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that Friday morning session is going to be quite interesting,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I suggest.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, especially after the Thursday RVO session.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah that so, yeah, we'll be right, we'll be right.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You and me, brother six Queens and stone A Jason.
- 2:40Speaker 1: All right, The Hdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on radio.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Hold ike, easty boys there on the radio, holdankey, big show.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Let's give out some advice with meat. Patty nep sixty nine.
- 2:59Speaker 4: At dot com In Touch with the Failers. For those
- 3:03Speaker 4: who don't know why it's called that, the audience voted
- 3:06Speaker 4: on what our email address should be, and it's a
- 3:08Speaker 4: real email. Meet Patti nips sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Get in touch with any advice on anything, one hundred
- 3:13Speaker 4: percent anonymous, and if we read it, you get a
- 3:15Speaker 4: fifty dollars reburg of voucher good Fellers. This one comes
- 3:18Speaker 4: from a non emoss Ah get a feels need your
- 3:24Speaker 4: wisdom on a situation that's spiraling into surreal territory. Our
- 3:27Speaker 4: neighbour appears to be running a full blown car yard
- 3:30Speaker 4: out in his front lawn and the surrounding street. I
- 3:33Speaker 4: counted at least seventeen vehicles yesterday, and I'm pretty sure
- 3:36Speaker 4: one of them was a hearse. The council came by,
- 3:38Speaker 4: I ticketed a few, which he accepted like parking medals
- 3:41Speaker 4: of honor, but nothing's moved. Our driveway access now requires
- 3:44Speaker 4: tactical maneuvers and possibly a forklift. Also, while I was
- 3:48Speaker 4: reverse parking between a ninety eight Corolla on Swapper Crates
- 3:52Speaker 4: and what I think used to be a boat, I
- 3:54Speaker 4: glanced at his lounge window and saw him watching filth
- 3:56Speaker 4: on his flat screen. He was watching some of the
- 3:59Speaker 4: look like it was banned at least twelve countries, full
- 4:02Speaker 4: volume curtains wide open, and I don't know whether to
- 4:04Speaker 4: call the council or a priest. Any thoughts on what
- 4:07Speaker 4: we can do? Cheers, there's a tough one.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Geez, well, you just couldn't make you know, you just
- 4:14Speaker 5: got to make friends with them. That kind of cool
- 4:15Speaker 5: can rub off on you. So I would recommend just
- 4:19Speaker 5: have a barbecue, get him over and just yeah, man,
- 4:22Speaker 5: I'm assuming he's wanted him to make mates of them.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Is that the idea is specific. He isn't specific about
- 4:26Speaker 5: what he's wanting.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Because I thought this is probably my bad. I thought
- 4:29Speaker 4: he was trying to get the guy to stop watching
- 4:31Speaker 4: porn and also clean up all the cars that are everywhere.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Why do you do that?
- 4:34Speaker 3: It's an interesting thing.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I've got that very scenario in my place, except my
- 4:39Speaker 2: my neighbor has four caravans.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Yeah, and you have to watch your pawn on your phone.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, parked right on our fence line, and so I do.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And I have to turn the chair a certain way
- 4:49Speaker 2: when I'm watching the pawn.
- 4:50Speaker 3: On my phone. So you have it like it's on
- 4:53Speaker 3: your phone because you know he took.
- 4:56Speaker 4: So you're watching it on your phone, and you've got
- 4:58Speaker 4: a specific cheer that you said. And even though it's
- 5:01Speaker 4: on your phone, you could do that anywhere.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I have a filth chair.
- 5:04Speaker 3: It's my pawn cheer.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Where is it like in the lounge.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yes, but you see he can see straight through the
- 5:11Speaker 2: French doors when he's tourtuling with his caravans, and it's
- 5:14Speaker 2: angled in a certain way that when I'm enjoying the
- 5:17Speaker 2: pawn on my pawn chair, he could see directly, so
- 5:21Speaker 2: I had to just skew it.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Yeah, right, because.
- 5:24Speaker 3: We don't have curtains there, right.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I just feel he should change while you're doing it.
- 5:28Speaker 4: But getting back to the guy with all the cars.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah, lucky guy. He must be rich. Seventeen cars one
- 5:34Speaker 5: of them?
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Man, sounds like they're all kind of crap though,
- 5:37Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Oh he wasn't clear about that, was he. I mean,
- 5:40Speaker 5: this guy sounds like a jealous you know what he
- 5:41Speaker 5: sounds like. Man, he sounds like a nosy neighbor. Really,
- 5:44Speaker 5: this guy, the guy who's emailed us in right, Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 5: he's moaning about a guy who's got seventeen cars and
- 5:49Speaker 5: just dominates it in his lounge room. Like this guy's
- 5:53Speaker 5: tacking all the boxes for me.
- 5:55Speaker 3: He should just keep his massive beak out of it.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yes, he sounds like he's got a massive beak. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 4: he's got a huge god nice honker mate eezy.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I think he should move out because he's bringing down
- 6:06Speaker 5: this guy who's written us the email, because he's bringing
- 6:08Speaker 5: down the vibe of the street.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you move out, man and go get a
- 6:13Speaker 4: nose job.
- 6:17Speaker 1: The Hdiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 6:20Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Hodach Matella on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. Now,
- 6:27Speaker 2: before that, we were talking about how we dress like
- 6:29Speaker 2: tramps at home, and I just had an epiphany, Mogi.
- 6:32Speaker 2: You know, because I wear my ug boots. My trackie
- 6:35Speaker 2: pants are full of holes, no undies. They probably stink
- 6:38Speaker 2: because I never washed some gross old t shirts and
- 6:41Speaker 2: gross old sweatshirts.
- 6:42Speaker 3: No wonder my wife never wants to touch me, you
- 6:45Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Like I come to work, I'm snappy, I'm styling, I'm on.
- 6:49Speaker 4: And everyone here and.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Everyone here is all over me. And at home, no,
- 6:53Speaker 2: I wants a bar of me. And I've just put
- 6:55Speaker 2: two and two together, so you reckon.
- 6:57Speaker 4: It's the clothes.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well, it makes sense, doesn't that, because I make no
- 7:00Speaker 2: with it. My hairs all over the place. I don't shower.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 7:05Speaker 3: What I mean? What are you running at home?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Kiezy, m I'm running. I have a perfectly matching green
- 7:12Speaker 4: track suit, sweet sweet switch shirt material. It's a green hoodie.
- 7:16Speaker 4: I wear it here sometimes and I have matching Bunnings. No,
- 7:19Speaker 4: I sometimes wear a Bunning's trade switch pants stole it
- 7:27Speaker 4: off the brick for show. By the way, No, I
- 7:28Speaker 4: have a matching green switcher and pants combo, and I
- 7:31Speaker 4: have some fluffy woolen socks. I also have a matching
- 7:34Speaker 4: gray tracksuit pants and switch at combo, and once a
- 7:37Speaker 4: week I will swap them out and wash the other one.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, And that's so that's what I.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Wear at home. And it's it's all on a fantastic condition,
- 7:44Speaker 4: doesn't have stains and stuff on it.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It looks like I just it's just the matching part
- 7:48Speaker 2: of it that I find a bit, you know, sort
- 7:51Speaker 2: of love putting right the idea that you've got a
- 7:54Speaker 2: matching track suit.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Well, a lot of people taxing it on three four
- 7:57Speaker 4: eight three, which is good. Hey, guys, your song's about
- 8:00Speaker 4: to front. It's all out of sequence. This doesn't sound
- 8:02Speaker 4: like Metallica. It sounds like the chilis the funkiest Metallica IV.
- 8:06Speaker 4: But that's good. People really getting in. Someone calling us tosses,
- 8:11Speaker 4: which is good as well.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Yeah night, Yeah, yeah, Jack.
- 8:14Speaker 4: What were you hoping for in terms of my dress?
- 8:16Speaker 3: You know, I was.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Thinking that you might be the sort of person that
- 8:19Speaker 2: had like different shoes for different parts of the house,
- 8:21Speaker 2: like you'd have bathroom shoes, bedroom shoes. I could see
- 8:25Speaker 2: you getting home from work and getting into your loung shoes.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I don't wear shoes inside shoes.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I mean like your slippers.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I don't wear slippers because you guys love slippers. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 4: you love slippers. Slippers, Yeah, I hate them.
- 8:37Speaker 5: But also I've been living in a cold house for
- 8:39Speaker 5: quite a long time until recently, and they're so snugly. Jason,
- 8:44Speaker 5: You've got warm feet, man, You're happy? Yeah? Happy man?
- 8:47Speaker 4: Where is it my house? Literally? The socks I'm wearing now,
- 8:49Speaker 4: which are just standard cotton socks, they're more than enough
- 8:52Speaker 4: to keep my feet is warm your feet?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 4: When you guys sit on the couch and watch something,
- 8:57Speaker 4: do you have a blanky?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Ah?
- 9:00Speaker 5: I did last week in because I was hangover, But
- 9:02Speaker 5: you don't do it, but generally I don't.
- 9:04Speaker 3: My wife does. Shere's two blankies.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah right, well I have, Well, my wife has a
- 9:08Speaker 4: blanking this sometimes I'll come over and then just share
- 9:10Speaker 4: it with it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I've got my little snug snugly blankie, which is when
- 9:13Speaker 2: I'm sucking my thumb.
- 9:14Speaker 4: When do you use that?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Just when I get home and I'm just chilling out
- 9:17Speaker 3: on the couch.
- 9:17Speaker 5: When you come home, do you actually do you take
- 9:20Speaker 5: your shoes off and put on your agg boots? Yes? Right,
- 9:23Speaker 5: I think I'm going to. I think I'm going to
- 9:24Speaker 5: start doing that because I don't do that.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Do wear socks with them?
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yes?
- 9:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:30Speaker 4: Okay good, they'd be absolutely disgusting. Yeah yeah, Hey fellas.
