- 0:05Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Richard Sherman Podcast. This off season
- 0:08Speaker 1: has been incredible. A lot of action, but the FIFA
- 0:11Speaker 1: World Cup Metchell USA the most goal since like nineteen
- 0:15Speaker 1: thirty they're rolling. The energy around Seattle has been incredible.
- 0:19Speaker 1: People are so excited. It's great to see the world
- 0:22Speaker 1: come together, other countries getting to experience America and the
- 0:26Speaker 1: culture from different places. His different places. I saw the
- 0:31Speaker 1: Japanese fans in Houston going crazy. I saw the Bosnians
- 0:35Speaker 1: in La walking down the street. What are you thinking
- 0:38Speaker 1: about all this, Richard?
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's a cool site. And man, I was one of
- 0:41Speaker 2: those guys. I flew into Seattle to meet up with
- 0:43Speaker 2: you last week and I had no freaking clue that
- 0:46Speaker 2: the FIFA World Cup was playing in Seattle till I
- 0:48Speaker 2: even got there. And then you just see everything everywhere,
- 0:51Speaker 2: people going nuts. You gotta love to see it, Man,
- 0:53Speaker 2: for the USA to be playing as good as they are,
- 0:56Speaker 2: I tell you what to football man? Is that the
- 1:00Speaker 2: real football Richard? That might be a question for another day.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Some would argue that it is.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Much much, much, much much much different days.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Well yeah, so, I mean the soccer fanatics out there,
- 1:10Speaker 2: it's a great time to be a live FIFA World
- 1:11Speaker 2: Cup in the US.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Richard.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Let's get to American football though. That's what that's what
- 1:16Speaker 2: our listeners want to hear about. And I want to
- 1:19Speaker 2: start it out talking about the San Francisco forty nine
- 1:22Speaker 2: ers and specifically Brandon Ayuk. This is a guy that
- 1:26Speaker 2: begged and pleted for a new contract. He got just that,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and then everything just seemed to go downhill from there. Richard,
- 1:35Speaker 2: what do you make of this whole Brandon Ayuk situation.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It's unfortunate, but it didn't start there. It started at
- 1:44Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. It probably started even before the Super Bowl.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Receivers are very incredible, interesting, but sometimes you know, it's
- 1:55Speaker 1: a fragility there in terms of, you know, how you
- 2:00Speaker 1: deal with the psychology of the receivers on your team
- 2:03Speaker 1: and how to make everybody happy. And on a team
- 2:05Speaker 1: like San Francisco forty nine ers with an All Pro
- 2:08Speaker 1: tighty end an Offensive Player of the Year in the backfield,
- 2:11Speaker 1: you had dee Bo Samuel. It's hard and Brandon Ayuk
- 2:15Speaker 1: only one football, so hard to get a football to
- 2:18Speaker 1: everybody at the same time. But Brandon Ayuk was the
- 2:20Speaker 1: highest targeted guy. He had thirteen hundred yards. He would
- 2:23Speaker 1: tell you he probably could have dealt with fifty more
- 2:25Speaker 1: targets and really been a top five receiver in the
- 2:28Speaker 1: National Football League. That's what he believes, and I think
- 2:30Speaker 1: that's what the San Francisco forty nine ers believe. That's
- 2:32Speaker 1: time and what I believe happened was Brandon Ayuk played
- 2:40Speaker 1: well in the Super Bowl and created separation and felt
- 2:42Speaker 1: like he was open a lot more than he got
- 2:44Speaker 1: the ball. He felt like he individual league could have
- 2:47Speaker 1: impacted that game in a greater way and helped them
- 2:50Speaker 1: win a Super Bowl. Especially, I mean even the play
- 2:53Speaker 1: where Brock gets sacked at the end by Chris Jones
- 2:55Speaker 1: because of a blown assignment on the offensive line. He
- 2:58Speaker 1: was wide open and ran a great route. It would
- 3:02Speaker 1: have been there. It would have been there whether you
- 3:03Speaker 1: hit him or Juwan Jennings. Either way, they would have
- 3:06Speaker 1: won that game. And I think as a player sometimes
- 3:09Speaker 1: that eats at you. You know, you're talking about a
- 3:11Speaker 1: guy who watched our quarterback throw a Super Bowl away
- 3:14Speaker 1: and you're just sitting there like, ah, you know, ah
- 3:16Speaker 1: that it eats at you, and it eats at you
- 3:18Speaker 1: for a long time. And so once you get to
- 3:21Speaker 1: that point, you have to make a decision that offseason.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know what I mean, is the bitterness and resentment
- 3:27Speaker 1: and frustration gonna eat at you to the point where
- 3:29Speaker 1: you need to go somewhere else where you need to
- 3:31Speaker 1: play somewhere else or are you gonna be able to
- 3:35Speaker 1: to flush it, you know, deal with the trauma of it,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and be able to play football and get your help
- 3:42Speaker 1: get your team back to where they were before. And
- 3:45Speaker 1: I think that was hard for Brandon Ayuk. I think
- 3:48Speaker 1: the frustration, the bitterness, the anger, the resentment, you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: all those feelings kind of festered that offseason and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: comes the contract, Then comes the trade rumors and everything
- 4:02Speaker 1: that came with that situation. Now that's where I'm in
- 4:06Speaker 1: a bit of a disagreement. If you're that frustrated with
- 4:08Speaker 1: the team and you don't feel like the relationship can
- 4:12Speaker 1: be can be healed, can you know, can be amicable.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You got to accept the trade. You got to say, hey,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I don't think I can come back like it's too much,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I just can't can't come
- 4:27Speaker 1: back here. I think it's too much hurt, too much frustration.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I Gotta go somewhere else and just get a fresh
- 4:31Speaker 1: start and try again somewhere else. But when you agree
- 4:35Speaker 1: to the contract and you sign and you say, hey,
- 4:39Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty million dollars like I'm a forty
- 4:42Speaker 1: nine er, at that point you got to buy back in.
- 4:45Speaker 1: At that point, you have to buy back in. And
- 4:47Speaker 1: I don't think Brandon and I you ever bought back in.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I think the bitterness, the resentment, the frustration, the anger
- 4:55Speaker 1: just kept eating away at him. And even after he
- 4:59Speaker 1: got paid, I think the disrespect that he felt from
- 5:03Speaker 1: not getting paid initially kept going and kept eating at it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And when that happens, Metro, it's hard. It's hard. Like
- 5:10Speaker 1: Christi shar used to always tell us, because I used to,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you know, be frustrated. All of us got a little
- 5:14Speaker 1: bit of that frustration in us at times, you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: regardless of whatever happens, and you got to carve it out.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You got to carve it out of your heart because
- 5:20Speaker 1: it'll eat away at you. It'll affect your performance, it'll
- 5:22Speaker 1: affect your health, it'll affect everything. And unfortunately he gets
- 5:26Speaker 1: hurt that season a few games into the season, and
- 5:30Speaker 1: that with everything else that was already festering and growing
- 5:35Speaker 1: and cultivating, it's a recipe for disaster. And then you
- 5:42Speaker 1: go into an injury, a dark place with an injury
- 5:45Speaker 1: and a rehab and all the things that come with
- 5:48Speaker 1: rehabbing an injury on top of that, and it's really
- 5:52Speaker 1: a recipe for exactly what you're seeing. You know, a
- 5:56Speaker 1: bit of an implosion, a bit of a lash out,
- 5:59Speaker 1: like like not knowing which direction to go and how
- 6:01Speaker 1: to get out of this situation. You know, a bit
- 6:04Speaker 1: of pride coming in where you just you don't you
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't know how to get out of this situation, but
- 6:10Speaker 1: you know you should be out of this situation. You
- 6:12Speaker 1: know you want to be somewhere else, but it's almost
- 6:14Speaker 1: too late, and you kind of boxed yourself into a hole.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And now you gotta you gotta get reinstated back into
- 6:20Speaker 1: the NFL, so you have to apply for reinstatement. And
- 6:23Speaker 1: I think that's a bit of humility that I don't
- 6:25Speaker 1: think Brandon and how you wants to deal with right now.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And I know there's all these commanders, fans and all
- 6:29Speaker 1: these influencers, and everybody has an opinion of what he
- 6:32Speaker 1: should do. And oh, the forty nine ers ended many
- 6:35Speaker 1: camp because of Brandon, and I you they didn't. They
- 6:37Speaker 1: weren't thinking about it because he can't come back even
- 6:39Speaker 1: if he wanted to. He can't just show up to
- 6:40Speaker 1: the facility. He's not a he's not on an NFL roster.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He's on a did not show up list. You can't
- 6:46Speaker 1: just show up to you. You might as well be
- 6:48Speaker 1: a fan at that point. You cannot just show up.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You're a stranger. It's gonna be that that uh, that
- 6:53Speaker 1: meme of a who was it Jamal Jamal Adams when
- 6:57Speaker 1: he went to the when he went to the Jets
- 6:59Speaker 1: facility and he couldn't get in. That's what it's gonna
- 7:02Speaker 1: be until he gets reinstated, and then there are a
- 7:05Speaker 1: couple other steps that everybody has to agree to. And
- 7:09Speaker 1: when that happens, I think the forty nine ers will
- 7:11Speaker 1: likely release him because they wouldn't want him to come
- 7:14Speaker 1: back in the building. They wouldn't want to deal with that,
- 7:16Speaker 1: They wouldn't want to deal with that headache. But he
- 7:18Speaker 1: has to do that first, and then on top of that,
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's not like the forty nine ers did something horribly
- 7:27Speaker 1: wrong by Brandon Ayuk. In my personal opinion, and I
- 7:31Speaker 1: know a lot of the background and everything that went on.
- 7:33Speaker 1: His frustration was I didn't get the ball enough. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't think they respect me in the way I think
- 7:39Speaker 1: I deserve to be respected. And then the Super Bowl,
- 7:44Speaker 1: everything that went on in the Super Bowl just kind
- 7:47Speaker 1: of ate at him. So once you get to this point,
- 7:50Speaker 1: now everybody's like, well, what if the forty nine ers
- 7:52Speaker 1: do to him they disrespected him? They didn't. And then
- 7:55Speaker 1: you got Leshan McCoy's like, man, we needed somebody to
- 7:58Speaker 1: fight the power like this. I don't know, Shady, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know if I agree with that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Because they paid them thirty million dollars to catch the football,
- 8:08Speaker 1: they played them thirty million dollars to show up to
- 8:10Speaker 1: play receiver for the San Francisco forty nine ers. Not
- 8:13Speaker 1: be owned, not be anything like it. It's goods and services.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You get paid for your services. You have to provide
- 8:21Speaker 1: the services like. You don't get to just get paid
- 8:23Speaker 1: and say I'm not gonna play receiver. I'm just gonna chill.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm just gonna do whatever I want. You don't get
- 8:28Speaker 1: to get paid and then say hey, I'm not gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: rehab with the team, which is fine, which is perfectly fine.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You cannot rehab with the team. Many players have done it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: But if you do that, you have to show up
- 8:39Speaker 1: four days earlier than everybody else Mitchell four days. If
- 8:44Speaker 1: everybody else has show up on the twenty third, you
- 8:46Speaker 1: have to show up on the nineteenth. You know why
- 8:48Speaker 1: because the team that invested thirty million dollars a year
- 8:52Speaker 1: in you wants to evaluate you and see how your
- 8:55Speaker 1: rehab has gone. They want to do MRIs, they want
- 8:58Speaker 1: to do testing, and they want to do it at
- 8:59Speaker 1: a time that ninety other players aren't there so they
- 9:02Speaker 1: can really focus on you. So all the doctors can
- 9:05Speaker 1: show you true attention and focus and give you the
- 9:09Speaker 1: care and the understanding that you need so that they
- 9:11Speaker 1: can truly understand where you're at in your process. Not
- 9:14Speaker 1: because they want to just screw Brandon Aye. You know,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you haven't rehabbed here. We have no idea where you are.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You haven't updated us at all. So if you could
- 9:22Speaker 1: show up four days early, which is protocol standard for
- 9:25Speaker 1: anybody who hasn't rehabbed at the facility, and it's perfectly fine.
- 9:30Speaker 1: He didn't do that, so they find him every day
- 9:33Speaker 1: he didn't show up, which is four days fifty thousand
- 9:37Speaker 1: dollars a day, mentell you you're great at math, and
- 9:40Speaker 1: then he gave him an avenue to avoid his guarantees.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That's what happened. And now instead of showing up four
- 9:47Speaker 1: days early and just get getting the evaluation, getting the physical,
- 9:51Speaker 1: doing everything you have to do, and just hey, going
- 9:53Speaker 1: about your business, if he go win Hi about his business, Mitchell,
- 9:56Speaker 1: he'd be thirty million dollars richer. They'd be on a hook.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Even if he didn't want to play for the San
- 10:00Speaker 1: Francisco forty nine ers, he'd be like, hey, I showed up,
- 10:03Speaker 1: did what I needed to do, was a pro about it, Like,
- 10:05Speaker 1: get me out of here, trade me please, even if
- 10:07Speaker 1: I have to renegotiate and rehash my contract out with
- 10:10Speaker 1: the next team. I don't want to be here. I
- 10:12Speaker 1: think that could have happened. But when you don't show
- 10:15Speaker 1: up and then everything is a fight, and then you
- 10:18Speaker 1: don't rehab, like you put yourself behind the eight ball
- 10:20Speaker 1: and it's hard to get out of that. And so
- 10:22Speaker 1: now we're in this situation where everybody's like they shouldn't
- 10:27Speaker 1: just hold on to him. Well, they're gonna do what's
- 10:29Speaker 1: best for them. They're gonna do what's best for their
- 10:31Speaker 1: franchise in terms of the opponents. They're gonna see how
- 10:38Speaker 1: they're gonna play this season, cap situation, everything, and at
- 10:43Speaker 1: some point they'll release him. If he shows up and
- 10:46Speaker 1: gets reinstated and forces their hand. I'm sure that he'll
- 10:49Speaker 1: get released that day, and maybe the Washington Commanders pick
- 10:52Speaker 1: him up, and ap Adam Peters, who was with San
- 10:55Speaker 1: Francisco when they drafted BA, is gonna pick him up,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and it's gonna be a great relationship. But once you
- 11:01Speaker 1: get into this place, it's hard to get out of
- 11:03Speaker 1: this mode. So even if you get to Washington, what
- 11:06Speaker 1: happens when when the ball doesn't go his way a
- 11:08Speaker 1: couple of times when things aren't going well and and
- 11:11Speaker 1: hey they're not targeting are they doubling him? And he
- 11:13Speaker 1: gets frustrated, like it can go real bad, real fast.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And I think that's what George was saying, like, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: don't know if you guys fully understand, like it's not
- 11:21Speaker 1: all peaches and cream. And that's my saying on him, Richard.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's mind boggling to me. I mean, it's absolutely mind boggling.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's early reminiscent of the Antonio Brown situation with the
- 11:34Speaker 2: Raiders years ago. The only difference is Brandon Ayuk really
- 11:37Speaker 2: hasn't established a legacy. I mean Antonio Brown, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 2: arguably Hall of Famer going into his tenure with the
- 11:44Speaker 2: Raiders and then he has the breakdown that was seen
- 11:47Speaker 2: on Hard Knocks. The difference is Brandon Ayuk. Yeah. This
- 11:51Speaker 2: is where common sense comes in and my question marks
- 11:53Speaker 2: start to arise with who's who's helping advising him, who's
- 11:57Speaker 2: in his corner saying, hey, the way you're thinking is
- 11:59Speaker 2: right because the reasonable person to me wouldn't be thinking
- 12:03Speaker 2: this way. I get it, you didn't get paid on
- 12:05Speaker 2: time like you wanted to. But common sense comes into
- 12:08Speaker 2: play here. You're playing for a team chasing a title
- 12:11Speaker 2: that's got a number, a number a slew of Pro bowlers,
- 12:16Speaker 2: all pros on this team you got, you already listed
- 12:18Speaker 2: them off. But Trent Williams the linebacking corps, I mean
- 12:22Speaker 2: other wide receivers, Deebo like you said, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Common sense, you're next man up, you will get taken
- 12:31Speaker 2: care of. John Lynch has shown time and time and
- 12:34Speaker 2: time again with this franchise that he takes care of
- 12:37Speaker 2: his guys, the ones that he wants to be their
- 12:39Speaker 2: long term. So, like you said, you get your money,
- 12:41Speaker 2: you get your one hundred and thirty million dollars and
- 12:44Speaker 2: it's almost like, okay, thanks, I'll take that. I'm done.
- 12:46Speaker 2: And Richard, it's so mind boggling to me. So the question,
- 12:50Speaker 2: like you just said, so now this now Brandon and
- 12:53Speaker 2: Ike's gonna have a label on him, and it's gonna
- 12:55Speaker 2: it's on him to overcome the label that he put
- 12:58Speaker 2: on himself. He's a gigantic question mark, no question. He
- 13:01Speaker 2: is talented. But Richard is twenty eight years old. He's
- 13:04Speaker 2: on the he's on the back end of his prime
- 13:07Speaker 2: right now. And when you're on Instagram or whatever social
- 13:11Speaker 2: media platform, y'all and go commanders. Man, I just got
- 13:15Speaker 2: to wonder who's calling and saying, dude, put the phone down.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You gotta focus on your business. You got to focus
- 13:22Speaker 2: on your legacy. At this point, Richard, there's so many
- 13:25Speaker 2: question marks going on here. That's my take as well.
- 13:28Speaker 2: It's a wild scene in San Francisco. But it's really
- 13:31Speaker 2: I gotta say they're better off without being.
- 13:33Speaker 1: A yeah, I mean, they have to be better off
- 13:37Speaker 1: right now. It's just unfortunate because, uh, you know, at
- 13:40Speaker 1: his best, when when things are great, he's a good
- 13:42Speaker 1: he's a good human being. He's a great player. He's
- 13:45Speaker 1: really athletic. But we haven't seen him on the field
- 13:47Speaker 1: outside of a few warm ups pre game and things
- 13:49Speaker 1: like that in almost two years. So that matters. Like
- 13:54Speaker 1: you're coming off in a cl I understand you can
- 13:56Speaker 1: run a few routes and and and you know, look
- 13:58Speaker 1: fast in the pregame warm up. But I wish he
- 14:02Speaker 1: was putting workout videos out there. I think he'd be signed,
- 14:05Speaker 1: cut and signed right now because the team or a
- 14:07Speaker 1: team would be like, oh my god, he looks just
- 14:09Speaker 1: like he did before, Like put the put the tape
- 14:13Speaker 1: out there, Let the tape speak, like put yourself out there.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Instead of getting frustrated and calling the forty nine or
- 14:20Speaker 1: stupid for paying you and going on these rants which
- 14:23Speaker 1: which don't really make sense to everybody. It shows you're frustrated,
- 14:27Speaker 1: which some people can understand and people are trying to
- 14:29Speaker 1: give them benefit of the doubt. But if you just
- 14:32Speaker 1: put workout videos out there, catching the football, being explosive,
- 14:35Speaker 1: being the player that you were before the injury, I
- 14:39Speaker 1: think teams would watch those and say, hmm, that's what
- 14:41Speaker 1: we need that the Washington Commanders for once, they need
- 14:44Speaker 1: an explosive receiver. You're gonna be a one. You're gonna
- 14:47Speaker 1: be a pro. You're gonna come out here and help
- 14:48Speaker 1: your your friend Jayden Daniels out. They would probably love that,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and it probably put more teams in the mix. But
- 14:57Speaker 1: when you're doing things that make it seem like, hey,
- 15:01Speaker 1: he's kind of off his rocker a little bit, he's
- 15:03Speaker 1: kind of he's gonna be an issue. It's not helping anybody.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So I'm just hoping that he gets it together and
- 15:09Speaker 1: he starts posting workout videos. He started putting himself out
- 15:12Speaker 1: there and showing that hey, I'm a pro, I just
- 15:14Speaker 1: want to play football. I just want to go out
- 15:16Speaker 1: there and play the game I love. And even with
- 15:20Speaker 1: the money, it's gonna take him a second to even
- 15:22Speaker 1: be able to earn the kind of money he was
- 15:23Speaker 1: trying he was set to earn this season and next season,
- 15:27Speaker 1: like it's gonna even if he was able to. If
- 15:29Speaker 1: he goes out there for the Commanders hypothetically and has
- 15:33Speaker 1: a twelve hundred yard season with ten touchdowns, maybe they
- 15:37Speaker 1: give him a great deal next year, maybe they pay
- 15:39Speaker 1: him thirty but they wouldn't have to. Like, but that'll
- 15:43Speaker 1: give you a chance. But you know, it's so many
- 15:46Speaker 1: things that go into that, so it's a tough situation
- 15:49Speaker 1: for everybody involved. I think the Niners have handled it
- 15:52Speaker 1: about as solid as you can as an organization. I
- 15:56Speaker 1: think he could have acquitted himself a little better. He
- 15:59Speaker 1: could have forced their hands a little bit better if
- 16:01Speaker 1: he just showed up. You know, there's so many things
- 16:04Speaker 1: that people are like, Man, why don't they do this?
- 16:06Speaker 1: This should just let him go. He could just make
- 16:08Speaker 1: them let him go. He could just be a pro
- 16:10Speaker 1: show up. Hey, i'm doing my rehab here. I don't
- 16:13Speaker 1: want to be here. I'm showing up. Let's get this
- 16:15Speaker 1: thing together so we can both wash our hands of
- 16:18Speaker 1: it and be done. But that's not what he's doing.
- 16:21Speaker 3: It's wild.

- 17:58Speaker 2: Richard, Let's stands at division speaking a wild We saw
- 18:01Speaker 2: a team the LA Rams f them picks. Rams is
- 18:05Speaker 2: back into full swing. They go ahead and trade for
- 18:08Speaker 2: Miles Garrett, arguably the best defensive player in football, certainly
- 18:12Speaker 2: the best defensive end. They give up Jared Verse, you know,
- 18:15Speaker 2: a promising young star who's already made a name for
- 18:18Speaker 2: himself in this league. A first round pick, second round pick,
- 18:21Speaker 2: third round pick. How much of a big deal is
- 18:25Speaker 2: this for the La Rams and for the rest of
- 18:27Speaker 2: the NFL. With this acquisition of Miles Garrett.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's a huge deal because you have a generational player
- 18:40Speaker 1: being added to a team that was a super Bowl
- 18:43Speaker 1: contender last season, was probably a player a couple of
- 18:45Speaker 1: plays away from being in the super Bowl. Last season,
- 18:49Speaker 1: they lost to a Seattle team that that some people
- 18:52Speaker 1: said they were more talented then, and and that's a
- 18:55Speaker 1: weird That was a weird dialogue after the game and
- 18:57Speaker 1: even this offseason where people are like, yeah, you know,
- 19:00Speaker 1: the Rams, even before this trade, the Rams are the
- 19:02Speaker 1: favorites this year. It's like, I don't know, I don't know.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I saw the Rams team pretty healthy lose to Matt Jones,
- 19:08Speaker 1: and and our our guy KB had thirteen catches. Niners
- 19:14Speaker 1: beat him at home with a pretty healthy team, And
- 19:17Speaker 1: so it's in this NFC West, anything is possible. I
- 19:21Speaker 1: don't know. In my mind. I think it's gonna be
- 19:24Speaker 1: a tough game for them in Australia first game of
- 19:27Speaker 1: the season. I think it's just Kyle and McVeigh. It's
- 19:30Speaker 1: something there. And even with Miles Garrett, I think it's
- 19:33Speaker 1: gonna be a dogfight. I think he's an incredible player.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I think he's going to be incredibly impactful. But I
- 19:39Speaker 1: think Jared Verst was incredibly impactful. He's not Miles Garrett.
- 19:42Speaker 1: We're not gonna argue that. But it's not going from
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know, an average to below average player to a
- 19:49Speaker 1: generational player. It's going from a Pro Bowl caliber, probably
- 19:53Speaker 1: borderline All Pro player to a Hall of Famer, you
- 19:57Speaker 1: know what I mean. It's it's probably a gap, but
- 19:59Speaker 1: it's not it's not a great gap, and I think
- 20:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be great for them. I think the McDuffie
- 20:06Speaker 1: acquisition is gonna be good. I think the Watson acquisition
- 20:09Speaker 1: is gonna be good. But if you just think about
- 20:12Speaker 1: those matchups, McDuffie on Mike Evans consistently, and I think
- 20:17Speaker 1: that's gonna be It would make more sense to put
- 20:19Speaker 1: Watson on him, but you know, I don't know if
- 20:22Speaker 1: that's what the Rams are gonna do. You're paying mcduffey
- 20:23Speaker 1: thirty one million dollars. I think you're gonna want him
- 20:25Speaker 1: to cover their best receiver. And then the forty nine
- 20:29Speaker 1: ers going ahead and acquiring Stribbling and just continuing to
- 20:33Speaker 1: solidify that receiving core. I think Mike Evans is gonna
- 20:36Speaker 1: go a long way to mintoring those guys and showing
- 20:39Speaker 1: them how to be pros. But back to the Rams.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I still got Seattle as the Super Bowl favorites in
- 20:46Speaker 1: my opinion, until you beat them, Like I'm not gonna
- 20:48Speaker 1: just knock them off the pedestal. It was just like
- 20:50Speaker 1: last year when I thought they would win the division
- 20:52Speaker 1: at the end of the season, and they did. They
- 20:55Speaker 1: played better, They played really well. They're not going away.
- 20:58Speaker 1: They're a well built team, well coach team. They have
- 21:02Speaker 1: a great scheme. You're not just gonna figure out that scheme.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They've added pieces. They've added Bud Clark to the mix
- 21:11Speaker 1: in that secondary, and he's gonna be even more of
- 21:13Speaker 1: a chess piece for them to use and how they
- 21:16Speaker 1: manipulate nick Em and Worri and Devin Witherspoon, And you're
- 21:20Speaker 1: not gonna know who's anywhere on that defense because you've
- 21:24Speaker 1: got so many parts that can drop into a half field,
- 21:27Speaker 1: drop into the middle of the field, drop into a
- 21:29Speaker 1: hook blitz. And when you have guys who can do
- 21:32Speaker 1: like jobs, it makes it hard for an offense to
- 21:36Speaker 1: get a beat on him. Like, oh, they're gonna they're
- 21:38Speaker 1: going blitz from this direction because Nicki Min Warr's over here,
- 21:41Speaker 1: are Witherspoon's coming from here? And that's what happened in
- 21:43Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. You're like, Nicki Min Warri us the
- 21:46Speaker 1: blitzes in this formation. But Devin Witherspoon, Devin Witherspoon, Devin Witherspoon,
- 21:50Speaker 1: You're like, it's been Devin Witherspoon. Nick looks like he's
- 21:54Speaker 1: gonna blitz, but Devin's been coming Em and Warri, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: And now it's gonna be Bud Clark and his ball
- 21:59Speaker 1: hawking skin. So I still think Seattle offensive line another
- 22:04Speaker 1: year to jail, got better. The running back depth is there.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I think Sam Darnold's gonna have a better year than
- 22:12Speaker 1: he did last year. He led the league in turnovers
- 22:14Speaker 1: and they still won the Super Bowl. Mitchell, he let
- 22:16Speaker 1: the entire league in turnovers throughout the regular season, didn't
- 22:20Speaker 1: have one in the playoffs, and I think he's gonna
- 22:23Speaker 1: maybe he found the answer in those playoffs, and I
- 22:25Speaker 1: think he's gonna continue to be efficient. The relationship and
- 22:28Speaker 1: rapport between him and Jackson Smith and Jigba is only
- 22:31Speaker 1: gonna grow. I just I have a hard time saying
- 22:35Speaker 1: the Super Bowl champions are just gonna be like an
- 22:38Speaker 1: afterthought because of in trade for a great player in
- 22:41Speaker 1: a division that's gonna be a dogfight either way.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I knew you'd have a tough time saying that, Richard,
- 22:46Speaker 2: But I do have a question for you. I don't
- 22:48Speaker 2: want to set you up. Is it fair to say
- 22:51Speaker 2: that the LA Rams are the most improved team in
- 22:54Speaker 2: the NFC West after this offseason?
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yes? Yes, I think you can say that. You added Melton,
- 23:07Speaker 1: Miles Garrett, you added Watson, you added McDuffie. Yeah, I
- 23:11Speaker 1: could say they're the most improved. I don't think the draft.
- 23:16Speaker 1: You know, the draft, they draft their quarterback of the future, allegedly,
- 23:20Speaker 1: But I just I can I can say that they
- 23:24Speaker 1: they're probably the most improved.
- 23:25Speaker 2: This is my point and to combat your argument that
- 23:29Speaker 2: the Seattle Seahawks are the favorite in the NFC West.
- 23:32Speaker 2: You know, I love the Seattle Seahawks. I think they're
- 23:35Speaker 2: a great team. They're certainly well run. The problem I
- 23:38Speaker 2: have right now coming into the season with the Seattle
- 23:40Speaker 2: Seahawks is I think we're overlooking a glaring hole at
- 23:44Speaker 2: the running back position. And you and I talked about
- 23:46Speaker 2: this last week when we were together. You know, you
- 23:48Speaker 2: give up Kenneth Walker, and I get it. You know,
- 23:51Speaker 2: he wasn't the loan back back there. They relied on
- 23:55Speaker 2: him and Jack Zach Charboney. But reality is, when Zach
- 23:58Speaker 2: Charbonay went down, saw the belcow that CA nine can
- 24:01Speaker 2: be tote in the rock in the Super Bowl going
- 24:04Speaker 2: on to win the Super Bowl MVP. I don't know
- 24:06Speaker 2: how far along Zach Charbona is in his recovery. He
- 24:10Speaker 2: got injured late in the season with the ACL. History
- 24:13Speaker 2: tells me that most guys do not just snap back
- 24:16Speaker 2: unless you're Adrian Peterson and come back one hundred percent.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I think there's gonna be some growing pains early in
- 24:22Speaker 2: the season as the Seahawks rely on their rookie Jedarian Price.
- 24:26Speaker 2: That's a huge question mark for this team, Richard. Is
- 24:29Speaker 2: this running game. So what I look at is the
- 24:32Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks big time loss in Canine, whether people want
- 24:35Speaker 2: to recognize it or not. They lose Boie Mafy, and
- 24:38Speaker 2: then you have your rival adding guys like mcduffy, Miles Garrett, etc.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I like the Rams Richard for that reason. I just
- 24:47Speaker 2: think they're improved. I think they can hit you from
- 24:49Speaker 2: all layers, offensively and defensively. I think this tips the
- 24:53Speaker 2: scales for the La Rams. That being said, the Seattle
- 24:57Speaker 2: Seahawks there are still going to be a juggernaut in
- 24:59Speaker 2: the West. I think it's gonna be ultimately a coin
- 25:01Speaker 2: flip in this division.
- 25:02Speaker 1: And I got the Rams, Yeah. I think I think
- 25:04Speaker 1: they believe in Jenderian Price. I think Emanuel Wilson's a
- 25:07Speaker 1: guy they picked up from Green Bay that they think
- 25:10Speaker 1: can can help, you know, assist in that. Even George
- 25:13Speaker 1: Hoilani who got some carries into playoffs and made some
- 25:15Speaker 1: plays for him, I think they feel confident in him.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I don't think it's gonna be as big of an
- 25:20Speaker 1: issue as you think it is Mitchell because that's just
- 25:23Speaker 1: how running back in the National Football League is. You know,
- 25:25Speaker 1: every year there's two or three running backs that come
- 25:28Speaker 1: out of nowhere where you're like, who is this undrafted
- 25:30Speaker 1: guy that's just taken over the league. That's that's you know,
- 25:33Speaker 1: being explosive. And maybe they're not, you know, twelve hundred
- 25:36Speaker 1: and thirteen hundred yard per game, I mean per season players.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But I think they feel like this committee can get
- 25:43Speaker 1: the job done. And I also think they're gonna be
- 25:45Speaker 1: more reliant on their passing game. I think they That's
- 25:48Speaker 1: why they paid Rashid Shaheit, That's why they got Tory Horton,
- 25:51Speaker 1: they still have Cooper Cup. I think they feel really
- 25:54Speaker 1: good about what their passing game can become. And Brian
- 25:57Speaker 1: Floury is gonna for sure use these guys. They're gonna
- 25:59Speaker 1: run the all, no question about it. But I think
- 26:01Speaker 1: they're gonna pass the ball around the yard. You got
- 26:03Speaker 1: the reigning offensive player of the year, no matter how
- 26:06Speaker 1: much the league disrespects him, Jackson Smith and Jigba coming back,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and I think he's gonna continue to be a huge
- 26:11Speaker 1: factor in this offense. They're gonna go as he goes,
- 26:14Speaker 1: but I think I feel good about what their running
- 26:17Speaker 1: game is going to be this season. And also, and
- 26:21Speaker 1: this applies to the San Francisco forty nine ers and
- 26:23Speaker 1: everybody else in the league as well. Health the Rams,
- 26:26Speaker 1: everybody health is going to be a huge factor. That
- 26:29Speaker 1: was the huge question mark going into last season with
- 26:31Speaker 1: Matthew Stafford when he had his back all all season.
- 26:34Speaker 1: The whole conversation was his lower back, could it survived
- 26:37Speaker 1: the season? And he has an MVP season, so I
- 26:40Speaker 1: think he quieted those question marks. But you got to
- 26:42Speaker 1: think again with an older team with older veterans in
- 26:47Speaker 1: major positions. You look at Davonte Adams, Devanta Adams got
- 26:51Speaker 1: a little banged up called a hamstring late in the season.
- 26:53Speaker 1: That changes the dynamic of the team and that's a
- 26:56Speaker 1: big factor. That is a big unknown. You know, if
- 26:59Speaker 1: they one hundred percent healthy throughout the season, these are
- 27:03Speaker 1: all three teams will be in the playoffs and be
- 27:05Speaker 1: competing for a championship. But that's a huge if Let's.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Talk about another trade in another wise quiet offseason for
- 27:12Speaker 2: Mike Frable and this you know New England Patriot team, right,
- 27:18Speaker 2: they make some noise and AJ Brown is acquired right,
- 27:22Speaker 2: they give up a first round pick, a fifth round
- 27:24Speaker 2: pick going back to the Eagles. Let's start on the
- 27:28Speaker 2: Patriots side of the defense here. I mean they needed
- 27:31Speaker 2: a wide receiver desperately. Drake May is coming into his
- 27:35Speaker 2: own when you add aj Brown and then couple that
- 27:38Speaker 2: with the signing of Romeo Dobbs' offseason, and you pair
- 27:41Speaker 2: him with Kai Shan Boody, who was really coming on
- 27:44Speaker 2: late last season at the Mario Douglas. How much do
- 27:47Speaker 2: you like the New England Patriots going into this year?
- 27:50Speaker 2: Do you view them as a contender for the AFC
- 27:54Speaker 2: championship again?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Well, they just they're just playing in the Super Bowl.
- 27:59Speaker 1: In a young quarterback, drink May is one of the
- 28:01Speaker 1: most talented in the National Football League is only going
- 28:03Speaker 1: to continue to improve. A. J. Brown is going to
- 28:05Speaker 1: be a huge part of that. He's going to be
- 28:06Speaker 1: a huge help and boost to his season. But I
- 28:10Speaker 1: think a healthier AFC is going to be a tougher
- 28:15Speaker 1: AFC to go through. They'll definitely be contenders. But if
- 28:18Speaker 1: Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes is healthy, they're gonna still
- 28:21Speaker 1: have to go through them. If if Joe Burrow is
- 28:24Speaker 1: healthy all season, Long. I think Cincinnati is going to
- 28:26Speaker 1: be forced to be reckoned with They're always going to
- 28:29Speaker 1: be able to score points. If they can stop anybody
- 28:32Speaker 1: is a question for them always. And then in Buffalo
- 28:35Speaker 1: you got Josh Allen and the boys are going to
- 28:37Speaker 1: continue to be competitive within their own division. So I
- 28:42Speaker 1: think this is a fantastic trade. I think A. J.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles feel great about everything that
- 28:48Speaker 1: he did and everything that they were able to accomplish
- 28:50Speaker 1: when he was there. Multiple super Bowls, a super Bowl championship,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I think you'd call that a fantastic relationship, or not
- 28:57Speaker 1: a fantastic relationship, but a fantastic addition and a time there.
- 29:01Speaker 1: If you can walk away with a super Bowl championship,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I think you can all sides can say, hey, this
- 29:06Speaker 1: was a success. Now, maybe it didn't end the way
- 29:08Speaker 1: you wanted to end, you know. I think sometimes things
- 29:10Speaker 1: run their courses human nature. Things happen, and it seems
- 29:16Speaker 1: like AJ's time there had run its scores. But it's
- 29:20Speaker 1: really cool to see him reunited with Mike Grabel. Mike
- 29:23Speaker 1: Grabel never wanted to trade him from the Tennessee Titans.
- 29:26Speaker 1: That was a front office decision which they thought they
- 29:30Speaker 1: could easily replace him with the kid from Arkansas, and
- 29:33Speaker 1: they weren't able to. They were never the same after that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: And I think Mike Grabel getting to reunite with him
- 29:39Speaker 1: and AJ Brown saying that Patriots had always been his
- 29:41Speaker 1: favorite team, which was a real big surprise to me.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I didn't know that, but that was really cool. So
- 29:45Speaker 1: it seems like he's playing for his dream team. He's
- 29:48Speaker 1: going over there with a great attitude about it, He's
- 29:51Speaker 1: excited about it, and I think that matters going into
- 29:54Speaker 1: these situations, a guy going in with a healthy mindset,
- 29:57Speaker 1: a healthy energy about it, and him saying he's he's
- 30:00Speaker 1: familiar faces. A lot of the staff from Tennessee is
- 30:03Speaker 1: now in New England and he's excited to see those guys.
- 30:05Speaker 1: So I think it's the kind of reunion that he
- 30:08Speaker 1: needed to re energize him going into the season. And
- 30:11Speaker 1: I think you're going to see a great season from
- 30:13Speaker 1: AJ Brown because of it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: How much your expectations of the upcoming season for the
- 30:18Speaker 2: Eagles change without AJ Brown on the roster. I mean,
- 30:21Speaker 2: obviously they still got the Vonte Smith, they added Makayle
- 30:24Speaker 2: Lemon in the draft, but this is a big wide receiver,
- 30:27Speaker 2: one that's no longer on this team. What are your
- 30:31Speaker 2: expectations for the Eagles without AJ Brown this upcoming season?
- 30:35Speaker 1: My expectations definitely lower. You know, it's hard to put
- 30:39Speaker 1: them in the same class as the as the Rams
- 30:42Speaker 1: and the Seahawks right now until proven otherwise. Now, Davonte
- 30:45Speaker 1: Smith do I think as a receiver one? I think
- 30:47Speaker 1: he's proven that he can be dominant on his own
- 30:50Speaker 1: and do his own thing. But without AJ Brown there,
- 30:54Speaker 1: they'll be double teams on them, They'll be clouds, They'll
- 30:57Speaker 1: be things that he hasn't had to deal with as
- 30:59Speaker 1: often with AJ Brown in the fold, and how he
- 31:02Speaker 1: deals with those things, how their offense deals with those things,
- 31:05Speaker 1: how Jalen Hurts deals with it, because at times Jalen
- 31:08Speaker 1: Hurts would just hey, drop back, throw it up to
- 31:10Speaker 1: AJ Brown third and ten all day, always open. AJ
- 31:15Speaker 1: Brown is going to be down there, and it's belled
- 31:18Speaker 1: him out of big games and he's not going to
- 31:20Speaker 1: have that same safety blanket anymore. Can he do that
- 31:22Speaker 1: with DeVonta Smith, No question about it. What will mkay
- 31:27Speaker 1: Livin be He's dealt with some hamstring issues already in
- 31:32Speaker 1: mini camp and OTA's Will that be a lingering issue
- 31:35Speaker 1: throughout the season. We'll see, but it's a lot of unknowns.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And then you got to deal with the Dallas Cowboys,
- 31:41Speaker 1: who have become a lot more formidable. That defensive line
- 31:45Speaker 1: they have is as good as there is in a
- 31:48Speaker 1: National football league. They will be incredibly formidable. Now. I
- 31:51Speaker 1: think the Eagles defense is still formidable. I think they're
- 31:54Speaker 1: going to be great. They feel good about Tarik Wooland
- 31:56Speaker 1: and everything he brought to it, Cooper Dejen, Quinyon Mitchell
- 32:00Speaker 1: uh Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis. They feel really good about
- 32:04Speaker 1: what they have, Noah Smith, all the guys on that
- 32:06Speaker 1: defensive line. So they're still gonna be a problem defensively,
- 32:09Speaker 1: but offensively when you get those situations where sometimes their
- 32:12Speaker 1: offense goes stagnant, you're not just gonna have the safety
- 32:15Speaker 1: valve that you once had. And how are they gonna
- 32:17Speaker 1: adjust with that? Is it gonna be Dallas Goddard, Is
- 32:20Speaker 1: it gonna be Who's it gonna be that steps up?
- 32:22Speaker 1: It's gonna be Makai Lemon, Like we need somebody to
- 32:26Speaker 1: show who they're gonna be. Because the Dallas Cowboys have
- 32:28Speaker 1: improved tremendously. They're much better defense than they were a
- 32:31Speaker 1: year ago. I think they feel really good about that. Offensively,
- 32:34Speaker 1: George Pickens and Cde Lamb are as good as it
- 32:37Speaker 1: gets at the receiver, and you still have that Dakota
- 32:40Speaker 1: Prescott to deal with in the backfield, and I think
- 32:43Speaker 1: they're gonna they're gonna feel like they have a chance
- 32:46Speaker 1: to win that division this year for good reason.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Well, speaking of that division, the New York Giants made
- 32:52Speaker 2: a plethora of moves at the wide receiver position, one
- 32:55Speaker 2: of which is bringing back Odell Beckham Junior. Odell had
- 33:00Speaker 2: forty four touchdowns three hundred and ninety receptions in his
- 33:03Speaker 2: tenure with the Giants. Obviously, the Giants needed to help
- 33:06Speaker 2: Gonnalroschewsky tours Achilles at OTAs Malik Neighbors still nursing a
- 33:11Speaker 2: severe knee injury that he suffered last year. Darius Slayton's
- 33:14Speaker 2: been in an oud of the lineup they bring in Odell,
- 33:17Speaker 2: Juju Smith, Schuster, and Braxton Barrios. Richard, what are your
- 33:21Speaker 2: expectations for Odell Beckham Junior this season? Obviously he's gonna
- 33:26Speaker 2: have an opportunity, but do you think this is just
- 33:28Speaker 2: more of a feel good story. Do you think he
- 33:30Speaker 2: can actually make some noise with this New York Giants team.
- 33:34Speaker 1: It's a feel good story until it's not, you know,
- 33:36Speaker 1: I think, until he gets on a field and shows
- 33:39Speaker 1: some explosiveness, show some big playability. I mean, obviously this
- 33:42Speaker 1: is elite neighbors team. It's a lot different dynamic than
- 33:45Speaker 1: O'Dell than when Odell was there and it was his
- 33:47Speaker 1: team and he was kind of the king of New
- 33:49Speaker 1: York for a quick stint. After the one hand grab,
- 33:53Speaker 1: he was probably one of the most popular players in America.
- 33:56Speaker 1: And I think, you know, it's great to see him
- 33:58Speaker 1: back on the field. I think it's great to see
- 34:00Speaker 1: him back in New York. I think he'll be a
- 34:03Speaker 1: great veteran presence for him hopefully he still has it
- 34:06Speaker 1: and he's healthy. And if he's healthy, I think he'll
- 34:09Speaker 1: he'll he'll make some splash plays and he'll he'll have
- 34:11Speaker 1: some impact. But I think if your expectation is to
- 34:14Speaker 1: have Odell Beckham in his prime, I think that's that's
- 34:17Speaker 1: an overreach. I think he can be a solid contributor
- 34:20Speaker 1: to this team if they give him a shot.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Now, hard Rock Bet has the over underwin total at
- 34:25Speaker 2: seven and a half games for these Giants, Richard, I'm
- 34:29Speaker 2: not gonna lie to you. I kind of like the
- 34:30Speaker 2: young core they have. I like Jackson, Derek Camp Scataboo.
- 34:34Speaker 2: You know, obviously Malik Neighbors if he can get back
- 34:36Speaker 2: to for him. They went and spent big on the
- 34:39Speaker 2: tight end from the Ravens this offseason, Isaiah Likely, and
- 34:43Speaker 2: they have Theo Johnson, a young, up and coming tight end.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Do you like this team as a you know, a
- 34:49Speaker 2: worse to first kind of candidate. I know it's a
- 34:52Speaker 2: tough division, but the Giants have those young guys that
- 34:55Speaker 2: can get hot and maybe turn this thing around for
- 34:57Speaker 2: the Giants.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Well, you know, there were some real cool flashes last year,
- 35:03Speaker 1: and I think I always go back to the game
- 35:05Speaker 1: against the Philadelphia Eagles where they really just I mean
- 35:09Speaker 1: they ran them out. They ran them out the stadium
- 35:11Speaker 1: and Scatibu had three touchdowns. Jackson Dart was everywhere. I
- 35:15Speaker 1: think that was like they're coming out party and they
- 35:17Speaker 1: were just having fun. They were a fun team to watch,
- 35:20Speaker 1: a fun team to root for. And if John Harball
- 35:24Speaker 1: can continue that momentum and solidify them defensively, you know,
- 35:30Speaker 1: There's a ton of talent on that defense, but can
- 35:32Speaker 1: you get it going in the right direction? Can that
- 35:34Speaker 1: defensive line produce like it should? On paper? They got
- 35:38Speaker 1: rvel Reeves, they got a Thibodeau, they got Abdull Carter,
- 35:43Speaker 1: they got they got rid of Dexter Lawrence. But there
- 35:48Speaker 1: are so many pieces that they have that on paper
- 35:51Speaker 1: it looks like this should be a ferocious pass rush.
- 35:53Speaker 1: And if John Harball can maximize their potential and get
- 35:57Speaker 1: that defense to play like they should, then I think
- 36:00Speaker 1: that it becomes much more exciting of a prospect for
- 36:03Speaker 1: me for sure. Today's show is brought to you by

- 37:56Speaker 2: Richard, before we fired up this podcast, somewhat breaking news.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I guess, if you want to call it, that the
- 38:03Speaker 2: NFL has come to the conclusion that they are going
- 38:06Speaker 2: to forego the supplemental Draft this year. Brendan Soorsby, who's
- 38:10Speaker 2: been in the news a ton recently, the big time
- 38:15Speaker 2: transfer from Cincinnati going to Texas Tech, who admitted to gambling.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I admitted to gambling that on games that he played
- 38:24Speaker 2: for the team.
- 38:24Speaker 3: So, you know, there's a.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Lot of criticism about him. You know, ultimately he supplies
- 38:29Speaker 2: applies for the supplemental Draft and the NFL denies him.
- 38:33Speaker 3: They said his.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Application carries with a lot of issues, core of the
- 38:37Speaker 2: game integrity issues. What do you make of this Brendan
- 38:41Speaker 2: Soresby's situation, Richard.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Well, I think the NFL made it pretty clear in
- 38:47Speaker 1: their ruling that they're not going to let him duck accountability.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And I think that's what this is. He was trying
- 38:53Speaker 1: to play, he was doing everything he can to be
- 38:56Speaker 1: ruled eligible. He you know, sue food and got a
- 39:01Speaker 1: temporary eligibility and eventually that all felled through and the
- 39:06Speaker 1: NCAA deemed him ineligible and then he's like, uh, I'm
- 39:09Speaker 1: going to go to the NFL now, you know. And
- 39:11Speaker 1: I think the NFL is like, hey, We're not going
- 39:13Speaker 1: to be the scapegoat, especially for something like this. Now
- 39:16Speaker 1: if it was other things, you've seen issues where players
- 39:21Speaker 1: have gotten in trouble for being paid and things like that.
- 39:26Speaker 1: What was it, Maurice Colorette. And then they had supplemental
- 39:30Speaker 1: draft and they said, hey, based on these circumstances, we
- 39:33Speaker 1: feel good. Supplemental draft will allow you to enter the
- 39:36Speaker 1: draft and play in the NFL this season. But obviously,
- 39:38Speaker 1: these circumstances are so so close to the integrity of
- 39:43Speaker 1: the game and just the integrity of the product and
- 39:46Speaker 1: the integrity of the NFL, and and I think they
- 39:49Speaker 1: felt like that would be diminished in a substantial way
- 39:51Speaker 1: if they didn't have the understanding and they didn't have
- 39:54Speaker 1: the evidence and the transparency that was necessary to go forward,
- 39:57Speaker 1: and they didn't have it. And so I think this
- 39:59Speaker 1: is good decision by him.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Richard. I'm gonna bring up a name. It's a name.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It's going to be a blast from the past here.
- 40:05Speaker 2: The Minnesota Vikings. I hired Noah Tinsley is their new GM.
- 40:08Speaker 2: This is a guy that I'm sure not a whole
- 40:10Speaker 2: lot of people know, you know the backstory about but Richard,
- 40:14Speaker 2: you're the pleasure of working with him when you were
- 40:16Speaker 2: playing with Seattle Seahawks.
- 40:18Speaker 3: What do you make of this?
- 40:19Speaker 2: How cool is this for Noah Tinsley as he gets
- 40:21Speaker 2: the opportunity with the Minnesota Vikings.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It's a it's really it's really incredible and it's fantastic
- 40:27Speaker 1: and I love it. Uh. He's a guy that works
- 40:29Speaker 1: incredibly hard. Uh. You know, a guy who cares about
- 40:32Speaker 1: the players, he cares about his job, he cares about
- 40:34Speaker 1: the organizations. Uh. And I think he's put in, put
- 40:38Speaker 1: in the time. And I think that's the hard part
- 40:40Speaker 1: for a lot of people getting these positions is they
- 40:43Speaker 1: haven't worked themselves through. You know, they haven't taken the
- 40:46Speaker 1: stairs to the top. You know a lot of people
- 40:48Speaker 1: get the elevator and then you get to the top
- 40:50Speaker 1: and you don't know how to operate. But when you
- 40:52Speaker 1: take the stairs, Mitchell, you know how to You know
- 40:54Speaker 1: how the building operates. You know what the fourth first
- 40:56Speaker 1: floor does, you know what the second floor does, you
- 40:58Speaker 1: know what the third floor does. And I think that's
- 41:00Speaker 1: important in leadership and the guys who put in leadership positions,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and I think I think he's going to do a
- 41:06Speaker 1: fantastic job for the for the Minnesota Vikings, and I'm
- 41:09Speaker 1: excited to see it now.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Richard, for those that don't know, he spent thirteen years
- 41:13Speaker 2: with the Seattle Seahawks. He began as an intern there
- 41:16Speaker 2: and like Richard said, climbed his way up all the
- 41:19Speaker 2: way to the top. Kudos to Noah Tinsley. We'll see
- 41:22Speaker 2: how he does with the Minnesota Vikings. There's a handful
- 41:25Speaker 2: of notable free agents still left available on the market. Richard,
- 41:30Speaker 2: Joey Bosas, Stefon Diggs, Deebo, Samuel Hassan, Reddick, Taylor Decker,
- 41:35Speaker 2: Kevin Zeitler, Darren Waller, Kyle Van Noy, Trayvon Diggs, Jadavin Clowney,
- 41:40Speaker 2: just to name a few out of that. You know,
- 41:42Speaker 2: who do you think are you most surprised as available?
- 41:46Speaker 2: Do you think the Niners or Hawks are going to
- 41:48Speaker 2: be bringing any of these vets in?
- 41:52Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I think you know, pass rushers are
- 41:54Speaker 1: like hired guns and mercenaries. You know, when you need them,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you get them. And I think you know a lot
- 42:01Speaker 1: of these teams don't feel like it takes a ton
- 42:03Speaker 1: to get them up to speed and to be able
- 42:05Speaker 1: to throw them in a fold. So they feel good
- 42:07Speaker 1: about what they have. But if anytime during training camp
- 42:10Speaker 1: they don't feel as good about it. They know you
- 42:12Speaker 1: can bring a veteran like Joey Bosa, and you can
- 42:15Speaker 1: bring a veteran like Jajavion Clownty in and throw them
- 42:17Speaker 1: right in a mix and expect them to You know,
- 42:19Speaker 1: these aren't guys that you are rotation or these aren't
- 42:22Speaker 1: guys that you sit on the bench all season and
- 42:24Speaker 1: you pay a decent amount of money and then they
- 42:26Speaker 1: watch most of the game. Most of these game guys
- 42:30Speaker 1: are are first and second down players for the most part,
- 42:32Speaker 1: and third down rushers. So I think you a team
- 42:36Speaker 1: like San Francisco forty Niners who are trying to go younger.
- 42:39Speaker 1: You're trying to get some more reps for Michel Williams
- 42:43Speaker 1: and Alfred Collins. I think you're gonna take your time
- 42:47Speaker 1: with that and give these young guys another training camp
- 42:50Speaker 1: to see how they're gonna do. And then when you
- 42:52Speaker 1: have the kind of depth that the Seattle Seahawks do,
- 42:56Speaker 1: I don't think you're in a rush to add anybody,
- 42:59Speaker 1: you feel good about the guys that you have. You
- 43:01Speaker 1: feel good about DeMarcus Lawrence and his veteran presence, You
- 43:07Speaker 1: feel good about your cha Chenna Nuosu uh and the
- 43:11Speaker 1: guys that you have that have made plays for you.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And so I don't think they're in a hurry to
- 43:15Speaker 1: do anything on either side. But who knows. I think,
- 43:19Speaker 1: you know, the offensive lineman, maybe some of them. The
- 43:22Speaker 1: tape just doesn't look as good as it has in
- 43:24Speaker 1: a pass. And I think sometimes when the offensive lineman
- 43:26Speaker 1: gets over the hill, they're over to Heill Mitchell and
- 43:28Speaker 1: it's and it's done. So the receivers, I think we
- 43:32Speaker 1: get the chance. I think people were waiting for the
- 43:34Speaker 1: Stefan dig stuff to kind of blow over, uh and
- 43:37Speaker 1: the legal stuff that that he was dealing with and
- 43:40Speaker 1: see how the NFL reacted to it. But again, I
- 43:45Speaker 1: think a team with a young receiving corps uh and
- 43:48Speaker 1: inexperienced receiving corps could could take a shot at him,
- 43:51Speaker 1: you know, maybe like the Cleveland Browns. Uh, you know,
- 43:54Speaker 1: can the Pittsburgh Steelers use him? I think they could, uh,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you know, he could. He could go a lot of
- 44:00Speaker 1: places and help make a football team better. But you know,
- 44:03Speaker 1: obviously no team has felt the need so far.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Well, training camp is about a month away, and I'm
- 44:08Speaker 2: sure these guys will find a home somewhat soon, Richard.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Going into training camp, there's a handful of teams that
- 44:14Speaker 2: are really going to have their eyeballs on this quarterback position,
- 44:18Speaker 2: mainly three Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings, and Cleveland Browns. Let's
- 44:23Speaker 2: start with Atlanta. They signed to a Tongue Ioloa this
- 44:27Speaker 2: offseason to a minimum contract after he was released by
- 44:30Speaker 2: the Miami Dolphins. He comes into camp and is going
- 44:33Speaker 2: to be going head to head against Michael Pennix junior,
- 44:36Speaker 2: who obviously they invested a ton in picking him early
- 44:39Speaker 2: in this draft, costing the GM his job. Unfortunately. Who
- 44:44Speaker 2: do you like in this battle? Tua or Penix?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Well, if they're running the offense that they ran in Cleveland,
- 44:53Speaker 1: which is a version in the West Coast, you know,
- 44:57Speaker 1: I think I always lean to the veteran, just because
- 45:03Speaker 1: you know it. I know, people feel how they feel
- 45:05Speaker 1: about Tua, and you know, he goes, you know, he
- 45:07Speaker 1: runs his roller coaster, his gauntlet, but when he's on,
- 45:10Speaker 1: he's on. And I think if Stefanski can get him
- 45:14Speaker 1: back to that place where he was playing at his
- 45:17Speaker 1: best in Miami and put him in his comfort zone.
- 45:19Speaker 1: He has two really really big time targets, and Drake
- 45:23Speaker 1: London and Kyle Pitts and guys that can go and
- 45:26Speaker 1: guys that are I mean literally big time human beings.
- 45:29Speaker 1: There's six five sixty six and he can just put
- 45:32Speaker 1: the ball up and let him go get it. I mean,
- 45:34Speaker 1: you got to think he was out there playing with
- 45:35Speaker 1: Tyreek heel uh And and jay Jaylen Wattle and Jayleen
- 45:42Speaker 1: Wattele who are you know, they're very fast and explosive,
- 45:45Speaker 1: but they're a little bit more diminutive compared to what
- 45:50Speaker 1: he's dealing with now. So I think it's gonna be
- 45:52Speaker 1: I think that'll be where they lean. I think even
- 45:55Speaker 1: that could be good for Penis again, allowing him to
- 45:57Speaker 1: develop behind the quarterback that that is done at a
- 46:01Speaker 1: high level before and a guy who can play football
- 46:05Speaker 1: and you know, give him some security because to what
- 46:08Speaker 1: has had the injury and the concussion issues. But I
- 46:11Speaker 1: think that's how that's gonna play off.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I don't disagree with you. I mean, not to mention
- 46:15Speaker 2: Kyle Pitts. You know it just signed a big deal
- 46:17Speaker 2: three years, fifty four million dollars. I think it's time
- 46:21Speaker 2: to shake it up a little bit in Atlanta. We
- 46:23Speaker 2: got to see what Michael Pennix could do last year.
- 46:25Speaker 2: He can keep the team competitive. But I'm not giving
- 46:29Speaker 2: up on tour just yet.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Richard.
- 46:30Speaker 2: He had his moments, Like you said, he had his
- 46:32Speaker 2: highs in yet as low as in Miami. I'd like
- 46:35Speaker 2: to see him get a fresh start in Atlanta and
- 46:36Speaker 2: see what we can do with those weapons. Let's take
- 46:39Speaker 2: it to the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings. A lot
- 46:42Speaker 2: of talk about JJ McCarthy, you know, obviously last season,
- 46:45Speaker 2: and then coming into this season, they ultimately add Kyler
- 46:48Speaker 2: Murray from the Arizona Cardinals.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Who do you like in this battle?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Because we got to see a lot of JJ McCarthy
- 46:56Speaker 2: last year, and there was some bright spots, but there
- 46:59Speaker 2: was a lot, a lot a lot of dim lights
- 47:02Speaker 2: out there. Do you think Kyler Murray overtakes JJ McCarthy
- 47:06Speaker 2: and wins this job?
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yeah? I do. Again, I just go with the veteran.
- 47:11Speaker 1: You know, Kyler has had streaks, you know, times eight game,
- 47:16Speaker 1: seven game streaks where he's played really really high level football.
- 47:19Speaker 1: And then he's had streaks where you kind of question
- 47:22Speaker 1: what's going on, But I think the talent's there. Obviously,
- 47:26Speaker 1: the athleticism is still there. And then you got you
- 47:31Speaker 1: got Kevin Uh, you got Kevin O'Connell who's calling the plays,
- 47:34Speaker 1: who will put him in positions that really emphasizes strengths,
- 47:39Speaker 1: design plays to to get these really talented receivers open.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Uh.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And and again we saw we saw McCarthy and what
- 47:48Speaker 1: he could do, and and he had some quarters that
- 47:50Speaker 1: were really really fantastic and the fourth quarters of games.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Who was it against the Bear?
- 47:57Speaker 2: And he played really well against the Lions on the
- 47:59Speaker 2: road ultimately won that game.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Right, And he's had those those moments where you're like, oh, Okay,
- 48:05Speaker 1: there it is that that's what he can do. But
- 48:07Speaker 1: I don't think there's been enough of them. And I
- 48:10Speaker 1: don't know if there's gonna be enough in training camp
- 48:12Speaker 1: that you're going to see that will that will convince
- 48:15Speaker 1: you that you should sign sign up for that again
- 48:18Speaker 1: over what Kyler Murray can bring both athletically and tossing
- 48:21Speaker 1: the football around the yard. And at the end of
- 48:24Speaker 1: the day, Uh, Justin Jefferson is going to have some
- 48:27Speaker 1: say in that, and I think I think as much
- 48:30Speaker 1: as he tried to be a professional about everything last year,
- 48:33Speaker 1: I think you could see the demeanor when when he
- 48:36Speaker 1: kind of felt like it, you know, it was a
- 48:38Speaker 1: lost cause he was out there, you know, and he's
- 48:40Speaker 1: just the report. I think they had the lowest passer
- 48:44Speaker 1: rating between a received quarterback and a receiver in a
- 48:47Speaker 1: National football league, between the quarterback and their number one receiver.
- 48:50Speaker 1: And so when that's the case, the report is just
- 48:53Speaker 1: not there. Uh. And so I think they're going to
- 48:56Speaker 1: give Kyler the first shot at it.
- 48:59Speaker 2: And then finally we got the Cleveland Browns this battle.
- 49:02Speaker 2: You know, Shador Sanders had his moments as a rookie
- 49:05Speaker 2: last year. Was good to see him get an opportunity.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Ultimately he overtook Dylan Gabriel. But Deshaun Watson's coming back.
- 49:13Speaker 2: This is a guy that battled, you know, a severe
- 49:15Speaker 2: achilles injury and reinjured it in his recovery process. But
- 49:20Speaker 2: he's finally back. And if anyone needs success, it's Deshaun Watson.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Here's a guy that signed a fully guaranteed contract, became
- 49:28Speaker 2: the highest quarterback, highest paid quarterback in the NFL at
- 49:31Speaker 2: the time Deshaun Watson needs a good season, do you
- 49:35Speaker 2: think he's given the opportunity to start or do they
- 49:38Speaker 2: roll back with.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Shador in the history of the National Football League, Mitchell,
- 49:47Speaker 1: you're paying a quarterback fifty million dollars. He's rarely gonna
- 49:51Speaker 1: sit on that pine if he's healthy. And I know
- 49:55Speaker 1: everybody thought that's what's what was gonna happen with Deshaun Watson.
- 49:59Speaker 1: They were like, Oh, and he comes back. It's just
- 50:00Speaker 1: they're gonna have their quarterback. He's just gonna sit there
- 50:03Speaker 1: until they can get rid of him. This is the
- 50:06Speaker 1: perfect scenario for him to have a chance to start.
- 50:09Speaker 1: You got a young quarterback and Shador who had his
- 50:12Speaker 1: moments last year similar to JJ McCarthy, were you thought, hey,
- 50:16Speaker 1: he could play. He could play delivering dime passes, had
- 50:19Speaker 1: some poise, but he also had some struggles. And not
- 50:23Speaker 1: that Deshaun Watson is without those things. Not that Deshaun
- 50:26Speaker 1: Watson is perfect by any stretching imagination. I mean, the
- 50:29Speaker 1: last few times he was on the field, it just
- 50:31Speaker 1: looks skittish. It looks like he kind of lost his mojo.
- 50:34Speaker 1: And if he looks like that, then I think Shador
- 50:36Speaker 1: Sanders plays, if he looks like he did the last
- 50:38Speaker 1: few times he was on the field, I think if
- 50:41Speaker 1: they see that in training camp, they go with Shador Sanders.
- 50:44Speaker 1: But if he doesn't, if he doesn't and he looks
- 50:49Speaker 1: anything close to Deshaun Watson that was in Houston throwing
- 50:53Speaker 1: the ball around the yard, I think that's who they
- 50:57Speaker 1: go with. Just because they're paying the fifty million dollars.
- 51:01Speaker 1: I mean, because you know the talent and the pedigree
- 51:05Speaker 1: and you're paying fifty million dollars, it's hard.
- 51:08Speaker 2: It's hard to disagree with you. I mean, they got
- 51:10Speaker 2: to get another shot. They're paying them that much money. Needless, say,
- 51:14Speaker 2: we're gonna have a lot to watch in training camp. Finally, Richard,
- 51:18Speaker 2: before we sign off, NFL on Fox just came out
- 51:22Speaker 2: with their top ten QB wide receiver duos in the
- 51:25Speaker 2: NFL for those you know listening or I don't know
- 51:29Speaker 2: if we're gonna have this post it on YouTube, but
- 51:31Speaker 2: I'll rattle them off real quick. They got Matthew Stafford
- 51:34Speaker 2: and Pooka at one. They got Burrow and Jamar Chase
- 51:36Speaker 2: at two, Sam Darnold your Boy and JSN three, DAK
- 51:40Speaker 2: and CD four My guy, Jared Goff and I'm on
- 51:43Speaker 2: Ross Saint Brown five, Drake May and the New Patriot
- 51:47Speaker 2: AJ Brown at six, Josh Allen and question Mark, DJ
- 51:51Speaker 2: Moore at seven, Brock Perty and Mike Evans at eight,
- 51:55Speaker 2: Lamar Jackson, Z Flowers nine and Kyler Murray they were
- 51:59Speaker 2: assuming he is the job and Justin Jefferson at ten.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Do you think the NFL on Fox got this right list?
- 52:07Speaker 3: Right? Is there changes you would make?
- 52:11Speaker 1: Well? Anytime you you gotta go with if the guy's
- 52:14Speaker 1: gonna be winning the starting job. I don't know if
- 52:17Speaker 1: they should be on the top ten list, Like settle down, guys,
- 52:20Speaker 1: if we don't even know if the guy's going to
- 52:22Speaker 1: be the starter.
- 52:24Speaker 3: They might as well. What is it? Drake on there?
- 52:29Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 52:31Speaker 1: All right? Right right? I mean you could you could
- 52:33Speaker 1: go with anybody. You could go with that. You can
- 52:36Speaker 1: go with a lot of people I'm trying to think of.
- 52:41Speaker 1: You know, I think I would have had brought Perty
- 52:43Speaker 1: and Mike Evans a little higher. I like where I'm
- 52:46Speaker 1: and raw in there. I don't know about Josh Allen
- 52:48Speaker 1: and DJ Moore. You know that one is to be seen,
- 52:54Speaker 1: you know, to TBD on that. I don't know, I
- 52:59Speaker 1: think I can. I feel like Jordan Love and you know,
- 53:02Speaker 1: what would you go with Christian Watson? Uh? You know,
- 53:06Speaker 1: Christian Watson just got paid a lot of money, so
- 53:07Speaker 1: clearly they think highly of him. When he's on the field,
- 53:10Speaker 1: he's he's really talented, so he'd probably make an honorable
- 53:14Speaker 1: mention until he gets that thousand yard season. But hmmm mmm, see,
- 53:26Speaker 1: I feel like c J. Stroud and Nico Collins would
- 53:28Speaker 1: have been on this list, but you know, after CJ's
- 53:30Speaker 1: playoff kind of Tobacco, it's kind of lowered. People's what
- 53:34Speaker 1: people think of him. We're missing, like there's an obvious
- 53:46Speaker 1: one missing, Jalen Hurst Savante. I would have put them
- 53:49Speaker 1: over Kyler and maybe maybe Kyler and Justin Jefferson. You know,
- 53:53Speaker 1: I think they've put it, put it on the field.
- 53:56Speaker 1: They've played well in big games. They're a good combination
- 53:59Speaker 1: on a big team. And I would have put Jalen
- 54:02Speaker 1: Hurtson and Devonte Smith on that list before I put
- 54:07Speaker 1: Kyler and j J. So yeah, yeah, I mean.
- 54:11Speaker 3: I know this is gonna sound insane. Richard.
- 54:13Speaker 2: I would put Trevor Lawrence and Jacoby Myers above Josh
- 54:17Speaker 2: Allen and DJ.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Moore at the end those last five games or so.
- 54:20Speaker 3: I'm telling you.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I know it sounds wild and crazy, but you watched
- 54:24Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence and Jacobe Myers down the stretch. I think
- 54:27Speaker 2: they should be certainly close to nine to ten or
- 54:31Speaker 2: honorable mention of this list.
- 54:33Speaker 3: That's just me. I know you do not like the Jags.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Look I don't, but but Mitchell, objectively, they played some
- 54:40Speaker 1: great football down the stretch those two once after that trade.
- 54:43Speaker 1: That's the reason they paid him because it just made
- 54:46Speaker 1: they just melted together so well, really quickly. That chemistry
- 54:50Speaker 1: was through the roof. I'm with you if they if
- 54:52Speaker 1: they start the season like they injured it, there's something
- 54:56Speaker 1: to say there in Jackson and Duval.
- 54:58Speaker 2: All Right, So who are your top three? Let's let's
- 55:00Speaker 2: get the Richard Sherman top three QB wide receiver duos
- 55:04Speaker 2: in the NFL, and if the Lions are not in this, man, we're.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Gonna I'm I'm I'm not. I'm not upset with their
- 55:11Speaker 1: top three. I mean, Matthew Stafford coming off an MVP
- 55:13Speaker 1: season with Pooking a cool you know, another dominant season
- 55:17Speaker 1: for him though the only issues pooking. The KOA has
- 55:19Speaker 1: are off the field, so it's gonna be hard to
- 55:22Speaker 1: go against that one. I think Sam Darnald and JS
- 55:25Speaker 1: and Offensive Player of the Year. You gotta put him
- 55:27Speaker 1: in there. And Jack and Sam Donald had a playoffs
- 55:30Speaker 1: to remember legendary stuff.
- 55:37Speaker 3: What was two Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Oh Burrow and Jamar Chase. Yeah, that's that's Peanut Butter
- 55:43Speaker 1: and jeby No. I mean, you know it's they just
- 55:47Speaker 1: they just worked together since since LSU. Uh. It's gonna
- 55:51Speaker 1: be hard to find a due a little better. They're
- 55:52Speaker 1: gonna they're gonna score points. It's gonna be thirty five
- 55:55Speaker 1: to thirty seven. I don't know who's gonna have thirty
- 55:57Speaker 1: seven and who's gonna have thirty five. That's the problem
- 55:59Speaker 1: with with an.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Well, Richard, it's always a pleasure sitting down with you.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Like we talked about training camps right around the corner
- 56:06Speaker 2: here a month away. We're gonna have a lot more
- 56:08Speaker 2: to talk about once training camp starts. Richard, I will
- 56:12Speaker 2: let you sign us off, my friend.
- 56:14Speaker 1: As always, we appreciate you joining us. I know we were
- 56:17Speaker 1: on a brief hiatus because we had to let the
- 56:19Speaker 1: NFL news stack up, but we're gonna be bringing your
- 56:22Speaker 1: training camp news around the clock when it comes around.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I hope you guys are doing great. Enjoying your summer
- 56:29Speaker 1: breaks and join some R and R vacations if you
- 56:33Speaker 1: got them. Happy Father's Day, Delated Father's Day to all
- 56:36Speaker 1: the dad's out there. We appreciate you all. Love,
