- 0:00Speaker 1: John Jane Rich. Hi, Samantha, you're on the air. Good morning,
- 0:03Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So I matched with this guy who seemed totally normal,
- 0:09Speaker 2: and we were chatting and then he decided to he
- 0:14Speaker 2: invited me over to watch a movie. So I went
- 0:16Speaker 2: over to his place, and this man had framed photos
- 0:21Speaker 2: of himself like everywhere in his apartment, like like just
- 0:26Speaker 2: at him, like not like family photos or anything like
- 0:29Speaker 2: like just him like almost model photos kind of, and
- 0:33Speaker 2: like I was like, hey, do you live alone at
- 0:37Speaker 2: one point, because we were like chatting about like roommates
- 0:39Speaker 2: and stuff, and he was like, oh, no, no, technically I
- 0:42Speaker 2: don't because all these versions of me are my roommates.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Oh a psychobab, I don't know that.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I was like huh huh okay, and then I like
- 0:57Speaker 2: literally went to the bathroom got my friend like I
- 1:00Speaker 2: was like, please, like call me for an emergency, and
- 1:02Speaker 2: then she like called me and I was like, oh
- 1:03Speaker 2: my god, my friend's like growing up. I have to
- 1:05Speaker 2: go help her, and then I left.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Was there like any other times when you're sitting there
- 1:09Speaker 3: hanging out with him, or when you were texting him
- 1:11Speaker 3: that like he gave narcissistic vibes or like ego vibes,
- 1:14Speaker 3: like that's crazy.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I mean no, I didn't think so originally, but now,
- 1:19Speaker 2: like looking back, he kind of he really does. Was
- 1:23Speaker 2: that type that would like kind of only talk about himself.
- 1:25Speaker 2: He didn't really ask me questions, and like he was
- 1:27Speaker 2: always sort of like running his hand through his hair.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I feel like he was like very like kind of
- 1:33Speaker 2: aware of how he looked. If that makes sense.
- 1:35Speaker 4: You might have found a great red flag if you
- 1:37Speaker 4: go somewhere and it's not like a picture of them
- 1:39Speaker 4: with their family, it's a giant picture of themselves. That's probably.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Instagram. If you do Instagram and it's all him, it's
- 1:48Speaker 1: all selfies, I think those people are mental.
- 1:50Speaker 5: But that takes it one step further because he literally
- 1:53Speaker 5: went to Walgreens dot com and printed out those photos
- 1:55Speaker 5: and just went and black frames and went and brought
- 1:57Speaker 5: nails and hung them up on his walls and whited out.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I figured that's what Curvicular is like totally.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Like Clavicular has a picture of himself as a screen
- 2:10Speaker 3: saver on his phone.
- 2:12Speaker 6: You know, when I was single, I had a picture
- 2:14Speaker 6: of myself framed was really big, and I had it
- 2:18Speaker 6: nailed up to the ceiling above my bed, So when
- 2:20Speaker 6: I went to sleep, I would say good night to myself.
- 2:23Speaker 6: I was up in the morning, look at myself. I
- 2:26Speaker 6: would just lay there and talk to myself.
- 2:30Speaker 3: That's what's going on up there in your head.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Makes sense. Jokes, just jokes. Well say manth I'm glad
- 2:35Speaker 1: you got out of there. Thanks for sharing that with us.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 2:38Speaker 6: It's just another thing where you keep hearing about the
- 2:40Speaker 6: dating world how terrible it is. Like they're just terrible,
- 2:42Speaker 6: weird people out there. I think a lot of it
- 2:43Speaker 6: has to do with, uh, the technology and what's going
- 2:46Speaker 6: on with with social media.
- 2:48Speaker 4: People are weird anyway. Right now, I feel like people
- 2:50Speaker 4: have gotten weirder.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you what it's like.
- 2:52Speaker 6: It's like, for some reason, there's people that think it's
- 2:55Speaker 6: okay to be in a restaurant or getting your nails
- 2:59Speaker 6: done and being on FaceTime or a call and talking
- 3:01Speaker 6: out loud and thinking that everybody wants to be part
- 3:04Speaker 6: of your conversation. I experienced that twice in the last
- 3:06Speaker 6: two days, and it's like, why, why why does this
- 3:08Speaker 6: person think that's okay?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Right? Because you just get used to it now, they
- 3:12Speaker 1: just get it.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Just it's like this, this guy, through his point of view,
- 3:17Speaker 6: he just is used to putting pictures of himself up
- 3:19Speaker 6: on his wall.
- 3:19Speaker 1: There's probably a lot of people like that. You know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's just weird. What are you saying?
- 3:23Speaker 3: I was saying, what did they have their headphones in
- 3:25Speaker 3: when they were on it? Okay, that's rue.
- 3:27Speaker 6: My wife is getting her nails done, and she said
- 3:29Speaker 6: there was a lady two places oh, getting her hair done,
- 3:31Speaker 6: get her hair blown out. And there was a lady
- 3:33Speaker 6: two chairs over and was on a FaceTime talking so loud.
- 3:38Speaker 6: And then Jake, my son was talking about how work.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Somebody comes in and is talking on the phone. And
- 3:42Speaker 6: then we were eating at a restaurant yesterday called Sweet Greens,
- 3:46Speaker 6: and we were there was six of us eating our salads,
- 3:49Speaker 6: and there was a table next to us and there
- 3:50Speaker 6: was a guy on FaceTime really loud, eating talking to
- 3:55Speaker 6: this person where we could hear.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It all Like he's alone in his kitchen.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Yeah, like he's a little and I'm like I'm and
- 3:59Speaker 6: it's like I don't want to it's so irritating. But
- 4:02Speaker 6: at the same time, I think it's something. It's like
- 4:03Speaker 6: an evolution that this has just kind of happened like
- 4:06Speaker 6: it's some people think it's okay, and eventually like I'm
- 4:09Speaker 6: gonna start getting involved in a conversation and then the
- 4:11Speaker 6: person's gonna punch me.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I feel like if you have headphones in then you
- 4:15Speaker 3: can kind of get away with it a little bit
- 4:16Speaker 3: as long as you're like kind of talk because you're
- 4:18Speaker 3: kind of talking to yourself. But yeah, like if you're
- 4:20Speaker 3: out on speaker, that's not that's it's.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Weird and rude. Well, sob that thanks for calling in.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:26Speaker 6: So BUCkies opened up National News and then I saw
- 4:29Speaker 6: BUCkies They're gonna open up like more locations across the country.
- 4:32Speaker 1: There's just BUCkies everywhere.
- 4:33Speaker 6: And we wanted to know who's traveled the furthest for something,
- 4:37Speaker 6: right because I brought up how I used to go
- 4:38Speaker 6: with my wife who used to drive forty five minutes
- 4:40Speaker 6: to go get frozen yoga with our bulldogs back in
- 4:42Speaker 6: the day, Melissa, where did you travel to and form
- 4:46Speaker 6: for what?
- 4:47Speaker 7: We live in Preskett and we traveled to why cis
- 4:51Speaker 7: down in Tempee pretty regularly.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Awesome.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Why these is legit is that the only one around you?
- 4:59Speaker 4: I guess Huh, you got to go that far for
- 5:01Speaker 4: a yces.
- 5:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean they've got some like Gilbert and stuff.
- 5:05Speaker 7: But it's so bad that we go so regularly that
- 5:08Speaker 7: the management, like we walk in, they're like, hey, Prusket,
- 5:12Speaker 7: they know us that. I mean, we live so far away,
- 5:15Speaker 7: but yet we go regular enough that they know who
- 5:17Speaker 7: we are.
- 5:18Speaker 1: What do you get? What's your thing, Melissa?
- 5:20Speaker 7: Well, it's you know, it's sturfry, so you just build
- 5:22Speaker 7: your own or whatever. So it's you know, it's like
- 5:24Speaker 7: a big like a sweet tomatoes where you put your
- 5:27Speaker 7: own stuff in and make it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Your own whatever. I build mine.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Whenever I build mine, it's like I always try to
- 5:33Speaker 6: overdo it. You know, you got to pack it up,
- 5:35Speaker 6: so it's over the bowl and it's you make a
- 5:37Speaker 6: big like ice cream cone full of stuff because it
- 5:39Speaker 6: always dwindles down.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, well.
- 5:41Speaker 7: And it's the best the next day is left over.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It is great. That's good stuff. You know. It's funny
- 5:45Speaker 1: because there are other locations. It's kind of like Chipotle.
- 5:48Speaker 6: My my son there's a Chipotle by our house and
- 5:51Speaker 6: my son Jake refuses to go there because he thinks
- 5:53Speaker 6: they always give him less, so he goes to another
- 5:56Speaker 6: Chipotle where they give him more.
- 5:58Speaker 4: What of your kids has one of your Like everybody
- 6:01Speaker 4: got one of your weirds? All your kids?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Well, thanks for listening, Melissa.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Yes, thank you, Kyle.
- 6:07Speaker 4: When John Jay I used to go to the food court,
- 6:09Speaker 4: he would be like, you got to get it to go.
- 6:11Speaker 4: You can't say you're gonna eat it here because they
- 6:13Speaker 4: give you more. And then he would freak out because
- 6:15Speaker 4: they would watch us eating at the food Oh, I.
- 6:17Speaker 6: Would have an excuse in case they said something. I
- 6:19Speaker 6: would say that our meeting change, so we're gonna.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Eat it, Like why would they?
- 6:26Speaker 6: But just in case they'd be like, I thought you
- 6:29Speaker 6: got this to go, Like why are you Why are
- 6:30Speaker 6: you still here and eating the food court? Well, we
- 6:32Speaker 6: had a meeting, got canceled to lay off, but they
- 6:36Speaker 6: perceived confrontation. Casey, where did you travel?
- 6:39Speaker 1: And for what?
- 6:41Speaker 8: I saw Miley in Phoenix for the Banger's tour and
- 6:46Speaker 8: it was so good. I don't know if any of
- 6:48Speaker 8: you saw it. I've seen Taylor, I've seen Bactree Boys,
- 6:50Speaker 8: but this was nothing like you've ever seen. So I
- 6:54Speaker 8: had to get tickets after the show for the next
- 6:56Speaker 8: night in Vegas.
- 6:57Speaker 1: MM hmm.
- 6:58Speaker 8: And we traveled to the her again.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's cool. Yeah, how was that show? Also great?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yes?
- 7:06Speaker 8: Amazing? You freaking flew around on a hot dog. She
- 7:09Speaker 8: slid down at tongue side like it's amazing.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Okay, But anyway, but I got to I don't want
- 7:14Speaker 6: to like downplay what you did. But lots of people
- 7:17Speaker 6: go to Vegas to see concerts. It's like, but to
- 7:19Speaker 6: you know, to travel, you know, three states to go
- 7:22Speaker 6: to a grand opening of a BUCkies. That's a little
- 7:24Speaker 6: dramatic to go to Vegas to see a concert. It's
- 7:26Speaker 6: a Kyle's done it. I've done it, so I think it's.
- 7:28Speaker 8: It's doable when you're in Phoenix too.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 8: I live in Salt Lake now. I just came home
- 7:33Speaker 8: for the weekend actually, so I wanted to ask John
- 7:35Speaker 8: Jay for a prayer for my friend. She lost her dad,
- 7:39Speaker 8: and I came home to Phoenix for the first time
- 7:42Speaker 8: in seven years. I'm in Salt Lake City now, and
- 7:45Speaker 8: I had to tell you, I wrote in a way mow,
- 7:46Speaker 8: I saw them and I had to do it all right.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Here me throw a prayer for your friend. Here you go, Yes,
- 7:52Speaker 1: thank you.
- 7:53Speaker 8: Her name's Anna.
- 7:54Speaker 6: I love you.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Annie.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Thanks Casey, thanks for listening.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, by guys, it was symphony
