- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Happy Friday friends, here we go, thank you for starting
- 0:05Speaker 2: with us.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 4: Garth Brooks has been accused of sexual assault and battery
- 0:10Speaker 4: by his makeup artists. He claims his innocence and is
- 0:13Speaker 4: saying that this is extortion. The woman, who has not
- 0:16Speaker 4: been named and is going by Jane Row, wants him
- 0:18Speaker 4: accountable for his actions. The whole story is still developing,
- 0:21Speaker 4: so we will keep you in the loop as details
- 0:23Speaker 4: do emerge. Halloween is almost here. I know that's crazy
- 0:27Speaker 4: to say. I'm sure the time flew by just like
- 0:30Speaker 4: it did for you as it did for us. But
- 0:32Speaker 4: Eminem's Halloween Rescue Squad is making its return this year.
- 0:35Speaker 4: So that means that if you run out of candy
- 0:37Speaker 4: on Halloween Night, you can have them bring you more candy,
- 0:40Speaker 4: which is genius. So starting at five pm Eastern so
- 0:43Speaker 4: four pm here on October thirty first, you can request
- 0:46Speaker 4: free candy refills at MMS dot com slash Halloween Rescue
- 0:51Speaker 4: Squad and you'll get a quick delivery via go Puff,
- 0:54Speaker 4: so you don't even have to leave the house. You
- 0:55Speaker 4: don't have to worry about anything. You don't have to
- 0:57Speaker 4: worry about upset kids. You just order more eminems and
- 0:59Speaker 4: they have you covered. On Halloween Day and the Nashville
- 1:03Speaker 4: Zoo has announced two editions and they're the first of
- 1:06Speaker 4: their kind at the zoo. Two Komodo dragons hatch last week.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Two little babies. They weigh about the same the same
- 1:12Speaker 4: as a stick of butter, which is wild because these
- 1:15Speaker 4: get huge. They can be up to like three hundred pounds.
- 1:18Speaker 4: So the fact that they even weigh as as little
- 1:21Speaker 4: as a stick of butter right now is wild. So
- 1:24Speaker 4: right now, the ryne scenes as they grow into being
- 1:26Speaker 4: able to be in the enclosure. And you may not
- 1:28Speaker 4: know this, but this is a huge deal because Komodo
- 1:30Speaker 4: dragons are listed as endangered. So the fact that the
- 1:33Speaker 4: Nashville Zoo has two little babies huge deal. Huge, huge deal.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I'll let you know when you're allowed to go and
- 1:39Speaker 4: actually see them in the enclosure. But I will actually
- 1:42Speaker 4: post pictures on one oh seven five the River's Instagram
- 1:44Speaker 4: account if you want to see what they look like.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Right now, they're quite small. Like I said, it still
- 1:48Speaker 4: blows my mind that they start out so tiny and
- 1:49Speaker 4: they get so big. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 1:52Speaker 4: the three things you need to know.
- 1:53Speaker 2: One oh seven, five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
- 1:56Speaker 2: Mano in the Mornings.
- 1:57Speaker 4: The celebrated one year of Ricky, Zach and man in
- 2:00Speaker 4: the Morning. It's kind of wild. It's still gonna blow
- 2:03Speaker 4: my mind every day until it actually happens that it's
- 2:05Speaker 4: been a year, because on the sixteenth is our actual,
- 2:07Speaker 4: yes birthday.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And does it feel like it's flown by for you
- 2:10Speaker 2: or does it feel like it's taken a long time.
- 2:12Speaker 4: It's taken so long to get your heait. No, I'm kidding,
- 2:15Speaker 4: it flew by.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I agree with you. But Zach over here keeps saying,
- 2:18Speaker 3: I can't believe it's only a year.
- 2:20Speaker 5: It feels like we're counting in dog Here's like we've
- 2:22Speaker 5: got to be at least seven at this point.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Okay, seven years old. We celebrated our year birthday last
- 2:28Speaker 4: night at Tailgate HQ in West Nashville. It was a
- 2:32Speaker 4: great night. We had a bunch of listeners come out.
- 2:34Speaker 4: All of our first callers of the day came out
- 2:36Speaker 4: to hang out with us, and some other ones just
- 2:38Speaker 4: decided to stop by. It was really nice.
- 2:40Speaker 2: It was incredibly sweet, Like I felt so grateful for
- 2:43Speaker 2: the last night based on all of the wonderful conversations
- 2:45Speaker 2: we had with all the great people, all the people
- 2:47Speaker 2: that wake up with us every single morning.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they're invested in our lives.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Kim brought us gifts, which was completely unnecessary, but she
- 2:53Speaker 2: brought each of us a gift bag for our birthday
- 2:55Speaker 2: party with little gifts, you know, tailored to each of us.
- 2:58Speaker 3: It was I was overcome with the motion last night,
- 3:00Speaker 3: just being there. I really want to cry. I mean
- 3:03Speaker 3: not cried.
- 3:03Speaker 4: You know, Kevin having any emotion is a big deal.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Take what you can get. That is a big deal.
- 3:09Speaker 4: But we really did just have the nicest night. We
- 3:11Speaker 4: got to give away tickets to a bunch of different
- 3:13Speaker 4: concerts like Sabrida, Carpenter, Billie Eilish, a lot of very
- 3:16Speaker 4: happy people in the crowd. I'm very excited about that.
- 3:19Speaker 4: There's nothing like seeing someone's face when they win tickets
- 3:23Speaker 4: to a show that they really wanted to go to.
- 3:25Speaker 4: They're overcome. They're actually overcome with emotion in a way
- 3:28Speaker 4: that's not roboted, like Kevin.
- 3:30Speaker 5: It's also really cool because a lot of people like
- 3:32Speaker 5: whenever they call into the show, they don't realize that
- 3:34Speaker 5: we are local and live in Nashville, so like getting
- 3:36Speaker 5: to meet them in person, like, hey, we are here,
- 3:39Speaker 5: We're part of the community, Like this is our home too.
- 3:41Speaker 5: So it was like really cool to meet listeners that
- 3:43Speaker 5: we see at the grocery store every single day, that
- 3:46Speaker 5: listen to us every single morning, and they're like, oh
- 3:47Speaker 5: my god, you guys actually do live here, and I'm like, yeah,
- 3:49Speaker 5: we do.
- 3:50Speaker 3: This is our home.
- 3:50Speaker 6: It was fun.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I hope we do it every year, another birthday party
- 3:53Speaker 3: in October every single year.
- 3:54Speaker 4: But thank you for coming out, everybody that came out,
- 3:56Speaker 4: Anybody who didn't make it, we still love and appreciate
- 3:59Speaker 4: you more than you could ever know, because you do
- 4:01Speaker 4: make this so much fun and so easy to do,
- 4:04Speaker 4: and it's the reason why we love doing it every
- 4:07Speaker 4: single day. It's because of you.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Ricky and Zach, Happy birthday.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Happy birthday.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Love you guys.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 4:15Speaker 7: On the river.
- 4:17Speaker 4: This weekend is supposed to be warm, Like it's gonna
- 4:20Speaker 4: be a nice, warm weekend. I say nice because I
- 4:23Speaker 4: still like to hold on to a little bit of summer.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But it's October.
- 4:26Speaker 4: We don't want this, Yeah, but there's lots to do
- 4:29Speaker 4: this weekend and Zach's got the full list.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Go ahead, Zach, okay.
- 4:32Speaker 5: So starting tomorrow is the Tanger Outlets is hosting a
- 4:35Speaker 5: pink party today and tomorrow actually from ten am to
- 4:39Speaker 5: one pm for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Amazing.
- 4:42Speaker 5: So they're gonna have like a social hour with bubbles
- 4:44Speaker 5: and by its a flower bouquet bar. They're gonna have
- 4:47Speaker 5: a bunch of different selfie crafts so you can go
- 4:50Speaker 5: celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month down at Tanger Outlets. It
- 4:52Speaker 5: is today, starts today from ten am to one pm,
- 4:56Speaker 5: and then.
- 4:57Speaker 3: October Fest is this weekend. It's in Germantown.
- 5:00Speaker 5: It is so fun. I go every single year. The
- 5:02Speaker 5: admission is only ten dollars. But they're gonna have like
- 5:05Speaker 5: different German food. They're gonna have drift draft beers and
- 5:08Speaker 5: a puppy parade.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You just went to the real october Fest in Germany,
- 5:13Speaker 2: I did. Are you gonna wear your leader hose into
- 5:15Speaker 2: this one?
- 5:15Speaker 3: I am absolutely gonna wear my leader hoses.
- 5:18Speaker 5: That's the reason to go, judge, but this one versus
- 5:21Speaker 5: the Munich Germany one, so I'll let you know.
- 5:24Speaker 4: I also even bother judge.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Now there's no comparisons.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Let's be real.
- 5:28Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Also in Gallatin, they're doing the Gallatin Main Street Festival.
- 5:32Speaker 5: That is tomorrow from ten am to four pm. So
- 5:34Speaker 5: they're gonna have a bunch of different vendors. They're expecting
- 5:38Speaker 5: over thirty thousand people that are gonna be there.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Who yeah. So they're gonna have the kids.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Area along with food and eating, they're gonna have live
- 5:45Speaker 5: performances on two different stages. So that is tomorrow in Gallatin.
- 5:49Speaker 5: And then this one sounds so cute. It's the Pups
- 5:51Speaker 5: and Pints how Loween Festival. It's tomorrow from noon to
- 5:56Speaker 5: four at one City. So there's gonna be a bunch
- 5:58Speaker 5: of dog centric active vites, costume contest with prizes, there's
- 6:03Speaker 5: gonna be pet vendors and food trucks and so much.
- 6:06Speaker 5: And I will say all of the beer sales from
- 6:08Speaker 5: the event are going to the Nashville Humane Association. So
- 6:10Speaker 5: it's also for really that's great, all the sales, all
- 6:13Speaker 5: of the beer sales.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, So they're gonna have like a beer garden. Also,
- 6:17Speaker 3: if you need.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Something to do to get the kiddos outside, cheek Wood
- 6:20Speaker 5: Harvest at cheek Wood. It's very beautiful to have over
- 6:23Speaker 5: seventy five thousand pumpkins, a beer garden, a bunch of
- 6:26Speaker 5: very fun things. And then lastly, I know there's a
- 6:28Speaker 5: lot going on this weekend, but Miranda Lambert is at
- 6:31Speaker 5: a sind Amphitheater on tomorrow at seven point thirty and
- 6:35Speaker 5: it is for her Mutt Nation benefit show. So another
- 6:38Speaker 5: like dog fundraiser that's happening tomorrow at a send lots of.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Dog fundraisers this month for three of them in there.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I love the dog. If you go to that
- 6:45Speaker 3: Miranda Lambert show, are gonna wear your leader host? I
- 6:47Speaker 3: will wear it all week and long. If you want
- 6:49Speaker 3: me to Kevin Perfect, please do. Thank you for that
- 6:51Speaker 3: ze three days you need to know.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Seven oh six on this Friday morning, Happy Friday. Ricky's
- 6:57Speaker 2: got those three things.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Sabrinda Carpenter has responded to claims that she doesn't sing
- 7:01Speaker 4: live at her shows. So someone on TikTok responded to
- 7:04Speaker 4: a question that someone had posed, saying, quote does she
- 7:08Speaker 4: ever sing live on a video of Sabrina And they said,
- 7:11Speaker 4: quote hate to say it, but thirty percent lip singing,
- 7:14Speaker 4: thirty percent backtrack forty percent singing. She saw it and
- 7:18Speaker 4: responded by saying, quote, I sing live every show one
- 7:21Speaker 4: hundred percent. Would you like to speak to my audio engineers?
- 7:24Speaker 4: And then she took it a step further and this
- 7:26Speaker 4: is where it gets petty, and this is where I
- 7:28Speaker 4: love it. And her most recent concert, she decided that
- 7:31Speaker 4: she was going to do the entire concert without any backtrack.
- 7:34Speaker 4: So here she is singing at her concert.
- 7:43Speaker 8: He Sabrina Flintal said, Bet did the entire concert with
- 7:56Speaker 8: no backtrack. We'll see if she goes back to doing
- 7:59Speaker 8: it the regular that she was doing it before. I
- 8:01Speaker 8: think she was really just trying to prove a point
- 8:03Speaker 8: right now, So don't expect this for every single show,
- 8:06Speaker 8: but the girls singing the mic is live, and it
- 8:08Speaker 8: is on.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Merriam Webster has added two hundred new words to their
- 8:13Speaker 4: twenty twenty four edition dictionary. Some of them are courtesy
- 8:16Speaker 4: of the younger generation, so trendy terms like NEPO, baby
- 8:20Speaker 4: FYP which stands for a for You page, and shadow
- 8:23Speaker 4: band are all new. There's some fun food words that
- 8:26Speaker 4: are in there, including streetcorn and burrata, which I had
- 8:30Speaker 4: no idea, but barrata was never in there prior to this.
- 8:33Speaker 4: That is my favorite appetizer to get at every single restaurant.
- 8:36Speaker 4: So I love that you can find all these new
- 8:39Speaker 4: two hundred different words on their website. You can breathe
- 8:42Speaker 4: through all of them if you want to get it
- 8:43Speaker 4: up to up to part with your gen Z's slang.
- 8:47Speaker 4: And tickets are on sale for the Gallatin Comic Con
- 8:50Speaker 4: right now, which is going to return to Gallaton Civic
- 8:52Speaker 4: Center later this month. You can check it out October
- 8:55Speaker 4: twenty sixth to the twenty seventh. There's gonna be a
- 8:57Speaker 4: bunch of special events and panels along with it. Vendors
- 9:00Speaker 4: that are gonna be there, and they're celebrating the fiftieth
- 9:02Speaker 4: anniversary of Happy Days and Good Times with cass Reingion.
- 9:06Speaker 4: So Henry Winkler and Anson Williams from Happy Days are
- 9:10Speaker 4: going to be there, along with Burnadette Stannis, Jimmy Walker,
- 9:14Speaker 4: and Ralph Carter all from Good Times. So really cool
- 9:17Speaker 4: moment if you want to go to Gallatin Comic Con.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Like I said, the tickets are on sale now. I'm
- 9:22Speaker 4: Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
- 9:24Speaker 4: to know.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Thank you, Ricky. Here's Hosier.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I just learned the baranta wasn't in the dictionary, which
- 9:28Speaker 2: is weird wild because that's a cheese. We're gonna learn
- 9:31Speaker 2: something else right after a hose. You're Zach's beacks. You
- 9:33Speaker 2: standing by with the fact, we're gonna get it.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Next to the River, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 9:38Speaker 1: the morning on the River is born ready?
- 9:44Speaker 4: Okay, go ahead, Zach. It's zack'sbax on one of seven
- 9:47Speaker 4: five the river.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Did you guys know that walnuts are not technically nuts? Apparently,
- 9:52Speaker 5: according to Merriam Webster, a nut is only a nut
- 9:54Speaker 5: if it's a hard shelled with a seed with a
- 9:57Speaker 5: separable like shell and interior.
- 10:00Speaker 3: So it's not technically a nut.
- 10:02Speaker 5: So walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios are not actually nuts their seeds.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Maybe I'm tired today, but what that is, I'm gonna
- 10:10Speaker 3: take your word for it.
- 10:10Speaker 5: You have to have the exterior with a kernel inside
- 10:13Speaker 5: to make it a nut.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Got it? Call it a walnut? Great question, Ricky, Okay,
- 10:18Speaker 3: that'll be in fact.
- 10:19Speaker 1: On Monday, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 10:24Speaker 4: On what's your good luck Charm? It's Ricky Zachamano In
- 10:29Speaker 4: the morning. Kevin learned last night that my fiance wears
- 10:33Speaker 4: the same met shirt every time the Mets play in
- 10:36Speaker 4: a playoff game.
- 10:37Speaker 3: He had it on last night they were doing their
- 10:39Speaker 3: wild Card game.
- 10:39Speaker 2: We were all out at a tailgate HQ for our
- 10:42Speaker 2: birthday party, the show's one year anniversary, and AJ was
- 10:44Speaker 2: there with a stinky shirt on, and I was.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Not aware that was a part of his life.
- 10:48Speaker 4: So he doesn't wash it until the season ends, and
- 10:51Speaker 4: he said he wanted me to make sure that I
- 10:53Speaker 4: said this. The shirt made it all the way to
- 10:55Speaker 4: the World Series in twenty fifteen, so it's his good luck.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it works?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Is it every time?
- 11:02Speaker 3: Seven? Seven nine seven? What is your good luck time?
- 11:05Speaker 3: Do you have one?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Is it a little trinket that you keep in your pocket?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Is it a dirty shirt like Aj? Is it a
- 11:10Speaker 2: lucky pair of undies?
- 11:12Speaker 3: Let us know? Six one five seven three seven.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Good morning, Steve in Hendersonville. Welcome to one O seven
- 11:24Speaker 4: five the River. What is your good luck charm?
- 11:27Speaker 3: I know it's weird, but I carry around one of
- 11:30Speaker 3: my baby teeth for good luck, for wisdom? What Now
- 11:35Speaker 3: it's a thing in my family.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Oh did your mom just save it for you then
- 11:40Speaker 4: and then gave it to you when you were older
- 11:42Speaker 4: and was like, here you go, carry this in your pocket, son.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I've just kind of always had it and so it's, uh,
- 11:48Speaker 3: it's in my wallet.
- 11:49Speaker 6: It's kind of impaled in the leather at this point,
- 11:50Speaker 6: but in my wallet.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay, all right, that's a new one.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Where do we go from here, Kenn?
- 11:57Speaker 3: Do you feel wise? Does it work? Yeah?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, based on the little we know about you, I
- 12:03Speaker 3: don't know.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Either way. We appreciate you so much and thank you
- 12:10Speaker 4: so much for calling in. Have a great day, Thanks.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Steve, Thanks for sharing, buddy.
- 12:15Speaker 4: That is just a wild scenario to me, not the.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Call we were expecting.
- 12:19Speaker 2: But six one, five, seven, three seven nine one seven
- 12:22Speaker 2: if you have a good luck charm And again, we
- 12:24Speaker 2: got on this because Ricky's fiance AJ wears the same
- 12:27Speaker 2: dirty Metz shirt for is it every playoff game?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Every playoff game when they make it this far? And honestly,
- 12:32Speaker 4: that doesn't sound that weird anymore.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Actually, Steve's good Ricky, Zach and Manno.
- 12:39Speaker 2: In the morning, we were talking about Ricky's fiance's dirty
- 12:44Speaker 2: Metz shirt that he wears every time the Mets are
- 12:46Speaker 2: in the playoffs, and we got onto a conversation about
- 12:48Speaker 2: lucky charms. We heard from Steve, who carries a tooth
- 12:50Speaker 2: with him all the time. Wild scenario Madison in Hendersonville.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Do you have one?
- 12:56Speaker 6: I do?
- 12:57Speaker 4: Okay?
- 12:57Speaker 6: What is growing up? Rabbit tails? Keychains were extremely popular
- 13:03Speaker 6: and that is my good luck term. I have had
- 13:05Speaker 6: it for twenty two years.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Twenty two years? Wow, okay, And you really believe that
- 13:10Speaker 4: it brings you good luck?
- 13:11Speaker 8: Then?
- 13:11Speaker 9: Oh?
- 13:12Speaker 6: Absolutely?
- 13:13Speaker 3: Is it like my.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Store bought or is this something like, uh, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 2: did you kill a rap what you like?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Did you find it?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Or like?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Was it a meaning of a pet rabbit? Perhaps?
- 13:22Speaker 7: No?
- 13:23Speaker 6: No, I believe I got it from the Renaissance festival.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Okay, so a store bought one. Is there one specific
- 13:29Speaker 4: scenario that you remember this bringing you good luck?
- 13:32Speaker 6: So I keep it on my keychain, and every time
- 13:35Speaker 6: I have either used a spare keeks, I can't find mine.
- 13:39Speaker 6: I've always been in an accident. Three times I didn't
- 13:41Speaker 6: have it with me, so it goes everywhere I go.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And I just want to circle back to this. You
- 13:46Speaker 2: both thought it was crazy that I was asking if
- 13:48Speaker 2: it was a real Rabbits, But do you think it's
- 13:50Speaker 2: a real Rabbits? But of those store bought ones authenticated
- 13:53Speaker 2: or are they just fake?
- 13:54Speaker 4: I think they're fakes. It's just like stuffed fur.
- 13:57Speaker 6: I don't know if it's real or not. But I
- 13:59Speaker 6: just know that I don't take any chances, and it
- 14:01Speaker 6: goes everywhere I go.
- 14:03Speaker 4: She knows the luck is real, and that's all that.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Matty, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on
- 14:10Speaker 1: the River.
- 14:11Speaker 4: It's Game tom Baby. Yes, it is Kevin Mano's Game
- 14:14Speaker 4: of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. We're playing right
- 14:17Speaker 4: now for Post Malone tickets. He's gonna be at Nissan Stadium
- 14:20Speaker 4: October nineteenth.
- 14:21Speaker 2: What a show that's gonna be. We've had these all
- 14:23Speaker 2: week long. We're playing Pop Goes Country. It's to name
- 14:25Speaker 2: that tune. Type of game since post Malone has gone
- 14:28Speaker 2: country is to cover a country cover of a very
- 14:31Speaker 2: popular song.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Today. I will tell you right now, the clip is short.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Okay, take it harder.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I like to make it harder as the week
- 14:39Speaker 3: goes on. That's always kind of la style.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Clip six one, five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 14:44Speaker 3: If you can identify this, turn your radio up. What
- 14:51Speaker 3: is it? Let us know?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven three seven nine one oh seven.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Name that tune You're going to see Posty.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 15:01Speaker 9: The River saying.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Kevin Man, Who's game of the day for post Malone tickets?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yes we are, Jennifer and Hendersonville. How are you?
- 15:07Speaker 7: I am great?
- 15:08Speaker 6: How are you guys?
- 15:09Speaker 3: We're good. Did you have a nice week?
- 15:11Speaker 1: We did.
- 15:11Speaker 7: We were trying to win all week.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Oh okay, Jennifer, how do you feel about your odds here?
- 15:16Speaker 7: I feel very confident.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna play it for you one more time.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'll give you the clue one more time, so you
- 15:21Speaker 2: have another couple of seconds to lock in your guests,
- 15:24Speaker 2: and then we'll ask you to name that tune. Here
- 15:25Speaker 2: we go, Jennifer for tickets to see post Malone. Name
- 15:29Speaker 2: this country cover?
- 15:30Speaker 3: So I hit the road, all right, Jennifer, what is it?
- 15:35Speaker 3: Name that tune by the weekend? Tonight, shine Lights by
- 15:40Speaker 3: the weekend. I want to do one thing real quick.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I just want to play like ten more seconds of
- 15:44Speaker 2: it because I think it really works as a country
- 15:46Speaker 2: song like I love this take.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Here we going. I can't sleep, but tell us, is
- 16:00Speaker 3: that not really good?
- 16:01Speaker 4: I'm not mad at it?
- 16:02Speaker 6: So good?
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good.
- 16:03Speaker 2: And since you knew it, you're going to see post
- 16:05Speaker 2: Malone at Nissan Stadium on nineteenth.
- 16:08Speaker 4: So much congratulations.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Who do you do you have like a wish list
- 16:12Speaker 2: of who you hope he brings out on stage that night?
- 16:14Speaker 7: Honestly, anybody. I'm just so grateful to go see him.
- 16:17Speaker 1: All.
- 16:18Speaker 4: We're so happy that you won enjoy the concert. Hang
- 16:21Speaker 4: on the line, though, because we're gonna get info from
- 16:23Speaker 4: you to make sure you get these tickets.
- 16:24Speaker 2: All right, thank you, have fun, Jennifer, Thanks for listening,
- 16:27Speaker 2: Thanks for calling, have a great weekend.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's out.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Three things you need to know eight o'clock here on
- 16:32Speaker 2: this Friday morning. We really appreciate you starting your day
- 16:35Speaker 2: with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 16:36Speaker 4: A federal judge has ruled that the Biden administration can
- 16:39Speaker 4: move forward with student debt forgiveness. So a federal judge
- 16:42Speaker 4: is going to let the temporary restraining order against the
- 16:45Speaker 4: Biden administrations expire so student forgiveness plan can move forward
- 16:51Speaker 4: for millions of Americans. So Biden's plan would forgive student
- 16:54Speaker 4: debt for four groups of borrowers, those who owe more
- 16:57Speaker 4: than they originally took out, people who've been in repayment
- 17:00Speaker 4: already for decades, students from schools with low financial value,
- 17:04Speaker 4: and those who qualify for loan forgiveness under an existing
- 17:07Speaker 4: program but haven't applied for it yet. Obviously, I don't
- 17:11Speaker 4: think it's over yet, so if anything changes, I will
- 17:14Speaker 4: let you know. McDonald's has brought back their boo buckets
- 17:17Speaker 4: for Halloween and people are not happy about it. Lots
- 17:20Speaker 4: of people are disappointed. They're criticizing the lack of lids
- 17:23Speaker 4: that come with them and calling the designs very underwhelming.
- 17:26Speaker 4: So normally the buckets come in four different colors and
- 17:28Speaker 4: different types of monsters, so they typically do the monsters Skeleton, Mummy,
- 17:33Speaker 4: and vampire, but this year's monsters are just different types
- 17:36Speaker 4: of fluffy guys and they're all just on different colored buckets.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Normally they also have a purple bucket, but this year
- 17:43Speaker 4: they're switching that out for blue, so people are just
- 17:46Speaker 4: really upset. This is a collector's item. People wait every
- 17:48Speaker 4: year for these, so a lot of people are upset,
- 17:51Speaker 4: but a lot of families are also really excited because
- 17:53Speaker 4: now they're like, Oh, my kid can finally get a
- 17:55Speaker 4: boo bucket and not all these crazy people who are
- 17:58Speaker 4: collecting them. If you want one, they will be available
- 18:01Speaker 4: starting October fifteenth. And cheek Wood's tenth annual Holiday Lights display,
- 18:06Speaker 4: they have announced when it starts Friday, November twenty second,
- 18:10Speaker 4: marketing your calendar. You can expect one hundred and twenty
- 18:12Speaker 4: decorated trees, a s'moor station, a holiday marketplace. It's so cute.
- 18:17Speaker 4: We love Cheekwood. And this is also the debut of
- 18:20Speaker 4: a twenty eight foot three D display in the Bradford
- 18:24Speaker 4: Robertson Color Garden and Custom Mansion de Core, Both New Things.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Tickets go on sale to the public starting October fifteenth.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 18:33Speaker 4: need to know.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You make me realize we have any of my family
- 18:35Speaker 2: hasn't gone for the pumpkins yet, and we're talking about
- 18:37Speaker 2: the holidays, so we better.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Get out of fast.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Seven five the river. All right, I need your help.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It's one oh seven five the river.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Ricky thinks I am truly incompetent because I let my
- 18:50Speaker 2: passport expire and then my family had to take a
- 18:52Speaker 2: last minute trip to Chicago this week to get a
- 18:54Speaker 2: one day, same day passport. And she thinks I'm the
- 18:56Speaker 2: only person this has happened to. But I'm telling you,
- 18:58Speaker 2: since this has happened to me, I've heard from so
- 19:00Speaker 2: many people that have been in the exact same position.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Apparently everyone in his life is also incompetent.
- 19:06Speaker 3: How many is so many? Though?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Truly so many people on social media reaching out people
- 19:10Speaker 2: in real life. I was having a conversation last anyway,
- 19:12Speaker 2: just please call your story so they don't think I'm
- 19:15Speaker 2: the only one.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That has happened to you.
- 19:16Speaker 2: If you've had a passport expire, or if you've gone
- 19:19Speaker 2: to the airport not.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Had a passport expire, because they do expire, if you
- 19:24Speaker 4: had one expire right before you were supposed to take
- 19:26Speaker 4: a stripper while you were on a.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Trip, any of those six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 19:31Speaker 2: one oh seven.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I know there are a lot of stories out there,
- 19:34Speaker 3: so this is the time to call so she doesn't
- 19:36Speaker 3: think I am the only one we'll see on incompetent Island.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Let us know Ricky is Zach and Manno in the
- 19:43Speaker 1: morning on the river.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Now, Kevin, it looks like you are the only incompetent
- 19:49Speaker 4: person in this area today. It's one oh seven five
- 19:53Speaker 4: the river. Kevin messed up his whole passport situation for
- 19:56Speaker 4: his trip that he's about to go on this weekend
- 19:59Speaker 4: where he had to take a day off of work
- 20:00Speaker 4: and fly to Chicago with his whole families. That everybody
- 20:03Speaker 4: can get new passports because they all expired.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 20:06Speaker 2: And we caught it at the last second. And I
- 20:08Speaker 2: know for a fact that this is super common. And Kevin,
- 20:12Speaker 2: a minute ago, I said, call now with your stories.
- 20:14Speaker 3: This has happened to you.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I'm sure A six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 20:17Speaker 2: one oh seven and something.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Must be rolling their phone system, or maybe we gave
- 20:20Speaker 3: the phone number wrong. It's ball break. I think that's it.
- 20:23Speaker 3: It's ball breakding nobody that you slid.
- 20:25Speaker 4: The number in again to try to see if somebody
- 20:27Speaker 4: would call.
- 20:28Speaker 5: You know what it sounds like to me, what a
- 20:30Speaker 5: privileged white man problem.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Wow, jarn, my passport expired.
- 20:35Speaker 5: I can't fly to another country, so I have to
- 20:38Speaker 5: fly to Chicago with my entire family.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Last minute rough life Kevin.
- 20:42Speaker 4: I'm more so focused on the fact that he thinks
- 20:44Speaker 4: that everyone does this and that it's so normal for
- 20:46Speaker 4: your passports a lot of everything.
- 20:48Speaker 3: You don't even have passports.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, great, but the people that do often let
- 20:52Speaker 2: them expire.
- 20:54Speaker 3: They're not all the leaden like it sneaks up on you.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Since this half of the year sneaks up on you.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Just have an This happened twice to Kevin, by the way.
- 21:02Speaker 3: And it will not happen a third. I have a
- 21:04Speaker 3: reminder set of my calendar now. Nine years from now,
- 21:06Speaker 3: I will.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Renew my passport. Four years from now, I'll renew the
- 21:09Speaker 2: kids passports. I'm to stay on top of this problem.
- 21:12Speaker 4: This is hilarious. I literally could not be happier that
- 21:15Speaker 4: nobody has called in.
- 21:17Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna grab this one live right now. Hey,
- 21:19Speaker 3: one O seven five the river. Who's this Sandra? Has
- 21:23Speaker 3: this happened to you before?
- 21:25Speaker 7: Somewhat?
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, see, we're gonna thank you for calling Sandra
- 21:28Speaker 2: now she had to go six seven three seven nine seven.
- 21:33Speaker 1: If you're with me, Ricky is Zach and manno in
- 21:36Speaker 1: the morning on.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Hurry, Kevin. Let's see if these people can save you
- 21:41Speaker 4: from yourself. It's one of seven five of the River.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Kevin is convinced he is not the only person who
- 21:47Speaker 4: has forgotten to update his passport.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I know I'm not, and now we have tons of calls.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Let's say good morning to Sondra. Sondra, what's your story?
- 21:54Speaker 7: I live in New York at the tan my pasport
- 21:57Speaker 7: and it's fired. So I had no.
- 22:00Speaker 3: It was downtown for us. They wouldn't do it.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Then I had to drive two and a half hours
- 22:04Speaker 6: to Connecticut and I had to pay one hundred dollars extra.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a very expensive mistake. I will agree
- 22:11Speaker 3: with that.
- 22:11Speaker 6: What was was the last minute thing.
- 22:13Speaker 2: This is true, is true.
- 22:14Speaker 6: But what I heard you was, I was like, wow, thank.
- 22:16Speaker 2: You for backing me up. I appreciate we put these
- 22:18Speaker 2: guys in their place.
- 22:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 4: You different than yours, though, Kevin. But it's fine.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Thank you, Sandra, have a great day. Kevin also said,
- 22:28Speaker 3: so many people deal with this. They do no. Pamena
- 22:31Speaker 3: is on the line, Pamena, what's your story?
- 22:33Speaker 7: So, actually was my daughter's passport that expired. It's because
- 22:37Speaker 7: you know, with kids, their passport expires. I think after
- 22:40Speaker 7: five years, like a week before our flight, I checked
- 22:43Speaker 7: our passport and I was like, oh my god, her
- 22:46Speaker 7: passports expired, and so we had to go down to
- 22:50Speaker 7: Atlanta and get a new passport for her.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Atlanta's the closest one, and I looked they had
- 22:54Speaker 2: no appointments available, so we ended up going to Chicago.
- 22:56Speaker 3: But yeah, you feel my pain.
- 22:58Speaker 7: I feel your pain because it was like, oh my god,
- 23:00Speaker 7: are we going to make this flight?
- 23:01Speaker 3: I just simply do not understand.
- 23:03Speaker 4: But have you done it since then?
- 23:05Speaker 1: No?
- 23:06Speaker 7: I haven't because I'm paranoid about it. So every time
- 23:08Speaker 7: I book a flight internationally, first thing I do is
- 23:11Speaker 7: check the passports.
- 23:12Speaker 4: And see logical that totally makes sense. Kevin's done this twice.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Now I am going to renew my passport every three
- 23:19Speaker 2: months for the rest of my life.
- 23:23Speaker 7: That might be a good twin.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning on.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Kevin picked today's Daily Devil tap on one O seven
- 23:33Speaker 4: five The River. Yeah, beautiful. James blund related it.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, he's gonna re release, so I'm gonna let him
- 23:41Speaker 2: explain the whole situation. But it's it has to do
- 23:43Speaker 2: with the re release of his debut album, and it's
- 23:45Speaker 2: very clever and from what I understand, it's very real,
- 23:48Speaker 2: like he's committed to doing this. Okay, so this is
- 23:50Speaker 2: the video he put out there.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Yeah, beautiful, that's obviously not it. This is a video
- 23:54Speaker 3: he put out.
- 23:55Speaker 9: My name is James Blunt. I know you've heard the
- 23:57Speaker 9: rivers and they're true.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm re releasing my debut.
- 24:00Speaker 9: Back to Bedlam on October the eleventh, something that just
- 24:02Speaker 9: kept me consistently reached for the past twenty years. So
- 24:04Speaker 9: as a way to give back to you, my adore
- 24:06Speaker 9: in public. If Back to Bedlin re enters the chance
- 24:08Speaker 9: to number one, I will legally change my name. What
- 24:11Speaker 9: will I change it to, Well, that's entirely up to you.
- 24:13Speaker 9: I've been called many things in my life, most hated
- 24:16Speaker 9: man in pop, annoying, James Beige. I'll let the people decide.
- 24:21Speaker 9: But if it doesn't go to number one, I'm not
- 24:23Speaker 9: changing my name. It's safe to say this is the
- 24:25Speaker 9: most important democratic moment.
- 24:27Speaker 8: Of the year.
- 24:28Speaker 3: I mean, it's pretty smart.
- 24:30Speaker 2: People are gonna want to change his name, so that
- 24:32Speaker 2: means they're gonna have to buy the album. So it
- 24:34Speaker 2: goes to number one, he's gonna make even more money.
- 24:36Speaker 2: But then yes, we'll be stuck with some weird names.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Will did he change his name to go ahead? I
- 24:41Speaker 3: would keep it James Blunt.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Yeah, beautiful. What would you change it to?
- 24:46Speaker 3: Paprica?
- 24:48Speaker 4: Why? Pabric?
- 24:49Speaker 5: Just so that he has to have the most insane
- 24:51Speaker 5: name ever. Welcome to the stage, Paprica.
- 24:56Speaker 4: He loves it so much he's gonna buy three hundred
- 24:58Speaker 4: albums just to make sure that he can change his
- 25:01Speaker 4: name to Paprika.
- 25:01Speaker 3: We're gonna put that whole video up.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It was longer at one O seven five The River
- 25:05Speaker 2: on Instagram if you want to see the whole video
- 25:07Speaker 2: about James Blunt's promise to change his name if his
- 25:10Speaker 2: album goes to number one.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and Mano in the Morning
- 25:14Speaker 3: On one O seven five The River
