  pleas from Massey's mother and Sonia herself.

  Together they lay out a clearer view of Sonia Massey's mental

  state before she was shot and killed in her kitchen.

  From inside the Sangamon County home of Sonia Massey, her mother

  dialed 911 on July 5th. My daughter is being sporadic

  and she's been mentally having a mental breakdown.

  It was just after 9:00 AM. She's not a danger to herself,

  she's not a danger to me. But when she gets upset, then
• 0:50
  she thinks everybody after her. Sonia Massey's mother ended the
• 0:55
  nearly three minute call for emergency help with one final
• 0:58
  plea. And please don't send no

  comparative policemen that are prejudice plea.

  Paperwork filed by Springfield first responders showed Sonia
• 1:06
  Massey was recorded as not dangerous but paranoid, and as

  she refused medical treatment, EMT spoke to Sonia and cleared

  her. About 16 hours later, Sonia

  Massey again called 911 herself. To report a possible prowler.

  I keep hearing stuff on the outside of my house and it

  sounds like somebody was banging on the side of my house.

  It was. Sheriff's deputies who
• 1:30
  responded. Body camera footage shows Massey
• 1:33
  meeting the officers. Outside her.

  Home begging don't hurt me. Minutes later, Deputy Shawn
• 1:38
  Grayson, now fired and charged with first degree murder, had
• 1:42
  shot and killed Sonia Massey in her kitchen.

  In body camera footage, Grayson can be heard asking dispatchers
• 1:48
  for any record of mental health calls from Massey.

  last of multiple 911 calls made from Massey's home in the span

  Have been growing questions about former Deputy Grayson's

  employment history. Records show he worked at six

  different police departments in the span of four years.

  In a new statement tonight after releasing Grayson's personnel

  file, the Sangamon County Sheriff said, quote, no other

  law enforcement agency reported problems with Grayson before we
• 2:17

  All right, so Sonya Mason, he called the cops.

  He wanted some help. She even said on the 911 call

  that he didn't want anybody. That's prejudice being sent out.

  Sonya Mason, like many people out there, realize that there's

  huge problems going on in America.

  It's a lot of problems going on in the world, ladies and

  gentlemen. Cops are being defunded and a

  lot of cops have left their jobs.

  So the few that are left are usually recruits or people who

  do not have much training, people who are very scared and

  paranoid themselves. The reason why cops are paranoid

  is there's a lot of news articles out there that are

  stating that some of the people that are coming over our

  borders, such as gangs and people that have been released

  from prisons. Prisons in different countries

  have been completely cleaned out and they're prisoners and the

  mentally ill and a lot of crazy people have been dropped into
• 3:35
  our laps in the United States of America, as well as other
• 3:38
  countries. If you turn on the news, you're
• 3:42
  going to see that just recently 3 little girls were killed at a
• 3:46
  party. They didn't do anything wrong.

  Somebody just came in with a knife and started stabbing
• 3:51
  people. There's been a couple concerts

  of popular musicians where immigrants or whoever comes in

  and decides to start, you know, killing random people and doing
• 4:07
  horrible stuff. There's been a lot of attacks on
• 4:10
  cops over and over and over due to this fluctuation of millions
• 4:18
  of people being dropped into all these different countries.

  So unfortunately, more people but less cops, and the cops
• 4:29
  happen to not be trained very well and they're scared because
• 4:34
  they've been told that a lot of gangs have been given the green
• 4:37
  light by the cartel as well as human traffickers, that if you
• 4:41
  see a cop or a police officer killed them.

  So it's a mess. Our entire world is a mess right

  now with all that going on. We're also finding ourselves in
• 4:52
  wars where big time leaders of countries are being
• 4:56
  assassinated, bombs are being shot off, killing innocent

  people, and everybody from the cops to the military are
• 5:05
  extremely paranoid. Everybody's not knowing that
• 5:10
  they're going to live one minute to the next.

  That's no excuse for what happened with Sonya Mason,

  though. The cops came to her house.

  You heard the 911 calls and what happened was, from what I get, I

  watch some videos on the entire event with all the audio you

  won't be able to see. I'm not sure that you'll be able

  to see the entire clip on YouTube.

  YouTube censors a lot of things and because of that, we're not

  able to see the full picture. Twitter has a lot of full 100%

  videos of what was said and what happened.

  Sonya Mason went over to her stove.

  She was dealing with something that she was cooking.

  According to a lot of articles. They say it was boiling water.

  I don't know what she was going to make with it.

  Maybe spaghetti, who knows? My wife boils water all the time

  and then creates a bunch of different concoctions.

  So the last words of Sonia Mason while she was talking to the

  cops before she was executed was I rebuke you in the name of

  Jesus. And this got the cop all freaked

  out. The cop got nervous and stuff

  and started welding the gun. She said it again, I rebuke you

  in the name of Jesus. In the Bible, Jesus said this to

  Peter. Whenever Peter was trying to

  plead with him not to go to the cross, not to allow himself to

  be incarcerated, he said, I rebuke you.

  And this isn't some kind of violent threat.

  Rebuking someone in the name of Jesus can be done on all kinds

  of different things. If you think that some a pest is

  in your home or something bad as as going on, a person will say,

  I rebuke you. It's almost as if you're saying,

  you know, God deal with this problem, God deal with this
• 7:13
  issue, or, you know, no weapons that are formed against me from
• 7:18
  demons are going to do this or that.

  Unfortunately, the cop apparently is not a Christian or

  went to church or ever read the Bible or he would have known
• 7:29
  that these words were not considered a threat.

  They weren't considered something you should be worried

  about or concerned. Just the woman was scared and

  she said this in order to kind of feel as though she was
• 7:45
  protected by Jesus. I know what non believers are

  going to say. Well, obviously it didn't work

  because she's dead. Yeah, she's dead.

  I got to be honest with you, after watching the video, I I

  can't figure out one why she decided to go over to the stove

  like she did, unless she thought something was going to burn or

  the water was going to boil over.

  But even if she had planned on tossing a pot or something like

  that, I don't in any way think that that's a good reason to

  kill anybody or do something like that.

  I've seen cops where they talk people down who actually have

  guns in their hand. I've seen cops who are trained

  well enough to where though they could talk to an entire group of
• 8:38
  people that may have guns and be able to talk it down.

  As you can tell from the recordings of Sonia Massa when

  she called 911 and then the conversation she was having with
• 8:51
  the cops, she was one of those very calm, chill women.

  She wasn't yelling, she wasn't screaming, she wasn't throwing

  off any indication that she was violent or dangerous in any kind

  of way. She was just a a woman who was
• 9:08
  paranoid for good reason. I think a lot of us as Americans

  should be concerned when dealing with the cops, especially with
• 9:18
  what all is happening. I think when we're dealing with
• 9:21
  officers, we should try not to make any sudden movements and
• 9:26
  just answer their questions. Don't move around, don't put
• 9:31
  your back to them or your side or anything like that.

  Anytime I interact with cops, I even if I know that I did
• 9:39
  nothing wrong whatsoever, I always speak respectfully,
• 9:44
  calmly and all that. And I believe that that's
• 9:47
  exactly what this woman did, and she still unfortunately got
• 9:51
  killed. I'm one of these type of people
• 9:55
  where I believe that we need more cops and we need better
• 9:59
  training. I'm one of these people that

  believe that cops should be paid better.

  I'm the type of person that thinks that our firemen are
• 10:07
  heroes and our police and that we should basically praise and
• 10:14
  adhere and respect the law as well as firemen and and military
• 10:20
  and all that. But if a cop does kill somebody
• 10:26
  or a military person kill somebody that's innocent, then I
• 10:30
  feel like full investigation should be done.

  And if it comes to find out that the person killed the person for
• 10:37
  no reason whatsoever or for a really stupid reason, then I
• 10:42
  think that they should have the book thrown at them, period.

  And that's pretty much all I got to say on this, ladies and

  gentlemen. I think this was a bad kill.

  This was a a terrible hit. And I think that it's going to

  be most likely used politically. People are going to probably try
• 11:05
  to say, oh, look, you know, Donald Trump supports the cops
• 11:10
  and all that, and look what they do.

  And Donald Trump won't deny this or accept this.

  It's people's lives and people's deaths are always used as some
• 11:20
  kind of political propaganda. So I expect for the next four
• 11:25
  months, I'm going to be hearing a lot about this.

  But I'm going to tell you all right now, I think that what the

  cop did was wrong, and I think that he should pay for it.
