- 0:08That was one of multiple calls for help from the Massey home
- 0:11that same week. Tonight, we are hearing those
- 0:13pleas from Massey's mother and Sonia herself.
- 0:16Together they lay out a clearer view of Sonia Massey's mental
- 0:19state before she was shot and killed in her kitchen.
- 0:22From inside the Sangamon County home of Sonia Massey, her mother
- 0:26dialed 911 on July 5th. My daughter is being sporadic
- 0:32and she's been mentally having a mental breakdown.
- 0:39It was just after 9:00 AM. She's not a danger to herself,
- 0:44she's not a danger to me. But when she gets upset, then
- 0:50she thinks everybody after her. Sonia Massey's mother ended the
- 0:55nearly three minute call for emergency help with one final
- 0:58plea. And please don't send no
- 1:00comparative policemen that are prejudice plea.
- 1:03Paperwork filed by Springfield first responders showed Sonia
- 1:06Massey was recorded as not dangerous but paranoid, and as
- 1:10she refused medical treatment, EMT spoke to Sonia and cleared
- 1:14her. About 16 hours later, Sonia
- 1:17Massey again called 911 herself. To report a possible prowler.
- 1:22I keep hearing stuff on the outside of my house and it
- 1:26sounds like somebody was banging on the side of my house.
- 1:29It was. Sheriff's deputies who
- 1:30responded. Body camera footage shows Massey
- 1:33meeting the officers. Outside her.
- 1:34Home begging don't hurt me. Minutes later, Deputy Shawn
- 1:38Grayson, now fired and charged with first degree murder, had
- 1:42shot and killed Sonia Massey in her kitchen.
- 1:45In body camera footage, Grayson can be heard asking dispatchers
- 1:48for any record of mental health calls from Massey.
- 1:51The call. Grayson responded to was the
- 1:53last of multiple 911 calls made from Massey's home in the span
- 1:57of. 48 hours. Now there.
- 2:00Have been growing questions about former Deputy Grayson's
- 2:02employment history. Records show he worked at six
- 2:05different police departments in the span of four years.
- 2:07In a new statement tonight after releasing Grayson's personnel
- 2:10file, the Sangamon County Sheriff said, quote, no other
- 2:13law enforcement agency reported problems with Grayson before we
- 2:17hired him. Judy Watch.
- 2:25All right, so Sonya Mason, he called the cops.
- 2:32He wanted some help. She even said on the 911 call
- 2:36that he didn't want anybody. That's prejudice being sent out.
- 2:41Sonya Mason, like many people out there, realize that there's
- 2:45huge problems going on in America.
- 2:48It's a lot of problems going on in the world, ladies and
- 2:51gentlemen. Cops are being defunded and a
- 2:55lot of cops have left their jobs.
- 2:58So the few that are left are usually recruits or people who
- 3:03do not have much training, people who are very scared and
- 3:07paranoid themselves. The reason why cops are paranoid
- 3:12is there's a lot of news articles out there that are
- 3:15stating that some of the people that are coming over our
- 3:19borders, such as gangs and people that have been released
- 3:23from prisons. Prisons in different countries
- 3:26have been completely cleaned out and they're prisoners and the
- 3:30mentally ill and a lot of crazy people have been dropped into
- 3:35our laps in the United States of America, as well as other
- 3:38countries. If you turn on the news, you're
- 3:42going to see that just recently 3 little girls were killed at a
- 3:46party. They didn't do anything wrong.
- 3:48Somebody just came in with a knife and started stabbing
- 3:51people. There's been a couple concerts
- 3:56of popular musicians where immigrants or whoever comes in
- 4:02and decides to start, you know, killing random people and doing
- 4:07horrible stuff. There's been a lot of attacks on
- 4:10cops over and over and over due to this fluctuation of millions
- 4:18of people being dropped into all these different countries.
- 4:23So unfortunately, more people but less cops, and the cops
- 4:29happen to not be trained very well and they're scared because
- 4:34they've been told that a lot of gangs have been given the green
- 4:37light by the cartel as well as human traffickers, that if you
- 4:41see a cop or a police officer killed them.
- 4:45So it's a mess. Our entire world is a mess right
- 4:48now with all that going on. We're also finding ourselves in
- 4:52wars where big time leaders of countries are being
- 4:56assassinated, bombs are being shot off, killing innocent
- 5:00people, and everybody from the cops to the military are
- 5:05extremely paranoid. Everybody's not knowing that
- 5:10they're going to live one minute to the next.
- 5:13That's no excuse for what happened with Sonya Mason,
- 5:16though. The cops came to her house.
- 5:19You heard the 911 calls and what happened was, from what I get, I
- 5:25watch some videos on the entire event with all the audio you
- 5:30won't be able to see. I'm not sure that you'll be able
- 5:33to see the entire clip on YouTube.
- 5:36YouTube censors a lot of things and because of that, we're not
- 5:40able to see the full picture. Twitter has a lot of full 100%
- 5:46videos of what was said and what happened.
- 5:49Sonya Mason went over to her stove.
- 5:52She was dealing with something that she was cooking.
- 5:57According to a lot of articles. They say it was boiling water.
- 6:00I don't know what she was going to make with it.
- 6:02Maybe spaghetti, who knows? My wife boils water all the time
- 6:06and then creates a bunch of different concoctions.
- 6:13So the last words of Sonia Mason while she was talking to the
- 6:16cops before she was executed was I rebuke you in the name of
- 6:22Jesus. And this got the cop all freaked
- 6:26out. The cop got nervous and stuff
- 6:28and started welding the gun. She said it again, I rebuke you
- 6:32in the name of Jesus. In the Bible, Jesus said this to
- 6:37Peter. Whenever Peter was trying to
- 6:40plead with him not to go to the cross, not to allow himself to
- 6:44be incarcerated, he said, I rebuke you.
- 6:49And this isn't some kind of violent threat.
- 6:52Rebuking someone in the name of Jesus can be done on all kinds
- 6:57of different things. If you think that some a pest is
- 7:02in your home or something bad as as going on, a person will say,
- 7:07I rebuke you. It's almost as if you're saying,
- 7:10you know, God deal with this problem, God deal with this
- 7:13issue, or, you know, no weapons that are formed against me from
- 7:18demons are going to do this or that.
- 7:21Unfortunately, the cop apparently is not a Christian or
- 7:25went to church or ever read the Bible or he would have known
- 7:29that these words were not considered a threat.
- 7:34They weren't considered something you should be worried
- 7:37about or concerned. Just the woman was scared and
- 7:42she said this in order to kind of feel as though she was
- 7:45protected by Jesus. I know what non believers are
- 7:49going to say. Well, obviously it didn't work
- 7:51because she's dead. Yeah, she's dead.
- 7:58I got to be honest with you, after watching the video, I I
- 8:02can't figure out one why she decided to go over to the stove
- 8:06like she did, unless she thought something was going to burn or
- 8:10the water was going to boil over.
- 8:13But even if she had planned on tossing a pot or something like
- 8:18that, I don't in any way think that that's a good reason to
- 8:22kill anybody or do something like that.
- 8:26I've seen cops where they talk people down who actually have
- 8:30guns in their hand. I've seen cops who are trained
- 8:34well enough to where though they could talk to an entire group of
- 8:38people that may have guns and be able to talk it down.
- 8:43As you can tell from the recordings of Sonia Massa when
- 8:47she called 911 and then the conversation she was having with
- 8:51the cops, she was one of those very calm, chill women.
- 8:55She wasn't yelling, she wasn't screaming, she wasn't throwing
- 8:59off any indication that she was violent or dangerous in any kind
- 9:04of way. She was just a a woman who was
- 9:08paranoid for good reason. I think a lot of us as Americans
- 9:13should be concerned when dealing with the cops, especially with
- 9:18what all is happening. I think when we're dealing with
- 9:21officers, we should try not to make any sudden movements and
- 9:26just answer their questions. Don't move around, don't put
- 9:31your back to them or your side or anything like that.
- 9:33Anytime I interact with cops, I even if I know that I did
- 9:39nothing wrong whatsoever, I always speak respectfully,
- 9:44calmly and all that. And I believe that that's
- 9:47exactly what this woman did, and she still unfortunately got
- 9:51killed. I'm one of these type of people
- 9:55where I believe that we need more cops and we need better
- 9:59training. I'm one of these people that
- 10:01believe that cops should be paid better.
- 10:04I'm the type of person that thinks that our firemen are
- 10:07heroes and our police and that we should basically praise and
- 10:14adhere and respect the law as well as firemen and and military
- 10:20and all that. But if a cop does kill somebody
- 10:26or a military person kill somebody that's innocent, then I
- 10:30feel like full investigation should be done.
- 10:34And if it comes to find out that the person killed the person for
- 10:37no reason whatsoever or for a really stupid reason, then I
- 10:42think that they should have the book thrown at them, period.
- 10:48And that's pretty much all I got to say on this, ladies and
- 10:51gentlemen. I think this was a bad kill.
- 10:54This was a a terrible hit. And I think that it's going to
- 10:58be most likely used politically. People are going to probably try
- 11:05to say, oh, look, you know, Donald Trump supports the cops
- 11:10and all that, and look what they do.
- 11:12And Donald Trump won't deny this or accept this.
- 11:15It's people's lives and people's deaths are always used as some
- 11:20kind of political propaganda. So I expect for the next four
- 11:25months, I'm going to be hearing a lot about this.
- 11:28But I'm going to tell you all right now, I think that what the
- 11:30cop did was wrong, and I think that he should pay for it.
- 11:37Oof. All right, that's all I got to
- 11:40say. This will be posted on my radio
- 11:43as well as Rumble.
