- 0:18SPEAKER_06: It's time for the Dimple Report.
- 0:22SPEAKER_06: News, last, and Dimplified Moments with your host, founder, and Chief Doubles Officer of National Doubles Day, Graceful Grady.
- 0:31SPEAKER_06: Remember, dimples are more than a trait.
- 0:34SPEAKER_06: They're a reason to celebrate.
- 0:38SPEAKER_06: Oh yeah!
- 0:57SPEAKER_07: Welcome back, everyone, to the Dimple Report, the official podcast of National Dimples Day.
- 1:04SPEAKER_07: I'm your host, Grace BulGrady, founder and chief Dimples Officer of National Dimples Day.
- 1:10SPEAKER_07: Dimples Nation, we're back with another interesting episode.
- 1:14SPEAKER_07: And today, we got a little bit of everything.
- 1:17SPEAKER_07: First, we got some serious news coming out of the sports world, a basketball legend saying goodbye, and some wonderful news from Hollywood.
- 1:26SPEAKER_07: And later, we're going to step into the world where the impossible became the possible, where laughter became legendary, and where a certain facial feature connects some remarkable people.
- 1:38SPEAKER_07: But first, Dimples Nation, you know how we get started.
- 1:41SPEAKER_07: It's time for Dimples and the Headlines.
- 2:22SPEAKER_07: Who, as we know, has those recognizable cheek dimples.
- 2:26SPEAKER_07: Unfortunately, Hurts is dealing with a medical condition involving blood clots, and the latest reports indicate that he is expected to miss the remainder of the 2026 NFL season.
- 2:38SPEAKER_07: According to the Eagles, Hertz initially experienced discomfort in his left cap.
- 2:42SPEAKER_07: Doctors discovered a superficial blood clot, but subsequent testing revealed a more serious condition known as deep vein thrombosis, along with blood clots in both lungs.
- 2:54SPEAKER_07: The encouraging news is that Hertz is reportedly stable and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
- 3:00SPEAKER_07: However, because he's receiving blood-thinning medication, he cannot participate in contact football activities during the treatment.
- 3:08SPEAKER_07: From me and everyone here at the Dimple Report, we're wishing Jalen Hurts a safe, complete, and speedy recovery.
- 3:16SPEAKER_07: Take care of yourself, Jalen.
- 3:18SPEAKER_07: Football will be waiting.
- 3:22SPEAKER_07: Now, Dimple's Nation, we're moving from the NFL to the WNBA, where we're celebrating an incredible basketball career.
- 3:30SPEAKER_07: NECA Agumake, the talented basketball star with that beautiful cheek dimple, which was, by the way, discovered by our dimple detection unit, has announced her retirement from professional basketball following the 2026 season.
- 3:45SPEAKER_07: Now, I have to admit, I'm a little late bringing this announcement to you, but there's a good reason.
- 3:51SPEAKER_07: As many of you know, last week I decided to replay our Arena Grande Dimple Spotlight episode, and that's because the Dippy Report has officially entered the 31st Webby Awards.
- 4:10SPEAKER_07: Thank you, thank you.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: So I thought it was important to give our listeners another opportunity to hear the very episode we submitted for consideration, which is season two, episode 29.
- 4:22SPEAKER_07: So NECA Agumake, I haven't forgotten about you.
- 4:26SPEAKER_07: Let me get started right now.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 4:28SPEAKER_07: Dimples Nation, what a career we're celebrating.
- 4:31SPEAKER_07: NECA entered the WNBA as the number one overall draft pick in 2012.
- 4:37SPEAKER_07: She went on to become Rookie of the Year, a league MVP, a WNBA champion, and an 11-time All-Star.
- 4:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:47SPEAKER_07: And guess what?
- 4:48SPEAKER_07: Her influence didn't stop on the basketball court.
- 4:51SPEAKER_07: She also served as president of the Women's National Basketball Players Association, advocating for the women who make the league what it is.
- 4:59SPEAKER_07: Now, ladies and gentlemen, that's leadership.
- 5:02SPEAKER_07: NECA Agumake, congratulations on a remarkable career from all of us here at the Dimple Report.
- 5:09SPEAKER_07: We wish you tremendous success in your next chapter.
- 5:15SPEAKER_07: Dimple's Nation, let's close our headline news with some happy news coming out of Hollywood.
- 5:21SPEAKER_07: Actress Zay Beats, known for her performances in Atlanta, Deadpool 2, and Joker, has announced that she and her husband, David Rysdor, are expecting their first child.
- 5:33SPEAKER_07: And Zayzy, who has a distinctive left chin, showed off her baby bump while attending a red carpet premiere in New York.
- 5:41SPEAKER_07: Now, for those of you who may not know, Zay has built quite an impressive acting career between television, action movies, and dramatic roles.
- 5:50SPEAKER_07: And now she's preparing for what may be her most exciting vote, motherhood.
- 5:57SPEAKER_07: You know, Dimple's Nation, we have to wonder, will that little bundle of joy inherit moms cleft chin?
- 6:04SPEAKER_05: Hmm.
- 6:05SPEAKER_07: Now that might be a winning wager for Dimple Pets.
- 6:09SPEAKER_07: By the way, coming soon.
- 6:11SPEAKER_07: So, congratulations to Zazy Beats and David Weisdoll from everyone here at the Dimple Report.
- 6:20SPEAKER_07: Now, before we continue, here's a little heads up.
- 6:27SPEAKER_07: Next week's episode will be a special Halloween edition of The Dipper Report.
- 6:33SPEAKER_07: So you definitely don't want to miss that one.
- 6:36SPEAKER_07: But today, we're about to unlock the secrets of a man who made the impossible look easy.
- 6:42SPEAKER_07: He escaped handcuffs, chains, locked containers, and situations that would terrify just about everyone.
- 6:49SPEAKER_07: And underneath all that mystery and showmanship was a legendary entertainer with a cleft chin, aka Chin Dimple, aka Butt Chin.
- 6:59SPEAKER_07: Dimple's Nation, it's time for our Dimple Spotlight.
- 7:03SPEAKER_07: Now, I'm gonna take us back to a time when entertainment didn't involve smartphones, computers, or special effects generated by artificial intelligence.
- 7:13SPEAKER_07: Instead, people gathered in theaters, sometimes by the thousands, to witness a man who appeared capable of defying the laws of nature.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Who are you?
- 7:23SPEAKER_07: His name was Harry Houdini.
- 7:25SPEAKER_07: And yes, Dimple's Nation, the legendary Houdini, had a clept chin.
- 7:30SPEAKER_07: But before he became one of the most famous entertainers in the world, he was a young boy, a rabbi's son named Eric Wise.
- 7:38SPEAKER_07: He was born on March 24, 1874 in Budapest and immigrated to the United States with his family as a child.
- 7:47SPEAKER_07: His family eventually settled in Appleton, Wisconsin.
- 7:51SPEAKER_07: Growing up, young Eric developed a fascination with magic, physical challenges, and performing.
- 7:57SPEAKER_07: And here's something interesting.
- 7:58SPEAKER_07: The name Harry Houdini, of course, wasn't his birth name.
- 8:02SPEAKER_07: He adopted the surname Houdini as a tribute to the famous French magician.
- 8:08SPEAKER_07: Now, Houdini began his performing career with traditional magic tricks, which, of course, included card tricks, but eventually discovered something that would make him internationally famous.
- 8:19SPEAKER_07: Drum roll, please.
- 8:28SPEAKER_07: It was escapes, and I'm not talking about escaping from your responsibilities.
- 8:33SPEAKER_07: Dimple's Nation.
- 8:34SPEAKER_07: I'm talking about escaping from handcuffs, chains, strait jackets, locked containers, and even underwater situations.
- 8:43SPEAKER_07: One of his most famous performances was the Chinese water torture cell.
- 8:47SPEAKER_07: During this dangerous-looking escape, Houdini was suspended upside down and lowered a water-filled cabinet with his ankles secured in restraints.
- 8:56SPEAKER_07: The audience watched in suspense, wondering whether he can free himself before running out of air.
- 9:02SPEAKER_07: And somehow, he emerged victorious.
- 9:05SPEAKER_07: Can you imagine sitting in that audience?
- 9:07SPEAKER_07: He probably wouldn't even want to blink.
- 9:09SPEAKER_07: Now, another famous stunt involved Houdini being suspended high above a crowd.
- 9:14SPEAKER_07: People would gather below as he twisted, turned, and struggled until he managed to free himself.
- 9:19SPEAKER_07: Dimple's Nation.
- 9:20SPEAKER_07: Houdini wasn't simply a magician, he was an extraordinary showman.
- 9:25SPEAKER_07: He understood something that entertainers still understand today.
- 9:29SPEAKER_07: Sometimes the anticipation is just as exciting as the performance itself.
- 9:35SPEAKER_07: Later in life, Houdini became a determined investigator of fraudulent spiritualists.
- 9:41SPEAKER_07: These were individuals who claimed they could communicate with the dead.
- 9:45SPEAKER_07: Houdini, who had experienced the loss of his beloved mother, was deeply interested in the possibility of communicating with those who had passed away.
- 9:53SPEAKER_07: But he also recognized that some people were exploiting grieving families.
- 9:58SPEAKER_07: So he began exposing the tricks that were used.
- 10:00SPEAKER_07: He even testified before Congress in 1926 in support of efforts to regulate fortune telling in Washington, D.C.
- 10:08SPEAKER_07: Think about that dimension, a man who made his living creating illusions, was also dedicated to exposing illusions used to deceive people.
- 10:18SPEAKER_07: Now, unfortunately, Houdini's life ended much too soon.
- 10:22SPEAKER_07: He died on October 31st, 1926, at the age of 52 from peritonitis associated with a ruptured appendix.
- 10:32SPEAKER_07: Did you catch that date?
- 10:34SPEAKER_07: October 31st, Halloween.
- 10:37SPEAKER_07: That's right, the world's most famous escape artist died on Halloween.
- 10:43SPEAKER_07: And here's an incredible connection to our show.
- 10:45SPEAKER_07: This Halloween marks exactly 100 years since Harry Houdini's death.
- 10:51SPEAKER_07: Think about this.
- 10:52SPEAKER_07: A full century later, his name remains synonymous with impossible escapes.
- 10:57SPEAKER_07: Whenever somebody manages to get out of a, how can I say, a seemingly hopeless situation, what do they say?
- 11:05SPEAKER_07: Who do you think you are?
- 11:06SPEAKER_07: Houdini?
- 11:07SPEAKER_07: That's how you know somebody has become a legend.
- 11:11SPEAKER_07: Me, personally, I know what it's like.
- 11:13SPEAKER_07: I hear people use my name all the time.
- 11:15SPEAKER_07: He offered a graceful apology that felt sincere and warm.
- 11:19SPEAKER_07: Or here's another one.
- 11:20SPEAKER_07: The dancer's graceful steps floated across the stage.
- 11:24SPEAKER_07: So again, I know what it's like.
- 11:30SPEAKER_07: No, yes?
- 11:32SPEAKER_07: Moving on.
- 11:33SPEAKER_07: Dimples Nation, we salute Harry Houdini, the master of escape, the king of illusion, and an owner of a collector chin.
- 11:42SPEAKER_07: Grab that pen and a piece of paper.
- 11:43SPEAKER_07: After this quick break, it's trivia time.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Hi, cute dimples.

- 12:11SPEAKER_00: I feel something brewing between us.
- 12:13SPEAKER_04: Sure.
- 12:17SPEAKER_07: Welcome back, Dimples Nation.
- 12:18SPEAKER_07: You know what time it is.
- 12:20SPEAKER_07: It's trivia time.
- 12:34SPEAKER_07: All right.

- 14:09SPEAKER_07: Now, you know we like to dedicate a song to our Dimple Spotlight.
- 14:13SPEAKER_07: And I also like to give our singing group, Dimpo Suave, and the Dimplettes a challenge.
- 14:19SPEAKER_07: This week, the challenge is a song for Harry Houdini with reggae, house, India rhythms, and a drop of Ama Piano.
- 14:27SPEAKER_07: Oh, by the way, I want to say thanks to the listeners who are sending emails on how much they like the podcast and especially the music.
- 14:36SPEAKER_07: Well, with that said, let's keep it going.
- 14:39SPEAKER_07: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Dimpo Suave and the Demplettes.
- 14:54SPEAKER_09: Tick, tock, hear the clock, turn the key and break the lock.
- 14:58SPEAKER_09: Everybody's watching me, but the magic's in the mystery.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: Nobody can hold him.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: Watch the story unfold.

- 15:43SPEAKER_09: Every Houdini made his way.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: Jays on his hat, it's on the door.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: Crowds kept coming back from home.

- 16:04SPEAKER_02: He's no longer there.
- 16:05SPEAKER_03: Just beat.
- 16:21SPEAKER_03: It's too big.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: What a rise and time running.
- 17:17SPEAKER_12: Grateful Graddy brings the story alive.
- 17:22SPEAKER_12: National dimples delet the spirit rise.

- 17:33SPEAKER_12: It's all the time.
- 17:34SPEAKER_12: Dimples will be the dimplit stings.
- 17:37SPEAKER_12: Celebrating.
- 17:39SPEAKER_03: Dimples will be the dimplit stings.
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: Celebrating.
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: It's all the time.
- 17:54SPEAKER_03: It's a legend's free.
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: A hundred years ago, eight minutes to be good.
- 18:13SPEAKER_05: The crates who change can hold his name.
- 18:40SPEAKER_07: With their dedicated tribute to the legendary Harry Houdini.
- 18:44SPEAKER_07: And now, from the world of magic to the world of comedy, it's time for our Dimple Drop.
- 18:50SPEAKER_07: We will be right back after this quick commercial break.
- 18:55SPEAKER_03: What's everybody smiling about?
- 18:57SPEAKER_03: It's el reporte de los soyuelos.
- 19:01SPEAKER_13: Dimpullet boto.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: However you say it, there's only one dimple report.
- 19:07SPEAKER_13: The official podcast of National Dimples Day.
- 19:11SPEAKER_03: The Dimple Report.
- 19:12SPEAKER_13: El Reporte de los Soyuelos.
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: One world a whole lot of smiles.
- 19:23SPEAKER_07: Dimple's Nation is time for our Dimple Drop.
- 19:27SPEAKER_07: And today, we're not dropping just one legendary entertainer.
- 19:30SPEAKER_07: We're dropping two.
- 19:32SPEAKER_07: Two men who helped define comedy for generations.
- 19:35SPEAKER_07: Two men who can make audiences laugh without saying a single word.
- 19:40SPEAKER_07: And yes, two men we're recognizing for their cleft chins.
- 19:44SPEAKER_07: I'm talking about the legendary comedy duel, Laurel and Hardy.
- 19:49SPEAKER_07: Their full names, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
- 19:53SPEAKER_07: Now, if you're familiar with classic comedy, you already know these two gentlemen.
- 19:58SPEAKER_07: Stan Laurel was the thinner, often confused, innocent looking character.
- 20:03SPEAKER_07: Oliver Hardy was the larger, more dignified gentleman who always seemed to be frustrated by whatever Stan had just done.
- 20:11SPEAKER_07: And believe me, Stan could get them into some serious situations.
- 20:15SPEAKER_07: One of the things that made Laurel and Hardy so special was their incredible chemistry.
- 20:20SPEAKER_07: Stan was born in England in 1890, while Oliver Hardy was born in Harlem.
- 20:26SPEAKER_03: Say what?
- 20:28SPEAKER_07: No, no, no, no, no.
- 20:29SPEAKER_07: Not Harlem in New York.
- 20:31SPEAKER_07: Harlem, Georgia.
- 20:33SPEAKER_07: Not too far from Augusta in 1892.
- 20:36SPEAKER_07: Now, the two eventually found themselves working in Hollywood, and by 1927, their legendary comedy partnership had taken shape.
- 20:46SPEAKER_07: Their comedy was built around misunderstandings, accidents, physical humor, and the kind of everyday situations that somehow turned into a complete disaster.
- 20:55SPEAKER_07: Oliver Hardy, well, he had one of the most famous expressions in comedy history.
- 21:01SPEAKER_07: Whenever something went wrong, he slowly turned towards the camera with that look of complete disbelief.
- 21:08SPEAKER_07: You didn't even need dialogue.
- 21:09SPEAKER_07: That expression told the entire story.
- 21:12SPEAKER_07: And let's not forget one of their most recognizable lines.
- 21:16SPEAKER_07: Well, here's another nice mess you got me into.
- 21:20SPEAKER_07: Now, Dimple's Nation.
- 21:21SPEAKER_07: Lauren Hardy successfully made the transition from solid films to talking pictures, something many performers struggled to accomplish.
- 21:30SPEAKER_07: One of their films included The Music Box.
- 21:33SPEAKER_07: That 1932 comedy won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Subject.
- 21:39SPEAKER_07: The film featured the two attempted to deliver a piano up an enormous outdoor staircase.
- 21:45SPEAKER_07: Sounds simple enough, right?
- 21:47SPEAKER_07: Well, not when Laura and Hardy are involved.
- 21:50SPEAKER_07: And here's something else that's remarkable.
- 21:52SPEAKER_07: The two appeared together in more than 100 films, shorts, and other productions.
- 21:58SPEAKER_07: Their influence extended.
- 22:00SPEAKER_07: Far beyond Hollywood.
- 22:01SPEAKER_07: Generations of comedians learned from their timing, their expressions, and their ability to make ordinary situations hilariously complicated.
- 22:10SPEAKER_07: Stan Laurel died in 1965, and Oliver Hardy passed away in 1957.
- 22:17SPEAKER_07: Today, we're recognizing another connection between these two entertainers.
- 22:21SPEAKER_07: Their cleft chins, two comedy legends, one unforgettable partnership, and a whole lot of laughter.
- 22:28SPEAKER_07: Now, Dimpus Nation, you can see Laurel Hardy struggled to get that piano up all those stairs and the music box.
- 22:36SPEAKER_07: And I'm pretty sure during their time, they walked away with a few scrapes and cuts.
- 22:40SPEAKER_07: And you know what?
- 22:41SPEAKER_07: If anybody can use a band-aid, it was Laurel and Hardy.
- 22:45SPEAKER_07: And speaking of band-aids, did you know that the man credited with inventing the band-aid, Earl Dixon, a dimple drop feature in episode three of this season, also had a cleft chin.
- 22:56SPEAKER_07: That's right, even the band-aid has connections to the dimples nation.
- 23:00SPEAKER_07: We will be right back.
- 23:04SPEAKER_10: Real cap shop.
- 23:07SPEAKER_10: Yo, yo, yo.
- 23:14SPEAKER_10: Got them bugs, showing proud.
- 23:17SPEAKER_10: One of them bugs, say it loud.
- 23:20SPEAKER_10: Love them bugs.
- 23:21SPEAKER_10: You be loan.
- 23:22SPEAKER_10: On the dip for the board.
- 23:24SPEAKER_10: Come see the low.
- 23:26SPEAKER_10: Great for greedy on the mic.
- 23:35SPEAKER_10: That's good for me.
- 23:40SPEAKER_10: I didn't like the mic.
- 23:43SPEAKER_10: I need to put it in the book.
- 23:45SPEAKER_10: I didn't bumper the book.
- 23:51SPEAKER_10: That is the bumper for it.
- 23:52SPEAKER_10: We're not feeling the show.
- 23:59SPEAKER_10: Where's the master feel that show's Nation is halftime, and you know what that means.
- 24:17SPEAKER_07: It's poetry time with Dimple Versus.
- 24:30SPEAKER_11: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the show.
- 24:35SPEAKER_11: Now it's Dimple Versus.
- 24:37SPEAKER_11: Let the good vibes flow.
- 24:40SPEAKER_11: With graceful Granny on the mic so steady from the Dimple Report and the poetry's dimple ready.
- 24:56SPEAKER_07: All right, dimples nation, let me grab my shades.
- 25:06SPEAKER_07: A little cleft, a dimple bright, can turn a moment into light.
- 25:11SPEAKER_07: Through magic, laughter, near and far.
- 25:15SPEAKER_07: Our little dimples make us stars.
- 25:18SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 25:26SPEAKER_07: We will be right back.
- 25:29SPEAKER_04: Cheek dimples, sweet and fine.
- 25:31SPEAKER_04: Chinzel, that perfect line.
- 25:33SPEAKER_04: Back dimples, ooh, they shine.
- 25:35SPEAKER_04: Every curve, every smile divine.
- 25:37SPEAKER_04: Confidence, that's the core.
- 25:39SPEAKER_04: Style in love, we give you more.
- 25:41SPEAKER_04: Flaunch your dimples, there we're door.
- 25:43SPEAKER_04: Show your charm at the dimple store.
- 25:46SPEAKER_04: Every dimple, every dimple deserves to shine.
- 25:50SPEAKER_04: The dimple store the car.
- 25:59SPEAKER_07: Dimples Nation, it's time for film and TV Dimplified.
- 26:04SPEAKER_07: And today, we're heading to Nashville, Tennessee for a little mystery, music in suspense.
- 26:10SPEAKER_07: Academy Award-winning actress Jessica Chastain, who has a color left chin, stars in the upcoming Netflix thriller, Heartland.
- 26:19SPEAKER_07: Now, Jessica Chastain is no stranger to powerful performances.
- 26:24SPEAKER_07: She appeared in films such as The Help and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which, by the way, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
- 26:34SPEAKER_07: She's taken on another intriguing role.
- 26:36SPEAKER_07: In Heartland, Chastain portrays Misty Jones, a former country music star who has withdrawn from the spotlight.
- 26:44SPEAKER_07: But when her niece, an expiring musician, goes missing in Nashville, Misty is drawn back into a world she thought she had left behind.
- 26:51SPEAKER_07: As she searches for the answers, she encounters secrets, danger, and painful memories from her own past.
- 26:58SPEAKER_07: Now, Dippus Nation?
- 27:00SPEAKER_07: That sounds like a movie with some serious twists and turns.
- 27:03SPEAKER_07: And here's something interesting.
- 27:04SPEAKER_07: The movie was filmed in Georgia, including production at Shadow Box Studios, which is right here in Atlanta.
- 27:12SPEAKER_07: Another Georgia Connection.
- 27:14SPEAKER_07: Now, Heartland is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November the 13th.
- 27:19SPEAKER_07: And of course, here at the Demple Report, we're keeping our eyes on Jessica Chastain and their recognizable Kleptochin.
- 27:28SPEAKER_07: Jessica Chastain and Heartland, you have been officially dimplified.
- 27:32SPEAKER_07: We will be right back with everyone's favorite, my fantasy dimpled giraffe team.
- 27:39SPEAKER_07: There's a pattern hiding in plain sight.
- 27:42SPEAKER_08: The last three Super Bowl MVPs all had some form of dimple.
- 27:48SPEAKER_08: The latest Major League Baseball MVPs, some form of dimple.
- 27:53SPEAKER_08: The latest best actor and best actress Oscar winners, some form of dimple.
- 27:58SPEAKER_08: The last three masters champions, some form of dimple.
- 28:03SPEAKER_08: We're not saying dimples create champions.
- 28:06SPEAKER_08: We're saying champions with dimples keep showing up.
- 28:09SPEAKER_08: Now imagine turning that pattern into a prediction.
- 28:12SPEAKER_08: Dimple Bets.
- 28:14SPEAKER_08: Where the next question could be, will the next champion have some form of dimples?
- 28:19SPEAKER_08: Place your bets.
- 28:21SPEAKER_08: Dimple bets.
- 28:23SPEAKER_07: Coming soon.
- 28:26SPEAKER_07: Alright, Dimple's Nation.
- 28:28SPEAKER_07: It's time for our Fantasy Dimpled Giraffe T presented by Dimple Bets.
- 28:34SPEAKER_07: Coming soon.
- 28:35SPEAKER_07: Dimples Nation, and this week I'm selecting.
- 28:43SPEAKER_07: Victor Wimbanyama of San Antonio Spurs.
- 28:46SPEAKER_07: Bruh.
- 28:47SPEAKER_07: That's right.
- 28:48SPEAKER_07: Wimby, the 7'4 French sensation with those cheek dimples.
- 28:52SPEAKER_07: Now Dimple's Nation.
- 28:54SPEAKER_07: Wimby had a rough night Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
- 28:58SPEAKER_07: He scored just 12 points, shooting 1 for 13 from the field.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: Rewind.
- 29:07SPEAKER_07: And if that wasn't bad enough, Oklahoma City's 7 foot-3 rookie, Mara, actually blocked Wimby's dunk attempt.
- 29:15SPEAKER_07: Yep, somebody blocked Wimby trying to dunk.
- 29:18SPEAKER_07: And as they say, but wait, there's more.
- 29:21SPEAKER_07: Mara went down the court and threw down a dunk of his own.
- 29:25SPEAKER_07: Now you know that had to sting.
- 29:27SPEAKER_07: But here's why I'm drafting Wimby.
- 29:29SPEAKER_07: I believe he's got something to prove.
- 29:32SPEAKER_07: Now the Spurs face the Houston Rockets Friday night, and something tells me for Wimby's coming into the game with a little extra motivation.
- 29:41SPEAKER_07: Will we see a monster performance?
- 29:44SPEAKER_07: I wouldn't be surprised.
- 29:45SPEAKER_07: So, Commissioner, wherever you are, officially submitting my dimpled pick, Victor Wimba Yama.
- 29:52SPEAKER_07: And Wemby, if you're listening, Friday night, it's time to remind everybody who you are.
