- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop so How much do you think
- 0:32you spend time in a state of? Awe, like, do you really walk
- 0:38around in your world looking for things that are absolutely like,
- 0:44wow? Or do you just go through the
- 0:47day Meandering, maybe here and there, you'll pick up some and
- 0:51be like, that's cool. But do you really think you
- 0:53spend time cultivating and working on a state of awe?
- 0:58And looking at the world? Like the wonderous place that it
- 1:02is. So this is something that I
- 1:04really try to work on for myself, you know, regularly
- 1:08because it makes you, it just lifts your soul, it puts you in
- 1:13a different place of Attraction. It puts you energetically on a
- 1:17different plane. It's scientifically proven that
- 1:20the happier happier, you are. The more you pour into that side
- 1:24of yourself, the more quality of a life you have the better
- 1:30things. Happened to you, the better,
- 1:32your health is the better. Your Existence has the better,
- 1:35your relationships are everything becomes better when
- 1:38you approach it and you have a higher state of happiness.
- 1:42And for me that's that's cultivating.
- 1:46A state of awe like just looking at things and being like, wow,
- 1:49this is amazing. It's so wonderous and it doesn't
- 1:52matter what it is. It doesn't matter what you're
- 1:53looking at. You know, I obviously record
- 1:56this from the chicken coop because it's one of my happy
- 1:58places and I'm me coming out here and watching them in their,
- 2:04in their little world and watching how they develop their
- 2:07flock and how you can see who's in charge and how you can watch
- 2:12who treats, who which way and how they they blend together.
- 2:17It's literally to me. One of the coolest things that I
- 2:21have ever seen. Like watching, I have this whole
- 2:23little group of babies that I got at Tractor Supply and one of
- 2:28my hens, adopted them for me, which was Fabulous.
- 2:31She raised them and now there are seven of them and they're
- 2:35they're like medium girls early teenagers at this point and they
- 2:38are really trying to be like big girls and they are testing the
- 2:43waters to see how far they can go.
- 2:45And in this you know the hierarchy of chickens there is a
- 2:49really as a pecking order. It is real.
- 2:51That's where that phrase comes from.
- 2:53It is definitely real and I've got some really, you know,
- 2:57dominant hens that do. Not like to give up any space
- 3:02and then the rest of them are pretty easy going.
- 3:04But these little girls are trying to test the water and
- 3:07they're trying to get in there. And it all comes down to when
- 3:09you eat, where you eat where you sleep, there's all these little
- 3:14patterns about them and I watch them and observe them all the
- 3:17time to see how they're doing. And it for me, this triggers, a
- 3:22state of awe. Like I would have never thought
- 3:26that chickens are that fascinating.
- 3:29I would never thought they'd have Our whole language.
- 3:32I would never have understood that if I hadn't had them and
- 3:35been with them at this depth, like I am here just like the
- 3:38fact that the rooster can make one sound and the entire flock.
- 3:42No matter where they are freeze because there's a threat and he
- 3:45puts out an alert and everybody freezes.
- 3:47They stop whatever they're doing and they just freeze and you
- 3:50wouldn't, maybe you didn't know that, maybe you didn't know
- 3:53that, but it's pretty cool to watch and then he makes another
- 3:55sound and they all come running and he stands there and watches
- 3:58them Run for Cover and he's the one.
- 4:00Out front. He's that chivalrous male
- 4:03standing they're out, front making sure that they're all
- 4:05protected. He's the one that's going to
- 4:06take on that Hawk and has to protect them from anything
- 4:11happening to them but I would never.
- 4:14And and the day that did happen by the way, I was in a complete
- 4:18and total state of awe to the point where I actually cried
- 4:21because I couldn't believe how cool he was that he would do
- 4:23something like this. I couldn't believe that he would
- 4:26actually put himself In Harm's Way to protect these girls.
- 4:30And for me, that was like, you know, that old Paula Cole song
- 4:35of where have all the Cowboy's gone.
- 4:36Well, I have one and he's in a chicken for him and he's here at
- 4:39my chicken coop and I and I love him for it.
- 4:42He's just the coolest thing ever.
- 4:45And I really genuinely believe that I am in awe of him, for his
- 4:50willingness to do that. I watch how he goes around and
- 4:53he pulls fruit and berries off of our trees and drops them on
- 4:59the ground. So that the hens you can eat
- 5:00them because he's quite bigger quite a bit bigger than the
- 5:04hens, and he drops them for him. He doesn't eat them himself.
- 5:06He feeds the girls that to me. I could stand there and say,
- 5:10wow, how cool is that? So my point of telling you all
- 5:14about chickens and this is that this is up way I get my, ah, I
- 5:19get my off fixed in this place. I also get it from watching
- 5:23flowers. I also get it from watching the
- 5:25world around me, seeing the trees and different light.
- 5:28Looking at all these little things, because If we stay and
- 5:31we just look for odd in our outcomes.
- 5:34And what we're achieving personally, there are days where
- 5:37we will be starved, we will be starved for on it and we will
- 5:42leave feeling depleted. But if we stop, and we just look
- 5:46around us at the world that the universe and God have given us.
- 5:51We can pause and we can go. Wow, there is so much here.
- 5:56We that we could just be infinitely amazed with if we
- 6:00just paused and looked and it recalibrates you energetically
- 6:04it pulls you into a different headspace.
- 6:06It puts you in a place where all of a sudden now you can really
- 6:11start to feel amazing about life in general.
- 6:14And then from there, everything else gets exponentially better.
- 6:18As we know because once you feel good good things happen, you can
- 6:22really start to tap into that pattern of energy and it Action.
- 6:27So I hope that you have an amazing day finding states of
- 6:32awe, finding the little things that you, you know, fire you up
- 6:37and I hope no matter what that when they present themselves to
- 6:42you, you take the time and you pause and you see them.
- 6:45All right, my friends. I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:47Bye.
