Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday, so that
- 0:14Speaker 1: means we're gonna talk about Bravo. I've got my friend here,
- 0:17Speaker 1: Mandy Schlitzker of is this real life? My local friend?
- 0:21Speaker 1: How's it going, Mandy?
- 0:22Speaker 2: It's good. I'm so glad to be here with you.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Now. All of a sudden, as we just started talking,
- 0:28Speaker 1: like I can hear the rain and the wind coming in.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So if something happens or you hear something loud and
- 0:36Speaker 1: we have to scream, take shelter, that's what it is.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Okay, Well, it'll be coming my way in like twenty
- 0:41Speaker 2: five minutes.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I know it's it'll be loud here and then it'll
- 0:45Speaker 1: go to you. Because I'm in Virginia. Che's in DC. Okay,
- 0:49Speaker 1: let's get into it. Let's chat. So the valley. Now
- 0:54Speaker 1: here's here's situation with the valley. My friend Pat Hickey
- 0:59Speaker 1: of Pat and Zyllan of Bad TV. He was like,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I'm going to hook you up with this person's going
- 1:05Speaker 1: to get you screeners. I was like, well, thank god,
- 1:06Speaker 1: because I just ask and ask and I always get
- 1:08Speaker 1: told no. Like it's just like sometimes they don't even
- 1:11Speaker 1: answer me. But usually half and half half the time
- 1:15Speaker 1: they're way back and go, no, we're not giving it
- 1:17Speaker 1: to you, and then half the time they just go
- 1:19Speaker 1: speak completely. So that's my relationship with Bravo that I
- 1:22Speaker 1: can't help it. I've am trying. So he was like, oh, no, no, no,
- 1:26Speaker 1: my person will totally give you the screeners. Well, that
- 1:29Speaker 1: person wrote me back and was like, I'll put you
- 1:31Speaker 1: in touch with the team from the Valley. Have I
- 1:33Speaker 1: heard back from them? No? So great. Anyway, what I
- 1:39Speaker 1: explained to this person was I record on Wednesdays. The
- 1:42Speaker 1: Valley comes out Wednesday night, so when my episode comes
- 1:45Speaker 1: down on Thursday, it's not really up to date. So
- 1:48Speaker 1: anything that occurs on Wednesdays with Bravo, I would really
- 1:51Speaker 1: love to get a screener. No response, so I guess
- 1:55Speaker 1: that's a no. But what I was told last week,
- 2:00Speaker 1: of course, we had the Valley with Danny acting horrible
- 2:03Speaker 1: and La La speaking to him. But what I've told
- 2:06Speaker 1: is this week it's like worse. So I'm like, oh,
- 2:10Speaker 1: so I don't even get to talk about how it
- 2:12Speaker 1: gets worse. Tonight they're going to have the pageant with
- 2:15Speaker 1: all the guys, but I don't know what's going to Happen.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Well, so Danny was supposed to be on Watch What
- 2:21Speaker 2: Happens Live tonight and he pulled out. It was supposed
- 2:25Speaker 2: to be him and Luke, and now it's going to
- 2:26Speaker 2: be Luke and Tom Schwartz. Tom Swartz is always He's like,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I'll just stay in New York.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm up for anything. Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So
- 2:38Speaker 1: Danny didn't want to come on after how he appeared
- 2:41Speaker 1: last week, so I imagined this week he doesn't redeem himself,
- 2:46Speaker 1: he had to stay. So I was like, okay, well,
- 2:49Speaker 1: maybe this is where the announcement comes that he has
- 2:52Speaker 1: also checked himself into rehab like Jack's. But no, he
- 2:55Speaker 1: said he had a big important job, big important of course,
- 3:00Speaker 1: voiceover job you couldn't miss. So anyway, why don't we
- 3:04Speaker 1: discuss last week since we don't have this week to discuss.
- 3:09Speaker 1: What were your overall arching thoughts about Danny's behavior last week.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm just glad people are seeing it because I've felt
- 3:18Speaker 2: it simmering beneath the surface. I think the first few seasons,
- 3:23Speaker 2: Jax's behavior kind of eclipse it, and last season people
- 3:27Speaker 2: were so annoyed by Janet that they weren't actually listening
- 3:30Speaker 2: to the point that she was making yes and they
- 3:33Speaker 2: were obsessed with the words that she was using. I
- 3:35Speaker 2: understand that, but she was not wrong.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Ronnie drinks a lot, behaves inappropriately most of the time.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I think the two are correlated. But I'm starting to
- 3:47Speaker 2: feel like he's an asshole even when he's sober. Yeah,
- 3:50Speaker 2: So that's sort of where I'm at. I'm just glad
- 3:53Speaker 2: other people are seeing it. I think he's a dick,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and I think Nia knows it, and so that's why
- 3:59Speaker 2: she makes him leave early from events when he's starting
- 4:02Speaker 2: to turn into what is it, dark side Danny And
- 4:07Speaker 2: I don't know, Like she's got four kids to manage,
- 4:08Speaker 2: why does she have to manage a fifth.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It's it's rough, And I think she said it best
- 4:14Speaker 1: where she said, like, on the one hand, it's done
- 4:16Speaker 1: a lalla's business. But on the other hand, I'm glad
- 4:20Speaker 1: somebody sees it, right. And I'm coming from a place
- 4:23Speaker 1: of somebody who is married to an alcoholic in recovery
- 4:28Speaker 1: going on is it twenty twelve years going on twelve
- 4:33Speaker 1: years this year? So, but I've been in that place
- 4:36Speaker 1: of Nia where you are trying to like everything's okay,
- 4:40Speaker 1: Like look over here, don't look over here, or you're
- 4:42Speaker 1: trying to mitigate the situation, always like let's keep this
- 4:47Speaker 1: here so it doesn't escalate, right, keep him happy so
- 4:51Speaker 1: he doesn't get mad. But the problem here is like
- 4:54Speaker 1: you can't tell what he's going to get mad about.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Who do he would get mad about his wig place
- 5:01Speaker 1: when he's dressing up as a pageant queen, and like
- 5:04Speaker 1: why would that? You know what I mean? It is
- 5:06Speaker 1: like comical, right, is comical whenever they're fighting in costume.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It's comical when there's some sort of problem on these
- 5:13Speaker 1: shows and somebody's in a dumb outfit. Right, But yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 1: his behavior towards her, And again people say, and this
- 5:22Speaker 1: is such a great point. If he's acting like that
- 5:25Speaker 1: not only in public but on camera, Yeah, how does
- 5:29Speaker 1: he act when they're at home alone and it's not
- 5:32Speaker 1: in public and there's no camera. I mean, I think
- 5:35Speaker 1: it's worse.
- 5:37Speaker 2: One thing I will say on Danny's behalf is I
- 5:40Speaker 2: understand why he was frustrated because they paid for this
- 5:45Speaker 2: babysitter or nanny or whatever whoever she is to come
- 5:49Speaker 2: along so that the two of them could go film
- 5:51Speaker 2: and maybe enjoy themselves Unfortunately, their daughter doesn't seem to
- 5:57Speaker 2: be able to take a bottle. And I also have
- 6:01Speaker 2: a feeling that part of Nia's postpartum is not wanting
- 6:03Speaker 2: to separate from her child. I think she sometimes uses
- 6:06Speaker 2: the feeding thing as an excuse, you know, and that's
- 6:10Speaker 2: totally understandable from her point of view, right, But he's
- 6:14Speaker 2: kind of like, we have this person that's willing to
- 6:16Speaker 2: take care of the baby, and you're not letting them,
- 6:19Speaker 2: Like you're late because you were putting the baby down.
- 6:21Speaker 2: She could have put the baby down right, like she
- 6:24Speaker 2: could have, you know, done all of these things. And
- 6:26Speaker 2: I feel like he was just getting frustrated. And that
- 6:28Speaker 2: was especially on the safari. It was like, we didn't
- 6:32Speaker 2: have to bring the baby on the safari. It was
- 6:34Speaker 2: not that long of a safari. You know, she can
- 6:37Speaker 2: go two hours without having the boob and you know,
- 6:41Speaker 2: and so now you're complaining that she's hot and you're
- 6:44Speaker 2: making me help all, you know, get the stroller and
- 6:48Speaker 2: everything in here, when really like we're paying someone to
- 6:51Speaker 2: help us with this and you're not letting that person
- 6:53Speaker 2: do their job. That's where I think he's coming from.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But it does not excuse any of his being he
- 7:00Speaker 2: is being such an asshole, He's been so unhelpful, Like
- 7:04Speaker 2: he should be able to read the room and see
- 7:06Speaker 2: that his wife is uncomfortable leaving their three month old,
- 7:10Speaker 2: you know, with somebody else. That makes a lot of sense.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I think that's like really common for people after they
- 7:16Speaker 2: have a baby to not want to be separate from them.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And I wish that Nia was also to like able
- 7:22Speaker 2: to vocalize it in a better way because Kristen is
- 7:25Speaker 2: making so much sense. She's like, I'm afraid to leave
- 7:27Speaker 2: my baby. I'm like, great, got it, understand why you're
- 7:31Speaker 2: behaving the way that you are. She's explaining how she
- 7:34Speaker 2: feels in such a real, raw way, and I think
- 7:37Speaker 2: Nia is too pageant, like she's always trying to focus on,
- 7:42Speaker 2: you know, plagueating Danny and making everything seem like it's perfect.
- 7:46Speaker 2: That she won't just say, listen, I said, I would
- 7:50Speaker 2: have you know this nanny come help us out. But
- 7:53Speaker 2: now that we're here, I actually don't feel comfortable leaving
- 7:57Speaker 2: my baby with her or with anyone. Right, yeah, right,
- 8:00Speaker 2: that is like super relatable, and he should be able
- 8:03Speaker 2: to know that, you know.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah. I felt like they really did not discuss the
- 8:08Speaker 1: parameters of what the nanny would be doing beforehand. I
- 8:13Speaker 1: think the nanny was there. I don't know if the
- 8:14Speaker 1: danny was hired by production to help these two women
- 8:17Speaker 1: so they could film, or or if the nanny was
- 8:19Speaker 1: brought by them, And I think that's kind of unclear.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It doesn't seem like their regular nanny that she would
- 8:24Speaker 1: because she's not just like when her mom was there
- 8:27Speaker 1: or something. You can see she's very comfortable with handing
- 8:29Speaker 1: this baby off for that. And you know, she posted
- 8:34Speaker 1: a mother's day thing where everything's perfect. Everything it was
- 8:39Speaker 1: everything was she and her children on matching outfits, sitting
- 8:42Speaker 1: by a pool and of course Daniel had brought me
- 8:45Speaker 1: coffee in bed, and then here they are in their
- 8:47Speaker 1: matching outfits and it's very like, okay, like I know
- 8:52Speaker 1: this is paid spaon con Like I get it, but
- 8:55Speaker 1: that's a bad look when okay, And then she posted
- 9:00Speaker 1: right after like a day you know have people do
- 9:03Speaker 1: day in the busy life of a mom, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 1: on a filming day, and it's like get up at
- 9:08Speaker 1: five thirty and go for a quick workout and then
- 9:11Speaker 1: I did this and then and it's like and by
- 9:13Speaker 1: the time you get to like seven am. Now she's
- 9:15Speaker 1: getting the baby up. Now she's doing this, she's feeding
- 9:18Speaker 1: the baby outside. Now she's gonna pump for an hour.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Now she's gonna do like thirty minutes of homeschooling for
- 9:24Speaker 1: each child. Now we're literally at eight thirty am, and
- 9:28Speaker 1: Daniel comes in to pray over me for my day.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And then Daniel walks out, and then she does another
- 9:34Speaker 1: homeschooling for forty five minutes, and da da da da.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And now we get to nine o'clock. So she's been
- 9:38Speaker 1: up for four and a half hours, breastfeeding, pumping, exercising,
- 9:43Speaker 1: dealing with all four children, and only one time between
- 9:47Speaker 1: five thirty and nine am, Daniel came in the bathroom
- 9:50Speaker 1: to pray over her. And I was so enraged. I
- 9:55Speaker 1: was like, a pardon me, I don't understand. If five
- 9:59Speaker 1: thirty is your t time to get up and exercise
- 10:01Speaker 1: and all that. I understand that's what people want to
- 10:03Speaker 1: do or need to do. It it's not for me,
- 10:04Speaker 1: but that doesn't mean it's not for you. Great, that's
- 10:07Speaker 1: her alone time and all that. But then also she's
- 10:10Speaker 1: like after the five point thirty exercise time, while she's
- 10:13Speaker 1: changing to go to get the baby up to feed
- 10:15Speaker 1: the baby, she's listening to her twenty minute Bible podcast,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and then also while she's in the car going to set,
- 10:23Speaker 1: she's doing another Bible study. And I'm like, girl, girl,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I just I think it's I think he's right. I
- 10:32Speaker 1: think it is performative. So I'm not mad at her
- 10:34Speaker 1: at all. I'm not mad at her. I know I
- 10:36Speaker 1: understand why she does it. I understand why she does it.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I understand that Danny's father is a pastor and they
- 10:43Speaker 1: belong to this megachurch in La who's pastor his I
- 10:50Speaker 1: got this from Kate Casey's podcast. Is the pastor's occupation
- 10:54Speaker 1: is listed as pastor, author, clothes designer, fashion designer.
- 10:59Speaker 2: That's their past Yeah, it's one of those sort of
- 11:01Speaker 2: new ag churches that like it's like we're cool, we
- 11:04Speaker 2: got we're rock bands, we love Jesus, and then like
- 11:07Speaker 2: they don't overtly say any of the things that make
- 11:11Speaker 2: Christianity unpopular with young people, which is we have a
- 11:15Speaker 2: problem with LGBTQ people. We think that women should just
- 11:20Speaker 2: like obey their husbands at be submissive. They don't overtly
- 11:24Speaker 2: say any of that, but they covertly say it, and
- 11:27Speaker 2: I think that, and I think that's what Janet and
- 11:31Speaker 2: Jason we're trying to point out, Like Danny and Nia
- 11:35Speaker 2: are these favorites of everyone who are fans of the Valley,
- 11:38Speaker 2: who also like you know, Zach, also like Jasmine, who
- 11:43Speaker 2: are queer characters on the show, real people in real life,
- 11:47Speaker 2: and they act like they're fine with it, but like
- 11:50Speaker 2: they really think these people are going to hell and
- 11:52Speaker 2: it's obnoxious and they're just putting it all on to
- 11:56Speaker 2: be on TV. That's essentially what I got from what
- 12:00Speaker 2: Jason and Janet were alleging.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think that because Janet comes across a
- 12:08Speaker 1: sort of a Karen or sort of unlikable, that what
- 12:12Speaker 1: she said kind of got lost in the sauce, like
- 12:15Speaker 1: you said, and I think that what we're seeing with
- 12:18Speaker 1: Danny's behavior is listen, Jason was right about Danny. You know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: that's hard to that's that's hard to say, you know,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but Janet was right about Danny. And for him to
- 12:31Speaker 1: drunkenly look over at Michelle and say, don't mess up
- 12:36Speaker 1: your words is alcoholic. I was like, you can't even
- 12:40Speaker 1: say alcoholic as you're so drunk.
- 12:43Speaker 2: He's still so angry at being called that, which tells
- 12:47Speaker 2: me that there's some truth to it. Like remember when
- 12:51Speaker 2: Sutton was called that by deret Or she alleged that
- 12:54Speaker 2: there was like you know, Sudden was drinking in the
- 12:57Speaker 2: morning or something.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Drinking vodka for breakfast or yes, yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Well look at this season, Sutton didn't have vodka. She did,
- 13:06Speaker 2: she didn't drink much. So I think whenever someone gets
- 13:10Speaker 2: like super frustrated, super angry, super defensive when it's related
- 13:15Speaker 2: to substances like that, it's because it hits too close
- 13:18Speaker 2: to home.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's definitely true. I mean you could think
- 13:21Speaker 1: about Shanna Badoor. Her drinking has been brought up every
- 13:25Speaker 1: single season. She has barely slowed down. You see.
- 13:31Speaker 2: She's one to be like, I'm just not taking I'm
- 13:35Speaker 2: not taking what you're putting down. Shannon Badoor will never change.
- 13:41Speaker 2: But I think, yeah, and I don't know if she
- 13:45Speaker 2: cares as much about the labels as for some reason,
- 13:49Speaker 2: like Sutton really cared about that label. Danny really cares
- 13:53Speaker 2: about that label, and so he is so focused on
- 13:57Speaker 2: trying to show that they're perfect, and so is Nia
- 14:00Speaker 2: and she is Nia signed up for this. She wanted
- 14:03Speaker 2: a life like this, she views her husband as the
- 14:08Speaker 2: main decision maker in their home. Yeah, she is not
- 14:11Speaker 2: an equal partner in that marriage, according to how a
- 14:15Speaker 2: lot of people other people would would say, you know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's not as much of a partnership, but so we
- 14:20Speaker 2: each have different roles. Right when it comes to the
- 14:24Speaker 2: things like taking care of the kids, it's really all
- 14:27Speaker 2: her and he's the one that just says how many
- 14:30Speaker 2: kids he wants, and she's just supposed to what have them,
- 14:33Speaker 2: homeschool them, all the things.

- 16:32Speaker 1: I look at every single day Reddit. I used to
- 16:35Speaker 1: think Reddit was just for finding information out about our
- 16:38Speaker 1: ninety Day cast members, but now I'm on there for everything.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'll check reviews before I buy a new hair dryer,
- 16:45Speaker 1: or if I need to look at some travel tips,
- 16:47Speaker 1: and suddenly I'm deep enough thread about my favorite online game,
- 16:50Speaker 1: Sneaky Sasquatch. Yes, I am probably the oldest person that
- 16:53Speaker 1: plays Sneaky Sasquatch and goes on this thread, but I
- 16:56Speaker 1: don't care. Reddit always has the answers for me when
- 16:58Speaker 1: I can't pass the level. Okay, it's a game for
- 17:01Speaker 1: ages four and up. I digress. Okay, you know. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: get obsessed with topics like Billie Eilish or the Ploth family,
- 17:07Speaker 1: or to read mpka's finances from Real Housewives in Beverly Hills.
- 17:11Speaker 1: So I just love going to Reddit and doing a
- 17:13Speaker 1: deep dive to find out what the fans are saying.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I like to swap theories. I like to see their
- 17:18Speaker 1: reactions in real time as the dramas unfolding on our TV.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And that's another reason I like to look at things
- 17:24Speaker 1: on Reddit. It's just real people sharing real opinions and
- 17:27Speaker 1: real experiences, and you know, I'm one of those people.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm on there and if you want an honest review
- 17:32Speaker 1: of something, Reddit is always the first place to go. Okay,
- 17:35Speaker 1: my favorite subredits are are slash Welcome to plotfil R,
- 17:39Speaker 1: Slash Bravo, and of course our slash Sneaky Sasquatch. But
- 17:43Speaker 1: I also love our slash travel Hacks and when I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: really into a show like Traders, oh my gosh, the
- 17:49Speaker 1: subreddits are incredible. Reddit is the app for authentic conversations

- 18:14Speaker 1: where she went to the plastic surgeon to talk about
- 18:17Speaker 1: after she had the last baby, she was going to
- 18:20Speaker 1: do a mommy makeover, And in my mind I was
- 18:22Speaker 1: thinking that Danny at some point would be like, you, really,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't agree with any of this. I don't think
- 18:28Speaker 1: you need to do any of that, and he really
- 18:30Speaker 1: kind of was nice about like I think you're perfect
- 18:33Speaker 1: blah blah blah, But now I think we're kind of
- 18:35Speaker 1: seeing that that probably is very important to him that
- 18:37Speaker 1: she snapped back right away. Yeah, you know, it's very
- 18:41Speaker 1: hard for anybody to snap back after one baby, much
- 18:44Speaker 1: less four or five years, you know, one set of twins,
- 18:49Speaker 1: like my god. So I was personally, for my own
- 18:54Speaker 1: personal experience in my life, it felt familiar to me
- 18:59Speaker 1: what she was doing, trying to be like, oh gosh,
- 19:02Speaker 1: isn't this just so silly or whatever, and trying to
- 19:07Speaker 1: appease him so that it wouldn't get worse or so
- 19:10Speaker 1: other people wouldn't notice he was drunk or I felt that.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And when Lala came in and you could think whatever
- 19:18Speaker 1: you want about Lala for a thousand different reasons, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: nine hundred are probably true, she was completely right to
- 19:25Speaker 1: go in there and say like, I can't take the
- 19:27Speaker 1: way you're speaking to her, and for her to be like,
- 19:30Speaker 1: it's triggering for me, and then he made fun of
- 19:32Speaker 1: her without saying I wonder why that's triggered. Oh, because
- 19:37Speaker 1: she lived with the person that spoke to her this way,
- 19:39Speaker 1: and that's upsetting to her, and she doesn't want to
- 19:41Speaker 1: see it happened to another woman, and she's a very
- 19:43Speaker 1: outspoken person. Lots of other people in the house I
- 19:46Speaker 1: would give Brittany as an example. Could hear it too,
- 19:50Speaker 1: And obviously Jack's talked that way horribly to Britney for years. Again,
- 19:54Speaker 1: we saw on camera and Brittany said, nothing, it's not
- 19:58Speaker 1: she didn't.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Take something last year. Remember that same trip where Danny
- 20:02Speaker 2: was like drinking in the closet or the country. She
- 20:06Speaker 2: made some sort of comment about like Danny and Nia
- 20:10Speaker 2: not being perfect or whatever, and it really upset Nea
- 20:14Speaker 2: a lot. Remember when they were like, you're trying to Oh,
- 20:18Speaker 2: he just fell asleep, he's missing dinner, Like, that's not normal.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's not normal to'll drink so much that you skip
- 20:24Speaker 2: a meal.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Well, it's not to drink so much that no one
- 20:27Speaker 1: can wake you up from a nap. That too, Yeah, yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and that's what was happening there. And I too have
- 20:33Speaker 1: been in that situation. We're like, I don't know, it's
- 20:35Speaker 1: just so tired, it's you know, yeah, and then you
- 20:38Speaker 1: didn't get a lot of sleep less night, just so
- 20:39Speaker 1: tireding make so much and you start doing that, you know.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And Brittany called it out and Nea was really pissed
- 20:47Speaker 2: because it's sort of like, No, your husband or your
- 20:50Speaker 2: ex is supposed to be the messed up one. I'm
- 20:52Speaker 2: in the perfect marriage.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I I don't. I think him came anceling on Watch
- 21:00Speaker 1: What Happens Live is a great indicator of who he
- 21:04Speaker 1: is as a person. He doesn't want to go, he
- 21:06Speaker 1: doesn't want to take it. He's seen what you know.
- 21:09Speaker 1: And Jackie Shimmel, who I love, did a great on
- 21:12Speaker 1: the Bitch Bible, just a full takedown of him. She
- 21:15Speaker 1: put it, she just put it on Instagram, was like,
- 21:17Speaker 1: fuck this guy, you know? And I think great now again,
- 21:21Speaker 1: we haven't seen what's going to happen on Wednesday night
- 21:23Speaker 1: because we're recording on Wednesday. It happens on Wednesday night,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and I can't wait. Because Kikim Monique posted like, get ready,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you thought you were mad, It's about to get worse.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I am just basking in my what is it when
- 21:37Speaker 2: you like know you're right? Everyone else was wrong, just
- 21:41Speaker 2: like I just everyone was so crazy about Janet last year,
- 21:46Speaker 2: and I'm like, the reason you don't like her is
- 21:49Speaker 2: because she reminds you of someone in your real life
- 21:52Speaker 2: that you already don't like, and you're projecting. There's nothing
- 21:56Speaker 2: that she actually said or did that crosses the out
- 22:00Speaker 2: of lines. That the way people are reacting to her right,
- 22:05Speaker 2: like she's not that terrible. She just irks everyone. Yeah,
- 22:09Speaker 2: and that's fine, But they're acting like she's you know,
- 22:13Speaker 2: she's one of the most hated They're like, she's the
- 22:16Speaker 2: worst villain that we've ever seen. I'm sorry. This is
- 22:19Speaker 2: a show that has had Jax Taylor and Danny Buco. Yes,
- 22:23Speaker 2: Janet does not hold a candle to those two monsters.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I think what the people are mostly mad about with
- 22:29Speaker 1: her is that she said that he sexually assaulted Jasmine.
- 22:36Speaker 1: She used those word Jasmine and Melissa. She used those words,
- 22:40Speaker 1: and so I have to, you know, agree, if Jasmine
- 22:44Speaker 1: and Melissa didn't say those words, that she shouldn't say
- 22:46Speaker 1: those words. She should She can say he grabbed her butt,
- 22:51Speaker 1: he groped her, He da da da dah. But because
- 22:53Speaker 1: she said those two words, that's when people really turned
- 22:55Speaker 1: on her. You're putting this label on Danny Da da
- 22:57Speaker 1: da da da. You're the one coming up with dark
- 22:59Speaker 1: side Danny all the stuff. Well, again, other than those
- 23:02Speaker 1: two words that she shouldn't have said, she's been completely right.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, right, Yeah, and people are more upset about the
- 23:09Speaker 2: words and the behavior that he exhibited, which tells me
- 23:13Speaker 2: all I need to know. I think it's way worse
- 23:15Speaker 2: to grab someone's body without their consent than to call
- 23:20Speaker 2: someone out for doing so and using the wrong words
- 23:23Speaker 2: or words that seemed too extreme.
- 23:26Speaker 1: So we are I don't know what episode we're on,
- 23:28Speaker 1: if we're halfway through the season or what, but we
- 23:30Speaker 1: got to be film in that reunion soon, right, I
- 23:33Speaker 1: don't know.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I never know. I'm always like, where are we in
- 23:37Speaker 2: time and space with the Fatles?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:40Speaker 2: It is getting better, though. The first few episodes of
- 23:42Speaker 2: the season were really rough. They were dark, and they
- 23:45Speaker 2: were boring.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And now I don't mind dark. I don't mind dark.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I don't mind dark too much. I do mind boring.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I enjoy what's going on with Kristin and Luke because
- 23:56Speaker 2: I actually feel like there's going to be a happy
- 23:58Speaker 2: ending there where.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, these two people were able to sit down on
- 24:02Speaker 1: that swing and then come to a resolution.
- 24:05Speaker 2: And I knew because we've seen them right, And and
- 24:10Speaker 2: I really am enjoying Michelle. I'm enjoying Jesse separate from Michelle.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I think Lacey is an interesting character.
- 24:17Speaker 1: I think Lady's interesting because she hates him so bad,
- 24:22Speaker 1: so actively, and it's like.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Why why be with him if you like, are so
- 24:26Speaker 2: annoyed with him?
- 24:28Speaker 1: And why We've heard that she tried to get on
- 24:31Speaker 1: The OC Housewives twice, so she wants to be on
- 24:35Speaker 1: TV and this is her.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Gateway maybe, But she also had an opportunity to be
- 24:40Speaker 2: on last season and didn't.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Right because I think because I here's what I think
- 24:47Speaker 1: about that, because I know, like Andy was like, you know,
- 24:50Speaker 1: she she walked onto a hot set and caused a
- 24:52Speaker 1: big scene because she refused to be something like, I mean,
- 24:54Speaker 1: Andy was mad at Jesse about that, and I was
- 24:58Speaker 1: surprised that they led her on this after the way
- 25:00Speaker 1: she acted. I thought the production would be like, well
- 25:02Speaker 1: don't we don't want her around. She like ruined a
- 25:04Speaker 1: whole thing. But I think last season she hadn't been
- 25:08Speaker 1: dating Jesse very long, and the narrative around her was
- 25:13Speaker 1: she was putting out season desists and this she fucked
- 25:15Speaker 1: the guy from Baywatch, David Charvey, who is it unclear,
- 25:19Speaker 1: But I think because that was the narrative around her,
- 25:21Speaker 1: she didn't want to be on.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard some interesting things from her that I've
- 25:26Speaker 2: never seen on the show yet that I'm waiting to
- 25:29Speaker 2: come up. Because the reason that she says she sent
- 25:32Speaker 2: the cease and desist to Michelle was because she alleges
- 25:36Speaker 2: that Michelle told people that Lacey was driving drunk with
- 25:41Speaker 2: Isabella in the car, and Lacey was like, I have
- 25:46Speaker 2: never driven drunk. This is defamatory and I'm not even
- 25:50Speaker 2: on the show to be able to defend myself. Stop
- 25:54Speaker 2: talking about me. That makes a whole lot more sense
- 25:58Speaker 2: if that is the case, then, like her just.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Being like, so, why when they had that conversation, why
- 26:06Speaker 1: didn't because Lacey brought up the bad thing about Michelle?
- 26:09Speaker 1: I know, why didn't Michelle go, well, you said this, Yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I have no idea why.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Maybe it was cut, maybe it was edited, I don't know.
- 26:18Speaker 2: But she said something more recently about that, and I
- 26:21Speaker 2: was like, oh, that's the only thing that would have
- 26:23Speaker 2: explained this behavior that she had.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I thought it was interesting about the story about pushing
- 26:29Speaker 1: through the window. The story was interesting because Jesse's version
- 26:32Speaker 1: is I was standing there and trying to sort of
- 26:35Speaker 1: get her off me, and she pushed me back through
- 26:37Speaker 1: a window. And her story is.
- 26:40Speaker 2: That she had told him that she was going to
- 26:43Speaker 2: divorce him, and he was getting in her face.
- 26:47Speaker 1: And she she defended herself.
- 26:48Speaker 2: She defended herself, and like he would fell back or
- 26:53Speaker 2: something fell back, but like, did it in such an
- 26:55Speaker 2: exaggerated manner? Yeah?
- 26:57Speaker 1: No? He said he was folding laundry. Yeah, And she
- 27:01Speaker 1: came across the bed like Keanu Reeves and the matrix
- 27:04Speaker 1: and like across the bed like flying through the air
- 27:09Speaker 1: like a flying squirrel, and then threw him through a window.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I was like, these two instances took place in different rooms,
- 27:15Speaker 1: like what.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And we know that he drinks heavily, and we've seen
- 27:18Speaker 2: how he behaves when he drinks heavily. And she said
- 27:21Speaker 2: he was drunk, and I'm like, Okay, I trust you.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I believe Michelle's narrative over Jessee. And it's very clear
- 27:28Speaker 2: that Michelle has for many years protected him. And I
- 27:33Speaker 2: am just like, Lacy, you don't even know what you
- 27:37Speaker 2: walked into because you're outing him essentially as being abusive, right,
- 27:44Speaker 2: That's what I thought. I was like, Oh my god,
- 27:46Speaker 2: he was really bad in that he was so angry
- 27:50Speaker 2: with her for leaving him, not that he like and
- 27:55Speaker 2: didn't want her, but didn't want her, yeah, yes, and
- 27:59Speaker 2: we saw how he behaved. He wouldn't even like accept
- 28:01Speaker 2: that it was over when it was over. It's like
- 28:03Speaker 2: he had to be the one to say that it
- 28:05Speaker 2: was over, which is why it's so wild that he
- 28:08Speaker 2: had to have control of the narrative and everything. And
- 28:11Speaker 2: then now he's in a relationship where he has no control,
- 28:14Speaker 2: and I'm like, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, she'll dump him.
- 28:20Speaker 2: It's fascinating to watch though, and he's also like he's
- 28:23Speaker 2: working on himself a little.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Okay, iaby, I'm fascinated by Michelle dating Doctor Dre and
- 28:30Speaker 1: I actally cannot wait for that to either come up
- 28:36Speaker 1: on the show or come up on the reunion because, like, listen,
- 28:40Speaker 1: I don't I don't know if Doctor Dre was like
- 28:42Speaker 1: the best husband to his first wife, but she did
- 28:45Speaker 1: get like twenty billion dollars or something crazy, and he
- 28:47Speaker 1: still has twenty billion left. So even if she's dating
- 28:52Speaker 1: him casually, that's quite a ball or move, you know.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It is, but which is what I thought at first.
- 29:01Speaker 2: And then a bunch of my listeners reached out and
- 29:04Speaker 2: they're like, you know, he has a history of violence
- 29:06Speaker 2: against women. And I was like this, I'm saying, I
- 29:08Speaker 2: don't think he is, Like, no, I didn't know that husband,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and I don't think it was just his wife. I
- 29:16Speaker 2: think it was like other women. Well I mean, I mean, hey,
- 29:23Speaker 2: when he was, you know, an act stuff that didn't
- 29:25Speaker 2: make it into the movie straight out of Compton because
- 29:28Speaker 2: he was part of I was like, oh, I didn't.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I just didn't. I don't know. I you know, some
- 29:32Speaker 2: of the stuff happened like when I was very very young,
- 29:36Speaker 2: So I missed it. And uh yeah, So I think
- 29:41Speaker 2: she chooses poorly. She is chosen poorly with Mary and Jesse.
- 29:46Speaker 2: She chose poorly to date that guy Aaron and doctor
- 29:49Speaker 2: dra also doesn't seem to be the best decision. But
- 29:52Speaker 2: like Tarantino, that also seems to be a poor decision.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Like she just seems to like pick guys that have
- 29:59Speaker 2: a history of behaving not great.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Well maybe doctor Drell like buyre a house or something.
- 30:06Speaker 1: It's sent her on her way. Okay, Well, anyway, I'm
- 30:10Speaker 1: fascinated by that, so I am too. All right, let's
- 30:13Speaker 1: talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta. So this week they
- 30:19Speaker 1: are still in Dallas, Yes, Yes, it seemed to be
- 30:23Speaker 1: really far outside of Dallas though at the like compounds
- 30:26Speaker 1: they're staying at, Yes, don't they like It's like all
- 30:29Speaker 1: their time is spent in a sprinter van going to
- 30:32Speaker 1: and Yes, likes away. So I do think at the
- 30:39Speaker 1: dinner that they went to and Porscha was picking all
- 30:43Speaker 1: around the oysters and talking about the oysters. Now that
- 30:47Speaker 1: we know why Ky Michelle was upset. She explained that
- 30:52Speaker 1: seven years ago an x of hers had done a
- 30:56Speaker 1: a rumor that was similar to the joe An krupa Um,
- 31:00Speaker 1: saying that her Lady Regions smelled or didn't look good
- 31:05Speaker 1: or something. Seven years ago, there was this rumor. Now
- 31:08Speaker 1: she's a she's a pop artist, and you know, people
- 31:11Speaker 1: will come out of the woodwork and they date you,
- 31:13Speaker 1: then they'll come up with something to say about you.
- 31:15Speaker 2: You know.
- 31:15Speaker 1: That's that's the world we live in, right. But of
- 31:18Speaker 1: course none of us would have ever known that rumor.
- 31:23Speaker 1: But it seems that behind the scenes some of the
- 31:27Speaker 1: girls were like, ooh, we should bring up this or
- 31:28Speaker 1: that to give you know, to give something to talk about.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And that's I think now knowing that part that that
- 31:35Speaker 1: is why Portia was doing that because people were like,
- 31:37Speaker 1: why is she doing that? That's so weird, and she
- 31:40Speaker 1: kept saying this is one clean vagina and whatever, and
- 31:42Speaker 1: people are like, gross, what are you talking about? Nobody's
- 31:45Speaker 1: ever hurt, Like it made no sense, and everybody at
- 31:48Speaker 1: the table looked confused and Drew except for Drew, And
- 31:52Speaker 1: that's when came Michelle got upset and then she said
- 31:55Speaker 1: there was this rumor, and I think that's why. Now.
- 31:57Speaker 1: First of all, I'm like, wow, that's like a long
- 31:59Speaker 1: way to go from it a dizy to get there.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But I do think that's what Porscha was doing. And
- 32:05Speaker 1: I do think ky Michelle is right to be like,
- 32:07Speaker 1: you're the one that brought me on the show, and
- 32:09Speaker 1: we're the ones that have been friends, and now you're
- 32:11Speaker 1: gonna do this to me. I think her kind of
- 32:13Speaker 1: coming to the realization like, oh, everybody has a huge
- 32:17Speaker 1: fight and calls each other the worst names and then
- 32:19Speaker 1: two hours later they're fine or four minutes later, they're fine.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm not built for this.
- 32:25Speaker 2: But wasn't she on Love and Hip Hop?
- 32:28Speaker 1: I think so. I think so. But I think that
- 32:31Speaker 1: she is actually sort of like shocked, like wait a minute,
- 32:36Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute, So it seems like
- 32:41Speaker 1: k Michelle, Pinky, Samia, and Kelly are like in a
- 32:45Speaker 1: little alliance because they were the four that were outside people. Yes, yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I mean she Me is sort of new, but because
- 32:56Speaker 1: inside talking was Cynthia, Porscha, they draw la An, Angela, Andrew, Andrew.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Drew was on the inside crew and those four were
- 33:08Speaker 1: the outside crew.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I don't like it. And also this whole thing of
- 33:15Speaker 1: like everybody's always trying to stir up what happened between
- 33:18Speaker 1: Shemiah and Porsha. I think Shemiah and Porsha came to
- 33:22Speaker 1: some kind of agreement that, like, we don't like each other,
- 33:24Speaker 1: but I don't want you to get kicked off the show,
- 33:27Speaker 1: so we're just going to be in the same space.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And I think that's fine. I think as long as
- 33:32Speaker 1: you don't come to like a Theresa Melissa thing where
- 33:34Speaker 1: we're not going to film with each other, we can't
- 33:35Speaker 1: be in the same space. Then Shemia and Porscha worked
- 33:38Speaker 1: it out. I think it's fine, but it is interesting,
- 33:41Speaker 1: like Drew's always trying to stir that up.
- 33:44Speaker 2: And Angela. I love Angela. I think Angela is one
- 33:47Speaker 2: of the best housewives we've had in a very long time.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm liking her more and more. I'm liking her more
- 33:52Speaker 1: and more.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Find her interesting, I find her funny. She can like
- 33:55Speaker 2: take a punch right, and she can throw one. And
- 34:00Speaker 2: it's just not like she's not taking anything too seriously,
- 34:03Speaker 2: which I think you need for real houses of Atlanta.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I think Pinky is taking things too seriously. But you
- 34:10Speaker 2: so she doesn't like know how they roll and has
- 34:14Speaker 2: to like figure it out. I think Porsha is a
- 34:19Speaker 2: friend to no one. She really is a friend to
- 34:22Speaker 2: no one, and she is incredible on television, and she
- 34:26Speaker 2: is like the heart and center of this cast. And
- 34:29Speaker 2: so I think Michelle's like, oh my god, this was
- 34:31Speaker 2: supposed to be my friend, and now she's done multiple
- 34:34Speaker 2: things on camera to me that made me feel horrible,
- 34:38Speaker 2: one with bringing up a miscarriage and the other withy.
- 34:44Speaker 2: But but Porsia is she treats these women like her coworkers.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I think it is Porsha's world and we're all living
- 34:51Speaker 2: in it. And if you have a close relationship with her,
- 34:54Speaker 2: then you have basically have an agreement that it's Porscha's way,
- 34:59Speaker 2: always right, and your needs are second, third, fourth, fifth, right.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Same way with her mom, same way with her sister.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Like she has to be the star in every show,
- 35:10Speaker 2: and she should. She's fantastic, but like she seems like
- 35:13Speaker 2: she'd be really difficult to be friends with. And so she's,
- 35:17Speaker 2: you know, pretending to be so nice to gay Michelle,
- 35:21Speaker 2: and you know, if someone's you know, scheming on you,
- 35:24Speaker 2: I'll call them, I'll do you know, all this stuff.
- 35:27Speaker 2: When meanwhile she's like, oh, there's this rumor about you know,
- 35:31Speaker 2: you're huhana smelling good. I'm going to bring it up
- 35:34Speaker 2: on camera. I'm going to allude to it in a
- 35:36Speaker 2: way that you know what's going on, that a couple
- 35:39Speaker 2: other people know what's going on, and that the audience
- 35:41Speaker 2: doesn't necessarily know. So I'm gonna make you feel unsettled.
- 35:46Speaker 2: That's what she likes to do. She likes to make
- 35:47Speaker 2: people feel unsettled. She did a thing with Kelly, you know,
- 35:51Speaker 2: like you know, you're sleep with a married man. Porscha
- 35:53Speaker 2: slept with a married man and she gets kissed off
- 35:56Speaker 2: when people bring it up. It's like he was married.
- 35:59Speaker 2: He was married, like we saw married. You could say, oh,
- 36:02Speaker 2: maybe he wasn't with her at the time.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 36:05Speaker 2: We saw he basically steals someone's guy. Not like not
- 36:09Speaker 2: saying that that's good or bad or whatever. It's just
- 36:12Speaker 2: like a fact, and you can't handle people throwing things
- 36:15Speaker 2: at you, and so you just throw things at other people.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole thing with Kelly and the married man
- 36:22Speaker 1: and the married man, he said Dixume of the playing
- 36:24Speaker 1: the marry man. She said, to watch what happens. She
- 36:26Speaker 1: was like, I still don't know.
- 36:27Speaker 2: She's like, we received tell me a name, show me a.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Photo, Like I don't know who this man is, you know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and I kind of I kind of believe Kelly on
- 36:37Speaker 1: this because I do.
- 36:38Speaker 2: She she looked so shocked and confused when that was
- 36:42Speaker 2: brought up, and you could seek Michelle like registering, oh wow,
- 36:45Speaker 2: she's throwing this woman under the bus, and it's just
- 36:48Speaker 2: like from left field, right, and so then like it
- 36:51Speaker 2: happened to Cay Michelle with uh the miscarriage thing. And
- 36:55Speaker 2: then when it's like, oh, she's like a sniper from
- 36:57Speaker 2: the side. Was that what Erica Jane said? Savander Pump,
- 37:01Speaker 2: I feel like that's what porsia portsia is like a
- 37:03Speaker 2: Lisa Vander pump. She claims everything's a joke and she
- 37:06Speaker 2: brings the things that hurt people, and she's incredible television.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I did like that Andy said to it wasn't Shmiah,
- 37:18Speaker 1: it was it was it was on Watch What Happens Live,
- 37:23Speaker 1: and he was talking about maybe it was Kelly and
- 37:25Speaker 1: he was saying about the about the room being dirty,
- 37:29Speaker 1: about the room being dirty.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And he was like, do you want to
- 37:32Speaker 2: apologize apologize to Cynthia?
- 37:34Speaker 1: Yeah, because I mean every they went to dinner, I
- 37:38Speaker 1: pay for everything. I pay for every sprint event. I'm
- 37:40Speaker 1: paying for these gowns to come in. I'm having this
- 37:41Speaker 1: person come in to drip you in jewels. Like Cynthia
- 37:45Speaker 1: killed it on that trip. And how was she to
- 37:48Speaker 1: know that whoever cleaned the house with the airbnbfie didn't
- 37:52Speaker 1: get the guest house like she She got it fixed
- 37:54Speaker 1: as soon as she knew, you know, And they're trying
- 37:58Speaker 1: to make it like Cynthia herself went in there and
- 38:00Speaker 1: like pooped on the bed or something. I mean, she's like,
- 38:02Speaker 1: I didn't know. I fixed it as soon as I
- 38:05Speaker 1: found out.
- 38:05Speaker 2: You know. They overplayed their hand. It was dirty, it
- 38:09Speaker 2: looked like but they overdid it. It was like they
- 38:12Speaker 2: made it into this grievance. And then when she called
- 38:15Speaker 2: them out directly and was like, you told me, I
- 38:18Speaker 2: tried to figure it out. What else are you pissed about?
- 38:21Speaker 2: They couldn't say, which really is like, hey, you put
- 38:26Speaker 2: us in the guest house, meaning that maybe we'll get
- 38:28Speaker 2: less time filming, and you're kind of you're saying that
- 38:31Speaker 2: we're like less than we're not good enough to be
- 38:34Speaker 2: in the main house, and that upset them. But they're
- 38:39Speaker 2: just not able to say that, either because they don't
- 38:41Speaker 2: want to break the fourth.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Wall or but then they didn't come to dinner to film,
- 38:45Speaker 1: so that was their fault.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it was their Shemiah is one of the most
- 38:50Speaker 2: annoying housewives to me. I liked her at the beginning
- 38:53Speaker 2: of last season, and then I realized that she was
- 38:55Speaker 2: putting on a show for all of us that wasn't
- 38:58Speaker 2: necessarily the real her. The real her as someone who
- 39:01Speaker 2: was deeply insecure and has always wanted to be on
- 39:03Speaker 2: the show and whose husband didn't let her, and so
- 39:06Speaker 2: finally something broke in their marriage where she was allowed
- 39:10Speaker 2: to be on this show. He hates it. He never
- 39:13Speaker 2: shows up to anything, and then he's not there to
- 39:17Speaker 2: provide moral support to her. So she gets super close
- 39:20Speaker 2: to Kelly, right, she has to have a friend. But
- 39:24Speaker 2: she was listen, she was friends with Porscha and she
- 39:30Speaker 2: got upset with how Porsia behaved and did not bring
- 39:32Speaker 2: it to Porsche. And that's always a recipe for disaster, like,
- 39:36Speaker 2: at least bring it to her. Porsia could handle when
- 39:38Speaker 2: you bring things to her. She can't make any changes,
- 39:40Speaker 2: you know. I feel like she's almost respecting Drew because
- 39:43Speaker 2: Drew stood up to her and then brought stuff to
- 39:48Speaker 2: her face and then was able to move on. And
- 39:51Speaker 2: she's like, Okay, okay, girl, I see what you're you know,
- 39:53Speaker 2: I was just I was just harassing you for the
- 39:57Speaker 2: first four or five years you were on The show Man,
- 40:00Speaker 2: you know, it's like it's so funny. It's like it's
- 40:04Speaker 2: just funny to watch. And Smia, I don't know what
- 40:07Speaker 2: she thought was gonna happen last season, but she walked
- 40:10Speaker 2: into that with a very bad plan. And I find
- 40:14Speaker 2: her really annoying now.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I find some parts of her annoying. Yeah, she was
- 40:20Speaker 1: on Watch What Happens Live and Andy was like, do you
- 40:22Speaker 1: think it's holding up production because you got to have
- 40:25Speaker 1: the wrong bottle look like your ass. And she is like, well,
- 40:28Speaker 1: now I'm thinking that that she said it. I enjoy
- 40:32Speaker 1: her wealth. I like to see extreme wealth on my television.
- 40:37Speaker 1: And I did think it was funny when she was on.
- 40:39Speaker 1: She was on with Rosie from Rhode Island, which we're
- 40:42Speaker 1: getting to do next, and Andy said something about HVAC.
- 40:46Speaker 1: He said, well, you're sitting next to the HVAC Queen
- 40:49Speaker 1: of Rhode Island. And Rosie goes to me and he goes, no, Shemiah,
- 40:53Speaker 1: her husband is the HVAC King of Rhode Island.
- 40:56Speaker 2: And she roam in Atlanta. No, he said, island because
- 41:01Speaker 2: all of the hbacs are from his company.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Yes, yes, wow, And she goes, that's true, we have
- 41:07Speaker 1: all the business from Rhode Island.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Okay, that is wild.
- 41:10Speaker 1: That is really really so. I know.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I love seeing her house, I love seeing her lifestyle,
- 41:17Speaker 2: but her as a person I just find annoying. She
- 41:20Speaker 2: complains a lot and she doesn't take ownership for anything.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm just like, my god, I find some of the
- 41:27Speaker 1: things she does, like last season when she was like
- 41:29Speaker 1: barking at the table and stuff, I'm like Okay, all right, okay,
- 41:34Speaker 1: everybody else, I'm good. I am liking Angela more and more,
- 41:36Speaker 1: and I will say that a couple of weeks ago,
- 41:39Speaker 1: I was talking to Amy Phillips about Angela's fan Angela.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I asked her about that at Bravo Con. I was like,
- 41:49Speaker 2: She's like eventually like she didn't seem like she's trying
- 41:54Speaker 2: to make this a thing. Yeah, it's like I would
- 41:57Speaker 2: buy that.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Okay, so let me tell you that you can buy
- 42:00Speaker 1: it here. It is. This is from Amazon. This is
- 42:03Speaker 1: a fifty dollars portable fan. So you know I want
- 42:07Speaker 1: one from her.
- 42:08Speaker 2: I want to help her get out of her debt
- 42:10Speaker 2: or her fanruptcy or whatever else.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Is all it is is this exact fan. I'm just
- 42:14Speaker 1: telling you, is this exact fan that she's been dazzled. Okay,
- 42:18Speaker 1: I have it. I own this fan because you know,
- 42:21Speaker 1: I have a million personal fans. I've told everybody one
- 42:23Speaker 1: hundred times. You're watching on video, guys, I'm showing it.
- 42:25Speaker 1: This is the best one. It bends, it's wonderful, you
- 42:29Speaker 1: charge it. This is the best one. I have them
- 42:31Speaker 1: all over the house. I have them in every color.
- 42:33Speaker 1: They're twelve dollars. That's the best fan. Literally go to
- 42:36Speaker 1: my Amazon link and you can find it or just
- 42:38Speaker 1: look it up. This fan is extremely expensive. It's like
- 42:42Speaker 1: a forty nine dollars fan. It does hold it charged
- 42:46Speaker 1: for a long time, and it does use a regular
- 42:49Speaker 1: USBC and it does have a button on it that
- 42:51Speaker 1: does it like air conditioning where it's freezing cold.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's nice.
- 42:56Speaker 1: But it only points directly in this much of a space,
- 43:00Speaker 1: so whatever. No, it's the one tiny you can't like,
- 43:05Speaker 1: but like with ones like this, it does a big area.
- 43:08Speaker 1: So I'm just telling you. I know all about Angela's fan,
- 43:11Speaker 1: and every time I see it, I go, it's this
- 43:13Speaker 1: fan that somebody be dazzled and I don't know how
- 43:18Speaker 1: much she's charging.
- 43:18Speaker 2: For the side when it was a ninety seven degrees.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be good, it would be good. I saw
- 43:24Speaker 1: one the other day that's kind of like this, but
- 43:25Speaker 1: you could like clip it onto your shirt, not like
- 43:28Speaker 1: the one that goes around your neck a little circle.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You clip it on and it blows right up with
- 43:31Speaker 1: your face. I was like, that's a good idea. Yeah, listen, guys,
- 43:35Speaker 1: lady is of a certain age. You don't come at
- 43:37Speaker 1: me with a personal fan.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I know all about it, Honestly, anyone in DC in
- 43:40Speaker 2: the summer, well, I want.
- 43:42Speaker 1: To be sippy, So yeah, Okay, anyway, I'm just letting
- 43:45Speaker 1: you know that Angela's fan not that special, but I'll
- 43:48Speaker 1: probably buy it.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Maybe that's why she's like not super into getting this
- 43:52Speaker 2: produced and all of it.
- 43:53Speaker 1: If it's fifty dollars on Amazon, this fan.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Oh, I would pay. I'd pay like seventy five to
- 43:58Speaker 2: eighty just for a one that says Fangela.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Okay, I get it, but it's heavy and to drop
- 44:06Speaker 1: into your purse all the all the dazzles are gonna
- 44:09Speaker 1: come off. I'm telling you it's not worth it, Okay,
- 44:10Speaker 1: but not probably still buy one. If there's a booth
- 44:12Speaker 1: of Brava kan, I'll still buy it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Rhode Island, let's talk about it, Okay. First, all this
- 44:20Speaker 1: week I loved the scene with Joellen's mom. It was
- 44:24Speaker 1: so interesting to me that the one sister her Joel
- 44:27Speaker 1: and sister the whole time is going it's okay, we
- 44:29Speaker 1: know you did your best, and Joellen's like, you put
- 44:33Speaker 1: me in a reform school and I didn't even drink.
- 44:37Speaker 1: You'd put me in a reform school because I had
- 44:38Speaker 1: boobs and the mom and the and the mom was like,
- 44:41Speaker 1: I know, that's terrible, and the sisters like you did
- 44:43Speaker 1: the best you could. Mom. I was like, oh my god,
- 44:46Speaker 1: the sister is.
- 44:46Speaker 2: The enabler, although I think that they still have a
- 44:52Speaker 2: different like how Joellen things things happened is different how
- 44:56Speaker 2: her mom, because her mom was like, I had to
- 44:57Speaker 2: do something about the lying, and I I think she
- 45:00Speaker 2: thought Joellen was lying about who she was with and
- 45:04Speaker 2: whether she was promiscuous or not the reasons like a child, yes, exactly,
- 45:12Speaker 2: but in her mom's mind this was like a big problem.
- 45:17Speaker 2: And so it's I don't know how if I was
- 45:20Speaker 2: Joel and how I would be able to move on
- 45:23Speaker 2: with my mom if my mom still had her own
- 45:27Speaker 2: version of events that was like factually inaccurate.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Yes, and I think that's why mom this happened. And
- 45:34Speaker 1: I was like, well, I can't remember.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Right, yeah. Yeah. I felt very very bad for Joel.
- 45:42Speaker 2: And I mean that is to get to the point
- 45:43Speaker 2: that the state is willing to take custody of a
- 45:45Speaker 2: child is.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It's basically like, won't get mom, won't come and get you? Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Another thing that was interesting this week was Joellen was
- 45:58Speaker 1: on Watch what Happens Like, Literally did like a catch
- 46:01Speaker 1: up and watch What Happens Live. I watched like six
- 46:02Speaker 1: in a row. Joellen was on and Andy asked the
- 46:06Speaker 1: question who has changed the most? We always asked this
- 46:10Speaker 1: first season of a show to the other people, who
- 46:12Speaker 1: do you think has changed the most? And Joellen pointed
- 46:15Speaker 1: to her nose and said Rula and Andy goes.
- 46:18Speaker 2: REALA got a nose job.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And Andy goes because she got a nose job. And
- 46:22Speaker 1: she goes, I don't know, and Andy goes, well, you
- 46:27Speaker 1: pointed to your nose. So so I think that's interesting
- 46:32Speaker 1: because this week when Rula was in the kitchen like
- 46:34Speaker 1: talking to get with Brian getting ready for the dinner party,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I was like, I'm looking at her. She's a beautiful
- 46:40Speaker 1: woman who has always looked like that, and I'm thinking
- 46:44Speaker 1: she's going to get a nose job. I was thinking
- 46:46Speaker 1: it because she'll see yourself on TV and think that
- 46:48Speaker 1: she needs a nose job, even though obviously she looks
- 46:52Speaker 1: perfect the way she is. I was thinking that, and
- 46:54Speaker 1: then Joellen said she did this week with Joellen and
- 46:58Speaker 1: Brian hosting it wasn't It was Alicia and her guy, right.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. They went to go to Rula when
- 47:08Speaker 2: Rula and Brian were hosting.
- 47:11Speaker 1: That's what it is. The only sha But I can't
- 47:12Speaker 1: remember her guy's name, Billy, Billy. I have to consult
- 47:16Speaker 1: my spreadshe multiple I had to get. I had to
- 47:19Speaker 1: make a spreadsheet to keep them all straight, Mandy, because
- 47:21Speaker 1: I couldn't their faces they were. So it was Alicia
- 47:27Speaker 1: and her guy, we'll call him Billy, went over to
- 47:31Speaker 1: Rula and Brian's for dinner. So Brian gets drunk beforehand, okay,
- 47:38Speaker 1: and start blah blah blah blah blah, like I got fat,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I took a zimpic, I had a wrinkle, I did
- 47:44Speaker 1: bow time.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I micro dos oz that's something you say about like acid, So.
- 47:49Speaker 1: People people micro dose it. Now, that's what Andy Cohen said.
- 47:52Speaker 1: He did all He micro dosed it all summer.
- 47:54Speaker 2: That mean you just take the lowest dose.
- 47:56Speaker 1: You just take the lowest dose, or you take half
- 47:59Speaker 1: of the lowest do but you do it twice a week.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I mean like.
- 48:02Speaker 2: That's taking that's taking ozempic. That's exact, like that's a
- 48:05Speaker 2: normal dose. Yeah, what do you mean microdo scene, like
- 48:08Speaker 2: you're you're not taking a full dose.
- 48:10Speaker 1: You took a tiny shot every day? Is it a
- 48:12Speaker 1: one big one every week? Like it's stupid, Like.
- 48:14Speaker 2: It's so weird.
- 48:15Speaker 1: But he was saying he was, And finally Rula goes okay,
- 48:20Speaker 1: when he comes back from the bathroom, he's got to
- 48:22Speaker 1: quit talking. Give somebody else a chance, because he said,
- 48:25Speaker 1: is it okay? He looks at his phone and says that,
- 48:27Speaker 1: okay if I go to the bathroom and then he
- 48:30Speaker 1: comes back and it's like, oh yeah, I had to
- 48:32Speaker 1: take that work all big important pedietary uh ozimpic botox emergency.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Also, I would never trust a pediatrist who gave botox
- 48:43Speaker 2: and injections in their office. I am so sorry, Like
- 48:45Speaker 2: only dermatology and plastic surgery, I will not.
- 48:50Speaker 1: We have to assume that associated with his pedetary clinic.
- 48:54Speaker 1: He started some kind of a medi spa.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but like that's weird.
- 48:59Speaker 1: It's it is. I would not go to my podieter's
- 49:01Speaker 1: and be like, you got any Olympic back there? How
- 49:05Speaker 1: about some sculpture in my ass? Is that you doing that?
- 49:08Speaker 2: Oh my god. The thing that I can't get over
- 49:11Speaker 2: from that dinner is he was like talking about how
- 49:15Speaker 2: they met, and he was saying, I would order a
- 49:19Speaker 2: double for every single drink, a double for her, and
- 49:24Speaker 2: so she basically saying she was I got her drunk.
- 49:27Speaker 1: That's not basically that is what he said.
- 49:30Speaker 2: He said, yeah, without single consent, like you basically are
- 49:34Speaker 2: saying I drugged my wife the first time time I
- 49:37Speaker 2: met her and thought this was some sort of funny story.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I purposefully got her drunk so I could take advantage
- 49:44Speaker 1: of her. Isn't that hilarious?
- 49:46Speaker 2: I was like, that is so disgusting. And I don't
- 49:50Speaker 2: know what Rula sees in that man. Every single thing
- 49:53Speaker 2: about him sucks everything.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And then he was on watch what happens Live with her, like, look,
- 49:58Speaker 1: everything is great.
- 50:00Speaker 2: And he's like I was wrong, and he's like, but
- 50:03Speaker 2: the mistress was mentally ill. I was like, oh, I'm sure,
- 50:05Speaker 2: I'm sure she's the problem.
- 50:07Speaker 1: It's always some bitch, right, some crazy bitch that who
- 50:12Speaker 1: knows how she became crazy. I'm sure she was just
- 50:15Speaker 1: born that way.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I mean, lah, it's going to be. I want to
- 50:19Speaker 2: watch her come undone.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I want to see her divorces ask to take half
- 50:25Speaker 1: of everything.
- 50:26Speaker 2: She will come undone and then maybe eventually, but like,
- 50:30Speaker 2: just do you remember when they were talking to her
- 50:33Speaker 2: in a confessional and she was talking about how she
- 50:36Speaker 2: doesn't believe in divorce and our culture doesn't believe in
- 50:39Speaker 2: that it's important to stay in your marriage, and they're like,
- 50:41Speaker 2: but you're divorce you were married before. She's like, we're
- 50:47Speaker 2: not talking about that. And I'm like, ooh, you don't
- 50:50Speaker 2: get to go on one of these shows and hold
- 50:53Speaker 2: a secret like that, Like you don't get to pick
- 50:56Speaker 2: and choose what you talk about. If it's out there
- 50:59Speaker 2: in public records, which I guarantee you a marriage and divorces,
- 51:03Speaker 2: just own it. I just I can't stand when people
- 51:06Speaker 2: don't own their own lives and stories.
- 51:09Speaker 1: I can't. Yeah, we wouldn't have any shows if there
- 51:12Speaker 1: weren't unhinged people, right, we wouldn't have any shows. Okay,
- 51:16Speaker 1: speaking of unhinged. So at the end of Rhode Island
- 51:19Speaker 1: this week, we get this big fight between Rosie and Kelsey,
- 51:22Speaker 1: and I knew it was coming because I kept hearing
- 51:23Speaker 1: about it, and I watched it like a couple of
- 51:25Speaker 1: days late. I watched it on Tuesdays to a Sunday,
- 51:28Speaker 1: and so I'm watching it now This has always happens
- 51:30Speaker 1: in my house. The listeners know this. I'll talk about
- 51:32Speaker 1: this constantly. I will be sitting at my den watching
- 51:35Speaker 1: a show and people will come in and talk. Now
- 51:38Speaker 1: I will say, hey, if you guys are going to
- 51:40Speaker 1: be in here, I'm gonna go to my office. No, no, no,
- 51:42Speaker 1: we're leaving you. Oh, don't go upstairs. Don't go upstairs.
- 51:44Speaker 1: They want to like have eyes on me. So I'm like, oh,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna go up to my office and watch my shows.
- 51:49Speaker 1: If you guys are going to keep coming in here talking, well,
- 51:51Speaker 1: they keep coming in, they're talking. I had it paused
- 51:54Speaker 1: where where Rosie and Kelsey were starting to fight. Had
- 51:58Speaker 1: it paused because I knew, like, this is a big
- 51:59Speaker 1: scene and I need to watch it. So I kept
- 52:01Speaker 1: like rolling it back and starting it over, and then
- 52:03Speaker 1: somebody would come in. So finally I was like, I
- 52:05Speaker 1: know it doesn't look like i'm working, but I'm working,
- 52:07Speaker 1: Like I need to watch this. And then I said
- 52:10Speaker 1: to my husband and I go, and you're not gonna
- 52:11Speaker 1: like it because two ladies are fighting and they're screaming
- 52:14Speaker 1: at each other, and you're gonna be like, why do
- 52:17Speaker 1: you watch this trash? Or whatever. So either stay in
- 52:20Speaker 1: here with your mouth zipped, or but I would like
- 52:23Speaker 1: to watch this. I like to go to bed, and
- 52:24Speaker 1: I'm not going to say anything. So they start fighting
- 52:27Speaker 1: and he's in the kitchen doing whatever. And when she says,
- 52:30Speaker 1: you're a slam pig, I paused it because I was
- 52:34Speaker 1: waiting for him. And he goes, wait a minute, does
- 52:36Speaker 1: she just say she's a slam pig? I go, I
- 52:39Speaker 1: paused it because I knew you're gonna have questions. I
- 52:41Speaker 1: don't know the answer. I don't know what that means.
- 52:44Speaker 1: I'm not from Rhode Island. What does it mean?
- 52:47Speaker 2: I felt like it was like self explanatory, like you
- 52:50Speaker 2: just let yourself be the woman that guys slept with
- 52:54Speaker 2: to get things.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're a whore.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what she's basically called her. Like they you know,
- 53:02Speaker 2: like a slam piece.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Okay, like a like a like a like a.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Like having sex without there being a real relationship.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I say, town bike, everybody gets a ride.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Yes, same thing. Slam pig is much funnier.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Yes, totally and much shorter. Well, here's the thing about Kelsey.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Kelsey was in this relationship with this man. They had
- 53:26Speaker 1: an agreement. Good for her. I don't begrudge her being
- 53:30Speaker 1: with this guy for ten years and him paying for
- 53:32Speaker 1: her apartment. She was with that guy for ten years,
- 53:35Speaker 1: they had an agreement. I think it's all in the
- 53:38Speaker 1: up and up. Well, maybe it was eight and she's
- 53:41Speaker 1: rounding up yep, and she's got this new boyfriend, also
- 53:46Speaker 1: probably named Billy, And yeah, fine, I've got a problem
- 53:50Speaker 1: with any of that. Rosie's got a real problem with it. Now.
- 53:53Speaker 1: What was your thought with Kelsey driving up and doing
- 53:57Speaker 1: the look at this eight thousand square foot house? Woo woo,
- 53:59Speaker 1: woo woo.
- 54:01Speaker 2: So I thought that I thought it was funny because
- 54:05Speaker 2: it felt very like Housewives, gimmicky, like Kenya more haircare. Yes,
- 54:10Speaker 2: I think Rosie was in a different dimension. And what
- 54:16Speaker 2: I didn't realize until I heard Rosie speak on the
- 54:19Speaker 2: after show is that there are a lot of things
- 54:24Speaker 2: that Kelsey had said about Rosie prior to that point,
- 54:27Speaker 2: prior to the square footage that was just the straw
- 54:30Speaker 2: that broke the camel's back. She had called her husband gay,
- 54:33Speaker 2: which you know, of course, she had said that Rosie
- 54:38Speaker 2: had an affair with a basketball coach that was like
- 54:41Speaker 2: a big story in Rhode Island. That's not true. Like
- 54:45Speaker 2: she had said all of these things about Rosie trying to, like,
- 54:50Speaker 2: I don't know, just start shit with her, and I
- 54:52Speaker 2: think poked and poked and poked and poked, and Rosie exploded.
- 54:57Speaker 2: And I feel like I understand after she explained all
- 55:00Speaker 2: all of the things that Kelsey was doing, because she
- 55:03Speaker 2: was just sharing these untrue rumors and things about Rosie.
- 55:07Speaker 2: When Rosie's like, you've been lying the whole time and
- 55:10Speaker 2: no one's allowed to say anything. She was living and
- 55:13Speaker 2: I get it, like she just you know. And then
- 55:17Speaker 2: when Kelsey said, oh, but you had your plans, your whatever,
- 55:23Speaker 2: architectural plans and stuff where I was gonna, you know,
- 55:27Speaker 2: supposed to measure the foundation, and it's like, yeah, she
- 55:29Speaker 2: gets to joke about her thing. You don't get to
- 55:31Speaker 2: joke about her thing until you guys are in a
- 55:33Speaker 2: better place, right, Like there was no there was like, oh,
- 55:37Speaker 2: we've agreed to move forward, but there was no like
- 55:39Speaker 2: moving forward prior to the joke. I still think Rosie
- 55:43Speaker 2: could have handled it differently, but it was kind. She's
- 55:46Speaker 2: very fun to watch when she's angry, so.
- 55:50Speaker 1: And I think the whole thing about her saying that
- 55:53Speaker 1: her boyfriend bought her that title of this Rhode Island,
- 55:57Speaker 1: and clearly that's like Kelsey's like.
- 56:00Speaker 2: And she has going for it. She doesn't have anything,
- 56:02Speaker 2: she doesn't do what she hasn't done anything according to her,
- 56:05Speaker 2: you know, she's like, all I've done was being a
- 56:08Speaker 2: kept woman for the last ten years. Okay, okay, so
- 56:13Speaker 2: you have nothing, you have nothing to go for, you know,
- 56:15Speaker 2: And and it it's just weird. I think she was
- 56:18Speaker 2: going after Rosie because Rosie was asking about the relationship
- 56:22Speaker 2: that everyone, I guess had agreed to make it seem
- 56:25Speaker 2: like it was still happening when it ended up before. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 56:30Speaker 2: I think that's and so then she was like, oh,
- 56:33Speaker 2: I'm going to get everyone to go after Rosie. So
- 56:36Speaker 2: then Rosie feels like she's totally alone on the show.
- 56:39Speaker 2: And I get why she totally freaked out. And I
- 56:42Speaker 2: am excited for I've liked seeing her angry. I like
- 56:46Speaker 2: seeing her call people out. I want them all to
- 56:49Speaker 2: answer for what she said. Prove prove you were with
- 56:52Speaker 2: this guy. Bring him on, let him explain what happened.
- 56:57Speaker 2: What house was that? Was that really his house or
- 57:00Speaker 2: was that in ex's mother's house and then you just
- 57:04Speaker 2: moved into film for a little bit. Ooh you know,
- 57:08Speaker 2: like I want to see, Like that's a pretty big
- 57:10Speaker 2: accusation to come on with a story just because you
- 57:14Speaker 2: thought you weren't interesting enough to be a housewife on
- 57:17Speaker 2: its own.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Oh well, I had heard that that she was filming
- 57:22Speaker 1: in a different house, but I mean that was all
- 57:26Speaker 1: her shit in the closet. I mean, you know, oh yeah,
- 57:28Speaker 1: she they claim is that she moved all this stuff
- 57:31Speaker 1: in to like film and that she wasn't actually living there,
- 57:35Speaker 1: and that people on the streets right, No, but she's
- 57:40Speaker 1: being but she's she's selling us a story that doesn't exist,
- 57:45Speaker 1: Whereas like when Meredith Marks lives in a place that
- 57:49Speaker 1: looks unlived in, it's like, okay, she's clearly doing that
- 57:52Speaker 1: just a film, But she's actually married to Seth and
- 57:54Speaker 1: she actually has these three children, and she actually has
- 57:57Speaker 1: a jewelry business.
- 57:59Speaker 2: But it seems like Kelsey is a house of cards.
- 58:01Speaker 2: But there's nothing mayor right. But but I enjoy all
- 58:06Speaker 2: of them, and I love all of them, like there's
- 58:09Speaker 2: not a single one of them that I don't like.
- 58:11Speaker 2: I am fascinated and I cannot wait to see what
- 58:15Speaker 2: comes out about Liz.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Okay, so was it? It was? It's Liz's friend Dom
- 58:23Speaker 1: that's been had all the arrests for drug trafficking. That
- 58:26Speaker 1: when yeah, Dino. So, when Liz's husband decided to be
- 58:30Speaker 1: a offshore fisherman or or something, he said like, Hey,
- 58:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take up
- 58:35Speaker 1: this like real weird hobby and be gone for eight
- 58:38Speaker 1: months of the year. So you hang out with my
- 58:40Speaker 1: best friend Dom, and Dom has been like, wait, isn't
- 58:46Speaker 1: that you Dino? I wrote Dom on my notes, Dom, Dino,
- 58:50Speaker 1: Billy Bill, Oh my god, the women have the same face.
- 58:58Speaker 1: So Dino. So hangs out with Dino and Dino. It
- 59:02Speaker 1: turns out has been not only like arrested a few
- 59:05Speaker 1: times for like drug trafficking, but like you know, like
- 59:08Speaker 1: FBI kind of federal mop tize mob tize and whatnot.
- 59:13Speaker 1: So that's not great. It's not great.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Well, that's what I'm here to watch. I did not
- 59:18Speaker 2: know that there was like a big mob thing in
- 59:20Speaker 2: Rhode Island, but my friend of mine, her husband the
- 59:24Speaker 2: waterway was like a federal prosecutor and or a prosecutor
- 59:30Speaker 2: in the Boston area, and he was like, oh yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 2: like one of the crime families. If there's like Boston,
- 59:35Speaker 2: Rhode Island, they're all like connected. And so I'm like,
- 59:39Speaker 2: I want to see what's happening, because Liz's whole thing
- 59:44Speaker 2: is like, oh, I make money on selling weed legally.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Uh huh okay, So.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Then why do you need to also make money on
- 59:52Speaker 2: selling cocaine and all these other things.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Well, I'm let me just I'm looking fascinated, okay, because
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I want to make sure that I'm saying this right
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: before I say it. Yeah, okay. So on Love After
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: lock Up, here's where we're getting a crossover. We're getting
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: a We're getting a TLC Bravo crossover. Okay. On Love
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: After lock Up, there's a couple. His name, his rapper
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: name is Montana Mills. His name is Michael Persad. He
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: has a wife. Her name is Justine. He was arrested
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: in Rhode Island. Uh four let's see, uh thirty six
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: months in federal prison for trafficking heroin and fentanyl and
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: sixteen drug related and conspiracy charges in Pennsylvania from a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: separate twenty sixteen undercover drug sting. So he was in
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: federal prison, fentanyl, heroin, and he had a rap career
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: at the same time. But he was like openly rapping
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: about what he was doing. Okay, sorry, but he explain
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: one time about Rhode Island. He was like, it's a
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: tiny state. No matter where you are, you're not too
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: far from the water, and it's from from here. You
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: jump on this highway you could get here. From here,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: you jump with this like New York, Connecticut, you can do.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: He talked about like why Rhode Island was so great
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: for drug trafficking. So I knew about Rhode Island, and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: as we were talking about it, I was like, this
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: sounds like some Montana millshit. And that's why I was like,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I just want to make sure that I'm not besmirching
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the wrong state. Now, Rhode Island also has Newport, which
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: is such a beautiful place to.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I just like didn't know about this other part
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: of Rhode Island, which is apparently well known to people
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: in the area.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: So Liz's husband was off offshore fishing, right, is that
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: what he was doing?
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know. I don't think so.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: It's all alleged. I don't know anything about anything. I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: just know that Liz looks like Tandalorus. That's all I know.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Here comes Tandelores. That's how I have to remember her.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Dolores is already tan. Liz looks like correct, like fully
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: baked Dolores.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, yes, they've got that. You know, Italian,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I get it. But I think Liz somewhere in that
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: mansion on the water has a tanning bit.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's not a spray tan. That feels like
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: full on, like that's what's.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Fit propic sun or Yeah, it's so even that there's
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: no way that she's not entertaining, but like arms up, makeing,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: she get the pits like everything. Yeah, god, bless you know.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I don't know. It's not good for your melanoma. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: thought that was interesting. So those are all my key
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: points of this last episode. It was great because everybody
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: can hype it upping it up.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Can we talk for one second just about the scene
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: with Alicia driving with her husband. I'm telling you I
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: laughed so hard as someone who grew up with a
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: mom that was very bad driver.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: My mom is currently a bad driver. She's she's eighty five,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: but she was a bad driver when she was forty five.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just I mean, I don't want to laugh,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: but it's just everything that Alicia does is pure comedy gold.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: I hope that she stays the way that she is forever.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: I worry that we're going to hype her up so
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: much that maybe she'll change. But she is so funny.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: She can't. She calls singular things plural, and then singular
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: things and then plural things. She can't say thees on
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: and like you say, Jane's Fonda, but you can't say
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: the plural of ghost. It's it's perfect. It's so funny.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: She can't say. She can't say crackers. She can't. And
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: by the way, that was my daughter's first word. That
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: was Anna's first word, not Dad. It was a cracker.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, she wanted a cracker. Hey, I just
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: got wheat thins at the grocery store the other day
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: because I walked by them and thought I could use
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: a cracker.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I could use a cracker. And it's so funny. She's
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: before she could drive. She had to have a cracker
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and I they asked, I guess it was. It was
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Joellen that was on Watch What Happens Live just recently.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I think because it was Joelle and her sister and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the husband were behind the bar. Yeah. They asked her
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: if if they knew that about Alicia. She goes, yeah,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: she was. When I get in the car, I kind
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: of have to do the same thing that like her
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: husband did, like really talk her through it and the
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: andies like I just wouldn't get in the car with her.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: She has a phobia like people have phobias of elevators
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: or things. I understand the bridge thing because I can't
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: go across the Bay Bridge alone, Like if somebody doesn't
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: go with me, I'm not going, like I can't. So
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I understand the fear of bridges, But her is a
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: fear of driving.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and I wonder how much of it is because
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: she hit someone and that was like so traumatic that
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: she Can we.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Just get the story on that I hit someone? Can
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: we get more information?
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: The woman is okay, that's what I know.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Okay, good.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like she hit and killed someone like
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: the woman of Spine. But I think it was a
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: very traumatic thing for the person who did the hitting,
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: possibly than the person that got it.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: We're just like wait, what because normally you would think
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: it'd be the other way but and I just want
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: to know what she like this before she hit a
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: woman in her car or get much worse, because it
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: feels like she has regressed.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I think, yeah, And I do hope that she
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: makes that guy marry her or gets some sort of
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: agreement in place with him, because I don't like that
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: she's coming out of this with nothing. Well she's not.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: They've been together a long time. Okay, Mandy, what else
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: are you watching? Are you watching anything else? Are you
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: just so focused on Bravo you have no time?
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Oh that's a very good question. So I'm starting to
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: watch Laguna Beach. I missed it when it was first
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: on and Kelly is so random Williams. I had Kelly
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Williams on my podcast and we talked about it, and
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: she convinced me to start watching season one, episode one.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: What year is that from.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: It's like two thousand and six or two thousand and seven. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: I missed a lot of things from that era. I
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: was not watching TV as much like I remember, like
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: hearing and seeing sort of like, but that was by
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: the time I got to the Hills, Like I actually
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: didn't know prior to that.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I'll watched a little bit of the Hills. It was
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I mean, obviously not my age range of people, but
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I did watch a little bit of The Hills, so
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: sometimes I kind of I kind of understand the ins
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: and outs of it.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: And I, you know, finished watching The Pit which I
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: absolutely loved, Okay, and I according took a recommendation for
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: My Day, which is on Netflix. There is a documentary
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: called The Five Families, which is about the history of
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: the mafia. Ooh that and it starts in Sicily. And
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I didn't realize that Sicily wasn't always part of Italy,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: and like that's why culturally and food wise and all
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: of that, it's like a little different because it wasn't
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: part of Italy until like eighteen sixty.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Permanently it was a separate country.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: It was different countries owned it as an island.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't know it was an island, so there
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you go.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: It's it's a large island off the coast of Italy.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: And I didn't realize how much of it, Like I
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: knew Sicilian and Mafia was sort of tied. I didn't
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: know anything. Basically, I was watching Goodfellas with my dad
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: in Joyce and there was some comment about like, oh,
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: he's a made man or he's going to be made
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: and I was like made of what? My dad like
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: stopped the movie and gave me like a thirty minute.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: You had me until that.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, oh, I know nothing. Okay, I'm
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: going to launch a documentary about the Mob to learn
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: and now I'm like, maybe it'll give me under better
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: understanding of the history and Rhode Island and all.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Of that and New Jersey and all of that.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: It's so it's it's interesting.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: You do wonder if that's how Dolores and Liz got
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: to know each other.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Yep, But does laurs have like ties like New Jersey
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: always seemed to mob adjacent like the Real Housewives of
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: New Jersey, but mob adjacent with the Manzos. The more
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: recent cast seemed more like adjacent not actual. Yeah, oh
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: my gosh. Speaking of Jersey, do you think Jen Fessler
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: slept with West?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Yes? I do.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I do too, And.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: You know, I don't follow I don't watch Summer House.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I am following the drama, of course, Like it's like
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: it is my job. I mean, it is my job,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: but I'm following the drama even though I don't. I
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: am going to watch the reunion even though I don't
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: watch the show.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Are you going to watch in the city, because it's
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: going to be it's more like the valley And then
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: it's like older people. They're not that different in age,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: but it just feels more mature. The valley doesn't feel mature,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: but in the city feels more mature.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Well, I love anything New York, so maybe I'll watch
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: in the city.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: It's cool. I mean it started. They do a thing
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: where it's like Tribeca and the Financial District and so ho,
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: and it's cool, like you see different parts of the city.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: I'm hoping they'll keep filming outside and in cool restaurants
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: and bars and all that. I like.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: I like anything like you know, New York and Jason
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: And did they announce the date of when Jersey's coming back?
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: They think about it like in present sense now, yes,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: But I.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Saw on Instagram this morning that Joe and Melissa threw
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: a surprise party for Teresa, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: they're really laying I'm thick here for Wow.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: They're like, they gotta get this show back. I know.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: They announced the date for the OC and they announced
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the date for Ultimate Girls Strip road Trip. They've announced
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: some dates and Next Gen Next Gen which season two
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: didn't watch. Don't know if I'm gonna watch it. Everybody
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: says it's good. I just had a very hard time
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: relating to it.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: You know what else I'm watching on Brablo though, Southern Hospitality.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: He says it's really good. It's really good, and I
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: find it really interesting.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Okay, a lot of people like that too. They do,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: just you know, sometimes when I don't get into it,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I'm just like, it's too late for me. You know.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I never watched Miami the first time around, and I
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: benched it before same. It came back to Peacock.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: No exact same. I had never seen it, and I
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: watched like starting season one, episode one, and I did
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: not know Larsa Pippen looked like that.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: No, I was like who.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: And I was also like, who's this gorgeous woman? What
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: did she? What did you do to her?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Where is she? Yeah? That was interesting and then it
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: was sad. I cannot believe that they canceled it, Like,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: it makes zero sense to me.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I think it's coming back. I think it's on pause.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I think they're gonna like rework it just for peacock
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: or something like that.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Well that's fine. I mean Lisa Hawk scene like it
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: gets arrested, like.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I know, and the charges were just dropped today.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I saw that. I saw that and another one last
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: piece of Ravo news I did see right before we
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: came on to record that Wendy and Eddie. The two
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: things that came out of their hearing today was number one,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: they will be tried together because they first they they
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: asked together and then they asked separate, and now they
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: will be tried together. Okay, And their trial is set
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: for January twenty five through twenty seventh, twenty twenty seven.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Who and that with the last with the like the
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: premotion trial whatever stept for like for like January thirteenth,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: like a week and a half ahead, which is what
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: happened with Karen Huger when she went in and said, Okay,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: now I said I did it. Do you know what
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I mean?
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Like Karen Huger didn't say she did that. That was
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: like Gentshaw.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: It was Genshaw. Yeah, she admitted it. Huger rolled.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: And lost just yeah, flat out just guilty verdict.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: She was like, what are you talking about? I would
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: never so try it together and it will be January
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: twenty fifth, twenty twenty seven is when that travels start,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and then a week and a half before they're going
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to do the pretrial stuff, which will be her last,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: their last chance to say like okay, just completely guilty.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: They do they have to if they want to have
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: a shorter sentence. I just don't see how they get
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: out of this. There's so at least against Eddie, there's
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: so much evidence.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, just email it, Just just email your wife and go, hey,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: make sure you're digging through those closets for worship. We
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: can claim sin.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: And her wearing rings that she claimed were stolen, like
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: just within weeks of claiming.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: In that laying, she had a dupe made but then
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: couldn't produce the dupe.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Right, I'm like, that's okay, It's more than just that.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: There's other outfits. There's other bags, the other things.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: It's not good.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: And you can't claim to be stupid because your whole
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: thing was like I'm smart. Those are two degrees.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: These are two extremely highly educated people, especially Eddie being
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: a lawyer.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: A lawyer and he has an NBA.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, these are not these are no.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: She knew how to commit fraud getting caught.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Yes, how they got caught.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: We're not smart.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I've written down the Five Families documentary I've written.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's really good.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I'm glad now that you know what a maide man is. Yeah.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: And I didn't realize why this guy in the movie
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: couldn't be a made man. He was only half Sicilian.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't be a made mane not with that family. Everybody.
