- 0:34Speaker 1: Welcome to today's featured radio archive. We actually had decided
- 0:38Speaker 1: on one hour, and we decided on this hour instead.
- 0:41Speaker 1: This is Lloyd Bonafide. This is Lloyd Bonafide from May
- 0:44Speaker 1: of 2005, and it was during a very sad, sad
- 0:48Speaker 1: episode concerning a lady named Terri Chabot, a lady who
- 0:51Speaker 1: was in a coma, and in a coma for a
- 0:52Speaker 1: long time. It garnered international headlines, and the interest of
- 0:56Speaker 1: all kinds of people Lloyd comes on and says that
- 0:58Speaker 1: the lady in the coma is being photographed every night,
- 1:01Speaker 1: in fact, on live video, and she's grinning, she's smiling,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and he feels he's.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Being mocked because he has erectile dysfunction.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Oh, you're laughing at her.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm laughing at him because he has erectile dysfunction.
- 1:14Speaker 1: What's so funny about that? The fact that he is
- 1:16Speaker 1: paranoid about this lady in a coma, never mind. Here
- 1:19Speaker 1: it is, Lloyd Bonafide and his stupid The story of
- 1:24Speaker 1: Terri Schiavo is a tragic story. A young woman who
- 1:27Speaker 1: has been in a coma for several years. You've heard
- 1:30Speaker 1: the story. Her family now at each other's throats as
- 1:34Speaker 1: to the disposition of this woman's life. The husband wants
- 1:39Speaker 1: to have life support terminated. Other members of her extended
- 1:43Speaker 1: family want to keep Terri Schiavo alive. And through it all,
- 1:48Speaker 1: we have been privy to this story through the news media.
- 1:52Speaker 1: specifically images of this woman as she lay in her
- 1:54Speaker 1: hospital bed being cared for by members of her family.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Mr.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Lloyd Bonafide is a retiree living in the Alhambra, California
- 2:02Speaker 1: area who has sent out actually an email to media
- 2:07Speaker 1: and media has responded to your email. I want to
- 2:10Speaker 1: welcome you to our program, Mr. Bonafide, and ask you
- 2:13Speaker 1: to read as well the letter that you sent to
- 2:16Speaker 1: the media. But first I want to ask you why
- 2:18Speaker 1: you got involved personally in this story.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Phil, I first saw the story on the nightly news.
- 2:27Speaker 4: My wife and I both saw the story on the
- 2:29Speaker 4: nightly news, and it was our opinion that this woman's
- 2:35Speaker 4: image being broadcast over the news media of the United
- 2:40Speaker 4: States was beginning to have, I felt, a very negative
- 2:44Speaker 4: effect on many of our senior citizens, individuals who have
- 2:48Speaker 4: had a tough time time in life. And what I
- 2:52Speaker 4: mean by that is any individual who may have had
- 2:55Speaker 4: employment difficulties, veterans who are wounded, individuals who experience any
- 3:03Speaker 4: malady from it, be it sexual dysfunction to the loss
- 3:10Speaker 4: of income. I wrote the following. Your producer said that
- 3:15Speaker 4: I should read this.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah, go ahead and read it.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Yes, sir. I wrote the following email to the members
- 3:20Speaker 4: of the media at the level of press, television, and radio.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Recent images showing the poor, unfortunate circumstance of Mrs. Terry Chaveau,
- 3:30Speaker 4: and which show graphically the condition of this unfortunate woman,
- 3:34Speaker 4: have also spurred comment in the senior citizen community that
- 3:38Speaker 4: the image of Ms. Chaveau, who is very evidently smiling
- 3:42Speaker 4: with her eyes open, even though she is in a
- 3:45Speaker 4: complete coma... is an unnecessary and cynical image and exploits
- 3:51Speaker 4: the vulnerability of billions of Americans, those who are terminally ill,
- 3:55Speaker 4: and others currently fighting life to be a struggle. We
- 3:59Speaker 4: respectfully request that all further images of Terri Schiavo, the
- 4:03Speaker 4: woman who is in a coma but still grins with
- 4:06Speaker 4: her eyes open, be ceased.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Now, why don't you want to see any more pictures
- 4:11Speaker 2: of Terri Schiavo?
- 4:13Speaker 4: Well, my wife asked me the same question when we
- 4:16Speaker 4: began this email campaign, and I'll tell you what I
- 4:19Speaker 4: told her, because here is a woman, and this poor
- 4:24Speaker 4: gal has been in this state, but every night the
- 4:29Speaker 4: news media brings us an image of her, and in
- 4:32Speaker 4: each and every image, Mr. Henry, the woman has an
- 4:37Speaker 4: enormous grin on her face, even though she's in a stark,
- 4:41Speaker 4: raving coma. This mocks her. in my opinion, people who struggle.
- 4:46Speaker 4: And it was.
- 4:46Speaker 2: She's not doing it on purpose.
- 4:48Speaker 4: No, no, sir. No, I'm not. No, I don't think
- 4:50Speaker 4: she's doing it on purpose. But the question needs to
- 4:54Speaker 4: be asked. Why would someone in a coma be grinning,
- 5:00Speaker 4: you know, with a big, you know, forgive my, with
- 5:03Speaker 4: a crap-eating grin on her face? Why would she be
- 5:09Speaker 4: doing that? And I've had blood pressure problems.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Again, she's not doing it on purpose.
- 5:15Speaker 4: No, she's not doing it on purpose, but there's no reason.
- 5:18Speaker 4: And I seen here on TV just the other day
- 5:22Speaker 4: on the NBC, and I was watching the gentleman on
- 5:26Speaker 4: the NBC, and he, well, now let's go down to Florida,
- 5:31Speaker 4: and as you know, the news media will go there.
- 5:34Speaker 4: And once again, here is this woman who has been
- 5:37Speaker 4: in a coma, smiling. You ask yourself, why? Why is
- 5:41Speaker 4: she smiling? Why is she... She's in a coma, but
- 5:45Speaker 4: she's grinning like a Cheshire cat.
- 5:47Speaker 5: And why.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Because the muscles atrophy that way.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I know that, yes. And also, but
- 5:54Speaker 4: it is still difficult to look at when you are
- 5:59Speaker 4: struggling with life.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Why do you say that?
- 6:02Speaker 4: Because if she's in a coma and she's smiling like
- 6:06Speaker 4: she just hit the lottery, it marks... The real struggles
- 6:14Speaker 4: of the rest of us. And I have asked the
- 6:17Speaker 4: people at NBC and the people on the CNBC broadcast
- 6:22Speaker 4: that my wife and I enjoy so very deeply and
- 6:26Speaker 4: the other broadcasts if they will cease. And they have
- 6:29Speaker 4: said no, they will not.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Okay, so you've gotten your definite answer.
- 6:32Speaker 4: I've gotten my definite answer. And so I came to
- 6:36Speaker 4: them with a compromise statement. which I said to the
- 6:40Speaker 4: people at the CNBC and over the MSNBC, which are
- 6:43Speaker 4: the two of the channels that my wife Gloria and
- 6:47Speaker 4: I watch, I said, would you please then have the
- 6:50Speaker 4: common decency to at least when you are filming Bishavo
- 6:56Speaker 4: to drape either a towel or a napkin or something
- 7:00Speaker 4: across her face in a respectful way so that she's,
- 7:07Speaker 4: you know, she's not... And this is not insulting people.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Hold on for a minute.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Are you reading into this woman's expression some kind of
- 7:15Speaker 1: a mocking thing?
- 7:17Speaker 4: I don't believe the woman is. Mr. Henry, I'm a
- 7:19Speaker 4: Korean War veteran. I fought for this country in Korea.
- 7:23Speaker 4: And I think that of all the people in your
- 7:26Speaker 4: audience who has a right to request that they not
- 7:31Speaker 4: be made fun of, it's me.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Who is me?
- 7:34Speaker 1: If Terri Chavo is not making fun of you, I
- 7:37Speaker 1: don't believe she is, no. And And she's not. Do
- 7:41Speaker 1: you think NBC is making fun of it? And this
- 7:43Speaker 1: isn't just NBC. This is all of the.
- 7:44Speaker 4: No, no, I know. It's all the electronic media.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all the media that has been there with
- 7:49Speaker 2: photographic equipment. Are they mocking you?
- 7:52Speaker 4: I think that they're being, yeah, I think that they're
- 7:55Speaker 4: being insensitive. And we look at today in the broad,
- 7:59Speaker 4: in all of the TV shows you look at, and
- 8:01Speaker 4: everything is filth, filth, filth. And everything is, now it's
- 8:06Speaker 4: just nonstop filth. And once they get the filth under control,
- 8:11Speaker 4: then because they can't, it seems like they can't get
- 8:14Speaker 4: their jollies showing you graphic filth, so then they decide
- 8:19Speaker 4: to make fun of you. And so they just, okay,
- 8:22Speaker 4: we won't show Janet Jackson's breast, but why don't we
- 8:25Speaker 4: have this woman in a coma grinning at a man
- 8:29Speaker 4: who has had sexual dysfunction or a veteran who is
- 8:32Speaker 4: suffering from hard times.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Why is her grin?
- 8:36Speaker 4: Because she's in the coma.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All right, so in other words, a woman in a
- 8:41Speaker 1: coma is smiling, and that mocks the difficulties that other
- 8:45Speaker 1: people are having.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And your reasoning is because if a woman in a
- 8:50Speaker 1: coma can smile, then everybody else is some kind.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Of a sissy?
- 8:53Speaker 4: Well, yes, in a way, yes. Because if she's in
- 8:57Speaker 4: a deep, dark coma, and she's Rip Van Winkle, you know,
- 9:04Speaker 4: And she's got a big, you know, crap-eating grin. Excuse
- 9:07Speaker 4: me for saying it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's not a crap-eating grin, sir. It's not like she
- 9:10Speaker 1: doesn't have a secret she's hiding.
- 9:12Speaker 4: No, I know that. But I'm just saying, if she
- 9:15Speaker 4: can smile that way, then I'm not allowed to complain
- 9:19Speaker 4: about anything. And I think it's unfair.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And so you're asking that somehow they drape a towel
- 9:26Speaker 1: over her face or a napkin or something?
- 9:28Speaker 6: Yes, sir.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I think so. I think we've seen enough of this poor,
- 9:31Speaker 4: unfortunate woman's face. Gritting from ear to ear, like she's,
- 9:38Speaker 4: you know, she just won, what was the thing you
- 9:41Speaker 4: were just talking about? The American Idol show. All right.
- 9:47Speaker 1: All right. Hold on for a minute. 1-800-449-8686 is the number.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You know the 1-800-449-8686. I'm sorry, I haven't given the
- 9:55Speaker 1: phone number out until now. But I've been talking here
- 9:57Speaker 1: with Lloyd Bonafide about this lady, Terri Sheffield.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Ms.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Chavo has been in.
- 10:02Speaker 1: A coma, and every time we see her on television,
- 10:06Speaker 1: her muscles have atrophied into a position where her face,
- 10:08Speaker 1: she's grinning, she's smiling.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Mr.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Bonafide has written a number of emails to the news
- 10:15Speaker 1: media asking that they not show her on TV anymore.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Not because it's disturbing, but because it is a mocking
- 10:25Speaker 1: kind of a smile.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Is that right, sir?
- 10:27Speaker 4: Yes, that's correct. It's simply, you know, it's almost like,
- 10:32Speaker 4: you know, I'm in a coma and I'm smiling, so
- 10:35Speaker 4: you must be some kind of a, you know, a P-U-S-S,
- 10:38Speaker 4: and I don't want to spell it out, but... Okay,
- 10:40Speaker 4: all right.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And so you've asked the broadcast media to stop doing that,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and if they won't do that, and they refused.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yes, sir, they did refuse.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So now.
- 10:49Speaker 1: the next time they go into her hospital room, forgive me,
- 10:55Speaker 1: put a towel, you said a towel or a napkin?
- 10:57Speaker 4: Anything. You can put anything. Generally, when they serve them
- 11:01Speaker 4: their food, they bring a plate where there's a napkin
- 11:04Speaker 4: available or something. We want, or you can put a
- 11:09Speaker 4: black screen on there, a napkin on her face. Anything
- 11:12Speaker 4: to keep her from smiling at me And, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 4: she looks like she just dropped the kids off at
- 11:19Speaker 4: the pool after being constipated for a week, you know?
- 11:23Speaker 4: And I find it to be an offensive thing.
- 11:28Speaker 1: All right, 1-800-449-8686. Terri Chavo, she's been in a coma.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Her face is seen on TV every night. She's the
- 11:35Speaker 1: lady who is laying there with kind of that smile
- 11:37Speaker 1: on her face as they help her.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Mr. Bonafide believes that that smile is.
- 11:45Speaker 1: It's a cynical smile. It's one that makes fun of
- 11:48Speaker 1: the misfortune of other people. Can they just not show
- 11:52Speaker 1: her face on TV? And if they do, if they
- 11:54Speaker 1: have to show the hospital room, can they drape a
- 11:56Speaker 1: towel or a napkin over her face so it's not offensive?
- 12:00Speaker 1: And certainly these things have been requested before in the past.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Would you mind, you know, blacking out someone's eyes? Would
- 12:06Speaker 1: you mind blacking out or pixelating a certain part of
- 12:09Speaker 1: the screen? He would like to have her face either
- 12:13Speaker 1: pixelated or a towel.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Put over it.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Terry Chaveau and her smile while she's in a coma.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Does it mock gentlemen like Mr. Bonafide who is suffering
- 12:20Speaker 1: from sexual dysfunction?
- 12:21Speaker 2: 1-800-449-8686. Phil Hendry Show. The Phil Hendry Show.
- 12:25Speaker 1: We're back with Lloyd Bonafide, a gentleman who has been
- 12:35Speaker 1: in the media lately on the Terry Chaveau case.
- 12:38Speaker 2: And Terri Schiavo is the Florida mother.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And wife who has been in a coma now for,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I think, somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 years, maybe longer.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And we see her on television. The image of her face,
- 12:49Speaker 1: she is sort of, her face is sort of frozen
- 12:52Speaker 1: in a half smile. Her eyes are open. She's in
- 12:56Speaker 1: this coma, as I mentioned, you think the plug should
- 12:58Speaker 1: be pulled on her.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Yes, sir, we certainly do, and we certainly support her
- 13:04Speaker 4: husband in that feeling, because, again, you have to get
- 13:09Speaker 4: back to the fact that every night the news media
- 13:12Speaker 4: has decided to shove into our homes this picture of
- 13:19Speaker 4: her smiling. Now, if you put yourself in the shoes
- 13:23Speaker 4: of the husband... who goes to that hospital every day.
- 13:28Speaker 4: She's taken care of. She's fed. She's wiped and powdered
- 13:35Speaker 4: or whatever they do. I don't know. And she has
- 13:38Speaker 4: a bedpan that's emptied religiously. And through it all, she's smiling.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I think it would make any man decide the best
- 13:48Speaker 4: thing to do is pull a plug When you're emptying
- 13:52Speaker 4: a woman's bedpan and she's grinning at you, I think
- 13:56Speaker 4: it's something where you just say to yourself, okay, that
- 13:59Speaker 4: tears it. It's one thing to have to do that
- 14:03Speaker 4: kind of work. It's another thing to have her smiling
- 14:06Speaker 4: back at me.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but again, again, she's not doing it on purpose.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I understand that, Mr. Henry, but sometimes it goes beyond that.
- 14:17Speaker 7: All right, 1-800-449-8686.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Do you think Terri Schiavo should have the plug pulled
- 14:22Speaker 1: on her if for no other reason than her husband
- 14:26Speaker 1: coming in every day to empty a bedpan, sees her
- 14:28Speaker 1: smiling back at him?
- 14:30Speaker 2: And you, Mr.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Bonafide, as a consumer of the news, seeing that smiling
- 14:34Speaker 1: face makes you feel a little, makes you feel less
- 14:39Speaker 1: of a man because you've got a lot of problems.
- 14:41Speaker 1: She's in a comb and she's smiling.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Yes, sir, and I think a lot of Americans share
- 14:45Speaker 4: this opinion. I think that you'll find an outpouring of
- 14:48Speaker 4: people who support me. I've gotten the email. I've gotten
- 14:51Speaker 4: so many people calling and saying, right, you are, boy,
- 14:55Speaker 4: I don't know where you live, but I've got to
- 14:57Speaker 4: meet you.
- 14:58Speaker 1: All right, 1-800-449-8686. Let's go to a phone call. John, hi,
- 15:02Speaker 1: you're on the Phil Henry Show.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Hello?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yes, sir, go right ahead.
- 15:06Speaker 8: Yes, I really don't understand the reasoning of this, Mr. Bonafide,
- 15:10Speaker 8: in talking about... Terry, I don't think he really understands
- 15:14Speaker 8: that much about her and talking about that her smile
- 15:18Speaker 8: is painted.
- 15:19Speaker 4: On or whatever.
- 15:20Speaker 8: He doesn't know whether she's been in a deep coma.
- 15:22Speaker 8: This woman gives a lot of response to her parents.
- 15:25Speaker 8: I don't know if her smile comes from that or what,
- 15:28Speaker 8: and he doesn't know either. I don't understand why he's
- 15:32Speaker 8: worried about her smiling. He doesn't even have to watch
- 15:34Speaker 8: it if he doesn't want to. Why does he constantly
- 15:37Speaker 8: have to think that he's watching something if it bothers
- 15:40Speaker 8: him that much?
- 15:40Speaker 4: Well, first of all, the news media broadcasts it all
- 15:44Speaker 4: over the television.
- 15:45Speaker 8: You don't have to watch it.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I understand that, sir, but she doesn't have to be
- 15:50Speaker 4: grinning back at me as if I'm letting her in.
- 15:53Speaker 8: There you go again. Everything you say is something that
- 15:55Speaker 8: you can control.
- 15:57Speaker 4: I'm sorry?
- 15:57Speaker 8: Everything that you're complaining about is something you have control over.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Look at what? What do you mean I have control over?
- 16:03Speaker 8: You don't have to look at something if you don't
- 16:05Speaker 8: want to.
- 16:06Speaker 4: So you're in favor of pornography on television?
- 16:09Speaker 8: Oh, that's a wonderful comment.
- 16:11Speaker 4: That has a lot to do with this. Well, you
- 16:12Speaker 4: can control that, too, can't you? You can control that, too, Jim.
- 16:18Speaker 8: What kind of reasoning does that have to do with it?
- 16:20Speaker 4: It's exactly the reasoning that you're using, sir. And I
- 16:23Speaker 4: would say that, well, are you trying.
- 16:24Speaker 2: To say that Ms. Chavo's face, the smile, is pornographic?
- 16:28Speaker 4: I'm not saying it's pornographic, no. But I am saying
- 16:31Speaker 4: it causes the same kind of emotional distress that pornography
- 16:35Speaker 4: can cause. Because all of a sudden, she's smiling back
- 16:39Speaker 4: at me. What's she smiling about?
- 16:41Speaker 5: See?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Mr.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Henry?
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 16:43Speaker 8: Could I just get another point before I don't have
- 16:45Speaker 8: any more time?
- 16:46Speaker 2: I don't have much time.
- 16:46Speaker 4: But I want to say the husband comes and empties
- 16:49Speaker 4: that bedpan and she's smiling back at him. I think
- 16:51Speaker 4: that's an insult.
- 16:52Speaker 8: He's talking about this husband. I think if you look
- 16:55Speaker 8: into some of the facts about this, there's a very
- 16:57Speaker 8: big question about this husband and what his role in
- 17:01Speaker 8: all of this is. It's possible this woman has fractures
- 17:06Speaker 8: in her body that they found through x-rays and there's
- 17:08Speaker 8: a very.
- 17:11Speaker 8: Possibility that this was a battered woman.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Oh, now, don't start going down a road that you
- 17:16Speaker 4: can't back up on, my friend. Well, and let's just
- 17:19Speaker 4: stick to the facts.
- 17:20Speaker 8: If you look into it, you tell me whether you
- 17:22Speaker 8: believe some of these stories or not.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Sir, I've looked into it, and what I'm looking at
- 17:26Speaker 4: is grinning back at me.
- 17:26Speaker 8: You haven't looked into it because you don't even understand
- 17:28Speaker 8: what her response to her parents is and how much...
- 17:31Speaker 8: how much she does respond as far as being in
- 17:33Speaker 8: the coma.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Well, wait a second. You say she responds. When I
- 17:37Speaker 4: say to someone, hi, how are you, and they go, yee,
- 17:40Speaker 4: you know, they grunt, I don't call that a response.
- 17:42Speaker 8: Did you read about a woman just the other day
- 17:43Speaker 8: that was like this for 20 years, and now she's
- 17:46Speaker 8: come around again?
- 17:47Speaker 4: Well, I.
- 17:47Speaker 8: This happens all the time.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Wait a second. I think that that's been... You've got
- 17:52Speaker 4: to look deeper into that. That may not have happened.
- 17:54Speaker 2: What do you mean it may not have happened?
- 17:56Speaker 4: They make these stories up in order to keep these
- 17:58Speaker 4: Terry Chavos around... Why not pull the plug on her?
- 18:02Speaker 4: Why don't they have the decency to drape a napkin
- 18:04Speaker 4: over her face? Thank you, Mr. Henry.
- 18:06Speaker 8: I just wish you weren't giving him this so much.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Thank you so much.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Thank you very much, sir.
- 18:10Speaker 4: See, he ran off. He ran out. He ran out
- 18:13Speaker 4: like a scared rat. Because you knew I was making
- 18:16Speaker 4: my point.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Well, you know, the point you're making, sir, is not
- 18:20Speaker 2: one that's very substantial.
- 18:22Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 18:23Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I mean. That guy made a
- 18:25Speaker 2: good point.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Terry Chabot is responsive to parents, and although I agree
- 18:29Speaker 1: with you, he shouldn't be talking about, you know, the husband.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I think the husband, in the Terry Chabot case, I
- 18:36Speaker 4: forget what his name is. I think it's George or
- 18:40Speaker 4: it's either George or Romeo.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Romeo Chabot.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 18:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:48Speaker 4: He has been taking a bedpan with a towel over
- 18:52Speaker 4: his arm. back and forth back and forth and every
- 18:56Speaker 4: time he comes back to the bed to slide the
- 18:59Speaker 4: pan back in there she is staring at him with
- 19:00Speaker 4: a big smile on her face it's almost like when
- 19:04Speaker 4: you were a kid and someone let one go in
- 19:06Speaker 4: the car and he'd be like grinning you know.
- 19:10Speaker 1: You're attributing to a woman in a coma these negative
- 19:16Speaker 1: uh intentions and i don't think you can do that
- 19:18Speaker 1: 1-800-449-8686 greta go ahead you're on the phil henry show
- 19:22Speaker 1: with lloyd bona fide Hi.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Thank you for taking my call.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Yes, ma'am.
- 19:26Speaker 5: This guy is out of his mind. What he doesn't
- 19:29Speaker 5: realize is that is just a normal reaction on the
- 19:32Speaker 5: face of somebody who has had not speech therapy or
- 19:35Speaker 5: any form of therapy. The fact that she can even
- 19:38Speaker 5: still make that smile, it's amazing, okay?
- 19:43Speaker 4: Well, you see, why is she smiling?
- 19:45Speaker 5: Exactly, because I believe she recognizes, you know, she she
- 19:49Speaker 5: has been around people who love her her family and
- 19:52Speaker 5: she must you know you there is a smile coming
- 19:56Speaker 5: on because there's something that she still sees or if
- 20:00Speaker 5: they were to put her into occupational therapy into physical
- 20:03Speaker 5: therapy get her out of that room yes But.
- 20:07Speaker 4: The problem is it also affects guys like me and
- 20:10Speaker 4: others that I know.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Well, just turn off the TV or don't look at it.
- 20:14Speaker 5: It could be you, and somebody could be saying that
- 20:16Speaker 5: about you.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Well, I tell you right now, if I was ever
- 20:19Speaker 4: in a coma, I wouldn't be grinning about it.
- 20:21Speaker 5: You wouldn't know about it.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I'd be hopping mad. You wouldn't know whether you.
- 20:23Speaker 9: Were grinning or not.
- 20:23Speaker 5: It would be the people who were taking care of
- 20:25Speaker 5: you that would know it.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I would be hopping mad if I was in a coma.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Listen, she's not in that type of a coma where
- 20:31Speaker 5: she has no reaction whatsoever.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I think they should pull the plug so that the
- 20:36Speaker 4: husband doesn't have to keep emptying the bedpan.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Boy, I don't know who's the partner in life.
- 20:41Speaker 8: Where are you?
- 20:43Speaker 5: Make sure they know to pull the plug.
- 20:45Speaker 4: My wife knows.
- 20:46Speaker 5: You may not be that lucky.
- 20:47Speaker 4: My wife knows that I will pull the plug on
- 20:49Speaker 4: her if I feel it necessary.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's great. Greta, thank you.
- 20:53Speaker 9: 1-800-449-8686.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Lloyd Bonafide on Terry Chabot. That grin is mocking him.
- 20:59Speaker 1: He thinks they should pull the plug. Phil Hendry Show.
- 21:03Speaker 2: The Phil Hendry Show is back.
- 21:07Speaker 9: 1-800-449-8686.
- 21:08Speaker 2: But I'm not doing an American Idol tryout here.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I understand that, sir, but I discussed it with your producer,
- 21:13Speaker 4: and they said that I could sing the Bruce Springsteen song,
- 21:17Speaker 4: Hungry Heart, at the end of my interview time.
- 21:22Speaker 2: If we have time, sir.
- 21:24Speaker 4: That was not my understanding. My understanding was that I
- 21:27Speaker 4: would be allowed. All right.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I'll try to get to it. But I got phone
- 21:30Speaker 1: calls to get to. And we want to reset for
- 21:32Speaker 1: the audience.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Mr.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Lloyd Bonafide, who is actively in the media, emails to
- 21:37Speaker 1: the media saying we don't want to see Terry Chavo's
- 21:41Speaker 1: smiling face any longer because it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: She's smiling and she's in a coma.
- 21:45Speaker 1: How does it make the rest of us feel who
- 21:47Speaker 1: don't have problems as big and yet we're depressed?
- 21:49Speaker 2: I mean, in other words, what you're saying is you
- 21:51Speaker 2: have sexual dysfunction, correct?
- 21:53Speaker 4: Yes. Not that I want to keep hammering that, but.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but you do.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yes, sir, I do.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And so when she's smiling, you're thinking what?
- 22:02Speaker 4: I think that I'm, you know, what am I complaining about?
- 22:04Speaker 4: She's in a coma, she's smiling, and yet why don't I...
- 22:08Speaker 4: I have the right to complain, but she's telling me, no,
- 22:11Speaker 4: I can't.
- 22:13Speaker 2: She's telling you. See, that's what people are saying. She's
- 22:15Speaker 2: in a coma. She doesn't know.
- 22:17Speaker 4: But the fact that she's smiling sends the message. What's
- 22:23Speaker 4: wrong with just taking a napkin or a bounty towel
- 22:26Speaker 4: and laying it over her face as they do the broadcast?
- 22:29Speaker 4: That's my question. All right, 1-800-449-8686.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Romeo, go ahead.
- 22:34Speaker 6: Yes, Sir Henry, I'd have to say to the gentleman
- 22:37Speaker 6: that called in, This lady that's in a coma, number one,
- 22:41Speaker 6: it's her husband's decision to make a call if he
- 22:43Speaker 6: wants to unplug her or not because of the coma condition.
- 22:46Speaker 6: The smile that she has on her face is not
- 22:49Speaker 6: offensive to anyone in the public. She is not purposely
- 22:52Speaker 6: laughing at this gentleman or anybody else that's in the
- 22:54Speaker 6: public eye here or on the street.
- 22:56Speaker 4: You don't feel she's mocking you? Pardon? You don't feel,
- 23:00Speaker 4: this is Mr. Bonafide, you don't feel that she's mocking
- 23:02Speaker 4: you in any way?
- 23:03Speaker 6: Of course not.
- 23:04Speaker 7: Of course not.
- 23:04Speaker 6: Actually, I feel very sad for this lady. But I
- 23:07Speaker 6: also sense that this lady may have a sense of
- 23:10Speaker 6: peace within her, and this smile may be to reflect
- 23:12Speaker 6: to her family that she's at peace with herself and
- 23:16Speaker 6: that this is a state of mind that she's in.
- 23:18Speaker 6: The only people that can call that, as far as
- 23:20Speaker 6: I'm concerned, is that, you know, you seem to be
- 23:23Speaker 6: making a call or a decision that would be based
- 23:25Speaker 6: only by myself. My opinion is God. Who are we
- 23:29Speaker 6: to tell this family that they have to put a...
- 23:32Speaker 6: a cloth over this lady's face because she has a smile.
- 23:35Speaker 4: No, I'm just saying when the news media is around,
- 23:37Speaker 4: have the common courtesy to drape a towel over it.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Jesus, man.
- 23:41Speaker 6: There's no need to it. There's no need for it.
- 23:44Speaker 6: This lady's not mocking you, sir. She's not doing anything
- 23:46Speaker 6: to offend you. I mean, if you're that insensitive to
- 23:49Speaker 6: this whole thing, why don't you watch the newscast?
- 23:52Speaker 4: Well, sir, I would add, doesn't, when she drools a
- 23:54Speaker 4: little bit, that doesn't chap your hide.
- 23:57Speaker 10: When she what?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Drools.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Have you ever seen handicapped people that drool? I mean,
- 24:03Speaker 6: do you turn negative on people that are handicapped?
- 24:05Speaker 4: Well, sir, I'm a Korean War veteran. I saw enough
- 24:08Speaker 4: guys in crutches at the VA to last me a lifetime.
- 24:11Speaker 6: Oh, sir, and I've got friends that were in World
- 24:14Speaker 6: War II. And I'll tell you what, you know, if
- 24:18Speaker 6: you've been in the military, sir, then I'm sure if
- 24:20Speaker 6: you realize that you've probably seen dying men with smiles.
- 24:23Speaker 10: On their face.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Yeah, the last Chinaman I killed had a big smile
- 24:28Speaker 4: on his face.
- 24:28Speaker 6: All right.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Look, all I'm trying to say is God bless her.
- 24:33Speaker 4: I hope she has a wonderful life. But, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 4: that grin. What about the husband? This guy's paying hospital
- 24:42Speaker 4: bills out of his rear end, and she's grinning about it.
- 24:46Speaker 6: That's for the husband to decide, sir, not for anybody
- 24:48Speaker 6: in the public eye.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 24:50Speaker 2: All right, Romeo, thank you for your call, sir. Good points.
- 24:53Speaker 4: 1-800-449-8686. Can I interrupt, Mr.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Henry?
- 24:55Speaker 7: Yes.
- 24:55Speaker 4: You say good point to him. What about me? Have
- 24:59Speaker 4: I not made a good point?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Your points that you're making are ones that I can't
- 25:04Speaker 1: even begin to agree with. I don't agree that she's
- 25:06Speaker 1: mocking you.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I didn't say on purpose for G.D. 's sake. I
- 25:12Speaker 4: said it's the sense that you get.
- 25:15Speaker 2: That you get, not a lot of other people get.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Let's go over to Terry. Hi, Terry, you're on the
- 25:20Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show.
- 25:21Speaker 9: Hi, thank you for taking my call.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.
- 25:24Speaker 9: I just personally, the guy that was on there, I
- 25:27Speaker 9: don't even know if he's still there.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Yes, my name is Mr.
- 25:30Speaker 7: Bonafide.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 25:31Speaker 8: I'm sorry.
- 25:32Speaker 6: That was rude.
- 25:32Speaker 8: Are you married?
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yes, I most certainly am. I'll be married 37 years
- 25:37Speaker 4: to Gladys next August.
- 25:40Speaker 9: 37 years. So if your wife was in a coma
- 25:42Speaker 9: and she was smiling, you would want to put a towel.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Over her face?
- 25:46Speaker 4: Well, first of all, I'd want to know what she's
- 25:48Speaker 4: smiling about. You're in a coma and you're smiling? What's
- 25:51Speaker 4: that about?
- 25:52Speaker 6: Did you ever think.
- 25:53Speaker 9: That maybe this person was talking to angels up above?
- 25:56Speaker 9: Did you ever think that they were thanking God that
- 25:58Speaker 9: they were still around?
- 25:59Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 25:59Speaker 9: Did you ever think for a second that in the
- 26:01Speaker 9: Bible it says, and when you marry somebody first.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Wait a minute. Ma'am, let's stay on the planet Earth
- 26:06Speaker 4: here for just a second, if you don't mind.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Don, I am on planet Earth, but see, the point is.
- 26:11Speaker 4: You're talking to angels.
- 26:13Speaker 1: When you.
- 26:13Speaker 9: Marry somebody, it's for better or for worse through sickness
- 26:16Speaker 9: and health. So in other words, when your wife is sick,
- 26:18Speaker 9: you're going to put a towel over her face because
- 26:20Speaker 9: she's slobbering? What about if she gets Parkinson's disease? Are
- 26:24Speaker 9: you going to put a two-by-four next to her head
- 26:25Speaker 9: so it don't shake anymore?
- 26:27Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 26:28Speaker 8: No, I wouldn't.
- 26:29Speaker 4: No, dear, but I'll tell you this. If my wife
- 26:31Speaker 4: had Parkinson's, I'm certainly not going to wheel her through
- 26:34Speaker 4: a china shop so she can destroy every precious item
- 26:38Speaker 4: in there.
- 26:39Speaker 9: I think that you're selfish and you're being insensitive, and
- 26:42Speaker 9: I think that makes you less of a man.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I mean, that's my personal opinion. Okay, that was dirty pool.
- 26:47Speaker 4: You know I've got a dysfunction problem, and you're coming...
- 26:49Speaker 4: That's dirty pool.
- 26:51Speaker 10: That's dirty pool?
- 26:52Speaker 4: Yes, ma'am. I've got a sexual dysfunction problem. You said
- 26:54Speaker 4: I'm less of a man.
- 26:56Speaker 9: Well, I'm sorry you have a sexual problem. Maybe you
- 26:58Speaker 9: should say, hey, how about your wife puts a towel
- 27:00Speaker 9: over your lap for that?
- 27:03Speaker 4: Holy Jesus.
- 27:05Speaker 2: No, that's very good, Terry. I'm glad she said that.
- 27:09Speaker 9: When somebody is in a coma and they're smiling, I
- 27:12Speaker 9: would thank God and the heavens and the earth that
- 27:14Speaker 9: this person is still with us. And thank God that
- 27:17Speaker 9: the doctors that are on this earth can keep the
- 27:19Speaker 9: people alive and bring them back.
- 27:22Speaker 4: So in other words, somebody ought to put a towel
- 27:24Speaker 4: over my lap. That's the, that's where, that's why.
- 27:27Speaker 9: Well, I mean, you're saying just because somebody in a coma,
- 27:30Speaker 9: if they're smiling, put a towel over their face, if
- 27:32Speaker 9: you don't like it, don't look.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Well, look, are you, because they bring, nobody's bringing bisexual
- 27:37Speaker 4: dysfunction into your home every night, unless, of course, you
- 27:40Speaker 4: want it, Savvy. And I'm saying.
- 27:42Speaker 2: All right, man. All right, look, Terry, thank you very much.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 27:48Speaker 4: This talk about angels scares me.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Well, maybe you should pay more attention to it.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Can you prove there's angels? I don't think so.
- 27:57Speaker 9: I know there's angels, darling, because we're all here.
- 27:59Speaker 8: Aren't we?
- 28:02Speaker 4: Yeah, what's that got to do with angels? Holy God.
- 28:04Speaker 2: All right, Terry, thank you for your call. I think
- 28:08Speaker 2: she's a very religious person.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's great.
- 28:12Speaker 6: Mr.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Bonafide, you lived through war. You lived through a whole life.
- 28:15Speaker 1: You don't have a spiritual sense?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Mr. Henry... I have always lived by my fists, by
- 28:24Speaker 4: my military issue M-16 that I still keep in my closet,
- 28:29Speaker 4: by a skinning knife that I keep taped with electric
- 28:32Speaker 4: tape to my boot at all times, and by the
- 28:36Speaker 4: fact that when someone is laying in a hospital room
- 28:40Speaker 4: in a deep, dark, sinking coma and they're grinning like
- 28:44Speaker 4: a Cheshire cat back at me, well, let me tell
- 28:47Speaker 4: you what. Somebody's got a turd in their pocket.
- 28:51Speaker 2: And I will tell you, I think that you're a
- 28:53Speaker 2: bitter guy.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Oh, there we go. It's all about me, huh?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about you. You called up with this idiotic
- 28:59Speaker 2: cockamamie story. Yes, it's about you.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I don't want to speak to the host any longer.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Is there someone else there I can speak to?
- 29:07Speaker 2: No, you've got to talk to me.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Well, I want to sing my song.
- 29:11Speaker 7: All right.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Do we have to break? Okay. Let me take one
- 29:14Speaker 2: more phone call then, and then we'll break. All right,
- 29:16Speaker 2: it's Chris. Go ahead, Chris.
- 29:19Speaker 10: Hey, how's it going, Phil?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Listen, Mr.
- 29:22Speaker 10: Bonafide, I don't know how often you're watching the news
- 29:28Speaker 10: or not, but apparently you haven't been paying too much
- 29:32Speaker 10: attention to it because, you see, the husband of Mrs.
- 29:37Speaker 10: Chavo hasn't even had... anything to do with her since
- 29:41Speaker 10: she's been in this state.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Yeah, after he came and changed the bedpan.
- 29:46Speaker 10: Oh, good God. Listen to you, man. You are so.
- 29:49Speaker 4: No, sir. I've seen... You know something?
- 29:52Speaker 10: You know, Mr. Bonafide, I believe you are starting to
- 29:55Speaker 10: go through dementia.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Not just... Oh, sure. Go ahead. Knock my mental... Because
- 29:59Speaker 4: I don't agree with you. Call me insane. There you go.
- 30:01Speaker 4: That's a great argument.
- 30:03Speaker 10: You just are not... You're not listening to.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Any kind of reason.
- 30:08Speaker 10: That anybody is trying to say to you, Mr.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Bonafide. After he came out of bedpan and he saw
- 30:13Speaker 4: her grinning back at him, of course he left.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Okay, all right. All right, look it. Chris, thank you
- 30:18Speaker 2: for your call. I've got a break here.
- 30:20Speaker 4: What's everyone laughing? Are you laughing at me? Oh, man,
- 30:22Speaker 4: don't laugh at me. Don't laugh at me. Never eyeball
- 30:26Speaker 4: a junkyard dog.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Hold on. The Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show
- 30:33Speaker 2: is back.
- 30:33Speaker 6: 1-800-449-8686.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You can sing Hungry Heart.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I've got to take another call here. Chris, go ahead.
- 30:40Speaker 1: You're on the Phil Henry Show with Lode Bonafide about
- 30:42Speaker 1: the Terry Chaveau issue.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 30:44Speaker 7: Yeah, you there?
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yes, sir, right here.
- 30:46Speaker 7: Yeah. I want to ask Mr. Bonaparte, do you believe
- 30:48Speaker 7: in God?
- 30:50Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I can't hear you, sir.
- 30:51Speaker 7: I said, do you believe in God?
- 30:53Speaker 4: I don't know. What do you mean by that?
- 30:55Speaker 7: That's what I ask you. Do you believe in God?
- 30:59Speaker 7: Or do you even know who God is?
- 31:01Speaker 4: Do I know who God is?
- 31:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 4: I'm not familiar.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Well, you know the concept of God.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Yes, sir. Yes, I do.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Okay.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Okay. Do you believe that he exists?
- 31:11Speaker 4: Well, I don't know rightfully how you can know that.
- 31:14Speaker 4: How do you know that?
- 31:15Speaker 7: Read your Bible. That's how you know it.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Well, that's just one guy's opinion.
- 31:20Speaker 7: No, that's God's word, brother.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Well, it says who?
- 31:24Speaker 7: It says God.
- 31:26Speaker 4: See, there you go again. Now we're doing that circular logic.
- 31:30Speaker 7: No, it's my logic. It's the word of God.
- 31:31Speaker 4: You don't know that he exists.
- 31:33Speaker 7: Yes, I do.
- 31:34Speaker 4: How do you know?
- 31:36Speaker 7: Because I talk to him about it every day.
- 31:38Speaker 4: And you call me nuts, Mr. Hendricks. You got a
- 31:42Speaker 4: guy like this on your phone?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Look, the man prays, okay?
- 31:45Speaker 7: All right.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Let me ask you something else. And I say have
- 31:48Speaker 4: the decency to put a napkin over Terry Chabot's face,
- 31:50Speaker 4: and I'm a bad guy, and this guy's talking to fairies.
- 31:55Speaker 7: God is not a fairy, brother.
- 31:56Speaker 4: All right, look, if you talk to God, what's he
- 31:58Speaker 4: sound like? Yeah.
- 32:01Speaker 7: If you talk to him, you'd know.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Gotcha.
- 32:03Speaker 7: No, you didn't get me.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I got you, because you can't tell me what he's...
- 32:06Speaker 4: All right, what's he look like?
- 32:08Speaker 7: I don't know. I haven't seen God yet.
- 32:11Speaker 4: But you've talked to him.
- 32:12Speaker 7: You better believe it.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Okay, what's he sound like?
- 32:16Speaker 7: He sounds just like me and you.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Then he sounds like a couple of jackasses.
- 32:21Speaker 7: No.
- 32:23Speaker 2: What is that supposed to mean?
- 32:24Speaker 4: He said he sounds like the two of us. That
- 32:25Speaker 4: means he sounds like two jackballs.
- 32:28Speaker 7: Well, excuse me, but I'm not a jackball. Well, I am.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Everybody in the United States and all over knows that
- 32:35Speaker 7: by now.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Does he carry lightning bolts in his hands, or is
- 32:37Speaker 4: that just a rumor? A rumor.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Okay, quit with your smart-ass comments and just listen to
- 32:43Speaker 1: what the man has to say.
- 32:45Speaker 7: When it's your time... Let me say something here. Yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 7: go ahead. When it's your time to go, you'll go.
- 32:51Speaker 7: There won't be no life support save you or anything else.
- 32:54Speaker 7: When it's your time to leave this earth, you're going
- 32:56Speaker 7: to go. And it's not that woman's time yet.
- 33:00Speaker 4: We don't know that. All we know is she's grinning
- 33:03Speaker 4: from ear to ear. Like she just hit the Irish sweepstakes.
- 33:06Speaker 7: She's not grinning. That's her muscles... the way they contracted
- 33:10Speaker 7: when her brain was starved to death from oxygen.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Into a smile? Holy jeez. Well, look, you know what?
- 33:20Speaker 4: You sound like a nice guy, Chris, but if God
- 33:23Speaker 4: sounds like you, I think my phone is busy, if
- 33:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean. Now then, I'd like to get.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Don't blow him off. He's my caller.
- 33:31Speaker 4: I want to get the second hungry heart for Jesus
- 33:34Speaker 4: and a car seat's sake.
- 33:36Speaker 7: But I'm telling you, if it was that.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Hey, Chris, I want to ask you a question. Do
- 33:39Speaker 4: you think if Jesus and Mary lived today that she'd
- 33:41Speaker 4: have him in a car seat? Seriously, I mean, it's
- 33:46Speaker 4: a good question. If Mary and Jesus were alive today,
- 33:49Speaker 4: would she have him in a car seat? Yes or no?
- 33:52Speaker 2: What kind of a question is that?
- 33:54Speaker 4: I'm just curious. Do you think she'd carry him around
- 33:58Speaker 4: in a supermarket basket?
- 34:00Speaker 10: No.
- 34:01Speaker 4: And then she'd wonder, where is he? And she'd find
- 34:03Speaker 4: him sitting there talking to the guy that runs the
- 34:04Speaker 4: meat market on how to better organize his steaks and stuff.
- 34:07Speaker 7: No, he'd be in church praying to his father is
- 34:10Speaker 7: where he'd be.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Well, yeah, but once he got into the van with Mary,
- 34:14Speaker 4: he'd be in a car seat. Or are you telling
- 34:16Speaker 4: me they'd walk everywhere?
- 34:19Speaker 7: They'd probably walk everywhere.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Okay, now I... Mr. Henry, I want to sing Hungry Heart.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Well, what's wrong with that?
- 34:25Speaker 4: He's nuts. How do you live in America and not
- 34:27Speaker 4: have a car?
- 34:29Speaker 2: Okay, look it, Chris, thank you for calling it.
- 34:32Speaker 4: I want to know, would Mary drive a van, yes
- 34:34Speaker 4: or no?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Don't answer his questions, Chris.
- 34:36Speaker 7: I'm not.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Would Mary carry Jesus in a baby Bjorn?
- 34:40Speaker 7: Can I say something here, Phil?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Please.
- 34:45Speaker 7: Mr. Bonafide?
- 34:46Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 34:48Speaker 7: All I'm asking you, you need to get God in
- 34:50Speaker 7: your life, brother. Are you the same one?
- 34:52Speaker 4: So this is what it's about. I need to get
- 34:54Speaker 4: God in my life. Why didn't you just spit it
- 34:56Speaker 4: out then?
- 34:58Speaker 7: And another thing, can I ask one more question?
- 34:59Speaker 4: Yeah, go right ahead.
- 35:00Speaker 7: Are you the one that chased the woman with your RV?
- 35:03Speaker 4: Yes, I am.
- 35:05Speaker 7: Would you have still grabbed that woman by the collar
- 35:07Speaker 7: if her husband would have been sitting in the car? No,
- 35:10Speaker 7: you wouldn't.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Yes, I would have.
- 35:13Speaker 2: All right, look, I've got to break, Chris.
- 35:15Speaker 6: All right.
- 35:16Speaker 4: I don't know what he's talking about.
- 35:17Speaker 7: He's nuts.
- 35:17Speaker 2: All right, thanks, Chris.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Yes, sir. Yeah, that's right. Married walk everywhere. What a.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Get out of here. All right, you can sing your
- 35:25Speaker 2: stupid song when we come back if I ever find
- 35:27Speaker 2: the CD. Oh, here it is. All right, we'll be
- 35:28Speaker 2: right back. Phil Henry Show. 1-800-449-8686.
- 35:33Speaker 8: The Phil Henry Show is back.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Sing your song, man, okay?
- 35:38Speaker 4: I'm going to be trying out for American Idol here.
- 35:41Speaker 4: It'll be coming up here. And this is a song
- 35:46Speaker 4: that means a lot to me because, oh, God. I
- 35:52Speaker 4: wish I was Bruce Springsteen. Got a wife and kids
- 35:55Speaker 4: in Baltimore, Jack. I went out for a ride and
- 36:00Speaker 4: never went back. Like a river that don't know where
- 36:05Speaker 4: it's going, I.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Took a wrong turn and I just kept going. Everybody's
- 36:12Speaker 3: got a hungry heart. Everybody's got a heart.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Hungry heart.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Pay down your money and you play your... How do
- 36:22Speaker 4: they spell it?
- 36:23Speaker 1: Heart.
- 36:23Speaker 2: H-E-A-R-T.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Everybody's got a hungry heart. By the way, the Phil
- 36:29Speaker 4: Henry program, thanks myself, Lloyd Bonafide, David G. Hall, Margaret Gray, Dr.
- 36:36Speaker 4: William Pollard, Dave Oliver, Harvey Weirman, and of course me,
