- 0:26Hi everyone, welcome to Mini Scroll, the daily Internet
- 0:31culture podcast bringing you the biggest stories from social
- 0:34media, the creator economy and the digital space.
- 0:37Every Monday through Thursday and sometimes Fridays.
- 0:40I'm your host, Lauren Meisner, the founder of the youth digital
- 0:43media brand Centennial World. Welcome back to mini scroll
- 0:48everyone. OK, before I get into the
- 0:50stories today, 2 updates. The first one is Annabelle has a
- 0:55close friends story that she needs you guys to comment on to
- 0:58be included in the newsletter. So reminder, close friends is
- 1:01one of our newsletter additions where Annabelle picks a piece of
- 1:04content. Sometimes it's a TikTok, an
- 1:07article, a topic, whatever, and she asks for your opinions on
- 1:11it. And your insight and opinions
- 1:13and comments may be included in the newsletter as part of our
- 1:16piece. So this week she's going to be
- 1:18reporting on Sora. So I have a link down below in
- 1:21the description box if you want to read the article that she's
- 1:23going to be basically like pulling from.
- 1:25But in general, would love to hear your thoughts on Sora on
- 1:29like AI generated content, all of that kind of stuff.
- 1:33Leave YouTube comments, leave Spotify comments and you could
- 1:36be included. Annabelle runs Centennial world
- 1:38like a Navy ship. Like she keeps me in line.
- 1:41It's actually not Centennial world.
- 1:42It's Annabelle's world and I'm literally just living in it.
- 1:45She's always like, you have to ask them to comment on this.
- 1:47You have to remember to post the sponsored content.
- 1:49You have to remember to do XYZ. I'm like, Oh my God.
- 1:51OK girl. So I'm very glad that I
- 1:53remembered to ask you guys to comment on that for close
- 1:55friends. OK, the next update that I have
- 1:57for you guys, this is so random, But tomorrow our entire office
- 2:02is actually closed on like a random Tuesday because they're
- 2:06doing some type of like major electrical road work going on
- 2:10like around the whole neighborhood, I guess like the
- 2:12whole block. So there will be no electricity
- 2:14from like 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM tomorrow.
- 2:16So we can't come into the office.
- 2:17So there will be no mini school tomorrow, but I will do a mini
- 2:20scroll on Wednesday. So Wednesday you'll have mini
- 2:23tech with Annabelle and you'll also have a regular mini scroll
- 2:25with me. Please remember to rate, review
- 2:27and subscribe. Annabelle also hates when I
- 2:29forget to ask you guys to do that.
- 2:31We're trying to get to 1000 Spotify star rating meetings by
- 2:33the end of this year. All right, let's get into the
- 2:36stories for today. The first story that I have for
- 2:38you guys, this is everywhere, at least all over my for you page.
- 2:43But I'm sure some of you guys have seen it too.
- 2:45A Doordasher has taken to TikTok to accuse the customer of sexual
- 2:50assault and the entire story has blown up and she has seemingly
- 2:53lost her job over it. So social media creator Livy
- 2:57Rose Henderson, known on TikTok as IRL Monster High Doll, has
- 3:01accused DoorDash of deactivating creating her account just days
- 3:04after she reported being sexually assaulted while on the
- 3:07job. Livi was the delivery driver
- 3:09based in New York, and she said the incident took place on
- 3:12October 12th after she arrived at a customer's home to drop off
- 3:16an order. The details of the order drop
- 3:18off are kind of confusing because she has removed at least
- 3:22the initial video, like the very first video she posted and
- 3:26presumably some other videos as well.
- 3:28There's a lot of hearsay going on which I think actually has
- 3:30contributed to the mass amount of information which I will get
- 3:34to around this whole story. But essentially many people
- 3:37online claim that in her original video, she said that
- 3:40the customer requested the order be left at the door, but when
- 3:43she arrived, the door was cracked open and she proceeded
- 3:46to enter the property. Now when I say that the door was
- 3:50cracked open, that is the hearsay that I am referring to.
- 3:54Like people are saying that she said the door was cracked open,
- 3:58but that original video was deleted.
- 4:00There have now been some repost of that original video that have
- 4:04been uploaded just in the past 24 hours.
- 4:06But it's really hard to know with reposts.
- 4:09Like I don't want to say, yeah, this is the full video because
- 4:11we have no idea. Somebody could have fully
- 4:13clipped it for like when it's conveniently fitting their
- 4:16narrative. But there are clips going around
- 4:18of like the quote UN quote first video.
- 4:20And I will say in those clips, it looks like the door is wide
- 4:23open. It is not cracked.
- 4:24Regardless, what ended up happening is she went into the
- 4:27home and she found the customer seemingly passed out on his
- 4:31couch with his pants and underwear fully down exposed to
- 4:36her. So this is what the text
- 4:37allegedly read. A man named Austin orders
- 4:40DoorDash, selects the option to have order left at door, sees
- 4:44his DoorDash or me has a female name quote UN quote, falls
- 4:47asleep on the couch with his pants and underwear to his
- 4:50ankles and his front door wide open in 59°F.
- 4:54So this is what I see when I have to leave the order.
- 4:56And when I say this is what I see when I have to leave the
- 4:59order, it is her filming herself going up to, you know, his door,
- 5:04seeing him filming him like quote UN quote sleeping and
- 5:09naked basically from the waist down and then walking away.
- 5:12So she filmed him and she uploaded that to TikTok after
- 5:16she reported the incident to DoorDash.
- 5:18She says 2 days later, DoorDash suddenly deactivated her account
- 5:21with no explanation. She claims she never received
- 5:24the standard deactivation e-mail, which typically includes
- 5:27a reason for termination and a link to appeal.
- 5:29She did appeal. It was denied.
- 5:31Three days ago, October 12th, 2025, I was a victim of SA by a
- 5:35DoorDash customer while I was doing my job as a DoorDash
- 5:37driver. So on October 12th, 2025, the
- 5:40DoorDash customer requested that their order be left at their
- 5:42front door. When I arrived at their front
- 5:44door, their front door was wide open, their lights were on, they
- 5:48were sleeping on the couch with an eyesight of the front door
- 5:51with their pants and underwear pulled down to their ankles, and
- 5:53they were indecently exposed to me.
- 5:55But yeah, I reported it to DoorDash and DoorDash did ban
- 5:58the customer. And then two days later,
- 6:00DoorDash banned me. DoorDash punished me for
- 6:02exposing my assaulter, and TikTok is currently punishing me
- 6:06for exposing my story time. And this is the only justice I'm
- 6:09getting because I also reported this to the police and the
- 6:11police are doing nothing. According to her, the responding
- 6:14officer questioned whether criminal charges could be filed
- 6:16since the customer was inside his own home.
- 6:18Livi argued that the ACT qualified as exhibition, noting
- 6:22the potential impact on neighbors and passer bys.
- 6:25Now there are rumors floating around online.
- 6:27Like I said, there is so much hearsay.
- 6:29I think one of the biggest problems with this story is
- 6:33people are like making things up based on what they want to fit
- 6:38their narrative. People are saying it with their
- 6:39full chest as if like these are facts, but we actually don't
- 6:43know. Like there's a lot of facts that
- 6:44we as the viewers don't know. One of the things going around
- 6:48is like a conspiracy theory online is that the man, Austin,
- 6:52has posted Ring camera footage that proves that the door was
- 6:56unlocked but not open and that she opened it.
- 6:58I have not been able to find that Ring footage.
- 7:01If you look at any of the comments sections, people
- 7:03talking about this, everyone's like, where's the Ring camera
- 7:06footage then? Like, where is it?
- 7:07If you say you've seen it, where is it?
- 7:09Show it to me. Now.
- 7:10DoorDash has responded to the whole situation, they wrote on
- 7:13Tiktok. We've seen some tough and
- 7:15sensitive posts over the past few days and we want to clear
- 7:17the air. No one should ever have to
- 7:19experience sexual assault, harassment, or abuse, and
- 7:22DoorDash never deactivate someone for reporting it.
- 7:24Full stop. We take these reports incredibly
- 7:27seriously and work closely with law enforcement to investigate
- 7:30and support those affected. In this case, the Dasher let us
- 7:33know about an experience that made them feel unsafe, and
- 7:36that's exactly what we always want Dasher's to do.
- 7:38Our team immediately began investigating and has been in
- 7:41direct contact with law enforcement and is prepared to
- 7:43fully support any of their efforts.
- 7:45However, posting a video of a customer in their home and
- 7:48disclosing their personal details publicly is a clear
- 7:52violation of our policies. That is the sole reason that
- 7:55this dasher's account was deactivated along with the
- 7:58customers while we investigated. We've also ensured that the
- 8:01Dasher has full access to their earnings.
- 8:04We know these are sensitive situations and we want every
- 8:07Dasher to know if you ever feel unsafe or experience something
- 8:10concerning, come to us. We're here to listen, act and
- 8:13support. So yes, that is a very high
- 8:15level breakdown. Like I said, this is something
- 8:17that is truly dividing people. But I think the biggest issue
- 8:22that I see here is that people are just like making up straight
- 8:25up lies about Livy, about the customer, about the scenario,
- 8:28and people are making up these lies to suit the narrative that
- 8:31they want to be true. But yeah, that is the the
- 8:34lowdown for now. OK, the next word that I have
- 8:36for you guys, Selena Gomez versus Hailey Bieber again.
- 8:43So last week, the Wall Street Journal published a profile on
- 8:46Hailey Bieber, and the interview was apparently conducted ahead
- 8:49of her Rd. Beauty launch into Sephora.
- 8:51So the journalist asked Hailey about comparisons between Road
- 8:55and Selena Gomez's brand Rare Beauty, which has been available
- 8:59at Sephora for a lot longer. She said, quote, it's always
- 9:02annoying being pitted against other people.
- 9:04I didn't ask for that. When people want to see you a
- 9:06certain way and they've made-up a story about you in their
- 9:08minds, it's not up to you to change that.
- 9:10I think there is space for everybody.
- 9:12I don't feel competitive with people that I'm not inspired by.
- 9:16OK, So some people took that, like I don't feel competitive
- 9:19with people who I'm not inspired by as a dig to Selena.
- 9:23So Selena apparently heard this, saw this, and she posted on her
- 9:27Instagram stories and then very quickly deleted this.
- 9:31Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants.
- 9:34Doesn't affect my life whatsoever.
- 9:36It's just about relevance and intelligence.
- 9:39Be kind. All brands inspire me.
- 9:42There is room for everyone and hopefully we can all stop.
- 9:45So I think that's Selena talking to the media, but also to her
- 9:48fans, you know, because people were like pretty up in arms when
- 9:51that statement came out from Haley, as I'm sure Selena's fans
- 9:54were going nuts. And so she's basically saying
- 9:56like, just leave her alone. Like whatever, she can say what
- 9:58she wants. I don't know, saying it's just
- 10:00about relevance not intelligence is a bit shady too.
- 10:04But then I guess you could say Haley's statement was shady.
- 10:06Anyways, all of this is like kind of insane because like why
- 10:12the fuck did the journalist ask Haley that?
- 10:16I know that asking Haley and Selena about each other is like
- 10:20buzzy for pop culture. I get that it is going to get
- 10:23you eyeballs. I mean this profile now has so
- 10:26much more earned media because they asked her that and because
- 10:29she made a statement like that. But the fact that we are so
- 10:32focused still on this like, quote, UN quote, feud between
- 10:35these two women in the public eye, it's so archaic.
- 10:39It's so sad. Like Haley had so many other
- 10:41things to talk about in that profile and they did.
- 10:43But you know, like so many other, like, amazing,
- 10:45interesting things to talk about in that profile.
- 10:48I fear we are getting to like Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston
- 10:52territory with these two women where they are going to be
- 10:56LinkedIn, the media as feuding for like literally decades to
- 11:00come. It's so stupid.
- 11:02They're both married now, like Selena just got married to
- 11:05someone else. And I agree that they both kind
- 11:08of fan these flames a bit, but like, we just need to like let
- 11:11it go. Everybody just needs to fucking
- 11:13let it go. Come on, let it go.
- 11:15Haley has a baby. Like what is going on?
- 11:17I can't. Okay.
- 11:18The last story that I have for you guys, I promise Wednesdays
- 11:21will be a good episode. There were a lot of stories that
- 11:24we had to choose between. So I promise I will have like
- 11:27some good meaty stories for you for Wednesday.
- 11:30But I wanted to touch on this story because I've never talked
- 11:33about this creator before. And again, this has been
- 11:36everywhere this weekend. So Wendy Ortiz has been facing
- 11:39backlash for like invading Kourtney Kardashian and Travis
- 11:43Barker's privacy by filming the inside of their home and posting
- 11:47it online. So Wendy is an influencer and a
- 11:49popular Twitch streamer who has basically been labeled as a
- 11:53Kylie Jenner Stan over these past few months.
- 11:56Back in May, Wendy said on stream that her dream collab
- 11:59would be with Kylie Jenner and ever since then Wendy's
- 12:01followers who are called Winions.
- 12:03Which is like so cute. I love that fandom name have
- 12:07been spamming the comments section of like every Kylie
- 12:10Jenner post telling her to collab with Wendy.
- 12:13So Wendy has a really big following like she has stands
- 12:16like I said, like she is very popular.
- 12:18So this weekend Kylie celebrated the King Kylie collection
- 12:21revival. As we know, she had a big party
- 12:24and Alabama Barker, daughter of Travis Barker, stepdaughter of
- 12:27Kourtney Kardashian, and then I guess like step niece of Kylie
- 12:31Jenner, Alabama and Wendy went to this together.
- 12:35It's unclear if Wendy was invited on her own or as
- 12:38Alabama's plus one. But Wendy did post back in June
- 12:41that she got like a mysterious text that left her speechless
- 12:45while she was on the stream. And everyone thought, at least
- 12:46at the time that it was Kylie Jenner or someone from Kylie's
- 12:49team texting her. So it could have been an invite
- 12:51to this party. You know what?
- 12:52I take that back because there is no way as somebody who goes
- 12:55to brand events all the time, there is no way that you are
- 12:58getting invited to an event in June that is happening in
- 13:01October. So you know what, never mind.
- 13:03Wendy got ready for Kylie's party at Alabama's house, AKA
- 13:06Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Parker's house.
- 13:09And she brought like her whole team.
- 13:11She brought like an entourage of people and they were like
- 13:13filming content all over Kourtney's house talking about
- 13:17how rich she is, showing viewers like all of these different
- 13:20aspects to their home, these like different niches, their
- 13:23artwork, like showing it off. And like, yes, Kourtney
- 13:25Kardashian's home is on the Kardashians, but we don't know
- 13:28as viewers like how much of their homes they're showing.
- 13:31I'm I'm sure there's tons of rooms that we've never seen that
- 13:33they keep for themselves like private.
- 13:35What is this, a biocharger? Wow what they doing in here?
- 13:43They are. These books are worth like
- 13:44$40,000. Careful.
- 13:47And the home is the backdrop of the show, right?
- 13:50They're not going around being like, look at how expensive this
- 13:52art is. And people in the comments
- 13:54section of these videos, I think it was alive, but they're like
- 13:57reposted on TikTok are like, guys, this is so inappropriate.
- 14:00This is such an invasion of privacy.
- 14:02This is so dangerous. We know that wealthy people and
- 14:04I'm sure the Kardashians are big targets.
- 14:07And yeah, like, regardless of how you feel about the
- 14:10Kardashians and them hoarding wealth and all of that, this is
- 14:13just like inappropriate and not OK.
- 14:15And then the other camp of people we're like showing an
- 14:18overwhelming amount of love for Alabama for helping Wendy kind
- 14:22of like make this dream come true, helping calm her nerves
- 14:25before meeting Kylie. Like her interactions with Wendy
- 14:28leading up to Kylie, it was like they were very cute.
- 14:32I did see some comments being like what in the Make A Wish
- 14:34Foundation is going on right now, how Alabama was like acting
- 14:38with Wendy about meeting Kylie Jenner.
- 14:41But I thought it was cute. Like if Kylie is her biggest
- 14:44inspo or her like biggest A list star that she'd be excited to
- 14:47me. I totally get being super
- 14:49nervous. And I think it's endearing.
- 14:51I don't know anything about Wendy.
- 14:52OK, if she's super problematic, I apologize.
- 14:54But I think it's really endearing when you see somebody
- 14:58who, you know, is probably interacting with like famous
- 15:01people all the time to an extent, right?
- 15:03Like, she's quite famous herself in her own niche of like, the
- 15:06Internet, Wendy. I mean, and so, yeah, it's
- 15:09really endearing when you see somebody like that who you feel
- 15:11like has so much more privilege, so much more access to these
- 15:15people and that lifestyle Be really star truck.
- 15:17That's kind of cool. What's not cool is the weird
- 15:20live stream filming the inside of Courtney and Travis's house.
- 15:24That feels definitely like an invasion of privacy.
- 15:27And I do not like that it's really inappropriate to post
- 15:29everything on the Internet and it's really damaging.
- 15:32All right, guys, Well, that's it for Mini SCROLL today.
- 15:34Thank you so much for listening. I love you guys.
- 15:36Please remember to rate, review and subscribe.
- 15:39I will not talk to you tomorrow because our office is closed,
- 15:42but I will talk to you on Wednesday and so will Annabelle.
- 15:44OK, bye.
