- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice for sure.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's time.
- 0:14Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no. Welcome to the Naughty
- 0:18Speaker 1: but Nicia. I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it is Tuesday,
- 0:20Speaker 1: which means a dear friend. Lady Dixon joins us. Hey, mister,
- 0:25Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:26Speaker 2: I am happy two hundred and fiftieth.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I know it was a couple of days ago, but
- 0:31Speaker 3: I just wanted to wish everybody a happy two hundred
- 0:33Speaker 3: and fiftieth to.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You look marvelous two hundred fifty Absolutely, Okay, let's jump
- 0:40Speaker 1: into the show. What time is it, my friends? And
- 0:42Speaker 1: is it's tea time? Big, big story out of London.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So King Charles has revoked Prince Harry's offer to stay
- 0:50Speaker 1: at Buckingham Palace. There was an invitation for him to
- 0:52Speaker 1: stay there, but he's not staying there anymore, so Harry
- 0:55Speaker 1: rocks up. Now as we're speaking, Harry will be arriving
- 0:58Speaker 1: in London. In fact, I'm top he actually arrived late yesterday.
- 1:02Speaker 1: If you remember, the King and Buckingham Palace put out
- 1:06Speaker 1: an offer, an invitation that Harry, Meghan and the children
- 1:10Speaker 1: they were all going to go. Originally that has not
- 1:13Speaker 1: happened now, but the whole family was going to go.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Harry had some concerns about security, and so what the
- 1:19Speaker 1: King thought, very very wise and very generous, was why
- 1:23Speaker 1: didn't you stay at a royal palace? Because if you
- 1:25Speaker 1: stay at a royal palace, you're in the royal bubble,
- 1:28Speaker 1: you get the royal security. So these palaces have extra
- 1:32Speaker 1: extra security that other hotels and places do not have.
- 1:37Speaker 1: They have armed guards. That's the thing here in Britain.
- 1:40Speaker 1: A lot of people private security are not allowed to
- 1:42Speaker 1: carry guns. If you turn up in Britain and your
- 1:45Speaker 1: madonna with a security guards, you can have a one
- 1:47Speaker 1: hundred security guards. They're not allowed at a gun unless
- 1:50Speaker 1: they have a special special reason to have one. They're
- 1:53Speaker 1: quite tricky to get. So Harry and the family, Meghan
- 1:56Speaker 1: and the children were all going to stay at Buckingham Palace.
- 2:00Speaker 1: There it turned out that Meghan and the kids who
- 2:03Speaker 1: we are not going to go and now are finding
- 2:05Speaker 1: out that this is Harry, Dillian and Dallian not making
- 2:10Speaker 1: a decision. He was offered this place at Buckingham Palace.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Some reports are that he declined and then changed his mind.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Some reports are that he just didn't answer fast enough
- 2:22Speaker 1: and by the time he said yes, it was too late.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Now this is where it gets really interesting. There are
- 2:29Speaker 1: five hundred rooms in Bookingham Palace.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I was just gonna say that.
- 2:33Speaker 1: We can throw a blanket down. Now other people are
- 2:36Speaker 1: saying it doesn't work like that to stay at Buckingham Palace.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's not a hotel. It's got to be set up
- 2:42Speaker 1: for him. His family's not with him. How much work
- 2:45Speaker 1: does it take to put a couple of towels out
- 2:47Speaker 1: of bed, put some sheets on the bed. It's a
- 2:51Speaker 1: massive place. I think that although a lot of people
- 2:55Speaker 1: in Britain are celebrating the King for this decision, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's because they don't like Harry and it's nothing else.
- 3:01Speaker 1: If they liked Harry and Meghan, they'd be outrage. It's
- 3:04Speaker 1: a palace, there's room. I think it makes them look
- 3:07Speaker 1: a little bit petty. What do you think mistake?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean the first thought that went through my
- 3:12Speaker 3: mind when you were telling the story is isn't bugging
- 3:14Speaker 3: I saw a Buckingham Palace.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I was there.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It's freaking huge. Yeah, it does feel a little petty.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It's like, oh, you didn't answer fast enough. You're not
- 3:24Speaker 3: bringing my grandchildren, so you can't stay here. I mean,
- 3:28Speaker 3: he's one young you know, young man. He's not that
- 3:31Speaker 3: he's not that big. Again, does it? Does he have
- 3:35Speaker 3: like an old bedroom he stay in? I mean, this
- 3:38Speaker 3: isn't it doesn't seem that complicated. But again, like you said,
- 3:41Speaker 3: the rules are different in London. They have to prepare
- 3:45Speaker 3: whatever that means. So in that case, yeah, Harry, you
- 3:50Speaker 3: should have said yes.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Follow our rule.
- 3:53Speaker 3: We say yes as soon as we get the invitation,
- 3:56Speaker 3: and then we decide closer to the date whether or
- 3:58Speaker 3: not we can make it right.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's how you do it. I can go either way
- 4:03Speaker 1: on this one, because part of me is I do
- 4:05Speaker 1: like rules. Like if I'm going to have a birthday
- 4:07Speaker 1: party and I invite people, I asked them to respond
- 4:10Speaker 1: by a certain date. Now, to be honest, if you
- 4:12Speaker 1: just turn up, you're gonna get it. Like. It's not
- 4:14Speaker 1: like I'm gonna be like, oh, you're not lad it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: But then again, I'm not a prince. My friends are
- 4:19Speaker 1: not royals. I don't have to worry about security. I
- 4:21Speaker 1: don't really have to worry about staffing. There is something
- 4:24Speaker 1: about protocol for members of the royal family, and Harry
- 4:27Speaker 1: certainly wants to be treated as a prince. But he's
- 4:30Speaker 1: left in a little bit too late. Now. However, if
- 4:33Speaker 1: the dad called him and said, listen, come and stay here,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're not going to be on the couch. But it's
- 4:38Speaker 1: not going to be quite the royal visit because we
- 4:40Speaker 1: didn't hire the staff. You don't have your own butler,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you don't have your own chaff, we don't have your
- 4:45Speaker 1: own cleaner. But we'll figure it out. You know, I
- 4:47Speaker 1: could rock up at my mom's house today. Now. She
- 4:50Speaker 1: might not be that happy that I didn't give her
- 4:51Speaker 1: any notice to buy some water and some extra food,
- 4:54Speaker 1: but she's not gonna say no. I think it's plight
- 4:58Speaker 1: to give people some notice. You can't just my door,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but maybe you can if you ran my doorbell. I'd
- 5:02Speaker 1: be like, sleep on the character mistic. We'll figure it out,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but it's it is trigger.
- 5:08Speaker 2: To give some people. It's a little question for you, Rare.
- 5:11Speaker 3: So my question is, if he's not staying at Buckingham Palace,
- 5:15Speaker 3: where will he stay now? When I was in London
- 5:17Speaker 3: just a couple of weeks ago, I stayed at the
- 5:22Speaker 3: London Langham, which is very.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Beautiful, very nice.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Where would Harry say?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Dorchester is a hotel that they really like in Britain.
- 5:29Speaker 1: There are many really fancy hotels. There are five star
- 5:32Speaker 1: hotels in Britain. It is a capital of the world.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's like coming to New York. If you've got the money,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you can stay at the Carlisle. You can stay at
- 5:40Speaker 1: the Mark. You and I were not staying their Misty.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm not paying five thousand dollars a.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Night like seventy five thousand Mark.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And there are rewhare there are fabulous hotels in London.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Who are going to have a room tonight. It's not
- 5:54Speaker 1: it's not like there's no room in the inn. He
- 5:56Speaker 1: will find a place to stay. It's the optics. It's
- 5:59Speaker 1: just so bad for both of them, and I don't
- 6:02Speaker 1: know how the family ever gets back together. I'm going
- 6:06Speaker 1: to have a story breaking on my sub stack today
- 6:08Speaker 1: this morning, and it's Megan was really angry about this
- 6:11Speaker 1: because it's she She sees this as disrespect that this
- 6:14Speaker 1: is the sun. He's coming to Britain. And the other
- 6:17Speaker 1: people I feel bad for are the Invictors Games. This
- 6:19Speaker 1: whole trip was not meant to be about royal chaos.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It was meant to be about the Invictus Games, the
- 6:26Speaker 1: wounded veterans. That's what the trip was about, and now
- 6:29Speaker 1: it's just turned into a trip of drama. It's going
- 6:32Speaker 1: to be very interesting because today there's a major, major
- 6:36Speaker 1: decision about Harry's case, his legal case with the Daily Mail.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So we're going to find out that today. We're going
- 6:43Speaker 1: to find out where he's staying. Today, we're going to
- 6:45Speaker 1: find out is Meghan and the kid's going to fly
- 6:47Speaker 1: out later this week to be in Birmingham to kick
- 6:50Speaker 1: off the Invictors games. I don't think they are. So
- 6:54Speaker 1: a lot of stuff is going to happen this week
- 6:56Speaker 1: in the Royal family, and it is about It's not
- 6:58Speaker 1: about this week, it's about setting up the future. If
- 7:01Speaker 1: they won't even let him stay at a massive house
- 7:04Speaker 1: they have that nobody lives in by the way, the
- 7:06Speaker 1: Kinggate live in there, William Mate living there. It's pretty
- 7:10Speaker 1: much empty. It's like an office building. Bookingham Palace is
- 7:13Speaker 1: very impressive. You saw it two weeks ago. I grew
- 7:15Speaker 1: up not ran the block from Bookingham Palace, so it's
- 7:18Speaker 1: not that wealthy, but I grew up in the same
- 7:20Speaker 1: country as Booking and Palace. To do this, to offer
- 7:24Speaker 1: somebody a room and then to take it back is
- 7:27Speaker 1: just not right. But if I offer you a room
- 7:30Speaker 1: and you turn it down and then you change your mind,
- 7:33Speaker 1: it just gets messy. I think this is the problem
- 7:35Speaker 1: with Harry and Meghan. They're messy. Nothing's nothing's easy, It's
- 7:40Speaker 1: always chaos, which brings us to our whole question of
- 7:42Speaker 1: the day. It looks like King Charles has evoked Harry's
- 7:45Speaker 1: invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace? Is this the right decision?
- 7:49Speaker 1: I could go either way. Is this the right decision?
- 7:52Speaker 1: Or is this the wrong decision? Does this look petty?
- 7:56Speaker 1: What do you think? Hey? Go voter's up to you.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Nor ease go votes on at to it X page
- 8:01Speaker 1: at Naughty Noise. Rob our facebook page is Naughty Gossip
- 8:05Speaker 1: and be sure to check back to Amarawa to hear
- 8:09Speaker 1: your result. Say, Misteve, how do you work it out?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well?
- 8:12Speaker 3: We all know it was a big wedding weekend for
- 8:15Speaker 3: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey and his emotional promise to
- 8:19Speaker 3: her left her in tears. So he had to fight
- 8:22Speaker 3: through nerves to deliver this heartfelt promise that left, like
- 8:26Speaker 3: I said, Taylor, just with the tears running down her face.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I hope she had that waterproof mascaraon. You know, the
- 8:33Speaker 3: ceremony happened at Madison Square Garden. I did not go
- 8:37Speaker 3: near that space on Friday. So, according to guests, the
- 8:40Speaker 3: NFL star vowed he would protect her forever and it
- 8:44Speaker 3: was a deeply personal moment that became one of the
- 8:46Speaker 3: ceremonies highlights. So the couple spent about twenty minutes each.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Ooh, I know that was a little long.
- 8:52Speaker 3: You talked about it yesterday, reading for vows from elegant booklets,
- 8:56Speaker 3: sharing stories about how they met, why they chose each other,
- 9:00Speaker 3: and the future they.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Hope to build together. And so guests described that, you know, it's.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Heartfelt and funny and very very romantic. Mom Now, Adam
- 9:12Speaker 3: sand let me know. He officiated the ceremony, and he
- 9:15Speaker 3: kept things like by reminding the newly weds to kiss
- 9:18Speaker 3: every chance you get. And somebody told you naughty but nice.
- 9:23Speaker 3: There wasn't a dry eye in the killed. Less than
- 9:26Speaker 3: a celebrity wedding. Less than a celebrity wedding, but more
- 9:30Speaker 3: like just like just like a family get together.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm happy for the girl, but I'm having
- 9:37Speaker 2: a heart time.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Excepting that it took place at Madison Square, I drink
- 9:41Speaker 3: out of a thousand people.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I just I know, I don't get it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I don't get it, I don't eat it. It's put
- 9:48Speaker 1: me off for a little bit. You know, I love
- 9:50Speaker 1: Tennis fift I love would not have done this. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: also told to now more reports get at this is
- 9:55Speaker 1: what me and Delene do do for a living. And
- 9:57Speaker 1: initially it's the press release, it's publicist and it's official people.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They're the ones that talk to you. Then after a
- 10:02Speaker 1: couple of days, the real people tell you the truth.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It takes them a few days to build the confidence
- 10:07Speaker 1: up to think about it because they don't want to
- 10:09Speaker 1: upset Taylor. They don't want to say something's going to
- 10:12Speaker 1: get him in trouble. They want to tell somebody who
- 10:13Speaker 1: they can trust. So it takes a few days. Now
- 10:16Speaker 1: it is what two three days after the wedding, and
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm starting to hear the real story. I hear it
- 10:21Speaker 1: was messy. I hear there was not enough seats for everything.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I hear there was a buffet. It wasn't a sit
- 10:26Speaker 1: down meal. You can't serve a thousand people. No chef
- 10:29Speaker 1: in America can serve a thousand people. That's why restaurants
- 10:32Speaker 1: stagger the sittings. They don't want it packed all at
- 10:35Speaker 1: the same time because the kitchen gets overwhelmed and the
- 10:37Speaker 1: food is terrible. Bruce and I once went to a
- 10:40Speaker 1: wedding of four hundred people. It wasn't that good because
- 10:43Speaker 1: it's just too many people. This was a thousand people.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Julia Roberts was standing on a line looking for a
- 10:49Speaker 1: bit of buffet. Steven Spielberg couldn't find a seat. There's
- 10:53Speaker 1: stuff now coming out about this one. The other thing
- 10:55Speaker 1: they did, and Vanity Fair does this for their Oscar party.
- 10:58Speaker 1: They stagger the arrivals so the be the sealless talent
- 11:02Speaker 1: has to get there early. Julia Roberts Brad Pitt can
- 11:05Speaker 1: turn up five minutes before the show, so they didn't
- 11:07Speaker 1: get married until later in the evening. But their guests,
- 11:10Speaker 1: some of their guests had to arrive at two three
- 11:12Speaker 1: thirty and just sit around. There were no seats. You
- 11:16Speaker 1: had your cell phone taken off your so you couldn't
- 11:18Speaker 1: even play on your phone. Me and you, when I
- 11:20Speaker 1: go to Body Knows and you're ten minutes later, I'm
- 11:22Speaker 1: ten minutes late. We play on our phones for twenty Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: we got emails. I can keep myself busy for really
- 11:28Speaker 1: two hours. I can. I listened to podcasts, I listened
- 11:30Speaker 1: to my music. They had to just sit around waiting
- 11:34Speaker 1: for the big stars to turn up for hours and
- 11:36Speaker 1: hours without their self. As more stuff is coming out
- 11:39Speaker 1: about this wedding and it is not that flattering.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I've realized there's probably a bigger story
- 11:47Speaker 3: behind this of why they chose to do it that way,
- 11:50Speaker 3: and you know, whatever movie she's making or her album
- 11:53Speaker 3: that she's going to connect this to, but it just
- 11:56Speaker 3: doesn't feel extremely genuine to me. And that's fine because
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'm certain, and I'm going to discuss this that this
- 12:06Speaker 3: was not their marriage marriage, you know, they must this
- 12:10Speaker 3: was a spectacle, a spect The question is why, and
- 12:13Speaker 3: I think until we get that answer, it just feels.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Kind of I think they had a professional camera crew there.
- 12:20Speaker 1: They had five, six cameras. It was like when we
- 12:22Speaker 1: did the Gossip Table and you looked up and there
- 12:24Speaker 1: were six people with cameras. It was a big production.
- 12:27Speaker 1: This is going to be a movie. That's what this
- 12:29Speaker 1: was about. It was not about that moment. It wasn't
- 12:33Speaker 1: about Taylor and Travis being together. It was about I
- 12:37Speaker 1: think I fear monetizing it. She going to make millions.
- 12:41Speaker 1: If this wedding cost of fifteen million, she going to
- 12:44Speaker 1: make more than that in streaming. Okay, moving along. Rob
- 12:47Speaker 1: Ryaner's final on screen moment leaves fans very emotional. So
- 12:50Speaker 1: Rob Ryaner made a surprise appearance in Larry David's new
- 12:54Speaker 1: HBO comedy. It was filmed shortly before his death, and
- 12:58Speaker 1: they didn't want any publicity about it, so when it
- 13:01Speaker 1: actually happened, people were stunned, very emotional. I think it
- 13:05Speaker 1: was classic rob. It was fearless and funny and smart
- 13:09Speaker 1: and maybe the perfect curtain call. Obviously, we don't ever
- 13:13Speaker 1: want to see a curtain drop on something this ugly.
- 13:16Speaker 1: This way of going out was just so so devastating
- 13:21Speaker 1: to everybody involved. It was lovely to see him one
- 13:25Speaker 1: more time doing what he does best, which is make
- 13:28Speaker 1: us laugh. I spoke to a friend of the family
- 13:31Speaker 1: and they said he would be happy that the final
- 13:35Speaker 1: period at the end of his sentence was comedy. It
- 13:38Speaker 1: wasn't the tragic death, it was this, And so they said,
- 13:41Speaker 1: if you want to focus on something, don't focus on
- 13:45Speaker 1: the crime, focus on this. Just very short cameo that
- 13:49Speaker 1: reminded us all of why we loved him. Okay, moving along,
- 13:53Speaker 1: Juliet Roberts, who's actually a very very private celebrity, has
- 13:56Speaker 1: done something so interesting. What has she being up to?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Hey?
- 14:00Speaker 3: So, Julia Roberts is celebrating twenty four years of marriage
- 14:05Speaker 3: to husband Danny Motor and she gave a rare glimpse
- 14:08Speaker 3: into their relationship.
- 14:10Speaker 1: We don't get this, marriag no, no.
- 14:12Speaker 3: So she shared a sweet selfie of the couple cuddled
- 14:15Speaker 3: together in sunglasses, and she captured the post.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Twenty four more, more more.
- 14:22Speaker 3: And she delighted fans who really get to see the
- 14:24Speaker 3: pair together. You know, they married on July fourth Surprize
- 14:28Speaker 3: ceremony back in two thousand and two after meeting on
- 14:31Speaker 3: the set of The Mexican. He works behind the scenes
- 14:34Speaker 3: in this industry, and over the years they built one
- 14:37Speaker 3: of Hollywood's strongest marriages while raising their three children largely
- 14:41Speaker 3: out of the spotlight. And I think this is so
- 14:44Speaker 3: interesting because they got married at the same time as
- 14:47Speaker 3: Taylor and Travis.
- 14:48Speaker 2: But it was quiet.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I was a surprise, and they've kept their marriage really
- 14:53Speaker 3: low key, right, and that's why it's lasted so long,
- 14:57Speaker 3: and I want to be like Travis Taylor learn from
- 15:01Speaker 3: Julia Roberts.
- 15:02Speaker 1: From Drew twenty four years ago, Julia Roberts got married
- 15:06Speaker 1: and they're still together, and it really is a Hollywood
- 15:09Speaker 1: love story. Although let's be honest here, we can't forget
- 15:12Speaker 1: when she met him he was still married. There's a
- 15:15Speaker 1: little bit across, there's a the timeline isn't quite as
- 15:19Speaker 1: clean as what Julia would like us to believe. Okay,
- 15:23Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break before we get
- 15:25Speaker 1: in any more trouble, and we will be right back.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice I'm your host
- 15:33Speaker 1: from shoot with that dear friend, Delay that Dixon Haymsley.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Let's get to the polls that are Last year we
- 15:39Speaker 1: talked about Travis and Taylor's vows were twenty minutes long.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Twenty minutes now, I thought it was twenty minutes in total. No,
- 15:47Speaker 1: it was twenty minutes each, So it's actually forty minutes.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That's a long time. Is it too long? Ninety percent
- 15:54Speaker 1: said yes, that is just too long. If you went
- 15:57Speaker 1: to a wedding and the bride and the groom spoke
- 16:00Speaker 1: for forty minutes, forty they're making a movie.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I was twenty minutes is not
- 16:09Speaker 2: too long for editing.
- 16:10Speaker 1: It's right, that is right with you? Naughty's Hey, don't
- 16:15Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's poll. Go at twitter page
- 16:19Speaker 1: at Naughty Nice rob. Remember it's about King Charles. Was
- 16:23Speaker 1: it right or was it wrong to cancel the invitation
- 16:27Speaker 1: to stay at Buckingham Palace. You can also vote on
- 16:30Speaker 1: our Facebook page Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
- 16:35Speaker 1: that term ol rour to hear your results. And now,
- 16:37Speaker 1: what's my favorite part of the show. It's time for
- 16:40Speaker 1: her names.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Nice of the day.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Our nicest of the day is Princess Key because she's
- 16:48Speaker 3: just melting hearts. Oh she always does. So she had
- 16:52Speaker 3: this touching moment. She went to a London's children's hospital
- 16:56Speaker 3: where a ten year old patient and a slently asked,
- 16:59Speaker 3: are you the Queen?
- 17:00Speaker 2: I could just see this little face asking this.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Question, So of course she smiled warmly and she replied no,
- 17:07Speaker 3: I'm the Princess of Wales. And then she spent time
- 17:10Speaker 3: chatting with the children, you know, blowing kisses, accepting flowers
- 17:14Speaker 3: from these young patients. Now, of course she will be
- 17:17Speaker 3: the future Queen, so she visited the hospital to highlight
- 17:20Speaker 3: its ambitious expansion plans and its mission to provide world
- 17:25Speaker 3: class care for seriously ill children, and Rob I did
- 17:28Speaker 3: not want to mess up the name of the hospital.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's London Evelina.
- 17:33Speaker 1: That's pretty right. I don't know it, mister, but I'm
- 17:36Speaker 1: so happy that she was there. I love children because
- 17:39Speaker 1: they just asked the question that you're thinking, are you
- 17:42Speaker 1: the Queen? No, I'm the Princess of Wales. It's such
- 17:46Speaker 1: a lovely time in Case's life. I think after the
- 17:49Speaker 1: cancer battle diagnosis, she's really stepped out of that shadow
- 17:54Speaker 1: and she now is the She's going to be the queen,
- 17:57Speaker 1: but at the moment she's just a great, a great princess. Okay,
- 18:00Speaker 1: let's do add noughties of the day, Naughty, naughty. I
- 18:03Speaker 1: noticed of the day is Tom Hollands Spider Man, and
- 18:05Speaker 1: he would agree. He's in the new Christopher Nolan movie,
- 18:08Speaker 1: The Odyssey, which is coming out in a few weeks
- 18:10Speaker 1: and apparently it is selling out. It's very difficult to
- 18:13Speaker 1: get a ticket to this. He said he was so
- 18:15Speaker 1: frightened that he was going to be fired every day
- 18:17Speaker 1: on the set, and he said when he was acting,
- 18:20Speaker 1: two or three minutes into every take, he was interrupted
- 18:24Speaker 1: with the words cut, cut, stop, and he was like
- 18:27Speaker 1: absolutely terrified. Then he realized it had nothing to do
- 18:31Speaker 1: with his performance. It was being shot on Imax, which
- 18:34Speaker 1: can only record about three minutes at a time. So
- 18:37Speaker 1: when you're recording on this special special film, you can
- 18:40Speaker 1: only shoot about three minutes and then you have to
- 18:42Speaker 1: reload the camera. This is what makes movies so expensive,
- 18:45Speaker 1: these Imax movies. So it had nothing to do with Tom,
- 18:48Speaker 1: But it just goes to show you we get in
- 18:50Speaker 1: our own heads. We doubt ourselves before we get the facts.
- 18:54Speaker 1: We decide that the truth is we're not good enough,
- 18:57Speaker 1: and that is not the truth. It's a lie. It's
- 19:00Speaker 1: a lie that you've been telling yourself quite a long time.
- 19:03Speaker 1: May I be honest about it. It's not truth. Next
- 19:06Speaker 1: time you have a little voice in your head it
- 19:07Speaker 1: might even happen today that tells you you're not good enough,
- 19:10Speaker 1: you're not smart enough, you're not pretty enough. Stop that
- 19:13Speaker 1: voice and ask how did that voice get in your head?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Because it's a lie. It is not the truth. Tom.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You are ournorties of the day, but you're also our
- 19:22Speaker 1: nicest for letting us really think about this. If the
- 19:25Speaker 1: greatest act, one of the biggest stars in the world
- 19:28Speaker 1: can feel insecure, and so can we we do so.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Don't pretend you don't acknowledge it and then look at
- 19:34Speaker 1: the logic of it. It's not you. It's a lie.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's a nasty little lie that you've been telling yourself
- 19:41Speaker 1: for way too long. Okay, let's end with a moment
- 19:43Speaker 1: of rob. I feel like we've already done on Rubb.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You got a rob. But the amount of good in
- 19:48Speaker 1: your life depends on your ability to see it. So
- 19:51Speaker 1: the amount of good on your life doesn't depend only
- 19:54Speaker 1: on what you have. It depends on what you're willing
- 19:56Speaker 1: to notice. Gratitude changes everything. The more you focus on
- 20:02Speaker 1: what's working, the more hope and joy an opportunity you
- 20:05Speaker 1: see every single day. Now, that does not mean you
- 20:07Speaker 1: have to ignore the challenges. We all have challenges. It
- 20:11Speaker 1: means refusing to let them blind you to the blessings
- 20:15Speaker 1: that are around you. Train your mind to recognize the good,
- 20:20Speaker 1: no matter how small. This morning, I got up, had
- 20:22Speaker 1: a bit of a headache. I wasn't in the greatest
- 20:24Speaker 1: of moods. I looked at my little dog dar Bean.
- 20:26Speaker 1: He made me smile. He just made me smile. I've
- 20:29Speaker 1: got a bunch of beautiful flowers on my coffee table.
- 20:31Speaker 1: They made me smile. Happiness. Happiness begins in noticing what's
- 20:37Speaker 1: been there all along. It is there your life, my friends.
- 20:41Speaker 1: It's full of happiness. You just got to recognize it. Hey,
- 20:44Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So they're not even nice with Rob and miss Dshaw.
- 20:50Speaker 1: We're a production of Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio. Don't forget
- 20:52Speaker 1: to follow me on substack if you love your gossip
- 20:55Speaker 1: Robshuda dot substack dot com. And also to my novel.
- 20:58Speaker 1: It's started with the Whisper. Yesterday I shot back up
- 21:00Speaker 1: the charts. I think it's because people are thinking about
- 21:02Speaker 1: the Beach and a beach read, and so if you
- 21:05Speaker 1: haven't bought it yet and you want a good summer book,
- 21:07Speaker 1: I think I hope this will be the one for you.
- 21:10Speaker 1: And remember altogether. And now let me hear your singing along.
- 21:14Speaker 1: If you're going to bed me, take care of everybody.
- 21:23Speaker 1: It's not even nice with Bro
