  Speaker 1: in Brooklyn, New York. My grandmom both my grandma's my

  Speaker 1: grandmom on my dad's side and my grandmom on my

  Speaker 1: mom's side. They used to have these statues all over
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: the house. Amen. And some of them had things in
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: front of them, some of them had the rosary around it.

  Speaker 1: And even though I never saw them particularly pray to them,

  Speaker 1: but I knew there was something type of prayer involved

  Speaker 1: with having those statues in the home. So should Christians

  Speaker 1: pray to statues? And if you're a Christian, and you

  Speaker 1: should be listening up as believers, as a believer in Christ,

  Speaker 1: work on the cross, the veil was torn. Now we

  Speaker 1: can go into your throne, room of grace a quartancy word,

  Speaker 1: and boldly go there because we have access by way

  Speaker 1: of your blood, your spirit, your holiness, your righteousness, your

  Speaker 1: righteous robe that covers every single one of your children.

  Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God for that access. Thank you, Lord God,

  Speaker 1: get access to you, to your throne. That we pray

  Speaker 1: that you're a redeemer, your restorer, that you are the

  Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, I had your protection over our minds, physically,

  Speaker 1: emotionally and spiritually over myself. I hedge your protection over

  Speaker 1: my wife as she's traveling traveling mercies, over our children,

  Speaker 1: over our grandchildren. In Jesus's name, I pray health to

  Speaker 1: the body, strength to the bones for everyone who is

  Speaker 1: going through this virus that's hitting us from the time

  Speaker 1: one mediator between God and mankind. Person is the man

  Speaker 1: is interceding on our behalf right now for all of

  Speaker 1: is no, No, we should not pray to statues. Why

  Speaker 1: the New Testament and the New Covenant, Right, Matthew, Mark, Luke,

  Speaker 1: and John start from there, Amen, and keep on going.

  Speaker 1: The New Testament emphasizes that our prayers should be directed

  Speaker 1: to God alone. Like if you're directing your prayers to

  Speaker 1: a statue, to a saint, to a religion, to a person,
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: to a religious establishment, an icon or moji or I
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: didn't want to say, Moji is the other thing avatar? Right,

  Speaker 1: So a Guru. If you're praying to those things and
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: those people and not directing your prayers to God alone,

  Speaker 1: you're not connecting. And I want to be connecting if

  Speaker 1: I was doing that. We have direct access to God

  Speaker 1: through the Lord Jesus Christ. Direct access, like we don't

  Speaker 1: have to make a toll free call. We don't have

  Speaker 1: answer machine saying the phone that you are reaching right

  Speaker 1: now is out of service. We're not going to get

  Speaker 1: that from the Lord. We have direct access to God

  Speaker 1: through Jesus Christ. And there is no need for any

  Speaker 1: thing in the middle, no middleman, no intermediaries or physical

  Speaker 1: objects in our communication with the Lord. Right. And we
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: read that in first Timothy, Chapter two, verse number five.

  Speaker 1: Trying to take my time with this because I just

  Speaker 1: want people to know you have options. Everybody has options,

  Speaker 1: right if you want to do so, and you feel

  Speaker 1: like the statue or the object, or the icon, or

  Speaker 1: the guru or the person or the religion has that
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: type of power, and you direct your prayer to those
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: things or those people and you feel like it has power.

  Speaker 1: It probably does, probably has some power some use. But
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: the ultimate power, right, and the ultimate truth, and the
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: ultimate person to pray to is the Lord Jesus. And
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: the Father is reached only by and through the Lord Jesus.

  Speaker 1: Did not Jesus say that himself. The Lord said, I
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: am the way, the truth in the life. No one
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: comes to the Father except through him through me, he said,
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: So we go to the Father because we have direct
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: access through Jesus Christ. Amen. And Holy Spirit reminds us
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: of that. So Holy Spirit is the Lord's Spirit inside
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: of us, dwelling, a member, reminding us of who we are,
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: reminding us his of his promises, his word, his truth,
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: his authority, his power. So and Holy Spirit leads and
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: guides us into all truth. So we have I would
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: say physical means of a supernatural God living within us.
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: Because we're temples of Holy Spirit God. We're moving living
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: temples here wherever you're at around the world, and your
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: country and my country and the nations. We're all over
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: the world housing Holy Spirit God. And God made it
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: that way. There's nothing that we could have done to
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: make that possible. There's nothing we could do to gain
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: access to God other through Jesus through His finished work. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So this is cool as a believer. Like I said earlier,

  Speaker 1: you have direct access to God. That's amazing. Part of

  Speaker 1: the declaration that I shared the other day, yes today,

  Speaker 1: trust and believe and hope in God's word, you have

  Speaker 1: direct access to the Father through Jesus through his word.

  Speaker 1: On top of that, there's more. I call it the sauce.

  Speaker 1: On top of that, the Bible warns against doing it

  Speaker 1: any other way. It's called idolatry. Whatever you or I

  Speaker 1: put before God is an idol, and idolatry is a

  Speaker 1: huge no no, according to the scriptures. So the Bible

  Speaker 1: warns against idolatry, which includes the worship of images or statues.

  Speaker 1: First John, you thought I was gonna go to the

  Speaker 1: Old Covenant and say, Okay, here he is. He's going

  Speaker 1: to strike from the Old Covenant and bring it into
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: the New Covenant and talk to the Christians and say

  Speaker 1: you can't do that. Nope. First John, Chapter five, verse

  Speaker 1: mankind has a tendency to worship the creation rather than

  Speaker 1: worship the Creator. It's happening to this every day. There's

  Speaker 1: people who are in scientology, there's people who are in atheism,

  Speaker 1: there's people who are in all kinds of spiritism, and
• 16:31
  Speaker 1: they are worshiping atheists. Don't like to be called a worshiper,

  Speaker 1: but they actually are worshiping creation over the Creator because
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: they're believing in their theory of Big Bang theory and
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: a meeba. You know, we're first fish and then we
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: evolved into man and then man, you know, ape or man.

  Speaker 1: I don't know how it is, but the fact of
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: the matter is that there is a creator God. Everything

  Speaker 1: that we see in creation means that there was a creator.

  Speaker 1: Accidents don't create galaxies, Accidents don't create the world. Accidents

  Speaker 1: don't create a human brain. Accidents don't create the human eyes,

  Speaker 1: the ears. No, there's intelligence behind that. It's obvious. It

  Speaker 1: has to be. Things just don't poof and appear and

  Speaker 1: then we look at it be like, wow, how did

  Speaker 1: that get there? Well, if something poofs in front of

  Speaker 1: I'm going to be like, where did that come from?

  Speaker 1: How did that get here? Who made that? Who put

  Speaker 1: it there? Right? We have a God who created in

  Speaker 1: the beginning. God creates it. He's to create a God.

  Speaker 1: He shows up in Genesis as creator. Amen, and God

  Speaker 1: sits outside of time. He's not limited to our calendar.

  Speaker 1: He sits outside of time, so he's not in this time.

  Speaker 1: So he sits outside of time. He's not a creative being.

  Speaker 1: He sits outside of creation. He's to create torror. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So he's outside of time, outside of space, outside of matter.

  Speaker 1: why a lot of believers, brothers and sisters say, we

  Speaker 1: can do the same thing. And I believe through the Word,

  Speaker 1: we could speak things into existence when we're following the

  Speaker 1: word of God, not if we're making stuff up or

  Speaker 1: demanding things that God should do for us. No, it's

  Speaker 1: not like that. I don't think so. I think we

  Speaker 1: need to just follow the word of God and his
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: commandments and everything else will line up according to his purpose.

  Speaker 1: And will man will says animals or animals? Man is man? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: animals are animals, man is man? Go ahead and say

  Speaker 1: that to you know, atheism is a learned thing. You

  Speaker 1: have to be education to be an atheist. You have

  Speaker 1: to be educated to believe in evolution. Amen. And that's

  Speaker 1: why they don't like our faith because it doesn't take

  Speaker 1: education to know that there is a God who created.

  Speaker 1: And it's not just faith, it's actually evidence, evidence and

  Speaker 1: what we see the galaxies as far as we can

  Speaker 1: see right, everything that the planet is doing. Amen, we

  Speaker 1: can observe it now because it was put there by

  Speaker 1: God who created it. God intrinsic, totally self sufficient. Yes

  Speaker 1: he is. He doesn't need he doesn't need validation. I

  Speaker 1: giggle a little bit because people think that we create
• 19:46
  Speaker 1: a God like Man created God. People say that, so
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: they said, we're doing God a favor. You know, I've

  Speaker 1: heard so many remarks about this, But they're in idolatry

  Speaker 1: because if there is no God, and they're saying there
• 20:02
  Speaker 1: is no God, that means they have looked, they themselves
• 20:05
  Speaker 1: had looked around the whole galaxy and they have not

  Speaker 1: found God. Right, So now they're saying that they are

  Speaker 1: all knowing, they are omnipresent, and they're all self sufficient.

  Speaker 1: They're all knowing and they their God. So that's idolatry.

  Speaker 1: And if they ever have any kind of worship session,
• 20:25
  Speaker 1: they could actually be worshiping an idol. So Christians, we
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: don't pray the statues because we don't have to now,

  Speaker 1: Like I said earlier, if you do that, you could

  Speaker 1: different religions there. So I said, I put my head down.

  Speaker 1: God who hears, Pray to the God who responds, pray

  Speaker 1: to the God who saves, prays to the God who heals.

  Speaker 1: I try to focus on that, and I don't look

  Speaker 1: at the statues. I don't look at the items that

  Speaker 1: are there for prayer. I literally was in the chapel

  Speaker 1: was looking at the box and what is that box?

  Speaker 1: And then someone from clergy came in. He says, please

  Speaker 1: don't touch that box. We have so and so coming.

  Speaker 1: He's the only one that could touch that box. I said,

  Speaker 1: what's in that box? And no, lie, the lady said,

  Speaker 1: the presence of God is in that box. I was
