SPEAKER_04: Shortly after her parents received a call from McCann informing them that she had died.
5:16
SPEAKER_04: Something her mother says came around eleven hours after the incident allegedly occurred.
5:24
SPEAKER_04: Now, this is something else I've been getting cliff conflicted stories on.
5:29
SPEAKER_04: Some stories said it was the authorities that reached out to the parents and not Joe McCann.
5:38
SPEAKER_04: Now, this publication is saying Joe McCann reached out, but it was 11 hours after the incident allegedly occurred.
5:50
SPEAKER_04: What the hell?
5:55
SPEAKER_04: That delay, along with what her parents describe as vague and unclear explanations, has raised concerns.
6:03
SPEAKER_04: According to her mother, McCann told them that something had happened and that Ashie had done something to herself, but did not provide specific details when pressed further.
6:15
SPEAKER_04: Initial reports suggested suicide, but Ashley's father has disputed those claims, stating that no official cause of death has been confirmed and that an investigation is ongoing.
6:26
SPEAKER_04: Authorities have yet to release autopsy or toxic toxicology results, leaving key questions unanswered.
6:37
SPEAKER_04: Adding to the scrutiny are reports about events leading up to her death.
6:42
SPEAKER_04: It has been claimed that Ashley and McCann had a serious argument shortly after their engagement, intense enough that the hotel staff allegedly intervened and placed them in separate rooms.
6:54
SPEAKER_04: While not officially confirmed, the reported artication has drawn significant attention.
7:01
SPEAKER_04: Details surrounding the scene have also fueled speculation.
7:07
SPEAKER_04: As she was reportedly found unresponsive in her villa and later pronounced dead after being taken to the medical facilities.
7:15
SPEAKER_04: Mentions of marks around her neck and early claims of strangulation have circulated, though these findings remain unverified by official sources.
7:25
SPEAKER_04: As speculation grows, McCann has not been publicly charged or detained, and he is not detained, and he has not issued a statement addressing the situation.
7:39
SPEAKER_04: Online, his actions, particularly the delay in contacting Ashley's family, have come under scrutiny, though no former allegations have been made against him by authorities.
7:53
SPEAKER_04: Ashley's parents have stopped short of directly accusing McCann, but have made it clear they are searching for clarity.
8:01
SPEAKER_04: When asked if they suspect his involvement, they emphasize that the investigation is ongoing and that they are waiting for confirmed findings.
8:10
SPEAKER_04: With conflicting reports and limited official information, the focus on Joel McCann continues to intensify as the investigation into Ashley Janae's death unfolds.
8:26
SPEAKER_04: This is crazy.
8:27
SPEAKER_04: This is a crazy one.
8:28
SPEAKER_04: This is a wild one.
8:30
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'm the whole world saying it, but I gotta give my side.
8:34
SPEAKER_04: I definitely, definitely, definitely don't see suicide here.
8:41
SPEAKER_04: What about you, C-Tuck?
8:43
SPEAKER_07: Oh, this is what I was talking about yesterday.
8:45
SPEAKER_04: I know, I I heard I watched the show.
8:47
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, no, that's so like that.
8:49
SPEAKER_07: I don't I don't know.
8:50
SPEAKER_07: D and I even seen an interview where they where he was the they were interviewing the parents, and they said that he didn't contact them.
8:59
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
9:00
SPEAKER_04: See, see how many mixed reports by somebody else.
9:03
SPEAKER_04: See how many, how crazy the mixed reports is?
9:06
SPEAKER_04: It's so many contradictions.
9:09
SPEAKER_04: Like that, and that's what I heard originally that he didn't contact them.
9:15
SPEAKER_04: And then you got now we got publication saying he contacted them, even though it was 11 hours later, but it's like, how is there so many conflicting stories on a story like this?
9:28
SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
9:30
SPEAKER_07: And then like, why, like, why go through like it don't even make sense?
9:35
SPEAKER_07: Like, who who about to fly all the way out to Africa and all this shit on their birthday and just to do something like that, just to hurt themselves?
9:45
SPEAKER_05: Right, right.
9:46
SPEAKER_07: That don't make sense.
9:48
SPEAKER_07: After they just got proposed too.
9:51
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
9:53
SPEAKER_07: She was ready.
9:53
SPEAKER_07: She even called her family and told them that she got proposed.
9:56
SPEAKER_07: If she ready to plan the damn wedding.
9:57
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she she did this is what her ultimate, her ultimate uh goal.
10:03
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know, like that's what she was looking forward to.
10:05
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you can see from the videos and the her talking on social media.
10:10
SPEAKER_04: Um that's the time she picks to hang herself or whatever.
10:16
SPEAKER_04: Like, it's so many conflicting reports that we even know, you know, like we don't even know if that's how she even they like allegedly died.
10:26
SPEAKER_04: Like, we don't even know at all.
10:29
SPEAKER_04: This story, and that's what I'm saying.
10:34
SPEAKER_07: And all of this, like, found unresponsive.
10:37
SPEAKER_07: Like, no, say, say, like, you are y'all already said how she was found.
10:42
SPEAKER_02: You gotta try to try to clean it, clean it up.
10:45
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, even like you said, even the reporting, not even making sense.
10:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
10:51
SPEAKER_04: Let's check out something real quick.
10:53
SPEAKER_04: They got a uh a news channel six, ABC, but the family speaks here, so let's let me check, let's check this out.
11:04
SPEAKER_09: Hi Sarah Brian, yeah.
11:05
SPEAKER_09: Ashley Robinson, she was actually raised locally in South Jersey, and now her dad is making headlines across the world.
11:12
SPEAKER_09: Well, today we spoke to her family of nowhere.
13:00
SPEAKER_09: And the family says next they were considering going to the dance apartment themselves to try to get as many answers as possible.
13:06
SPEAKER_09: Now we also tried to directly contact Ashley's fiance, the resource, and the embassy, but we did not hear back.
13:13
SPEAKER_09: I'm loving the satellite seven.
13:14
SPEAKER_09: Shiny Command Channel 6, Ashley News, back to you.
13:17
SPEAKER_09: Yeah, heartbreak for the family and unfolding halfway around the world.
13:20
SPEAKER_09: Thank you, Cheyenne.
13:22
SPEAKER_04: So there we uh the mother said that he reached out eleven hours.
13:26
SPEAKER_04: Uh apparently there.
13:29
SPEAKER_04: So eleven hours after the incident happened and said happened saying she did something to herself.
13:35
SPEAKER_04: Now, and also I guess they verifying that they did have marks, she had marks on her neck.
13:43
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so that's something else that the family, because at this point, I'm only gonna confirm with the family confirming.
13:50
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
13:51
SPEAKER_04: Like, because it's so many stories, huh?
13:53
SPEAKER_04: That's all you can say.
13:55
unknown: Anything further would be deemed a speculation.
13:58
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
13:59
SPEAKER_04: So if I'm if we're going off of that, so she she had marks around her neck, and then he calls 11 hours later and says she did something to herself.
14:15
SPEAKER_04: How do he know that?
14:17
SPEAKER_07: Exactly.
14:20
SPEAKER_07: Because like he's like a normal person, but like if if they was it was they had got into an argument and got moved to separate rooms, you wouldn't in her room.
14:29
SPEAKER_04: Right.
14:29
SPEAKER_07: So you you technically wouldn't know.
14:31
SPEAKER_04: How would you know?
14:32
SPEAKER_07: So so he'd be like that so he I he should be fucking if you innocent, you should be fucking outraged.
14:42
SPEAKER_07: I want to know what happened.
14:43
SPEAKER_07: I think it's something something shady going on with this hotel that we was in.
14:47
SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
14:48
SPEAKER_07: We didn't move that's a separate room because we got into an argument, then all of a sudden she popped up dead.
14:53
SPEAKER_07: I want to know what the fuck happened to my fiance.
14:55
SPEAKER_07: He needed to be he shouldn't have been firing off on all cylinders like my man.
15:00
SPEAKER_04: No, that's a you you exactly right.
15:02
SPEAKER_04: You're 100% right.
15:03
SPEAKER_04: He's supposed to come out guns blazing.
15:06
SPEAKER_04: That's your fiance.
15:06
SPEAKER_04: You just proposed to her.
15:08
unknown: Just proposed to her.
15:09
unknown: Like, come on, dog.
15:10
SPEAKER_07: Like, no, that's not making sense.
15:13
SPEAKER_07: We in the middle of the war, you flying planes through Africa, like, through these, through these treacherous guys and shit.
15:20
SPEAKER_07: Doing going through all that jumping through all them hurdles and shit.
15:24
SPEAKER_07: I would be outraged.
15:26
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
15:26
SPEAKER_04: And they saying she was found unresponsive.
15:30
SPEAKER_04: They not saying she was and it still wouldn't matter if if she was found with a belt around her neck and tied to something, you still don't just jump till she did something to herself, especially when she full of life and no signs, you'll you still gonna not say for sure.
15:49
SPEAKER_04: He he was saying by them being in separate damn rooms.
15:54
SPEAKER_07: How you know that the direct conclusion that she did something to herself.
16:01
SPEAKER_04: Right, and you tell the family that I don't know what happened.
16:04
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
16:05
SPEAKER_07: Something happened to Ashley.
16:07
SPEAKER_07: Look, I'm I'm just calling to let y'all know.
16:09
SPEAKER_07: Something happened to Ashley.
16:11
SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
16:11
SPEAKER_07: We we we got into an argument a couple days ago.
16:14
SPEAKER_07: They split us up, put us in different rooms.
16:17
SPEAKER_07: Um I don't know what happened.
16:19
SPEAKER_07: Like, she they said she was fine on the responsive, they took her to the hospital.
16:23
SPEAKER_07: Now they're taking her to another hospital.
16:26
SPEAKER_07: That's crazy.
16:27
SPEAKER_07: Why the why she had to go to two different hospitals?
16:30
SPEAKER_07: So, like, he was like, I don't know what's going on.
16:33
SPEAKER_07: I'm trying to figure out everything.
16:35
SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna keep y'all posted as soon as I learn.
16:38
SPEAKER_07: He should have had that type of energy.
16:39
SPEAKER_07: Now no fucking 11 hours.
16:41
SPEAKER_04: 11 hours later.
16:43
SPEAKER_04: Like hell.
16:44
SPEAKER_04: And you and you saying she did something to herself.
16:47
SPEAKER_04: Like you, you trying to pick to take the blame immediately off you.
16:52
SPEAKER_04: And you don't even know what happened.
16:54
SPEAKER_04: You you gonna just say you don't know.
16:56
SPEAKER_04: And she said they said she was found unresponsible.
16:58
SPEAKER_04: They didn't say she was found with a uh hanging from a like literally found hanging from something.
17:04
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
17:04
SPEAKER_07: Like she would just report other times that that didn't happen where they don't reveal, oh yeah, he was he was hanging from the exactly.
17:14
SPEAKER_04: They always do that.
17:15
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they unresponsive means she was just laying there unresponsive with with marks around her neck.
17:21
SPEAKER_07: She was absolutely dead on the dead on the right.
17:24
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
17:31
SPEAKER_04: Somebody said he's trying to set the story to say she had a history of self-harm.
17:40
unknown: But he the only one saying that.
17:42
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
17:42
SPEAKER_04: Nobody else.
17:44
unknown: Nobody else.
17:45
SPEAKER_04: And you and he only knew her for a year.
17:48
SPEAKER_04: She 31.
17:51
SPEAKER_04: Well, she was, she would be, she's th she was turning 31.
17:54
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
17:55
SPEAKER_04: So she ain't even, you you look, you don't even know her long enough to know, to be the only one saying that.
18:03
unknown: Exactly.
18:04
SPEAKER_04: Her friends ain't saying her, her family ain't saying it.
18:07
SPEAKER_04: And and don't nobody know you more than your family.
18:10
SPEAKER_04: Your parents.
18:12
SPEAKER_04: They they they they it just don't make no sense.
18:15
SPEAKER_04: And like I say, for for him to just specifically be like calling the mother 11 hours later, saying she did something to herself, and you was in separate rooms, how do you know?
18:29
SPEAKER_04: Right there, my attendance is up, right there.
18:33
SPEAKER_04: Right there.
18:34
SPEAKER_04: Y'all in separate rooms, and then y'all get into such a bad argument, y'all gotta be separated.
18:42
SPEAKER_04: And then she just goes and unalives herself right then and there.
18:46
SPEAKER_04: No, that don't make no sense.
18:49
unknown: Crazy.
18:49
SPEAKER_04: She don't she don't call her parents, she don't text and say, hey, I'm I'm about to, because like, you know, nine times out of ten, sometimes, a lot of times they they have if it on a real thing, they'll send a message or something.
19:03
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
19:04
SPEAKER_04: Like, I can't take this no more.
19:05
SPEAKER_04: Especially they got parents who love them.
19:07
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
19:08
SPEAKER_04: Normally, under normal, like that type of suicide type of stuff, they gonna leave a letter, they gonna text their parents, they're gonna call, they gonna do something.
19:18
SPEAKER_04: There's gonna be some indicator, yeah.
19:21
SPEAKER_04: That it was leading something leading up to that.
19:23
SPEAKER_04: Exactly, because even based on the fact of how the family said they that she was calling, telling them everything that was, you know, how happy she was about the proposal and stuff they was doing and the safari.
19:35
SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
19:35
SPEAKER_04: So she was a woman that talked to her mom and dad or whatever, you know what I'm saying?
19:41
SPEAKER_04: So you're not gonna just, it's hard for me to believe, she just gonna up and hang herself in a hotel room or a villa and not say nothing, not leave a note, not text, not nothing.
19:56
SPEAKER_04: No, man.
19:57
SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
19:59
SPEAKER_04: No, but she telling the proposal, she happy and all that.
20:03
SPEAKER_04: I think they got separated.
20:08
SPEAKER_04: He was still pissed.
20:11
SPEAKER_04: He went back to the room, and they might have straight a chance he strangled her with a belt or hand or something, and then said that she hung herself, type shit.
20:27
SPEAKER_04: Like, like, like, like, I I believe, if I'm to believe, and I'm just speculating, if I think he has something to do with it, right?
20:37
SPEAKER_04: I'm thinking, I'm thinking like this.
20:41
SPEAKER_04: Let's say if I'm thinking he has something to do with it.
20:43
SPEAKER_04: So he knows what happened.
20:46
SPEAKER_04: So when he calls the mother and says she did something to herself, that makes me believe whatever method he used, he either strangled her with that belt, you know, if that really was the the thing that that took her out, or he strangled her with his hands, something like that.
21:08
SPEAKER_04: But I'm thinking either way, because he could have he could have strangled her with his hands and and suffocated her or whatever, and then took the belt and tried to make it look like, you know what I'm saying?
21:24
SPEAKER_04: That it happened.
21:25
SPEAKER_04: So it's like, but I I I believe when they bring like the autopsy or however, or or if that I don't even know how soon they're gonna be able to get a report of like how her body was like how she died.
21:40
SPEAKER_04: Because I know usually that don't that's not really quick, um, but it's gonna be to me, I believe it's gonna be some form of strength, it's gonna be strangulation.
21:49
SPEAKER_04: Um, and like I said, he he's a money, big, big money person.
21:55
SPEAKER_04: Those people, you know, he he they don't like to be controlled and saying you gotta be in.
22:00
SPEAKER_04: This room, you got I know for sure he went back in that other room.
22:05
SPEAKER_04: He not and he ain't waiting no 11 hours.
22:10
SPEAKER_04: He moves fast.
22:12
SPEAKER_04: He met her, and a year later he proposed.
22:16
SPEAKER_04: He don't, he not a guy gonna be just he I know those type that that if something happened, if they separate in their rooms, he going back over to that room within 20 minutes.
22:27
SPEAKER_04: What you think?
22:28
SPEAKER_04: Like he ain't feel me?
22:30
unknown: But not even not even just that.
22:32
SPEAKER_03: They they say he, you know, he a millionaire or whatever like that.
22:35
SPEAKER_07: Like, shoot, you down there in them type country, US dollars go a long way.
22:41
SPEAKER_07: She went to two different hospitals.
22:44
SPEAKER_07: So he they they probably uh the people probably came from this brought her to this, probably like, hey, I dumb, I give y'all, uh I write a check that I wired the money to your hospital right now.
22:57
SPEAKER_07: Get her over to this hospital, and we gonna because I got this or such and such going on.
23:03
SPEAKER_07: Or get her over there for this doctor, just whatever he made up, and then they come in and do their own separate diagnosis of the whole situation.
23:13
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
23:16
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
23:16
SPEAKER_04: And then on top of that, um, we'll get more information, but you know how over there, it's so much about just straight money, too.
23:27
SPEAKER_04: So even on the top of the uh on top of the fact he could have paid somebody to do something, he also could have not paid.
23:36
SPEAKER_04: And and specifically not paid for this treatment she needed.
23:41
SPEAKER_04: Because you know, over there, it's there, it ain't like here.
23:44
SPEAKER_04: Over there, you gotta have the money for shit.
23:47
SPEAKER_04: Like, you know, they ain't it ain't they ain't just doing it like how they do it here, they're gonna do it anyway, type shit to keep you alive.
23:54
SPEAKER_04: Over there, you gotta flat out pay, period.
23:58
SPEAKER_04: Like, you know what I'm saying?
24:00
SPEAKER_04: And so by him being a millionaire, like you say, she went to two different hospitals, it don't sound right.
24:07
SPEAKER_04: Somewhere, whether he paid somebody do something, or whether he didn't pay, even if, like, like both ways can be looked at shady.
24:15
SPEAKER_04: You got all that money.
24:17
SPEAKER_04: Did you pay and do everything you could to keep her alive?
24:20
SPEAKER_04: We don't, that's another thing we don't know.
24:22
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
24:23
SPEAKER_04: Because that will look shady.
24:25
SPEAKER_07: Then they ever then like like they say, he ever been trying to paint this picture like she had the history of self-home.
24:31
SPEAKER_07: You want to talk about history like she, his ex-wife coming out talking about why they why they split and stuff like how he like how he was when they were like, you know, and all his little habits and stuff.
24:45
SPEAKER_07: Not really habits, just like he wasn't busy.
24:51
SPEAKER_04: Go ahead, my bad.
24:59
unknown: And that's why they they ain't together.
25:01
unknown: Okay.
25:02
SPEAKER_07: Like he was like a abusive and all of that other type shit.
25:06
SPEAKER_07: So come on, you got a history.
25:09
SPEAKER_04: Right, right, right, right, right.
25:11
SPEAKER_04: And this is your ex-wife saying it.
25:13
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you got a confirmed history.
25:16
SPEAKER_04: That's crazy, bruh.
25:18
SPEAKER_07: Not nothing that you making up.
25:21
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, this this.
25:27
SPEAKER_04: This is crazy.
25:29
SPEAKER_04: Social media influence, as you hear, is a retweet made by McCann's ex-wife.
25:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that ex-wife could she could say a lot.
25:43
SPEAKER_04: She she she knows a lot.
25:45
SPEAKER_04: She could she could speak to his character or what, and if he's abusive, man.
25:54
SPEAKER_04: Who knows?
26:06
SPEAKER_04: They say they they got they got messages where somebody told her, like in the comments, he gonna kill you.
26:17
SPEAKER_07: Um like even with that stuff, like I done see seen and like heard about like people talking about her, like in her part, like what she saying in her personal preferences that like what what she what she eat don't make you go use the bathroom, man.
26:34
SPEAKER_02: Like, that's her personal preference.
26:37
SPEAKER_07: I'm her personal preference.
26:38
SPEAKER_07: That's her perfect personal choice.
26:40
SPEAKER_07: And she can be with whoever she wanna be with and have whatever opinion she wanna have.
26:45
SPEAKER_07: If the shoe, if the shoe don't fit, don't put it on.
26:49
SPEAKER_04: Right, right, exactly.
26:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm I'm like that.
26:52
SPEAKER_07: Like, you you getting offended, like oh yeah, she deserves.
26:55
SPEAKER_07: Don't nobody deserve no shit like that.
26:57
SPEAKER_07: No.
26:58
SPEAKER_07: Like all of that type talk, that's even disgusting.
27:01
SPEAKER_07: That shouldn't be even, you should feel disgusted like that shit even come out your mouth.
27:06
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I I I've been disgusted by that.
27:09
SPEAKER_04: I I'm glad you brought that up.
27:10
SPEAKER_04: That that everybody talking about because she liked white men or dated white men, she she deserved, got what she deserved.
27:18
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, like, or even if she was bashing or so-called bashing black dudes or whatever they said she, so what, that's her opinion.
27:26
SPEAKER_07: She ain't the first person to do it.
27:30
unknown: Like, like, come on, no.
27:33
unknown: They don't give you the grounds to wish that on nobody.
27:35
SPEAKER_05: Nah.
27:36
SPEAKER_07: Any type of malice or unhappiness on nobody.
27:40
SPEAKER_07: Just because they got a personal opinion.
27:42
SPEAKER_04: Right, right, right, right.
27:45
SPEAKER_04: Definitely, man.
27:47
SPEAKER_04: It it yeah, I hate I hate that like narrative.
27:50
SPEAKER_04: I seen that so much in my comment or the video I posted about, it was just there's a lot of, and it was black men mostly.
27:58
SPEAKER_04: I ain't, you know, that was saying that.
28:00
SPEAKER_04: And I was just like, man, I don't that don't bother, like, I ain't when it comes to death and being taken up out of here, man.
28:07
SPEAKER_04: You don't bring no no no no one person's opinions on what that preference is and and and and equate that to you deserve to die because of that.
28:19
SPEAKER_04: I don't like that.
28:22
SPEAKER_07: The ones I was saying, them wasn't black men, them was black males.
28:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
28:30
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
28:31
SPEAKER_04: And then and then they said that that that L boy continued to uh to post after she was supposedly died, but then he erased them because it looked shady, but he was just like posting regular stuff after she had supposedly committed suicide.
28:50
SPEAKER_04: He was posting on Twitter and stuff like everything was just regular.
28:59
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
29:00
SPEAKER_04: It's just a sad story that don't make no damn sense.
29:08
SPEAKER_04: It just don't make no sense, man.
29:15
SPEAKER_04: They said she didn't, he he even even like the mother said she didn't go into it, but they they said when even when he told her, when he when when when Joe told the mother or the parents that he just said she did something to herself, but didn't like provide no context or no details or no nothing.
29:38
SPEAKER_04: Like it was just real vague.
29:40
unknown: What is something?
29:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but but you know she did something to she hung herself or did something to herself.
29:48
SPEAKER_04: And then for you to say, and I'm going off of the words, I'm sure that's the words he used, if that's how she's quoting it.
29:58
SPEAKER_04: What you mean she did?
29:59
SPEAKER_04: How you know she did something to herself?
30:01
SPEAKER_04: How you where where you come up with that?
30:05
SPEAKER_04: It's almost like you didn't want to say hanging, or specifically, because you know you strangled, or you didn't want to even allude to that, you wanted to keep it vague.
30:13
SPEAKER_04: But how did you, and that's what I want to know, and I ain't got an answer to that yet from anybody or any news outlet or anything, because he ain't speaking.
30:22
SPEAKER_04: How did you get come to that conclusion?
30:28
SPEAKER_04: Because if you say somebody did something to themselves, you would to come to that conclusion, you're gonna have to know exactly what you think.
30:37
SPEAKER_04: Oh, she took pills, she overdosed, oh, she was hanging from this and her neck, you know, like at this point she done been in two different hospitals.
30:47
SPEAKER_07: They they gotta they gotta have some some type of blood work, something.
30:51
SPEAKER_04: Something.
30:53
SPEAKER_04: And with his money, and that's another thing I've heard about Africa just because of the way their system is, and like you said, the way our dollars is, that money goes a long way.
31:06
SPEAKER_04: That money, that money, 20,000, damn near like 200,000.
31:14
SPEAKER_04: And um with all the money he had, and you talking about 11 hours, think about how much time that is to get in contact, to pay motherfuckers, to to get your story straight, to to get shit lined up.
31:35
SPEAKER_04: That's a lot of time, especially when you're a millionaire.
31:40
SPEAKER_04: And you in Africa.
31:43
SPEAKER_04: So you're a billionaire over there.
31:46
SPEAKER_04: You know, and so it's gonna it it's it's it's it's it's sad, but it's it's gonna be crazy.
31:56
SPEAKER_04: Trying to find out information at this point, it is gonna be tough.
31:59
SPEAKER_04: That's why you got so many conflicting reports.
32:03
SPEAKER_04: Because he had it was too much time went past um for for he had too much time to cover his track to call somebody.
32:11
SPEAKER_04: You know, he knows people, you know, you got that kind of money.
32:14
SPEAKER_04: You even over there, ain't no telling who he knows.
32:18
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
32:18
SPEAKER_04: The call said, hey man, I just this I just I got I'm in a jam.
32:25
SPEAKER_04: I got I got I got I got a I got a I got a hundred thousand for you right now.
32:30
SPEAKER_04: Come help me clean this up.
32:33
SPEAKER_04: And it'd be somebody we will never hear from, don't even know.
32:38
SPEAKER_04: That's over there and just looking at it like, man, I just got a hundred thousand, which over there like a million dollars, so I just got a hundred thousand.
32:45
SPEAKER_04: Look, go to this hospital, take her to this hospital.
32:48
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
32:49
SPEAKER_04: Like, like, get her out of that hospital.
32:53
SPEAKER_04: She needs to be at this anything, man.
32:56
SPEAKER_04: It's just like you gotta look at all avenues.
33:00
SPEAKER_04: But the avenue, I there's only one avenue I'm not honoring, and I'm not I'm not believing she just killed herself.
33:07
SPEAKER_04: I'm not believing that.
33:08
unknown: Me neither.
33:09
SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
33:11
SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
33:13
SPEAKER_04: Uh, let me look up and see.
33:14
SPEAKER_04: It was something else.
33:15
SPEAKER_04: Uh, another article.
33:18
SPEAKER_04: But we heard from the mother.
33:20
SPEAKER_04: Let me see if they say anything more in this article.
33:23
SPEAKER_04: Um, just to cover our tracks.
33:26
SPEAKER_04: This is from uh National Today publication.
33:30
SPEAKER_04: Ashley Janae's mother speaks out, raising questions about the fiance's actions after Zanzibar death.
33:38
SPEAKER_04: Family seeks clarity on timeline and communication surrounding influencer tragic influencer's tragic passing during a birthday trip.
33:47
SPEAKER_04: Let's dig a little bit more into this new interview that the mother had, whose real name is Ashley Robinson, a 31-year-old Miami-based influencer, who died under clear circumstances during a birthday trip to Zanzibar, is raising questions about the actions and communications of her daughter fiance.
34:06
SPEAKER_04: Joe McCann in the hours after the incident, the family says key moments still need answers as they try to piece together the timeline of events.
34:15
SPEAKER_04: Why it matters.
34:17
SPEAKER_04: The case has drawn with drawn wide attention since Ashley's death, with her family seeking clarity on the sequence of events.
34:28
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and communication from her fiance.
34:31
SPEAKER_04: The family's account raises new questions about the timeline and McCann's actions, even as Tanzanian authorities have classified the incident as suicide with no file play suspected.
34:44
SPEAKER_04: He could have paid for that.
34:47
SPEAKER_04: Which is probably why the father, like, man, we ain't we ain't came to no determinant suicide yet.
34:52
SPEAKER_04: It's still an investigation.
34:55
SPEAKER_04: But the suicide thing came so quick with no evidence, just a speculation of a hanger, but no concrete she was hanging on this or hanging on that or she was found hanging, none of that.
35:10
SPEAKER_04: It's just classified suicide immediately.
35:15
SPEAKER_04: Details.
35:16
SPEAKER_04: According to the interview, McCann, a finance executive, contacted Ashley's family around 11 hours after the incident, but her parents said they later learned of her death from the hotel staff, not directly from him.
35:31
SPEAKER_04: This sequence has become a central issue for the family as they try to understand the timeline.
35:38
SPEAKER_04: Tanzanian police have said the incident took place on April 9th at a luxury villa where Ashley and McCann were staying, and that preliminary findings point to suicide with no foul place suspected.
35:51
SPEAKER_04: Now, on April 9th, the incident occurred.
35:54
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
35:57
SPEAKER_04: We don't even know when it exactly occurred.
36:01
SPEAKER_04: The family, of course, saying she's happy.
36:03
SPEAKER_04: So now they're saying what's next.
36:05
SPEAKER_04: Tanzanian authorities have indicated this case is being treated as an alive suicide based on preliminary evidence.
36:14
SPEAKER_04: And Ashley's body remains in the country pending further examination before it is returned to the United States.
36:22
SPEAKER_04: The family is uh working with authorities in Zanzibar and waiting for further details, including official reports to gain more clarity.
36:35
SPEAKER_04: Man, and and then and then you gotta figure all this out why why while your baby over there in Africa.
36:42
SPEAKER_07: Man, they still gotta get her body back.
36:45
SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
36:48
SPEAKER_04: And you got no control from here to Africa.
36:52
SPEAKER_04: You know, he got the fiance is in a position of power with her being over in there in Africa.
36:58
unknown: Yeah.
37:01
SPEAKER_04: He can, he can, he can, he can use his connections.
37:04
SPEAKER_04: He got money, he's over there, the parents is over here trying to figure out.
37:09
SPEAKER_04: You don't even have the U.S.
37:11
SPEAKER_04: You know, as far as the front line, you got all these Tanzania, but with all the time went past, all the time that went past, like I said, man, it's just he could have anything he could have did, man.
37:28
SPEAKER_04: That's sad.
37:30
SPEAKER_04: Let's go to the chat for a second.
37:32
SPEAKER_04: Let's see, let's see what's been sent.
37:34
SPEAKER_04: What y'all, what y'all saying in the chat?
37:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't like it.
37:38
SPEAKER_04: I don't like it at all.
37:40
SPEAKER_04: Let's see.
37:44
SPEAKER_04: No, they somebody said that they say how her body was found.
37:47
SPEAKER_04: Not really.
37:48
SPEAKER_04: We got no clear.
37:49
SPEAKER_04: They just said unresponsive.
37:50
SPEAKER_04: We don't have that's another thing, let you know something foul because they being too vague with the details.
37:59
SPEAKER_04: Exactly how was she found?
38:04
SPEAKER_04: Shit, I've done, I've done, um, I've covered cases where someone was hung.
38:12
SPEAKER_04: And, you know, you don't want to see it, but they they might blur some out or something, but they show a picture.
38:17
unknown: Uh-huh.
38:18
SPEAKER_04: Because it's that serious.
38:20
SPEAKER_04: Like, you can, you know, like with this, not that I would want an exact picture of it, but a picture of the room or, you know, blur her out or something.
38:29
SPEAKER_04: Something a little bit more than just she was found unresponsive, and you just throwing suicide out there with no backup evidence, no follow-up, no nothing to back that up.
38:41
SPEAKER_04: Especially for you to come to that conclusion immediately.
38:47
SPEAKER_04: And he's saying it.
38:48
SPEAKER_07: Like Lazy Babe said, what about the hotel cameras?
38:52
SPEAKER_04: Right.
38:54
SPEAKER_04: Where are the hotel cameras?
38:59
SPEAKER_04: Tapas that say 11 hours is crazy.
39:02
SPEAKER_04: I would have thinked he would call her family right away.
39:05
SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
39:09
SPEAKER_07: You don't you don't think you would owe them that res that at least that respect?
39:21
SPEAKER_04: Let's see what Elise Elise said.
39:24
SPEAKER_04: If she hung herself, don't don't you think they would have said she was found hanging?
39:29
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
39:30
SPEAKER_04: That's what that's my point.
39:31
SPEAKER_04: Everything is vague.
39:34
SPEAKER_07: They're not saying she was like social media influencer found hanging in the hotel room or something like that.
39:42
SPEAKER_04: And then they saying, exactly.
39:45
SPEAKER_04: And then they saying, and correct me if I'm wrong, people in the chat, because it's so many different things.
39:51
SPEAKER_04: But last thing I heard was he found her.
39:56
SPEAKER_04: He was the first one to find her.
39:58
SPEAKER_04: Is that correct?
39:59
SPEAKER_07: Or or I'm hearing, I'm hearing, I heard one story it was the staff, then one story that it was him, then he notified the staff.
40:11
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
40:12
SPEAKER_07: Well, I'm like, what you you can notify the staff, but who called 911?
40:17
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, let me see.
40:19
SPEAKER_04: In the Ashley Janae case, I'm hearing conflicting stories.
40:22
SPEAKER_04: One story saying her fiance, Joe McCann, founder, was the first one who found her unresponsive.
40:28
SPEAKER_04: And some stories are saying the hotel staff.
40:31
SPEAKER_04: Can you let me know which one is correct and send me an article?
40:34
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna see what this because it's it's one of them stories.
40:37
SPEAKER_04: You don't know.
40:40
SPEAKER_04: It's just so many conflicting stories.
40:47
SPEAKER_04: So one account they're saying, they're saying hotel staff.
40:55
unknown: Yeah.
40:56
SPEAKER_04: They saying what the credible reports are saying, and at least one circulating report tied to the investigation, hotel staff were involved in discovering her after concerns were raised.
41:07
SPEAKER_04: Specifically, one account says that after concerns, including from family, staff searched and a worker ultimately found her body.
41:25
SPEAKER_04: They're saying where the fiance found her story comes from, some social media posts and early chatter claim her fiance found her unresponsive, but these claims are mostly unverified and loosely sourced and not consistently backed by solid reporting.
41:41
SPEAKER_04: So the hotel staff seeming like that's the one who found her.
41:49
unknown: Okay.
41:51
SPEAKER_04: Um and so he didn't find her, so he so he wasn't looking, he wasn't he wasn't looking and checking on his fiancee he just proposed to, or to the point where hotel staff is looking for her and you ain't looking for her, that's just it just don't make it's just crazy, man.
42:22
SPEAKER_04: But at the end of the day, what what what what what what I'm saying what it's saying here is that more the the the more uh confirmed thing is that the hotel staff found him.
42:36
SPEAKER_04: So he didn't even find her.
42:39
SPEAKER_07: So like how I wonder like how long was she missing an action to make the hotel staff want to look for her?
42:45
SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
42:47
SPEAKER_07: Or if he no, he probably placed the call, like, hey, could you please go check on my fiance?
42:52
SPEAKER_04: After a while, after he got his shit got his shit together.
42:59
SPEAKER_07: I knocked on the door, she wasn't, she ain't been answering the door.
43:03
SPEAKER_07: Then it's already documented and they got into an argument.
43:07
SPEAKER_07: So he probably like, can you please can you just please do a well to shake this to make sure she's okay?
43:12
SPEAKER_07: And then they went in there and found her.
43:15
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
43:16
SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
43:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, this this man, I feel for that family just because, like you said, this the the the the the fact that you gotta get her body back here.
43:28
SPEAKER_01: Um I said my sister was the woman found.
43:41
SPEAKER_04: What's her last name?
43:46
SPEAKER_01: Did anybody know her last name?
43:56
SPEAKER_05: Oh, her name Robinson?
44:02
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
44:10
SPEAKER_04: I think I I might have I gotta wait.
44:13
SPEAKER_04: I'm responding, y'all.
44:14
SPEAKER_04: This is like live.
44:16
SPEAKER_04: I think her sister may have reached out to me.
44:21
SPEAKER_04: Let me confirm.
44:25
SPEAKER_04: Um let me confirm.
44:27
SPEAKER_04: I don't want to say nothing yet, but I think her I think her sister or somebody reached out.
44:31
SPEAKER_04: We'll see.
44:32
SPEAKER_04: Um, but sad, sad story.
44:38
SPEAKER_04: Gerald said who would stay away from their fiance for 11 hours?
44:42
SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
44:42
SPEAKER_04: Not him.
44:44
SPEAKER_04: Not him at all.
44:49
unknown: I mean, then you know that like I said, he probably they probably played that argument angle too.
44:56
SPEAKER_05: Yep, yep.
44:58
SPEAKER_07: Because I mean, because shit that'd be an excuse to be awake for eleven hours.
45:06
SPEAKER_07: So I know motherfuckers ain't got no arguments and they need left and they need came home.
45:17
SPEAKER_04: Man, I just don't I just don't I don't know, man.
45:20
SPEAKER_07: I got I it ain't it ain't it ain't had nothing.
45:24
SPEAKER_07: It ain't it ain't had nothing and they I I pray that they don't let the let them people sweep this shit up under the rug.
45:32
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
45:33
SPEAKER_07: Yeah she deserved she deserved her justice.
45:39
SPEAKER_04: Now Tabitha said something that I was thinking that's a possibility.
45:45
SPEAKER_04: Um I just was waiting to towards the end of the show.
45:48
SPEAKER_04: I wanted to get all of the actual real stories out there before I really get got into it's it's it's it's it's it's just so much so many conflicting things.
46:04
SPEAKER_04: I didn't want to get into this part of it.
46:07
SPEAKER_04: But I was saying, I was gonna say another option is it was a setup from the start.
46:14
SPEAKER_04: I was saying that.
46:15
SPEAKER_04: I was saying the the the the um get her over there in Africa, he could have possibly had connections over there already, who knows?
46:26
SPEAKER_04: Because if if it was a setup from the start, you would assume he would go somewhere where he knows he could where he's connected enough to do some shit like this, right?
46:36
SPEAKER_04: So if she let's say if she was pregnant and and and and basically like she said she keeping the baby, whatever, and he didn't want her to, whatever.
46:47
SPEAKER_04: Let's just we just speculating.
46:50
SPEAKER_04: He could have had that whole set up, which is why he was looking creepy in them pictures.
46:55
SPEAKER_04: You know, you can't hide your soul, you know, when all those people he was looking creepy in a lot of them pictures they took, you know what I mean?
47:01
SPEAKER_04: Just like like looking like his his mind was somewhere else, and I really strongly believe it's just a lot of speculation, so I don't have any evidence to really say that that it that is this was a setup from the start, but I think that is a uh option.
47:21
SPEAKER_04: I do.
47:22
SPEAKER_04: I think that especially the way it happened, I could see that being planned out.
47:32
SPEAKER_04: Um maybe he tried to get her over there and figure if he got her over there, he could kind of, and I'm speculating, but let's say if if she was pregnant, it could have even been a thing that when she got her when he got her over there, he figured that he might be able to uh uh uh uh intimidate her or threaten her into getting an abortion or something like that or whatever.
48:09
SPEAKER_04: That could have been what they got into it about.
48:11
SPEAKER_04: She could have been fighting back and like you know, that could have started the big ass argument right there, and then once once he saw she was standing 10 toes on whatever they was arguing about, whether it was a because she was pregnant, who knows?
48:24
SPEAKER_04: Then at that point he could have said, all right, well, you you you up out of here.
48:30
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, but I definitely think that the police and the and and people investigating need to need to look into any proof or any any proof or evidence that could point to this possibly being a setup, like solidify some of these motives.
48:51
SPEAKER_04: Um, some of the motive, like motive if she was pregnant.
48:54
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
48:54
SPEAKER_04: I don't uh you know none of I don't think that's confirmed.
48:58
SPEAKER_04: Um but that is that's one of the first things I thought about.
49:02
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, man, this could have been a setup from the beginning.
49:08
SPEAKER_07: Shit, just from the way he was looking, he looked like he ain't even had no business with no 31 year old anyway.
49:15
SPEAKER_05: Right.
49:16
SPEAKER_07: I don't be on I don't be understanding that like he was like like at least they close to your age range a little bit.
49:26
SPEAKER_07: Like, like that, that's because he looked like he was like in his like like early 50s.
49:35
unknown: Yeah.
49:35
unknown: I mean he going down 20 years and shit like that.
49:38
unknown: Even if he was in his late 40s, like you even if he was 48, like like she just turned 31, bro.
49:47
SPEAKER_07: You you was about to graduate high school when she was fucking born.
49:51
SPEAKER_07: Like that shit, that's just that shit.
49:54
SPEAKER_07: And then like I don't be understanding that, like, he like like cause I'm an intellectual type type person, so like what like that with that big of an age gap, like what it it I I would just I would think it would be like like kind it would be it'll pose as a difficulty as far as like conversing and and interacting and that type of thing, cause like you it's two different generations.
50:24
SPEAKER_04: Totally different.
50:25
SPEAKER_07: So I I know I know it'd be like a little hurdle or some shit like that, but uh to each his own.
50:31
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and it's each of let me ask y'all real quick before we get out of here, and we we got a little bit more time.
50:38
SPEAKER_04: Have y'all heard about a story about Ernisha Harris?
50:43
SPEAKER_04: Somebody who was found in a shed, dead, and anybody in the chat have you heard about uh and it's supposed to this is uh supposed to happen in Beaumont, Texas?
50:57
SPEAKER_04: Somebody in the chat, if you heard about a story in Beaumont, Texas about uh um uh a young lady named Ernisha Harris.
51:07
SPEAKER_04: It's a similar story to this.
51:09
SPEAKER_04: This is somebody that reached out, but I uh I was wondering this is this a story that people have heard of, and apparently they're thinking this is the person that is another black woman who may have been unalive by a white man.
51:21
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
51:23
SPEAKER_04: But I'm gonna check into it because this person, oh, it's on the news.
51:26
SPEAKER_04: Hold on, let me see something real quick.
51:28
SPEAKER_04: This this is Oh, yeah, so this just another another story like that.
51:38
SPEAKER_04: I just want to know if anybody uh somebody said they live.
51:40
SPEAKER_04: Oh, Gerald said he lives in Beaumont.
51:46
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well, it's another it's another story similar to this.
51:50
SPEAKER_04: So uh if y'all hear about it, let me know.
51:52
SPEAKER_04: Um I might cover it.
51:54
SPEAKER_04: Nobody heard about it.
51:55
SPEAKER_04: Somebody sent it to me though.
51:57
SPEAKER_04: Um it's the story right here.
51:59
SPEAKER_04: So this is the young lady right here.
52:02
SPEAKER_04: Similar situation where she died mysteriously in a shed.
52:08
SPEAKER_04: And they thinking her boyfriend at some joint.
52:10
SPEAKER_04: Just checking to see if anybody, uh, if anybody uh heard that story because somebody, the sister reached out to me about it while I'm live on on air.
52:18
SPEAKER_04: So just man, man, man, man, man, man.
52:23
SPEAKER_04: I got to do some digging.
52:25
SPEAKER_04: And it's one of them stories like you gotta dig and triple and quadruple check.
52:30
SPEAKER_04: Because they that I had went off the original story.
52:32
SPEAKER_04: They were talking about she hang from a tree.
52:35
SPEAKER_04: I said, what like it just they saying anything.
52:39
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
52:40
SPEAKER_04: Like, this ain't one of them stories where you could get go right off a news public publication like article and just run with.
52:47
SPEAKER_04: You got the double and triple check, as we see.
52:50
SPEAKER_04: One article saying we're in the girls three or four different stories in straight articles, too.
52:56
SPEAKER_04: Like one article saying the the the the guy told them later, then but but the mother saying that the fiance told them, but it's another article saying the the hotels told her, like so yeah, this is a tough one, man.
53:11
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna have to do some serious digging.
53:17
SPEAKER_04: Okay, Joe is familiar with it.
53:18
SPEAKER_04: He said he he's familiar with the story I was just talking about.
53:21
SPEAKER_04: He said, yeah, he allegedly set the girl on fire.
53:24
SPEAKER_04: Man, this this is somebody said weird.
53:28
SPEAKER_04: And then that's what somebody said.
53:29
SPEAKER_04: Elise said, isn't it weird how no stories match?
53:39
SPEAKER_03: Mm-mm.
53:42
SPEAKER_04: Isn't it weird?
53:43
SPEAKER_04: It is.
53:43
SPEAKER_04: It's it's weird to have this many conflicting stories on something that if if it was just straight suicide, it wouldn't be this, wouldn't be a thousand different stories.
53:53
SPEAKER_04: Like a legit suicide would have been like, hey, she was found hanging.
54:01
SPEAKER_04: They might even have little pictures of the hotel room or something just to like corroborate what they're saying.
54:07
SPEAKER_04: And um, and and and and and they wouldn't have a million different this person was contacted, this person didn't contact like what the fuck really happened.
54:17
SPEAKER_07: Exactly.
54:21
SPEAKER_04: Oh, let me put the link in there before we get out of here.
54:24
SPEAKER_04: We gotta reach our 250 goal this week.
54:31

SPEAKER_07: Other than that, the Cavs' first game is on Saturday.
54:58
SPEAKER_07: We playing the Raptors at 1 o'clock.
55:02
SPEAKER_07: And I think they said like the whole first round gonna be streamed on Amazon Prime, like nothing else.
55:10

55:11
SPEAKER_07: That's what I heard yesterday.
55:12
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, if they do that, that's like it ain't gonna be on like the fan dude, sports shit.
55:18
SPEAKER_07: Like, it's just gonna be on Amazon Prime.
55:22
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, that's wild.
55:23
SPEAKER_04: So the whole first round of the playoffs is gonna be on Amazon Prime?
55:26
SPEAKER_04: All every team, all the games?
55:30
SPEAKER_07: That's what I heard.
55:32
SPEAKER_04: Ain't it funny how they just come up with this like at last minute?
55:35
SPEAKER_04: Or like, you know, like how they close big deals like that?
55:37
SPEAKER_04: Like, all right, we just Amazon just got the paper, like, we buying the whole first round.

SPEAKER_04: They got a bag, don't they?
55:46
SPEAKER_04: Don't they?
55:48
SPEAKER_07: Hey, you have the uh you have the old girl from LSU, uh Flager?
55:53
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
55:54
SPEAKER_07: She got drafted last night.
55:55
SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's what's up.
55:57
SPEAKER_07: She got drafted to the Golden State Valkyries, but the Seattle Storm, they're like, hell no, center, center over here.
56:03
SPEAKER_07: So they hurried up and did a trade.
56:05
SPEAKER_07: They traded the second round pick and another player for her.
56:10
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
56:10
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
56:11
SPEAKER_07: So she on the Seattle Storm.

SPEAKER_07: Angel Reese got traded to the damn uh Atlanta Dream.
56:44
SPEAKER_05: Atlanta, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
56:47
SPEAKER_07: And then the one they drift, they just they draft pick last night.
56:51
SPEAKER_07: Like, they got similar playing styles.
56:54
SPEAKER_07: As soon as they drafted her angels, like, hell yeah, they like, like, let's go.
56:58
SPEAKER_07: She like, just another walking double double.
57:00
SPEAKER_07: Cause you know, Angel Reese average a double double two seasons in a row.
57:04
SPEAKER_07: Points and rebounds.

57:34
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna do some more digging.
57:35
SPEAKER_04: This this is not an easy case because you you you gotta triple and quadruple check everything that you run across before we report.
57:45
SPEAKER_04: But I'm definitely gonna I definitely want to bring the fact that, bring out the fact that how did he know, how did he know she did something to herself?

1:01:03
SPEAKER_04: Somebody gave$20 on the 11th as well.
