- 0:00Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:03Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Woor hey, it's one day. We got a lot to
- 0:10Speaker 2: get to. We'll get to Gaza, We'll get to the shutdown.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We'll get to Portland, We'll get to MSNBC, Taylor Swift,
- 0:19Speaker 2: Mark Sanchez, We'll get to Netflix has even big problems.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We got lots to talk about today. We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 2: the mayoral race. Throughout the program, there's all kinds of
- 0:30Speaker 2: myths in this mayoral race. Why if only Eric Adams
- 0:34Speaker 2: would drop out, that would help Cuomo, then Cuomo could well.
- 0:38Speaker 2: First of all, Eric Adams did drop out. You'll see
- 0:41Speaker 2: this coming the polling pretty soon. This is the myth
- 0:44Speaker 2: that people don't get. If Eric Adams were to drop out,
- 0:46Speaker 2: which he did, the votes don't go to Cuomo. He
- 0:49Speaker 2: might pick up a couple, but half those Adams votes
- 0:52Speaker 2: will go to Mom Donnie. It's not going to change much.
- 0:54Speaker 3: You know.
- 0:55Speaker 2: He keeps saying Curtis, if only Curtis would get out.
- 0:57Speaker 2: If Curtis gets out, the votes are not going to
- 1:00Speaker 2: Andrew Cuomo. Curtis's voters aren't switching to Andrew Cuomo. They
- 1:04Speaker 2: hate Andrew Cuomo. At best, they'll just stay home. That'll
- 1:08Speaker 2: be it. So these getting these people to drop out
- 1:11Speaker 2: will not affect the race. But we'll get to the
- 1:13Speaker 2: mayor race in detail coming up. President Trump, looks like
- 1:17Speaker 2: tomorrow's the end. Well, tomorrow is the anniversary of October seventh,
- 1:21Speaker 2: two year anniversary. It looks like the deal is going
- 1:26Speaker 2: to happen. Now Hamas is holding out. You got to
- 1:28Speaker 2: remember Hamas the most awful, evil, treacherous, dirtiest, filthiest snakes.
- 1:36Speaker 2: So when you make an agreement with them, I don't
- 1:37Speaker 2: know what that's going to do in the long run.
- 1:41Speaker 2: It may get the hostages out right away, that'll be good.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Benjamin Nta, who had to really really be pressured into
- 1:48Speaker 2: it by Donald Trump basically screaming at him, stop being
- 1:52Speaker 2: according to this exchange, stop being so f a negative.
- 1:55Speaker 2: It's a win. Take it. You're not going to ever
- 1:57Speaker 2: do any better than this. And it looks like it's
- 2:00Speaker 2: a pretty good deal. And if there's delays, that's okay too.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Let Israel go in there and keep finishing up the job.
- 2:08Speaker 2: But we'll see what happens. It'll happen probably in the
- 2:10Speaker 2: next couple of days. Hey, the government shutdown. You know,
- 2:13Speaker 2: it's fascinating if you watch the news, if you watch anything,
- 2:18Speaker 2: even the left left, left wing Morning Joe type shows.
- 2:22Speaker 2: The government shutdown was like the twenty seventh story buried
- 2:25Speaker 2: somewhere half an hour into the show. It's not even
- 2:28Speaker 2: a story anymore. You had that Hakeem Jefferys all over
- 2:32Speaker 2: television and Schumer yelling everybody's gonna die. This is the
- 2:35Speaker 2: worst crisis. Everybody's gonna die. Then Friday they said, we're
- 2:40Speaker 2: off for the weekend. We'll see you next week. And
- 2:42Speaker 2: they left for the weekend. If everybody's gonna die, but
- 2:45Speaker 2: we're taking a couple of days off, be back next week.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's a strange, and you can blame Republicans for that too.
- 2:53Speaker 2: They should have been demanding a vote every second. But
- 2:55Speaker 2: the government shutdown is not affecting everybody. It'll drag on.
- 2:59Speaker 2: It doesn't mean my Do you remember where you were
- 3:01Speaker 2: December twenty eighteen. No, Well, that was when we had
- 3:07Speaker 2: the longest government shutdown ever, thirty five days. You don't
- 3:10Speaker 2: even remember it. You've been through literally a dozen shutdowns,
- 3:13Speaker 2: you don't remember any of them. So don't worry about it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: What else is going on. This is great news. MSNBC
- 3:24Speaker 2: has been thrown out of NBC. NBC wants nothing to
- 3:28Speaker 2: do with MSNBC. They've been told to get the hell
- 3:31Speaker 2: out of the building, get that peacock off your logo,
- 3:34Speaker 2: take our name out of there. It's going step by
- 3:37Speaker 2: step by step. So this week is when they pull
- 3:40Speaker 2: away all of NBC news access from MSNBC. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 2: MSNBC tries to they make it look like there's some
- 3:49Speaker 2: sort of a news network. It's just very, very very
- 3:52Speaker 2: left wing site. Some call it a propaganda site, but
- 3:55Speaker 2: it's extremely slanted pro Democrat stuff. But because they can
- 4:03Speaker 2: keep switching now our NBC News correspondent and then they
- 4:06Speaker 2: can put the NBC News logo, people get the impression
- 4:08Speaker 2: of watching some sort of a news network. It's not
- 4:11Speaker 2: in any way a news network. So this is the
- 4:14Speaker 2: week they'll start taking away every resource of NBC News.
- 4:19Speaker 2: They will not be able to cut to an NBC
- 4:21Speaker 2: News correspondent or say NBC News. They'll have to hire
- 4:25Speaker 2: their own correspondents. They've also they're getting tossed out of
- 4:28Speaker 2: the building over there in Rockefeller Center. They're moving to
- 4:31Speaker 2: temporary studios in Times Square, they by the end of
- 4:35Speaker 2: the year have to stop saying MSNBC. The new name
- 4:38Speaker 2: will be ms NOW. And we've finally been told what
- 4:42Speaker 2: the now will stand for. Ms NOW will stand for
- 4:49Speaker 2: This is ridiculous. It will stand for my Source News
- 4:53Speaker 2: Opinion World. Huh, what the hell does that mean? My
- 4:58Speaker 2: source news appear world. This is how bad things are
- 5:03Speaker 2: over there. This is all they could come up with. This,
- 5:05Speaker 2: They had a month to work on this. My Source
- 5:07Speaker 2: News Opinion World doesn't even make any sense. Hey, this
- 5:11Speaker 2: just happened. Moments ago. Gallaine Maxwell had gone to the
- 5:15Speaker 2: Supreme Court to get her conviction overturned. Supreme Court turned
- 5:19Speaker 2: her down. So that's it as far as getting the
- 5:22Speaker 2: conviction overturned. Supreme Court rejected her bid to do that. Hey,
- 5:28Speaker 2: the Charlie kirkshooter apparently the assassin. They've absolutely confirmed everything
- 5:33Speaker 2: about him being there. I guess he didn't take his
- 5:37Speaker 2: cell phone, you know, they would have a GPS tracker
- 5:39Speaker 2: in it, but they were able to confirm it. The
- 5:42Speaker 2: campus college campuses don't have great security, but they do
- 5:45Speaker 2: have great surveillance video, and they've used the surveillance video.
- 5:49Speaker 2: They've tracked the shooter every inch of the way they
- 5:52Speaker 2: know exactly what he did. Apparently came a couple hours
- 5:55Speaker 2: before the shooting, walked around, scoped out the whole area,
- 6:00Speaker 2: have to change his clothes to all that black, and
- 6:02Speaker 2: then came back and that's when it happened. They've also
- 6:05Speaker 2: got his footprints. He was wearing these Converse sneakers, which
- 6:08Speaker 2: they have and they absolutely match all the footprints on
- 6:12Speaker 2: the roof and everywhere. So it looks like a sure
- 6:15Speaker 2: conviction for this guy. You know, normally if you have
- 6:19Speaker 2: an assassination, there's NonStop coverage of the assassin. Remember Lee
- 6:23Speaker 2: Harvey Oswald. They delve into all these reports and stories
- 6:27Speaker 2: about Oswald, has past, his life, his family is This
- 6:31Speaker 2: same thing happened with Sirhan Sirhan and James Earl Ray.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But because these are Republicans that are targets, no coverage,
- 6:39Speaker 2: no coverage the Trump shooting in Pennsylvania. Have you ever
- 6:42Speaker 2: heard one word about the assassin, instant cover up, not
- 6:46Speaker 2: a word about it, nothing, not even mentioned second Trump shooter.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Not a word of coverage about who the guy is
- 6:55Speaker 2: or anything about him. And the same thing with this
- 6:57Speaker 2: Charlie kirkshooter, no coverage at all. Speaking of no coverage.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Here's the most uncovered story, no coverage at all of
- 7:06Speaker 2: this from mainstream media. There's a Virginia race, governor's race,
- 7:10Speaker 2: attorney general's race, and the Democratic candidate, Attorney General j Jones,
- 7:16Speaker 2: gets caught calling for assassination, endorsing assassination of Republicans. They
- 7:22Speaker 2: find his text messages where he's talking about certain Republicans
- 7:26Speaker 2: and he says things like two bullets in the head
- 7:30Speaker 2: for this guy and one bullet for his family. Literally
- 7:33Speaker 2: just talking about assassination, endorsing assassinations. So everybody calling, well
- 7:38Speaker 2: not everybody, but Republicans calling for this Jay Jones to
- 7:42Speaker 2: drop out of the race, and not a word from
- 7:44Speaker 2: Democrats about it. Democrats should be condemning this kind of stuff,
- 7:49Speaker 2: this calling for assassination, nothing from them. The only Democrat
- 7:53Speaker 2: that commented on it tried to defend it, said, well,
- 7:55Speaker 2: it was a private conversation. But even the Sunday shows
- 8:00Speaker 2: would not cover this story. One of the panelists sorts
- 8:03Speaker 2: a very end to meet the press brought it up
- 8:06Speaker 2: and the subject was quickly changed. But it's amazing what
- 8:11Speaker 2: they will not cover. They just bury this stuff. There's
- 8:17Speaker 2: another story you'll never see you won't read this anywhere.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Netflix stock is plunging because of their pro trans stuff.
- 8:25Speaker 2: They've been promoting transgender stuff, offending a lot of the audience.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It's no need to promote this, but I don't know why,
- 8:32Speaker 2: but Netflix has been doing it. The stock is plunging
- 8:36Speaker 2: as a result. You got to get that book, Charlie
- 8:39Speaker 2: Gasprino's book, Go Woke, Go Broke. Read the book. It's
- 8:42Speaker 2: not going to help any company to go woke. Chub
- 8:46Speaker 2: Insurance that's considered the finest insurance company, Chubb. You know,
- 8:51Speaker 2: you got all your regular insurance companies, but there's AIG
- 8:54Speaker 2: is very good and all that, but Chubb is like
- 8:57Speaker 2: the gold standard. Nobody gives better coverage than Chubb. It's expensive,
- 9:03Speaker 2: you gotta pay a lot more, and they turned down
- 9:04Speaker 2: a lot of people. It's not easy to get them.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But now they're under fire. They got a new chairman
- 9:09Speaker 2: apparently trying to take them woke. Chubb becoming woke. Now
- 9:13Speaker 2: watch this or you got the greatest insurance company there is.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Watch watch this guy. I'll ruin this company with his
- 9:18Speaker 2: woke nonsense. Hey speaking in which Jane Goodall, Well, he
- 9:22Speaker 2: hears these wonderful things about Jane Goodall. Look at her
- 9:25Speaker 2: parting words were her final words. She'd like to send
- 9:30Speaker 2: Musk up in one of his spaceships with Trump putin
- 9:33Speaker 2: and net Yahoo. In other words, this is what she
- 9:36Speaker 2: These are the people she hates in life, Musk Trump, Putin, Okay,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I can understand Putin, but net Nyaho. That's the final
- 9:44Speaker 2: words from Jane Goodall. So don't nominate her for sainthood
- 9:50Speaker 2: just yet. Hey, mom, Donnie is in Uganda, his home country.
- 9:58Speaker 2: He's a citizen of Uganda. You know, besides the political
- 10:02Speaker 2: nonsense of Mom Donnie, have we ever had a mayoral
- 10:04Speaker 2: candidate who is just a little kid, he's thirty four
- 10:08Speaker 2: years old. This would be his first job. Have we
- 10:10Speaker 2: ever had a mayoral candidate who just became a citizen
- 10:13Speaker 2: a few minutes ago, became a citizen just a couple
- 10:16Speaker 2: of years ago, has dual citizenship. I mean, of course,
- 10:20Speaker 2: you got a total corruption of the media, no coverage
- 10:23Speaker 2: of this, nobody going after any of this. But he
- 10:26Speaker 2: was in Uganda, and there's a woman there who is
- 10:30Speaker 2: backing this legislation to have you put in jail for
- 10:34Speaker 2: being gay. If you're gay, you go to prison. That's it.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And here he was smiling and hugging her and arm
- 10:40Speaker 2: around her, smiling for a picture. Now, of course he's
- 10:44Speaker 2: now being asked about it. I was in the airport,
- 10:48Speaker 2: she came up to me. I didn't know who she was. Yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 2: nobody's buying that. Hey, they're going back to This is
- 10:52Speaker 2: when you're really getting weak. They're going back to attacking
- 10:56Speaker 2: anybody who doesn't pronounce his name correctly. If you don't
- 10:59Speaker 2: say mom, Donnie erectly. Remember in the debates, Cuomo couldn't
- 11:01Speaker 2: pronounce his name, kept saying Mandanni or whatever. Uh, I
- 11:06Speaker 2: like the Al Sharpton pronounce You remember Al Sharpton called
- 11:09Speaker 2: him man Danny. But there's a whole flak now. But
- 11:13Speaker 2: if you don't get his name right, take a listen.
- 11:14Speaker 4: The President reserves the right to get involved in racist
- 11:17Speaker 4: or not get involved in racist, although he has gone
- 11:20Speaker 4: as hard to say he absolutely does not want to
- 11:22Speaker 4: see uh Zimdami.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Dami Zorndami Mandami zoron Mndami.
- 11:28Speaker 6: His name is Zorn Mandanie.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Mister Mandami.
- 11:34Speaker 7: He's very good on Twitter and with videos, but he
- 11:36Speaker 7: actually produces nothing.
- 11:38Speaker 8: The name is mom, Donnie, m A M d A N. I.
- 11:42Speaker 8: You should learn how to say it because we got
- 11:45Speaker 8: to get it right.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Oh, calm down, and when you're really weak, deep down.
- 11:50Speaker 2: This is what Kamala Harris did. I remember you got
- 11:52Speaker 2: yelled at if you didn't pronounce your name correctly. I
- 11:55Speaker 2: still don't notice it. Kamala, Kamala, Kamala. If you're said Kamala,
- 12:00Speaker 2: you were practically run out of the country. It was
- 12:02Speaker 2: the worst thing in the world. And everybody mispronounced her name.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Obama mispronounced her name. You know, when she was sworn
- 12:08Speaker 2: in as vice president. Was just a soda my air
- 12:11Speaker 2: that swore her in. And if you go back and
- 12:13Speaker 2: check the swearing in, listen to the swearing in she says, Kamela.
- 12:20Speaker 2: She gets it wrong. So but you can't worry about this.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Here's moy im donnie about this subject.
- 12:25Speaker 8: What I take offense to is not someone's initial mispronunciation
- 12:29Speaker 8: of my name. What I take offense to is the repeated,
- 12:32Speaker 8: intentional Like Andrew Cuomo, this is someone who has made
- 12:36Speaker 8: it a part of his politics to deny even the
- 12:40Speaker 8: basic modicum of dignity to me as someone who is
- 12:44Speaker 8: running in the same race. And I think what is
- 12:47Speaker 8: so troubling is not what it means for me as
- 12:49Speaker 8: an individual, but it's the fact that this is the
- 12:51Speaker 8: experience of so many.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I see you sounded a little pompous and pious.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I don't think he's trying to take your dignity away.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I think he just honestly doesn't know how the hell
- 13:01Speaker 2: to pronounce your name. So hey. Saturday Night Live debuted
- 13:05Speaker 2: the season this is season fifty one. There wasn't mom Donnie.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Whereas as Al Sharpton would say, mam dammy, there was
- 13:11Speaker 2: a character based on him.
- 13:13Speaker 9: New York, New York Candaidate Zoran Mam Donnie ran an uh.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Well.
- 13:19Speaker 9: He ran an ad during an episode of Golden Bachelor,
- 13:22Speaker 9: in which he said, New York, will you accept this roles?
- 13:26Speaker 9: Not to be outdone, Andrew Cuomo ran an ad in
- 13:28Speaker 9: which he said, Hanker.
- 13:32Speaker 2: All right, it's not that funny, but for Saturday Night Live,
- 13:34Speaker 2: it's funny. You know, in year three it wouldn't have
- 13:37Speaker 2: made it into the final cut. But Saturday Night in
- 13:40Speaker 2: life not so funny anymore. That makes it now. Eric Adams,
- 13:44Speaker 2: New York Maya.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Eric Adams has ended his re election bid, citing an
- 13:49Speaker 9: official reason. Citing an official reason, of too much.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Swagger for y'all. Again, that wouldn't have made it into
- 13:57Speaker 2: the final cut year three, two twenty six. But it's
- 14:01Speaker 2: now you're fifty one. They'll run out of gas. They're
- 14:04Speaker 2: running on fumes. And that's about as good as a guess. Now, hey,
- 14:08Speaker 2: they had Bad Bunny as the host this past week.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You know he's really not bad that Bad Bunny. Musically
- 14:14Speaker 2: he's great and as far as I mean he's not
- 14:18Speaker 2: a brilliant stand up comedian with the monologue, but the sketches,
- 14:20Speaker 2: the guy was great. He's got a lot of charm.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He's the argument is he shouldn't be the super Bowl halftime.
- 14:26Speaker 2: You could make that case. He's not big enough to
- 14:28Speaker 2: be the super Bowl halftime. He's big enough to be
- 14:32Speaker 2: a host of Saturday Night Live because ninety percent of
- 14:34Speaker 2: the time when you watch that in Night Live, you
- 14:36Speaker 2: know you know you're getting older when you don't know
- 14:38Speaker 2: who the musical guests are. You know you're getting much
- 14:41Speaker 2: older when you don't know who the hosts are. So
- 14:44Speaker 2: but usually NFL halftime he's like the biggest star, like
- 14:48Speaker 2: the top tier. He's big Bad Bunny, but he's not
- 14:53Speaker 2: absolute top two. I mean it really should have been
- 14:55Speaker 2: Taylor Swift this year, but I guess I guess you
- 14:58Speaker 2: got two big to even be the NFL halftime show. Hey,
- 15:01Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Michael Goodman will be with
- 15:04Speaker 2: us in a few minutes. Scott Shannon will be with
- 15:06Speaker 2: us later. We'll talk about the Taylor Swift release and
- 15:10Speaker 2: what it's actually done, and we'll take some calls next.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:16Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 15:20Speaker 2: ten in.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Mark on Demand by setting up presead for his podcast
- 15:26Speaker 1: on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Diane in Illinois. Diane,
- 15:37Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 15:38Speaker 10: I'm doing really good. Mark. Hey, because I live in Illinois,
- 15:41Speaker 10: I can't vote in your mayoral election. But I love
- 15:44Speaker 10: New York. It's a wonderful city. I'm a little confused though,
- 15:46Speaker 10: you said that this month DOWNNY guy just became a
- 15:49Speaker 10: citizen a group of Uganda. But I see commercials where
- 15:52Speaker 10: he brags about being a kid growing up in New
- 15:54Speaker 10: York City.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah, No, he's only came here in recent years. He
- 15:58Speaker 2: only became a citizen I think five or six years ago. Uh,
- 16:01Speaker 2: he'd been here much longer, but he's from you Ganda.
- 16:04Speaker 2: They still have a home and you got how many
- 16:06Speaker 2: people you know have a weekend home in Uganda? Short?
- 16:12Speaker 2: All right, Diane, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh
- 16:15Speaker 2: Rich Myrtle beach Rich. How you doing pretty good?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Mark? Thanks? You know, when I found out that the
- 16:20Speaker 3: Obamas were going to be part owners or get money
- 16:23Speaker 3: from Netflix, I was never given Netflix up any of
- 16:26Speaker 3: my hard earned money ever. But as you think any
- 16:29Speaker 3: of this has to do with Elon Musk home for
- 16:30Speaker 3: the boycott of Netflix and why they're going down a
- 16:32Speaker 3: tube sto Oh.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yeah, no, No, that definitely helped, definitely helps stock is
- 16:36Speaker 2: plunging Netflix in trouble. H this. I don't know why
- 16:40Speaker 2: they got so involved in promoting transgender nonsense. I don't
- 16:43Speaker 2: know why they why.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I saw a post I Peter King talk about my
- 16:50Speaker 3: Donnie this w I'm Donnie that. But what are these
- 16:52Speaker 3: Republicans doing to come in and try to get people
- 16:54Speaker 3: to vote Republican? Because, like you've mentioned many times, if
- 16:57Speaker 3: you only get a twenty percent turnout, I'm Donnie wins.
- 16:59Speaker 3: If you do you get fifty percent of more, Curtis
- 17:01Speaker 3: might actually win this thing.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I turn out Curtis wins. Yeah, you're right. That's
- 17:05Speaker 2: that's the main problem. The Republican Party in New York
- 17:09Speaker 2: is a tiny thing. It's a little tiny thing. The
- 17:11Speaker 2: Democrats have a massive ground game. Ground game is the key.
- 17:14Speaker 2: That's the teams, the people that go out and get
- 17:17Speaker 2: to knock on doors and get voters, and then on
- 17:19Speaker 2: election day they bring them to the polls. The Democrats
- 17:23Speaker 2: have like sixty thousand in that army, that ground game.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Republicans nothing, nothing, No, there's barely a Republican Party in
- 17:32Speaker 2: New York. That's really the problem. Let's go to Chris
- 17:34Speaker 2: and Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 17:36Speaker 11: I'm good.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Thanks Mark.
- 17:37Speaker 11: Listen, you said before that if Curtis were to drop out,
- 17:41Speaker 11: people wouldn't vote for Cuomo. No, I would no, But
- 17:46Speaker 11: I don't want Mandamie and I want I want Curtis
- 17:49Speaker 11: to win, but I don't think Curtis can win. So
- 17:52Speaker 11: it was between Monday, Well, well.
- 17:53Speaker 2: There's one thing we know for a fact, because we've
- 17:55Speaker 2: already there's one thing we absolutely know. We've tested it.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Cuomo cannot beat mom. Don We tried it in the primary,
- 18:01Speaker 2: he got wiped out in two debates. He got wiped
- 18:03Speaker 2: out in the way, so we know for a fact
- 18:05Speaker 2: he can't beat Mom Donnie. Now you're gonna have it. Yeah,
- 18:08Speaker 2: there's Curtis, and you'll have a debate October sixteenth. That'll
- 18:11Speaker 2: be Curtis's shot to change the whole dynamic by just
- 18:17Speaker 2: for the record, yeah, well, so you gotta remember, if
- 18:20Speaker 2: we know Clomo can't beat Mom Donnie, we already tried that.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That's how you got stuck with Mom Donnie because Cuomo
- 18:26Speaker 2: was so weak against him in the debates. But if
- 18:29Speaker 2: Curtis were to drop out, none of those votes would
- 18:32Speaker 2: go to Cuomo, none of them. There's no Curtis. We're
- 18:35Speaker 2: talking about normal people, we're talking about rational saying people,
- 18:39Speaker 2: But nobody would go to Curtis. Voter is not going
- 18:43Speaker 2: to switch to Cuomo. You know, when Adams dropped out,
- 18:45Speaker 2: we find that half those voters went to Mom Donnie.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So it's not about everybody dropping out. Anybody was going
- 18:51Speaker 2: to be for Cuomo. It's already for Cuomo, and it's
- 18:53Speaker 2: all people that just got bulldozed by Cuomo. He can't
- 18:59Speaker 2: We've tried him again. Donnie. You know, Mam Donnie started
- 19:02Speaker 2: out in the primary as zero at zero. Once she
- 19:05Speaker 2: had two debates with Cuomo, he went to forty points
- 19:07Speaker 2: and he just Cuomo is so weak as a debater.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark.
- 19:16Speaker 12: I hope you had a good weekend and want you to
- 19:18Speaker 12: have a good week Short off the fuss of revenue,
- 19:22Speaker 12: in your opinion, is there anything that can occur that
- 19:25Speaker 12: could make the mainstream media the non woke as woke
- 19:29Speaker 12: as they have been.
- 19:31Speaker 2: New ownership, new ownership, and it's gonna that'll take time,
- 19:34Speaker 2: but a good question you got. CBS now has a
- 19:37Speaker 2: new owner, David Ellison, son of Larry Ellison. He's taken
- 19:41Speaker 2: over CBS. He's brought in a new This is now
- 19:44Speaker 2: confirmed by the way today. It will be Barry Weiss,
- 19:47Speaker 2: the new director of CBS News. She's from the New
- 19:51Speaker 2: York Times, but she's a sane, rational, old fashioned moderate
- 19:55Speaker 2: sort of a Democrat, and she does not like the
- 19:58Speaker 2: slanted news coverage. She will clean up CBS News. You'll
- 20:02Speaker 2: see a mutiny, You'll see a lot of people leave.
- 20:04Speaker 2: He has done this with CBS now he's trying to
- 20:07Speaker 2: get Warner Brothers Discovery, which would include CNN. He would
- 20:12Speaker 2: then clean up CNN. He saw Musk do it with Twitter.
- 20:15Speaker 2: He cleaned up Twitter. It was the most biased left
- 20:18Speaker 2: wing censoring, crazy place, banning Trump, banning conservatives. Musk bought it,
- 20:25Speaker 2: cleaned it up. So you'll see CBS get cleaned up next.
- 20:27Speaker 2: And if he gets a hold of CNN, you'll see
- 20:31Speaker 2: that get cleaned up. Let's go to Joanne in New Jersey. Joeanne,
- 20:35Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 20:36Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 20:36Speaker 14: Hi?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Are you familiar with jimash the singer from kazakh Stans
- 20:41Speaker 3: who played Mensis Square Going last night?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:45Speaker 15: Yes, What do you think the next Michael Jackson?
- 20:49Speaker 2: No? No, you got a little at least good, but
- 20:52Speaker 2: you still got a ways to you don't. It's it's
- 20:54Speaker 2: like everybody was the next Beatles, now everybody's the next
- 20:57Speaker 2: Michael Jackson. It doesn't really work that way. Let's go
- 21:00Speaker 2: to Richard and Bayshore. Richard, how you doing?
- 21:04Speaker 16: I'm doing well.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Marked.
- 21:05Speaker 16: This is when the total value of all the savings
- 21:08Speaker 16: from the upcoming shutdown cuts or tallied. I think a
- 21:12Speaker 16: good political move would be to apply some portion of
- 21:16Speaker 16: that money, right, away to an increase in the cola
- 21:19Speaker 16: that's coming for Social Security. Make it a bonus cola,
- 21:23Speaker 16: and this way people can see what their money can
- 21:25Speaker 16: be used for instead of all this nonsense.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, there's a lot of plans. But also
- 21:29Speaker 2: with the deficit of the trade deficit money, the tariff money,
- 21:33Speaker 2: let's talk about both these things. Take that money. Let's
- 21:36Speaker 2: talk about a rebate check. Send every body, Well it'd
- 21:40Speaker 2: be everybody like under two hundred thousand a year. Send
- 21:43Speaker 2: everybody a check for five thousand dollars. Now, some are
- 21:45Speaker 2: arguing with Trump, don't send these rebate checks. Pay down
- 21:48Speaker 2: the deficit with it, pay down the debt with it.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I think people rather have the check. We're always going
- 21:55Speaker 2: to have this debt. We live with it. You can
- 21:56Speaker 2: pay it down. Yeah. Bill Clinton brought the debt almost
- 22:00Speaker 2: the deficit down to nothing, but it just pops right
- 22:04Speaker 2: back up. But you will get something. You will profit
- 22:08Speaker 2: heavily off the shutdown. Hey, when we come back, we'll
- 22:11Speaker 2: talk to Michael Goodwin next. Lots to talk to him
- 22:13Speaker 2: about on seven to ten wor mister New York.
- 22:17Speaker 1: He's on the Game The Mark Simone Show on seventr.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Well Michael Goodwin, the finest columnist in America. You can
- 22:26Speaker 2: read them every Sunday and every Wednesday in the New
- 22:29Speaker 2: York Post. All his columns are up on the New
- 22:31Speaker 2: York Post website. Michael Goodwin, How you doing.
- 22:35Speaker 17: Good morning, Mark?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Thank you? Hey. What was that famous saying the Palestinians
- 22:40Speaker 2: never miss an opportunity, to miss an opportunity?
- 22:43Speaker 5: Ah?
- 22:43Speaker 17: Yes, one of my favorite lines, and I think we
- 22:48Speaker 17: could say with confidence it seems to be applying here
- 22:52Speaker 17: in the current situation.
- 22:54Speaker 2: So I don't know you've had this agreement. It's I
- 22:58Speaker 2: think it's the best you could get it right now.
- 23:00Speaker 2: And congratulations of President Trump for pushing it. But we've
- 23:05Speaker 2: done this way, haven't we been down this road before?
- 23:07Speaker 2: And it never holds up.
- 23:10Speaker 17: Well, Look, I think the even line that you mentioned
- 23:13Speaker 17: is certainly applies. The Palestinians and the Hamas in particular,
- 23:22Speaker 17: want to be the skunk at the garden party here
- 23:26Speaker 17: when you have so many endorsers of this deal, enthusiastic
- 23:31Speaker 17: endorsers Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, even cutter, you would
- 23:38Speaker 17: think that would create the momentum. And certainly President Trump
- 23:42Speaker 17: and Steve Whitcoff and Gared Koshner, who did the negotiations,
- 23:47Speaker 17: thought that they had pretty much a water tight deal
- 23:52Speaker 17: twenty points and beginning with the hostage release and the
- 23:58Speaker 17: broad agreement. I think mark was a great achievement, achievement
- 24:03Speaker 17: in and of itself and Hamas than what I believe
- 24:08Speaker 17: was a false signal on Friday that it would it
- 24:13Speaker 17: would move on the hostage release. It was ready to
- 24:16Speaker 17: do that, and then it said but and the butt
- 24:21Speaker 17: seems to go on endlessly. It is calling for renegotiating
- 24:26Speaker 17: what looks to me like the heart of the deal. Otherwise. Now,
- 24:30Speaker 17: I think a hostage release would be a great thing
- 24:33Speaker 17: in and of itself if there were an exchange. But
- 24:38Speaker 17: if that doesn't work, why would any of the other
- 24:42Speaker 17: pieces of work, which ultimately get to disarmament of Hamas
- 24:47Speaker 17: and civil administrators and no role for Hamas in the government.
- 24:53Speaker 17: So if they can't even complete the first step, there's
- 24:56Speaker 17: no hope of them completing the other steps. So I
- 24:59Speaker 17: think that that's why this thing has been bogged down
- 25:03Speaker 17: and you get yet a new round of negotiations. I
- 25:06Speaker 17: think that the Hamas strategy is just to negotiate this
- 25:11Speaker 17: till everybody gets tired of it and then walk away
- 25:14Speaker 17: from it. I don't think they want peace. I don't
- 25:16Speaker 17: think they want a settlement because it's the end of
- 25:19Speaker 17: their power.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, even I guess the end result of
- 25:23Speaker 2: all this thing would be a two state solution. Didn't
- 25:25Speaker 2: We just try a two state solution for twenty years
- 25:27Speaker 2: and look how it ended.
- 25:29Speaker 17: Yeah, I mean, Gaza was a two state solution, right.
- 25:33Speaker 17: It was a Palestinian state, and it became a terrorist state,
- 25:38Speaker 17: and that's what it remains. And to the of course
- 25:42Speaker 17: great detriment and deaths of many civilians there who either
- 25:48Speaker 17: went along or had no choice but to go along
- 25:51Speaker 17: with the Hamas rule. And so we're coming up tomorrow, right,
- 25:56Speaker 17: is the two year anniversary of October seventh. The horrors
- 26:00Speaker 17: of that day and all of what we have witnessed
- 26:04Speaker 17: sins can be traced back to that decision by Hamas
- 26:08Speaker 17: to invade, to take the hostages, to slaughter innocent civilians.
- 26:13Speaker 17: Mostly of the twelve hundred Israelis they killed, most of
- 26:17Speaker 17: them were civilians. And so this is the fruits of
- 26:22Speaker 17: that poison tree. And Hamas doesn't seem ready to let go.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we'll see what happens, It's gonna be an
- 26:29Speaker 2: interesting week with that. Hey, let me ask you about
- 26:31Speaker 2: the mayoral race this. You know, it looks like people
- 26:34Speaker 2: are starting to think when Adams dropped out, half those
- 26:38Speaker 2: votes might go to Cuomoa and half might go to Mamdani.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And there's this myth that if Curtis drops out, suddenly
- 26:44Speaker 2: Cuomo will get all those votes. Most of these Curtis
- 26:47Speaker 2: voters are not going to Cuomo. They'll pretty much just
- 26:49Speaker 2: stay home. What do you think?
- 26:53Speaker 17: Look, I think that Cuomo probably benefited more from the
- 27:00Speaker 17: Adam's withdrawal, or will I should say when the votes
- 27:03Speaker 17: are actually tabulated. I mean Adams was running at about
- 27:08Speaker 17: ten percent in the polls. Half of that, of course,
- 27:11Speaker 17: will be five points for Cuomo. I suspect it'll be
- 27:15Speaker 17: more than that because it won't just be the Adams voters.
- 27:19Speaker 17: But I think the net effect of Adams dropping out
- 27:24Speaker 17: is it makes Cuomo look like has an easier path
- 27:31Speaker 17: to the election. Now, obviously you're right that if Fleawah
- 27:36Speaker 17: stays in and he's there's no reason to think he's
- 27:39Speaker 17: going to change his mind. Yet I still think it's
- 27:42Speaker 17: going to end up with Mom Donnie winning there's no
- 27:45Speaker 17: way that either one of them can top Mom Donni
- 27:50Speaker 17: who I think alone, because I think he's probably got
- 27:55Speaker 17: a floor of somewhere around forty percent, and so people
- 28:00Speaker 17: are going to divide the remaining sixty percent. Neither one
- 28:03Speaker 17: of them is going to get there the way it
- 28:05Speaker 17: looks now.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Now the other thing is, you know, uh, Deblasio,
- 28:09Speaker 2: people like that get elected because you got eighteen percent
- 28:12Speaker 2: twenty percent turnout and just the uh, the left turns out.
- 28:15Speaker 2: If you could go back to the good old days
- 28:17Speaker 2: of seventy five eighty percent turnout, don't you think that
- 28:20Speaker 2: could make a difference.
- 28:22Speaker 17: Well, yes, a turnout could could swamp the you know
- 28:26Speaker 17: all these predictions. I mean, it is worth noting Mark
- 28:30Speaker 17: that when Rudy Giuliani and David Dinkins had their rematch
- 28:36Speaker 17: in nineteen ninety three, where Giuliani won, there were on
- 28:42Speaker 17: the order of one point eight to one point nine
- 28:45Speaker 17: million votes cast. In more recent and more recent elections,
- 28:50Speaker 17: there have been one point one million votes. Don't think
- 28:53Speaker 17: about that. The city has grown dramatically since nineteen ninety three,
- 28:59Speaker 17: by pro will be close to a million people, and
- 29:03Speaker 17: yet the voting totals are still far less. And so
- 29:07Speaker 17: if you were to get a big turnout, that the
- 29:11Speaker 17: perils of a big turnout are that there's enthusiasm, more
- 29:16Speaker 17: enthusiasms for Mom Donni than there is anyone else, And
- 29:20Speaker 17: so a big turnout could could actually mean more Mam
- 29:24Speaker 17: Donnie voters. So I think absent a two person race,
- 29:29Speaker 17: Mam Donni looks like inevitable from this point of view.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Well, we'll see what happens. The only thing that could
- 29:37Speaker 2: change the course of things might be the debate October sixteenth.
- 29:41Speaker 17: That's true. And look, I think Cuomo has done a
- 29:44Speaker 17: better job of He's been more active and jumping on
- 29:49Speaker 17: these things with Mom Donnie. Some of the things Mamdani.
- 29:52Speaker 17: You know that the post cover today of Mamdani with
- 29:55Speaker 17: the Ugandan leader who hates gays, you have, you know,
- 30:00Speaker 17: with the whole issue of globalizing into fada. So there's
- 30:07Speaker 17: just there's just a lot. There are a lot of
- 30:09Speaker 17: ghosts or in Mom Donnie's closet, and I think they
- 30:13Speaker 17: could really hurt him, and I think Cuomo is doing
- 30:15Speaker 17: a better job of bringing them out and seizing on
- 30:19Speaker 17: it and highlighting it. So it really as a warning
- 30:23Speaker 17: to Mom Donnie voters Look, this is what you're buying.
- 30:26Speaker 17: This is this is the guy you're supporting. Really you
- 30:29Speaker 17: want this guy? Uh, particularly the young people on the left.
- 30:33Speaker 17: I mean you want to you want to get you
- 30:35Speaker 17: want to be in bed with some guy who who
- 30:38Speaker 17: who hangs around with people who hate and persecute gays?
- 30:41Speaker 17: Is that Is that what the New Revolution is about?
- 30:44Speaker 17: I don't think so.
- 30:45Speaker 3: So.
- 30:46Speaker 17: I think the question is, can mam Donnie survive what's
- 30:50Speaker 17: probably going to be a NonStop attack for the next month.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, Michael Goodwin, great stuff. You ever go read
- 30:57Speaker 2: his comments in Yesterday's New York Post. It's a on
- 31:00Speaker 2: the website about Hamas and Israel. It's a great column
- 31:03Speaker 2: and you can read them every Sunday every Wednesday in
- 31:06Speaker 2: the New York Post. Michael Goodwin, thanks for being.
- 31:08Speaker 17: With us my place for Mark.

- 31:24Speaker 2: race again. We'll get to New Jersey. We'll get to
- 31:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump and the Navy speech. Boy that drove the
- 31:30Speaker 2: left nuts yesterday. We'll get to that. Coming up. We'll
- 31:34Speaker 2: get to Portland and Chicago and more. Just ahead on
- 31:37Speaker 2: seven to ten WR.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Mark Simo, the Issues you really care about?
- 31:43Speaker 5: On seven ten WR.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Well, Hey, New York Yankees, I don't know what that
- 31:51Speaker 2: was all about. First game in Toronto is like eleven
- 31:55Speaker 2: and nothing. Second game in Toronto ninety seven and nothing
- 31:57Speaker 2: is It's like watching the New York Jets. I don't
- 32:00Speaker 2: know what the heck happened. Game three. Yankees could be
- 32:05Speaker 2: eliminated in Game three. It's tomorrow Night's not tonight, Tomorrow night,
- 32:09Speaker 2: eight o'clock at Yankee Stadium. Down two games. This is
- 32:14Speaker 2: not good, hey, Coming up in the next hour, we

- 32:45Speaker 6: Mister new George Marks amountor well, hey, we'll get to
- 32:53Speaker 6: Mark Sanchez, We'll get to Taylor Swift, We'll get to
- 32:55Speaker 6: New Jersey.
- 32:56Speaker 2: We'll get to a lot this hour. Hey, you know Friday,
- 33:00Speaker 2: they're announcing the Nobel Peace Prize. Well, this one obvious
- 33:06Speaker 2: choice here. Donald Trump settled seven wars this year. Can
- 33:11Speaker 2: you name somebody else that ended seven wars this year?
- 33:16Speaker 2: I'll wait. Even the families of the Israeli hostages are
- 33:22Speaker 2: demanding the Nobel Peace Prize for Donald Trump. Now, the
- 33:27Speaker 2: Nobel Prize is a totally corrupt award has been for many, many,
- 33:32Speaker 2: many many years. It's not going to go to Donald Trump.
- 33:35Speaker 2: It's a slanted partisan award. Remember Obama got elected and
- 33:42Speaker 2: was immediately given the Nobel Peace Prize. He didn't even
- 33:44Speaker 2: start yet, he didn't take office yet. He just gave
- 33:47Speaker 2: it to him because he's a Democrat. Jimmy Carter Nobel
- 33:51Speaker 2: Peace Prize, and it's a totally corrupt award. Look at
- 33:55Speaker 2: the greatest example is Paul Krugman got to be the
- 33:59Speaker 2: single worst economist on Earth. Paul Krugman was that bug eyed,
- 34:03Speaker 2: weirdo economist for the New York Times for many, many,
- 34:06Speaker 2: many years, and Krugman hated Trump so much that anything
- 34:12Speaker 2: Trump did. Remember when Trump took office, he said, this
- 34:14Speaker 2: will be the biggest depression stock market crash we've ever seen.
- 34:18Speaker 2: And of course he was one thousand percent wrong. And Krugman,
- 34:21Speaker 2: as an economist, wrong every time for decades. He's like
- 34:26Speaker 2: zero for one thousand. He's always always wrong. Gets the
- 34:30Speaker 2: Nobel Peace Prize, gets the Nobel Prize for Economics, gets
- 34:33Speaker 2: the Bulleitzer Prize. They just so corrupt these things, So
- 34:38Speaker 2: don't expect Donald Trump to get it. On Friday, watch
- 34:43Speaker 2: the Chicago Mayor. We'll probably get it. The mayor of Chicago,
- 34:46Speaker 2: such a dirty, sleazy guy, woke left wing kook. The governor,
- 34:52Speaker 2: same thing, Pritzker. So the left getting more and more
- 34:57Speaker 2: violent assassinations, guns, all sorts of things. They're going after
- 35:02Speaker 2: Ice in Chicago this weekend. Ice is there to arrest
- 35:07Speaker 2: illegals and take them off the streets illegals, and these
- 35:12Speaker 2: left wing cook protesters are armed and they're gonna try
- 35:16Speaker 2: to take out these Ice guys. Get out. They have
- 35:19Speaker 2: a bunch of cars. They surround the ICE vehicles. They
- 35:23Speaker 2: box them in with their cars. These left wing cooks
- 35:26Speaker 2: that are armed with guns, and ICE goes to the
- 35:31Speaker 2: calls the local police for help. The local police are
- 35:34Speaker 2: about to respond and free Ice from this trap. But
- 35:40Speaker 2: I gotta assume it's the mayor of Chicago. The order
- 35:43Speaker 2: came directly from the police chief for the cops not
- 35:46Speaker 2: to respond. They've got the audio. They've gotten a hold
- 35:50Speaker 2: of the audio. The actual dispatches, by direction of the
- 35:53Speaker 2: Chief of police, do not respond, stand down, don't help
- 35:57Speaker 2: the ICE officers, stay a couple of blocks away, don't
- 36:01Speaker 2: get involved. Now that's pretty ugly stuff. That's pretty amazing.
- 36:06Speaker 2: You got to assume the mayor was behind it, and
- 36:09Speaker 2: possibly the governor. Now this is not the end of
- 36:12Speaker 2: this Trump administration will do something to these people. You
- 36:16Speaker 2: can't do that. You can't order the cops to stand down.
- 36:19Speaker 2: So what happened is the ICE officers had to defend themselves.
- 36:22Speaker 2: They had to pull out their guns. I think they
- 36:24Speaker 2: even fired a couple of shots, defensive shots. When that happened,
- 36:29Speaker 2: then they were able to capture these people, and these
- 36:32Speaker 2: terrible democratic lunatics were armed. They found semi automatic weapons
- 36:38Speaker 2: on them. The reason they fired is a couple of
- 36:40Speaker 2: them had drawn their weapons on ice. So this is
- 36:43Speaker 2: getting just totally out of control with the left. You know,
- 36:47Speaker 2: for a party that hates guns so much, you seem
- 36:49Speaker 2: to keep using them a lot. So you're going to
- 36:52Speaker 2: have to make an exist. Joe Peshi said in the casino,
- 36:55Speaker 2: these guys are just begging to be made an example of.
- 36:58Speaker 2: You're going to have to do something. He's whoever they
- 37:01Speaker 2: gave that order to stand down not to get involved.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Federal government will have to go after them, hopefully very
- 37:08Speaker 2: very very hard. Hey, President Trump, it was the two
- 37:11Speaker 2: hundred and fiftieth birthday of the United States Navy, So
- 37:15Speaker 2: President Trump went to Virginia to speak at this ceremony
- 37:20Speaker 2: and it was thousands of naval officers, military guys. And
- 37:24Speaker 2: there was very little coverage of this because it makes
- 37:26Speaker 2: the left wing sick to watch this, you know, because
- 37:31Speaker 2: when Trump shows up at a Navy event and there's
- 37:33Speaker 2: thousands of military guys, they cheer, they give them a
- 37:36Speaker 2: standing ovation, they cheer and cheer and cheer, and they
- 37:39Speaker 2: start chanting USA. And it makes the left sick when
- 37:44Speaker 2: they hear this. Oh God, you're never going to go
- 37:48Speaker 2: a Democratic rally or event and hear them cheating at
- 37:51Speaker 2: Cheering USA USA. You'll never hear that at the Democratic convention.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So hey, the mayoral race, Mom Donnie still has a lead.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Eric Adams is out of the race, but when the
- 38:05Speaker 2: new polling comes out it will very soon. Don't expect
- 38:09Speaker 2: the Adams votes to go to Cuomo. Expect some of
- 38:11Speaker 2: them to go to Cuomo and some of them to
- 38:13Speaker 2: go to Mom Donnie. Cuomo has been trying hard this week.
- 38:16Speaker 2: He was even on with Maria Bartiromo, and every time
- 38:21Speaker 2: she asked him a question, he would talk slow like
- 38:25Speaker 2: he always does, and a hey, it's only a one
- 38:28Speaker 2: hour show, could you talk a little faster. He did
- 38:30Speaker 2: a couple of events. I think this is him on Adams.
- 38:32Speaker 7: I would like to have his support, but I have
- 38:35Speaker 7: been speaking to supporters of.
- 38:38Speaker 2: The may Yeah. Why does he do that? It's supporters.
- 38:42Speaker 2: He was speaking to supporters. It's so slow.
- 38:46Speaker 7: I would like to have a support, but I have
- 38:48Speaker 7: been speaking to supporters of the may Yeah.
- 38:53Speaker 2: So now here's the thing. There's more of this push
- 38:58Speaker 2: to have Curtis drop out. If Curtis drops out, the
- 39:01Speaker 2: votes aren't going to Cuomo. Nobody hates Cuomo more than Curtis. Well,
- 39:05Speaker 2: actually that could be a million way tie. A lot
- 39:07Speaker 2: of people hate Cuomo, but his supporters do not like Cuomo.
- 39:11Speaker 2: If Curtis drops out, the supporters drop out, they're not
- 39:14Speaker 2: going to Cuomo. It could get a couple points of
- 39:16Speaker 2: but ninety percent of them are not going to Cuomo. Now,
- 39:20Speaker 2: the debate is coming up next week. It's next Thursday night.
- 39:23Speaker 2: It's October sixteenth. Actually it'll be up against the Al
- 39:27Speaker 2: Smith Dinner, which is not going to be so hot.
- 39:29Speaker 2: This year, they got the two most boring speakers. They
- 39:32Speaker 2: must have had a contest, who are the two people
- 39:34Speaker 2: nobody wants to hear speak? So the two speakers big
- 39:38Speaker 2: Al Smith Dinner this year. Last year was President Trump.
- 39:40Speaker 2: This year'll be Anthony Blincoln and Mike Pompeo. So the
- 39:46Speaker 2: debate will be on October sixteenth, not this week, next
- 39:50Speaker 2: week Thursday Night. That's if the race is going to change.
- 39:52Speaker 2: That's where it'll change. In that debate, it's Curtis's biggest moment.
- 39:56Speaker 2: That's where he's got to wipe out Mom. Donnie Quoma
- 40:00Speaker 2: in a debate talks too slow, so he's not going
- 40:05Speaker 2: to do anything. And we've seen Cuomo try to debate
- 40:09Speaker 2: Mam Donnie. It's a disaster. That's how Mam Donnie got
- 40:12Speaker 2: the nomination. There were two debates. First debate, he just
- 40:15Speaker 2: pounded a Cuomo into the ground and Cuomo could not
- 40:19Speaker 2: defend himself. And the second debate is the Cuomo team
- 40:25Speaker 2: gave all kinds of lines, all kinds of things to say,
- 40:28Speaker 2: lines to hit Mam Donnie with, and every time he did,
- 40:31Speaker 2: Mom Donnie came back so hard and just wiped out Cuomo.
- 40:34Speaker 2: So Culoma's gonna look very weak in that debate. Mam
- 40:38Speaker 2: Donnie's a good debater, don't kid yourself. He's great in
- 40:41Speaker 2: a debate. And Curtis is a professional debater for many, many,
- 40:45Speaker 2: many years. So these two guys will look great in
- 40:47Speaker 2: the debate. Cuomo will talk too slow. Cloma's like an old,
- 40:52Speaker 2: old dinosaur politician. He's running like a nineteen eighty six campaign.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Look at the Friday Big announcement. Oh, he was so
- 41:00Speaker 2: thrilled to announce the plumbers Union has endorsed him. It's
- 41:06Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. Nobody wants to hear about these union endorsements,
- 41:10Speaker 2: and we love plumbers if I got a problem with
- 41:12Speaker 2: my sink, I'm calling a plumber. If I need to
- 41:15Speaker 2: know who to vote for in a Maile race, I'm
- 41:17Speaker 2: not asking my plumber. Nobody has ever said to their plumber,
- 41:22Speaker 2: who do you think I should vote for?
- 41:23Speaker 5: It?
- 41:24Speaker 2: The plumbers Union endorsment means absolutely nothing. Here's Curtis, He's
- 41:29Speaker 2: been doing all He's out there campaigning day and night,
- 41:32Speaker 2: every day.
- 41:32Speaker 18: I'm the only consistent candidate from beginning Dan law and order,
- 41:37Speaker 18: no cash, bail must go. We gotta keep Right Gas
- 41:40Speaker 18: Island open. So my Domian Cuomo want to close Right
- 41:42Speaker 18: Gas Island and it want no catch bail, which is
- 41:44Speaker 18: led to a disaster in New York City.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Now that's gonna come out in the debate. You know,
- 41:49Speaker 2: Cloma was trying to run as some sort of an
- 41:51Speaker 2: anti crime law and order guy. Not gonna work, Not
- 41:56Speaker 2: gonna work. Nobody was more awful on crime than Cuomo.
- 42:00Speaker 2: He created this crime wave. He's the guy that gave
- 42:02Speaker 2: us no bail, no jail. He's the guy that closed
- 42:04Speaker 2: all these prisons, let the prisoners out. He redid the
- 42:07Speaker 2: parole board, put on these left wing wackos. They let
- 42:11Speaker 2: everybody out, including forty six cop killers. So he's going
- 42:15Speaker 2: to have a very, very very rough time in that debate.
- 42:19Speaker 2: So you could be the end of Cuomo next Thursday night.
- 42:22Speaker 2: We'll see. I can't imagine he'll suddenly become a great debater.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I can't picture it. Odds are that's not going to happen. Hey,
- 42:32Speaker 2: you ever watched Bill Maher on Friday Nights. It's not bad,
- 42:34Speaker 2: it's pretty good. Bill Maher really went after Kamala Harris
- 42:37Speaker 2: and that stupid book she wrote. In the book where
- 42:42Speaker 2: she plays the victim everything, you know, everything was a
- 42:44Speaker 2: mess in that came. She made every mistake he making
- 42:47Speaker 2: a campaign. But in the book it's everybody else's fault.
- 42:51Speaker 2: As he said, the book should be called everyone Sucks
- 42:54Speaker 2: but Me. And he said she only had one hundred
- 42:58Speaker 2: and seven days to win, you know, that was the argue.
- 43:01Speaker 2: But he points out, yeah, but she had a billion
- 43:03Speaker 2: and a half dollars, an army of seventy five million
- 43:05Speaker 2: people behind her who would vote for anything that wasn't Trump.
- 43:10Speaker 2: She had endorsements from every celebrity in the world, the
- 43:12Speaker 2: backing of every president around. She lost the electoral College,
- 43:17Speaker 2: the popular vote, she lost everything. And despite her billion
- 43:21Speaker 2: and a half dollars ended up twenty million in debt somehow. So,
- 43:27Speaker 2: by the way, when he's attacking Kamala, you see all
- 43:29Speaker 2: these left wingers Van Jones sitting there kind of laughing
- 43:34Speaker 2: with him and kind of cheering them on. So forget Kamala.
- 43:37Speaker 2: She's out. Democrats have no use for her anymore. This
- 43:44Speaker 2: is bad news. This is not good news. You know,
- 43:47Speaker 2: every year when they say the Farmer's Almanac says we're
- 43:49Speaker 2: going to have a very cold winter, We're going to
- 43:51Speaker 2: have a lot of snow this winter. The good thing
- 43:53Speaker 2: is the Farmer's Almanac is always wrong. They're like ninety
- 43:58Speaker 2: two percent of time to get it wrong. So whenever
- 44:00Speaker 2: they say that, you can ignore it. This one's different.
- 44:07Speaker 2: This says expect more snow this year. This is from
- 44:10Speaker 2: acu Weather. Accu weather is the most reliable weather forecasting
- 44:14Speaker 2: service in the world. There's nobody better than acu Weather.
- 44:17Speaker 2: So we can't ignore this. They're predicting between seventeen and
- 44:21Speaker 2: twenty one inches of snow. We had thirteen inches last year,
- 44:26Speaker 2: so that's up from last year. It's still not bad.
- 44:28Speaker 2: It's still not bad. You know. Actually, our normal is
- 44:30Speaker 2: about twenty nine inches, so this is way below normal.
- 44:35Speaker 2: So that's good news. They say Buffalo will get the worst,
- 44:38Speaker 2: Buffalo ninety to one hundred inches of snow. Now, the
- 44:41Speaker 2: only good thing is ACU Weather points out that this
- 44:44Speaker 2: is a forecast and a lot of things could change,
- 44:48Speaker 2: so won't necessarily hold up. Oh hey, speaking of Bill
- 44:51Speaker 2: maher you know who was on there Bill Mahershaw is
- 44:54Speaker 2: Lewis c K Louis c K. I guess he's uncanceled.
- 44:59Speaker 2: You know, he was ca for a sexual misconduct, masturbating
- 45:02Speaker 2: in front of women. But there he was on Bill
- 45:06Speaker 2: mahersh show. They were happy to have him on audience, laughing, applauding, cheering.
- 45:10Speaker 2: He was there to promote his new book, which is
- 45:12Speaker 2: a novel. It's called Ingram, a novel. He got a
- 45:15Speaker 2: standing ovation when he came out, So I guess that's it.
- 45:20Speaker 2: He's uncanceled, you know, canceled. Culture was pretty brutal there
- 45:24Speaker 2: for a while, but looks like it may be over. Hey, oh,
- 45:29Speaker 2: this is the best story of the week. Next year
- 45:31Speaker 2: is the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, a birthday of America.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Two hundred and fiftieth birthday. President Trump has announced a
- 45:38Speaker 2: new coin will be issued next year. It's a silver dollar.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Remember they put out the JFK silver dollar. Next year
- 45:47Speaker 2: they'll put out a silver dollar with Donald Trump on it.
- 45:52Speaker 2: There will be a Donald Trump coin, a Donald Trump's
- 45:54Speaker 2: silver dollar. This is very important one for two reasons.
- 46:00Speaker 2: It'll drive the left nuts. They'll go absolutely insane over this.
- 46:05Speaker 2: This may be the breaking point. They may all end
- 46:07Speaker 2: up in asylums after. They'll go so insane over this coin.
- 46:12Speaker 2: The other thing is knowing Trump, he'll very smartly not
- 46:16Speaker 2: make enough of them, so they'll become very valuable everybody.
- 46:21Speaker 2: The first bunch of people get their hands on it.
- 46:24Speaker 2: It's a silver dollar, it'll go up in value. So
- 46:26Speaker 2: if there's not enough and you can't get one anymore,
- 46:28Speaker 2: you'll see it on eBay for twelve dollars. Then you'll
- 46:30Speaker 2: see it on eBay for three hundred dollars. Then they'll
- 46:33Speaker 2: be going for thousands of dollars. They become a valuable coin.
- 46:36Speaker 2: You know, It's like Rolex with those Daytona's. They make
- 46:39Speaker 2: very few of them, so you can't get one, and
- 46:41Speaker 2: then all of a sudden everybody has to have one.
- 46:43Speaker 2: So it will look for that next year. And if
- 46:46Speaker 2: you see it start whenever it starts, grab it right
- 46:49Speaker 2: away because it's going to go way way up in value. Hey, well,
- 46:52Speaker 2: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 46:55Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 46:58Speaker 2: two one zeros.
- 47:01Speaker 1: It's more Mark the Mark Simon Show.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I'm w r. Hey, we have a little problem in
- 47:07Speaker 2: their phones. Everybody that had a problem, call us back,
- 47:10Speaker 2: call us back. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 47:14Speaker 2: how you doing. Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 47:18Speaker 19: I noticed over the weekend that Barbara Streisan was once
- 47:20Speaker 19: again worried about the end of democracy, saying, it's only
- 47:23Speaker 19: it's only about a year left until we're not democracy anymore.
- 47:28Speaker 19: But it's interesting because if you want to go see
- 47:30Speaker 19: one of her concerts, it's not very democratic. You have
- 47:32Speaker 19: to pay like, you know, four or five grand you know, all.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Right, But in her defense, she's like eighty eight years
- 47:38Speaker 2: old whatever she is. You know, you ever have an
- 47:40Speaker 2: old relative, They sit at home all day, they get cranky,
- 47:42Speaker 2: everything's a problem, everything's a nightmare. Or you remember the
- 47:46Speaker 2: woman in Sunset Boulevard, the old lady. Yes, just this
- 47:49Speaker 2: would be like her mother streisand sitting there in Malibu
- 47:52Speaker 2: with you ever have to spent a whole day talking
- 47:54Speaker 2: to James Brolin or who she married.
- 47:56Speaker 19: Yeah, it's so pathetic though, Jane Fonda and and Rob Reiner.
- 48:01Speaker 19: It's like, meanwhile, nobody shuts him up. I mean, so
- 48:04Speaker 19: apparently we're not a fascist, you know, undemocratic.
- 48:07Speaker 2: But in their defense, they're one hundred years old. They
- 48:10Speaker 2: sit there watching ms and just see all day they're angry.
- 48:14Speaker 2: You know some people they sit there and yell about
- 48:15Speaker 2: the New York Jets and what's wrong with these people?
- 48:18Speaker 2: Yell about this stuff? So yeah, I don't worry. Don't worry.
- 48:22Speaker 2: That's what they do for fun. Let's go to Stuart
- 48:25Speaker 2: in South Carolina. Stuart, how you.
- 48:27Speaker 14: Doing, hey, Mark Kroy You you know, we've talked many
- 48:30Speaker 14: times before, and you know, I've been in a loss
- 48:32Speaker 14: for forty eight years, and I'm going to tell you
- 48:35Speaker 14: what if my administration told me not to help my
- 48:39Speaker 14: brother officers in need, I would tell them, well, you
- 48:42Speaker 14: know what, I would tell them, And if they want
- 48:44Speaker 14: to fire me, fire me, and then I'll sue the
- 48:46Speaker 14: hell out of them. How dare they tell officers not
- 48:49Speaker 14: to go to the defense of Ice who are being surrounded.
- 48:53Speaker 14: It is the most outrageous thing I've ever heard of.
- 48:56Speaker 14: And you know, the entire state of Illinois went bail
- 48:59Speaker 14: free under Pritch. I mean, here's the worst thing that
- 49:01Speaker 14: ever happened to that state.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Printzker, is that fat slob Jackie Gleason, Ralph kram
- 49:06Speaker 2: than looking the governor? Yeah, good point, Stuart, thanks for calling.
- 49:09Speaker 2: They actually told officers to not respond. Ice was being
- 49:13Speaker 2: surrounded by crazy nut Democrats with guns and semi automatic weapons.
- 49:19Speaker 2: The police were told, don't respond, Let's go to Uh,
- 49:23Speaker 2: Maureen Jackson Heights. Maureen, how you doing okay?
- 49:26Speaker 10: Mark? Mark?
- 49:27Speaker 15: I just I'm just curious. Why isn't this show that's
- 49:31Speaker 15: on after Jimmy Falla Why aren't they advertised during the day.
- 49:36Speaker 15: I'm just curious. Reason for it? What the medical show
- 49:41Speaker 15: that comes on after Jimmy Faller on wo or Jimmy Fayle, Right,
- 49:46Speaker 15: and then after the doctor show there's another show that
- 49:50Speaker 15: comes on. Usually it's about aliens and things like that.
- 49:54Speaker 2: You kind of like that Flying Saucers show.
- 49:55Speaker 15: Huh No, No, I don't know, I don't I usually
- 49:59Speaker 15: turn off Thirydeo after Jimmy Fallace.
- 50:03Speaker 2: How many years will it take you to say Jimmy Fayla.
- 50:07Speaker 15: Jimmy Faylor whatever.
- 50:08Speaker 2: It's like?
- 50:11Speaker 15: Yeah, Mandani, Well, I don't want to talk about him.
- 50:14Speaker 15: So this is why I just wanted. I was just
- 50:17Speaker 15: curious as to why these shows aren't advertised?
- 50:20Speaker 2: Can I be totally honest?
- 50:22Speaker 15: Sure?
- 50:23Speaker 2: I didn't even know what was on after Jimmy Fayler.
- 50:26Speaker 2: I didn't know myself. Thanks, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 50:30Speaker 2: to Wendy in Long Island. Wendy, how you doing.
- 50:33Speaker 4: I'm doing great, Mark. I've been listening to your show
- 50:35Speaker 4: for decades and I know you're not that old that
- 50:38Speaker 4: I am. So I have a winning line for Curtis,
- 50:41Speaker 4: I think in the debate, and if he could some No,
- 50:44Speaker 4: it's true.
- 50:45Speaker 2: I'm sure it's great.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, no, listen, no, it's going to be great.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Somehow point out that all of the social programs that
- 50:53Speaker 4: we have is because of capitalism, and without capitalism we
- 50:56Speaker 4: wouldn't be able to take care of and feed and
- 50:58Speaker 4: do the things that we need to do to the
- 51:00Speaker 4: people who need it.
- 51:02Speaker 2: All right, it's hard to fit all that on a
- 51:03Speaker 2: bumper sticker, but I'll pass it along. Tim where are
- 51:06Speaker 2: you in Long Island?
- 51:07Speaker 4: So I live in Huntington.
- 51:08Speaker 2: I love hunting hunting You ever go to Prime or
- 51:12Speaker 2: Postal Pozzo or all those great restaurants you have.
- 51:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not so much of a steak either, a
- 51:16Speaker 4: couple of times a year.
- 51:16Speaker 2: But everything seafood now, all that stuff.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it's it's awesome. It's it's like the way
- 51:22Speaker 4: maybe New York City might have been at one.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Point in time Postal Pozzo across the street, the greatest
- 51:27Speaker 2: pizza and everything, and the food is great.
- 51:29Speaker 4: It is the best of a lot of things.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Huntington. You got the paramount, you got all this great.
- 51:33Speaker 4: Oh awesome.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, very good, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 51:39Speaker 2: h Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Good morning Mark, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Mara. Mark.
- 51:46Speaker 5: This is the nine hundred pound gorilla in the room
- 51:48Speaker 5: that you touched the pond when you said that. On
- 51:52Speaker 5: the post, there's a picture of Mandami meeting with the
- 51:55Speaker 5: leader of Uganda, who believes that games should be hanged
- 51:59Speaker 5: by Jerry Pickers, Mark Mandami is a Democrat, but he's
- 52:05Speaker 5: a Muslim first. He's an Islemist first, and that is
- 52:09Speaker 5: different from being a Protestant Democrat a Jewish Democrat. They do.
- 52:15Speaker 5: The Islamists do not believe in Western values. I had
- 52:21Speaker 5: to go to my dentist last week in emergency on
- 52:24Speaker 5: Bay Parkway, in the heart of Baby Ridge, and you
- 52:29Speaker 5: see twenty year old young girls dressed in the folk
- 52:33Speaker 5: Burger in black from head to toe with hoods on
- 52:38Speaker 5: like they used to use.
- 52:39Speaker 2: That's okay, I mean, it's.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Not okay if they're treating people in this day and age.
- 52:45Speaker 5: They're treating women like chattle.
- 52:48Speaker 2: And in this kind of anti woman, that kind of stuff.
- 52:52Speaker 5: Yeah, that is anti woman, I mean. And people want
- 52:57Speaker 5: to vote for this, the Democrats in this city awards
- 53:00Speaker 5: complaining about women's rights, that so called Republicans want to
- 53:05Speaker 5: take away women's rights with the with the Islamists and
- 53:09Speaker 5: the Muslims. That's in the mix, that's baked in the cake.
- 53:14Speaker 5: Bondami may say that Trump is against queers, as he said,
- 53:19Speaker 5: which by.
- 53:20Speaker 2: The way, I don't say queers. Do we say queers now.
- 53:23Speaker 5: No, we don't. He does, yeah, but we don't use
- 53:29Speaker 5: it anymore. We say gay people.
- 53:32Speaker 2: But Vincent, there's so many more reasons to hate Mom Donny,
- 53:35Speaker 2: just the crazy socialist stuff, the left wing, yeah, which
- 53:38Speaker 2: that anti cops stuff.
- 53:41Speaker 5: Has affected Italy. Mark last week, all these kids, the
- 53:45Speaker 5: Italian brainwashed kids, shut down Italy yesterday. They shut down
- 53:50Speaker 5: the naval ports, they shut down the train station, they
- 53:54Speaker 5: shut down the highways. They were rioting with cops. Fifty
- 53:59Speaker 5: five cops had to go to the hospital. Business stopped
- 54:03Speaker 5: two times last week in Italy. And that's because politicians
- 54:07Speaker 5: like him have infected the body politics of the Italian government.
- 54:13Speaker 5: And that's what you got.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Hey, I know some people going to Italy for a
- 54:17Speaker 2: vacation next week, is it.
- 54:18Speaker 5: Well, don't go please, don't go to Rome, don't go
- 54:22Speaker 5: to Milans, go to Naples, go to copper you go
- 54:26Speaker 5: to one of the islands there where the kids can't
- 54:29Speaker 5: probably afford to pay the very fair. Last week it
- 54:37Speaker 5: was terrible. It was urban warfare there and I know
- 54:40Speaker 5: all the spots. In fact, one of the train stations
- 54:44Speaker 5: that they took over is across the street from a
- 54:47Speaker 5: luxury hotel that me and my girlfriend often went to.
- 54:52Speaker 5: There was really, really, really bad, and you could thank
- 54:55Speaker 5: the Demo. It's the worldwide democratic left, not only in
- 55:00Speaker 5: this country, across this country, across the world being funded
- 55:06Speaker 5: by SOPs like George Soros in his zilk. Don't trust
- 55:10Speaker 5: this Mondami. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's the
- 55:15Speaker 5: nine hundred pound guerrilla in the room.
- 55:17Speaker 2: All right, great, Vincent, excellent call, Thanks for calling. Hey,
- 55:20Speaker 2: when we come back, Scott Shannon, the legend. He'll be
- 55:23Speaker 2: with us next on seven to ten WR.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Give WR a Bri said on the iHeart Radio app
- 55:31Speaker 1: to hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in
- 55:34Speaker 1: an instance, go back to the Mark Simo Show on WR.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Well with us right now, the legend himself, Scott Shannon,
- 55:45Speaker 2: the greatest living DJ. Of course you can hear him
- 55:47Speaker 2: on the True Oldies channel. And great to have him
- 55:51Speaker 2: back with us. Scott Shannon, how you doing.
- 55:54Speaker 13: Mark Simone on the Big seven to ten wor Hey,
- 55:59Speaker 13: by the way, congratulations on being number one again in
- 56:02Speaker 13: your time slot. You are amazing.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Wow, Well coming from you, that's like Joe Dimagio telling
- 56:09Speaker 2: you you're a good hitter. Hey, I alse forgot you're the
- 56:11Speaker 2: voice of the Sean Hannity Show. Everybody recognizes that voice.
- 56:15Speaker 13: Sean Hannity is on right now.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Hey, Hey start Taylor Swift. How big was this debut,
- 56:23Speaker 2: this album.
- 56:25Speaker 13: Well it was the biggest news, almost the biggest news
- 56:29Speaker 13: of the weekend. She unleashed her new album, The Life
- 56:33Speaker 13: of a Showgirl, and a lot of critics thought, you
- 56:36Speaker 13: run out of gas. I'm not kidding you. I know
- 56:39Speaker 13: people who are students in that world, and they predicted
- 56:44Speaker 13: that she was on the downslope. But it turns out
- 56:47Speaker 13: she's bigger than ever.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Well she is thirty five. Isn't that like a turning
- 56:51Speaker 2: point for a pop star?
- 56:53Speaker 13: Well supposed to be, but she takes see what happens
- 56:57Speaker 13: in that world of teenagers and fans of some of
- 57:02Speaker 13: the girly kind of stars out there, they move on
- 57:07Speaker 13: to the next whoever is And with Taylor Swift, she
- 57:12Speaker 13: takes her fans with her. Now. I mean, if you
- 57:16Speaker 13: talk to a woman in her thirties, maybe even early forties,
- 57:20Speaker 13: they know who she is and a lot of them
- 57:23Speaker 13: are big fans, especially if they went to see her
- 57:27Speaker 13: on that big tour. I know people that had no
- 57:30Speaker 13: love whatsoever for Taylor Swift had to take their kids
- 57:34Speaker 13: or their grandkids to see one of those shows and
- 57:37Speaker 13: they came back a fan.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Now you've known them all, would you say she is
- 57:42Speaker 2: the smartest business wise, marketing wise, of all of them.
- 57:47Speaker 13: I gotta tell there's nobody in her category right now.
- 57:50Speaker 13: I mean you see a lot of these stars that
- 57:53Speaker 13: these young girls, they get out there, they have a
- 57:56Speaker 13: couple of hits, and then they disappear. I mean they
- 57:59Speaker 13: battled to stay you know, relevant, but it doesn't happen.
- 58:03Speaker 13: She's bigger than ever. I mean, just when they thought
- 58:07Speaker 13: she'd run out of gas, she's bigger than ever. And
- 58:09Speaker 13: on Friday she sold two point seven million albums, and
- 58:16Speaker 13: then for the whole weekend. I mean it's over the top.
- 58:19Speaker 13: And on top of that, a lot of people didn't
- 58:21Speaker 13: even know about this. She had the number one movie
- 58:24Speaker 13: and the theaters he at that.
- 58:28Speaker 2: It's not just the album. She came out with sweaters,
- 58:31Speaker 2: shirts and mittens. I mean every kind of merchandising all
- 58:34Speaker 2: in one day. It's brilliant, isn't it.
- 58:36Speaker 13: You know the rock thought he was going to make
- 58:38Speaker 13: it big with this new movie is the Smashing Machine.
- 58:42Speaker 13: He got buried. I mean this is a movie, it's
- 58:47Speaker 13: about eighty minutes long, and it's all about the new album.
- 58:52Speaker 13: And they I mean it was huge, I mean not
- 58:56Speaker 13: just in America, all around the world people went in
- 59:00Speaker 13: and see them see that thing.
- 59:02Speaker 2: When did you first meet Taylor Swift?
- 59:04Speaker 13: I met her when she was a country singer and
- 59:08Speaker 13: her dad brought her by PLJ when I was working there,
- 59:13Speaker 13: and they just the record promotion guy wanted to impress
- 59:18Speaker 13: the label and the people that they knew, you know,
- 59:20Speaker 13: Stars and Scott and Todd on PLJ, and she came
- 59:24Speaker 13: by and she played this song called Teardrops on my
- 59:28Speaker 13: guitar and it was her first hit the country, and
- 59:35Speaker 13: she brought a copy of and I had never heard
- 59:37Speaker 13: it at that point, and I asked her dad if
- 59:39Speaker 13: would be all right if we play it, and he
- 59:43Speaker 13: I thought it was going to jump up and kiss me,
- 59:46Speaker 13: you know, because no other top forty stations were playing
- 59:50Speaker 13: the song at the time, and so we put it
- 59:52Speaker 13: on and later even added it to the playlist and
- 59:56Speaker 13: that was and she always stayed in touch since then.
- 1:00:00Speaker 13: Anytime we needed an interview, she was there. Even when
- 1:00:04Speaker 13: I was working at CBSFM, she came by. We didn't
- 1:00:08Speaker 13: we don't play Taylor Swift on that station. She came
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: by and just wanted to say hi and take me
- 1:00:16Speaker 13: and it was it was great. She's a she's a
- 1:00:20Speaker 13: very special person. I mean she somehow manages I mean
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: that tour that she was on. You don't see regular
- 1:00:28Speaker 13: singers and artists go out there like she did and
- 1:00:32Speaker 13: just nail it every night. That was a very complicated,
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: behind the scenes tour to do. I mean, if you
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: if you've ever seen a video of it or anything else,
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: it's highly choreographed and there's people everywhere. You got to
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: be on your spot, they're coming out of the floor
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: and it's just and then she did the whole show,
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: I mean every night, and not just in America, all
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: around the world. She had bigger She had bigger crowds
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: in Europe than she did here because they have those
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: they have the big football stadium that see a lot
- 1:01:10Speaker 13: more people than than you know, like where the Giants
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: and the Jets play or try to play.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Well. Hey, Scott Schennon, you know all these football players.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: What the hell's the deal? What's the deal with this
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Mark Sanchez? What is he nuts?
- 1:01:23Speaker 13: Oh, that's the craziest damn story of the week. I mean,
- 1:01:27Speaker 13: this is nuts and Indianapolis of all places. I mean,
- 1:01:33Speaker 13: he's been pretty quiet, by the way. He's pretty good
- 1:01:36Speaker 13: at what he does.
- 1:01:37Speaker 11: A lot of these.
- 1:01:38Speaker 13: Jocks convert to television and they don't make it. You know,
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: they'll do a year or two and then they suddenly
- 1:01:45Speaker 13: disappear from CBS or Fox Sports. But this guy's pretty good.
- 1:01:51Speaker 13: And he was in Indianapolis to call a Raiders Colts game.
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: And I don't I mean, when they first put it
- 1:01:59Speaker 13: on the news that no, damn idea, what the hell
- 1:02:03Speaker 13: what happened? Because he was drinking in a bar. They're
- 1:02:08Speaker 13: very popular place too, it's it's a Lawmailler's Pub, and
- 1:02:14Speaker 13: for some reason, I guess it was after midnight, he
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: went wandering out of the pub and for some reason
- 1:02:22Speaker 13: he wanted to talk to this truck driver sixty nine
- 1:02:25Speaker 13: years old who was there to pick up the grease
- 1:02:30Speaker 13: from the kitchen of the hotel which is right next
- 1:02:33Speaker 13: to right near this pub. And then Mark decides he's
- 1:02:39Speaker 13: going to be a traffic director and get out there
- 1:02:42Speaker 13: and tell him he can't park or he's parking, which
- 1:02:44Speaker 13: he parks there all the time, and the whole thing
- 1:02:48Speaker 13: evolved into a fight. The guy's sixty nine years old,
- 1:02:52Speaker 13: which is not old, but it's you know, when you're
- 1:02:55Speaker 13: a six foot two, two hundred and thirty pound x quarterback.
- 1:03:00Speaker 13: You know that's a little dangerous. And the guy, to
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: make things worse, he didn't he needs a hearing a
- 1:03:06Speaker 13: but he didn't have it in because when he's working,
- 1:03:09Speaker 13: it doesn't work very well, or something like that, his
- 1:03:12Speaker 13: family said. And then there's a picture. Have you seen
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: the picture in the post today of the guy, Not
- 1:03:20Speaker 13: of Mark, but of the guy he beat the crap
- 1:03:23Speaker 13: out of And he's got he's got stitches in his
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: lip and it's all over both lips and he's got
- 1:03:30Speaker 13: a big stitch on the left side of his face.
- 1:03:33Speaker 13: I don't know how he got and I guess he
- 1:03:36Speaker 13: hit him in the mouth and it went through his cheeks.
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: And you know, you don't need to know all that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 13: But and then they say that he was so he
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: stunk of alcohol and he was slurring his words and uh.
- 1:03:51Speaker 13: And the funny thing about it when you first heard it,
- 1:03:54Speaker 13: when someone says Mark Mark Sanchez got stabbed by a guy.
- 1:04:00Speaker 13: And then they said the police arrested him, You go, what,
- 1:04:04Speaker 13: he's the victim and he's you know, he's he was
- 1:04:10Speaker 13: in that. They went to the hospital to arrest him.
- 1:04:13Speaker 13: They got him on like four or five charges. But
- 1:04:16Speaker 13: they said he was drinking. He was he was walleyed.
- 1:04:20Speaker 13: I don't know if you remember that or not, that
- 1:04:22Speaker 13: term walleye when you can't walk straight. And and the
- 1:04:26Speaker 13: police said when they interviewed him, he didn't remember what happened,
- 1:04:31Speaker 13: who stabbed him for even where it happened.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: I don't think we'll see him for a while on
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: any of this.
- 1:04:37Speaker 13: No, I don't think he's going to be the Fox
- 1:04:40Speaker 13: hasn't announced it to my knowledge, But I don't know
- 1:04:43Speaker 13: if he's going to go back on TV. But remember
- 1:04:46Speaker 13: when he was a super stud, when he was here
- 1:04:49Speaker 13: in New York playing for the Jets. Yeah, he dated
- 1:04:56Speaker 13: Kate Upton, that beautiful model, Jamie Lin Sigler. He was
- 1:05:01Speaker 13: hanging out with her, and he had a long relationship
- 1:05:04Speaker 13: with Ava Longoria on her one of her boy toys.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Hey, we only have a minute a half left. I
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: want to ask you, I hate to ask you this.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: What's what's gonna happen with the New York Yankees?
- 1:05:14Speaker 13: I got I got a question for you, A simple question.
- 1:05:18Speaker 13: Do you think anyone has ever been happier to get
- 1:05:21Speaker 13: the hell out of Canada than the New York Yankees
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: last night?
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:05:25Speaker 13: But what a his answer? Two games to play, they
- 1:05:29Speaker 13: were favored to win both of them by the you know,
- 1:05:32Speaker 13: the baseball experts. And in the two games, the Blue
- 1:05:35Speaker 13: Jays scored what twenty three runs and the Yankees scored eight.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: So what makes you think it'll be any better at
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yankee Stadium?
- 1:05:45Speaker 13: Well, it's it's their home turf, and they can't suck
- 1:05:48Speaker 13: that bad three games in a row. The game three
- 1:05:51Speaker 13: tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium, they got to win it.
- 1:05:54Speaker 13: They got a winner. They're done. Yeah, it doesn't look good, no,
- 1:06:01Speaker 13: but but they got a chance. They'll probably bounce back.
- 1:06:03Speaker 13: And I'm not saying that they're done. I'm just saying,
- 1:06:07Speaker 13: what the hell of a way to start a series.
- 1:06:10Speaker 13: But if you think about it, New York City as
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: the sports capital of the world, we got two Major
- 1:06:15Speaker 13: League Baseball teams, one of them didn't even make the postseason,
- 1:06:19Speaker 13: the others on the brink are going home. We got
- 1:06:21Speaker 13: two NFL football teams, and right now, one of them,
- 1:06:26Speaker 13: the Jets, can't beat anybody they play. They're zero to five,
- 1:06:31Speaker 13: and the other team just lost to another team that
- 1:06:33Speaker 13: couldn't beat anybody. Danny couldn't beat anybody till they played
- 1:06:37Speaker 13: the Giants.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Anyway, Well, hey, tell people where they go to hear
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: the True Oldies Channel.
- 1:06:45Speaker 13: True Oldie's Channel is on and blasting the greatest hints.
- 1:06:48Speaker 13: We played the Beatles of Stones, the Four Seasons, and Motown,
- 1:06:52Speaker 13: the songs that you can't hear anywhere else unless unless
- 1:06:56Speaker 13: you're paying for him on you know, on satellite. But
- 1:07:00Speaker 13: you can. You can just talk to your Alexa and say,
- 1:07:03Speaker 13: Alexa played a True Oldies channel, or you gonna hear
- 1:07:07Speaker 13: us on ninety two to three FM HD three which
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: is loud and clear, or I just go to Scott
- 1:07:14Speaker 13: Channon dot com gives you all the directions right there.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going with us.

- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Hannity at three, Scott Shannon, the voice of that show.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: You'll hear Jesse Kelly at six and Jimmy failor Boy
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: that's a great show. It's every night, nine to midnight
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: right here on seven ten wr more.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Mark Simone, I'm seventen wr Hey.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: So a federal judges rule Trump cannot send troops into Portland,
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: can't send the National Guard. She ruled against him. Now
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: this will get overturned at some point, and straight now
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: you got to do something about this crime in Portland. Now,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: they'll always say in the news and it was a
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Trump appointed judge. And as always point out to you,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: don't fall for that whenever they try to justify a judge, well,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Trump appointed when they say Trump appointed US attorney, Trump
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: appointed judge. Most of the time, he has no idea
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: who they are and it wasn't really his choice. In
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: cases like that, you rely on the local senators to
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: recommend names for you, and it's generally it's just customary.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: You go with whoever they approve. I mean, if it's
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: somebody New York or Washington, d C. Maybe you look
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: more carefully. But he doesn't actually select these people or
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: know who they are. We're out of time, don't go away.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Buck and Clay are coming up next. They got a
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: great show for you. Right after the news. Then Sean
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Hannity three o'clock, the most listen to radio show in America,

- 1:08:58Speaker 2: you haven't heard him. This is a really good show,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: very funny, excellent show every night nine to midnight. Jimmy
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Fala I'm here ten to noon every day. And if
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: you can't listen ten to noon or you miss the show,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: you can always get the podcast. Any place you get podcasts,
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: you'll find this show. I'll see you tomorrow at ten
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: on seven to ten, Woor
