- 0:01Speaker 1: Thirty six minutes past the hour, joining me this morning
- 0:04Speaker 1: from Liberty Council as founder and just one of the
- 0:08Speaker 1: best people that helps more of you than you would
- 0:11Speaker 1: ever know in this country. Matt's daver or Matt welcome,
- 0:14Speaker 1: How are you, sir?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Very good, good to be with you again.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Matt. Give everybody a snapshot of the Center for Medical
- 0:22Speaker 1: Progress and what Sandra Merritt and Dave Dallandoon were doing
- 0:27Speaker 1: and how it landed them in trouble in California.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yes, David de Lighten and Santa Maria, both of those
- 0:34Speaker 2: back in twenty fourteen, twenty fifteen, they got together. They
- 0:37Speaker 2: had never met each other before, but David reached out
- 0:40Speaker 2: to Sandra and they began to investigate the organ trafficking
- 0:45Speaker 2: scheme with Planned Parenthood abortion doctors and executives and then
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oregon procurement companies as they would purchase them from the
- 0:52Speaker 2: abortion clinics and then sell them to the research lasse
- 0:55Speaker 2: that was actually funded by the NIH under doctor Fauci's
- 0:59Speaker 2: director and oversight. So this particular situation resulted in a
- 1:05Speaker 2: lot of investigation. They looked at all the recording laws
- 1:09Speaker 2: and they realized that if you did a recording undercover
- 1:14Speaker 2: where the other side didn't know you were filming them.
- 1:16Speaker 2: There's an exception to the recording law if it's done
- 1:19Speaker 2: in a place where there's no expectation of privacy, like
- 1:21Speaker 2: a very heavily trafficked public place. So all of these
- 1:24Speaker 2: recordings were over dinner or at conferences, lots of people
- 1:30Speaker 2: coming to the table, lots of people around, and that's
- 1:33Speaker 2: what they did. And they sat down with these abortion
- 1:37Speaker 2: clinic doctors from Planned Parents and other executives in the
- 1:40Speaker 2: order procurement companies, and the videos were shocking. What we
- 1:43Speaker 2: found is that they were having late term abortions and
- 1:46Speaker 2: that even some of the abortion doctors. Doctor Nukotola was
- 1:50Speaker 2: changing the procedure of the abortion to grab the baby,
- 1:53Speaker 2: bringing the baby out feet first in a breach position,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and then leaving the rest of the body of the
- 1:59Speaker 2: head in side but everything outside, and then taking the
- 2:02Speaker 2: organs from the baby while the baby was still in
- 2:04Speaker 2: the mother's womb via the heads, so they would think, oh, well,
- 2:08Speaker 2: it's not an abortion because the baby hasn't taken its
- 2:10Speaker 2: first breath yet. They did that to get more intact organs.
- 2:16Speaker 2: More intact the organs, the higher the prices. Some of
- 2:19Speaker 2: these baby body parts sold for seventeen thousand dollars apiece,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and they did this over and over again. They sold
- 2:26Speaker 2: them to these they did these abortions. The women oftentimes
- 2:30Speaker 2: most of the time, they didn't know, they didn't know
- 2:32Speaker 2: their babies were being aborted. For selling their baby body
- 2:36Speaker 2: parts while they're still out in front of the abortion
- 2:38Speaker 2: clinic throwing up. They're risking these body parts off in
- 2:43Speaker 2: various express trucks to be sold. So what happened is
- 2:47Speaker 2: as a result of those videos, there was a huge backlash,
- 2:50Speaker 2: a huge outcry with what was going on with Planned
- 2:53Speaker 2: Parenthood and these abortion clinics. Kamala Harris was the attorney general.
- 2:57Speaker 2: She began to do the criminal investigation and she raided
- 3:00Speaker 2: David's house, took all of the rest of the videos
- 3:03Speaker 2: so none of them could be shown anymore. And then
- 3:06Speaker 2: Xavier Besara took over her position, and then he got
- 3:11Speaker 2: sixteen felony charges against both Sandra and David. And that's
- 3:15Speaker 2: been going on now for eight years. So just recently,
- 3:19Speaker 2: just this week Monday, after eight years of litigation, we
- 3:22Speaker 2: whittled the sixteen felonies down to about eight, but any
- 3:27Speaker 2: one of those could have sent Sandra and David to
- 3:29Speaker 2: prison for ten years. This would have been a jury
- 3:32Speaker 2: in San Francisco, a two month trial involving planned parent
- 3:35Speaker 2: and abortion, and any one of those could have been
- 3:39Speaker 2: a ten year prison sentence. So we have been defending, appealing,
- 3:45Speaker 2: litigating over and over for eight years. Very intense, highly
- 3:48Speaker 2: expensive proposition. But you know, life has no value other
- 3:53Speaker 2: than it's You can't put a value on it, and
- 3:56Speaker 2: so to have these people thrown in jail be an injustice.
- 4:01Speaker 2: On Monday, we had a dramatic breakthrough when we were
- 4:05Speaker 2: in court. The case is now over and that means
- 4:08Speaker 2: Sandra Merritt will not She's entered a plea of no
- 4:12Speaker 2: contest to one count that will be wiped away, and
- 4:16Speaker 2: then she has no jail time, no fines, no restoration.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Sandra and David are now finally finally free after all
- 4:25Speaker 2: these years, with Damicle's sword hanging over their neck. Of
- 4:28Speaker 2: the extended prison sentences.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Matt, now, what happens to those videos, what happens to
- 4:35Speaker 1: the work that they did?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Well. The interesting thing is when we went to a
- 4:40Speaker 2: preliminary criminal hearing where they decide whether they will continue
- 4:44Speaker 2: the case, we were able to show a few of
- 4:47Speaker 2: the videos, but then we went to the other case
- 4:50Speaker 2: involving plant parented in the civil the judge didn't allow
- 4:53Speaker 2: us to show any So these videos have basically been
- 4:56Speaker 2: under court order because the Kamala Harris not to be
- 4:59Speaker 2: released for the past ten years since they were produced
- 5:03Speaker 2: in twenty fifteen. But last year Marjorie Taylor Green subpoena
- 5:08Speaker 2: these videos and showed them in Congress in a congressional hearing,
- 5:12Speaker 2: and as a result of that, these videos are now public.
- 5:15Speaker 2: So we haven't been able to share most of these videos,
- 5:18Speaker 2: but now we can, and now you can see exactly
- 5:22Speaker 2: what we're talking about. The judge did not want in
- 5:25Speaker 2: these cases the juries to see these videos, and you'll
- 5:29Speaker 2: see why because they are absolutely disturbing.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I remember when they came out, they were horrific.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, they're horrific. I mean, there's one video and there's
- 5:37Speaker 2: one testimony in the case from an expert. She wasn't
- 5:40Speaker 2: an abortionist, but she was a research facility professor and
- 5:44Speaker 2: scientists out of the university in California, and she was
- 5:48Speaker 2: doing research on mice. But one day they got a
- 5:50Speaker 2: package delivery. Wasn't hers, it was one of her colleagues
- 5:52Speaker 2: sh open it up, but it was a baby beating heart.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Sandra and David spoke to her as part of their
- 5:58Speaker 2: investigation and then brought her on the stand. The state
- 6:02Speaker 2: threatened her that they would prosecute her if she even testified.
- 6:06Speaker 2: She testified anyway thanks to her bravery, and what she
- 6:09Speaker 2: said was this heart beating while it got to the
- 6:13Speaker 2: lab had to still be beating when it was taken
- 6:16Speaker 2: out of the baby. She was shocked that this would
- 6:19Speaker 2: have been extracted from a baby that was still alive
- 6:23Speaker 2: when the heart was taken out. And they did that
- 6:26Speaker 2: so that they could get higher prices for their organ procurement. Now,
- 6:30Speaker 2: some of the organ procurement companies, prosecutor in Orange County
- 6:33Speaker 2: came after them for violating state and federal laws. Some
- 6:37Speaker 2: of them went bankrupt because of the frines. Others are
- 6:39Speaker 2: still in existence. But Planned Parenthood and these doctors that
- 6:42Speaker 2: are part of this that were wearing the Planned Parenthood
- 6:45Speaker 2: abortioned his hat and the organ procurement hat and going
- 6:47Speaker 2: back and forth between the two, not a single one
- 6:50Speaker 2: of them have been charged. This is the injustice that
- 6:54Speaker 2: we see the weaponization of government. You know, Donald Trump's
- 6:56Speaker 2: talked about this, Sandra. David Lytton is an example of
- 7:00Speaker 2: California reponizing the government to protect abortion Planned Parenthood. They're
- 7:06Speaker 2: big campaign funder and try to stop pro life speech.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You know, in this case, it's not going to work.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It didn't work, and they're not going to silence or
- 7:16Speaker 2: intimidate those who want to bring out the truth.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Tell me, we've got about a minute left, Matt, and
- 7:21Speaker 1: thank you for the time, but just tell me what
- 7:23Speaker 1: you expect moving forward with this specific issue. Now that
- 7:27Speaker 1: we have a totally new administration, a new Congress, is
- 7:32Speaker 1: Planned Parenthood going to get the scrutiny that it should
- 7:34Speaker 1: have gotten all along?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah? I think Planned parent will get the scrutiny. We
- 7:37Speaker 2: had congressional inherents before because of these videos, but it
- 7:41Speaker 2: was during the Obama administration there were recommendations to go
- 7:44Speaker 2: and investigate and prosecute Planned Parents from the House and
- 7:46Speaker 2: the Senate. Now we've got a new sheriff in town, obviously,
- 7:49Speaker 2: and I think not only will Planned Parenthood be defunded
- 7:52Speaker 2: in all their abortion providers, but also more scrutiny and frankly,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I hope justice happens so that Planned Parenthood's butchery. We'll
- 8:00Speaker 2: be brought to life, brought to light and ended. And
- 8:03Speaker 2: I think now we have a great opportunity. Our team
- 8:06Speaker 2: in Marshton, DC is certainly working very hard across the
- 8:09Speaker 2: nation and certainly with the new administration on these and
- 8:12Speaker 2: other issues.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Matt, God bless you and your staff and the team
- 8:15Speaker 1: of attorneys representing people across the country. Thank you for
- 8:18Speaker 1: what you're doing well.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Thank you, Scott. Good to be with you.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Thank you, Matt Staver. And it's LIBERTYCOUNSELLC dot org. I'll
- 8:28Speaker 1: just go ahead and say we support it financially, and
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'd love for you to consider doing the same. This
- 8:34Speaker 1: is the I don't know if you heard they won again,
- 8:38Speaker 1: but there were no awarding of damages to Sandra Merritt
- 8:42Speaker 1: and David Delighton. So Liberty Counsel did this pro bono
- 8:50Speaker 1: because of donations from people like you and me. Forty
