- 0:51Speaker 2: Jeff Petty, and I'm joined by my co host, the
- 0:56Speaker 2: current reigning and defending that's right, Grill Out Predictions champion,
- 1:01Speaker 2: Josh Cole Baby. Yeah, yeah, no Jason today. Yeah, you
- 1:06Speaker 2: know he's he goes off on these undisclosed locations with
- 1:10Speaker 2: him and the and the Battie, and I don't know,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know what happens. Yeah, pretty much,
- 1:16Speaker 2: that's what I get. I just get a text that
- 1:18Speaker 2: says off the grid, and and then that's it. That's
- 1:21Speaker 2: that's all that I get. So one year for the
- 1:27Speaker 2: Grill Out. Technically, the previous episode was the one year
- 1:31Speaker 2: anniversary sort of, but this one new format today we're
- 1:35Speaker 2: gonna end this segment. We'll get there, but we'll end
- 1:38Speaker 2: this segment with on this day in wrestling History. We
- 1:40Speaker 2: will in the next segment with the main event and
- 1:43Speaker 2: then our final thoughts in the final little bit of
- 1:47Speaker 2: the show. If you have not had a chance to
- 1:49Speaker 2: go check out the grill out hot tag, we are
- 1:52Speaker 2: talking about the infamous mood to scale.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's a new year, and it is.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's a new day, yes, it is, so yeah, make
- 2:01Speaker 2: sure you go out and check that it is. It's
- 2:03Speaker 2: being uploaded at the very same time as this, so
- 2:05Speaker 2: you know, if you want to listen to it right
- 2:07Speaker 2: after this, go ahead. If you've already listened to it,
- 2:09Speaker 2: thank you. Email us the Girl Light ninety five at
- 2:11Speaker 2: gmail dot com and let us know what you think,
- 2:14Speaker 2: or message us on Facebook if you want to save
- 2:17Speaker 2: it for a later in the week. By all means,
- 2:19Speaker 2: do what you want to.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Speaking of new day, it's not a new day for
- 2:22Speaker 1: Odyssey Jones. We didn't cover that before.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was an interesting story, yeah, Odyssey Jones,
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah we didn't. We didn't cover that one too much.
- 2:32Speaker 2: There was just there was that one was pretty cut
- 2:35Speaker 2: and dry. But yeah, it was just very uh, very quick.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Odyssey Jones has been released by WWE.
- 2:41Speaker 1: They never put in an official statement, but yeah, he's
- 2:43Speaker 1: just he's going.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just well, that's true. There was never an
- 2:47Speaker 2: official statement put out. They took him off of the roster, so.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know, disappeared and they've like never referenced it since
- 2:54Speaker 1: since been like what two or three weeks now.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Pretty much he's just like like he was never there.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy because he was in a kind of
- 3:01Speaker 1: a big story too.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Exactly like he was. We even covered that a little
- 3:06Speaker 2: bit with him in the in the New Day and whatnot.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And now he is he's gone.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, poof you'd say he got the smack Down.
- 3:13Speaker 2: He did, and I'm glad you said that. In speaking
- 3:14Speaker 2: of SmackDown and new SmackDown has a new logo and
- 3:19Speaker 2: opening not this past was it this past Friday? Yeah,
- 3:24Speaker 2: this past Friday? Three iur SmackDown there. I think it
- 3:28Speaker 2: was it.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I think it was just two, but there were reports
- 3:31Speaker 1: that it was going to be three, but it was
- 3:32Speaker 1: just two.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I just I'll say this. Due to other obligations,
- 3:36Speaker 2: I didn't even get a chance to watch it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh, we have to see a tiny little bit of it.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, what did you think of the new logo.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It's interesting because SmackDown, like, ever since it first came out,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I was always had like kind of a similar logo
- 3:48Speaker 1: to the previous one. This one's actually a little bit different.
- 3:50Speaker 2: It is. It's very it's it's very modern. Yeah, I'll
- 3:54Speaker 2: say that. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm
- 3:57Speaker 2: not saying anything bad about it, but it just yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 2: it's a it's a new it is. It's a new
- 4:01Speaker 2: new logo. It is basically it's SmackDown, except like the
- 4:06Speaker 2: top is silver and bottom is blue, and.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That that part's pretty much always been the case or
- 4:11Speaker 1: like a white and blue. Yeah, but like at the beginning,
- 4:14Speaker 1: it's a big S and they have the S half
- 4:17Speaker 1: collared like two tone, Like the top of the S
- 4:19Speaker 1: is the silver bottom this is the blue and cut
- 4:21Speaker 1: out like a D.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So it yeah, yeah, yeah, something like that. I'm pulling
- 4:25Speaker 2: it up right now. Also, a Megan thee Stallion has
- 4:28Speaker 2: a performs the new theme song for smack Down that's
- 4:34Speaker 2: called never Play. So there's I've seen some people online
- 4:37Speaker 2: now they're complaining about it. I don't know, I don't
- 4:40Speaker 2: understand it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of people just want like rock or
- 4:45Speaker 1: metal for these opening songs. I mean I get it
- 4:47Speaker 1: at the I mean, hip hop works. If it's a
- 4:49Speaker 1: good song.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It is. And just like just like rock and roll music,
- 4:52Speaker 2: if the if the wrong rock song or metal song
- 4:57Speaker 2: or whatever is there, it's not gonna work out. Yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's just not ye and trust me, I think you
- 5:04Speaker 2: can you can agree with this. My musical taste was
- 5:08Speaker 2: shaped a little bit by watching professional wrestling, especially in
- 5:12Speaker 2: the early two thousands and late nineties, and it was
- 5:15Speaker 2: very rock heavy. Yeah, so like I understand, Yeah, I
- 5:19Speaker 2: understand where that comes from. But we need we need
- 5:22Speaker 2: different different things. Okay, it needs to be a little
- 5:24Speaker 2: more modern. And yes, the new SmackDown logo it is.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It says SmackDown and then the s is like sort
- 5:29Speaker 2: of a d also and then the top part is
- 5:31Speaker 2: like a white silver and then the bottom part is blue.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And now I'm like to see exactly I like it. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: I think it looks kind of cool.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You know.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It shows that this is going to be a brand
- 5:43Speaker 2: new era.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we're all is going to get a new logo.
- 5:47Speaker 1: When it goes to Netflix and maybe a new theme.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Who knows, good point, I actually actually think that might happen. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 2: And speaking of Monday Night Raw, starting on October seventh,
- 5:58Speaker 2: they will go to two hours and remain there until
- 6:02Speaker 2: they make the transition to Netflix.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Apparently that was a USA network called Don't know why,
- 6:08Speaker 1: but maybe it's.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Because you know, we're not you know, we've already had
- 6:11Speaker 2: to do this extension with you you know, no bad Blood,
- 6:14Speaker 2: but like, we're not going to and we're going to
- 6:16Speaker 2: start pulling out a little bit. We're not going to
- 6:18Speaker 2: invest a lot of time and resources into this for
- 6:22Speaker 2: that third hour. So but apparently, according to Meltzer, once
- 6:27Speaker 2: they go over to Netflix, they will go back to
- 6:30Speaker 2: three hours.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And Netflix will have commercials, yeah, which is a new
- 6:36Speaker 2: tier that Netflix is releasing. I think it's six ninety nine,
- 6:41Speaker 2: so it's five ninety nine, six ninety nine something like that.
- 6:44Speaker 2: It's very cheap, but you get commercials with your Netflix subscription.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So I don't know, I haven't had Netflix in so
- 6:51Speaker 2: long that I just kind of forget that I at
- 6:54Speaker 2: one point, I at one point had it, but when
- 6:57Speaker 2: they were starting all the rate high and all that.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I just saw more value in keeping Hulu for a
- 7:03Speaker 2: long time.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I mean I still have Hulu, Yeah, I still have Netflix.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But the yeah, the rate hikes have been annoying. So
- 7:07Speaker 1: I used to be on the top tier and then
- 7:09Speaker 1: they last time they it was the prices. I dropped
- 7:11Speaker 1: down to the one below that.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, but yeah, so Monday Night Roll will go
- 7:15Speaker 2: to two hours, and like I said, this, like what
- 7:18Speaker 2: we said, This will be until twenty twenty five. Then
- 7:22Speaker 2: Monday Night Roll will go back to three hours on Netflix.
- 7:25Speaker 2: We don't know this, this is just peer speculation, but
- 7:27Speaker 2: there could possibly be a new theme, new logo, which
- 7:31Speaker 2: only makes sense, so it most likely will happen. And then,
- 7:35Speaker 2: speaking of new themes, ww is not continuing their partnership
- 7:41Speaker 2: with Deaf Rebel. Yeah, if you do not know Deaf Rebel,
- 7:46Speaker 2: So for you old school fans out there, okay, or
- 7:50Speaker 2: you fans around, I would I if you've watched WWE
- 7:54Speaker 2: for years, not within the past, what would you say,
- 7:57Speaker 2: ten years when Jim Johnston stopped I.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Think around twenty four yeah, about ten years?
- 8:04Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, yeah, so so if you just if you've
- 8:06Speaker 2: just recently watched WW within start watching WWE within the
- 8:10Speaker 2: past ten years. You don't know about Jim Johnston.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you might have heard a couple of his teams,
- 8:15Speaker 1: like with Triple H at Rock, but that's.
- 8:17Speaker 2: About it exactly. Just know that back in this is
- 8:20Speaker 2: gonna sound so old back in the day, back in
- 8:23Speaker 2: my day, Jim Johnston would just be putting him out there. Okay, yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 2: I mean he is. He is responsible for some of
- 8:31Speaker 2: the greatest themes of all time. He's responsible for Uncle
- 8:34Speaker 2: Steve Austin's Undertakers. I think you mentioned on the show
- 8:38Speaker 2: last week he wrote the game. Yeah, then Motorhead performed it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a video of him actually like trying to
- 8:47Speaker 1: sing it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, he probably.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, they employeed Motorhead to actually record it.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Which which makes sense because Triple H. Yeah, he's a
- 8:55Speaker 2: big heavy metal guy, which.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Again he's friends was friends with the Leads.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it was unfortunately raising peace Lemmy and just
- 9:05Speaker 2: to go back to the people that are complaining about
- 9:07Speaker 2: a hip hop song being the theme of SmackDown, the
- 9:10Speaker 2: guy who is in charge of everything right now is
- 9:14Speaker 2: a heavy metal guy. Okay. His his look at one
- 9:18Speaker 2: point because he had the handlebar mustache, just like Lemmy yeah, so,
- 9:22Speaker 2: you know, a heavy metal guy is like giving the
- 9:25Speaker 2: thumbs up to you know, a hip hop song, which
- 9:28Speaker 2: again there's nothing wrong with it alone. It's actually it's
- 9:30Speaker 2: it's a good song. Yeah, leave it be, Leave it be.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But yeah, deaf Rebel no longer will be with the company.
- 9:36Speaker 2: This has come from caltaholic hollock dot com. Quote. The
- 9:40Speaker 2: most recent era of w Entrance music has been heavily
- 9:44Speaker 2: criticized by fans, with deaf Rebel being one of the
- 9:47Speaker 2: more unpopular musical partners the company has ever had. End quote.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Before this, it was CFO.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Like CFO money. The O was like in a money Son.
- 9:58Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was CFO and then
- 10:01Speaker 2: I think Jim Johnson was before them. So yeah, deaf
- 10:04Speaker 2: Rebel has taken over CFO stuff. Yeah, deaf Rebel's not
- 10:09Speaker 2: very Yeah, their music is not.
- 10:12Speaker 1: The like They've got a couple of really good ones,
- 10:15Speaker 1: but other than that, it's yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 2: What is that deaf Rebel responsible for the Bloodlines theme song,
- 10:22Speaker 2: which one even like Roman Range is one.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, he's so he did Roman Rings. I think
- 10:28Speaker 1: both versions. I believe he did like the Uncle bel Airs,
- 10:32Speaker 1: which I think is a great theme.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, thumbs up on those. Yeah, but then you for
- 10:36Speaker 2: like every one of those, you have a Johnny Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 2: Johnny Garganos was It's yeah, I'm not the not the
- 10:44Speaker 2: biggest fan of it, some of the some of the music.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I would just say this with Deaf Rebel, it just
- 10:49Speaker 2: sounds very generically yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and he always has to throw in the person's
- 10:55Speaker 1: name at the beginning.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, like we don't, we don't need that with everything
- 10:59Speaker 2: that was. And again, not to go back to Jim Johnston,
- 11:01Speaker 2: but that's the one thing about him was he he
- 11:05Speaker 2: had so many different ways of creating a theme song.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I mean, for a musical person, I can hear the
- 11:12Speaker 1: similarities between each of his theme songs he wrote. I
- 11:15Speaker 1: mean you might be able to as well, but they
- 11:18Speaker 1: were different enough that they fit the person who they
- 11:20Speaker 1: were for.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'll say, yes, I will I cannot pick up on that.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Well, It's like if you're a classic musician, you can
- 11:27Speaker 1: hear John Williams, you can hear like, oh he did
- 11:29Speaker 1: Star Wars, all he did Indiana Jones. But well you
- 11:31Speaker 1: can hear the little similarities between each film he's done.
- 11:34Speaker 2: But yeah, but the end, Yeah, you have a background
- 11:37Speaker 2: on music, so that's why your other nickname is is
- 11:40Speaker 2: the Maestro. Yeah, and so much so, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:44Speaker 2: That one of his is it the Big Big. He's
- 11:47Speaker 2: got the big gold belt replica. He's got a replica
- 11:50Speaker 2: of it, and his name plate is Maestro Cold. Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So yeah, that is another thing for him. But for me,
- 11:58Speaker 2: I have a broadcasting background. I'm done playback play. I've
- 12:01Speaker 2: done color commentary of course, host stuff like that. Just
- 12:06Speaker 2: to give us a quick transition into our next thing, BWI,
- 12:11Speaker 2: We're going to get into the five hundred in the
- 12:14Speaker 2: next segment. But they went ahead and released the top
- 12:17Speaker 2: ten play bay play and color commentators, so I'm not
- 12:21Speaker 2: going to go through every single one, mainly just the
- 12:24Speaker 2: top three for good a year. Yes, these are of
- 12:27Speaker 2: the year, same thing, it's from July twenty twenty three
- 12:30Speaker 2: to July twenty twenty four, same criteria. Number one, this
- 12:34Speaker 2: is playback play commentators number one. We'll go to Michael Cole,
- 12:37Speaker 2: which I agree with that since Vince has stepped away
- 12:42Speaker 2: and is not in Michael Cole's ear so much. In
- 12:44Speaker 2: his headset, Michael Cole has been He's able to, you know,
- 12:49Speaker 2: be a little more, be better, I'm just saying, yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 2: he's not as he's a little more natural now. He
- 12:55Speaker 2: doesn't come off like a like a mouthpiece for the company.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Still has some of those vincisms as I'll call him
- 13:02Speaker 1: in there.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But that's just ingrained in them, that is. But also
- 13:05Speaker 2: Michael Cole is I'll say this, he is such a
- 13:10Speaker 2: he's done this for so long and he is a
- 13:14Speaker 2: to me as such a good broadcaster that you don't
- 13:17Speaker 2: notice him as much. It's very hard when you've got
- 13:21Speaker 2: somebody screaming in your ear, saying stuff in your ear,
- 13:24Speaker 2: and you're trying to say what they're telling you at
- 13:25Speaker 2: the same time, and you're doing it live. I wouldn't
- 13:28Speaker 2: want Michael Cole's job. I'll just fully fully say that.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I will stick to this right here. Michael Cole followed
- 13:35Speaker 2: by ex Caliber for a w X Caliber I think
- 13:38Speaker 2: has taken off the bro the broadcast team on AEW
- 13:42Speaker 2: since Jim Raws has, you know, pulled back a lot
- 13:46Speaker 2: on these appearances, ex Caliber has sort of filled that role,
- 13:51Speaker 2: and I to me, I think he does. He does
- 13:53Speaker 2: an excellent job on you know, whichever night they throw
- 13:56Speaker 2: him on, But mainly.
- 13:57Speaker 1: He spews out some of those scripts easy. Oh my gosh,
- 14:01Speaker 1: breath it's.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, man, I bet you like when they're like,
- 14:06Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know how he does it.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And then another one who, in my opinion, is rather underrated,
- 14:13Speaker 2: is ian Ric Abonni. Ian Ric Abonni is with Ring
- 14:18Speaker 2: of Honor. He so Ring of Honor. You remember all
- 14:23Speaker 2: the Kevin Kelly stuff. Okay, Kevin Kelly at one point
- 14:27Speaker 2: was the voice of Ring of Honor. He went to
- 14:29Speaker 2: New Japan. He he did his run there between with
- 14:33Speaker 2: him and Chris Charlton and who and Chris Darlton's on
- 14:37Speaker 2: this list. He's number eight, but also Don Callous as
- 14:40Speaker 2: his color commentator. He left. Ian Ricabonni took over and
- 14:45Speaker 2: sort of I don't know, he kind of he kind
- 14:47Speaker 2: of fit that role of Ring of Honor very well.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Ring of Honor's sort of, at least in my opinion,
- 14:54Speaker 2: it's been always looked at as a super indie. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: like it's one of the super indies out there. Air
- 15:02Speaker 2: quotes and ian Ian Riccabonni it saysn't that's not a
- 15:05Speaker 2: knock on him. He just he fit that role very well.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I don't know how else to say it, so yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 2: I agree very much with the top three. After Ricabonni
- 15:16Speaker 2: is Tom Hannafan former Tom Phillips. Okay, yeah, of WWE,
- 15:22Speaker 2: he's with TNA. Corey Graves is number five for WW
- 15:26Speaker 2: top five. That's your top five, right. They're followed by
- 15:28Speaker 2: Tony Shavanni, Vic, Joseph Chris right, yes, and then of
- 15:33Speaker 2: course Shavanni is with a E W. Chris Charlton, I
- 15:36Speaker 2: just mentioned him. He's with New Japan, and I don't
- 15:38Speaker 2: know who these last who are Joe Dombrowski and Joe Gally.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I don't know them. I don't watch MLW nw A,
- 15:47Speaker 2: so sorry, don't don't. Don't get too mad with me.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You can catch the n W on the CW app
- 15:53Speaker 1: on Tuesdays, the free version do and.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. Top ten color commentators have been
- 15:58Speaker 2: released as well. Nigel McGinnis that I don't know if
- 16:02Speaker 2: you can argue too much with that one. Nageal McGinnis
- 16:05Speaker 2: has shown with it during his time with AEW that
- 16:11Speaker 2: he is very much off the cuff, He's very good
- 16:15Speaker 2: off the top of his head. He's he's just just
- 16:18Speaker 2: I mean, he'll say to some of the most out
- 16:19Speaker 2: of pocket stuff that will just get you laughing.
- 16:22Speaker 1: The current events stuff too that you won't expect.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Exactly, I would say, and don't again, don't come at
- 16:28Speaker 2: me on this. I'm not saying that he is a
- 16:33Speaker 2: Bobby the brain Heenan, but I will say he is
- 16:37Speaker 2: Bobby the Heenan esque a little bit. We'll have to
- 16:41Speaker 2: talk about Nigel later but yeah, yeah, well yeah, well
- 16:43Speaker 2: we'll we'll talk about him a little more later on.
- 16:46Speaker 2: It's Nogeal McGinnis is number one, followed by Wade Barrett
- 16:50Speaker 2: wwwe a number three, Caprice Coleman Ring of Honor. I
- 16:53Speaker 2: don't know too much about him, No, just I would
- 16:56Speaker 2: just throw that completely out there. And also, yeah, it
- 16:59Speaker 2: took me a secon. I had to pause. I was like,
- 17:02Speaker 2: I can't think at the moment. I don't have enough caffeine. Yeah,
- 17:07Speaker 2: I couldn't think of Bobby to Brainhen's name, and I
- 17:09Speaker 2: fully admit that right now. Yeah, then you have Matthew Rewalt,
- 17:16Speaker 2: who is formerly of the vaud Villains.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okay, so so he is he he was
- 17:22Speaker 1: good when he was in I think WWE doing that too.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he's kind of between him and Tom on
- 17:28Speaker 2: t Nay. They really have very good chemistry. Honestly, I
- 17:31Speaker 2: would put him above Capries because just and maybe it's
- 17:34Speaker 2: because I don't know too much about Caprice. Yeah, but
- 17:37Speaker 2: I just feel like he's just he's to me a
- 17:40Speaker 2: little more, a little more recognizable. I don't know. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 2: that's the best way. But number five Taz with aw
- 17:47Speaker 2: Number six, who is sort of a controversial take Pat McAfee. Yeah,
- 17:52Speaker 2: I think I like McAfee. I know he can be
- 17:56Speaker 2: a little on the annoying side for certain people. He
- 17:59Speaker 2: was back on West Virginia recently. He was he very
- 18:01Speaker 2: much was. He was back in West Virginia. He was
- 18:04Speaker 2: talking about the backyard brawl from yesterday. I don't understand
- 18:09Speaker 2: why Neil Brown called two timeouts in the final drive.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I still don't. I still can't figure that out. But yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 2: Pat McFee was there. He was talking about that. So
- 18:16Speaker 2: it goes Pat McFee, followed by Boker t at number seven,
- 18:20Speaker 2: Hugo sav Andovich, Triple A, number nine Vita Scott, and
- 18:25Speaker 2: then number ten Matt Minard.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Who's Vita Scott. I don't recognize them.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I don't I don't either, not a again.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Maybe they're on collision because I don't really catch collision often.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Could be, could be I don't. I don't watch collision
- 18:39Speaker 2: very much either. I try to catch wrestling the best
- 18:42Speaker 2: I can. Yes, this is what happens when you're adulting,
- 18:46Speaker 2: and when you're adulting and you have full time jobs
- 18:48Speaker 2: and you know you can't can't watch every little thing,
- 18:53Speaker 2: but I do. I, Like I said, I would put
- 18:55Speaker 2: Matthew above Caprice on that list. Maybe put Taz a
- 18:59Speaker 2: little higher. I think Pat McAfee should be higher. Maybe
- 19:03Speaker 2: a couple spots up maybe, yeah, maybe keep Tas at
- 19:06Speaker 2: five and then put Pat McAfee up there. I don't know.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I think Pat McAfee does get some unnecessary eight sometimes.
- 19:12Speaker 2: But yeah, that's that's me. That's AnyWho.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So last.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Week, as soon as the show was posted went live,
- 19:26Speaker 2: I get on Facebook and I see that First Wrestling
- 19:29Speaker 2: had an event in the Mall of America. Call It's
- 19:34Speaker 2: actually okay, yeah, but.
- 19:36Speaker 1: When I read this, I thought it meant like it
- 19:37Speaker 1: was the first Wrestling event, not that it was them.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Is called First Wrestling?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you thought I had a typo in this,
- 19:45Speaker 2: so I spelled it. So First Wrestling is spelled F one,
- 19:50Speaker 2: not Formula one but F one R S T Wrestling. Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 2: Josh thought I was an idiot. I am an idiot, but.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I just thought it was the first ever show some
- 20:00Speaker 1: years ago on this state.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, no. First Wrestling is the promotion,
- 20:04Speaker 2: And they had a show there called Saturday Night Nitro
- 20:08Speaker 2: on September seventh, last week, at the Mall of America,
- 20:11Speaker 2: just a few days past the twenty ninth anniversary of
- 20:14Speaker 2: the very first WCW Monday Nitro from the same venue.
- 20:18Speaker 2: The first Monday Nightro was on September fourth, nineteen ninety
- 20:22Speaker 2: five from the Mall of America.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Nice.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yeah, So a little bit of a little bit of
- 20:26Speaker 2: history there, and we'll get to others here in a
- 20:28Speaker 2: second last week, So I wanted to bring this up
- 20:31Speaker 2: and we can touch a little bit on this and
- 20:33Speaker 2: then finish it up in the very last segment. But
- 20:38Speaker 2: what I was seeing was a lot of people talking
- 20:40Speaker 2: about how great the venue looked with the ring there
- 20:42Speaker 2: and you have all the fans around it and everything.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Do you feel like.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It doesn't matter to the company. Do you feel like
- 20:51Speaker 2: companies should utilize spaces like that more often, like promotions
- 20:57Speaker 2: like for example, you know you have the Mall of
- 20:59Speaker 2: America or the Hammersteen Ballroom, you know, places places like that.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Do you think that maybe, I think they should, like
- 21:07Speaker 1: not all the time, but every once in a while,
- 21:09Speaker 1: DoD just like a special show like that true brings
- 21:11Speaker 1: a different vibe.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It really does. It was you know, this is this
- 21:15Speaker 2: is very w CWS. Yeah, but like that was the
- 21:19Speaker 2: thing with like w CW Hog Wild It was it
- 21:21Speaker 2: was in South Dakota. But whatever that that you know
- 21:25Speaker 2: motorcycle thing is Yeah, the final Nitro is kind of cool.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Or is that that pool or whatever?
- 21:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Like they have a ring in the middle of
- 21:33Speaker 2: a pool. Like I know it doesn't seem very practical,
- 21:36Speaker 2: but I think that, you know, I think that certain
- 21:40Speaker 2: venues like that are cool. I think that they should.
- 21:43Speaker 2: You know, I love hearing that, you know, whenever a
- 21:45Speaker 2: promotion like GCW goes to the Hammerstein Ballroom, because I
- 21:49Speaker 2: just think it's a it's a wonderful venue for professional wrestling.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's one of those random venues where you're like, wow,
- 21:54Speaker 2: that's really kind of works. Like Mall of America is
- 21:57Speaker 2: the same thing. Like you wouldn't walk in there and
- 21:59Speaker 2: go oh, so that's that's how this is okay, all right? No,
- 22:03Speaker 2: you you walk in, You're like, oh wow, this really
- 22:06Speaker 2: does look cool. Maybe I don't know, maybe it's also
- 22:08Speaker 2: an establisha thing. I also, I'll say this, speaking of venues,
- 22:13Speaker 2: talking about we talked about a little bit last week,
- 22:15Speaker 2: but Slam pause of being at the Slack Pausa with
- 22:18Speaker 2: the lights and everything, I thought was a very cool
- 22:21Speaker 2: visual and you know, being outside and not being you know,
- 22:25Speaker 2: in a and there's nothing wrong with being in an arena. Yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but I've seen my fair share of arena shows. I've
- 22:31Speaker 2: seen my fair share of stadium shows. Some of them
- 22:35Speaker 2: are cool. I think Arthur ash Stadium is a very
- 22:37Speaker 2: cool venue that does not get used for professional wrestling
- 22:40Speaker 2: a lot.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't know, Aw's only one's done it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I think they are the only
- 22:45Speaker 2: wrestling promotion that has done it. So we're gonna go
- 22:47Speaker 2: ahead and stop it right there. We are going to
- 22:51Speaker 2: go ahead and do on this day in Wrestling History,
- 23:06Speaker 2: September fifteenth, nineteen ninety five WCW. We're talking about them
- 23:11Speaker 2: a little bit. Fires Steve Austin. Austin was out with
- 23:14Speaker 2: a yes, this this aged like milk. He was out
- 23:19Speaker 2: with a triceps injury at the time when he was
- 23:22Speaker 2: Since his termination noticed via FedEx mail, Eric Bischoff, vice
- 23:26Speaker 2: president of WCW at the time, reportedly didn't see Austin
- 23:30Speaker 2: as a marketable performer. Jokes on you, Yeah, that aged
- 23:35Speaker 2: like milk. Now, of course a few things had happened
- 23:39Speaker 2: for stone Cold to become Stone Cold. He was stunning
- 23:42Speaker 2: Steve Austin at the time. So yeah, he had hair,
- 23:47Speaker 2: he did. He had hair at that point. But of
- 23:50Speaker 2: course he goes over to WWE, he becomes the ring master,
- 23:52Speaker 2: and then eventually he just shaves the rest of his
- 23:54Speaker 2: head and he's like, hey, you know. Then Stone Cold
- 23:58Speaker 2: slowly started to on.
- 24:00Speaker 1: The key of the ring basement gamestone quote.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Then exactly the infamous well famous inflaus Have you look
- 24:06Speaker 2: at Austin three sixteen line. September fifteenth, nineteen ninety eight,
- 24:11Speaker 2: Jacqueline defeated Sable on Monday Night Rawl to win the
- 24:15Speaker 2: vacant WWF Women's Championship, the first champion since the belt
- 24:19Speaker 2: was infamously thrown in the trash by Medusa on WCW Nitro. Then, finally,
- 24:27Speaker 2: on September fifteenth, twenty nineteen, WWE presented Clash of Champions
- 24:33Speaker 2: pay per View. The Clash of Champions pay per View
- 24:35Speaker 2: in a unique situation seth Rawlins and Bronze Sherman went
- 24:38Speaker 2: into the event as defending rawl Tag Champions, but also
- 24:42Speaker 2: had to face each other for Rawlins's universal title. In
- 24:46Speaker 2: the main event, the team of Robert Rude and Dolph
- 24:49Speaker 2: Ziggler catteds Yes captured the tag titles from the battling duo,
- 24:54Speaker 2: and Rawlins successfully defended against Stroman the only other time tied.
- 24:59Speaker 2: The only their title change saw the Revival dethrone the
- 25:02Speaker 2: New Day for the SmackDown tag titles.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I wonder what they Revivals doing to day. I don't know.
- 25:07Speaker 2: I don't know they actually they I saw something between
- 25:11Speaker 2: them and the Outrunners one collision, I saw something. So
- 25:15Speaker 2: again they put off the same kind of vibe.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Have you seen the Outrunners? I have.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I've seen some of the vignettes.
- 25:20Speaker 1: They're very much an eighties throwback, very much. They were
- 25:23Speaker 1: actually at a proest and conquest recently. Oh wow.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Okay, see there you go locally. That's a local show.
- 25:29Speaker 2: We'll get to that in the next segment. We're gonna
- 25:31Speaker 2: stop it right there and when we come back, we
- 25:33Speaker 2: will have the p w I five hundred at the
- 25:35Speaker 2: top five and just our thoughts on it. Stay tuned.
- 25:44Speaker 2: It's time for one of the grill out here Hollywood
- 25:46Speaker 2: sept pet Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen to the grill Out.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I am your host, Hollywood, Jeff Patty, and I'm joined.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I am joined by the current reigning and defending Grill
- 26:03Speaker 2: Out Predictions champion. Yeah, Josh cole bybe.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Yeah, gets a little at the top.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I'm sure it does. I'm sure it does. Well you
- 26:14Speaker 2: look down on the rest of us peasants. Anyway. So
- 26:18Speaker 2: PWI released their annual Top five hundred, the p WI
- 26:22Speaker 2: five hundred. The criteria for that, I said it in
- 26:25Speaker 2: the previous segment. I'll say it again. It is from
- 26:27Speaker 2: July twenty twenty three to July twenty twenty four. Okay,
- 26:32Speaker 2: that is the criteria we are looking at. We talked
- 26:34Speaker 2: about this is the crazy thing about us being doing
- 26:37Speaker 2: this for a year. I remember remember last year when
- 26:39Speaker 2: we were talking about this same subject.
- 26:42Speaker 1: So I remember seeing Tyris on like whatever number he
- 26:46Speaker 1: was being above other people.
- 26:48Speaker 2: What. Yeah, I don't know, Well, you know what I
- 26:50Speaker 2: got it pulled up. We'll see where tyros.
- 26:52Speaker 1: If he ranks, I don't even know has he been
- 26:55Speaker 1: performing in this year?
- 26:55Speaker 2: I don't think so we'll see. So, yeah, I got
- 26:59Speaker 2: the top five hundred pulled up right here. I'll go
- 27:01Speaker 2: ahead and give you the top ten, and I agree
- 27:04Speaker 2: with most of it. Yeah, keyword, most of it. Number one,
- 27:08Speaker 2: Cody Rhoades, number two, Swere of Strickland, number three, will
- 27:12Speaker 2: Osprey number four, Seth, I'll say it, Frickin' Rawlins, seth
- 27:17Speaker 2: Rawlins number five, Tests of Unito number six, Damian Priest
- 27:21Speaker 2: number seven, MJF number eight, John Moxley number nine, Gunter,
- 27:27Speaker 2: and number ten Mystico. That is the top ten for
- 27:31Speaker 2: the PW PWI five hundred.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Thoughts might move going through up a little bit. I'm
- 27:42Speaker 1: trying to remember who Mystico is.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Mystico used to be. I don't know if it's the
- 27:46Speaker 2: same it's it was at one point, Sinkara, Okay, but
- 27:50Speaker 2: I don't know if it's the same, simp.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I don't think it is.
- 27:53Speaker 2: So hold on, you go ahead. I'm looking. We have
- 27:56Speaker 2: computers in front of us. Yeah, let's see.
- 28:00Speaker 1: MJF. I don't I mean he missed like a few months,
- 28:06Speaker 1: so it's it's hard for me to want to place
- 28:08Speaker 1: in that high.
- 28:09Speaker 2: True.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I mean, granted, he did do well from July last
- 28:12Speaker 1: year to December as being world champion, but I don't
- 28:16Speaker 1: know if i'd play still place in that high. Yeah,
- 28:19Speaker 1: maybe still top ten, but maybe closer to the ten spot. Uh.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Let's see. I can't really say much on Tetsi and
- 28:27Speaker 1: Nito because I don't really watch New Japan other than
- 28:29Speaker 1: when they collaborate with ADW. Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I like Naito. I don't think you should be that high,
- 28:36Speaker 2: mainly because New Japan, and this may just be me.
- 28:41Speaker 2: New Japan to me now does not have the same pull,
- 28:45Speaker 2: the same influence that New Japan had. Say back in
- 28:48Speaker 2: twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, Yeah, that I would I would
- 28:52Speaker 2: not argue against because I think Kazusko Kada was number
- 28:55Speaker 2: one one of those years, so I wouldn't argue with
- 28:58Speaker 2: that whatsoever. But Tetsuo Nito being that high, I think
- 29:02Speaker 2: he should be in the top ten, but I don't
- 29:05Speaker 2: think he should be in the top five. I'll say
- 29:07Speaker 2: that top ten, but not top five.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I think if Rawlins did not get injured and could
- 29:12Speaker 1: have been more consistent this year's like twenty twenty four,
- 29:16Speaker 1: maybe in the number four spot, but I'd probably bump
- 29:18Speaker 1: him down a little bit because he did miss a
- 29:19Speaker 1: lot due to injury. But I mean his time in
- 29:22Speaker 1: twenty twenty three as world champion was great. Like if
- 29:26Speaker 1: he had that same amount of time or active time
- 29:30Speaker 1: this year as he did last year, Yeah, I think
- 29:31Speaker 1: numberfore we could spot for him. Yeah, but I'd probably
- 29:33Speaker 1: bump him down in a couple of spots just because
- 29:35Speaker 1: of his.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Hot off he had, true, true, true, I'm seeing right now.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Mystico is is Sinkara, the formerly.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Known the Real Sinkara.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I think so, let's see debut in nineteen ninety eight.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Mistico Da Da Da Da, better known by his renamed Mistico,
- 29:58Speaker 2: is a Mexican lutrador or a mass wrestler. I don't
- 30:01Speaker 2: I can't pronounce all the words. He who currently works
- 30:06Speaker 2: for CMLLL, where he is the current NWA World Historic
- 30:10Speaker 2: Middleweight Champion in his first reign. He also makes appearances
- 30:14Speaker 2: for Partner Promotions AW and Major League Wrestling, where he
- 30:17Speaker 2: is the current MLW World Middleweight Champion in his first reign.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Initially working as Mystico, he later signed with WW, where
- 30:25Speaker 2: he was known under the name Sincara. Upon his return
- 30:28Speaker 2: to Mexico, he worked under the name missitizit Ina before
- 30:36Speaker 2: settling on the ring name Charistico. Upon returning to CML
- 30:41Speaker 2: in twenty fifteen and twenty twenty one, he regained the
- 30:43Speaker 2: Mystico name due to his successor and tag team partner
- 30:47Speaker 2: Mystico two leaving CMLL. So it looks like that. Yes,
- 30:54Speaker 2: it is the formerly known as Sincara, So yeah, they
- 31:02Speaker 2: don't have his pw I thing up here yet, but yeah,
- 31:06Speaker 2: so number ten is Sinkara Mystico. It's Mystico now. But yes,
- 31:10Speaker 2: for you WW for people that have only seen him
- 31:13Speaker 2: seen him in w W, Yeah, I don't watch too
- 31:16Speaker 2: much muchador wrestling.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Those who have seen him in WW. There were two Cincars,
- 31:21Speaker 1: but I'm pretty sure this is the second one, right,
- 31:24Speaker 1: I think the first one actually the first okay, because yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: there's a real one in a fake when I can't remember.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Which, Yeah, this one, this is the the Cincara that Okay,
- 31:32Speaker 2: let's I guess.
- 31:33Speaker 1: They're both the real ones. But who portrayed him rather.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah this is now, this is the O G. Sankara. Yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 2: this is this is who he is because there was Yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 2: there was a feud with the other Sinkara, So yeah.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Terris and Kelly's in w A Champions Like n W
- 31:50Speaker 1: has like titles and a couple of other promotions. Kind
- 31:52Speaker 1: of here is do they still like recognize them as
- 31:55Speaker 1: does the n w A today still recognize those titles
- 31:58Speaker 1: or are they just kind of there? I don't know.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I mean, let's get Billy Corgan on the phone, yeah
- 32:02Speaker 2: and ask him. Yeah, I don't know. Uh. Gunther, I
- 32:07Speaker 2: fully agree should be higher up this list. He had
- 32:11Speaker 2: a hillacious reign with the Intercrime title. I mean he
- 32:15Speaker 2: just wasn't Yes, he's very hot now and and I
- 32:18Speaker 2: know that the criteria for this ended what a couple
- 32:21Speaker 2: months ago, so you know, is what it is. But
- 32:24Speaker 2: I still think Gunther should be up higher.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And his favorite wrestler, gold Bird.
- 32:30Speaker 2: The fact he said that the Brett sorry Brett sorry, Yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 2: so yeah, Gunter should be up higher. I fully agree
- 32:41Speaker 2: with the top four. The top four. I don't have
- 32:44Speaker 2: any any arguments with Seth. Rollins has sort of been
- 32:48Speaker 2: the workhorse that WW has needed. He's pretty much filled
- 32:51Speaker 2: in the gaps that Roman left, and that's not a
- 32:54Speaker 2: knock on Roman. He just he doesn't wrestle as much
- 32:57Speaker 2: as he used to. He's he's sort of he has that,
- 33:01Speaker 2: he has that Brocklessner thing. Now, Yeah, he comes in
- 33:04Speaker 2: on special occasions, which you know, hey, you get up
- 33:07Speaker 2: that eye, up the cards, you put in that much work,
- 33:09Speaker 2: you rightfully deserve it. I'm not gonna argue with that.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Will Ospray, he's you know, he was easily the in
- 33:17Speaker 2: North America and over in Europe. He was the West
- 33:21Speaker 2: pretty much. He was the more recognizable name out of
- 33:23Speaker 2: New Japan than he comes over to AW. And he
- 33:26Speaker 2: has kind of been on a tear over in AW
- 33:30Speaker 2: with all of the you know, with everything that he's
- 33:32Speaker 2: been doing there. Swear of Strickland. I've been saying it, yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 2: I have been saying that he is top ten, top five,
- 33:37Speaker 2: top three, now top two.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Actually Osprey's I'm not convinced. I'm like, he's good, but
- 33:45Speaker 1: sometimes I don't care for some of the stuff he does.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Like he sometimes knows sales stuff like it's nothing.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I get that. Yeah, yeah, so what maybe Rollin's in
- 33:54Speaker 2: front of Osprey just switched those two around.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Possibly, I don't know.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Put so okay, do you agree with Cody being number one.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I think it's up between him and Swerve. It's yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: he's been great. He's basically worked horses like Rollins was,
- 34:16Speaker 1: but like his reign since wrestling up to when this
- 34:20Speaker 1: would ended, it's been kind of yeah.
- 34:23Speaker 2: But he him and Swerve had the same thing after
- 34:27Speaker 2: they won the title. Yeah, their their rains became kind
- 34:30Speaker 2: of man after that, it was more of the chase,
- 34:32Speaker 2: yeah than the actual uh than the actual rain. Yeah,
- 34:37Speaker 2: I would. I'll say this, and this is my argument
- 34:39Speaker 2: for Cody bing number one. He won the the undisputed
- 34:43Speaker 2: title in April. Yeah, Swerve didn't win his until June.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It was April. Wait, no, no, Dynasty, Yeah yeah, it
- 34:54Speaker 1: was right after what Yeah, because wrestleming. It was early
- 34:58Speaker 1: April when Dynasty was like.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Check it, yeah, we got computers.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Dynasty was like late April, are you
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm it may have been.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I know that that was when when they when aw
- 35:11Speaker 2: came through town. I did get a sweet shot of
- 35:15Speaker 2: Swerve looking at the Dynasty. Okay, so Cody won his
- 35:19Speaker 2: early April, Swerve won his late April. Codyill Cody still
- 35:26Speaker 2: has his title, Yeah, but Swerve just recently lost his
- 35:30Speaker 2: so he still was champion when the criteria ended.
- 35:36Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Maybe it's because Cody is just I don't know. I'm
- 35:42Speaker 2: okay with it.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Maybe it helps said where WWE is so hot right now,
- 35:46Speaker 1: and that's that's what I was getting ready to say.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't exactly know where he's at
- 35:52Speaker 1: merchandise was, but he's probably up there as one of
- 35:54Speaker 1: the top.
- 35:54Speaker 2: And ww that's true. And again I've been screaming it
- 35:59Speaker 2: on the show about yeah, like top ten in the world.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I will I will keep saying that, and it's validated
- 36:08Speaker 2: right there exactly. I was right. I wasn't right about
- 36:13Speaker 2: other predictions that I made for this year. And we'll
- 36:16Speaker 2: get to that in December. Oh yeah, yeah, we're gonna
- 36:19Speaker 2: bring all its back.
- 36:21Speaker 1: About the World Champion part though.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, I got I got a I think I
- 36:24Speaker 2: got a couple right.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got a couple right too, but a couple
- 36:27Speaker 1: wrong as well. Yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we got to got our fair share right and wrong.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Number eleven. First person outside of the top ten is
- 36:35Speaker 2: Samoa Joe. Okay, so goes samo Joe at eleven. Sammy's

- 37:36Speaker 2: Oh wow, yeah, you were very close on that one.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I would well, he yeah, number yeah.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I think that's a decent spot because he really became
- 37:45Speaker 1: popular here in the last like five or so months.
- 37:48Speaker 2: That's why I was goaring to say, really in the
- 37:50Speaker 2: past month. Yeah, like the past couple of months, he
- 37:53Speaker 2: has gotten like he's been on fire. Yeah, with with

- 39:09Speaker 2: seventy two.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Obafemi on there he faced Hammerstone this past week,
- 39:13Speaker 1: was it?
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, I'm I'm still looking. I'm only in the

- 40:11Speaker 2: don't know about that. Good, but I don't know who
- 40:14Speaker 2: was he.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Before he was Hologram. I don't know. Yeah, no idea,
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's a because he he just like what a month
- 40:22Speaker 1: or two ago debuts Hologram.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so I don't I don't know who who is Hologram.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I know the wrestler, but who is behind the mask?

- 40:54Speaker 2: of Flip.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I haven't heard from Flip Gordon since all in the
- 40:58Speaker 1: original in Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Three thirteen is where he's ranked. Shelton Benjamin three eighteen, he.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Was Aramis, Hologram was Aramis, and he uh was in
- 41:12Speaker 1: Triple A okay, and the International Wrestling Revolution Group. He was.
- 41:18Speaker 1: He also participated in an event for a Pro Wrestling
- 41:21Speaker 1: Gorilla okay.

- 41:38Speaker 1: past weekend.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he was,
- 41:41Speaker 2: he was. We we talked about it last week.
- 41:43Speaker 1: So I'm looking at Holgram's Wikipedia page, which I mean,
- 41:47Speaker 1: so it stops his early career at twenty nineteen and
- 41:50Speaker 1: then there's nothing until his signing until All Lead Wrestling.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So it's like, uh, okay, I don't know, I'm sure
- 41:56Speaker 1: there's more there.
- 41:57Speaker 2: But fabe k fabe yo at four fifty six. Wait,
- 42:03Speaker 2: she's on the men's list or well, no, remember last year,
- 42:06Speaker 2: so you do have the PWI women's two fifty yeah,
- 42:10Speaker 2: but like they make it seem like they're separate, but
- 42:13Speaker 2: there's women that will pop up on the p WI
- 42:15Speaker 2: five hundred, which doesn't make this. It doesn't make a
- 42:18Speaker 2: whole lot of sense at that point, because why would
- 42:21Speaker 2: you not integrate both of them?
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I don't understand understand that at all. And I could
- 42:29Speaker 2: be looking over somebody, I very much could. I mean,
- 42:31Speaker 2: there's five hundred names here, Yeah, number five hundred Memes
- 42:35Speaker 2: also known as blue Cane. He can't call himself blue
- 42:38Speaker 2: Cane anymore, dude, to copyright reasons. But that's number five hundred.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Notable let's see, Okay.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Notable exclusion Tyrus.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I don't see Tyrus anywhere, Jason, if you're listening to this,
- 42:54Speaker 2: Tyrus ain't on here. Can't find them? GPA, I don't
- 43:00Speaker 2: know who GPA is four thirty. Okay. That's the other thing,
- 43:05Speaker 2: Like what like looking at this list? It's always fun
- 43:07Speaker 2: to find like names. I don't know who this is.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It's just a funny name, just a funny funny name.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Is this the PW I like staff?
- 43:18Speaker 1: Who does this? Or is like Vandodd? Okay, it's the
- 43:20Speaker 1: p SO.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I listened to them. They were on a busted Open
- 43:26Speaker 2: radio last year talking about it, and what it is
- 43:30Speaker 2: is a bunch of them get together like a bunch
- 43:31Speaker 2: of the journal like wrestling journalists get together and they
- 43:34Speaker 2: hash out this list.
- 43:36Speaker 1: That'd be crazy. That's a lot of wrestling to have
- 43:39Speaker 1: to watch.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, well, I guess what it is is like
- 43:42Speaker 2: a lot of people they bring their own like preset list,
- 43:46Speaker 2: and they just kind of hash them out. At that point,
- 43:48Speaker 2: it really gets into contest contesting, like it gets kind
- 43:52Speaker 2: of harry when you get to the top ten. That's
- 43:55Speaker 2: when people apparently start voicing their opinions like this is
- 43:58Speaker 2: why I want this person here, especially the number one
- 44:00Speaker 2: spot like that one gets argued about a lot.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I'm sure the fact it's like, okay, yeah, there's a
- 44:05Speaker 1: lot of wrestling. There's also a lot of wrestling that
- 44:07Speaker 1: we don't even know about or haven't seen. It's like,
- 44:09Speaker 1: I wonder if they even get into that.
- 44:11Speaker 2: You ever heard of Big Fudge?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Nope? Four two.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Big Fudge? Let's see, Uh yeah, I don't. I don't
- 44:22Speaker 2: know Alex Cologne, that the Sunny Kiss three seventy two. Yeah, no,

- 44:33Speaker 2: Mike three sixty three, let's see Ricky Starks three fifty two. Okay,
- 44:38Speaker 2: let's see Dirty Dango three forty four.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Oh that's fandang. Okay, yeah, yep, I'm glad you pointed
- 44:46Speaker 1: that out.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see. Uh yeah, I don't Jack Cartwill three
- 44:51Speaker 2: twenty seven. We're not making fun of We're not making
- 44:55Speaker 2: fun of your names. It's just the tuck Man. I
- 44:58Speaker 2: don't know what that is three twenty three. Oh yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 2: kill Switch three seventeen. Let's see Carry and Cross three twelve,
- 45:07Speaker 2: Malcolm Monroe the third three ten, Storm Grayson three oh eight,
- 45:14Speaker 2: Rhino three oh seven.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Huh he'll be uh we he's actually gonna be coming
- 45:19Speaker 1: up in the main event. We're gonna mention him. Oh yeah, yeah.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Xavier Woods two ninety nine, Tom Lawler two ninety five.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Let's see got copy Kingston Lance Archer two seventy five,
- 45:35Speaker 2: Jonathan Gresham two seventy six, Great o'conne two seventy two. Yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 2: it's Eddie Edwards two fifty six, Austin Theory two fifty seven,
- 45:48Speaker 2: Johnny Gargano two fifty nine. Yeah, I mean there's uh yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 2: I don't know. Uh this is yeah, this is a
- 45:56Speaker 2: big list put together, like there's a lot of like
- 46:00Speaker 2: you've got to watch. We be'st thing on this show.
- 46:03Speaker 2: We love for wrestling, like the three.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Of us do.
- 46:05Speaker 2: That's kind of when when the three of us were
- 46:07Speaker 2: in college together. That's kind of what brought us together
- 46:10Speaker 2: was professional wrestling, especially you and I when we were
- 46:13Speaker 2: with good old Life Bridge AmeriCorps. Yeah, don't do it. Yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 2: something like that. Shout out to Life Bridge AmeriCorps.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Don't do it, do AmeriCorps. Don't do AmeriCorps. Do AmeriCorps.
- 46:29Speaker 2: But don'tn't wear don't wear that logo anywhere but on
- 46:33Speaker 2: your job.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Site's job.
- 46:37Speaker 2: What is it called service site? Yeah, job, I haven't
- 46:41Speaker 2: I haven't done it in six years. So but yeah,
- 46:46Speaker 2: like there, you've got to watch a lot of wrestling.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I'll love for wrestling. But I've also mentioned on the
- 46:53Speaker 2: show about my love for NASCAR and you know, like
- 46:57Speaker 2: football and stuff. So and we're getting ready to go
- 47:00Speaker 2: into playoffs for the for baseball season. So I mean,
- 47:03Speaker 2: I watch That's what I mean. I watch it. I
- 47:05Speaker 2: catch it where I can.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 2: So yeah, uh, but yeah, you've got to be got
- 47:13Speaker 2: to be dedicated Shane Taylor.
- 47:16Speaker 1: It's like, hey, you got WWE three four times a
- 47:19Speaker 1: week a W three four times a week, might be
- 47:21Speaker 1: four because it's new Shockwave.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah, allegedly there's.
- 47:24Speaker 1: A there's a new show and you got t n
- 47:27Speaker 1: A r O h n W A new Japan or
- 47:30Speaker 1: uh et cetera, et cetera. It's like, that's a lot
- 47:33Speaker 1: of wrestling. Plus they're going like indie stuff too.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and and again we're not knocking anybody, you know,
- 47:38Speaker 2: go for it just a lot, it is. It is
- 47:40Speaker 2: a lot. I know that Ivy would probably want to
- 47:42Speaker 2: leave me set their head. Wrestling on the television all
- 47:47Speaker 2: the time. Sometimes I do, but there's other times I don't.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But I mean, and I'm not knocking anybody that does it.
- 47:57Speaker 2: That is like this. Don't get me wrong. We do.
- 47:59Speaker 2: We love professional If we did it, we wouldn't. The
- 48:01Speaker 2: show wouldn't even be a thing. Trust trust me, the
- 48:05Speaker 2: show wouldn't be a thing if we didn't like it.
- 48:09Speaker 2: There's somebody out there listening to that, laughing because they
- 48:11Speaker 2: know exactly what we're talking about. Yeah. Jake Something one
- 48:14Speaker 2: forty seven, Mike Santana won forty six, uh, Frankie Kassarian
- 48:20Speaker 2: one thirty. AJ Francis one twenty six, Heroicic Godo won
- 48:26Speaker 2: twenty styles. Let's see Jeff Cobb won twenty one a

- 48:31Speaker 1: I know he is. He hasn't done a whole lot.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I'm just curious because he's been off of it.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Goshi Azaki eighty two, he's with Pro Wrestling, Noah MANX
- 48:41Speaker 2: Warner seventy nine. He does a lot of local shows
- 48:44Speaker 2: around here.

- 48:49Speaker 1: think it was at Conquest recently.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Yeah, Congrest does good stuff. I mean that's the thing.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Also around here, there's a lot of good wrestling there,
- 48:55Speaker 2: really is, all right. So that's the BWI five hundred.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Let's see Jack Perry fifty nine, AJ Styles fifty six,
