Yesterday morning, scanner traffic was a little bit scary when we heard that a six-year-old male at Morrill Elementary was unresponsive after having seizures. The call came in at 8:07 a.m., active seizure, not responding to medical staff. Multiple pages went out to local EMS before Regional 16 and 2 both arrived around 8.26 a.m. Finally, after 40 minutes of unresponsiveness, the young boy woke up and was talking to medical personnel.

Just after 1 p.m., a traffic stop in Scottsbluff around 11th and 5th Avenue occurred where a taser was deployed on the subject. Regional 1 responded and…
