AlterNet reports that Richard Painter, George W. Bush’s former chief White House ethics lawyer, called the Trump family’s business activity “1,000 times worse” than Hunter Biden’s. He was responding to a Financial Times investigation that documented at least 18 meetings between Donald Trump Jr. or Eric Trump and foreign politicians or officials since January 2025, alongside an expansion of Trump family business interests during President Donald Trump’s second term.
