- 0:01Speaker 1: Yo, what it do?
- 0:02Speaker 2: We are back again the grounded show your feel me
- 0:07Speaker 2: your boy less Sanchez, Quincy Jama Joe for an.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Easy man another day, another dollar?
- 0:18Speaker 2: What I feel that?
- 0:19Speaker 4: Man? One?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:22Speaker 2: One O one? Yeah, no, no, one O two? Right,
- 0:26Speaker 2: didn't we even Yeah, I'm tripping up with the wrong thing.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I was about to say one on two. Then that's
- 0:31Speaker 1: how one to one.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I was like, hey, yeah, I'm like, lie, man, it's
- 0:36Speaker 2: been a it's been a whirlwind bro, the last few
- 0:41Speaker 2: weeks and just everything ever going on. Dog, I don't
- 0:44Speaker 2: even know left is right? You know what I'm saying.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Just holding on for dear life. It'd be funny, man.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Something that uh we've talked about is like when you're
- 0:56Speaker 2: going through like problems that it's like it's a situation
- 1:00Speaker 2: that you wish that you would be in, but then
- 1:02Speaker 2: like you don't remember it like while you're in it,
- 1:05Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like you remember your old
- 1:07Speaker 2: set of problems and you're like, damn, bro, I'm chilling
- 1:09Speaker 2: right now.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like this this problem may not think you
- 1:14Speaker 3: compare to the problem I was having five years ago.
- 1:18Speaker 5: You know what, I go ahead, I was thinking today
- 1:22Speaker 5: like it was just I left my workout, and I'm like,
- 1:25Speaker 5: you know, despite me being forty, you know, as long
- 1:29Speaker 5: as I keep myself out there to try my best, like,
- 1:31Speaker 5: I still got time to fix all my problems that
- 1:34Speaker 5: I swear I have to fix today, you know. And
- 1:38Speaker 5: it's sometimes you think it's the end of the world
- 1:41Speaker 5: and you're running out of time, but the same time,
- 1:43Speaker 5: you got to just chill, just put a plan in place,
- 1:46Speaker 5: start working on it.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So another thing that I kind of I have realized
- 1:51Speaker 2: lately is sometimes that feeling that you have, like where
- 1:55Speaker 2: you're kind of unsure or you're you kind of feel
- 1:58Speaker 2: like you're in a funky places, like because you're transitioning
- 2:01Speaker 2: out of a stage, you know what I mean, So
- 2:03Speaker 2: you're like settling into like a new normal slash like
- 2:08Speaker 2: a new routine that's different from your old thing. Like
- 2:11Speaker 2: it's funny because it's even kind of seeped into my
- 2:14Speaker 2: music because lately I've been like I haven't been uninspired
- 2:18Speaker 2: to create music. I haven't been uninspired to be around music,
- 2:22Speaker 2: to be in the studio to work on stuff. Like
- 2:25Speaker 2: I've been having like three sessions a week, like probably
- 2:28Speaker 2: like for the last I don't know, at least like
- 2:31Speaker 2: three four months, you know what I mean, where like
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm actually linking up with people, you know where where
- 2:37Speaker 2: if it's here in my studio, if it's at another studio.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's just consistently working with different people, like just staying
- 2:45Speaker 2: on it and the other side of the music stuff
- 2:49Speaker 2: has been kind of like on my mind and just
- 2:52Speaker 2: I'm kind of trying to figure out how to move
- 2:54Speaker 2: forward as far as like just simple things visuals when
- 2:59Speaker 2: it drops, how to promote it, like all this stuff,
- 3:02Speaker 2: and I'm just having like a real awkward kind of
- 3:05Speaker 2: battle with it, you know what I mean. And recently
- 3:08Speaker 2: I just thought about it, like, man, you know, I'm
- 3:12Speaker 2: transitioning too, like another stage in life, so like I
- 3:15Speaker 2: can't approach the rollouts and the looks and all that
- 3:21Speaker 2: stuff the same. Like I got to have that reflect
- 3:23Speaker 2: like the changes that I'm going through too, you know
- 3:25Speaker 2: what I mean. And I feel like that's kind of
- 3:27Speaker 2: like the little piece of what I'm doing wrong as
- 3:31Speaker 2: far as figuring out how to move forward with certain
- 3:34Speaker 2: songs and certain things that I'm working on. It's like
- 3:36Speaker 2: I'm kind of trying to put it inside that template
- 3:40Speaker 2: of how I've been doing it as opposed to saying, Yo,
- 3:43Speaker 2: I'm going into like a different stage. Let's make a
- 3:45Speaker 2: new plan for it. You know.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm on that type of wave. And I don't
- 3:50Speaker 5: know if you have caught the little message they sent
- 3:52Speaker 5: the chat last week, no facts, and it's like, you know,
- 3:56Speaker 5: remember we talked about this before moved the Vegas, I
- 3:59Speaker 5: mean for him move back from Vegas.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And it's like, yo, I get to set up.
- 4:02Speaker 5: This routine and I get to do this and I
- 4:03Speaker 5: get to do that, and like six weeks later, I
- 4:06Speaker 5: was like, wait a minute, it's not It's not what
- 4:09Speaker 5: I expected it to be at all. I didn't take
- 4:13Speaker 5: account factors that come into play when.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm actually here. And I was like, all right, like no,
- 4:19Speaker 1: this is completely different.
- 4:22Speaker 5: So I, you know, transition into something I thought I
- 4:26Speaker 5: was going to bring Vegas here, adapt and I'm good.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's like no, no, no, no, no, I got.
- 4:32Speaker 5: To reevaluate, bring it all back, you know, and really
- 4:35Speaker 5: think about how I'm breaking to do this. And I'm
- 4:37Speaker 5: glad I realized it's seven seven months into living here
- 4:41Speaker 5: rather than seven years into living here.
- 4:44Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying, Like I got time.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I got time, to still figure this out, but it's
- 4:48Speaker 5: definitely like coming to that realization that stop. Yeah, reevaluate,
- 4:54Speaker 5: think of a better way to do it, and move
- 4:57Speaker 5: forward with that.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Well, I mean, at least you were able to to
- 5:00Speaker 3: recognize it something, you know. I think that's really the
- 5:03Speaker 3: most important thing, is being able to like kind of
- 5:05Speaker 3: recognize when something's not one what you expected it and
- 5:10Speaker 3: two it doesn't feel like where you.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Wanted to feel.
- 5:13Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, It doesn't feel right, you know,
- 5:15Speaker 3: So being able to recognize is important.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I figure who was that said it? And phrase
- 5:21Speaker 2: it this way, But it's course correcting, you know what
- 5:23Speaker 2: I mean. Like as you're going, you're just making little
- 5:26Speaker 2: adjustments and then you know, optimizing the flow and optimizing
- 5:30Speaker 2: the flight, you know what I'm saying, Just making sure
- 5:32Speaker 2: that everything is where it needs to be, and you're
- 5:34Speaker 2: always analyzing and never falling asleep at the wheel, you know.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Yeah, And I'm sure two three years from now, I'm
- 5:40Speaker 5: probably gonna do it all over again too. Yeah, maybe
- 5:43Speaker 5: even sooner. But it never stops. I don't think it
- 5:47Speaker 5: ever stops. You get your certain point in life state.
- 5:50Speaker 5: That's why I had I've seen a lot of homies
- 5:53Speaker 5: this week and that I haven't seen a long time.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And it's like never been this age before.
- 5:57Speaker 5: We've never dealt with the proles we dealt with today
- 5:59Speaker 5: before at this age, with the problems we got, with
- 6:02Speaker 5: the mentalities we got. So there's nothing to really compare
- 6:06Speaker 5: you for this except prepare you to be ready to
- 6:11Speaker 5: tackle it.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Mhmm. Facts, Yeah, man, some some things that's been in
- 6:20Speaker 2: the news lately. As we kind of get into the
- 6:23Speaker 2: stuff we've been talking about this week, Yo, it's funny, man,
- 6:28Speaker 2: because just aside from anything, like not even just talking
- 6:31Speaker 2: about the situation at all, a little funny thing that
- 6:35Speaker 2: I found out of this Michael Rubin Breakfast Club interview
- 6:40Speaker 2: and kind of like the backlash to what he said
- 6:43Speaker 2: is like I know some people said it, but I
- 6:45Speaker 2: feel like it wasn't as a big thing. It's like,
- 6:49Speaker 2: what is like what he phrased it as black hate
- 6:52Speaker 2: on hate? Like that that don't even make sense, black
- 6:57Speaker 2: hate on hate, Like that's not even like a like
- 7:01Speaker 2: you know what I mean, like black hate on black hate?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Is that what he was.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Trying to say? Like you know what I mean? Like
- 7:05Speaker 2: it just it was funny to me that like the
- 7:08Speaker 2: way he phrased it. Everybody knew exactly what he meant,
- 7:11Speaker 2: but it didn't make any sense exactly.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And that's how you know what he was saying was factual,
- 7:15Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Because it's like what he
- 7:18Speaker 3: said made no sense, but exactly what he was trying
- 7:23Speaker 3: to say. That's why, bro, Like, yeah, I don't know.
- 7:27Speaker 3: For me, it's like, you know, basically, first off, before
- 7:31Speaker 3: we even get into it, kind of a breaking down.
- 7:36Speaker 2: To it, all right, bet, yeah, I got you.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I got it here.
- 7:39Speaker 2: So basically, Michael Rubin was on the Breakfast Club. He's
- 7:42Speaker 2: the guy that kind of was made famous to us
- 7:45Speaker 2: because he was an owner of the Sixers, and but
- 7:50Speaker 2: before that, the thing that got him to that point
- 7:52Speaker 2: was basically fanatics is him. He started like selling like
- 7:56Speaker 2: sports stuff like that, like from very very young and
- 7:59Speaker 2: just kind of built empire off that. He got a
- 8:02Speaker 2: very interesting story.
- 8:03Speaker 1: But he was one of the white parties.
- 8:06Speaker 2: He's also the guy those are all white parties, and
- 8:08Speaker 2: he was the guy that was very instrumental kind of
- 8:11Speaker 2: in getting Meek mil out of jail because like he
- 8:13Speaker 2: was one of the big you know, to be fraying
- 8:17Speaker 2: big white voices white billionaire voices that was talking about
- 8:21Speaker 2: something that nobody, you know, no white billionaire was going
- 8:24Speaker 2: to talk about before, you know what I mean, Like
- 8:26Speaker 2: he had a special interest just because he had a
- 8:29Speaker 2: relationship with Meek Mill and it led him to kind
- 8:32Speaker 2: of get involved in that. And he was on the
- 8:34Speaker 2: Breakfast Club just promoting Fanatics Fest, which was I don't
- 8:37Speaker 2: know if y'all heard about that, that that looked like
- 8:39Speaker 2: it was super dope. Basically it was like, so Fanatics
- 8:43Speaker 2: has rights now for like a lot of stuff like WWE, MLB, NFL, NBA,
- 8:49Speaker 2: just as far as a peril and things they're selling.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And then they ended up buying one of the card
- 8:55Speaker 2: companies and they're starting to put out cards like basically
- 8:59Speaker 2: Mike Yeah, trading cards like but they have rights, you
- 9:03Speaker 2: know what I mean. Like the thing about cards that
- 9:04Speaker 2: makes them valuable is like if you have the rights
- 9:07Speaker 2: from the organizations to be able to actually put the
- 9:09Speaker 2: logos on it, like to make them official, right, because
- 9:12Speaker 2: there's a lot of unlicensed cards out there where you
- 9:14Speaker 2: could find like an autograph of like a super Dope
- 9:17Speaker 2: player or rookie card or something like that. But the
- 9:20Speaker 2: reason why it's cheap is because it's an unlicensed product,
- 9:23Speaker 2: you know what I mean. It's almost like if you
- 9:25Speaker 2: designed the card yourself and got somebody to sign it,
- 9:27Speaker 2: Like the value is just going to be whatever, you know,
- 9:31Speaker 2: whatever somebody deems the value is, and you're You're a
- 9:34Speaker 2: random person, so they're not going to valuate that high,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know. So basically that was a tangent. But anyway,
- 9:42Speaker 2: he was on the Breakfast Luve promoting Fanatics Fest where
- 9:44Speaker 2: he had just different athletes from different sports. They're doing
- 9:47Speaker 2: q and as and autodraft signings, they were selling stuff.
- 9:51Speaker 2: It was like an experience. It's basically like a comic
- 9:53Speaker 2: comba for sports. So he was promoting that and they
- 9:58Speaker 2: were just asking him about like, like you was alluding
- 10:01Speaker 2: to Joe the all White parties, you know, the rumors
- 10:05Speaker 2: that swirl from like the pictures and videos that come
- 10:08Speaker 2: out from them. You know, the different stuff like you know,
- 10:10Speaker 2: him making meat mail Bunny Hop in a video. You
- 10:15Speaker 2: know them little weird hugs they be giving each other
- 10:17Speaker 2: in the videos and pictures and stuff like. So they
- 10:21Speaker 2: were just kind of asking him about that, and he
- 10:23Speaker 2: started off saying, basically like he don't even understand where
- 10:25Speaker 2: the meat Mal gay stuff is coming from because he's
- 10:27Speaker 2: like that guy. He's like, there's nothing wrong with gay people,
- 10:30Speaker 2: but meet Mal don't have a gay owner in his body.
- 10:32Speaker 2: That's basically what he was saying. And then the next
- 10:34Speaker 2: thing he said is like, that's that's the one thing
- 10:37Speaker 2: I've learned about you know, like I'm just being blunt
- 10:39Speaker 2: because it's me. It's the one thing I've learned about
- 10:41Speaker 2: Black culture that I don't like is that black hate
- 10:44Speaker 2: on hate. And basically he kind of said it as
- 10:47Speaker 2: a throwaway comment, but then he said it again later
- 10:50Speaker 2: in the interview, and then Charlomagne was like, expound on
- 10:53Speaker 2: that because I heard you say it earlier and I
- 10:54Speaker 2: wanted you to break it down then. And basically he
- 10:57Speaker 2: was just saying like that he feels like in black community,
- 11:01Speaker 2: like black people hate on each other and like kind
- 11:03Speaker 2: of tear each other down. And it kind of led
- 11:05Speaker 2: into so I'm gonna say on my side of it,
- 11:09Speaker 2: and then I'll throw it to you. Quincy's like it
- 11:10Speaker 2: kind of just led me to talk about it with
- 11:12Speaker 2: my wife a little bit, because like we're both business owners,
- 11:16Speaker 2: we're both dealing with like people face to face, and
- 11:19Speaker 2: we always notice that whenever somebody finds out we're Puerto
- 11:23Speaker 2: Rican and they're Puerto Rican, it's like at that point
- 11:27Speaker 2: they no longer want to treat us professionally. And at
- 11:30Speaker 2: that point it's like, give me a deal, let's let's
- 11:32Speaker 2: do it, you know, kind of like a mom and
- 11:34Speaker 2: pop kind of way. But you see them, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 2: going to white people, black people, and they'll just accept
- 11:41Speaker 2: whatever that person tells them. They're like a perfect customer
- 11:44Speaker 2: or whatever. But as soon as they find out you're
- 11:46Speaker 2: Puerto Rican, it's like, nah, bro, you're the homie, Like
- 11:49Speaker 2: we're not gonna respect you. You're just gonna give it
- 11:51Speaker 2: to us for the low and we're gonna be out
- 11:53Speaker 2: of here, you know what I mean. So, like I
- 11:56Speaker 2: say that to say I feel like I don't know
- 12:00Speaker 2: other communities, but that's definitely something that I've seen in
- 12:02Speaker 2: my community as well. Like people definitely just get this
- 12:06Speaker 2: kind of thing in them where it's like they feel like,
- 12:08Speaker 2: because you guys are from the same island, for some reason,
- 12:13Speaker 2: you owe something. And it's like, bro, like you you
- 12:17Speaker 2: should hold me higher than somebody else, if anything, because
- 12:21Speaker 2: we're coming from a similar place and we understand each
- 12:24Speaker 2: other on a deeper level than other people would understand
- 12:26Speaker 2: each other. So you should be happy to put money
- 12:28Speaker 2: in my pocket, you know what I'm saying. So it's
- 12:31Speaker 2: like it's something that I that I can't stand, you
- 12:34Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, and it definitely does happen. So
- 12:36Speaker 2: I'll go ahead to Quincy Jones speaking directly on the topic.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You know. Yeah, So basically for me, the way I
- 12:44Speaker 3: saw it, kind of first off, to address it from
- 12:46Speaker 3: the Micael Ruben standpoint. You know, we as a culture,
- 12:51Speaker 3: like we can look at somebody like Donald Trump and
- 12:55Speaker 3: call him a racist and call him all these things,
- 12:59Speaker 3: and you know, people would just eat it.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 13:02Speaker 3: It is what it is. We can look at so
- 13:05Speaker 3: many different things, like as black people and pick at
- 13:09Speaker 3: it and if it's true, it'll stick, you know.
- 13:11Speaker 1: What I mean.
- 13:11Speaker 3: But the moment that you know, and I mean I
- 13:14Speaker 3: probably get a lot of slack for this, but it
- 13:15Speaker 3: is what it is because it's true. The moment that
- 13:17Speaker 3: anybody outside of black culture speaks on Black culture, it's
- 13:21Speaker 3: immediately like, oh, you don't know what you're talking about.
- 13:24Speaker 3: You shouldn't be saying that. You can't say this, You
- 13:26Speaker 3: can't say that, And it's like, bro, if it's true,
- 13:29Speaker 3: it's true. Like the way I see it, he was
- 13:32Speaker 3: absolutely correct, you know what I'm saying. The fact that
- 13:34Speaker 3: he had to apologize for it to me is like ridiculous,
- 13:38Speaker 3: you know what I mean, And like I could speak
- 13:41Speaker 3: from personal experience, you know what I'm saying, Like I
- 13:44Speaker 3: can tell you how who I was cool with when
- 13:46Speaker 3: I was dirt poor. I could tell you who fell
- 13:48Speaker 3: off when I got to minimum wage. I could tell
- 13:51Speaker 3: you who fell off to when I got to you
- 13:53Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, an average salary. I could tell
- 13:56Speaker 3: you who fell off to when I got slightly above
- 13:58Speaker 3: average salary. Every step of the way, there was friends
- 14:01Speaker 3: that turned into haters that were black for no reason,
- 14:05Speaker 3: Like I would have gave them the shirt off my back.
- 14:07Speaker 3: But you know what I'm saying, like they just things changed,
- 14:11Speaker 3: you know what I mean, And all of a sudden
- 14:13Speaker 3: it came with the hate and it's the crabs and
- 14:14Speaker 3: the barrel mentality. And to go to your point, Lester,
- 14:17Speaker 3: you know, I feel like a lot of times, you know,
- 14:21Speaker 3: like us, you know, me as a black person, you
- 14:23Speaker 3: as a Hispanic person. We deal with like certain things
- 14:28Speaker 3: where it's just the crabs in the barrel. If you
- 14:31Speaker 3: look at the Asian culture, they work together so well overall.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I'm not gonna speak to them one hundred percent. I mean,
- 14:37Speaker 3: obviously every race is going to have their people that are,
- 14:40Speaker 3: you know, haters within their own culture. But I just
- 14:43Speaker 3: see that that it happens.
- 14:45Speaker 1: In black culture a lot.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I mean, look at how many rappers have been killed
- 14:50Speaker 3: just coming out of their situation and being slightly successful,
- 14:54Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Like I mean, and then
- 14:58Speaker 3: on top of that, think about social media, bro, Like,
- 15:01Speaker 3: what gets the most engagement. Nine times out of ten,
- 15:04Speaker 3: it is somebody making fun of somebody, you know what
- 15:07Speaker 3: I mean and looking on their downfall, Like that's the
- 15:10Speaker 3: things that people are laughing at, and that's the things
- 15:13Speaker 3: that are getting people most engaged. It's just part of
- 15:16Speaker 3: the culture. So what he's saying is facts, you know.
- 15:20Speaker 3: So it's like to be mad at him for saying it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I get it.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe if jay Z said that, you would have
- 15:25Speaker 3: listened a little bit more.
- 15:26Speaker 2: But if his facts is facts, See, I like that
- 15:30Speaker 2: you said that because my initial gut reaction to what
- 15:34Speaker 2: you're saying is like, I feel what you're saying, but
- 15:37Speaker 2: I don't feel like it's his place to speak on it,
- 15:39Speaker 2: especially when nobody even asked him to speak on it, Like,
- 15:42Speaker 2: you know what I mean, he volunteered it. It's like, bro,
- 15:45Speaker 2: that's not your place to talk about But at the
- 15:47Speaker 2: same time, nobody was talking about it before he said
- 15:51Speaker 2: it exactly, you know what I mean.
- 15:53Speaker 3: On top of that, On top of that, I mean,
- 15:55Speaker 3: who are we to say it's not his place? How
- 15:57Speaker 3: many black people came to that all white party? Mm,
- 16:01Speaker 3: you get what I'm saying. Who are we to say
- 16:03Speaker 3: it's not his place when it's what he's seeing every day.
- 16:07Speaker 3: He has the biggest sports were our biggest but one
- 16:10Speaker 3: of the biggest sports companies, you know what I'm saying
- 16:12Speaker 3: in the world, and most of the sports contain black people.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's what I was going to say.
- 16:18Speaker 5: You know, he's dealing with hip hop and sports with
- 16:22Speaker 5: this is majorly black dominated industries exactly.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So it's like, oh, he.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Sees firsthand how they treat each other and it's a
- 16:31Speaker 5: lot of it that goes down.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yep, it's crazy, bro. I think there is something to
- 16:39Speaker 2: what you said, though, Quincy, because I deal with a
- 16:43Speaker 2: lot of South Americans, Mexicans, you know what I mean,
- 16:48Speaker 2: just because of like my business, you know what I mean,
- 16:50Speaker 2: I'm setting people up with like basically like whenever you
- 16:54Speaker 2: start in a business, all the branding and everything, Like
- 16:56Speaker 2: I've done that for so many companies. And it's a
- 16:59Speaker 2: thing where it's like you see the people that are
- 17:03Speaker 2: coming and you seeing even the mentality of how they're
- 17:06Speaker 2: thinking when they're even pulling up, you know what i mean,
- 17:09Speaker 2: Like I see how Puerto Rican people come and how
- 17:12Speaker 2: they kind of execute their a to z as far
- 17:16Speaker 2: as getting their business set up versus like a Mexican Guatemalan,
- 17:21Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And I gotta say Mexicans
- 17:24Speaker 2: for sure, Bro, they get here. They start as like
- 17:28Speaker 2: a long guy for a company. In six months he
- 17:31Speaker 2: got his own law maintenance company. Six months after that
- 17:34Speaker 2: he got guys working for him. I know, six months
- 17:37Speaker 2: after that he got five trucks. You know what I mean,
- 17:39Speaker 2: Like I'm not seeing Puerto Rican people do that. You
- 17:43Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. Like
- 17:45Speaker 2: it's a thing where it ain't a stereotype if it's true, dog,
- 17:49Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And unless you're trying to
- 17:52Speaker 2: you know, seriously look at yourself and say, you know,
- 17:55Speaker 2: we messing up. You know what I mean, Like if
- 17:58Speaker 2: nobody wants to realize that, uh, we're gonna be stuck
- 18:01Speaker 2: for a long time.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Bro.
- 18:03Speaker 3: And that's my quote to it. Man, It's like, don't
- 18:05Speaker 3: hate the messenger if the message is true until we
- 18:08Speaker 3: do what it takes to make it untrue. You know
- 18:11Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 18:12Speaker 5: Facts, uh, and it and it all depends on the industry.
- 18:18Speaker 5: And that's why you're when like, for instance, in the industries,
- 18:21Speaker 5: like like the executive industries. That's why well, personally, for me,
- 18:29Speaker 5: people of color in my industry, the key key and
- 18:33Speaker 5: peel sketch, and well Barack Obama did when he shakes
- 18:39Speaker 5: the white people hand, and when it's the color person,
- 18:41Speaker 5: he taps him.
- 18:42Speaker 1: He knows the struggle and he knows with it.
- 18:45Speaker 5: And I'm telling you, I I never realized I do
- 18:48Speaker 5: it until my manager went from a white person to
- 18:52Speaker 5: a color person.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So now when I see my white people management.
- 18:59Speaker 5: I shake their hands formally they doing, so everything's all good.
- 19:03Speaker 5: But then when my color people come in, my guy,
- 19:06Speaker 5: what's good with you?
- 19:08Speaker 6: And everything's the.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Difference, Like we could be real with each other.
- 19:11Speaker 5: We know what it took to get there, and it's
- 19:13Speaker 5: not like we got to fake the funk because we
- 19:17Speaker 5: understand that that process that it took to get who
- 19:20Speaker 5: you are and have to act a certain way for
- 19:22Speaker 5: them to accept you.
- 19:25Speaker 1: And I think the same thing for them.
- 19:27Speaker 5: So just because you get invited to Mike Rubin party
- 19:31Speaker 5: and or you know, you did certain things to build
- 19:33Speaker 5: your business, uf, there's certain things you had to do
- 19:35Speaker 5: to get there, and it's not just gonna be giving
- 19:37Speaker 5: to you without you get you know, working to get
- 19:39Speaker 5: to that spot.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And it kind of even goes into something I
- 19:43Speaker 2: was saying last week as far as people speaking on
- 19:46Speaker 2: stuff that they don't nothing about, you know what I mean,
- 19:48Speaker 2: Like unless you come from that struggle and you really
- 19:50Speaker 2: like know what that experience was, like, you can immediately
- 19:54Speaker 2: see it in somebody else if they really about it
- 19:58Speaker 2: or not, you know what I mean. Like that's something
- 20:00Speaker 2: that me and Quincy talk about with like our experiences
- 20:03Speaker 2: and the music too, Like just moving around, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 2: everybody want to have a mentality like well we're from
- 20:10Speaker 2: the hood, you know what I mean. But then when
- 20:12Speaker 2: you're moving around and you're really around people and seeing
- 20:14Speaker 2: what they're about. Like, it's really easy to see who's
- 20:17Speaker 2: really about it because you can't fake like a real experience,
- 20:20Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like if you're not catching
- 20:23Speaker 2: the references, if you not, if you just not, if
- 20:26Speaker 2: you don't got the feel for for the thing that
- 20:29Speaker 2: you're talking about, bro, it just sticks out like a
- 20:31Speaker 2: sore thumb, you know what I mean. Like you're never
- 20:34Speaker 2: gonna get away with we're trying to act like you
- 20:37Speaker 2: something you're not, because somebody that's really about it, no
- 20:40Speaker 2: matter what it is, Bro, they're gonna smell you out.
- 20:42Speaker 1: That's what you can't.
- 20:43Speaker 5: But I don't act the way around me like I
- 20:45Speaker 5: know who you are, I know where you're from, facts
- 20:48Speaker 5: around me.
- 20:49Speaker 2: That's like the easiest way like for me to like
- 20:54Speaker 2: put somebody in that box. You're like, all right, bro,
- 20:56Speaker 2: you're gonna stay real far away from me because as
- 20:59Speaker 2: soon as I feel like they trying to relate or
- 21:01Speaker 2: something bro like that, that's that thing to me, Bro,
- 21:04Speaker 2: like that insincere trying to relate thing where they trying
- 21:09Speaker 2: to make it seem like you're on you know, they're
- 21:13Speaker 2: just gonna try to figure out your vibe and try
- 21:15Speaker 2: to get on your wavelength right away, Like, bro, that
- 21:17Speaker 2: thing is that's so fake. As soon as somebody's on that,
- 21:21Speaker 2: it's like, nah, bro, I have colleagues like.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Oh, you play Call of Duty, give me your gamer tag?
- 21:26Speaker 5: Like yeah, he ain't never gonna get an invite from me,
- 21:29Speaker 5: but here's my gamer tag right right.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And it's like there's just and it's something that I've
- 21:39Speaker 2: noticed with one of the newer people that I've been
- 21:41Speaker 2: working with. It's like a homie of mine that's kind
- 21:44Speaker 2: of done music in like a playful way, but now
- 21:46Speaker 2: it's actually trying to lay stuff down. And he has
- 21:50Speaker 2: like a synthesizer, so that's kind of like how he
- 21:52Speaker 2: got into it. And he came over like once we
- 21:55Speaker 2: kind of talked about like what kind of music he
- 21:57Speaker 2: was trying to make. The next time came over, we
- 22:00Speaker 2: actually started trying to like cook up and get familiar
- 22:04Speaker 2: with like the elements of the cookup, you know what
- 22:07Speaker 2: I mean as far as like how we can start
- 22:09Speaker 2: working on something. You know, we just kind of built
- 22:13Speaker 2: the chemistry like that, so we get to like the
- 22:17Speaker 2: sixth seventh time that we link up, and then finally
- 22:20Speaker 2: we were able to put together a beat that was dope,
- 22:23Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like where it was actually
- 22:24Speaker 2: like all right, cool, like we both dig this. This
- 22:28Speaker 2: has some good sounds, like you know what I'm saying
- 22:30Speaker 2: something that we're proud of. And I told him, I'm like, bro,
- 22:33Speaker 2: a lot of people don't even get to this point
- 22:35Speaker 2: when it comes to like music or just like hobbies
- 22:37Speaker 2: and stuff like that. It's like if it don't work
- 22:39Speaker 2: in the first or second try, they're onto the next
- 22:42Speaker 2: thing or they're just like, oh man, I suck at
- 22:45Speaker 2: this or oh man, like you know, they think everything
- 22:48Speaker 2: is just like it's just gonna click right away, and
- 22:51Speaker 2: it's like nah, bro, Like for you to really get
- 22:53Speaker 2: good at something, you got to go through the dirty stages.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Dog.
- 22:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So the people you want you want to.
- 23:03Speaker 5: You see potentially and you're given that, you're give them
- 23:06Speaker 5: that advice, you know, if you didn't care. Like I said,
- 23:08Speaker 5: there's a bunch of things that I say to people
- 23:10Speaker 5: that I care about.
- 23:11Speaker 1: There's a bunch of that I don't say to people
- 23:13Speaker 1: that I don't care about.
- 23:14Speaker 5: It's like, but if you see someone really trying, and
- 23:18Speaker 5: you know, like there's potential that you're getting that advice,
- 23:20Speaker 5: like it's gonna take if it's gonna take you some
- 23:22Speaker 5: work to get there, and you got to put that
- 23:26Speaker 5: work in.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, facts man's And that kind of goes perfectly into
- 23:34Speaker 2: like the next topic. And it was like almost right
- 23:36Speaker 2: on Q. This was a headline, like after the Michael
- 23:39Speaker 2: Ruban interview, because you got Hurricane Chris. Everybody that's old
- 23:45Speaker 2: like us remembers Hurricane Chris. A baby, that's all your facts.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So he's a Louisiana artist and fifty cent recently bought
- 23:58Speaker 2: a lot of property in Shreveport, luis Guiana and kind
- 24:00Speaker 2: of like cut a deal with the government there to
- 24:03Speaker 2: get some tax breaks and stuff just to create a
- 24:05Speaker 2: movie studio in Louisiana. Like you know, it's going to
- 24:09Speaker 2: bring a lot of money to the to the state,
- 24:11Speaker 2: bring a lot of money to the city. You know,
- 24:13Speaker 2: it's going to give them something that you know is
- 24:16Speaker 2: going to make them a destination. Like you know, he's
- 24:19Speaker 2: doing a lot for Louisiana by setting up there, you
- 24:22Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like, Yeah, there's incentive in it
- 24:25Speaker 2: for him, but also he don't got to do it.
- 24:27Speaker 2: He put he's putting up his own money to do this,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So Hurricane Chris basically went
- 24:34Speaker 2: on his social media and was like down in fifty cents, saying, oh,
- 24:39Speaker 2: you're not booking any of like the legends from the city.
- 24:41Speaker 2: He named a couple guys and then he know, yeah, yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 2: Like he named a couple guys and named himself and
- 24:48Speaker 2: then named some guys from like other cities like Boosy,
- 24:51Speaker 2: you know, because he's from Baton Rouge. And he's like,
- 24:54Speaker 2: you ain't paying no Louisiana rappers, but you paid the
- 24:57Speaker 2: police half a million dollars. Now the context of that
- 25:01Speaker 2: is the event that fifty cent hell, which is like
- 25:05Speaker 2: a whole weekend in Louisiana. I mean, I believe the
- 25:11Speaker 2: venue held three thousand people. Okay, so keep in mind
- 25:15Speaker 2: three thousand people for the for the things I'm in
- 25:18Speaker 2: the name, it doesn't make sense. Like as far as
- 25:21Speaker 2: like you can tell that he came out of pocket
- 25:23Speaker 2: for this. He had comedians there like Dave Chappelle Andrew Schultz,
- 25:28Speaker 2: he had some louis He had what's his name, fred
- 25:32Speaker 2: O Bang performed. You know what I'm saying that he's
- 25:34Speaker 2: from Louisiana. Master P performed with obviously from Louisiana. He
- 25:41Speaker 2: had like actors, comedians. They had a car show over there,
- 25:46Speaker 2: like and DJAMV was saying that fifty was directing him
- 25:50Speaker 2: to deal with the people locally in Louisiana to make
- 25:53Speaker 2: sure that it was a Louisiana car show. It's like,
- 25:57Speaker 2: now you're not just bringing your car show here, You're
- 25:59Speaker 2: gonna do with the local guys to wait to Louisiana
- 26:02Speaker 2: car show. So he he, he went out of his
- 26:05Speaker 2: way to make it a thing, you know what I'm saying.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So to me, Hurricane Chris coming out and saying this
- 26:12Speaker 2: is like, bro, you just you obviously sound like you're
- 26:15Speaker 2: just mad that you didn't get tapped in for this
- 26:18Speaker 2: because you know what it's giving the game at the
- 26:21Speaker 2: Kendrick pop.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Out, Yeah, that's a perfect, perfect, perfect connection.
- 26:29Speaker 2: No, that is perfect because that's exactly what it feels like, man.
- 26:32Speaker 2: And it's like if you don't recognize how much money
- 26:35Speaker 2: he's bringing to your state, your city, like man, like.
- 26:40Speaker 5: If represents you even though you're not even as relevant
- 26:44Speaker 5: as you used to be at that point. I don't know,
- 26:47Speaker 5: I can't I can't talk about I don't know how
- 26:49Speaker 5: about his status there, but it's.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Like even just not having the vision to say, Bro,
- 26:55Speaker 2: they're setting up roots over here, they're building things over here,
- 26:59Speaker 2: gonna generate more people coming here. I'm going to be
- 27:01Speaker 2: able to get more shows. Maybe I'll be able to
- 27:04Speaker 2: work with fifty in the future, just because he's going
- 27:06Speaker 2: to be over here more. And it's you're already burned,
- 27:09Speaker 2: stupid facts exactly. There you go, He's setting up times
- 27:13Speaker 2: for the next one hundred years, and you've burned that
- 27:16Speaker 2: bridge in the first month. Bro.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Stupid And it's the craziest part. Like, and this is
- 27:21Speaker 3: how ignorant sometimes we are as people.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Bro.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Like you want to compare him spending money on artists
- 27:29Speaker 3: to him spending money on police when as of May
- 27:32Speaker 3: of this year, Louisiana is ranked number fifty in crime
- 27:37Speaker 3: in the United States, number fifty. It's the worst state
- 27:40Speaker 3: in the country for crime. And the first thing you
- 27:44Speaker 3: want to yell at is how many police he's bringing
- 27:46Speaker 3: to an event that's supposed to open up.
- 27:49Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 27:49Speaker 3: It's supposed to be your big hoorah for what you're
- 27:52Speaker 3: bringing to the city, and you're going to bring up
- 27:55Speaker 3: the fact that he's bringing police, not.
- 27:57Speaker 2: To mention the weekend went off without a hitch, no
- 28:01Speaker 2: no crime, no shooting, no nothing, nothing, nothing nothing. A
- 28:05Speaker 2: perfect weekend, perfect weekend. It was a perfect weekend. It
- 28:09Speaker 2: was the weekend of all times.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Next weekend's ever, I can't think of the weekend it
- 28:14Speaker 1: was better than that.
- 28:16Speaker 3: The amount of businesses that made I mean, yeah, the
- 28:19Speaker 3: business that made money from from fifty coming to that.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I mean the restaurants, the hotels, the uber drivers, the venders,
- 28:27Speaker 3: and it's.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Like, bro, and you the waitresses and Waiters podcast.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Come on, man, and the first thing you want to
- 28:33Speaker 3: do is do exactly what Mike Rubin was saying that
- 28:36Speaker 3: we do is hate on the man immediately immediately.
- 28:42Speaker 5: You know what, what's cool, what's coolest to feel some
- 28:44Speaker 5: type of way, but don't burn your bridge. And that's
- 28:48Speaker 5: what I tell everybody. Wait till like you're part of
- 28:50Speaker 5: it and you're good and everything's good, and then you
- 28:52Speaker 5: could be like, yo, you know what, I'm gonna just
- 28:54Speaker 5: let you know I felt some type of way about
- 28:56Speaker 5: the first time we did that. I wasn't involved, but
- 28:58Speaker 5: now we're good, but I want to let you know
- 29:00Speaker 5: I felt some type of way. And this is like
- 29:02Speaker 5: this personal relationship that I deal with a regular day life,
- 29:05Speaker 5: Like it's time to tell somebody when you felt some
- 29:09Speaker 5: type of way, But if you say it at the
- 29:10Speaker 5: wrong time, it's gonna set a precedents that you never
- 29:14Speaker 5: expected and you never wanted to happen.
- 29:16Speaker 3: But you also got to think about the amount of
- 29:17Speaker 3: people that came into Shreveport that knew nothing about Streetport,
- 29:22Speaker 3: but they came for this event and Hurricane Chris. I'm sorry,
- 29:27Speaker 3: but all I know from you is ababay and dropping
- 29:31Speaker 3: getting fifty.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That's stuff else. That's all I know from you.
- 29:35Speaker 3: So if I'm coming into the city and you came out,
- 29:38Speaker 3: I'm sorry, bro, but I'm kind of mad because I
- 29:40Speaker 3: don't know much of your music, you know what I mean.
- 29:44Speaker 3: So it's like, bro, like, come on, bro, you you
- 29:46Speaker 3: really doing? It's looking real bitter, you know, And that's
- 29:50Speaker 3: your own internal condemnation, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Facts, Man, to a certain point, it's kind of like
- 29:57Speaker 2: we always talk about like people just let I'm talking,
- 30:00Speaker 2: They're gonna reveal themselves the same with us, you know
- 30:02Speaker 2: what I mean. At this point, people have heard us
- 30:04Speaker 2: enough to know like what we feel and where we
- 30:07Speaker 2: lean and all these things, and it's like people are
- 30:10Speaker 2: going to reveal themselves and the things they say and that, bro,
- 30:14Speaker 2: when it's so transparent, man, like I always be thinking,
- 30:17Speaker 2: dog like when people record videos like that, they don't
- 30:20Speaker 2: watch them back, like they don't think about it, like
- 30:23Speaker 2: like it is it like oh, I'm just oh and
- 30:26Speaker 2: then they just pressent and throw their phone across.
- 30:28Speaker 1: The room, you know what I.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Mean, Like like what what's going on in their minds?
- 30:32Speaker 2: Because like there's no way half of these videos that
- 30:35Speaker 2: I'll be seeing these people are feeling confident when they're
- 30:39Speaker 2: posting them, like there's no way they're watching them back
- 30:41Speaker 2: saying yes, I did exactly what I was set out
- 30:45Speaker 2: and I hate it out the park Like there's no way, bro.
- 30:55Speaker 3: That's crazy. It's it's it's insane, bro. But you know
- 30:59Speaker 3: it goes back to what we were saying earlier.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Bro.
- 31:02Speaker 3: It's just it's something that we do, man, and it's
- 31:06Speaker 3: a bad It's you can't be mad at Mike Rubin
- 31:10Speaker 3: for saying the truth, bro, Like we can say all
- 31:12Speaker 3: day that like you know, he he it's not his place.
- 31:16Speaker 3: But bro, if I'm if I work a so you're
- 31:20Speaker 3: telling me it's not my place to say that corporate
- 31:22Speaker 3: America does not favorite black people. When I'm around it
- 31:26Speaker 3: all the time.
- 31:27Speaker 5: I was going to say that, you said it. Come on, man,
- 31:30Speaker 5: those opportunities you fought for. You spoke out what the
- 31:33Speaker 5: reason is and I know that, and I agreed with you.
- 31:35Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 31:36Speaker 1: So it's like, you can't mean that situation.
- 31:39Speaker 3: It's like, if you see it, it's what you see.
- 31:41Speaker 3: You know it is what.
- 31:42Speaker 2: It is, man, No fact, that's that's correct. Bro Man.
- 31:49Speaker 2: On a lighthearted note, to go out with bro and
- 31:54Speaker 2: shout out to the homie Matt Man. He's been pulling
- 31:57Speaker 2: up and we've been working on some content that I'm
- 32:00Speaker 2: gonna start on posting. Souer Man, I'm excited about it.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But shout out to mad because we was talking about
- 32:06Speaker 2: a little bit too, and he was the one that
- 32:09Speaker 2: kind of like validated my feelings because he felt the
- 32:12Speaker 2: same way.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Dog.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I've been watching The Boys, right, so I'm watching the
- 32:19Speaker 2: Boys shows fire bro a little a little two grotesque
- 32:23Speaker 2: for my taste.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Right like, it gets it takes it, it takes it.
- 32:28Speaker 4: It was up to me.
- 32:29Speaker 2: If it was up to me, the grotesqueness would be less.
- 32:33Speaker 2: But I like the story enough that I'll keep watching.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like I rock with it.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Rock if you if you bang with it, someone like
- 32:39Speaker 1: you bang with it?
- 32:40Speaker 2: No no A. But but I'm about to yo the
- 32:43Speaker 2: other the other shoe. You remember the other shoe, right
- 32:47Speaker 2: like we had the first shoe. Now the other shoes
- 32:50Speaker 2: about to drop. Because basically with that show, it's a
- 32:54Speaker 2: tremendous amount of Penis Dog. Why it is so much
- 33:00Speaker 2: much Penis and the Boys A yot.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I become the top clip.
- 33:09Speaker 2: When you get I watch this show, I gotta be
- 33:11Speaker 2: oh yeah, yo, that show is not demure.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you that much.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Yore about Penis Dog. There's no demereness about the peerness.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I'll tell you.
- 33:27Speaker 5: That they overdo it, as I say, when it when
- 33:35Speaker 5: it started with with the milk, That's when I was like, all.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Right, they yeah, yeah, Like I said, Bros, it's too
- 33:44Speaker 2: grotesque for my taste. But I like the story and
- 33:47Speaker 2: everything enough that that I'm investing in, you know what
- 33:49Speaker 2: I mean, Like because it kind of like gets worse,
- 33:53Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like it's not as bad
- 33:55Speaker 2: in the beginning, but as you get to like in
- 33:58Speaker 2: the second season, third fourth Seed and it's.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Like, yeah, like we got you out, so you just
- 34:02Speaker 3: have to deal with it.
- 34:03Speaker 5: No, I do they take They put a lot of
- 34:06Speaker 5: concepts of realism into the fantasy world, Like if we
- 34:10Speaker 5: really did live in the fantasy world with a lot
- 34:12Speaker 5: of people really feel we do, if you really apply
- 34:15Speaker 5: the realism to it.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the thing that hooked me.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I say, top five first episodes ever in any show ever?
- 34:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that first episode is crazy.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Top five first episodes ever in any show ever. Seen
- 34:30Speaker 1: the first five minutes, I was.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Like, yeah, wow, you never imagine that. I love the
- 34:36Speaker 5: Avengers for thinking about it. I don't know, I want
- 34:39Speaker 5: to live in that world.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Ye.
- 34:42Speaker 2: The thing for me that just always stuck that was
- 34:45Speaker 2: like Dog, what the hell was Hughey's girl bro? Dog
- 34:50Speaker 2: when just runs throughsh about into the show?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Brouh.
- 35:01Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, Like nobody ever you love
- 35:03Speaker 5: those fantasy movies, but if you bring that fantasy into realism,
- 35:08Speaker 5: think about how shit would really be facts.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But yeah, man, it's dope and and it's like brouh.
- 35:16Speaker 2: I'm one of those people that I feel like new
- 35:18Speaker 2: to these kind of unnecessary in movies and stuff in general.
- 35:22Speaker 2: You know what I mean like I've never didn't know,
- 35:24Speaker 2: but as an adult, yeah, yeah, exactly exactly. I've never
- 35:28Speaker 2: seen it in a movie where I was like, oh,
- 35:29Speaker 2: that made sense. Like it always feels gratuitous, you know
- 35:33Speaker 2: what I mean. It's like the fact that they're extra
- 35:36Speaker 2: gratuitous about it on top of that is like bruh,
- 35:39Speaker 2: and it's mad penis dog. Gosh, don't do it, Broh,
- 35:45Speaker 2: don't do it.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You can get your point across without flashing everything facts.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be my only gripe with the show Man,
- 35:53Speaker 2: the the amount of blood and gore and the exorber
- 36:00Speaker 2: in an amount of penis.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I'll tell you what, bro if you ain't made it
- 36:03Speaker 3: to season four y eight, hold.
- 36:06Speaker 2: On, buckle up to get even worse. There's more penis ahead.
- 36:11Speaker 3: It's worse than Penis Dog. What can be worse than that? Yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 3: it gets worse.
- 36:15Speaker 5: If there turns into a clip, I'm posting it. I'm
- 36:20Speaker 5: logging into that and I'm posting.
- 36:22Speaker 2: This brod Records. The real estate would be of somebody
- 36:28Speaker 2: came out with a video with the penis counter. Ao yo,
- 36:32Speaker 2: how many times? How many times they came across the episode?
- 36:35Speaker 2: A yo? Oh my god, I know something like that existed, yo,
- 36:43Speaker 2: But yeah, man, we here next week.
- 36:46Speaker 1: What's suck? We got a big week next weekend.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Yeah man, we do have facts.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Bro.
- 36:52Speaker 2: We're going on dr for Quincy's wedding dogs.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we better.
- 36:57Speaker 2: We better definitely record some content out there. Just catch
- 37:01Speaker 2: the vibes. Bro. We gotta record like an episode by
- 37:06Speaker 2: the beach. Bro, that's what I'm thinking.
- 37:08Speaker 5: If we just take like fifty twenty minutes of the
- 37:10Speaker 5: day and pops something out real quick.
- 37:12Speaker 2: We gotta do a nighttime beach episode.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Geez, I'm gonna have to go pro. We just need
- 37:18Speaker 1: some lighting.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. Yeah. Facts we got, We got the I
- 37:23Speaker 2: think I got the night vision too, right.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah, man, that's gonna be dope, bro.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yeah, shout out. That is Uh.
- 37:33Speaker 5: It's been a long time since we have all three
- 37:36Speaker 5: been in the same place, and we're gonna be in
- 37:38Speaker 5: the same place for more than twenty four hours straight.
- 37:42Speaker 5: One first experience that we've ever had to do this before.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And I'm very much the dog.
- 37:47Speaker 2: I've never been on a trip like this.
- 37:50Speaker 3: This pro, this is my Robert was just telling me.
- 37:55Speaker 3: She was like, Bro, this is gonna be your first
- 37:57Speaker 3: stamp on your passport.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Bro, same B. But like I've never I've never been
- 38:03Speaker 2: to an all inclusive resort, bro, like I've been on
- 38:05Speaker 2: a cruise, you know. Like like Quincy just said, I'm
- 38:09Speaker 2: the same bro. I had to get a passport for this.
- 38:12Speaker 1: H This is follow my lead.
- 38:15Speaker 5: If you want to be in bed by eight pm,
- 38:18Speaker 5: you want to get fits your taked by your wife
- 38:20Speaker 5: to sow your friends lead. I told I said, I
- 38:25Speaker 5: ain't doing that strip. I ain't doing that strip.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I don't believe you.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Well, other trips, other trips. It is not that I
- 38:31Speaker 5: don't have a mandatory. You're meant to be too. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I'm not doing that this bro, This this is the
- 38:39Speaker 2: this is the part that neither of you I don't know.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I don't know if you've realized it, but I don't
- 38:45Speaker 2: know if you've thought about it. But you guys together,
- 38:52Speaker 2: all inclusive, Quincy together, all inclusive.
- 38:56Speaker 5: Crazy that first, I'm gonna say.
- 39:01Speaker 2: That, y'all are yo. I'm gonna tell you this. Y'all
- 39:04Speaker 2: are gonna be throwing chunks.
- 39:07Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, I never do I never do.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I never do.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Okay, okay, but I do want to prepare for one thing.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I do want to prepare for one thing. If we
- 39:20Speaker 1: see karaoke, we need to be ready. I'm with it.
- 39:25Speaker 1: We need to I'm with it. I'm gonna have a
- 39:28Speaker 1: track ready for them.
- 39:29Speaker 2: What is that? We gotta figure it out right now.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Let's let's get a line up. Let's get a lineup going.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Let's see three people being a song with three people
- 39:39Speaker 5: before the locks.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Now you're tripping. We got to sing an R and
- 39:44Speaker 2: B song.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we gotta sing bro no, no, no, no, no no.
- 39:50Speaker 1: That that's my first step.
- 39:52Speaker 5: So when we went out to Mexico, ruh, I picked
- 39:57Speaker 5: the wrong song and any redemption.
- 40:00Speaker 2: We gotta My recommendation is next too close.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I say t o C creep. But I
- 40:11Speaker 1: guess we can go.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Now.
- 40:13Speaker 5: But real talk, we gotta think it. It's gonna take time.
- 40:16Speaker 5: That that is a sensitive process. We need to have
- 40:19Speaker 5: to write something. But we will be captured.
- 40:22Speaker 2: If at some point and where even if there's not karaoke,
- 40:27Speaker 2: we're just gonna create it out of thin air.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Bro talk, damn, I.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Might bring that mike that just just be ready for it.
- 40:37Speaker 5: It's not every single place I've ever went to that
- 40:40Speaker 5: has karaoke I have performed, and if it's there, y'all
- 40:45Speaker 5: better be with it because I know you'll performance, so
- 40:47Speaker 5: y'all better be with it.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Me invalved on bending on the cruise one time, no air.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Robin didn't know air together, I'm saying that I hit
- 40:59Speaker 1: back the crew. I was like, yo, my boy, and
- 41:02Speaker 1: in his fiance didn't no air. I was like that,
- 41:05Speaker 1: sh it was hard. I tried to get wife out
- 41:12Speaker 1: there with me, so she let me embarrass myself. But
- 41:13Speaker 1: it's okay.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that karaoke is always fire man. Yeah, they always
- 41:19Speaker 2: got it, like at least like I've only been on Royal.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Like on Royal, they always got to set up like
- 41:24Speaker 2: in a nice bar tavern looking area, you know what
- 41:29Speaker 2: I mean. And it's like really nice how they got
- 41:31Speaker 2: to set up. And then they got the live one
- 41:33Speaker 2: too that they be doing where it's like an actual
- 41:34Speaker 2: band on.
- 41:36Speaker 7: The one we did in Mexico was a full blown
- 41:38Speaker 7: stage that's fire by yourself and it was a full audience,
- 41:42Speaker 7: like if you were literally performing the show and mega
- 41:46Speaker 7: he did you got you got it bad.
- 41:49Speaker 1: That guy blew that ship out the water, My dude.
- 41:52Speaker 5: He had had And then they had to go perform
- 41:54Speaker 5: after him, and then I picked some stupid ass bad fish.
- 41:57Speaker 2: On what is that?
- 42:02Speaker 1: I know. I know I was selling.
- 42:04Speaker 5: I know because she was like, everybody's like, you did
- 42:08Speaker 5: so good, but nobody knows that song.
- 42:11Speaker 1: That's the key to karaoke. You gotta do a song
- 42:13Speaker 1: people can sing with you. So Ever, since then I
- 42:16Speaker 1: texted ch like, I should have done this song. I
- 42:18Speaker 1: should have done this song.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yo, low key the cheak colde song for that is
- 42:22Speaker 2: this how we do it, Broye, that one yo, if
- 42:27Speaker 2: you want to just get a guarantee, like I'm gonna
- 42:31Speaker 2: hit it out the park with this karaoke is if
- 42:33Speaker 2: they haven't if somebody hasn't done it yet, because they
- 42:35Speaker 2: usually do. This is how we do it, bro.
- 42:38Speaker 5: Some some dude went up the birder is the word? Yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 5: I was like, all right, but I did better than him, though, right,
- 42:47Speaker 5: I did better than him at least is better than
- 42:53Speaker 5: the real so hey, we were gonna do him telling
- 42:56Speaker 5: we better come back and for this, who knows what's
- 42:59Speaker 5: the next time we're gonna be able to do something
- 43:00Speaker 5: like this.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Said he want to think of the song of Rick.
- 43:07Speaker 2: But yeah, man, I guess that's the cue to get
- 43:10Speaker 2: out of here and stay.
- 43:11Speaker 6: But but but.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Not pud Pudy, not not Udy, not not Undy, not
- 45:51Speaker 4: not not, not after
- 46:09Speaker 6: Ever, att
