- 0:01Speaker 1: The plays Into Juice podcast is rated M for marijuana,
- 0:04Speaker 1: no minors, but your audience just only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You know what I did the other day. I paid
- 0:10Speaker 2: my parking ticket. I was grudgingly paying this parking ticket
- 0:13Speaker 2: because I got it one minute after my meter expired,
- 0:16Speaker 2: one minute I.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Was targeting me. It was just a Philly one.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Yeah. I paid it on Sunday. I was given fifteen
- 0:22Speaker 1: days to pay it, and you know how long I
- 0:23Speaker 1: waited to pay it. Fifteen days.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Absolutely, it was twenty six dollars. That's not too bad,
- 0:28Speaker 2: I know. It is still the fact that it was
- 0:30Speaker 2: a minute after your they were watching me. He was
- 0:32Speaker 2: gonna fight it though, because it was a minute after
- 0:35Speaker 2: Come on, they were waiting for me.
- 0:37Speaker 3: It's not worth no twenty six bucks.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Though, That's what I'm saying. Just paying the twenty six
- 0:40Speaker 4: bucks and be done.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Furthermore, you got to like go to Philly and defend yourself.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Screw that.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, they do zoom court meetings. I told you that,
- 0:46Speaker 2: all right, take my twenty six dollars.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Feel like it's all that has changed. We're doing zoom phone.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Sorry, I gotta go to court really quick, you know,
- 0:54Speaker 1: so I can get twenty six dollars back in my name.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I probably get a court fee for like thirty bucks.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Just paid it for twenty so you paid it for
- 1:02Speaker 1: twenty six. Tells I paid the damn thing twenty six
- 1:03Speaker 1: for you. Whatever. It's not good for me. I pissed
- 1:06Speaker 1: off about what.
- 1:08Speaker 4: So piss and moan? Can I say piss and moan?
- 1:11Speaker 3: You could say whatever fucking want.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I mean, we try not to, you know, be gratuitous
- 1:16Speaker 1: about it. I've been good about cursing. He has not.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I've been better. That's a big shock.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We've both been better. Hey, you know it's weird when
- 1:23Speaker 1: you you know us. It's the true broadcast professionals sitting
- 1:26Speaker 1: behind a microphone.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Suddenly it's like, oh.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Wait, we go into radio mode and you cannot say that.
- 1:31Speaker 3: You can't say the word I know, but here you
- 1:33Speaker 3: can the S word. It's it's it's like a mental
- 1:36Speaker 3: hard for me.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Have you ever said the word fucking to a microphone?
- 1:38Speaker 4: God?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Fuck? It's nice, right shite? Oh wow, it's expressive. Can
- 1:46Speaker 3: I say the big one? Which that's not that big?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Good motherfucker. You don't understand.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I've been in radio for like twenty five years, and
- 1:56Speaker 4: the microphone and the headphones go on, and that means
- 1:59Speaker 4: that you're on.
- 2:00Speaker 2: That means that you don't say those naughty words. Now,
- 2:02Speaker 2: you just got to remember that you can only do
- 2:03Speaker 2: this here. You can't take it to work tomorrow.
- 2:05Speaker 3: That's all. Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Becca's returning. By the way, you are a now a
- 2:07Speaker 2: two time guest. You are a broadcast professional working in
- 2:10Speaker 2: the radio industry with us for a very long time.
- 2:12Speaker 1: We're happy to have you back on episode forty four.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I want to thank you for bringing me coffee. My
- 2:17Speaker 1: coffee maker broke. You know, half of my coffee maker broke,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so I mean half. Well, I have like the k cup.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think it's called the Curig duo thing.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah, have that one word.
- 2:26Speaker 4: It makes a pot on one side and then it makes
- 2:28Speaker 4: a cup on the other side. O.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Great. So for Christmas, I bought my parents and a
- 2:33Speaker 1: couple other people. You know, coffee is like the gift
- 2:35Speaker 1: that keeps on giving. If you have people that like coffee,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's a good Christmas gift, right. So TikTok shops started
- 2:40Speaker 1: showing me ads for the Cureig brand.
- 2:43Speaker 3: So it's legit because it's the Curig brand.
- 2:45Speaker 1: The Curig brand cleaner kit thing then this weekend, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: don't know what was in me.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I thought I should clean my coffee maker. You really
- 2:52Speaker 3: read the directions, yeah, I know, Well I.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Did all of those trans exactly fly.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I glanced at the back of the box, yes and no.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I read the I read the box's instructions, but then
- 3:06Speaker 1: the box said, refer to the bottle for the rest
- 3:08Speaker 1: of the instructions. And then when I went to the bottle,
- 3:10Speaker 1: it was like you know when you get a pill
- 3:12Speaker 1: bottle and you have to like peel the little paper
- 3:14Speaker 1: off chee can. Well I couldn't peel it. I couldn't
- 3:16Speaker 1: get to the other side where the instructions were. So
- 3:17Speaker 1: you were like, okay, I can just do this. Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 1: so you winged it. So I winged it all right.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I wung it. And what happened, Well, I broke my
- 3:24Speaker 1: freaking coffee leg. The worst part is you broke it.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I don't even know how I broke it. Put it
- 3:30Speaker 1: in this way, put it this way. So the single
- 3:33Speaker 1: cup brewer part works great, But like when I go
- 3:35Speaker 1: to brew a full pot, I clicked a ten for
- 3:38Speaker 1: ten cups and it goes trickle trickle, trickle, and then
- 3:40Speaker 1: it stops and says it's done. I'm like, excuse me,
- 3:43Speaker 1: not done. I think you still have more to go here.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Okay, So I think your coffee meat and my coffee
- 3:47Speaker 4: meat or coffee pot need to get together because our
- 3:50Speaker 4: curragg side yeah, is not working like the pot side is.
- 3:54Speaker 4: When we put a curag cup in and you hit
- 3:56Speaker 4: like twelve cup twelve ounces, yeah, it spits out, maybe
- 4:00Speaker 4: she spits out maybe six, and then you have to
- 4:02Speaker 4: run the cup again.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Sometimes you have to run the cupups like upwards of
- 4:06Speaker 4: three times to get a full cup of coffee. You know.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Honestly, though, I think I'm done with cuigs. I think
- 4:10Speaker 1: I need to get another. No, no, no, no, no, I'm
- 4:12Speaker 1: not done with the idea of like the singles.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Sure, I know it's terrible for the environment, but man,
- 4:17Speaker 3: it makes a good cake cup of cough. I love
- 4:19Speaker 3: a cake cup.
- 4:20Speaker 1: However, though, I just got this freaking thing two years ago,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and now it's shipping out on me. And furthermore, I've
- 4:24Speaker 1: lived alone since what twenty eighteen? Right, yeah, I think
- 4:28Speaker 1: I've gone through like six freaking coffee makers, man.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You know what.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I one of my first memories of Joel and realizing
- 4:34Speaker 2: exactly who Joel is as a person.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It was when he did. He had to have a
- 4:37Speaker 1: cureig in our.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Office, right, he had to have it, a single cup maker,
- 4:43Speaker 2: just had to have it. And he pushed all this
- 4:45Speaker 2: other shit away, just made himself at home.
- 4:47Speaker 3: It's one of my first memories of you. But of
- 4:48Speaker 3: course it did.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You know, it's a seventeen year old motherfucker comes in here.
- 4:54Speaker 1: We're gonna move all of your work shit and put
- 4:56Speaker 1: my coffee thing in here. Coming from the only person
- 4:59Speaker 1: in all of America it doesn't drink hot beverages.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I don't drink coffee. I drink tea.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You know, the coffee maker that I brought to work
- 5:05Speaker 1: all those years ago is another example of a cureig
- 5:08Speaker 1: that broke.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Why did they break? I feel like, seriously, like every
- 5:11Speaker 3: lot of them. They have a lot of moving parts,
- 5:13Speaker 3: but every two three years coverage?
- 5:16Speaker 1: Is it?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Really?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:17Speaker 2: You know, I just bought my parents their first cure
- 5:19Speaker 2: rig for Christmas, and I'm wondering how long it's gonna last.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Because my parents take really good care of things. Like
- 5:23Speaker 2: my mom, she doesn't work or anything, so she's at
- 5:25Speaker 2: home cleaning all the time. So I imagine that this means
- 5:28Speaker 2: this Currig is gonna be like the cleanest Cureig machine,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and that's probably gonna last. Like she's seriously thirty years
- 5:33Speaker 2: all the time, all the time, she's always cleaning. Really, yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 2: she looks to clean. She looks to be tidy, and
- 5:38Speaker 2: you know that's great.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I can't relate.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I'd love her, No, I can't relate. That's why i've
- 5:42Speaker 4: been I wish I had it that motivation.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm pretty tighty.
- 5:46Speaker 4: You are very tighty. Every time I've been over to
- 5:48Speaker 4: your place, it's been very comfortable.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I think the first thing that gets gross in the
- 5:51Speaker 1: Carrig is the water reservoir.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It gets all like gross, and that's the one thing.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It depends on your water too.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Well, okay, then the water here is nasty because I've replaced,
- 6:00Speaker 1: actually I've replaced just the reservoir portion of it. And
- 6:04Speaker 1: that's the one thing I will say about the Curig
- 6:06Speaker 1: brand cleaner kit when I bought it, like it cleaned
- 6:09Speaker 1: that up perfect. That thing is spots ad yeah, not
- 6:12Speaker 1: hashtag ad No, because it.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Broke my ship here. You know what, you can sponsor
- 6:16Speaker 3: our podcast. You can't. Your shit sucks man, fix your
- 6:18Speaker 3: ship first.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll take a sponsorship speaking of shit that needs
- 6:23Speaker 4: fixing this podcast because you know it will work.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I think, right, is that my cue to press the
- 6:27Speaker 3: open button. Let's do it.
- 6:29Speaker 5: They'll Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, the
- 6:33Speaker 5: trivia podcast where Truth, Fury and THC glide. Let's spark
- 6:40Speaker 5: your curiosity and light up some knowledge. They'll Blazed and
- 6:44Speaker 5: Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel starts now now.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It's the BBJ episode. Excuse me, yeah, Becho Becka Joel.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I think I've seen that video online,
- 6:58Speaker 2: but anyway.
- 6:59Speaker 4: My initials are Bjay, just saying, oh yeah, I'm just saying,
- 7:05Speaker 4: just saying some great initials.
- 7:07Speaker 2: The famous bj joining the show this week, episode forty four.
- 7:11Speaker 3: My name is Becker. That's my good friend role over there.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I think this is how the show is going to go, right,
- 7:17Speaker 2: just like the store of all the letters to put
- 7:19Speaker 2: together for the store of bjs. Yeah, it's right next
- 7:22Speaker 2: to a Dix often too, which is really funny, or
- 7:24Speaker 2: at least in the same development for the Giants and
- 7:27Speaker 2: then Giant Bjays Dick Giant.
- 7:31Speaker 4: If they were all like that, if they were all
- 7:33Speaker 4: in the same shopping center. Could you imagine would because
- 7:38Speaker 4: because you always heed a waffle house could be Bjy's
- 7:41Speaker 4: Giant Dix with the waffle house, with the wafflehouse scattered,
- 7:45Speaker 4: smothered and covered. Bas I love waffle house.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I love It makes me feel like shit, like literally
- 7:52Speaker 2: fifteen minutes later and really like shit.
- 7:55Speaker 3: That's fair, That's absolutely fair.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I was talking a friend the other day, really, we're
- 8:00Speaker 2: sure go for breakfast waffle house was I was like, no,
- 8:04Speaker 2: come on, do you hate yourself that much?
- 8:06Speaker 1: It is good, but.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Brady, my husband and I we just
- 8:09Speaker 3: went there on a date night. Yeah, I wish they
- 8:12Speaker 3: had French toast. It's the only place what's called waffle house.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Don't they have pancakes as well?
- 8:19Speaker 3: They do, right right?
- 8:21Speaker 1: I mean, don't they have French toasts? Honestly, if given
- 8:23Speaker 1: the option of a waffle, French toast, or a pancake,
- 8:26Speaker 1: I would pick French toast.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Hell yeah, However, I will say waffle house. Waffle house.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's really the only place anymore that's opened twenty four
- 8:33Speaker 1: hours a day, Like when he serves breakfast twenty four
- 8:35Speaker 1: to seven. Yeah, I mean what else are you going
- 8:37Speaker 1: to waffle house for they.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Be surprised, you would be surprised. Did they have burgers
- 8:41Speaker 4: there like regular food? Yeah, they do have regular food.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Grilled cheese, sandwiches and burgers.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Are all right Now I'm more interesting burgers. That sounds
- 8:48Speaker 1: a little questionable.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a little sus well, like you're already gonna
- 8:52Speaker 2: have to use the bathroom after your waffle house experience,
- 8:55Speaker 2: But how long do you want to be there?
- 8:56Speaker 1: It looks like everything is served on toast instead of
- 8:59Speaker 1: serve on like you know, like a regular like hamburger.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But so everything has like a practist feel to it. Okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: so a lot of patty melch, chicken melch.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Eight you mostly like flat tops.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Skittle, Yeah, grittle, skittles and griddles and all the things.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so you're yeah, exactly, this is blazed and confused.
- 9:23Speaker 3: So it's appropriate that I said skittles.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, we're following through, thank you getting blazed and we're
- 9:28Speaker 1: always confused.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Well, I talked to you this morning and you weren't
- 9:32Speaker 4: very confused. You actually paid me a compliment and it
- 9:35Speaker 4: stuck with me and I hung on to.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It all day.
- 9:37Speaker 4: What did I say, you walked in and we were
- 9:39Speaker 4: talking and then all of a sudden, you stopped and
- 9:40Speaker 4: you looked at me, and you're like, oh, you look
- 9:42Speaker 4: really nice today.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Oh wasn't that nice? Very much? Thank you for saying
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's good You're welcome.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Because I'm old and I don't necessarily dude, I just
- 9:52Speaker 4: turned forty eight.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Come on, that's nothing.
- 9:55Speaker 3: It feels a whole lot more than nothing.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're up there, too, aren't you ouch to make it
- 10:00Speaker 1: effort to not make her feel much older than me?
- 10:03Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm basically forty eight. You're welcome. You're like
- 10:09Speaker 3: a generation before me.
- 10:10Speaker 4: I'm forty one is you're forty one, so that's a
- 10:12Speaker 4: full seven years and you you're old enough to be
- 10:14Speaker 4: my son.
- 10:15Speaker 3: You guys are the same age. I hate to break
- 10:18Speaker 3: it to you out you are.
- 10:20Speaker 1: No, don't let that honestly, don't bother well, really, that
- 10:23Speaker 1: wouldn't bother me. I don't care.
- 10:25Speaker 4: See that shit would bother me bother me. It was
- 10:27Speaker 4: as soon as I hit forty five. As soon as
- 10:29Speaker 4: I hit forty five, I was like, oh my god,
- 10:32Speaker 4: I am closer to fifty than I am to forty.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I feel like being a twenty something year old. After
- 10:37Speaker 1: you turn twenty two, you're basically thirty, because twenty one
- 10:42Speaker 1: is the last second you said for you, I think,
- 10:44Speaker 1: but I think the twenty one is the last significant birthday, right,
- 10:47Speaker 1: Like sixteen, you can drive a car, twenty one, you
- 10:49Speaker 1: can drink.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Eight over eighteen, you can buy cigarettes, and you can
- 10:52Speaker 2: buy pornography.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I did.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Anyway, you can.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Buy whatever we're talking about.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I was able to do that.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell You're actually gonna tell a very revealing
- 11:01Speaker 2: story about myself, really revealing. I wonder if my parents
- 11:05Speaker 2: will hear this at all. But when I finally turned eighteen,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I had the Internet and I ordered pornography.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I ordered, I ordered a pornography. I ordered one.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Pornography, all right, but I didn't want it sent to
- 11:20Speaker 2: the house. So I went out of my way and
- 11:22Speaker 2: stood in line at the post office to get PO
- 11:26Speaker 2: box for my one porn.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Now, if that's not mature and responsible, I don't know
- 11:32Speaker 1: why I use it one time? What you used one time?
- 11:34Speaker 1: The pornography is the po box. The po box, of course,
- 11:38Speaker 1: just making sure I still have that video.
- 11:42Speaker 2: It was a video, it was a DVD. It was
- 11:44Speaker 2: you know, one DVD that version of the stuff that's.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Coming out on day all right, So you don't think
- 11:49Speaker 4: forty one is that different from forty eight. You said
- 11:51Speaker 4: one pornography. My old brain went to a magazine and
- 11:57Speaker 4: you got a DVD. You were like, obviously it was
- 11:58Speaker 4: a DVD.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know what I mean.
- 12:00Speaker 4: There was such a difference. There was such a difference.
- 12:03Speaker 4: But you turned eighteen and you bought one pornography and.
- 12:06Speaker 3: You didn't response I don't remember the name of it
- 12:08Speaker 3: or anything like that. You're safe. I'm so proud.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I just don't want my parents to see it because
- 12:12Speaker 2: it wouldn't make me feel embarrassed. It would probably make
- 12:14Speaker 2: them feel embarrassed by being like, oh, I have to
- 12:16Speaker 2: bring this up.
- 12:17Speaker 4: To him now, I will say, you know, I will say,
- 12:19Speaker 4: as as the mother of a teenager, it's it's awkward
- 12:23Speaker 4: when you find evidence.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just gonna leave it at that. I always
- 12:27Speaker 2: thought I was pretty good at concealing you weren't. You weren't.
- 12:32Speaker 4: He's right, He's right. You think you're being clever and hiding.
- 12:36Speaker 3: But you're not. We're very clever on the show, though.
- 12:41Speaker 1: It was a horrible segue. It was very obvious.
- 12:42Speaker 2: But anyway, we have a bunch of rapid round questions.
- 12:44Speaker 2: We're going to get to you right now. Rapid round,
- 12:47Speaker 2: let's play.
- 12:48Speaker 3: The game begins in three two? All right, Becca?
- 12:54Speaker 1: What do you call a year that has three hundred
- 12:56Speaker 1: and sixty six days?
- 12:58Speaker 3: A leap here?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you're very good.
- 12:59Speaker 2: What city in Italy starts with the letter V Vienna? Hmm,
- 13:05Speaker 2: that's we'll take that.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Kidding me?
- 13:06Speaker 1: All right? Fine?
- 13:07Speaker 3: What food the pandas eat bamboo?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:10Speaker 2: On a horizontal traffic light? Where would you find the
- 13:12Speaker 2: green light?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:13Speaker 3: I hate you. That means I'm dyslexic on the right.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yes, Okay, there we go. What car brand slogan is
- 13:23Speaker 1: built to last? M Well, no, it's I don't know.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Marie Curry was the first person to win what award?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Where does the black panther take place?
- 13:36Speaker 3: What nation? What conda? Conda? What is the largest mammal
- 13:39Speaker 3: in the world, A blue whale?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:42Speaker 3: The situation is A cast member of what TV show?
- 13:46Speaker 3: Mt V Beach House? I think we're sa BJ, but
- 13:50Speaker 3: I guess the same thing. What countries? What country's flag
- 13:54Speaker 3: has a maple leaf on it? Canada?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:58Speaker 3: All right, he did pretty well. Too bad. Let's a
- 14:01Speaker 3: the gotchas because you said horizontal and my brain exploded.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Can I just ask you, though, where the where have
- 14:08Speaker 3: you seen horizontal? Some states? I've seen them really around here,
- 14:13Speaker 3: though not this area.
- 14:16Speaker 1: A lot of the Jersey Shore, I think too.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I've seen them at the Jersey Shore.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I've seen them in little like vacation towns because they're
- 14:21Speaker 4: a little more aesthetically pleasing.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Recap here, what year is three hundred and sixty six days?
- 14:26Speaker 1: A leap year? What famous city in Italy starts with
- 14:29Speaker 1: the letter V? Since Becker over here got this from Chatchubt,
- 14:33Speaker 1: what you'll say, Venice is the correct answer, but not
- 14:35Speaker 1: get these from I watch a lot of these trivia
- 14:39Speaker 1: videos and I get them from them. Yeah, there's a
- 14:41Speaker 1: lot of famous cities in Italy that start with letter V.
- 14:44Speaker 1: All right, fine? Is Verona another one? Isn't that in Shakespeare?
- 14:49Speaker 1: That is in Shakespeare? Yeah?
- 14:50Speaker 3: Isn't that Romeo and Juliet?
- 14:51Speaker 1: How smart we are Romeo and Juliet is watch it?
- 14:55Speaker 5: No?
- 14:55Speaker 3: Okay? Right? Fair Verona.
- 14:58Speaker 1: When I was a sophomore and school, we did a
- 15:01Speaker 1: performance tour of Italy with the choir, and I know
- 15:03Speaker 1: we were supposed to go to Varona, but our flight
- 15:05Speaker 1: got all delayed, so we'd missed that day.
- 15:07Speaker 3: So I've never been to Barona. Cool.
- 15:09Speaker 1: That would have been cool now and I loved a
- 15:12Speaker 1: much better story. Yeah, right, Instead I was stuck in
- 15:16Speaker 1: Germany Frankfurt.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Did they let you out out of the airport?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Now we know, we just sucked around in the airport.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Which, hey, I rather be stuck in Frankfurt, Germany an
- 15:24Speaker 1: airport than here in the United States. Any So, right now, anyway,
- 15:32Speaker 1: that's all we can do is what food depend is
- 15:35Speaker 1: eat bamboo on horizontal traffic lights the green light is
- 15:39Speaker 1: on the far right, far right.
- 15:42Speaker 3: That I could not my brain could not process that.
- 15:45Speaker 3: What car brand slogan is built to last?
- 15:47Speaker 1: A Ford?
- 15:48Speaker 3: Ah, don't you drive a Ford?
- 15:51Speaker 5: No?
- 15:51Speaker 3: You used to Chevy. You You're I'm impressed.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I did like Chevy or your Forward? I plead the fifth. Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: what's the analogies that you have for Ford? Because, like
- 16:02Speaker 1: you know, theres are repaired daily?
- 16:04Speaker 3: Exactly? Did I take the joke? Did I take the
- 16:09Speaker 3: touch nice? Either that one or found on road dead?
- 16:12Speaker 3: I've heard that one before too.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I thought them it's funny. But you know what I've
- 16:16Speaker 4: noticed is driving a Chevy. Now, people don't say that stuff,
- 16:19Speaker 4: but when they say when they hear that you have
- 16:21Speaker 4: a Ford, they do say that stuff. So there's no
- 16:23Speaker 4: weirdness against I swear to god, I've never heard anyone
- 16:26Speaker 4: say anything weird about my Chevy. They make fun of
- 16:29Speaker 4: it being an electric vehicle. That's what they make fun of.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Marie Curry was the first person to win the Nobel
- 16:34Speaker 1: Peace Prize. And The Black Panther takes place in Wakandada.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I love that movie. The largest largest mammal in the
- 16:43Speaker 1: world is a blue whale.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I thought Joe would say your mom no, because usually me, Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 2: you can be look.
- 16:51Speaker 3: At you make me out to be some sort of
- 16:53Speaker 3: criminal joking with you.
- 16:55Speaker 1: The situation is a cast member of Jersey shore Man
- 16:59Speaker 1: Love Jersey Shore. I was like of the generation to
- 17:02Speaker 1: love Jersey Shore.
- 17:03Speaker 4: I was the generation before that, which was what was
- 17:05Speaker 4: it called the real world.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, being that we're both forty eight, I totally relate
- 17:09Speaker 2: to what she's saying.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Jersey Shore.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I remember like being specifically told that I was not
- 17:16Speaker 1: allowed to watch it, and I would still figure out
- 17:18Speaker 1: a way to watch it every week.
- 17:19Speaker 4: That was Snookie and yeah like Jesse J and all that.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Jesse J Jay. Wow, that's what it was. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 3: I knew it was something of a j jesse J
- 17:28Speaker 3: is a pop star, but you were cool. Really, I'm sorry, JESSEJ.
- 17:31Speaker 3: My apologies. You know a.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Couple of Jesse J songs I do Domino, I'm feeling sexy,
- 17:37Speaker 1: yeah and freeing on me.
- 17:42Speaker 5: See Trivia Changients GC Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker
- 17:50Speaker 5: and Joe.
- 17:52Speaker 3: What are you drinking? Oh?
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm on a soda kick as of recently, but now
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm drinking the cheap Giant soda because why pay brand name?
- 17:59Speaker 1: You know, I don't need a brand name Coca Cola,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't need the brand name Doctor Pepper. I'll drink
- 18:03Speaker 1: Doctor Bob from Giant, thank you very much. And that's
- 18:05Speaker 1: what it's called. Yes, really, doctor, I love that. Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 1: that sounds like something you would make up, but it
- 18:11Speaker 1: actually been Doctor. There's a brand called doctor. I remember Doctor. Yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 1: missed marketing opportunity because instead of calling it Dr Pepper,
- 18:19Speaker 1: Doctor Bob, they should have called it doctor Salt.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Because then, you know, it's like a take on for salt. Pepper.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It's not doctor Pepper, it's doctor Salt. You're being all
- 18:26Speaker 1: clever today.
- 18:27Speaker 3: See Giant should have hired me for your marketing. But
- 18:30Speaker 3: no hashtag sponsorship.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Just such a good show we do.
- 18:35Speaker 3: What do you think? Pleased and confused? Random thoughts? Let
- 18:40Speaker 3: me start with the random thoughts. All right, go ahead.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So I saw this. What's your name? Her name is
- 18:46Speaker 1: Rachel Cohen. She's an attorney from out on the West coast,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and she's saying that some people, in protest of today's
- 18:54Speaker 1: current political climate, i e. You know, the war the
- 18:58Speaker 1: exclusion that's going on right now, as he calls it,
- 19:02Speaker 1: they're not paying their taxes, their federal income taxes here
- 19:05Speaker 1: listen to or talk about it here.
- 19:06Speaker 6: I'm on player, I'm not paying my federal income tax
- 19:08Speaker 6: this year. I am an attorney. This is obviously not
- 19:11Speaker 6: legal advice. And so I filed my taxes after I
- 19:14Speaker 6: got all of my ten ninety nine's and my W
- 19:16Speaker 6: nine form my original employer, and I owed about eighty
- 19:19Speaker 6: eight hundred dollars in federal income tax and about three
- 19:22Speaker 6: thousand dollars in state income tax to Illinois musician Joan
- 19:25Speaker 6: Bias used to withhold sixty percent of the taxes that
- 19:29Speaker 6: she owed the government at the end of every year
- 19:31Speaker 6: as a form of protest over the sixty percent of
- 19:34Speaker 6: the budget that went to the military industrial complex. So
- 19:38Speaker 6: this is not new, but me not paying federal income
- 19:40Speaker 6: tax is new.
- 19:41Speaker 3: It doesn't make a lot of sense, does it. Like
- 19:43Speaker 3: I want it to make sense, but to me, it doesn't.
- 19:45Speaker 1: It's too risky for me.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Exactly what's going to happen.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I'm still got pay taxes whether you want to or not,
- 19:52Speaker 4: whether you like what's going on or not. It's completely separate.
- 19:58Speaker 4: If it worked that way, it would be glorious. But
- 20:01Speaker 4: it doesn't work that way. That should be our protest, though,
- 20:04Speaker 4: everybody that doesn't like what's going on. Everybody should just
- 20:06Speaker 4: not pay their taxes. Like, think about what kind of
- 20:08Speaker 4: impact that would if a lot of people did it.
- 20:10Speaker 4: You try convincing your mom and my dad not to
- 20:12Speaker 4: be their taxes, Well, right, no.
- 20:15Speaker 3: They got to keep the bail money for me. I'm
- 20:17Speaker 3: sure my mom would be.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like, yeah, let's not do that anymore. It's like, yeah, okay, no,
- 20:23Speaker 1: no way.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I love I love the idea. I love the idea.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I wish it worked that way. I wish it had
- 20:28Speaker 4: more of an impact.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Any more money. You know.
- 20:31Speaker 2: You know what I was thinking about, Why can I
- 20:32Speaker 2: Can I just buy a plot of land and create
- 20:35Speaker 2: my own graveyard.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Your own graveyard. Can I do that?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Why?
- 20:38Speaker 3: He was like, the easiest money in the world. Do
- 20:40Speaker 3: you want to own a graveyard?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Why not?
- 20:42Speaker 3: You want? It's just buying land and people putting bodies
- 20:45Speaker 3: in it. That's actually not a bad idea.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Can I do that? By the way, Can I just
- 20:48Speaker 1: do that?
- 20:48Speaker 4: There's obviously a lot of permitting and zoning. It's my
- 20:52Speaker 4: own it's it's my yard. But I'm sure there has
- 20:55Speaker 4: to be zoning for for human remains, huh, And I'm
- 21:00Speaker 4: oh my god, look I would oh my god, oh
- 21:05Speaker 4: my god.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yes, like law people, there is definitely zoning and laws
- 21:12Speaker 1: concerning what.
- 21:13Speaker 3: You put in the ground.
- 21:15Speaker 2: All I'm saying is that it seems like an easy
- 21:18Speaker 2: money thing, Like it just seems like people are just
- 21:20Speaker 2: gonna give.
- 21:20Speaker 1: You ten thousand dollars to put their body in the.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Room, and if you put them deep enough, you can
- 21:26Speaker 3: just like.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Stack them on top of them. See that seems like
- 21:29Speaker 2: a zoning issue.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's one thing that I've thought about though, Like really
- 21:34Speaker 1: really old graveyards. Like eventually, you know, the tombstones fall
- 21:38Speaker 1: apart and the family there's no family around anymore.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Because they died a couple thousand years ago.
- 21:42Speaker 1: So what happens, Like, what do you put more bodies
- 21:44Speaker 1: after they're all decomposed in there? Mmm? I don't know.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I was walking over in Bethlehem the other day and
- 21:50Speaker 2: I went through the cemetery called Nisky Hill. It's really
- 21:52Speaker 2: old and really beautiful and it overlooks what are you
- 21:55Speaker 2: doing to me? But I was looking at some of
- 21:58Speaker 2: the graves because I'm curious. I'm like, a lot of
- 21:59Speaker 2: these people died in like seventeen thirteen, seventeen, wy it's
- 22:03Speaker 2: really really old. I'm just looking at the old headstones
- 22:05Speaker 2: and stuff. It was pretty cool that they've been there
- 22:07Speaker 2: for that long. Yeah, that's wild. Yeah, So I was like,
- 22:11Speaker 2: why why can't I just buy a plot of land
- 22:13Speaker 2: and throw some people in it and make money?
- 22:16Speaker 4: Next you're going to ask if you can buy like
- 22:18Speaker 4: a like a pizza burning oven for out back and
- 22:21Speaker 4: do cremated cremation.
- 22:23Speaker 3: With a pizza oven.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Come on, buy one hundred bucks a puck. I'll do
- 22:27Speaker 1: it all day anyway, What else we were talking about.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Well, no, that's what we were talking about. Chuck Norris
- 22:34Speaker 2: died too, by the way, eighty six years old. You
- 22:36Speaker 2: don't know much about Chuck Norris, right, That's like, you know,
- 22:39Speaker 2: we don't care about the extent of my knowledge of
- 22:41Speaker 2: Chuck Norris.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Is like in elementary school, when one kid would jokingly
- 22:45Speaker 1: like punch another kid, they would say, Chuck Norris.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Oh you went through that phase. Okay, what your Texas Ranger?
- 22:53Speaker 4: What did a Chuck Norris do?
- 22:54Speaker 3: That's I just said it Walker Texas. He's probably the
- 22:57Speaker 3: most famous for that. He was on a TV show. Yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 3: that's what Western. It was like a Western.
- 23:02Speaker 1: He was like a karate you know.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he was. He was Chuck Morrise.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I don't know exactly what he was famous for, but
- 23:09Speaker 3: I know that he was. He was champion, like jiu
- 23:11Speaker 3: jitsu fighter and stuff like that.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Yeah, And he seemed like a solid guy. And didn't
- 23:16Speaker 3: you have a except for the end a little Was
- 23:19Speaker 3: he getting a little weird getting a little trumpet? Was
- 23:21Speaker 3: he really put it this way?
- 23:23Speaker 1: You know we were recording this episode on Monday, March
- 23:26Speaker 1: twenty third, right, and he got a nice little rip
- 23:31Speaker 1: tweet there from the President Chuck Norris did. Robert Moeller,
- 23:35Speaker 1: on the other hand, did not. He didn't get a
- 23:37Speaker 1: good one, I don't think Robert Moeller. Yeah, no, he
- 23:40Speaker 1: got the one that said, I'm glad he's dead. Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 1: it's a little harsh, don't you think even for that dude.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I mean, like he said some pretty fun up should
- 23:47Speaker 1: but I'm glad he's dead.
- 23:49Speaker 3: We are not a political.
- 23:52Speaker 4: No, no, we are just a bunch of friends putting
- 23:55Speaker 4: out random thoughts.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Random thoughts.
- 23:57Speaker 2: You read the first one? Or what happened in that
- 23:58Speaker 2: Florida recent Hey, when you make me read your thoughts,
- 24:00Speaker 2: it's fun.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Though.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Florida bill that sought to ban marriage between first cousins
- 24:06Speaker 1: failed to pass in the state Senate. So if you're
- 24:11Speaker 1: in Florida and you dig your cousin, you can still
- 24:14Speaker 1: get in there if you want.
- 24:16Speaker 3: It failed to pass.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Get in there if you want. The wording is impeccable.
- 24:22Speaker 1: You al, That's all I wanted you to read.
- 24:25Speaker 3: It failed to pass.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh, I learned this week that durfing means to have
- 24:28Speaker 2: sex with clothes on. Did you ever hear that durfing?
- 24:32Speaker 3: No?
- 24:32Speaker 1: But that's a hilarious word dry just dry humping. Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: basically it's dry hump. Okay, yeah, durfinging. Last Saturday night,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I was durfing.
- 24:43Speaker 4: God who says that like thirteen year old boys that
- 24:46Speaker 4: don't even know what it means?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. I love how you worded this.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I learned this week that durfing means to have sex
- 24:53Speaker 1: with your clothes on. How exactly did you learn this
- 24:56Speaker 1: week that durfing means to have sex with your clothes on? Like?
- 24:59Speaker 2: What was the It was like a like Instagram or
- 25:02Speaker 2: something like that that she was a kid. I noticed,
- 25:05Speaker 2: So I didn't say Facebook.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I've been trying to be cool with the younger kids
- 25:08Speaker 3: and using Instagram more.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Instagram is still not as cool as TikTok. That's all right,
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm getting there, all right. I have TikTok on my phone.
- 25:15Speaker 1: It just you know, I don't open it. Yeah, if
- 25:17Speaker 1: you want everything two weeks before you see it on
- 25:19Speaker 1: Instagram reels, you can watch TikTok. All right, I'm ready
- 25:21Speaker 1: to move on.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I don't agree. All right, let's do some trivia then,
- 25:27Speaker 3: who's going first? You can this time?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Actually, I want to question number one wild make up
- 25:32Speaker 1: your mind I got it in before question one, so
- 25:34Speaker 1: that means I get to go first. Here we go.
- 25:37Speaker 3: What US state borders four Great Lakes? What? What US
- 25:43Speaker 3: state borders four of those great lakes?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Sure about this chat EPT I did not or not
- 25:48Speaker 1: from chat EPC, I have been boycotting it. Okay, Sure,
- 25:52Speaker 1: now the people I get these jokes are not jokes.
- 25:54Speaker 1: But these questions from shut up? Is this for me
- 25:59Speaker 1: as well? They may have gotten it from tell me no, No,
- 26:01Speaker 1: you're the lifeline. Oh God can come to you when
- 26:05Speaker 1: I want. I want to go here, all right? What
- 26:08Speaker 1: US state borders for great Lakes? Part of me thinks
- 26:13Speaker 1: Michigan right away, because, like you know, Lake Michigan.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I think, is Michigan up towards like Canada? Does Michigan
- 26:19Speaker 3: touch canada Ish? Maybe? No, does it touch it? I
- 26:24Speaker 3: don't think it touches it. I don't know.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I don't think so. No, that sounds wrong. I'm between Michigan.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I don't know why I think Michigan. Read this a
- 26:32Speaker 1: question again? What US state borders for Great Lakes four?
- 26:36Speaker 1: That seems like a lot I can't even name for
- 26:38Speaker 1: great lakes.
- 26:40Speaker 2: That was gonna be my next part of the question.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I say, you would have got that wrong. The Great
- 26:46Speaker 2: Lake of Little period. Oh okay, yeah, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan,
- 27:01Speaker 2: U Superior.
- 27:04Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna say New York final answer you
- 27:07Speaker 1: are on?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Don't tell me it's Michigan, indeed, Michigan. Yeah, what are they?
- 27:17Speaker 2: I don't know, man, really, I don't know. I thought
- 27:21Speaker 2: about writing it down and I just forgot. Well now
- 27:23Speaker 2: we have to look it up. But I think it's Michigan, Michigan, Ontario.
- 27:29Speaker 3: That's the one. Remember was Ontario and that other one? Superior?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Is it?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Is it Superior? I no, I think Superior is the
- 27:36Speaker 3: other way. Oh.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Actually, Google says there's five around Michigan, Superior, Michigan here, Huron.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh, Uron, I keep forgetting about that one, Gari and Ontario. Yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 2: I got most of them right.
- 27:48Speaker 3: All right, let's ask another question. Okay, question too.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna stick with my gut for this one. You
- 27:53Speaker 1: better believe it.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Which brand slogan is your mom the snack that smiles back?
- 28:03Speaker 2: I told you I was gonna go with my gut
- 28:05Speaker 2: for Sandy my mom is that snack that smiles back?
- 28:10Speaker 3: I wouldn't mind that.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Smiles back?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Which brand slogan is the snack that smiles back.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Man, So it's a snack? Yeah?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Could it be?
- 28:26Speaker 3: I'm so hungry.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Could it be Pringles because the face of the Pringles guy.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Well there, once you pop, you don't stop. That kind
- 28:34Speaker 3: of thing. That's isn't that what that is? Springles? Once
- 28:36Speaker 3: you pop you can't stop? Am I wrong about that?
- 28:40Speaker 4: No?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Anyway, the answer is not Fringles. I was just helping
- 28:43Speaker 2: you out there. Snack that smiles back? What has faces
- 28:46Speaker 2: on it?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Something that like you would think if that's the slogan,
- 28:48Speaker 1: that that would involve them.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Oh, I'm thinking about walking through that aisle. I'm walking
- 28:54Speaker 4: through that aisle.
- 28:55Speaker 1: He's over there, frantically googling to make sure he's correct.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Pringle slogan, once you pop you can't stop.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I was okay, Dick again, Oh I forgot what we're doing.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Smiles which slogan is the snack that smiles back.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Snack that smiles back. Do you want a hint? I
- 29:17Speaker 3: can give you a hint. Sure people hate that I
- 29:19Speaker 3: do this, but uh, it's a cracker soul. Am I.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Everyone knows that no one has ever questioned that you
- 29:28Speaker 2: were the whitest guy. I've ever met my life come
- 29:30Speaker 2: into question once it's any Oh, oh goldfish, hmm, goldfish
- 29:39Speaker 2: smiles you smile.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, well they're not frowning. It should be the way
- 29:44Speaker 1: the world has gone.
- 29:47Speaker 3: A smile on them. I never even I thought they
- 29:49Speaker 3: were just like curved. You didn't know.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Well, he's trying to tell me it's not goldfish. Now
- 29:53Speaker 1: if he's saying he didn't know, no, I didn't say that.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Whatever you want, man, I'm just all right, fine, then goldfish.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Finally answer, you are right?
- 30:01Speaker 3: Oh I.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Saw your face. That was funny. Hey, you got it? Goldfish, goldfish,
- 30:08Speaker 1: there's yeah, we buy them in buckets. Yes, what is it?
- 30:14Speaker 1: What's in the goldfish? I hear they're really bad for you?
- 30:17Speaker 3: Well, they have the recipe master. They have the recipe master.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Because you eat one, you eat, need to eat another,
- 30:23Speaker 1: You have to have another one, you have to keep
- 30:24Speaker 1: going like it's it's tough. Yeah, it's addicted.
- 30:27Speaker 3: You just eat one at a time.
- 30:29Speaker 1: No, have you ever had one goldfish at a time.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It's like a minimum of ten. What I would love
- 30:36Speaker 1: to know is what I would love to know is
- 30:38Speaker 1: what's the serving size on goldfish?
- 30:40Speaker 3: Like how many are you supposed to eat.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Look it up, because I can guarantee you I've I've
- 30:46Speaker 2: eaten that number, because every time I have goldfish, I
- 30:49Speaker 2: eat the whole bag pretty much easy.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I'm in the bags child.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Well, I have two teenagers at home, so you know
- 30:59Speaker 4: we buy them in these gigantic boxes.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Serving size is fifty five pieces.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Yeah, give me count them out. No, that's bad.
- 31:08Speaker 2: That's what you should get in your lunch box for
- 31:11Speaker 2: you know. That doesn't still too bad?
- 31:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm happy with that's.
- 31:15Speaker 2: The next week, and we'll eat fifty five of them.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Have to count them, Yeah, we'll count them. That's what
- 31:21Speaker 2: we do next week. For the monchy minute, I'm.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Pleasantly surprised that it's fifty five. I was prepared for
- 31:25Speaker 1: the Google search to return back with, like, you know,
- 31:27Speaker 1: fourteen or something.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Question three, if I bring those goldfish in, what flavor
- 31:35Speaker 2: should I get?
- 31:36Speaker 3: The normal ones?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Just the plain?
- 31:38Speaker 3: Yeah? Classic ones? Good answer? Right? Why do we got
- 31:42Speaker 3: to flavor everything up? Now?
- 31:43Speaker 1: I agree?
- 31:43Speaker 2: I couldn't agree more original. I like a plain pizza.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I don't need all this shit on my pizza. I
- 31:48Speaker 2: like a plain pizza. I like things like that.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Well, see on pizza on pizza. I want some pepperoni.
- 31:53Speaker 3: I still like pepperoni, don't get me wrong. But I
- 31:54Speaker 3: love a plane. I love a plane cheese. Something about
- 31:57Speaker 3: a plan cheese? Do you think?
- 31:59Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:00Speaker 3: What connects muscles to bones? Tendons?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Are you sure? You're very quick?
- 32:08Speaker 3: Muscles? Bones, tendons? What else could there be? Tendons?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Oh?
- 32:15Speaker 3: Oh, tendons? What connects muscles to what? Bones?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:21Speaker 3: What connects? What connects muscles to bones? What else would
- 32:25Speaker 3: it be? Tendons?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Tendons? I do say, I'm sticking with my I'm sticking
- 32:36Speaker 1: with my gut.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Is your answer going to be tendons tendons? Final answer?
- 32:40Speaker 1: You got it?
- 32:42Speaker 2: Trying to throw them off. I thought we're gonna say
- 32:44Speaker 2: like ligaments.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Ligaments, That's what I was thinking.
- 32:46Speaker 3: And I was like, no, no, I don't. I don't
- 32:49Speaker 3: know a little bit tendon or ligament.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a real thing, science says, glad. You went
- 32:57Speaker 2: with your gut, y'all. Every time I go with my gout,
- 33:00Speaker 2: I'm correct, you go.
- 33:01Speaker 3: With your gut. What does that feel like? What is
- 33:04Speaker 3: what does your gut tell you? How do you know?
- 33:06Speaker 3: And I know I don't.
- 33:08Speaker 2: You don't, No, I don't Okay, what about numbers. You
- 33:10Speaker 2: go with numbers, No, don't, that's right, you're not a
- 33:12Speaker 2: numbers guy. This one's about numbers.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Let's do this question four twenty What.
- 33:19Speaker 2: The number L is is? What value in Roman numeral?
- 33:25Speaker 2: What the number L?
- 33:28Speaker 3: There's an L?
- 33:29Speaker 1: What value in Roman numeral? I have no idea there's
- 33:32Speaker 1: an L. Yeah, I've definitely seen it before. Oh man,
- 33:37Speaker 1: I feel dumb. I'll tell you this.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I think it was in the most recent Super Bowl. Like, oh,
- 33:41Speaker 2: you're right, it was. This is an L mean in
- 33:45Speaker 2: Roman numeral? Okay, number wise? Maybe it's like twenty.
- 33:50Speaker 3: What Roman numerals do you know up to?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Like in your head?
- 33:53Speaker 3: Like V is five? Al right, I is one? Okay,
- 33:57Speaker 3: it's like all I know? X is ten? Right? Two?
- 34:00Speaker 1: Eyes is too?
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 34:01Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah?
- 34:03Speaker 1: And then isn't there some weird rule where if there's
- 34:05Speaker 1: like an eye before or after the V, then you
- 34:07Speaker 1: like take one away or add one or whatever. Yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: but that's about all I know L twenty. Why do
- 34:16Speaker 1: I think twenty? It's not one hundred because there hasn't
- 34:18Speaker 1: been one hundred Super bowls?
- 34:22Speaker 3: Ten is X? Right?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Yes? Do you ever see X and X together? Maybe
- 34:34Speaker 1: with your pornography was discussed earlier. That was there was
- 34:37Speaker 1: three X on the one pornography I bought.
- 34:40Speaker 3: The one pornography that you bought. I forgot what we
- 34:46Speaker 3: were talking about.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Read your question again. Sorry, I three of the number L. Oh,
- 34:49Speaker 1: the number L the number L. That sounds so weird
- 34:52Speaker 1: to say. Is what value? In Roman Numerican? I'm gonna
- 34:54Speaker 1: say twenty. No, no, I'm gonna say twenty. Final answer,
- 34:59Speaker 1: but what is it? Is it fifty fifty? Yeah?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Man, I thought that would be one that you had
- 35:05Speaker 2: asked your trivia question or trivia nights.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I was probably sure of it. Probably. Yeah, that's what
- 35:10Speaker 3: I had for you this week.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Those are pretty difficult, right, Yeah, I did all right,
- 35:14Speaker 2: mostly me just kind of trying to throw you off.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Yeah, good one, and I get half. I know we
- 35:18Speaker 1: don't keep score, but yeah, we'll say that. Great there, hard,
- 35:23Speaker 1: good job, BECA. How many of those? Did you know
- 35:25Speaker 1: I didn't come to I didn't come to you for
- 35:28Speaker 1: you didn't come to me for shit?
- 35:29Speaker 3: Yeah I knew better, No offense. Sorry, question number one?
- 35:38Speaker 3: All right?
- 35:38Speaker 1: In typical Joel fashion, I only pulled three questions and
- 35:41Speaker 1: that four, so I mean each the fourth will be
- 35:43Speaker 1: really good.
- 35:44Speaker 2: All right, let's do I'm on a different planet right now,
- 35:47Speaker 2: so let's see what happens there.
- 35:48Speaker 1: We're gonna go with international geography. Since you just said
- 35:52Speaker 1: that you don't know where you are, You're on Earth?
- 35:54Speaker 1: All right, thank you. I'm gonna ask you more about
- 35:56Speaker 1: the earth cool In what city would you find the
- 35:59Speaker 1: Spanish I don't know. In what city would you find
- 36:05Speaker 1: the Spanish steps. I'm gonna say like Lisbon or something,
- 36:09Speaker 1: or Portugal? Is it in Portugal? No?
- 36:13Speaker 3: They speak Spanish there they do Spain. Is it in Spain?
- 36:17Speaker 3: Do they speak Spanish?
- 36:19Speaker 1: And Portugal? I think they speak Portuguese and Portugal? Don't
- 36:22Speaker 1: they they speak they speak Portuguese. It's very Portugal. Yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 1: that's also Spanish. But anyway, always your question, my question
- 36:33Speaker 1: was where would you find the Spanish steps international geography?
- 36:39Speaker 1: I don't know Man, Spain and Spanish is wrong? Correct
- 36:46Speaker 1: answer is Rome, Italy, Italy. I think a lot of
- 36:52Speaker 1: people know that, though really I don't know that at all. Well,
- 36:57Speaker 1: I mean, if you travel ever, like that's like one
- 36:59Speaker 1: thing you do. If you go to Italy, you see
- 37:01Speaker 1: the Spanish steps. Yeah, I sang on the Spanish steps
- 37:04Speaker 1: with them.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Look at you, big shots.
- 37:09Speaker 1: What a cool guy. Yeah, I know, that's my big flex.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I peaked in high school when I was seventeen. It's
- 37:15Speaker 1: a problem.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Spanish steps. I think they were like a gift from
- 37:19Speaker 1: the Spanish or something. Wouldn't that make sense? They said
- 37:22Speaker 1: here some stairs. That's nice of them.
- 37:24Speaker 3: I wonder why it's called the Spanish steps in Italy.
- 37:27Speaker 4: Now would be a perfect time to look that up.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Why is the Spanish steps called the Spanish steps. They
- 37:32Speaker 1: simply took their name from the Piazza d Oh, I
- 37:37Speaker 1: love that, Spegania, spaghetti, the Spanish Square, the Spanish Square,
- 37:42Speaker 1: which was turned named for the Spanish embassy to the
- 37:47Speaker 1: Holy See.
- 37:47Speaker 3: I have no idea what that means. I have no
- 37:49Speaker 3: idea what I said, any idea what you just said? No, no,
- 37:52Speaker 3: you just sight read it. I love it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: So they're inspired by the Spanish. So that's why they're
- 37:57Speaker 1: called the Spanish steps. See you learn a lot? Question
- 38:01Speaker 1: All right, let's go with people here for question two.
- 38:03Speaker 1: People This guy, Honestly, I was gonna make the category
- 38:08Speaker 1: dead people, but then I gave it one more like
- 38:11Speaker 1: Google search.
- 38:12Speaker 3: And he's indeed alive. So not dead people category. Okay.
- 38:17Speaker 1: He's known as the second man to set foot on
- 38:19Speaker 1: the moon. What's his name, buzz Aldrin. Yeah, I love space.
- 38:26Speaker 1: That's so cool. I know you hated it. Do you
- 38:28Speaker 1: think it's lame?
- 38:29Speaker 3: And I don't think I hate it. I just think
- 38:30Speaker 3: it's kind of boring.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Hmmm.
- 38:32Speaker 3: It's incredible. Buzz Aldrin.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I remember him because when I was in like I
- 38:37Speaker 1: don't know, fourth or fifth grade, he was on Dancing
- 38:39Speaker 1: with the Stars.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you remember him from.
- 38:43Speaker 4: I think I remember him from that too, But we
- 38:45Speaker 4: learned about I remember him learning.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I remember learning.
- 38:47Speaker 4: I was more impressed with the second guy that went
- 38:49Speaker 4: out than versus than the first one.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I always remembered buzz Aldrin. Who's the first one? Nile something?
- 38:56Speaker 3: Neil Armstrong?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Oh Neil, Yeah, I was gonna say Lance, but he
- 39:00Speaker 1: he's the biite guy. Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 4: He had tarticular cancer, talk about that. Yeah, and uh,
- 39:08Speaker 4: he won the Tour de France, Like how many times
- 39:10Speaker 4: he hates.
- 39:11Speaker 2: That's the first thing people go to, Oh, I had
- 39:13Speaker 2: ball cancer.
- 39:15Speaker 3: He cheated. He cheated, That's what I think of.
- 39:18Speaker 4: If he hadn't cheated, I would probably think, Oh, he
- 39:21Speaker 4: won the Tour de France more.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I would think that, but he cheated. Yeah.
- 39:25Speaker 1: No, Now the first thing that comes to mind when
- 39:27Speaker 1: I hear Lance Armstrong is the bracelets and the fact
- 39:30Speaker 1: that he cheated. I didn't know about his ball cancer.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Oh really, now this is his news to you. Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I didn't know about that. This is a very educational
- 39:38Speaker 1: At question three, all.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Right, let's go with cars. Here.
- 39:44Speaker 1: There's a three part answer. Hopefully you can handle this
- 39:47Speaker 1: three part answer. Yeah right.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I couldn't get the one part in the last lesson anyway,
- 39:52Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Due to financial problems. General Motors in two thousand and
- 39:57Speaker 1: nine and twenty ten phased down out what three car models?
- 40:05Speaker 3: What is your It's wrong with you?
- 40:08Speaker 1: What?
- 40:09Speaker 3: What is wrong with you?
- 40:11Speaker 1: I think that you could do this if you were sober?
- 40:13Speaker 1: All right, man, calm down, you know this is better.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Relax everyone relaxed, all right, all right.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Just think about you.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Three GM brands that are no longer around that went
- 40:24Speaker 1: away in twenty ten and two thousand and nine.
- 40:28Speaker 2: G O is Geo one of them. No, it wasn't
- 40:30Speaker 2: like a Geo tracker, wasn't It was that that was
- 40:32Speaker 2: a Chevy thing. Oh yeah, I can't read lives anyway, though, I.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Can't do it. What go to your go to your
- 40:39Speaker 3: lifeline if you need help.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, hey Beckha, Yeah, I'm thinking maybe a Pontiac Honiac.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Yeah that's a good one.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Okay, two more?
- 40:47Speaker 1: Fuck three? Parter I forgot Oh no.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I knew. I knew that.
- 40:53Speaker 4: I knew that one. Can I keep supplying answers or no? Yeah,
- 40:56Speaker 4: he's going to your Okay, all right, we're stilling.
- 40:58Speaker 3: The lifeline Cavalier is that one?
- 41:02Speaker 5: Oh?
- 41:02Speaker 4: That was a Chevy Cavalier. It's a GM vehicle, but
- 41:06Speaker 4: it wasn't a brand, you know what I mean. It
- 41:09Speaker 4: was a model, but it wasn't a brain Really struggling, dude,
- 41:12Speaker 4: I'm really stone. Oh I love them.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Some difficulties.
- 41:16Speaker 4: So think to think about think of the era of
- 41:18Speaker 4: the Pontiac. What was what was around during the Pontiac.
- 41:22Speaker 2: This is really hard, man, I don't know that's what
- 41:24Speaker 2: she said. Yeah. Uh, I'm gonna yeah, I'm gonna take
- 41:32Speaker 2: too long, and you're just gonna get angrier and angrier.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I can see it on your face.
- 41:39Speaker 3: How are you angry?
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm not angry at all. Okay, I'm glad you got
- 41:42Speaker 1: it wrong. Saturn, Saturn, damn it. And the last one
- 41:49Speaker 1: is hummer the hammer.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Oh my god, they don't make the hummers anymore. Holy crap.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Could you imagine how much it would cost?
- 42:00Speaker 3: I know hummers are expensive too, well, I mean those
- 42:06Speaker 3: those are depending a.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Way to go anyway, question for Honestly, I always hated
- 42:13Speaker 2: that word for that act what like, Yeah, but I
- 42:16Speaker 2: also thought it's eitherways, thought it was really funny.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I know, of all the names to pick for um.
- 42:24Speaker 4: It's still funny anyway, these years, it'll never not It'll
- 42:28Speaker 4: never not be funny.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I am going to ask you a fifth grade science
- 42:32Speaker 1: question though. For my final question, what gas helps potato
- 42:37Speaker 1: chips stay fresh inside the bag?
- 42:40Speaker 3: Nitrogen?
- 42:44Speaker 1: What gas helps potato chips stay fresh inside the bag?
- 42:50Speaker 3: The oxygen? You mean, what mean question?
- 42:53Speaker 4: Love?
- 42:53Speaker 3: How he asked me bullshit and you're like, oh, these
- 42:56Speaker 3: are good questions and that mine are.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Oh you're mean what gas helps potato chips stay fresh
- 43:02Speaker 1: inside the back not just potato chips wearing bullshit? No, No,
- 43:05Speaker 1: I don't even remember what you asked me. What do
- 43:07Speaker 1: you remember either?
- 43:09Speaker 3: Play it that?
- 43:10Speaker 1: What gas helps potato chips stay fresh inside the bag?
- 43:14Speaker 2: Oxygen that's my guess, right, wouldn't it be air in there?
- 43:19Speaker 1: Or nitrogen?
- 43:21Speaker 2: Let me say nitrogen nitrogen or oxygen nitrogen?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Finally answer, oh wait, wait sorry, right, yeah, you're correct,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I pressed the wrong button. I really wanted you to
- 43:33Speaker 1: say no oxygen. I knew it all along.
- 43:36Speaker 3: It's oxygen to gas. Yeah, yeah, it is.
- 43:39Speaker 1: That's how we're.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Living right now. Yeah, but it's a gas technically.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Yeah, see, just like gas. You're welcome.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Ain't gonna partner to the microphone next to.
- 43:52Speaker 3: You, all right, I'm gonna eat. Oh yeah, we have snacks.
- 43:56Speaker 3: It's time for.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Ooh RFK chips.
- 44:05Speaker 2: It's yeah, Dorito's simply naked, so they don't it tells
- 44:11Speaker 2: you everything on the bag right in the front.
- 44:12Speaker 1: No, you know, no artificial coloring. They looked exactly the same.
- 44:16Speaker 1: They're cool ranch. The cool ranch don't have like a
- 44:18Speaker 1: lot of you don't think artificial coloring when you think
- 44:21Speaker 1: cool ranch, do you? I think artificial coloring when I
- 44:24Speaker 1: think the other one, the orange one.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've had these. Do you have? Are
- 44:31Speaker 3: they good? Yeah? Because they're the same thing, right, but there's.
- 44:36Speaker 1: An altered I'm wondering if the taste.
- 44:37Speaker 4: Is tasted to me, the taste was just slightly off,
- 44:41Speaker 4: but I'd say ninety nine point.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Seven. Yeah, to me, this tastes exactly the same.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Yeah all right, let me see. Yeah, it's almost identical.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Dorito's simply naked cool ranch. So they still have the
- 44:54Speaker 2: regular kind, right.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so what's the point it's a marketing scheme
- 44:58Speaker 3: then I think, yeah, well, but the government is very
- 45:02Speaker 3: upfront with us all the time.
- 45:03Speaker 4: They're more expensive, so you're gonna pay, You're gonna pay
- 45:07Speaker 4: for the benefit.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Yeah, this you know how much this was? I think
- 45:12Speaker 3: it was pretty It was like they were expensive, right,
- 45:14Speaker 3: like eight dollars.
- 45:15Speaker 4: I was going to say, like seven six bucks, right, okay,
- 45:18Speaker 4: so six bucks for a bag of chips.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Yeah, plus time.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I just feel like it's a little less there's less
- 45:25Speaker 2: of a coating. I think the coating is a little
- 45:27Speaker 2: bit more white or something on this.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I don't like.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yeah, want thanks RFK for the chips. I appreciate that. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: what else is like dyeing? That's notable that does Cheetos,
- 45:41Speaker 1: So they're doing the same thing with Cheetos.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the bold flavor you love, with no dies
- 45:47Speaker 2: or artificial flavors.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Is there really supposed to be a benefit to that?
- 45:52Speaker 1: I mean, is there any harm in some food?
- 45:55Speaker 4: Some of the food dice. Yeah, some of the food
- 45:58Speaker 4: dies and preservatives have been linked to us types.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Because it's like, why did they added It's an added
- 46:04Speaker 1: chemical introduced into your body.
- 46:06Speaker 3: It gives you cads are.
