- 0:02Speaker 1: This is Teddy teapot Within. Hi guys, um, Welcome to
- 0:13Speaker 1: this week's Teddy teapod Um. For those of you who
- 0:16Speaker 1: listen every week or for those of you who are
- 0:18Speaker 1: tuning in for the first time, most of you know
- 0:22Speaker 1: that the reason I do this podcast is because I
- 0:25Speaker 1: like to help people, and I like to learn, and
- 0:28Speaker 1: I like to grow and I like to evolve. Um.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And the reason I started All In by Teddy had
- 0:38Speaker 1: nothing to do with the business. I had no big
- 0:40Speaker 1: plans on creating a business. I wanted to change my
- 0:44Speaker 1: own life. I wanted to grow. I wanted to feel
- 0:48Speaker 1: good in my own skin. I wanted to know that
- 0:50Speaker 1: I was worth it, and I hadn't felt that way
- 0:53Speaker 1: for quite a long time. And I created my own
- 0:59Speaker 1: happy nous by taking care of myself. And I used
- 1:02Speaker 1: Instagram as a tool to hold me accountable. I would
- 1:07Speaker 1: post my workouts, I would post healthy clean eating, and
- 1:11Speaker 1: I used my followers to help hold me accountable to
- 1:14Speaker 1: what I was doing into the lifestyle changes I was making.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Of course, not everybody's gonna want to do that, and
- 1:22Speaker 1: people started reaching out to me and saying, I want
- 1:25Speaker 1: to do what you're doing, but I want to do
- 1:28Speaker 1: it with you, and that's how the business was formed.
- 1:32Speaker 1: And I realized that my calling, my purpose was not
- 1:36Speaker 1: just to change my life. It was to help others
- 1:38Speaker 1: feel good in their own skin, feel confident, feel comfortable,
- 1:43Speaker 1: reach their goals. No, they're not alone. And that has
- 1:47Speaker 1: been something that lights me up every single day. It
- 1:50Speaker 1: makes me feel proud. I'm excited about it, and I
- 1:53Speaker 1: love every second of what I do, and I know
- 1:57Speaker 1: that so many lives have been changed. I love the
- 2:00Speaker 1: community that's been formed. And something that's been happening in
- 2:04Speaker 1: social media the last couple of days has really been
- 2:10Speaker 1: something I thought I'm not even going to address because
- 2:14Speaker 1: it is very aggressive and it's um it's there are
- 2:19Speaker 1: some hate going with it, and people who don't know
- 2:23Speaker 1: all of the details, or really know any details, or
- 2:26Speaker 1: I've never done the program are saying things. And I
- 2:29Speaker 1: really wanted to take this time to make this not
- 2:33Speaker 1: about talking about the negative of what somebody else is saying,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but to use this as a learning opportunity for all
- 2:41Speaker 1: of us to talk about what's going on, what's going
- 2:44Speaker 1: on in social media, what all in is actually about,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and how this is you know, affecting me, affecting you know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: my life and and also affecting others, because the entire
- 2:56Speaker 1: reason I started, you know, all in and so that
- 3:00Speaker 1: to help others feel good. And now when strangers on
- 3:03Speaker 1: social media are reaching out to my coaches, are reaching
- 3:07Speaker 1: out to clients and and saying hateful things because of
- 3:14Speaker 1: something they know nothing about, it hurts me, UM, and
- 3:18Speaker 1: I don't want that ever to happen, because there are
- 3:21Speaker 1: a few things, you know, come at me as as
- 3:23Speaker 1: as much as you ever want. You know, that is fine,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and people can say you signed up for it by
- 3:28Speaker 1: being on a reality television show, and you know what,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that is fine. But coming after my kids, or my husband,
- 3:34Speaker 1: or my clients or my coaches, that's where I have
- 3:38Speaker 1: to speak out. And you know, I really want this
- 3:40Speaker 1: to be a positive and us to look forward to
- 3:43Speaker 1: what the best is yet to come. And that's why
- 3:46Speaker 1: I wanted to talk about it here because I don't
- 3:48Speaker 1: want to be in a position where I'm not being
- 3:50Speaker 1: completely transparent with every single one of you as I
- 3:53Speaker 1: have always been. UM. Today, I'm gonna bring on Sam
- 3:57Speaker 1: Rubin to do some of your most as questions I've
- 4:00Speaker 1: been getting on Instagram, And thank you guys so much.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Can we bring Sam on? Hi? Hi Sam, Thank you
- 4:08Speaker 1: so much you. I'm happy to do this. And before
- 4:10Speaker 1: I get to those questions, I'm gonna ask you one
- 4:12Speaker 1: of my own. You can clearly hear the emotion in
- 4:15Speaker 1: your voice. Why why is it upsetting to you? I
- 4:19Speaker 1: think it's upsetting to me because you know, when you're
- 4:22Speaker 1: really proud of something, like you know, when you look
- 4:25Speaker 1: at your child and you're like, wow, this is incredible.
- 4:29Speaker 1: This you know, like this, you know she was able
- 4:31Speaker 1: to do this, or she just got her first soccer goal,
- 4:34Speaker 1: or you're so excited for all of their achievements. That's
- 4:38Speaker 1: how I look at my all in community. When I
- 4:41Speaker 1: see that client that is feeling so good that they
- 4:44Speaker 1: asked for that raise at their job, or when I
- 4:47Speaker 1: see that client that is finally leaving an abusive husband
- 4:50Speaker 1: because she knows her worth, or when I see that
- 4:53Speaker 1: client who finally says I am worth taking care of
- 4:57Speaker 1: my health because I've been sick and not taking care
- 5:00Speaker 1: of myself and I've been stagnant and depressed, and now
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'm taking action, I feel good and I feel happy.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And when I see that happiness trying to be dimmed
- 5:11Speaker 1: by strangers on the internet trying to derail other people's happiness.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It makes me feel sad for the world that we
- 5:18Speaker 1: live in. Alright, well said, here's a couple of these questions.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think some of them may be sort of misconceptions
- 5:24Speaker 1: that get amplified to a degree. So this is about
- 5:27Speaker 1: all in. Is the diet really five calories per day?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Of course not, it's not. It never has been, It
- 5:35Speaker 1: never was, it never will be. We will never encourage
- 5:40Speaker 1: anyone to starve. Every person that has different needs, different goals,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and we focus on clean eating. So even the fact
- 5:48Speaker 1: that somebody is saying that is like beyond all right,
- 5:53Speaker 1: the idea do you kick people out if they don't
- 5:56Speaker 1: work out? So when you sign up to the program,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you are signing up to be active every single day.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Active means it could mean playing tennis with your kids,
- 6:08Speaker 1: going for a walk, doing a restorative yoga, doing a
- 6:13Speaker 1: dance class, it's whatever it may be. But if there's
- 6:17Speaker 1: a repeated situation where somebody has signed up for the
- 6:20Speaker 1: program and they're not being active in some capacity, we
- 6:23Speaker 1: aren't doing the job that they're paying us to do.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So yes, if but if there's an emergency and somebody's
- 6:29Speaker 1: like I'm not feeling well or there's a family emergency.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Of course they're not being kicked out. But if somebody's
- 6:34Speaker 1: on day three and they're like, yeah, you know what,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I don't feel like going for a walk, or like,
- 6:38Speaker 1: you know what, I I don't feel like being active
- 6:40Speaker 1: with my kids, or I don't want to do anything today,
- 6:42Speaker 1: but you know, sit on the couch. Then how are
- 6:45Speaker 1: we doing our job by letting you continue to do that?
- 6:48Speaker 1: All right? Back to the diet itself again. You know,
- 6:51Speaker 1: these are sort of random questions. Why no protein? Why soup?
- 6:56Speaker 1: And why not just encourage sort of overall healthy eating.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Well for starters, we do allow protein, we allow lean protein. Also,
- 7:04Speaker 1: so many vegetables are protein rich veggies. So we've got broccoli, spinach,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and kale, what to name a few. And um, soup
- 7:11Speaker 1: for me was such a big thing that was easy
- 7:14Speaker 1: to switch over kind of with my family. Could be
- 7:17Speaker 1: one of those things that had lots of nutrients, was yummy,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but also I could add noodles for the kids at
- 7:22Speaker 1: this for my husband, so it was something that was
- 7:24Speaker 1: easy and caused less stress for me at the end
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the day opening up the pantry and going, oh
- 7:30Speaker 1: my goodness, what am I gonna make? And this is
- 7:32Speaker 1: during the jump start where you're trying to figure out
- 7:35Speaker 1: how to start navigating your life, where you organize your meals,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and a lot of us you have a lot of
- 7:40Speaker 1: you know, bad habits when it comes to you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: eating dinner too late and not eating things that actually
- 7:46Speaker 1: fuel your body. All right, people, sometimes I think monitor
- 7:52Speaker 1: this to a degree. Why are you deleting particular comments?
- 7:57Speaker 1: You know, some people are asking me, why aren't you
- 7:59Speaker 1: deleting more months? I mean, here's the truth. Of course,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I wish I could leave up all commenting because I
- 8:04Speaker 1: like to learn, I like to respond. I love to
- 8:07Speaker 1: engage with the people that are following me on social media.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But certain things, if it's complete hate, it's not necessary.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's not neces necessary for a client to feel that,
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's not necessary for a coach, and it's not necessary
- 8:23Speaker 1: for me. And you know, I think that anybody that's like, wow,
- 8:26Speaker 1: why wouldn't you want to see you know, hateful things
- 8:29Speaker 1: said about you? You got to really think about it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And also, if you are truly wanting information on something,
- 8:37Speaker 1: do you need to be hateful in the way that
- 8:39Speaker 1: you ask? Do you need to say like, because the
- 8:42Speaker 1: exact reason that I started the program started myself started
- 8:46Speaker 1: going all in on me all in forever, was because
- 8:50Speaker 1: I wanted to feel good in my own skin. I
- 8:53Speaker 1: wanted to feel confident. I wanted to take care of myself.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I wanted to feel worth it. And now I have
- 8:58Speaker 1: people coming and say, you're a loser, we hate you,
- 9:01Speaker 1: you're this, you're that. Why would anybody want to see that?
- 9:04Speaker 1: And why would anybody ever want to do that? Like
- 9:06Speaker 1: I would never go on to somebody's page and do that.
- 9:09Speaker 1: So if I want to block some of the hate,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I think it's a little normal, all right, Okay, um,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I think people brings up well, what kind of qualifications
- 9:22Speaker 1: do you have? You know? I think this has been
- 9:25Speaker 1: a big question. And I had gone to a million nutritionists,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I had gone to dietitians, I had gotten to personal trainers.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I had done so many things in my life trying
- 9:38Speaker 1: to figure out how to have a healthy balance lifestyle
- 9:42Speaker 1: and what worked for me, this may not work for everybody,
- 9:45Speaker 1: is actual lived experience, So living the experience knowing what works,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and so for me, I knew that a lot of
- 9:55Speaker 1: people would resonate with this the same way so all
- 9:59Speaker 1: of my coaches once clients. So for me, it was
- 10:02Speaker 1: more important about having somebody that has actually changed their
- 10:06Speaker 1: life on this program, lived this lifestyle to help coach
- 10:10Speaker 1: them to reach their goals versus somebody who has a certificate.
- 10:14Speaker 1: If somebody wanted to sign up for a program with
- 10:17Speaker 1: the nutritionist, this isn't the program for them, and I've
- 10:20Speaker 1: been very transparent about that. On my website. There's the
- 10:24Speaker 1: facts page that says that we are not licensed nutritionists
- 10:27Speaker 1: or personal trainers or anything like that. We are advocates.
- 10:32Speaker 1: We are your friend that tells you what you need
- 10:34Speaker 1: to hear versus what you want to hear, and you
- 10:36Speaker 1: we're your biggest cheerleaders. So people are willingly signing up
- 10:40Speaker 1: knowing that they want to be with somebody that gets it.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's in speaking of getting it, if you've had UM
- 10:47Speaker 1: eating disorders in your own past, do you feel comfortable
- 10:51Speaker 1: promoting daily waynes? I think the biggest thing for everybody.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I mean one when you click through my you know,
- 10:58Speaker 1: uh sign in four or my site, it says do
- 11:01Speaker 1: you have any past eating disorders? Which then this is
- 11:04Speaker 1: not the program for you. UM. But what we do
- 11:07Speaker 1: is we use the scale as a measurement tool. So
- 11:12Speaker 1: it's not punishment, it's not anything like that. But because
- 11:15Speaker 1: our entire business is over the over text message, we
- 11:20Speaker 1: have to have a way to measure your accountability. And
- 11:24Speaker 1: so if it is triggering for you, if stepping on
- 11:27Speaker 1: the scale is something that is triggering you versus going, okay,
- 11:31Speaker 1: this is this is what works for my body and
- 11:33Speaker 1: this doesn't, then that's how you know if this is
- 11:36Speaker 1: the right program for you. And so you find this
- 11:38Speaker 1: out from the very beginning, and that way, that's why
- 11:41Speaker 1: we ask those questions at the beginning when you kind
- 11:43Speaker 1: of log in, this is sort of a tough word.
- 11:47Speaker 1: What about the notion that coaches sometimes bully clients. Is
- 11:51Speaker 1: there a distinction between tough love and bullying? I think
- 11:56Speaker 1: you read what one Absolutely no bulling, there's never been
- 12:00Speaker 1: in building. But you read what kind of client you have.
- 12:03Speaker 1: There are some clients that, you know, it's tons of
- 12:07Speaker 1: tons of like like we're you know, we're there for you,
- 12:12Speaker 1: We're here for you, we love you. You've got this,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you've got this, and there's some clients that that need
- 12:16Speaker 1: and you know, I am one of those people. You
- 12:19Speaker 1: are worth this. Get up, you have got this, we
- 12:21Speaker 1: know you can do it. Remember why you signed up
- 12:24Speaker 1: in the first place, and the reason that you signed
- 12:26Speaker 1: up was to change your life, So was that what
- 12:29Speaker 1: you want to do today? And you know, it really depends.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And that's why it's a very individualized program because every
- 12:37Speaker 1: single client is different. But you can start to easily
- 12:40Speaker 1: tell which each person needs and they're signing up for
- 12:44Speaker 1: a reason, it's what they want. Um do you require
- 12:48Speaker 1: an NDIA for people who do sign up? So we
- 12:51Speaker 1: require a consent form when you come through, which actually
- 12:56Speaker 1: protects them as much as it protects us because we
- 12:59Speaker 1: want to make sure that you are not pregnant, you
- 13:02Speaker 1: have not had a past eating disorder, UM that we
- 13:06Speaker 1: are not licensed professionals and we have no healthcare training.
- 13:10Speaker 1: So when people are saying n d A, we want
- 13:12Speaker 1: to make it clear that this is as much for
- 13:15Speaker 1: you as it is for us. And then when I
- 13:18Speaker 1: I mean, the company has also evolved a lot then
- 13:21Speaker 1: from when I first started, I originally had you know,
- 13:24Speaker 1: an n d A because when I first started the show,
- 13:28Speaker 1: people were signing up solely because they wanted to talk
- 13:31Speaker 1: to me. And then I realized, like, Okay, I need
- 13:34Speaker 1: to put some things in place so that people are
- 13:36Speaker 1: signing up for the right reasons, not just to talk
- 13:39Speaker 1: to a real housewife. We we talked before the podcast began,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and you said, my kids are being home schooled as well.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Get's lunchtime there are the kids. Would this be appropriate,
- 13:49Speaker 1: appropriate program an appropriate diet for kids? Well, I mean,
- 13:53Speaker 1: first start, I I don't like to call in a diet.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I like to call a lifestyle change. But I don't
- 13:59Speaker 1: think any child should diet. No, But do I think
- 14:02Speaker 1: a child should learn from their parents that it's good
- 14:05Speaker 1: to be active and take care of yourself. Like, for example,
- 14:08Speaker 1: my kids and I we go for a walk before
- 14:11Speaker 1: our school day starts, because like any of us, it's
- 14:15Speaker 1: good to like walk and move before we sit on
- 14:17Speaker 1: zooms all day long. And not because we're dieting or
- 14:21Speaker 1: we're watching our weight. It's because that's what puts us
- 14:25Speaker 1: in the best headspace. It's also good to teach your
- 14:27Speaker 1: kids about different foods, different vegetables, what you like, what
- 14:32Speaker 1: you dislike, and every kid is different and so that's
- 14:35Speaker 1: why you want to keep introducing foods to them. For example,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Slate loves all different types of food. She will try anything.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Cruises like if it's not cheese, I don't want it.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So it really is about to continue to try things,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and then when you do that, all of a sudden,
- 14:49Speaker 1: their taste buds of ball. But if you have a
- 14:51Speaker 1: kid that's sitting at home and the only thing that
- 14:53Speaker 1: they're used to eating is macaroni and cheese and cheetos,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and you're not introducing those things, what do you think
- 14:58Speaker 1: they're gonna want to eat as an adult. One thing
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm thinking about in a in a personal way. We're
- 15:12Speaker 1: talking about Housewives and the reunion show. So that's in
- 15:16Speaker 1: one corner. There's all the hubbub here. Do you have
- 15:21Speaker 1: almost a toxicity tolerance? I mean there's there's a lot
- 15:27Speaker 1: of negative energy in kind of both places all at
- 15:31Speaker 1: the same time. I mean, say, I'm do you even
- 15:34Speaker 1: my I'm not discrediting anybody else's, but mine has been
- 15:41Speaker 1: a lot, you know, Like I gave birth and in
- 15:45Speaker 1: my dog died. I gave birth in a pandemic, my
- 15:48Speaker 1: daughter had neurosurgery, the other one had to get her
- 15:52Speaker 1: she amputated the tip of her finger. My son broke
- 15:54Speaker 1: his thump. Like there has been so much, you know,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm on a TV show where like that is just
- 16:00Speaker 1: par for the course. And then you know, this started
- 16:03Speaker 1: happening and I really realized the most important thing for me. Yes,
- 16:08Speaker 1: of course I'm going to be emotional because this is
- 16:10Speaker 1: what I love, It's what I believe in. I care
- 16:12Speaker 1: about people, I care about feeling good, I care about
- 16:15Speaker 1: taking care of people, and I hate to see this toxicity.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But I also know there are so many people at
- 16:21Speaker 1: home right now with so much time on their hands
- 16:24Speaker 1: that they are using their energy to attack others versus
- 16:29Speaker 1: what's going on in their own life, and that breaks
- 16:31Speaker 1: my heart. I mean, I just think for me, I
- 16:36Speaker 1: do my best to look at what I need to
- 16:39Speaker 1: look at and ignore what's not important. But for me,
- 16:43Speaker 1: all in is so important that I knew I couldn't
- 16:46Speaker 1: ignore what was going on here and I didn't want
- 16:48Speaker 1: to be like fighting back with people on the internet
- 16:51Speaker 1: are doing like acting, you know, in a way that
- 16:54Speaker 1: I don't believe in about something I'm so passionate about,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and drawing light to darkness, when like, this is a
- 17:01Speaker 1: light and this is something that I live and breathe,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and it's the thing that I cared the most about
- 17:07Speaker 1: other than you know, my family and my friends, so
- 17:09Speaker 1: like all right the last time. Frankly, I will try
- 17:13Speaker 1: to draw the two together. But with the controversies surrounding
- 17:18Speaker 1: all in and and the housewife stuff, I mean, I
- 17:22Speaker 1: think a lot of people would just be tearing their
- 17:25Speaker 1: hair out that it's it's too much all at once.
- 17:30Speaker 1: You know, I'm really grateful that, for one, I have
- 17:34Speaker 1: a really strong you know, my family gives me a
- 17:36Speaker 1: lot of love, and I give them a lot of love,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and it gives me a lot of happiness. I continue
- 17:40Speaker 1: to remind myself what's important. Um, and I I'm open
- 17:45Speaker 1: and I'm vulnerable, and the fact that I can have
- 17:47Speaker 1: these conversations gives me a lot of peace. And you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: there are times where you seriously are like, gosh, I
- 17:53Speaker 1: just want to cry myself to sleep right now. This
- 17:55Speaker 1: is really hard. And any influencer, anybody in the world
- 17:58Speaker 1: of social media that says it is an affect them
- 18:00Speaker 1: from time to time most likely isn't being completely honest.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But um, I think the important thing is just if
- 18:07Speaker 1: you know your why and you know that you're purpose
- 18:11Speaker 1: is good, then you're gonna be okay. Is that how
- 18:15Speaker 1: you feel right now? And that's how I feel, So
- 18:17Speaker 1: like I I'm sad, I'm emotional. I hate to see hate,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you know, like it isn't it isn't good for anybody
- 18:25Speaker 1: to see. And I hate when it happens to others.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I you know, I want us to be in a
- 18:30Speaker 1: place where thank god I did all in. I went
- 18:34Speaker 1: all in on me because I have the ability to
- 18:38Speaker 1: know that this is going to be okay. I am
- 18:41Speaker 1: going to be okay. If this at all happened, you know,
- 18:45Speaker 1: seven years ago, I don't know the position I would
- 18:48Speaker 1: be in. You know, like if I was going through
- 18:49Speaker 1: the same postpartum depression and if I was feeling sad,
- 18:52Speaker 1: if I was feeling worthless and people were coming at
- 18:55Speaker 1: me the way that they were coming now, I don't
- 18:57Speaker 1: know what I would do. And I think that that's
- 18:59Speaker 1: what we really need to think about, is we don't
- 19:01Speaker 1: know where everybody is in this moment. I think he
- 19:04Speaker 1: brought up a really really interesting point. Can you talk
- 19:08Speaker 1: about a little bit how what you did with all
- 19:13Speaker 1: in around seven years ago has given you what I'll
- 19:17Speaker 1: described as renewed strength to tackle all of this now.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So it was so it was actually six years ago
- 19:24Speaker 1: after I had my son. I want to a place
- 19:28Speaker 1: where every day my husband would come home to work,
- 19:32Speaker 1: come home from work, and I would look to him
- 19:34Speaker 1: to validate my day to like, this is what I
- 19:36Speaker 1: did with the kids. Are you proud of me? This
- 19:38Speaker 1: is you know? Like everything was based on did I
- 19:41Speaker 1: get the kids to smile? Right now? Is Edwin happy?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Is everybody else in my life happy? But I'm doing
- 19:47Speaker 1: absolutely nothing to take care of me. And I realized
- 19:52Speaker 1: I feel really alone and I feel really lost. Even
- 19:55Speaker 1: though I'm surrounded by people all of the time, I
- 19:58Speaker 1: feel scared. I don't know who I am, I don't
- 20:01Speaker 1: know how, and I wasn't sharing at this point. I
- 20:04Speaker 1: was just everything is perfect and that toxic positivity of
- 20:08Speaker 1: life is great every single day. And you know, I
- 20:12Speaker 1: knew I couldn't live like that. I had to be authentic.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I had to find something in me that believed in
- 20:19Speaker 1: myself again. And so once I started taking steps to
- 20:23Speaker 1: take action to change my life, then I started believing
- 20:27Speaker 1: in myself again. I started creating habits where I could
- 20:29Speaker 1: trust myself again. That's a huge thing. When you keep
- 20:32Speaker 1: breaking your own trust, then you don't believe in yourself
- 20:35Speaker 1: because you consistently let yourself down. And that's the importance
- 20:39Speaker 1: of being held accountable. At first, you I couldn't do
- 20:42Speaker 1: it myself. I really couldn't. I was falling on deaf
- 20:46Speaker 1: ears when I would vent to my friends, you know,
- 20:48Speaker 1: like it was something that I had to take action on.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And that's why so many people sign up for the
- 20:53Speaker 1: program in the first place. We want to easily give up.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We want to say, you know, this is happening to me,
- 20:59Speaker 1: and I don't want to take care of myself because
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'm not worth it. Well, we all, we all are
- 21:04Speaker 1: worth it, every single one of us. Whatever your personal
- 21:07Speaker 1: goals are and may have nothing to do with health,
- 21:10Speaker 1: health and fitness, but you know what, every single one
- 21:13Speaker 1: of us is worth it. That's really will said. I'll
- 21:15Speaker 1: tell you what. I'm gonna make it personal for a moment.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I've been in the circumstance forever. I could absolutely and
- 21:22Speaker 1: I know it. I should drop twenty pounds easily, But
- 21:26Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not morbidly obese. I'm not carrying
- 21:30Speaker 1: around a hundred pounds. I can let it slide and
- 21:33Speaker 1: I have uh embrace that excuse forever and my you know,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I really can't be bothered. What should I do? I
- 21:44Speaker 1: think it depends on what it is that you want.
- 21:46Speaker 1: If you're wanting to change something solely because you want
- 21:48Speaker 1: to lose twenty pounds for the aesthetic, but it doesn't
- 21:51Speaker 1: really bother you in either way, and it's not making
- 21:54Speaker 1: you feel a certain way, then I would say continue
- 21:56Speaker 1: on as you are. But if you're starting to not
- 21:59Speaker 1: feel good, if you're starting to struggle with depression or anxiety,
- 22:02Speaker 1: or you're starting to feel lethargic, those are things that
- 22:06Speaker 1: I would say, you know what, then let's switch it up.
- 22:09Speaker 1: If you're drinking a bunch of diet sodas every day,
- 22:11Speaker 1: let's start drinking some water. Let's go on some walks,
- 22:14Speaker 1: Let's be active, go play tennis with your daughters. Whatever
- 22:17Speaker 1: it may be. But it's got to be something you
- 22:19Speaker 1: want to do for the right reasons. Any client that
- 22:22Speaker 1: says I want to sign up because I want to
- 22:24Speaker 1: a cot in a bikini at spring break, you know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: like it's not the right thing for you, Like anybody
- 22:31Speaker 1: that wants to sign up because you know what, I'm
- 22:34Speaker 1: not feeling like myself. I am not taking care of myself,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and I need you to hold me accountable to the
- 22:40Speaker 1: goals I want to set for myself, that's who should
- 22:43Speaker 1: sign up, all right. I I like that phrase right reasons.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I don't know that it's it's it's impossible to do
- 22:51Speaker 1: sort of a percentage thing because obviously it's individual. How
- 22:54Speaker 1: many people do you think approach all In not for
- 22:58Speaker 1: the right reasons? I think you know, we're able to
- 23:01Speaker 1: weed through that a lot in the questionnaire, and also
- 23:05Speaker 1: we quickly are able to find out through talking to them,
- 23:08Speaker 1: you know, on text, if it is the wrong reasons,
- 23:11Speaker 1: And if it is the wrong reasons, then this isn't
- 23:14Speaker 1: going to be a lifestyle change for them. And you know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: they will soon realize that if they're looking to do
- 23:19Speaker 1: this because it's a quick fix or whatever it may be,
- 23:22Speaker 1: it's not going to change their life. But if they're
- 23:24Speaker 1: looking to do real work on themselves and start believing
- 23:27Speaker 1: in themselves and start doing this for a reason that
- 23:30Speaker 1: is to change their life, then it will. It's just
- 23:34Speaker 1: like anything, nobody can want something more than you, So
- 23:37Speaker 1: that's not what we're trying to do. We're trying to
- 23:39Speaker 1: hold you accountable for what you want and believe in
- 23:42Speaker 1: for yourself. All Right, you are clearly an all In
- 23:46Speaker 1: success story, and I don't know if this is quantifiable
- 23:51Speaker 1: in terms of number or anecdotally, what are other all
- 23:54Speaker 1: in success stories? I mean, we have thousands and we've
- 23:58Speaker 1: we've changed over teen thousand lives. Later on this episode,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'm going to have on you know, two people that
- 24:05Speaker 1: used to be clients that are coaches that are We're
- 24:06Speaker 1: going to talk through some of the different programs and
- 24:08Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. But I think not only have
- 24:12Speaker 1: I personally coached so many people, I also have watched
- 24:17Speaker 1: so many different lives change, and I think that's for me.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's why I do what I do not and it
- 24:24Speaker 1: still holds me accountable to this lifestyle because I have
- 24:27Speaker 1: to practice what I preach. I am not somebody that
- 24:31Speaker 1: believes in you know, Oh, I'm gonna listen to so
- 24:34Speaker 1: and so who doesn't isn't authentic and isn't actually doing
- 24:37Speaker 1: what they say that they're doing, because I have to
- 24:40Speaker 1: believe in myself too. Well, I tell you what you're
- 24:44Speaker 1: you're a living proof of it. Last question from me
- 24:47Speaker 1: when you see somebody and I don't know if this
- 24:50Speaker 1: is over a period of weeks or months or longer.
- 24:53Speaker 1: And you know, everybody on television loves these before acts,
- 24:57Speaker 1: but but in real life, there's a before after. How
- 25:00Speaker 1: does that make you feel incredible? Because you can only
- 25:04Speaker 1: see so much in a picture, you know, people, if
- 25:07Speaker 1: I post it before and after, it's because you can
- 25:10Speaker 1: only visually see on a picture somebody's before and after transformation.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But what's happening inside is so much bigger. I mean
- 25:18Speaker 1: when somebody sang to me, I haven't felt comfortable to
- 25:21Speaker 1: go to the beach with my kids for the last
- 25:23Speaker 1: seven years because I refused to wear shorts, and then
- 25:27Speaker 1: they send me a picture on the beach playing volleyball
- 25:30Speaker 1: with their kids, or it's telling me, I am so
- 25:34Speaker 1: excited we're going on our first vacation and you know
- 25:36Speaker 1: ten years. Can you imagine? You know, you don't want
- 25:40Speaker 1: to be hiding, you want to be living. And that's
- 25:44Speaker 1: what I want to do, and that's what we are doing.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And that's why I'm so passionate about this. It's not
- 25:49Speaker 1: about a number on the scale. It's not about exactly
- 25:52Speaker 1: what you're eating. It's about learning what works for your
- 25:54Speaker 1: body and what doesn't, and what works for your life
- 25:57Speaker 1: and what doesn't, and if sometimes at the beginning when
- 25:59Speaker 1: we are trying to change our life, it's really hard
- 26:01Speaker 1: to do it alone. And that's what I do. That's
- 26:04Speaker 1: what we do. We hold you accountable to the things
- 26:07Speaker 1: that you say you want to do to change your life. Okay,
- 26:10Speaker 1: that brings up one final final question. I promise. Why
- 26:14Speaker 1: is it better for an all in person too to
- 26:19Speaker 1: help me in lieu of having say a fami, my
- 26:22Speaker 1: wife and my child help me. Well? I think sometimes
- 26:25Speaker 1: when it's somebody that you love and that's your family,
- 26:30Speaker 1: they're gonna say, you're gonna go, babe, the long day
- 26:33Speaker 1: of work today, Maybe we should just have that glass
- 26:37Speaker 1: of wine instead of going on that family walk. What
- 26:40Speaker 1: do you think your wife's probably gonna say, fine, let
- 26:42Speaker 1: me get it out of the fridge. Right. But if
- 26:46Speaker 1: you're paying somebody and you have skin in the game,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and I'm saying, hey, Sam, we're gonna go, we're gonna
- 26:52Speaker 1: hit that walk with the wife today, what are you
- 26:54Speaker 1: gonna do? All right, Teddy, We've solved every problem, We've
- 26:58Speaker 1: cured everything, We are done. Thank you so much for
- 27:01Speaker 1: joining much. Have an amazing rest of your week, and
- 27:05Speaker 1: I appreciate you for coming on. Bet Thank you, Teddy,
- 27:07Speaker 1: thanks a lot. Okay, guys, uh so that was so awesome.
- 27:20Speaker 1: For Sam to come on and talk with me. I'm
- 27:22Speaker 1: now bringing on Jen and Brooke and we're hoping to
- 27:27Speaker 1: kind of keep digging through and answering any other questions
- 27:30Speaker 1: you guys may have. So, Hi, ladies, Hi, thanks so
- 27:35Speaker 1: much for joining me. Um. So you heard my conversation
- 27:40Speaker 1: with Sam Brooke. Would you say that there's like anything
- 27:42Speaker 1: that I'm missing I haven't covered? Yeah. I think from
- 27:47Speaker 1: an outsiders perspective, it's important to really emphasize the fact
- 27:52Speaker 1: that Allen is a lifestyle change and it's not a diet.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And I know you touched on that a bit that
- 27:57Speaker 1: if people are signing up because they want to lose
- 28:00Speaker 1: a few quick pounds, we're not the right people for that.
- 28:02Speaker 1: But if people are really looking to change their lives,
- 28:05Speaker 1: then that's why all in. That's our mission and that's
- 28:07Speaker 1: our focus. That's a good point. So a lot of
- 28:10Speaker 1: people are saying, you know, this is this diet, this
- 28:13Speaker 1: is this diet, and making this about that, but truthfully,
- 28:18Speaker 1: this is so much more, and that's why you're hiring
- 28:20Speaker 1: us as accountability coaches. If you want to go do
- 28:24Speaker 1: a diet, you should go do it. You should go
- 28:27Speaker 1: to a dietitian but if you want to go change
- 28:30Speaker 1: your life, if you want to change your lifestyle, I'm
- 28:33Speaker 1: not saying that a dietitian or a nutritionist or anybody
- 28:36Speaker 1: else can't do that for you, But I'm saying, this
- 28:38Speaker 1: is what we do, and this is what we are about,
- 28:41Speaker 1: and it's tailored to you. And I think throughout all
- 28:45Speaker 1: of this, a lot of what's been talked about is
- 28:47Speaker 1: our two week jump start versus what happens after the
- 28:51Speaker 1: two week jump start. So the two week jump start
- 28:53Speaker 1: is intense, but Jen, how would you describe our monthly Well,
- 28:58Speaker 1: everything like just lose sence up in monthly and that's
- 29:01Speaker 1: where you really learn how to make this a sustainable
- 29:04Speaker 1: lifestyle change. And I think most people sign up for
- 29:07Speaker 1: our program. They get started because they want to lose weight,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and then they realize this is about so much more
- 29:13Speaker 1: than that, and they start developing those healthy habits and
- 29:17Speaker 1: it takes, you know, it takes a while to implement
- 29:19Speaker 1: a daily routine and make it a habit, and then
- 29:22Speaker 1: they start feeling so much better as they do these
- 29:25Speaker 1: things each day, and that's what keeps them on the
- 29:28Speaker 1: program and keeps them enjoying making this lifestyle change and
- 29:31Speaker 1: feeling proud and wanting to keep going. Yeah, And I
- 29:34Speaker 1: think something else that people are saying, it's like, oh,
- 29:37Speaker 1: are there people you know recruiting other people know what's
- 29:42Speaker 1: happening is you're seeing your friends life change and that
- 29:48Speaker 1: is making you go, wow, I want to do those
- 29:50Speaker 1: same things. I see Brooke smiling, or I like when
- 29:54Speaker 1: Brooke actually broke was one of my clients orich, you know,
- 29:57Speaker 1: she was an early on client and she's end up
- 30:00Speaker 1: with a friend of hers um and they weren't on
- 30:03Speaker 1: the same text exchange, but like they would share stories
- 30:06Speaker 1: like what was the experience different for you versus different
- 30:09Speaker 1: for her? Because a big part also is this isn't
- 30:12Speaker 1: a one size fit all. We based it on a
- 30:15Speaker 1: personality type. Yeah. For me, I'm like a very competitive
- 30:20Speaker 1: person and I need a really tangible goal. So although
- 30:23Speaker 1: my goal when like Jen said, when I initially signed up,
- 30:26Speaker 1: it was about weight loss, when I got you know,
- 30:29Speaker 1: into the program, I got really excited about fitness and
- 30:32Speaker 1: I realized that running was actually something that I loved
- 30:35Speaker 1: and then I was good at And I shared that
- 30:37Speaker 1: with Teddy and I shared with her, you know, these
- 30:40Speaker 1: are my running goals. These are some things I want
- 30:41Speaker 1: to accomplish throughout this program, and Teddy would really hold
- 30:45Speaker 1: me accountable to those things and push me and challenge me,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and she would have these like weekly challenges with me
- 30:50Speaker 1: where one of us would beat the other and then
- 30:52Speaker 1: we would kind of go back and forth. Whereas my
- 30:55Speaker 1: friend who did the program, um, for her it was
- 30:57Speaker 1: just kind of about creating this a healthy lifestyle and
- 31:01Speaker 1: getting back into working out, and her thing was cycling.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Like we had very different journeys because we have different goals.
- 31:08Speaker 1: And I think again for both of us, that initial
- 31:10Speaker 1: goal might have been the weight loss, but what came
- 31:13Speaker 1: over time was this lifestyle change where we now understood
- 31:17Speaker 1: how to eat healthy, balanced meals, how to choose you know,
- 31:21Speaker 1: food that we love but that might be better for
- 31:23Speaker 1: us as opposed to food that dragged us down and
- 31:26Speaker 1: made us feel sick and made us feel bad. And
- 31:28Speaker 1: then personally for me, finding that passion for fitness. And
- 31:32Speaker 1: you know, it's been three years now and I still
- 31:34Speaker 1: love working out, and I've started trying all these new
- 31:37Speaker 1: workouts and exercises that I wouldn't have felt comfortable um
- 31:41Speaker 1: participating in three years ago before doing the program. Yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 1: I mean and I think what a lot of people forget. Um.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Even walking into that first Soul Cycle class if you've
- 31:52Speaker 1: been wanting to do that can be challenging. But if
- 31:55Speaker 1: you have a coach that's texting you, okay, I remember
- 31:58Speaker 1: that feeling. I remember the first time I walked into
- 32:00Speaker 1: Soul Cycle. All right, if you want to be in
- 32:02Speaker 1: the room and not be seen, this is the bike
- 32:04Speaker 1: to go to. I mean there is so many light
- 32:08Speaker 1: conversations too, but that just give you that confidence of like, wow,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I can do this. I am not alone, and you
- 32:14Speaker 1: know what, I'm not crazy for feeling this way, and
- 32:16Speaker 1: I am worth it and it's not gonna be that
- 32:19Speaker 1: bad to try something new. And you know, I think
- 32:21Speaker 1: a lot of emphasis has been put on you know
- 32:24Speaker 1: that we have people step on the scale because that yes,
- 32:28Speaker 1: that is a way to hold somebody accountable, but it
- 32:31Speaker 1: also is a measurable tool. Our emphasis in the program
- 32:34Speaker 1: isn't about getting to a certain way. People often will
- 32:36Speaker 1: talk about their goals, and I know Jin, for one,
- 32:40Speaker 1: Jin wasn't one of my clients, but she would. I
- 32:45Speaker 1: was on her text exchange and I remember she had
- 32:48Speaker 1: an original number goal and I don't, and it was
- 32:51Speaker 1: not something we ever held our accountable too. But do
- 32:54Speaker 1: you want to kind of share your story about that? So,
- 32:56Speaker 1: I mean, when you fill up the application, we ask
- 32:58Speaker 1: you what all right, what's your goal? And I put
- 33:01Speaker 1: a number down because when I first signed up to me,
- 33:04Speaker 1: it was about getting to that number. Once I started,
- 33:07Speaker 1: I never got to that number, and it was okay
- 33:10Speaker 1: because I learned where I felt confident in my own skin.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I was feeling good. Um, I didn't need to get
- 33:16Speaker 1: to that number for any type of validation. I got
- 33:19Speaker 1: to a point where I was very comfortable, felt confident,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and that was enough. And I did any coach ever
- 33:26Speaker 1: say to you, hey, remember that original wait you thought
- 33:30Speaker 1: you want? Never brought that up to me, and I
- 33:33Speaker 1: was still like, I gotta get to that number. But
- 33:34Speaker 1: then I realized, like, I never need to get to
- 33:36Speaker 1: that number. It's not because so many of us in
- 33:40Speaker 1: our head I think we need to get to a
- 33:42Speaker 1: number we never need to get to. Like even when
- 33:44Speaker 1: I do my Q and A S on Instagram, the
- 33:46Speaker 1: first thing people will always ask me how much do
- 33:48Speaker 1: you weigh? And I never answer that because one most
- 33:52Speaker 1: people don't know that I'm five three and a half.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Most people don't know my muscle mass. It's not something
- 33:57Speaker 1: that so I don't like to put numbers out there.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It's not because I have a negative relationship with the scale.
- 34:03Speaker 1: It's because I don't like the idea of somebody comparing
- 34:07Speaker 1: themselves to my number, because that's not healthy. So that's
- 34:11Speaker 1: where you start to learn that the scale isn't this
- 34:14Speaker 1: negative trigger, but it's something that can show you what
- 34:18Speaker 1: works for your body. Something as crazy as like, when
- 34:21Speaker 1: I first started changing my life, I didn't ever pay
- 34:24Speaker 1: attention to anything I ate. I was one of those
- 34:27Speaker 1: people that just I would, you know, go from diet
- 34:30Speaker 1: to diet, or I would just eat everything there ever
- 34:33Speaker 1: was in sight. Um. And then when I started changing
- 34:36Speaker 1: my life, I realized, like, wow, I can eat cash shows.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I love cashews, they feel good. My body feels good
- 34:41Speaker 1: on cashews, But when I eat almonds, I don't feel good.
- 34:44Speaker 1: My stomach hurts, it bothers me. Something's going on. So
- 34:48Speaker 1: I could start to realize these are the foods that
- 34:51Speaker 1: may are still considered healthy foods but don't really work
- 34:54Speaker 1: the best for me. And that's also what this program does.
- 34:57Speaker 1: It's not just about saying like, Okay, you know you
- 35:00Speaker 1: shouldn't eat that whole cake or whatever it might be.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's learning how to fill your pantry, how to eat
- 35:07Speaker 1: the things that make you give you energy. And I
- 35:10Speaker 1: think that that's also what we need to focus on
- 35:12Speaker 1: and about how to make sustainable life changes. It's not
- 35:17Speaker 1: about eliminating things that you love. I mean, you guys see,
- 35:21Speaker 1: I drink alcohol. I live a fulfilling life like I
- 35:25Speaker 1: never feel like I'm living without And that's really what
- 35:29Speaker 1: this is about. I actually think that's a really interesting
- 35:33Speaker 1: point you brought up about the scale, because before doing
- 35:36Speaker 1: the program, I've had a lot of anxiety around the scale.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I had like an unhealthy relationship with the scale. I
- 35:43Speaker 1: was afraid of it because I knew that that number
- 35:46Speaker 1: I saw was not something that would make me happy.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And when I signed up for the program, kind of
- 35:51Speaker 1: like Teddy said, like, you don't really know what to
- 35:54Speaker 1: base this, you know, quote unquote goal weight. You kind
- 35:57Speaker 1: of just know what other people weigh, and you want
- 35:59Speaker 1: to get to this number. And as I was going
- 36:02Speaker 1: through the program, I realized, kind of like Jen, I
- 36:05Speaker 1: didn't need to get to that number because while someone
- 36:08Speaker 1: else might feel happy and healthy and confident at that number,
- 36:11Speaker 1: I actually felt my best at a different number, and
- 36:14Speaker 1: I realized it wasn't about the scale, and I was
- 36:16Speaker 1: no longer afraid of the scale. Even if it went
- 36:19Speaker 1: up a little, whatever happened with it, I was fine
- 36:21Speaker 1: with it because I was feeling confident in my choices
- 36:25Speaker 1: and knowing that I was doing the best thing for
- 36:26Speaker 1: my body and it it no longer mattered what the
- 36:29Speaker 1: scale set. And I think it's important to point out
- 36:31Speaker 1: if you know that the scale is a bad trigger
- 36:35Speaker 1: for you, don't sign up for a program where you
- 36:39Speaker 1: have to step on the scale. If it's something that
- 36:41Speaker 1: you've kind of you know, I don't want to step
- 36:42Speaker 1: on the scale because I don't want to know. Then yeah, okay,
- 36:45Speaker 1: that's different. But if if you've had a past eating
- 36:47Speaker 1: disorder or you're struggling in that way, that's why we
- 36:50Speaker 1: asked those questions that intake because we don't want to
- 36:54Speaker 1: put somebody in a compromising position, because more than anything,
- 36:58Speaker 1: we want what's best for you. None of us, I
- 37:01Speaker 1: can assure you, none of us do this for money.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We every most of my coaches have other jobs as well.
- 37:08Speaker 1: We do this because we love it and we like
- 37:13Speaker 1: seeing how people change their lives and we like giving
- 37:16Speaker 1: that gives us a purpose, It lights our our souls
- 37:19Speaker 1: on fire, it gives it gives us happiness. And when
- 37:22Speaker 1: you do something that feels really good, you want to
- 37:24Speaker 1: share it with us others. Yeah, that's the thing all
- 37:27Speaker 1: of our coaches, like, I wish people could see their
- 37:30Speaker 1: hearts and like what it is, why it is that
- 37:33Speaker 1: they're doing this. It's because they truly, truly, deep down
- 37:36Speaker 1: just want to want to help people, and they want
- 37:38Speaker 1: to share what you know, they've received from this program
- 37:41Speaker 1: with other people and spread it and spread positivity and
- 37:44Speaker 1: empower women to feel positive about their body at any size. Um,
- 37:49Speaker 1: but just to make women feel healthy. And that's kind
- 37:51Speaker 1: of what we all stem from, this place of wanting
- 37:53Speaker 1: to help people. And it's what I wish everyone knew
- 37:57Speaker 1: about our coaches, because there's no team out there that
- 38:00Speaker 1: you know, more female empowered and um and Maile wanting
- 38:05Speaker 1: men and women to just feel their absolute best and
- 38:07Speaker 1: to play a part in that. I know, just like
- 38:09Speaker 1: watching Brooks say that, that is like why I am
- 38:12Speaker 1: getting emotional right now and why I'm even doing this podcast.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Like I said, from the beginning, knowing the hearts that
- 38:18Speaker 1: we all have for this. That's why we had to
- 38:21Speaker 1: address what's going on in social media, because we all
- 38:25Speaker 1: want what's best for every single one of our clients.
- 38:28Speaker 1: And that's why we have so many success stories, and
- 38:32Speaker 1: that's why so many clients, you know, that's why they
- 38:36Speaker 1: let us even put it on my Instagram because they
- 38:39Speaker 1: want to show how how much they love it. And
- 38:42Speaker 1: I I think that it's just important to remember every
- 38:47Speaker 1: journey is your own, and if this isn't a journey
- 38:50Speaker 1: you want to go on, then don't and don't ever
- 38:52Speaker 1: let anybody pressure you to do anything you don't want
- 38:55Speaker 1: to do. But if you want to do something, or
- 38:57Speaker 1: if you see somebody happy and thriving and doing the
- 39:00Speaker 1: need to go and try and attack that person isn't
- 39:04Speaker 1: something that we want to to live in in this space. Yeah,
- 39:08Speaker 1: And one thing I wanted to say is when, like
- 39:11Speaker 1: kind of touching on what Brooks said, whenever I have
- 39:13Speaker 1: a client that goes through something very positive that is
- 39:16Speaker 1: totally all in not related, I feel so happy for them.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I don't even remember anything about whatever else they're trying
- 39:24Speaker 1: to achieve. But like I've had people get taken off
- 39:27Speaker 1: of blood pressure medication. I had one lady that had
- 39:30Speaker 1: dangerously high cholesterol and it dropped really low and it
- 39:34Speaker 1: was like in a good space and she was on
- 39:35Speaker 1: three medications, then she was on none. I've had people
- 39:38Speaker 1: get new jobs because they felt confident to go in
- 39:41Speaker 1: and ask for a different job or a raise, or
- 39:44Speaker 1: apply for a job that they wanted. They didn't feel
- 39:46Speaker 1: confident before those things outweigh any scale anyone has ever
- 39:51Speaker 1: tried to achieve a million times over? Yeah, I mean
- 39:54Speaker 1: I've never once said, oh I love this client so
- 39:57Speaker 1: much because of this weight. I don't even of the
- 40:00Speaker 1: things I remember the people that have these great non
- 40:03Speaker 1: scale victories that they're so happy about them change their
- 40:07Speaker 1: life for and and a lot of times the coaches like,
- 40:09Speaker 1: we're the first to hear of these accomplishments because you've
- 40:12Speaker 1: built such a close bond and you are communicating throughout
- 40:16Speaker 1: the day every single day, and you're getting, you know,
- 40:18Speaker 1: really close with these people, and you feel comfortable sharing
- 40:21Speaker 1: things that they might not want to share with you know,
- 40:24Speaker 1: friends and family just yet, but they feel comfortable sharing
- 40:26Speaker 1: with you because they know that you're gonna support them
- 40:29Speaker 1: and uplift them and keep it confidential. That's what they request,
- 40:32Speaker 1: and so it's really exciting. A lot of times you'll
- 40:35Speaker 1: be the first to hear of a pregnancy or an engagement,
- 40:38Speaker 1: or you know, sometimes you're the first year of you know,
- 40:42Speaker 1: like Teddy mentioned earlier, a woman leaving her husband because
- 40:45Speaker 1: it's been an unhealthy relationship, and you get to be
- 40:48Speaker 1: that support um and you know, kind of remind her
- 40:51Speaker 1: that what she's doing is best for her. And so
- 40:54Speaker 1: all of those things, all those positives outweigh anything else
- 40:57Speaker 1: and I and I think the reason that clients feel
- 41:00Speaker 1: comfortable doing that is because they know we are their advocates,
- 41:04Speaker 1: We are their supporters. We are not the nutritionists, we
- 41:07Speaker 1: are not the dietitian. We are not your personal trainer.
- 41:10Speaker 1: We are your accountability coach. And that's what every person
- 41:14Speaker 1: that signs up knows. And I think that's what can't
- 41:16Speaker 1: get lost here. UM. Do you guys think there's anything
- 41:20Speaker 1: else from what we've seen on social media that I
- 41:22Speaker 1: haven't addressed or that we haven't addressed so far. No,
- 41:25Speaker 1: I just want to reiterate that these coaches are doing
- 41:30Speaker 1: this because they love it and they want to help people.
- 41:32Speaker 1: And I think at the end of the day, the
- 41:34Speaker 1: positivity and UM you know, the supportive community we've created
- 41:40Speaker 1: is going to outweigh anything negative anyone could say, because
- 41:42Speaker 1: I know that Teddy your heart, all of our hearts
- 41:45Speaker 1: are in the right place, and I don't think anyone
- 41:48Speaker 1: can bring us down. I know I think that you guys.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I always say this, you know, like I know that
- 41:54Speaker 1: the future is bright. And I want to say to
- 41:58Speaker 1: anybody listening to this pod cast, please email in and
- 42:03Speaker 1: ask us any questions that you may have. Any questions
- 42:07Speaker 1: that you have are open and welcome. We are happy
- 42:09Speaker 1: to answer questions, but we're not happy to answer hate.
- 42:13Speaker 1: So if you have pain in your heart when you're
- 42:15Speaker 1: writing something, think about it. Think about it for a second.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Think about who you could be hurting. It's not me,
- 42:20Speaker 1: I mean, yes, you're hurting me, but you're also hurting
- 42:24Speaker 1: whomever's life has recently been changed, who's ever recently felt
- 42:28Speaker 1: really confident and good in their own skin, whoever you
- 42:31Speaker 1: know taking that next step, and you're making something that's
- 42:35Speaker 1: really has nothing to do with you, about you, and
- 42:38Speaker 1: trying to hurt somebody who's made some really positive changes
- 42:40Speaker 1: in their life. So please email in UM and keep
- 42:45Speaker 1: tuning in asking us questions. We are going to just
- 42:48Speaker 1: like Allen has continued to evolve throughout these years and
- 42:52Speaker 1: change and minutes have changed, and coaches have changed, and
- 42:56Speaker 1: I have changed. That's the goal of Teddy t Pot
- 42:59Speaker 1: as well. I to keep evolving. I want to keep learning,
- 43:01Speaker 1: I want to keep going with all of you. So
- 43:04Speaker 1: I am here for whatever you need. UM, thank you
- 43:06Speaker 1: so much and I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for listening.
