- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Davey Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Hi, guys, welcome back to another episode of Dirty Rush.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I am jen Fessler, and today is for the moms.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yay, Finally we've heard all the stories about mom's visiting
- 0:23Speaker 3: campus and having a little too much fun. Today, I'm
- 0:26Speaker 3: going to talk to a panel of sorority women who
- 0:29Speaker 3: are here to share their own stories of moms going wild.
- 0:32Speaker 3: How controlled moms need to be when they visit college
- 0:35Speaker 3: or do they have the availability to let loose. We're
- 0:38Speaker 3: going to be unpacking it all today. So, you guys,
- 0:42Speaker 3: I have had plenty of visiting days, parents, weekends.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Sorority what do these call it? Red dress?
- 0:51Speaker 3: This big fundraiser at Delaware, I went to it with
- 0:55Speaker 3: my daughter and my husband, and like just plenty of
- 0:58Speaker 3: times where I was at either Maryland or Delaware as
- 1:03Speaker 3: a mother but pretending to be a student, either pretending
- 1:07Speaker 3: to be a sorority girl or a frap. I don't know,
- 1:10Speaker 3: but I have lots of embarrassing stories because I would
- 1:15Speaker 3: get to either school and my kids were so excited
- 1:19Speaker 3: and they would push me. They were pushers, So like
- 1:22Speaker 3: all of a sudden, I'd be standing at some dirty
- 1:25Speaker 3: frat house with like a funnel in my mouth and
- 1:30Speaker 3: like chugging beer, and then my daughter wanted to do
- 1:34Speaker 3: shots with me, and it was ridiculous to the point
- 1:37Speaker 3: where I would be more drunk like than I ever
- 1:43Speaker 3: was in college. I always would fall asleep before whatever
- 1:46Speaker 3: big event there was, whether there was like a big
- 1:48Speaker 3: game that we were supposed to show up at or
- 1:51Speaker 3: I don't know, a huge party. I'd always get into
- 1:54Speaker 3: a fight with my daughter my son because I couldn't
- 1:56Speaker 3: take it. I'd want to go back to the hotel.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It was a whole show. But I have to say
- 2:03Speaker 3: it was really fun, and it was really fun for
- 2:05Speaker 3: me to see my kids like that, because you know,
- 2:08Speaker 3: when they're younger, you're clearly you're not drinking with them.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I mean, if I guess, the first time I really
- 2:12Speaker 3: drank with my kids was at one of these you
- 2:15Speaker 3: know parents weekends. I mean, we have pictures of all
- 2:17Speaker 3: of us like doing shots off of like that ski
- 2:20Speaker 3: or whatever it is. But I also know that I
- 2:23Speaker 3: one time got I had had too much to drink.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We went to a frat house, and there was a
- 2:29Speaker 3: boy at this frat house that Rachel I guess had
- 2:33Speaker 3: gone out with. He was not being very nice to
- 2:34Speaker 3: my daughter, and I want to say I stood in
- 2:37Speaker 3: the corner and shot him dirty looks the entire time
- 2:40Speaker 3: I was there. So I'm not that proud of that,
- 2:43Speaker 3: but I as long as we're telling true stories, Yeah, yeah,
- 2:46Speaker 3: that kind of happened. So we're going to talk to
- 2:49Speaker 3: some sorority girls and find out what they saw it
- 2:52Speaker 3: in college regarding moms like me. Ellie Hi, Ellie Hi, Hi,
- 2:57Speaker 3: Welcome to Dirty Rush. Thank you for joining us.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Matpyvan Kelly.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, where did you go to school?
- 3:04Speaker 4: I went to USC?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Okay, So you went to USC, and I'm thinking that
- 3:08Speaker 3: you experienced your fair share of parents' weekends and games
- 3:13Speaker 3: and plenty of times when I don't know, moms in
- 3:17Speaker 3: particular maybe went overboard and embarrassed themselves a little bit.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I was talking before we brought you in about my
- 3:24Speaker 3: own embarrassing moments. But what is the worst story that
- 3:28Speaker 3: you have heard about a mom? I'm going wild at USC.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Oh, Well, you're so right. I feel like family weekend
- 3:36Speaker 4: brings out the worst in the best are on and
- 3:41Speaker 4: then it had see to say worse because a lot
- 3:43Speaker 4: of us benefited from this. But basically, this girl that
- 3:48Speaker 4: was in my closer friend group but wasn't in my sorority,
- 3:52Speaker 4: her mom also went to USC and so this was
- 3:55Speaker 4: like a really exciting weekend for her. Right, her dad
- 3:58Speaker 4: wasn't able to come up. So she about one of
- 4:00Speaker 4: her girlfriends that she went to USC with and as
- 4:04Speaker 4: you can imagine, they were just like so happy to
- 4:06Speaker 4: be there and lose all the same spots that they
- 4:09Speaker 4: were used to.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Yep.
- 4:10Speaker 4: And so basically the girl that we knew was just
- 4:13Speaker 4: a bit like on the more introverted side, like she
- 4:15Speaker 4: would come out but wasn't really a big chatterbox and
- 4:19Speaker 4: wasn't the most social.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I already feel bad for her, and this is her mom.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Right, Her mom is like determined to have that change.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It's sophomore year, and she's like, we're going to get
- 4:29Speaker 4: you out of your shell. Like you're all living in
- 4:30Speaker 4: the sorority house. This is your time to shine. And
- 4:34Speaker 4: so we're at the bar.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I'm already cringing, and.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Her mom is starts buying rounds for all of us, right,
- 4:41Speaker 4: and we're all like obviously still underage where seen some
- 4:46Speaker 4: of us are twenty, but we're enjoying it. We're like, yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 4: this is so fun. Like so and So's mom is
- 4:53Speaker 4: like having a good time and her friend.
- 4:54Speaker 2: The other moms there is your father.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Were other moms there, but they had like you know,
- 4:59Speaker 4: like a well drink and like a glass of wine.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Right this mom and her friend are like doing shot
- 5:06Speaker 4: skis with us. They're like talking to the bar staff.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Our guy friends get there and they're just livening up
- 5:14Speaker 4: the party, which was like the best time, okay, but
- 5:18Speaker 4: it got kind of awkward, and I felt really bad
- 5:19Speaker 4: for the girl when this like group of guys that
- 5:24Speaker 4: included a girl or a guy. She used to talk
- 5:26Speaker 4: to mom sugar, mommy to her face, and it was
- 5:31Speaker 4: really awkward.
- 5:33Speaker 2: To the mother's face.
- 5:34Speaker 4: And the mother was like yeah, like all drinks on
- 5:36Speaker 4: me everyone, and it just overhead.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It was super awkward.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I think the daughter was like to embarrass to say anything, Oh.
- 5:45Speaker 3: My god, my daughter, what that's my My daughter would
- 5:48Speaker 3: not have held back, she'd have been like stop it
- 5:50Speaker 3: right now.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I think with the culture, like also, people were just
- 5:55Speaker 4: kind of like maybe some parents were trying to like
- 5:58Speaker 4: flex in a way and like show off that they
- 6:01Speaker 4: can be like the most fun or the most out there,
- 6:04Speaker 4: could do all the ubers and whatnot. And it was
- 6:07Speaker 4: definitely a really unforgettable family weekend, and our moms all
- 6:12Speaker 4: were just kind of like, oh whatever. And also one
- 6:15Speaker 4: of us girls heard that it was a guy who
- 6:17Speaker 4: said it, but we ended up hearing about it later
- 6:21Speaker 4: and we just felt really bad because she was like
- 6:24Speaker 4: younger and cool and hip and trying to relive her
- 6:27Speaker 4: college days. But yeah, this was definitely more introverted and
- 6:32Speaker 4: it put her really out of her comfortable.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Oh I feel that, Oh that's all. That's awful.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Well listen, I mean I was saying before we brought
- 6:41Speaker 3: you on that, you know, I at one point one
- 6:44Speaker 3: particular parents weekend I remember, and I always felt like
- 6:47Speaker 3: they my kids were always just like you know, they
- 6:49Speaker 3: couldn't wait to drink with us. They were so excited,
- 6:51Speaker 3: and they were the ones that were bringing over the
- 6:53Speaker 3: shot skis wherever you call them, and like whatever, and
- 6:56Speaker 3: then the funnels. But I remember one particular one were
- 6:59Speaker 3: we rank with all of my friends, all of my
- 7:01Speaker 3: kid's friends went over to I don't remember it was
- 7:03Speaker 3: my son or my daughter. I think my daughter went
- 7:04Speaker 3: over to a frat house and there was a boy
- 7:07Speaker 3: there that my daughter whispered she just whatever was not
- 7:10Speaker 3: nice to her, or they had gone out or something,
- 7:12Speaker 3: and I just sat there giving him dirty looks like
- 7:14Speaker 3: the entire time I was there, and hoping he was
- 7:16Speaker 3: gonna see me give.
- 7:17Speaker 4: You really protective mama bear.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes, I don't know if I if
- 7:21Speaker 3: somebody had called me sugar mama.
- 7:23Speaker 2: That's what that's what they called her. Yes, yeah, my.
- 7:26Speaker 3: My my daughter would have been like, okay, so thank
- 7:28Speaker 3: you for coming to Delaware. There's the door, and feel
- 7:31Speaker 3: free to never come back, okay, and also never speak
- 7:35Speaker 3: to me again. Right so right, But they meant didn't
- 7:37Speaker 3: a way because she was paying for everything, I guess.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and just like trying to be again the life
- 7:43Speaker 4: of the party and really generous with everyone. And other
- 7:45Speaker 4: people's parents were there, but I don't think they were
- 7:48Speaker 4: at that point in the night like drinking to the level.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yes, did you talk to this? Did you talk to
- 7:54Speaker 3: your friend about it? Afterwards?
- 7:57Speaker 4: We didn't really. Again, I wasn't like super close with her,
- 8:00Speaker 4: and I don't think it was something that like she
- 8:03Speaker 4: really wanted to talk about.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't blame her.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, do you feel like the mom was embarrassed after
- 8:09Speaker 3: when she I mean.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I think they had to talk the next day and
- 8:12Speaker 4: the daughter was like mortified, but she wasn't like would
- 8:16Speaker 4: have said anything in the moment, right, right, And yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 4: I'm not sure if it was like in an overtly
- 8:23Speaker 4: flirty way from the boy, right because like the mom
- 8:26Speaker 4: was cute and fun and doesn't but yeah, it just
- 8:31Speaker 4: came off really wrong.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so funny because I see Elli sometimes and
- 8:35Speaker 3: my social media, so my friends, I mean they're they're
- 8:38Speaker 3: all moms and they go but not my not really.
- 8:41Speaker 3: But occasionally we'll see someone like some mom and she's
- 8:44Speaker 3: wearing like a half shirt, which.
- 8:46Speaker 4: You would definitely get at my school, like for family
- 8:48Speaker 4: weekend and my mom and everyone obviously everyone's mom is
- 8:53Speaker 4: like different in different ages and different styles, but I think, yeah,
- 8:58Speaker 4: she just the the the way that I think some
- 9:03Speaker 4: parents dress that like usc it can definitely yeah, lean into.
- 9:08Speaker 3: You know what, We're gonna have to send this segment
- 9:11Speaker 3: out as a PSA to like all the moms before,
- 9:15Speaker 3: because you do feel like, I know, like at least
- 9:17Speaker 3: for my kids, like they were so excited to go
- 9:19Speaker 3: out drinking with us, like y bar hopping and frat hopping,
- 9:24Speaker 3: and like I was saying that I, you know, not
- 9:27Speaker 3: that I don't. I'm a drinker and I like to
- 9:30Speaker 3: have fun, but like I'll pass out at nine o'clock.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And then they would get mad that I was like
- 9:34Speaker 3: not finishing out the night with them. But so I
- 9:37Speaker 3: think it could kind of go, you know, both ways.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Yeah, my mom even like I would joke with my
- 9:43Speaker 4: friends that she can out party me, she was also
- 9:46Speaker 4: party and I mean she loves to have a good time.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But yeah, those are limits.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Wasn't too far to that end of the spectrum?
- 9:55Speaker 2: That right, right right, there's a happy yes. I agree.
- 10:00Speaker 3: We're going to use this little talk of ours as
- 10:02Speaker 3: a cautionary tale or moms going to parent weekends. Good, okay,
- 10:08Speaker 3: thank you so much for joining us. Ellie, thank you,
- 10:10Speaker 3: bye Bay, take care bye. Love all right you guys,
- 10:27Speaker 3: Now we are bringing in I love this name.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Anastasia. Hi, Anastasia, Hi, how are you hi? Welcome to
- 10:34Speaker 2: Dirty Rush. Thank you for joining us.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Thank you so much for having me.
- 10:37Speaker 2: It is my pleasure.
- 10:38Speaker 3: We are talking about moms that lose it at parents
- 10:41Speaker 3: weekends or at formals, and I am hoping that you
- 10:45Speaker 3: have a good, juicy story for us.
- 10:48Speaker 4: I have the best story.
- 10:51Speaker 1: My friends are laughing so hard that I'm telling this story.
- 10:55Speaker 1: But we everyone in the story included, We all laugh
- 10:57Speaker 1: about this till this day.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And it's actually mom.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Mom, it's hilarious. But so my parents, like they come
- 11:06Speaker 1: for every parents weekend. They love it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Where'd you go to school? I'm sorry and athesia, I
- 11:10Speaker 2: go to UC Berkeley.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, I'm go to UC Berkeley. I'll be
- 11:15Speaker 1: a senior next year. I'm an athlete and then I'm
- 11:16Speaker 1: also an authorty So okay. They love coming up. It's
- 11:20Speaker 1: super fun and for a little bit of context. So
- 11:24Speaker 1: this year was just give me my mom coming up
- 11:26Speaker 1: and I was like really excited and we was going
- 11:29Speaker 1: really well and a little bit just like a week before,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I had like been talking to this guy for like
- 11:35Speaker 1: months on sawn end and my mom of course like
- 11:39Speaker 1: she knew about him and give her all the details.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And he had asked me like a couple of weeks before.
- 11:45Speaker 1: He was like, so like, am I gonna meet your
- 11:47Speaker 1: mom on parents Weekend? And I was like, well, kind
- 11:50Speaker 1: of everyone meets my mom, like she's awesome, Like she'll
- 11:53Speaker 1: probably you a drink and she won't even know you,
- 11:55Speaker 1: like of course, like it's not a big deal if
- 11:57Speaker 1: you meet her. And so fast forward. It's like literally
- 12:01Speaker 1: maybe four days before parents weekend, before my mom's coming,
- 12:05Speaker 1: him and I can get into like a heated argument.
- 12:08Speaker 1: We end things. It was messy and it was brutal
- 12:10Speaker 1: and whatever, and so we fast forward. Now it's parents weekend.
- 12:15Speaker 1: My mom and I are at the tailgate at cal
- 12:18Speaker 1: They kind of do it at like this like hotel
- 12:20Speaker 1: parking lot thing that's the city. So here my mom
- 12:24Speaker 1: and I are. We're in our matching denim dresses. We're
- 12:26Speaker 1: really excited, and we're standing at the bar and she's
- 12:30Speaker 1: like getting some like drinks for me and my friends.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And I turn around and I see my ex's best
- 12:37Speaker 1: friend standing with this mom, and I was like, oh, hey,
- 12:42Speaker 1: is this your mom? And he goes look, gives me
- 12:44Speaker 1: this look and he's like nope. And I look at
- 12:46Speaker 1: her a little bit more and I was like, oh
- 12:48Speaker 1: my god, you're my exes mother. Oh god, my god. Okay,
- 12:53Speaker 1: and I remember she like kind of like hi, and
- 12:56Speaker 1: I was like Hi, like, are you Blah Blah Blah's mom,
- 12:59Speaker 1: And she's like, I am, are you Anastasia? And I go,
- 13:03Speaker 1: oh no, I go, yeah, I am, and she goes,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I just want to tell you I stalked you on
- 13:09Speaker 1: your roster over the summer. You are adorable. I'm so
- 13:13Speaker 1: sorry that my son is such an idiot. I don't
- 13:16Speaker 1: know why he's so stupid, and I don't know what's
- 13:19Speaker 1: wrong with him. And I'm just sitting here and my
- 13:22Speaker 1: friends are behind me. My mom is like listening to
- 13:25Speaker 1: the best story and like she's awesome, like yeah, love
- 13:29Speaker 1: this woman. And she's and I'm like, man, like she's
- 13:32Speaker 1: almost like making me want to like tell her like, yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: your son's kind of a piece of right now. But
- 13:37Speaker 1: like I was like, wait, no, like he's great, he's wonderful,
- 13:40Speaker 1: Like oh great guy, Like you raised a great son.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And she was like no, like I don't know what's
- 13:46Speaker 1: wrong with him, and like going on for like minutes,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and then I look over like away from me, and
- 13:53Speaker 1: I see my seeing this conversation between three like three
- 13:58Speaker 1: my love friends, my mom, me, and we're all just
- 14:01Speaker 1: like hashing and loving each other and it is just
- 14:06Speaker 1: great comedic and like she's hanging out the girls, and
- 14:09Speaker 1: then like she was eventually like okay, like I have
- 14:11Speaker 1: to go back to my son. I was like, you
- 14:12Speaker 1: go back to him, right, And then we're at this
- 14:15Speaker 1: tailgate for like hours, so like everyone now at this
- 14:17Speaker 1: point has like a few drinks in them, right, We're
- 14:20Speaker 1: all having a great time, and the tailgate's about to
- 14:23Speaker 1: close and it's about like everyone's everyone needs to wrap
- 14:25Speaker 1: it up kind of thing, right, and we're about to leave,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and I see my ex come and approach my mom
- 14:32Speaker 1: and I and he's finally just like high missus Snodgrass,
- 14:37Speaker 1: like i just wanted to introduce myself, like I'm sure
- 14:40Speaker 1: you've just heard a lot of things about.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Me, Like, wow, that's pretty ballsy.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I was like the balls on this sky. Like I
- 14:47Speaker 1: was kind of standing there like I haven't spoken to
- 14:51Speaker 1: you since last seed argument. And it's very awkward and
- 14:57Speaker 1: goes and he shakes her hand, and my mom was
- 14:59Speaker 1: kind of just it's like hi, like not like she
- 15:02Speaker 1: was very like composed, but I tell she was like, I.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Don't like you. Never look at my doat right exactly?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like you and I don't want to
- 15:11Speaker 1: speak to you. But I'm gonna be nice for my
- 15:12Speaker 1: daughter's sake. And he was much like, oh, like, why
- 15:16Speaker 1: didn't you introduce me to your mom? And then my
- 15:19Speaker 1: mom just goes, she grows me by the arm and
- 15:21Speaker 1: she goes, we're leaving.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And then yeah, we.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Were just out of there. But it was the funniest
- 15:27Speaker 1: thing ever. And then months like months and months later,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I ran into his mom again because she was at
- 15:32Speaker 1: one of like these like cal events that we have,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and she was just the sweetest woman ever, like called
- 15:37Speaker 1: me out from a crowd and I was like, I
- 15:40Speaker 1: love you. Your son and I didn't work out, that's fine, right,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and I are from this parents weekend, like you're my girl.
- 15:48Speaker 4: She was.
- 15:48Speaker 3: That was very I think that was very gracious of you.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I guess anna her. I'm trying to think if if
- 15:53Speaker 3: I would go up to a girl, because I have
- 15:54Speaker 3: a son and a daughter, and when I go up
- 15:57Speaker 3: to a girl that he had broken up, he would
- 15:59Speaker 3: probably kill me.
- 15:59Speaker 2: He might never speak to be again. Yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 3: If I went up to a girl and I was like, listen,
- 16:05Speaker 3: my son's dick, I can't like he would just even
- 16:07Speaker 3: have breathe out. But yes, but I will say I
- 16:11Speaker 3: already told the story when we opened this episode. I've
- 16:15Speaker 3: given dirty looks to boys. There was recently this, like
- 16:19Speaker 3: literally just a few weeks ago, we were we have
- 16:22Speaker 3: a home in a beach town in Jersey, and we
- 16:25Speaker 3: saw someone that had my daughter had broken up with
- 16:29Speaker 3: probably three years ago, and he was like across the restaurant.
- 16:32Speaker 3: She's like, Mom, that's him, and I said, I'm getting up.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I'm going over there.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Like she's like, you sit down.
- 16:39Speaker 3: But it's like there's something about as you might find
- 16:42Speaker 3: out one day, there's something about that maternal instinct and
- 16:46Speaker 3: that mama bear thing that kicks in that I'm sure
- 16:48Speaker 3: gets a lot of moms in trouble at Parents' Weekend.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I also think it's like when you have such a
- 16:53Speaker 1: close relationship to your daughter and she's just like telling you.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, an X, Y and C.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's like, well, like you would react the same way
- 17:01Speaker 1: as like I'm sure like her friends were reacting same way,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Like my mom was like, I don't.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Like you like my daughter over so No.
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's true that they say though that, like you know
- 17:12Speaker 3: somebody that hurts you, you may forget that person, but
- 17:15Speaker 3: your mother will never forget and will hold grudges.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I mean my kids.
- 17:20Speaker 3: You know, like every kid had whatever stuff, little fights
- 17:23Speaker 3: with their friends and in elementaries, in middle school and
- 17:26Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, Jane's coming over, and you know it's
- 17:31Speaker 3: like I'm the one that can't get past it. And
- 17:32Speaker 3: you can bind that, I guess with alcohol. And that's
- 17:35Speaker 3: like a fun parent's weekend.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Parents weekend is literally a tailgate with all of your
- 17:40Speaker 1: friends and sing all your friend's parents first, which is
- 17:43Speaker 1: super fun. And then it's like, oh, mom, like I
- 17:46Speaker 1: went out with him.
- 17:47Speaker 3: And yeah, well or yeah, excep. My daughter Rachel was
- 17:51Speaker 3: always whispering to me about someone. Yes, my son Zach
- 17:54Speaker 3: can never tell me anything, but Rachel was always whispering
- 17:56Speaker 3: to me about that's him.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And it's fun. It's so fun. I love
- 18:02Speaker 2: that story and I really really like his mom.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Love his mom him and I even joke about it
- 18:08Speaker 1: till this day, like we're like this is I literally
- 18:10Speaker 1: told him, so I was like, oh, by the way.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'm not back together, are you.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no no. Like I was like, by
- 18:14Speaker 1: the way, like I'm coming on a podcast and I'm
- 18:16Speaker 1: totally going to tell the story. And he was like,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you totally shut, and I.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Was like, I love it.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I'm glad you guys are friends. I suppose
- 18:22Speaker 3: even though we still hate him over here, we still.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Hate him, but we're going to make fun of him
- 18:26Speaker 1: for this forever and praise his mom.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Perfect. Thank you so much and Stasia so nice meeting you.
- 18:32Speaker 3: All right, you guys, So next guest that we have,
- 18:35Speaker 3: we actually are really lucky because we are bringing in
- 18:37Speaker 3: my adorable producer, Miss Kendall. Hello, my love, Hello, Hello,
- 18:44Speaker 3: thank you for coming on, Thank you for coming behind
- 18:47Speaker 3: the camera.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I know, right right, so yes, talk to me topic.
- 18:54Speaker 6: I like right when we talked about doing this topic,
- 18:57Speaker 6: I immediately thought of this story and this nasty vision.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I have in my head. Oh god, you're going to cringe. Okay.
- 19:06Speaker 6: I went to Arizona State University, obviously known as the
- 19:10Speaker 6: Harvard of the West, a big party school.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Obviously.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Yeah, and you obviously are aware that mom's even dads,
- 19:17Speaker 6: but moms really drink extra on like Parents' weekend and
- 19:22Speaker 6: Mom's weekend for sure.
- 19:23Speaker 3: In our defense, I know you heard me say before.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I do feel like a lot of times as moms,
- 19:28Speaker 3: our kids are the ones that are like, you know,
- 19:32Speaker 3: so intent upon getting a drum.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Right, like chug chug. I think I did that to
- 19:36Speaker 4: my mom, and you did.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Rachel ever like ice, you like give you a smear
- 19:41Speaker 6: off ice and make you chug.
- 19:42Speaker 4: That was like a thing when I was in college.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I don't think so, but I just know there was
- 19:46Speaker 3: always shots being handed to me and there it was
- 19:48Speaker 3: just constant.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Okay, I love it.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:50Speaker 6: So there was this mom in my sorority who was
- 19:54Speaker 6: going through a divorce. So I think she was a
- 19:57Speaker 6: little different and probably wild compared to moms whose.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Daughters are putting it on them right.
- 20:02Speaker 6: And she was the definition of like plastic surgery okay,
- 20:07Speaker 6: and had big, a big, a big a big rack
- 20:12Speaker 6: and she was wearing cropped up and she was standing
- 20:16Speaker 6: on an elevated surface by the sophomore DJ like just
- 20:21Speaker 6: dancing like.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Up your down. No no, no no, and I'll never
- 20:25Speaker 2: forget it.
- 20:26Speaker 4: And she kept like getting like wet on.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Her shirt and then her shirt went see throw no, this.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Is the easy part.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Her shirt went see through, so then you could see
- 20:35Speaker 6: like obviously she was a little chilly. And then I
- 20:39Speaker 6: know and then when her daughter tried to tell her
- 20:41Speaker 6: like mom, like like cover up.
- 20:44Speaker 4: She just took off her shirt.
- 20:45Speaker 2: No she didn't, No, she did not. You are making
- 20:48Speaker 2: us up.
- 20:49Speaker 4: No, I'm not making it up. She was just like
- 20:50Speaker 4: in her brow she was like this like.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw up. Not throw I mean I should
- 20:55Speaker 2: be so.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I don't used to be like so judgy, but like.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? She feel bad for the girl.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I'm the mom. Did you Were you friends with the girl?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Yes?
- 21:04Speaker 4: And imagine if it was like a saggy.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Like I can't take it, even if I don't care
- 21:08Speaker 2: what it was.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Imagine if, like you know, it was like a mom
- 21:11Speaker 4: who had more saga, but they were like perfectly perky.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Wait, I don't say what she had.
- 21:15Speaker 3: She kept her braun right, that's brawn, but still yeah
- 21:18Speaker 3: for your bra. No, Kendall, you most certainly do not
- 21:21Speaker 3: you Were you friends with the girl?
- 21:23Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:23Speaker 2: I was friendly.
- 21:23Speaker 4: She was in my pledge.
- 21:24Speaker 2: She mus haven't devastated, and she.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Was like a sweet like I don't even think I
- 21:29Speaker 6: ever saw the girl wear a cropped off herself.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, listen, I mean, I can't imagine waking
- 21:35Speaker 3: up the next morning and being that mom like you
- 21:37Speaker 3: would never do that, Kendall, Rachel, she just came down
- 21:40Speaker 3: for one second. Would ever take off my top and
- 21:42Speaker 3: just be in my bra at like a frat party
- 21:45Speaker 3: and just like shaking?
- 21:47Speaker 4: It's funny?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Would I?
- 21:49Speaker 3: She's laughing, she goes, No, exactly, she goes. She goes, well,
- 21:53Speaker 3: you don't have your boobs, aren't that you're here?
- 21:54Speaker 4: Actually I have my mom here.
- 21:56Speaker 2: She has a story. Let's hear sad.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Tell the stow.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Kendall, but you look like sisters. Yeah, right, Well,
- 22:08Speaker 2: we went to the boys.
- 22:10Speaker 6: One of the boys friends I don't even know which,
- 22:12Speaker 6: say okay, and we saw this mom dancing up because
- 22:14Speaker 6: a lot of moms got dancing out.
- 22:16Speaker 4: The stage, and we saw these frat boys kind of
- 22:19Speaker 4: egging on this really drunk frat boy.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Wait, the frat boys were egging on a mom.
- 22:24Speaker 6: The mom egging on.
- 22:25Speaker 2: The boy, and up this lady was making out. No,
- 22:32Speaker 2: was making out with the frat boy.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Ew yes, that's so, that's almost that borders on not
- 22:39Speaker 3: being funny on.
- 22:40Speaker 4: The stage in front of everybody.
- 22:42Speaker 6: That's yeah, I'm pretty sure she had a wedding ring on.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Holy wait, Rach, did you ever? Did that ever happen
- 22:50Speaker 2: to you?
- 22:51Speaker 3: You've heard the stories, so I want to bring on it,
- 22:54Speaker 3: but she's like, in the middle of working and feeding
- 22:56Speaker 3: the cats. You actually heard about mother making out with
- 22:59Speaker 3: one of the boys. What would you do if I
- 23:01Speaker 3: ever did that?
- 23:02Speaker 2: That would be it?
- 23:03Speaker 3: She would say, listen, it's been real, thank you for
- 23:05Speaker 3: being my mother for eighteen years, and I'll see you never.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I would freak out.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Moms have to get out once in a while because
- 23:12Speaker 6: if they the only time they ever get out is
- 23:14Speaker 6: at their daughter's sorority parties.
- 23:16Speaker 2: It's such a mess.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Oh my god, I cannot imagine then whatever I would
- 23:21Speaker 3: just she would never let me ever like come to
- 23:23Speaker 3: the school, and that would be it.
- 23:24Speaker 4: And imagine if it was you both have sons. Imagine
- 23:26Speaker 4: if you did that with one of the son's friends.
- 23:28Speaker 4: That's even worse.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Can you imagine people do that? Wow, I'm telling you.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I was telling Kendall, I felt guilty about like giving
- 23:35Speaker 3: this boy that had hurt my daughter dirty looks across
- 23:37Speaker 3: the frat house and I never was shaking my boobs anywhere.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're cute, Like the guys were probably
- 23:44Speaker 3: checking you out.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Like they were most rely not thank you for that.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Yeah, Kendall was just like, oh my god, that's a
- 23:51Speaker 4: mom you could tell by the jeez, that's awful, awful, awful.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Anyways, that was too. Thank you for making me feel
- 23:58Speaker 2: better about myself. Evacuate it.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I'm never going to be that bad rach. Of course,
- 24:04Speaker 3: college is over, so who knows. All bets are off?
- 24:21Speaker 3: All right, you guys, So now we are bringing in Melissa. Hi,
- 24:25Speaker 3: Miss Melissa, Hi, Hi, thank you for joining us. Of course,
- 24:30Speaker 3: I think you probably know we're talking about moms who
- 24:32Speaker 3: have lost their parents weekend formal events.
- 24:36Speaker 2: At their kids' schools.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So I'm hoping that you have a funny story for
- 24:39Speaker 3: us about well maybe not about your own mom. That
- 24:42Speaker 3: might be not as funny to you, but maybe maybe yours,
- 24:45Speaker 3: maybe someone else's.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Do you know any moms like this? Yeah?
- 24:48Speaker 5: I have a few stories about like my family.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Oh good, even better? So what did your mom do?
- 24:54Speaker 5: Okay, so this past your family weekend? It was a
- 24:58Speaker 5: big game day and my mom was waiting in line
- 25:00Speaker 5: for the porta pottie at our tailgate and she was
- 25:04Speaker 5: next in line in a frat pledge like shoved her
- 25:08Speaker 5: and so she like turned to the pledge and she was.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Like, what are you doing.
- 25:12Speaker 5: He was like, I need to fucking piss and she
- 25:14Speaker 5: was like, okay, well there's a line and he was
- 25:18Speaker 5: like no, I'm next, Like you can wait.
- 25:20Speaker 3: No he did not, So this is this is quickly
- 25:23Speaker 3: becoming not funny. I want the kid's name, I want
- 25:25Speaker 3: his phone number, I want his address because I'm gonna
- 25:28Speaker 3: lose it.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I have no idea who he is because he
- 25:31Speaker 5: also lied about what frat he was in, because he
- 25:33Speaker 5: said that he was Pike and we like looked at
- 25:36Speaker 5: the ties and it was like not the same tie
- 25:38Speaker 5: at all.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So he was lying.
- 25:40Speaker 5: But basically, then my dad came up and he was like, hey,
- 25:43Speaker 5: what's going on? And he was like, I'm gonna fucking piss.
- 25:48Speaker 5: He shoved my dad. He's like, what Frady in? What
- 25:50Speaker 5: Friday in? My dad was like, I'm fifty two, and
- 25:53Speaker 5: then he was like you want to fight old man?
- 25:55Speaker 2: And then were you there? Did you see this happening?
- 25:58Speaker 5: I wasn't there, but my dad walked.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You must have been, so this is so awful.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Yeah I was because they just said that they were
- 26:04Speaker 5: going to the bathroom for a minute and I was tailgating.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Obviously I was pretty drunk, so I was a little
- 26:11Speaker 5: confused because so that my dad was like, I'm fifty two,
- 26:14Speaker 5: and he's like, okay, do you want to fight old man?
- 26:16Speaker 5: And my dad was like, no, just go to the
- 26:18Speaker 5: back of the line. And he punched my dad in
- 26:20Speaker 5: the face and my dad walks back with black eye.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? This is going on? Wait a second.
- 26:26Speaker 2: This is an awful, horrible story.
- 26:28Speaker 3: This is not mom's gone wild. This is about a
- 26:31Speaker 3: kid that a mom needs to go wild on.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Yes, this is awful.
- 26:35Speaker 5: Yeah, so my parents are both pissed off.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Of course your dad got a black eye.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Yeah, my boyfriend's the president of a different frat, so
- 26:46Speaker 5: he just took my parents to his frat to like
- 26:48Speaker 5: cool off and get ice and stuff.
- 26:51Speaker 2: This is sick.
- 26:52Speaker 3: This is like, well, this is a great This is
- 26:55Speaker 3: a story that belongs in an episode of Uh. I
- 26:59Speaker 3: don't know, stay home, don't go to parents weekend, or
- 27:02Speaker 3: stay away from rat boys, I don't know, something like that,
- 27:05Speaker 3: or stay away from drunk frat boys.
- 27:06Speaker 2: But this is nasty. That's awful.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Yeah, he was crazy, probably on drugs or something.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Oh my god, insane. Well, Melissa, I'm sorry that happened
- 27:16Speaker 2: to you. That's awful.
- 27:17Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 27:17Speaker 5: We're all good now.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Okay, okay, because your parents have fun? Did they have
- 27:21Speaker 3: fun at parents weekend outside of getting punched in the face.
- 27:24Speaker 5: They didn't end up making it to the game that day,
- 27:27Speaker 5: I'll bet they didn't, but the night before we went
- 27:30Speaker 5: out and we went hard on drinking, so they still
- 27:34Speaker 5: had a good weekend.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Okay, Well, they're good sports. Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's lucky that he punched the right family, because
- 27:43Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, he's lucky that they are mature enough
- 27:46Speaker 3: and that they were able. They were able to handle
- 27:48Speaker 3: it. It would have not have gone that well if he
- 27:49Speaker 3: had punched a fessler.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Yeah, no, it could have been a lot worse. Luck,
- 27:54Speaker 5: my god didn't fight back.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yes, please please tell your father. I'm very impressed by him.
- 28:00Speaker 5: I think my dad did want to punch bag, but
- 28:02Speaker 5: my mom was like, don't.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Embarrass it, of course, yes, yeah, they don't want embarrass you. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 3: I love them all right, Well, congratulations on having such
- 28:12Speaker 3: great parents.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you. Hopeing that little runt learned his lesson, Yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I hope so. Probably don't though.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah right, probably not all right, Melissa, thanks for joining us.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Thank you okay, bye, all right you guys. That is
- 28:26Speaker 3: it for part one of this episode of Dirty Rush.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Stay tuned for part two.
